"I think there's a world in which we see more effort from Levine because he may be, I don't know if inspired is the right word. But this is by far the best team he's ever played on. The green, watching him at the Olympics. He looked a lot more engaged offensively and was much better. So I like what they did. I understand. The team building aspect and not trying to put a ceiling on yourself. But in the NBA, for a market like Chicago that logo has so much power and it's just faded away in the background for the last since the peak of Derrick Rose. It was time to make a move and to just be relevant again. And if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. But I think the time was now. It had just been it's just been too long since anybody's really cared about the Chicago Bulls. Yeah, totally agree. And then the Lonzo sign in trade, I think was really, really smart as well. Those are the two big moves and the two big swings they made. The Lonzo Ball and pairing it particularly with Alex Caruso because the thing that the demar Derozan and Zach lavine perimeter core doesn't have necessarily is a high level plus defender. Because even if we think Levine is going to be improved defensively, he's still probably not going to be much better than average to slightly above average. And I think that might even be a stretch. It would take an improvement for him to get to slightly above average for sure. But going out and getting Lonzo Ball, who's a really, really high level off ball playmaker defensively and going to get Alex Caruso who I thought had a genuine case to make the all defense team last year in Los Angeles. Those two guys fit really, really well with Zach lavine and demar Derozan as backcourt partners. I would think that you get a lot of three man lineups with that four player group that make a lot of sense and really, really work. I would imagine they're gonna start all of Lonzo, Zach lavine and demar Derozan, but Alex Caruso works with any of those guys on the court and should be a very high level complimentary piece for this group. No, I agree with everything you said. I like the balance. I like even the subtleness of adding a Caruso who, I mean, obviously, people know who he is, he played with the Lakers and his meme moment and all that stuff. But to your average casual basketball fan it's a subtle move, but it's a good move. It feels a void for Chicago, like you said, he can play with any of those guys. He adds a I mean, he's a top tier. He's a top notch defender. And that was something that was missing something they needed. Obviously, they're not going to be this super deep team. But having loading up on guards and being able to stagger, I think is going to kind of disguise that a little bit. Again, I just like what they did. I'm more so than anything. I'm interested in figuring out what it looks like and just monitoring that team for a whole year because I think it could be fun..

"Son kind of sort of made a debut last night from what I'm told I didn't get a chance to watch it. I was watching playoff basketball, anything having to do with ARN Anderson. I am in folks aren't Anderson's one of those guys? I just liked him As a kid. I know we just played the ric flair for the music at Ric Flair probably had something to do with it. But anything having to do with ARN Anderson? I just like like, I know he was in the four horsemen which were supposed to be bad guys and heels and all that stuff. And yes, you know what didn't like Tele Blanche in I certainly didn't like Paul Roma. Certainly there were times I hated Ric flair when I was a little kid. Wanted Ric flair to lose everything like Dusty Rhodes. What do I mean? What? I'm shooting fish in a barrel. We just lost. This was the anniversary of us losing him a few years ago just to stay five years ago. Just this day or yesterday, I should say And that's the beauty of having Twitter. Still, man is there's always video. Remembering the greats from yesteryear. Including the great dusty roads. We get to remember him every day because of that. Which will play that theme coming up at one o'clock as we are what to do. But I love ARN Anderson. And you damn well better play my arm at the end of the show or I swear colander. I'm going to drive there and it's going to be a beaten. I'll give you the I will give you a spine buster right there in Central Jersey. Are you ready for that? Um well, better