"One neighborhood. And I'm on as well, wondering who's going to pick up the mount John Velasquez does not have a mountain that race. He has the same agent as Joel Rosario. Maybe it'll be him. Tyler gaffe Leon is in New York tomorrow. He, of course, rides horses for Chad Brown, maybe he'll pick up the mount so there are other very capable riders in the room. I agree. I think xan is the horse to beat. Chad Brown has come out and print and basically said that this horse he thought was a router all along. I think he would just thought it was kind of icing on the cake that he was able to win in his debut going 6 furlongs, somewhat unexpected. He expects him to be better going long. I expect him to be better going long. If he's as good long as he was short, I think he's going to win. And if you got 5 to two, I think that's a fair price. I think number one modon ago and number two, it's spelled who that's me, but I'm wondering if it's supposed to be woohoo, that's me. They both have shots in this race and I would use them in exotics as well. But like you, Dave, I'm going to go to number 7 xand in second choice on the morning line 5 to two in the grade two ramps in race 8 tomorrow at aqueduct. 9th race on the aqueduct card is the grade two quarter $1 million demoiselle, the two year old Philly is going to try a mile in an 8 on the main track. And we've got a field of 8, including the second and third place finishers from this year's tempted stakes, magic circle and nest. And those are really the only two I like in here. Maybe Kristoff Clements tap the faith has a chance one a maiden race last time out. But I thought that that tempted was pretty good. And it was magic circle who finished second and nest who was third. And I think they're both going to run well in this spot. I just feel like nest for Todd pletcher and and Todd has won this race 6 times, including with last year. This horse wants longer is going to get longer and I expect to run really, really well. I think she's a good one and I think nest is probably a likely winner. Okay, I'm gonna go the other way. Magic circle finished in front of nest last time out. I see no reason that you can't do that once again. She's gonna be a better price than nest, so I'm gonna try magic circle as my key 7 to two on the morning line. I'm not so ridiculous that I wouldn't use nest in this spot. She obviously is very dangerous. Other one I'm going to use in here is a bit of a screwball. Number 8 full count Felicia for Chad summers and Tyler gaffe Leone. She has raised three times in New York all on the turf, and her last two starts were very, very good. Speed figure wise, if she can duplicate her turf efforts trying the main track, she actually has a little shot in this race, and she is somehow 30 to one on the morning line. I'm kind of playing the odds here. If she was listed at somewhere around three to one on the morning line, I'd be betting against at 30 to one on the morning line. Boy, you don't have to bet a whole lot to make a good money if you're right with her. So I'm going to use full count Felicia as well. But number 7 magic circle on top for me, nest on top for Dave in the grade three debt or rather great two demoiselles race 9 tomorrow at aqueduct. We're going to take a break when we come back. We will close out the aqueduct card with the featured race, the grade one cigar mile and go north of the border for a couple of good stakes at woodbine. "Is Bloomberg. We're so glad you're with us for this holiday edition of Bloomberg Daybreak. The markets are closed for the Labor Day holiday. Let's continue our conversation on Tech now, Wedbush analyst Dan Ives is back with us and Dan we want to turn to two of the biggest mega cap names you cover Microsoft and Apple. For Microsoft. It's really been all about the cloud, hasn't it? It's been a cloud transformation story, and it's It's really unlike anything that I've seen intact, called the last 20. Plus years covering these stocks. What Nadella has done a Microsoft is really turn the company around. And you've seen massive re rating of the stock. And this is a trillion dollar market opportunity where they're narrowing that sort of lead that Amazon had in cloud and you're seeing in the growth numbers, and that's why we believe this is a stock that continues to move higher. It's just been a massive renaissance of growth and Redmond for Microsoft. How does the return to work story affect Microsoft? Whether it comes to cloud or its office software suite? Yes, I think it's been a bit Almost quoting this number may be thrown in the wrong bucket. Having many viewed come and add of the Dark stage of the pandemic. The Microsoft as a pull forward growth story, and you start to see the stock almost on a treadmill but totally happens since, and we've seen it play out the last few quarters, and I believe it's going to continue playing on 2022. This cloud stories only a third of the way through from Microsoft. And even though there was obviously some pull forward, you're also you're actually seeing what the digital transformation stories Expand scale and school that's bullish for azure and also is bullish for office 3 65. They're also adding a price increase in the subscription side, which we thing was long overdue that adds another $5 billion talent. Microsoft Right now, and they continue just being a massive position and strength and that's why the stock continues to move higher because when you look on the other side of this in terms of cloud, they continue to really be the share winner. So do you see Microsoft and azure taking cloud share in the market away from the big elephant in the room in this market, Amazon and Amazon Web services. And and clear with jazzy and, of course, business do with Amazon really changed. The industry that you could argues really changed the nature of computing power? But Microsoft caught up significantly and I think it's really start to become a bit of a two horse race. But you have also seen Google and IBM come up recently as well in terms of showing strength, and this is not just one winner to Rajan cars going to lift a bunch of boats here in terms of the trillions being spent. But I do believe in terms of narrowing the gap. First Amazon that cross town rival on the Tour six area could they have done a great job? And that's something it's criminals of the aways are focused on that, especially with jazzy Now not just focus on AWS. But of course, running the the whole company's CEO taking over for business we can We miss the Puget Sound Just a little bit there, Dan. Thanks for that. Finally want to turn to apple. You know, over the last decade of Tim Cook's leadership, it seems like his imprint on the company just doesn't stop. He's had the Golden touch. You know when when you think about the shoes. That he had a feel of jobs. It was really something and think many view that was almost going to be a massive up hill. Bad on what cooks done between innovation, the upgrade cycle that we've seen with iPhones super cycle playing out. Five g. But also navigating the China issue. I mean, you'll get as US China cold Tech war I mean, Apple is really sort of been the poster child caught in the middle of both from a supply perspective. Funeral iPhone production out of China Those of demands about 20% of demand yet it's with flying colors that they've come through. And that's why we believe as we go into 2022. This has potential be a $3 trillion market cap. This super cycle continues to play out services, the modernization of course, his regulatory risk, but we continue seeing big tech. But what we're seeing with Apple right now is really remarkable in terms of what we've seen a lot of that his credit to cook for everything he's done in Cupertino, when you talk about the idea of a $3 trillion market cap, even just a few months down the line doesn't that just sort of make the target on Apple's back when it comes to the threat of regulation, even that much bigger? Clearly, I mean, we've even seen him with Korea and where it started from the regulatory going after feeds for Apple and Google, and you're going to see more and more scrutiny within the Beltway as well as Brussels, and I think part of it is coming out of pandemic. Strong, strong, earn big tack. I think you will start to see some regulatory focus. The question is going to be with a lack of consensus in D. C. Is it just finds or regulatory changes? And I think right now, as long as there is a lack of consensus, the streets going to interpret that as sort of a bullish signal. Especially when you have some things that the epic lawsuit and other more and more scrutiny of Apple's APP store not continues to be the crown jewel, part that $70 billion Year services business. Thanks for this great talking check with you, as always. Thank you, Wedbush analyst Dan Ives with us on this special Labor Day edition of Bloomberg. Daybreak and straight ahead, We'll.

"Begin out of the gate with a look at the saturday race of the day. Let's throw up the field for the great one jockey club gold cup. We're going a mile and a quarter on saratoga main track and you can download free formulator past performances on the race of the day event. Page drroof.com also you can get the expanded stakes video preview of the jockey club gold cup and all the other graded stakes races all weekend. Long at video dot com or the daily racing form youtube channel. Last year's jockey club winner is in the lineup. that is happy saver back to defend his crown. The suburban winner of twenty max player third and last year's travers in belmont. He's here a speedy horse down on. The inside is forced to dro a very strong supporting cast. Let's see who mike and david like on. Top in the junky club gold cup. I don't know how interesting this jockey club. Gold cup is from wagering perspective. It doesn't feel like there. Are that many different ways to go ashore field. I'm gonna take down on the rallies the morning line favorite. I guess at the end of the day you could say. He has much more to prove than either of the other two short prices in here match. Play or super saver Certainly that's probably the case but this source just looks like he's shown this kind of potential basically right from the start always felt like he was headed towards races like this. He just had trouble staying on the track. He came back to lay off last time with a really impressive win over what turned out to be very solid allowance field and other triple digit buyer for him. It feels like he could be forward in this race where there's not that much for him to have to deal with. I'm just gonna take him in. Yeah i'm not gonna sit here. Suggest some kind of great belt if he does go favored. But i don't love the recent form of super sabre since he's come back from the layoff I didn't really want matchplay to regain this time. I've been chasing the doors for a while. He finally paid off at a good price when he won the suburban. I'll try to beat those two horses this time with four zero.

"Up on you are back with the mark and Rob Show. We gotta talk about Get her get her G E t T E R. It's the newest social media platform. Everybody was freaking out yesterday because everyone was like, Oh, my God. This is Trump's new social media platform that we've been. There's been so much build up about. Well, it turns out, I don't even know if Trump is going to be on this platform. It was actually started by his former spokesman, Jason Miller. But it is getting a lot of attention. Um, they advertise their mission. Statement is fighting cancel culture, promoting common sense defending free speech, challenging social media monopolies and creating a true marketplace of ideas. Uh, the official official launch even though you can get on it right now, and I know people are signing up and getting their little profile set up. The official launch is the fourth of July at 10 A.m.. So it was interesting because I immediately went to it. Of course, I was curious and I went to go create an account because I was like, Well, chicks on the right needs to be on there, right. I go to create an account and it says that my handle at chicks on right is reserved. Oh, it's already reserve and then it gives me an option of claiming said Handle, which I have every intention of doing right as it is. Hours. Yes. So I go to claim it. And it says Put in your email address and your password and I was like, Okay, and I'm assuming it's my email address and password for Twitter. Because it says it can pull your tweets and stuff it can cross pollinate. And then it says this this cannot be. I can't do this. Like this function is not working right now. The service is unavailable. Right? So I have no idea what to make of it. Or if the chicks on the right account that is eventually going to be out there is actually gonna be mine. So I think, by the way, I don't know what get her stands for. I've been looking and looking trying to find out. No idea. Sounds like my dating philosophy in the mid two Thousands. Get her, uh, the the issue that conservatives have to you're always said we will go. Well, why don't you just start? Why don't you It's like taking a Coke and Pepsi, Twitter and Facebook have a 15 year head start their their their Kleenex. You know that the Kleenex of social media after band aid, So it's not just that easy to just go because even if all the conservatives went over there, it doesn't matter. You're talking about a world wide. Organization there, bill literally billions of people on these apps to losing 30 million conservatives doesn't matter. We saw it happened before all the conservatives left. Look at all the You know the Twitter purge. All the followers you are doesn't matter to them. They don't They don't care. They're a worldwide brand, so it's going to take something. Uh, probably from the the thing that would have the biggest impact is that that section 2 30 got got repealed. If they were told you are a you are a utility. Well, not a utility, but you're because they're always get this reverse their e platform acting as a publisher. And they're using their platform protection for all the various, uh, benefits that they get yet they're censoring free speech. It would take an act of the government and it doesn't mean that they need do anything They're not supposed to be doing. The government just needs to look at them and say Pick one. You gotta pick a lane. But the Democrats certainly aren't going to do that, because they're an arm of the Democrat party, so they're going to boast and they're going to talk, and they're gonna say we're gonna break up big deck. They really don't want to do that. The Republicans had the opportunity to do that when they had all branches of government, But a lot of the Republicans don't want to take them on either. So until that happens, you're stuck. So are you going to get on ghetto? Oh, You're not. I didn't even want to do Instagram. You made me do Instagram. So there's not going to be a mark and rob show. Get her If you want to do it fine. You can get all you want to get on together. I just want someone to tell me what that stands far. I did the parlor and within two weeks I went all that effort to set it up. Well, they're shut down. I'm not doing that again. You should be doing Are you saying that you haven't been par? Liying? Nobody else has either. I didn't know if people parley who all the people we get No messages about parlor anymore. We used to get a hold. No. No. Because the point is it fair. You had the shot. It failed that something will happen with this. Coke and Pepsi. You gotta pick one. RC Cola was great. It didn't make it. You can't get RC Cola. You can buy it in Walmart. Okay, well, then they made it but Coca Pepsi part of business. Then they made it. So that's our standard. Are you puttering along? Are you a relay tower in the middle of the New Mexico desert? Well, I'm just saying there are RC Cola fans. Who? Yeah, There's some fans, but there are sea coal is not making a dent or a difference. Tab. There's another one. We all love tab didn't make it. I don't think I've ever had attacked. Really. I don't think I have is tabs to. I think I think they brought tab back. Yeah, it disappeared for a long time, and I think they brought it back Tab was the original Diet Cola. Wow. Tab. Yeah, That's right. I do remember being the original original. Before there was Diet Coke or Pepsi. Or there was there was 10 original Diet Cola. And then I think when my point I made my point. Even mean to win the big guys that we're going to get into that field. What happened Tablet away? Yeah, That's mean you've got you've got to reform the entity or walk away from the entity together. This idea that you're going to create some giant there's not enough people that would be interested. It's just not It's a two horse world right now. Sorry. Wow. That's, which is why I'm getting a flu. Gotta get a flip phone and just walk away from all this. It doesn't matter not ever going to do that. So you just need to stop saying it by the way, if you're listening right now, and you're very much looking forward to rob ranting about our governor That is happening on today's show. And you're going to get a double dose because the state Party chair Kyle Huff for put out something yesterday. That was so Offensive, absolute offensive and every police officer in the state.

