"twice year" Discussed on The Paul Finebaum Show

"Fan fifty two years later and Hope for a great season so It's hard to hard to take tennessee out of the boy. Isn't that right. i don't know why. I'm i'm sensing a connection between oak ridge and new mexico. Maybe i'm just reading things into it. My dad worked for the labs and got a job. It's satellite there was a correlation yet. After the last call i figure and i don't get to watch the show everyday watch as much as i can It hasn't been a lot of talk about realignment especially of texas oklahoma or coming in. Next year's to how the conference will be aligned. There has been enormous amount of conversation about this among us. We haven't really heard anything from the from the the conference she had in the last thing i heard now it's dated for about a week and a half is that they were looking to get away from a divisions but i don't think that is written in stone yet. Gotcha so here is my proposal. Just a big fan of the sec. So i'll try to go fast So i would like to keep the divisions. Because i think that's worked well to the western to visit. I would envision taxes arkansas missouri. lsu a. m. mississippi mississippi state kind of Geographical thing there then for the east. Hold onto your hats. Because we have georgia florida alabama auburn tennessee south carolina and kentucky vanderbilt. A pretty tough visit there. It sounds like So next question. How to handle the schedule So i think having nine conference games still leave you three games to play against others so play every team in your side. So there's seven game so now the other two on the crossovers my recommendation. Kind of how. The sec used to be back in the day but a little different Each year you play two teams of the other side the home and away and rotate through So basically every four years you would play everybody in the league at a sixteen team league and every eight years you would see every team in your stadium with the home and home They're you know. Probably the main thing you know you maintain the rivalries got tennessee bam. You got alabama auburn Georgia florida all those stay the same. The one rival you kind of lose my scenario would be lsu versus alabama Which they would still play each other for years but any thoughts paul i- scenario. Now i think a couple of things. First of all they're there will have to be nine games. Non conference games. Otherwise there's was just no way it's going to be equitable i think-i you've laid it out quite well. If that's the direction. I think there's still a tug of war because you have these rivalries like you mentioned lsu alabama. Something has to give you cannot if you play it if you play three permanent games. Which is another proposal floating around. Let's use alabama as an example. You can't play alabama auburn obviously. And then. which one do you go with the alabama tennessee and alabama lsu and. Is there anywhere else in any way else to do it. So everyone's got conflicts. Texas has problems arkansas. An them so. I think the issue i frankly liked it divisions but i know there's been some pushback To try to do it a different way but right now i have no idea of the permanent games I'm sure maybe remember remembering the day there was six. Scc games back in the seventies eighties. You played five teams the same every year. And then you had that rotating With four other team so tennessee and those days are rotating games are georgia florida. Lsu mississippi state so we could see those games you know those teams twice year one year. Home when you're away then we wouldn't see him again for six years and that's one thing. I'm not a big fan of current schedule. How it's been you know we finally saw am played. Adm it's been a couple years now but we went six seventy years without they were in in the league and we didn't see him and you know he's play. The scheduled didn't make a lot of sense to me intuitively. I was A problem but you know i'll watch. What of can i remember. When i was in school in knoxville. We had a game against florida. It was the first time. Tennessee played florida in a long time. It was a really big too. Yeah cause analysis in every year bribery. Where exactly and plus my scenario brings back a rivalry. That was lost tennessee auburn every year. Was i'll absolutely like many years. And ford ricotta replace but back in those days. Tennessee would play. You'd play bowl games. Sec teams you. i've ever tennessee. Lsu and the old bluebonnets bowl one year and tennessee. Four and the gator. Sure one year and you know. Let's hope that doesn't happen. I'm sure we'll now. I think alabama and ole miss played in sugarbowl once. I'm sure they did and In fact i think. I remember that game too so Well hopefully Whatever they come up with you know. I think you've gotta maintain the old rivalries and also i think in my scenario i think. Lsu in florida played every year for a long time. And you kind of lose that. If you look at the sec games that that schools hate the most you just named it lsu florida nobody Both sides hate that game even though it's not a really nasty great rivalry game as we saw last year and this thanks so much for calling. Hope you'll do it again. Paul l. Will call you off and retire now and i love.

