"And it's still the numbers game, right? In midfield, get past the two starters, and it's Abbott sir. And toleto, who's always hurt and out of contract. You know, and you have this situation recurring in different areas. What's your take on that? Well, first of all, full of nagas bonds since it was a youth team coach and hoffenheim and everybody spoke how good he was. But I think that the main thing would have had a pleasure to interview him deeply some weeks ago. And what impressed me was that the kind of security got the confident he got, but also the confident to not be confident when we talked about him coming into the dressing room and he had to adjust it by. And with all the people who won the trophies. And I think that it seems that his management is leadership has developed, and why do I say that when we're talking about his tactical moves? I think that is a lot to do with it. Because he is confident to make what you saying. Because a lot of people find out that I've been undefined to say that you can take on and off the gas because there is so hard to understand. How do these team do that? You see that I remember back in the days when raw symbol turned over in the Champions League and their first half against Real Madrid, it was like a one woman. And I said on TV well, just in second half, Real Madrid will just speed up a bit. And then a win the game. And people said, no, people can't do that. Well, they can. The world class players can't, the world class team can't do that. But I think also the thing that his way of thinking, he's adjusting to the players he got. At the end that in Leipzig, there was not a honeymoon for him. There were a lot of criticism as well, because they didn't like all that rotation thing that he was doing. Especially the strikers, the strikers need confidence, this strike and need to play a strike and need to have that goal that comes from nowhere to keep your confidence. But it seems no change a bit around that. But the intensity of the team is also it seems that the buying team fits more to his philosophy and his philosophy, we can say, what is a philosophy of an argument? But Julian argument didn't invent the success of biome. He's kind of has to improve it to develop it. And as far as I see now, I was one of the wounds, I'm a neutral. I would like to be doing this later to be tight. I would like to have other teams challenge for the title. I hope that hugs fun. Food had problem with buy in. But it's a total opposite. He has managed even that we are a big fan of hansie flake and all he's doing in and around the team. But he has improved a team under pitch. And I think that statement against Bayley by 11, that was the exam. That was the papers you need. Well, he has improved our team. And he has improved our teams. So that will take off by now. I took by and in there, also in the Champions League, because the two titles in Germany they were probably win well, you know. In an quote PC. We wondered when he signed him for the money they paid how will he adapt? Can you deal with the dressing room, kind of the egos, although this is, as we said, such a collective team that maybe that dressing room is not too difficult to manage and to deal with, but for him to say, after the game on yesterday, this is what this was perfection. This first half was for someone so demanding who's been there two days for him to say this was perfect. That first half was just perfect to take off Alfonso devis after 40 minutes because you already found it up, and you can just rest him after he played a hundred games in the international break. It's just I just think it's unreal. And what was next now is to not take the eyes of the ball like they did against Frankfurt to make sure that the accident doesn't happen again. Is it to play like this more against regardless the opposition nor just in the top game? Can't play like this. But you can. If you fold it up after 20 30 minutes, don't tell me the complex 30 minutes like that every game. And then you manage the rest of the game. They're not going to be for no luck after 30 minutes in every game because as great as they were in creating a chance. And Jan, you were a striker, correct me if I'm wrong, right? Well, if you did for the first goal with the movement, you can't expect you to do it with every single chance. The Mueller goal that comes off his thigh. That's dumb luck. No, no. But you need to go out there and play like this. But games in half an hour. No, no, okay, but you make your son like they played for 90 minutes at such a high intensity. I agree with you. But I'm just really curious to see how he does it. I think what he's going to do is keeping the same players against certain oppositions in certain games and they have certain pictures coming up. And bear in mind, they're already practically qualified in the Champions League after two games. So maybe midweek is where we see more of your pal shrimp on the semifinal hero. We'll see more things like that going forward. Can I get you on David cousin? Because again, maybe I was fooling myself. Can we hear Yan? I leave a cushion good. How good are they can they challenge for the title? Or are they the second force? Well, they are second force, but all other teams and Bayern are second force in Germany. It was quite interesting endorsement now. I talked to Marco Ross after the game. I congratulate him to the record. It's the first Dortmund coach who's won his first 5 home games. As a coach, and I've seen all games, they could have lost three of them. Yeah, but then you can see, is that a positive thing or a negative thing? Because it's not typical Dortmund to kind of get three points there. But you should have seen the ice, the anxious players at the end of this game on Saturday. It was the same against hoffenheim. And this is the reason I'm talking about doorstep, because I would put doorstep and Leverkusen in the same bucket, so to say. I don't think I've got it. I think if you see the team that ended that game and now, there are how many of these players would get into the buy and squad and I'm honest now. How many will get into the first 1213? I think you have to ask yourself that. You have a lot of to be fair. Yes, yeah. Absolutely. I got a lot of injuries, but still conceding goals for fun. It's a one clean sheet this season for Dortmund. And Leverkusen, I think that the project levels at the moment, I salute that. I think that is brilliant. I see him on role as a new voice in the new kids on the block tried to do exciting player Florida with Sheik and so on and so on. I think there will be up there where they'd be close to buy an unfortunate enough. We'll buy in February the league with 1213 points. Yes, they will. Unfortunately, because this is very bad for the brand Bundesliga. How can you sell a league that will want team a win everything? Be by all the superstars. And just sit common now because when they know attack for Holland is going to be a big, big thing going on in the German Bundesliga..

