Spittin' Chiclets Episode 122: Featuring Taylor Hall, Johnny Walker and Tyler Busch
Everybody. Welcome to episode one hundred twenty two of spin chickens, presented by new Amsterdam. Nice Sunday night here. Let's say Hello to the fellas before we dive in things I but to produce producer down the city might Anneli. What's up, brother? It's going on guys a little college hockey in this episode. So I'm a little excited. Yeah. Couple issue guys coming on the pod. So it should be good one. I get those pitchforks up or biz caused them the shocker next. I boy biz. Where are you right now? All I'm backing Zona. We're going to get we're gonna get to my fun little trip. I just experienced. We'll get to that later. I don't wanna. Okay, good. I thought I saw you in a different state on Instagram night. I'm curious they head out myself and last, but certainly not least Buddy Ryan Whitney what's up dog. What's called on biz questions about that? And that guy we talked a lot of shit about that clown. I think you talk more shit about I'm out more. I thought he could make the coast. I was I was playing hockey with them, boys. Feed him some one timers. He's not that bad. Freak athletically. I bet he probably could play better than me, stronger ankles. That's for sure. I will get to that a little later. But after we got I coach canning of the year and biz man, you have the scoop on this on the Schuylkill yet some Intel what but joint Stevens fired as coach of the Los Angeles Kings today, I wrongly after a win using coaches get canned after Las he was can't after win. What what's your take biz? Man. You saw this coming. Yeah. I mean, that's obviously too good of a lineup for the startup start of the season. They've had. John Stevens Zoe always been nice to me. I guess my opinion on is is he he's very much like Sutter. And I don't think gang around the rink is a lot of fun. It's very structured and Orioli. It's yeah. It's a little dull, and that's a fun group of guys, and you know, every day, they're harping on systems and. I just think it was time for a change because you know, eighty two game schedule boys, you gotta have fun, and they just weren't providing a lot of offense. I think that that system maybe wearing guys down physically they play they play a hard game. And they limit the other team's chances. I mean analytically they've looked good over the last couple of years. They don't allow many good quality scoring chances. You know, they play a good five man unit. But the way then each else going, it's just a lot more speed involved in. I mean, you saw a team Anaheim they've tried to adapt to they completely change the way they do things. Obviously things haven't worked out unbelievable for them to start the year as possession wise and shot wise. I think they've been getting smoked, but I think it's time to move away from the old old time thinking on the way it should be played. I think some new blood in there with Willie DJ is going to be nice for them. And I still believe in that group of guys I've talked about it. I like a lot of them in in that locker room, and they're they're winners. And. That they can turn this around a merely curious to see his sometimes you will see the occasional coaching shakeup and teams actually catch fire. I mean, it's like it's almost like they were like get out of the room. I'm not saying this Stevens. But they're just they've tuned him out. And then guys start getting going and confidence clicks, and I'm much. I mean, it could happen with them. But biz like you're saying, they're they're they haven't played quick. Now. I don't know if they if that's been the style that Stevens was really kind of one that wanted them to be playing or it's just that. They don't have that quick of a team. So I think of San Jose playing LA right now. And I just see him out skating him. I just picture never getting the loose the king. So maybe the coach, which is it up. But it's one of those things right now, we're Rob Blake sick. And you can't you can't trade everyone. You can't fire. The players you have fire fire the coach. How many years even the last year of his deal too? You know, I agree with you. And it could be a mixture of both. But you know, from my time I spent on in your organization, he coaches, very similarly to to Sutter, and they're not really stretching out the ice much. It's always a five man unit. Always coming back inside the dots. Now opening up when you're not spreading things out your little little easier to defend and I think that everyone just kinda knows their system now. And when they do catch fire when they're playing well-structured hockey, and they're they're getting the goaltending, especially. Yeah. That's when they're very difficult to be. But if they don't get it. They can't get it done in net. And now quickies down for a little bit. Imagine he's going to be gone at least for four weeks. It's tough for them because they just can't produce the offense and shadow to whoever really made the final decision. I guess it's a book, you know, other people are always involved in firing coach, but they did it after a win. So he probably had off. Fuck I needed that win. All boys is thank you say that we think it begs boys I needed that one. It's still gets gassed those the old fake. We had a plan for Sunday. No matter what happened in the game. You guys wonder if maybe there's a chance that Stevens is a bit of a fall guy hair. Like this rosters just not up the snuff. It doesn't matter. I mean, that's kind of what I was getting at net. If it does change, you know. All right. They were sick of or they didn't like style. But if it doesn't you gotta think Stevens apply watched them looking at it. Like, I what else did you want me to do? I think that they're better than what they've showed. So it was it was it was what they what they what they really had to do as a team. I mean, you can't let this get too out of control, and it's right on its way right now. But you said that this is potentially last year of his deal. I don't know. No that honor. Nelly. Get on that if you can. Yeah. But I mean, but if it is I mean, what's the point you might as well, try shake things up now to salvage season doesn't seem like the guys responding to his systems or or the voice in the locker room. And and I'll say this guy's in today's day and age if you're not a players coach, I don't want to say guys turn on your quick. It's just all of a sudden there's some some some conflict and especially with the age of that locker room. There's a lot of strong voice in in there for guys who have gotten the job done. So, you know, sometimes it's you gotta pick the players over the coach. I mean, that's usually always the case. But especially in a scenario like this. Yeah, it's interesting. I mean, they had seven years Dowell Sutter, and they only had ninety five games. That's all Stevens. Got. He got all of last season thirteen games this season. So I don't know if he was on a two year deal three deal because what kind of coaches deja, Dan. What would you guys know about him? If anything I don't nothing about him. I know that he's always had a winning record. He's never had a losing record since he was head coach in the NHL. But I just think that like I said, the two coaches Sutter and then Stevens. Were very similar. I mean Stevens was his assistant coach when they want it. So I imagine that was the exact same things being reinforced Dane and day out and that just dried out. Yeah. I I don't know much about will days are down. I do know that guys love playing for him that I talked to. I don't think he's, you know, full blown players go doesn't get mad at guys think you hold people accountable, very intense. But I've heard guys really joy plan for him. So I mean, he's gonna have to switch things up though. You know, that's the coach comes in the next day is all new lines. You know, he's got govern meetings with players saying, listen, we're starting over here. I mean, I could think when -tarian came in when adult check was fired my rookie year. I mean, those were bad meetings. He came at you mother fucker I seen how you play piece shit time is over I'm now playing like a real man you fucking pussy. So I don't think that meeting days are Dan will be like that. But go spice ADA guys you gotta get going little bit. Yep. So there's a big first coaching five of the I'm sure they'll be more because this is the L one other quick note. Michael Sturm also named as one of the assistance for deja, Dan. Great little player when he was around knowledge shifting gears to somewhat thousand game accomplishments. This I wonder if this is a record for the most thousand games that plays of chief. No one season. We've already had Duncan Keith Thomas built Cannock Ryan Suter Jason Spencer. And since I last show defensemen Ron Haney on Toronto and buffalo Ford Jason Palmdale. Each got the thousand game over the last several days. So like, you say Manhattan hats off to these guys were able to get a whole thousand games in the league. Yeah. I think Ron Haines eases. A New England guy from Connecticut played at Lowell in college was a high pick by the Canadians, but an awesome players. Great skater could move the puck, and as his NHL career went along changed almost into a PK guy. And. Kind of shutdown defense. And it's making great decisions real veteran on the Toronto Blue line now. So congrats them on an amazing career. I mean, that's just someone that I think about right away. When when you listen to those names because growing up he was two years old. Maybe I always heard about you know, playing hockey in his teen. So congrats to him. And all these guys I wonder actually what the record is. It's a good question. If we can get somebody on that fuck that's all in the playoffs at NHL network Elias sports bureau sends a guy to like hang out watch games every night and just comes up with stats every second thing stat he'd know right away, you know, right away. How many guys play thousand games in one year RA's are Rainman? He's got all the stats, but I got a couple here actually, two more guys that are coming up here Brooks, or peck, he's at nine ninety two and Dion enough who's probably gonna get there before him at nine ninety four a couple of other ones, boys. This is a fun fact only four percent of players who play one NHL game. End up cheating thousand game milestone. So that's, but we talk all the time. I will how strong of a crop. There was in the mid eighties that were players born sorry in the mid eighties. I did a little research here of players born in eighty four eighty five. They're currently eighteen of them with eight hundred fifty games played or more nineteen if you clued Dustin buffalo and sitting at eight thirty nine so that's that's a lot of guys in that those two to birth years that are prepared in the next few years at will probably hit the thousand game. I talked about that oath redraft that I was part of a majority of those players are eighty fives. Yeah. And the two thousand three draft which we talk about is was the greatest draft of all time. If you ever if you ever looking wanna look at a draft check that thing out in the names, but by believer, Berge on shave, Weber we're second rounder. So yeah, that makes sense that that I mean that means that there could be. A year in the near future where there is ten twelve guys that get two thousand in the same season. So maybe maybe record that we're ensuring will be broken. A. Not sure if you guys having to catch that graphic that was floating around Twitter from the two thousand two Buffalo Sabres training camp. They had five guys there in three the TV analysts one of them's the save GM and the last one Pomodoro is still playing because rod raising analyst Andrew pitas is an analyst my Tam Rana's Jason Botterill as the GM, and he's still slugging along I'll sixteen years later. So so coolest upon Ville still getting their done as he added to talks to that game. It was game celebration. So it was thousand first game. So how you say it's three points. I saw that on nine two. I believe got to feed them all all the second half of the game games. Try to get in the hat trick to England. Since palm Ville started playing alongside Jeff Skinner in Jack Eichel. They are the highest scoring line in the NHL Skinner with eight goals, five assists, palm Ville, seven goals, six assists. And with one goal, eleven assists. Palman Ville tourney back the clock. Over twentieth. Save is the twentieth. Hey grenell. You're savers over points was I mean that looks nice right now. It looks real nice eighty two. I got him at seventy nine and a half. That's good. Check. Love straight win calling. You a law. He's been good with the future bets. Lately. He had the Boston Red Sox at a pretty good number midseason. And speaking numbers RA, we've got a couple more signings in the NHL. Yes. The national predators. Just got Renate back off the injured reserve the other day, and they gave him a two year ten million dollar extension for the next two years after this one on little five million dollar average annual value pretty team friendly deal. What do you guys think of that one? I think it's a hell of a deal for the press. Who also we've talked about has great backup in sorrows. But how about Rene what what a what an athlete the guy goes outside? The ten million dollar contract comes off the iron on his birthday shut out. The bruins. I star. Just I mean, that's just Dave for yourself. Jesus christ. I couldn't have I didn't have a year career like that. Yeah. One day bay wit in our. Here's a little crazy fun fact for you guys. So when he signed his seven year extension. It was also on his birthday. I believe it was six years ago because he still has of course, this year left on his deal. Really? It was on his birthday, and guess what he got a shadowed against the Zona coyotes. So and now fast forward six years later, he gets a two year extension for ten million on his birthday plays that night against Boston off the I R and gets another shutout. So there's a little fun factory. I'm just full of tonight. He should sign contracts during the playoffs stall on big games. Maybe like a big game seven conference finals. Oh, already come with the heat when he's got his own goaltending. Issues to worry about with the Boston Bruins elax fucking get the lead safe in the league nine. I would I would call that a goal tending issue considering the starters not doing that. Two two. Good goals. I don't think that's ever a problem. L actors playing a lot better right now. All signed a nice deal are funny guy. We were talking about last year. Yanni good Tampa Bay. And I read up on this kid, man, he signed the six thirty one million dollar extension. Now, this is a kitty played four years in the queue never drafted. He's people in the age L for a couple of seasons and Tampa date Tampa Bay discovered. One of these undecided guys who some reason scouts teams ignore Tampa Bay brought him in last year. He added with eighty two games last year first complete season in the NHL twenty five goals during nine assists. He started off this year house afire, and they say, well, let's let's lock this kid up. What's interesting is a twenty five years old last year has I like full season in the NHL. But this looks like money well spent I know he's got a small sample size. But it's very good sample size. And now this looks like a good sign for Tampa. And they're making a lot of them. They seem like they keep dropping these team friendly contract extension with guys. And this is this is an actual awesome feel-good story Yanni, Gordon, and I mean now he set for life thirty one million thanks for coming on a big new. I mean, that's that's one that I made and look at my life. So I mean. Money. But think about this sketch spent a little time in the coast and biz you someone who also made it to the NHL plan the coast at so unlikely dude I mean, you see it a little bit a little more happened a little more often now, but still I mean, the