Investigative Journalist Julie Kelly on the Whitmer Trials: Round 2

"I'm back with investigative writer Julie Kelly, who has been covering this beat like no one else. Julie, I want to talk about a matter that not unrelated, actually, because it might supply the original formula for the DoJ's action. And that is the resumption or the second trial that's going on now, just started, I believe jury selection is ongoing. This is for the two defendants who had a hang jury or who are not convicted, but they were also not acquitted. We know that the other two defendants, I believe, work with, talk about what's happening in this sort of Whitmer around two and connected to what's happening with Trump, but also with January 6th. So it's very interesting. So to your point, the DoJ has decided to retry two men accused of conspiring to kidnap and kill Gretchen Whitmer in 2020. The other two defendants four of them went to trial in April 2 were liquidity remaining to head hung jury. So DoJ is retrying them. Of course, this has to do with the heavy infiltration, actually the FBI came up with the whole plan, stitched this group together based on social media posts had numerous informants working out a multiple FBI field offices required approval at the highest level of DoJ and FBI one agent testified in April. So they're retrying these meant what's interesting dinesh is listening to jury selection on Tuesday. This is a heavily trumped supportive area in western Michigan. And you had jurors and you had the judge ask about distrust in the government and at one point he asked jurors to raise their hands if they had heavy distrust in the government. And you could hear the judges reaction. Now, just imagine this is jury selection, the day after these people found out that the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago. And my contention is that this is going to backfire on the government that the DoJ and FBI have created such distrust that people who once were automatically as people on the right supporting the FBI and law enforcement now will view them so skeptically and cynically that it could backfire in this trial and result in the acquittal of two more men

What Is a Woman? A Discussion With Matt Walsh

"So Matt, I figured there's no better kind of venue to ask, what does a woman yeah, I think I've been to the women's March and they didn't know there, but I think this is probably a different crowd from the women's March. So. And no better two people to talk about what is a woman than two men at a women's conference. Exactly. Exactly. Well, someone has to talk about it. That's the thing. That's the conversation someone has to have. So, I mean, let's just start at the basics. Tell us about your film and did you actually get an answer to your question? That's a spoiler. I can't give spoilers away right here. On a stage. But we did give it, we did get an answer. I guess I can't say what the answer is, but we did finally after journeying across the entire world. I finally, I guess I will give it away. I finally thought to just go into the kitchen and ask my wife, and then she was able to she was able to provide the answer. So I went to Africa before I thought to talk to my wife about it. But yeah, it's been an incredible reception to the film so far. And this was, look, what I keep telling the left is that because they're very upset about it and they've been pulling all kinds of tricks to shut the film down. They had a DDOS attack, which I just learned what that is, but it's some kind of fancy technical thing. Where they try to shut down websites, and they did that to shut down the premiere and it failed and everything. And of course, it only brings more attention to the film. In the first place, so it all backfires. But what I keep telling them is that, you know, I've been asking, what is a woman, I was asking it on Twitter like four years ago, all you had to do was respond to my tweet and none of this had to happen, but this is really all your fault.

The FBI Was in on This From the Beginning...

"Now, why would a jury equipped on a case where the specifics of the evidence of pure obvious? Which is to say Michael sussmann did in fact lie. He did not disclose that he was working on behalf of a four, the Clinton campaign, and so it would seem that it's an open and shut case. And I think this is probably what Durham thought it was. But here's the problem. What is the FBI's role in all this? There are two possibilities. Possibility number one, the FBI is an honest to goodness. Police bureau. And here comes this guy sussman and sussman goes, you know, I got some dirt for you, and the FBI goes, oh, really? And sussman goes, oh yeah, it's really incriminating of Trump and the FBI goes, oh, we don't know where you got this from. Sussman goes, oh no, I'm just an honest citizen. So this is sort of what Durham was going for. What Durham is going for is that the FBI is a straight laced organization that was duped by sussman who was just cunning operative into a fake scheme. Now, if you followed the trial at all, it became kind of obvious that this was not the case. The FBI was in it from the in on it from the beginning. So the FBI wasn't duped. The FBI was working hand in hand with the Clinton campaign. James baker, the FBI's number two man, was good friends with sussman. In fact, was reluctant to testify against sussman in this case.

"You look at the brain's and the brain waves of people who are healthy, who are asymptomatic. Correct. And then when you have a patient come in and you see some anomaly, you say, aha, this is off. This may be a key to their symptoms, to their problems, to their seizures, to whatever it is that they're experiencing. So you have this database. Yes. So, but very few people do what you do. Now why is that? I can't speak for other people. I think that my earlier experience as a general medical doctor made me comfortable with examining people and I can remember from the beginning of my psychiatric practice there were two men who had persistently fast pulse rate. They were and they were depressed, but what I realized was the pulse rate was the thing that needed to be corrected and perhaps if I did it, their so called depression would reduce or resolve. And in fact, that's what happened. Right, but what you're talking about is because you have so much experience that you kind of have an instinct. And this is what good diagnosticians do.

