"Its two thousand twenty. One win totals on friday morning. Nfl win totals some interesting stuff here. First of all the houston texans. Saying five wins of the shawn. Watson doesn't play and who knows if you will. I like tyrod. Taylor's backup you think you're can win five games. They didn't win a lot of games last year with the shawn watson. I don't think so. I'll take the under on the texans and five wins the under arizona cardinals at eight wins..

"You had a baby. So if you're following on Twitter, whatever feel free to well, he didn't have the baby. Let me clarify. It wasn't sells baby. He didn't heat it in personally, but his wife So, you know, congratulations to sell his family and, uh, I hope everybody's happy and healthy. So I'm in for tonight. Um I am pregnant as well. Maybe actually. Yeah. So a couple of things I would get it too. Here is gross. Fo looks at me like I'm a complete idiot, which he's right. He's completely right. Theo is something that is interesting. Here is Nicolas. Ariel, Can you imagine being Nicolas Ariel? This guy is the GM of the Texans. What a hell storm to be in. I mean, what an absolutely terrible job. You have to go out right now in a franchise that isn't just bad, but is completely chaotic. In every way imaginable. I mean, you look at the Houston Texans. Do they have anything going for them? I mean, that's a serious question. Do they have anything going for them? What is the single positive? Chris Fo? Can you think of a single positive? Good thing you could say about the Texas they get to play the Jaguars twice. Okay? Yeah. Which might not be as easy as it used to be anymore. At least they have them on the schedule. Twice s. Oh, there's something there's a team that they might be able to be twice. Maybe, probably. Once. Yeah, may well see they could get swept by the Jags this year. Who knows, do they? They've got a lot of things that they could do, but You look at the Houston Texans. I mean, Jackie's to be and everything that's been written about him and the kind of guy that he is and how he got into power. Running the team. Whether or not he belongs, is a guy that's running the team. That's been a major topic of conversation. Not a good look. Not exactly over. This is the Golden boy, and he's you know the job Brady of executives or the Sean McVeigh of executives. It's like no, Who is this guy? He has no business in this job. He if your a game of Thrones fan he little fingered his way into the position, and now he's holding onto power by any means necessary. That's been the story so not good. Not exactly good. Not a dream job. Nick's Kiss Aereo is the GM that's hired by used to be when that happens. There's questions of like, okay. Is this guy actually calling the shots? Is he not? There was the whole scandal about the Texans recruiting him before they hired him is the general manager. So that was a mess last year. Now he's got the job and oh, by the way, once he gets the job well to Sean Watson's got a billion different cases for sexual assault. And who knows what happens with his career? Is he back this year? Does he ever play again? Like Honestly, you have no idea everything is completely up in the air with him in the worst degree imaginable, so As all of these things are starting to come together and your neck Assyria. You're looking around you going? Oh, we've got some trouble here. And so they asked the stereo about Tyrod Taylor and signing on Friday, and he tells you a lot of things that makes sense, right? It's he's familiar with some of the coaches. He gets, what kind of offensive system they're going to run. And that's why they brought him in. But the thing that really stands out is he's a guy that you can start this year. Who deserves some opportunity to start. I mean, think about this, too. For Tyrod Taylor. For him. He's the one guy that's getting something good out of this. Sarah Taylor is terrible luck. I mean this guy he lost his job last year. At the start of the season for the For the Chargers. Do you remember? This is just crazy. He got stabbed in the lung by a team doctor. A team doctor stabbed the man in the lungs. Before the game Like I have hour before the game. And suddenly he's got to go to the hospital. Suddenly he's giving up his job to the rookie that they took out the top of the first round. And Oh, it's Justin Herbert. He's amazing. So there goes Tyrod Taylor's job Did he deserve to lose his job? No, he accidentally trusted the team doctor to not stab him in the lung. So that goes south. Well, now he's got a good opportunity. So I'm happy for Tyrod Taylor. Good for him like that zone ice little thing for him, but You look around at the Texans now and you go. Okay, Odds are Tyrod Taylor is going to be the starter. They signed him in March. You gotta figure Texans had a whiff of what was going on with Watson by that point, and they signed him knowing that he's the In house contingency plan that you can trust the start so good move by them. Here's the thing, though, that I'm I got to tell you like Very fascinating to me. Looking at the draft for the Texans, okay? Do they draft a quarterback? What round? Do they draft a quarterback? You got to at this point, right? Because it's a weird thing. They don't have a first round pick. So it's not like Oh my God. Do the Texans go and get Justin Fields or Mack Jones or like whatever they have no chance of any of that, because they've blown it with all sorts of trades and ridiculous things. So the Dolphins had their pick and ain't happening, but If you're the Texans. Where they drafted quarterback could say something right? Like if they get a good project guy with high upside the third round, and that's their first pick in the draft. You go. Oh, this thing is not good. So, looking at the draft, they've got a third round pick 1/4 round Pick two fives. Couple of six is 1/7 rounder. Maybe they move up and around. If they like a guy, it's just one of those things that when you're trying to gauge the situation when you're trying to think how bad is this? From the Texans standpoint, like internally as they're looking at the Watson situation, which, by the way, like here's how crazy and insane the whole thing is. There was a case that was dropped against Watson this week. Right? So it goes from 22 cases down to 21. You might go. Okay. Well, this is some level of progress. Yeah, And then a new case shows up and he's back to 22. So it's a mess right? And who knows where the number's gonna be At the end of this? It's just It's like gremlins at this point, like they just keep multiplying the number of cases so For Shawn Watson. And for the Texans, you got to go. Okay. On some level, it would be the responsible thing to draft a quarterback and give you a developmental option. And And in this case, you draft a guy in the middle rounds. You let him sit behind Tyrod Taylor. There's no pressure for this kid to start. If that Shawn Watson comes back. Well, hey, I mean, we just drive to this kid in 1/4 round. It's not a major loss. You know what I mean? Like theirs. Is a really good argument to be made for the Texans drafting a quarterback in mill the draft, so we'll see where that goes. But it's something to keep an eye on here, as all of this progress is so if you want to get in 855212 4 to 27 and tell you join the show will come to you live from the rocket.

A Chat with the CEO about the CRA's role in the COVID-19 response

"Ahmad. Welcome to around the room. Thank you thank you for having me. So ahmad within about two weeks of the sierra annual meeting the world essentially shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak at the beginning of the pandemic what were the initial challenges facing the sierra. A great question because we've been been monitoring the situation right before they osama and trying to communicate with the members in advance just to make sure that would ready for whatever might hit us and we were so lucky that it just missed us. Few days i would say But the main challenges were surrounding the attention span and the changing needs of our members they were instantly from the traditional optimal care practice management to a different level of practice management. Tyrod virtual care. I do. I do advocate for you. Know billing and there's there's all sort of new problems that of surfaced. We've kind of had those problems before. But they were very minor on the scale and suddenly they were the top three parties. Now that we have to deal with so there was a bit of a that kind of moment where you have to think about. What do we do. Who do we tap into. Because there aren't many experts in that field absolutely and and i'm curious to get even deeper into that. How did you actually pivot the organization from whatever your annual plan was to suddenly all resources and all hands on deck had to be working on the covid aspects of rheumatology in canada. How did you actually functional is that we're so lucky to have such an engaged membership about a third of our members are involved somehow with the sierra More than just attending a conference. I would say and that kind of gives us sort of a concert finger on the pulse in terms of what we can't what we should do and Sort of leadership one on one in crisis. What leaders to do is communicate. Communicate communicate so what we started with is first right off. The bat is started with communication and open up those channels of communication so we created the president's update the weekly update and that seemed to have been more very well received and we started creating opportunities for dialogue. We when we kind of needs assessment. And i'm surprised. How while responded to those needs assessments. Were but that was the basis basically of all our action is is listen communicate. Listen and respond as quickly as possible so so those were kind of the the issues that you're facing as a leader of the sierra and wondering personally what were some of the biggest challenges you you personally faced adjusting the reality that the kids are going to be at home all day long. I mean we're virtual organization and we did not really have a lot of business. Continuity issues like mini associations had to struggle. We don't have a bricks and mortar. We don't have an office. Mike commute consists of walking. Down from my. You know bedroom to the basement. So that wasn't an issue per se that having to go to office for gold going to office but the the idea that you know the kids are home all day long. you know. It's me and my spouse both was had to deal with that situation and you know it's also making me. My kids are young. They had to understand that when daddy's in the room and rooms closed and you could hear some sort of a conversation going on you just don't barge in. That was at the beginning though after a while. I think people are now sort of immune to these things. We've seen people on cnn where people are just walking in the back and actually this is some of the positive side you know side effects of the pandemic that these conversations and at least the video chat become a bit more human mean. You don't have to be polished so yeah. I think those are

