"I don't think we can have apple podcasts without talking about the cornerback position. They've obviously went in addressed. The cornerback position a a little bit with clayborn. The pressure has been put on these guys but i'm personally still fascinated in anxious to see what this cornerback group looks like against a different group of receivers. That isn't the world beaters that the chiefs have on their roster right now mattie in the bengals right now or about as far from world leaders at wide receivers you can be so this is definitely a good game to ease into it on a disrespect tyler boyd boyd. I like tyler boyd name me another bengals wide receiver dane san's and bhakkar played there once precisely nicely so john us. I said why thousand seventeen n._f._l. Draft i said wide receiver not offensive weapon so anyway unaddressed to see how chavez wards gonna do when he's not lined up against john ross because that's the same speed that's giving him problem camp but like how does he do against boyd. How does he do against non on tyreek. Hill mccoll harvard type speed is he able to keep up a guys is his foot. Were good enough. Can you change directions. Quick enough to stick to guys and not rely on playing catch up uses link in hope. The balls will place to get a make a play on it. The shot brillant seems like he's just spent solid can continue that in the preseason and then. I'm really interested to see what mark fields can do. I will become a play better than any other cornerback team. Just the simple fact that i wanted to be really hard to the chiefs not to play him because i think he's he's got that much talent or see. I'm just here for rashard fitting like i. I'm here for him. How may away no no. I'm not i gotta stop with that because i throw in some serious shopping. I like rashad fit just fine. He's a good returner offense highlights. Yes yes but yeah that's all it. Is you wanna see these guys perform better than we've seen in camp against a worse group of wide receivers achievers start to make feel a little bit more comfortable about the chiefs quarterback situation if they come out and they're able to lock up this group of wide receivers because because they should this isn't a good group of wide receivers so if they're out there they're able to do that. That gives you a little more. Hope going into the season. Even if it is just this preseason because morris claiborne coming they may even still add another guy to the mix we'll see but that that will give you a little hope that they can get through towards towards when the cavalry is coming the guy at cornerback. I'm most interested in seeing with with regards to the starting group is very word. <hes> i wanna see you know we've. We've really had a small sample size of this guy. We really have and i want to see him playing in a steve spagnolo defense. I wanna see him playing off coverage. Frankly <hes> i wanna see him trying to read the routes routes. <hes> read the route distribution making place <hes> guys. I want you to give me one player on oh and one player on d. that you guys are focused in on watching for me. Craig for me player on offense that i'm most excited to watch is darwin thompson <hes>. We've seen him in camp. We know kind of what he is that contact balance that speed that pass catching ability. I want to see him. Run the ball a little more. We didn't see too much of that in camp the days that i was there so i just wanna see what he looks like running the ball probably not between the tackles but i still want to see him ball in his hand see how he looks as running back at this next level and then of course on defense. I wanna see one thornhill. He's he's making wolf an interception a day at this point he is you know they say not to believe in camp reports but you know what when it's happening every single day all the time. There's something there against one is good at foot want is he's excellent out good football. I'm buying so buying it right so i'm expecting you know a couple of picks. He's going to house one like he's. He's gonna put on a show this weekend. It was so obviously this college film that like there was a very clear way that he was winning. He was playing.
A.J. Green's injury on 'subpar' Bengals practice field will cost wide receiver up to two months
"Speaking of injuries unfortunately an M._r._i.. Has revealed that Cincinnati Bengals Wide Receiver A._J.. Green has torn ligaments in his left. Ankle is according affording to Schefter here. They are likely to sideline green six to eight weeks up really not a good situation and teammate Tyler Boyd questioned the turf. The team was practicing on when green was injured. It was terrible. I couldn't run any routes out there. I'm falling all over the ground man it was it was bad. It was rocks pebbles out there man it was somewhere we should have been just feel like the turf was old. You know it just wasn't we didn't get good traction in and out of her breaks. You know a lot of guys not just me was on the ground but I mean who wasn't up there that long but there's gotTa make a word man. We gotta get it well. The turf was that welcome stadium at the University of Dayton where the bengals are practicing coach you buy this well. I haven't seen the video really in this instance probably not but I will say that you know feel. Surfaces are very very important for player safety. You know whether it's a grass field you know what is the old school latch with Pittsburgh steelers. We practice on hard old school astroturf every day for five years so no you got to look at it but in that instance I think it was a matter of the kind of rolling up on the back of his ankle and that was what I saw caused that particular injury about sure it was the field service problem here in addition to the injury of course which is is paramount is the optics of this and when you have a player who says this sort of perception is reality and then then it's out there and you got players. You might believe this is the case whether the optics to this are awful and this time of year teams are trying to realize their fan N._B._C.'s. I've been a part of that for a number of years. Every team has an operations department and kind of like the offensive line. You'd never talk about the operations department until there's a problem and part of their responsibility is to advance where hotels are safety of the fields whether or not the field deal with safer not now the perception is that it was a problem now e._j.. Green fairness may have gotten hurt it was on their practice field but they're players now think that was a factor and they're at the University of Dayton given rookie head coach. He's trying to establish himself itself and now he has a problem in the locker room because these players are questioning what the organization did and that Operation Staff that you're referring to my signed off on the practices being here the League went to them. They sent a site survey team to inspect the field and that site survey survey team for the Bengals said this field is okay to practicing and maybe they thought it's one practice we can get through now. You've got a situation where you see A._J.. Green get hurt on this play and we can take another look at it right here where he goes up for the past the D._v. lands on his ankle. He's on the turf tears ligaments in his ankle. He's going to be sixty weeks. Think about how much is at stake your now. You have a first year head coach Zack Taylor who's trying to come in and implemented program. They've already lost their first round draft. Pick joyner Williams to a season ending injury. Now you lose your left tackle. You lose your number one wide receiver. They are at a loss there and A._J.. Green himself is going into the last year of his contract so at a time when we're talking about new deals for Michael Thomas in Amari Cooper Julio Jones guess who else was on that list of A._J.. Green so what happens now to his value as argument now that he is going to be out for some period of time and organization standpoint. That's a really difficult position because A._J.. Degrees could say hey. I've done all the right things. I was out there practicing at the university because you wanted me to and now that's going to hurt me and take money out of my own pocket. It could really cause a situation to go awry very quickly and again even if the operations team went through all the protocols the the perception is that this feel wasn't safe and now they have a problem with one of their best players. Yeah I think that team without J. Green if you look at their record versus with huge and so he's a big part of their team. He's going to be missed. This is that there's a fair amount of injury here to start. You know this is not the way not the way you want to get off the ground. No team does last last year he missed time with a toe injury and when he was out of there the offense did not operate the same toddler boys production fell off and everybody thinks talent boy. We'll just emerge as the number one guy and he's a really good wide receiver but the fact that matters A._G.. Green when he's out there makes tyler. Holler bought a better received. John Ross still has not stepped up as the first round draft pick that he was. He says he's ready to do that. Will they need him to do that. They've got some other players Alex Berenson some good young receivers but A._J.. Green is on a level with Julio Jones. He's is that kind of talent and when you Jack Taylor coming into his offense it's hard to get by without somebody that good.

