Senate Democrats move immediately to "Plan B" on minimum wage
"Yesterday we told you That the parliamentarian head ruled that the dollar minimum wage does not pass muster for reconciliation and must be taken out of a covid relief. Bill now We clarified unlike most of the media. That the parliamentary and actually has no power whatsoever It is just give an advisory opinion is not an actual ruling. The person who does the ruling is actually the presiding chair of the senate was normally is the vice president so comma. Harris is going to have a huge part in this conversation now wants the parliamentarian gave her so called ruling. All the democrats immediately gave up on fifteen dollars minimum wage as things stand now they are going to be taking that provision is going to be taken out of the bill and we will not get fifteen dollar minimum wage for at least four years now. There is a way to prevent it. There are four steps here. I'm going to walk through all four steps and you will see that if we do this. It's actually very doable. To keep it in the bill and to actually win on this issue but it requires courage from progressives and then Requires us to put public pressure on some of our allies and then eventually to the biden administration and sure so step one is unfortunately right now the most important step and where we're going to have to call out bernie sanders bernie sanders. Is the chair of the budget committee. The chair of the budget committee the signs. What is in the kobe. Relief bill bernie sanders. Current plan is to take fifteen dollars minimum wage out of the covid relief. Bill that is a terrible idea. He should not do that. If corporate democrats are going to vote against let them vote against it but doing it on their behalf. i cannot overstate. What a bad idea that is in that scenario that right now is what is going to happen unless we change it together bernie would kill the fifteen dollar minimum wage on behalf of joe manchin and joe by. He should not do that. So that's this is step one. I'm going to get to the other steps in a second guys. I need you to immediately participate. We've got a campaign we've got a partition and and we've got hashtags. We must do all of the above and the campaign is called. Don't kill it bernie because yes step one indisputably. It is a matter of fact. Is that the budget chair decides if it goes in the bill that is bernie sanders. That was the whole point of him being budget share. If he's going to take out. Fifteen dollar minimum wage will take out every provision the joe manchin and joe biden are opposed to that means we will get no progressive priorities past none. The fifteen dollars. Minimum wage was literally the bare minimum. It was the first ask of progressives so bernie. You've got to keep it in the bill because if he does not keep it in the bill. It's over that hashtag fight for fifteen. There is no more fight. That means progressive surrender. I'm being honest with you. Guys our job is to do the news. Those are the facts of how this process works so go to the petition. All right and here. Let's put it up for you guys and it's simply called. Don't kill it bernie. And what is saying is we don. T have a clear message. Don't take it out of the bill. It's one hundred percent your call on whether you keep it in the bill or take it out of the bill. Do not do that because if you take it out of the bill and you kill it then we will not be able to get back to it for four long years and there's no reason for it so and and if you're tweeting about this at all please use hashtag. Don't kill it bernie. Because we must get senator sanders to turn around. There are no other steps if he takes it out of the bill now if he keeps it in the bill now let me walk you through how we could actually win on this step two would be since it's in the bill. The presiding officer of the senate would have to rule to take it out of the bill. So kamala harris who in her role as the vp would normally be the presiding officer. The senate would have to actively vote with republicans or side with republicans the and the parliamentarian for what it's worth again. The parliamentarian has no vote. No power just gave a rando opinion on what they think they should do it. The republicans would never care about it. It it has no force of law at all. in fact it's being used as an excuse by kamla harris show schumer and the others to kill a provision. They were never in favor of so. Then we have to put pressure on comma harris to not side with mitch mcconnell. Can we do that. Yes yes we can definitely do that. If chuck schumer wants to protect com la- harris and he puts another senator in as the presiding officer. Will they will put pressure on chuck schumer. Would you like to continue to be the senator from new york. There are a lot of progressives in new york very very strong. Progressives in new york that could easily take that seat not easily but that could certainly have a shot at taking that seat. So now here's the most part steps three if she decides to take it out of the bill. There's nothing we can do about it comma harrison show schumer will then actively be saying okay. We killed the fifteen dollar minimum wage because we never wanted in the first place but if we get past that step and go. You win you win. We're keeping it in the bill. Then mitch. Mcconnell would object. Mitch mcconnell would then say. I want to appeal the ruling of the chair. Now here's a great news. Since joe manchin a cinema cap the filibuster and so two joe biden. They would need sixty votes to overrule the chair. So that means they need to break our filibuster to overrule the ruling of the chair. They're not gonna get sixty votes. We win okay. There is a separate more but understand before we go to step four step. Four is awesome but right now you understand how simple it is with. Depression brought to keep it in the bill. We have to pressure mention not mansion comma harris and chuck schumer to not side with republicans. Why god is a progressive movement. If we can't do that what can we do. Do we have any power or don't we have any power. Were about to find out. And then step for is if the republicans cannot break the filibuster. The mcconnell has one last option and this is wonderfully ironic. He would have to ask for fifty vote margin and straight up and down. Vote to kill the filibuster in regards to the votes of the presiding chair of the senate now mansion cinema have said that and biden said that the filibuster is the most precious thing in the world to them. So what are they going to. Now turn around just to make sure you don't get higher wages and they're gonna vote to kill the filibuster in this regard. I mean you would be the most spectacularly hypocritical thing they have ever done and they've done some pretty hypocritical fix so you put them in an near impossible situation and it is incredibly doable but step one is do not surrender. Guys one last thing before we go to john and jordan. There's ninety two billion dollars online. This would be a pay raise for about thirty million americans and to the tune of ninety two billion dollars every single year the reason why biden mansion and the republicans don't want to do it is because the chamber of commerce is dead set against it they are those business interests are giant donors to both the republican party and the democratic party. And those donors are saying. I wanna keep the ninety two billion dollars. I want to give it to my workers. I want to keep their wages incredibly low now go do my bidding. And they do now. Bernie is not in that camp. But he's getting pressure from the other democrats to take it out of the bill. We in a sense have to back them up by saying bernie. We do not agree. We do not agree. Don't kill it bernie. Don't kill it

Who Needs the Europa League Title Most?
