"Cousin's cousins. I i agree i green bay twenty-five cincinnati twenty two got. Aj dylan one. You want to go do a bengal tyler boyd thing. Yeah we did it. The title thing Before you believe it or not. Why is it that. I feel underwhelmed by the last three games from aaron rodgers. Twenty two points at san francisco twenty-seven against pittsburgh twenty three at cincinnati. I feel like he's playing so well but not because those are underwhelming fantasy performances quarterback. Is taylor heineke. Ask what do you make of it. Are there more points. The com just. "I don't disagree with anything you said except for the part where you said. He's a fade his adp as wide receiver thirty eight. He's going in eleventh round. Okay yeah that's right. Understand that in the eleven weeks that joe borough played weeks one through eleven guy ever sixteen point two fantasy points per game. he's wide receiver. Fourteen was wide receiver fourteen. And and you and you say. Okay maybe joe. Borough isn't as good as he was last year because he's recovering from the sale that the offensive line is bannon advantage. Amar chase maybe target chairs in there for tyler board but there's a wide along drop from wide receiver fourteen to wide receiver. Thirty eight. because. I don't think anything that you said about tyler boyd. This year is different than what he had last year. Right so tomorrow. As i get it but like like we still think there's going to be a ton of volume like if he's throwing forty times a game like there's going to be enough for all three of those guys so i think we. We agree that. Tyler boyd is a very good player and certainly joe borough and him had a connection last year. Joe borough if you go back to what he was doing college and you think last year he likes thrown to the slot whereas with whether it was just jefferson and lsu or tyler boy last year like he likes throwing the slot and so i don't a guy who led the team in red zone targets from borough last year i know jomar chase wasn't there but still like i don't know i just to me. I'm not ready to go. Amphay a guy. That's top twenty potential. Which i think he does. I mean he was wide receiver fourteen last year. Right under borough guy that that that the solid top twenty type guy at wide receiver thirty eight. Which is where he's going. I'm in. I didn't realize who's going that low in drafts..

"You're gonna get a good amount of rushing touchdowns those seven. And if jameis winston throws two touchdown passes tatum hill which isn't out of the question right. So you're going to get the points for both of those. I think so. Yeah he would say to right. Yeah it makes sense then. Yeah that does make sense. Zero touchdown passes the some hill. That's probably smart. Bet all right top ten. So yeah like tom brady or saints guys saints. You're not gonna get any rushing touchdowns really very maybe two quarterback too late however. It'll be gabar before trask. okay. I still think i'm going to go with brady. Okay tampa bay. Qb this is from pat. Gotti twelve man pr one qb dynasty league. I won the league last year. But i flipped some players last year. And turn it into the first pick of the rookie draft. Wow i'm thinking kyle pits or nashi harris. I have kamara. Henry and mike davis my tight ends or gronk tyler higby. Also what is a reasonable trade package to ask for if i want another top five rookie. Pig looking to trade henry and aaron rodgers for picks. What is receiver situation. Does he say because now as His receivers are great. I didn't chases the bec. Yeah we go. Chase pits nause in a vacuum. Yeah so and. I think i would hear too because i think is running backs. Good enough to keep them going for a few more years. But if he's looking to try and sell aaron rodgers for rookie pick. I mean you know you're probably looking at the back around one. But what if he throws in derrick henry henry rogers is that enough to get them to one. Zero three judd. I think rose you get into another three henry along can get them to one. I mean if you're one zero three year in rebuild mode. So you probably don't wanna do that but if you're looking to get a player's gonna help you now. You know what if you just had bad luck injuries last year and you have a really good team sure. Then you'd be interested in making that move. You could win now. Rogers henry and give up one. Oh three and that. Rogers and henry for one or three along.

"Just chain their offense completely is going to be difficult for markey's brown to be that type of fantasy wide receiver until one. If you guys each of you had to project the number of targets per game marquess brown would get this year. What number would that be six assists six to seven. I would say okay well. In those eight games last year he was averaging a tad more than seven per game. And i mean like he basically was at seven per game so yeah. Of course that you're talking about last six regular season plus plus two postseason. Yeah and you take those eight games. And dave already did the math but just to give you the numbers again. You take those eight games and just multiply by two and sixteen games. It was one hundred and fourteen target pace. It was thousand sixty eight yards and twelve touchdowns. He he is i. It's really weird. I look at him so similarly to mark andrews just obviously they played different positions but he's played thirty eight markets. Proudest played thirty games in his career. He has fewer than fifty yards in twenty of thirty games. He has fewer than thirty yards in twelve of thirty games more than a third less than thirty yards. He has fewer than ten yards in five games. But then in the postseason That's he's got three games in the postseason three. All three games eighty seven more yards and he averages eleven point nine yards per target in three postseason game seven point nine in the regular season. I don't know if that means nothing over his career seventh. Yes seven point nine in the regular season in thirty games. Eleven point nine in the postseason in three games. It's only three games. But he shows glimpses. I think of of what he can do. But it's hard to stay consistent with his raw numbers may be the top twenty four days predicting him to be. It's going to be like tyler lock. You have some big weeks where he's great. You know have some weeks where he just like. Why am i starting this guy. And that's the frustration of a clear like just. Aren't there insist the difference being obviously that everybody's going to continue to start tyler lockett when he goes through rough patches because he's capable of putting johnson a game. Yeah maybe maybe that was the first time people really finally started to get away from tyler lockett. I think it's a lot easier to get away from markey's battle. I like comparing the two. I like lock it better. Yeah i mean. And i get what you're saying that just the the ups and downs of of these types of receivers. I'm hoping they'll be a little bit more consistent than tyler lockett. Just maybe not necessarily the full year today. Total said laugh but the thing about markey's brown that is great is like you said adams. Adp's fantastic and he does have a big weeks and you are starting him especially in three receiver leaks those type of leagues that you end up winning. You know you're playing to win. He's the type of player..