Julie Kelly on the Government's Humiliation in the Whitmer Case

"And she's Julie Kelly, senior contributor for American greatness dot com and greatness dot com, Julie. Welcome back to our new America first studio. Well deserved fancy digs there, Seb. Well, thank you. I don't know about that. We've been working in the salt mines for three years now. So this is our reward, I guess. So you, on the other hand, have been working like a single handed news agency when it comes to January the 6th. We'll put up on the screen right now. The two books that you've already written, this loyal opposition on the never Trump movement, and then now most recently, January 6th, let's show that book, Eric, how Democrats use the capital protest to launch a war on terror against the political right. For those people who outrageously missed our discussion on newsmax just yesterday, let me start with the question I asked you there with the collapse of the whitler quote unquote fed mapping trial, which you introduced me to that phrase. And with an acquittal of Matthew Martin from the January 6th quote unquote, insurrection or fed direction, I don't want to count our chickens before they're hatched, but are we potentially seeing a chink in the armor of the political exploitation and weaponization of the federal law enforcement and Department of Justice Julie? Well, let's hope so. I mean, the verdict's in the Whitmer fed napping trial were stunning. I mean, you really can't overstate what a huge defeat this was for the Justice Department and certainly for the FBI. You had a three week trial, most of the witnesses for the government were FBI agents undercover agents, experts, the lead informant. And this whole case was built around the idea that these men got together plotted to kidnap and kill Gretchen Whitmer in the fall of 2020. But what the defense put together over a series of months in numerous court motions was a very compelling and ultimately convincing case of FBI entrapment. That was their argument that was their defense solely rested on the fact that the FBI attempted to induce these men who otherwise would not have tried to commit any of these crimes, induce them into this plot. That is what the jury concluded. They equated two men outright and the other two men, including the alleged ring leader, the jury could not come to any conclusion was hung jury, the judge declared a mistrial. And the Justice Department learning nothing apparently is planning to retrial retry Adam Fox and Barry cross

Here's a report on what's happening in Grand Rapids, Michigan, from WDIV, local four in Michigan. Another African American man has died as a result of the use of lethal force with the interaction of law enforcement. 9 days after Patrick Leo was shot and killed during a traffic stop, Grand Rapids police releasing the video showing the deadly confrontation. 20 minutes of video, some of it too graphic to show. It's a protesters gathering outside the Grand Rapids police department tonight calling for the officer who shot and killed 26 year old Patrick Leigh oya to be charged in his death. The entire case is been turned over to Michigan state police. Our Martin McDonald is live downtown tonight Mara. Law enforcement veterans say the investigation is going to take a while. That's right, Kimberly and here's why, because there are multiple videos from multiple angles of what happened that morning. There are multiple witnesses and then you add on top of that, the confrontation between these two men before that fatal shot was fired. There's a lot to unpack here. It's just after 8 a.m. on April 4th when the 7 year veteran of the Grand Rapids police department to the GRP is not identifying, pulls Patrick Leo ya over for having the wrong plate on the vehicle. Stay in the car. Leo, a Congolese immigrant exits the car and doesn't follow the officer's orders to stay in the car. Liu ya tries to run, a chase and struggle go on for two minutes. There is no backup. "This Michigan alleged kidnapping plot Julie the trial could not have gotten any worse for the FBI which has had I think it's an understatement to say really bad 5 years Give us a summary what happened Why did the case fall apart And what happens going forward Are they going to try to retry any of them So this was of course the plot to kidnap and kill Gretchen Whitmer a case that made wall to wall national headlines as people were voting in the 2020 election the arrests were made in October 2020 Was revealed through these defense attorneys 6 men were arrested charged on federal counts of conspiring to kidnap and also use a weapon of mass destruction But what defense attorneys uncovered months of filing motion detailing very compelling case of FBI entrapment You had at least a dozen undercover agents and informants working out as numerous FBI field offices across several states who can cause this plot to stitch these men together who did not know each other prior to the FBI's involvement Which them together induced them into attempting to commit this crime at the end of the day during western Michigan rejected the government's case not a single conviction to men were completely acquitted And two men remain in jail this DoJ amazingly is trying to is planning to retry both of these defendants after the jury came back as a hungry on that recounts for those two men