"Here's your to win. The europa league manchester united installed his early favorites. Actually co-favorites with spurs english teams. One two three even arsenal getting a better odds to in the euro league van c milan. Let's focus in on those three english clubs specifically their managers. Craig i'll start with you. Which is three need to win the europa league. Most i suppose seventy one hundred in milan because the book is going through. That could be the only reason i passed. Thank josiah marines. When there's the most. Because i think he's the mine under most pressure. His league possession at moment stinks the team's performances have been pretty rotten in terms of on the eye on the country mile off the top four. At one point the talk was others team in the title race and so he needs to deliver something otherwise. He's under severe pressure. I mean you could say well attack. The does he's got cut behind them transition to ask no. I think he's pretty safe there and they talk for. There's no doubt about so. I actually think marinas the mon- needs it. The most stevie you agree they still got a shot at hardware in the league cup final. They got a shot at top six. Maybe an outside shot at top four spurs really. Need this most absolutely think so. Yeah arsenal. yeah we think point lead over you. He's he's got an f. e. cop behind them less than two months ago so he's fine creek said during transition marino. Another honda is is is not in my opinion going to be in the top four. That's why he was brought and it wasn't brought in to do anything else so it's important that he does produced. So we're because that will deflect away from what has jaw was and the premier league and unfortunately for him yes. He's a the problem is they'll position gsa city who nobody wants to face. So i'm one hundred percent we create. This is absolutely marino. And tom mark from the manchester united perspective. Just how important is this to jar. His record and cup. Tournaments is well documented over four in finals. Big without first trophy be. I think it needs to win one soon. Because it's now four years when united trophy on a long time and they always have the opportunity in the kaaba cup of one. One that need is more than tottenham because five years at the champions league. The asked really really the champions football. I it's sick of being semi-finalists are knocking on the door. They're not gonna win the primarily this season to trophies. This is man united. We're talking about. We're talking about the process itself alongside by munich real madrid barcelona as one of the biggest club in the world. The biggest clubs in the world win trophies and is now four years since one. United one one-stroke trophy with the minor the minor cops. Let's be honest. The league company europa league in two thousand seventeen. They haven't won a big trophy since whilst explosion retired. Let's be honest. The two thousand thirteen primarily because even fa co-ops and the von hall didn't really count towards the biggest trophy so united. Need over the start winning again. And i think social really needs it but if he doesn't win a trophy this season i don't think it'll be the end of their old firm. I think you'll still be there. But i do think the to kick on become this team is going to challenge for the majors. They have to win something. So craig no no i just think off the bucket marks point that yet yeah financially obstacle. But we're talking about modules marina for the reasons that steve and i say and and say well and it's a big f because it's not you know some good teams in there. They say it was a year in the league and we lost hurricane and we will see all these excuses. You'll save won the europa league a nuts champions league football because that's the carrot dangled for when the euro league note from a united perspective. As augie said you know when you're polite for them and their historical standpoint is neither here in the last good marino himself. He delivered second-place mandated. Emily he delivered the gop league undesirable cup. So they've done recently. They really need to be the primarily title at least go neck and neck all the way until publiz reasons you take a trophy as a manager and you would take if you united but really the dining a much. Bigger table than the europa league

US advisers endorse single-shot COVID-19 vaccine from J&J
"A single dose vaccine from johnson and johnson entering the mix health officials say could ramp up vaccine supply and speed up the vaccination process even more. Abc's fill your bus key talked to an official with emergent bio solutions. The company making most of the j j vaccines the head of emerging bio solutions. Bob kramer isn't saying how many doses they are making but it's a game changer mainly because it's effective in just one dose and fact that it doesn't need to be frozen. I think those two attributes make it. Ideally suited for mass immunization. They say for the better part of a year. They've been reading to make hundreds of millions of doses of vaccine available to the
Arkansas Head Coach, Eric Musselman, Discusses His Team's Success This Year
"Know there's a game coming up tomorrow but if we could just get some final thoughts on north we're violating the twenty four hour rule or not. But how does it feel to. I mean your fans are buzzing right. Now they've been excited all year but that really brought it home the other night. I mean the thing that that we're probably the most proud of paul is just the fact you know we got thumped tuscaloosa and we got beat before that at lsu When we were in bad rooch pretty pretty bad too and and We were able to bounce back between those two games. We had a really physical practice with weighted vests. And and you know. I'm not sure we had enough legs To play the fast place style of play that that obama plays and coach you know gets his guys really get out and run and and You know looking back. We knew that that practice would you know would would maybe set us back slightly but we're trying to think long term. We had a great environment. I mean we. You know i understand. It's a pandemic but we had a really good student section. Our crowd was good. There's there's there's been a lot of excitement over the last few weeks with the way that the team is played and and it was a big game. Th you know anytime you get a top ten cheap You know and you can you can you number one. You don't get a lot of opportunities to play top ten teams then when you do and you're able to to get a win. It is a big deal for the fans at former players boosters and and for the student athletes to reward them for for a lot of hard work but we have incredible respect coach oats and his team and we know that you know they're one of the top teams in the entire country so it was a big win. But you're right you gotta turn the page. And that's part of your team is having maturity when you do win a big game two to turn the page and get ready for your next game. I mean you're now final two days of february and and certainly you're going to be going through this now. You're going to be going through this in the sec tournament and ultimately in the nc double a. tournament for for a program that has not won a lot of big games lately. How drill that into their their minds. That this was fantastic. But it doesn't mean anything tomorrow. I mean i think you know all you can do. Really paul's just continue to talk. educate You know. I told him today that you know. I'm a lot older than them. I'm getting getting towards being an old man. And and sometimes you gotta listen to your elders a little bit on on some of these things that you talk about that you know the game you know tomorrow when we play l. s. u. the prior game against lsu doesn't matter and our pr- prior win against alabama doesn't matter there's forty minutes you've got to go out you got to be focused and You know it's. I think that that just kind of how it is and and You know the good thing is having gone through it nevada. You know none of those guys that we had there had really been through it either But i think the big thing is just understanding that each day. You've got to continue to get better. I mean even you know with with with three games to go now. We're talking about how we can get better. We're talking about improving our practice habits. We we do a to onto pick and roll defensive drill today that i'm sure they weren't really excited about doing a two onto pick and roll drill that might be. You would consider a training camp drill but we want to get better and anybody that aspires to play beyond college. Basketball should should want to become a better pick and roll defensive player so hopefully you know you can get your guys excited to understand that you know you're not just doing it for the lead these last three games and then tournament situations you're doing it for the longevity of your career as
