"The browns cut, stud receiver Jarvis Landry, he'll be 30 in November. He was unhappy. He was expensive. I have a lot of intrigue. Where is he going to go? I would imagine he will likely sign with a contender, buffalo, Tampa, chargers, Kansas City, something like that. Cleveland saved nearly $15 million by cutting him. So it was good for their salary cap. I actually didn't cost them very much in dead Kevin. $1.5 million in dead cap. A great move all around for Cleveland, honestly. And I think Jarvis lander still has good years left. He had over a thousand yards receiving a 2019. I want to see where he will go. I think he's going to sign a contract with a good football team and try to go into Super Bowl. And I'm rooting for him. So there are a couple of interesting free agents that were recently added to the free agent pool. Jarvis Landry I cut miles Jack got cut Z Darius Smith got cut. I'm really interested to see where those guys go. The Broncos signed defensive and Randy Gregory yesterday. Randy Gregory actually told the Dallas Cowboys he would sign with them arena resigned with them. But then Dallas dropped the ball big time. Dallas included wording last minute in the contract that Randy Gregory did not like, did not feel comfortable with. And so instead of signing a 5 year $70 million deal with the Dallas Cowboys, he signed a 5 year $70 million deal with Denver instead and said, bye bye. Sorry, Dallas, you missed out. And he bails on another offer. That one's on Dallas. You can't, you can't play games late in the game. If you wanna play or you gotta get them. There's another person making an offer. You miss out. And I think it's a better he'll make a little less money in Denver because of taxes. But I don't know, man. You know, what's a better life winning a Super Bowl with Russell Wilson in Denver? Or being a solid football team, a meal take a little more a couple more $1 million to play in Dallas, but I think he's actually going to have a better life win more and have a good time in Denver, so I like this move..

"Does it mean you need to ignore your defense and they cut linebacker miles Jack? They're leading tackler last year. And it's not like he's old. He's 26 years old. 27 in September. They cut him to save $8.35 million. That does not feel worth it to me. Your best defensive play you're going to get cut him for $8 million. I mean, to me, it makes almost no sense. You're letting a good player in his prime walk away from your organization. And you didn't even trade him. You're just going to let him leave. Makes no sense to me. I don't like it. The jets made a couple of solid moves. They re signed receiver banks and burials to a two year $12 million deal. He's a return man too. It's a good move I like that. They also sign tight end. CJ uzama from Cincinnati to a three year $24 million deal. He's 29 years old, CJ zama last year got 49 passes for 493 yards and 5 touchdowns. Hey, they got a tight end. They retained a receiver, they also signed guard, Lake and Tomlinson to help their offensive line he came over from the forty-niners. He got a three year $41.2 million deal. I like it. Okay, Aaron Rodgers signed a three year $150 million contract extension to return to the Green Bay Packers. They moved some money around, so as cap number for 2022 has been lowered from a little over $46 million to 28. It's a massive deal. It really helps them with the salary cap. And now Aaron is under contract for 2022, 2023 and 2024. Here are a couple of things I have in response to that number one. You got to trade your backup quarterback, Jordan love, a former first round pick. He's trade value as high enough that getting rid of Jordan love could give you a player who can help you win a Super Bowl Aaron Rodgers or a draft pick that can help you in a Super Bowl Aaron Rodgers. Did you make that move? You got to make that trade. And it makes no sense to waste Jordan love sitting on the bench. I just don't feel good about that. I would rather him be somewhere getting a shot to play than sitting wasting away behind Aaron Rodgers. Number two, I want you to hear this. Listen, packers fans. Marcus Whitman, I love you. My buddy. I am very curious if Aaron Rodgers will ever win another Super Bowl. They haven't been able to get it done in Green Bay with pretty good circumstances around him recently. So Aaron is going to dominate the NFC north the packers the Vikings, the packers against his own team. The Lions, the Vikings, the bears. But I do not want to hear any excuses ever again about how Aaron Rodgers being held back by the grain day packers. He could have left. This was the time. This was the opportunity for Aaron to demand a trade and get out of Green Bay. But instead he's making a ton of money. "I think he's going to be definitely a playoff team. Again, that division isn't very good. He bought it for over half a $1 million, 5000 5000. $518,000, 628. 518 $628,000, a little over half a $1 million. I know I butchered that. I'm sorry. It's early in the morning. I'm doing my best. So 24 hours about after that guy bought that football, the final touchdown ball. Brady would announce he's returning to the NFL and that ball lost nearly all of its value. I don't feel bad for that guy though at all. I've thought about this a lot. If you have the money to spend the equivalent of buying a house, over $500,000 on a football, and you lose that money, well, you already spent it on a football. I just don't have any, I don't feel bad for this guy. If a, he's probably a really rich dude with a ton of money. B, he really spent all of his life savings on this football. $500,000 and bought a football instead of a house. I will be learned a really valuable lesson. You can buy a nice house. Think about how many people you could help with $500,000. How many meals you could buy for people? I'm not a big memorabilia guy. I never, it seems like just frivolous stupid spending. Is going to be under this vaccine mandate now, Is it legal? Listen, there is some Supreme Court precedent for vaccine mandates imposed by governments, not necessarily by businesses. So this thing will make its way through the courts, and there will be plenty of discussion about that. I'm up for it. I'm ready for it. I'm listening to it because I can understand both sides of it. There is an