"Well off you know your childhood. I grew up in a single wide trailer with a single mom in southern west. Virginia you and i didn't grow up that much. Different the differences at a certain point in time in your life. You know you're blessed enough in your dad. Did something pretty remarkable. Yeah and that's when. I saw the light where i was like. Whoa like this is what making it is like. And it was a quick shift and went pretty fast you know. The atmosphere of our environment completely changed but the values of the like. What made him there. What i saw behind the scenes and how he kind of became this person like what it took to get. There was always ingrained in what i was doing. So even though i had to find my own path and go through ups and downs and challenges of my own habits and procrastination's and fears and normal. Human shit. I did get to embody what he went through to. How the success he had and i got to experience both sides of the spectrum. Now i wasn't necessarily poor what we weren't well off. We were comfortable at the time and went through influxes of money but getting to experience both sides. I knew which side i wanted to be on no matter what and that was. Not on the o k side. It was on the successful and rich side. So that's what i've been grinding for and ostlund for other than you know serving and helping an impacting obviously to solve problems for other people. But i knew that was my got to. My y was not to go back to that life. I wanted to stay in the lifestyle that was created in my second half of my child. You know it makes a lot of sense. What are some of those values that you've stuck with from the first part of that childhood. You know. I think one of the biggest things that most people forget is that nothing worth. It comes easy and everything takes time and energy and i think a lot of us are so used to this immediate gratification world of like press this button. Do these things you're only one funnel away kind of mentality when you have gone through it and you know what it takes to be successful. You understand that. There is a certain amount of time energy and effort required to reach a certain level of success. And i think that value of understanding what it takes to actually get to that level was really you know what i saw an experience from watching my dad constantly in his office like just really going after it now.

"Like to welcome in now the greet buster only espn baseball insider host of the baseball tonight. Podcast can follow at buster underscore. Espn buster always great to talk to you. Guys are man so buster. The dodgers clinched their ninth street playoff spot with a win last night. How important is it for them to actually win the division though with these surprising giants well. It's it's absolutely huge. The funny thing was about nine days ago. We had the dodgers and giants sunday night. Baseball and i asked that very question of neighbors. The dodgers manager any kind of blinked looked at me and he goes. You know what it's too out. I haven't even given a thought right. He's still in the moment of the regular season. But you know now down the stretch with less than three weeks ago it's going to become a focal point because we've seen time and again how great players can be derailed. By that wildcard game. There were a couple of years Seven eight years ago when it looked like at the end of the regular season the pittsburgh pirates were the best team in the national league but they had to go through wildcard game and it back to back years they face madison bumgarner to the beginning of the greatest postseason run. We've ever seen any pitcher that was in two thousand fourteen and they lost and then the next year they got jake arrieta at the end of the greatest second half we ever saw from pitcher And they lost again and so the dodgers have a chance to be the first team to win back to back titles since The nineteen ninety. Best of luck in the big dance. Follow the nights I'd have to unites dot com and here he is the head coach of the knights of fairly Dickinson as they get ready for the zags tonight. And that's Greg Aranda coach. Our you. Avenue. I'm doing great. How you guys gone you? Congratulations. You gotta answer the million dollar question. You're ready. I'm ready. What did you say? To Jillian Jenkins Tony point to the game. Right there. I told him I love go. I just keep playing. He was talking like the cameras as you. Well know, the cameras only pick up a real small part of the game. And he was the guy talking in the huddle telling us when we were down thirteen in the first half and then second half real quietly in his voice, you okay, we're gonna be okay. We're be okay. And the TV picked up me grabbing him, but he knows that since he's been on his campus. Guys. I've just given him the ball. And he's the he's a he runs the deal. And I have one hundred percent confidence in him. I told him every lacks play and go and have fun. And and that's what he's all about it as a sophomore twenty points in the biggest game with Fairleigh Dickinson university history and took over the building. He becomes the mayor of Dame. He was sensational second-half. Now, he was great. There's no doubt about it. And you know, I tell you coach I'm watching the game. And you get off his. Terrible start. I mean, you could would you go about eight minutes without scoring. Nine hundred six throwing the ball away. They're making three that's the auditing then they can't shoot threes. And they're making three I'm like what's going on here. They made they made fifteen on the night, and we turn all right? And and we went so it was it wasn't drawn up that