Door Dash Shares Fall 16 % After Release of Company's First Earnings Report
"Shares of jordache falling sixteen percent on friday after the company's first earnings report as a public company revenue was higher than expected but door dash lost hundreds of millions of dollars. Ron shouldn't a business like this. Be doing well at a time when food delivery is higher than normal. They're doing well but it's an expensive business to run and just haven't reached the level yet that they expect to see that that that path to profitability that relatively early stage companies like to talk about a little context. The ipo in december was priced at one. O two went up around percents the first day if you recall for somewhere in the high one fifty s today as you said first quarterly report as a public company. It was mixed results solid guidance with soft revenue up two hundred and twenty percent total orders of two hundred and thirty percent obviously covert. Is the main driver. There reported a loss of as you said of several hundred million. Three hundred. Twelve million dollars for the corridor That was bigger than last year's loss of one hundred and thirty four million so increased expenses lower profitability there. They did have adjusted ebitda. That was positive so cash flow was positive at ninety. Four million so that. That's one bright spot. The guidance expects fewer customer orders reduced or frequency smaller average orders in the back half of the year as the vaccine rolls out allows people to get back to restaurants again. I don't think we should be surprised about that. There was some artificial growth here built in because we were all stuck at home. It doesn't mean the door. Jordache isn't relevant and doesn't have a business model that will make sense in the future but it's going to go back to a more normal business. Looks like for them

"It's waiting for tonight and it isn't just that the song was catchy it was that the song basically eight the planet that's on with inescapable this song comes out follow nineteen ninety nine and some point it became the song for the end of the world rates because Y. Two K. was about to happen and I felt like people were kind of like they were torn like on the one hand we've got this print song that pretty much tells us what to do when the ball drops and parts over time well the difference between one thousand nine nine the print song and waiting for tonight was Jennifer Lopez was doing the optimists version Prince God us like a slightly right right right right you better hunker down and Taylor was like a Papa Mali and tomorrow at least it was one of the peak Jaylo moments too from a first record and she announced herself to be this recording artist it was clear that this woman was going to be eh at the center of American culture in a way that no other Latina had ever been at four right yes I think one of the reasons didn't have prefer us who is a wonderful actress Seyran why can't jumped zero fearless she was not gonNA compromise anything about Rosie Perez the movie right and I don't know what Jennifer Lopez would say her compromises were but I felt like part of becoming famous no matter who you are means figuring out how to play the game of yes becoming and stay maintaining the thing that you've earned at any cost right and by the time she becomes famous there's no Latin infrastructure in the movies for somebody who isn't white to become famous in lake to lake have parts that ex- explore the Latin experience in this country now so what happens she becomes like this Sydney party kind of person who goes first and just like we're sending party who had no black people to act with for like a decade and a half really she's frequently white adjacent yes and plots that really anybody could do and that had nothing to do with who she is as Jennifer Lopez or even as a Latina in a Hollywood movie so I just feel like the movies never figured her out and I think it took her a long time to figure out how to be in the movies rate she does Selena then she does out of sight plays a federal marshal one of many cops by the way the Jennifer look this is what they do when you're a non white actor in the movies they make you a cop so she played he's out of sight law enforcement professional monster in law my favorite jailer movie I thought she was so funny in that movie it's true she's still essentially plays why did you as in person who's trying to impress her mother-in-law Jane Fonda but the two of them have such great slapstick physical comedy abilities about Jane Fonda but I'd never seen Jaylo there's a deftness too which is able to control her face and her movements and it's not just like a ditzy clumsy person like she's actually funny in the way she's like giving side is playing all these pranks on Jane Fonda you know it's really I don't like movies were two wonderful women have to fight but they don't fight the home move I know but it just I didn't enjoy okay but but it is one of those romantic comedies that she made the wedding planner is one of them maid in Manhattan two of those movies where hits but it's her highest grossing movie until what probably is going to be hustlers so I wonder what would have happened if the movies had figured out sooner the truth is the woman made about two movies a year for a long time seen working she really working hard she's working on another movie right now what I'm actually trying to get it is this idea that Jennifer Lopez clearly had the makings of what it took to be a movie star but she never got an independence day she never got you know I am legend I am legend you and I both love I mean I'm not saying she literally is going to be an independence day or I am legend although hey everybody there's fought all these Dang remakes listen do that one but it's true what you're saying though is that she never had a movie that was built to showcase her for what she is really good at we never really got to see Jaylo fully BJ low in the movies in movie life is happening to her like she's like a woman who's like finds herself pregnant and then the level of man phones yourself married to a man who beats her she's got kill him at the end she just kind of seems to drift and all these various plot points but then you get the music videos and you see this woman who is she knows exactly where she is in space and time she's not tripping over things she doesn't have to fight with anybody sleep she's paying her own bills her life is not endanger I mean she is exactly where she's supposed to be and she looks like she is loving every minute of it and the as you can tell them popstars aren't comfortable in that role Jaylo loved the role yes she was built for the music videos there is this discrepancy in terms of restorative the movies were trying to tell us one thing and the music and the music videos we're trying to tell us something else and there's this moment in her Asong play where she no I loved the Song I love the video I mean great Jennifer Lopez are hair's just all over the place agin happy it's like deep saturated colors you know does great things with their skin kind of bent over just dancing Japan it it's just a very joyful music video.

