"We're back, everybody. Thank you so much for hanging with us on this magic 8 ball journey that we are going on. I feel like we're still breaking in this guy. The profit 8 ball, you know, I do have a better feeling about this profit than our prior profits. I feel like this one just a little more optimistic. You know, I think it was a little shy towards the beginning. Yeah. But now, you know, I feel the optimism. And I'm impressed. All right, I like that, because we're going into the Nintendo direct. So Nintendo is always putting on breaking my fucking heart. Well, that too. I was gonna say we can always expect them to have announcements to happen in June. Without fail, they don't let us down there. We get announcements from Nintendo. And this year is no different. I definitely expect robust showcase from them or Nintendo direct I should say. But are we going to get some of the big guns? I don't know. So we just had a Nintendo indie world showcase kind of highlighting what's coming out this summer. And later in the fall, but they didn't really focus on obviously any of their bigger titles, which is really what we want to know about. That's true. So where do you want to start with Nintendo Brit? I think where we should start is just briefly go over the current release schedule. So we all kind of have an idea of what the summer looks like for Nintendo. Sure. Okay, so in June, we have Mario strikers and fire emblem fire memorials. I think it's called three hopes technically. July, we have xenoblade chronicles three, September, we have splatoon three and November, even though it doesn't have a release date, it's going to be Pokémon. So Mario strikers, xenoblade chronicles, splatoon three and Pokémon. That's like our current lineup for the rest of the year. It's not good enough, Andrea. So we got to get some big guys up in this bitch. Breath of the wild, which is recently delayed. So we could actually start with breath of the wild too. So as I said, this was just delayed to spring 2023, not really a big surprise there. But we do have a question from Tyler Austin TV who wants to know if breath of the wild will be delayed again. We.

"People to see me And i kind of like ended up stopping. I think it tru-truly really just laziness where i ended up just being a thousand percent authentic to who i am and how i carry myself in in life business in everything whether it's a customer messaging in our support chat or it's like just a random person message me on facebook. They have all bit of authentic tyler. And what's happened is is this is crazy like a culture Around me and the people that ended up in involving themselves in my life and in in salaciously adopt the same thing where they're not like having a conversation in everybody's before they start speaking is thinking like well. What am i going to say. In order to make sure that that person is okay and We do the same thing on our first dates or second dates or whatever you know you always dress based off what you think that that person is going to let you in you know and and so if you just get rid of that and you focus on building culture andbranch truly authentic to yourself. What ends up happening is you can truly scale your company's in your businesses a ten x which you could any other way The cost of marketing goes down like in my business. I have while my real estate company has some but in my in my software company. I have zero customer acquisition costs and it's solely because of brand is because of me being authentic the how i am and that brings in a word of mouth and in authenticity that people don't get in other locations so If there's one thing that i can. I can give advice on when it comes to the business side and also in your personal life. That's a thousand percent authentic to yourself and and then focus Some sort of you know primary brand around that authenticity. Stamp it with something. And you're going to start building a culture and a brand that creates the ability for others to foster that same thing and they're going to scale in life which ultimately makes you scale in life. And i love how you started this whole thing off with the word belief because fire nation if you're transparent if you're honest if you're genuine your audience will believe in you. Now the question is do you believe in you. That is step one. And that's going. To emanate well out with everything that you do and let me tell you fire nation. You should believe in you. Because what's the alternative like absolutely believe in you. Now we've dropped lots of value bombs over this episode. Give us the one value. Mom you really wanna make sure fire. "And i want you to talk next about turning work into passion projects which is kind of interesting because now we're talking about work that you're doing does actually making money. But how do you actually take those and make something that you can become passionate about. And of course want to be focusing on net profits. The hallway through is otherwise. What are we really doing everything that i've looked into on scaling myself as always lead back to okay growing businesses in philanthropy. Right one of the really cool ways that you can actually take those passions right instead of instead of taking a passion and putting into work but but being able to do a passion that also still feels you and in allows you to keep more net profits in your life. Is you know. Obviously figuring out ways to handle the tax man number one But how does he play a part in this whole equation and that would be like nonprofits right so as you sir growing connecting with other people of of money enough business. What what happens is you. Un fund and other individuals who are also working towards the same goals that you are so for me in that case. It is in In essentially online trafficking of people kids whatever it is and so Last year i had started a nonprofit focused on the The topic of trying to combat and create softwares in order to help prevent and detect you know on trafficking. And what's beautiful about. It is because of the fact that not only. Is it something that. I'm super super passionate about but It enables me then to be able to fuel into that organization revenue right and that revenue essentially becomes right back to me and of course. Obviously i'm not a tax consultant. Nothing like that. However it does enable me to keep more net profits from my primary business entities Because of the fact that i have this passion project that i do And i'm you know it enables me to really focus on it in a way. That's if then if i was to just you know I don't know just you know. Give another project check if you will So that's that's the way that i've done it and i thought it would be an interesting way to share. In case some people have never heard about it they can reach out to somebody to look into their lives and it is important fire nation to have this kind of knowledge in your bank to have these kind of arrows in your quiver so you do know that there are more than just one way to go at a project who what a passion to at life. And that's what i want to talk about next. Is you know on the show. I'll be honest like we focus a lot about scaling your business which is important on a lot of levels but you're actually about scaling all life. What do you mean by that. We all look at our key. Performance indicators radar. kpi's our businesses. We look at our. Kpi's and you know our fitness. And i don't think very many people actually truly focus on like the overarching like the holistic..