odds are stacked against you that that's a that's a long with this guy. Never been drafted four years in the queue. I'm I wish I checked assuming one of those over age year, which is another thing. Most guys who play over a year junior. They're never making the NHL correct on that why just journeys law harder. Yeah. That's that's gonna die drafter fraternity. These guys get pushed down and keep in mind like when he was playing in the coast, you're still towards the era where they want a guys with size and now the game shifted towards more speed and pace. Of course that benefited him. But yeah, definitely a feel good story. And I mean similar to the tuck situation where you get a guy a little bit cheaper price giving them the long-term deal. He doesn't have to sign any type of. Bridge deal, and he gets to security, and I mean it may right now he's appointed game thirteen games in the season. And if he can maintain that, even if you're a sixty five seventy point guy NHL, I mean, that's a hell of a bargain. I keep reiterating it on the podcast to it such an advantage for these teams that are with in states with no state tax. Right. Did you see what I retweeted? No, no, no. I retweeted the video of you in Nashville. Jalen Ramsey, and then some kid responded Bizet factual with reminding us what state and national taxes have to do with the city play. I refute. He loves it. You did it right there. We talked about potentially NHL Justin it because it's such an advantage for ROY agree with you are usually I don't know if we have the same the same number of listeners. We did when I first time or the second time the third time, I've mentioned it. So I just wanted to every time a guy signs a state with no state taxes, Florida, Tennessee where on it. There's three guarantees in life. What's the saying three guarantees death taxes and something usually to death and taxes, but some have another three death taxes and meet reiterating that states that don't have state tax all remind you go through our tax related. It's going to be interesting notice what Tampa does moving forward. Like, the GM said, it's a good problem to have having a sign all these guys because they got almost thirty to roughly thirty two million tied up just four guys. Stamkos kucherov. Mcdonagh in headman. It's a lot of dove to four guys obviously the money. So you know, probably gonna have to they probably going to have to lose one of their regulars. Couple regulars to get line. Contract buys all of the next several months. But again, it's a good problem to have a lot of good players need to be paid every other every fan wish they had that issue, Mikey. We got some college talk coming up. We do we got a couple of Arizona state guys coming on both both to stugz they lead the team this year. We'll both lead team in points. Arizona state swag in this year, boys. It's pretty fun to watch. I mean the school that four years ago was playing club hockey. I mean, I played club hockey like that's joke. So it's now it's cool to see them playing big schools like Penn State, Ohio State. So I mean, I'm excited for the future of Arizona, state hockey. I think it's gonna be the mecca of college hockey. And we have a great interview here voice, pretty easy recruiting at ASU. We got Tyler Bush and Johnny Walker coming on. We're going to intro them right now. Hope you guys enjoy a little ASU action. I wanna welcome to the podcast few of my close friends now that I've been to my first ever college hockey game at ASU a few members of the sun devil hockey team who have had a very good start to the season seven three and the two scoring leaders of the team. We're going to join us Johnny Walker and Tyler Bush, welcome to the podcast, ladies and gentlemen. Going on. They said ladies, I don't know why the fuck I said that I thought you kind of chirp. Maybe Walker after that little canoe incident. We let's just jump right in. I don't know this incident, but he scored the OT winner against Penn State who I believe is ranked fifth in the nation right now, or at least were last week 'til ASU and spank them, and he scored the OT winner and a little canoe move. Cannot chime in on this case, I had a perfect view on the ice. What happened in the third period? We're up two goals at kid from Penn. I think you guys actually put it on your Instagram the kid from Penn State kicked out the puck like cross y'all and octave net. No. Who originally, you know, who did that? I all. Are you shit? No, no. The guy didn't weed out a funny tweet the guy lifted the puck up it was Mike leg on Michigan. Like ninety six think, you young guys aren't even know. Tuck was born in ninety six. Suck on that. Anyways, this guy. This guy goes all the way like Kelly of the red line like jackass gone right away. Johnny looks at me on the bench. And he goes let me scar. I'm gonna top that one. And sure Shetty gets breakway in overtime. And I see talk in any Sally's all the way down the I live on that. Of the fucking canoe was unbelievable. But but biggest win for our program and the great feeling, but yeah. Johnny stole the spotlight there. Well, Bush you're the one who sent in that pass, right? Buttery saw all the quick look. I mean, I'm not Ron never not on the far blue line. So he knows I'm always there. You guys you guys are currently one and two on the team in scoring. I mean hockey Beatty's a bit of a gong show when it comes to college hockey, but currently ten games played Walker. You have eleven goals that leads the nation. Yes. Eleven goals, six assists for seventeen points and bushy. I think you have four-goal seven assists for eleven points, which is one and two on the team and my correct? I think that's right. Wow. To banged up to remember celebrating that big win at Penn State. Fortunately, though game one there on the Friday. You guys had the lead going into the third period. And you guys ended up blowing it nice to compose yourselves. Come back Saturday and get that OT win. Yeah. It was a tough on those those kind of thing we had angry at a two-goal lead. And that's the top building day that crowd kinda get into it. They scored three and like seven seconds or something it was insane. But they're they're good team. But it's abound back. I mean, the top it off and overtime felt pretty good. But like she said it was a huge win for the program. So I wanna get in in a little bit into the kind of the start of the program because I have some questions my own show, the listeners do but quickly I'm curious you guys fly private or you on pigeon commercial flights when you travel. So actually that's a charter flight. We all. Being here. Guys pink wig split fuck on the way, home his. That good or what? Yeah. So so this one was chartered we I mean, the great school good funding, and and we flew right in and then flew right out after after Saturday's big win. But usually usually fly like you said what head in. But we we gotta bring it setup. And we're pretty well taken care of. Well, let's talk about how you guys got to d one which is a wild story. I was talking to your coach Gregg powers who's been there for this ninth season now, and he did an article with a kid at the school. And in one of the questions was what do you think it would take to get this program to d one? And he he said probably, you know between thirty and forty million dollars. And sure enough in that same week a silent silent donation of thirty two million dollars was offered to the school. And that's what the fucking ball rolling, which is which is an amazing story. And that's how it all got going. Correct. Yeah. It was. I think I think we kind of. No. But it's still supposed to be pretty silent huge donation, and definitely definitely jump-started jump started. What we have now. But quick quick story. I had a I had when they first committed the on. I I'm from Arizona. So obviously wanted to go here I down near bag. Great powers just to just to offer me anything plate this school. I think you finally just said, yes. Shut up. But. Are fundings. Unbelievable. And and obviously it's tribute to where we're headed. No did that have any kinda shape. You're in. I mean, I was unit. I. I got the picture. Graham, you got a huge barrel on yin and the phone all before when you're begging assign. You are in a body like milk bag wit. No. You look. Absolute unit. Six foot two thirty. Not a lot of backtracks. I was opening the lot all the time fence actually started as a defense. Then wasn't great. So we so your coach that business talking about his ninth year. And this is third or fourth year d one third. This is the fourth year three complete years doi-. Okay. Okay. So that means he spent a lot of time. I mean, have you talked to guys that were before you that played club that like new I think this guy's way beyond a club hockey coach. I mean, he could coach legit d one program. Did everyone always know. How smart he wasn't you guys? Really enjoy playing for him. Yeah. I'll turn that one to Bush. He was he was apart more that that Quebec miss fear when he first got here. So yeah. I mean, my fear. We still had like there was a bit of a turnover. We still had a handful of the club guys. I can't say enough about that group of guys they you know, they played two or three maybe or years a club hockey, and then and then got chance to play division wine. And you know, we struggled a bit that first year and. You know, such a good year for guys just wanted to be here, and you know, kind of build the foundation here for us. And like, you said, our coaches is, you know, he's he's great with with motivating us to be the best. We can. And you know, he's done such a good job or crusading. And that's our whole coaching staff. And you know, they've traveled all over North America and Europe and recruited a great group of guys. And I think we're finally starting to see, you know, the six ASO, you know, after a couple of years of, you know, not shovel the bit. But you know, just kinda granted through it. Now are starting to see results. So just being here to see the whole thing unfold. So what is the crowd like for you guys? And pretty sure that back when it was club a club program. They were still getting thousands of game, right? I think we're maxed out at a thousand range. Is that what you guys are at Grenell? What are you all they can fit whole must be sick atmosphere, though? I mean aims fucking hate playing there. And and we kind of feed off that they I mean, you got you got, you know, all those all put the from B U and be that. Yes. You we like us. Wait, we we could fit thousand people in our weight room. Never scored a goal from the gym. Yeah. I know body. No. But it's it's a tight rank. And I mean, they do they do fill fill people in there. And I I love playing there. I know there's a lot of talk about a rain coming soon. But. We use it as an advantage. I mean, not a lot not a lot of teams when it come in and play there. And I think we played better there. We've played at healer river a couple times and not not as good result. So we we use at your badge. And and just make the most of what we got. Now, you just said that a new rank is is could becoming now is that something they're killing recruits like when they're recruiting them. Like, we have a new arena on the way, you know, our facility going to upgrade facilities 'cause I mean the ring doesn't look like it's a division. One rank. No, it's it's actually the the rank I grew up playing might hockey. And so it kind of bolt circle. But yeah, there I think it's I think it's pretty pretty close to come out. And. It's right around the corner. I I'm sure they're gonna be breaking ground soon. So I mean once once on this program gets gets a rank I be pretty hard to turn down AirAsia state, vigilant hockey and the whole atmosphere with with rank on top of it would they put the rink on campus. Or would it be off campus? It'd be on campus. Yeah. Which means you can't booze. Right. Is that the rule some campuses? You think they I think they just changed the rule where you can actually sell boos at at college college sports, as you know, better than me. But I'm off the pissed boys. I've been just over two months sober. But. Enough of the loser. Talk on my end a little backstory through when when before you guys at turned d one there is four year stretcher. You guys went the national championship as a club Ocoee team. Finally in the third year of going you guys ended up or ASU ended up winning it. Obviously that probably had a lot to do with the fact that people were starting to take the program there a little bit more seriously. Yeah. I mean, they they have great teams are that great club program going here. And a lot of those guys are still around here. And and, you know, pop in and other basal, so obviously. You know, a lot of history there and not like you said, I think that has big part of of I we went division one. And you know. You know, those guys just being around. They kinda you know, support our what were here. And and the fact that you end division one, I think really really sites those guys in the back, but hockey on stay in, you know, it's pretty cool relationship between Nelson those guys played club. Where do you see the program in ten years? Like, I've been saying for months now, I would love to see a pack twelve in college hockey, you know, USC UCLA Oregon Washington schools like that do you see do you see you guys writing this out as independent joining a conference sometime soon like where do you see the future of the program? Yeah. Well, I know like UNLV they're they're trying to they're trying to replicate what we're doing. I know USC UCLA have good club programs and everything my brother's, actually he's playing hockey here. Not on the pod. But he he can actually skate this way. Better skater me. I told him by the time but time he's eighteen nineteen like this programs can be lights out on once as a rank. How like I said earlier how how would you ever say no to that airs ONA, and then and then what what you could accomplish as a hockey player hair to is just no other place compare. So and then I especially when UNLV and and I think those other teams get on board. I think it's eventually going to be some pretty special down down in the south here. Well, you guys you kind of bring up what I'm really interested. And I've told my story of my official visit on the gas before I won't go into it again. But you know involves Megan crushed Buchanan's just old. School things back in two thousand two thousand one. But what are you doing now? And I've heard the pool scene at ASU. Is it true? The dorms of pools, and the rockets they in around. I mean, you have became walking around the pool. How does it go to school like this? It's up be you either. Walk don't call mave and you cold the shit. Yeah. I mean, it's pretty sick anything away from the rank like you spend, you know, two three hours a day. But then you go home. And I mean like you said my my freshman year. We basically lived on resort. We got a pool and. You know, the way I see it. Like, we kind of get a bad rap at climbs. And people think oh, you Arizona stations the party school. But it's like a matter where you're going to school. You know, Minnesota Michigan Alaska, you know, every college team parties, and how's it time and and picture spas? But you know, the way I see I think just our party a little bit better. Probably we probably have better better than girls. Yeah. I mean, I mean, it's a great place to live at the great place to play hockey. And I think like Johnny said the program it's going to take off especially once we get new civility in Iraq and everything Johnny rumor has it. They made you eat a salad for the first time on your school. Visit. No, actually, Michelob ultra balsamic vinaigrette. At that time, I actual- visit which was unofficial how to pay for myself. I they told me stay away from the cheese. Burgers, and pizza wasn't worth it anymore. Still about two ten there. I dropped twenty pounds. But I I am worried to