"In a stunning defeat for the Biden Justice Department, a jury has acquitted two men, accused of conspiring to kidnap Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer in the fall of 2020. The jury also deadlocked on a verdict for two other defendants, which meant a hung jury, a mistrial. So another way to put it is the DoJ in one of the most high profile terrorism cases. There's been no buzz about Tiger practicing or anything. So it feels like tigers are very much like whether they spoke there's fire guy and I haven't seen any smoke yet about him gearing up, preparing for the masters. You know, usually like this time, maybe his jet would be spotted if the Augusta private airport or something of that nature and just nothing. I gotta try and find, I think it was like TW spot, I gotta see there was like all this news about someone from the inside. I think it was on Twitter and I think it was based on like a people People magazine article or something where they were close to a source that's close to Tiger and said he's gearing up his goal was to play the 2023 match. Which I'm fine with. But like the way that this quote unquote source like portrayed tigers game right now was like he will be back better than ever, ready to dominate the game of golf like he's not done winning one more. He's like not stopping until he becomes like the oldest major winner of all time and like also like wins all the majors you can possibly win. He thinks he has so many more at Augusta all this stuff like it got me so jacked up but like again I don't want to have to apologize to these Tiger wood legion people and TW spot accounts but like how fucking credible are these people? It also came off like it was like notably gay meets foreplay how positive it was about Tiger Woods. So when I read those two that seemed a little bit fishy. It makes me think like TW spot or Tiger Woods legion is just like trying to speak things into existence because there's such big Tiger guys that like they're now creating news so that we all just get excited about tigers that they can be excited about Tiger. Yeah, I think they definitely can do that which feels like I have another apology coming up because like you know that like everything they're saying is probably true and like I'm doubting them. They take this stuff too pretty personally. Very personal. So you've had to do one public apology to them. You'd be down to two two, I feel like if it warrants it. "And you're hitting slash bar stool and you're trying to get all the deals and all that stuff, do this, make sure you get a box of Tor response stripe balls and try them out. When you're putting, you're never seen a golf ball like this. Some way they design. This is a thick yellow ball. You can say something about how it looks and maybe it's not the best looking thing or whatever. I'm telling you guys right now, you have to try this out. Go to a store and get these balls, try them out because when you putt, it looks like it's impossible to miss the hole. It's possible. The yellow line just like perfectly tracks towards wherever your target is. So like you line up your target, you give it a solid stroke, and I'm telling you, you see it roll in. So like as you practice with this ball, you're gonna watch it go over and over. What a lot about your stroke too. If you're oh my God. Cutting it a little bit or drawing a little wobble if you hit it the wrong way. So it makes you want to hit straight putts right on the line. Dude, I'm telling you right now, when we did these at the kingdom, and they introduced them to us. I was like, these are kind of like weird looking and I'm probably not going to put these in play. I put them in play and I fucking put lights out. It was the best part of the experience I've ever had. To respond stripe, go try them out. They're very affordable and they're definitely worth it. Had a couple of friends, fat press came and played golf with us in the pioneers. This last weekend, who that guy is just the best, I can't wait for cartoon character. And hanky panky. Who's obviously our Aaron hills guy who caddy trents one of the best rounds of his life, came in, and he threw 5 rounds of golf. He kept the same ball the entire time, and it was a tort responsible. And dude, you could barely even tell he'd been using it for 5 straight rounds of golf. It had a few scopes from hitting like a tree, other than that, it was just in great shape, performing the whole time. And he's like, yeah, I use the same toy response to the entire trip. It didn't lose it the whole time. We spent a lot of money in golf on equipment. You know, you got your drivers, you got your new irons and balls are, they are expensive. There's no denying it, but they're amazing quality. And you're not gonna get away from the price unless you go with the toll response level. And I'm telling you right now out of all the companies out there that make an amateur ball, right? Like a lower level, lower tiered ball for that lower price. That is true. I do think, yeah, that's a good point. The equipment's a huge part of that discussion. And I do think it would be harder for someone to go and dominate and we were just the whole beginning of the discussion. It was how nobody can really dominate the entire talks a lot about how he wishes they would go back to some of the older stuff because the better the equipment is at neutralizes everybody. I mean, it's like, if you and I can go out and hit Taylor made stealth drivers pretty damn straight and far, then clearly the best players in the world. Now there's like 50 of them instead of there being 5 of them. That's why the best golfers in the world like the tough golf courses and tough conditions. So they know it eliminates all the guys that on a perfect day, more guys are eligible to try and win that week as opposed to the best players know how to get through the wind and flight the ball and maneuver the ball around in the wind. So yeah, it's an interesting discussion. I think Tiger makes it through no matter what, 'cause he's Tiger fucking Woods, just like Michael Jordan would just dominate the NBA in 2050. If he grew up in that era, I mean, we're all in agreement on that just to watch it last day. Jake bass said he would dominate, but he wouldn't be a success. But what if he had, he doesn't have a mic, but what if he had his team? I think that with Scottie Pippen grew up to doctor Jay was wearing not converse tennis shoes. He would have been with them. Jake Smith, doctor Jay was not wearing converse tennis shoes he would have been more dominant than Michael Jordan. Which is like a general. Okay, in general, he'd be more dominant. The equipment stuff. It's always tough because you can never find out. And you could argue it, and they argue this about like, oh, it was Bobby Jones the best player to actually play in the game of golf. But he was in search of different time with starship and equipment and the amateur, being the amateur, was way different. If you could actually go pro and focus and that was like money in that. So people can debate that in all kinds of different reports forever. I mean, Michael Jordan was just so fucking clutch. He was just so clutch. He performed his best when it mattered the most, and that was like what Tiger Woods and what Jack Nicklaus separates them is just being able to actually perform at that high of a level when it actually matters most..

