I'm reminded of how the wealthy extreme wealth can lead to hedonism and can lead to just falling for all kinds of marketing ploys. The victorians had so many goods. The wealthier classes had so many goods that they didn't know what to do with them after a while they were just piled everywhere there was there was no gold studied. Diamond studded tissue boxes and fainting couches. Really i'm serious fainting couches. Just so you can feign. Just a couch see could faint. Oh we need to bring those back. The truth is news that we can find that before. I get our little new session here today. I'd like to start off with brite with a with a brief lesson in history Said breach there for a minute or brees in a nice french cheese now. Brief brief lesson in history In the days of your there were a certain Kind of people now Some of these people were known as men. Some of them were in. This is around the victorian area around tapping about these people were called men these People who walked around with their chest puffed out stuff like that and some of them are in the title and some of them didn't There were a lot of lazy men there all kinds of crazy men that were honorable men. They're dishonorable men There were men of character there. Were you know. Men of intellect They were men of religion. They spiritual men. There were men who feared the end of days. They're all kinds of men. And amongst those men they're set a subset of men and they were known as flaps. What is what is what does it mean to be foppish. Well thought is a man who wears excessively beautiful clothing and extravagant clothes and dresses up constantly and in fact is obsessed with his appearance. Narcissism narcissism is Something that you're born with this factory can be developed by anyone. Anyone can be up at any time. So why am i talking about that well. Social media is filled absolutely filled with fox. People who love these. These men and women doesn't really matter what the gender is but they're so obsessed with the way they look and they're so obsessed with being perfect in every way and they're so obsessed with being perfect in every little way that they need to come to your account your social media account and make fun of the things that you're wearing because that's the hit cool thing that the kids are doing these days.

"Hitter good morning this year host. Jeff ski kinsey. It is another great day and say any day you wake up and you don't have a white chalk outline around your body. It's a great day all that quote from less brown one of my favorite motivational speakers. Back my number one motivational speaker. Zig was good. Don't get me wrong. Big zig ziglar fan but less just has a way of bringing it down to earth for me. I guess but hey this is day. Five of the new year of the new month. That's right day. Five zero zero five twenty twenty one. Were you gonna do with it. What are you doing with it. If you're looking for something to do you could join me in my ninety day. Challenge to wholeness. What would it be like to be whole in both your business and personal life. Can you imagine that with me. I can. I'm pretty close. I'm pretty doggone close. of course i've been at it awhile figure some things out but the probably the the smartest thing i've ever done in my life and my career is figure out that if i want to accomplish something there's probably somebody else. It's already accomplished it or something very similar. And if i take the pages out of their playbook. I can make it happen for me. Let me say that again mentors. Mentorship mentoring is a key that you can do it yourself. There's there's a lot of people that have figured it out on their own. I'm not one of those people. Now get me in a room with a bunch of pieces parts or devices. I know how to disassemble and reassemble them. What john the colonel. John boyd called destruction in ton -struction and how to build snowmobiles. You get me in a room with a bunch of devices. I can turn down. Put them back together in a whole host of arrangements. Okay but it's so much easier so much faster to find somebody else that's done it and grab onto their coat. Tails does that make some sense. I hope so so. I've got a blog going. I've got some private links for you. I've got some podcasts and videos. What i call live cass. I've got all kinds of materials to help you get where you want to go in help you find somebody to help you get where you want to go. If i'm not the person how cool is that. That's even better. That's worth a lot more money. By the way that i mentioned most of this free i just want to help or pay it forward. I got a lot of things left that i wanted to do. Even though some of you might say well. What's that old geezer. No i got a lot more stuff. I want to get done and so i'm excited to get up every morning and get out there and get after.

