"Right back to the phone lines. Let's go to area code eight, six, five you're you're on the life we your name and where you're from. Going on fifty we can. Even what's on your mind today? Nothing much man I just got a quick question and maybe one other one with ring of. Tyler Black signing me most likely this would be his. Delusion probably be one of his last matches at the papers coming up but these facing strong just wondering maybe I. Heard it wrong. But he's Ronnie GonNa go to a TA and the teacher. He got a trial Jason but I believe it or not they well, since I believe it or not they they. They weren't overly impressed from what I heard. It's they felt like he was basically the same wrestler that they had previously in that they like ring work a lot. They just don't think that there's much personality there and there's been some talk of trying to work around it you know I think he's another guy that he's gotta be considered right now a candidate for the title if he decides to stay because they just don't have that many options and I don't know if that's something that would appeal to him or not but I I haven't heard if they've made him an official offer, I guess wouldn't surprise me either way just because i. You know I did hear different things from people that some felt they could really find a way to work around his mike limitations and others just Kinda. Felt like you know it. He doesn't have that much to offer aside from what he can do in the ring and we've already got other guys who can deliver in the ring but can't really talk and and I also heard from people that hadn't seen before that. We're really you know seen them on TV but had never seen him in person and we're really surprised at just how small he was compared to what they the mental image they had him. Yeah I mean. Roderick was somebody who came on kind of Kinda slowly in our age where there was some people after the promotion Kinda got stripped to the established names and there was thought well, this guy looks pretty good. You know this guy actually be centerpiece type guy and I think to a degree by default pushed him quite a bit and he has had some real good. Moments resigned, but I don't know how much that translates into TNA formula right now I think if Tina had a very different formula approached approach what they do differently I think we could be in a better I I. I think he'd be in a better position to be taken advantage of, but as much as they pay lip service in convince in all the people are. Every impact all they're doing is talking to Dixie when you watch impact, just realize everything you hear is aimed at Dixie. Carter. Especially, if it stated by somebody over thirty three years old you know who? Who's got reputation for working people in playing people. Everything is planning to Carter and so much let services they play about Oh, this is a promotion for young guys. It's opportunity for Desmond Wolfe and and Jay lethal and the pope it's not you know and so I I don't see where strong is a good fit for teen at this point I. Think he'd be wasted I. Think I mean if he can earn a good living you should go for. It if that offers there but I I, don't think they know how to utilize them and I'm not even sure he's a perfect fit for. TNA. Even if they change their form a little bit, he's he's probably a better fit for what does he just strikes me as being a little too similar in to show the role. They have Douglas Williams playing right now in the exhibition not that they're clones by any means but I I just think Williams is is a great talker, but they've come up with the right gimmick for him and I mean he's kind of their Dean Milenko and and I just have a feeling that's how they would view roderick strong as well. Stephen what's up what else does that? What's on your? Something like I actually got a question that always kind of wondered for a while way back in the nice stark eight when it was the big match between a staying Hogan. I know that the finish fewer goes Kinda who? Brunhardt said that the rest of the fast count and referred the matter and everybody. that. Was Ending Kinda box like somebody messed up or is that just the very poor explanation of what they were trying to do? You remember that better than I do. You can you throw me again I was just getting a raw shop? I'm sorry. I WANNA know to. Go, even you can restate. Simpler this. The finish for the circe tonight seven with the Hogan staying match they Bernhardt apparently. Thought of the referees referee. Patrick's explained that Patrick did a fast count went Hogan Cambridge staying and bright said like I'm no one's GonNa get screwed again or whatever it was, and then he ended up to referee for earlier Max, ended up restarting the match and being wearing. But you know a company complain it wasn't the fast counter blah. So That finish. Like Boston. PISS poor explanation. My guess would be piss poor. Explanation. which goes right along with my piss poor memory. Yeah I I was while you're talking is trying to look up the torch from the torch coverage of that because you can read. If you're VIP member just go to the nineteen ninety seven back library. and you can read our coverage of it at the time. I. Don't remember it being a big story, but it won't be. It wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't a combination of both given how how screw everything was in in that era of of that was kind the turning point for things getting really screw in that era for for WCW. But I can't give you a solid answer but I can I can research a little see if my memory gets jogged or look at the the Chat Rambo here we go Bruce Mitchell. Here's what Mitchell says in the chat room there's.

