Donald Trump: Coping With the Liberal B.S.

"Do you cope with all of this? I'm not sure the average American could put up with all of the crap you get and part of my language, sir. But the cramp you get from the deep state and the mainstream media and the Democrats. Well, you know, I get it a lot two days ago, a friend of mine. I actually mentioned it last night. I was doing a friend of yours, Sean Hannity. I did a show last night. And I think it's going to be on tonight also. It's a double. We had a going so good that I think you got two hours out of it. You want to know the truth. But I mentioned that guy came up very successful, man. Probably you heard of him. I will give you this name, but a very successful guy. And he has me pulled me aside. He said, could I ask you a question? How do you take it? How do you take what they do? And I said, do I have a choice? I mean, it'd be wonderful if I had a choice. I don't. These people are sick. I really believe they hate our country. There's something wrong when you don't want to have borders when you don't want to have low gasoline prices and energy prices. We were energy independent and even dominant. We're getting to be dominant. We would have been more dominant than Russia and Saudi Arabia combined in a short while. But all these different things that we did with the biggest tax cuts and regulation cuts, everything, no inflation, we had to think going so good. And to think that we had it going so good. And how can anybody be against a border when you look at what's happening? You know, you probably heard two days ago. Venezuela dumped their prisoners into the United States of America. You saw that they opened up at jail cells. Very bad people. Very bad people, mister president.

So just give us the latest on that. The DoJ has accepted well, Trump's candidate for special. It's ridiculous, and we would even need a special master, but go ahead. Yeah, okay. All right, the DoJ has agreed to accept one of the two candidates. Right. That the Trump people put up. Luckily, it wasn't the federal society guy. Right. Right. It was the other guy. The retired judge. Last night on her infomercial that she runs on Fox business. Maria bartiromo ripped the hell out of the Trump guys judge. Wow. Really? Yeah, because he had made a ruling, you know, that was contrary to the wishes of dear leader at some point, who knows. I mean, you know, there were so many rulings since 2015 that, you know, it's like Dolores umbridge was president. Nailing all these things up on the wall. Yeah. But anyway, yeah, so, you know, this guy's gonna, I mean, I think this guy's gonna like, if he's smart, what he'll do is he'll spend two days of intensely ignoring the pile of paper and say, hey, you know what? DoJ did fine. We'll just we'll just let it go. All right, it's about delay, like everything Trump has ever done. Absolutely. That's been those two cases. James Roguski Issues a Call to Action to YOU

"Us now is James ruskie. He is leading the charge against the WHO, he has some news to share, and a call to action for all of you against the Chinese Communist Party purchased asset known as the World Health Organization. Welcome to the program. Charlie, thank you very much for having me. The timing is very, very important. The WHO is conducting what I think is a trade and an attempt to create propaganda under the guise of a public comment period about their quote unquote pandemic treaty negotiations. Unbeknownst to most people in the world, every nation has delegates to the WHO, and they've been given instructions to submit proposals for this international pandemic treaty by September 15th. They've also been instructed to submit proposals for amendments to the international health regulations by September 30th. The WHO is going to be having a meeting on the last two days of September 29th and 30th. And what they've concocted is starting on this past Friday Saturday, Sunday today, ending tomorrow at 8 a.m. eastern. I'm sorry, 8 a.m. Pacific time. So there's only about 21 or 22 hours left. They're asking people around the world to submit 92nd videos, your opinion about what the WHO should or should not do. There you go. You're showing the basic information. It's the deadline is 5 p.m. in Geneva. For an audience in the United States, that's obviously early morning tomorrow. So there's less than a day for people to do this. Now, arguably, in my opinion, this is a psychological operation, a masquerading as a public comment period. They're asking everyone for their identification. You have to hold it up to the screen and have it be identified. And so right off the bat, that turns off a lot of people who don't want to participate in something like that, which filters out opinions that may be different than what the WHO would like to hear. And then they've said they're going to curate whatever it is they do receive into essentially a mixtape. They're going to make two, three hour compilation videos, which would ultimately have 240 people from the entire world.

Tiffany Haddish Isn't Laughing Anymore Amidst Sexual Assault Claims

"Like that story I told you guys about the other day, but the comedians are spears and Tiffany Haddish. Who are now being sued for alleging alleged allegedly sexually abusing a minor, almost a decade ago. When I first said this story, you know, involved, the lawyers involved were like, oh, it's nothing, even Tiffany Haddish's lawyer said, it's rubbish, it's all rubbish. Well, it's not. And the other day, Tiffany Haddish finally spoke up and talked about it, this goes back to a 2014 video called through a pedophiles eyes that she made with Ari spears, and it had to do with Tiffany using a brother and sister team. One was 14. The boy was 7. And it was this video for funny or die with a girl was supposed to be playing with a sub sandwich along with Tiffany and they were kind of practicing fellatio on it. It's all gross. It's the whole thing is gross. So funny and di pulled it down, but like 6 or 7 years later. So it was up there for a long time. So on Instagram, Tiffany Haddish the other day. You actually yesterday said, unfortunately, because there's, you know, she said, clearly, this was a sketch, was intended to be comedic. It wasn't funny at all. I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there's very little I can say right now, but she didn't look good saying this. She looked like, oh shit. I'm in a bad spot. So there's an 8 page complaint that I briefed through where they were accused of grooming and then molesting the 14 year old girl and a 7 year old girl's brother, both miners at the time, obviously, and the horrible thing is, you know, there's this video in there and there's also links to see photographs of this stupid skit. And there's no parent or guardian president which really alarms me and even though the mother is acting like a mother bear protecting these kids, where the hell were you that day? Well, those two days, whatever it was. But, you know, how to just attorney was like, everybody has looked at this. Now, it's all rubbish. It's a shakedown. You know what? Doesn't sound so bogus. Remembering Playing Golf in a Nuclear Missile Alert