What would work best for you where your customers are and You know it started back at the beginning with research. And i mentioned to you the other day that i was never a big fan of a company that came in and similar yours came into our company and tried to do market segmentation with us and do the research on who our customers really work until they came back with the results and then i was floor. I was like this is awesome. This is our you know. This is the people that buy from us. And yeah we have all these other people that buy from us but diesel the core group that has really are critical based customer. We can't lose this crowd and this who we need to design our ads for. And i i i've been a built it into my training. A as part of that is to figure out at whatever level you are in the company. It's not just for the ceo's and the vp of marketing. But no who. Your customers are and do that research. I think is is phenomenal. Because too many people try to go out here and capture customers. That aren't aren't listening. There aren't there. Aren't there the company that designed for those or they can't sustain a financially by selling. You know i call them the two-horse accounts of that's not your customer base. "Buddy Dalton Miller from 1:05 through the fan and you can also catch his work and the pro football network draft stuff. You still have blue chip scouting as well. I used to work with them. So I own it, but I don't work on it to anything with your delegate. I have delegated it completely. All I do is that when new guys join office, they asked me they say hey can we get him joined up and then I have to get into the the website in Squarespace and send them the permission to be able to work on the site wage. So and so that's literally all I do I even paid they started doing merch I didn't know about it. They started doing merch and I bought a sweatshirt the company that I own. All right. Well if you want to buy a sweatshirt go to Blue Chips county.com Dalton, let's talk about the draft. It's just a few weeks away. Who do you have your eye on for the Cowboys and not just at 10 but just in general who are guys that you're like, okay, these are guys that could fall into them at any round that you like. Yeah. So I think that's the guy that I'm most, you know, kind of excited about being there for the Cowboys specifically in around 2, because I think in round one, there's actually a lot of possibilities pain a soul might actually somehow faithful to the Dallas Cowboys. Really you think so, yes. So there's kind of a two-horse race there if Cincinnati stupidly in my opinion goes with jamarr Chase over. So Panic, so then in in that instance, so the only other real option most likely is Carolina. What about Atlanta at 4? You don't think Atlanta goes for how long they could but Atlanta's offensive line is actually not too too bad and they've spent a bunch of assets there. I think Atlanta might go met might be the team for Kyle pads is Atlanta Atlanta. Also just go for quarterback and get Matt Ryan's future replacement. And for that specifically I think that's a good spot for trail ants but if he doesn't go to one of those two teenage any should but there's a real possibility that he doesn't there's also just a real possibility that the NFL likes the the Comfort level that were Sean Slater brings over the upside of panic. So and now I think appendix was already a better player than Rashawn Slater is but Rashawn Slater's got a very transparent floor and it's very very dead. Hi, and so the the words you're going to get with Rashawn Slater is a very good guard at the NFL level and somebody who I think can play tackle too. Pretty high level. I don't think he's ever get a top, you know, five left hand full in the NFL or top-five right tackle, but I think you can be you know in that six to ten range consistently but pending sought 10:00 is the name that I'm kind of circling for the Cowboys off at 44. It's not our Just run a month earlier but it's quality came back strongly. I liked about his race. Was that you'd never trained originally breezed at the oakland or race there and it was an off track and none of that matters to him Brand strong and i thought he had even a little more positional speed than shown in his In his race as last year. So as to me as good a return as you would want and you'll have one more crap by famine officially announced where he's going but i just can't imagine he'd go anywhere other than the blue grass stakes to wins over that track and four weeks out from the derby and just down the road from there. So that's why we bluegrass down for his next start because that's where we anticipate him going As great as honor. I don't know what to make of the race. 'cause on the far turn. I thought he was getting nothing and then he reengaged wanted. He was so much the best by time it got to the wire that those air cheese wrapping up on them I think it was a combination of him. Finishing well The wieder stopping wasn't a strong field. But i also think he's just warmed up at that distance and he's going to be much better going out to the florida derbys mile nathan the kentucky derby smile and a quarter so It wasn't as impressive to me. Visually is what essential quality did. But i think when you put it in the context of what he's going to be best at it was. It was a good solid effort with room to improve for a traitor. Who will get more out of him a quick note. I mean we heard for from show the other day for. We actually had a wonderful forty-five minutes but one thing that i think is an interesting sidebar to the win. J. should be gay. He's been training. I don't know forty years. And he's got three fountain of youth winds in the last nine years. None before that. I it just it to me. It's kind of interesting about how his you know how he has. Reinvented and plus. He's you know added Some outside clients As as the phipps operation is more and I just am so impressed with everything with his whole approach. It's about either great trainer. I don't. I don't know that i don't know that. He's changed his way of doing things. Steve i think i think now as throughout his career he plays the hand dealt right has if he has a forward kind of two year old early three year. Old he's gonna go on with it and if it's horse it's going to need more time. He doesn't try and force a square peg around whole now. Well put and you know and and even even when you you go back to the that that period of time let's call it. You know ten years ago. Eight nine years ago where he had that spate of of turf horses and any made the most of them Right yeah data link Ironic is it just a boisterous. He just the amazing to me Let's let's dive in jay and work our way toward santa anita starting to york and then tampa with your derby watch thoughts well New york would be the gotham. And there's two horses in that race that are part of our derby. Watch top twenty. They being highly motivated and and freedom fighter And they look like they're the two best horses in the race highly motivated. I liked his race at keeneland last fall when the nyquist the he's being managed as though they're not quite certain that he's going to be a kentucky derby kind of horse. This'll be the first time he's gone beyond six and a half furlongs And it's only now two months out from the kentucky derby that he's getting back to the races after being off since early november so he's had a nice long break here i think he's equality cold as i do with freedom fighter the question with both of these and is not going to be answered tomorrow as their aptitude going longer And i know regarding freedom fighter. There's the real belief in the barn that he's not going to be cut out to be a derby horse compared to some of the others that the barn has so But i i like freedom. Fighters comeback race in the san vicente lot off for a long time and he was inside of concert tour and said what i think are quicker fractions than are in the official chart and he went down Without a fight with a fight he he really put up a fight. I should say To concert tours a high class horse. So there's gonna be one of the top two choices next week. I think in the In the rebel. So it's a two horse race. It's pretty chalky but I think they are much the best of of this group and the rest of them. In here i think are a cut below including kappa. Cain Who i thought his jerome was.

Steve forty-five minutes forty years next week two months tomorrow york last year early november two horses a month earlier ten years ago two horse New york first time J. both three year four weeks san vicente

"Horse as well And it connects back to the center of gravity. Right over the weather's so that's kind of like a piston that that helps bring a horse along when it's being driven from Behind in and when you have a horse in a good rain that collected balanced. They're not as likely to take misstep. You're not going to fast. They're not going to slow Their breathing well. they're relax. It's a happy horse. And that's what this game's about having a happy course well and again not not to get into a rabbit hole on on this topic but to again reiterate why this is important and what the benefits can be and and particularly when horses go from varnay to barnaby or down the road the barn c and d. That what you just talked about. With the balance this is into a conversation about soreness and horses that get off in you know in one of the limbs and are dealing with you know whatever whatever problem might have been triggered this is all a balancing act that starts starts in the mouth and then goes down to the hooves the angle of the hooves and the way horses hitting and essentially it all contributes to soundness and two horse going from being sore going and not operating optimally on the racetrack to feeling good and without aid of of any any other product Just now a horse is feeling better than he had under a different set of controls and a different set of of experience. And you really you can't. You can't stress this enough you know how integral all of this is you know. The total horse management essentially And you know. This is something that i i. Nobody placing a bet is thinking about per se but behind the scenes all of these working parts from from the dentist and the exercise writer and the trainer experimenting with the headgear. Ferrier making decisions about the angles of the hooves and the length of the hooves and all works together It exactly and if you have a horse that out refrain or going to you. Know when they without a frame they can be loading their hind in and throwing their weight behind them.

"To trust to me. Because you have connections that have made zero prior for as in new york It's a totally new game for them. I generally have taken a more critical approach of these. However i have to admit as much of a new york racing fan as i am the the dirt product. Even though it's better this winter is not what it was five ten years ago when you can take courses like this and really approached them critically so i think she's a she's a threat on the winning end and I think is a horse that you have to use. I wanted to try and get a little creative with eden hill. Whose single interchange to mary. Lee's coffee i thought didn't have the greatest of trips last time being a little bit very down inside and getting the jockey changed louise carquinez who of course engineered that upset and the opening leg of the cross country. Pick five last week. I thought she had a little bit of appeal. I'm gonna use both of them I i'm not gonna go particularly narrow here. I think this is a really tricky race us. L. rela shortening up from the the miles of the seven eight. I'm not gonna use her lassie as a user as a backup. And and i i like the broberg quick turn angle. I think that last week was really when fair lassie was supposed to get the job done and she did. I think negotiating an off the pace trip from the inside post could get a little tricky. So i'm definitely gonna use her as a backup. I'll probably end up. Having used the entries a backup as well. It's just a racer meet. It's really hard to narrow down. I agree with the inclusion or the interest in in chatham hill an lorella from ryerson. yeah and then. The the next is tampa Trying to go order. The first of the the three stakes tampa that are being offered in the cross country. Five is the suncoast which i think is a two horse race on paper. I'm going to bet it as such.

"I for back on coast to coast with carbohydrate. Ltn running in from kansas city. Good have you with us this afternoon. High always breaking stories. We lost a really good basketball game than i know. Tennessee and vanderbilt tonight. We've got covert issues there so that game will not be played made up at a later date postponed etc. We will get tonight's games. We do have a top ten game as well michigan and wisconsin. But before we get there. I needed to go scotty. To the big picture to the entire big ten and let's take a look at the fan duel odds to win the big ten as they stand right now. So many good teams in this conference michigan plus one fifty five iowa plus two forty wisconsin plus three ten illinois six to one who was probably precedes favorite ohio state. Twenty five to one and indiana thirty two one along with the minnesota gophers michigan state at the back of the pack at thirty five to one of the big ten. It's really good. Is this year scotty. Well a lot of these names are going to go to the nc double a. tournament. That's for sure but in my opinion it's a two horse. Rates here would michigan in iowa. I think you're gonna see michigan either. Chrysler i've been talking about it on this show for a couple of weeks how. They moved the ball how they dribble drive. And how they get laughs second ditches and dives bounce passes and wrap around pats to their bigs for easy high-percentage dunks move the ball and get good. Looks and take good shots more than any team in the big ten. The only team that can go toe to toe with in terms of consistency in the block is with guards in iowa this iot pastor potential to win the big ten because of him. I'm concerned about the rest of the team's sloppy at times shooting bad decisions. But they're big they're long and they can rebound and one. I don't think they're athletic and physical. It's michigan but garth. I don't think there's any one frankly in the big topic and stop luca guards from doing whatever he wants. Every single night was starting to top team but he had him by the throat in that town and blew the game they lost in double overtime illinois already proven that they keep losing big games. Indiana minutes outta michigan state season over already. They'll go to the tournament. They're not winning anything out on that. Let's go do the same thing now with the acc. Because duke hasn't been very good so far they've had some close winds. North carolina clearly is down this year very wide. Open the fan. Do lots to win. The acc duke. The favourite along with virginia plus three fifty florida state plus four fifty louisville plus five fifty along with tech clemson and north carolina. At six to one. Scotty and you could forget about georgia tech at thirty two one. Well listen. There's people asking duke and north carolina. Make the ansi aa tournament. Let alone when the acc. Forget about it. When i look at this pack of walt. I'm looking at florida state. Louisville and virginia and i've not seen enough of virginia to sit here and act like i can say they're going to win the conference but i have watched hamilton stein. I liked lord. St louis both been very solid. They gotta show me more though arrest posters. I think clemson's been interesting for scherer. They certainly play better at little giant than on the road About once again. Do i can't even fathom what i'm looking at deutz dot absolutely nothing.