Chris Harrison 'stepping aside' from 'The Bachelor' after controversial interview

"The bachelor is now looking for a permanent replacement to chris harrison to host the show exclusive. You're not gonna hear this anywhere else so. Chris temporarily stepped down from the show or so he thinks but insiders tell me he might never come back. Get this sifford. At weird's is well. I've got a really good explanation for it so source ocal remember tom bergeron and dancing with the stars before the racist incident. Abc had decided that chris was a little tarnish that had been on the show for over a decade. Another white gentleman on tv. Times have changed so they will already looking for somebody younger. Maybe a person of color maybe a female they were looking for options for a potential new hosts they did. They did this to tom. Tom did not know this was coming. So basically they're looking for another tyra banks now. I know tyrus controversial on on this show. We really debated tyra. I worked for tyra. So i know her but it took me a moment to love on dancing with the stars. But you can't deny there's a lot more birds on dancing with the stars and the ratings which is really old aka robots. The rates have gone up so looking for a tire type. You some of the names that have been bouncing around the halls at is tyrod is tara. Banks should be. But i think she's got a handful on dancing with the stars but it is it. Abc show so she could do these names. I'm hearing chrissy. Teigen is somebody they really like. I think christie has a relationship with nbc. So that's tricky. Another name on hearing within the abc family is antony and discern. I love him. Always a lot of fart ria from blache i mean but but he too like didn't he have some type of scandal back in there was something there. I don't remember it off the top of my head by get see that being assured trusting another name too and they love him. Abc michael stray ham. They really love him and he certainly charismatic. And when you think love. I could see him not as the bachelor is not handing roses but he's a trick host and get this. This names are very interesting. Name rachel lindsay i. She was the very first. In fact. I think the only other black bachelorette and she's the one who spoke to chris who interviewed chris. And that's where this whole controversy started now. Rachel says she's done with this. She's done with the franchise. She has a couple of more events to do and then she's contractually free of them and she wants to move on but that was before her name popped up to replace him of course.

What to expect from the media and streaming world at CES 2021

"Wonder woman nine hundred. Four headaches bill max at the same time as theaters on christmas day big change the status quo streaming. We'll hear more about the seismic shift to see us. So let's break down what we expect. Roger chang and this is your daily charge with me to discuss this. Is our media expert johnson. Welcome joan tyrod. So what are you expecting a from this very special very remote and virtual ceus very special. Cs indeed media has always had a big presence at cbs. It's kind of felt like a satellite separate. See us in a way. There'd be this huge confab media. Movers and shakers they all sort of congregate at the area. So it's sep. It's physically separate from from where the show floors are and it felt kind of like its own conference in and of itself. It's grown over the years but of course like everything else would see this year. It's going to be completely different. Virtual and a lot of the reason that people go meet people media marketing go to see us is because it gives you that opportunity at the beginning of the year. Everyone's going to be there. You can have meetings. You can try to broker the deals that you haven't been able didn't weren't able to get to get to blast year you can start strategizing stuff for the next year and so because we're not physically the same place and none of that's going to happen. We are gonna have is still going to have some media executives coming to see talking on panels. There's going to be an attempt at recreating a party. Virtually we'll see how that goes. But the main highlight the big person that's going to be talking is going to be an sarnoff who is essentially the head of warner brothers. Studios and warner brothers is of course the studio that made a lot of people in hollywood go postal for their planned to release all their movies on. Hbo max over this year yeah. Let's let's talk about that one woman. Nineteen eighty four. It was a big coup for consumers who already had. Hbo match what they figured out that they had hbo. Max the able to stream it right away and christmas day but it didn't it. Obviously we talked about this earlier. It definitely annoyed angered a number of folks in hollywood. I'm curious if you think we're going to get any more feedback or any more commentary around that from radio. That's certainly what people are most interested in hearing since wonder woman nineteen four was released this way Basically it was the first sitting of this hybrid the so called hybrid strategy of releasing warner brothers. New movies online and in theaters at the same time for a month. And then those movies come off of. Hbo max and from all indications it the strategy did really really well for wonder woman you know it had sixteen point seven million at the us box office. Its first weekend which is the best that any film has done. Post pandemic in the us by far Of course it's it's a fraction of what would happen in normal times with these are normal times and so that's why that's why it's also it also was on. Hbo maxine hbo's max's traffic. You know we don't have a lot of data to go out about how popular it was. Hbo max has said that viewing hours. The day that one woman nineteen eighty-four was released on max tripled compared to a typical day. The pre the previous month so by all indications this strategies first attempt was successful. What we don't know is whether or not the initial rancour from hollywood insiders about this plan whether that success has placated anger. Or if warner brothers is going to need to make changes to placate some of those hollywood movers and shakers so that it doesn't completely shred it's relationships with big name directors with stars. That are that are disappointed in how things going on. I don't know if they're actually going to talk about that. But that's certainly what people want to know. Yeah there's clearly love anticipation for that. I magic actually. The the media side of us would somewhat benefit from the remote nature of the show because the show is traditionally have been all about big gadgets. Tv's appliances things that you want to physically be at the show for two to touch and to get hands on time with with media a lot of it is is discussing about what's going dentistry showing off trailers stuff that you don't actually physically need to be there for. Do you think that that that aspect of it might i guess. Bolster the media's role in this year now even s every other time see. cs has been a physical event. People that go to the media focused element of they. Don't even go to the show floor. Like i don't know how many times i've talked to people at what zona see space which is kind of the general term for the location in the area where the media focused. The stuff is happening. Anytime i asked him have actually gone to the show floor. I don't think i've ever heard anybody that said. Oh yeah yeah yeah. I checked it out. Sometimes you'll be like. Oh maybe at the end when i there's some time at the end before i fly out. I might go over there and see what's still happening but people in media. Don't go go to to try out physical gadgets and see things in person they go there to see each other in person and so the fact that this is a virtual festival just means that not. As many people have an impetus to participate. Because most of the impetus is to go there and see people and interact with them. Yeah and get get deals.

What the Patriots can learn from the BIlls' QB strategy

"Talk About That quarterback position because I think you know alot of patriot sales again, and I keep saying this but they don't like it when we point out at the bills rebuilding strategy is working in that the Patriots could learn something from Buffalo. So what are we going to learn from Buffalo? You know, they haven't won anything in twenty years, right? It's like no no, no. No, this is a great case study by Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott M how to put a Young quarterback in the perfect situation to succeed. Especially Young quarterback and Josh Allen who let's face. It was a high ceiling, you know, low floor type of prospect at very high bus potential if it didn't go to the right direction in Buffalo. So I looked at back at that 2018 draft. They actually traded up twice for Josh Allen's pick at seventh overall from Twenty-One wage. Because they made that playoffs or Tyrod Taylor, right? Was that the year? Yeah, so they made the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor Sweet in as a wild-card team. Then they were picking 21st. They traded up from 21 to 12 and then 12 to sneak in to get their guide Josh Allen, but I actually think more so and we can talk a little bit about Allen's development to more so than Allen's individual development. Would McDermott and being did to you know, make sure the offensive line to add Cole Beasley and Stephon Diggs and put Josh Allen in this perfect kind of offense for his skill-set with Brian table. That's really I think as much about what we've seen from Josh Allen's growth is anything in that sort of speaks to the team building process of the whole thing.