"But i think it's extremely powerful in the real estate industry because of the fact that not only is it a breakout tool meaning that you can make large sums of money in one transaction. But it's also the major storage of wealth. You know once you start earning a lot of active. It's where you end up going back to to try to take that active income from you know that your savings account and put it into an asset. So if you it's kind of like a double edged sword or it's like a in a good way Where you you truly get to learn a skill set that is going to be Not only that thing that puts money into your life but also allows you to then store that that money in the future for me. The reason why. I chose real estate as i was getting out is because well you know i had already bought a house right. I i knew how to do that. At least and most people understand the concepts of uk. We're going to buy a house in this that and the other but where people don't think about is is is the fact that you don't need money to do it right you. You don't need like thousands and tens of thousands or even a dime to do a real estate transaction because there's a lot of different ways that you can assist in that transaction to reap the benefits of the of the financials On that hud statement so For me real estate really. Truly a thousand percent was the ability to get myself out of the whole. I was in through efforts. It's one of the only industries that you can work your butt off and You know get a few deals on your bell and those deals gonna some to be in my case in my first quarter was two hundred and fifty grand and and i mean. That was huge for me right. I mean i paid off the six thousand dollars. Debt hat i. I put money in my savings account. I mean it really jump started my to be able to focus on the business and and from there you could just take that set that you've learned and you can just continue to improve upon it and and make active income from from real estate and then now start doing some other business ventures in fire nation. That is the one very interesting thing about real sita's because it is a low barrier of entry. It can be something that you can test without having to go to graduate school for four years and get hundreds of thousands of dollars in debts before you're like..

"Up to fire nation and sure something that you believe about becoming successful that most people disagree with john. Thank you from you on. What's going on fire nation and man. I took me a while to think about this question. And when i came up with is essentially that a lot of people determine success as a dollar value. Were i determined to say success as a mental state mental states and i really do believe fire nation that we'd thinking about success and happiness and just everything that you're doing in this world. Think about it as how are you feeling in this moment and when you waking up every morning look in the mirror asking yourself like am i doing what i feel like my purposes and doing what i feel like i meant to be doing every single day. And you're saying yes more often than not. It's not having to be every day because there's going to be off days then. You're winning the game. So tyler as i teased to fire nation before we jumped on here i. I'm looking forward to chatting with a fellow veteran year from the air force. I want to talk about how you went from. Twenty seven thousand dollars a year to multi seven figure companies in just three years. So i love the story. And i want to hear about motivation because we do hear that word a lot brother so i want you to break it down for us. How can we fire nation. Find our true self motivation. Sadly something has to happen in your life where you get into a state where you have to kind of dig in deep and find it but hopefully i can give a couple ways that you can shortcut the path to it and the very first thing See what happened to me. As i i was getting out and then i turned out that i had a baby on the way and i ended up no longer being the breadwinner in my family and so mentally and physically like i started going down a really bad place in twenty fifteen and so I end up having this moment. Where i had on the phone with my dad and i ended up essentially having the first moment that my dad ever seen me cry or heard me and i just broke down on the phone in later that night i was sitting there and i was like doing like what am i going to do like what. What is it that. I'm even like meant to do. Is like the only thing. I know how to do is build bombs for a living. That's not really useful outside the military and so What i realized is that I was trying to live life. Based off the lenses through someone else's eyes and so i sat down and i did a self reflection of myself at a self reflection of the reason why i wanted success and i realized that the only reason i wanted it was for me and up until that point i was saying that i wanted it because i need it for my family. I wanted i needed. Because i need my family to to have the the by products of my success in in all reality. That's not true..