Covid-19 vaccine: First person receives Pfizer jab in UK

"Well. Biontech and pfizer's landmark coronavirus vaccine has been given to the first person in the uk as part of a mass immunization program. The uk's vaccine roll it is being watched keenly across the rest of the world has other countries begin. Prepare to vaccinate their own populations for the latest on this. Let's talk to our health and science correspondent. Dr chris smith. Chris is also consultant for all the gist at cambridge university. I good afternoon. Chris tyler so i guess So far so good at least we have. We have a soundbite already. We had at the top of the program from this ninety year old woman. Who's been there the first to be to vaccinated chris last week. We saw a little bit of Chest thumping on the part of some politicians the uk saying look. This is great The uk is steaming ahead. How eagerly he would you say not. Just the immediate neighbors across this side of the channel but around the world are going to be watching. What are they going to watching. Forty you think over the coming days and weeks as this rolls out well think it will be a confidence boost to those other countries because no one likes to be i they unless it's a shorty. A dead cert. There's always some risk with any kind of intervention. And this is no different. So having a regulator a regulator that's world renowned the jewelry the medicines and healthcare products regulatory agency. Which is the. Uk's regulator which prior to just having jurisdiction over the uk walls prior to the brexit transition kicking providing that service for the whole of europe. Now europe does that through the ama it. It gives a precedent that other countries can look to and say right. Okay one fairly ferry. Big actor has gone ahead with this nathan. It's good therefore we're happy to Gives us some confidence too. So i think that there's always that aspect to it and it's coming good for the uk in the sense that it saying here we are. We've had a pretty rough time with this. But now some some fantastic triumph of sciences kicked in and we're about to start deploying this across the country and we're gonna we're gonna protect our outpatients. We have this type of approval from a respected Player how much do agencies elsewhere of course within the eu and obviously similar bodies all over the world. how much does it short circuit For them as you said. It establishes a precedent And does that mean that you have you know days or weeks then knocked off the process. Of course he. I'm sitting here in switzerland. Obviously a lot of talk as well about of course is also on the uk as well so does it actually then really prevent And and and and you do you have a moment where you have a real series of time locked off. They'd process well. The europeans are considering this through the jurisdiction of the ems the european medicines agency but the uk is still subject to a you know and in the uk is used one particular rule which is a regulation one seven four which is a specification for in public health crisis. Or emergency you can. Emergency approved something for use in your particular jurisdiction so the nhra has used that to approve this for the uk. Any other country in europe could've done the same thing so it's quite interesting that they've actually decided to white on a broad overarching decision from the a. But it doesn't matter. Who your regulator is they have to meet the same checks and balances. Because at the end of the day they all the gateway between a manufactured product and the public who going to receive it and it's on their neck that the decision rests so then going to say a will. They did it so we'll kind of ignore with this stuff would just sign it off. They are going to apply wherever they are in the world the same rigorous checks that they would apply whether or not someone else regulated something but it does help to give them confidence and he gives them a bit more political impetus when they see that. Another major regulator has taken a product which is also going to be wheeled out in that particular country and said well you know what's good enough is enough the ganda over the past few weeks. Of course astrazeneca moderna in this case. Biontech visor they. They've all been popping up in the headlines. Chris and of course various speeds that of course these approval processes have been working at now. We have three vaccines. We're we're now told her that there might also now be a fourth which is very much in play might be getting closer to approval. How different are all of these in terms of effectiveness and and do they all function largely the same way or do you. Also because obviously many countries that are hedging their purchasing all of them. Am i going to be particularly concerned. In a couple of weeks. If if i choose to get the moderna vaccine versus the astrazeneca versus the by pfizer one. In fact i think the uk has go options in on seven different vaccines and yes. You're right three of them are nearing the finishing nine in the uk but there are many others waiting in the wings around the world. There are ten different types of vaccine the work in ten different types of ways or being generated a more than forty and now in advanced stages of clinical trials. So pretty soon. We're going to have more vaccines than we can shake a stick at up to a point. That's a good thing and it's a good thing because not vaccines are going to be suitable for all people not vaccines are going to be available to all people not vaccines are going to work in all territories and what i mean by. That is if we take the fiso vaccine as an example. This needs to be kept at minus seventy degrees until five days or so before you're going to use all nine hundred and seventy five doses that are in batch and i've just seen a letter go from medical director saying can we make sure that we we use all nine hundred seventy five days in a within the five days so that we don't waste any of this very precious vaccine. Now that's going to be no use whatsoever in some countries where they don't even have a stable. Electricity supply let alone a stable minus eighty degrees freezer. So therefore having lots of options is a powerful thing also We don't know what the long term outcomes with these vaccines against be. We know that they provide pretty high level of protection but short after the vaccination program is finished in other words in in the weeks to a month or so. The person's completed the vaccine course. They're protected with the fis vaccine to the level of about nine hundred ninety five percent. But what happens in five months. What happens in a year. we don't know. And it may well be that other products that come along are able to confer a longer term protection. They might confer a big boost if you give one of those on top of one of the other products. This is a learning process. We're going to be sort of going through this process as time goes on an. It's always good to have more options. Where this sort of things concerned. If if your project yourselves twelve months twenty four months out do you think we also end up in a place because of because of cost because of stability many other things that they're only going to be potentially to vaccines. Is that the way things often go. The other ones might be effective but they might be too expensive as you said they might be too volatile and they fall by the wayside. I so i guess what i'm getting at. Will there sort of a clear winner in all of this in terms of one of the players and obviously the concoction that that ends up within the syringe. Well it's hard to say. I mean you know it's like niels bohr. Who is the forefather of quantum mechanics. Said prediction is very difficult especially when it concerns the future. But it's it's going to be very hard to know because we don't know what the long term outcome with these agencies. They are expensive. These genetic vaccines that pfizer. Madonna offering all pricey the astra zeneca vaccine. Which is still sitting with the regulator here in the uk. At the moment that one will be much cheaper and is also much easier to deploy and store so that there are pros and cons of all these things and it may not come down to simply a case if this one does this and this one does this therefore two horse race. I think we will definitely be a market for a few of these products whether or not. That market's going to be sufficient to sustain all forty plus of the clinical trials that are going on now but but certainly while the world is rushing to get this stuff in sufficient volume. Because that's the issue at the moment the companies just can't push it out the door fast enough the moment it's any partner storm so people are desperate to access whatever vaccine they can as fast as they can and just before we go chris any sense. When you're maybe discussing with your medica- medical call leaks. What the uptake is is going to be. I was talking to a doctor at the university hospital here in zurich the other day his defense was that you know probably just within the hospital owned probably fifty percent of the staff. You know would not be interested in taking the vaccine. Is that sort of a a pretty good gauge. In terms of how the public will look at this. Or if you're not in the medical trenches all day maybe you're going to be keener to take it any any house view from your side. I'm sensing quite a degree of what we dub vaccine hesitancy based on the questions that are coming into various radio programs on participating in basic enquiries from members of the general public and if you look at the day to this come out of the pew research center in america have been running a number of population surveys in the states and originally that was very alarming showed that fifty percent of people would reject a vaccine offered one at that point in time. They recently repeated that survey found that in fact the uptake had risen to fifty from fifty to sixty percents so in other words forty percent. Turn it down. But that's still forty percent. Turn down right now in the uk. We think it's probably going to be Less than that but at the same time still a significant proportion of people are uncertain citing rapid production very rapid approval. As a reason for concern. I do think this is largely going to take care of itself though because what will happen is that because of the way in which these vaccines are being rolled out to high priority high risk groups. I with a trickle down into the younger echo lonzo society over time by the time many of the people who live in countering who is saying. I'm nervous about this. Come to be offered a vaccine. It will have actually been through a very significant proportion of other people and that may well have in still quite a bit confidence into people are safe track record by then so i think it may be one of those short term problems. The actually takes care of itself. That's what i'm hoping anyway. Chris thanks very much for that. That was monocled health and science. Dr chris smith.

"Wants twenty. Twenty borrowing took place today in sakir circuit. There's max stop into the win but the race was really overshadowed by a horrifying crash. Perhaps driver rugova. We survived his car bursting into flames of being sentenced barriers on that one following contact with alfred driver via the race was red flagged immediately after the accident and thankfully it soon emerged that grows have been able to escape. The inferno is being treated by the f. as medical crew. You played a vital part. And he's escape from the fire. Gordon was taken to the track's medical center and was then airlifted hospital from which he was assessed to suffered no broken bones but does have burns to his hands and ankles goes without saying we wish him well in his recovery and express our sincere relief at seeing him survived the accident after delay of one hour and twenty minutes is the barriers were repaired actually replace concrete blocks the race restarted with another great start. The second stint was the biggest moment of danger of hamilton match. Step up in space on the hearts or looking after he'd softer mediums. They both ended up on the hard after their second stops after which for stopping closed in despite his own stop being a slow one but he never got within three seconds of the mercedes driver up from rebel in fact opted to pit the doctrine for a third time. Taking his eleventh win of the campaign album completed the podium so joining me to discuss all of that and more tonight motorsport dot dotcoms f. one editor noble or tie sports. Fm reporter leaks and keep racing's executive editor. Stuart coddling now is gonna come to you first because you and i were in pretty constant throughout the early stages of that racist so trying to piece together what was going on once. We need that. Romain grosjean was all right. We try not. That's make sure. I raced on facebook dot com dot com accuracy. Accurate as it could be when it comes. I just just if you don't mind you could. You could talk us through the first thought and ended up the crash at the end of it. I could almost look through a transcript of whatsapp messages. Couldn't i is Yeah it wasn't very pleasant work actually a a not particularly nice to at the time given that we began the price s Before we knew what happens actually to out and before we okay we were starting to pick over some of the details leading up to the accident and and like you say it's it's one of those shunts is an accumulation of snow events and people doing things that builds towards a conclusion and and it does start with valerie. Batas having a slough guess away. He seemed to get away. When the lights went out he go to wipe perfectly well but then in the second phase acceleration not so much He wasn't the person off. Com was slough away was passed by morrison and gas lay album perez and then ricardo got passed batas. And that just meant that. You had this situation wearing bahrain. Three calls can go through taiwan abreast. Really won't you can get through ten to breast so that that's an. That's a natural funnel point that sort of vestibule between two warm an intern take so so you had basically people sorting things out with each other just just looking at my notes this squeezes all the way down the field and so i you have lewis getting a clean gas away. The stepan going through as well and then album sort of makes it stick and get through and you have ricardo an album sort of alongside each other and sorting out between themselves. That causes potus to slightly cheque's pace. Maybe a little bit through through turn to and then further back you have squeezes. You have leclerc veterans stroll who are also three abreast through san juan clerk. Poor gas away and then sent for a deeply into turn one see. Have an awful lot of people who are trying to make up ground. Having got a poor start so you have the situation where bats seems to be a little bit. As as album gets ahead of riccardo norris taps ghastly science has to get out of the throttle to avoid that squeeze with with with having to check up ahead of him vattel. Who's then arriving. Kind of three abreast with strollers rights. The clerk and his right has to check very hard to avoid running into the back of what's ahead of him. Hey jinx right stroll goes rights and then creates a scenario where. There's a lot of slow moving traffic and grow. John arrives at that scene. Say's all those costs loving ahead. You have reichen going off track on the left in an attempt to go around the so the slow moving cars and i think garage unnaturally in the heat of the moment goes to the right May be of either forgetting or not observing the caveat. He's five o'clock almost an caveat sunny there because he's been in a squeeze with with the alfa romeo's he's been slide down because he's had pretty much guy over the apex turn to avoid clunking into magnusson. If if if my notes reflect this accurately so all circumstances kind of build into into what we saw happen of very very fiery accident and one that was very scary indeed it was becomes. Talk about the really terrifying. The copying on fire grudge having to escape the inferno league. I wonder if we could just come to you. What is the latest information. We have at the time of recording about jones conditioning hospital so gross on as seen on the world fit. He was transported from the Initially exciting the medical card in the ambulance and the medical center and he was quick. Side of c will require treatment. He's gonna remain sel overnights. They can complete treatment and Keep them on vacation base. Leads sure everything is okay. But remind he's in good spirits. He spoke to consign. He spoke to his family on the phone as well and then he also put a video up on instagram. A couple of hours ago which was really really good. say any. i'm okay and he was like well. No convenient okay. And then showed his hands. "two horse" Discussed on ESPN Chicago 1000 - WMVP