"The stock market we talk about income taxes the state planning you name it if it has to do with retirement planning we talk about it and we try to have more fun then a human being should be allowed to have when talking about all of this boring financial stuff and this was going to be no exception because we have a show full of boring financial stuff to talk about but before we go one step further let me introduce myself I am can raise the host of money matters with cameras why thank you Jack your ever so kind you may keep your job I have been a certified financial planner professional now for the last twenty marvelous wonderful and very exciting years and I do feel good in all of the ideas that we talk about on this show these are the very same ideas we talk about with our beloved and most valued clients and you know we work primary our firm is retirement planners of America and I'm a senior adviser there and we work primarily with people who are retired or retiring soon and so all of the things that we do our with regard to two goals we have for you your listener and for clients the first one is we want your money to last as long as you do and then secondly we want you to have a financial peace of mind those are two goals and if we can accomplish that then we have done a good thing and the recently Behrens and name them what your faithful host one of the top one hundred independent financial advisers actually for the seventh year in a row and I'm very proud of that but without our clients we would be no worse all you clients thank you thank you thank you let me go over with you are going to talk about on this our weekly excursion into the land of personal finances so first of all I am a big show for you tonight well add salt and pops out of the woodwork yes we do add a really big issue and so this week we're going to talk about the fed and and as we've described on many many shows in the past we believe that the most important I guess very a ball or Impacto impactful thing that happens to the stock market is the federal reserve and if you look back at the great risk depression and you look at the Great Recession of two thousand eight I give those both to the fed and then you look at the recoveries afterwards I give those to the sad and so let us that the fed but I believe is what really moves markets and so therefore the we've been listening very carefully to what the fed has been talking about and it sounds very much like that they are going to lower interest rates at the end of this month and probably if not then the very soon after so we're gonna go over with you what we think is going to happen if they do that also when you are invest if you are an investor basically what you're doing is you're putting your money at risk nobody pays you a rate of return on your money unless there's a risk there right you give your money you want to be paid for having given them your money to do something and the more risk it is to get it back the higher the rate of return you want to get on that money so it's all about managing risk and so when you are retired especially it is important in my view that you manage risk okay so we're gonna talk about four ways to manage risk in retirement okay now you know other shows might give you three maybe the number one way but we give you a four we go the full Monty I tell you also this week we're gonna talk about social security and so we're gonna go over some strategies and as you guys know if you have questions with regard to social security you may simply go and email it to me I am my email addresses can at our P. O. a dot com that's for retirement planners of America and always there to answer questions and actually I'm gonna clarify something I said last week because I got a lot of emails from people saying wait did you say that did you not and I I think I may have not have been as clear as I should have been so I'm going to review that first before we answer this week's question now also one of the things that is fundamental foundational to our investment philosophy or for our clients is that protecting principle is job number one that's it now growth is important keeping up with inflation is important getting income to support your lifestyle while you're retired is import those are all very important the job number one is preserving what you have because if you don't have that nothing else happens after that okay if you don't if you lose all your money then having income worrying about you know taking a look of the keeping up with inflation all those things go away so protective principle is in is the number one job in our view so therefore I'm gonna ask you ladies and gentlemen are you prepared for the next market crisis what have you done in your investment plan what is there in your strategy going forward that if we have another Y. two K. or we have another two thousand and eight that that you are protected against major losses that could totally derail your retirement what what have you been doing about that so we'll talk about that later on in the show now you know what Jack most shows would stop right there most of us would say you know what if we did just that we have done more than a listening audience could possibly want from a financial.