"School was huge. Back in menton. So i was like always around mark and just seeing the leadership and say he just had a presence about on the ara and mark always believed in me to see you know he just loved loved my passion my craziness. I was a little bit off the wall and so they were starting to win cops and i'm just starting to establish myself as an eight thousand. Nine hundred mates played a little bit like an internal and they were starting to win. They're going they're dynasty. Run and i was out with the parties with their mark would always want me to drink from the cop. The old superstition and come on campus have a picture to drink now. mark. I can't do that. I'm going to win that on my own you know. he chuckled. Because we were winning seventeen games year. I think i'm gonna win it on my own. You know what i mean and so i was one of those kids. Same noack touch it now. Because you know i got to win it. And lo and behold. I try then when i became an adult travel to mark all over europe and his brother paul who were big mantras of mine. They were kevin low. I used to train with them. And just had such respect for them. And i was always around winners around guys that just that had the it factor knew what it took. Yeah any talent. You need skill as a team. But those guys i just love being around him. I just soaked up. I absorbed it like travel. The world how to hell of a time to and a lot of fun with them partying and what do you mean the off season. You guys are going having your everywhere. I went to we plan on going for two weeks. Stay for five. That's aren't talent. Too much funding cheap and did a lot of crazy stuff and all those. I'm sure there were no ladies who things we were crazy. It was fun. But just be inter- i use that as an example like just being around mark when he was twenty three years old at the time. I think we're in greece. And i was like eighteen. Nineteen i watch through. Nobody knew hockey. But i watched when he walked to in a restaurant bar. He just had that press office. Mario new presence somebody to talk to somebody you know. And that's leadership. That's you don't teach that so you know he'd send me notes when he was with you. Haven kevin lobe goofy notes before the game because we only play once a year at the time or twice year and we weren't good like i said so it was fun and games and i compete when we played against it but they were just really glad that i was getting my opportunity. Then a ninety two already played. Oh eight nine. Years and mark messier gets traded to the new york rangers and go. Oh man this is. Our biggest rival had weighed in talk for two years. We drilled each other in the face we wouldn't we laugh about it on the golf course now every once in a while but when i ever get to get out there with them but it was just that intense instantly your i just had him to stop one of the greatest players that have i don't whack and hackman mark was strongest ten men. He's going to hack. You're right yeah mark you know so even in the off season you wouldn't you couldn't even you know once in awhile. I shouldn't say we didn't hang but we hello and laugh little bit but then the season came in. It just stopped again so going to an incident that again. We're going all over but this is about my devils career and about influences in my life and was certainly a big one but gotta hated that he was in new york rangers and we had the series and lost ninety two and seven games. They were the better team. Ninety four apertures raise players series. Ever and i was so proud to be part of that disappointing. We lost them. That was our kind of progression. We won the cup the following year and ninety five. Were you guys saying the locker room when they when they guaranteed victory now mark always tells the star people you know he always says look sure off. He put his money where his mouth is. One of the greats of all time if i reflect. Now you're angry. You're pissed but mark believed it you know and the thing was we. We had them down to nothing in that game too. You know we. We did not to close the deal nerves. That's all about. We talk about learning how to win learning to go that step further having down three to have them down to nothing game. Six dominating for thirty minutes should have been five. Nothing mike richter who never gets enough credit was as good a goaltenders. I've ever seen stood in his head until the mark messier show took over and second half of the game that came back with a late goal and then they started to roll and we were tight as a drum. Couldn't hang onto the puck ranges at a lot of stanley cup winners on their team. Kevin lau's the mctavish is the mark. Sca's lynn anderson. They knew what to win and to come back from a deficit like that. So i if. I look back on. What a missed opportunity. No that was all us. We talk about it today. In today's game the experience what experience means bet one unit close. Now we're going to game seven. We tied up with seven seconds left. We think we're a team of destiny ended up losing double overtime epoch series but point being their time those veteran guys that one cups.

