"News. Out of the top stories that we're working on at WTO P, two teens were shot and over the hospital after a large fight broke out in Baltimore amid hundreds of youths in the inner harbor area last night. A D.C. man is behind bars after he's been accused of sexual abuse of two minors, and the IMF World Bank meetings this week will bring numerous road closures to the D.C. area. Keep it here on WTO P and WTO P dot com for full details on these stories in the minutes ahead. Traffic and weather on the a tears Carlos in the WTO traffic center. Thanks, Dan. If you are headed in D.C., it's relatively quiet drive along the southeast Southwest freeway third street tunnel and New York avenue. That's great. D.C. two 95 also running smoothly, no worries in either direction there. If you're headed in Maryland, northbound two 70 has that accident seen as you make way towards Gaithersburg. It's going to be on your approach towards the ICC, Maryland 200, according to the listeners, that is in the local lanes. Sounds like it is blocking exactly one lane with minimal delays, so just be careful as you make your way towards the ICC. Southbound side of G 70 looks good. I 95 Baltimore Washington Parkway, I'll look to speed and no worries on 50. Beltway traffic in its entirety is amazing. Everything is running smoothly at speed, no delays, no accident scenes, no work zones to be found so far. This early Monday morning. If you're head in Virginia, if you're in Virginia, 66 looks great, didn't see any work zones throughout the overnight hours into this early morning, so you're good there, headed towards the beltway. No delays inside the beltway from route 7 over towards the Rosalind tunnel. If you're headed on I 95, there was an accident scene a little while ago, but that's long gone. Between Fredericksburg, Stafford, woodbridge, all the way to Springfield. There's not a single thing to be found. Other than cars actually driving at speed. Three 95 looks great from edsel road to the 14th street bridge, and it looks like the GW Parkway is running a little slowly here on the southbound side is just after gravelly point on your approach towards Ronald Reagan airport towards Reagan airport there. Teens Attempting Carjacking Thwarted by Stick Shift

"I found this the other day, it was a hot, it was a headline, and I actually took a picture of it and I sent it to you in the headline says it all. I mean, it's just, you really can't make this stuff up. Two teens attempted attempted carjacking thwarted by a stick shift. A sticks your folks. Of course, for some of you might be younger generation, you have no idea what that is. Well, let me explain to you there are automatic cars, which is what 99% of the cars are nowadays. In fact, when I bought my truck a couple of years ago, I wanted to stick shift and could not get it in an F two 50. I couldn't get it. You liked my dad. He would murder for his ticket. He has one now. I can get a brand new F two 50, which I'd saved up for years. That's my 30 year trip. Could not get a distant state. So I got an automatic. But I used to have Ford Ranger stick. I had a lot of 6 four on the floor for the Ford Ranger, or was it on or is it? Out of the floor is lower. Yeah. And you played it. That's how you learn to drop. These two wonderfully stupid criminals, which by the way is called the video. And they can't. They throw the guy out of the car to his goodness. He didn't fight him. He just let him get in the car and not worry about getting shot or anything. Yeah, the two idiots get in the car, one on one side, one of them. And the camera, the security camera from the, I think it's the gas station, sitting there feeling this whole thing. And you're sitting there waiting for them to go off and they wait and they wait 30 seconds, 45 seconds pass by and all of a sudden they get out and run away from the car. They couldn't start it down the road. I'm crying. I mean, are you kidding me? Listen, listen. It is, it's weird 'cause my generation knows how to drive stick shift still because all our dads drove stick shift. Yep. So you don't have a choice. You're learning one way or another.

At four O 6, this week, Maryland's General Assembly sent a bill to the governor that is meant to help people who suffered sexual abuse as children. Now, this measure removes a statute of limitations for filing a lawsuit over such crimes, survivors of church sex abuse say this brings them a great sense of relief. The bill's success according to David Lorenz who leaves the Maryland chapter of the survivor's network of those abused by priests shows the legislature and people of Maryland believe. It is tied to allow survivors a chance at justice. The legislation would remove the age limit for suing over sexual abuse right now that age limit is 38. We've been trying to pass that for 20 years. The Maryland Catholic conference calls the bill unconstitutional Lorenz says if the law is taken to court. "Hello everyone. I am david. And you're listening to the personal finance tip of the week and this week's episode is about owning a portable breathalyzer. According to nitsa one alcohol related death occurs every fifty. Two minutes and drunk driving causes more than ten thousand deaths every year. In addition a drunk driving violation can result in many unwanted outcome such as large fines community. Service jail time and alcohol treatment program the use of an interactive ice before you start your vehicle as well as regular in-person testing license suspension and points on your driver's license. In addition this can lead to a large increase in your insurance premium. Now there isn't easy solution which is to have a designated driver or use a rideshare app. Like uber or lift however not everyone makes the smart choice not to drive and this leads us back to the breathalyzer from my research. The prices for a breathalyzer arranged from eighteen to one hundred and thirty dollars for example the backtrack s eighty model. Dot and nitsa approved. So i know that the readings will be accurate so this is a reasonable purchase for the benefit that it provides the bottom line. Is that avoiding a drinking. And driving situation as better for everyone's pocketbook and more importantly it saves lives. So that'll do it for the personal finance tip of the week until next time. I am david..

New film 'Dear Even Hansen' is a misfire on just about every level

"Let's talk about youth or at least an attempt at representing youth. I'm talking about the weekend's big release. Dear evan hansen which is in theaters on friday. Who where to begin. Amanda dear oven has what is. Dear of enhancing amanda. It is an adaptation of a tony winning musical which will come back to and it is about a young man named evan hansen. Who is having a very difficult time in high school going through some mental health issues some social anxiety issues and has been encouraged to write himself letters of you know like self belief and pas positive thinking one of these letters falls into the hands of another person and i just i'm gonna say because we need to talk about what this film okay. Another troubled student at the high school who then takes his own life and the parents of the second teen find the letter. That evan hansen has written to himself. They believe their son wrote this last letter to evan hansen before he killed himself and then assume that evan hansen. This tea and with no friends actually had a beautiful friendship with their now deceased child and the main character. Evan hansen goes along with it. And it's like yeah. He was my friend and invents a whole story and friendship and ultimately like a philosophy on how to live and connect with other people that becomes like essentially a hit. Ted talk on the internet and then he become something of a mental health advocate but really just sort of friendship at a community of care for other people a wellness figurehead popular on the internet. And and then things sort of unravel but for the most part no one is held responsible for any of the choices made in in the in the musical and the movie and then people sing songs about discovering themselves and it ends. That is the one part. I want to underline you. You just described the bones of the story very accurately and it's a musical. This story is a musical and so of course. The character is break into song as the story unfolds. I thought this was very troubling movie. A movie that really did not work for a variety of reasons. I think neither you. Nor i saw the show on broadway and so we don't really have a relationship to the show. It was a big hit and of course it. Was tony winning. But it is.