"With CINCY JUNGLE DOT COM and the orange and black insider bengals podcast. I hope you are all doing well. It's been a little while since at least from this platform the facebook live platform. It's been a little while since we have been able to join you. Bring you some big news all of that good stuff <hes>. I'll be here for a few minutes. If you want to ask some questions. I'd love to potentially answer those those for you but <hes> right now we're gonNA talk mostly about Tyler Boyd contract extension that came across the news wire on Tuesday morning Tuesday afternoon as well as <hes> the train the Bengals it was training camp that <hes> opens up later this week now <hes> tyler boy just was just completed a press conference in official press conference with the team and the local media so if you go to the bengals twitter account or bank social media accounts you should be able to find some of that in some of his answers to questions that were asked of him in this extension but let's get right to it. The bengals signed Tyler Boyd Loyd after an exceptional twenty eighteen campaign. They signed him to a four year deal worth about <hes> forty Leila's forty three million <hes> so he's making over ten million yeah forty three million dollars over four years so he's making a you know basically almost eleven million dollars per year if you go by average salary rankings in the League according to SPO- track <hes> <hes> that puts him right about number nineteen or so in the League <hes> twentieth is Sterling Shepherd the wide receiver from the giants he's making ten point two point ten million two hundred fifty thousand dollars a year on average and <hes> tied for Eighteenth Larry Fitzgerald of the Cardinals Emmanuel Sanders of the broncos making eleven million dollars <hes> so you know he's right in that at about number nineteen ahead of guys i Tyler Lockett Devin funchess inches Jamison crowder golden Tate Sean Jackson so <hes> you know pretty big payday big jump in terms of pay for him in with it comes large expectations for him I don't I don't know that especially if aged green is going to be healthy for most if not all of the season and of course that's the hope I don't know if we should expect the same one thousand yard type of season and some of the stats that tyler other boy put up in two thousand eighteen but I think you know he's going to be a very valuable piece. I think the hope is that in Zack Taylor system that is very passing friendly wide receiver friendly <hes> that you know the bengals could potentially emulate relate what the rams did last year with guys like Brandin cooks with guy you know <hes> Robert Woods a number of different receivers that the rams employed had great seasons. Both Woods and cooks had over twelve. Twelve hundred yards receiving over eighty catches a piece <hes> handful of touchdowns a piece as well so I think obviously the blueprint is there for the bengals to use A._J.. Green and Tyler Boyd in a similar type of fashion hopefully be able to emulate a lot of the production that we saw from the rams last year so <hes> you know there are risks and rewards of this you know with with a deal to Tyler Boyd. Obviously the big risk is the fact that you know he took a huge trump <laughter> last year and it was that outlier because of some injuries and <hes> you know being force fed because A._J...
Tyler Boyd, Bengals Reportedly Agree to 4-Year, $43M Contract Extension
"News from the NFL the bangles are signing receiver Tyler Boyd to a four year forty three million dollar extension through the twenty twenty three season the New York Giants sign top draft pick quarterback Daniel Jones to a four year twenty five point six million dollar deal and that contract is fully guaranteed including the sixteen point seven million dollars signing

"I would not make that that would put the jets above them the raiders so you are apprehensive about some of the potential output for this offense yes expectations. You said this might be the team that you would you body yeah. It might be the team that I body in the sense that look not everybody's he's GonNa be good next year for offense we we only talk about the offensive side of the ball here predominantly and offseason. Everything looks rosy for most of the big names and this team's full of big names A._J.. Green Tyler Boyd came out last year on fire. <hes> Joe Mixing there are plenty of options here but Zac Taylor yeah he's sprayed on his spritz as Cologne and said hire me but we've got a head coach who has very very very little that we know about you know what I mean like we know track record no history to draw upon so is he a good head coach. I hope so is he gone out there and lost a bunch of games in college out of it helpful but that's fair but at least we know what kind of offense of output we have with Queen. Oh we're getting a loser. Oh yeah you got more of a track record. The Combo of Vegas saying look this team is going to be bad. They've got a new unproven head coach. If the wheel start to fall off I worry about having these players. I worry about even Joe Mixon who I think he's such a town toback. Thankfully he's a pass catching back as well so they're down they can they could still utilize him but I think A._J.. Green reinjured himself Dalton could get pulled some point. I what about regression for Tyler Boyd of green is healthy. Yes I mean well. Tyler boy was better yet. The games aged green played <hes> significantly better so the heat when when we saw you know there's the misnomer of maybe well aged greenness games. That's just not broke out that was on time together. My counterpoint to your point is that they already already were all those bad things last year and we had a very nice output from Joe Mixing. I I looked up a stat this weekend. Two point five nine yards before being contacted out of the backfield. That's the kind of number you see with the shot out of a Canon type guys Philip Lindsey necker led the League in that category. I was shocked to see what mixing did with his offensive line. They already stunk twenty-first in rushing twenty four th and passing that that would be my only counterpoint not to say look camps there ceiling to be on a bad team. Most of the time is fantasy owner. I'm out there looking for running backs on great teams with touchdown ceilings mixing last year. You didn't know if he'd find his way around the goal line from week to week. That's a problem. His ceiling is a problem. I agree with you on that so let's talk about A._J.. Green great wide receiver was dominating last year. You can't forget right when he started the season. I believe he was the wide receiver receiver seven <hes> in in just the wide receiver nine in points per game three week eight four is okay and then he gets injured but now he's been injured a lot usually below the shin..