"The seven five. Oh i am your. Or joe he is your seven five two times superbowl champion college football hall of famer and somebody who's gonna learn a thing or two about real college wants. Oklahoma joins the sec. With tony casillas. What up yeah you to. You're going to learn a little bit. More about texas being in the sec. Little brother a may add. But everything's good Probably not quite as rested at some of the players are going to be in a national football league. Considering i just found this out seems like. I always find something outright before we start doing our show in the morning that i didn't realize that the players had three days off this week. Don't practice until thursday. It'd be the cowboys because a new collective bargaining agreement. So you're gonna have a lot of. Nfl teams well rested especially those skill position players. That hasn't really gotten a lot of reps in this. Preseason they're gonna be rested for next week against tampa bay so yeah. Now that's a really exciting sentence just because you know next week ago. They need rest well come on. Let's let's go. let's get ready. Let's see we got to empty their arsenal. next week. we we are down to single digits. Tony there nine days between now and two thousand dallas cowboys. Season opener So everybody knows this is going to be a quicker version of the seven five. Oh to be frank. This is a an aqua data recorded. Podcast because if tony and i started talking about something There are a lot of players who are being cut left and right in fact at the time of our recording. Just everybody knows it's about almost eight thirty. Am central time on tuesday august. I there they'd been about five. Dallas cowboys cuts already. But a notable one. Tony have you. Have you ever seen breaking your watch that show. That's yeah it's it's attic while this is the perfect way to start. You know after walter. Wipe defeats gus. Fring the chicken. Yeah and know. Remember all the police are at his house with his wife and his son and his brother-in-law the da age sister-in-law and his wife calls him and she's like what's going on. You know all the cops whatever and. He's all bandaged. Ebony says i won. You remember that part. Okay i need to go back and watch announce you mentioned breaking bad to watch it again right. So that's cooper rush today he he's calling everybody saying i won because no surprise tony The cowboys did wave bend. Nucci long live the mean but everybody knew this was coming but they did release garrett gilbert so For the brief time. We're going to hang out here this. Let's just kind of address this. I mean there's not a lot of you know all due respect all these people. The cowbys cut stephen parker. Also tyler austin fail lou The defensive tackles and not really notable players right now. But it is notable that they are seemingly tony. Committing to cooper rush As the primary quarterback behind prescott the twelfth most important starters people like to say on offense your thoughts. I'm cooper rush in the job because it could change. Yeah i think so right now. I think the good went for kupa rush. Who is Is kind of waited out really taken his opportunity to seize the moment in prove that he is a viable backup. So you gotta respect that But again a lot of things can happen. I mean this is You know when the hammer drops so to speak today A excuse me three years the roster is gonna be cut down to fifty three by three o'clock central standard time day eastern time. Whatever it may be so a lot of things we met decision will be made but I think that you know garrett. Gilbert certainly been initiated. Not really make a case for themselves as poorly as i played and cooper rush took advantage of what he is reps on the field and also lane. That's what really want him. The so-called backup job right now so as we're recording. Everybody knows this is how the sausage is made. The cowboys are waving defensive. End rondell carter Also a you know J m you product along with bend nucci And we have a tracker going applauding. The boys dot com. So if anybody wants to open that up on the day we'll get this published right away If you're listening to this by the way everyone really needs to know that you are the face of blogging voice. So that's why you need to be. Intertwined plugged in on all these different movements made during the course of the day. I just gotta give you props because you're always all over along with everyone else on the staff of blogging. The boys county. I'm sits under small contributed to the stent tacit platform. That we have here. County is way too kind But we do have this this tracker going and so it's literally one article and it will constantly be updated throughout the day and we'll let you know all the people that the dallas cowboys have cut. We will also tony. You mentioned kind of everything we're doing. We have a live show that we are running on the block on the boys youtube channel later on today on tuesday starting at two. Pm central time in case. Anybody wants to check that out. We'll talk about the cuts. The cowboys have made what they're making in the final hour with the final fifty three men roster ultimately looks like But back to the cooper rush creek over thing. I don't wanna be chicken little. This guy's faller. Okay so let me be clear about that. But i have some thoughts on this. It is owned by the way the cowboys have just now released dairy thompson the veterans safety so and todd archer notes. He could be back soon at least on practice squad and get called up for week one if he doesn't go elsewhere. That's the thing tony and you know this. The the way the rosser put together teams will cut guys who they feel like won't get picked up by other teams so that they can carry certain players. That's the way that they also it's a. It's a tough business. And so but you know. I don't want to forget about my cooper rush point..