"I'm fairly certain that all of us would if asked want all of our kids back in school in September look, we've done episodes, multiple episodes of this podcast about how necessary It's necessary for the sanity of parents necessary for mom and dad's productivity. It's necessary for the economy which can't return to normal until parents have normal childcare and what we've also done in those episodes while having those conversations is to make a pretty general assumption that kids need to be back in school in person as usual that it would be good for the kids good for their development and their futures and importantly. Good for their mental health. Today will ask what if that assumption is just wrong? What if there are things about returning kids to school in the middle of a pandemic that we are not taking into account? What if all the reasons that we do need schools to be open again? Don't matter if we can't do it safely. And what if the threat and the risk of covid nineteen just the threat and risk? Not necessarily the virus makes traditional school. The way we're used to it, and the way we want it to be when it comes back unsafe for the kids. What do we do then? Jordan through this is the big store. Tyler black is a suicide adjust emergency psychiatrist and pharmacologist abased in British Columbia road one of the more counter-intuitive twitter threads at least for me on the problem of sending kids back to school. Hello Dr Black. Hi, thanks so much for having me no problem Why don't you first of all just sort of set the groundwork for our discussion explain emergency psychiatry and how it applies to this situation we're in today. Sure. So so at my hospital, we have a unique program. Often child psychiatrists are on call for the Emergency Department or our units are used for both emergencies as well as long. Term Care But in my hospital, we've had e emergency unit specifically dedicated to psychiatric crisis in in children and and so for the past eleven years I've been the medical director of that unit we. Admit about four hundred children a year in NBC and the Yukon for psychiatric crises which would include suicidal thinking. suicide attempts severe conflicts in the family by poor disorder, schizophrenia anxiety, and lots of challenges with home and school But then we're also on call for the Emergency Department when we see another thousand to two thousand kids per year in in similar crises and and as this. Pandemic has developed. One of the reasons I wrote the twitter thread that's gone The that's gone out. There is because I've I've seen the nuance of my job being more busy during school months and school days prior to the pandemic So our admission rates increase the number of kids who come to the emergency department increase the number suicide attempts increase and definitely the number of suicide. completions increase for children during school days in school months, and so I've always just been frustrated to see the framing of the returned to school debate being about going to school being good for children's mental health and and staying home from school being bad for children's mental health because we actually haven't seen that reflected in the work that I've been doing. So what goes through your mind then? From that point of view that you just described when we discuss reopening schools and how to do it safely and what we need to consider while I think what we need to really look at is the tremendous variety in which children require education. Now, there isn't a lot of scientific support for individualized education plans for each child. But at the same time, we know that many children don't fit the square hole or the round hole at of of the educational model that sort of predominates and when we see more educational options for children especially when account for Mental Health Disorders Neuro diversity. And even just different ways that kids appreciate or want to learn. As certainly as we head adolescence, we start finding out what kids are more interested in and what they want to be doing If we have the flexibility of Assistant to account for all of those things, we run into less problems I can't overstate how often one of my jobs in the emergency department to call a school counselor and to ask forgiveness for lateness or not attendance or you know delete exam or even a different type of environment do the exam and as we add that flexibility to schools. Our kids do better. What does in person schooling do for kids both