'Fighting for Justice' Author Mark Shaw Exposes the Truth
"Folks, I am so excited to have as my guest this hour mark Shaw. He's the bestselling author of the reporter who knew too much, the new book absolutely fascinating. It's called fighting for justice, the improbable journaling journey to exposing cover ups about the JFK assassination, the deaths and the deaths of Marilyn Monroe and Dorothy kilgallen. We're getting into it here. So it is really fascinating stuff Mark and we had Johnny Russo on this program a few times and he said, you were absolutely dead on and he was somebody that was deeply connected with the mob and Frank Costello's boy, so to speak. Very nice kind of amazing to have him ratify what you're saying. But let's just keep going. Well, I'm probably one of the most least likely people who could have ever done this area. I was a college dropout at Purdue. It took me 6 years. I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but I was a criminal defense lawyer for a number of years and then a network legal analyst for the Tyson case and other kinds of Bryant and OJ and all that. I always look at motive when you're looking at who's responsible for a homicide. And so the next book, as you mentioned, it was the reporter who knew too much. And that's where I met this incredible human being journalist, media icon, Dorothy kilgallen. Most people know about her from what my line, the quiz show on CBS for ten years. That's all that I knew. And then I started looking into it and I found out that she had really gotten involved in the JFK assassination. They called her the most powerful female voice in America, the post did. And so I found out that, hey, wait a minute, Dorothy got into this. And she decided that she needed to go ahead and look into it because she and JFK were very close friends.

Marc Thiessen: Trump Subpoena Is Political Theatre by Jan. 6 Committee
"Yesterday, Mark Tyson over on Fox News had some pretty good analysis of the timing of the January 6th select committee now, 25 days before the midterm election. Cut number three, here's Mark Tisch in cut three. Yeah, so like everybody on this panel, I was appalled by what happened on January 6th. I spent 7 years working up in the Senate. It was a privilege to walk out on the Senate floor. And every time I see video, like what we saw today, my blood boils. But then as I watched that video today, I had this distinct feeling that I was beaten my emotions were being manipulated, that I was being I was being turned up to get angry about this all over again. And I think that's the purpose of what this hearing was. As you said, if they were going to, if they were going to indict if they were going to subpoena Trump, they could have done it a year ago. If they were really wanted to do this, it felt like political theater. It felt like I don't think it's a coincidence that they scheduled the rescheduled this hearing for the day that the inflation numbers came out. Because we just found out that the record inflation continues and we got numbers on the consumer price index and they want everybody to be talking about January 6th instead of that. So I just feel like it's not just political theater. It's political manipulation. I don't think it's going to work.
Charlie and Stephen Moore Discuss the Downfall of Chicago
"Joining me now is one of my favorite guests and a fellow chicagoan as we share our lament of the downfall of a once great American city. That's not why he's here today to talk about, but we always kind of start with the Chicago update. It is Steve Moore. Steve, welcome back to the program. Steve, every time you come back on the show, another amazing business has left Chicago. Now it's Tyson Foods. Steve, tell us the latest Chicago. I think you still live there. You travel through there, has Chicago finally hit rock bottom. Hey Charlie, great to be with you. It is just heartbreaking to me as somebody who grew up in Chicagoland. And still believes that Chicago is one of the great cities in the world, although I don't think it certainly was when I was growing up. I'm not so sure you could say that today, given the control, the inflation is, I mean, the taxes are so high in Chicago now, the schools are horrific. Corrupt leadership and a lot of the business leaders who I've talked to who have moved out of Chicago, Charlie, they're telling me they could even, they could put up with all of that, but what they can't put up with is that the danger that they face and their employees face having a business located in Chicago with the shootings with the muggings with the crime that is so rampant. And so you're right, this is about the 5th. I mean, look, Sears is out of Chicago now. Citadel is out of Chicago now. Boeing moved out of Chicago. Tyson's food. And by the way, Tyson's food moved out. I mean, my goodness, how bad can it be in Chicago? When you're moving out of Chicago moving to Arkansas, I'm just sort of saying that tongue in cheek, but it is so sad to see, even the Chicago Bears are moving out of Chicago. You see that? Yeah, that's right they're moving to Arlington hikes. The Chicago Bears can't even stay at soldier field.
ADF's Tyson Langhofer Recounts the Case of Pamela Ricard
"In these crazy times, people constantly ask me what can I do? What can I do? Well, here's one thing you can do. You can help our Friends at the alliance defending freedom. These guys are heroes. In fact, I wanted to have Tyson langhart for he's a senior counsel at ADF and director of the center for academic freedom at ADF to talk about to us about something they're working on now. So you get some sense of what these heroes at ADF are doing Tyson Lang hoffer, who is currently in loudoun county, Virginia, welcome to the program. Thanks for having me here. You tell us about the case of Pam Ricard. This is just so classic. I mean, the evils that people are dealing with that parents are having to deal with with schools effectively telling them we can do what we want with your kids. We don't need your permission. I mean, this is as un American as anything imaginable. It's happening now and you guys at ADF are dealing with it. You're fighting the battle. So tell us about the case of Pam Ricard. Yeah, sure. So Pam's a middle school math teacher in junction city, Kansas. And. A year ago, Pam was forced to basically was forced to use pronouns of students at the request and she said, look, I'll be happy to use their name, but I just don't want to lie to the students. But on top of that, the school told her that she had to use the legal name and biological pronoun communicating with parents, but yet when the students who use the preferred name and she said, okay, so what you're saying is she had to participate as a teacher. She was being told to deceive the parents. This is what she was being told to do.
