Janet Morana Tells Us the Truth About 'Jane Roe'

"Janet. As we were coming into the studio, you said you mentioned something that you both know a certain lady who for 49 years has been known as Janet Jane roe. Tell us who she really was and because a lot of misinformation about her attitude to abortion after the decision. So who is Jane roe? Norma mccorvey, who I could say is a personal friend of mine. I stated her home in Dallas. She stayed at my home in New York. Father Frank actually brought her into the Catholic Church. In fact, Norma mccorvey never had an abortion. What? No, never. In fact, she was taken advantage of basically. She was basically homeless. She already had two babies at a wedlock that her family, one was for adoption, her mother was raising one. And over a pizza lunch, she signed for Sarah waiting to know the dotted line. She got will help you take care of your pregnancy. She signs on the dotted line. Do you think she spent one day in court? Not one day. Never heard from Sarah really. And then the day, roe V wade's decided. Do you think your lawyer would pick up the phone and say we won Norma? You know how she found out when she opened her door that morning and picked up the Dallas morning paper. So I don't understand if she hadn't had an abortion, but she wasn't involved in the hearings. What was her utility to the industry of death? Why did they need her? Well, they were looking actually, you know, to find someone like her, not well educated and kind of desperate situation who just would be used like a puppet. And in fact, the companion case that day, the Doe of dovey Bolden, father Frank and I know her too. Both ladies are Sandra kino. Same thing. She was her case was coming up through Georgia, while enormous was coming up through Texas. And Sandra signed on the dotted line thinking, she never two children back out of foster care. It was her mother who wanted her to put this child. And when Sandra found out, she left Georgia to Oklahoma to give birth to that

Why the Left Doesn't Care About Children

"Will tell you, I will tell a story that I've never I've never actually said, it's one of the few things about my life I've never said publicly. So as you, Julie know, I have two sons, one of them is biological and one is adopted. And you know that it is irrelevant to me, the issue of biology, but anyway, I have one of each. So my late wife, the mother of the second child who was adopted. She and I were looking to find a child to adopt in America. And we were put in touch with a woman whom we actually met. And then it was revealed to us that she was an alcoholic. And a drug addict. And so with great heartbreak in me, because I had already sort of created an emotional bond with the child I never met. We abandoned that plan. But I was always curious what happened, and a an evangelical Christian couple, in Canada. Ended up adopting the child knowing that the birth mother was a drug and alcohol addict. It is, it has never left my consciousness. I always wanted to know what happened to that child. I only wish obviously I wish him or her well. But I always thought about that Christian couple. For whom it was irrelevant, ironically, it turned out that unbeknownst to my late wife and me, my child was born to a drug and alcohol addict too. Yes. It shows you man plans God laughs, the famous Jewish saying. And we thank God things have turned out so beautifully and he's now married as a few weeks ago. As you know, but this notion that the pro life people, don't care about these all these children once they're born is a gigantic left wing lie.

Woman and Two Children Killed in Russian Attack

"The war in Ukraine continues. There are hopes, of course, that Russia will observe the ceasefire that has announced a third straight day, so I don't know how much hope you should put in that because they honored it on the first day they announced it. They wouldn't have had to announce it on the second day. Or the third day, but that is where we are. Hope for a humanitarian corridor was dashed on days one and two of the Russian announced cease fires because of course there are searing pictures out of Ukraine, particularly a story today in The New York Times, a woman and two children blown to their death on a bridge, this maybe, who knows, the picture that prompts the Biden administration to bring the full brunt of what it could do to sanction Russia or maybe not because it is course trying to navigate this delicate balance between appearing to be very harsh on Russia. Strictest sanctions ever, you know?