do a few of the boys walk, especially Grenell might nor more. The story talked to us about scrapping with was at Michigan Tech's head coach last year. Like what happened give us the whole or from the beginning? So it actually started we played that biggest tournament. Which we won also not not a big deal. Then so we played them once there, and then we started to Michigan tech, not no pigeon flight. And then so we played a couple of games there. First first night points. And then the the second night I had to and and almost as ridiculous Selley as I had the other night right at their band and their coach. Maybe headed out for me. So we were we were down like two two goals at the end to end of the third. We pulled our goalie and there's like a little bit of scrap. So I figured I'd star the pot. I skate over their bench. Lina against their bench like total Astle. And their coaches just eight got a foot over the boards like foot on the boards. Ripa me. I look back. And I said, yeah, I'd be pissed too. All my points came against you guys. And he kind of eat snapped a little bit. And then with like, two seconds left. I I try to take a run at one of their kids. Yeah. The pocket I figured might as well. Get my first head of the season and dodge it a little bit. And there was like kind of a bra, and I was getting back, and I look over and their coach is at hall and across the I. Math AMIS coming right? At me. I'm like, what's he gonna eat can't hit me like you can't do anything. And then I look over our pension, Alex, our coach. I just see him like like absolutely fly over the board. He's got to be four feet over the boards running onto the I I he played played in the show for while had a few fights. And I've never seen a scarier luck. Like it was completely blank. There is not you guys. You guys put it on fitting check. Let's, but it was there was just nothing like, no one home and try to rip it, Pat. So it was it was kind of nice to get under his skin a little bit. But I think I think we won the the season series, which is which is a bit nicer. So a patch it up after like there been any communication or phone calls since that incident. No, I actually played against played with their assistant coach, and he came up like hugging me during the big brawl Johnny like, you can't be doing that stuff. You know like you. You can't do that. You know, you can't do that. And I'm sitting there thinking like that's why you guys pick me two years ago. Like you loved it two years ago. And now, you're on the other side and hate it. But I think I think our coach called called them Bush league. And I mean like I said we won the season series. So we'll we'll take we'll take the less on that. That's pretty good story right there. That's for college hockey. I mean, that's as good as but pretty Cup of the cage on. Oh. Yeah. Who is it man? I was tough shit talk until I if I tell you nothing protect my face and guys ready to punch my head. For people who don't know a team, many, yours happens to be Mario Lemieux, son. And I dunno guy roommate? Oh, so what's that like trying not to grill the kid with questions? You always ask about his dad because that's just someone that, you know, everyone wants to meet if they've ever played hockey. So a little flashback to to the other podcasts where best talked about the wing. He he wake me before that game that you're and then he ranked at me again to wings, which is more than your one week. But it is it is unbelievable. It just it rains like it's like like heaven's gates just open world's Larrea rate. Yeah. It's just like it's just him and space and his wing. It's just it's unbelievable. So I actually just met him yesterday. Austin great. Great kid super nice. He he's like seem to go up to my dad, just say what's up? I don't think you understand it just doesn't really work like that. I don't think real you'll mute gives this shit. What what I have to say. So I kind of stay away, but I met him yesterday. And I couldn't get away fast enough before I said something stupid. But you know, a lot of kids, you know, they grow up maybe a little spoon fed and Austin so down to earth and great hockey player. I think that a lot of people were kind of looking down on them. And and maybe compared him to tomorrow, which I mean like what who's gonna fill those shoes anyways. But is a great kid and great hockey player. It's it's good to have them on the ice this year. And it's something special living to the clouds scare the shit out of them all the time. The jump faster. So yeah. Just just hiding under sped grabbing his leg. I think he's gonna have a heart attack. Oh, jeez. That's torture for the poor kid. Hey, you know, first time, I I'm I'm hoping your first time meeting Morio wasn't similar to mine. So so hung over. I had to go throw up right after I met a moat side melon arena. I feel like I feel like it's like getting knighted when he winks at you. That's his version of it. Like, he like gives you the, wink. And then you need like ten winks to be knighted you guys like to in one year, plenty to go before you get knighted by got my second one at the game when I strolled in and they gave me that fancy parking lot at the back of the rink, which I was like what they must think. It's Shane don't come in or something. So what was that about? Johnny was it you who was taken the piss to this next to in the locker room. Yes. So I'm mounted up. I got the tripod look going. I got the hand on the wall. Can't he just nervous pets, and then I look over. I see absolutely disgusting shoes. So ugly. Like jackass who says look over its you on like, no way they'll way. So that's why you had standing arm. My presence. I mean, you talk about your ranch enough. It's got a lot of hype. And I dunno skin too. Yet. These business owners get lit up on the fucking redo the intro. I'm afraid party or. But yeah, I looked over. I was like holy shit. It's as I don't know what I said. But I mean, I hated them. I I wasn't a fan of state at all. But then you laugh, and I look back like three the boys looking at me. Like, what are you serious? Like what like how why is he in here? What's going on dry? I guess I guess our issue John laughing or kind of rolled out the red carpet for you. Like you said. Oh, yeah. I Joe Rogan actually call me he wanted to put my dick on fear factor when it. I declined. I didn't want everyone. No secret Tyler kind of funny that you actually de committed from Ohio State that was a game. I went to is there eighty eight. Well, no, not really party with ASU girls. It was there any animosity on the ice. Or is that kind of boiled over? A little bit. But my first year we actually played them. And I was kinda like the the big game that I was looking forward to and we ended up splitting with them on the road. So that was kinda like my, you know, my final light get pretty pretty humble brag y'all so talk tonight game late late goal the tight off. Yeah. I mean, you know, the way I look at it. Like, I I never went there. I never stepped foot on campus. And I don't buy, you know, the past the past, and, you know, the decision I made by non happy with bottom hair and integrates ball. Like, I said, so. Yeah. I don't I don't look at it that way and we tough series with them in their early team. But you know, the way we're playing I think, you know, I couldn't be more happy to be right now. And and I'm really excited for the future. Here. I does Mario's kit ever flex the Mario card guy takes run on these like buddy, you're never gonna play hockey again. I don't think you have what? And boys. I got a little proposal for you. If you could somehow talk Austin into getting Mario on the podcast. We we the spit in triplets crew would pay for your guys rookie party. Do you think that's possibility? Pretty pig. NC double violation. Guys gas that they'd be done, dude. So I think we just got a bully. Mario into getting on the pie. Because anyway, anyway, you guys can do it like be like, dude. I'll stop scaring daddy go in the podcast, and we'll get a bunch of. He just sit there and wink, anyway, like he has nothing to say just wake it. We'd have the content guy gets. Gets. Awake. That'll be a shirt, three seconds. Yeah. We'll if you guys bring it up on the pod a shot him out. But I'll I'll talk to him right now. Maybe we'll just have him in RA do content with the Instagram filters. What was that? All is yet. That was a tough one. We're gonna talk about talk to podcast safety about that one. But boys, we're going to wrap. This thing up. We wanna thank you both for coming on Tyler Bush who's a co captain for the ASU Sundell's hockey team. They call it the pitchfork, but I call it the shocker we all. Full anyone say to in the pink one of the stink. So how they can. Twitter search on the internet. I have no idea mice one one thing that needs to be discussed. Actually, I'll let you go. I know I just I think of the guys who played it as state when it was a club hockey team all four years, maybe they put on the club hockey team. And then they're just going to get better better and ten years. Yeah. I played it to state. You know, they just kinda leave out that it wasn't D one. When they did it. A love played there early in the glovebox is loving this. But boy something that we need to discuss. I hate to bring it up RA what happened with that Instagram filter video you are getting heat online fans. I mean, I don't I don't know what to people need to know. P. You guys want me to play the video real. Let's let's hear the audio. Yeah. It makes you don't play level puke again. Be two. The. Day two. Oh, let me tell you quickly before. I get your explanation. I mean, I went to bed early and I wake up, and I got text and tweets in. What is this? What the fuck, and I watched it and right when I saw the filter you had on my son was in my arms. I almost dropped him. I said book away, and I didn't want him to see what you look like singing. What was that? It's fun. I thought actually gonna get throat with you guys forgetting, honestly, I was going to go doing Instagram live. I like doing that like taking questions from the listeners and stuff. It's it's pretty fun doing on that. And I was I'm still kind of an Instagram newbie as you know, and I was scrolling through and I was fucking around the filth is. And I just hit the I hit the one with the fucking dog is come up and they hit the next one in right? When I see I started laughing because I thought like Marilyn Monroe, and like my buddies to do that like as a joke, you would sing like that mala Monroe. That's what I was singing. You said you called this Mr President, Whitney, it's actually happy birth. But it was making fun of not making imitate Mel Marilyn Monroe from that famous scene wishy, basically cuts JFK and Frenna Jackie O when she sings happy birthday, and that self voice, I did it. I was going to send it to my friend. And I watched it, and I was fucking laughing so much like fucking, man. I'll just put it out that even mama wit you. So big, right? I mean, not really won the foliage one. Do I thought you might have been on like the hard drugs? No. I just I was freshly baked I was out looking at the physios. It was like it was backup, but the lights lit up and the police looked real nice. I was like this is cool. Isis. Fuck man. I'll make an Instagram video there got twenty four hours. Hano foul. Good. Plus, I love freaking people out, man. Little Mick Jagger, David Bowie and drudge, and he gets gets people that allow a little we had for some reason. Okay. Well, you nailed it you freak the lot of people out. But I'm gonna say three things three things. I think wits little jealous because you became a content guy. That's just me. Never never that only helps that I don't know. I don't know already your contact guy. You posted a couple of videos, and your, hey, it doesn't matter what they say about it as long as they're watching in the money's gonna roll in the more. You throw it those weirdo videos. I trust me. I know that. Well, I think Instagram's maybe showing that there's a side you people don't know. Like, I think you do some weird shit like. And I mean, there's a sign that back. But I think you do some weird shit now. Instagram people starting to see maybe how fucked up you really are kinda. Well, there is something that they don't know that he was actually gold dust. He retired. Now. He's just he needs us fix, right? Right. All right. Yeah. Little little gold last action. No, I'm guessing a lot of people didn't even realize it was it was kind of an an Omar Marilyn Monroe than anything. That's all. I completely just singing that song. But you got because not many grown men make homogeneous to Marilyn Monroe. Well, that's that's why I'm unique man now. And that is probably a pretty good point Nellie. Maybe if the women saw that they were like, oh, Maryland rears doing Maryland. I get it. But the men were just confused and already the last point I was gonna make even after all the negativity. You got you still kept that fucking video up for the. There ain't no chance. And I commend you on that. You didn't let them bully you off Instagram and I'm proud for that. So you're you're a soldier soldier, my friend. Thanks once Klein is in how the internet works. I've been on Basel forever. I know things fall to the graven. It's a fucking Instagram felt it's silly fine. It's goofing around. I thought it was funny again, if I didn't think was funny. I wouldn't put it out there. I love the ripple effect that kind of caused, but yeah, I know it's going to stay there. I'm sure twenty years from now I'll still be getting fucking twenty s the people just think things to head and it will come to head. That's probably how the internet will be back in another decade or so, but yeah, it was fun, man. No Hano foul. I'm sure it'd be plenty more witness that came from I hope while you're an MVP and my books and speaking of envy, PA's, you have failed or fucking hall and. Before we get to have a bone to pick with Halsey you heat your guts, he was making fun of my fucking eagle energy swipe up average and all that business. Let me just tell you hall Z winter, I spend the summer with Adam Oates making my fuck and comeback. I'll be sucking those eagle energies on the bench next season, the National Hockey like Lovie sucks back those Dr peppers. I'm skating circles around the entire league. So you better watch out. Mr. MVP 'em come for that ass, bro. So fucking. Oh. And speaking of Taylor hall eagle energy is going to be back next episode. They bought back into the ad reads. I am pumped. They still got the twenty promo code pump. And so all you eagle energy lovers or people who haven't tried it give it a test. I'll be throwing a swipe up on my Instagram so halls -i. This one's for you, buddy. And we're going to send it off to you now but fucking eagle energy baby. This interview is brought to you by quip one of the most important things we do health every day is brushing our teeth yet. Most of us don't do it. Properly. Quick is a better electric toothbrush. Created by dentist end designers designed to make brushing your teeth. Moa simple, affordable, even joy -able. I love the quips so much like I said before I don't like those cheapo brushes, then this gives you they they weren't good for the first two or three times. Then it's bristle city is spitting them out or any sank. None on though that doesn't have a quip quip loved the sensitive sonic vibrations on my gums people brushed to hod some electric brushes too. Abrasive. Not the stereo equip in you, gotta built into minute time pulses every thirty seconds to let you know one. Switch sides. You got a nice full and even clean because at the ninety percent of us. Don't brush teeth for the full two minutes. They don't clean them evenly. It's also got a nice multi-use cover him out on your mirror. Put it in you travel, bag, whatever whatever you need to do it declawed as you sink cabinet it made traveling with an electric toothbrush way easier. Also quip doesn't