"My guest today will be on the shell Pennzoil performance on the B A bunch of them coming up early here. We'll do one question taking you live to the scenes of three very interesting football stories that's about 10 minutes away. Speaking of freaks in football after I'd like to begin. I love being a prisoner of the moment. I love being a professional over reactor. I do not apologize for it at all. And I'm going to do it again now. So Thursday night, I watched Kansas City take apart, Houston and I opened TV show in the morning. Get up by asking. Can the Chiefs go 16 and then the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday take apart the Cleveland Browns. And we wondered aloud. How about Baltimore versus Kansas City? They play each other week. Three Monday night Football in Baltimore. Our analytics now give the Ravens a slight edge over Kansas City, but it is a two horse race in the sea. And last night I watched Big Ben be back and better than ever taking on the Giants. With an unbelievable defense to carry him. And more skill position talent, and you realize the Steelers develop players better than any team in the National Football League say that again better than any team in the NFL. They are the best organization in professional football. And now I think we have to say this morning there was a big three. Because my favorite stat and I've been saying it over and over again to the point that if you're listening, you're probably sick of hearing me, say it, But I just think it needs to be reminded and repeated that last year when the Steelers had as bad a quarterback play as any team in the sport. They threw in games in which they scored at least 11 points. Ben Roethlisberger scores 11 points in his worst games. And his best is going to score a lot more than that. So Ben Roethlisberger Juju Smith Schuster. 22 headed running backs. Group, which which, apparently James Conners injury last night is not that bad. And that defense That's a dangerous team. That is a team to be taken seriously. I felt good last night about my pick of the Steelers to win the FC north at Marcus Spears with me on Get up this morning. I asked him are the Steelers for real? Do they look like a team? That is for real to you? Here's what Swagger said. There's gonna be this ongoing question of Can this defense carrier? Yes, it being robbers burger and this team can put up 20 something. Points have twenties. 30 points is going to be extremely moored for teams that beat him with this defense. 30 points. Let's let's take predictions right now. How many times this season will that defense give up over 26 a half points if I put the over under a 26.5 How many times this year will that defense allowed 27 points. They're always going to be those games. Short field turnover Bring out Pick six. Those things count. I'm talking about games in which the Steelers, the opposition winds up with 27 points or more. I should have looked at this bubble. No, no. Someone how many and how many games last year. Did the Steelers wound up allowing 27 points is curious. Someone just tell me in my ear when you get about a pop on I didn't think of this until just now, because if the answer is two or three And if that's what they allow this year. Steel is going to win a minimum of 10 games a minimum, so that puts you in the play offs for sure. And if it's a little better than that, and Ben is a little better than that. Then you start getting into the area of 12 and four. So then you really do maybe make a run at Baltimore. So I think the conventional wisdom right now is going to remain that the Chiefs and the Ravens are the big boys in the I think you overlooked the Steelers at your own peril. What they did to say Guan Barkley last night was impossible. Go ahead, Bob. How many times did they give up? 27 points last year? It was three times also three times. Okay. Do you have the teams? You haven't haven't who scored 27 against them? You haven't from was critical. That was New. England Seattle. And then in the final week, Baltimore So Lamar Jackson, Tom Brady and Russell Wilson. Man, so I think that defense is the best in the NFL. Did you see what they did to say? Quan Barkley last night? Raise your hand. If Saeko on Barclay was your first pick in your fantasy draft. My hand is aloft. I had the second pick field Yates to Christian McCaffrey, number one. I took Se Kwan number two. I mean his IBM fantasy League. I was head to head I was playing against Eli Manning last night. I wanted losing to him by two points because, say Quan Barclay only got six points in fantasy has not because he carried the ball 16 times for five guards. 16 times for five yards for a guy who is probably the best pure runner in the National Football League. It's impossible. If I told you yesterday, say Quan Barkley would not be injured would play the entire game and would finish with five yards rushing. You would have thought, well, the Steelers will have to be up by 40 in the second quarter for that to happen. It's nowhere near what happened. That's still a defence is a bit they are soldiers. That they're going to be very tough to beat. And with Ben If he really is healthy, and he started looking more and more comfortable is that Game one on one I believe there's a big three in the A F. C. Kansas City, Baltimore in Pittsburgh, and in my view, it's probably in that order. But if you wanted to quibble with that, I could probably talking to any of it. I'm greedy and presented by progressives home insurance. Get your quote at progressive dot com today before.

What does South East Asia want from the US and China?

"Bland is director of South, East Asian program at the low institute and Longley to. She's a senior analyst at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute walk into your by. Ben How is the increasingly assertive use and indeed Australian position on China. How is that being interpreted in South East Asia. We have this is a very broad region of ten countries of different size from giants like Indonesia to minnows, like Brunei to have been diverse reactions, but broadly speaking I think there's a lot of frustration with the trump administration the way it's being on the one hand increasingly unilateral and unpredictable. But on the other hand, there's this fear of US abandonment if you like in a long-term leaving the region to. Gemini so I think we have to understand. It's a complex picture, right? So the US has to treaty allies in southeast, Asia Thailand, and the Philippines and they've been amongst the countries that are most China friendly and most frustrated with the US government in recent years be while we see a former. FO- like Vietnam there's being one of the most receptive of the US approach to. Try and run the loss years. So it's quite complicated I. Think the real risk here is that the US government and to a lesser extent that I'm camera believes that it's more assertive stance on China is appreciated in the region and I think that's really not necessarily the case because at the end of the day like Australia. But most South East Asian countries China is that biggest. Partner, as well as being geographic neighbor is that you're reading to Huang given the Vietnam of course has been just mentioned is a Cold War Foe of united, states but in in the face of verizon charts getting closer to Washington. Southeast Asian nations have gone through a different phases of. Living next to China, they've known China. Through historical engagements of this is not a new thing for them. The anxiety about China's and China's might end as you mentioned, they've gone through A. Competition to window call when they have still vivid memories of that. So in overall I think they they do have anxiety. There is a pronounced anxiety about the intensifying great-power competition that might. Lead to similar way of asking them to choose sides like was in the Cold War but I think all of them want to keep both China and us in the region a engaged. Also not too. Aggressive or not to assertive, and they also want to involve other. Powers not only the be the two big ones but also Japan Australia's are career and the European countries. A little bit of competition is good for them but took much competition can be nervous. Let's bring it to Indonesia Ben. There's your name subject at the end of last year Indonesia and China had a face off over the ownership of the Natuna islands which are in the southernmost part of the area of the South China Sea claimed by China. Where does Jakarta stand on China? Now it's an, it's an interesting question building a wall who was just talking about because we look at Indonesia's president. Jerko with widow known as Jacoby, I've just written the first English biography of him the plug in that. He he is an economy I president. He is someone who is above all interested in creating more jobs, getting more investment into Indonesia, and especially during a time of covid nineteen when the economy's really collapsed and Jacoby is a transactional leaders that he wants those who are bringing the most money with fewer conditions and right now that is China Chinese state-owned companies. Chinese. Private companies like qualify as well. On, the other hand of course, Jacoby has to be seen to be defending Indonesia's sovereignty and we have had these clashes over fishing rights. I have access to certain waters that you mentioned. So I think when those of come to head, Jacoby has made a symbolic stance. He's gone out to the tune of see visited the islands gone onto ability ship a symbolic declaration. He's going to defend Indonesia's sovereignty but by in laws you trying to stay away from these. Geopolitical issues to play down the tensions with China said of the economic relationship can keep developing. So it's a really difficult balance and I think there's also a shift that's potentially happening in Indonesia. So the old guard if you like in the Foreign Ministry and the government in the military, they really view above all other things strategic autonomy on non-alignment as being the key for Indonesia. So don't get into any alliances don't get too close to any one power but. There isn't new of God if you like coming through increasing, you think Indonesia needs to be a bit more active about engaging with potentially the US Australia, the Europeans Japanese to try and balance out the region. But for now are really think with Jacoby in the hot seat it's the economy I put the geopolitics aside at the end of the day that's a positive for China, but it's not an open and shut case because the had been long been tensions. Between Indonesia and China. So Jacoby like a lot of other leaders in the region, we'll have to find this delicate balance, but it's getting harder and harder and Huong Vietnam your nation. Let's talk about that. It's been pushing back against Chinese expansion in the South China Sea, which threatens Vietnam oil drilling and fisheries, and of course, it's had an ongoing dispute about water flows in me congresses where China has built dams stream at tell us more about Vietnam position on China. Is Getting nece position on on current China is also a frustrated I. Think at Phnom has gone grew proably among all in countries have had the longest history of interaction with China and most cases where it was trying to defend its own national sovereignty and resist China's expansionist tendencies. So it's been ingrained in Vietnamese National Psyche I would say current us of China Sea conflict to end disputes are only. One of the examples of that, but it is similarly with others opposition countries, which is it's harder and harder to seek more peaceful avenues of dispute because it is a strategy in the South China Sea is among others was to include the direct dialogue with China but that is not really much come to help these days with Chinese expansion expansionist tendencies. Now, you mentioned also on which is very important. Aspect in the relationship. Phnom is at any of the lower mccown and China, is a deal a top of the upper and it's projects of a building dams and not only in China, but a call goes invest in dance in now Cambodia Yaman and Thailand that blocks blocks the water flow blocks were flow of the river, which is very important for agricultural conditions in. Asia and it is called the bowl of rice for the region and the countries. Of course, they export rise agricultural produce and also Crohn's fish and stuff like that. So we've China's interference into ecological nature of the river that can potentially add cost a lot of income for the countries, but also with a backup climate change that can pose a certain at time. Security threat to the food safety and food security of the region. So it is quite a leverage that China can have on the lower countries including at Phnom follow question to Ben Bland. Given what you said earlier about the relatively nuanced in measured response of south. East. Asia towards the United. States if you like trying to ride two horses simultaneously. What happens if China's rise continues on, abide it and seeks to dominate the region and America as the acting regional hegemony on goes to great lengths to stop China from dominating is where do you think? Will be of Southeast Asia then it's it's really hard to say how things go election coming up in the US very soon, I think that could have a big impact on how how things go in the. Trump and pretty anti-china. There's really a difference in degree rather than just shooting Washington goes to great lengths to stop China what they. In, that scenario. All I think I think we're probably not GONNA get to a situation where South East Asian countries have to choose one side of such. But what they will have to do is face an increasing number of difficult small choices about what technology they use in their mobile networks about what military exercises that willing to do about what investment projects say yes or no To so life will get tougher and tougher for the region, but I don't think at the end of the day. Any of the countries will be willing to join an alliance either with the US or with China. So they're going to keep trying to find the space in the gaps in between to try and exploit competition for the best interest if you're looking at. The longer term picture I think there's ways the big affair of the US just turning back inwards and the ultimately that the trump presidency. The rise of trump is probably a symptom of the issues in the US which are gonNA lead to a turning inwards and maturing of the US as a power being less influential pretension in Asia and the rest of the world. So, it may not be a question of China in the US coming to a head but the US rhetoric increasing the US pretend you withdrawing from the region