"They have done done that so far. This weekend's the twins we'll see moving forward. You know what happens in oakland. Because that's the the lineup oakwood will be very very very important and i think judge is going to have to play a ton in the outfield same stanton because they gotta get look for it in his life. You cannot have luke on the bench just cannot happen yeah i. Did you see the craft of thursday lineup was voight resolve drug gallo stanton. It was like whatever the goal line package comparing them to the nfl. Equivalence or henry. Hunter may be. I forget who else was in it. But it's like just what a and there are times where you know. Maybe that's not the best to have just five holding men like data all very similar where i could probably could be better to have a little more. But nice when they're not all righty. I'll say i was gonna say gallo being left. These does help that. But it is. Just i mean i know we say this all the time but truly thing. He's ever got a brawl. It would just be game over people die. People would legitimate. They were like nebraska would happened for like a second and then people start remind himself like no like look. Look no you look at those people. Maybe that's why they haven't had overall. Here's teamster yeah people just like fuck that Yeah i what have had ever had like a big brawl close. This thing would be something with the raise. They've had over the years repertoire. They haven't had like the bench is even clear that much. I can't imagine. I think the last time that's probably happened. Is that gary sanchez tigers thing. Yeah that's what. I was thinking komo. Where was a true brawl. Guess with tyler austin after that with the red sox yeah think i was before but not positive sagoes. Those are like the last two that come to mind. Yeah the raises a lot of shouting back and forth to chapman thing where he was leaving and right and but like nothing ever came down for he brawl soon. Yeah i mean yeah whatever whatever keeps the guys you know more and more jell together. I'm for it let's see what else Guess kobe to slow the last year. It was literally. I mean it's never allowed. It was incredibly strict rules against walls last year. Right right yeah they will. Yeah because the whole there was that whole laureano thing with astros. And they're like that's a bad idea. Don't don't do that Angel does he had a interesting interesting weekend. So was it. Friday with the homerun which calls from that was friday right. No that was a thursday. So giancarlo hits his home on his laser homerun to make it seven four a nice little tack on run because it did get a little interesting the night that in some five The solar shop. It's up seven. Four is a line drive. It goes into the hands and it goes right off the top of the kid's head. I don't know how can was okay. But for some reason he didn't get the ball. I feel like a kid takes a stand in line drive home or off the dome you gotta go get him. The ball like what asshole didn't give him the ball. What are you doing Put it's big enough asshole. Move to a home run ball knocked over your kid but when you catch it when it literally went off of the kids dome and you don't give it to him. That's a whole other level. And i'm talking clear as day off back campbell. Wanted to give it jobs. Oh maybe he's the one that's the only explanation here I hate that guy. Oh so in between half innings go into the top of the ninth angel hernandez takes a stroll out to right field any just pulls out a ball in throws it to the kid and all age is getting a standing ovation his one shining moment. I don't know if you got a text from his agent in between innings like. Hey this is our chance. Till i get you back in the graces that everybody. You're gonna forget all the bad calls you've made recently I can't help you with the future bad calls but we can. We can get some good juju here. An angel martinez was in europe and he went viral. And it was awesome omega free angel. He didn't have. I don't think he really good game on saturday. And there's all rubino door thing where he door calls time mid pitch and it was granted that is really crazy thing. Maybe i've ever seen the baseball field. It was insane. It was for door. Call time get his hand back on the bat and then blasts Homerun i i never seen anything like that. It also sucked that. We couldn't even get too because it was adore her. Call time out. But i mean it is ridiculous that was granted to him when crazy in a weird way it should have been the pitcher who got more mad where it was like. How how are you gonna grow. Grant him that or on literally in motion for obviously wants a homerun. He's like oh. Thank you for letting me grant for graduate right. That was into angel. Has the bar is on the floor of below the floor and learn is just walked straight. Should clear the barbeques stations have so to do little. It's kind of funny that like. I wonder if there was any part of.