"He's that beauty guy there. Of course. Yes, he had a which we talked about his tour that was selling well, he cancelled the tour because he claimed he didn't have enough time to prepare for it, and make sure that it was a good experience for his man's, which I act, and it's going to lose him a lot of money because he has to then now out of his own pocket paid back the service charges that the ticketing people were charging the fans sure that the fans get a full refund. But I think that's really smart of him because had he put on a shit show that could have been really damaging to his career. So I think that was smart of him a little update their there was more drama with Constance Wu. She's now, just tainted forever. It feels like not forever. I'm sure eventually, this will go away, but she really put her foot in it with all of her drama with fresh off the boat. Now it seems like a lot of media are out to get her. And not even media. Just people the latest, with conscious. Blue is apparently while stay in New York City to film, this new movie with jaylo about strippers that Cardi B is also in, she left the place, real dirty and trashed it and had a pet bunny, which would who everywhere around like that to the like, I don't even know if I believe it, but I do believe that people are now out to get her. There is a lot of drama with Moby. Did you catch any of that? I did. I think this is a really interesting story, actually, I do too, but I don't quite understand how or why ended where did. So, before we get to the resolution a little back story Moby like Lamar Odom has a new tell all book out, you know, and in this book, he's talking about his life, and in the book he talks about previous relationships. He's had. He also went out on one date with. A lot of del Rey before she was faded, and he talks about having a full on relationship with Natalie Portman it didn't last very long a few months, but she was really young either eighteen or nineteen and he was a lot older than her. I forget exactly how old he was. But I think either late twenties or early thirties somewhere around there. And then in a surprising move, Natalie Portman denied ever dating him saying that she was just a fan and he was a creepy old men. Then, you know I loved it because for a while it was giving me life, a little bit of the back and forth. Then he denied it and said that no they really did day. And then he doubled down even more and released photos that he had which really, you know, the photos proved nothing the photos just proved they were photographs together. Right. So it's just a case of who you're gonna believe, or you're gonna believe Moby, or you're going to believe Natalie Portman. I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. I think that maybe she didn't realize, maybe she thought she was friends with Moby, and maybe Moby thought that there was some sort of romantic thing happening. And maybe there was maybe they kissed. Maybe they went even further than that. And she didn't think that much about it. I don't know. I wasn't there. But I think the truth usually is somewhere in the middle the place where we're at now is Moby was supposed to do a big book tour..

She was dating the pedophile and I can say that because he's legally gotten in trouble for that, and serve time even but Jesus frigging Christ call. Let me know if you guys think they should cancel the show. Four four missing something here we may be. As we don't watch the show thankfully, I don't think anybody else does either. Well, big ING of shows that people don't watch, but it's still on the air. The Kardashians show. We've heard a lot more from Lamar Odom, with his book that he's releasing, and I can say this, because it's just my opinion I've starting to think, 'cause I've read, so many excerpts from the book, I think this dude made up a lot of shit in his book. I am seriously doubting almost everything. He's saying, and what really made that light bulb go off in my head was when he said about his infamous overdose at the Nevada brothel. He claims that the guy who used to own it. Dennis Hof drugged him that it was his fault in the he tried to murder him. First of all, Dennis Hof is dead still by saying that in the book, he's not breaking any law because he's not he can't defame a dead per. Person. And Secondly, if you were a major drug addict beforehand, you probably don't remember all the details, you could have hallucinated the guy gave you dress like one incentive. What reason would that guy he could have lost everything? And he could have lost his license. He could have lost. Look. He the guy's admitted addict, and what do we know about addicts? The Myers through Myers period. That's it guys dead. No one is taking any of this as fact I can't even imagine someone's reading this who could care who would possibly care. Who cares what he writes, who cares, if it's fiction or nonfiction? It's all bullshit because why he's an addict, and addicts are what their lives. Luckily, for him, he's gotten a ton of big press opportunities to promote it people want to hear about the Kardashians, people are willing to book you. So they'll get the, you know, the deferred light. And that's What what. he's getting from the Kardashians, people just want to hear just a little inside scoop because they know that's web hits and that's money my gut. He even claimed that khloe Kardashian beat up a stripper when she barged into a room and found a stripper with him in a hotel room. Do I really think khloe, courtesy is going to beat up a stripper? No, no. Come on trying to sell some books, but it was juicy, and they don't care. They're like say what you want your drug addict. There was some drama with Kim Kardashian khloe sister, and some staged photo of their newborn son saw blah, blah, blah, blah, shocking. It was a stage toward basically, the baby had a lot of stuff around him and baby shouldn't sleep with a lot of stuff around him. But who cares? I don't I don't really want to talk about that was staged. Right. God, maybe wasn't sleeping an update on fister. James, Charles your favorite person to talk about. I don't know who this is we talked about him. Times..