Tiz The Law Owner Jack Knowlton On Belmont Win

"Will here it is Jack Knowlton visiting with Anthony's to bill on. Red Brand radio. Congratulations on a fantastic win. A lot of people feel like it was seventeen years in the making my friend. Well we finally got our triple. Crown for Sakho Toga for Barclay tag and took us two horses and seventeen years, but from what I understand. It's still kind of fight for Barclay There aren't a lot of trainers at You know is one three legs of the triple crown in recent years. Yeah and you know you guys together. Seventeen years apart, and with New York breads and I know that's the. The mantra over attack a Toga. You guys support that program as well as anyone. Well I was pretty fascinated to learn that it was one hundred thirty eight years since the new. York breaded, won the. Belmont stakes now I know a lot of people are going to say well, then really count you know at you know. It wasn't a mile and a half and Yada, Yada but. In my mind, anybody who watched that race, who questions who would have won that race? It has been a mile and a half. I think the outcome would have been exactly the same as it was at amendment eight. And, Barkley had gone on record is before the race saying you know I would have liked a mile and a half of the source, and he's a horse again. New York Brad and that's what you guys do, you? You've been high on this horse from day one. Well. I watched them train at Saratoga. I mean you're up there and I'd go over at six o'clock in the morning 'cause. That was a time of day that Berkeley landed of track. It was almost darker. She got near the end of the need of what's dark. And not only did he. You know have a good works, and you know work quickly, not crazy fast, but you know good works. But the way he galloped out, I mean they couldn't pull him up. He goes around the second turn. After you know going, pass the finish line and writers just added tremendously difficult time pulling them up junior. Alvarado was riding. Mine is is raised back then, and when I saw that we went into a first range of six and a half furlong maiden mates for New York. Badge I really had a lot of confidence and He's lived up to it so one little bump in a road when he got stuck down inside and the worst part of the race track and Kentucky Jockey Club At. The end of November other than that He really has been flawless. Yeah. That's lobby. Track back in November. He's just been He's been impeccable. The rest of the way the covid nineteen outbreak of course forced post moment of the Kentucky Derby the preakness to. The. Bom obviously the biggest change with the Belmont was not only the two weeks, but the distance. You've mentioned the ASTERISK. We'll get to that in a minute You guys pretty much. And gals I don't want to offend anybody in Saratoga those thirty-five parts of this. Is that accurate? Seven and funny is that I was that six or seventy? You guys and funny side. We had ten ten. Okay, okay only. The same folks lieutenant. And I the only holdovers class. You guys Gus Williams. He passed away several years ago as dead one of our other great partners Dave Man but Ruined I gave remaining to. Stay with it and never in the world expecting that we would get the kind of horse that we've gotten here with the law. And this was an important race for you to win Jack Not that you don't want to win. The Derby again or the preakness again, but the Belmont stakes with your dedication to new. York, Brad's and New York, and let's face it. you know in a game where horses changed hands an awful lot. You and Barclay have been together two decades at this point. This was a very important race for you guys to to tick the box on. It was, and now he's got one more coming up in my hometown Saratoga Springs I've lived thirty five years I know Barkley wants to win it badly as do I and. Really if we can you know, check this box. would include the champagne, which is the the most important two year old race. The Belmont stakes obviously being biggest Belmont. An Excerpt from the book Youve Got This: The Life Changing Power of Trusting Yourself by Margie Warrell

"An excerpt from the book. You've got this the life changing power trusting yourself by Margie. Worrell growing up on a small dairy farm in rural Australia. I learned early. That courage trump's confidence as I mustered up my courage learning to ride my first horse as he towered over me or at least felt that way that a couple of years later had trained the brave all over again as I mastered my second horse. A Wild Brumby. We won in a raffle. Who went from zero to one hundred miles per hour in five seconds flat? My lifelong lesson growth in comfort can't ride the same horse of course if you've ever wished he were confidence you're not alone. The biggest hurdle we ever have to face fairly stories. We spin ourselves about not having what it takes to achieve what we want mired in misgivings. Many people tiptoed timidly through much of their lives arriving safely. Life's end with a large gap between the life. They did live the life they could have lived if only they act themselves more and doubted themselves less. Of course we're all wired for caution cognitively bias to overestimate the risks. Underestimate ourselves man. Focus more on. What scares us like being rejected or exposed as a fraud than on. What inspires us? Little wonder one of the regrets of the dying is that they lived to safe and risks to little which begs the question. Is it confidence. We really need to forge meaningful careers and driving our lives or is it courage to take action amid or doubt fears and misgivings Bill Marriott. The legendary hotelier. Who took the business? His father had started as a nine seat root beer stand and turn it into the world's largest hotel empire believes it's the ladder during a fireside chat for Marriott headquarters. I asked him what he learned about building confidence. He threw his head back and laughed. I've learnt that don't have as much as people think I have. He chuckled ye confidence by doing and learning and making mistakes and fixing. Your mistakes is true. Confidence is inbuilt through. Knowing you can't fail is built through risking failure daring to act with very confidence. We wish we had and trusting ourselves that even if we fall short we'll figure it out and be okay. Martin Seligman a leader in the field of positive. Psychology said that positive self image by itself doesn't produce anything in cannot be sustained without action in other words. You can't think yourself confident rather a Soliman road quote a sustainable sense of security in oneself arises from positive and productive behavior and quote. Ask anyone who's ever done anything worthwhile. And they'll tell you that it wasn't confidence in their invincibility that fueled their endeavors rather their desire to do something trump. They're feared they'd fall short in their attempt or my case as an aspiring equestrian fall of my oars which by the way I did many times ensured their mission exceeded their fear compelling them break ranks from comfort. Time and time again sometimes. It was semi confident actions. Sometimes it was not in the gut knees shaking nervous action but always action as prime minister of New Zealand. Jason Arden said quote. If you sit and wait to feel like you're the most confident person in the room. You were probably going to be left by yourself and quote so too. It is for all of us. We cannot build the confidence. We like sitting safely on our couch. Waiting for a thunderbolt of unstoppable self-belief to strike us from above does not say confidence doesn't have its merits. However with the exception of cereal narcissists confidence waxes and wanes. Waiting until you feel confident you cannot fall short before you take a brave leap toward your bold. His aspirations in your work relationships and life Camino long long wait far more useful to focus their energy on cultivating courage or training. The brave as I did each time saddled up after a fall all those years ago after all. Courage is not dependent on being completely self-assured that you'll hit a bullseye. Every time rather as about daring to do something despite your misgivings or lack of mastery as research has repeatedly found people build confidence by adopting a growth mindset and wish they give themselves permission to get better as they go along first allows you first draft then a slightly less lousy second. Dina half decent third draft. No one writes bestseller first time. They put pen to paper. So if you've been waiting until you're one hundred percent confident you know exactly what you are doing or of achieved. Davinci like mastery before you set out. Consider the hidden tax of letting your doubts. Call the shots on your career on your relationships. On the value or adding or failing to add for others on ever unleashing your full brilliance on the world cheating behaviors proceeds changing self perception rather than dwelling on all the reasons why not to take action. Shift your focus onto your future desired outcome and then take some action any action toward it doesn't matter how small or insignificant your action is. It just matters that you reclaim the power you've previously given your doubts in fears then notice how you feel nervous. Perhaps but definitely more empowered because he realized that the ground beneath you didn't open up and actually it wasn't so bad after all and then tomorrow repeat and continue every day thereafter until whatever one scared you no longer does at which point. It'll be time to raise your size again by deliberating. Refocusing your attention onto what it is that you do want. It creates a subtle shifting your psychological state than by taking action toward it. You subconsciously affirmed for yourself your commitment to achieving it courage confidence life rewards action only by daring to defy your. Taos and act with the confidence. You wish you had. Can you ever realize how little reason you ever had to doubt yourself?

5 takeaways as Joe Biden scores stunning wins on Super Tuesday

"All of yesterday's Super Tuesday primaries former vice president. Joe Biden is the odds-on favorite in what now appears a two horse race with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders dropping back a few lengths. It is quite the comeback for Biden and quite the concern for Donald trump who fears biden sufficiently to have got himself impeached. Trying to source dirt on him first of all. Here is our America's editor at large ED stock. What difference so we can make? It wasn't so long ago that people were writing. Joe Biden's political victory but Super Tuesday proved that a resurrection was underway. All part of what Biden's fans referred to as Gimenez him first off. There was the decisive victory in South Carolina. A few days ago expected given the state's large number of African American voters who favor him then last night he clinched the early battles many of them in southern states where he was expected to do well including North Carolina Tennessee Alabama and Virginia. But then he just kept on going so what happened exactly to reverse. Biden's fortunes with the party's most liberal candidate Bernie sound is emerging as the clear front runner. After the Nevada caucuses the moderate wing closed ranks and move to unite behind one person and that person was biden the endorsements of former presidential hopefuls. Pete booth attach and Amy Klobuchar. Who both recently dropped out of the running as well as Texan. Better Walk have been game. Changes the results by didn ended up winning in states where he hadn't even spent at dollars who held campaign rallies speaking from his HQ in Los Angeles next to his wife and sister Biden stuck to script talking from a teleprompter sounding solid and confident avoiding the wobbles from earlier in his campaign. Like this from I were that had cast doubt over. His Candidacy for kids are just as bright and just as talented white kids. Wealthy kids clock. Note that Bernie Saunders had a bad note nor is he out of the race by any stretch of the imagination. Going to defeat the most dangerous precedent in the history of this country his State of Vermont as well as Colorado and Utah and the most delegate rich state of California a total of one thousand three hundred and forty four delegates had been available on Tuesday. Night we'll counting towards the magic number of one thousand nine hundred and ninety one needed to win the party nomination but unlike the Republican Party for the Democrats delegates are awarded by proportional representation. If you get over a fifteen percent threshold meaning less chance of a runaway leader even if the pact has significantly narrowed what's clear is that this is very much two-horse race for the nomination now with Democrats going for two older white men who they've already seen on campaign trails to horse because a couple of candidates had bad nights the first of them. New York's format Michael Bloomberg who has taken a pummeling from his rivals since he decided to join the race at the end of November. This was the big test for his appeal and the power of his deep pockets after two wobbly televised debates one of which produced this. Lloyd have a very few nondisclosure agreements. How many how many is that? None of them accused me of doing anything other than maybe they didn't like joke. I told

Joe through a rough patch: Bidens super Tuesday

"This campaign sent down trump packing yesterday. Super Tuesday former Vice President. Joe Biden captured a clutch of states on the way to the nomination. The Democrats presidential candidate voters in Texas echoed. The view that Mr Biden presents a decent of reliable candidate in I've known so much about him for so long and he's a man of honor integrity and I think he will be excellent Senator Bernie. Sanders won his home. State of Vermont looks to be ahead in California for all the talk in the party that he would be a perilous pick plenty like his politics. I voted for Berry because he wants to get better rights. Everyone and then free healthcare but after a surge in South Carolina at a super Tuesday showing early promise of Mr Biden's campaign seems to have returned. Joe Has unbelievable sense of the understands people and he's been there and I trust them and it's why voted for him. Joe Biden had a very good night ethnic relative to expectations. And that's what matters most John. Prideaux is economists. Us Senator Bernie Sanders his two one. California which is the most delegate rich state but Biden did really well in other states including Texas which he wasn't projected to win a new few weeks ago. His campaign was being written off as being so dead and buried and people are encouraging him to drop out he now looks suddenly very competitive with Bernie Sanders and maybe even the likeliest nominees the Democratic Party. And how do you think it is that he managed that comeback? I think this result is a surprise. Joe Biden did well in South Carolina. Better even than people are expecting he was top of the polls there for a while but he really beat Bernie Sanders by a long way and this is a terribly cliche overused word. In presidential horse. Race Commentary Jason. But he's carried that momentum into Super Tuesday and done really well and it now looks like a prostitute horse race between him and Barney Saunders and what kind of nightmare standard have well. He didn't exactly have a bad night in the sense that he won. California the most delegate rich state he's done well in Colorado Utah. Put Tonight I tell you with absolute competence. We're going to win the Democratic nomination. I think relative to expectations having won the first few contests in the primary. It's not a very good performance for him if you look at his delegate numbers it looks like at the end of the night. He won't be miles behind Joe Biden but his campaign have been hoping that Super Tuesday would have put him so far ahead that he'd be the presumptive nominee and that hasn't happened. What about all the other horses in the race though well a couple of the horses dropped out before Super Tuesday? Both Pete. Beauty Judge Amy Klobuchar rivals for the moderate slug of Democratic voters dropped and endorsed Joe Biden before these primaries. That appears to help. Joe Biden a good deal. And how do you see that narrowing going forward well? Especially we'll be within Mike Bloomberg stays in. He said he would no matter. How many delegates we win tonight? We have done something. No one else thought was possible in just three months. We've gone from one percent of the polls to being a contender for the Democratic nomination for box. I think his performance was so poor that I'm not sure. He has much of a case to stay. Despite spending about half a billion dollars in advertising he did win American Samoa. That's not a great prize in the Democratic primary. If he works dropout I expect that would help Biden again. And what would really help? Biden is if at Mike Bloomberg puts his political funding his political machine that he's assembled very quickly behind Joe Biden both in the primary and then in the general election. What about Elizabeth Warren? Though you haven't mentioned her I didn't mention have for good reason Jason. She hasn't won a single state. That is a surprise. There are plenty of good things about her candidacy. She's rather skillful politicians. She has lots and lots of detail. Policies which is either a good thing or a handicap depending on your point of view and it looked like she might be just left wing enough to excite the party whilst being centrist enough not to scare to many people but she really hasn't done well she seems to have been another victim of this overcrowded. Primary She's also saying that she'll stay in the race. So here's my advice. Cast a vote. That will make you proud. Cast a vote from your heart and vote for the person you think. We'll make the best president of the United States but it's hard to see much point in her doing so particularly after she lost her home state in Massachusetts so once again in this election cycle the talk in early stages was just how broad The field was and now it's been narrowed down to to Washington heavyweights who've been in politics forever. How do you suppose that's happened from all that? Talk of of change and younger faces and diversity down to kind of a bit of the same old yeah. This is a very odd feature the Democratic primary isn't it? I mean if the two candidates are Biden and Saunders and one of will face Donald Trump in November donald trump will be the youngest candidate that race and the choice will be between three white males in their seventies. That's quite surprising. Given where the Democratic Party field started out and I think the main reason for that is just. There was so many candidates in the race. Jason that quite a lot of potentially rather good candidates got knocked out early on weren't able to pick up enough momentum when able to get any purchase in early primaries so I think that's really the reason why we've ended up with these. Two very familiar figures that both of them started with a bit of an advantage in that they had to some extent a group of loyal voters. They're really only candidates in the race. Who are in that position and in such a crowded field. That's quite a good place to start. And so is what we're seeing here. Kind of coalescing of the fear about Bernie Sanders and the degree to which. He's he's just kind of two out to too far out to to the left. The idea here. Is that Mr Biden is is the safer bet. D Do you agree with that assessment? It certainly looks that way to me. I mean I thought that it would be certainly a risk for the Democrats to run Bernie Sanders against president trump. If you asked Democratic voters they say their number one thing is that they want a candidate who can beat Donald Trump but then that opens up a whole argument about well what kind of candidate can beat Donald Trump and. There's one theory that you need to take on kind of firebrand and a fellow populist like Bernie Sanders. Different kind of populist. And there's another school of thought says. Actually you need to play it safe and Joe Biden is the ultimate sort of play. It safe candidacy. He's not terribly exciting as a candidate but looking at the numbers are lots of analysts thought that he had perhaps the best chance of beating Donald Trump so it looks like the alarm about his candidacy that it just might be taking a huge risk in. What's a very consequential? Election seems to translated into poor results him on Super Tuesday. So as you say we're entering a period where it's essentially a two horse race. Do you have a sense now? That things are crystallizing. A bit how it might go from here. I think one thing we can certainly say is the voters have a habit of confounding the predictions of pundit. There's still quite a long way to run in this thing and room for further slip up so I'd be reluctant to say Candida. Xl definitely be the nominee. That said it's still. It's quite likely that the Democrats will end up with a contested convention in July. And I say that if you look at remaining states is Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden. Probably need to pick up maybe sixty percents of the remaining delegates. That's a high proportion and if I the Santus. All Biden fails to do that. The Democrats end up with a contested convention. So that's still looks like it's a fairly likely outcome. And so what are the things to watch as more primaries play out I think the things to watch our does Michael Bloomberg stand the race if he gets out how does that affect is Bernie? Sanders is Joe Biden. Able to build up such a commanding lead that they can win this thing. Outright get a majority of delegates before the convention or whether we'll end up with contested convention in which case people are going to start to get very interested in the intricacies and the rules of contested conventions. That's something we discussed on checks and balances on the economists other podcasts recently