"Like what has changed? Apologize. Apologies to you. Guys did though, what's changed? Man. I hear about brotherhood. I see the talent. And I wonder how you feel looking at this team in this culture right now. Brotherhood. I love it. And this is something join Herman's definitely put a lot of focus into creating the right culture, where it's not what Canada can do for players, and look playing for Canada. Help me get seal minute Vancouver. Whitecaps is what can the players do for Canada? And John Herman spent five years in New Zealand developing as a coach. And he he's tried to stab wish a no dickhead culture. A little bit like the All Blacks and the, the players have really bought into it, and, and really come together, and I still think they're volving. There's more to come, but also field there's a real sort of togetherness, it is no longer a camp. Oh, great. I'm away from what bug for ten days. I can sort of put my feet up and, you know, if we win gray if we don't I just go back to my club and, and I'm back into, you know, trying to win a trophy or get out of a relegation. You've been around the game for while in Canada. You're now with it at all levels youth coaching. I know you work with the Canadian primer league as well. We see this young generation coming through how different is the landscape of the sport in Canada. What's causing such a great generation to push through? I think just more opportunity, I think it easier for players to latch on whether it be in Europe or, or develop here. I in kademi at Toronto Montreal or Vancouver. And, and now there's a clear pathway for these players to, to show what they can do, and one of the problems through my generation at Alana, talented, individuals, but the weren't enough plain regular minutes, and I think now players or getting offer -tunities. I think we've got a real diverse player profile here. And now, I think we're doing a better job of harnessing that or create curriculums or. Better and were, I think it's still another three or four years away where you really see the fruits of our labor and hopefully start to compete with you guys Davies the name on. Everybody's lips just because of where he signed, what he didn't Himalayas. He's an incredible talent. Co leader in goals at the last Gold Cup who's the most important player for the same. If they are going to do John Herdman things, they might be able to, to what you think they might be able to do and win it who has to shine to tough one. I think we're struggling at centre-half I think meal Henry, it's great that he was able to get through ninety minutes on the back of a hamstring injury. He picked up with the Whitecaps. This is the first time he's played in close to a month. I think his partnership with Cornelius is important. It'd be interesting to see whether Tiba Hutchinson has been excellent. I think he's played his cell right back into the team whether it's in fielder in the back line, I think he's going to be important. I think Jonathan David is. On the verge of big move to a tier one club or I'd love to see him as a GP and MLS. He's a player I love, but I think come the group stages when it comes to knockout when it comes just a little bit tighter. And you maybe need a moment of brilliant. I think that's where hopefully can be able to rely upon someone like Affonso daisies and I, I really believe he needs to play higher up the pitch. And if you get them not volun- good areas. We saw you almost scored at one down. You can just create something out of nothing and really drive your, your crew up to a fish, Terry got a relationship with the say and John Herdman. Get my guy T-ball tobacco and come on this might be his last goal Cup. Do not do this to me. It's an interesting one. I, I don't mind it against the smaller nations with all due respect to Cuba Martinique. He plays a role quite similar to Sheikh this, where he's that deep lying quarterbacks setting up attacks. You haven't really had to defend thought he defended quite well against Mexico, personally would have played it in the middle and, and demille on the right hand side where Canada might have been able to set at the tax little bit better. But it's an interesting one. I think it's a big decision for John Herman who he is gonna play in that fixed, or whether it's a double pivot, Mark, Anthony ks than brilliant. We're still getting a little bit of humble. Pie here Toronto. Yeah. Whether I thought that was okay against Martinique that Opie interested. See when the join Herman trust in him in the next game against Cuba or whether it Ciba's rested against Cuban than you burn them into that, number six position. He's so good at an any place, the chic, this is just a wariness. He's just a step ahead of, of everybody. Reliable and possession. So I agree with you. But just kind of looking at a personnel were so thin on the back line. I think that's why John's plan that we're going to let you go after this last question. Of course Canada finishing off the group stages. And then we expect on the knockout rounds, maybe Mexico in the semi-finals talking about funds of Davies further up the field. And then I think about Jonathan Dave, and then you have junior high. And then you have Lucas Cavaillon Kyle Aaron what is actually the best attacking mix lineups. It doesn't feel like you can have David off the field right now. No. I and I think you need Jonathan David as a nine hundred place again, I scored eight twenty three this season. He's great at getting on the end. Movement sexual, and I think he just lose them a little bit. A wide have is that I thought cavalier was a beef against Mexico. So it might be horses for courses where you bring Cava lean back in, if Canada do get to Mexico. You know, he plies his trade with poo, blah, I thought he caused problems up top, and that type of big strong powerful for result with Josie L to door against Mexico size. Mccown CAF Champions League do cause cause problems, I think against cost Rica. If everything goes to plan, I think you'll see a front three of Jonathan David phones, Davies on the left and junior Hoylake on the right just kind of playing in that house face. The plan the plan for candidate knockoff Cuba, get to the knockout rounds. Maybe see Mexico in the semis. And maybe just maybe go back to the final Terry done filled. You can follow on Twitter, Terry underscored done field as an analyst, and academy coach for TSE among many other things, Terry, thanks to join us. Men. Thanks guys. Thanks for joining us here to Canada. They're coming up. They got Cuba, Cuba in the third matchday for group. A on Sunday. Six PM eastern Martinique in Mexico are the final match Mexico are going to go through. We know that Canada you figure as well. Interesting tweet Artie loss players. Yeah. They're well players defected, he was saying they lost players and the players defend. Interesting tweet was Bronco, in case you know, he used to coach Canada. He said, dear candidate soccer fans, Canadian men's nasty will have a fine Gold Cup showing not because of some great tactics. But in spite of, if they thought they could PowerPoint their way through at think again against Mexico. It was a typical case of dying of hunger with a full refrigerators kind of sounds like he agrees with you. Guys play the first team. And why are we switching it up? Why are we like we gotta hide what we have from Mexico when who knows what we have against the best competition in Concha Catholic in the world, and we have to mention communism. Brana was let go from the Canada. Job in under less than a year. So he has he's got reason to be healthy and be frustrated. I think he helped start some of what this movements been. But I think it's the idea of like Bruce Arena, right? I'm gonna put my best eleven players out there guys play that position. I, I don't know that you'd say Greg world, but someone who's like a group chanting chat was thrown your reference. I just want to say, but, like I thrown out over thinking things, or just thinking about every moment, and there's different schools of thought in this I mean there are different coaches and there are different coaches in the game at the exact same time who are both successful looking at the game from different points of probably different coaches in different point of view. I don't want to speak for anybody on that candidate staff. But there's probably somebody plan the. You know the other sites in. Hey, but why don't we just put out our best team? And see what happens shouldn't we get through Cubano understand the results shimmy? They've got to make sure they get the points to get through. And so you rest for cube. I get that. And it was positive from Terry Dunphy from someone who's been in this camp, who's currently covering the team in the Gold Cup. He was positive, I think, more positive than we were before we talked to him. So the, I think the vibe around that all is probably where it needs to be. I think he's clearly John hardman's managing that Agnew that just funny that a coach is going to Twitter. Yeah. It's like it's like, you know, you don't go into your Instagram, your exit Instagram like it's just feels. Yeah. A little bit messy dropping some more. Likes in a row your day October you doing? Love actually. A little bit hard done by. Drake. This is Mark kkob backup. All right. Let's talk US vibes. They're always little shaky when it comes to women seem, they'll also. Durham US by the way, if we start getting distracted, they may be on the funder in front of us here. If you're watch on YouTube, so watch out for that one Tyler Boyd coming up in just a second gonna call in. We'll find out who he is, whether the New Zealand accent is indeed his or fees. Just trotting out there four nothing against gyna-. That's a it's a win was convincing at times unconvincing at others. I'm calling this, the Tyler Boyd Paul areola game for the US to kick off the Gold Cup. It was good enough. It was nowhere close to perfect. And it was an opportunity for the wingers to shine and they did, I think probably the best we've seen Paul areola in a US shirt was, like super clean all night, had the finish had the assist Tyler Boyd with a couple of really beautiful goals as well. So that's nice gripper author says progress every game. That's what you should see. I think we saw in this game. What did you like those? I mean you can only play against competition that's in front of you. And you only get the opportunities I right there. And those took their chance. And those those are the two. Question marks for me is saying who are going to be the wingers that emerge. I think we all know Josie outdoors gonna come back into this team. If we're going to try and make the final, and if we're going to potentially win it, it's going to be because of Josie door. I know Christian is, you know, the, the, the main man on this team, but Josie is going to have to be the one to score goals, but I questioned on the wing. I loved what I saw from boy, I thought he was fantastic. Areola bring that finish quality is pace his movement. Both of those guys energy really changed again. What did you like about board? Get a little bit specific for me given that I can see Kaelin car out on those wings, cutting in doing his thing. You might have a little feel for it that I needed to go to New Zealand check in Portugal, and then to Turkey been around, but, but he we saw against Venezuela, a little bit of his quality and most of it was his delivery. We saw the set pieces. He serves a dangerous ball whether from from a set piece, or from the run a play and this game we saw whole other side of his came. The ability to find a little bit of space to have some creativity.

