"And for that, I think her player of the game are the fans. You know, the fans showed up. The Packers did not the weather. I agree with everybody what they're saying that shouldn't be the saint played in the weather. I saw the guys were great seats right on the field, right right there, and I saw the little air conditioning going in their journeys cooling off, you know? It was just unbelievable seeing some of the non uniform players and some of the uniform players. You know, waving her hands is that they didn't have to wear their hands in the air. The fan noise was insane. Absolutely insane. And the reason I do say the fans are the player of the game for the Packers is because they kept showing fan impact plays. On the scoreboard for the Saints, but they really weren't fan impact. Please. The Packer fans were there and I was disappointed. You know we had were in the club level. At one point and the go Paco chance throughout the crowd inside the club outside in the stands was crazy. And then there was like two fans thing, you know, do doing their little saints. Chant whatever they do, But it was just like almost embarrassing that the turnout for the Saints versus the patterns and if they if the Packers would have came with a fraction of the same intensity that the Packers fans came with. They wouldn't leave that big turn. You know it was embarrassing. It was just flat out embarrassing and I agree with all the other colors that they've got to possibly rethink the preseason situation. Sorry you had to be there to witness it. Scott seemed like a good idea at the time, didn't it? It? Sure did. I mean, they showed up with very little notice, and they shut out in drugs. You know, it was pretty impressive. Look good on TV. I appreciate the phone calls Got it kind of like a glorified preseason game in terms of like the crowd seemed to be pretty into it. Unfortunately, the Packers played like it was a preseason game. Paul is an Oscar is joining us next. Hello, Paul. Hi, Greg. I'm saying I wish you would just reconsider your player of the game. I would suggest Amari Rodgers. That went to the last time we ever saw punt return with positive yards twice in a role. You know, one was backward. Hey, I'll take it though, Right? That's a you know, it's right. I mean, usually on this program. We kind of look at each other. We scratch our heads, and we wonder can special teams get any better. Please? Like it Just it seems weird that it's Always struggling. Maybe a step in the right direction. Paul, I'll go along with that. Crosby had a nice leaping catch of a Jordan well past later in the game. He did. I do think the playbooks can open up for Amari Rodgers. I think he'll be used. I keep defaulting to Tyler Ervin. To sort of like the gadget in motion guy, But I think there's just more to his game than that, because he's a natural wide receiver. He's not just going to be a gadget motion guy who gets an occasional handoff. But they'll find ways to use him. I think moving forward certainly beyond just that of a punt returner. John is in Milwaukee. You're up next on Packers OT hygiene. Hey, Good evening. Good show great show of it and I wish I could talk to you about X's and Oh's tonight But, you know just was I told I was telling your screen or a little more than that. I I had the feeling listening to the game because I've been working all day. But You get the sense that it was. It was just what without emotion and and as I was telling your screener if there was a game we could choose to lose all year. You know, looking for being able to look back or forward or whatever this would probably be at be kind of like and I'm not saying they pulled their punches, but it's an emotional, highly emotional gain. And and that city has been through hell. And I don't feel like what I now know if anybody would felt good walking away something their chest that we beat the snot out of him, You know, kind of like a price fighter. Pulling his punches but not saying he did that. Obviously, there were a lot of things wrong. But I just I just feel like like there was a emotional loss going into that game, and they never never captured. It never gained it back or ever had it to begin with. Just your thoughts on that. Just want to throw it out there. Appreciate? Yeah, You bet. Thanks, John. It's certainly an adverse situation for the New Orleans Saints. I mean, displaced from their home practicing in Dallas on the campus at TCU. Flying to Florida for what is technically a home game but may have felt a little bit more like a road game. They're wearing their white jerseys because they don't want to wear black in the heats right here here and go pack go. It's really part of the disappointment that the Packers couldn't take advantage of that situation. I don't know how loud it was when the Saints had the ball on offense, But to me, it's sort of like Packers fans are getting into it a little bit. So it was a situation the Packers could not take advantage of. But yes, of course, the Saints played very well. And I think it is a strong team. They can push the ball down the field with Winston. He did not make any mistakes. Today. He was very efficient with the ball. Five touchdowns really jumps off the page. But typically when, when he has five touchdowns playing for the Buccaneers, he would have three interceptions and 388 yards like just whiled stats..