"New piece of a new artifacts comes in or how is it. Decided that a new artifacts that you're gonna go out and sort of seek out new artifact because one of the things that you sent me that you have is aaron judge's bat from his first big league homerun in two thousand sixteen and i was actually in center field. I was standing at the mohegan sun. Sports bar yup. I was standing at the mohegan sun. Sports bar when he hit that home run. It was like a hundred five degrees at that game. Everyone was miserable there. But we're all excited to watch. Aaron judge this six-foot-seven freak that we'd really never seen a baseball field before they hit a home. Run his first pitch. It came right after. I came right after the tyler austin home run in his first at bat so they went back to back. So when did you acquire that bat. And why did you acquire that bat. Was it later when when after aaron judge his rookie season happened and he so it was right away. How is that decision right away right away and we and we decided that because that was an let's credit records again. That was the very first time in baseball history that two teammates had gone back to back home runs for their in their first career at bats Okay how about that. Yeah so so and there you go again you you mentioned you go to the ballpark. You see something that you never. I saw something that. I never thought i would see. That had never happened before. I saw something that dan. And you're telling me i didn't realize maybe i knew it at the time and i just forgot but i. I didn't realize that was the first time that ever happened in baseball history. Yeah we're not just for the yankees that not just you know The american league. This is the first time and that it had happened in baseball. History major league baseball history. So that's And so when. I'll be honest so i stood on on the team with with guys and we we throughout the year At the beginning of the season and then monthly through during the season say okay who's approaching a milestone. Who who's doing well this year. Who's reaching record who is Looking like they may set a rookie record That kind of thing So we you were constantly the beginning of the season. We say who you know who among our stalwarts is going to be doing something this year that you know that will be demonstrating how great they are. Miguel cabrera five hundred home runs And it's like and so then. We begin to start of the season communication skies in touch with all thirty teams and says. Hey here's something. I want to tee up. It's like here's something that's going to happen when that happens. We're going to be in touch it. We're going to be in touch before then but but we're going to be looking for in the case of somebody getting one hundred dollars for a bat or a helmet or a jersey Something that is That is hitter ish Related and so the you know we know what's what's coming up but then you gotta be nimble and So when some when something happens that is well first of all when something happens that you know is going to happen but you have no idea where. Or when and that's a no hitter for a guy hitting four home runs in a game. 'cause like whenever that happens. We have a standard package. We reach out to the to the communications guys and say hey we'd like to get xyz But then sometimes something happens in. It's just the first time ever and we'll just we'll We'll get on You know Text with one another And go hey. What do you think this sound like something that we want to get. And so we'll reach out the bare wrote the very next day To the communication skies in You know in this case with the yankees and say hey. This is the first time that ever happened. could we get Aaron in tyler's backs and the the yankees Being great guys that are said yes. We'll do that. That was begging twenty sixteen. So that's for so that's how we got that and if you were to ever sort of like peel back the onion on that weekend. I'm sure you know this but the night before is was alex rodriguez his last game. You know. I probably knew that at one time too and i had forgotten that that right. No kidding yup. So they will ballots route they. Did alex rodriguez sort of farewell ceremony on that friday night. And then okay. He retired opened up a roster spot for aaron. Judge is like how about that. I know it's crazy isn't it. I didn't i didn't realize that That that that was That that aaron judge took outrageous roster spot. yeah. I mean he. He was one of them. Because they obviously also called up tyler austin so they made a couple of roster moves but you know for all intents and purposes. He hates. He passed the baton. And yeah so. They were never actually officially teammates in the same dugout together about that. That that sort of like When commun- lasorda was with a pitcher for the for the brooklyn dodgers and And they A fella named sandy colfax got better And that was why Tommy lasorda had been on the team and so they sent me back down to the minors and And brought up Sandy colfax so. Oh wow it's great stuff when you find out about all these kinds of transactions and the inside baseball things can be boring sometimes. Sometimes they're just they're just rich. Yeah yeah for sure. Well i definitely appreciate you joining me and for everyone listening. If you've not checked out the youtube series hall of fame connections it's John sits down sat down with carlos. Opinion lindsey barra and carlos. Lindsey hosts a lot of the episodes. Really great stuff really interesting. It's also really cool. Aesthetic like the set that you guys are on. Cy young award winner as a member of the cincinnati reds joined the dodgers this past season with a record setting one hundred two million dollar contract in february that concludes to opt out. Clauses includes those to opt out clauses. So i just kind of. I didn't really wanna talk too much. About trevor bauer. But i did want to. At least i did want to at least talk a little bit about it. Just because we haven't talked about it very much on the show. And i think it's important to at least at least go