"Into the pie. So it almost looks like it's not a zone but like it's it's kind of weird logan it's basically you have this big fluffy dough thing and then all your toppings are on top of that but like the does like puffed up. It's really hard to describe. It's all it's like a round -troit's style kind of almost like if you took a was it a culture culture culture culture in indian cuisine which is the basically. The nona has something in it. Okay yeah yeah did that but then like once puffed up you took the filling out. Put more dough in there like it's kind of like that. Yeah it's really weird strange so maybe maybe people learned something. There's a colorado in miami style. I don't know and i'm someone that just complained about pizza. Which is like universally. Everyone likes pizza. You know yeah. I mean i like new york style and i also am partial to detroit style. I like it. You don't really like deep dish. It's not really my thing. I like it too but it's not. It's a once twice a year thing. If that you know which. I guess you could argue with you. Only one at once or twice years it really fucking good right yeah But know sometimes. I don't think logically and you know that about me so i thought another thing that was funny and that scene is that people have no idea who serving them pizza. Yeah because he's not. Is he these prenup famous in france. Right repair I was thinking more day. But yeah you're right with that. They have they have no. That guy is right or not. It's like aren't the cameras a dead giveaway that something's going on but there's no they're all just kind of like yeah. Where's my pizza. There was definitely that could gets cool. You guys are shooting some stuff but the fox of pizza. So i thought at first. I thought they're making whole pies for people. Then i realized they're just making pies and then handing out slice handing out people are buying them but yeah. That was confusing. I two because i was like deals gonna take every one of and everybody's getting a pizza from there i think is what kind of the next major seen was When they go to that market and they do a picnic. Yeah kind of thing. I got so excited when he was just like. We need more money for wine. And yes like you know because that's the way it should be like when repairs like we're going to open to reds we're to be smashed like you know whatever but yeah the rate it was They got a bunch of stuff from room. Iran which is like a farmer's market. I guess about ninety minutes from marseille. Bigger good yeah. They just got a bunch of vegetables. Meats and cheeses stuff like that and then there's the whole big seen on just like reincarnation buddhism if you come back what do you think you come back as was that in the documentary..

"At what point do you have like a milestone marker that we can look at that says like okay once we have hit this revenue and gross or net. Then it's time to switch to an escort. Yeah it depends it depends on the individuals and you know what your top line revenue is versus what your expenses are and then what your bottom line would be. And also if you're married or not and you have a spouse who was working legally outside are they. What taxes are they paying you know. So there's a to think about when you make that decision for an llc for example remembering that that is a pass through and so you're creating schedule scene but then that flows right into your personal taxes so if you have other situations where you have a spouse your choice might be to have that spouse pay more taxes on their end and that offsets what you might go on your joint tax return if you're just a single parson than we need to now start looking at purely your business says profits and when we get to a significant amount where you'll pushing into a different tax bracket for example. You know. those are some of the things that you want to be. You know considering as you'd make the decision to remain as a llc or take the escort election. Is that something that we can look at any time of year or is that something that we need to be evaluating towards the end of the year before tax season january. What is there like a good time of year to reevaluate those types of things you definitely want to be looking at that in the current tax year right so when you hit december thirty first most decisions that you could make to affect your taxes would be out the door so you wanna be looking at you know things like that throughout the year so that you make the right decisions before tax time before tax filings castle. Yeah definitely any changes. That's happening if you feel like. You're making a significant more revenue from last year. You need to have those conversations with your tax accountant so that you can make decisions together as to the best direction that you should go so definitely. Don't just see your tax accountant during tax season. But you know. Have these touch points conversations. I think at least twice during the year so that you can you know measure where things are where you're going as a business and then you can make those decisions together. Okay that's great advice touching point or connecting with our epa's twice year. And if you don't have one yet just checking in with yourself to kind of evaluate where you are going and may be increasing your savings if you're going to be making a significant amount more so that you can cover your taxes come tax time if you don't have a cpa yet and that is definitely something. I is covered in the First strategy you know making sure that taxes are incorporated in your plan so that you are not surprised or not prepared. You know for that tax bill. Should you have one Okay great i am. Always a proponent of maximizing mind taxes so what are some of those strategies that we can use to maximize our tax savings. Are there some strategies that you like to use maybe within profit. I that we can start to think about or adapt to lessen them out. We pay taxes legally of course or some tips to maximize what we're doing. Yes so i'll talk first about you know some tax strategies that you can use and then we can go into profit first later. Yeah so we're all now. Most of us right are in the online environment right and so one tax deduction to think about. Is the home office deduction a lot of entrepreneurs don't either not aware or they just don't take the home office deduction when it's available to them now remembering that you have to have revenue in order to take the deduction because it's a reduction of your income right and so let's say that your in a thousand square unit. Is your apartment your home whatever it is. Let's keep the numbers simple and you have your office. Space is two hundred square feet. So that's one fifth of your entire home than you can actually be taking one fifth of your home expenses. So if this is you know your mortgage you're taking one fifth of your property taxes one fifth of your interest expense on the mortgage one fifth of the utilities. May so this can add up to a significant amount. And so it's important to make sure that you have a tax accountant. That's going to be asking you those questions for example. Maybe they have like a checklist of things that you'll supposed to provide as opposed to some tax accountant. It's just another number for them and so whatever you give to them. That's what they use right and so it's important to have someone that's gonna produce for the extra information whether it's through a checklist so that you know all year. I need to provide this information. So that i can get that deduction Yeah and that's one. That i really love a specially if people are kind of considering maybe renting a space outside of their home or using a co working space or even getting an office. If you're just on your own your team is.