require clunky Jaya and it runs for three months on one judge. That's pretty sick. Brush heads a delivered automatically delivered on a dentist. Recommended schedule. Every three months for just five dollars so cheap camp beat it. Three out of four of us. Use bristles at old one ineffective inquiries. One of the first electric toothbrushes accepted by the American dental association has thousands of verified five-star reviews. I love quip again, because it's way better than those Cheetos that the dentist gives you or the ones that the drugstore via spitting bristles out doesn't happen with quip on the big quip guy that back by over twenty thousand dental professionals. A reason quip starts at just twenty five dollars. And if you go to get quip dot com slash chick lets you get your first repealed refill pack for free with a quip electric toothbrush that your I refill pack free at q dot com slash checklist. And now, I am so pleased so pleased to bring on my form of roommate. Absolute stud, four Stover all pick Taylor hall. Now, he's an MVP and bismuth didn't wanna take you take. Nick MacKinnon what's going on buddy? Not much. How's it going nothing? I mean, I I want you to tell biz to folk and take a hike. The car salesman biz. What are you selling today? Man. Zing. Are you asking about time with herbal active? He talked about the eagle energy. I don't know man it in the Instagram. It's just. It's a constant sales. The good for cozying halls. The I didn't fuck and make millions of dollars playing hockey. I after escrow paying my agent and picking up all the bottle service. I had like a hundred grand left. I know I just give it to you, buddy. All I think you do have a career in car sale doesn't work. Oh, yeah. Used? Yeah. Is this is this? Are you still am I under attack for my comments about Nate? Mckinnon. No, no. I'm just trying to get it to all. We love you have it. I hope you never forget that he wanted to know. I all remember that day. I'd I. You are long metal. So I went to the NHL media day, and I was doing a segment calls what's in the box and halls. You are not down with that. No. If anyone seen this. I mean, it wasn't what I expected. I actually a live animal to be in there. But I'm just I'm not down with exotic red piles and all this stuff that guys were doing that was not mean so sorry about that. Oh, that's fine. No. But I would have put a reptile in that box. If you did it. You would have more because another time another time you kind of snub me was at the NHL awards. When I was there, not a big deal. And and you collected that beautiful piece of hardware. When I didn't do your top golfing. Yeah. I asked I asked Halsey to do a little top golf. Actually, I had to settle for. Brayden mcnabb. Same thing. Well, I'm inside a lot going on. I mean, the pool's up a lot of my time. So. Really wasn't able schedule. So actually, I'm curious because we haven't even talked and so long what you're I could see you just panicking before the speech. Gimme what's going through your head when you want, and then you actually have to talk. You did a sick job. But I was shocked. I was shocked to was almost like welfare old school. You know, you just like a deep breath after you're done. And so, but no, honestly. A whole speech written out and in the awards were going and going through awards or the last ones kind of actually early. Remember when the lengthy was. But I knew I wasn't winning the Lindsay. So it's more about the heart folk than anything and guys were going up there to do their acceptance speeches, and knowing was reading from a piece of paper their phone or anything like that. So I kind of panicked, and I, you know, every commercial break I'd bring out my speech, and I'd memorize part of it, and I managed to memorize kind of the whole thing. But there's still parts of it that I left out. I didn't really spend as much time thanking my teammates as I would have wanted to. But I kind of old rushed when I was up there. I wanted to just kinda get my spiel out and get off the stage and kinda just be done with the whole thing. But yeah, you're right. That's a pretty stressful time it more stressful than playing the games public. Speaking is no joke. That's for sure. All I'm not sure if people know you're the first devil to win the hot trophy. And I think what they've been there. Thirty six years now thirty eight years were you surprised one given the level and the deputy competition with so many worthy worthy competitors out. There that surprise you that you won. Yeah. See I was I was just really happy to be nominated. When when it first came out. I hadn't really even given any thought of of winning. Giving it the biz there, but him picking MacKinnon was that's who I would have I would have chosen. I mean the season that he had turned around that Colorado had. Just the skill level of player that he is. I thought he was going to win it. But you know, obviously, I was super pump to to win the trophy and to have my family and friends there to really celebrate with them. It was more of a. The moment for them than it was for me. I just I thought it was it was incredible just knowing you you, obviously, you're hoping and wishing for Stanley Cups. But you're also thought I wanna win MVP's scoring titles things like that. So to get an MVP are ready dude on beat the first devil ever. It was awesome. I was actually curious when you found out you didn't win the Ted Lindsay that must've been like, I definitely didn't win. It isn't it usually the same guy. Yeah. I mean, that's what you'd you'd think. But I didn't really think that I was gonna win that. I actually did think that mcdavid win the ten Ted Lindsay. That's who I voted for. Yeah. You just never really know until the votes come out. And and another thing else as I definitely think eastern bias help me against the McKinnon, Nicole Qatada. You know, there's so many more writers that boat on that on that trophy based on the east coast, and they were able to see to claymore, and that was definitely my favorite. But yeah, with like you said, it's it's incredible. Think about winning an MVP trope, but there's still some other things after Hosie was it a little overwhelming after the fact that you want maybe with media requests, maybe endorsement deals and now like managing your time. And of course, trying to stay focused to to keep up with the pace that you had last year. Yeah. You know with thing to a podcast that you guys are doing and kind of Chirpin me my subway and personal. But it was you know, the summer with a little bit more busy with that stuff. But not nothing crazy. I definitely want to stay focused and commit too much time to back that stuff. It's important to. To come into the prepared and motivated in focus, and I feel like I've done out and play also. Ause? He plays way the trophies different Lindsay would in the hot trophy because once voted on by UPS, and the others voted on by media who may not have the same knowledge of the game. You think this is a different between them. Yeah. That. It's really cold out respect to your peers. And to admit that as a player, you're more inclined to to hold that trophy higher regard than heart's all at the same time. You know, whether you're out for both or just one it's you had a good season. So this really fun night altogether. Let's talk about the start. You guys have had this year. Holy shit. You guys I wouldn't say surprise a lot of people because you guys have assault squad. But fuck that start. You guys have had that must be a good time in that locker room right now. Yeah. We're doing it right now. Our coach really has a hard training camp that he puts us through. And I think it really gets us really per the start of seasons. If you look at. Even two years ago when we didn't have a great team. We still started off really hot wheel able to come out at teams and really surprised speed in inner pizza place. So we're getting unbelievable cutting right now with Kinkel and that and it seems like we have all four line scoring each of meeting. So that's really what you're seeing. And it's all like we played poor teams. We played really good really good hockey so far this year, and it's been fun. Then just to think about the turn on that. I've experienced in New Jersey from the time that I got here. Tell now it doesn't even like the same energy a locker doesn't even feel like the same kind of teams like energy. Yeah. Yeah. The BB energy is. That's right now. Paul Mary frigging, he's buzzing around looks like he's ten pounds lighter. He must've shaved his back. He's he's one the Harry, speak what ever seen. Use the little rain for Halloween a couple of years ago, and it was like costume ever made for him. So. And that guy he's so fun to play with. He's such a natural goal that when he gets in a groove. His shot. Always seems to find hold always seems to find corners. And like I said a lot of fun to play them. You start in the air in Europe had an effect on on the hot start sometimes teams go over there. And they might get jetlagged drag a little, but it didn't seem to have any any adverse effect on you guys. How was that? Yes. Europe was awesome. So we started out in in Switzerland. And that's an amazing country. I'd never been there before just the culture the food the atmosphere of the people there, everyone is so nice, and they speak for different languages. So you're you're able to really converse with everyone. So started out there. Played played an awesome game against that. Seabourn Putzer in this crowd with amazing seventeen thousand people, and I think like twelve or thirteen thousand people were standing room only just looked like absolute generate and the crowd having beers. And having a great time. They were they were sold out from the start a warm up. And that was a really good time from there, we went to Sweden, and yeah, this really ready for the start of the game in game against ten and our focus. Really just you know, how do we do we limit Connor mcdavid? And how do we play against the team that has a lot of speed and firepower up front? So always weird playing Edmonton for me still and start out the year in Europe and to share the same old Adleman ten and all their fans stuff was a little bit weird from being. I thought it was great for our team. Just the bond a little bit to travel where each other for for a long time at Surtees, and you guys know that some of the best times have have long road trips start season. So you can get used to the guys again, gopher dinners. All that kind of stuff is really good. For her bonding. I think it was a great experience for all of us imagining the boys had a nice little night after the big win was a Stockholm. We're in Gothenburg all involved in burbs. Yeah. It's like it's a rainy rainy city on the west coast of Sweden. But yeah, we we definitely went out a little bit after the game there, and and had some fun. But yeah, it's always great to get the guys gather on the road, and and just a few other out and get this new thing going that way. It's awesome. I don't know if I'm pretty sure you were there. It was at the start of the year when we started the the game's over in Sweden against oughta that was my first ever NHL game where you not on the team with Pittsburgh. Then I'd wanna my nine nine ankle injuries at home with homes goes, hey me. So we are the in Stockholm, and I met some girl at one of the parties we had early on the trip, and you know, obviously, I don't have to sleep with her. Well, she started. She started stockings -ly. She started stalking me on the trip. The next day at practice. It was an open practice. She showed up and bought one of those world premieres, and she was on the glass. So when when we were doing our loser laps before practice every time I would skate by her spot. She would get up and start banging on the glass, and I'm fucking rookie. So I'm so embarrassed and Brooks or pick is just a loving this. They ended up making me lead stress. Even even -tarian thought it was funny and she short to the hotel during the day. And kept calling the room. It got pretty pretty scary. And she was like a nine and they're all wondering at the end, which is gonna be. She's a Swedish nine that's insane. I would kill for a sweet where a lot of the boys. Getting stocked over there maybe to get locked out and brought over to North America. I didn't see anything like that. I don't we've we might have one or two single guys in the whole team. It's kind of the leaks changes that way, man. Yeah. It has definitely had I'm guilty of it too. So who are the single Guiseley? It goes house would single. No, no, no. I think we're the single guys Don Quenneville is single. And I think he might be the only one king Kinkaid on and off single. We can really tell he's in a really as like me. What Zach Zach is a how you say his last name Zakho. Yeah. The clowns in the locker room. Kincaid a clown in the room. Yeah. You can be a bit of a cloud. I'd say the biggest client. We have right now is John Quenneville. Anyone watched the the pine the glass series on the NHL network. Use star of the show. I think they had a mic up every game and every practice and every meeting just because he's kind of the energy in the room, and as always making black Nick always fun when if the young guy like that, a young single guy and got utha. Pretty awesome. Is he is he on those dating apps? He's the only single guy, obviously, he's not just going out by himself. Yeah. I don't. I don't know. I don't know what he's got going on his phone. Maybe just into. Hey, you live in Jersey City was that last year. Yeah. Jersey City I've been in the same place all three years. I've I've played jersey. It's pretty awesome. Yeah. I was I was actually just in Seoul today. We have the tail off and other than soul walking around took the bath back to Hoboken and then on my way back to Jersey City. But yeah, it's a great place to live. I was gonna ask you it seems like you've really started the love living there. And even when I'm there for work. It is nice. You can call around so easy into the city is Hoboken like where you're going to dinner their restaurants Jersey City in shit too. I spend most of my time Hoboken. Yeah. But been awesome. And, you know, just hop into the city quickly no walking around SoHo or going to dinner in the west village, all that kind of stuff is mice escape or just kidding around and your -partment, and you know, what hockey all the time. So I mean last last week we can have played golf on the berms in New Jersey like there's two different places really a collision New Jersey live near near New York City or you can live out in the burbs. Where it's where it's really nice and great great spot the glass, here's really enjoyed it. Do any seekers recognize you on your on the trains, either the path like New York City subway autograph hounds? No, I I've never seen any autograph seekers on the train. If anyone recognizes me, it's a quick, no, go devils, or you know, a couple people came up to me. And gave me nuts and said MVP that kind of thing, but people have been awesome. And it's you know, as you guys know pretty nice to be an honest in this part of the this part of the country. There's so many sports teams. There's so many, you know, famous people kind of stuff. So I feel like I'm at the low end of the comb poll, and it's nice to blend in a little bit. It's awesome. So it's not like the the team Halloween party with mcdavid text me today said that you you put a mask on when you guys were ended up going out in public, and you put a mask on and you were like dancing with all the locals and getting in their faces and having a good time. Yeah. Had to do that once or twice on Halloween just to kind of blend in a little bit. Yeah. That's funny that he remembered that that's that's all the dirt. He had on you. That's it. There's no dirt. All we actually know what there is on his feet from when we were in Kabul. It's unbelievable go golfing. He forgets his golf shoes. Sandals