Philadelphia 76ers agree to trade Josh Richardson to Dallas Mavericks for Seth Curry, per report

"Today. Just now josh. Richardson was traded by the sixers to the mavericks at a thirty six. Pick with richardson for sets cari and richardson's kind of one of those guys that just happened now according to coach and you know an elder reporters but The tyrod terry moves into this at curry spot into the south carolina. Spot right into but richardson is one of those types of guys. That were sort of talking about here right. I mean like. I think you would want knee smith to grow into that type of role and hopefully get better on defense. Maybe not a guy who was handling a lot for you but can here and there That that would be the long term goal for him. But i'm not so sure that the ball handling ability is there but if it is it's never going to be at a high level he's always going to be a shooter for you and if he can shoot a heck of a lot better than richardson. While being good on defense. That'd be a really nice player but there's a lot of questions though.

Tyra Banks angers 'Dancing With the Stars' audience with error

"Tyra banks had a meltdown backstage at. With the stars. So on Monday there was a mishap and to to people that should be in the bottom up for elimination were not the right to people live on TV tyra cold at the wrong names it got very confusing because there were alive she had to ad Lib it was a little awkward although I think she did a pretty much A. A good job fans were upset on social media tire went onto blame the control room and she also blamed her cue odds for the little bit of that upset that Miss Hab eventually she apologized once again saying it was live. TV show us that a little bit as an excuse. I, don't mind this stuff. I think it makes it more exciting however. TYRA, she was not laughing sources. Tell me at the sto show when she got backstage she was furious very angry. She wasn't mean and nasty. She wasn't throwing things but she's the boss, she not just the host she's the executive producer. This is her show. It is embarrassing. It happened on her watch. Let's be honest. She's a new host. This has never happened before. So now a lot of people are saying, maybe it's tyrod that should get eliminated where are you on this on a? So I get, it is embarrassing. It is a little awkward but as someone who's been a producer and a host, I'm just GONNA. Let ever no right now you're not making any friends in the control room by blaming them. Yes. Producers Make Mistakes I've made mistakes but we've also made you shine so many times without the thank yous and without everything then the one time something goes wrong you go out there and make sure it's known that we messed up. It's not a good look for her.

"The Los Angeles Chargers now their team doctor. Accidentally want a puncturing quarterback Tyrod Taylor is lung. You guys see what I just said? The team doctor accidentally punctured Tyrod Taylor is long just before kickoff On Sunday. They're trying to administer a pain killing injection to his cracked ribs. That's according to Anthony Lynn, and we're going to hear from him in a second, but that's why he didn't start Sunday. And Justin Herbert came out there Look great, Really. He almost beat Mahomes and the Chiefs. But anyway, let's go to Anthony Lynn right now hear his comments about a team doctor, inflicting the damage on some quarterback. I'm not angry at all That happens, You know, Like I said, I can't go into details about it, but it was a complication with shot and you know no one's perfect. Don't think anyone in this zone is perfect, so it happens. But the doctor was a good man It'sjust unfortunate for that's Anthony Lynn there so now that I like Anthony lent by the way, just for the record that's for for over nine hours have been a little tough deal, though. Guys, it's a tough deal, and it puts him in a really tough situation like he's got a Defend kind of all parties involved, and through it all, he's not a boy. He's a better man than me. I'd be very upset. By the way. Justin Herbert will start again Sunday against Carolina

"Quarterback tyrod Taylor dealing with a punctured Lung Adam. How did this happen? What happened was on Sunday Laura there was a great deal mystery as to why Justin Herbert started a game that nobody expected into start and what happened is that tyrod Taylor was dealing with cracked ribs to crack Ridley suffered in the opening week against the Bengals the chargers doctors gave me pain killer injection to numb the area right before the game and one of the doctors. Punctured. tyrod Taylor's loan. He had trouble breathing on the sideline. He went to the hospital that night doctors recommended that he shouldn't play this week. He couldn't play this week, and so he's dealing with a lung injury that he's recovering from. He's dealing with cracked ribs that he's recovering from an a short time ago Anthony Lynn made it official and said that Justin Herbert will start this week and it is a start that Herbert will know about in advance unlike last week's NFL debut.

AP Source: Chargers' team doctor punctured Taylor's lung

"Adam, Schefter just reported that tyrod Taylor. The reason why he did not get to play this past week in an intern air bear started for the first time against Kansas City chiefs at ended with hitting a fifty eight yard field goals and another fifty eight yard field goal. But a highly contested matchup between the chargers the chiefs it is now being reported that the chargers team doctor accidentally punctured his own quarterback tyrod Taylor's lung just before kick-off. Sunday while trying to administer a painkilling injection to the quarterbacks cracked ribs league and team sources have told ESPN. According to my sources. Adam Schefter says, now, this sounds terrible whenever you give your I read this and like especially the way she afterward it there the chargers team doctor punctured his own quarterbacks lungs, and that sounds absolutely bad and I was kind of mind blown by this believe it or not. We are given a heads up on this yesterday but we're not a big news breaking world I don't want to dive into the news breaking world because there's a bunch of Peron in sharks in. Going ever dive in there. So I asked around to a couple former teammates in friends of mine that have maybe gotten the same procedure how the hell can something like this happens this sounds terrible in the answer I got from everybody who has had this procedure done, which by the way is marketing, which is in the Novacaine. There's another Cain the mark which is. A numbing agent basically that gets shot directly into the area that is injured for instance, in this particular case, the cracked ribs. Now, the reason why it's done. So close to game time is because it only lasts four four and a half hours so they can't get it done in the morning because the numbness wear off, they can't get it done the night before because. Off they have to do it right before the game, which is why it was surprised to everybody that air bear was starting over tyrod Taylor, including Air Bear, and I would assume the entire chargers offense. Now, what happens though just like whenever you're in surgery now granted this happened to the people I talked to harm percents short happened to tyrod Taylor but just like whenever you go in for surgery for anything, they tell you the possible side effects this could. Potentially happen because surgery this could potentially happen. It's like basically this small print at the bottom of contracts like, Hey, this is all the good looking come from this but also this can happen every person that I talked to got a similar treatment as this said that they were told by the doctor that there was a chance that along could get punctured in the process because when you're giving a shot into the ribs, the long obviously is right there one. A. Hundred percent sure of tyrod Taylor. Was told that before we got the shock. I'm just telling you what I was told by people who got very the exact same situation here free. The bruised ribs are cracked ribs allegedly this is a much more common practice than even I knew about I've probably seen guys potentially get this shop before and didn't even know this was happening because I had nothing to do with me but I guess this is a pretty Common practice whenever you have a crab or bruise rib because it works like a charm I was told and I was also told that they shoot it a little bit above wherever the crack or the bruises in. Let's just settling in for four and a half five hours. You feel amazing. It's that next day you see more that night when it wears off that you feel absolutely terrible thus why I am incredibly happy that I played a position where no motherfuckers. where I could potentially need that. So that is what happened. We obviously tease piece for the punctured lung and the cracked ribs for tyrod. Taylor but from my knowledge of my research calling people that got a similar thing, they said that they were told that was a possible outcome. It's like point one percent that it could happen. But in surgery just like anything in the medical field, there is obviously a chance at something bad to happen it happened tyrod Taylor. I'm not giving an excuse for the doctor do your fucking job right? Especially whenever the people that told me, they said it's like a ninety nine. percent chance it goes well and nothing happens. So if you get that one percent and it's a failure, obviously the doctor did not do here and I would assume would have to answer for that. But that is what I've been told about this entire process. That is why it was such a shock to everybody including air bear who said he was surprised in ancient said, let's go and do this. So I think that is why everything happened the way it is I've been told I'm not a doctor they are not doctors but a punctured lung on punctures itself somehow I don't know that means I guess. Shout out to the human body for puncturing itself. He could play week to week is really could potentially play next week. What do you say day breaking news just from in report he's not GonNa play this week harbored is going to start. Okay. So here we go. There's big news not playing this week. So as long isn't completely on punctured and also. I think that is why because the way one down in him losing the starting job was actually the chargers fault that is why Anthony Lynn came out and said unless. tyrod is he's still are started because I would assume Anthony Len former player was like we gotta fuck this guy here. So whenever he was asked about who's the starter even after incredible debut by Air Bear in the game that they had against the Super Bowl Champs Anthony Lynn probably was. I mean, we couldn't say it obviously because worn one hundred percent. Sure because at the time they're probably still reviewing and Anthony Lane. Prada. Didn't get a chance to do a full checkup on house whatever the case maybe didn't and he didn't want to be like. tyrod Taylor's by the way. We're the reason he's out and he is we made this disease like they. Couldn't say that. So that's why I think I was confused by the way insulin handled the question I think a lot of people are potentially confused but now we know air bear starting this weekend tyrod Taylor not only has cracked ribs but also punctured lung hopefully that unpunctual quickly we're not doctors they have no idea but it is nice to know that this type of thing does happen has happened in the past we probably. Haven't heard about it for whatever reason, and this is something that happens on a regular basis with success. So it's not like they were going above and beyond to make him put him on the field. This is something that has happened in the past