"Performing at 9 30 tonight in the B. Mo Harris Pavilion with Miller Lite. That's one of the great stages down here at some offense right on the water. The bay that is adjacent to the lake. Just a beautiful setting. Great. They've done this amazing things down here in the summerfest grounds. That is for sure. And the main stage tonight Chris Stapleton and Cheryl Crow. I wonder if Sheryl Crow is going to be honest on stage any bets. Yeah, He's been everywhere this entire summer, Right? Popping up at the state Fair has been at Mayfair Mall. You might see him in the drive through a Chick fil a I use a man about town all of a sudden. Uh, anybody would They be surprised to see you honest on stage was Cheryl Crow and I know she's a Chris Middleton guy. But if you're Chris Middleton And here, Janice I don't think Chris likes that kind of stage. A little more quiet might see honest on stage tonight, something bucks related. It's got to happen tonight. Inside the amphitheater was Cheryl Crow on stage. Packers kicker Mason Crosby will join us coming up here after the 6 30 news. I do want to get into rookie power rankings the Packers are going to have Significant contributions from rookies this season. Now I'm doing my best to try and figure out Who is at the head of the list because the positions are so different. That it may not be as easy for a guy like Royce Newman, who is 1/4 round offensive lineman who is going to start on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. That may not be as easy play to play to see what he does. As compared to a Mari Rogers, the third round wide receiver out of Clemson, who I also think you'll see on the field. A variety of different packages. Think Think Tyler Ervin from last year. Remember him number 32. It was always in motion. He was occasionally split out wide. He was just kind of a gadget guy. With a little juice to him. I kind of feel like that's where Amari Rodgers is going to start in this Packers offense. I do think he'll be involved, but You will have contributions from rookies throughout the course of the season. Two starters on the offensive line. Omari Rogers is going to factor in Thailand Hills 1/7 Round pick seventh round pick. He's also the team's number three running back. I don't think he gets a lot of touches at the running back position with a J. Dillan and Erin Jones ahead of him, But he is, I think going to be a factor in the return game, and you'll likely have some other rookies factoring in on special teams, so I'll do my best to power rank. The rookies will go through them one by one. And sort of figure out where they fit and who I think is gonna have the most significant and meaningful contributions. I do have a clubhouse leader, which we'll get to coming up sometime before seven o'clock. 85561616 20. If you'd like to join us. I do want to get into the Davante Adams situation a little bit more. Not sure if you heard his comments from yesterday, but Davante Adams was asked point blank by Rob Danowski. Do you think a contract extension will be hammered out before the regular season begins on occasion, The Packers have made a big splash signing right around the time the regular season gets underway. I think it was two years ago. The Packers Inc. David Bakhtiari to a contract extension a few years ago now I believe it was announced two days after the start of the regular season, coincidentally, was in Jacksonville so several years ago, but occasionally this happens, but nobody had to put that all the bed yesterday, saying there's no chance there's no chance of a contract extension. For Davante Adams before the start of the season. That's okay. The waiting game might be most beneficial for Adams in the waiting game might be most beneficial for the Packers. I think there is one way Davante Adams returns to the Packers After this season. We'll get to that coming up in the seven o'clock. "It because he had you know players that a team trusted in front of him and were you know set already on given all the work to you know what was the reason for it If we go off just what. You're what you're giving us here. That were saying it's because of how bad he was right. I just what. I don't know another way to explain. Got less volume than tyler ervin. Yeah that is weird Gwenda tyler get that work wonder I haven't actually looked too deep into tyler ervin but i wonder if it was when When he was when you know idea was out with the cova situation if that's when he you know had some carries as kinda crazy to say that he had as many carries. Tim note doesn't even sound believable It is expected points tyler and was just ahead of him and expected finds it. Looks like tyler. Ervin had one one good week in week nine where he was an rv to and like tyler. Ervin was less efficient than aj villanueva's so. I don't think it's really fair to say that. Tyler ervin outplayed him or anything like that yet but like why. Why couldn't he gets it more volume than this wised. If he would've even just gotten jamaal williams volume then his year one would be comparing to derrick henry. Instead of you know ronald jones. Yeah and just to create context for people. He rushed for two. He had forty six rushing attempts. Two hundred and forty two yards two touchdowns Only two receptions for twenty one yards and gandhi scored two touchdowns or socialize to right. may have four touchdowns in that game. Dan didn't really in the week. Sixteen game maybe. Maybe i'm sorry. I'm sorry no touchdowns just just to rush out. Okay so All right so two rushing touchdowns. So i mean that was a big game in that game. You know. a lot of people are going to use this especially people who want to be optimistic about eighty. Hey that's who. Aj dillas they're going to say. Hey i don't care about. You know the fact. When he wasn't getting workload the only time they gave him. Twenty plus carries or double digit carries he produced with it. And your argument to that is what josh by. Do you have an argument against that. I mean is there anything that you know that you could really say. Except you don't think he's going to get the workload in twenty twenty one either. I mean because a lot of people are going into this. Hey he's the starter in green bay next year and if he's a starter that automatically means work and is seen in his one opportunity with true working produced that make sense. Yes so my argument to that would be that like last year deal. Andry washington did really well. When he got volume for the raiders. In it just didn't mean anything now. They andre washington isn't a second round draft pick. But if we're going to say that Agia dillon has this inherent value. Because he's a second round draft pick that why didn't he get volume all year long. Just it just doesn't make sense to me though the one the one week of production like lots.