"That was the year, that was the year that everybody thought we were going to die because they sent the nuclear missile from North Korea. You remember that? I was unbelievable. So I was staying out in ease Tom Lulu with one of my original backers. And we're saying out there and we get this so I have a leap tea time. It comes in the morning and we're saying another player harkens and his wife and a lot of weights up. There's like is this man like dude nothing like over go downstairs and it's like not not fun downstairs like the 11 cup of coffee like all right one I don't think it's happening because just like what America just shoot to sing down like if we know what's coming like, I don't know I believe in America so much like I think it would just shoot this thing down and be fun. Okay and then we're staying with this. My backer very wealthy individual. He's like, oh, we'll describe a fucking bone. Not gonna leave and it'll be fine. So now we're fine. But then it was like, okay, well, if we're why are we drinking coffee at 8 a.m.? We're really going down. Why don't we grab some bottles of booze and get after the safe lot three hours and really enjoy our time? That's where I was. That's a hell of a deal. It was terrifying. Honestly, we were staying there on site and that was the first time that year that I was on the final group on a Saturday. And I was playing with Brian harman and Zach Johnson later, like 2 o'clock, whatever's late. And I played my ass off the first two days, and then sure enough, the one time I get in the final group, the world's gonna end and there's a new coming. So this nukes coming from North Korea and you remember the sirens that went off in Honolulu. They started. I was part of outside of town. I didn't know anything was happening now, but it really according to the hotels. It was mayhem. So you missed all of the craziness. I was down there, I was down there, they had like a little player breakfast thing in the hotel set up. I was down there just getting some coffee, and then I started hearing this siren. It was that. And then I looked out the window and you know they had the dolphin area, whatever. And then people started running, like sprinting, like old people, old fat people started running spreading in all of them where I was like, what the hell is going on? What the hell's going on? Like, you don't see old sad people running around all the time. And then people started running by me and then somebody said, there's a nuclear missile coming this way. And then the loudspeaker said, you know, emergency emergency, take over ears, nuclear missile, headed this way, and I was like, what the hell?