good and bad I'm just trying to to get a sense of what we are potentially missing if we do it virtually and also what the drawbacks are to putting all these kids back in school taking taking even a coveted the equation I. Certainly am a fan of schools generally, and education is crucially important for children. So I think there's a lot of good that schools provide schools I often use the analogy that school is like a child fulltime job. There's the work to be done. There's. The boss that assigns it There's the CO workers and classmates that are just proximal to you. They're not necessarily people you select just hanging around beside you there's the friends you develop within the work structure. Then there's the overtime work the stuff that you take home and with any with any child who's going to school the school itself becomes a full-time job, and of course, some of US love our jobs I particularly love my job I know many people do and some of us are profoundly stressed out by their jobs the job requires of the more. Than they can they can personally do were there are systemic barriers in the way or there's someone who's harassing you wore there's racism or sexism and and so we see in all of these environments it's possible to flourish in. It's also possible to not flourish and even worse it could be possible to be targeted bullying prior to the pandemic was one of the main concerns about in person schooling when we thought about children's mental health and that that nuance of the bullied child at school has completely evaporated as we have explorer returning to school in Covent. So there's pluses and minuses, and and really what I'm trying to do is just to interject that nuance that we may want to have an adoptive approach when it comes to the mental health of our Kent's when you say as you did earlier that you know individual learning plans could be one way to look at this and that we need to be more adaptive in terms of how. How we do school in general, even not in the middle of a pandemic How much of that? Are you seeing in the actual school reopening plans themselves because my sense of them has been like we just have to make it as safe as possible and if that means, you know the bare minimum than the bare minimums what we're GONNA do yeah. I think generally I've. Seen relatively good response in the on the Canadian side of return to school programs. Obviously our our southern neighbours in America just really seem to have a lot more of a black and white return school or not option though there are some districts that are doing very well, and I think in general you WanNa see that flexibility I think can British Columbia for example There are phases and as the pandemic spreads, the fees can change in schooling options when change but I also think.

"To just not be so to sneak out of the building. Never happened again and ask for a match or anything I just had this I. still have the mask somewhere. If you didn't come out to winger seventeen than you had a total missed opportunity. I. I? Remember. Funny enough at the music that I had selected for that particular time was a stick fist rule, which is an amazing song, but it's of like a four minute intro. So I had. No one could edit thing. This wasn't like now where it's digital and you can just slide where you want the song like they just have to let that part play, and then I would make my aunt. Meanwhile, realizing like will cares, no one knows who they're waiting for wider waiting so long or what these stupid boggled drums are, and then like. Oh, there's getty kid the masks. So! Your love of tool then comes into things. Obviously as your name evolves correct, that was once probably some friends of mine ripped me mercilessly about being stirling spice and I was completely obsessed with tool and. I've just. This throughout rock and roll, there was Ronnie James Dio. Sterling James Keenan. WHO DO REX! Rex from Panther another. There's a couple of people that had like James Middle Days sure identified it as like a very rock and roll like it sounded cool. Jesse James Do pre like I just thought it sounded really cool, so I was like well I'm just going to gang maynard's last name and middle neighb- tagging. It sounds pretty cool, right and. It stuck. It stuck for awhile. What did you have that? Oh Shit moment that I just had a match that I believe in myself even more now. Um and it's tough to pinpoint like a particular match or an event it. I started traveled a little bit I was getting