Hulu's Mike Tyson Series Is Good Despite His Disapproval
"You can not sleep on the series about Mike Tyson on Hulu. The streaming platform Hulu. They had a way of doing things and putting the show together. It's in a really great way, the actor playing Mike Tyson is trevante Rhodes. He was in moonlight. He was in bird box. He gets Mike's mannerisms down like you can't believe. This guy should be an impressionist. Harvey Keitel plays the famous train of custom motto who eventually, you know, adopted Mike and let him live in his house upstate New York to get him out of Brownsville, but the scenes and Brownsville Brooklyn of where he grew up and what it was life, what his life was like brutal. Robin Givens his ex-wife and her mother, they come across as a really bad and conniving pair of women, but Mike's brutality in the ring and his brutality when he had his one man show his brutal honesty when he had his one man show. They kind of go hand in hand. And it wasn't until that night that he began to speak so honestly that he just said to everybody, I'm going to tell you all the truth, all right? I'm going to take you back. I'm going to tell you, I'm going to tell you everything. And that always turned me on when someone says that as a person who always followed people around and tried to get dirt, dig up dirt. It's the people who were just so honest that you don't chase his heart. You just go, you know, the guy said he has problems here and there. I'm not going to go keep digging up rocks. He is who he is. He's imperfect. It's the people who just lie and you just go, I'm going to catch this guy. So I love that honesty about Mike Tyson. That's what made America fall in love with him again. It's hard to turn away from. Unfortunately, Mike is not happy about Hulu, running this series.

"Syria is denying U.S. accusations it's holding or kidnapped journalist Austin tais or other Americans President Biden made the accusation last week in a statement released by The White House to mark the tenth anniversary of Tyson's abduction The journalist was in Syria covering its lengthy conflict and went missing at a checkpoint in a contested area west of Damascus A video released a month later showed him blindfolded and held by armed men saying oh Jesus He has not been heard from since Biden's remarks were the clearest indication so far that the U.S. is certain ties as being held by the government of president Assad I'm Julie Walker

Hulu Pisses Off Mike Tyson
"So here comes the streaming service, Hulu, who is now on Mike's bad side for pushing forward this upcoming series on Mike's life's in a series called Mike. Makes sense. And since they never asked Mike, there's no love lost between he and the streamer. So recently Hulu has this trailer for the upcoming mini series, which follows Mike's journey from troubled teen to a sports icon, but however what happens when Tyson himself hasn't granted his approval to the series, I just wonder why this streaming service did this. I admit, the whole list series was a welcome surprise. Most fans were expecting a Tyson related film in the future, but it was for the much anticipated Jamie Foxx movie. He's doing a biopic where he plays Mike, but I gotta tell ya. The whole series looks good. It looks very promising. Trevante Rhodes looks great in the promotional footage that was released the other day. But Mike himself made it known publicly for the first time since the launch of that trailer. That he in fact did not approve this series. And he did that by thanking one of his friends who refused to take money from Hulu and promote the series that friend being UFC president Dana White.
Emmett Till accuser, in memoir, denies wanting teen killed

Why Justin Thomas Is an Early Favorite for the British Open
"Like, who's your early favorite for saint Andrews to win? I mean, it's arguably the easiest open course where you can just send it all over the place. But there's a whole hell of a lot of course knowledge there. Right. Yeah, we have a live golf guy, Louie us Tyson, who won. Justin Thomas is my favorite. He's almost mine every week. Yeah, I think JT was there. Yeah. Most notably because I'm in a survivor pool. You're in Fort Worth Texas. I think you might be at it too, or you brought his in it, whatever. But I saved Justin Thomas for the British open this week. I have saved him all year, I've got a chance if I can finish the year strong to win this thing and it's like 80 grand to the winner or something. It's 700 bucks to get it. There's 500 or 600 people in a shitload of people, but anyway, I've saved Justin Thomas for the British open. I think Justin Thomas wins at saint Andrews. I know Colby two year also a friend of the pod has been on FTP Justin Thomas's personal trader. Is there with JT this week and next week, he's got his stable, the stables there. That's important. It's got more of a home feel to it when you've got your trainer and your swing coach, even when you're ten hours away at a different time zone, that's important. Little