"But now you're talking about. Probably i would say fifteen best. He's by the way. Adp on nfc for the last month. Since may i is twentieth. Rb twenty ahead of chris carson travesty. Dtn i still don't understand why james robinson is that right ahead. Write behind travis. Utn robinson almost made my bold prediction list. All right. let's go to your next bowl the prediction the this one's really fun. Marquees brown will finish as a top twenty four wide receiver and have a monster first. Nine weeks markey's brown top twenty four. That would be surprising to a lot of people. I think it would be very surprising but look at how he finished last year. And for the record. I do not have it ranked this way as of now but it is something. I'm considering in fact the next two bold predictions this one and the next one. I'm thinking about making those changes in making them. Actually reflect the my rankings. I think that's how bold predictions ultimately should be last six games of the regular season ad in the playoff games. That's eight games. Thirty seven catches five hundred and thirty four yards and six touchdowns the ravens brought him in a little bit. His average depth of target was a lot shorter. He ran more crossing route state. Use those crossing routes in the red zone and it clicked for him. He had a lot of good numbers. You basically take those numbers from the last eight games at double and you had a little bit six percent more on top of it. Because they're seventeen games and you projects out to over eleven hundred yards and twelve touchdowns sounds crazy. How could he get twelve touchdowns will if he's used the same way. I think the opportunity is there. We know the ribbons want to be more effective throwing the football. Certainly once they do that they're officiency will go up throwing the football. They have dressed in free agency with sammy. Watkins they had a rashad bateman. I still think brown is the best receiver in this offense. I still think he can make big plays. I'm hoping that in his magical third year things click for him. You can drop them as a number three receiver. But he's got a chance to sneak into the top twenty four in large part because of the schedule that they had to begin the season. It's great through the first nine weeks. It's the second half there toward the end. A little bit of the regular season. That i think you'd get a little nervous to use them. So right them out for the first eight nine weeks the season and then flip them if he can assuming he has the year that i think he's going to have the good news is you can draft him as a number four wide receiver. He's forty first marquess brown forty first and nfc average draft position. Since may i and one thing you didn't mention those rishaad baseman..

"Higgins and Tyler Boyd all lining up wide for job, Earl and I made it the poll question Now on Twitter. It was about 50 50 50 said. Oh, I like that 50 Cent. I don't like that. Um, I heard I listened to a podcast Mel Kiper and Todd McShay. And they brought up the subject of Devante Smith. Don't trust what I say. I like it now. I'm not. I don't have to have him. I like him. I don't have to have here's Todd McShay on what he thinks about people who are worried about Devante Smith. The little things that he does getting getting off the press. They're our elite corners that air trying to press him and they don't have a chance. And then driving a guy down one way and then shaking him left and then coming back right and doing it all in full speed. And but then also Temple temple in his routes and all the little things he does, and then Has 170. What is it? 1 75 £175 receiver. He doesn't care about going over the middle. He'll go take the hit and he just keeps popping up. I just There's there, dudes that are special and Devante Smith is special, and that's it. And his road running in his toughness and his catching and traffic and it's everything. I don't care if you're 64 or 61. What's the difference if you can get open and you can catch the ball and you can make plays? And you could make plays after the catch? What is the difference? I don't understand why everyone's so worried about 63642 20. Who cares? Like If you can't see it, you're blind. Is that Z My opinion? Todd McShay earlier today on the podcast, ESPN podcast with Mel Kiper and Todd McShay. And, of course, Mel weighed in Here's Mel caper on what he thinks of the Heisman Trophy winner and potential Cincinnati bangle. The year that Marvin Harrison that's we all. Compare him to when I was with Marvin. The year he came out, and he has the same meant had the same mentality of Devante Smith, special Worker Baller all business, Everything you want to say about a great professional, but yet And Todd, who went number one. The year that Marvin Harrison came out, Martin, then go. Number one. You know, Marvin wet in the middle of the first to the Colts, right? Keyshawn Johnson went number one. He went number one. He had that imposing size and had all those and he had a great career. Marvin didn't go number 2345. Because he was slight. You know, you're getting coming out of Syracuse and look at the Hall of Fame career. Marvin had so this notion that Devante Smith shouldn't be 23 coming off the board make to try to make the same argument. Marvin should have been two or three coming off after keeping with he went number one, Todd McShay, it L caper on the podcast talking about Devante Smith, who dazzled Monday night in the National championship game for Alabama will head down the stretch doing on this date, which includes Who occurs in the history of Cincinnati Sports and his 8 48. "So the jury's still out on those guys. But like, okay, they hit in free agency. Surely hit on Joe Borrow and Tea. Higgins. They have pieces around Jesse Bates and Tyler Boyd and all these different pieces that can come together and then you watch. It's like man. I wish I wish they would have. Put that into the