"two day" Discussed on CNBC's Fast Money

"To fast money. Despite the sea of red today, energy finishing in the green, the best performing sector in the S&P 5 of the top 6 performers in the index coming from the oil patch. And natural gas continuing to rocket higher, the commodity is up more than 70% this quarter. So where do we go from here and what names stand to benefit? Tim, this is pretty incredible when you look at the energy trade compared to almost everything else on the board. Well, Christopher talked about leadership in the energy sector, and I think we have it again. And the ability to hold that $90 level in Brent or WTI, you've seen the reassertion of the thesis that to me is difficult to challenge. You can challenge demand side. You can't challenge supply side. And when it comes to knock gas, what you're also seeing is that U.S. nac gas is really a solution for Europe that is going to continue to drive, I think, smart investment coming out of the U.S.. U.S. shale players are going to have $200 billion in free cash flow in 2022. It's incredible to think that the transformation of the balance sheet. So talking about energy as a proper investment as opposed to just a trade to be caught in the middle of either a global geopolitical event or supply disruption. I think you have to think about these companies differently. And if you look at the XLF, excuse me the XLE and the breakout off of those lows and really more or less holding that 200 day, I think the price action obviously has been very constructive. You're now not buying energy on a dip. XLE is outperformed and been up almost 30% in the last 30 Sessions. So the dynamics on the macro, we heard more of it today. Libyan disruption, the fact that Iran is apparently enriching uranium. I'll let other people decide whether that's happening or not. But seeing Iranian oil flow anytime soon, I don't think so. Seeing the supply disruption in some of the issues and then OPEC meets on September 5th and I think and guys alluded to this too. I think OPEC plus and OPEC and these trips we've spent to the Middle East to see if we can buddy up. I think OPEC is going to do what's best for OPEC. And right now, that may be higher prices. I think doesn't OPEC always do what's best for OPEC. Well, your WTI is sitting just below about 97, but really natural gas disorder, what we were talking about here, leading the way higher guy you were nodding a lot during a lot of Tim's points. I don't know where you want to take off there, but I guess I'll just kick it off with natural gas there. I mean, what's the play to make when you've already seen such a big run can it continue to go? Do you play the commodity or do you actually play some of something on the equity side? Well, I mean, the equities are tough and you look at a name like and I'm not advocating this, but just for context, look at the name like tellurian, which was got just obliterated today on a day where Nat gas really didn't do all that much. So neck gas place are difficult, but you're trying to connect the dots here and I still think you say what the leopard energy names did names like we talked about them over and over again. PSX, names like APA. Oil service names of rally 30% the Tim's point probably still further room to the upside. But I'll say this, I think for emphasis, you know, a lot of things lined up for oil to go lower. The SPR release, which we can debate whether it was politically expedient or actually did something, doesn't matter. But what's really important here, I think a lot of people sold crude oil in my opinion thinking this global slowdown was going to affect demand. I totally understand that. The problem is it hasn't yet demand is still probably pre 19 level. So the demand is there. And there's no supply at least very limited supply. So to me that it does crude going higher and I think you want to stay in these levered energy names. Bono and do you believe in sort of this fundamental argument and if supply and demand are out of whack, then prices just have to go higher? Certainly, I mean, clearly with any commodities supply and demand are really going to be your drivers, but I think it's bigger than that. Previously, when we talked about the shift away from technology, what we said was, listen, the big 5 really have what others don't, and that's of cash, fortress balance sheet. That was the perceived margin of safety. Now it's free cash flow, guy Tim both mention it. It's dividend yield, and it's the inflation hedge. So we have uncertainty around all of these things. I want something that's going to return cash or going to reinvest it in a way that I believe is actually going to be accretive. I want companies that are generating significant amounts of free cash flow. You're seeing the antithesis of that in the large growth at any price type of names. You're seeing those get punished right as you're seeing names that generate excellent free cash flow kind of straight higher. And the inflation story seems to be a bit murky. So I want something that's going to give me the benefit of free cash flow and return cash to me and the offsetting of inflationary pressures if they continue to persist persist to the upside. So aside from the supply and demand story, which I do think our tailwinds for these names, I think they also offer those other three aspects that give investors a bit of calm and solace in an environment where there's just so much uncertainty and unknown. Strong financials, not too much to ask for, right? When you're looking into a different things to invest in Bono, and thank you. Well, there's a lot more fast to

We have Dan Nathan. Guy adami and Tim Seymour. And we will start with a market rebound running out of steam. The S&P trying and failing to bounce back after Friday's losses briefly turning positive before closing out in the red again. The Dow and NASDAQ also hosting a second day of losses. The Dow falling below its 50 day moving average for the first time in over a month, the NASDAQ, more than 25% below its record high. Meanwhile, the dollar was back in rally mode touching its highest level in over 20 years earlier in the day, treasury yields also on the rise with the ten year at its highest in two months. So as we head into the final few trading days of the month, what are moves like all this telling you Dan? Well, I think it continued to take profits in stocks that you've gained. Very nicely off the June lows here. The S&P 500 was up about 19% from those lows, the NASDAQ was up more than that. In the last two days, since chair Powell told us there's going to be some pain associated with their battle with inflation. That was not the reason why the market rallied over the course of the summer. And if you think about what has happened here, fine, I think a lot of people can get their arms around the fact that maybe we have wreaked peak levels in some of these inflationary readings, but what happens to the economy? What happens to corporate profits next is probably the thing that weighs on the stock market and retest those lows back in June. In my opinion, that we saw in the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ and I'll just say one other point. We've been talking about this really weird sort of economic environment we've been in. We had some readings about recession, but people kind of explain them away. Then they say, well, the economic data as it relates to employment is not actually suggesting that. When you think about corporate profits though, right now, companies have been able to pass through some of the adverse effects of inflation to consumers, but right now we're seeing savings rates really starting to get hit. We're seeing, again, the fed going into another phase of tightening as it relates to QT. So the cost of money has gotten a lot more expensive. So to me, I just think we're going to see companies not able to pass it through. They're going to see their margins being pressured. I think that's going to weigh on equity valuations over the next few months. What do you make of today's move to a tent rally? And then just lose steam right at the end. Sort of continuing what we ended up seeing at the end of the day on Friday. Well, I think it's better than the worst case scenario, which would have been us opening on the lows and then pressing and establishing new lows. So you did see that there was still some demand in the market as we came off from we bounced from the session lows, but you would have liked to see what I believe Steve mentioned on Friday, opening, establishing lows, and then rallying squarely up and to the right off of those lows. And we didn't see that. And I think a lot of the points that Dan mentioned are going to play through. We point to Q two earnings and we say, okay, for the most part, it looks like we've grown at about 8 to 9%. We've beat expectations, earnings haven't cratered, but it's going to take quite a bit of time for this quantitative tightening to kind of play through. It's going to take a bit more time for this narrative to play through and for us to see exactly how the consumer is going to be affected. In terms of retesting the lows, I mean, I think it's very much in the cards. We saw a P multiples expand from about 15 and a half to about 19 and now we're trading back towards 18 ish. I think these average around 15 or 16. So that does say that there is some room to the downside still to be had. And guy, what do you make about comments today from Neil kashkari? You said in an interview actually, I was happy to see how chair pals Jackson hole speech was received. I assume he means he was happy with the selloff. He saw on Friday, potentially what continued here today. Proper decorum prohibits me from saying what I really think about those comments, but I'm sure the viewing and listening audience knows given my track record with the Federal Reserve. But it's ten set on our call. And I will echo that because I thought the same thing. This was probably one of the most dovish people for the longest period of time at the Federal Reserve was sort of, I want to use the word mocking people that said this was anything but transitory. Now here we are. It seems to be as hawkish as everybody else. So I think he's finally seems to have figured it out. It's better late than never the old thing better to, you know, the best day to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the next best day is today. With that said, that's why the market took the next leg lower. And quickly, what I find really almost amusing is when the don't fight the fed mantra is in Vogue when the fed is adding liquidity. Nobody seems to wave our or blink, yet somehow don't fight the fed in this environment. Everybody seems to want to question and quite frankly, I think it's pretty simple on both ends of the spectrum. Tim, go ahead and jump in there. Guy kind of brought you in early. Well, so right. We've been critical of the 180° on fed sentiment and within the fed. What's interesting is as much as what our fed said is also what other central banks around the world also said, remember, they were in Jackson hole as well. Universally hawkish around the world, especially in places where I think there are economies have left to do. So I think the implications for the global economy, we all are doing that math. I think we've also in this early discussion on the show talked about where S&P earnings are, we're almost all the way through second quarter earnings, and it was the worst thing about second quarter earnings is that they were very good. If you're a market participant, but back to what guy said and in terms of, you know, what fighting the fed, I look at positioning in markets.