things like that make a big difference in a major championship or even in a even in a tournament where you're shit. And in 7 different time zones. It doesn't matter, but when you've got little things like that go on your way it makes a big difference. I got Justin Thomas at the British open saint Andrews. I mean, it's going to be a low score. It's going to be a low score. I saw a quote from JT. I think he played his first professional round at saint Andrews. And he said, the first fairway at saint Andrews is like a 120 yards wide. And he said, well, shit, if I well shit, if I can't hit this fairway, I might as well just never play professional golf and retire here. And he obviously piped it down the middle and she made $45 million ever since without joining the live tour, which is something in itself, but yeah, Justin Thomas is my favorite next week. I know that's an boring favorite because it's not really that out of

Mike Tyson Repeatedly Punches Unruly Airplane Passenger
Toby Harnden Shares a Story From on the Ground in Afghanistan
"You mentioned this story, the prison uprising, Mike spann, a former marine CIA paramilitary. For those who know nothing, give us the story of that incredible event and what that man did. Yeah. It is incredible. And so November 25th, 2001. Two CIA officers walk into this fort called calla jangi, which means literally like fort of war outside mazar I Sharif. Now, backing up a little bit mazarin Sharif had fallen to northern alliance forces, aided by our allies. Our allies aided by the CIA green berets and air force combat controllers and the awesome might have U.S. air power overhead on November 10th. Now, less than a month earlier, Mike spann had been one of 8 CIA officers who landed in the Darius souf valley, aboard two Black Hawk helicopters that had flown in from Kashi Khan about K two, a former Soviet air base that Uzbekistan government had given over to the Americans for this post 9 11 mission. So October 17th, 2001, they land at dropped into the unknown. First Americans behind America. So we are barely barely a month out since 9 11. Yeah. First Americans behind them enemy lines. Now there had been a CIA team called jawbreaker that had landed in the pantry of Ali on September 26th, but that was, you know, relatively speaking safe territory controlled by the northern alliance. But this was enemy territory, Taliban controlled territory. So 8 of them, four of them were paramilitaries, one of those was Mike span. So when paramilitary is somebody who's been seconded, usually from the military and is working in the CIA using their skills for the CIA. Yeah, usually they actually in the CIA sometimes their contractors or people who've been seconded and on some of the other teams that were actually serving members of the Delta force and seals. But the four paramount trees on team alpha were serving CIOs special activities, division. Scott spellman, who was on the cover of the book, he was later became very senior, it was the senior CIA guy on the National Security Council during the Trump administration. He became station chief in Kabul, but then a young officer, but already battle hardened he had been wounded in the battle of Mogadishu in Somalia in 1993. It was a guy called Alex Hernandez, who was the deputy chief, who was a sergeant major, gone full career in special forces and then joined the agency and two case officers, JRC, who was the chief who'd worked with the CIA out of Islamabad in the 1980s against the Soviets for the supply and stinger missiles to the mujahideen and David Tyson who you mentioned at the beginning who was with Mike span on November 25th 2001. So they're in unfriendly territory. This is the Ford of war, walk us through that event. So David was a case officer based in Tashkent and spoke Uzbek almost fluently. And so he's the linguist and the main linguist on the team, although JR, seger also he spoke diary, which was the sort of lingua franca in Afghanistan. But on that day, the team split, there's a big fight, a hundred miles to the east. It expected in Kunduz so the bulk of American forces are there. But the night before 400 Al-Qaeda prisoners had arrived on the eastern edge of mazarin reef to surrender, and it was extremely murky why they were there. They should have been surrendering in Kunduz. And basically, I mean, what I was able to establish almost beyond doubt is that this was a Trojan horse operation. It was a deliberate trap. Yeah, it was a Taliban Al-Qaeda operation to put pretend that for these 400 fighters had surrendered, but in fact they were made up remained armed. They sort of exploited Afghan custom to keep their weapons with them and they were planning an uprising. Because you can have lots of people surrender at once if it's a regular army during the Gulf War, we had thousands of Iraqis surrender at once. When it's irregular fighters, you don't usually get hundreds of them surrendering at the same time. It's a little bit

Who Is 'First Casualty' Author Toby Harnden?