The top waiver-wire pickups for Week 3 of fantasy football

"Tap waiver wire picked for me this week. Is going to be 40 Niners runningback Jerick. McKinnon makes sense. McKinnon is available currently in 73% of ESPN League, so widely available and with the most injury, coupled With Kevin Coleman also being gone for a couple of weeks. This seems like an opportunity for the big free agent signing for Kyle Shanahan Step up and have Ah productive week and at least for a couple of weeks. I think he's the at least for this week. I think he's definitely the best ad long term. Maybe not because most it will return. So if you're just looking for help for this week, maybe a couple of weeks. Jerick. McKinnon is your best bet this week on the planet Jets, other playing A. Who cares? The Giants there. Still, I stayed in New York and you look the Giants Steelers. The Bears have run the ball on the Giants, and they stayed in New York. They're playing the Giants, so I would think that that's they're going to try to ground and pound. This is saline advice is always from the update and grapple is positive, right? Like they think he's gonna play? Yes, Okay again, though, it's it's obviously Tuesday, so it's hard to say anything definitively. But my cannon is the top waiver wire pick up, especially If you're hurting at running back, and if you have sake one if he had most, sir, if you had McCaffrey, and now you're starting to Sergio. Look, Yorgos got to start Jamal Williams from crying out. I got Jamal waves in my story. You might be hitting your waiver wire to pick up Jack Kennedy on the can, For sure, he's gone in one of my All right. Who else? Hide Let me fire Rams running back. Donald Henderson was highly drafted. You have Malcolm Brown, who left last week's game with a finger injury, along with Who's the other Ocampa and left with a rib injury as well. So Darnell Henderson stepped in. I think I believe you had 80 total yards from scrimmage. So Donald Henderson is my second ad. He is available in 54% of leagues. 50 44. That's good Darnell game this week. Rams and Bill's about it to Owen omits to know that those of a good man, that's an exciting game. This's now I'll give you a couple of guys right here. One's more of a long term play. The other is going to be a better bet. Immediately, but probably not for the long term. Joshua Kelly, Los Angeles Chargers, he is it looks like he has stepped right into the Melvin Gordon roll from last season. Austin Heckler obviously, is the main running back that you want with the Chargers. Things were better. With Justin Herbert under center. It's undeniable. Tyrod Taylor comes back. I'm I'm not nearly as enthused, but I have a hard time believing Anthony Lynn is just going to give the ball back to Tyrod Taylor. If Justin Herbert continues to be productive, why

Los Angeles Chargers make surprise QB change, start Justin Herbert over Tyrod Taylor vs. Kansas City Chiefs

"Was going to have a concussion after that hit on the sidelines. Just Herbert's 14 years old so he can. He could just rub it on. Rub some dirt on it. Get back in the game, you imagine? I mean, that kid found out during pre game he was going to get the start. It was funny because Anthony Lynn after the game, said he didn't believe me when I told him He had to tell him a handful of times. No, seriously. You are the starting quarterback today. "So nice to see you again interior. It's been a long while I o spend the two years since I left new. York At, busy. So Nice to be you. I will say that I was like, what am I gonNa say I like you from that? I was like Oh everything. You've done is like one of the things that I love the most? Well, I was GONNA. Say. So you recently started a podcast it's called busy Phillips is doing her best showing Thira is a huge part of that podcast. It's very and yeah. So you interview celebrities and people of note, and just talk about how people are pivoting and doing their best. At it is very timely to now you started this podcast before. Well, I feel like we sold it almost a year ago with October of last year you know basically we had a whole idea for a new way of doing things and making stuff and we were working on this really big projects that had a lot of moving parts and we had like our big meeting with all of these money people in New York that was scheduled for March sixteenth. how and that was that you know, and so I we. Timing. Yeah. You know whatever we're I feel very blessed in my life to be a person that's able to have perspective and self-awareness and Ceantierre and I have been talking a little bit during that time also just like we've kept in touch since busy tonight and I always just loved like are writer's room and busy tonight was really small is only three writers which for those of you at home that's slowly insane. Very. Small I think we had more writers doing ashby another. For. Clear they were being paid less. Absolutely. No one was making a ton of money. Why it was so confusing that they cancel because I was like is this show is free. Just crazy. The shoe string that we were managing to do that. You know I feel like was a really successful show at the. But nobody uses the term like indie talkshow nobody that but it really wasn't indeed talk show that's like. We. Los Angeles Chargers safety Derwin James expected to miss 2020 season after knee injury, per reports

"The Los Angeles chargers. Yeah we mentioned. Like the the injuries like Nick, for instance it. Bradley. Chubb is such a mystery right now, there's more mysterious injury situations around the league than I think we know there's less reporting, but Derwin James is injury on Sunday. We know know the extent to it but I know that it's the most caught or I think it's the most costly time injury that there's been since camp started. Because I think he brings out the best in the coaching staff getting to be more creative. This is a bad defense with a lot of talent last year they weren't in the top twenty most efficient defenses. A lot of good players. Yeah. No they didn't have Derwin James, but that's pretty disappointed. He unlocks the cornerbacks you know he he unlocks his tactic partner ratio Jenkins who played really well. I just think he's such a unique special talent losing James is devastating for this defense in it's GonNa put a little more pressure on their offense in tyrod the score some points because I don't think you can count on them being top five upside defense when Derwin James is not on the phone I don't like that term more pressure on tyrod Taylor to Scorpions I know that everyone is fascinated with tyrod Taylor right now it's plain out and it's not fair to him, but it's almost. I think it's like a little bit of the hard knocks after I know. I, mean, it's just that's what happened in Cleveland what a leader what a guy and I think he is, and I think the coaching staff really loves Anthony. Lynn loves tyrod Taylor the person in wants Tim to be functional but the problem is tyrod. Taylor stops being fun about three weeks from now and then you got a rookie quarterback that when. Coaching them. He did he had some moments to be fair when he was in Buffalo In Buffalo yes. Not In Cleveland and I just think that there was I don't know come on. I, mean Austin to me is the centerpiece on that offense I believe in until the end but they're wide receiver right now back he's not but look at their wide receiver position. So what how do you WanNa talk about scaring the defense with a mobile quarterback, but they can't do anything they had said they're gonNA. They're immobilizing how how versatile they can be through the air. I think it's a rough place for Justin. Herbert. To get starts early to I, don't like that at all.