be. I'm not ready for that. Speaking of fights again. I brought this up right before Brian Baldinger joined us. I got tweeted a video. If you're going to have a fight in the stands, high ground winds. I don't condone fights in the stands. I think they're dangerous. I think they're stupid. I think that there's a lot of elderly people might be around you. People can't defend themselves who you could roll in and hurt others because of your momentum falling forward. But If you've got to fight the stands, for whatever reason you better have the high ground. I'm willing to tell you if you're up there in the nosebleeds if you're in the 700 run to the other section Run as high as you can. Then run back over. Come back down and then fight the guy. If you have the low ground, get the high ground and then start your fight. Do not go low ground, which which makes this fight with the Nuggets fan and the jazz fan even more impressive or the Phoenix fan? I beg your pardon, the Sun's fan and the Nuggets fan even more impressive because the Sun's fan has low ground he's in the lower sees in the lower Row. And he still gets the win. Did you see this real quick? Connor, Did you see this? I did not see that. No, I got a pot. I got away. I got to turn that sound down because I don't want anybody say anything. Where you have Denver. You have Denver fan who puts away something in his pocket, and then he's ready to take a swing. Suns fan grabs him by the top. He made a total mistake. He overreached. This is the problem. I'm watching this video. You have a girlfriend in there. See, this is where the fights are getting crazy because I said a couple weeks ago there was a White Sox fight. Two women were fighting a guy got in the middle. They started beating him up. It was like an episode of Jerry Springer. So can are you watching this now? Get on my twitter and watch this right now, Connor. As you see, Shirtless, Basketball Jersey guy or excuse me, bareback Basketball Jersey guy. How do these guys start flights? I've never been in a situation like this. You're in a loud basketball arena. So they reach up Guys behind. Put your stuff away. Then takes a swing. He takes another suite. He got one good one, and you can tell, but he reached too far and when he reaches too far The guy from the low ground. Grabs him by the top of the jersey and then just starts feed them. How many do we see here? Let's see. Two big swings falls over, got in the low ground 12345678 while eight fence, feed some nine shots overall and gave one to his buddy. And then starts yelling sons and four Quality went for the guy in the low ground. Quality win. I can't condone such practices. This guy definitely had his nose broke. I can't condone such practices. The cops are right there. I think this guy might have spent a night in jail by for what? All it looks like. But if you're going to talk about a win quality win and kept his son's jersey pretty fresh, but I can't still condone it because he's going bareback. With the jersey on Now I have to tell you from personal experience of being in an NBA arena from years ago. They're back Jersey. Guys going to start something, man. It's going to be a good start to the night. It's going to be a bad ending into the night. It's going to end dramatically. It's going to end with nasty texts being sent to a girlfriend or perhaps an ex girlfriend. There's definitely going to be some bloodshed. There's going to be problems. If you go out with one of your buddies Now that we're going out and having good times again Hey, listen, I'm I'm getting past it. I'm gonna be 35 this month. I'm I'm too old for that stuff. But from my memories If you go to pick your buddies up, you guys are going out. Somewhere in one of the districts having a good time. Maybe you're in Kansas City. You got a guy in a basketball jersey with a bareback shirt on you send him back into his apartment. You tell them to go put a shirt on underneath or wear something else. Because it is a heat seeking type of thing, Man. There's certain things where You put it on night's gonna end badly. I say one of those old timey cabbie hats that they wear the newsboy hats. Whatever it is, I think somebody's going to draw back and swing at you. You were a basketball jersey with nothing on underneath. You're just showing the guns. Someone's going to test you at some point or your boy is going to get out of order..