bookings outside of Pittsburgh which ended up itself. I felt like a Rockstar I was like see. I'm better than everybody in Pittsburgh because I could booked in Cleveland like not really the case, but that's kind of where my mindset was. ABSO- that it just kind of snowballed, I started getting bookings. You know, go to Cleveland I sorta. Go to Philadelphia and the work C. W ARENA FOR Like three P W was called. Which is kind of? Try To pick up the slack where that let off and. Some of the bigger names independence and I do a few shots here and there with ring of honor and I was like others something here I can. I still wasn't making money? I mean I would get paid basically trans wherever you go, and it wasn't until I started I. Really I gotTa break out of nowhere to go to England, and once I did that. That was really when the ball rolling kind of took off well, the names of the guys that you've gone over on. PUNK AJ Styles D Lo Brown Raven all these guys. I think a lot of people. And we'll get some of the concussion stuff in that here in a little bit, but I think a lot of people. Know you because obviously you're with the wwe machine now and you're commentating one of the biggest shows in the world, but a lot of people don't realize that even back enough cw an annex t you were training with the best of the best are the best of the Best I've been around with everybody man. We have like a WHO's who actually talked to agents about it this week on on my podcast after the Bell Bob about just. Just how long I've known these guys how long so many of them have been a part of my life like Aj? Samoa Joe Samoa Joe came to my little brother's graduation party on a whim because we had a wrestling show that night I was like. Hey, my brothers having a party because they're going to be food. Yup, so we went just we punk used to come to my. My parent's house would watch pay per views like. So many of these guys that are still household names. They were contemporaries, and in later years it was kind of to that. Seth rollins generation where he was tyler black, and we were kind of rub a Lotta the same circles and shows and I was always kind of there with these big groups people I'd I never had the luxury of being like the hot indie name where I was like the Darling for for that period of time I had a few stints here and there where people go pretty cool, but I've never had that massive appeal on the independence. With everybody and I've been in the ring with everybody and trained and traveled and. Yes it. Is Kinda funny when I step back? I've realized now that even as long as I've been on WBZ. TV The majority of our audience, only be as the the loud mouth, big mouth, broadcaster right not realizing that I have credibility in that like I've been in the ring with most of these guys, you know what I mean. You've beaten most of these guys. I have well I've I was great about the creative control and. Not Letting anybody. Tarnish my good name. The name of Sterling. Spice nobody can tarnish. So over at FCW is actually we met I remember the day we met. I had. Steve Kernan Industy hadn't come over to do some stuff over. At FCW. Some stuff with Wyndham with Bryant, and with Bo and I think Damien Sandow I did a little run in with and I. Remember meeting you in the back really fast and then I was at a house show in Lakeland right and I walked by, and you're like Jesse cage alert over them like Corey graves. What's up dude and I think we exchanged numbers that night, and and and that was it, but it's just it's funny. I. Eat Oh. How not funny it's! It's cool. How intrical that FCW ANNEX! Evolution has turned into just as big as the big brand. Yet was twenty th I remember that exact same night. I was at the Lakeland Hal show because they would have a handful of. guys go to every like local Florida Market House show to the WB House show it just sign autographs and seventy percent of the crowd had no idea who we were. We were just this table. Set up the concourse like hey, here's my eight by ten and a great. Who are you again? What do you do? It was just an attempt to kind of familiarized our audience that next even existed. And actually I think I think it was an excellent. We started doing that. Maybe it was still FCW I right towards the end up W. Yeah, it's it's entirely possible. We were just out there. Trying to to let people know even existed, and now you look at the monster that is an xt full blown third brand. It's completely crazy. With I WANNA dance around the city I..