through what is what has been happening With with the. Trevor bauer thing. As uncomfortable as a conversation is still very important. Conversation to have. As as well as i mean. It's it's something that we need to at least keep an eye on Not for me to give any opinions but at least if you come here to find out more information about baseball and what's going on in major league baseball i think it's important for me to at least keep you guys updated the us by the way they lost the gold medal game. Unfortunately for the united states but japan got its gold medal and the nation of the olympics captured. Its first ever olympic gold medal in baseball with a to nothing victory over team. Usa on saturday and it was kind of a. It's kind of a cool moment. Especially because they're the reason that got brought back in the first place a solo home run in the third inning from mika marzuki. Mmi and end and an insurance run in the eighth inning was all the support that japan's quintuplet of pitchers excuse me when net of pitchers needed for this shutout saturday's game march the ninth olympic meeting between these tube now baseball rabid countries in japan leads the series now. Five to four after scoring two wins over team. Usa during the tournament. Tyler austin team. Usa l. fielder said quote. We gave it everything we had every single day practice and during the games. It's unfortunate that we didn't come out on top tonight but that's part of the game and the is he also led the team with ten hits the whole tournament. The americans mounted several ski scoring threats during the middle innings but couldn't break through and team. Usa left chew runners on the fifth and sixth innings in the seventh number. Thr- number three as prospect. Nick allen doubled into left center. The left centerfield gap actually and moved over to third with two outs. But any alvarez who grounded out with men on first and second in the fifth at harmless chopper to strand allen alvarez expressed his frustration by slamming down his helmet onto the turf and alvarez said quote. I'm going to need a little bit more time for this to settle down. It's going to be a. It's going to be a little bit of a tough pill to swallow. We had one goal. Japan came out on top with the silver medal. Alvarez a marlins minor leaguer who served as a flagbearer for the team. Usa during the olympic opening ceremony the becomes the sixth person and the third american to win a medal in both the winter and summer olympics at the sochi olympics. In two thousand fourteen alvarez won a silver medal as part as the as part of the united states. Men's fifteen hundred meter relay short-term skirt short tracks geese speaky which is actually awesome. I didn't know that that's that's fantastic. I think we're going to if we have any more time at the end of today's episode. We will do a little bit more talking about alvarez because that is something that is really amazing if not we will definitely talk about him next episode. Because i got. I got to find out more about him now. And would that be said. We'll end this segment a little bit short and we'll talk about one of the greatest japanese players of all time if not the greatest japanese player of all time and that is ichiro. "And david robertson completed the five hit one run affair against the dominican republic so japan and korea were then facing off where japan won by a score of five to two so japan has yet to lose a game here at the olympics in this basically sent korea to face off against the usa so the usa defeated the dominican republic. They were gonna face the loser of the korea. Japan game ultimately being korea and then. The usa won by a score over korea seven to two so. The usa advances to the gold medal game by defeating korea. Seven to two with a five run bottom half of the sixth inning. Being the difference the score was two to one heading to the bottom of the sixth and the usa had themselves a big inning once again on the mound joe ryan for the usa four and a third allowing only one run Rider ryan one and two third scoreless. Scott mcgauchie one third of three hits one run anthony ghosts and anthony carter combined to finish off that score by a final of seven to two so once again. We have the bronze-medal game tomorrow. Friday friday evening between the dominican republic in korea and then the gold medal match up between the usa in japan. Taking place saturday morning so. The usa made it difficult on themselves by blowing. That lead. japan but bounceback victories over the dominican republic as well as south korea puts them right in the gold medal match up in a rematch against japan. Where the winner will take goal. So who's been performing for team usa when it comes to the offensive side of things. Tyler austin is the big winner for the usa. He's sitting four twenty nine. He is nine for twenty one with two home runs. Three doubles seven. Rbi's so he's doing a bit of everything for team usa and you also have a tristen casas. He's only hitting to sixty three but he has three home runs in a double as he has five for nineteen and he's the team leader with eight. Rb is so out of the twenty eight. Rbi's eight of them for casas. Seven for tyler. Austin are the two big names offensively. How are some of the other guys doing some names. you may recognize. Well todd frazier. He's struggling a bit. He is only three for seventeen in the tournament. he does have two doubles. He sit in one seventy six. You have bubba starling hidden to eighty six eddie alvarez to fifty eric phileas two fifty mark close vary hitting to thirty five jamie westbrook to twenty two jack lopez one eighty two in nick allen hitting one seventy six offensively so us as a team hitting two forty seven with a four thirty four. Slugging percentage and tyler austin and tristen casas doing a lot of the heavy lifting for the team. Usa when it comes to on the mount how we doing out the pitching staff going on here. Well you got some good and some not so good but overall the pitching has been fantastic for team usa anthony. Ghosts has yet to lower