offensive line, because what Joe borrow did better than anyone. He hid so many flaws and you get caught up when Joe borrow was at his peak, and you start treating yourself like the old lines, Not bad along, and it's like, really The old line was like playing middle of the pack. But he was just so good at getting the ball out of making reeds and then When he went out. It's like OK, now there's some holes, and there's a lot when they beat the Tennessee Titans. You know, he played a clean game. I don't think he was sacked in that game, and folks were surprised to see the pro football focus grades for the offensive lineman and, like, wait a minute. It's like none of those offensive linemen aren't very good job Burrow was is excellent. And so he's you know, he kept himself clean. But, yeah, that as as rough as the last few weeks have been Monday night against Pittsburgh, notwithstanding. The first half of the season. There was Yeah, it was easy to get caught up in the excitement and the hope. And now you just wonder, is he gonna be ready to go weak? Wanted us. So you know who knows? How about the lip reading phase of the season when it was like the Zapruder film? We were breaking it down, inch by inch of what did AJ Green say? How would happy Is he on the sidelines in slow motion to say Did he say he wants out? I mean, that became a thing that became a thing. Carlos Dunlap fiasco the stories. What was this is the Gino Atkins piece, you know, Actions piece mystery, The mystery that the way that these three mainstays holdovers guys who have they, you know, had a Hall of Fame would be Bangles Hall of Famers the way there Time with the Bangles is either Peter Ring out or did Peter out has been a major major story go back to the press conference of Dunlap and Atkins together. Man. We got that We got the cornerstones of our defensive line for the next 56 years and l A J. Green coming back on the franchise tag. He's gonna hate He looks fit and he looks strong. He looks fast and In those three with you Talk about the pro Bowls and the production. And though even Andy Dalton into that because you moved on from Andy Dalton? Yeah, those pieces to not have them make much of an impact at all. Gino Atkins had one tackle this year. One quarterback hit. A J. Green at one point was making 500 grand per cats that is Kenny recently on But Carlos done that for you. I mean it. Well, How about Joe Mixon? The story that just kind of faded away? Joe Mixon hitch their wagon to him a four year deal the great debate of the value of running backs. Give him you know, 40 plus million dollars and his injury which is really never been fully defined. Just kinda had him fade off into the into the distance. He's not even thought of it. The less peace I remember of Joe Mixon was him dancing after a touchdown against the cult, right And then you find out like he was injured. And I know that you know that in the game and the adrenaline, but it is it's you two were talking about the game each week. And, like Joe Mixon is fading. More and more out of the conversation. Zach Taylor was asked about Gio mixes availability for Pittsburgh. And when the question was asked and went, Oh, yeah, I guess. Theoretically, he could still play on And then they rally and meet the Steelers on Monday night Football, which is so 2020 of all the things that happened, the unexplainable and I like what happened. It was Monday night 20 thing ever Can you think of the last sporting Them. Local sporting event where The outcome left you as stunned. I thought about angle Steelers. I probably said it's cheating because it was more than one game, but probably the 90 World Series sweep of the eight right? I don't think anybody had any reason to believe the Reds were gonna beat the A's in that series, and they did, but that's over four games, but that's how you talk about it. Tony you you didn't even spend the week setting up ways They could be there. Not one time on the show that I discuss. Hey, this is how you win. This is how you beat the Steelers this week. It was. Can they cover? How bad is it going to be? You're coming off a Dallas embarrassment. Pittsburgh two losses in a row. They're going to get right. And Lo and behold, the Bangles come out and somehow win that game on Monday. I'm I still can't believe they did it. It's been a couple of days. My answer to that would be the mustard suit Bob Huggins game When Mick took the bear cats to Morgantown, the first time they played hugs and beat him. They made 10 buckets. West Virginia did the whole game. I said, I'm like, I cannot believe that happened. And that's how I was on Monday night and Tuesday morning, and it took until the very end because steals get the ball back with two minutes. Here comes we're gonna lose. Unbelievable. Right Still ahead. Let Ze stay on the football side of things and talk about the year That was for you see football from the early rumors of perhaps the departure of the head coach, if not the Defensive coordinator to where they sit now on the verge of a Peach Bowl appearance. "Our next special guest has been around the game of football. His entire Life. Legendary coach was his dad and he's a legendary coach as well. This is Bob back now. Son of Jack Bicknell and Bobby been around the game game a long time yesterday. Was a crazy football game. I mean, uh, I think the officials in that in my mind the lead can't be proud of what took place in the officials kind of lost. Control. Lost lost little bit everything during the course. That football game. How crazy was it on the sideline? You know, I mean, it's crazy, but you really just don't think about trying Go on the next play. I mean, I really think that You know, something happened with Tyler. I didn't get to see anything and picked. The reality of it is she needs to be able to play the next play. And so he's got to make sure he controls that. And, um, you know, I think that It is what it is. You know, You