"Before we get into these amazing stories, Mike span, David Tyson, John walker lind, who is Toby Honda. Tell us about what you did in the British armed forces and your life as a journalist before you became an author. Yes, well, you know, we share a somewhat similar accent as listeners and viewers will detect. You still got yours. Our minds kind of rubbing off a little bit, but I don't know. I'm worried. I'm worried about mind getting a little bit Americanized. But I trust yeah, you're a bit soggy in the middle of the Atlantic somewhere. Yeah, I mean the ace. So yeah, I'm 56 years old, I was born in 66. My father was in the navy. We moved around, we sort of ended up in Manchester, industrial city in the northwest. You don't have a mancunian accent. I think the Royal Navy actually did for the mancunian accent, which was pretty skin deep anyway. But you know, I sort of, you know, I wanted to follow in my father's footstep, I guess there's so many sort of young men do. And I also wanted to get out of Manchester and see the world and it just seemed like a very kind of insular sort of small sort of place. And so all that teenage angst was just channeled towards working hard to get out. And so I got a sponsorship from the I joined the navy at 18. Went to Dartmouth, which is the Britannia royal naval college, kind of the equivalent of the U.S. naval academy at Annapolis, but not really because it's more basic officers training. It's like santas is shorter. Yeah, that's right. I mean, I was there for less than a year. And I threw the navy I got a sponsorship to Oxford to study modern history, so I went off whilst serving naval officer, although I barely wore the uniform for those years apart from a few months sailing around sort of Hong Kong and the far east and Australia. So I had some good times. Yes, exactly. So I was serving naval officer for three years at college and then graduated from college and was pitched in to a career. Which I enjoyed immensely, but you know, it was after the Falklands War, which was 1982, I was joining and supplying to join just sort of join the Falklands actually, age 16. But I missed that. I was stationed in Scotland for the Gulf War, tried very hard to get involved. They managed to that's a long way away from Iraq. I know. They managed to win it without meeting my services. And I remember my boss at the time said, listen to, we don't worry about it. There's going to be plenty of time for medals. And I remember thinking, no, there won't. And of course I left after ten years of service without a single

My friends but i can go to the retailer dispensary by. We'd right so it chain it changed Changed the game. No mark for your question. View though are with eventually where it goes lounges. Camouflage eventually will come out more and more like. Would you think anything would ever happen with you with what you're doing would you ever have lounges in the restaurant or in the back. We ever own little lounge now but When it becomes a actual cannabis lounge with food and beverage. I don't know that i would do catch with that in the culinary business And we can talk to your team about that idea. In general what would really go well with it like is it sushi or is it like the greatest italian you know pizza and and like easy food to have that you desire maybe but just like a dumbed down version of a sophisticated restaurant. It's like wine. Look at like wine. You can correlate strains with food. Yeah but it would have to really do a pairing. it would just be like throw catch on it. Not in general you know. I think that look. Food and beverage goes with everything every activity. We do revolves around that. So certainly as things get more creative than entrepreneurs start entering those markets because of the galaxy. You will see a probably a tremendous amount of pairing and high middle and low you know consumer y- pricing or whatever it's gonna be me it's gonna be interesting in the next two years you know if you win tightened Ideas to make a little town near pitting and I was always wanting to Because i was going to be a guest at the carnival in rio as fail some nice. 'cause the thousand acre It would be like cuba back in the fifties and forties showgirls elaborate luxury houses and stuff. And i think that was gonna be a winner I'm looking at the freeway here. So we come up of closer than could soon to cello. Go julia yeah. There's your at your at really liked this pinnacle moment. Time in industry like you can call it. You know the way prohibition ended and the amount of innovation that came out of that running around legal alcohol selling here in the same kind of kind of moment. Now where even the conversation. The fact that you're having conversations at regular dinner tables all across the country about marijuana being legal and then getting into businesses. And you've got young entrepreneurs all over the place which stimulates no different than tech amazing amounts of ideas and creativity and museum park space around. Who knows but i'm just saying there's doing. No annual at the very beginning of it near the forefront like this huge industry that we already know has a giant demand. Well it's interesting. We're and we're a technology company. We came from mainstream. Try to hire people. People like there'd be interviewed for the job. He'd be like oh. Is this good for my resume. I'm like you're not right. Fit for us. Yeah we started to bring in you know view top talent from all like you said from the mainstream world and people want a new challenge. And it's it's again. It's fun to learn something and educate yourself and be at the forefront of like influence how people actually like smoke and how people are going to take these everything. I even like calling him drugs. Take these medicines. So it's pretty exciting. Twenty four the bike ride is ruled by. They was passing cigarettes on the New enright oh yeah right for. They thought it was bad for them. Doctors or smoking commercials talking about how great healthy. It's it's you know it's an exciting time for a lot of different things. But especially in the in the cannabis in control sub space. I think it's gonna be you gotta pop culture. Getting involved got television shows creating shows whether this is the beginning stages of the anti aging program buddy along your opinion on any d you know what that is and ding try doing that with. I mean i don't know they say it. Manipulates your cells in it. And it's the anti-ageing knew it d. It makes you feel terrible by the way talking bills before..