yet to allow a run in four appearances over five and a third innings edwin. Jackson has made two appearances. He's allowed one unearned run. It was the extra inning run against japan for zero point. Zero zero. era are though he was saddled with the only loss for team usa. You have scott kasmir again. Who made the one start five scoreless innings in fantastic outing for scott kasmir ryan writer. Who has one no. With three appearances in four innings. He's been excellent out of the bullpen. You have joe ryan. Who started two games for team usa. He's gone ten and a third innings allowing two runs on nine hits so he is one no with a one seven four. Era the other starter. Nick martinez he went five innings allowing one run for a one eight zero era. So the starting pitching for the. Us has fantastic. You had casimir. Go five scoreless. Nick martinez five only allowing one run. And then joe ryan started the other two games allowing two runs over the course of ten minutes now on the top end of the bullpen. Some of the bullpen is struggle david robertson. He's allowed two runs in three innings for a six era. You have shane by as allowing two runs into an two thirds for a six seven. Five and anthony carter to runs in and a third innings for seven seven one. Era but the team era for team usa over the course of forty five and one third innings is two point one eight so the pitching has really been the carrier for the usa. Say they've been excellent and just only allowing eleven runs over the course of forty five innings forty six strikeouts to only twelve walks as a staff again. Joe ryan he's been fantastic eight strikeouts only one walk so the starters there now. I don't know who lines up to start the gold medal game. If it's joe ryan i assume it will be if not. It's certainly looks like nick. Martinez would be next on the line. Or scott casimir would be the two guys potentially pegged to start so looking at some of the other lineups. Let's look at the dominican republic. No they had a few ex major leaguers on their squad. So let's look at how they've been performing so far this year or this tournament for the olympics. You have jose batista. He's hitting one forty three. He is only two for fourteen with one double in one in three total basis. So he's been struggling for the dominican republic. You have milio bonifazio. Only hit in one fifty four as he is too for thirteen on the tournament. So the dominican republic as a team only hidden their offense as certainly let them down even though they're playing for the bronze-medal on the pitching side of things again. They've gotten some good outings. A couple of starts angel sanchez. On hill sanchez scoreless over five innings rove vow dez. One run over five and a third and then you have danielle radius. Who's giving up two runs over four and two thirds innings as well from the starting pitching side of things so a team. Era of three five six for the dominican republic looking at israel who's been standing out for israel as they overachieved by winning a game earlier in the tournament. Shoutout to mitch glasser. He went seven of seventeen hidden. Four twelve as well as ryan lavarnway hitting three fifty seven for twenty during the tournament. Here so a nice tournament for them and then looking at japan's roster as we face off against japan in the gold medal game who are some of the names to watch out for. You have takia kyw. Hit and five hundred. He's five for ten high jato sakamoto hitting three eighty nine seven for eighteen.

usa south korea japan joe ryan dominican republic Tyler austin tristen casas david robertson Nick martinez Rider ryan Scott mcgauchie anthony carter todd frazier Rbi bubba starling eddie alvarez eric phileas jamie westbrook jack lopez

"Tweets already. Buster bleacher tweets four wednesday and want to bring up team. Usa baseball before we get into the tweets here team usa. They defeated the dominican republic. Three one last night. They'll face the loser of japan. South korea for a shot at the gold medal. That game's going on right now. They're currently tied to rerecord this about eight thirty. Am eastern on a wednesday morning. Gotta say could not legitimately find the baseball game last night. I feel like. I'm very savvy when it comes to like cruising through channels and in finding things but nbc has been a little bit of a disaster in terms of like showing you when and how you could watch anything. It took me about thirty minutes to find it. It was eventually had really had to find that. I had to pull it up on the website. Someone tweeted at me and said like where it was but it wasn't on. Cnbc wasn't on nbc. Wasn't on usa wasn't on the frigging olympics channel wasn't on nbc sports network. Like it wasn't anywhere. I guess it was just on the website and then finally came on Cnbc at about midnight. I think that point was we're in the fifth inning team. Usa dodgers astros anyway. Yeah yeah. I mean there was other stuff on but it was. It was a bit of a pain. Because i consider myself a pro navigating those waters so We did get the window. Tristen casas again to run bomb in the first inning. Tyler austin went yard in his home ballpark. He plays for the yokohama. Bay stars in the mp so that was pretty cool scott casimir. He threw five scoreless innings. Dominicans only run came in the bottom of the ninth two out so the americans continue on gold still in play. As i said they're gonna play the loser of japan south korea and then if they win that they'll get a shot in the gold medal game against the winner of that match if they lose. They'll play the dominican republic again for the bronze-medal so Still some more baseball head for team. Usa very exciting Any any thoughts or feelings about this team right now buster. I know it's it's way passer bedtime when these games are on. Yeah you know. Happy scott casimir coming back making the effort of pitch this year. Getting the cup of coffee with the san francisco giants and now depends on the olympics. And when he's sitting on his twenty years maybe the gold medal round his chest..