"It twice a year. Or do you want that separately into your contract that twice year they bill you for that separately, So it's not built into the monthly amount, actually, Same with flowers or annual same thing. Do you want that built separately? So then, that way, Sometimes you can say I don't want to put flowers on this quarter, or do you want it built into the contract itself, where it spread out over 12 months, Okay? And then the company three times a year or twice a year, automatically puts the flowers in. Makes sense. And folks remember everything that William is suggesting. In a request for proposal. We want everything you want everything to be in writing. In writing is the most important thing that we can get across on this show. You know, the other thing is Once you have these things in there, it's very important to know. Does the contractor that you're hiring have an inspection process? How are you knowing that he's actually doing the work? Is he that does the contractors uh, office send you over a notification on on what days are going to be there that month? Whether it's irrigation or pest control? How many, Uh, service calls that particular month there's going to be so that's really important to make sure that you know that they have a form. Of inspection that they can either have somebody sign off on. If you have somebody it's working on property like a property manager. That's uh, an on site manager. Some properties have what they call a portfolio manager. And a portfolio manager may only work on the property 10 hours or 20 hours a week. So those managers they would have to be arranged to meet on the property to go around and do the inspection to make sure everything's being done very. And, you know, it's very important. You've heard this many times. Inspect what you expect. Sure, right? So if you don't inspect what you expect You may not be happy with the end results. You know, down the line, right? Do you have to set the expectations? And I guess that's the point of the request for proposal. Exactly A lot of times. Uh whoa. Go and look at the property and We're looking at the rest request for proposal that's been handed to us and we're looking around and we're going. Wow. You know what? This request for proposals and excellent request for proposal. But what I'm looking at on the property. None of this is being done. Apparently, you can tell the property has not been well fertilized. There's pest damage around the property. There's irrigation issues. So my question always goes back to is. Do you have your last inspection report from the current company that is servicing the property so we can review it? And hopefully you get more than a blank stare. When you ask that question again, most of the time we get the blanks there. I see. All right. Absolutely. Okay. Insurance requirements. Uh, Reno that that's very important. So, I mean, you know, you should have an established amount. Of insurance requirements, depending on the company and a lot of times your insurer. If you have an insurer, they'll tell you what the report what they think the requirements should be, for that contractors. Sure, hold whether it's you know, a million $2 million general liability coverage. Whether it's 500 to a million dollars on the vehicles that are driving on the property. There's different insurance coverages for different things. General liability is if something was the fly and get damage a vehicle hitting a so if they didn't have proper vehicle coverage and a vehicle hit something general liability won't cover that. I see you got to have the different insurance coverages. And then there's Workman's comp, you know, so that's the state requirement for employers that have We're all their workers and going back to home owners. A lot of these homeowners hire people in the neighborhood and again if they don't have a corporation, and they don't have license and they don't have insurance. They surely don't have workmen's cop on their employees. And if one of their employees gets hurt on their property, their the end user and today we're where, unfortunately a sue happy, uh, environment sad But true, Yes. And if an employee falls on the property, Uh, what usually happens is, uh if he if he did not Workman's cop and the company didn't have Proper insurance. Uh, the attorneys are going to go after the homeowner. Yeah, or or the property owner. If it's a it's a rental community, if it's uh if it's an H O A. They're going to go after the homeowner association to cover all that are You know, loss of time for work. The injury itself, the medical. It all will fall on that community, and we certainly know from our experience here, and I heard media that that is not the case with Qatar's edge. Oh, that you provide workers cop and some of the crew members that you had out here or really doing some kind of some tricky you work when it comes to being way up in the error. And you know of the high trees and I I think you have some people who specialize just in working way up in the air, and that's a That's a great point. Right? Because a lot of times, uh, these smaller lawn companies Because they're they're trying to make an extra buck. Uh, they'll go. Yeah, we can trim those trees We can climb up in a tree and trim on every aspect of the landscape industry requires a different license. Uh uh, The insurance is different. The workman's comp coverage is different from, uh, long person to a tree climber. It's much higher for a tree climber. Uh, Also the license requires certain training, so they