"Bought a gun on any he killed on you. Just how much shit. Here just Don't you think like he's great. Then we just had we just had brain a wayne brady. He was just here yesterday and talking to you guys are very you know multi-talented you know what i'm saying. I think you know that's part of the acting thing. I think earliest like imitation right. And i think you know i had to figure out. There's a difference between so when you're playing. Great people like martin luther king are mike. Tyson are any living. Great are that's lived on walked amongst the earth that we've seen documented great you. It's difference between imitating them on camera and actually playing them and playing. Someone requires going into the character of them. The human the human nature of them is sitting in them as well. You know. Almost leading their so invoke into your spirit as opposed to just doing an imitation. And so that's where you know as i've grown as an actor You know sitting in sitting in two characters as opposed to imitating them. There took a minute which is a gift I mean it's it's something that you that you recognize and you develop over time you know. What's what's separately you from from the rest of the from from the rest of the path and people that you probably grew up grew up with a well made you into a distinct actor that i committed I really went in You know. I i guess i was like always running from reality so to go into dive into another character was always a hiding place for me to be free to be whoever i wanted to be. You know in that character. And so i didn't i didn't i was never embarrassed to be raw to be ugly to be snotty to be you know to how crazy looking face to do something wild. I was always ready to go all the way in all the way to the mat For role and that's the job is like you think about it. When i'm doing a scene. I have to convey an emotion not only in the scene. The has to go through a camera through a computer into an editing bay into thing then onto a screen. tv steam into to the audience. You have so many layers to get through to touch person so it was really important for me to really be authentic because in truth in the lie that we're living actors all we have is the truth. Active the complicated. So yeah. What what what advice she got for mike lou. The time that we had here was columbus. Short here i think everything's gonna be okay with come on now. He is needed to get out of his way a little bit and realize he's had of his family job as the Cliff family quick. Look at life man my family and if i rice them means they raise him being. If i can caveat the kipps gabby ah in my responsibility. that's real columbus. You have millions of people men You know that that showcase a you know listen to podcasts. Were message for the man. You don't to close off here in a culture that we believe in you know that we're in. It's called cancel culture. And i'm not talking about myself in in in in specifics. People were so quick to cancel people. I think we should start being quick to forgive people and find Find some compassion and understanding seeing ourselves in each other because we we all go through it. not just myself not just mike this you all of us and so You know let's start living in a spirit of forgiveness. Let's be neat trick because for mine. My was fifty five years being planet. They're really into punishment punishment of the big thing in american law law or human nature. They put the human nature in the law. The law okay. They don't forget the clinician about that kind of style right because by not forgiving to this work cabinet make money off few you become a private right. How much was seventy five thousand. A fucking inmate some fifty dollars. Yeah weeding bridge going right. It'd government right. that's another thing. Last night. we owned companies. Yeah own pit and the f. Free labor is a key fighting man no matter what. It looks like keep fighting. There's mike said earlier. Like i don't know if we were on ira. That was off air but he was saying about the mind in like how fight my we. Nothing i'm never gonna make narrative dishing this and that but even on my lowest day i still get my butt up and i still swing every day. I'm still swinging. Even when i want to give up still swinging so i guess you know. Keep swinging a y'all keep fighting in. He has to be you. Wanna be before you become him evans lifestyle. Whoever you wanna be like you want to success easy how he got his lifestyle with fowler lifestyle. So you have to be him before you're even him right. That's that's a bar right there. You gotta be him before. You're even him a you before you even you and what i mean by me. Be be the man i be my future self. Yeah just to end with with how. How cool is to You know to be on the stated mike members you have to close off you. This is the first time we've actually sat down and chopped it up like this. I see my guys like you know as a father and like a family man. You know coming in from jim with the little high shorts on outta me like a regular coming in the kitchen. Some play golf until the please tennis and my wife and my bags remove. It'd be a husband and a father and like you know that's that's that's what the world doesn't really get to see. He was already my hero in the ring. Now he's my hero as a man. You know what i mean. And that's a bar. Thank you whether you have a guys. You guys just watched an episode of hot boxer. mike tyson. I used to say this all the time when you're if you can't you're fighting the world every day and you gotta come home in your home. You can't there's no peace then. There is no peace right. You'd rather you'd rather box twelve around. Mike tyson's go back home and talk. Shit yes if. I had to choose back back in the day if i had to choose. Go home or fight. Twelve twelve rivalry might. I don't care getting pummeled must have been home. I'm this one guy after that. Got hit a shit. But how do that. Our you fucking. Oh yeah you've read you fucks up. People don't a lot of people men. Don't talk about enough. I really don't believe is that especially in this generation. And i wanna be clear about this. You know there's a lot of women that are victims of domestic violence victims of abuse. But there's a lot of men that are abused verbally and it's not and we're supposed to just eat it right because we're we're the stronger vessel. I mean you you can come up to me. Call me a bitch commie. This commie at that communist. Punch me in my face though for you know. Do whatever you want. And i'm and i gotta eat it because i'm a man right but what does that do to every time that you you whether that i think a chip away at yourself a little bit every single time you know you you'd have a couple of scratches. You eat those. But what is it doing to you internally. You know what. I mean to be exactly so you just become smaller. It doesn't matter what your bank account looks like. It doesn't matter what station in life. And i think we need to talk about