interesting thing going on, though, when it comes to office spaces, and it is that the honor system is what is taking over because yes, there may be companies. And I'm not looking at This one. But there are companies that say things like you have to wear a mask in the office building. Vaccinated or not, This is going to be a masked space. Yes, everyone is saying that I think most companies are saying that most businesses are saying that But no mask. Police has emerged. Not here. Not in any other restaurants or businesses. Yes, When you walk into any of these places, you see the sign masks required, but has anyone forcing the issue once you're inside? I haven't experienced that. I mean l a county. It's vastly different from Orange County and Orange County. People are not wearing masks, and they're not shaming you. And they're not even looking twice if you walk into a bagel store without your mask. And I like county people will give you the look. They'll give you the look of Oh, you're not wearing your mask. I walked into a pavilions last week and I had forgotten my mask because I had come from orange County where some masters you came from the land of freedom. Well, I mean, whatever, however, you want to describe it there more stringent up here and I walk in and all of a sudden I'm looking around. I'm like, Why are people looking at me and I was like, Oh, I forgot the mask. So I go up to the guy near the register who works there. And I said Hi. Do you happen to have a mask? I'm sorry, Forgot and he looked at me like I had slapped his baby. And I'm thinking what a different world it's and you know, like Wayne was talking about this morning. There was no politics. There was no shaming when it came to other vaccines or things like that. But for some reason with the Covid, it's super political and personal for people, and I know that some people may know somebody who's gotten very sick with this. Known somebody, even if it's tangentially who has died or had to be hospitalized and put on a ventilator. And so it's more of a slap in the face. If somebody sees you, and you're not wearing your mask, and they know somebody afflicted with this sink, right bad. So it's different than just knowing you've got the vaccine or what have you, But the difference in perception Just over a county line is incredible to me. And it's weird that even in those communities where you know if in L, a county you are Used to seeing every place require masks. They make a big deal out of it. It's unusual to go into bonds and not see somebody wearing a mask. That there are the secret. Hey, did you realize if you go to the Vaughns on Main Street? Oh, totally Anything. I don't know. Anybody in there wears a mask. It's the management of distorting. Listen, the management of the store knows If they start doing that, If they start calling people out there going to go out, they're going to go elsewhere. "Kick things off and this may be more two minute drill as we go through the division in alphabetical order. Starting with the houston texans who find themselves listed at a robust twenty three to one to win the division their win total at fan duel. Sportsbook sits at four dollar twenty. Should you want to go under. It's amazing when you look at the houston texans overall profile just a year and a half ago. This very franchise headache. Twenty four seven lead over the kansas city chiefs in the playoffs. We were all talking about them. Maybe getting to the afc championship as cinderella. And here we are a franchise completely in shambles most likely without a franchise quarterback and really lacking direction When you look at the houston texans worse record against playoff teams last year owen. Ten and this is despite to shawn watson putting gaudy numbers but pain rather than breakdown. What the texans don't have on either the offense or defensive side of the ball. should we attacked a coaching. Hire david kelly takes over as the oldest first time head after twenty seven years of serving as an nfl assistant. I'm not really sure what's going on with the organization and we're seeing the market react in a strong manner. I mean this total has been blitzed from under five in this morning. You look some places. And it's four under minus twenty five so like three point eight five the win total here. So there isn't a lot of confidence in the texans. And you start to look at what this roster is and it's tough to find wins on the schedule with who they're going to be trotting out there. I mean we talked about to shawn watson. And how fantastic. He was over. The last five decades seven quarterbacks have had as good of a season as to sean had last year and they finished with a losing record. Only seven quarterbacks. In the history of this league have played as well as the shawn watson team finished with a losing record so an shawn watson texans last year. That was the worst record of any of those quarterbacks so it really just shows how talent void this roster is and somehow you mentioned the new regime bringing in an old coach in cali but the organization really doubled down on that approach and they've managed the impossible really of having the oldest roster in the nfl with below average cap space. It's not a good combination. And so you know you start to look at the four wins last year and how they achieved it and it was still an offense that was above average inefficiency thirteenth. And now you have this. Massive downgraded quarterback and i mean tyrod taylor is what he has. He's thirty two and the best attributes about him are his athleticism his quickness. How fast he is but at thirty two those of all those things and so this is just a monster downgrade. You do look at the schedule of defenses. That the texans will play its. It's bottom six overall and against the oh. There is some hope there. I guess defensively that is going to still be a problem. You're looking at a unit that finished thirtieth inefficiency. The schedule of offense is this year are going to be really good. Can be hovering around the top. Five rate in basically overall efficiency passing offense all of those key areas I i don't really know how this team's going to get to their win. Why sometimes you get a little down on the texans man but you do awesome work manso thank you thank you but no