Hard to go against who's who's your favorite or most entertaining. Follow on social media. Oh, I have to go on. So much with the first one hit my mind with clash whereas the full. I see a lot of Chad stuff. Chad Johnson stuff too. He's pretty. Yeah. If you weren't if you weren't playing professional football. What would you be doing you think which what kind of a dream job outside football? Great question. Hopefully, I'm trying to get finish school. Knowing get my degree in business in hopefully, try to get some type of clothing land and come up with some type of brand I can start up in trying to you know. So from like that awesome. How many wins for the Bengals this year? Twelve. Wow. Twelve I like it. A like it. Think that's look ledger to start game body. I like it a like it. We're talking with Tyler Boyd joining us here in the orange black insider via Espy nation in the cincy jungle dot com website. He is joining us via paninis down in Atlanta for the Super Bowl. And Tyler tells a little bit about what you're doing with Panini. Tuck about earlier, which is helping out with the kids. You know? His thing showed they're still stand on the right track. And that follows no China make much of leaders possibly know just trying to build their competition in in any area. You know, even in the classroom and on the feel, you know, so got to relate in their their stands growing up. So just just have not determination from kids and just making them chill competent theirselves. Just just motivated a little bit. That's awesome. Well, have have fun. The rest of the weekend down there. Joined the rest of the game. Enjoy the game this weekend. And hopefully, we can have you on again soon in definitely bra before to appreciate it Goodwin. That's Tyler Boyd wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals joining us for the second time in a matter of basically a month. So pretty excited about that. Good talking to him catching up with him. Tyler Boyd who is doing a lot of different stuff this Super Bowl week Tyler. How are you, sir? Yeah. Thanks for joining us, again, really stoked to have and catch up with you. Last time we talked obviously the Bengals were in a bit of flux in terms of coaching and whatnot. We'll talk about that in just a second. But how's how are the festivities? You're are you in Atlanta right now? How are the festivities treat you down there? I think all great, you know, just here. The Booker T is cool. You know? It's a little bit different jobs with and just showing them different way, you know, just just trying to develop different sector skills. But it's the kids, you know, and just make actually funding just just teach them how to have a hard word. It's awesome Tyler's. Joining us courtesy of Panini. We'll talk about what he's doing with them in just a minute. Tyler. I wanted to ask you. I mean, obviously, the the Bengals haven't quite made a decision yet or an official decision yet and official announcement on their head coaching job. But I think signs are pointing to Zack Taylor of the Rams. He's obviously coaching in the Super Bowl this weekend. What would that mean to you and to the Bengals locker room for the team to be bringing in a guy coaching in a Super Bowl right now and potentially coming in and coaching the Bengals right after that? Oh, well, just just to see the production. That around has, you know, does type offers fair like the rest of the guys the love, you know, we love a combinator just like office found that would love and this after like a younger guy coming in. You know, I think we'll just bring a lot more juice, you know, because Kathy can relate a lot more with the players dot van age plays any factor of anything with the team, you know. But I think it would you know, I think that's used that we kinda need for the team to get point. Speaking of the Rams offense. I'm sure you've you've seen quite a bit of it. Either highlights or or what have you been last year? The Rams offense had to twelve hundred yard receivers the Bengals offense. Even without the coaching change yourself out of thousand yard season, you missed a couple of games towards the end of the year aged green got hurt. He was on pace for one of his best years of his career. You've gotta be excited as to what potentially. If Jack Taylor is higher. You gotta be excited about what he brings. And how do you see yourself maybe fitting into a system like that? You see a similar type of production year like that like you had last year. Definitely, you know, because with the around here is great over there. You know? Good and everything great. But I think a difference with coach from the coaching me AJ links. You know, we're telling them in sale and ca-catch more vote. We think be the extra edge of his king. No of be a lot more easier for. Two guys often to go off, you know, personally, ever a dominant tight in. Well, you know, so we got range, you know, every guy around is tall. He no in rages. Believable. You know? So I think we got that extra element over the Rams of Sheva core. You know? Yeah. They have weapons everywhere. Talking to Tyler boy bankers wide receiver coming off his first career one thousand yard season with the team joining us courtesy of paninis down in Atlanta for all the Super Bowl festivities. What's the one facet of your game? Tyler. I mean, you obviously made great strides. We talked about this a month ago kind of stuff you've been doing. But what's what's kind of the one facet? You're concentrating on this off season to really you can take your game up even another level potentially, regardless of who the new coaches. Like a development hole on your own game. You know, but just firm on that, you know, just get more explosive quick twitch and just speed, you know, things like facets explosive more supposedly has developed around craving believe that that would take my game to another level because over in great routes moved and on my breaks. I have great hands. You know, just get that that that extra explosion. Emmy, I think it'd be lights out for change..

"Unfortunately, we scheduled Mark Walton for an interview that didn't come to fruition, unfortunately. But we've been. Approach to be able to talk to Tyler Boyd again about a month later. We're gonna talk about some other different stuff some different topics now that you know, the Bengals are closer to naming their new head coach. I think we all know who at this point who that will be in where the Bengals are going to be headed. So we are actually catching up with either. Boy, again later this week in the second interview with him will be available through the podcast network. Let's let's hope that what happened with Mr. Walton doesn't happen with Mr. boy this time, but there should be a second interview with Tyler Boyd coming up on the feed in the next handful of day. So we're excited to be talking to him again. And it will be different interview. I promise than the first one we had a few weeks ago. So we're excited have Tyler Boyd on the program again here on the orange black insider and finally was this is why we kinda got a little bit of a late start among other reasons tonight. I was reviewing some of the podcast download numbers and all of that. With my co host, John chairman, I'm pleased to announce that we have absolutely. Shattered some of our highest download numbers of this show this month this month is been outstanding. Now, some of that has to do with the Espy nation adoption that took place at the beginning of the season in the additional promotion that comes from that some of that has to do with the fact that there's just more news, and you know, the the interest level of Bengals fans has risen. So, you know, there's just more listeners more to talk about unusual this offseason with the coaching and all that stuff. We've tried to give you a couple of other things to download the Tyler Boyd interviews in breaking news stuff all that stuff. But it still has to be given the kudos to be given to the listeners John because they are showing great. Enthusiasm it renewed vigor in this team. I guess and we are reaping the benefits of that. So I wanna say thank you. Sure. John you echo my sentiments on that. Yeah. I mean, I guess we couldn't entirely convince people to switch from locked on Bengals to us. But since locked on. I guess it didn't really have a choice. So no matter how you got here. How glad you're here. And I'm glad that you're downloading the crap out of her show because it just makes it better. So thanks guys. Yeah. I mean. It is a substantial increase by by thousands and thousands to be quite honest with you, which is awesome for our our podcast our little niche in the podcast world. We talk about not the most popular team. But we love doing it. And the some of the most passionate fans are are bangel 's fans, and they come on this show. So thank you for the downloading. Thank you for listening. Thank you for your emails your engagement during our live shows, whether that's called the YouTube chat. All that stuff. Can't thank you enough. We appreciate it. So just a couple of housecleaning items before we can kick off into everything this week. I wanted to just say thank you and let you know about some things coming down the pike. Now, I can say you can download this show on I tunes on Stitcher on Google play on megaphone. Gotta get used to sing a megaphone also on YouTube, and of course, all of our stuff is on cincy, jungled dot com. So keep downloading how you've been downloading it. We appreciate. The support. And we can't thank you enough for that. Yeah. So I guess the main topic has just been the senior recap in just the aftermath of that overall. I think and if you weren't here last week when I kinda ran down the senior stuff, I think the the main positions that stuck out them was just overall trench players offense of defensive lineman is really one of the reasons why I like to go down there and see those matchups but other like besides that, you know, watching receivers and quarterbacks and they're wanna once really tells you a lot about them as well..