Breaking Down Super Tuesday's Results

"Have Texas called in the last five minutes by the Associated Press Four Biden which was a slight surprise. I mean this was something where it was looking like a sanders victory up until a few days ago the polls were deadlocked and what happened is in the last three or four days Bernie Bernie Sanders Lost a lot of states that he was slated to win and Joe Biden consolidated a significant chunk of the Democratic Party. So is this a two-horse race? Yeah I mean I think the question is is it a one horse race There there is a possibility that Biden will create an insurmountable lead Going into next week Because one thing that's also very striking if you look at the results is that Biden performed everywhere except for the places that had high proportions of early voting in other words. Four people voted before south. Carolina's results were known and the narrative was that Biden's candidacy was flailing and Bernie was ascendant. So in in everywhere else Biden really over performed in a big way. The other thing that's very important to note is that Sanders argument throughout this campaign has been that. He brings new voters to the table new voters to the ballot box and that simply hasn't been shown by the data and in fact last night everywhere where turnout was up dramatically and it was up dramatically in some key states biden one big so for the narrative that we need a large coalition to beat. Donald Trump in November. The data is showing. That Biden is doing that and Bernie is not and if you're Bernie supporter. I can understand that it's something that's a difficult pill to swallow but it's what. The empirical evidence is showing through these Super Tuesday results. I mean because sound is slightly scary for some voters because of the socialist labeled but he's not really socialist in the sense that we would understand it. That's right I mean. I think the when you think about this from a UK perspective. There's a lot of Corbin. Comparisons Bernie is not Corbin. He's not nearly as far left as Jeremy. Corbyn but the US is not as far left as Britain. The US is right of Britain. And I think what's also crucial to keep in mind here is that the twenty twenty race is going to be decided by six. Maybe seven swing states. And when you look at which ones those are. You're talking Michigan Pennsylvania Wisconsin Arizona. Florida Georgia those states have very little in common culturally. The one thing they have in common is that they're ideologically moderate and so when you look at places like I'm from Minnesota which trump lost by one and a half percent whether Bernie is socialist or not. That label is highly unpopular in the mid west. It's highly unpopular in places that are ideologically moderate. And so I think that you know Bernie was going to face. Some serious roadblocks to winning in November against trump with some of those label. Some of his comments from the past. That wouldn't have played well in the sort of you know bread and butter mid West Swing State voters who are ultimately centrists so Tuesday was going to belong to Bloomberg if we believed Bloomberg. That clearly isn't the case. Is he still in with a chance? And if he's not might he take those vast funds and place them behind some other candidate? Your answer great question. I think this is one of those things where you know for Democrats who have divided opinions on the candidates. I think the last night in America was a victory for Democracy with a small D. Because it showed that money can't buy elections. He spent a half a billion dollars. Five hundred million dollars and lost everywhere except for I think American Samoa. An overseas territory. So what Bloomberg is likely to do. I mean I've seen reports who knows what will happen by senior ports. He's going to reassess his candidacy tomorrow. if he's smart and his advisors are smart. He'll drop out Wednesday morning. Us Time and throw his billions of dollars behind whoever the Democratic nominee is and I think just to you a scale of how rich Michael Bloomberg is. I did the math on this if I gave you. Five thousand dollars a day every day. Three hundred sixty five days a year. I would have had to start doing that in thirty two. Thousand B C Twenty. Two thousand years before the woolly. Mammoth went extinct for you to have as much money as Michael Bloomberg today so he has a lot of cash and that cash is going to go very likely behind. Joe Biden's candidacy in the coming days and very much the sharp end of the Spear Against Donald Trump going into the general election. So before we get onto what I suspect is really very good news. Just a quick chat about the other candidates Elizabeth Warren and you'll see above who are still in the race. I mean seem not for much longer. Yeah I expect. Warren will probably drop out tomorrow. Tulsi Gabbard Should have dropped out months ago. Chelsea Gabbert has a constituency of exactly one person in that person's name has Tulsi Gabbard But you know Warren Warren I. I've been surprised by. She ran a formidable campaign. She's extremely smart and has done a great job in exciting of voters about her plans. So I would expect that there will be a push to get her endorsements For either Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden. I also think that the the Democratic nominee would be very wise to pledge to bring Elizabeth Warren at at a minimum as a core adviser for the campaign the administration And possibly as vice presidential candidate or a senior adviser in the I also I mean the piece that I'm writing for the Washington Post. This morning is going to call for Biden to come out with a vice presidential pick now and I think the reason for that is because the party is divided between the sanders farther left wing and the Biden more centrist moderate wing and binding could go a really long way if he announced somebody like Elizabeth Warren Kamala Harris Stacey from somebody who fires up the Progressive Wing of the Party And and causes who are a little further left of bite into say you know what he understands us? He accepts that were part of the coalition to win and he's going to be running the candidacy that speaks to us. Not just to the moderates and of course the bottom line is who can beat trump. And you're of the opinion. That could be done. Yeah I mean I think this is something. Where were if you look at the swing states? That matter in November Biden is somewhat tailor-made for those states And there's been this narrative since two thousand sixteen because the political class so to speak was surprised by trump's victory that there's the secret sauce. That trump has that. He'll win no matter what but if you look at the polls. I mean most of the national polls have Biden up by eight points to nine points against trump and keep in mind. That trump was so worried about biden beating him that he able to get impeached over it. Dry trying to trying to damage Biden. And if you look at trump's tweets he is trying to say you know so. Division on behalf of Bernie saying the Democratic Establishment is trying to Rob Bernie Sanders supporters of their victory. Simply because he thinks that the way he wins either with Bernie candidacy over the divided party. Keep in mind that the the Democratic Establishment did not rob Bernie Sanders of the voters. The voters robbed Bernie Sanders the voters in this time because You know he he. Simply he lost the race You know ran I think fairly squarely one thing. That's very interesting to note going forward if Bernie decides to stay in the race. Even if next Tuesday's results are not favorable for him is that in two thousand sixteen when Bernie Sanders was trailing the delegate count. He said that it should matter. Only if you get a majority of delegates not a plurality he was going to fight to the convention and try to say though pick me as the nominee even if I don't have the most delegates this time around when he's had the most delegates when he's been the lead he said the exact opposite he said. If you have a plurality of delegates you should be the nominee will. We're headed for a scenario? After last night in which Joe Biden goes into convention potentially not with a majority but with a plurality and Bernie Sanders is on the records. Now saying that person should be the nominee so he may end up regretting Those words but it is. It is something that sets a precedent by which even if Biden does not get over the fifty percent threshold. That the rules say you have to. You could have his main opponent on camera many many times saying that effectively. If he's got the plurality he should be the nominee. I mean. A gamer of then Biden may yet beat trump. But we're assuming that this will be a fair fight and of course. There's nothing that you can see him about trump. We do not know how how badly he may try and ski this race. Yeah I mean this is why prognostication is a very dangerous game in In Two thousand twenty is that you have a lot of things that trump is going to be willing to do to break the rules. We we've seen that. I mean he was impeached because he tried to use US foreign policy and hundreds of millions of dollars to get a foreign government to investigate a political opponent in two thousand sixteen. Of course he called to jail his uplift his political opponent And and of course there's going to be the wildcards of Russian interference information more at CETERA. But there's also the wild card of the corona virus and how that's going to affect the race which causes some serious uncertainty forecasting months if not weeks into the future and we don't know how that's going to shake out but yes I mean I think if you're looking at places where trump is vulnerable and where he needs to win. Joe Biden is the candidate who is more like voters in those states than Bernie Sanders. I mean is something where you know in Minnesota where I'm from a neighboring Wisconsin. Both States Democrats need to win if they WanNa win and twenty twenty. Those states are not the ones calling for a socialist revolution outside of potentially progressive core in the urban centers. And what Biden did last night. Was He brought suburban voters to the polls and those people are the people who propelled the Democrats to the twenty eighteen victory in the house. So you know it's about building. A coalition of Progressives ideological moderates and even some Republicans who thank you know what trump is not a safe pair of hands to have when the country is facing a crisis like it is with corona virus. I think that might be the argument going forward. Brian. Thank you very much indeed. That's Brian Class in. Incidentally it's the first time I've seen him smile since two thousand and