"From Monday, we from today when we're recording, we will be at the at the copperhead course at Anne's brook where they just had the valspar championship. Sam Burns, who's a friend of the show, friend of the program. Big pizza guy. I feel like when he was in New York, he was all kinds of asking for racks and going to Dave's favorite spots and eating with schaffler and the whole crew. Back to back wins of the valspar. He made like a 30 or 40. I can't remember how far it was football in the playoff to get the win, JT was right there. JT, it feels like breakthrough at any moment. And just take off. He came up one shot short. Clearly was like devastated and said he could have won the tournament. He at the players championship was on the wrong side of the draw, had that unbelievable round that everybody was going crazy for. So I can't a little bit, does it a little bit feel like someone needs to break out? Yeah, a lot of nobody's, it doesn't feel like any like shuffle or one a couple of events within a few week time, but then it's like, rahm is number one. And Morikawa, it feels like some weeks he's clearly the best player in the world. And like Patrick cantlay went on that run at the end of last year. JT's clearly been JT for 5 or 6 years out there. Like, feels like there's just a lot of guys, nobody's grabbing the grab in the throne we need another one of those Brooks Koepka like those runs where it's back to back U.S. opens. And you know what I mean? Game of Thrones of PGA Tour. It is. No one's really taking that stance of like holy shit this guy's on a miracle run right now. Ram did it with just his style of play and like finishing top 5 and top tens last year all the time. He was playing out of his mind, but that's not as sexy as like winning every week or like coming out and winning multiple huge tournaments. So at the end of the day, yeah, we do need a breakout guy, but I mean, there's no better time for golf right now where any week a top guy can win. Which is what we said this last week, why there was all that rumor about rom Zach and stop playing until he passed his Tiger Lake. I just don't know how this is going to be physically possible for anyone to ever do that ever again. Number one, because you're not Tiger Woods. He's like literally been crafted by Zeus himself. And secondly, any given week, you're telling me you're just going to beat Justin Thomas and Colin Morikawa and fucking Scottie scheffler and it's crazy. The talent is fucking insane. So one of the I'm going to kind of marry from the gallery and this little talking point right here, but one of the guys miles sent us a from the guy that was a good question. He said Tiger Woods won 14 of these 15 majors in the 11 years from 97 to 2008. And this time his main competitors were Phil Ernie, Vijay, et cetera. Tiger's career started in 2011. How many majors would he have today in 2022, which is an 11 year period during the time of the Rory's the dust and the Brooks and those guys. And it is a fascinating concept that I remember that whenever you get into these debates about Tiger and his run, is it that Tiger was so unbelievably dominant or was it part of that because like the guys that he was going against weren't as, you know, it's like a chicken and the egg. Which one was more suppressed because Tiger was good or was Tiger's good because he didn't have guys that could break through..

"Great partner of ours. Now to put a bow on this max home a match, I've got a poem to read. This was a user submitted poem from a guy named Matt havasi. Okay. Matt hevesi was a guy who reached out to me on Instagram a bunch of times saying like, you know, dude, can we actually come to this thing? I'll drive from wherever. He ended up coming to the match, had the time of his life, he was so taken away by the entire experience that he went home and he penned a poem. Now I'll read this. I don't think it has the same cadence as my usual Dr. Seuss one. Kind of sucks. I don't think it sucks. You'll see that it doesn't flow as much as my 5th grade ones. And I've gotten chirped for my cadence where it's like you don't always have to do Dr. Seuss poems. No, I think you definitely need to do that. You have to, it has to be like the same amount of syllables in the first one to say about. But this one kind of gets all over the place. I mean, you're going to be doing keep it pretty elementary. So he called it two 22 22. So we got real serious off the title. Here we go. A poem by Matt hevesi, its poem.

"Texas the Texas sweep. Doc Redman's coming out next week. We got a lot of shit coming out, man. Tonight Rory McIlroy, next week, Doc Redman we attempt a hole in one challenge with Doc Redman. He gets so into it. We went to like, what? It was like a 150 yard hole or something like that. We almost killed Jake baz. We almost killed Jake bass on the funniest cups we've gotten on video. That's gonna be that's gonna be like the focal point in the video. And then people are gonna love Doc Redman from that because you could just see him want to make this hole in one so badly tries for an hour at trying to make it. We came so close, some balls were hit because like on its way to all on one, it hit another ball. It was so much fun to be able to try and do that. So that's coming out next Tuesday. We got a lot of shit going on, man. Speaking of kind of behind the scenes and stuff we've been working on. We've been creating something pretty cool with our friends at shady rays. I'm rocking these things right now. We got shady rays, sunglasses, the Ventura, the Ventura, that are also barstool golf limited edition. They got the B cross tees right there. Really good. They got the barstool golf kind of up at the top right, really tiny script on the lenses. These things are just phenomenal. Shady rays we've been talking about for a long time. I have a bunch of parachute raises at one of the best deals, one of the best warranty deals. And kind of the whole sunglasses game. The premium Ventura frame premium. With a matte Matt on the mat, Matt day. That's something I would do. Like a latte. Yeah. The matte acetate? Is that right? Acetate. Acetate? Acetate. It's no, oh, it's ACE, TAT, acetate. So you're asking me? Ultra premium polarized emerald mirror lenses. Look, these things are great. I'm wearing them all day today. Okay, they are polarized. You are literally your brightening up the golf course on a really, you know, on a really sunny day, a lot of times you put the sunglass on, it gets glaring, you can't quite see it. You don't want to hit your swing because your feel is not going to be the same. These brighten everything up and make it easier to see. And they got the really cool branding on them. So you can go to shady rays dot com slash barstool golf, be one of the first to get these extremely limited bars to a golf shades..

"He found out a wind halls. We found out we found out that we couldn't make putts when it mattered. And you know, we at least we have the, it ended up in the overtime. So you know that story of Spieth after he made like the 7 on the 12th hole at Augusta when he had the 5 shot lead. And then he's going next hole and growler tell the story of Spieth went to him. I feel like we're collapsing. Yeah, it was like the whole back 9. We are so mentally not tough that we just were like, we're just, we're losing it. Yeah. He's just, he's gonna win this match. We were like three up or two up with like four to play. And it was just like, man, we're probably not gonna win this. No, it happens. It happened really, really quickly. Yes. Yes. It went from fun and giggling and the crowd. And then the crowd started to turn on us, like they're all, they're all high 5 of us. Going nuts, they're emotional about family connection. And then they started like heckling us on last night. They got mad at one point. Yeah, we were like, fuck you guys. You guys doing? It got really, really serious, especially with the fans. And I got into it with a couple of guys in the video. I was Arizona coyotes, coyotes fan was chirped me about the islanders. It was, it got really serious, but you know, max homa, he showed it, he showed up as much as we thought he would. He was perfect for the video. His personality. He was perfect for how competitive he was. At the end of the day, just you can't think of a better competitor to play against in that type of video, that scenario. I mean, the format scramble is just an absolute juggernaut of a video. It shows how good these guys actually are. She has 66 on the course he's never played with. Never been there before. And he couldn't make anything. Couldn't make anything on the front shot 66. It's like, at the end of the day, man, like if you're not watching that and thinking that these guys are the best fucking offers on the absolute planet, then you're insane. Under some pressure too. I mean, I know it's not PGA Tour pressure, clearly. But the entire back 9. I mean, it was intense. There were fans out there..