way. But that's how we wanted to whack the game three years ago in the championship. Adware? We came out. I think down eleven to Saint Francis. Eleven to our starts. Great lately, we need to start the game much better tonight. You can't dig a hole not against this. No, we're aware of that. But but but getting back to the other night our team has tremendous, heart perseverance. As rich Conrad by late. Alon? Jill group, and we were resilient that night. And and then what about Don L edge, tremendous thirty three. Yeah. How about the three? He made before halftime coach. How big was that shot you show? You are we going down seven. Yeah. Without him. We go down fifteen twenty. We don't come back. Now, he was tremendous even though prairie view got off to a quick start in the second half. It felt I always feel this way watching NBA games. College games. You want to go to that break that deficit not being as big. Yes, it mentally feels better when you're down seven as compared to ten Evan app. So I mean, you look at the nets they were down twenty five airborne. It's not like they used to facing Labatt Sacramento. Nevertheless, it's okay. Angel played like LeBron now. It's okay. But you never know the bride may go to the kings next. I also. I expect you to know anything about the net game that night considering that was the same night. You guys. Watch the nets Gonzaga film. I saw the highlights. I don't you know, you can't sleep at this time. Is a TV on that has what the world's then there's another TV with tape, and then might coaches coming in with computers and follows tax so. But I just can't believe that LeBron got the shot blocked by who own. Yeah. Right. I mean, I'm a I'm a multi as impressive, right? But we have to multitask, tonight begins. Here's the weakness of if they have won their opponents have outrebounded them on the offensive glass. But if you think real hard about it, I'll put I'm going to get the new guys, why do you think Gonzaga has less offensive rebounds in their opponents because they don't miss shot. Right. Right. Yeah. That's a weakness. That's a strength. You're so good. You're so well coached, but I just watched the this morning, I got up and I watch the tire St Mary's game because I just wanted to see what Saint Mary's is a really really good team very well coach and we've seen in Africa a killing people, and I wanted to see them not have success just built up our confidence. And and even in that game. They just miss shots. They they guard Ron they refound are they run great offense Perkins at the point you watch. He plays like not a current NBA point guard. He kinda played like, whoa Frazier and norm family just gotta calms down and finds people. He doesn't rush. Big age. Japanese kid inside is just much more. Yeah. The kid Clark is his athletic as they call. But we have good players. And this is what I told our guys yesterday in our meeting before they went to bed. We won a championship this year, and they did not now it's different leagues. But guess what we had to metal that dot right, right? Something that we have to get you get a lead. Be there at the end, and is Jalen rose night. I keep thinking about the best team. Always doesn't win in college basketball coach it's one game. We play Kentucky in a seven game series. I'm telling you that that is an impossible. Win tonight. Is going to be really really hard year. Shop would now if it was fifty years ago, would you go to the four corners in this game? Would you? Try to put the hall in tanking his game. If he was like nineteen sixty eight would you do? Joe? Anything when the game, and you know. Guy who comes to a practices all the time. It's Michael Coren. Does he? Speaking. Great story that what he is as a freshman. He went and they lost to like Duke seventeen to eighteen seventeen sixteen and he went on the press imitated team Smith talking to after the game because he wasn't happy because Michael head coach at university, North Carolina, and we've been very successful here. And if you don't wanna be here anymore. You can you can go back to New Jersey. Great story, the recipe never said a word to the press again at North Carolina. But we have to in two thousand nineteen we have slowed down a little bit share it. Right, right. Read it because he's guys are just very physical. They're very big. And yeah, I think we have to win the game sick. He's we're not gonna win the game in the nineties. I don't think. Guess what? God bless us. But I think we have to control Tampa make shot rebounding. The basketball it just fight like heck or best of luck. We will be watching coach coach getting like with five minutes to go. I want to see you guys having a shot. That's. That's why I guess that's all we can ask. Right. You guys are in the game. You know, we have to start. Well, we have this hanging hanging around and insurance style this game. And compete. Thank you coach. Congrats on the win rate. Talking to your brow. Coach Gregg horrendous Fairleigh Dickinson, they get set for Gonzaga tonight, all the college sports fans out there. The tournament is finally here and you go to the fan does sportsbook app right now, it's five thousand to one for Fairleigh Dickinson to win a national championship five thousand. A one hundred dollars. I'm retired. No doubt. I know that the heavy favorite, but Virginia's at five to one which is the bet I made North Carolina. The outside that I like Florida stated forty two one. That's good. What you believe they can go on a big run? Forty two one is a nice number. I like it. You can also create a free bracket before the start of the tournament. So you've got a couple of minutes to get in.