have to go through training throughout the earth, So they have to have a certain amount of hours of training each year for each category. So again why it's important that if you're hiring a tree trimmer, you're hiring a license tree trimmer tributaries? Sure. The other thing is is you know when you're looking for these contractors, and again, this goes back to any type of contractor landscape or not. You want a list of references while with phone numbers, so you can give a call to somebody and say, How was this guy on your project? How does he do on your community? Can I come out to your community and take a look at it? And, you know, make a date just especially with, you know, large properties. You know, you may have to get put on the list of the security guard check to get into the property. But most communities, the managers, they're very apt. They're like, Yeah, absolutely. Come take a look at my property. You know, we love our landscaper, and we're very proud. Come take a look at and you could drive through our property. So most are very open to allow you to come out and take a look at the property. So it's really good to go and take a look at the work that the other company was doing before you accept their bids. And so a couple other things, you know. Don't take the word that their license require copies of the license. Absolutely in the bed. Uh huh. Uh Certificates. Any certificates they have, or associations, uh, that they're involved in. Well, if they're landscape inspectors, those are always great to have because it gives them even more knowledge and make sure you're getting out qualified person. If you're a very large property and inventory, their truck, some equipment So you know that they have the proper equipment and trucks to be able to handle your size property. Some some communities even require a P N l. They want to make sure your companies large enough and has the funds to be able to handle your proper interesting A P and l a P. And L. Yep, required required that they be have a drug free policy. Absolutely, you know, distracted drivers policy. And a documented safety program. That's interesting with your track experiment and you know p carroll came out and said this week that he loved it and all that stuff and i think a lot of people thought it was admirable what went into the thought process there. I know you wanted to try. It is that just a philosophy that you have or you just want to try a bunch of different stuff and and see what sticks what what went into that. Decay will after baker chase down. They added me on twitter. All right come here and not run at one of your trial v. ten sure enough. "Right? Alright. So so, yes. So planning is and having the written plan in the key. You gotta have a document here is what I've got here is what I can spend and people holding at like gold. I mean, I have clients to go to retire that the call me You know, David, You know, my boss was mean to me today. But, you know, I don't think I want to work anymore. But because I know I could retire, right? Some people love their job. Part of it is just having the ability to retire. Sure, right? Well, something happens. So some people are blessed enough where they don't love their job. But maybe they can't. They can't work anymore. Maybe one day they decide they don't because they don't like their boss or whatever it is. Having that plan in your pocket, so to speak, can give you the freedom of feeling empowered to be able to say Hey, if I if I don't wanna work any more than that, I know that I don't have to. Absolutely. And then David. Once you are able to put a plan in place for someone how often do you recommend that they review the plan with you to make sure that it's working properly for them? I like to see clients a minimum twice a year, you know, probably see my was found a couple times a year. If they're closer to retirement, Maybe maybe more. But I would say, Adam, we reach out to clients. If if we have seen them in one will do reviews when, once a year at a minimum, I think twice years better but again. If somebody's closer to retirement, and they're talking the next year, I may want to see them more often. But if if you have a really good plan And is well thought out. You don't need to visit it every month, right? But a couple times a year is good at least once a year to do a full review of here's where you're at were. Here's what your real estates worth. Here's the Here's the tax or looking like again. Are we going to do some tax planning this year? Are we gonna decides that's a big reason his taxes? Maybe there's opportunities that year to do some planning that we didn't think about whether to the state taxes or whether it's income taxes. Capital gains taxes, maybe some giving that we want to do some charitable giving. So I think from a tax perspective, I think annual reviews are important. Just just on that alone, even the investments or finding everything else. I think the taxes should be revisited every year. Okay for for sure. Okay. Okay. This'll is the perfect time for us, David to go ahead and open up the phone lines for the second time this week. Yes. Good to the viewing audience at home. The number to call is 866. 7393775 again. 