Tyra Banks to host 'Dancing with the Stars'

"Let's move on tyra banks, who is head into the ballroom? ABC announced she's joining dancing with the stars, not only as the new host, but also an executive producer. This news comes just one day after it was revealed Tom Birger on Erin Andrews are leaving, so the show can head in a new creative direction. What do you guys think? Is tyrod thick? Love it I mean. Do you remember the storytelling on America's next top model? The you remember tire being extra extra on top of extra on. I think the TYRA banks, not only as a host will should be good, but as a producer. She has a Rolodex that has spanned it over thirty years in the business. She can get some real names in here. You WanNa see ya shields on that floor. You Wanna go ahead and see Cindy Crawford like she can call those people up. Brilliant leading lady, she's a very in-command. To to change this show a little bit. They need that little bit of spice on the side. Right so Tara. Who Do you think it would be a good house or that? Someone extra? Coming weeks than anybody. She will. He doesn't think that she'll. She'll work with anyone or have a co host. I. Don't think she would I think I. Think for her Sheep Command so much money and she doesn't need a coast. She's extra alone and she can handle it, but she has to have one Naomi Campbell because she disagreed with her. Okay all right, the guy that'll be hated, but I think my favorite dancer of all time as Lindsay Lohan in Las Club, so I think having tire eighty percent of the time Lindsay, twenty percent of the time and we've got. We've got a brilliant.

One of the Boston Area's Latino Immigrant Cities Is the Epicenter of the COVID-19 Crisis in Massachusetts

"I I. You know I'm a journalist. I cover a lot of national issues but I'm also you know house live in the Boston Metro area on the south side of the city. You're up on the north side. Chelsea is the for me for a lot of laughing. Estonians Lead Latino Immigrants Section of Metro Boston in a lot of ways I looking at the statistics and seeing happening Can you explain the situation to people that don't under? You know our our our listening to this. The first time outside of Boston and put it into the context. Because I it's the numbers are just startling. They are they are really got it all and unfortunately for those folks who are joining to me and Chelsea a one point eight Square Mile Community. And as you stated it's done in that community that is just north of Boston and he had been an officially declared as having the worst outweighs a whole the nineteen cases the entire state so the numbers that we're looking at is as of the site and again the information. It's teaching still constantly by the time that speaking. I'm pretty sure he's number. Got Even higher but as a black knight part infections late is that a hundred and six per every ten thousand and the so and just to put that into perspective. The member I mentioned we're one eight hundred blasting. The are the second third largest city in the state to just imagine coupling the fact that we have working families that are living in apartments just up to fifteen people in three bedrooms treatment and on top of that we have families that in the fast economic signs have to three jobs just to make an and one of those jobs are either virtually gone so the folks are unemployed and on and on the other end of the also have other guys it in fourteen essential employees. These are folks who are in the front lines. They are working at Dunkin donuts. They're looking at market basket. Starch working at the services area so you have for that are essential workers who it's impossible for them to physically defense and the people that are trying to ask everyone to follow but you follow the physical distance so they stack you You can find it the and then you have other fault somehow completely knocked your job no income and on top of that you know we have been for. Decades has experienced environmental injustice shoes So wearing industrial city that has a high volume of chuck traffic and We're have coastal cities in the air force. So you couple of all of this and later on off and you have the perfect time for a five thousand of of this Epidemic what are your constituents saying. What are you hearing the story before because I do? WanNa talk about the state response in the federal response but I also wanted here with the voices of the community of the same cause. I do feel like for me being here in Boston. You know covering what's happening in the Boston area. I'm not hearing those voices. So what are those voices telling you? And what can you share? Because I think that's the numbers that you reach like those comparible your city. I mean this is I. Just. I'm just. It's mind boggling to think about this so sure from what you're telling you first before we get into sort of the response so let's see now the the experience there's been fighting there's a lot of exciting from my residents. I cannot tell you how many folks call me and me and to me. Facebook packages telling me of how they have been confirmed with survivor. They have been unemployed for over a year. I'm sorry for over a month. They've been unemployed for over a month. They have confirmed that the case they do not have any money to go shopping even before John for their children. She has no idea how they're going to get money. And that's one of the biggest concerns here you know. And not and not only my family's on the ensuing destroy them the trauma and shrimp farm our dispatchers who are taking these calls and taking these cases are also go into emotional breakdown when they hear The Need for money for the The the need for some families can't see them doing their chiefs. Get Emergencies Actors. They their kids. Which is true of freight is only out and spreading the virus. So again like it's heartbreaking and doing the best that we check on our end but we need more veteran wild and the city is under voluntary. Twenty four seven lockdown right now. Is that correct? That's our people Our understanding the the I mean are people you know following it or I mean I I feel Zaidi and then getting that. It's kind of like Whoa. I mean I feel like bishop happens like it literally happened. You know and you know people are falling Massachusetts. Although I think you're right I think when you have more people that are essential workers that are working in industries. That are feeding us in our. You know doing other things and taking public transportation and coming back to dense population. All the ingredients were there and it seemed like no one you know. We shouldn't have been surprised as as people in Boston that this is. What's happening People now you know I I think taking it seriously put tyrod or their language issues. Are Their immigration. Now is like what what did give me a more of a picture because I know there's a response. I never thought about the response that I I also think people don't understand can there? Yeah you know. There's y'all yeah people Boston. So a little bit more the for their cellular energy so and then you go back to that The leasing why city manager trump and see no decided. She's making twenty four seven because don't WanNa be political. Be and fog maybe blowing up all their population right. So that's one of the key things right so I know that other things they're doing is that they see waking the curfew. They are giving them a ticket for two hundred dollars is. Here's the penalty for chased. But again you're getting community that is real incomes who barely has money to afford luxuries is they're out of their jobs for listing want. It should be picketing folks three hundred dollars penalty for being outside and not falling curfew hours. So what we're focusing on is coming in. He emphasizing that and and I thank you for stage to continue this important dialogue which is getting very serious and as much as we are. Afraid to be alarming. The numbers are alarming. People are dying I last night because nothing that and we want that number to stop but he then you know my mom personally. She's a factory worker. My mom works. I think we'll hop factory and she has to go to work every day. Actually thirty in and you know she. One example of the other example appear in in Chelsea family has to choose between. You might go to work so I can get money and food on the table and and save a little bit team. Nice Munch or stay and a lot of folks who have to work as mentioned the happy. The public transportation is virtually honestly suitable to be physically spent in the

Where Will Cam Newton Land?

"Another quarterback that's out there that hasn't found a home that I'm surprised by that the charge and go get is gather your teammates with cam Newton how do you feel about what it will what do you think I think cam Newton is about to really dominate somewhere but it seems like there's potentially no suitors for the guy what the hell's going on there I I think it's a bad timing thing right like there you know if everybody would know that cam Newton was going to be a free agent when they ought when the market opened up I think he's gone first day right but the fact that nobody knew Caroline was like always will be our quarterback and then on a random Tuesday they signed teddy Bridgewater like the second day of the trip three eighty is the advice I woke now next you know can't do you go see a trade war everybody knows there's no trade value because it I won't give up anything that you know you're not gonna keep both these guys we know you're going to release them in another week and now everybody's on their quarterback we know that Miami wants to go young they're going to draft charges they're definitely going to draft a quarterback and they have Tyrod Taylor to stand going to be so where's the fit like you will need the quarterback Cincinnati has any dog just sitting over there but we all know they're going take Joe burrow so what is the fifth I'm looking forward to a camp going to do I think this is uncomfortable position for camp but I think just like camp done is every every part of his life he's always just kind of figured it out and became it became a star just like everything else and I think at some point he's probably going to maybe have to take up a role as a backup guy like Taney deal did knowing that Hey I'm coming here to compete and eventually it which is going to take a really strong locker room hi who's going to be able to take take a lot more more we can't Nunez like possible that backup quarterback waiting right yeah like who's gonna be the star quarterback that's comfortable with that right that's another conversation yeah because you got the quarterbacks wide will get more interview opportunities and is going dressed better than the starting quarterback is gonna be bigger stronger on all these other things like that's a really tough spot to be fourteen to bring in somebody as well so I think that's also playing a part of it is well is that how can we take this on and not looking still look like we're confident in the guy that we have but we're gonna bring in cam Newton anyway and this is not Camdenton is nothing like Tim TiVo I intend to vote there's nothing like Colin Kaepernick but this is the conversation that was happening about all the your backup quarterback came a massive distraction for your team because the quarterback room the quarterback position is a big deal if you have somebody in a room that's a distraction to your team whether it's tam calling then candidate might say because he's a massive personality and very good at football we go to football having that'll be a potential distraction he could see how teams would be like at we're not we're not we can't put ourselves in that