"We've talked about the way he walks for years. We didn't know if it had something to do with him leveling out the weight of his dick or big old swinging dick. We didn't know if that had anything to do with the pop, but he tells a story about it. Dude, out here at the Barcelona classic we're seeing a bunch of people and the first thing to say is like the max homa video, amazing, obviously. If you haven't watched that, you're insane. It's the best way we ever put out. And then they say, isn't it insane how good Rory is that explaining from our last video, how to gain distance, I was out there on the range every single person was trying it. Like Frankie, is this what Roy was saying? Just a little bit on the front foot leaning in and taking that back hip and pulling that pocket in. It's like he made it so simple that everyone now can go out into the range and do it. I don't know that I've ever met anyone that can really relate information that easy. No, because usually it gets complicated. People start to get into the full swing numbers and the angle of the attack and you need to and you start thinking like what the fuck are you talking about? Like just tell it to me like I'm 5 so that I can understand it and actually apply something and here for whatever reason he just spoke about it so confidently and so normally that you could just do it and he had every one of us in that first video, which hopefully people watch me remember. He had every one of us picking up club head and ball head speed. It's crazy. Every single one of us and he did it. I mean, he worked with each other for a max of three minutes or maybe 5 minutes. And then tonight he finds himself in a weird situation with a 6 iron where he has to like open up the club face and try and like on a downhill slope have to try and chip and all this stuff..

"Myrtle Beach has everything. I mean, I was looking through there. They got top a hundred courses. They got municipal courses. They got courses on the water with ocean views. And then we were at this place, the barefoot landing last night was where this crooked whatever was. I mean, it was shocking. It was like this cool courtyard with all kinds of different bars, restaurants, people were on a, was it like a gazebo out there? Was that like circular gazebo in the water and we're having beers or cornhole cornhole? It's like holy shit, how are people not coming? How does everybody not come to Myrtle Beach once a year twice a year, make trips out of it all the time. So big barrel beach guys, we're coming due later this year. We're doing a travel series in Myrtle Beach. We're obviously going to highlight it a lot more. But I mean, sandy, white beaches, they got all kinds of different bars. They've got some other entertainment that I know is quite popular when you go to Myrtle Beach as well if that's what you're into. Go karts, their go kart track I saw yesterday would have blown you away. Did you see it on the way home? No, you've talked about it. Yeah, I've got to go to that. It looks like a legit looked like an old wooden roller coaster in terms of the layout, but it was just a full concrete go kart track. There's all these places that we go to and it's their golf trips. You go to bandon dunes, you go to all these resorts and you're like, all right, like even Aaron hills. And it's just golf. So you have to love God. You have to love hanging with the boys and that's all you're gonna get. You come to a place like Myrtle Beach and it's an adult playground. There's something to do every single night, and you're not just looking forward to the golf. You're looking forward to all the nightlife, you have bars, you have restaurants, so Greg Norman has like a restaurant called the shark's house or some shit like that. There's just everywhere you look. You're like, what is happening? What's happening around here?.

"Every day. And then we would kind of jump in late at night and that old shit office where there was only like one podcast studio. And obviously pardon my take had priority, KFC radio had priority. There was a million things that had priority. So whenever we could sneak into that little studio that wasn't even soundproof, we would record the podcast like once a week, just myself and Trent. And then we were trying to film like golf videos, but it became under such a negative microscope from Dave that every time we post like a golf video, there's a chance he would just quote, tweet it, shit on it, and then every one of his minions would just shit up. Oh my God. Sucks. What are you guys doing? You can't blame Dave for that because that was the world that we lived in. There was no reason to believe that this would take off to be like a massive golf brand with 50 however many events at golf courses and being able to be sponsored by tailor made and all this stuff. There's no way of seeing all that. That's honestly just persevering through all the bullshit that had to happen from the beginning till now. But at the time, blogging was king, like Dave just wanted everyone to be like kind of built from the same cloth as him is like crank out 25 blogs a day and that's how you become a multimillionaire being on the Internet. That was the Dave port and I recipe. And it sort of just changed and even his life has changed. Now he does video more than he does blogging. It's just hurt us that golf has played a beautiful places. I know. 'cause it's like, oh, they're just out at nice places. I'm in this shit office. Because at that time, it was blogging office. There was no events, so it was like, why are these guys in Miami right now? When Dave Portner, who's the leader of the company, was sitting in ice cold rainy New York City. I remember being there with him being like, where the fuck is rigged right now? Dude, and then we would have, you know, like Trent is obviously as nice and as go with the flow and I want to make sure Dave and everybody's happy and I'm very combative and we get defensive so then Trent and I would have like strategy sessions of like, all right, in 5 minutes we're going to put on Barcelona. It sounds like, what are we really going to say? And then we would kind of disagree on what we should say. And then we'd call and then it just goes off the rails, like none of your strategy session matter, you just start sometimes yelling or sometimes apologizing. Put in the ringer all the time. And so now to look in its 5, 6 years later and we've got you, we've got lurch. We got a whole production team behind us or bass, a Brandon. We got Zach on social, we got Garrett, who got stolen by graphics. We got out. We had just a whole team now, and we get to just be out here frolicking around and Myrtle Beach, which we gotta talk about Myrtle Beach. First time ever here, Myrtle beaches, stunning, I'm looking outside. It's about 64°, not a single cloud in the sky. Our hotel, the grand resort, the grand dunes resort that we're staying at is, I mean, I walked outside and I was just looking at this little inlet water with grass and sand bunkers behind it and the sun rising and glistening off the water. I was like, all right, Myrtle Beach is fucking awesome. 70 golf courses. I.