that more someone women. This is what we can't help this internal as genetic some women have to be a boss. She won't take any less. You have to be the boss. Those are the ones believe a goal tuba belittling your man Make you know what the job is to do. They have handled live monday to be divorced. Make sure they run in the team. This woman like that. I mean it's a trip. Because i can see you got. You got your divorce to that relationship. I mean you know a lot laid it laid heavy on you. You know what. I'm saying like going through like this whole mental health stuff and then lawsuits and things like that and then you had to plead guilty to take didn't do i mean she literally he's trying to kill me. You know what i'm saying. I found the email how it all went down is. I came home from work late. My ipad was kitchen counter assault on my ipad and it was open and her emails. They're all i saw was. How do we just get rid of this. Negga once and for all and i said I scrolled up to see what who she was talking to. Was that dude and he was like. We can't talk about this on email. When can we meet up. So i went upstairs. Like turn on the lights bond bond dog and then we'll go step to the negative yet gentleman step disney in her straight to her. You know what i mean. So she freaked out and that's when it all went down it was easier to get out in front of it. Say you're about the you know you were threatened. You were abused and those which they give somebody else then they tell them this we hit this beck you make scare some kind of the golden goose so stay with me. Have your cake we can. We're leaking this do from brad. We killing them. We leading them. We leak in his do an options were killing killer self and once they didn't work have admitted to sign yet. Once that didn't work it was killed my name. Kill my reputation. Kill my career and they succeeded for spell but now we hear you know what i'm saying. Ninety eight million people looking at you. Now that's crazy but you know what i mean like. They succeeded for spellbound. I'm here and you know a lot of people. Wh what i worked out. They don't give black men a second chance even if i did do it. I've paid all the consequences. As if i did right but even if i did do it Do we not believe in second chances You know we give. We've given we've given robert downey junior second chances. We'll give him joaquin phoenix. We has tarnish a career men with this I wanna say it's i would say tarnished but it has has been his made more evidently impeded the ability to work at the highest level and to provide the way in the skill sets that i've been gifted to make a living Because you know of the in trepidation. Nobody wants to get close to somebody. That's accused of you know domestic battery or you know abuse and all that that's bad that's like it's got animals women and children you mess with those things. You think I think this is any woman can say this when we can say women kill the osbournes boyfriend boyfriend in their boyfriends girlfriends. There's no accountability. I if a woman makes an accusation town that they need to have proof and most of the time he has about most of the movements most the time. Let me be honest with you. And i'm and. I'm speaking up for the women that are domestically abused. My mom was domestically abuse for years for women. That are really abused abused. They don't really. they don't really talk. Because i don't know why as as the has business talk a lot too. Yeah there have been abusing talk loud. And then there's some that have that weaponized that have.

I like no no. I was in it but i wasn't in you know i didn't but it was good times speaking about celebrity boxing. Mike what did you think of of. Wanna talk to you about that ono. And i think the good but he needs the guy was big was hurting the guy. The guy with big normally guy was his way. He wasn't really hit floyd heart fluid take the shot but that guy hitting a small heavyweight found floyd like hundred and fifty something thirty pound different lot to do. I didn't know that the the wait was such a difference. Would you do you think that. I think that that helped box. Obviously flow would beat them by points. Someone's like because he didn't he didn't he didn't put it on over didn't hurt them. It's what she did he maybe he came out and she may be prepared properly. Maybe then spot with a heavyweight. That's what that guy was small heavyweight. Yeah yeah at no point. Did i ever feel like it was going bad for floyd. Felt like you know he just must-carry carry it. No how can k. The by is getting the guy who made them complicated. Kyle is all fighting years. He was using his lane and then he was clinch. And then dude. Who do you don't have that type of stamina like people. People don't recognize boxing. Pressure boxing pressure from the pure sport of boxing. You guys pressure scariness. Different you know what i'm saying but if somebody just pressured anyways what i'm saying is jake policy. But withstand at least eight rounds. Yes i should hard mike. Oh no doubt about it. Listen that's why. I i can never think negative about floyd condition is not easy. You know that this fight you your mind going. And he's got it all the governor and shit you start going wrong. There is a is a hard business muscle psychological physical so the logical. Do you think. Do you think best. How boxing boxing do what it's gonna do you know. I don't think pasta. You know people have look and say. Florida forty four. This is a young guy thirty pounds heavier. he's younger. You who can Expect them difficult fight. I believe flee with ahead Very intelligent. So is it criminal hermit permit. Okay all right all right. We'll delete gonna start talking right now for kermit. Yeah man. i'm the last comic standing. Do you talk about a little bit about that. Man was a long time ago. Yeah i got kicked off the show for having a blackberry. that's how long ago was a blackberry. Remember the blackberry phone. You weren't supposed to have that When you're the last comic standing you know you're competing against each other and they're afraid that if you have a cell phone that might we're gonna we're gonna send you. They're going to send you out zero jokes to help you get to the next round and so you got kicked out for. We don't mean cheating cheating. I was just. I had a new girlfriend at the time. And you're gonna put me in a hotel for a week. And i just hooked up with this new girl and i'm like no i wanted to keep tabs so i snuck in my phone so i can stay in touch with her bad kid man of us on the show with me. That's left stor some love and will fluff but it won't get kicked off the show and because i got kicked off the show i didn't go down the route of whatever they wanted me to do. I broke off. And i was able to do my own thing. So it's almost like because you became a rubble it was it was able to spark up your you your career. I mean it's been i. Did you watch the last Was it like that. Imagine you know sometimes