"Even though the wrestlers were great and they had some great stories back then when they started getting their hd net like Weekly television show is just like they lost tyler black. Who is now the Eh he fought Daniel Bryan for like One episode of Danielson Bryan Danielson American dragon chat out and then the stars sort of dissipated and it was so frustrating because they had already had their talent rosser totally rated by WWe which had notice. Everything went to the Nigel McGuinness. It's went to the TA and they had some interesting things. They did there at the time when Nigel McGuinness and the young box went and they change their names. And it's like wait who were Desmond Wolfe and generation me Yeah I didn't understand why they would change those guys names with when they built up great reputations and rustling people still with the young bucks joke joke all the time about generation me young bucks and this is sort of my heartache. I think the young bucks when people talk about the Pantheon everyone everyone does like these lists and it always seems just so weighted towards a pass because people get nostalgic and remember what the what things were like when they were growing up. I honestly think that young bucks are absolutely in the conversation grace tag team of all time. I agree with the work that they've done. Really I think to contemporary acts. Stick out its young bucks and new day because a new days really unlike any tag team. Well there's three guys in the temptation they haven't I like that. They've never sort of broken up and it's so easy to go that especially when Kofi goes on a singles around it so easy to do the played out sort of rockers storyline like I hope they keep them as a unit and happy. It's all power positively and I would really hate to see that disbanded but right up there with with the new day in terms of like match-quality the young bucks I think simply cannot be touched right now that is a major guys actually like market them as like a top line star which is so great to see with tag team wrestling. Like there's going to be a w cards were tag team and you've done it with dynamite but pay per views big time pay reviews were the tag team. Championship is a main yet. I mean some of the best matches we've had native of absolutely been the tag team matches and the young bucks and the loser. Brothers helped put the company on the map. You Watch that match The the The ladder match that they had any part of you is like I gotta worrying about protecting my investment here because there were are some bumps in there that were really mad took one that was just genuinely like is. He arrived at the table. Here it's going to be okay. Do you have conversations with this. I know you guys had a rather controversial storyline. With cody. Rhodes taking a chair shot. That wasn't as this story. Yeah the the idea of somebody taking a chair in wrestling. Isn't that shocking shocking. Talking now when you see like a a a chair being delivered to the head in American wrestling because wwe sort of there were a number of things about the execution of that that we're not the way it was supposed to be we don and now so i. I was pretty clear at the time I caught reduce pilot error. Because I thought we had come up with you know I didn't necessarily want anybody using it in the first place but if they were going to do it they were GonNa do it under certain guidelines and those guidelines were not followed. I understan- all that chair shots and sort of blood. That sort of reminds me of like at the E. W J's and there safer ways to do that. Yeah I was looking I WANNA be safer than he. Cw and that was supposed to be safer and that was It was not done the way it's supposed to be and it was addressed do you. You think that's something lacking not for the sake of doing it but I even had anything like that sense by the way since I that was our second show we'd ever done and it was before we started TV and it was. It was fighter fast and it was the second show done and you know I like I said it was addressed after that and I haven't anything like that. Since Moxley Omega had a very violent match you think there's a place for that sort of style when it comes to modern day wrestling storytelling on pay per view. I think there is You know for that. That kind of wrestling You know the hard core fans absolutely. I think there is as an audience for that and I wouldn't put a match like the Moxie Omega Lights out match on television but I think on pay per view the way it was done where we said like okay. Ah We're flipping the lights out and we're not responsible for what you see here. This is the end of the show and you know as far as the kids are concerned laughter. Cristiano versus cody. You can put him to bed. I really really liked that. You'd literally that's a cliche. Put the kids to bed. Match was actually quite funny. One more question for you because I know you gotta go here. I don't know it's What was come back? This is come on. I love to come back double or nothing. There seems as there's temple show in Chicago every year for the first couple years of your double or nothings in Vegas okay. I'm sorry. Yeah there was all out. Yeah there was all in and then it was all out it seems as though that's like the tentpole And then double or nothing came on the scene. Is that going to be like the sort of Wrestlemainia Wrestlemainia of all the double or nothing in Las Vegas. Is that the plan that we've got a big four right now that we were building around we've done set the the kid in you the wwe. Because when I was growing up survivor series royal rumble wrestlemainia Summer Slam. Sure I think there's you know if that helps you know I'm just no I A major the big. We've got the majors exactly the Grand Slam Golf and tennis. You got the big everything has four. I don't I think the end there's room for other are great shows too. I think these are four. We've established and we have other. You