"The milk punch. It's been the drink of the moment for too long to ignore the new york times said of them this summer in the first six months of twenty twenty one the rate of mentions of espresso martinez in. Us food and restaurant reviews is up nearly three hundred percent from the same period three years earlier. This is all according to yelps data science team which traces trends dimensions of dish names and reviews from users. There's now even a candidate and something that my martini morals will simply not allow me to get behind. I myself had my first ever espresso martini. This past february as a martini traditionalist. I took a hard stance long ago. That i'd withhold ordering anything but my traditional drink a simple tito's martini served up with two olives or maybe even some cocktail onions to mix things up. I sat at the montage hotel. The hotel where. I got married just a year before and i sipped their version of one while overlooking the waves crash from the pacific on from the lobby bar patio with three beans floating like louise. And the frothy whitecaps. My world was opened up to something i had previously been morally opposed to. I sent a single photo to the person urging me to get when the most former guest of this podcast brought merryman and he could not have approved more with each sip. Came a slowly building confidence that the night would be more and more entertaining than i had originally thought and with my skin burnt to a crisp and the perfect weather for a sweater and some shorts i felt like i had finally found at the place truthfully. I've thought about that day ever since. Was that going to be the best espresso martini. That i'll ever have. Should i have led off somewhere less picturesque in less meaningful to me or should i simply repeat that saying that. You always remember your first with everyone that i order. Now on either way might indulges in. These has been few and far between ever since not for any particular reason outside of perhaps not needing that much of a caffeine liquor combination that late in the day but one night a few weeks ago i had a bit of extra time on my hands and open night at home with nothing to truly. Do i surveyed the contents of my liquor cabinet. Only to realize that i didn't have much in the world of mixers but when i looked down beside it however i saw something that became an inspiration are an espresso machine. Hark the herald angels sing. I have espresso. i have martini. And now i've espresso martini supplies or so. I thought unfortunately for me. I got a bit ahead of myself that night as it turns out i actually did not have the correct supplies. Apparently when dick brad. So debuted the drink at fred's club in london in the nineteen eighties. He didn't simply make a normal martini with espresso in it. And when i think about how olives would mix with the bitterness of coffee i can honestly see why however when a famous model asks for something that would wake her up as well as in. Pardon my language here fuck her up. The present day concoction was born two aunts vodka. A half ounce qaluwa a half ounce of espresso or an ounce of espresso a half half ounce of simple syrup and yes three beans to garnish the top shake strain and serve and we're off to the racist. Don't want it to sweet. You can eat. You can skip either the colusa or the simple syrup or you can substitute any any of the ingredients for anything else as those small little intricacies. Or what makes martini so perfect. In general to me. So while we're all just now easing back into group dinners or just being social for that matter around espressos before a big night may be the single most perfect move if your average age group is above thirty. Put down your advil. Vodkas say are of wa to the days when four loko had caffeine for that extra boost look no further than a trademark espresso martini. Whether you're trying to wake up or simply get well. I think you know as you've probably seen this summer. It's pretty difficult to walk down the heart cells. "There's a moment when you realize what you've done you only light in. Your bedroom isn't coming from the television. Your alarm clock or even streetlight outside instead it's beaming directly from your hand into your face when you lay your head down to rest. You had ambitions of making it to bed at a reasonable time. Instead you've now found yourself endlessly scrolling through an app. That's the time to make you do just that lose track of time and keep you up at night. of course i'm talking about tick-tock the app. That's taken over. Well pretty much everything. A few months back i discussed how hilariously dangerous going on tick tock and be at night one moment. You're turning your apple. Tv off in the next year watching some college kid drink twelve beers consecutively before drunkenly rating them. However i'm actually somewhat proud of myself or the last month or so. I've reduced my time on the app. nearly tenfold. there's been no strategy to it other than knowing. I shouldn't open it but it's lowered my overall screen time by at least ten percent since making the change and in doing so. I've also identified the various wormholes at the app. Gets me stuck in these. My friends are the most dangerously relaxing. Tick tock wormholes that will waste your time are. I is the most old man one that there could be landscape talk. I much like everyone else. Love a perfectly manicured lawn. in fact i'd go as far to say that lying on a blank on a well. Manicured lawn is a perfect hangover cure. And perhaps that's why landscape talk has rapid hands around me as someone who knows very little about lawn maintenance in general as i do not have a long currently the amount of relaxation. I get watching time last. Lawnmowers unquantifiable. do i own an edger. No but i'll be damned if i won't get lost watching a random british man edge the walkway to his house for twenty minutes before realising all the videos are essentially pretty much the same but the bush trimming oh the bush trimming. It's just the best. It's hands down the most satisfying part of landscape. Talk to trimmer perfectly shaping. The bushes the loose branches falling to the ground leaving behind a blank landscape of greenery. I get chills just thinking about it and hey maybe when i actually own a house and have some landscaping equipment of my own. This'll be the very reason. I get too far into it. We also have something that i'm calling squish talk and while i'm not sure if it's actually called squish talk that's what i'm going to call it from here on forward because that's what it is to me if that term doesn't ring any bells for you fear not it's essentially just watching high-powered machines or even just someone's hand crushing things that are satisfying to watch get crushed. If i had to guess the satisfaction i derive from this likely comes from being a child of the nineties. When nickelodeon reigns supreme in gac was pushed on us at every single commercial break but now things have kind of escalated hydraulic presses. Crushing anything from a pile of hard candy to clay razors or ice cream scoops navigating balls of sand or my favorite people taking squishy solids enforcing forcing them through strangers as a child who hated clay an art class. I almost feel like i'm having a as i trudge through accounts like oddly satisfying santana's in one that i really liked called crushing it but we also have another personal favorite of mine. Fold talk admittedly. I only follow one user. Who fits this mold. The folding lady. I don't know who she is or what she looks like. But i think. I want her to fold every single thing in my house. I'm actually jealous of anyone that she lives with because her house appears to be the most organized placed on planet earth which automatically makes it one of the most relaxing places on planet earth. Beat a towel. A pair of socks or yes even a fitted bedsheet the way in which she perfectly creases. Enfolds everything is both inspiring and addicting. Every video seems to end with one fold fitting perfectly into another just nestled in like a mother. Kuala hugging her baby have. I started putting your