just got to go on the next play and keep playing game and that's what we tried to do. Coach. T had a five catch day He took a leap in a hurdle attempt late in the game. And I guess tweaked the hammy on one hand. You probably love the effort. On the other hand, are you holding your breath when you're wide receiver Coast airborne like that? No, not really. Because I think that those guys are out there trying to make plays. And you know, I liked it. The effort. I mean, it was late in the game. You know if we could have ever leaked over the guy and gone and scored and then you get it. No inside or something, and you got a chance to win the game. So you know, I think he'll be fine and you know he's going to compete like that. And you know, it's kind of a lot of why we went down there and wanted to draft a kid like this. He compete plays hard practices hard does everything we ask him to do so. Um, you know, I'm kind of happy that it you know, he's trying to make a play talking about a guy that Practices. Hard plays hard works hard. It's Tyler Boyd. I mean he's been. He's been phenomenal all year long, and he has a 72 yard touchdown catch and could have built on that. And who knows what kind of day he could have had when you lose him as your primary slot guy? No. You were rolling. You know, more than one person in there. How? How big A loss was that? I mean to have Tyler Boyd eliminated from your passing attack. That's gonna be critical. It is. It's a big loss. I mean, you know, Ptolemy's understand if that's his responsibility when he's a big part of what we do, Um, I'm not coach speak, but I do have complete confidence in Alex Harris and when he goes in, so No, you just go on to the next guy. But Tyler is an important part of what we do. He's one of the best players in this league and you know it's a big loss when we when we lose a member, that's just the reality. So You know, hopefully moving forward. We learned from this. We realized how important it is that you know, you just never control what what they might do. So you've got to make sure that you're on top of, you know, doing things the right way, Coach. When we talk about Tyler, week to week, I always fall back on the word crafty or craftiness. He just seems to have a sense of Finding his way into a crevice or an opening on the field kind of kind of speak to the nuance of his game. And what makes him Tyler Boyd. You know it xylitol bit of just the way he moves and the way it's the timing of when he shows up first or when he comes speed off the ball or, you know, it's just it's just It's kind of what makes him special. So you allow him to do those kind of things and crafted a great work, You know, just has a great feel for the game. Feel for for underneath coverage is so we can sit in there if it is it man to man coverage. On Ben, You know he's got good size, and he's got good speed. I mean, I killed him sometimes about it, Steve, But, you know, he takes it in to run down The sideline and National Football League game is not easy to do. So I think when he combines all that, I think is knowledge now his work ethic. It's all just come in tow who he is and who was supposed to be as a player, and, you know, I'm proud of him for that. I think he's done a great job. You know, I love watching him play. It's just We gotta keep men now, So that's the key to the whole thing. You know a lot of people lot of fans after the game, the reaction was, you know, where was a J. Tyler goes down in a J. You know, the old A J would step up and this version of AJ didn't step up. And how close is AJ getting coach to being the old A. J. He's very close. You know, There's just a lot of things that go on, you know, just opportunities that game and, you know, situations and all those things and, you know, be honest with you. We threw this plant to him and legitimately is double. This double can be because he's still agent green. They still gets double covered. And that's why Tyler Boyd is able to do what he's doing. I mean, God, Tyler what happened at the end of last year? How hard it was. When he was the guy getting double bond really kind of slowed him down, and so I think you you take each week week to week. I know it is going to be here on Wednesday, right to practice ready, Do all the things that he's gotta do. I know he prepares himself, and hopefully some of those things happen. You know, Tyler Boyd 72 Yard Touchdown was not supposed to be that. You know the answer to a zero pressure that hopefully get the ball out. He gets 8 10 yards and everything's great. He turns the corner and goats. So then, all of a sudden, you have a couple more catches. The guy has 150 yards. Well, that's just more, You know, a little bit of luck or a little bit of, you know, just opportunity that sell the right way. So I think this week, you know, hopefully, opportunities will come and I know it, they'll be right. He's the Best pro best person ever been around. I know it's not easy for him, you know, and coming back after anything that he's come back from will never be easy, but I really believe he's progressing. I think he's getting to the point where You know, you could really help yourself Coach back to Ah, tea for a second rookies Gotta it's all about learning and adjusting edge ago in dealing with new things and things for the first time. Kind of speak to if you could. The progress you've seen in tea from maybe day one of camp to where he is right now is an NFL wide receiver. Well, you know, he's just got a real feel for. I think his ability and what he does well, and I think that that's important as any receivers to make sure you're playing to your strengths, and I think him coming off the ball the way he does. He runs better than people think again. You know, and he runs well, but I think he's been able T kind of get into that spot of understanding the way he runs, routes and just a little bursts off the ball. A little bit of change of speeds..