"And we all hope that you continue to build on what you did last year because that jumped you made from twenty seventeen to twenty eighteen was incredible. In your your easily one of the most valuable players on the Bengals team this year talking about top performers and whatnot. You have teamed up with video as they've nominated you as one of the top value per performers of twenty eighteen talk a little bit about that. Obviously. This is a great time of year to look at some TV some sound equipment and whatnot to prep for the big game. So tell us what you're doing with busy. Oh, not this you, you know, just just shows how much work in education put in you know, to to to to see. "First career went yard season. You know? A lot of a lot of great plays throughout the year. What what do you attribute that most that big jump? Is it just the preparation, you know, obviously that that big year three that NFL players hit what what's kind of the big what was kind of the big catalyst to that in twenty teen. Oh, going back tours going back to my second year when I got hurt with the same engine, Delaware. Now, it was pretty much a next man up league, you know. So once I was readying and healthy to come back and play they already had the ball rolling with the guys that we had, you know, I couldn't be say without adages potato work and just during their could to give out there and wait for another opportunity. And finished on the last regains one third of getting back into my original role where I was doing my rookie year. And then they're making big plays and play that that was crucial in the the played a really really made it for me was the raven gain game of the year and ever since then I had that mindset to continue to keep that focus. You know, continue to to work out the next day and distributed could take myself in in ways where I feel like I'm weak out. You know, nothing came in very strong. And and and and and came in better in every area of my game. And all I needed was for them to give me another opportunity. I'm just going to, you know, take full advantage of it. Well, first one thousand yard season. And in in one of the last game you played this last year. You you celebrated in style. Chad Johnson style with the with the river grass because you were the first receiver to notch thousand. Yards not named AJ grain since Chad Johnson. I assume that was probably something in the back your mind. That's why he went that route with the celebration, right? May I have been been wanting to do Ocho dance. I was thinking about door some the week. I think that's what I wanted to bring some out when we played in my home, but I didn't end up getting. But I knew I wanted to do it soon about wanna do at home game. You know? So like the fans until it and everything, you know. But I'm glad it worked out the way. Then there was a real honor to to to to to show some loved Ojha next line of a lot of great Bengals receivers in you. And you nail that river dance man that was those pretty solid. Talking with Tyler Boyd wide receiver of the Cincinnati Bengals joining us courtesy of video Tyler you went to the university of Pittsburgh grew up in the area. You now play for the bangles you play against the Steelers twice a year. You know, you've got I'm sure family and friends in that area that probably have Steelers ties, but also wanna root for you in this rivalry just talk a little bit about that dichotomy..

"The battle of Ohio between the Browns and the Bengals in an interesting twist in this one is we bring in Jason air. Jason welcome back. How are you? Good afternoon to you, rich, and very I'm sorry. It was going to say the twister. You're talking about. I'm guessing him. We'll take a wild on a limb here and say It's Hugh Jackson. I would think that's correct. They were calling it the Hugh Jackson bowl here today in Cincinnati. Certainly interesting very rarely do you see a guy leave a job in catch on with another team before the season ends. But certainly that'll be one of the big factors today. How much will Hugh Jackson familiarity with the Browns helped the Bengals and the motivation of the Browns players to beat? You Jackson matter on the other end, they may cancel one. Another out. The injuries are probably a bigger story here today. Rich AJ green not going again today and his career the Bengals are four nine in one. When AJ does not play there's a trickle down effect. Tyler Boyd gets double teams. They're going to have to rely on Alex Erickson, John Ross, Cody core, one of those guys to step up. None of them have ever shown consistently to be a threat to catch the ball in the NFL and the other big one we heard about an hour ago. Cordy Glenn the Bengals big tag will not go today. Back injury. Jake Fisher starts at his spot. He gets the assignment against Myles Garrett. That could be a big mismatch. Fisher is going to have to step it up today. The Bengals offense gonna have to score points because they've had some serious. Serious trouble on defense. You know, we've talked about this big start often. And how things have leveled off I guess if you wanna be. Mildly positive about it. How much of it is is it about injuries Amine. Again. This team has had trouble staying healthy, especially Tyler I for who's done for the season once again and AJ green always around this time of the season as a as a little malady that caused him to miss a game or two and he's out today with the toe injuring of you mentioned cordy, Glenn, which is a big big loss. Yeah. The injuries have just killed us. Stephen. I've never seen anything like it. Three more players this week put on injured reserve Preston Brown was a starting linebacker just to PO in Washington for that defensive line rotation all three defensive players on I r shelter for the season. Joining eight other players eleven guys on I r Drake Patrick one of their top corners. He will not play today. He's banged up. And as you mentioned the top two threats on offense at least in the passing game. AJ green? Tyler I for both not there today. So yeah. The the injuries have absolutely decimated this team. The last thing I needed was cordy Glenn their big left tackle to be hurt. Today. The other thing too is when AJ greens not in the. Lineup. Tyler Boyd is shown some flashes. But it doesn't seem and granted it's a big loss. But when somebody big has left the lineup the Bengals just seemingly have not been able to replace that presence. Yeah, they haven't you know, you go back to the the tight end situation with Tyler riper. He was a big threat. And now they barely use the tight end the CJ you a more of a blocker. And you talk about AJ, there's just a trickle down effect there. Tyler Boyd now goes to the you know, the guy getting the tension with the double teams, and they just have not been able to get much out of John Ross second-year player out of Washington US the first round pick on him last year. Still waiting on him to step it up. Cody court dropped the pass last week in Baltimore game. That could have kept the last drive going Alex Erickson another gather hoping to rely on today. But a lot of question marks there. And they're hoping one of those guys can step it up without question and the obvious the storyline that we've mentioned up top Hugh Jackson. I don't know if it makes you wonder if the league should step in not everybody says, it doesn't seemingly. It's not seeming. We're going to make a difference. But it does kind of raise an eyebrow. Here. You would think because you know, when they signed him there. Remember these teams haven't played yet. So they're still two games. And he's going to be familiar with this Brown's personnel. How much that matters. I really don't know. You'd have to ask you guys down there. But it certainly has to be a factor. One with thank I mean, he's been with this team for three years and brought them through training camp in the first few weeks of the season. So you have to think there would be at least be a factor. Absolutely. I mean, I don't I don't see how it can't be again. I I was surprised to hear a lot of people say they don't think it's going to be a significant factor. I really I really can't see how it's not at this point. You would think he would know the tendencies of some of these players, you know, what they do in certain