"The NASA minute. With Kevin mason. I spend a lot of my free time just reading the news online. But I've noticed recently a lot more news stories about murder suicides. And that got me to thinking, huh, I wonder if there are any statistics. I was wondering if it was a worse problem now, and I don't mean post pandemic. I just mean in our modern society than it was, say, ten, 20, 30 years ago, just what yesterday day before, I saw that famed fraud convict, Bernie Madoff's sister, and her husband died of a suspected murder suicide. We had a story here locally, a week or two ago, maybe about a family, two children, both parents, dead murder suicide. I see them all the time now. And maybe it's just my mind thinking all the time now. On average, they suspect about a thousand to 1500 murder suicides here in America every year, and the percentage of these suicide portion of that is only about 2% of the annual suicides are involved in murder suicide plots. Is this getting worse? Is it about the same? I think at this point, we really don't know. And that's very scary, because I don't understand the concept, nor the motivation.

Flood global social media with fake accounts used to advance in authoritarian agenda. Make them look real and grow their numbers of followers. And just because someone says they're sallie Mae from Oklahoma City and they they've lived there for 17 years and they have two children and they like your show. But I think you should go easier on China. That means our Chinese bot or a Chinese. It's all anonymous. They lie. They're communist. Children are statistically in more danger riding as a passenger in a car then contracting and dying from the chinese corona virus but instead this is about a couple of things the two. Ps that dr f- ouchi power and prophets. This is not about trying to save children's lives. in fact we have more evidence to show. Biden slips into political quicksand amid Haitian migrant buildup