Randy, You look more comfortable in the first lap this week. And you were last week Was that the case? And how was the loss of Tyler Boyd? How did that affect you offensively? You know, obviously losing Tyler was big force, but you know what, guys? We're stepping up. You know, it happens in football. Obviously not the way it happened today, But you do lose guys and Um, you know, people behind them got to step up and be able to make plays. And you know, um, when he went down, it was tough for us. But, you know, I think we were really trying to bounce back and did some things offensively, moves from guys around and the best we could get our playmakers ball. Did you feel more comfortable this week at quarterback, then? You know that? Yeah. You know, I think I was obviously, any time you get more time on practice with reps and being in the huddle with those guys executing plays with those guys. You get more comfortable. I think it just comes with, like I said, just comes with getting all those accumulated reps and You know, I think the more and more that we do it, the more and more comfortable with you. Many. There seem to be different edge of the game after Tyler and he's even Howard both got ejected. I mean, huh? How much should effect I guess the mood of the team throughout the rest of the contests. You know, you try not to let those things affected too much. Obviously it was a big ordeal going on there and You know, you know, not just say much about it, but it is what it is and in both guys got ejected and you have to bounce like a city to bounce back from that, And then you guys step up. We got to keep it to one last question for Brandon. And and how tough is it to Ah? To get back in the flow. You know, after the officials take a half an hour to sort out who's gonna be ejected? Who's gonna be penalized mean that that whole thing was ridiculous? That wasn't National Football League? I'm sure the league's not gonna be happy. Um Not going to say it's impossible. There was tough. I think it took, you know, easily. 20 minutes to get it all figured out and you know it. It is tough to come back and get back into a rhythm. But Um, you know, those are the cards that everyone was dealt, so there's no excuses for not picking right back up. We were and getting it going. All right, Brynn, and we'll let you go. Thanks for your time. Thank you, Brian and Alan after the game, Dave, you alluded to it briefly. You have experience falling on a football in the damage or they discomfort that will follow correct. Yeah. No, I, uh said my tour cartilage between the ribs and the rib cage, man. I'll tell you that that one was If you turn wrong sneeze, cough man, You know, it. Just do. It was tough and put a flak jacket on it. But that's after the fact. It's just to protect from further injury and it's not getting hit. "Green. Matthew. There are two parts of this discussion, and one of them is pretty straight forward is a J. Green worth the risk Now the second part, and I think he's sort of tied together is I don't normally like to ask you or anybody. Hey, if you're choosing between these two players on the same team, which do you prefer, Because why do you have to choose between them, right? Because the A T P for a J. Green and Tyler Boyd is so similar this year and a J. Green's A D P right now is wide receiver 29 Avoids wide receiver 30. So in this case, you may very well be making the choice between a J. Green and Tyler Boyd. So let's start here. How much of arrest you view a. J. Green as and then? You prefer him or Tyler Boyd if you had to choose one of the two going into the season, so I have Tyler Boyd rank 30th. I have a Jade green 32. So obviously my ranks. I I prefer Boyd that said, it depends again on every Everything is just sort of about how you how you value your team and how you're constructing your roster right so and your league rules. If I have extra eye our spots, I might be more willing to take a flier on a J. Green, who I think is the more talented wide receiver and I think if both guys play all 16 games, I think a J. Green finishes with more fantasy points in Tyler Boyd, right. But the question with green obviously, of course, is always health. And so s so yeah. If or if I'm doing more of a, you know, hire upside. Team right? Or if I feel like, you know, it just depends on sort of when I get to that point, the draft do I need more solid production, Or can I swing for the fence is a little bit more if I'm swinging for the fences, little Maurits a J green If I'm just like you know what? I just need a solid guy that it can start every week. To me. It's Tyler void. Okay, Fair enough. I don't want to, but I have them right close to each other. You and I want to just just illuminate a couple of things on a J. Green that are different this year compared to last year. They're not health related is that Last year with a J green. There was frustration and sort of discontent surrounding his contract and wanting a new one and realizing that it probably wasn't going to get the Bangles were obviously downtrodden all year last year, his close personal friend Andy Dalton, gets them is because one of his best friends, I think in the world, it's like getting bench like there was a lot Of factors working against a J. Green returning last year, and I'm not injury. You ever got benched Gates? I want you to know that I would sit out the year with an injury due injury right, but but not to suggest that he's actually he's not. He wasn't budging an injury, but I would just say that there are times were in a play. I'm not accusing him of being. I'm just letting I'm just letting the world to talk about it personally, I would fake one, but I'm saying, like, guys have the right. Look, if they're close, if they're close to a contractor, something like if they wanna wait and preserve their body like we get that that's fair. Christian, McCaffrey said of a bowl game like because you wanted and it was great. He's a Trailblazer. Right guys have to make business decisions. Sometimes this year. I think it's a different mentality for a J. Green. He's one year away from getting paint as he was last year, But now he realizes we don't play this year. What team is going to say? All right. It is like, hey, let's let's sign a J. Green after 2.5 years away from