practices into play around my place. No no. let's not get ahead ourselves not yet but let's just say i'm in the learning phase. Another is window washing tech. Talk a beautifully clean place. Where windows are completely covered in suds. Only be be completely cleaned or shaped into something. Mind-blowing you wanna see a window washer dryer mercedes-benz logo and soap look no further. You want to see someone slowly squeezing off the outside of an office building in manhattan boy. Do i have the place for you. Traditionally speaking yes. I think there's something about the karate kid wax on wax off methodology that calms my nerves. But anytime that something can be left completely clean and symmetrical yup. I'm pretty pretty in on that in. Finally we have a personal favorite of mine. Which i think you could probably already guess. Yes it is wick. Talk the place on tick-tock where all scented candle content lives a place where i see proper practices contribute to the long lives of the candles that we love a place where i can see. The candle reviews for candles. That i can never even dream of affording a place where people get overly sassy about true don versus dip. Tc a place that. I like to call home. Is there a part of me. Who wished i could be a major player in the wick. Talk game you know. Maybe a little bit but as long as everyone listening keeps trimming their wigs. Like i know you are. I think i'll be all right. We all have that one essential. That's an absolute. Must this time of year for me. It's wine is about having fun so i to keep the good times going with equally. Good wine. I prefer light reds in the summertime. Maybe some crisp whites and i'd like to drinking chilled as spitzer laid-back nights at home or even on the water while or having a barbecue anywhere that there's a glass of wine that's cold with some some do around it. I am in on. And since i get incredible wind shift right to my door from i leave. I have my summer staple already covered for every occasion. If you're not familiar. Starfleet intelligence is really really cool to me. It just makes her even cooler. I feel like. I would love to hear this as an audio book or an audio trauma. I e you know think well most of the sardar novels. At least the ones are leases audiobooks. But i think it all depends who's actually near rating audiobook whether scooter person and i'm a nerd. And because i am not a. I'm not a big fish. Finishing people are. But i have read all of the current ones so all discovery era an carter once. They have really how that book for that. Never mind this fall coming but a lot of these stories that they're telling they center around the characters that other folks around so this story's made me underground. He and raf zemin. Okay is the main character. The story really cool threes on these folks especially when you have got every were very much. Mike story Other than you have these books editor telling side stories about stay Ruined silly end. George ago Which are really fun to dive into and their time doing the same thing with the car novels. First car novels folks around him. Run on regular roy and other car had very little to all and an excellent is folks senior radios and so i think Just really getting to see the stories that focus around reels rocky win the means of. Lana lana card. Basically focus on the card so get died in an learn more characters. That makes these books. So i have my qualms with star trek because so far but the characters that i really like i absolutely love and roffe is one of them and rio says the other. I'm really looking forward to fleshing out these new characters more it's kinda theme with me and my star trek fan now. I want nunu more new star trek. But we're getting some heather. "Do world and all over. Well anything else they wanna talk about. So you're out you're not gonna have any information very often that that's fair that's fair and lower deck's to This panel will include lower deck's who for my money had about as good of a first season of star trek as you can hope for. Expectations are high for lower deck season. Two when you say yeah. They're definitely high. But i i think they will too. I feel like they're so much. Love for star trek all over lower deck's that they they pretty much. It almost feels like they can't miss because they just get it so much that they get what people are asking for from them at people know what they want from lower deck's and they're gonna give it to him so if nothing else if we get like a really funny trailer for season two of lower deck's i'll be happy but a little bit about strange. New worlds would probably make other people. Happy to move added. Probably right allie. Right probably right. Which brings me to a little confession heather I gotta tell you. I i hate to come off as entitled. And that's not what i'm trying to do and i'm willing to be patient of course last year with the pandemic The post production for discovery season three got pushed off for a little bit and that was completely understandable. And it's completely understandable here with the state of the world. But i kinda what some new star trek had our accounting want some new star trek in. I'm getting a little billion the about it. Well the all 'cause i mean. This is literally actually one word month to lower next mirrors and we're recording slowly. Release tomorrow july well so literally one more month man what that is. I completely forgot about that date. I completely forgot so you know what thank you. Thank you heather. That's that's totally cool. That's totally okay. I think right now of the new star trek that is premiering hopefully in twenty twenty one or early twenty twenty two. i'd say lower deck's is the one. I'm looking forward to the most. I think it might be because it just kind of came out of nowhere and was so enjoyable and so much fun for me. So thank you for telling me that. Thank you for reminding me that. The next season of lower deck's really isn't that far away. That's that's very reassuring. I really appreciate that. It's put it in our podcasting perspective. We only have one more episode of after this long when we have no talk about talk about oh man. Thank god. But i'm ready. I don't know about you in. I don't know about our listeners. But i'm ready. I'm ready for some new star. Trek already taught me to all right. So we've got a one more bit of upcoming business. I thought this was really intriguing. Because i'll be honest. Everybody the star trek books in the star trek. Novels have never been something. I've dove too deeply into but this one really caught my attention. it really did In twenty twenty two april twenty six twenty twenty two there will be a star. Trek picard novel entitled star trek. Second self and this will revolve around ruffy According to the plot it. Here's the description. Following the explosive events seen in season one of star trek picard roffe muscular finds herself torn between her old life as a starfleet intelligence officer or something a little more tame teaching at the academy. Perhaps the decision is made for her though when a message from an old contact. A romulus spy is received. Asking for immediate aid with the help of christopher and dr agnes giradi and assistance from zone luc picard roffe decides to take on this critical mission and quickly learns that past sins. Never stay buried. Finding the truth will be complicated and deadly. I've said that coming out of star trek card sees one. I absolutely loved ruffy. I loved her character. I loved michelle hurts. Performance and more from her to me is a win. So i feel like one. This might be a star trek novel. That i pick up and it would be the first in a really really long time. I love the roffe character and heather. I'm going to throw one out at. You gonna throw it out at shoo in and listeners. Let me know what you think about. This project pod on twitter. Tell me what you think. Heather you like the doctor who right you enjoy the time he wind me. yes now. One big part of the doctor who franchise is the audio dramas. they'll get a paul mcgann I know christopher eccleston has recently been doing some audio dramas..