"There was drama that went down at first they were trying to spin it like he just went to pursue other opportunities. But if y'all miss this, he was announced to come back for another season, and then it was announced he's not coming back. So he pulled the constants. Woo, basically. There was a lot of drama behind the scenes that we've now heard where he just like one of the, the final straw that broke the camel's back as they say, on both sides, they had asked the coaches to fly to New York on mother's day to the next day, perform, and be a part of NBC's upfront. And he was just such a diva about it and unhappy and didn't wanna do it even though they were paying him twenty six million dollars a year. He gave such a bad performance, and was so checked out, it was so just unsavory that the head of NBC entertainment tried to fire him then, but didn't and thankfully, he quit for everybody's sake because it was not working. I think the guy's a little tired. He's a rockstar, and I don't think he ever expected this show to send him into the next level of stardom the way that it has. And I think it's a lot of work, and I think the guys. Still rock star. He wants to go out on the road, and he wants to make music. And I gotta think that's a very demanding job. So I think at some point, he says, when is enough money enough. He's got property and dull and a new family. I get it after so many seasons. And there's barely any time off from the show. It's very demanding. So I get why he did it. But I disagree with one thing you said at the top Gwen Stafani is not gonna help that show that show is Adam LeVine. It's Adam LeVine and Blake Shelton. It is absolutely their chemistry that people tune in for, I mean, those two are a comedy duo together. I think the show is gonna take a massive hit. I mess. I doubt it. Okay. We'll see check a little mental note the ratings next season. He is a tune in. He is a tune in. That's why they pay him as much as they do him. And Blake are something together. They really are. I doubt it. Well in more TV news. John legend's wife. He's one of the other coaches on the voice Christie. Teagan. I'm happy for her. I am not jealous or okay, fuck it. I'm a little jealous in a little here. Joel, joel. Yeah. It's okay. For years years, I have been pitching a judge Perez show with me in a fucking pink road telling everybody, who's right and who's wrong. And guess what? Fucking Chrissy Teigen gets a judge show with her mother as her bailiff and doing what I've been pitching. In more reality TV mirrors. This is such a mess. And I don't watch the show, but I love messes that Honey, boo. Boo. And her mother of mama, June this woman, according to the family, addicted to meth, they've released the in the most recent show, she was fainting. She had to be taken to the hospital, her teeth were falling out, really. They staged an intervention and she refused help. And we've since learned that she's still not getting the help that she clearly means and not only that her daughter mama June's child. Honey, boo. Boo is living with her teenage like nineteen year old sister, because the mom is off with her pedophile boyfriend doing God knows what in another state. So my question to you and to our listeners. Is way TV which broadcast this mess. I think they need to cancel the show. I think there's no way that can bring that show back for another season. Do you disagree with me? Or do you agree with me? Well, the wildcard is how much of it is an act. I don't think it's an actually was arrested. They found meth on her. They seem to be enabled us. Yeah. She dies who they gonna blame. I don't even think that there should have given her a TV show in the first place, who the hell is still watching that, by the way, that's a better question Jesus..

What am I best deeds who listens to the podcast shout out to, you know who said that Iggy should join love and hip hop? And I said, no, that's the wrong look for her. She needs to join real housewives of Beverly Hills. Yeah. Because well, I don't want to speak for them. I'm not a person of color, a not a black American, but I would imagine that no matter how much she tries black people won't fuck with her. She needs a wider, and gayer audience, which is the one that watches housewives. Yeah. Anyways segue out of music, and onto my favorite topic in the world to discuss sports. Are we going to talk about Drake? I've got my whole two cents on. All right. Leonard rip. Let's go Drake. He's just a superfan. Okay. And luckily for him. His number one team made it to the NBA finals and he's been at every game Booker, and I were texting about this privately I even mentioned to him that there was one video of Drake literally calling this player. Draymond green look. Dammit, Draymond green trash. He literally said your trash, and then Booker was like, well, that's why they call it trash talk. But, but listen, trash talk and I'm clearly not the sports aficionado, but to meet trash talk goes two ways from player to player and then from Fanta fan, you don't think it's appropriate to boost somewhat on stage. If you paid money to go see them, see difference. We have a difference of opinion on this one. I think if you pay could do whatever you want trash talking is just that that is acceptable trash talking, that's not talk at Holly trash talking about his game. His game is trash is what he saying. But that's just trash talk that's acceptable. I don't like it. Well, I know you don't dream on green himself would tell you. That's acceptable. I think it's acceptable for the players to trash talk each other and for the fans. To trash talk each other. But I don't think it's okay for a spectator to talk that way to somebody that's playing. That's entertaining. You Drake needs to, like slow his role. I mean even the NBA asked him to slow his role and he's not stopping. Look, they created this monster. He has a locker inside of the damn raptors locker room. Okay. So they've created this with him they've given him all this access, and now they want him to bring it back a little bit. But it's good for the NBA. I think the players think it's cool. The Drake is there Drake likes the access. The trash talk is just that it's not over the line here. The funny thing to me is a guy that makes such great music comes off as such a dork. He just seems like such a Dushi dork. No, he's still that guy from grassy. He's just Dushi. There's no other way to say it like I kinda cringe watching his behavior. It's I get it. You're, you're a fan and you know the guys but it just seems.

"I think it only reached certain test markets and it must not have done well there because we never heard about it again. Although do recall a time that I visited Kellogg cereal archives and had mentioned the original pop tarts currency real. And one of the people in the archives mentioned that they had tried to bring it back in twenty thirteen, but it didn't work out now. I thought it was just somebody bringing up in a meeting, but I think that's the the validity of this. Myth needs to become a reality. I mean, I'm on the sign up for it rusher I'm a soccer though. I'll take anything. I love to try that that mummified pop tart Serio though, does it in the sarcophagus fluid. "For our final segment, we kind of buried the lead with regards to recent serial news this week with with intention. We wanted to give it room to breathe, but some really, really exciting news. Pop tart cereal is on its way back. Oh, yeah, absolutely. I mean, you probably heard about it from all those listings sites that you know kind of crowd us little guys out of the front page by, you know, shouting it from the rooftops fares with their dimension keywords and all that. But that's beside the point. The point is that