football to a lucrative deal the age of 32. They're not going to do that Agent Green is motivated this year to realize he has a chance to go ahead and make that money that he will only get one more time in his career. He's 32. You don't get long term contracts for a wide receiver at the age of 35. Or 36 So I am more confidence in a J. Green this year by award Mart wide margin that I was going into last season, and that's coming from someone who drafted a J. Green in the war room league. Yeah, he did not help you out in that league did not help you and Matt Harrington out at all. I don't know. But yes, I don't disagree. And so right, you have you have a J green higher than avoid by two spots. We're flip flop there again. It's just sort of like But even with He's still a rest. I'm with you like going to tough it out and like he's got a different mindset, of course, but Is the guy that's missed a lot of time over the last few years, and he is 32 years and I get and we play this game with emotion. And I understand the people that say you know what? For the past couple of years, I've been burned by a J. Green. I'm not doing it again. This season. Having said that if he stays healthy, he's been a top 17 fantasy wide receiver, and he plays when he plays great. He is a beast and anything else that you want to add in here on the injury front for a J. Green or Tyler Boyd. Otherwise, we just want to say thank you for the A plus analysis is always No. I think you're saying you guys are echoing pretty much my thoughts on a jade green as well, Just personally rooting for him because there aren't many guys who rehab harder than he does. And he looked phenomenal for the few place. We saw him in training camp last year before you got hurt again to follow you. You're the best we thank you will talk to you again tomorrow. Hopefully you continue to have power in your home during that time. Before we wrap up the Bangles, Matthew just of the non A. J. Green's left, Tyler Boy, Pass catchers. Tea, Higgins. Any of those guys just 10 seconds? You have a late round flyer You like. The on ly flier I like is just in dynasty leagues. I just want to bring up Trey Vion Williams. Okay, led the SEC and rushing dig him like Giga Maggie's text, saying, I think he's a very talented running back and that if Joe Mixon were to move on after this year, I think they just talking with some people around the Bangles organization. They like Trey Beyond Williams quite a bit. He didn't get on the field very much last year, but he's a talented running back and just a name to file away for her dynasty leagues. I like tea. Higgins is No, but I think he's again. There's only so many mouths to feed for Dynasty. If a degree doesn't walk after this year, he could be an interesting name to keep an eye on. He would certainly be. Do you have any interest at all? In C J. Uzoma widow, with Tyler Eifert moving on. Anyone.

A.J. Green's injury on 'subpar' Bengals practice field will cost wide receiver up to two months

"Speaking of injuries unfortunately an M._r._i.. Has revealed that Cincinnati Bengals Wide Receiver A._J.. Green has torn ligaments in his left. Ankle is according affording to Schefter here. They are likely to sideline green six to eight weeks up really not a good situation and teammate Tyler Boyd questioned the turf. The team was practicing on when green was injured. It was terrible. I couldn't run any routes out there. I'm falling all over the ground man it was it was bad. It was rocks pebbles out there man it was somewhere we should have been just feel like the turf was old. You know it just wasn't we didn't get good traction in and out of her breaks. You know a lot of guys not just me was on the ground but I mean who wasn't up there that long but there's gotTa make a word man. We gotta get it well. The turf was that welcome stadium at the University of Dayton where the bengals are practicing coach you buy this well. I haven't seen the video really in this instance probably not but I will say that you know feel. Surfaces are very very important for player safety. You know whether it's a grass field you know what is the old school latch with Pittsburgh steelers. We practice on hard old school astroturf every day for five years so no you got to look at it but in that instance I think it was a matter of the kind of rolling up on the back of his ankle and that was what I saw caused that particular injury about sure it was the field service problem here in addition to the injury of course which is is paramount is the optics of this and when you have a player who says this sort of perception is reality and then then it's out there and you got players. You might believe this is the case whether the optics to this are awful and this time of year teams are trying to realize their fan N._B._C.'s. I've been a part of that for a number of years. Every team has an operations department and kind of like the offensive line. You'd never talk about the operations department until there's a problem and part of their responsibility is to advance where hotels are safety of the fields whether or not the field deal with safer not now the perception is that it was a problem now e._j.. Green fairness may have gotten hurt it was on their practice field but they're players now think that was a factor and they're at the University of Dayton given rookie head coach. He's trying to establish himself itself and now he has a problem in the locker room because these players are questioning what the organization did and that Operation Staff that you're referring to my signed off on the practices being here the League went to them. They sent a site survey team to inspect the field and that site survey survey team for the Bengals said this field is okay to practicing and maybe they thought it's one practice we can get through now. You've got a situation where you see A._J.. Green get hurt on this play and we can take another look at it right here where he goes up for the past the D._v. lands on his ankle. He's on the turf tears ligaments in his ankle. He's going to be sixty weeks. Think about how much is at stake your now. You have a first year head coach Zack Taylor who's trying to come in and implemented program. They've already lost their first round draft. Pick joyner Williams to a season