"It for sure. I plan to. I plan to Now speaking of theatrical screenings for star trek movies weren't going a little bit out of order. But we're going come back around let's jump into new business and talk about the news from star trek that star trek for the voyage home aka. The one with the whales will be showing at fathom events for specials theatrical screenings in august. We're going to get a theatrical weekend for star trek four. This is really cool. And and i'm gonna talk a little bit about this. I'm going to gush abell theatrical screenings for a little bit but i really like this choice of a movie because i think this is one that people can really rally around heather. I i really think that this was a good choice. Oh was i know. I have seen the one of the point of. It's in a long long long long long long time. And again he means you in hatton is that is coming to the always would be very issues to make sure i watch it again because i am a sutter four federal theatricals screenings. And i think there's just some experience watching the movie on a big mediator agreeing that it is launching Your computer phone home it. it's so It is the way movies made being zoo. It steph and more. I could not agree more in. I love theatrical screenings. Like this that that are special events Because from the anime side of thanks. This is something that happens. Semi-frequently with a lot of anime theatrical releases and i have seen them become real big community gatherings and saying they're almost like many conventions when these things go down for example a couple of years ago when The the dragon. Ball z movies battle of the gods and the movies from dragon ball super were being aired in the theaters limited screenings. You saw so many fans just intermingling. And just celebrating their love of this franchise and it was such a fun event to be a part of more than just seeing the movie on the big screen. it was just a great opportunity to be around. People like minded people a. I think that this is exactly what this is going to be. I think people are going to be looking to get out. I think people are going to look forward to seeing this movie It's directed by leonard. Nimoy it's got an environmentalist story catherine hicks in it. Why love and everything and i. I'm really excited. I will be getting tickets as soon as i can. I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing some people at my screening. That might even be in qasr play because that happens with things like this and i just think it's really cool so jazzed. He later all. But i had been to sewn special. The activists the asheville screenings in my area particularly of who which got huge crowds. Like you re for the enemies so the democrats are out there. You just hit it at the right time with right movie and i think that the most wanted to turn that a lot of people. I completely agree then before you know. We'll have the motion picture to do it all over again all right so also it new business Anson mount You might have heard of him out. He's he's an actor nothing too big. He doesn't have a whole lot going on He tweeted that star trek strange. New worlds is wrapping up. Its first season of production. It's it's nearly done and while we don't officially have a premier date yet. I feel like if they're this close to finishing production. Were probably going to get a date very soon and dare. I say it might even be at the animation showcase at san diego comic con. Now it's saying that at cbo comecon. It's going to be focusing on star trek prodigy and lower deck's but heather. I think that. I i will say i would not be surprised if we get a little bit more from star trek a san diego comic con. Because if we're this close to wrapping up season one of strange new worlds. I think something's coming you know you don't think so. I think that they any world show exactly how much everyone is reading for. It and you are not going to get any news. Very last second comes to that. So like their rob here at the last anyway way like two weeks from now we do that. They're gonna leave you hanging in a says for this show as long as humanly possible. Because i mean we say over for the discovery in. They started filming a little bit before world a trailer for season two card which started filling around the world. We could have had world trailer. I know there's no reason why we got that for. They're using not to show you thing because they know strange new worlds right now. They own hype skyrocket. Even more not an win. Anything about the. John is waiting to be all up. Prodigy refining prodigy. Were finally going to get a priority for variety and.