on unlike launches go. Buy some golf choosing. I don't want to buy all she's like two hundred and fifty bucks looking end up signing. He's gonna make one hundred twenty million ends up golfing in his in his bare feet all day cuts. His foot opened he's in the sand in the mud all day. No shoes on the cheap. That was my reasoning that I didn't wanna pay money. Yeah. You like I don't want to spend two hundred fifty bucks. They're all other shit. I'll never wear them again. Bad. I should've just fog all his alsi. Elaine Nazar dean, he's still obviously with you guys defense. Coach, correct. Yeah. He's defense and PK so two things. I I never really get close to learning a boat. He. Yeah. He was he was my first pro captain as well with the Wilkes Barre does. He does he still kind of have that that funny edge too, many comes a locker room so wants to be one of the boys. Yeah. He's he's a great glued and. Yeah. Like you said he's got from swagger to. But honest, you're snowed. I think he's done a great job with their penalty killers top ten Hoster, and we'd played played some really powerplay so far this year and done a great job. So I feel like he does a. Does a solid job with our young defense and getting them to learn the game. And all that he he's been a really good guy for team if you like. Oval all the last few years guys we've seen like post game team awards they've sought to become a regular thing. Locker rooms, you know, sometimes it's a chain are like Broadway. Like, they had New York wrestling belt wrestling belt pause. You guys actually picked yours up to this year while you are in Europe. Correct. Yeah. I wanna tell you audience when it is. Okay. Yeah. So this is crazy. I I'm not sure if like the casual hockey panel know this but in Switzerland the leading score leading point get her on each team. He wears jersey that set top score on it and has planes all over it doesn't name on it anymore. Andy also wears a helmet as yellow in Ames on it. No matter what. Caller, your team's jersey jersey you wear so we kinda picked one of those up in Europe. And now, that's our our our on bear in award. We always we always try to recognize after a win. No, maybe things that don't show up on the score sheet. But I really valuable in our locker-room block shots or killing Nobis or just a store and in a players and the team side that kind of thing really goes on locker room. So we picked up, and it's funny. I mean, it's it's it's obviously for a guy with a huge head, and and green are capping wanted a couple of nights Goni, gut it tiny. Hey, you've probably doesn't even fit into a seven baseball cap size his head time. He put the helmet on. He was swimming in it. But yeah, the great award for to give out after games did woods get it after that scrap with Jamie. Ben. No, no. He didn't that was that was one of those fights where you're kind of on the bench ears open that both players get out of it on skate. Like, there's no there's no knockout. There's no like huge punch because both those guys. You know, they have that crazy side, you're they can both go a little bit read sometimes. And then I was just happy players where we're kind of safe after that one. Hey, buddy. I'm curious. What did you think of that Matheson suspension, you kind of on the side, right? Let's protect players or did you think it was a little little Bs. I mean, it was kind of unassuming play to be honest, but I can see where there'd be a suspension, I could see where there'd be you know. No, call at all. But you know, that that Patterson in Vancouver is on ryobi's even guys I feel like it doesn't take a whole lot of really thrown down when you get off balance like that. So I don't know talk play and hockey such a such a fast, you know, that it's really hard to make decisions like we actually had peril to the all the suspensions. Yes, she came in for our locker room to talk to the other day. I think he's trying to make the rounds to every different team the league and kind of to be more engaged players and have more of a cake on you know. All suspensions are and beacon due to avoid them. And you know, it's kind of hard on. So seeing him in person was it was really cool. You know, maybe ask him a couple of things on on how you can eliminate the headshots what you can do as a player, you know, wanna be physical on the team. But you also on be you don't wanna hurt anyone. You don't want to give anyone concussions you to be suspended the hockey do that. Necessar- way. He talked about as a player with the puck, avoiding them. Have you have you had any contact with Adam Oates or maybe any guys on the team because he's big on that as far as avoiding the contact in the Middle East keeping your head up. Yeah. I'm good buddies with teddy Purcell who's you know, his the I talked to them or. Yeah. I mean all about having, you know, puck position in in good spots where you don't have to have your head down. That's the biggest thing is is you know, the second you put your head down and open to to look for fumbling bucket. Anything like lever? Cellphone number one. And what you do is you put other players and bad spots. What I'm that is. No if they're coming to hit you in and that the last second your head down. And it goes in back, I shoulder, you know, some of the has got to be on you the Bill the more aware not. And that's why the ice. So that yesterday where we're just trying to play hockey hard and fair, but you don't want to have any suspense Yona have any cuts that stuff, really sucks. Palsy one quick question about that helmet. Didn't prime boil when it one life a blocking Ovechkin shut while you guys are up six nothing is that true. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. That's the kind of stuff that we're looking to devalue that with that helmet last game canker wanna just because second set of year, and how always played and and he's really been the back of our team yet, you know, boiler blocking shot up six nothing preserving shutout, and and Tom, you know, making our PK guys have a perfect night against Washington. That's kind of what Rafter for sure I still I think would have had to call a little bit of a Harto block in that shot of that just shows he is. Yeah. I love boiler. But yeah, you can go a little Harto. I did. Well, thank you so much. We really appreciate this up. So proud, I know that sounds kind of weird. But what you superstar you turned into no surprise. So it's great to talk to you. And hopefully, we'll catch up soon. All right. Thanks, boys. Politics. We patch. Things up buddy. If you need herbal active. Just just hit me up. Hit me slide in my dams bills. Wipe up the freeway there. I can help you too. All right. Thanks, guys. Okay. Thank you very much. It's my old roomy Taylor hall MVP well-deserved. And I'm so glad he basically says fuck you biz you just I don't agree with the fuck illegal energy. But I loved that. He hates you. Now. He probably always remember that you didn't want him to win MVP. So I'm thrilled with that. And he's also buzzing this year. Boys. Taylor hall Nico here sharing kalpa mayor absolutely lighting it up this year. I mean combined thirty seven points on the year Halsey with thirteen here. Sure with ten culpa Mary's lighten it up with fourteen nine goals five assess where do you guys think they rank as you know, one of the top lines hockey right now? The right up there. I def definitely taught five if not top three I still think Colorado's Renton McKinnon. And why am I missing the last name land the only two on the line? No 'cause Landis hog so hard. He may. And yeah, they're number one to me. But the jersey line Palmeria like I said, I mean, you get some of that body hair off you and all of a sudden you just get such a six shot to mazing release. That's that's a hard. That's a that's a difficult line to deal with put it that way. I kinda agree with you that call and Colorado was probably top notch right now. All three of those guys. I think they're on the top eight of any gel scoring right now. And it's great now, we have so many lines. Like, I mean, we're talking about every team have at least one stud, and we got a lot of teams three forced is where they can put on a line in dominate wouldn't see tons of that one of the quick, no, boys. We didn't mention there is a hearing Brennan Lemieux on Monday for his head on Vincent tro checked. I dunno if you guys caught that coast kind of a glancing blow, but it looked like the head was the principal point of contact. What's his name MacKenzie? Wego went after brow Lemieux after they had a nice little scrap. So he's probably going to be looking at a game or two friend of the program. Vincent tro. Check. We hope you feel better. We hate. This guy's hitting the head. So we'll have an up. Eight on that on the next show. Lem us one of those guys he plays on the edge. I mean, I'm sure he'll learn his lesson. When do we got that from? Yeah. That's true, boys. One hit that. I fucking did not agree with the Ian Cole. The ended up getting kicked out of the game for a very clean hit on Calgary. I forgot to say his last name Jovan on hausky Jankowski. God, I always get stuck on that one. Great kid, you hung out with ski. We gotta have job on here. We will all reach all reach out. I'll send up the bat. I I talked. Yeah. It's off subject. But here we're reviewing basically everything else in league in order to kick a guy out of a game for a clean hit. Like fuck. Why not throw reviewing those types of things. I don't know. Your guy's thoughts. Yeah. I I wouldn't hate that. I mean, there's a lot of reviews as it is. But that lem you hit though, so unnecessary and MacKenzie Wego. I dunno business. He does he fight. I mean 'cause 'cause lem you if he is if we is tough Lemieux's look pretty tough to he was shocking both hands he handled himself. Well, already you ended up texting me in. I think it was preseason when l'umuganda scrap with the player from Dallas. And they. They were just chucking bombs. Oh, he's a tough customer. I think he's going to be a good role player in this league. I would compare them to a poor man's Matthew Chuck that would be that's where I I mean is that a good comparison? Is that fair Lou that that will remain to be seen? Yeah. Paschi buddies sport score a little more. If he's going to be in that category. I'd say the question is I think refs probably erring on the side of caution especially that hit the clean hit. You know, by Bennett, come in and defend his teammate had a scrap. But yeah, it was a clean hit that shouldn't even have been a penalty level on getting tossed out of the game. But, you know, refs think they're probably frazzled, man. Okay. We'll do not call. We call it. I think they're probably gonna call it. Like, I said earning on the side of caution. It's fortunate that a guy gets fucking tossed out of the game. When when he did not that run. Also, man these guys fucking fight between vises and helmets. God bless you. Do it. How do you do that? Like, not break a hand every time this, I don't know. I never really thought about it. And keep in mind when I was playing at the National Hockey League level monta big deal. There was not many visors. Most of the guys I was fighting didn't have them. And I don't think there's any denying here that we thought the lem you hit was a little over the edge and he'll get suss for but speaking of filthy. Did you guys see that behind the back pass by Johannesson? Aw, that was one of the nicest passes I've seen in a long. I love player celebrations on dishes, like debt Yosi right away. Just pointed out they slammed just guys like holy fuck. Like, you're just right away. Same with best. Or did it with Pedersen's dish off the wall? That would have been an icing that such a sick play the city and started doing that by the way back in the day. But same thing Besse turnaround, dude, what up as you. I love you. I'll make more money. Herbal act of hand job middle of the ice stroke in them off. I still I still think that is. I would rather give a guy the sickest happen. Like does zero work everyone. Just immediately says water pass then score a goal. That was how I always felt your giver, maybe because I had a Muffin to your giver. But if you're a fan, you gotta you gotta be cycle. You you lose the deans. And now you've got these two guys who looked like a pretty dynamic duo already, man. That's that's a hell of a replacement. If that's the way things play out. Oh, Jake for tannin starting to find his stride to a good young group there. Those those two guys they sign the off season and beagle and Roussell those are I know they got overpaid a little bit. But those are all right. Keep some guys play play on the edge a little bit. Keep those guys safe. What's up? All right. Have you seen? It's an online thing. Every everytime. Jake scores a goal Virtanen. Yeah. They jut beers. It's like, I I forget what the hash day Judd for Jaco, whatever it is. But every time he scores a goal people in the arena jug. The as posted online. It's pretty funny collaborative thing. Going on kind of like they were doing in Unika during the call their Cup run. When we play them in the finals where the when they would score the one guy in the crowd would take his prosthetic leg off putting more the rest of your there and chug it out of it. Shit every goal. They. Yeah. My buddy came to watch the games. And it was one of the craziest atmospheres I've ever seen at the one you one. Yeah. We ended up winning five. But I mean the series felt a lot closer than that. And we had to play. We went to three two three the play three in a row there and holy shit. Man that auditory was rocking. Speaking of Rockin, Helsinki was rock and for the world premiere games. Those guys played back to back for the Panthers against the Winnipeg Jets are boy Yandell was on Waco of trip to Finland bud. He probably spent Tanguay particle bags, some shades. Couple pairs of shoes finished shoes he could rock him. Also lying. There were whispers. Let's go online a Jesus Christ. Get it back L Saiki. They showed him with Barkov eaten those buffalo wing. You looks like he loves buffalo wings the professional sauce overs. Handy. Didn't give a shit. He goes out get the hat trick. And then the goal the next day in the second game that might have been one of the sickest snapshots I've ever seen. I mean, he's not that close to the goalie uses demand the screen, and it came out of the net quicker than it went in. So he's flying. Now, all of a sudden after quick trip back home. He's leading the Winnipeg Jets and scoring goals in goals. They should say boys before we move on. Herbal active ad read. And they remember the story told about yens messing with the guys new flow when he grows new head back. They will like all what about that story told them that they said the guy's name. And I'm like, I didn't know what the guys name was. Then I found out. It was a dude. I know I was fucking Holland. I that that story a lot of play. Now that guy who's who's carrot was his friends have been all over him since then WinCo we just put that on the fire a point per game. Is he leading their team in scoring right now. So he's just guys like Benjamin button. Just getting better every year to chew goals in an assist when he was over in Finland and boys since such a fun fact kind of mood the coyotes who are a wagon road. You wanna give me in listen even early on when they were out shooting opus? He's fucking idiots. Like, okay. So clearly somebody's not watching the games coyotes are actually more offensively productive this season on the penalty. Kill scored seven goals shorthanded on thirty eight short handed situations, which is eighteen point four percent debt that is insanity on the power play. They're five thirty four which is clicking at fourteen point seven percent. So that's just an insane stat. Hey business a lot of guys in the bench. Given it the old when they get the power that CLYDE it. Prefer we defer but shadow to Grabner in Richardson who've been leading the