situations. So you would have to think of anybody would be a factor. It would be the guy who was coaching them to begin the see. Yeah. Just a couple of weeks ago. I mean, he's got scouting reports on every guy. Well, he would know more than anyone. I mean, even even if they decide to veer away from from principles that he had I mean, they still have to have pretty much a significant core that remains at this point. So it'll be interesting to see what happens today, but the Bengals have owned this series. They've won seven in a row against the Browns. The way Cleveland has played this year. Do you see that tide turning a little today? Well, you know, I would normally say without the injuries. I'd say not a chance to the Bengals have traditionally been able to run the ball down the Browns throat that's been the the last seven or eight games that haven't even been close. They've been able to run at will on this team. But they're looking at the situation today with the injuries. This may be a close one here today in the ninetieth renewal of the battle of Ohio where we could have a tight one here today. The Browns record has not been very good this year, but they have been competitive in the Bengals sorely need a win after that. Nice. Foreign one start at five and five Jason. Thank you for checking, your we'll touch base shortly after kickoff, rich. All right. Jason Earhart in Cleveland today where the Browns and Bengals clash and the injuries again continue to pile up first Cincinnati with AJ green cordy Glenn and Drake her Patrick among the list of an active today. Let's go to MetLife stadium where Mike Mancuso standing by another rivalry renewed. Which has been one-sided in recent years, the patriots and the jets, Mike. All right, rich. Good afternoon. Fifty three degrees. It's a real nice day here MetLife stadium. Let me throw a quick number at you. What do you think Tom Brady's record is against the jets, and he's had thirty one appearances twenty nine and to no twenty pretty good twenty five and six. Okay. So all that stuff about the cranky knee the illnesses, and they're not practicing on Friday. I'm not buying any of it. I think that what you have to be concerned about. If you're the jets is both these teams had buys last week, Tennessee embarrassed New England thirty four to ten. The jets got an isolated by buffalo forty one to ten so both these teams had really rough by weeks. But you gotta know noted the patriots coming in here at seven and three really looking to avenge that that blow out there two weeks to sit on that loss. And you know, Belgium, wasn't gonna keep them happy. So I did a jets gonna have their hands full today. Josh McGowan thirty nine years old. You know, he does get the star darnold again getting the week off with that. Sprained right foot. I don't even know if you'll see Donald next weekend. I think that he'll be back after that. But you know, I don't I see both sides of playing Donald letting him get a chance to go against the patriots. But you know, what it might not be the worst thing in the world. Let him watch this game on you know, on the sidelines looking film, and then he gets the played patriots getting a couple of weeks. But you know, we'll see it's been a rough by weeks of the jets shoot as you well know. Yup. Two very big notes on the inactive or active list. Mark. Dismay inactive the safety for the jets who's been good one. He's been in. But it has been been out a lot more than he's been in. And also that you have rob gronkowski is active. So that is a very big problem in a very big matchup issue for the jets big advantage of the patriots. They're and Sony. Michelle was active today as well. Yeah. You know, gronkowski's always played well against the jets, and you know, I know safety Jamal Adams who really respect Tom Brady and enjoys playing this game is gonna have his hands full. You know, gronkowski missed two games with back injury. Don't know if he's at full speed, but he will be playing and even if he's at half speed he's going to be a handful for the jets, you know, just a little side note as well Brady needs one hundred forty seven passing yards to become the NFL's all time leading yardage passer in regular season and postseason. He surpassed Peyton Manning is number seventy nine thousand two hundred seventy nine. That's how many phone calls. You have taken since you started doing just to let you know how I'll number how big that number is. Absolutely. Also three touchdowns. Behind manning on the all time list with five hundred seven days later for the fourth touchdown of the day, which which could very well happen with this team. Right now is the you know, the patriots. This is their time of the year, though, they have not looked like your typical patriot team through the first portion of the season. And now you get into the latter part of the season where they really seem to thrive. And this is it's almost like it's time for them to flip the switch. You get that feeling. Yeah. Well, you get the feeling because you've seen the play out a lot of times before you know, they they've won nine straight AFC east titles. Sometimes division has been you know, that strong. But yes, there, you know, if you look at the history there exactly where they used to be where they wanna be, you know, they're gonna be gunning for that home field that might not be as easy this year. But you know, what you know? I wouldn't want to play them in the playoffs. And you know, yes, they're getting their pieces back, you know, Gordon's actually even contributed a wide receiver. So I think they're very dangerous team. And you know, I don't even I'm not even sure what the spread is today. Seven or ten, but I don't see the just staying close..

"Let me ask you this question at Jack in the box. Had a question is Tyler Boyd. I don't know if it's the restaurant is Tyler Boyd. Keep saying it's not. I don't know. Definitively knows that they didn't ice job with the naming be a CHS. Oh bucks. Okay. Like a plan where I see clever is Tyler Boyd a league winner, and he wanted to know if we could do a couple of names around Tyler Boyd rest a season. So I got a couple of here to to you guys. Okay. Go ahead and I've have a thought on league winner, but yes, go ahead. Okay. So Tyler Boyd or Emmanuel Sanders recipes in Emmanuel's Emmanuel. Sanders Tyler Boyd or Al Sean, Jeffrey. Let's close but allow Sean. I'm gonna lean towards number one wide receivers in general, like offer their own team. Sure. In now I've come a long way with some of these guys like Jordan reading out Jeffrey. Yeah, I'm gonna go with Al Sean. Okay. How about Tyler Boyd or Kenny? Golladay. Who we just talked about this week. What about rest? ASEAN. I'm probably going to Kenny golladay for me. Tell you this is like there's a really great slate coming up right now for Tyler Boyd, chiefs bucks saints. In fact, toback toback week by week, smashing there too. But the border Allen Robinson, who is the number one on his team. Go go. Properties, the one, but there so many other pieces there that are playing really well for Chicago. All right. How about two more Tyler Boyd or Marvin Jones time? All right, Tyler Boyd or Devin? Funchess. Tyler Boyd k. So just my thing on league winners, we gotta be careful with that term like league winner is a player that you don't like necessarily forecast. At least my opinion is like guy that you weren't necessarily expecting to be like a definite solid contributed who all of a sudden becomes like the best player in your team each week, which is why Matthew uses like Sony, Michelle is a league win, right? Like if he's going to score if he's gonna finish the top eight running back the rest of the way that could potentially be a league winter. Like, I don't know that we have. Our boy does like a top ten wide receiver like we have them as like a wide receiver to maybe a really strong flex play like that isn't right depend like for the next few weeks, like the schedule, you just laid out love Tyler, but I'm not gonna feel that way every week. Yeah, I think James Winston example could be a or you might have grab. Him the struggling quarterback spot like James twenty five points each week was the, you have the reaction that was amazing because it's like you're leading right into the next question. How does.