when somebody when something dramatic happens on a on a tv show. It's in the person breaks often able to make it in house. Because you're somewhat known as a rebel. You know what i'm saying. I think everybody nothing that you're a rebel. Which is a nice guy. Oil sky reputation but rebel. I think everybody has to have a rebel in them. In order to to advance to get better to grow as whether it's an your career and your life you always have to do something a little bit different little bit uncomfortable a little bit outside the box in order to get to where you want to be you know so everybody has to you know man just you know sometimes you gotta take control of your own if you wanna get there otherwise you're just gonna continue to do the same the same thing day after day. So do you think being kicked off from the show eating that led more to your to your destiny. Yes because then. I had to fight to prove that it wasn't a mistake. I needed a show like to myself more than anyone. That man a a you know a drop in the bucket of disappointments along the way there's gonna be many more common. I just got get through this one and get onto the next thing you know so it made me want to go out and just work more. Do more shows get get in front of as many people as possible. What was your Breakthrough mike what do you think it was for you. Something that just like you know that triggered fighting from the amateurs from we first start in the amateurs and professional. Because there's a sweat. They've ever happened to me. I lost my family fight when i was around. Sixteen ago for the guy. Twenty five and twenty five years. Nagina open and i was ridiculous. It was a close fight by fort real hard the isles while he was a little bit more experienced. I was but that loss helped me learn a lot. Yeah i'm so happy i had. That wouldn't have never learnt so they'll show also later in life so that's my average your first time ever competing down. I did not know that it was in boston. He's a local boy and it was packed. Round on the what. Fifteen twenty thousand people who were fighting amateurs and it was new york against massachusetts. It was packed. You still remember that to this day. Now forgive and forget and forty years later. you're still a still kinda. Yeah that's awesome a- never forget your fights yeah disappointments in nelson. You have be careful at. Listen just like in being entertained. Whatever you do best in life today in your job you gotta be careful how you live your life. I mean live your workplace like my fight. You always have to be careful. You fight your fight. Fight fight to be the way you live your life and we all is by the way we do our job and we had extreme job. Even comedians extreme job extreme frank constantly working..

She was up and out of the house by the time. I was old enough to wanna room. How is your bringing up like going with that day You know pretty awesome. Because i was the only one in the house. So i had all the attention from my neighborhood would may report how Not too far from here actually in the city of long beach i was born in san diego group in long beach. And you know. I still live there. Beaches cool you have is a quick drive over here. I was like oh my god. You have like a farmer boy. I don't know if you know that. Got farmer boys. I thought they only had those in the inland empire. That's why it's been three known. Affirmative boys is like a god. It's like a cracker barrel or famous dave's kind of a more like breakfast. Real hearty breakfast he place and i always see the commercials on tv and former boys. And i'm like oh you know and i'm like oh god that's far. That's at least an hour drive. I'm like no jack in the box. Cross the street when you start this shit. let's life. I started fool. What inspired you. Who'd man. I'm gonna be forty five so i mean my my comics. Heroes were robin williams. Paul rodriguez eddie murphy. Eddie murphy. Raw was a comedy special. I saw and i said ooh you know and not really the the comic you would think it would inspire a comic that works relatively clean. It will but eddie murphy was. He was a rock star. He walked out on stage. He commanded the crowd. He did impressions he told stories and it was just it was awesome and i said i want that. I don't know how it's going to happen. But i want that dream very official related buddha ramnath. I wanna be that same thing back then. Yeah house do. But i will be that he s would almost starts with inspiration. Ryan like it starts with imagination that you create your mind. You don't know that you created in your mind once you see this. What is the life of his own right. And how old were you at this time while. It was ten years old when i saw the comedy special and i was just like by the time i finally did it. I did a talent show. And i did impressions on stage. Yeah i didn't always doing comedy. I just knew that i was doing these little. You know ten year old kid. Doing the pressures of the president of you know mickey mouse and all these other little characters and so to do that and then that was the spark when i actually heard the reaction from the crowd as a ten year old. I says that this is going to happen. And so I joined the speech team. When i was in high school and then a couple years out of high school i got up on stage one night and i've been doing it ever since had hit and you kept doing it in a nominee your first time you normally get some successes and when you can get the bug. He can't stop thinking about it. That's why i encourage people all the time. If you got something that you're really passionate about frigging it and all you don't look for other people's approval because you wanna do back did a bunch of movies before once i got on stage. That was totally different animal. You want that feeling. All the time can't live without stat drug on my ear able to connect with so many people want just like when you make them make them sad right. You can play them. I can't explain it right this. We strange yeah because it's it's mad. There's there's so many aspects to just just life into the journeys that how the how they're almost very like similar to each other. just different. Sports is like mike like you. And you guys can relate a lot most athletes and entertainers. They mostly live in the same neighborhood. At the same handed they probably know each other before they got famous. And that's basically the same kind of habit late nights and stuff light of women drinking drugs whatever they have the same lifestyle slow. Not only. They do associated with each other. Thanks for having me again tells me to fight but those truly sales a really good five man. i was actually I didn't think Came out like that. He did his thing. But you know. I had to overcome of the exciting assing. And when you got up and came back in. That was a good fight. Man know the people that their money's worth. Yeah there's a lot of different switches. When when someone drops you hard to overcome that in the end come