way that Grabner can move. I didn't watch much when he was playing over in New Jersey in New York was with the Rangers for a little bit. I pay with both of them with the islanders as well. So he's played on all three of those teams. But he's been unbelievable Brad Richardson's. Just a little wily veteran gets the job done. Good on faceoffs block, shots, just a Swiss army knife. How about the Canadian teams? I know we don't usually don't play that if the playoffs not today game this early because it's ridiculous too. But six of the seven Canadian teams are in a playoff position right now. It's going to be interesting to see if that holds and now let's give a shutout tuck in New York island is what would here and Thomas, Greece. He's been playing out of his mind. The last few games the island is leading pretty strong, metropolitan metropolitan division. Jerry's to see if that holds as well there are Shirley surprising people have to losing virus. We talked about a boy's the parody in this league is out of control. Troll. It's great to see the game is thriving. And that's pretty much. All I got for today. You guys got anything else? You wanna wrap up with was was Ramsey. A good guy. Oh, that's right. My Nashville experience. First and foremost, thank you to the Nashville predators organization. What is Asian? They're unbelievable. They rolled out the red carpet for me and Pasha who ended up filming the NHL first-timer segment that was the first one we did to kick off the entire series. We did it with of course. Jalen Ramsey, who is who I guess ruffled some feathers with his comments that he could make the NHL in six months. Unbelievable guy. He brought his beautiful Offerman. They just had a child. She was. She was unbelievable sweetheart. He was such a nice humble guy. He just likes to stir the pot. He's smack talker. Just like most CB's and wide receivers in the NFL. He was. Yeah. I mean, I got that. But was he? Was he asking questions about the game? Was he like was he shooting the shit with you gotta be like a little bit of like Harto. Staying quiet. It was like really genuinely you know. Curious about hockey. But absolutely not. He was unbelievable in the moment. Got there. And we we asked a lot of them. He was he was on the NHL the game feed. He got an interview between one of the periods. We brought them to meet Poile in Johannesson Yosi's box, which they donate to charity some games. They have kids come in just through and through an unbelievable experience. We got there for warm-up. Everybody's crowd along the glass, all the guys are knuckling fans along the glass. Like there was there was some special needs kids in the front row peck arena came over every fucking time you made a loop and gave a knuckle to this one guy. I think they have a strong connection. They must have of met before the game or something. But they just have it figured out in similar to the Zona coyotes organization. They're very forward thinking they like pumping. Oh, content and giving the fans as much as they can for the amount of money that they're paying the come CDs. Athletes play and Poile. Came over and offered. Jalen Ramsey contract. Anti offered me a PTO. So that's the start of my comeback so halls even watch out buddy me, go energy, and Adam Oates are gonna fuck and take on the NHL Shelby skating circled around. You said it's a first time as club who's who's behind that. Is it sounds stupid? But someone who's never been on NHL game before taking them to a game as simple as that sounds, correct. We figured it would be a good way to kick it off because of his comments you want to show him down to the lower bowl. How fast the game actually is? Like was he like holy shit. This is different than I thought. Oh, yeah. I mean, he's he's watched games before on TV and stuff. But yeah, he was very impressed and gave him a pretty good view of the entire experience. Yeah. That's all. I thanks again to the national predators organization. I got to go down and talk to the guys afterward PK sue ban, of course, met Jalen. They did a jersey exchange, and he he has a charity as well. Fucking forget the name of it. I think it's called like the basically they introduce police officers to under underprivileged children, and they get to meet and get to be more comfortable around cops because you know, like the stigmas like when you see a cop on your kid. You're thinking like oh shit, and you tense up. He's trying to he's trying to be proactive about that. So shut up the PK sue ban. Just everybody was awesome. And it was a great experience for me. Yeah. Granola blog about that. The the kid like you said underprivileged killing the cop go to dinner either before or after the game they sit together during the game talk. It's it's a real real great thing. He does like I said my blogging awhile ago. So good stuff. Good stuff is. So that's all I got for brand. When will we get to see that video biz on it should be out by the end of next week? Wanted out quick so Pasha my boy shadow to posh Ascii. The guy me film business does BC. He's going to be chopping it up next week. And hopefully, it's out it's going to be able to five minute video. We got some some fun stuff in it. So hopefully, you fans enjoy and shadow shadow to you as to before we started recording here. I asked him busy rip it up Nashville. He's like, Nope. Just doing so much work. You're all about that content. Just working your decorative your body. So good fee of biz. Got to keep up with RA, man. Fig medusa. That's that's all I got boys.

It's great because he didn't realize anything can happen. Get headphones on he could totally. The call. Of course. I would hear it. But yeah, come to think of it. It was rather loud. Okay. News and notes from around the league presented vice sleeper. We'll we'll jump through the news. And then see how much time we got left. I have a quick question idea for us to. But Nick foles Mike you talked about this two days ago. He bought out his twenty million dollar option for two million dollars. Wouldn't you love to be in the position life where you're like, I'm gonna pay you two million dollars to not pay me twenty million dollars because he's going to get paid a whole lot more than twenty million dollars. He is now a free agent. He'll be now the eagles could still this is where it's interesting. The eagles could still franchise tag him. I don't believe they will. None of the indications that I've seen indicate that they will. So I expect it falls to just be on the market and pretty much the best quarterback available in free agency. Yeah. You probably gonna have Ryan tannehill out there in free agency. You're going to have Joe flacco available. You'll have to trade for flacco, sir, sir. But why wouldn't that be a bargain to do? So. Depending on what you pay it. Terms of your yearly impact is going to be higher on a guy like Nick foles. And then Joe flacco. Yeah. But it depends on how much you like winning. Why was he say who would you rather have Nick foles Joe flacco, Nick foles? I would rather have flacco. Yeah. I I would much rather have Nick foles, but I would interest much rather have neither? You'd go with no quarterback. I would go with any. I mean, I I don't think either of them are the answers to a franchise at this point in their careers. All right rent Rams coach Sean McVeigh said Todd Gurley does not require season surgery. How I know. This was getting a lot of play because this was a news. Blurb good news Todd Gurley doesn't need off season surgery for the injury that they insisted he doesn't have. Like how how is talk. How were they when they're talking about him not having surgery? Well, it was born when you've been insisting for a month that he's not hurt that is kind of interesting, right? It's like answering the question shouldn't exist. Exactly. They cannot. I mean, quite a predicament. I know a lot of people are saying, oh, it's gonna come out that he was injured. He's dealing with stuff. All the time. I'm thinking they literally can't even if he is they can't because he wasn't on the injury report for several weeks. So becomes out that he was injured. They'll be in trouble for that. But based on this news. Our new section is now going to be two three hours long because I'm going to start like saquon Barkley not having surgery. Oh, that's great news for any injuries. He has or has not sustained Andrew Lux throwing shoulder is not a re injured either. There was a lot of worry. Maybe he would re-injure that this season has not had it's good to hear Greg Olsen. This was news today confirms that he wants to play in twenty nineteen. Because because lighting through foot injury is his jam. Also, I believe that Jason Witten has sabotaged Greg Olson's chance to get into the booth immediately. Now, I mean Olsen should be back. So he'll be relevant. If he's on the field. He always is. But if he's not on the field less relevant falcons have released kicker Matt Bryant forty three year old mount Bryan dealt with injuries over the back half of the year. Moving another direction. It's one's a little while to me. I understand the injuries. But when he's on the field map, Brian is still one of the best kickers in the league. And as we have seen plenty of times this season. If you don't invest in your kicker position at the NFL, we're not talking about fantasy talking about having an actual good kicker on your team that bites you in the but more often than not fair enough. And then I don't know how much you wanna talk about this. But I might as well mention it. Yeah. Antonio Brown's lawyer is refuting that his client was involved in a domestic dispute last month. This was a TMZ sports report that he was involved in a domestic dispute and not arrested. Okay. You don't. I mean, we're no nothing. There's no information we're passing that on. Yeah. And then in rampant port talking about the raiders situation. Mike do you want to sum up what's going on? So Oakland, San Francisco California Oakland is looking for a place to play while the wait for the stadium in Vegas to be built. It was being reported that it was the deal was done. They were gonna go play in the giants in the San Francisco Giants stadium. The San Francisco mayor is not having any of that business. You're not bringing your football franchise down into forty nine or territory. So not even if they wear forty-nine jerseys while they do it. They don't even worse. Don't you diminish our products? So we'll see we'll see where Oakland gets to play. This is a mess. Yeah. Yeah. That would just take the year off just like pass twenty nineteen. We'll just we'll pass that was today's news and notes here on this show. If you hate ads on your fantasy app, you know, what sleeper does to you can download the best fantasy app on IOS and Android right now get sleeper. Here was the quick question that I so. Unkindly ignored at the top of the show who's the player that you are targeting in trades in dynasty leagues this off season. And why is there a name out there right now that you're you want our listeners to pay attention to somebody may be below the radar that could have higher value later on this offseason. Yeah. I I like targeting in this time of year really really cheap free options that their situations could improve to me, I really like John Brown. He's only twenty eight years old. He had a great sees. If you remember Tartu remember because the Lamar Jackson ravens barely used wide receivers. You know, right. Certainly not enough for anyone to be relevant for fantasy. But John Brown was great the beginning of the year. He was scoring. He was putting a big yardage. He was playing. Well, having great separation. He is now a free agent. So let me tell you some of the best free agents in this year's pool. Randall Cobb Neil, and Dante Moncrieff, and we're gonna use hers, Adam Humphreys, I really am. Really, Tyrone Williams. But my point is there's not like there's not like three or four big name tier one wide receivers where there's teams every year that need to spend and bring in another guy. John Brown will get paid. He will go somewhere to be the number two for that team at least, and he's gonna cost you absolutely nothing. No, no dynasty on right now is thinking like, oh, I gotta hold onto John Brown. That's probably true. Because I think there are you know, there's the question marks of where he lands and quarterback he has and whether I'll have a big role. They were you know, this was the same situation for John Brown last year and worked out where he found some place that he could become one of the go to guys for Joe flacco. I'm gonna feel Robbie Anderson and Quincy noon wasn't aim out there both of them Sam darnold coming into your to Adam days. You know, Ryan Haenel had his best years under him gays. Obviously, you had volume in the kind of probably the noon wall would be most similar to what. Jarvis Landry did the offense. And so I would just say keep your eyes on those two players Anderson late in the season came on had a streak of four plus games of being a number one white out. So he may be more difficult to acquire. But Quincy and noon wall having been hurt halfway through the year. He's an interesting name. They resigned him to an extension so Quincy noon, while would be a potential John Brown likes nam, you expect that offense to be better next year with year two hundred Arnold like. Yeah. Generally, if I'm looking to acquire a player, I want them to be in a. A little bit more of a solidified situation. So like Quincy where I believe in Sam darnold, I believe in him long term, and I think I can get a cheap weapon, and the fact that Quincy just signed his new deal has a young quarterback. I think that's a very interesting guy to go after the name. I'm gonna throw out is also cheap. So might be a little bit gross. When you hear the name, but stay with me Zeh Jones. Now, having everything I just said about how I want to have a stable quarterback, you know, that Josh Allens at least there for few years. We'll see if he can become the guy that buffalo thinks that he can become but zave Jones over the final five games of the season. He was averaging eight point four targets game. He scored five touchdowns in that time. I mean, he was emerging as a as the go-to guy. I mean robber foster was having those big exciting plays. But Josh Allen is going to need someone who is reliable and Zeh Jones young. They spent draft capital to get him. If you're recalls Jones was the second round pick. He had like that. We're off season thing. So so I believe moving forward. Zeh Jones is going to be a very interesting player for redraft. He's going to be a interesting late round flyer. And right right now, you can get him for probably pretty cheap. Oh, certainly I mean, people don't believe in zeta-jones because he had such historic bad, you know, percentage so far while he's been in the league. But if you remember his college production athletic profile, the draft capital spent he's coming into your three this. I actually liked Zeh Jones as a target. There's somebody that's going to catch the ball there. And I think as Amazon's he's under contract for one more season at a cheap price. He's somebody that I saw hit waiver wires in dynasty leaks. So he could be a free ad versus a trade target as well. Yeah. Those are some good names. Those are some good names. We ready to. Jumping Oxfam people. Yeah. Let's do it. How'd you do that? Actually, I'm not even mad. That's amazing. That's pretty good. I didn't remember what that one. Was there? You have it. All right. Ten shocking stats from two thousand eighteen and some questions for you gentlemen, as it pertains to them. All right, number one, titled QB, boom boomers, all right? All right in two thousand seventeen we saw only set. So this is two years ago. Seventeen total quarterback performances of thirty plus fantasy points and this is in four point leagues from weeks one through sixteen. In two thousand eighteen last year. We got that total in four