"Mike. I got four questions for you, but I'm worried. Are you worried? What? Why? You worried you I'm afraid you won't answer the fourth question. Well, you let me say I rarely. I rarely listen to the show before I come on, But I happened to listen about an hour ago when there was a very subtle not so subtle shot across my bow. Regarding a coronavirus relief package and whether it contained funding for NFL teams. Yep, that have coaches that don't go for it on fourth town. Yeah, I just wondered how often prior to me coming on the show are insults thrown around like, you know, if you're a regular guest, and you're a valued regular guest, it's quite likely that that occurs every now and then. Because I do think that given the way that the covert relief bill is is you're gonna need cap space because you're gonna trade Aaron Rodgers with some deadman. And then you're gonna have to go get the show on Watts. And you cost too much money because your kids not ready. Who's your kid? We're love. Yeah, Love is not ready. But don't worry, Bra Jersey is going to be the quarterback for at least three more years, and we're interviewing a Browns defensive line coach for our new defensive coordinator. He's good, Chris. I don't want him to leave, but but Gallagher Congressman Gallagher, I'm worried. That if your prognostication about the Packers and Aaron Rodgers reflects your ability to get control of the emerging threats, the United States national Security that we are undefended. Well here, uh, fear not because just as the Packers are perennially Super Bowl contenders, America is never out of it, even when we face rising threats from China. And Russia and Salafi jihadist groups and the Iranian regime to last questions. Are you a Brady guy or your Mahomes guy going into Sunday? Mahomes guy, but it's it's attention because I have a tendency to root for the team that beats the Packers because it sort of softens the blow. It makes it feel like it was meant to be, But I hate Tom Brady and do not want him to win another Super Bowl. Well, he did go to Michigan. So there's that, But he is it is winning downgrades Bill Belichick, which is a good thing, I'm the other hand, if my homes when it proves that the Browns of the second best team and indeed would have been the best team, except for a miss call head to head tackle on Higgins. At the close of the first half. Not that I'm bitter. You sound very bitter. I'm with you on that call. My wife is a Michigan grad. So perhaps she'll be ready for Tom Brady. Okay, we won't. We will get you into further trouble. Talk to me about reconciliation last night, Joe Manchin goes on to Bret. Bear. By the way, Side side question. Do you watch special report with Brit Bear? Occasionally I do. I think it's the last news show in America. I really do. You know Democrats and Republicans. Come on. I don't know if Brett Baer votes Republican or Democrat, he just asked Good question. Matching comes on last night, he says, very reassuring thing. He's not going to screw with the bird roll. $15 minimum wage is not in there. We're gonna use reconciliation. But if it doesn't have bipartisan support, he's not voting for him. What do you make of that? Well, I think Senator Mansion is sincere. I had opportunity have dinner with him last night. And he's uh He's a very honest guy, and he is genuine when he talks about his dedication to bipartisanship that is a core issue. For him, and he very much wants to restore the bipartisan nature of Congress in general and the Senate in particular, and so I'm inclined to take him at his word. I think he feels very strongly about this and feels very strongly that the approach Divide administration is taking so early on here is the wrong approach. I mean, pushing through a nearly $2 trillion relief package with no Republican input, it seems like they completely dismissed the group of 10, Republican senators that engaged in good faith. Earlier this week, I think is the wrong approach, particularly since we don't yet know if the nearly the trillion dollars we spent recently has Been fully Spence right? We don't have a sense of what worked. What didn't work. I am I am on board, with the idea of providing more resource is for vaccine production and distribution. I think that is the best thing we can do not only to save lives but to get us out of this economic mess. But the fact is we have not spent the full trillion dollars that we passed about a month ago, and I think it would be reckless for us. To ram through. This purely partisan approach is gonna have a lot of things that are completely unconnected. Coronavirus relief in it that are purely progressive priorities. So I hope Senator Manchin continues this fight. It's interesting that we now have to Joe's in Washington, D C that effectively have Evita. Yeah, I read his and tell me if it's consistent with the dinner. He doesn't need 60 votes. He's all right with going with reconciliation, But he's not going to violate the bird rule and he needs Republicans on whatever goes in, so that's a double. So it's somewhere between The filibuster and a reconciliation. But it's got the guard rail to the bird rule. Meaning Don't bring your $15 minimum. A minimum wage. Don't bring D C. Statehood. We're not doing any of that kind of stuff. Do you expect there will be tax hikes, which would be ruinous with the economy as it is? I do. I guess I'm a bit. I'm getting a bit pessimistic about all this because I do think there's a sense within the Democratic party right now that this is really there on Lee opportunity. Go big or go home over the next two years. I mean, technically, they'll get two or three bites at the reconciliation. Apple if you look at how this might play out, but I think they feel like they have, you know, one or two big swings here..