know I also I'd like to do you know fighter fast again and we've built up a big four though. Oh and it's you know double or nothing in Las Vegas Memorial Day weekend all out In the Chicago area which is Labor Day weekend. And then you you know in November. We've done full gear this past year. Which went great in Baltimore and I'm not sure as opposed to double or nothing being an all out where I really think those are going to stay around the Vegas in Chicago area? I'd like to go back to Baltimore for full gear. Believe not locked in a location for full gear. So that could that could be that could be a show that kind of moves around potentially but They've we had a great experience in Baltimore and then Also we've got a big show coming up that sold out minutes which were doing for the the first time in February twenty-ninth leap day in Chicago. It will be our next big pay per view revolution and that's going to have a huge huge huge card and it'll be the first time we've done revolution so who knows where that will fit in the hierarchy of this but I do think it's going to be huge. You'd show for US revolution. I'd like to be able to do it every year. But this is the first time we've done it let's Seattle goes it's in conjunction AC- too. It's pretty cool because I'm from Illinois. We've done all out and an episode of dynamite in the Schaumburg area area Hoffman estates the sears centre which is a suburb of Chicago and people are always like. Oh you've done to shows in Chicago we've never done a show in Chicago but revolution is is in Chicago at the wintrust arena. So we'll actually be debut in the city wrestling crowd on the way out here. I'd like to convince you to do a show at craven cottage. Just Mary. All the world's I would I'd love to do it. I've actually been to craven cottage with the box. Actually and we looked at it. and IT'S A it's a big venue and a big outdoor venue and when when we do our debut and show in England. I'm not sure the cause you'll be the first place you'd want. We'd go but it would be a great place to a wrestling any day. Any day I can spend at. The cottage is a good. It's such a classic venue and it'd be so called the C O wrestling show at the cottage. It'd be All Time I can't thank you enough for being so generous with your time. I know you gotta go. Hopefully occasionally when he got a big I shall we can get together and catch up and maybe talk about your product a little bit more because Fan of what you guys around this Wednesday she go to the show..

"And and then by the end of highschool. I was you know, back to be in feel didn't do any group sports. I still hated that stuff. But I, you know, I I I was much more comfortable around people and felt better about speaking in front of people are like making friends with strangers and stuff like that. It it seems to be recurring theme. And it's it's odd when you hear it. But when you actually stop and think about it, it's not because wrestling just draws all of us freaks or we're all little different or rawal wired a little differently, and I don't mean freaking derogatory way. But it it seems like it starts off where you have these very reserved kind of introverted shy people. And this seems to be the last thing that type of person would do. But for whatever reason, it is a recurring theme. And it also seems like wrestling helps pull these people myself included out of out of something and pulls a bit of them out of their shell. Did you find? That's what happened with you. Yeah. Under sent. I mean, it's it's it. I we took say we I mean myself, and my friend, my brother, we all do this rousing. We took this saying that. We all share together, and it helped us grow into like being comfortable and playing characters and like, you know, it doesn't when you're when you're onstage when you're a character on TV show or even just a local match or whatever you're not yourself for whatever period of time that is. And so you you that being that different person in front of a crowd like helps change who you are the person in regular life. You know, whether it gives you confidence or whether it gives you freedom, or, you know, you get the tear downs and some walls that have, you know, held your inhibitions in or whatever it is. You know, maybe you're just overcoming fears. But it just helps you become a I think fuller person when it comes to being, you know, regular Joe in life because now you're able to step into this character and become it. And then, you know, they sort of come together, you know, Koby sort of comes together with Seth rounds. Tyler black or whoever I was at the time. So, you know, it's sort of once they melt together, it just becomes this. You just become a different person altogether. It's pretty cool. So when how did you find they go ahead, sir? Well, I was just thinking in the flip side, and the possibly dangerous side is if if you lose yourself in that too because I've seen that and that that can be that can be the slippery slope on the other side of the hill that that is always a danger that you want to, you know, steer clear from because I think we've all seen that too. But back to your point. Jay sorry is at which point. Did you like this is something that you really wanted to go after it wasn't just you know, like I said if your brothers and your in your buddies at this hanging out and having fun and doing this. And you're like man, I really would like to do this for living for a career, and what did you seek out like proper training? Where did you go to do that? Yeah. I was probably about fifteen when I decided I actually like remember, I didn't even be younger shoot, maybe fourteen. I remember that the inner where I like was sitting with my parents, and my brother, and I was supposed to go to this like basketball camp over the summer between like eighth and ninth grade or whatever, and I remember telling my parents with tears in my eyes for some reason, a very emotional moment..