out to the job though. Yeah thank you. Joe combination to those combinations commissions picked it up. You know what really impresses me in that fight with With with chris in the third round when he when he dropped he do and then he hurt you a second time for the second time that he hits you up. You know what. I'm saying. You're like fuck that you drop me a second time and you the man man. Thank you manage after the long lay-off When loss against anthony josh royals kinda fell to you know rain. I felt the rustiness. I fell just so much different than sparring and fighting in a row fight. But you know. I got the rounds in Got the job done. That's the most important hit. Listen if coming with amazing. He shouldn't even feel bad about that. Don't let your mind play tricks. You did a great job. Yeah people don't understand to the fact that you guys are bigger mango in twelve rounds to you know what i'm saying is what it takes to given the ring. Yeah i'm glad. Thank god earth thing worked out good and you gotta move on. Gotta stay busy before. I wouldn't be training like how i am now before i would five bomb. Start doing everything next brother you know. There's a lot of different options. there's resorts has been calling me out. there's why from from the uk. there's there's a lot of there's a lot of good opponents out there and now i gotta stay in shape and be ready might mike do you think. Do you think the heavyweight from your era. You think now 'cause heavyweight heavy for a minute. There was a drought in popularity. Back in the back. Your boxing do you think. It's comeback mike to the glory days. The heavyweight division will. It has a lot of guys like lego and the exciting guidance. Division and yeah. I think it's very exciting. You're thinking about having. Finding he could fight with burger naming the dante. Yeah you got so many guys to fight. You can fight from england again but the black guy white Tyson fury liberal but another guy from england. This black guy in white year. Yeah that's the me and him actually being going back and forth other he has no respect. Yeah they'll be a good five between me and him Tease as well while they're at that meeting. Meanwhile the we're going to negotiate something. But i guess one the clause to further trilogy for tyson fury. So then he's mandatory. Now i mean the walder has to fight. Tyson fury three an order for in order for him to fight anthony joshua. Yeah and it's crazy. Because listened josh meeting it paid no side money the fight or they took the fight away from. I don't think they told him that. There are sowing them or anything like that but you want how do you take check into wild. I think has already a contract. Our had that yesterday that has to take place men and so what what what how would you like to see the because you guys are the four horsemen joshua you. Tyson fury deontay wilder man. That's a freaking. That's a bracket of a bradley and they should have like a tournament where we all get to fight each other and to see. What was the dante dante tight. And then making them look man. Yeah that's gonna be a really good fight. They're making money when i say fight. Think mike who would take that argos either way no way you know. Don't they have nothing to be sad about it. Nothing the plane. He'd for great fight. I think guys number. Anything happens to be punches hard. He thinks size matters in that fight. Mike will they both the same size pretty much different weight and different ways of heavyweight tyson. Fury got him. I think thirty pounds man right thirty forty pounds meals like at two seventy something and While there was. I got to twenty into thirty while the how much. How much was what was what was the pound difference product fifty pounds. I think if tyson fury pressures him and the fight to him. I think we'll see the same thing as the last fight that appear to happen. People want wanna see the people want to see it. yeah. I even message. Eighty hers. And i told him a and he will with the trilogy against me and anthony joshua and known thing here was like The worried faces and deja vu. And i think that would be perfect. You catchy the text. The promoters lowest is that about the pomona although the enemy the q. Spike we're have to approach the different ways and i looked at. Yeah and it's like come on eighty her talking. Gimme the fired and he hits. Wouldn't it happens. I know you obviously you. You gave josh with dot come. How come you're clause didn't work. How work without with with joshua and Because it wasn't the same. I don't think we signed for For a rematch clause or something or something that we could not wanted to you guys just kind of like missed. I mean thing on the contract that said that we could in or something. I had to win to win the five year but weren't uta sites that you had all the belt at that time when you the right by mainland mistakes him for a reason but more opportunities will come long as we stay active. We stay busy and we stay in the ahead of the game and you think josh will give you that that they're fighting you think i'm pretty sure they will unless there is no. But i'm talking about joshua joshua the fighter. The person will give you that that that that trilogy will do you think i. I think josh for respects you a lot. Because even the second fight he he's still sees that could came back and you could have knocked his ass out again for real fantasy. I think you're the last person he would wanna fight. Because you're a super dangerous and he's not used to a body style like you said. What did that goes high low high. And you know what i'm saying. Moore anthony again with a chance because those those are those those are paid as that are life changing and because we got to you to fight man. You look good left fight. I got the defeated frank. Crystals up for the fight. He was up and he was. You'll you'll find those combinations will get a little bit more. I kinda got confident. In the first few rounds thin. That's how he kinda got me back of my head and kind of wobbled me a little bit. But that's the thing about fighters when they get dropped the have to come back stronger. You know professionally. That make a big. He went down. He got backup started throwing punches in the way make feel like you're he down. Don't do that everybody people in your fucking head. Aim in the fucking rainy ditch. Motherfucking there in the ring. The gado new have to you have to walk around. The secretary dropped dead of a heart attack. The fuck they talk about getting all they have a fucking heart attack us. You know man to me never fought. This guy didn't not to this guy before devastating before he wants to kill you then we experience that experience that talk shit. Kill you for nothing into nothing to insult to kill you. Crazy to muslim intel has to be at the end of the day. They're trying to do the same to yay and read your book your know if i won this fight i move up more. My family do better to hide. The more won the.