Post Time: Fountain of Youth is leap day for Derby hopefuls

"Happy Fountain of Youth Day. Thank you thank you starting early today for so eleven. Thirty fourteen racist today so should be a good one. I don't know if people think chancellor card yet but I mean it's just stacked start to finish so we're we're gearing up for a day. How's the weather down there today? Good conditions it's great It was very breezy and on the chilly side yesterday. Obviously not Florida are rolling their eyes at US saying that it's cool but it feels different when it gets colder down in Florida will definitely say that. But it's gorgeous. Today it's going to be low. Seventies son is out a little bit less windy than yesterday as well. Let's start with the Fountain of Youth. That will be the final of the fourteen races on this Saturday program. Twelve horses are entered. There was some conversation about chance it potentially coming out because of the outside post position As of just a little bit ago I think he is still in so some decisions yet to be made but twelve horses set to go. How did you see this one? Yeah he is still and he does have until forty five minutes before the race as is the protocol for Great. It's so he's got some time There was one scratch just of the number two horse in there but This is a tough race chance. It's been really impressive. And Ultra talented and and obviously Fun Horse to watch down here but I did go with the Horse. That actually finished second to him in the Home Watch. Oh man and that is as you know on. Tv For Kelly Brian. I just thought that this course who I had not actually seen him physically before leading into that last race and he really showed me. Both in the flesh needs performance that he was the type that could handle the stroud and distance effectively. I think he's drawn well and he's going to be really tough. Obviously done this moment. It's going to take a lot of attention. Chance it as well and those are some good horses but I'm GonNa land on as seen on TV seen on. Tv Ninety two on the morning line has been extremely consistent. You mentioned the forest arts. Two wins two seconds and that runner up in the mutual macho man last time to to under pokka. Lopez here this afternoon. I'd like to spend more time talking with you about some of the other contenders but in the interest of time here this morning. Let's move on to the race. For the three year old girls we don't want to neglect the phillies The Dow is race number ten one mile on the main track. It will go right around that four o'clock eastern time. Yeah this is an exciting race. You've got tunnel shape city outside Saffy. Joseph's junior has obviously really burst onto the scene this year with the likes of math wizard and then of course potential Derby contender and Chan said and he's also got affiliate that Again is undefeated and turned out to be the first graded stakes winner for Tony. Lists and sire and she even though she's been so impressive it does kind of feel like even in this race that she still has a little something to prove. It'll be interesting I think that the race really revolves around the todd. Pletcher Philly in spices nice. I mean she was just a monster in her debut and I spoke to todd yesterday and he said that she was the phillies but they obviously really had high hopes for given the purchase price and her breathing out of the Dorsey and she not only showed up in her debut. But I watch pretty much all of her recent workouts at Palm Beach downs and I spoke to todd about this too and that she's been training for the most part with some of the really highly touted colts and his part including the point. Who was really well tipped out market analysis. Just some very talented horses. That have won first time out. And she's been training with the colts. A Lotta Sense. Kinda dwarfs inside too. She's a very very big Philly but she has a nice way of moving and they taught it said that was a way of them kind of testing. Just how good is she? And she's really responded to retest. Yeah that I start. She dominated her maiden race on January twelve. She won by twelve ran away from the field. That probably could have been more if they wanted it to be. That was at the same one mile distances. Today's Dimona del Was there a obviously? She was the favourite that day ACACIA but was a palpable buzz around spices. Nice when she walked into the paddock that day there was and you know she would not necessarily be the type of horse that I would pick out in a lineup Just face off of you know looks for a Horse. That would win first. Came out like I said. She's very big she by curl and She has kind of a long stride along next to her and I thought that she was going to win. But I was almost wondering puts. You need a race which you need to turn. And she's just so talented that she was almost kind of able to overcome. Maybe not looking like the precocious sharp I out type of winter so I thought that was really interesting as well. And and obviously this is going to be a tougher spot going right into graded stakes company but think that she is really one of the box. Office potential superstars on the undercard today. And I'm excited to see her. I also use underneath though in Second. I use five reluctant bride. Who I think is good and I like her switching to stay. She's got dirt pedigree and I spoke to Patrick the cone the other day and he said he tries a lot of his horses that he thinks are good. On the turf I F. A. Indian and sold allante being perfect examples and He says he thinks it's an easier trip. And then you switch them to dirt and that just might be where they're most comfortable and that's what he's doing with this one today who just closed so impressively in her first race. And I think that she's got some ability to talking with ACACIA. Courtney from Gulfstream Park here on the Horse Racing Radio Network Again Fountain of Youth Day Fourteen races. We have time to look at one more case you have about a minute or so. Just over that for we have to get to the next segment The Gulfstream Park Mile is race number. Twelve another big field. Eleven horses entered one mile on the main track. And this is a very interesting race gear. Mclaughlin had to including Hi Collin true. Kimber I really like hike. Second also layoff. I think he's GonNa be a big improvement for him today. And I think that it's kind of always flies under the radar is how Creek Hustle. He's actually my top picks some paddock school the other day for Vicki Foley. I think he's actually going seven furlongs. One Turn My. Oh which is what he gets today. just a side note. It's the treat to see Pegasus World Cup runner up MR freeze back. And he'll turn back and distance as well for for Dale Romans who could potentially have a big day. Yeah it could be a huge day for Dale and ACACIA. Has a very busy day ahead of her. So we'll let her go. Acacias squeezed me in this morning. I appreciate you taking a few minutes. Go enjoy the rest of the day and we'll talk soon. Thanks for being here all right. Thanks guys take care. She's the best Acacia Courtney. Lyft beats revenue estimates but stock falls

"But let's begin with lift because shares are in the red after posting results for more would drove the quarter. Let's go to dear Bosa who's been listening into the conference call. And his more more with us now deirdre Brian. I have been listening in you know in the ride sharing space. We've moved from having a path to profitability to who can shorten that path by the most most uber of course upping the ante last week when it said it would be adjusted EBA profitable by the end of this year earlier than expected. Investors may be looking for lift to push up. It's time line as well from the expected. Late twenty twenty target that outlined previously. Now when I spoke to CFO. Brian Roberts earlier today. He said that they would be addressing that timeline on on the call but so far and we're about thirty minutes then we haven't heard anything we'll certainly let you know if that does happen. So far Logan Green has said that lift is simply making progress rests on that path to profitability. And how to get there have lesson. We expect to deliver continued strong. Top Line growth in twenty twenty well also making progress on our pastor profitability as we've discussed on prior calls their three key themes that we're focused on I is product innovation second is profitable growth grow and third is operating now cfo. Brian Roberts has been speaking on the call for about ten minutes already and still no mention of name any change to that profitability timeline. So despite beat on the top and bottom lines Brian as you noted shares are down more than four percent in the after hours. Remember it did rise on the back of Uber's burnings but it did move up. It's time line now. Another key question. That's likely to be asked during the Cuna. Portion is the impact of regulations while Uber has been making changes to its a platform. Lift is observing them. It says and focusing on a ballot initiative that could exempt them from the GIG economy law now is eighty five which could require the right turn. Companies to treat drivers as employees versus independent contractors. Roberts telling me earlier that the company's twenty twenty guidance assumes the status quo like. I said Brian that call also going. So we'll continue to monitor and bring you anything if it changes the direction of stock price and the after hours. Yeah industrious. Don't like it in the early reaction long way to go to your thank you very much. which kind of dumb luck about it? Okay so you've got the lift CEO talking up a couple of things. One of them is profitability. Wouldn't you like all three to be profitability profitiblity profitability and profitability and. They trust us so few quarters ago. Listen I think this was a very good quarter. I think the reason the stock is down. It's because it's gone from thirty eight and a half to fifty three and a half basically in a straight line and I think people are taking profits on the back of this if you look though terms of margins contribution margin fifty four percent at this time last year forty five and a half percent all the metrics are better and quite frankly scared people might be the full year guide but I think this is a stock that probably got ahead of it's skis in in terms of the stock price. Going back and fill and again. I've said this for a while. I don't think it's going back to that. Sixty three level that it failed at a while back but I think the high fifties absolutely absolutely in the cards. Well more focus on profitable rides whether it's airport drives and whatnot are certainly something to talk about but to to get away from structural profitability issues. That we thought were a a big part of this transportation as a service sector out of the gates. I is crazy to think that suddenly we could've gone from a place and the stocks representative up twenty four percent year today Up Twelve and a half percent into this print over the last five days. It's not a huge surprise when you don't get this renewed kind of fuel for the fire profitability to be clear. They were ahead of Uber to talk about profitability are ahead of Uber. They have a simpler business model but profitability and rationalization in terms of the competitive landscape between these two folks. I'm not sure is is here yet. You Know Karen Listen. They are domestic. Tim's point they do not have the food delivery business. They're trying to remain stable but you look the analysts community. There's thirty eight analysts have covered. This why I don't know but there's thirty. The high price forget the high price target is ninety. The lowest thirty five the median is sixty fifty five year. Analysts community has no visibility into fifty five dollar price difference in targets. That is interesting. I think when they're talking about profitability ability. I think they're getting to break even as the sort of I measure of profitability. And then I think talking about margins is how do they grow this business and grow the margins regions. I actually like lift. I agree with guy. Had it not been up so much into earnings. I think this would have been an okay of Eric Berry. Okay we'll see what he says on the call about. Does the timeline change any. That's going to be really important but I actually like it. For the reason do send it is a cleaner sort of story than Uber. Yeah I would just mention this though you know. Obviously it's a two horse race. As far as the product is concerned. I think the last thing you really WanNa do at this point this far away from profitability to see these companies tripping over each other to kind of get ahead ahead of their skis to kind of get too aggressive on their guidance because to your point about profitability and visibility and investor visibility and then obviously the analysts community. I mean at the end of the day you could. You could obviously Drive a truck through that sort of sentiment. Let's they've laid out there guidance when they're going to get adjusted adjusted whatever that means because that really doesn't mean profitability but I think investors want the path towards and. I'll just say kind of the last point here is that this stock broke out of that. Fifty levels been below there for five months or so I think investors are comfortable on how these guys are going to get to that twenty twenty twenty one guidance. I don't think you want to see them. Get too far ahead of it. It's weird world guy down because it is he's got this discussion. We talk about this company monitoring we gotta talk about Lift Tesla. It might have heard about sure mentioned a few times. Everybody talks in the bull. Case of Tesla's autonomous cars. They're going to drive US around. We won't need ridesharing during or if we do it will probably be in some sort of Tesla or tesla related. Maybe or maybe that's the existential risk to Ford and GM reason why those stocks traded at horribly over for the last six or seven years. I don't know I think you make a fair point. I don't think it's the death knell for the Uber's analysts. I think you have to decide which is better which is better situated. It has a better platform right now and I continue to say it's left now again. I think the run-up it's been such that. It makes sense. People are taking profits but you just look at the numbers. The numbers are improving. You're we're talking about thirty six percent revenue growth quarter over quarter and you over here something about twenty eight twenty nine percent. I think that's an interesting playwright here and again forty eight and a half this way you get back into name but we think about you. It's interesting you bring in Tesla Valuation. Because at least with Tesla there's all kinds of pie. In the sky you could incorporate in terms of their data terms of battery pack. This is ultimately. It's a service revenue dynamic for them to get to that Q.. Four twenty twenty one EBA positive they're gonNA have to grow trip growth by twenty percent. They're going to to grow our poo or average revenue per rider. So I changed it around a little bit by fifteen percent but that's pretty straightforward. It's not a case where you can take evaluation evaluation begin to start extrapolating all kinds of growth prospects. I don't think you can let me make one other point. We're talking about a company that you said yes. They went public at seventy two bucks is trading trading at fifty two bucks. They put three billion dollars in cash on their balance sheet so that actually preserve their ability to kind of get to whatever those targets are to get profitable and the the other thing. I'll just say you talk about data talk about an existential threat to the car makers so it's going to have to make the cars that are going to be autonomous on lifting Uber's network so so this company you know people talk about one was apple by Tesla this. This company will get bought by some day by a massive data company. It could be an apple it could be a google could matter what could be tesla who knows I'm just saying if you're looking at vertical integration. Just say at this market cap with that cash position if they can accelerate their profitability At some point this is not going to be a thirteen billion dollar enterprise company. I'm not sure if you're aware that this guy a dummy actually was working lift at some point guy. I wonder what the whole talk talk about. Employees actually being drivers under any thought about coming back to this quarterbacks. They've called me a number of times early drivers. Hopefully the crack staff halfback footage is wonderful. There you looked at me with the whites loves now. That's what we call white glove service. Bryant wouldn't genius. Sounds like you've just great but at the