problem man. It shows But so. I listen. Man rooting for the texans to lose. I understand your frustration. But i don't think talk drastic. You know the gamble up be favorable. Gamble you know seeing that development and in just. It's not gonna do anything. Because what i liked seeing about an average team and why i would root for them and i understand that sounds kind of ridiculous but seven eight nine when t is a great foundation. Because you've got players in there that at least know how to win at that point in for next season. Ideally you know to over to you know. Get two more wins. You know to get you that ten. Now you're talking about a really successful team and if you got two or three wins next season you got a of players that are there. You know they're really not buying into it. That are that. The coaching that lovey smith and david coli was seventy years coaching experience. You know if they're pumping out players. That aren't really producing this culture competition. You know no one's gonna wanna watch that. 'cause it's going to be a disaster and i can see your point there but if all arguably if they're going to have a pro culture and they're gonna have this. This probe culture that they're going to do with players engineered to go after close wins and try to get to that next level. That's why i'm rooting off. You know let's have some competition. Let's have some close games and let's see if they can win them and so i'm a little optimistic on that level but i see where you're coming from. So that's all i got from you man and Keep working hard. They was the entire hiring process and they came out of it hiring their coach last and they hired a guy who has never been a coordinator. It's not all about being a have been plenty of successful coaches that have gone from a position coach role to a head coaching role and done well but he is a sixty five year old man. Who's been in. Football forever has never been a quarterback in the nfl or quarter coordinator at the nfl level has never interviewed for nfl head. Coaching jobs until this year. I do not believe that he is going to suddenly come in here and show that he was the guy that should be your head coach as jacobson earlier. I don't think that this guy last more than three years. I don't think he lasts more than two for me. It's don't i could see it being so bad that after a year. The texans go. We need to just go ahead and change the staff again. He could be one of those guys to i. Just don't have any belief in so. I think you're gonna lose. You might as well lose and be awful. I'll be rooting for that. And it sucks that. So I asked around to a couple former teammates in friends of mine that have maybe gotten the same procedure how the hell can something like this happens this sounds terrible in the answer I got from everybody who has had this procedure done, which by the way is marketing, which is in the Novacaine. There's another Cain the mark which is. A numbing agent basically that gets shot directly into the area that is injured for instance, in this particular case, the cracked ribs. Now, the reason why it's done. So close to game time is because it only lasts four four and a half hours so they can't get it done in the morning because the numbness wear off, they can't get it done the night before because. Off they have to do it right before the game, which is why it was surprised to everybody that air bear was starting over tyrod Taylor, including Air Bear, and I would assume the entire chargers offense. Now, what happens though just like whenever you're in surgery now granted this happened to the people I talked to harm percents short happened to tyrod Taylor but just like whenever you go in for surgery for anything, they tell you the possible side effects this could. Potentially happen because surgery this could potentially happen. It's like basically this small print at the bottom of contracts like, Hey, this is all the good looking come from this but also this can happen every person that I talked to got a similar treatment as this said that they were told by the doctor that there was a chance that along could get punctured in the process because when you're giving a shot into the ribs, the long obviously is right there one. A. Hundred percent sure of tyrod Taylor. Was told that before we got the shock. I'm just telling you what I was told by people who got very the exact same situation here free. The bruised ribs are cracked ribs allegedly this is a much more common practice than even I knew about I've probably seen guys potentially get this shop before and didn't even know this was happening because I had nothing to do with me but I guess this is a pretty Common practice whenever you have a crab or bruise rib because it works like a charm I was told and I was also told that they shoot it a little bit above wherever the crack or the bruises in. Let's just settling in for four and a half five hours. You feel amazing. It's that next day you see more that night when it wears off that you feel absolutely terrible thus why I am incredibly happy that I played a position where no motherfuckers. where I could potentially need that. So that is what happened. We obviously tease piece for the punctured lung and the cracked ribs for tyrod. Taylor but from my knowledge of my research calling people that got a similar thing, they said that they were told that was a possible outcome. It's like point one percent that it could happen. But in surgery just like anything in the medical field, there is obviously a chance at something bad to happen it happened tyrod Taylor. I'm not giving an excuse for the doctor do your fucking job right? Especially whenever the people that told me, they said it's like a ninety nine. percent chance it goes well and nothing happens. So if you get that one percent and it's a failure, obviously the doctor did not do here and I would assume would have to answer for that. But that is what I've been told about this entire process. That is why it was such a shock to everybody including air bear who said he was surprised in ancient said, let's go and do this. So I think that is why everything happened the way it is I've been told I'm not a doctor they are not doctors but a punctured lung on punctures itself somehow I don't know that means I guess.