"Been here before, where the bars will classic, we got, of course, per usual much to get to. This will be, I think, the first Frankie Riggs show in history. Is it? Well Trent didn't make it one time. Was he? So lurch was on the one that Trent didn't make. Yeah, this is the first dual show. Just a gruesome too soon here. You used to do it. You used to do it to some show with Trent before I came about. It's really weird to think about that just myself and Trent would talk off for what the hell did you guys talk about? I don't know. It feels like that would be impossible to do now. And we just kind of, I don't know, I guess we ripped off each other when she spoke about it. I would like to go back. I'd probably get the anxiety and cringe worthiness to go back and listen to just like the first couple episodes. Even the first couple that I was on, just like, holy fuck, what the hell are we saying? Dude, we had Ali Schneider jams, our first guest ever. And we were just asking about what shampoo we use. He's got nice hair, and that was pretty much the entire show. How many episodes have we done? This will be 400. 445th episode right now? Holy shit. This is the first time it's just been the two of us. Yeah, weird. What a weird time. Shout out to the crew for sticking together for 444. That's way, that's a way higher number than I would know. It's also been sneaky like 5 years. I mean, we're at the parser classic right now. Shout out Myrtle Beach. This is the fourth year of the bar so classic. That was when you said that today during the opening ceremonies, that was like everyone kind of looked around being like, is he sure about that? This was our 52nd barstool classic qualifier that we did today. Jesus Christ. So it does feel really bizarre. I mean, last year we did 27 of them this year, we're doing 25..

"About all of it all the time and living sarath over time none of it's fucking dusty dark and secret anymore and that's what's really right right. No i agree. I kind of weirds me out about like usually like sex parties or like kind of like things like that nature that are more open like the sex actual community what what turns me away from. It is like there's too much openness almost too much conversation too much openness and then there's no surprise so where does that leave us. There was a weird overlap with anti slut shaming where it was like. Okay so i'm going to go out and fuck you. I'm going to go out and fuck three is tonight and it's going to be awesome and i'm an independent woman and it's like okay but you also have to really understand there's balance like you have a balanced sex life and he. Every person knows what balanced feels like whether they pretend to not or whatever but so it's like if you're if you're talking about maybe your sex life is not balanced your kind of fucking around and doing this stuff to a point where it seems like. You're filling a void. I feel like that was. That's like a gray area that's crept up recently where it's like. Don't shea me for fucking everybody. Well it's like yeah. It's not that it's more like encouraging people to have a balanced life and with balance comes disclosure. Like what you talk about what you don't talk about and kind of you know. I think that people can be imbalanced when they talk about fucking too much. I feel my friend who's Recently submerged herself in the like sex positive king community and dig house like by the way that will loses while you think out and sure enough within a week he was talking to and he'd sent over spreadsheets in excel spreadsheet of like all the things that they could do and she has like falen in a column weather. Snow will maybe that is what. It's yeah yeah. Yeah it's like it's lovely and like there should be consent but there's a part where it's like i don't wanna feel like i'm my parents are signing off on me going on a field trip. But you know he's a little too much it's weird. Did you ever feel when you were writing the column in your twenty s and being very open that you started doing sexual activities performance of liege for fodder for the show for the column. So the sunday times is like It's quite a conservative paper so it was mainly psych. He would never really graphically about sex. Would talk about who. I was sleeping with and the frequency with which i was sleeping with vehicle. I mean it's so difficult. I'd love to know if you guys have this. Quandary it so difficult when i trace back. What makes me constantly seek out interesting stories and basically maximum drama overtime. That was something. I was both or all whether that's like an appetite for living or whether it's just that i started narrative icing my own life to make money at such a young age that i now feel panicky. Silicon not collecting content old times. That definitely like that was. That was definitely a problem with dating into therapy for the first time and she was like basically your sex in contact. She said like you. Basically you've got you've you've worked out how to have a career that completely enables and like ninety enable this habit like pays you money to go out and try and find his much romantic conflict and excitement in your life as possible. And so yeah. I think the chill to a question is the. I think i probably did do that. When i was trying to find material every week but i think kind of doing that my whole life. Anyway like yeah. Well i think that we're on this planet to experience things and when we experienced something when we are horizons are opened. Our curiosity is excited or creativity. Whatever it is to have experiences traveling as an experience and one of one of the greatest experiences in intimacy and human connection sex. So i think that yes it could be done. Because you're chasing this desire to share with people and you have this captive audience and it's exciting to share with them because especially if you feel like. Oh they're they're really feeling empowered from it so i think it's a combination of both because i think that it's natural for human beings to want to chase experiences regardless i want to do if i want to do all the weird stuff all the creepy like i want to. I constantly want experiences. And so yeah just checking in with yourself going. Am i doing this. I had i had three way. It was great with two dudes. One of them was a porn star. And i'll never not brag about it and and my favorite detail of it was that you will worried about you spell i. I was in the hospital days. Four with an. I'm like well. I have one contact in and i'm like i don't like fuck do men with one contact then because my sights very bad but a lot throughout that process when i was like the guy that i was sleeping with that we had this idea together and we flew the guy in. I kept asking myself like you're doing this. Because this you on right and my answer was always yes so well. Yeah that's my point. I think because. I think some people experience why syrians things to experience them and some people want experience them to talk about them to other people to post about it on instagram. Just say hey look at me. I did this thing. Always feel when it's that Yeah i mean. I can but like i also think that a lot of people are living very sad lives performance and i think it's important just like checking on that it's not. It's not an issue for people not in the entertainment business really. you know. it's kind of an issue. Only for people who entertain with their real lives which is a small group of people known for being yourself. Yeah that ends up making you question your own actions and i think it's just making sure that it that it's not expensive of things that it's not the expensive integrity who believe so. We will sure mental health. That's the stuff. I think is really important with with checking in.