"Starting off the show. Tonight we have a discussion about joe biden. Apparently he's doing more deportations than trump specifically deporting more asylum seekers than trump did well. Yeah we don't have the other categories of deportations as the numbers that That we came across. And it's a shocking number. I don't know the entire number. But i have here the us Moved over six thousand. Haitian asylum-seekers from the border at del rio so that's just haitian asylum-seekers just recently with you know the whip's did see that. Oh i saw that very scary stuff. There was ice agents. I guess they're ice. Sported patrol agents. Scroll on horseback whipping people catalyst. Yeah like cadillac. Wrangling them with whips and hitting them with the long whip. It looked incredibly frightening and in and scary to be in that situation with a bunch of armed men on horses attacking people who are just trying to escape the hellish life of living in haiti. And do you think the biden voters expected this to happen because the people on the left like biden love to position themselves as the friend of the immigrants they acted like trump was the worst for immigration and right immigration. I mean right. When joe biden got elected like somebody. I know got a deportation letter. Just and they're telling him oh. It's been a lot worse recently under biden. They told him that his friends sorry like his friends. That like is also a legal immigrant. Types may know some other people like that well according to the same place that you're looking here. It's says twitter account. Aj plus they're citing cnbc saying that biden is using what's called title forty two to expel asylum-seekers without a right to a hearing so you know what asylum is right. Yeah when you leave somewhere that is you're gonna die there or they're gonna put you in prison for the rest of your life or thereafter you for for whatever reason and the numbers here are just shocking. According to cnbc under trump and remember trump had four full years. And we're not even through year number one biden four hundred and forty th over four hundred. Forty thousand people were Were expelled under this title. Forty two during the trump administration and six hundred ninety thousand have been expelled under the biden administration under title forty two so that's a tremendous level of increase because if if biden is able to keep up the same amount over the next three years. Yeah he'd be like twenty four hundred weight. It was six hundred ninety thousand right now so yeah that'd be well over two million people well so you know that is just absolutely horrifying because these people if they are indeed being prosecuted or persecuted. They're going to be sent back to likely their deaths or likely to a prison cell. Yeah it's probably worse for you if you try to leave and then they find out about that absolutely it is. Let's see there's other story here from cnbc biden. Administration appeals judges order. This is from less than a week ago to stop. Expelling migrants under trump era pandemic policies. So there was a judge who said they need to stop using title forty. Two and biden is appealing so this is yet another example of how joe biden is more like trumpy than the trump haters thought. That trump was like people hated trump for all these different reasons and biden has continued trump's policies and crank them up. Yeah my friend. Sent me this weird video of biden today. It was him when he was younger. You know he. He's always been in government office. So i don't know what his title was at the time but he was being interviewed. Probably a senator or something. Yeah and he was saying he was saying. What do people think. I care more about bosnia than haiti because it's white people in bosnia and it's you know black people in haiti and then he just went on and said well if haiti sank into the ocean. I wouldn't care just like that was his answer to that was like what is that supposed to mean. Well i'll tell you clear what it means. It means he has no empathy right to say that about another an entire group of people living somewhere on the planet to say they just if they just all died one day he would have no concern whatsoever for that and you juxtapose that against what he says while he's running for office which is to make himself seem like this all caring. Oh the democrats we care about people that's clearly. Bs tel aviv From penn and teller thought he was going to heal us all with his love. Is that what taylor said. Y- you read that on the show. It was numbered teller's lider new saying let pendulum but tell her was going along with pen from what i could see. So presumably teller didn't disagree otherwise he wouldn't have been in the photo op. Yeah just mixed them up. Sorry according to the story here. Cnbc biden administration appealing. A judge's order to stop using a trump era pandemic policy that allows for the rapid expulsion of migrants without giving them a chance to apply for asylum. So they're using covert as the excuse. The departments for his just cove it. That's why we had to have horseback riders with the because of it. It's just you covered. The department of justice filed an appeal of district. Judge emmet sullivan's ruling thursday bars. The federal government from expelling migrants under the public health law known as title. Forty two sullivan. The ruling to go into effect in fourteen days the appeal is the latest move by the bided administration to address the twenty year high surge of migrants from mexico and central america crossing the border illegally which remains a political flashpoint between republicans and progressive democrats title forty two is first introduced by donald trump in march of twenty twenty over concerns about the corona virus pandemic. It gave the government the power to turn back any migrant caught crossing the border illegally regardless of their country of origin to supposedly stop cove nineteen. So if you had managed to escape from north korea and you made it to the united states which is no easy task. Mind you. it's one thing to get here from haiti or guatemala. Or duress or something. It's a whole other story to get here from north korea. But if he'd managed to and they caught. You did it cover. Nineteen you gotta go back to north korea and you back to north korea where you would certainly either be put into a hellish prison labor camp and then of course all your family members have probably already been put into a prison labor camp. Because that's what they that's how they roll over north korea. If you try to escape or you do something bad. They punish your whole family for it. So you know you're going to prison and it's going to be like the worst possible prison labor camp experience basically on the planet right now if they don't just go right ahead and just summarily execute you but this quote from a man at the border a haitian man with two children. "Became an anchoring force. And catherine or katie's life. Though she was never taught to read or write she became well versed in the bible as a young teenager. Katie began attending a local presbyterian church. It was a largely scottish denomination and katie soon. Made an impression on isabella. graham isabella was a scottish. Born philanthropist and the founder of a school for girls when katie was around sixteen years. Old isabella graham bought her freedom for two hundred dollars. Katie was initially given six years to work off the debt but isabella later agreed to eleven months of work for one hundred dollars. Isabella's son-in-law raised the other half of the money by the age of eighteen. Katie was free. She soon married and had two children. The both died in infancy to support herself. Katie began making cakes but she soon became increasingly concerned about the children she saw on the street. The devastation from the revolutionary war along with the huge influx of immigrants created dire levels of poverty throughout new york. That was especially true in lower manhattan. Where katie had spent much of her life in seventeen ninety. Three katie began gathering children from the streets on sundays for religious instruction. They met at her home at fifty one warren street. The reverend from her church soon heard of her classes. He offered her space in a spare room of his new congregation on murray street. That's actually the street i live on. Now it's believed that katie's was the first sunday school in new york city over the course of her katie took in forty eight children. Some she rescued from the city's poor houses others from their families. She would raise them herself or help. Get them placed in better situations. "two children" Discussed on Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey

"To relatable happy. Thursday fewer washiness on youtube. You can tell that. I am not in my studio. I wasn't in my studio on tuesday of not in my studio today. It's been kind of a crazy week. But if you're just listening to this i do have my say microphone so i should sound the same so just bear with me. What we're talking about today is more important than my changed setting. We were going to talk about parenthood and the reaction to parenthood in children in popular culture. And of course what the bible says about it. And it's this is based on a few new stories That were sent to me. That i think show that different kinds of perspectives that we see in secular culture about having kids so this first story that made me start thinking about. This was crazy story. That almost just sounded like some kind of. I don't know if it's like a satirical headline or something that you would have read like brave new world but population matters dot org reported that harry and meghan are receiving a special award from population matters a uk based charity because they publicly declared their intention to limit their family to. They're helping to ensure a better future for their children and providing a role model for other families. So they've got that they've got a two year old son and then they've got a one month old daughter great. I think it's great that they have a beautiful family and if they wanted to limit their family to to kids whatever that's fine but the fact that they are getting an award for limiting how many kids they have to supposedly save. The environment is ridiculous. the idea that limiting the number of kids you have is actually virtuous. That's what i'm uncomfortable with. I don't think it's wrong. Free to limit. How many kids you have but winning an award for that for apparently helping helping the world. I'm not really sure that. I can be on board with that especially when you consider that. I'm not really sure that that is that much of a credit to the future to limit the number of kids that you're having this whole idea of the world being overpopulated. In the more people that we have actually been a debit to society and a debit to the world rather than a credit rather than a positive contribution to the future. I'm just not on board with that. Not only is it not biblical. Cedric moans breakout. Season has been a bright spot. The orioles he's hitting three eighteen with fifteen home runs and fifteen stolen bases and he leads all aol outfielders in opie s at nine sixteen and ranked second in batting average in addition to tying for the league in hits. He's one of three. Mlb players with at least thirty five extra base hits and at least fifteen stolen bases matt olsen makes his all star debut after a strong first half that includes two eighty-three batting average with twenty home runs fourth in the al and fifty three rb is he also ranked seventh in the league in slugging percentage at five fifty four eight and opie s. Nine twenty four in his fourth full big league season jarod. Walsh has been a huge steel for the angels who drafted him in the thirty ninth round. Two thousand fifteen after playing college ball for the georgia bulldogs. He's hitting two eighty three. With twenty homers tied with matt olsen for fourth in the al and sixty one rbi's searching for a house in the atlanta area can be tough community reporter. Jp edwards is with the chief lending officer at georgia united credit union to find out. What exactly is happening to the real estate market. So my name is. Stephanie is like our. I'm the chief lending officer georgia united credit union. In the reason that. I have you on the podcast. Stephanie is because the housing market is nuts. I've heard stories of people not even be able to buy a house or putting multiple bids down in. They're not able to get it what's happening. Yeah so you're you're definitely right on. We are seeing this happen over and over with our members and our team members in our own stories But it's really just comes down to a inventory shortage To give you an example. There's only a little over seventy five hundred homes in the atlanta area right now. That are for sale. I am that was down. That's down over sixty one percent from last year because they're so little inventory that prices are increasing twenty four to twenty eight percent And it's just a lot harder to be able to make an offer and get a home these days simply because there's less less homes out there so there's less homes out there in. Let's say that. I'm a buyer. I'm trying to buy a house. And i want to go put a bid on it. What can you since you represent georgia united credit union. What can you as the lender d- do to help me be able to get house. So as a lender we have a couple of options we can give pre-qualifications which are pretty common They basically just take some of your information. How much money you make your debts and kind of say. Hey this is what you can afford But i would suggest a taking it a step further getting a pre approval and a pre approval is digging in a little bit deeper on what you can afford looking at more information looking at your credit report your income and really saying. Hey this is what we can say that we would honor you Four from Standpoint and that pre approval letter is a must these days to walk in and be able to make an offer on a home. They're going to want that. When you make the contract to write the contract on the home so does that give your offer a little more ump. Yes definitely do you have any stories. Has there been any people come into the credit union that have basically given you a horror story about how many houses they've tried to buy. Yeah we hear horror stories all the time you hear stories about people paying thirty forty thousand dollars over the asking price right now. That's not uncommon The other thing one of our team members is a first time home buyer