weeks and saw thirty three weeks of thirty plus fantasy points nearly double the year prior. And so we saw some boom boom games from the quarterback position. Is this the new normal is this what you expect with the? You know, the return of Andrew luck and the ascendant MVP talents of Pat Mahomes, or do you expect it to be somewhere more in between the two thousand seventeen and twenty eight numbers? I would expect it to be inbetween. But if it's closer to any of them, it's the one we just got two thousand seventeen that's why we were talking about last off season of it was this weird year for not only for quarterbacks going but for wide receivers scoring cliff. There's a correlation if wide receiver scorings down generally the quarterback scoring is going to be down as well. With it in in this NFL where the rules are for the offense. It was so shocking to see what happened in twenty seventeen. I think this was a a swing a little bit too far. But you're right. Andy, Patrick, Mahomes himself is homes is going to skew this number just by himself. I I actually I think it'll stay. I think I think we'll stay at this level. You have a transformative time in head coaching hires. The attention to the Sean McVay success transition to some of these kind of manufactured offenses that have a lot of moving parts and are bending the offensive direction. So I think we're going to end up with thirty. You know, thirty plus performance, you we're getting more and more college systems. Yeah. Coming into the NFL, which you go back. I mean, even ten years ago aside from chip Kelly, but the thought of the NFL actually embracing what they're doing and call is they were they tilted their noses up. Oh at the possibility of the college system working in the end. We don't do what those loser. Yeah. The thing is if you look over a long period of time the trajectory for scoring an NFL continues to rise. But it's a jagged. You know, it's not just a straight angle because defenses catch up, and I so I'm less optimistic that it'll just repeat what happened this year because I don't think Pat Mahomes throws another fifty touchdowns next year. I think some of these things come back to earth, but two years ago was more than last year. I do agree with that. All right. The number two surprising shocking. Names. Funny. RB's matter. Yeah. The Chicago Bears and the Los Angeles chargers. Both had two running backs finished in the top twenty four right? Meanwhile, six teams didn't even have one running back finish in the top thirty including the jets, the lions the raiders the bills the eagles and the ravens. Of those teams that did not have a running back in the top thirty that. I just named. Ooh. Who are you most interested in for twenty nineteen? So you had the chargers, right? They had to the bears had to but. I think this is the if you look at the list of the teams that easy it it was it's easy for you of the teams that didn't have a back in the top thirty. Who are you most interested in why it's fine? Yeah. It's very easy. Okay. This carry on Johnson darn right? Is this the Detroit Lions, but the other names on the list? I just wanted to get that out of the way that I feel like that's the easy answer. But meanwhile, the eagles and the ravens they're both extremely interesting. Those are the two that jump out to me as offenses that. I'd want the running back piece for assuming it's established. That's the problem side of giant commend both of them. Right. I don't know. I don't know if we'll see in the stab worst one a guy for either of those t- neither teams seems to desire that they want. You know, the secondary guys involved. They wanted Darren sproles they wanna buck and they wanna Kenneth Dixon behind a bruising backbeat. But if you look at all these teams, yes, none of them finished with the top thirty. Every single one was due to injury. You know, you lost data. You lost kerryon Johnson. You lost Leshan McCoy at at times. And so next year which team of my interested in it's probably going to be. I mean, obviously carry on love him. But I'm going to throw the jets out there because they're going to make a splash of free agency. You know, I think they're one of the front runners for love belt. So it belt goes there. I'll be interested. All right, number three. This one's titled big wide receiver honchos going Hon. Do. Wow. That's what they I just left these titles in here. I like it. It's exactly what they did that got Honda in twenty. Here's the stat. And you Mike you can decide after you hear the staff in two thousand seventeen two years ago there were one hundred fourteen single week wide receiver performances of one hundred. Plus, we call those yards Missouri Honda hundred and fourteen hundred that's going Hon do j. Yeah. In twenty. Eighteen last season. There were one hundred and seventy two all we're going. That's three additional one hundred yard wide receiver games per week. Where you going Hon? Do I'm going Hon dough so you had in two thousand seventeen only three white outs that had five or more games of one hundred plus receiving yards. I was Keenan Allen Antonio Brown. Andre Hopkins last year, you had eleven wide receivers not three but eleven with five or more hundred yard games, Julio feeling Evans. Smith Schuster, Hopkins hill, atoms Beckham, Brown, cooks and T Y Hilton. And it's hard. I think to take the question is, okay. We had eleven let's say it's not going to be eleven. Let's say next year. There's going to be seven guys who out of that list that you just read. Yeah. Would not repeat because when I look at the list of Julio feeling Mike garden is hard to count anybody out. It really really is. I mean, you could argue doodoo Smith Schuster Antonio Brown. But he has huge monster games. You know, the the hundred Mark is something that that. I think he'll he'll often. I if I had to pick like, which we do this is the question out of those eleven names, let's say we try to pick two names that will that will that won't do it. And for me, it would be just playing the odds Brandin cooks, and I'm gonna throw Mike Evans because I think Mike Evans can have a huge impact on the field without one hundred yard games. But yes, those are the names I'd throw out there. I think you're. You know, I guess you guys could go Hilton. But Hilton is just a a magnet for one hundred guard games. I would go Adam feeling and Brandin cooks. Okay. Yeah. Feeling Hilton and cooks are the three guys that I think would have the most difficult time repeating what it's worth though, feeling had nine of them. Right. Yeah. Here not in that. When he started only had five when he started the year. I mean every single you know, every single game was one hundred yard performance. He broke the NFL record for that. So obviously great year, you know, not taking anything away from him there. But it was eight eight straits to start the season. So if you do the math that means the second half of the season, he only had one. Yeah. So that's why I lean out of now with the system change. That's a good point Hilton had five and he missed some time and wasn't healthy. So that's I think he's a long as Andrew luck. Is there? Yeah. He's good absolutely yards. Let's it's it's out there now. So you're, but is it acceptable. Is when you have he'll yeah. You scratch things from the record judge. No that let's do it. He's in on it. He didn't even make a ruling because he wrote it did you write this Brooks NAS Kyle. Okay. We saw a major resurgence in top in tight end scoring. Which could have been the name of the of the shocking stat in terms of scoring for tight ends. There were three tight ends who registered top fifteen all time season. So you had three all-time seasons. At the tight end position. Travis Kelsey fourth-best ever Zakar sixth best ever George kill was fourteenth. Best ever. We hadn't seen a tight end with a top thirty all-time in the last two years. So can any of these guys and we just had the tide intrude show on Tuesday. Right. Can Kelsey Erz or Kim can any of those big three tight ends improve on this year's other-worldly numbers. Because and I brought this up on the last show. This is not the same NFL. These it can be a little bit of a distortion to throw the best all time out there for certain players and certain stats. Because I think literally last year Kelsey broke the receiving yards record. And then kill broke it in the same end. Yep. Like, our leader that being said, can you improve on it? That's that's a different e. E e- very via tough ask for Travis Kelsey to improve. But yeah, considering he he didn't play week. He took the final week off. So theoretically, yes, he can improve. If anyone is going to improve though it would be kindle because the yardage will be there. Maybe not thirteen hundred yard. Maybe not the most of all time. Yeah. Maybe not that. But five touch sense, George Kibble can certainly improve on that area where he saw his cohorts. Kelsey was at ten Erz was at eight so eighty eight receptions, it could be up at one hundred in a PR league Dak ago. Yeah. He certainly could. And he's got an improving quarterback situations. He's almost he's like a hybrid of Kelsey and Erz, and he's also likely the cheapest. He will. Yes. So he has your saying is higher upside. And he's the cheapest the Lisa stab because Kelsey entrance have done it for multiple choosing. Is upside his ceiling can improve. I still would not say his upside is greater than Kelsey though. Okay. Are there any other tight ends that could jump into that elite to your next year? Ooh. That top three. That's I mean breslin. That's the question that wins championships. You know, if you can get the guy before the jumping, you know, dente kale. Yeah. Exactly spending this year Erz two years ago, when you hopped on those guys you won the first name that comes to mind for me is OJ Howard. You know, he was he was dominating when he played he missed a lot of the season. But he is a different. I mean when you look at the tight ends usually take take Erz out irks, just he's just an incredible talent that that you didn't really see coming. But you look at Kittle and and. Elsie, and they are physically like combine wonders these are guys that are bigger stronger and faster than all the other titans. And that's why they dominate. That's what OJ Howard is. He is a physical freak even among all the freaks of the NFL people need to realize the one thing that hurts and Kelsey have in common was people sitting on their microphone for multiple years. Trying to project them as being elite. I mean, it took Erz two years. Yeah. Two full seasons of disappointing fantasy owners four touchdowns three touchdowns under five hundred yards seven hundred dollars fifty eight receptions, before he had these big time years, and it took Kelsey awhile to member we were just waiting. You know, Kelsey got hurt. And then we're waiting for him to Zeus out. But so it could take some time Howard. It could you're right Howard. At least is in the category of could. But you could. Another year. It could be two more years. A six six ran a four five Hebron's not gonna do it Burton's not gonna do it in joke. Who like you brought up probably not going to do it. Hunter Henry probably not gonna do it. But at least you lease in health there. He's interesting. But no, I don't think there's somebody that just jumps out his. Yeah. It's going to happen next season for me. Agreed. I agree. Our number five this one is titled put the team on my back trick Mahomes another. Oh, good another bad one. That's that's two in a row. Look Kyle can find these stats Barrett. Tricked Mahomes trick Mahomes. No, not good the drum. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Kyle. He is not immune from the same of the rim. Shot. Now stats are hot titles are not the Kansas City. Chiefs running back group. This is what this means apparently the Kansas City Chiefs running back group. So this was a hunt for awhile and then the Williams brothers. They combined for twelve receiving touchdowns on the year that is as many as eleven NFL teams had combined at that position. So if you took the Vikings Texans Broncos bucks Seahawks titans. Packers lions Bengals raiders and bills. They're receiving touchdowns at the running back position. You put them all together. They're the same. They're the. So if the backfield is the Damian Williams experience next season, how many total touchdowns do you? See what is the high end ceiling projection for Damian Williams? I was going to go the other way, I was going to say what's his basement if he's the guy what's his floor his floor like what the worst you're going to get out of him. If it's his backfield. And that would be ten total touchdowns to me. That's the worst case scenario if it's his backfield. Well, I mean, the nation of on the ground and through the air, you're going to get ten there's there's too many touchdowns going around and Kansas City to not have a true single guy. Who's running the backfield have ten I agree with that. I now I think has Florida's much lower. Because I don't think he's going to be the guy. Certainly not by himself. But as far as sealing usually when you look at a running back and they're receiving touchdowns. A really good high numbers like six, that's that's yes, that's a lot. And so the fact that they had twelve receiving touchdowns total. This is part and parcel of my belief that Patrick Mahomes is not going to throw. You know? Let's say next year. Patrick mahomes. Throws forty touchdowns one. That's awesome. That is great. That's probably leading the league or or close to it your first or second. But it's also ten fewer touchdowns then he threw this season. And a lot of those. I think will come at the expense of the running back position. Just by the nature of what usually happens around the Golan. Now, I know you and the patriots have very interesting, you know, history right now with your bold prediction. But did, you know this did, you know, the Damian Williams? For he re-signed with Miami in two thousand seventeen he visited New England. And so Bella check was recruiting Damien was and he said, quote, I mean, and this is in the face of some things you've been saying about him quote. He's a good football player. Smart versatile. Can do a lot of things can run the ball. Can catch the ball can pass protect. We had a good visit with him. He was a good guy to bring in. Visit and get to know. He's not surprised is what I'm saying. Bill Belichick is not some Ryan. I mean, look they gave him mess coach and history. They gave him that offer. For a reason. You know, the the patriots said I offer nothing to you. Because they offer everybody. Look, he's an individual running back that was available. It's like, hey, why don't you stop in over here? We'll we'll take a look. Well, all right. We'll see I just I just wanted to how deep your head was in the in the Damien Williams sand. I wanted a little check this is still in your ears. It's veto thirty veep. Kareem hunt had seven receive. Ving touchdowns in eleven weeks. I agree with Jason that. If if a touchdown regression comes to Patrick Mahomes. That's the biggest place where it's going to happen. But. This is what they did. This was a game plan for the chiefs offense. When the got close to the goal line was the old the old shovel pass or the old tat pass made just counting as double for us. It was the it was kind of interesting to watch cream hunts beginning of the season right where we were concerned. I the running back -sition the first three weeks he had three targets total. Death in. But I mean, you also that are Travis Kelsey week one. I mean, the hose was getting used to the NFL got used to it. And and he certainly did that pretty quick. All right. Number six. It's a QB's world. And we just live in it. All right in two thousand seventeen there were six quarterbacks to complete sixty five percent or more of their passes. The stats crazy in two thousand eighteen there were twenty that completed sixty five percent or