Mark Casse Interview - January 18, 2020

"When you talk about the three year olds this weekend all eyes on the grade three Lecomte stakes at the fairgrounds and mark? CASSIE is going to be a very very busy man. He has horses entered there there. He has horses entered at Gulfstream Park. And as you might expect he's prominent in so many major stakes races mark with me now here on the horse racing radio network mark appreciate the visit in the time my friend thank you. Thanks for having me now. It just got to win a few. Yeah now you just got to get things rolling. I mean you're pretty. Hey good at that though sometimes so far this year but it's really it's early what's okay so for a trainer when you go through a little stretch like this. You said it's slow. You know things will pick up eventually. But what do you. How do you keep the faith? How do you keep the same approach? Approach everything well. You just know that it's worked and so You know you just you just keep doing the same thing you've always it's done So much of it is is just sometimes you go through cycles and things work right sometimes. I can look at it condition. Asian book a lot of times. And tell you whether we're going to how we're going to do. Sometimes you know you have races that fit your horses better than others and But by the you know you just continue David Care on. I've talked about this many times and that is you just keep doing doing What you've been doing we We won five breeders cups and two classics. And so I think we we I think we we. We know what we're doing so we just keep doing the same thing. Yeah more than twenty eight hundred victories in North America for trainer Mark. CASSIE so. Yeah I think you know what you're doing it hard mark not to start like tweaking. Funny Mike though I will tell you. This is many racist as we went all those. When you start? Start when you do go through a little spell where you're not winning as much as you'd like you know you're like he's still like oh I want to win. It never changes. It doesn't matter whether for me whether it's a five thousand dollar claiming race or five hundred thousand dollars claiming race and I I don't like losing nobody does You know so There you go. Well hopefully things start picking up with the Lecomte Lecomte stakes later today and all the stakes races at Gulfstream tubes. You're well represented there but let's let's focus on the three year olds in the lacob and this is a race that you want for the first time. Last last year with war of will we know it worked out okay for him he went out and won the preakness later in the season. And some people will say maybe he should have won the Kentucky Derby. But that's neither here nor there here at this point So tell me about the two horses you have this year. You have Lynn's map and then you have enforceable and I would say Lens Map. Probably the more highly regarded at least in terms of the the morning line. Well well we just scratched him. Oh okay well there you go. And and that was kind of the plan when he drew the fourteen hall. It's nearly nearly impossible to win anywhere from the fourteen whole But New Orleans is pretty tough to win from the fourteen hole So when that happened when he drew outside their yesterday we Entered him in the Smarty Jones. And he's going to run next Friday at Oakland in the Smarty Jones. That works out okay. It doesn't cost you a whole lot of time right. No no not at all and The the Smarty Jones I think he's number eight of nine much much more favorable Post and Yeah he's a very nice horse he's he's done done well so far We're excited to have him and you know now he. He's he's taken one step. He took another step and now the big except the big step that says. Can you run with the better. Three year olds in North America and We're going to have to wait a week to find out. Is there something mark that you look for for in your newly turn. Three year olds at this point in the season that you say okay they they have that it factor they have what it takes to be a factor moving down the road to the Kentucky Derby. Oh yeah I I mean I think you can look at horses and say you know can again this one go forward a lot of times. It's pedigree a lot of times. It's the and brains So it takes a lot it takes a lot and and more than anything it takes a while back but Definitely by this. It's time you know we're looking at is that we think could You know go on I would say that A year ago today I still had big question backs questions about Sir Winston I wasn't sure how good he was as yet and But WAR WILL I. I was very confident at this time. Last year. I think I can remember doing an interview review Down for Thinks it's name right now but down in New Orleans and he he said What do you think of your chances today? And I said I'd be surprised if he gets beat. And I don't say that very often but I had just the utmost confidence of war in war will well We're not we're not in the same. You know we are not on the same same page right now as we were a year ago so we have enforceable end. Today who enforceable is one of the horses he's gotTa humongous pedigree pool brother Demo Heynen also half brother another really good horse. Can't can't escape me right now. But he's a horse. We liked a lot but he is just been extremely slow to come around His last race was much better than it looks on paper and in David's extremely happy with the way he's trained up to this race so You know we're expecting big things out out of in today I if we don't see him today then he's just not I don't think he's good enough so We're we're looking for big things out of him today. Are there a couple of other three year olds in the Cassie Barn. That people should keep an eye on as we moved down this route short on my three year old colts right now. Um and one that I would tell you that we work game this morning. I'm in Miami today and we work in this morning we bought or recently broke his maiden name's untitled Broke his maiden at cough stream ran a ninety eight buyer One by ten. I'm excited about at him pretty soon this morning out of the gate and I just like so many things about him. He's a big tall lanky cold with a great mind and and Just lucky you know that we were able to get him in and now we need. We need to have some luck with him. He's going to Swail We have two you other cults that are in running allowance races today Strike Appeal and race driver. They're running that fairgrounds right now I would call them the B. Team Hopefully plea. After today we could call on them they will say earlier. You mentioned the name of the Belmont winner from last year Sir Winston. I saw that he had a breeze was yesterday at Acworth. Desert Right which day before the day before a guy for yeah? What's what's going on with him extremely well? We were very happy with the The only issue he pulled the shoe off during the work and then he stepped on it and He's been a little tender on and we're currently Soaking his foot and and insane I would say fifty fifty. I sent him up to run him in Chazal I think it's called and Next weekend right now I'd say we're fifty fifty two run. We're GONNA see. See Our foot response to that and If not we'll wait for the next one. My long term explains for him is is trying to get him to do by which I'm happy. He grew up a lot during his time off. He's a big handsome horse now. And and Training well so expect big things out of in We'll see what happens here with his foot. Just been on the phone with the Cheney Baig Egg who is my main assistant there knows no Sir Winston probably better in any way and he helped preparing for the Belmont and So we're we're seeing. He's he's soaking his foot as we speak what's going on with the preakness winner. IS HE GONNA race in two thousand twenty. Yes eastern well. He watched him train Yesterday morning before I drove down to Miami scrape. He's grown up. Some right now are feeling Is that. He's a great one winner on the dirt. We're going to try to make him a grade. One winner this year on the grass so that that's where we'll be focusing Probably the maybe around March or April April.

"Hello hello and welcome to a very special edition of three while had no cover a Melbourne cap spatial we're going to go through every runner in the rise and fall and you will win out in a rice that stops a nation Russian and more to co host as always went on I'm in the chair and Julian Velazquez in white hot form of the moment if Russia on Saturday you went with Miami Band and Rice to over fleet you are on far at the moment you hit can easily change your on the good as you last election bought we going by but this rice is tough if there's an idea but we're gonNA raw knows all about it and you'll be able to put us in the right direction recently does these group one winning jockey many many times I'll tell you what when you come ad for Melbourne Cup wake what do you do you know you're going to be on TV beat you get rid of the beat and you go clean shy of any loops ten years younger that man is some and Marshall thank you good to have view I in the pigskins tonight especial Melvin competition this is a good feel this is a great field there's stack question marks recognize genuine chances in the Rice Sarah dissecting talking about them and maybe a COUPLA fees for the panels at home as we always liked the play the motorcycles watch this show all the time we're laws that are not always here markle wall will make wall or skipper as we now him macy's full alive and apparently he's got appendicitis and he organized they shouted out he was the driver behind Z.? LOVES BEING ON THE CAMERA LOVES BEING ON TV now apparently appendicitis apparently rushed to hospital but this video always target only twenty four hours ago and show you video on will the background camera legal round the block a man in the back dead who is going to pin this on us now are always the doctor boys I would be looking getting nowhere near the appendix I'll be working towards the leveraging as the light scratching on vets at voice box towel enjoys Dhabi heavy wealth to talk about on Taylor downdraft on Saturday fans wind the Melbourne Cup the Siamese Prince of aerated law she came third in the rice has that changed anything look into the rice it's now seven eight dollars and obviously we've seen through history that you win the Lexus the wholesome the SOB whatever it's called utain to run really well in the Melbourne Cop in the the market seems to gravitate toward you we'll get to that very shortly bought the market did change a little bit off to the barriers or war we're going to get the market up a brand new let's go through the market rocket as it stands at the moment and glass who's coming to five or tim that was a bad I fifty a couple of weeks ago Constantinople touch sevens at had fiend Shit tain bound declares in the cross Cantu the extra kilos this she is surprised by being Il Paradiso having a lot of pundits h. y. the Prince of Erin and move always at either over the table and Raymond Tusk at Nineteen downdraft is the one that came means southern France bits bits two thousand dollars on on the five southern France at twenty one dollars all the way Dan Hunting Horn who won two weeks ago at forty one dollars here it's a big rice guys on the page and there's still some genuine probably live chances there as well toy that we've had since the barrier to that the punishment the most sports bit the favorite mode aglow I told is into six fifty after the barrier draw guy to probably a big advantage for that horse obviously it's good it's about thirty two hundred meters but maybe the guy alleviates it's a couple of those problems with that and the other one was lying there the to the pun is one of the moment for us at sports is there anything out of Sessa die the why the trek plied that you can take in the Melbourne Cup look other than the fact that you are dandruff obviously going really well he's going to be fit we still have these trucks going apply to be honest it was quite wet on Saturday there's GonNa be some rain today on Monday and supposedly drawing we know it's a joint track but he's going to draw on add some confidence seem Flemington because what we saw on Saturday Dhabi is they used the entire tract I didn't just stick to the fence that didn't stick for the day in the middle like I'm Dan wide and we sold melody battle-winning Michael Grand and also fees impact and then towards the end of the day that I wish shifting off and leaving the fence about four horses of a gap to the inside running row also it was a great spread right across the track all wouldn't expect it to be too much I've got to get through it on Melbourne Cup Day and jockeys go to pick their best path so Jewish touched on it a little bit of inclement weather I think it'll just help Flemington because it's such a great draining track they've prepared these track for the full days play on Oregon it was really fair on Saturday more I'm really looking forward to catching up with the hall of fame trying to dive is he's got three runners in the Melbourne Cup and we're going to get him on the final on a little bit lighter so he won't be able to help some throughout the show today I'm looking forward to that is your task done well let let's go through all the runners one by one in Reis Book Order Starting With Number One cross candidate last year obviously a little bit more white penalty the she does a two-horse classy Ohio UCS V8's now with goodell from blue forever because of course Canis Ripa but that's last year that's irrelevant now you go to carry fifty seven and a half doing now you can get thirty two hundred Mehta's after one the Melvin copy he wants him otherwise he went to do boy I wanNA group to their he started two dollars fifty in this ledger most recent run looking Ren fourth I think back in that rice it was a little bit of a worrying run but he has the pay over a lot of these other international forces put it this way Celli police and absolutely gun he's done it before these horses this is done it before he can win the rice he's not my talk for everybody can definitely win the rice is to have been more helpful because I'm going to trust him at Flemington Lymington as a genuine style what we saw last year was that three year old northern hemisphere hemisphere foam come to the fore carried fifty two key allies he was the best background Gripe Gripe profile leading into that rice since then Josie mentioned you want my which was terrific winning out of the thirty two hundred meters so to me that look walk a whole studied improved to travel back tonight in and then he ran out of a full thousand meters he got one point nine links off stratovarius in gripe form rice He's one for what it Saratoga totally against them. If we do get that speed setup up. I like your horse. I think he's the one to fear from off the pace <hes> Dr Mounting from the outside for showing and you do get Johnny who will get some forward position and depending on the feeling of course and when you're one advantage under these under these conditions out posted horses that have to run out in the three four five paths you do get the advantage of the crown. The crown of of either course is invariably got better footing and there may be horses that struggled to quicken in spots where you know the turf is a little sodden and invariably. If you are a horse that's going to take a a bit of an outside stalking path you get good footing and so that is the kind of offsets the what what some people would perceive as a negative post. I mean he's still gonNA have to work out a trip but dr mouth is going to be a price and and and I I liked what I saw going into this and really fun feature today and glad that we didn't get so much rain that they have to take everything off the turf including this grade three James best the lock to you and to Margo and and the brilliant racing team tomorrow it should be really fun. "Twenty-second horses died out of Santa Anita. And they're still it's still mystery. They can't figure that out. We're going to get onto another subject though with a guy named mardi Irby who's executive director of animal wellness action. Because Bill has been introduced by Andy Barr of Kentucky and Representative Paul Tonko. Also house representatives the horse racing integrity act. So welcome back to the show mardi glad to have you here. Hey, gary. How are you today? Thanks for having me again. Indeed. That's awful. What's going on out there in Santa Anita, and it's still a mystery twenty-second horse dead there. But this horse racing integrity act has to do with what doping. It does. And it actually is tied to the injuries and deaths at Santa Anita. I'd say I the owners of attracted Santa Anita. The at group are very progressive in dealing with this issue. And they also support the legislation that we're talking about today that was introduced earlier this morning by congressman Barr from Lexington. Congressman Paul Tonka represent Saratoga springs. New York legislation would ban the use of medication and performance enhancers on race day. Many folks out there believe and have said that primarily one drug known as late. Has been very harmful over the years to horses and in caused the skeletal structure to dehydrate and fracture. And therefore that creates and leads to in many instances some of the breakdowns on the track. That are in the injuries are mass with pain agents and other drugs. So it's kind of a race to the bottom with this medication and drugging and we're here to help try to eliminate that. So the Bill itself horse racing integrity act. What is is asking for uniformity across America because there's a difference in the various policies state to state. Does it would give authority to the US anti doping agency? You started overseas. The Olympics and on strong and many other sports to have a national standard where the rules are all the same have out of competition testing in competition testing and then eliminate again those drugs on race day. So the Bill is introduced today, and then you obviously encouraging people to call an offer support to their various legislators. Absolutely. Yes. I would recommend anyone be willing to two two two four three one to ask their members of congress to support HR seventeen fifty four. That's the horse racing integrity yet. Horseracing integrity act, and that's HR seventeen fifty four. All right. Well, I appreciate the update on that Marty. Thanks so much and come back and visit next time you're at thanks for having me theory. Have a great day. All right, mardi Irby. He's executive director of animal wellness action. And again, it's the horse racing integrity act. Just introducing is asking for uniformity and what we do with our beautiful creatures. On race tracks across America. It is a Bill cosponsored by Kentucky and Andy bar in New Yorker, Paul Tonko in the house. This report is sponsored by Ashley homestore. Newsradio..