8667393775. If you have questions about your retirement plan, let David take a look into a complementary retirement review for you again. You have 500,000 and above and acid That's going to be something that benefits you greatly. The number to call is 8667393775. And I love how we were talking about what the experience feels like when someone comes in for the very first time, So let's share that with the viewing audience. What can they expect to feel when they first come in? Well, we We try to do like a spa like, you know, we have a water feature and we way have you know I have all women in the office, so that's on purpose, so I would know what to do. But now we want to make it is as pleasure was, you know, as stress free as possible. You know it zero. It is intimidating. Sometimes to do that. You're exposing yourself with your finances. And and we take that seriously and want people to feel, you know, as comfortable as possible. So really relaxing. Obviously, this kind of conversation. Yeah, it's conversation. No, Jen talk. Is it? You know, we all need. I always say I'm half camp counselor, half adviser because a lot of you know you get very personal with clients and a lot of things that air, but that's what drives us to make decisions or not sure, And so we want to make it is as as as inviting as possible and as stress free as possible for clients to anything we've achieved that, you know. People comment on the office and they we have class. Just come by, and we have their favorite drinks and refrigerator and do so It's got a funny they get bored. Oh, you know, we're gonna come by. I'll be Yeah, the client come out. There's two clients in the hallway talking our staff. It's so way have great staff and great people. And we're very blessed to have, you know, have the have what we have. So we saw because of our clients. So we want to make the experience a zoo. Positive as possible. Okay, for for people that come to see us, Okay, so very relaxing. Kind of just getting to know one another, If you will. Is it about an hour consultation? David doesn't run longer. Usually it's probably I would say closer to 90 minutes, I'd walk out two hours for every every perspective client everybody that choose to come. See me. I don't want to be rushed. I don't want to be as wannabe lto really get to know somebody people always interesting. I wanna get to know you know, people, stories and what drives them? What's important to them on DSA to do that? You can't have. Okay. We have 45 minutes for a media. I just won't do that. Absolutely well. I cannot believe how fast our time goes together, David because again, it's just a wealth of information that you're giving to the viewing audience. I know, of course with the radio show the TV and now this way of reaching people as well with this program. It's just amazing, and people are just so receptive, and they can't wait to hear. You know what you have to say..

"Drinking feel our Yes, It's Jimmy San Tangelo Jimmy, the wine guy. He is the proprietor, The Empresario, the Chief cook and bottle washer. At the wine Academy of Utah. And Jimmy is here to talk about whiskey. Campfire whiskey. Good morning, Mr Santo Angelo. Good morning, everyone. How's everyone doing? Thanks for having me on this morning. Talk about this great product. Yeah, what it let's let's just get right into it, huh? This This isn't unusual product, I think from Hi, west distilleries. Yeah, You don't see Ah blended whisky of this sort, with the characteristics often done in such a fine job. I gotta tell you so what the high West campfire whiskey is, it's a blend of three different whiskeys. It's a blend of bourbon, a blend of rise and then a blend of Pete ID. Scotch whiskey. So that's where you get that touch of smokiness from, I don't know books. Heat is real interesting. It's it's uh, the peat key 80 that Thai spell it. Pete is found about a meter down in the ground. You dig it up. It's this valuable substance, almost clay like And you dry it out and then you burn it. We used to use it for fuel in Scotland in the 16 17 hundreds, and that's where they smoked. They dried out the grain. And that smokiness from the peat attached to the grain. And when they went to the still from that barley that smoked petered barley. The cat is really cool. Um, smoky kind of maritime kind of this, Um Greatest like your next to a campfire at the end. At the end of the day, um, kind of aromatic through the whiskey. It really does. It smells kind of like a campfire, and there's even as sort of a taste reminiscent. The campfire sitting there and, you know, it's the end of the I've been on a cattle drive. And, you know, I bet with me into the cattle drive. Yeah. It's subtle. It's not over the head. It's not bunking on ahead like a single malt peaty Scotch whisky from Isla, Um, where it That's all it is. This is really well ingrained. It's uh, you know, this is also a blend of 4 to 8 year old whiskey's together, so it's got some barely statement to it. You have Brand new American Char bells that it's been set in a little bit of second use barrels, so it's a really handcrafted find product that's been blended together. No, You know what the best part is, You know, that's part. Sorry, Bill. The best part is that it's limited here in Utah, right? You can't fire used to be all across the country, but it's been narrowed down and because we love it so much here in the state and showed so much support. This camper was part of their limited release program of twice years, spring and fall will see a command now. This would be good in mixed drinks. I would think some sort of how would you mix this campfire? High West campfire whiskey? What would you do with it? So you can blend in two different ways. I like it as a take on the rusty nail, which has got to dream buoy something out the Scotch whisky for this campfire with the DRAM