your favorite from nine hundred ninety four to nineteen ninety-five, serial champions pop tarts crunch in both strawberry and Brown sugar. Cinnamon are coming back. There dropping the crunch from their name in favor of pop tart, cereal, but the notion stands that BuzzFeed will be will be buzzing about this one for a long time. The original cereal for people that don't remember what? What were you looking at with those with those pieces? Yeah, they were kind of as little little square pillows. They roughing to amazing, but you know, people remembered the sort of bright packaging and the fact that this was a crazy unheard of at the time hybrid of two breakfast giants into one. It was only a miracle that we didn't get any cereal flavored pop tarts afterwards. I gotta admit, I'm a huge sucker for tiny foods, cereals, small doughnuts, small ice cream cones, small pop tarts. I love anything that feels like shrunk down version where I get to be a giant eating cereal. I'm a sucker for it. So you must love the toast crunch cereals, make little PBS Jay's I really love a much more the French toast cry crunch because it's very much seems like what it what it claims to be. It's like a tiny piece of French toast. I do. I love that. Yeah. When you call it strawberry toast crunch and you show me a slice of bread. A little bit of less of a direct connection. I guess they almost look like looking at old images and I know I had these. I was young, but heck would have been over twenty years ago. They almost look like crave which is all chocolate filled, but it looks like that same sort of idea like a biscuit with the filling in the middle. Yeah. That's funny story though. Because when they were announcing new serial flavors, someone has stumbled upon sort of testimony Cup of a small pop tart crunch cereal that we thought was actually going to come out. But until we realized that it had directly stolen the art and flipped it around from craves more Sierra which had been around a while back. But yeah, even the new pieces and do crave. Kind of probably has a direct home OSH to the original, but I have to wonder how the formula will stray from the the trickle crave model because it's pretty divisive in the cereal industry. Interestingly, I was just looking because reminded of another Syria. I remember hidden treasures in nineteen ninety three. So just like I guess the year before pop tart cereal was this sort of the corn biscuit of the corn square with a different icing, filling cheery orange in grape kinda similar similar vibe there. Yeah, it's kinda surprised me that the stuff cereal concept didn't take off more. 'cause there's kind of infinite like permutation, possibility there. Well, maybe this will start a new renaissance. You never know. I don't know. They did try to reboot pop, tart, cereal, just five years ago. Not a lot of people know about that. Actually. Really. Yeah. So in twenty thirteen, they tried to reboot pop tart, cereal. It didn't look anything like the original, though. The only one we know of wasn't strawberry and it looked kind of more like if you know crackling, oat, bran, like a red velvet version of those little hollow squares. The only reason I really know about it is because a cereal box collector friend of mine gave who runs a serial time YouTube channel where she should check out if you haven't, but he linked to this EBay listing for a test box of that serial that got sent out into regional markets, kind of a one of a kind select collectible that I had never seen before, and it just blew my mind. So not actually like released into the wild. Is that right or just the box was or it looked like the actual Syria was in there. Wow. But I couldn't tell for sure..

"Let's move onto our review. There are several new ones up on the site yet a guest, your view of Hardee's Carl's juniors. Fruit loops. Many doughnuts, definitely others. One from did sugar Catalina crunch, dark chocolate artisan the Ferriol, which is just a mouthful, a lot of protein, though, granted that, but you wanted to sorta take a deep dive on the Buffalo Wild Wings and Cap'n crunch is crunch berries blender, and this will likely be the first. And last time we discussed Buffalo Wild Wings, five of the Deibel, but what are we? What are we looking at here? Yeah, this is kind of an interesting summer for the cabin because he's had two frozen drinks. Come out. Both from totally different regions of the sort of slushy spectrum if you will. Because on one end you has seven elevens Cap'n crunch crunch berry slurpy which was pretty much liquefied Cap'n crunch syrup taken to absolute zero. It was potent, but not at all milky or anything. And but right around the same time, Buffalo Wild Wings sort of teased this Cap'n crunch crunch berries edition of their blender series, which they describe as kind of halfway between a drink and a dessert, and that. You know, it's a bit of a thinner milkshake. Typically, I think because you're smooth dilute it with alcohol usually, but they didn't advertise the Cap'n crunch berries one as featuring that. So I ended up trying both of them. It took me a while to actually get into Buffalo Wild Wings just because the thought of big-screen football is me a little nervous. Actional rational, well-founded concern. But I made my pilgrimage out there and you know, being the normal guy waltzed in there and asked for just one Cap'n crunch crunch berries, blender police, regular football fan and of here. Joe, your Buffalo Wild wing crunch berry blender. I heard I heard about crunching open a cold one with the boys, and I wanted to have one to join him. So the the nice bartender made one for us, and this was more much more of a legit milkshake sort of consistency, not quite to the level of the Burger King or steak and shake cereal milkshakes. There was like eight of them total that came out of the course of year up, but not as thick as those. But it had this fantastic color of just the most densely speckled crush crunch berries inside this ice cream. And I was very excited to see that it well upheld the cereal and milk flavor. You get from a solid bowl of Cap'n crunch. But I was surprised by just how much ice there wasn't. I wish for a little bit less of that. But you know, I guess holidays are on the way. So this seem like a this is going to be like a standard formulation. If people go into their own Buffalo Wild Wings, they're gonna have this exact same milkshake or was there some amount of like bartending that was happening with regards to its composition? Do you think? No, it seemed pretty simple to make. I think they are offering it at pretty much all of Haitians, but I would ex- fast because the bartender who made mine told me it was the first one she had ever made in the things out all summer. So as I said, yeah, probably not to order. At least not spiked with something. I had experience with some of these cereal milkshakes that have a little bit of an odd after taste to them for lack of a better term, kind of a either gritty or some those just like unpleasant filming after enjoying them. What was the like sort of whole experience like with with this bad boy, I think it kind of ended self in a much nicer fashion. I think the the sheer amount of whipped cream really helped give it that that creamy texture all the way through the very end. So it felt more like just eating sort of half melted ice cream than anything else. Once you clear the ice out of the way of sort of the the middle glacial layer, it becomes a lot better. And what about texture wise? Because I definitely when I had the he was lucky charms, milkshake, Burger King. Is that right? Memory macrey. Yeah, yeah, that was the had. I wouldn't expect you to remember that, but whether or not that's alright menu..