more of their passes. So the question is with completion rates higher than they've ever been. How does this affect fantasy and the importance of valuing the quarterback, and we ended in the qualifier for that. Was you had to play at least eight games yet? Oh, so this is not just in guy coming in for one game plan half in in relief. He was one on basically Jared Goff was right at the sixty five percent Mark and finished twentieth. In the statistic. Yeah. Yeah. I AM News going. I got. Okay. I'm doing with that sixty eight percent this. Yeah. Former Cam Newton his career high. Yeah. I mean this year, you saw something happened in the NFL as you know, as Andy said like chasing, the McVay style the playing into the new rules, and and the short passing involving Moore running backs and passing the total of if you take the average of all the starting quarterbacks and you look at their quarterback rating this year their average average was over ninety. That's insane. That's above like the career average of of a ton of hall of Famer. So yeah, I mean will this continue? I think it will this is where you know, where everything's going. But does does it change the value of quarterbacks and fantasy? No, not at all. Because they're all there yet. It's if it changes it for, you know, two guys, and nobody. Else's catching on then. Yeah. At that point, it might change how you wait those two guys, but everyone is catching on why Cam Newton's throw them for sixty eight percent Camnews throwing for sixty percent and put a poor fantasy performance relative to previous years when he had a lower completion percentage. Just all of the year. Yeah. I'm just saying it's not this one statistic, especially when spread out across twenty quarterback. It's just a rising water level in that one area for the quarterback position. But like you said doesn't affect. Yeah. Fantasy number five. Was was dare car on the season. He was. Yeah. He was he actually. Yeah. All right. Number seven of Artie renamed its target time. Oh, you renamed it. Yeah. Yeah. He's made no sense. There was this one. I like this. There were ten thousand nine hundred ninety five rushing attempts by running backs in two thousand eighteen okay. On average, a running back rushing attempt attempt yielded. Point six to seven fantasy points little more than half a point every time a running back. Gotta carry the exactly in a half point league. A running back. Target was worth almost double. So just a target to the running back was worth on average one point one seven fantasy points per target. Double basically, double the value not getting the ball handed to you. But just having even catching it, and I didn't catch us having it thrown your way and in a full fee PR as where two and a half times. Okay. So this is illustrating the value of a pass catching running back and so guys like Austin Accola, right? Last year. We just talked about the chargers having two running backs in that top twenty four Austin Ecuador theoretic name Hines. The Chris Thompson Thomson names white Kenyan Drake. Maybe Jalen Samuels for a part of the year knowing that Val. Knowing how much more valuable the target is are the running backs that we need to look at differently for twenty nineteen. How do you make the mental adjustment on a guy like James white who through many metric show him as the most people draft pick fantasy football this year relative to draft costs and he's a pass catching running back. Yes. It's kind of a trick question. Right. Because if you're saying how to so how do we change with this data? Then I would say not at all. Because this isn't surprising, right? We stat guys out in the ultimate draft kit for the last several years, and we give all of the value. All you know, we we know how much more valuable receptions are than carries. And so when you look at our rankings, they we have that built in. In fact, this crazy stat of you know, the fact that it was one point five six points per target in a full PR that was actually down from the year prior. You know? So I think that this is important if you don't realize how critical if you're out there in your new to fantasy or you're picking this up in the off season you wanted to get a head start. If you don't realize how critical pass catching is to a running back in Vanisi that's going to change everything for you. Here's the message to me. It's that we don't need to wait as long to buy into a pass catching running back only weapon that makes sense. Yeah. Where sometimes we've wanted to see more consistent snap counts or carry counts or rotation involvement. The value of a guy like us Necker. You could if you had made the decision to buy into some of that early. You probably would have gotten some nice weeks out of that. Right. So that's the message to me is that at any moment. One of these guys can turn it on as that type of player. Yeah. You're Duke Johnson's. Okay. I again, I don't know what this title means. Number eight day of the dumpster Mighty Morphin into wide receiver once now that is actually the title of the first ever Power Rangers episode is it. Yes. Which I why? So this is a deep one. Yes. This one's digging deep. We we will. This is Mike level stuff. Yeah. I approve. All right. There were twelve wideouts. That were drafted outside of the top forty according to average position the head stretches of at least four games so a whole month as a wide receiver one and half point leaks. So there were guys drafted deep deep deep twelve of them. Outside the top forty the had at least four games stretches where they were a wide receiver one. These guys are Robbie Anderson. Okay. He had a four weeks, man. Mike Williams, Calvin Ridley DJ more Kenny golladay Tyler Lockett to Sean Jackson, tyrel Williams, free agent. Albert Wilson Dante Pettis Adam Humphreys in Tyler Boyd all of those receivers were outside the top forty and draft position. All of those receivers had for week spans of being a wide receiver one at least four weeks. I mean in the case of some take Tyler boy, it was pretty much all season from week to through fifteen. He was a wide receiver one. So, you know, is there a name or two that jumps out from that list that you either played a lot in your roster that that you can answer the question. Do they feel like a wide receiver one to you? And are there some of these guys that you project forward both in draft position? But also in value that you think will be there next year. Yeah. The guy that I would talk about would be Dante Pettis. You know, I wouldn't. I don't think I win our dynasty league championship. If it wasn't for Pettus. I started him through that entire stretch. And it was it was it was good time to have your double flex scoring as a wide receiver one. I think he's got the opportunity to step it. It's not. It's not guaranteed that he's going to be the wide receiver one. Right. But there is an opportunity that he is garoppolos wide receiver one. I loved him coming out. He has a lot of film from college of just beating guys and open field. And then that translated and he did it in the NFL. So if you wanna take a guy and say, okay, who could who could really continue the trend and look when he did it. You know, it was it was the end of the year was weeks twelve through fifteen then he got injured at the very end he came into his own. So he's the guy that I will project going forward significantly higher than obviously where he was last way. He's interesting this. He doesn't get close to me. On wide receiver one potential the way that Kenny golladay does. And the way that I would look at probably Mike Williams. I think Mike Williams and kindergarten. I think have a higher potential of being a wide receiver one in fantasy than Dante Pettis. But he is on the interesting list. No doubt. Mike, do you have a name or two or do you agree or disagree on those guys? I agreed with with the thought process that Kenny both kindergarten and Mike Williams feel like wide receiver once far more than Dante Pettis. I mean, it's a and that's just the natural. Inclination. As of stature when pedestals a smaller guy. Kenny golladay and Mike Williams are both prototypical wiser slip through their big wide receivers. But both of those guys have alpha level players on their team. I mean, Mike Williams has Keenan Allen Kenny golladay has Marvin Jones Dante Pettis doesn't have that. Every PR Garzon is going to be back. We know that he will be back just contractually. I don't know if he'll be on the field very much, but he's going to be on the team, and I will take Pettus over our song. It'd be talking about Markey's good. When a lot more than I'd be talking. And then that was he was an exit one he was paid to come in in play a heavy role. Right. But then Kim they count George Kittle. Yeah. But well hunter Henry for Mike Williams. I mean, the by my point was simply that pet is of he doesn't feel like the one but his path to being the m-. Main guy on his team, and they could be a very surprising offense. Next year pet is is going to be a very sneaky pick. I would say that everybody on the list that that you read Andy Atlit outside of Sean Jackson and Albert Wilson. I really liked the entire list. I will target guys these guys in next year's draft because they showed in a stretch of games that they have the potential to significantly help my fantasy team. And and you know, I'll probably cut Adam Humphreys off that list. I'll really sad. Well, he's a free agent. Yeah. Product of you know, injuries at the tight emphasis again it, but he's you know, pronouncing Humphry you just want. I it definitely is. I actually think that our Wilson's intriguing at least. I mean, he he was paid to be a a strong part of this offense. It's coaches changing expensive situation changing quarterback. Yeah. I could he get a massive upgrade the quarterback. Position in Miami. It's at least inside the Roma possibilities now. All right. Number nine. J Grizz says stream your defenses. Wow. Yeah. Listen to the really. Yeah. The bears were the number one fantasy defense leading the league in defense and special teams touchdowns. That's why this is the name of this. This hot stead is born a mind right now. So they were number one fewest points allowed all of that being said about how dominating Chicago was the only beat the number two defense by two fantasy points per game. And the number seven through twelve defenses were only four points per game behind in fact over the last ten seasons only one overall number one fantasy defense went on to finish in the top five next year. So that's over the last ten years you only had one top five repeat the twenty fifteen twenty sixteen cardinals. I think the bears will do it. I think the bears will do it as well. I think the bears will still probably be overdrafted that I agree with that. Yeah. That that's a fact so. You know, we talk about every year. But it's streaming the defense's is streaming defense as the way to go. Yeah. It is. It is the way to go. You cannot invest high draft capital on a position that rarely repeats is in multiple years turnover. It's not just turnover at the it's really not even about the it's just about things like injury offense of performance the variable surrounding defense are there are so many of them if you lose one or two players on defense. If you MAC MRs does down for Chicago. Then the they'll still be fine. But your draft pick is is is definitely worth it. Yeah. And you've got you've got matchup problems. Whenever you've got a defense. Even your great defense. You know, are you going to start that defense against Kansas City and Pat Mahomes, or you know, that you've you probably would make a mistake to do that more often than not so streaming defenses meaning playing different defenses off the waiver wire and not committing to one. The whole time is you'll. You'll you'll you'll outscore oftentimes the number one scoring defense on the year because you're playing nothing but good matchups basically you're playing defenses, you know, against the bills every week or whoever. Pre Josh Allen die dominant. Yeah. Malian number ten this one's titled you get a touchdown. And you get a touchdown. Us down in two thousand seventeen hundred years. Touch that could be a touchdown. Under your chair in two thousand seventeen. There were seven hundred thirty eight quarterback passing touchdowns last year. There were eight hundred thirty four almost one hundred more passing touchdowns. Pat, Mahomes led the way with fifty Andrew luck thirty nine Matt Ryan thirty five Russell Wilson thirty five you had nine at thirty or above. So based on that statistic. If you believe that that number is a little high compared to what you'd expect if there's a surplus there who are some quarterbacks do for regression. I don't I don't believe that there is a surplus there. I think that the crazy gap is more indicative of twenty seventeen where you know, Mike brought up earlier how low it was now. Now, we talked earlier is it going to regress a little bit. Yeah. Probably and I would say the number one regret. Candidate. I would still put Pama homes are and that's to say he finishes number one in passing touchdowns. Just with ten fewer and still is is great. But you know, I look at most of the less would be number one with ten fewer like you said exactly if he had ten touchdowns he would rank one. So I think most of the guys on the list that through near thirty are going to repeat, and I see some guys that didn't who definitely could have. I mean think about Baker Mayfield the only through twenty seven touchdowns. He only played what fourteen games. I'd be concerned the one that jumps out to me is Russell Wilson. Because you saw the transition last year the way they ran the offense the way that he didn't run the ball is much. He only through for thirty four hundred yards. But he had an eight point two touchdown percentage. Which meant he threw thirty five touchdowns that's made that made his entire fantasy season. Yeah. Does. So I if you take you know, he threw her fifteen hundred fewer yards than Patrick Mahomes. So that would be the one that jumps out to me you could throw as potential regression Kirk cousins, he just barely got thirty at thirty. And you saw the change that Harrison when they change their offense coordinator, similar Russell Wilson. They want to shift away from the passing game be a more. You know? Slow the slow the game down wind the clock run the ball. And so around the goal line. He might have a few more opportunities that he had this last year that go away I would say fill breeders Philip rivers came through with a great year but much like Russell Wilson over performed his touchdown percentage was at six point three percents. And it's not that he can't throw thirty two touchdowns. I mean, he's he's done that before but his passing attempts came way down in the touchdowns still stayed up there. So I think it's if if those are the the attempts were going to see from rivers out expect them to be more in that twenty seven twenty eight. Yeah, I totally get that. And if those three guys all fall below thirty someone else will replace Baker Mayfield to Shawn Watson. Mat Rogers Cam new though, those guys should be at that thirty number in and they weren't this year. Yeah. I would expect Matthew Stafford to have a much better touchdown performance next season. He lost one of his. Weapons midway through the season. Golladay getting a stylish Marvin Jones was hurt as well. So he didn't have a lot of guys to throw two no kerryon Johnson. And so his touchdown percentage was way down. But I just see him getting back to thirty very easily. And you know, obviously wins and foles neither of them were in that category of thirty and above and assuming one gets to play the whole year that that should happen in Philadelphia as well. So that is it for the top ten shocking stats at twenty eighteen and some of their fantasy football implications. Any final thoughts from you, gentlemen. Oh, no. No. No. No. No. No, no.