ending injury. Now you lose your left tackle. You lose your number one wide receiver. They are at a loss there and A._J.. Green himself is going into the last year of his contract so at a time when we're talking about new deals for Michael Thomas in Amari Cooper Julio Jones guess who else was on that list of A._J.. Green so what happens now to his value as argument now that he is going to be out for some period of time and organization standpoint. That's a really difficult position because A._J.. Degrees could say hey. I've done all the right things. I was out there practicing at the university because you wanted me to and now that's going to hurt me and take money out of my own pocket. It could really cause a situation to go awry very quickly and again even if the operations team went through all the protocols the the perception is that this feel wasn't safe and now they have a problem with one of their best players. Yeah I think that team without J. Green if you look at their record versus with huge and so he's a big part of their team. He's going to be missed. This is that there's a fair amount of injury here to start. You know this is not the way not the way you want to get off the ground. No team does last last year he missed time with a toe injury and when he was out of there the offense did not operate the same toddler boys production fell off and everybody thinks talent boy. We'll just emerge as the number one guy and he's a really good wide receiver but the fact that matters A._G.. Green when he's out there makes tyler. Holler bought a better received. John Ross still has not stepped up as the first round draft pick that he was. He says he's ready to do that. Will they need him to do that. They've got some other players Alex Berenson some good young receivers but A._J.. Green is on a level with Julio Jones. He's is that kind of talent and when you Jack Taylor coming into his offense it's hard to get by without somebody that good.

Can't even I forget what it did the event probably do watching with a lot of guys. Let compares just kicking e and just relax awesome. I'm gonna shoot you just a couple of quick little rapid fire questions. Just give me short little answers. And then we'll let you plug within unions doing if you're cool with that little lightening round at cool. All right. What's your what you go to snack, food or junk food? Maybe while you're watching the Super Bowl. Definitely doritos. Okay. Who's gonna win the game this weekend? Tom brady. Yeah. Hard to go against him. Yeah. Hard to go against who's who's your favorite or most entertaining. Follow on social media. Oh, I have to go on. So much with the first one hit my mind with clash whereas the full. I see a lot of Chad stuff. Chad Johnson stuff too. He's pretty. Yeah. If you weren't if you weren't playing professional football. What would you be doing you think which what kind of a dream job outside football? Great question. Hopefully, I'm trying to get finish school. Knowing get my degree in business in hopefully, try to get some type of clothing land and come up with some type of brand I can start up in trying to you know. So from like that awesome. How many wins for the Bengals this year? Twelve. Wow. Twelve I like it. A like it. Think that's look ledger to start game body. I like it a like it. We're talking with Tyler Boyd joining us here in the orange black insider via Espy nation in the cincy jungle dot com website. He is joining us via paninis down in Atlanta for the Super Bowl. And Tyler tells a little bit about what you're doing with Panini. Tuck about earlier, which is helping out with the kids. You know? His thing showed they're still stand on the right track. And that follows no China make much of leaders possibly know just trying to build their competition in in any area. You know, even in the classroom and on the feel, you know, so got to relate in their their stands growing up. So just just have not determination from kids and just making them chill competent theirselves. Just just motivated a little bit. That's awesome. Well, have have fun. And seeing what he is doing. Good to hear about his thoughts about improving what's going for what's going on in his mind with the coaching change how he potentially fits in with that. And obviously into Nome a little bit outside of football with some of those fun questions as well. Didn't want to repeat the same stuff. We asked him about a month ago. So interesting stuff. Great interview. Great guy, really cool what he's doing with Panini in working with the youth down there. So we appreciate him. We appreciate Panini for for getting Tyler on the program. "And since he jungled dot com for the second time over the past month, we are privileged to be talking with Bengals wide receiver. Tyler Boyd who is doing a lot of different stuff this Super Bowl week Tyler. How are you, sir? Yeah. Thanks for joining us, again, really stoked to have and catch up with you. Last time we talked obviously the Bengals were in a bit of flux in terms of coaching and whatnot. We'll talk about that in just a second. But how's how are the festivities? You're are you in Atlanta right now? How are the festivities treat you down there? I think all great, you know, just here. The Booker T is cool. You know? It's a little bit different jobs with and just showing them different way, you know, just just trying to develop different sector skills. But it's the kids, you know, and just make actually funding just just teach them how to have a hard word. It's awesome Tyler's. Joining us courtesy of Panini. We'll talk about what he's doing with them in just a minute. Tyler. I wanted to ask you. I mean, obviously, the the Bengals haven't quite made a decision yet or an official decision yet and official announcement on their head coaching job. But I think signs are pointing to Zack Taylor of the Rams. He's obviously coaching in the Super Bowl this weekend. What would that mean to you and to the Bengals locker room for the team to be bringing in a guy coaching in a Super Bowl right now and potentially coming in and coaching the Bengals right after that? Oh, well, just just to see the production. That around has, you know, does type offers fair like the rest of the guys the love, you know, we love a combinator just like office