In april coming up as a two day event similar to they did last year because of issues going on with the pandemic and all that i thought that was a brilliant move by the wwe one of the few things. I definitely on percent buying and agree with with wbz. 'cause i don't do that a lot haven't done that a lot. In twenty years one hundred percent agree with anything but it's been since nineteen ninety eight that get into two thousand three that i think i actually actually the day before stone. Cold steve austin turned heel. But anyways i wanna go ahead and talk about wrestlemainia today event. It is a two day event again this year tampa stadium. They're going to have two days only got a car lineup. As far as great matches. And i don't want to go in the matches just yet because it is subject to change in evernote with corona virus. But i want to ask you this. Wrestlemanias to day event the upcoming dallas and i think los angeles wrestlemanias in the next two years are still scheduled as this time as a one day event..

We're gonna talk about that in part one of our wrestlemainia preview coming up as well. But i my friend i know. You've been checking out some oscar favorites. I know a lot of people talking about manque. Lot of people are talking about noman. Land be of people talk about the five bloods monari sneaking in there as well. I want to hear thoughts. You said you checked out not one not two not three before the potential best picture candidates. Let's hear your thoughts on who you think might be the best of the bunch you seen so far yeah job. I want to preface. With the fact that i have not seen the father. Judaism the black messiah monari nor the sound of metal yet however i have seen mink nomad land promising young woman and travel chicago seven. And i do have to tell you promising. Young woman might be one of my favorite movies. I've seen in. The last few years can controversial decisions. That was just recently promising. Young woman will not be coming to. Us theaters or will not be introduced into us theaters. as far as a wide audience. Even it was kind of controversial. The fact that we're now opening up again theaters and then it's going straight to vod so kind of disappointed to hear that because like you said promising. Young woman is getting a lot of good buzz. The writer director. They're all getting as far as the claim that they deserve and getting a lot of projects from it. They're getting a lot of that notice in hollywood. Which is the the key. You've got a good project so everybody wants to go ahead and their next prime exactly so. Tell me your thoughts on all these great films that you checked out so far. Yeah i mean. We just literally watch promising. Young woman last night rented it on amazon. You know for sixty nine five nine whatever it was outstanding movie but you know the next one up on the list make man i think make is an outstanding film shot on red cameras and black and white. It was beautifully done for me. It was a really enjoyable experience. A visually stunning movie to me. Even though it was only black and white but they did some wonderful things with the sets and the costuming other than that dude nomad land y really really heart wrenching tale at the same time you know. Put a very real spin on some of the things that have that have touched communities across the nation. And lets you know that there's people out there that are really roughing it you know. And sometimes roughing. It is living in in in a in a van and community community looking for your next job.