"Shorts and being. The come to the territory. Signed up for it. I'm living my dream and I wouldn't have it any other way, you know, without fresh you. I don't think this would be very much fun without you. The people watching finding joy in this game. I love this game without the competitive nature. I wouldn't enjoy it. Well, it's good to hear that from Baker, but Shannon deal like how Hugh Jackson is handling the situation. Okay, that Baker didn't start week one. They should have been to a no tyrod Taylor was not the feel go kicker. Tyrod didn't miss to tyrod, didn't miss three field goals with that with that. That being said, tyrod probably held off Baker as long as it's talent would allow Baker, the more talented of the two players. I'm not so sure. You know, we can say that injury. I think ineffectiveness was gonna have to Baker Mayfield at the start of the could have that game on Thursday nights get regardless of whether or not he had a concussion. He was ineffective. And so I thought Baker deserve to get his opportunity and he took full advantage of it is easy to say that Baker had. He started. They would have been three. No, is easy say that that's like I keep saying that. So pretty easy because it keeps coming from this side of the table. You know, if kinda like saying that, you know what, if the Democrats would have had another nominee, they would have beaten President Trump in the general that's easy to say, but we'd never know because that didn't happen, but it's okay. I'm gonna give you a few guys that didn't start the first game of their careers, and you tell me they had an okay career. What about your breeze? Philip rivers, big big-band ally, Dan Marino. Those guys didn't start let they plan for a one team. I just ask you simple. Hell. To answer Ginny or off limits, just rhetorical or I don't get it in which one of these guys were Baker Mayfield career be better than because they didn't start and they completely different circumstances. Complete mall lump saying is skip, is that Baker look if he starts any falls on his face? Why would you put him out there? You knew he wasn't ready to play. You should've had a veteran in there. If he doesn't start Baker Mayfield the first pick in the draft. You got to put him in there. There's no way Hugh Jackson was going to be able to win because if he plays me falls flat, you had a veteran. Why don't you play the veteran? Okay. You get off toward shaky start. You could've easily won these games. Why didn't you play Baker? So I don't believe he within a situation. He could have won either way damned if you do damned, if you don't. But now the arrival this year and I'm a firm believer having been having come out the bench people not seeing me play is a lot easier to come off the bench in the middle of the game when nobody has game. No one expecting you to play, but now they're going to game skip. Get game. 'cause I got got game tape on his first year, junior. He ain't been the same, but we're not talking about. We have to change the subject when I don't have any ammo left on this one. I got plenty of all I'm saying is the olive tyrod play well enough in the preseason to keep this job. Okay. He couldn't fulfill obligation and maintain that. Not as baker's time. Okay. What happens when Baker go, oh, and four. You know what? You're going to say. He's a rookie. I'm Utah. He should have been starting goes to show you had he been in there the good chance they could have been owing, whatever with Baker just like they will retire on you just shot a whole bunch of blanks. Okay. We'll see what you arguments. I'm might need a seat belt over here to keep me down on this one because this is so wrong and I'm getting angry about the way Hugh Jackson guy. I have a for the longest defended and supported as a head coach and as a coordinator, I am a shamed for him with the way he's handled this row. I was, I guessing this there's no twenty twenty hindsight. I said, blow by blow step by step. Baker Mayfield won that game. Baker Mayfield won that game..

"What are your thoughts about that? Yeah. Well, listen, you go into the game and you bring in ops in Cleveland. Browns brought in Baker Mayfield. Tyrod Taylor gets knocked out of the game, but my problem is, where will the adjustments worthy adjustments defensively to try to counteract what Beka Maitha was doing? I mean, Baker Mayfield was out there like it was seven or seven just completing passes left and right. And you mean to tell me you had no answer for what this guy of rookie with no preparation, you know, was going out there. I mean, you're the head coach. I expected more out of the just defence is particularly in the second hand, it was almost as if they did not expect to see. Ak- Mayfield at all. It's almost like they prepare for the game completely for tyrod Taylor who they just ambushed. I mean, they have four sacks against them, ten quarterback hits. They will all over tyrod Taylor ultimately forcing them out of the game with one forty, two left in the first half which bore makeup airfield in because of the concussion injury, the tyrod Taylor. But it was almost as if they did it prepare. And the thing that bothers me about it is that if it's somebody if you going from drew Brees or AMI, Rogers or or Tom Brady today, a backup quarterback, I can understand you prepare for them, but not prepared for the backup. But even without a concussion injury, it was blows abode. And if tyrod Taylor was sticking up to join that, the fans would have demanded ultimately gotten Baker Mayfield into the lineup, wouldn't you say? Yeah, absolutely. I mean, because if you look at the Cleveland Browns, the first couple of games, it wasn't like tyrod Taylor was was was out there being air. Coryell was doing all these. All these touchdown passes out there. I thought coming into the game, there was a possibility that he could get the hook for Baker Mayfield, and then we clearly saw the. I have that tyrod Taylor was clearly stick. Stinking up the joint. So you as a coach, you gotta have Ingram adjustments you gotta adjust accordingly, and they just didn't do as far as just differences concern Woody right here with Steven. A. on ESPN radio and ESPN news. Your thoughts about Sam Donald's performance rookie growing pains, three games in eleven days. That's a tall task for anybody. Then you gotta go short week and prepare for, you know, Greg Williams defense at throws a lot of different looks..

"Chris gone pretty good. Awesome, right. So the Cleveland Browns have been telling us all preseason that tyrod Taylor is the team starter. So when Taylor fell bent, his wrist back left the game, and then came back people thought he'd be done for the ninety return to finish out the first half and never came back out to the sideline after halftime. Baker Mayfield coming sputtered with that first unit only through for seventy six yards and pick on the nights are at Chris game. We're gonna get to Baker in just a second. But first, what was your reaction to tyrod coming back in the game after hurting his wrist. Wanted to get back out on the field. And I think tyrod understands the inevitable that at some point, Baker Mayfield is going to replace him as a starting quarterback in Cleveland Browns. I mean, this is this is something that's obvious when players NFL and you see, have you read this position now? I've never been in this position. I never had a guy as a first round pick drafted at my position, but guys understand it. If you've been around and National Football League for any period of time, you know that when they draft somebody with one of those high when they or your spot and you came into take someone else's spy as a free agent. Exactly. When they start signing guys, free agency audit us high draft picks on players. You know, the inevitable that that guy is going to be at the top of the chart. It's like Vegas. Money plays. The Cleveland brow has more invested in Baker Mayfield than they do tyrod Taylor. So at some point, tyrod is not going to be the starting quarterback. So he wants to take advantage of the opportunity while he has it so he can showcases abilities and hopefully he'll be able to get another job as a starting quarterback at one of the other thirty one teams and the other listen. The Browns have been very clear on their messaging. Tyrod starter. We won't tyrod start the whole year they, there is one easy for.