told me last week that him and his wife have their twelfth phone that they're trying to get And so it's just incredibly difficult right now. They're coming in at what they believe is a very strong fair offer over asking. They're still not getting these homes and so I think people are just experiencing a lot of stress in frustration. Right now so. I would kind of just say my advice would be get that pre approval at our find a great realtor who's experienced and can help you and very responsive right because you have to act quickly in this market and also just make a good and fair offer for what you believe. The home is worth stephanie's. Allegra is the chief lending at georgia. United credit union in stephanie defined herself right now with this housing shortage. Do you find yourself kind of playing role of therapists in your office. Two i think several of our team members who are helping people through this process definitely. Yeah have to play that role right we. I mean it's frustrating for people and we've kind of all been there. The home process in itself can be frustrating. It's just stressful. You have this dream you're trying to achieve and sometimes going through. The process is hard and now we have this extra layer of it. So yeah but it's definitely about being there with people you trust finding the right programs in one other thing. Is you know this market is also a market where your downpayment doesn't go as far Simply because you're paying over the price right in so look out there for options As far as down payments. There's lenders echo up to one hundred percent like we have several programs at one hundred percent or putting five percent down for very large loans. So there's options for you out there So just kind of do your research and make sure you understand What is available. And what works. Best for you stephanie. Zoo the chief lending officer georgia united credit union. If somebody wants to find out all the information where can they find that. Yes so definitely go to juicy you dot org. And there's a lot of information out there were kind of putting new information articles things like that and you can touch base with any of our mortgage loan officers. Who'd be happy to help walk through the process. Stephanie's allegra chief lending officer torture united credit union. Thank you so much for joining me. On the podcast. Thank you for having me. "Bright, flashing lights of fog machine, crazy graphics and videos, displayed on a huge screen. It's a pretty passive operation. My story was you know, I was happily married with two children and came to the realization that I wasn't living my offense itself. So I came out to my life. Put my life upside down and left the house and went straight to another bar. Wow. No is running things today. But just a couple years ago. He was a contestant. And while he's deeply involved in the leather community. Now, he thinks of himself sort of a late arrival to the same discovered leather by going to my local VAR pistons, and I really just fell in love with the vibe, these are divey places. These are people that are immediately accepting of everybody, and you just immediately feel comfortable on part of a close knit group. I've noticed especially talking with a lot of contestants and the judges that there is like a strong relationship to sex with the culture, and I'm wondering where that comes from it entirely revolves around sex. You know leather is at its core about fetish it's about exploring sexuality and all of the interesting things that you can do. Between two people or or more. You. So unlike us a lot of the contestants actually aren't out to the co workers or even friends and family about being into leather many have separate Facebook pages just for their leather side of their life. And so that's part of the reason why this story you'll hear that some people will just go by their leather names to maintain their privacy. And yet that's also a big reason why winning this title is so important to these contestants every single one that I interviewed sees it as an opportunity to represent the leather community as a whole to spread awareness about the scene and to show people that leather isn't just about whips and chains. There's a lot of misconceptions going back decades about these people must have some mental illness there freaks they're weird. And a lot of what we're doing is expressing ourselves and showing our pride. So that we can show individuals out there that they're not alone in this that this is not weird. We're not freaks. Now, it probably won't surprise you that most of the contestants at previous Mr. L E leather competitions looked like they came straight out of Thomas inland drawing monthly Harry and white. But this year that's changing. Eighteen their spike who rocks mohawk and says he can kick your ass and do your makeup being accepted the community. It's very Butch. It's very masculine. I wear heels. I wear makeup piercings tattoos. I wear nail polish. So I've always meant to stand out. And you know, if there's anything you can learn it's just big yourself. One hundred percent all the time, and they don't like you that's on the damn business. Anyway, there's a who's a national guard veteran and father of two groups really poor Mexican family. I was the first generation here for somebody like myself that was fairly leaguer taught not to be sexually active. Be just be Mexican good work for me to actually come out. And just be myself. I would serve as a good role model never seen. Anybody of my descent actually win. There's been who's a costume designer by day and ADL daddy by night. Thing that I think needs to happen in leather is that there's a long white men sort of in charge of representing and on the posters, and I think that that needs to change. And then there's the only Asian American competing in this year's competition. His name is pup Yoshi..