"Hey there good morning. This is Jeff Ski Kinsey and this is episode. Sixteen Z or Z. Said of the voice. First Careers podcast. So what's that all about well everyday that we do a podcast we pick a target market? Today we've got some administrative stuff to talk about factor were now sixty two days old as startup but if the episode ends in t it means it's aimed at talent insights for people that are job seekers if it ends in an H. That program is designed to reach out to hiring managers to give them the inside track that they need to get the people that they need the talent and get them hired but today I won't talk about. What am I working on Day? Sixty two in is gone as fast as I had hoped. Yes or no. I have high expectations. We've made some major amazing breakthroughs and yet they're still pieces parts that I'm not happy with it's like your business right. There's things you love their things you'd like to do differently. So what is one of the things I love? I love them working with type form to create some many surveys so that when people reach out to US I can shoot them. A quick survey to help do what we call level setting to get us both on the same page. Type for my. Thanks perfect or do that runs great on the desktop. The mobile tablet Probably even an etch a sketch. It would run fine on just a great product and so we've got the first one up for the hiring manager so and a new skill. I'm working on Hum. I'm doing the voice overs for it and that is a daunting task. Sometimes you know you want to be perfect and yet but here's here's how you launched a new skill he say well it actually runs on both Alexa platforms. Hand the Google assistant so Google action if you will based on the Alexa skill so you either say Alexa where you say. Google Google assistant launch voice. First Career Center does it is stepping through a couple of questions so that we can connect. It's got four possible scenarios based on who? I think you might be. That should be excited about what we're doing am based on your selection. It will branch you then to get you some great feedback. So that's one of the exciting things that's happened in the last few days right now. I only have the hiring manager version up. So if you're hiring manager and you're seeking talent then check that out again Alexa Launch Voice First Career Center and sure enough just a couple pieces information so that we can help so that it will shoot you a text message and in the text or be a link to take you to the type form so as you can give some details so that we can follow up intelligently do some research how cool et. Heke go on and on. But I'm not going to. It's Sunday it's actually very early morning as I record this for release in a few hours but I'm excited about all it's going on. I'm excited about the industry. In the fact that this is the absolute best time the launch a startup. That's right. In Times of uncertainty. People were concerned in there looking. Their status quo has been interrupted often. When I do a proposal I always come up with three possible. Scenarios AND NUMBER. One almost always status quo. You can keep doing whatever you're doing. Nobody could say that. The last few months with this global pandemic the rules have changed. You need to change with them right. So hey if I can help if you're a if you're in a player if your talent if you know how to create art was computer code in particular node. J S or or Python. Then reach out if you're hiring manager and you need those talented individuals on your team creating art for your company and having trouble finding them then want suggest again. Reach out to me and the best way to do that the simply to do that. We don't we don't we don't need resumes. We don't do email the best way to do that..

"Keys bring your two day very exciting because we're talking about the eight most important in overlooked tax breaks for retirees in they sneak up on you and they add up to yeah really out of just call taxes exciting Keith and did I hear that right. some of my eyes are easily no no no. thanks for talking about today are pretty exciting for retirees I know this is typically a subject most people just wait until April to tackle but if you take some steps right now yeah stress and again that is the problem that you start your tax strategy at the beginning of the year not at the end and you'll save thousands of dollars and that were more you know of course no set number but you can save so much money if you plan ahead of time yeah rather than try to DO retroactively and remember your CPA is going to help you going forward they were the backwards well the next thing on our list today one of the tax breaks is actually what is called the old RMD workaround trek now I'm all about trying to trick the IRS. the trick yeah. when people start talking with them by the way I am gonna go down there in the store yeah. so how does this work exactly you know retirees taking that harm the required minimum distribution from the traditional iris they have an extra option basically for meeting the because the pay as you go demand if you don't need the are indeed a live on during the year wait until December to take the money out I always suggest people do that you make sure you know work with your adviser to do this and hold back a big jump for the IRS so they can keep as much as you want they don't have to just keep a ten or twenty percent I I like to keep whatever you so there's no surprises in April if you want to cover here the tax on everything and you can also make up taxes and other stuff so if you haven't taken taxes that other distribution you can make it up on this now remember tax payments they're considered made when you send the checks in there with help from the IRA so what I often do if you have a trust account or joint account or just a regular not managed account take it out of that account throughout the whole year and replenish that account at the end of the year so you can be right on the money with the exact amount that you need to pull out because I see people pull out a little too much because I forgot about a little bit of income throughout the year and you can't put it back in yeah so this allows you to to make sure that the numbers right now all right gotcha and it looks like Congress right now is considering some changes to the R. M. D. rules are gonna keep on top of that for you here on smart money this is another one of those things that could change over the years but why so important to keep up and to work with the retirement adviser who's helping you watch out for these things now the next on our list today is actually avoiding the pension payout trap what is that key. you know as they call it a menacing exception. and that is basically a yeah I know I love the than the one I see that were but it's true and whether taxes be withheld from payments from pensions annuities iras other retirement plans you get a lump sum payment from a company plan you'll fall into that trap and people do this all the time.