"I think that's a very weird vibe. Yeah, I can't really imagine any other combinations. Let alone in in like wintertime nature that could bring that to mind maybe like a shipwreck on a muddy beach. Right? It's yeah, it's not. It's just not festive. I mean, I guess it's festive in a in a sort of like. Hot cocoa meets blue. I don't know. It's like the Brown blue, which is weird. It doesn't put me in a in a sort of festive spirit, but I'm more mystified by the the marshmallow shapes because I'm pretty sure calling a market a snowball is one of the oldest cop outs in the book, but it's this supposed snowman marshmallow. That just seems I don't know. Very abstract in could be could be misinterpreted if you in the wrong lens. Yeah, it's just a little bit. It kinda slightly. It's both slightly phallic and looks like a mushroom. Neither which like puts me in a serial mood. I think I don't necessarily, and this is just me and I don't wanna get too controversial. It's hard. And I would like to know what you think is a somebody who writes and things a lot about serial. I can't get excited about new like marshmallow shapes. I, I really for me to to to. My interest. I really need like a new flavor that I have not enjoyed before. Where do you where do you shake out on that? Yeah, I'm surprised they haven't added more flavored marshmallows. But I mean when I think creative marshmallows and needs to be something like four dimensional that actually wiles me like the time that lucky charms hasn't remember those. Those key marshmallows that when you poured milk on them revealed the key cut out the keyhole. Yeah, I, I want more like that where you sort of pour the milk on it and it does something like for Christmas, you pour it on sort of chestnuts roasting over an open fire, burst out of it, some sort of holiday spectacle. You know, I'm Dan. I don't want to sort of second-guessed use the expert. I'm not sure that flaming chestnuts erupting out of my Ferriol balls. That's the -sarily experience I'm longing for, but I, I will great. You would be innovative for sure. Just just imagine how much it would save you on the gas Bill..

"Dan, what's what's? What's the news? What's the? What's the hot topic this week? Well, it's pretty crazy that I was still sweating my, I was still sweating my butt off earlier this morning while I was outside still bike riding because it's nice to do that. But I'm already receiving news that their holiday breakfast products heading shelves, and it's kind of like a thermal shock to my system to be feeling this way and eating another way. You know. That makes perfect sense. Yeah, I'm not. It doesn't even feel like really pumpkin spice weather and yet you know, here we are. We're, we're, we're leapfrogging pass that to the to the yuletide cereals. Yeah, I'm already still in in late s'mores season personally. The dog days of this Moore's. But I guess we'll skip right over pumpkins mice anyway, because despite my hope that caramel apple would finally shine this year, it had pretty much no representation against the dominating force of pumpkin spice. So I tend to like the holiday flavor pellet much better. Anyway, it's a lot less. Spicy, and I can't even handle. Cayenne or Saracho from time to time. Before we let go completely of the fall cereals and move into the holiday offerings. We didn't touch last time, I believe on cap. And what is what's? What's he up to for for Halloween this year? Do you know Cam crunches? Bringing back the same Halloween crunch boxes. I'm we've seen for maybe two to three years now, sort of Zomba fide cabin serving his pretty much just normal Cap'n crunch crunch berries flavored cereal, but it has these orange sort of radioactivity green died. Ghosts varies instead that turned the milk green. So while it's a little disappointing that they didn't sort of reanimate the box art, so to speak. It's still pretty dang, good cereal because you know it's the same when we've been having for years, but colored milk. So with that out of the way, would we what we have for the holidays. So so far we've seen some early hitters. I'm hoping these are sort of just the early ebbs of the league. So here to come because we've got chocolate a winter lucky charms, which sounds and looks pretty familiar. We've seen a couple of people now spotted in the the family size boxes at WalMart, which you know if you start now on those, you could probably end by Christmas with the way they pack them. There. But it looks a little familiar because just last year we got two serials from general mills that look similar. It was the cinnamon vanilla lucky charms which were pretty Lowy low flavored, but it was okay because they were paired with hot cocoa cocoa puffs, which is just so hard to say in comparison that everybody probably bought lucky terms anyway. But now it seems like general mills, instead of, you know, creating the gingerbread, lucky charms that I've been asking for since at least childhood. Before I could even talk. I was kind of motioning for it at times, but. Instead of doing that, they cut their losses in sort of spliced the last two years serious together and gave us this chocolate lucky charms with holiday shape marshmallows that you know pretty much just lucky terms chocolate lucky charms anyway. Now by looking at a the box art of this Syria, Syria, late dot net. And I have to say, I'm not loving the Brown cereal with the blue marshmallows..

"You have to have a laptop that can display three monitors that released depended on the video card and its capabilities and then you don't wanna use a splitter because that's not it's not going to see all three monitors to laptop needs to see all three monitors for you to be able to correctly distribute the content to the monitor you wanted to the spiders confusing it because those two monitors look like one monitor i think to the laptop so you want yeah what what kind of splitter is it it's a sig i i g for k by two k hd my reports splitter yeah so what i think that's doing i mean you could do it if it were splitting the data but what it's doing really is saying oh you want one hdmi visible on two different screens that's that's what it's doing so it's just the wrong device you probably don't have enough ports on your laptop to drive three monitors i take it that's why you're using the splitter correct yeah so you need not a hdmi splitter because that's that's just that's that's sick is designed to take one hd signal say from a blu ray player and played on two different tv's and so from the point of view of your computer there's just one tv what you need is something that that will what what do you have on the laptop you have hdmi out just one thing you have.