"If it's a football season you know part of that show toughness. It's not just hey. We got lucky. Unlike the how tough for you how tough for your players. How tough is that group is and to survive this playoffs with everybody going down. There's a there's a case to be made me. Oh that was easy for you but at the same time like you gotta give the team. That's actually still healthy enough to win this whole thing a lot of credit. Yes i guess what. I'm having trouble wrap my head around is i. Do feel like the lakers clippers in nets. Were the were all better than whoever is going to win. This a healthy versions of those three teams are all kind of better than whoever we're gonna end up with. Now you're a fan of the bucks or the sons fuck you. This is why. let's not play the games. Then i get all the arguments. I've been in situations. We the two thousand one. Pats is a great example. That was not the best team. They won the super bowl. And then we got to hear about. You shouldn't have beaten the steelers. You shouldn't be the rams this is why we play the games. I just think in this case. I keep going back to that game three win. That box court is go. look at. That clipper sons box score from. I mean i'm sorry. Lakers suns box score firm game three this year. Oh game three and go look at like just a davis lebron like they just whack them they outrebounded by seventeen. I think they had too much size for the sons. And i think they would have figured out a way to win the series Especially with chris with the band up shoulder that you could argue. Chris ever gotten hurt. Maybe this set maybe it would have been seven and then the signs booker gets hot. A i get it but The seventy eight bullets. They went forty four and thirty eight in the regular season they They beat san antonio and philly. Were there not favored neither series. The sonics took the seven. They won on the road in seattle They had elvin hayes was their best player but it was kind of at the tail end of whatever he was west unsettled getting old. Bobby andrews great. I don't know if he's in the hall of fame yet but he should be. They had no point guard. Any kind of go through that team. You're like wow. How did they win. In the reason they won is because belong. Got hurt and the lakers had really fucked up season. The blazers the lakers two best teams. And then the sixers choked and had some dissension stuff and And they just kind of one and guess what all these years later. November remembers all that stuff Bullets title and that's what it's going to be with this title. The bucks linn is big. Hey we one. Plus books have one fifty years sons have never won. You think they give up their injuries. So i don. I don't want to dismiss it. It's just it's just weird to play this whole season and we're going to have a champion and i'm just not going to be convinced that that was the best team i need. I'll get there. I just need to wrap my head. No it's going to be nasty. And i'm telling you right now like when i think the most fitting thing would be from walkie to win at all because that fan base doesn't get nearly enough credit for how nasty they can be and they're you know everybody that's a national talk show guy. If you're dismissive of the box of just telling you like strap the vest on get ready. I i really respect how they came back in that net series after losing game five. I really think that was impressive. And how they pulled off the ot win on the road all that stuff granted it was durant and you know a bunch of role players basically but you still get credit for that. They came through. They could roll though where they did. You the coaches getting fired. They didn't roll over you just ten minutes talking about. They're not so. I i'm i'm saying is it's not like they did have real challenges that they overcame. I just think the road was really easy with even atlanta team. I just wish to say landon team was healthy. I think it would have been. The hunter is playing. Bogdonovich is out. The this would have been a really fun. Matchup would have been small ball and then the bucks would have to figure out how to counter safari i. I hate complaining about shit like this. I don't wanna be that guy. I just think bucks sons bucks sons is a finals is just bizarre to me. Like i'm not convinced either team can even score down the stretch. Sometimes we saw that nets defense completely. Shut down the bucks. In some of those playoff games. We saw phoenix yesterday. Couldn't make a shot for deter fourth quarter muscling game and i'm having a hard time. Wrap my head around that. 'cause scoring is so easy these days. We're up with this final steam. Where i'm not convinced either team can really get a basket with the need to although milwaukee certainly did today all right. That's who take that as far as we get of your little dismissive of the best version of a healthy phoenix. Chris paul not being away from nba games for a week. I think their offense offenses a little better than you giving a credit..