"It Tiro seventy five percent of his passes led the team on scoring drives. And we mentioned yesterday that barring injury tyrod was going to be the week one starter, but the narrative could shift with a bad tyrod Taylor game and a great Baker Mayfield game. It could have really shifted with tyrod Taylor game where they haven't scored points. Andy gets dang. What would be of tyrod had not come back in the first question starting to show right has Baker is Baker Mayfield now going, and you know, what did he removed that question by coming back into the game, except the Baker did come out in the second half and didn't play well. He actually had probably his one of his years worth more season games. Yeah, he's he doesn't know that going into it cracks. He, he doesn't accept the. He had. He has the notion that he's the starting quarterback plus the general manager who has a history of when he made makes a. Notion knows tyrod tyrod does not think that key is like a starter he thinks I'm a guy that right now. I'm actually just driving the car. He can't think that he's a starter with Baker Mayfield being the number one overall pick. Does that make sense guys make sense except the we have talked the last couple of weeks. Bring that up about John Dorsey. Having worked in different organizations where once he makes declaration that someone's going to sit, they sit, it's not like the situation buffalo where maybe McCarron his healthy again, he could play, maybe Josh animal play. It's been pretty much stated right, but the one thing that can change it is injury Karan dach- why he was trying to make. I felt he was trying to make clear everyone. I'm not that it was a different situation. I thought in real time watching it, he was seriously hurt. I didn't think there'd be any question about it. If you have a fracture in your wrist, whether tear line or serious, you're going to be out a few weeks until that heels non throwing hand or not. Unless you're a defensive lineman, where they just put a Cass. On it. Like I thought he was significantly injured when he came back on the field and there was nothing on his wrist. I said, oh, okay. So it's not broken. They obviously did the x Ray and then he wanted to remove all doubt because Chris's right that every show in America would be asking even if the report was the exact same injury report, no fractures just got injured or just got hurt. I should say the question would be okay. Is Baker the starter now now maybe not at Baker plays very poorly, but there's no way to know if Baker was gonna play very quickly before we move on. What did you think of the way Baker played last night who had a better game tyrod or Baker new the of play well, their offense. They sputtered the best player on offense. I thought was called tied. Yeah, and you can see he's a quality running back. He's going to add a lot to their offense. They need another wide receiver how dependable weather tight NB that that's going to be proven out over the regular season. He wasn't creating a lot of separation, very good athlete, good prospect, good project. But Jarvis Landry is not enough from a wide receiving threat. They need Josh Gordon. They need someone else to build to step up so we can look at the quarterbacks and be like, no, this football team as an offense, they didn't play well. All right. That's how you get five points. All right. There's no way you leave a game five points unless you're playing against eighty five bears Ray Lewis in the ravens and be like, hey, I'm happy. No, no NFL teams going to be happy with that. So neither one of them played willed offense of line did not help them, but also they're going against a good to great defensive unit with great personnel. So, no, there's no need to say which one these guys look better. They didn't look good as an offense moving forward. So try to make the distinction between tyrod better. Baker looked better. I can't do that offense. They didn't look good thing..

"Yes, the cold air would blow it at the air, but you couldn't steer it and if you can't steer it how you're gonna get. Oh, I mean, unless your home is directly across from where you are and you ever the back into your home, but outside of that. So with the car star? Yes, with the tunes come on the radio when you turn on your favorite rock and roll. Yes, it would. Could you drive it home know. What do you drive. W. Because. Rented the understand none of the cars that role that Dearborn. The Henry Ford put his name would be drivable. With tyrod. Flourishes to go along with the guy you're doing right. There were lovingly prepared by Henry Ford. Facility. Well, none of those and willow run, which is a secondary facility. None of those car would be driveable without tyrod. I also like the person lives in a world where Rolls Royce builds jet engines for seven, seven, seven airplanes. And we build the cars just in invent the rod that went from the rack to the wheel that we didn't have that. But anyway, that's why I gotta go with tyrod Taylor. I mean at the argument. You'd it to go against our OD versus TI e space are ODI does not make a difference to this podcast. I know one thing the Buffalo Bills are positively screwed this year without their tyrod. Yeah, you know what? The Browns better take heed and play tyrod or you're going to suffer the same fate. But yes, the and I say it every year until they remove it. I'm I will continue to point it out. The one thing I like about the Browns that they do in case you're novice football fan. You're not sunny isn't, but for anyone out there who might be the Browns provide the helpful hint that if you get confused which team is the Browns, it's the one who's paying say Brown's on their pay, say Brown's, gonna self esteem. Do you have your one of thirty two teams on the face of the earth that gets the be called an NFL team and you feel like, I don't know. Maybe we better remind people Browns and no wonder since they wear orange hats, then you wonder why then you wonder why things get sideways for you, Cleveland Browns your team. Team name is Brown and you air orange hats. It's weird, hey, can I ask this because from the mouth of babes with super expensive braces that pay for sunny said last night, what's up with the Brown? So what's up where that name? And then I said, Paul Brown, that guy was the founder, the coach or whatever in the team named after the founder and he said, okay, but then I realized he thinks the team is called the Browns because their pants Brown. That's yeah. What I'm saying is is if your last name as white or black or Brown, if your name was Bob black and you founded something, and then you made the uniform all in black. You would be left to the dustbin of history because we all the young people growing up, like my son would say to their other friends, why they call the Browns. Ooh, look further than the Brown pants called the Browns because of the color Brown. Wake up. Yeah. What do you colorblind? You can't tell right. Paul Brown should have had an and any did he had a white team with an orange helmet? So he had it right, I let everyone turned Brown..

"Plsy didn't have an offense of line and he got rocked an wrecked, his rookie year, and he couldn't get back up off the man with a moving. The left guard. They tried to the right tackle to left left tackle that didn't work. So now they're moving the left guard. I normally like my tackles to tackles. I don't like moving guards and centers out to that because that's the toughest position to play skill got those dogs and Russian, so so you're not going to appreciate this analogy, but I'm gonna make it Baker Mayfield in a way reminds me of Tim Tibo just in intangibles, not tangible 's, but intangibles. Baker Mayfield is a force of nature, which is what I always call Tim tebow. But Baker Mayfield has a whip of an. Arm, right? Which Tim tebow did not have Baker Mayfield is deadly accurate, which Tim never was until the last four or five minutes. Those games in Denver, Baker Mayfield is ball of leadership, fire people follow him into battle and the tougher, the test, the greater, the battle, the crazier great crazy he gets. So as Tiba would go psycho t-boz. We saw occasionally in college and sometimes pro football, Baker Mayfield go into that that sort of twilight zone realm where you just, you don't even know who the guy is. Brady's. Got that psycho Tom thing. Baker Mayfield has that thing going on. So I don't think you can knock him down where he can't get up. I don't think the pressure will be too great. The expectation be too great or that the hard knocks will be too hard on him. I think he will get back up and he's got one saving grace tyrod got it to Baker Mayfield Scott, good feet, man. I'm not saying he's, he's not down the field fast. But he can escape. They've been raving about him in practice with his legs and feet. He's got quick feet and he's got that sort of cagey sort of instinct of escape ability where can duck and dodge anticipate it. He doesn't have Menzel quickness when Johnny was texting him. I don't see it now Johnny for the moment. But but again, bakers got some escape ability that if offense of line isn't great, not only thing is going to be great. They lost their left tackle Joe. Okay. So I think just on inspiration and guts in fire that that he will take that team to another level, it would help if Josh Gordon does return for the earth game, but I'm going full on if you spent the first overall pick if you believed in him that much the way they believed once upon a time and Peyton Manning, I'm not saying bakers going to be paid man. But when you do that, you have to just close your eyes and go with. How about looking at like this? They traded for tyrod Taylor in March. Now, even if they didn't know there, we're gonna take Baker Mayfield with the first overall pick. They had two of the top five picks you knew they were taking a quarterback if you believe their quarterback, it get you to where a rookie quarterback. You don't find tyrod Taylor because even though you got it was just unfortunate for for both of them run only because normally everybody knew they knew Andrew with go number one. So they cleared the, they make nothing here. You going to be started from day one Cam Newton, Vic, clear today, your starter. So this is telling me they really and truly won't tyrod to start. But if Blaker blows them away counter like they wanted plan to start up in Seattle when they gave him ten million, Gary from Green Bay Russell Wilson? Oh, no. Baker does that give you have no choice? Hugh says he wants to hold him back. Well, if you remember on Turcott in seventy three secretary, why held in Bank? You're going horse. Race, horse three, the secretary. He held him back as long as he could and miss cannery with up into says, you go, go kill it. Well, I'm holding back. He just won't run Baker Mayfield. He's just that good. You can't hold it. You just compared Baker Mayfield to the great secretary of the greatest ever. You can. Like it. Thank it. Over case closed. You can't hold him back. There's only so much Olding you can do..