"And so you can become a millionaire in just ninety days in this program could get you there if you do even half the stuff i suggest. I think you will be able to accomplish it. And i'd love to hear your feedback. And the reason i'm doing. This is because. I want to apply those concepts and become that millionaire in just ninety days because remember you have not because you ask not so the universe. My abilities my talents. Everything that's within me. A masking it to align itself with my goal my mission. My vision of becoming a millionaire within ninety days sounded absurd. Great you're enright. Spot sound unbelievable even better sound impossible. Yup you're in the right spot but what if just what if it is possible. Think about that. What could you do differently with a million dollars in your hand that you can't do today or yesterday or december thirty first in the year. Twenty twenty what a disaster. That was right. Think about it. are you thinking about it. I don't know that's a great thing about a video conference call is you can get a sense of a person. Their body language. It may be even you know what's going on behind their eyeballs. But i'm gonna to have to trust you if you're not interested in becoming a millionaire unless maybe you're already millionaire. That's fine but still the stuff that we're going to cover in these ninety days. I think are going to be profound. They're going to help you and the system. You can turn somebody else onto as well now at so bottom line. It's going to be just about as great a day as you make up your mind to make it so join me in. Let's make it a fabulous day. Remember what les brown said. He goes look any day. You wake up and you don't have a white chalk outline around your body. It is a great day. So tell your face let your body. No it's a great day. We'll stuff happen. Sure some of a good some of it. Not so good. But it's your attitude at your vantage point. Henry ford supposedly said if it's the be it's up to me. "Neat things about it is you can create other platforms with it And we created one called virtuality sweet and so it's a catch all for all the neat stuff i want to do and i can spin up a brand new skill like i said when we hang up here on drive back to the house and created amount in the mobile recording studio which is a kia. Rio 'grande some of you know them as a kia soul on craig skill what you do is you you say alexa. Launch virtuality suite which is our platform. Then it's gonna prompt you and say well what's what's the what skill or survey or key word. Prompt what skill you want me to run. And that's like a subset if you will. So you're running. A skill called virtuality sweet in within it i can create and spin up instantly unlimited number of skills and so i'm gonna create a skill. Okay sorry. I did confirm that it was available. So he's going to say alexa launch virtuality sweet and at the prompt. You're going to say my first day in it's gonna step you through the skill. I'm going to create here in a few minutes. Solomon because when god asking you know what you want you know he said you know i need wisdom. I need to be smart. I need you know. I got this people. He was king of israel and he said i need. "I'm excited about the new year the new month to new day. And here's what i want accomplish. But they're you're you're sitting at home you're unemployed and you're saying you know maybe today's the day i oughta actually worry about myself out of worry i ought to be and i don't like the term worry i don't want you to worry. I should be. I should be excited to make a way in the world for myself. I think being an entrepreneur is many people's mind included. Our best destiny has sparked might say so. You're sitting there you're unemployed. What are we gonna do well. The first thing we have to do is we have to understand what we're working with. King solomon said you've got to know the state of your flock. Okay how many's in the flock what's the condition or the all healthy wealthy and wise. If they're sheep are they all were. They're supposed to be down by the river getting a drink a cool water so we have to take stock of you. So here's what we're gonna do. We're going to break this down into a number of weeks okay. And we're gonna take this first week. These first seven days of the year in. We're going to take stock of where you're at what your strengths are. Guess what. I don't care what your weaknesses are. I don't care if you can't spell. Guess what. I'm a horrible speller. You know how you fix that you get in the lexa vice where you download the alexa app for your phone. Or your tablet and yasser. "Hey there good morning. It is a new day a new month and the new year and it is well. Hey i'm your host. Jeff ski kinsey. And this is my little corner on the internet. A podcast. i've been podcasting. Wow since two thousand and five. That's like a long time. Doesn't it of literally recorded thousands of sessions. But this is a brand new day new month new year's i said and so let's start with something new. So what can we do. That's brand new owner of the occasion by the way happy new year's day. Well here's what we can do. We can send out a mission for ourselves. A goal or purpose of vision an end point somewhere in the future. Let's set one ninety days out from today and let's say