I don't know but not playing golf with all his buddies having a good time. Drink akasa migos tequila and Laughing it up. But we've got live olympic baseball on today between the us. Japan and i'm seeing tanaka pitches a masahiro monday. It is and also i believe he's playing professionally in japan. Now so i guess. The professional baseball players in japan participate in the olympics. And of course ours don't because the season is going on and i would imagine that japan with the olympics being in tokyo and how big of a deal baseball is in japan. This is a big deal for them. And could you imagine if there were fans allowed. I know who play what an atmosphere that would be craziness you got the nba players playing. Obviously because the season's over some of them at least in hockey they shut down the league to be able to have the players participating olympics but with us in baseball. It's like no way absolutely not are shut down baseball for a couple of weeks. The zone our players to the olympics to compete. So we'll keep an eye on that for the people that care but we don't care. Americans don't care about olympic baseball. We know there's a couple of things that i find interesting olympic baseball. I don't feel like anybody cares. No olympic golf. No tennis zander's shaw one. I believe the goldman. It's just. I don't know it doesn't seem to fit because we've got so many great events going on here right now and in london of course in scotland and places like that so to me. Whatever but this women's soccer i think they're playing this morning. Okay so that's another big on great question. They're playing canada right. We gotta pay attention to that. So i think so but swimming's at big deal track and field because those are sports that you're not really familiar with are you know they're not they're not high paying sports or at least i didn't know mike. Social is the manager of team. Usa no idea. Yeah tyler austin as well. Who's up at that. Former yankee tyler austin fleet you think that the women lost the soccer women day just was one nothing to can. Oh wow so. They're done now right that it. I can't follow this k. County's mental health task force task force was addition of people. Turn back campaign actually way before this working community in his law enforcement experience and that is that the task force units of highly trained officers. That will be that to be interventionists in the community and by that we mean there will be there to be called out in encounters with peace officers when those encounters involving known or suspected mentally ill person in crisis and so the the the main purpose of that is to stem this migration of mentally ill to jails. We've had that going on for at least the last thirty years. Plus the jobs have become largest mental institutions. And that's upside down. It should not be this. Many things happen out there. Where was the property invention with properly trained individual officers lincoln. We can change that. So we wanna stand in towards treatment rather than jail. That's the vision of sheriff's division of this unit. And that's what we intend to do. Are you guys going out as a task force only on calls or is there a way for the community to contact you when they need help now. We will function to aid in law enforcement encounters receipt as expanding to something much. Larger also is part of this of this process will be to combat stigma. It won't be just encounters where the rubber meets the road. We'd see as a very important part of this process going out into the community To any that will listen to help us. Fight simba and we'll do that through organizations of the treatment facilities stakeholders. We've been contacted by various civic organizations. It will go out. Without split on the stigma that has been a callous for this migration of the meal to jails and we can fight that statement in the public sector and all levels whether it be schools organizations or even police agencies than we will make a big difference on that funds. Well can you tell me about some of the training that the officers are getting quite intense. We're with of course trying to abnormal psychology recognition of mental illness that will include recognition of psychosis and mood disorders Folks in christ suicide prevention will be part of the train. We have corporal smith and the woman who is leading up the task. Force lieutenant maldonado now. How did you ladies become involved with the task force. And i knew this was something that he really wanted to I had left the sheriff's department with the school police long a few years. However i had been here for ten years prior After hearing that he wanted to do something like a mental task force.