"Might give you more confidence starting him, even in what will be perceived as poor matchups for the Bengals Tyler boy. Does he back. Back. Look back to me yesterday. Seven catches sixty two yards in two touchdowns on nine targets. Good for twenty five point. Two fantasy points might be like top twenty play this week against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night football given away the chiefs defend the pass. I had fifteen coming into this week. I mean coming into this week, Tyler Boyd was top fifteen in the NFL and targets. He is a legit wide receiver to I Tyler Boyd is nothing short of terrific. It is a high volume offense, obviously has a great connection with Andy, Dalton, and he's getting a lot of looks. I mean again, you know, I don't know guy was top fifteen targets prior to this game here, and then he goes on and gets nine targets. I mean some sixty two on the loveless. I'm not saying expected two touchdowns but yeah, I mean to me he was already a top twenty fantasy wide receiver. And I think he's creeping into that top fifteen range and other good game for Joe mix. We should plan. Name game with Tyler boy that we don't have time today, but we can do it maybe later. Oh yeah. All in Tyler Boyd and have been for a little while rushed effectively yesterday fifteen total touches for eighty four yards. And a touchdown. Quick mention if CJ use Oma if you're looking for a tight end by ninety, two percent of the snaps six catches fifty four yards. Tyler. I for out and Taylor cross going and time to he's getting opinions. His broken bone is foot, talking consulting specialists, so, but he's already said he's not playing in week seven. So you is the title the chargers rush the Brown yesterday. Thirty eight to fourteen in Cleveland. Melvin Gordon was amazing. Eighteen Russia's one hundred thirty two yards. Three touchdown, thirty five fantasy points for him. On the question we have on the chargers. Thank to is. Can you flex auks Austin actor seven Russia's for sixty yard? I think that the tricky part was he had no catches yesterday's zero targets for Austin. Akwa weird one. Yeah, they didn't need a game. They didn't need them. Yeah, they play next week in London. The chargers have. Not just awesome, but they have three guys could be flexible given week, right? Mike Williams more Tyra Williams or Austin, Ecuador, tyrod lambs, wait a hog the ball this week. I if you had Mike Williams hoping so frustrating. There's nothing more knowing than tyrod Williams comes out of nowhere. Right tonight. Sounds on hundred nineteen yards receiving and playing. It's me like I played in a league where somebody started tyrod Williams against me and it's one of those. It was a good. Bye. You'll say, what are you doing? And then and you're just like, oh, come on, come on Iraq. The Browns. It's sort of a tough day at the office yesterday to put it in. I think it's, I think, while as a nice performance by Williams, a couple of plays here, I think it would be hard to trust anyone not named Keenan Allen and passing game. Yeah, till we see more consistent. No, I completely agree on that part. It's sort of the the we separate. Ever. I don't know. You'll see consistency ever. Never been the chargers off. I'm with you on that the Browns bad day, but let's go to the positive side. I even joke whose trend is stock training in three games. The Baker Mayfield he has been really, really good, seven, fifty five on a touchdown yesterday, twelve targets tight end top eight tight end the rest I'd had him on the hate list coming into the week and part because the match up here and be in part of because if you look a little bit deeper into the usage and obviously just a bad call of just a total with by me on that one. So I apologize there on in joke who here, but it was nice to see and the touched on catch with something of beauty like it was like, we have this, this feature, the countdown does you know. But like you got moss David joke mosques, the chargers defender wasn't that play, but a brilliant catch from dividend joke, who he may eventually become a good player, but Antonio Calloway's issue is not good. That's his problem right now. He can't catch. The ball has to be literally hinted off to him for him to make catches at this point..

"You wears the socks. He wears the cleats. He wears the jersey, whereas the pants, but he's got your on other Giordano that that makes over. Okay. Yes. Speaking of Geordie. Two weeks ago Jordy Nelson. He had a monster game, one hundred seventy three yards and a touchdown. He had that game while Amari Cooper pooped his pants and one thing that has not been considered is the absolute breakout of a name that we will surely here over the next few years of Xavi and Howard star cornerback for the Miami Dolphins who has been locking down opposing once he's been unbelievable, right? He the beat has happened from training camp. If from last year even he's got AJ green Tyler Boyd has just been on fire. I am staying in the flames, and my start of the week is going to be Tyler Boyd. I think they're going to need him. They're going to use him. Why would you go away from him? And if he's one of those guys where it's like, I know he's been playing well, but his name is Tyler Boyd. I don't trust him. Trust him. This is going to be a match up. I think look bega Santa's going to be a lot of points scored. The Bengals are going to score those points. If for some reason AJ green struggles a little bit against avian Howard they might have to look towards Tyler Boyd. So that is my start of the week for those reasons. Make sense. Makes sense. He's been just a PPO monitor right now. I'm gonna go with eleven for a hundred last week six for one thirty two the week before Tyler Boyd my goat, the clear pass catching preference for Carson wins, and that is our Sean Jeffrey came back had a big game last week just under twenty fantasy points and Minnesota's secondary has been taken advantage of now look the Rams of the Rams. So I'm not projecting the Carson Wentz lead wide receiving corps to put up the three hundred seventy nine receiving yards and four touchdowns that the Vikings gave up last week, but they have been. They've been giving it up. I mean in week two. Thirty fantasy points to the wide receiver position week one against San Francisco. They gave up a touchdown and over one hundred yards. Ashwan is going to be the main guy and he seemed healthy and he seemed like, you know, I don't think we expect Minnesota to get shut out in this game. So I think there's a lot of opportunity here on both sides of the ball announced one's going to take advantage of the situation. So Alsons the start of the week, and I'm going to go with a guy on the opposite side of the field and ours wanted for your tight end for my tight end star of the week in give some people that confidence boost that push Karl Rudolf has been good..