we're going to accomplish some things within the next ninety days then we're going to put together a plan. Then we're actually going to put some boots on crown and start putting one foot in front of the other till we get there so that makes some sense great. So what should we plan on in the next ninety days. Well one of my favorites if your business is doubling sales. That's right together. We could double your sales in the next ninety days if your business. I and you're not in the food or beverage industry. I have never done that. I've stayed away from it and especially now given what happened last year. Thank goodness is in our rear view mirrors. But i still don't do food or beverage. never have never will. It's something that. I decided that. I just wanna go. They're just not as much fun as working say in the motorcycle industry or the tax base or the startup space or ev's or renewable energy like a lot of neat things to do so. It's just best if i stay out of certain industries. So let's say let's say you don't own a business. Let's say you're sitting there unemployed. Okay and you're saying i know there's a job there for me k. What i think you have to do is you have to tell yourself you have to get up every morning. Look yourself in the mirror and say look. I got this if it's to be it's up to me if it's to be for you it's up to you. I get encouraged. I can try to help motivate you but motivation is an internal thing you have to basically justify to yourself right but i can help and i can point you to some some people that that excite me get me moving in the right direction and they may or may not work for you. Is that fair enough okay. So here's the plant. We're going to find something worthy to work on together. You and i in. It's not a one sided conversation. By the way i'd love for you to reach out to me. Pick up your mobile phone. If by the way i could only right now work with people in the us of a. Preferably in the forty eight continental states For a number of reasons one of which is the best way to reach me as pick up your mobile phone..

"And it's also available on I tunes it. C H, A S, as why, why did you at Corolla decide to get out in front of people stripped down to nothing but your courage and do a standup special. You know, it's something that I always felt like what's for other people and other comedians I have a weird sort of self esteem. And the fact that this stand up special has the word special in it, and the Corollas don't do anything special. So I think it kinda kept me away from doing one at was always like, oh, that's rather people. But at a certain point, I realized I've been doing so much. They end up traveling around and have so much material that what's wrong with doing a stand special. It was like I gave myself permission to do a stand up special. I know that sounds stupid from guys head a bunch of TV shows and radio shows and written a bunch of books and made a bunch of movies and stuff like that. But I still felt like that was for other people. And I just kind of like almost emotionally gave myself permission to go to a stand up special and. It turned out great. So I'm very, very proud of it. When you mentioned the self esteem stuff. What are you talking about there? I just I, I have a weird relationship with performing, which is like, I, I have a lot to say, and I'm good at saying it, but I come from a really downtrodden sort of weird family that never listened to anybody or meter never laughed, or never encouraged or something. So I, I have a strong streak in me that always sort of says, you know, why are you talking in front of this group of people? Why would they pay you to listen to what you have to say and it's I, I don't have stage fright? I have more like just kinda like why stagefright like what are you? What are you doing this so special? And so I've always kind of had that even though I've loved a love to talk. I and I love to, you know, tell stories and I love to tell jokes, I but I'm always kind of wrestled with my history. And my history is just really bad. Parents who kind of hounded the self esteem out of every anyone around him to be fair wasn't just as their kids. I'm curious though, because I've read some of the stuff that you've said about your father, and it's a bit heartbreaking, because you were really good at sports and he was not interested didn't seem likely what in what you were good at. Yeah. I mean it turns out. So I when I was a kid. So my, my early life. I was like I was good at sports, and I was good at football and no one in my family was interested in sports or football. So I sort of figured out and doing a kind of math, a kid, math and the kid mass was, well, I guess your family doesn't like football so okay. And then later on in life, I got into carpentry and building and construction, and that kind of architecture building furniture and cabinets and houses and stuff, and nobody likes that stuff either. So again, my mass was just like well, I guess they're not into football, I guess they're not into into building. And then I started getting an. Cars and vintage race cars and really historic and interesting race cars, and then racing race cars and then. Racing cars and doing Long Beach grand prix celebrity baba version of that race. And I won in the celebrity race..