found that would love and this after like a younger guy coming in. You know, I think we'll just bring a lot more juice, you know, because Kathy can relate a lot more with the players dot van age plays any factor of anything with the team, you know. But I think it would you know, I think that's used that we kinda need for the team to get point. Speaking of the Rams offense. I'm sure you've you've seen quite a bit of it. Either highlights or or what have you been last year? The Rams offense had to twelve hundred yard receivers the Bengals offense. Even without the coaching change yourself out of thousand yard season, you missed a couple of games towards the end of the year aged green got hurt. He was on pace for one of his best years of his career. You've gotta be excited as to what potentially. If Jack Taylor is higher. You gotta be excited about what he brings. And how do you see yourself maybe fitting into a system like that? You see a similar type of production year like that like you had last year. Definitely, you know, because with the around here is great over there. You know? Good and everything great. But I think a difference with coach from the coaching me AJ links. You know, we're telling them in sale and ca-catch more vote. We think be the extra edge of his king. No of be a lot more easier for. Two guys often to go off, you know, personally, ever a dominant tight in. Well, you know, so we got range, you know, every guy around is tall. He no in rages. Believable. You know? So I think we got that extra element over the Rams of Sheva core. You know? Yeah. They have weapons everywhere. Talking to Tyler boy bankers wide receiver coming off his first career one thousand yard season with the team joining us courtesy of paninis down in Atlanta for all the Super Bowl festivities. What's the one facet of your game? Tyler. I mean, you obviously made great strides. We talked about this a month ago kind of stuff you've been doing. But what's what's kind of the one facet? You're concentrating on this off season to really you can take your game up even another level potentially, regardless of who the new coaches. Like a development hole on your own game. You know, but just firm on that, you know, just get more explosive quick twitch and just speed, you know, things like facets explosive more supposedly has developed around craving believe that that would take my game to another level because over in great routes moved and on my breaks. I have great hands. You know, just get that that that extra explosion. Emmy, I think it'd be lights out for change..

"First career went yard season. You know? A lot of a lot of great plays throughout the year. What what do you attribute that most that big jump? Is it just the preparation, you know, obviously that that big year three that NFL players hit what what's kind of the big what was kind of the big catalyst to that in twenty teen. Oh, going back tours going back to my second year when I got hurt with the same engine, Delaware. Now, it was pretty much a next man up league, you know. So once I was readying and healthy to come back and play they already had the ball rolling with the guys that we had, you know, I couldn't be say without adages potato work and just during their could to give out there and wait for another opportunity. And finished on the last regains one third of getting back into my original role where I was doing my rookie year. And then they're making big plays and play that that was crucial in the the played a really really made it for me was the raven gain game of the year and ever since then I had that mindset to continue to keep that focus. You know, continue to to work out the next day and distributed could take myself in in ways where I feel like I'm weak out. You know, nothing came in very strong. And and and and and came in better in every area of my game. And all I needed was for them to give me another opportunity. I'm just going to, you know, take full advantage of it. Well, first one thousand yard season. And in in one of the last game you played this last year. You you celebrated in style. Chad Johnson style with the with the river grass because you were the first receiver to notch thousand. Yards not named AJ grain since Chad Johnson. I assume that was probably something in the back your mind. That's why he went that route with the celebration, right? May I have been been wanting to do Ocho dance. I was thinking about door some the week. I think that's what I wanted to bring some out when we played in my home, but I didn't end up getting. But I knew I wanted to do it soon about wanna do at home game. You know? So like the fans until it and everything, you know. But I'm glad it worked out the way. Then there was a real honor to to to to to show some loved Ojha next line of a lot of great Bengals receivers in you. And you nail that river dance man that was those pretty solid. Talking with Tyler Boyd wide receiver of the Cincinnati Bengals joining us courtesy of video Tyler you went to the university of Pittsburgh grew up in the area. You now play for the bangles you play against the Steelers twice a year. You know, he's obviously the coach gave me two fraternity. And just just just knowing about his legacy and long been around. You know pros a lot even though he didn't wanna play game. He was winning coach, you know, and everything he did was meaningful soared me. You know is good to me on and off still, you know, help me get through things when needed to sit down to rethink about things. And just did a great job. Put me in the win. Yeah. A year of transition now, it would appear now that obviously Lewis has gone and the Bengals are reportedly. I don't know how how close of attention you've been paying to what's been going on with the Bengals and they're coaching search. But apparently there in the market for an offense of minded guy. That's gotta be music to your ears, especially with what you did last year. I mean, there's a lot of names being kind of kicked around. But you're are you have to be pretty excited about the fact of the Bengals are kind of re-emphasizing offense going forward year. You know, like you said to to have a physically rule coming in definitely excites office player. Of course, you know. But I'm just just whatever comes in vote.