buoys. That I created that cocktail at the Metropolitan Restaurant back in the day with Karen Elson. Now you guys remember that restaurant? Of course. Sure. Yeah, And that was a lot of fun called it The American Joe Little take on it with having an American whiskey in that, But also I love this. I love this with coffee. Um, making an Irish taken an Irish coffee. Um, you use about an ounce of the whiskey three ounces of hot coffee, maybe a little sugar in there a little demure or sugar in the raw, simple syrup and then floated with just a little bit of heavy cream, not integrating it in. But just the floats When you sip that Yeah. You get a chill. You get the chill of the cream on the palate. You get the heat of the coffee and the sting of the whiskey. It all mixes real nice together. That sounds great. I have all of those ingredients available to me now they're just right here. S Oh, hi. Hi west Campfire whiskey, and you can only get it in Utah. Now. That's pretty cool, eh? So let's prices 64 bucks at the state stores, and it's pretty widely available right now, but that's it. It's a one and done released. So see it on the shelf. Grab it. Ah, Ah and I I always get to because I'll give one to a friend or mail to a buddy out of town. So it's a fun. Uh, it's a good opportunity. So Jimmy Wine Academy of Utah still got plenty of events going on. What what? What can people look for if they go to Wine Academy? Of Utah dot home Yep, Just go right to our tasting events Tab and we released all our summer in home wine events. We've got these new events, new wines, new presentations. "I think i may have sent you about this. Maybe once or twice years ago maybe in the beginning of the trump regime. But i think where the one thing i think where you and i definitely disagree as i don't see the point in interviewing a tucker carlson show because they're nothing they say will be in reality or truth so at the end none of it i just i think her carlson is out there. Making a persuasive argument on behalf of the middle class. I think he also does it in ways that are inappropriate and and sometimes downright downright race racist. But you don't think there's any truth at all to what they like to the. Maybe they're they're making maybe there. I'm thinking of like the times when like cnn would put on kellyanne conway like that. I was vehemently against because that is nothing but lies. Oh yes it is. Kellyanne conway has she. Wouldn't she would tell you. Today was not wednesday. I mean it's i had conway on three times and what i'll say is every time i felt like they were diminishing returns. It was getting less valuable to the viewer. we didn't. We didn't ask her back anymore. But i mean she started off with with what was it. the presidency to watch how she deflects was newsworthy. For a while. I i respect you disagree. But i i can get that i get talker and hannity because they host cable news programs and is something mayor about what they do on the show not do interviewing techniques that you know i mean i can see that more than like the kellyanne conway's and the and the killing mcenany who never once told one truthful statement so i can give you the tucker and hannity feud interview them. I would not. I wouldn't probably complain about well. I tried and they didn't wanna talk to me for my book. Go go figure good news. Is everybody else. A fox wanted to talk to you. Get like all. Do you get all the fox. News viewers tweeting. You like what those guys are saying. And and you know some nights..

So after the announcement that JJ Watt was leaving the Texans in the obvious question was, Where's this guy gonna end up? Might be Pittsburgh, where he could link up with his brothers. I'm like the idea of three Watts three. Watts in the same locker room is pretty absurd Images of JJ And T. J murdering opposing quarterbacks in black and gold had Steeler fan peeking. One problem. Pittsburgh has got serious cap space problems. They're currently about 30 mil over the cap. I'm no cap colleges, but that does not sound like that's going to add up to a third one. Green Bay, then was floated as a possible destination. After all, he was born in Wisconsin. He grew up in Wisconsin played his college ball at Wisconsin was wearing a badger sweatshirt in his announcement. Video. You couple that with the fact that it feels like there is pressure on the Packers to improve that team and keep Aaron Rodgers and keep him happy. So that seems like that's a pretty damn good fit. Except the Packers are somewhere in the neighborhood of over 19 million. Over the cap. Then this report from Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland dot com. "If if we have seen them in one will do reviews and once a year at a minimum, I think twice years better but again. If somebody's closer to retirement, and they're talking the next year, I may want to see them more often. But if if you have a really good plan And is well thought out. You don't need to visit every month, right? But a couple times a year is good at least once a year to do a full review of here's where you're at were. Here's what your real estates worth. Here's the Here's the tax or looking like again. Are we going to do some tax planning this year? Are we gonna decides that's a big reason his taxes? Maybe there's opportunities that year to do some planning that we didn't think about whether to the state taxes or whether it's income taxes. Capital gains taxes, maybe some giving that we want to do some charitable giving. So I think from a tax perspective, I think annual reviews are important. Just just on that alone, even the investments or find everything else. I think the taxes should be revisited every year. Okay for for sure. Okay, okay. This is the perfect time for us, David to go ahead and open up the phone lines for the second time this week. Yes, good to the viewing audience at home. The number to call is 866. 