"Kill Tyler black enough. We're taught we'll be. Here's your evening. News story. Directors are idiots. It's cheap. It's a cheap thrill news story. It gets black people fired up because now they're convinced. There's a white guy shooting up the neighborhood. And it gets white people fired up because they go they come and get us about a Batten down the hatches by double checks their door locks and might be a race war. The threat the fear for race war is Powell. You can feel it in the air when it's when it's hyped up. You have to remember these things don't happen by accident. There are people who benefit financially professionally personally emotionally. From getting us to the precipice of the race war. Whether they actually want the race war or not depends on the person, some of them may not think that far ahead. But by creating the environment rife with fear. They increase their importance. Right. If a story emerges, the getting in the swimming pool is killing people. And that you have to shock your pool with the right chemicals and we've had sixteen people dead in the greater Houston area. "Because some of these guys have left a hole shoes that no one can fill who can fill the shoes of Brian Daniels. Right. You can't you just have to appreciate and respect. And accept the fact that he did what he did for this company while was here. And now he's elsewhere his legacy will live on in the foundation of this company. But the company isn't defined just by one person. It's a collective group of all of our hard work. So I'm not really worried it's cool to Sam the champion going into this. What feels like a new phase? But I'm not I'm not worried at all. I think if you look at look at the the the big names that have come into WWE over the years, if anything it goes to the point of ring of honor's ability to adapt and overcome and you look at like, you said, I mean, look at the names every name you just mentioned, including Nigel McGuinness like like, they're all there. But you go down the generations of ring of honor. And that's where everybody's coming from. You look at the guys that are main eventing annexed. He right now, and it's the Adam Cole's and Roger trunks, and as and Bobby fishes, you look at the guys that are just starting in annexed. He right now, and it's punishable Martinez in its right? You know? And so you you wouldn't have I mean Tyler black could made at wrestlemainia this year executive on. He's not own have generations men of talent coming out of any other promotion. It's unreal. Back in the day. When Kerry silken ran the company when him punk Bryan Danielson when Samoa Joe left. I if it were me, I would put okay guys, we're done. I'm sorry. Everybody else here. You guys are fantastic. But like, what am I supposed to do here? You know what I mean? Yeah. Oh, man. But carries saw that was a cool part about when carries here to nothing against sin. Claire we have is a great company but back in the day carry really saw what each wrestler Kadduh, and he put so much faith in each of us. It was such a cool niche thing to be a part of that motivation. Like when you go into a match like you're gonna have tonight with Cody. Yeah. Are you sitting there going, you know, clearly, I wanna have. Every match. I go into I want to have the best match I've ever had. But tonight with all the talk about what's Cody doing starting next month. You know, is this his last match in ring of honor isn't gonna show up and WWE is going to start his own promotion is going to do whatever is it. Do you feel like it's your job to go out there and not only have the best match that you could possibly have. But put out a performance that lets the audience know, regardless of what Cody does wearing good hands. I do I do. And you the crazy part is and I don't have the risk tape. And I'm not going to write the letters. But I always liked to think back because to me there's nothing like the legends that have helped build this company. Okay. So I always think back to like, man. So I'm in the main event with Cody this guy could be leaving soon. Which also means who knows how the crowd is going to be right reacting. Is it going to be a raw moment or are? They going to be Saudis gone, and my going to be looked down upon it because I'm the company guy. Right. And it's almost like, you know. He's against me. So I I like to think a lot of times what would Samoa Joe do in this position. What would AJ styles and Bryan Danielson do here? They'd fuck. They almost hit the f bomb there. They can go out there and do what they normally do. They knocked out of the park is business as usual. And that's what kind of keeps me centered and like you I'm gonna go out there and do what I always do way. More Jay lethal the combat. I want to.