We'll go flex flex conversational at Daniel bobick says Chris Thompson or Tyler Boyd, good options there. Assuming PR obviously, I'm gonna guess so. I think I would lean towards Tyler boy, but it's really close only because, yeah, I don't know. I mean, I don't think I have a great answer there, but I think Tyler Boyd, yeah, I think I think so too. The only concern is is boy, that's that's really close to, but but Tyler Boyd going up against Miami, you know, do you think Howard shadows, AJ, green, you know that that. By that. That's my, that's my argument there. And so Tyler Boyd who I believe has six catches for ninety yards and a on three straight games that right. I e column doing that at the top of my head. I believe that is correct. I, I don't know how you not right off hand. Yeah, ride the hot hand. I, I like both options. I don't think he'd screw that went up. But yeah, we're all on onboard with Todd Boyd Gatto 'Grande and it's a big cat. Yeah, of course. PR flex for you Ryan grant, John Brown or Dede Westbrook. Wow. I don't know how you take John brand, John Brown, your lineup, like I mean, we just talked about the red zone inefficiency of the Cleveland Browns and how much I like Jo-. Joe flacco will the guy he looks for the most when he gets in as actually John Brown. He leads an red zone targets. He leads the the ravens in red zone target. So I like all those guys, but for me Ryan grant because there's so many options tonight, you just don't know how that's going to play out and Dini Westbrook would be my second choice here. He actually, he makes the column today that's coming out later today. He's he's top five in the NFL in yards the catch. That's an area where the chiefs really struggle field. But for me, I just don't know how you go away from John Westbrook, really Brown. Did he pick. Why do you? What do you say match up? I want all piece of See everything. you just made the case for yards after catch baby. Fair enough. In the same matchup there's been discussion, the room about tyreek hill facing Jags with whether it's Ramsey were boy a matter. What's your confidence level in hill this week. This is a classic. We have less confidence in than we normally would, but it's not changing. Benching lineup, I'm gonna play tyreek hill. And if he gives me five for thirty two on Sunday, I'll live with it. Yeah, I agree that Kansas City is gonna put a points like I just too strongly about the quarterback. You saw what they did a Denver. It's there. It may not be the week where you get, you know, thirty seven points from each guy, but they're still going to put point. What was nice to see last week is that even in a game where Hilden have like the big play, he got like nine receptions fifty four. So too. So I mean, you know, the, the knock on hill was always like, well, he's big play dependent like he's not going to get tunnel looks last week. He got a tunnel looks like he got your fourteen some odd fantasy points and didn't have the big play. And so I think that was really encouraging. Some of that probably fueled by the fact that Sammy Watkins left the game, but they continue to scheme for him and find different ways to get the ball in his hand. That's what Andy Reid is going to do. The big play is more likely in this game because the one thing they can count on is tightly kale can outrun. That anybody everyone. Patrick Mahomes can throw it that far. So if they go for the big play, that's where they have the edge. So I, I actually, I still like tyreek hill this week. We got one last one here. Got forty..

"So when he got injured went up to field, I just my instant was this is over. This is done, but then you don't start hitting Tyler Boyd. I think that was my big takeaway from this game is that he's, he's number two guy now, right? Because they haven't losing sununu, you know, losing Marvin Jones. You see this, they've, they can't just have eighty green and to have Tyler Boyd emerge as that sort of outlive for Andy, Dalton, I think is my hope that they can keep this going. Yeah, I think Tyler board is really a safety vowel for, and I think when he is in trouble now that is the first guy he looks for and I think he's really valuable in that role. I mean, he's not going to get a ton of places that's big place this year, but he's not going to be I think, consistently like a guy who has twenty yards per reception, but he's a useful underneath receiver. And I mean for a guy who really was ridden off this time last year, who was a healthy scratch for stretches of last season who really wasn't even getting significant touches a little bit at the end of last year. But I mean he's illegitimate number two receiver at this point. And sometimes this happens to guys, they break out after two or three years. They do find that role to pick a player. Do. I think he might necessarily remind me of he could kind of be someone like Germain curse in this Bengals offense where you know, like. Like he, you know, I'm gonna hit German curse sometime when we do a podcast like he just he could be a guy who I don't think he's going to win you a game on his own, but he's going to place is going to be a useful part of the running game as a blocker. He's going to be a guy who, at least if you're gonna teenage, eight green, he can probably beat your number two cornerback or he can beat your linebacker and safety coverage on. And I think with the Bengals in the past, like it was really. Okay. Well, it's going to be a Jake green or we're going to be stuck during Brandon. The fell can have to hope. John Ross is healthy for the stretcher and hope that Tyler Kroft can be guy, and we saw Tyler Kroft dropped a pass that turned into an interception this game, and the Bengals didn't skip a beat. They were just fine and the ball with the the guy they had left by the end of the game. The two thousand fifteen Bengals offensive deathshot first of all worth Clint Boling Russell Bodine, Kevin Zeiler Andre Smith on the line. I for eighty green, sin, new, Marvin. Joe just said, a lot of these things. Leaving, but it was absolutely insane. Oh, jeez. Oftentimes talent, and we when everything's right for Andy, Dalton, he is capable of being a great quarterback, I think, is when things go wrong, especially over the past couple years, they didn't have infrastructure to succeed in the line was a mess when age agreements heart. They didn't have that other option at receiver I for it was pretty much gone for the last two years. I mean, when when he has people around him, which is true about ninety percent of the quarterback in the NFL he's capable of winning games. And I mean, this defense is someone who we certainly know they have talent on defense. We have pass rushers. They have a really imposing at times front four questions in the secondary drinker. Patrick, I think is probably not especially good. But I mean, this is a team that it's not crazy to imagine them winning a bunch of games in the AFC. Yeah, I would say the secondary jumped out to me. I mean, again, it's and Calvin Ridley. Yes, so it's not entirely fair, but they did get Jackson, compassionate, got pretty towards type. Yeah. They're just very balanced team that I don't know what else to say. Like we talked about on balance teams, which the falcons in looking at this team, they do think you're right. They just they don't have huge glaring holes. Well, speaking of teams that have glaring holes, arm balance. Let's talk about the Sunday night game and talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers who I mean I wrote before the Steelers were going to Klein, did expect they were going to be not as good as a team..

"And again, we talked about how banged up that defense is field. I think this is a shootout game candidly, because we know the falcons offense is rolling. And so not only do I like Bernard and Tyler Boyd. I like the quarterback throw into him. Yeah, I think got chance to be a quarterback. I mean a week four quarterback streamer. He was on the waiver wire list this week. If perhaps you had concerns about your current starting quarterback based off of his matchup or Cam Newton slash Alex Smith. Those would be some dull Toby amongst the fill in performances. I like also by. The way just as an aside, whenever you pull up some unique wide receiver, stat of like, here's a list of players that have done this Antonio Brown's always included? Yeah. Calvin nearly four touchdowns over the past two games believable. The question I think really is this, I don't think it's stay hot. We can't expect him to score four touchdowns every two weeks. But like how many snapped or what do we Calvin really wants to expect him to score for touch. Now it's like now what is what has become the expectation for Calvin really at this point, are you starting in and expecting him to go over double digit points? I don't know if you can always guarantee the double digit points, but this is how I feel about him. I think he's the number two receiver. You know, I think he has replaced Muhammed's new and that role in terms of the volume tation don't tell me, I know you're gonna say he's number one who is number two. What I was gonna say, it's going to ask you. I was going to ask very simple question its defining, which is, are you saying most new is now less the new Nike? I'll be here all week. Thank you very much. I.