"Goes to tyrod Taylor. I think it's it's more than just your normal. Oh, Sam, Bradford goodies are starter all we're going to try to lake trade of away. Start Carson months. Like they went above and beyond just like normal propaganda like, oh, let's try to make our guy feel like he's the starter, no, when players and defensive players and everything like that, start to talk about it. And then the offense coordinator opens up about your work ethic, which I don't think he would do unless he was really, really ultra impressed. And he was really impressing people, especially when there's the first pick of the draft there at your position. I would say he wins that award garage elation, graduate tyrod Taylor. I was definitely the best free agent edition in terms of like buzz that everyone's talking about other nominees, like Jimmy, Graham was up there. In Rogers catches everything with his hands. Tyrod Taylor was the runaway winner gives the organization that has not had stability. It gives them a guy at quarterback who's very professional going to keep his nose and head down, go to work, and he's won football games been in the playoffs and was in a really good organization before that with the Baltimore Ravens. So knows what it takes. Appreciate how seriously you're taking is all right. Next more categories, right? Yep. Three mile counting down to say, of course. Three more right Adam. This is best quote of the off-season. Oh, Gerald. McCoy talking about Vida when he introduces himself to my kids, you will introduce yourself as Maui go questions asked because he says he looks like the character from wanna, right? Donald Penn talking about Jon Gruden after the draft. I'm not gonna lie. I saw the draft, but that called Gruden. I was like, man, what the fuck he didn't answer. But when I saw him the next Monday, he was joking, you kick my ass Donald. You were mad as a motherfucker, musk, grave talking about j. that going down. Yeah, Bill musk, grave talking about Jake, but he's going to be terrific asset for us. It was a good one. Dave Tepper on Ron Rivera, Ron is a natural defensive guy like walking down the street and drink and water just natural. And the last one, Joe whitt the Packers defensive passing game coordinator. You cannot tell the difference between a confused player. A coward. They both move slow. So it's that guy run Rivera drinking water jig, but is an asset Donald pens, Gruden imitation and Gerald. McCoy saying Vida has to be the guy from Milan, I really liked the mcquaid one, but it doesn't beat Donald pending Gruden. That's amazing. I mean, first of all, I am bias, they know both of them, but I just totally envision that conversation and I can also envision girton looking at it as phone, seeing Donald pens call after he's drafted that Miller. Yeah, called Miller and literally like grinning. He's pissed off guys fate. We we just off Donald vent, that's I can see it happen. Best quota, the off-season, Donald, Penn imitating John. Awesome. All right, two more. This is a new category just started. It's called most wove reboard and it is present. It is in honor of neighbor, wove neighbor was the eagles player. That's the reason that we started. Whoa, big off season, which is a guy that gets over hyped, but we know that it's probably not attribute. We started this because this guy. Team. I didn't realize it was because of neighboring so. So really what it is. These are the wo big off seasons that we know were probably bullshit. Yes. Okay, right. I one for most movie site in this category for most overboard. Mike McCarthy says to Sean Kaiser would have been a first round pick in this year's draft..

"And our phone number's eight five five two one two four two two seven that's eight five five two one two four two two seven our toll free line is eight five five two one two four two two seven let's say let's think about it from the perspective of the cleveland browns right just to start there is a tie here don't you the browns they traded for tyrod taylor and there's a debate going on about whether tyrod has instantly improve the position enough that they might stick with him now of course they're going to see what he does but i still believe you jackson has away with qb's that's his natural teaching coaching that's what he wants to do that's his area of expertise and john dorsey you would think wouldn't have gone out and traded for quarterback without at least talking to his head coach i believe that's in the past for the cleveland browns that's not happening anymore they now have communication between the coaching staff and the front office but if you remember before they hired john dorsey one of the big claims one of the one of the reasons why it still wasn't working is because you had a disconnect between the front office who is making the choices about which players decided which players to draft and the coaches who actually had to put them on the field so let's assume that part is done and that john dorsey would have consulted his head coach to find out what is coach was looking for and qb who is coach would like who is coach wouldn't like so they get tyrod taylor do they then still draft a quarterback at number one because they're worried that the qb they desperately want my get away might be drafted by someone else before the browns pick again at four these are all really interesting questions we don't necessarily have the answers we only have speculation what we do know is that this new qb the next brown's qb whether it's taylor or whether it's the rookie though coach jackson has indicated he doesn't expect the rookie qb to play this season wink wink nod nod we've heard that before for sure we know that this new qb will not have joe thomas to help protect him we'll not have joe thomas on the offensive line where he stood guard was guard no no he's the.

"Trip to philadelphia first thursday of the season and seeing him in that building that i think nbc will run it back with kirk cousins you think that'll be the opening nightmare it's either that or or stick jerry jones alley and make him watch the eagles raise their banner which is particularly in your face i would hang that that i think those are the two things commissioner might want to do that so jerry jones i mean i think lawsuits i dunno dan i think right now we're all starting from scratch i think everything is now even doubt apparently rich and i were laughing about this yesterday because we saw a quote from hugh jackson he's the cleveland browns head coach on his quarterback here's a hugh jackson talking about tyrod taylor when you go out in you do these privates with the quarterbacks you bring him in here into berea what would you tell them about their their chances of of starting for this football team that tyrod taylor is the starter they don't they don't have another quarterback tyrod taylor has to be the starting so this is margie and naming a starting quarterback and and we're going to hold them to it and or he should have said spurgeon wins not walking through that door you know i mean okay in september is tyrod taylor starting quarterback include you'd have to think so but they have to draft somebody and they have to draft him first overall i think maybe the last time i was on the show they i said this they have to call the giants and say the dave gettleman what do you what do you need for the second overall pick us they've got three twos left they used their three on getting tyrod taylor they have three twos left and just say let's swap two to four what do you want to this year to next year and and they go quarterback barkley rip the knob off we'll see you will see you middle of friday night that's it just just do it and and and the drama do what you need to do at the top of the draft go bold they already are doing that so and and tyrod taylor would be a great now here's here's a corey the new phrase here for the as you know set the edge was the football phrase of two thousand seventeen the clubhouse leader of the.

"All right let's talk about tyrod taylor new cleveland brown quarterback yes traded from the bills to cleveland i read some things saying that he was a top choice ahead of the mccarron trait last year so they've had their eyes on tyrod for a while for whatever reason and he was traded for third round pick look tyrod i found a mean from literally one year ago today and i had made some jokes about tyrod taylor because he had no wideouts i mean in buffalo this was like sammy was leaving and i'm thinking tyrod got no weapons what odds what chances you have there now you have cleveland likely to draft a quarterback very high but have publicly said they don't want to start a rookie in week one so tyrod your guy rico week one right yes week one here's my take on this is this was an off awful trade in awful awful trade for the cleveland browns they gave up a third round pick the fr in if i'm not mistaken the first pick correct oh that's a starter oh definite that is a starter for your team regardless of offense or defense you have now grabbed a bridge quarterback as they wanna call him because he's still not on a contract is not under contract next year the cleveland browns of the one on one and the one oh four pick now unless there is some huge smokescreen here and the cleveland browns are not going to take a quarterback with one of those two picks then trained for tyrod it's fine.