"The reason we're calling this in israel nerve is because said has multiple other bills that are competitive with her divine. Sandra billed as royals next best build. Which is the essence. River build was significantly worse than the overpowered divine son revealed. I still fine whether he goes to find underwear still anyway or goes back to the essence river builds. I think he's fine. He's broken yeah he he still has well over a twenty five percent pick and just is down from like thirty eight percent so and as always been a high pick rate champion some of that is just one of the most popular champions league of legends Because even when he's been in the dumpster he had a high pick rate like a twenty percent or so sometimes because it's because he's the highest skill cap. Adc in the game so people at higher eli knew how to use them in use them. Well he's so much fun. I just want him to be good without being so good that people who are bad as real can still win and then him see i always feel like i do tremendous amounts of damage and lose any way when i play real. That's my experience. I mean he. He's a very specific champion. It's just one of those like anytime for people who aren't as real maine's or israel frequent players at least are doing well reliably on him. He's too damn strong. He's a hard champion. Yep speaking of You've you have some theory crafting for israel's new build right okay. So i've been crafting this for a couple of patches and we're going to go ahead and throw it on the record on the show so in a patch or two when this becomes his build. I can point to this and be like ha. I did it with double-tier. I'm doing it again. Fuck you i am going to go. Essence river mamoon leon injuries and then frozen heart anyway because q literally just mana. Stacking is like mindlessly man stacking because he does so much damage with the man immune products themselves. I also think andre is actually brings a lot to the table because it gives him tons of ability to gives them. ap he actually uses up like every other marksman and every other man. I'm user basically and that burn. The burn itself isn't much although it is a little bit of extra poke whenever you land polk but it also gives you a damage amp against targets that are burning so it helps you do more. Dps two so. I'm that is what i am going to be doing whether that's actually optimal or if you should be going displayed for your mythic for the essence river builds like people were doing previously. I don't know we will see. But is now on the podcast on the record so if laundries becomes his go to mythic for essence river builds. I can point to it and be like ha. I was ahead of the curve. Speaking of laundries. One of the reasons that i think is going to be an option for.

twenty percent thirty eight percent Sandra israel two one double-tier One of the over a twenty five percent one of Adc most of patches andre every maine patch

"Two people <Speech_Female> with two slices <Speech_Female> of bread asking <Speech_Male> one random <Speech_Male> question <Speech_Male> if two people were Oh <Speech_Male> to accidentally drop <Speech_Male> a slice of bread <Speech_Male> at exact opposite <Speech_Male> points of the globe <Speech_Male> would form <Speech_Male> the <SpeakerChange> into a sandwich <Speech_Female> in Earth <Speech_Female> Sandwich. Yeah <Speech_Female> it's exactly <Speech_Female> what it sounds like back <Speech_Female> to people <Speech_Female> in New Zealand and Spain <Speech_Female> have created <Speech_Female> in Earth Sandwich <Speech_Female> by placing <Speech_Female> slices of bread <Speech_Female> on precise points <Speech_Female> either side <Speech_Female> of the planet nineteen <Speech_Female> year old. Yeah <Speech_Female> not from <Speech_Female> land said. He's <Speech_Female> been wanting to do this for <Speech_Female> years. He <Speech_Female> used longitude <Speech_Female> and latitude. Points <Speech_Female> to figure out where <Speech_Female> exactly <Speech_Female> was the other <Speech_Female> side of the globe <Speech_Female> then not <Speech_Female> posted on Reddit. <Speech_Female> To find someone. Near that <Speech_Female> point he found <Speech_Female> his counterpart in <Speech_Female> Spain and they <Speech_Female> agreed on a date <Speech_Female> and time plus <Speech_Female> some <SpeakerChange> other key <Speech_Male> details. We've <Speech_Male> had to try <Speech_Male> to organize the <Speech_Male> same kind of bread <Speech_Male> which is surprisingly <Speech_Male> difficult. You'd <Speech_Male> expect supermarkets <Speech_Male> Rothwell to have <Speech_Male> the exact same kind. <Speech_Male> Apparently not <Speech_Male> also try to you <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> get both of <Speech_Male> them facing north. <Speech_Female> When the time <Speech_Female> came the two men <Speech_Female> lay down their <Speech_Female> slices of bread <Speech_Female> one in New Zealand <Speech_Female> and one <Speech_Female> in Spain and <Speech_Female> lunch served <Speech_Female> <Speech_Female> the earth? Sandwich <Speech_Female> was complete <Speech_Female> so it can <Speech_Female> be done but <Speech_Female> why do <Speech_Female> it in the first place. <Speech_Female> Notice says <Speech_Female> he's currently on <Speech_Female> vacation <SpeakerChange> and didn't <Speech_Male> have anything better <Speech_Male> to do. It's also <Speech_Male> quite nice to just know <Speech_Male> that there is someone <Speech_Male> at the exact opposite <Speech_Male> point of the world <Speech_Male> that has done <Speech_Male> exactly <Speech_Male> the same thing as <Speech_Male> you in. There's <Speech_Male> one particular instance <Speech_Male> we've got <Speech_Male> entirely different <Speech_Male> lives but we are now connected <Speech_Male> by <SpeakerChange> this <Speech_Female> point. Two <Speech_Female> men have created <Speech_Female> an earth sandwich <Speech_Female> by placing <Speech_Female> two slices of bread read <Speech_Music_Female> on opposite ends <Speech_Music_Female> of the Earth at the <Speech_Music_Female> exact same time. <Speech_Music_Female> And that's <Speech_Music_Female> it.