7393775 against 8667393775. If you have questions about your retirement plan, let David take a look into a complementary retirement review for you again. You have 500,000 and above and acid That's going to be something that benefits you greatly. The number to call is 8667393775. When I love how we were talking about what the experience feels like when someone comes in for the very first time, So let's share that with the viewing audience. What can they expect to feel when they first come in? Well, we try to do like a spa like, you know, we have a water feature, and we have you know, I have all women in the office, so that's on purpose, so I would know what to do. But now we want to make it is as pleasures pile, you know, as stress free as possible. You know, it's you know, it is intimidating. Sometimes to do that. You're exposing yourself with your finances, and and we take that seriously and want people to feel, you know, as comfortable as possible, so really relaxing car. Was there a sign of a conversation? It's conversation. No, Jen talk. Is it? You know, we all need. I always say I'm half camp counselor, half adviser because a lot you know you get very personal with clients and a lot of things that air, but that's what drives us to make decisions or not sure, And so we want to make it is as inviting as possible and as stress free as possible for clients to anything we've achieved that, you know. People comment on the office and they we have classes come by and we have their favorite drinks and refrigerator and do so It's got a funny they get bored. Oh, you know, we're gonna come by. I'll be Yeah, the client come out. There's two clients in the hallway talking to our staff so way have great staff and great people. And we're very blessed to have, you know, have the Havel we have. So we saw because of our clients. So we want to make the experience a zoo. Positive as possible. Okay, for for people that come to see us, Okay, so very relaxing. Kind of just getting to know another if you will. Is it about an hour consultation? David doesn't run longer. Usually it's probably I would say closer to 90 minutes, I'd walk out two hours for every every perspective client everybody that choose to come. See me. I don't want to be rushed. I don't want to be. I just want to be able t really get to know somebody people have raised interesting. I want you to know you know, people, stories and what drives them? What's important to them on DSA to do that? You can't have. Okay. We have 45 minutes for a media. I just won't do that. Absolutely well. I cannot believe how fast our time goes together, David because again, it's just a wealth of information that you're giving to the viewing audience. I know, of course with the radio show the TV and now this way of reaching people as well with this program. It's just amazing, and people are just so receptive, and they can't wait to hear..

"You notice a big difference, Especially those of you get very few fruits and vegetables. You're going to notice a difference. The very first day you use it now, Dr Levin. Funny thing. A friend of mine wanted to do it, juice cleanse and spent probably close to $200 buying one of those in the store with a handful of fresh pressed juices. And I mean, it's a fortune just for a three day cleanse. And what do you do after that? Talk about this. And how often do you want people taking O. J. C. The organic Juice plans, Right? Right. I've seen those online $200 for a three day cleanse. I mean, what the heck you gonna do after that? You do Ah, cleanse once a year or twice a year, And then that's it. I mean, Pat, Do you breathe in chemicals once for twice a year or every day every day. Do you eat foods that have pesticide, their herbicides and contaminants once or twice a year or every day every day every day, Right? So cleansing and detoxifying isn't something you do once or twice a year. I mean, would you shower once or twice? Year. I got a better one. Would you vacuum your house once a year? Exactly. So the bottom line is we want to think about getting this junk this toxic junk out of our systems on a regular basis. Now, the first way you do that is making sure you have enough fiber because that's how you flush out that G. I tract. You want to eat the food? Extracted nutrients and rush the waste out of your system rapidly. That's why we have a full 5 G of fiber in the organic juice cleanse. But secondly, the liver support blend the broccoli, the milk, thistle and old super foods fighting nutrients to Berries. They go toe work, helping the liver to cleanse and detoxify the system. And they do it every single day because you come in contact with toxins every single day. This is a soft, gentle Boarding cleanse. Not a harsh plans like that three day cleanse you of your friend it right. So how often do you use O J? C. You use O J c every single day Because this is a supplement it fortifies the body. It adds those superfoods the antioxidants of vital nutrients, the vitamins and minerals from these super healthy foods And at the same time it supports your liver and its job cleansing detoxify your system. All right, So I'm looking at the clock here. The Times Just flown.
