"We're live tonight it's a Monday hope you had a great weekend got a lot to talk about tonight there's been times what I've been told that the media has a tendency to focus on stories as distractions and there's so they can play well why is this story getting more attention and why do I have to hear about this story that story in this is that taking my mind off of this story will this was apparently I will it was especially apparent during the abstain death wall news stories of course must go on there are people who want to hear more about a certain story when it finally faces a tendency to think that all stories afterward distractions however I've been in the news business and I can tell you that there are times when stories reach dead ends and that's theirs is the need to move on you also have staying power like for example today I was I could believe as I was watching the news this morning and they were still story spitting out of the el Paso Dayton shootings the media won't let go of these stories because they still generate the political gun debate well sometimes the story wears out its welcome and and sometimes you wish that there's a a story they can put a nail in the coffin of overblown story well most news is nothing but a distraction in some form or fashion anyway either it is our report is a way to distract you from the important facts the story itself was almost always the case or offer the only reason it's even being reported in the first place is to distract from the story is too complex or is either gagged by editors so the most important editorial decision any propagandists makes in the media is what news you do cover and what news you don't cover or how you covered and what you decide you're going to cover and exploit the people in charge of the news people who control the national conversation in the media they're the ones we did push people into thinking a certain way in a large way they are making certain stories big deals and most the time if you stop and look at it the facts of the story don't seem to warrant it being such a big story after all but more importantly when they do this they they make sure the stories that might actually be important don't become big deals and so you can be sure that they do slip through the net and be and then we have a slightly bigger story the facts of the spin well they give a little bit of a push here a little bit of push there but they're always distract you from whatever's in port in the story and when all else fails you bring in a new story to push the other off the top of the mind to where the story that's out there at the moment so one of the biggest distracting stories today or it's been a distracting story since Thursday has been the Amazon fires in the over reaction the Amazon fires the game and I talked about the Amazon fires during my podcast of how the world will end in a city if the if the if the fires of the Amazon are that bad it would cause some climate problems but there were some things that I read and things that I you know got from sources and then I read south American sources okay and I realized something but the south American sources of what is going on the Amazon are not the same as the sources you're hearing here in the United States or the the sources in Europe and that's because of the fact that the Amazon fire is being used as once again another distraction as the distraction meaning that they're distracting you from other good stories that are out there pushing the issue of climate change again using the Amazon fires there has been out of that I want to make it clear okay I'm not saying that there are no fires in the Amazon because I don't want to end up I had quite says there's no fire the I was out running right now he's old news no there are fires burning in the Amazon and there has been an increase of fires burning but last week there was this I guess you caught outrage it was coming from celebrities environmentalists and political leaders and you are blaming the Brazilian president and chair bull sorrow for destroying the world's largest rainforests they're saying wall there you know the Amazon is being destroyed by the president and and here's the thing they call it belongs of the world they call the the the they call the Amazon the lungs were about the lungs of the world claim is hype it's all hype again there is no science to back up that claim at all of the Amazon breeze a lot of oxygen course for use the same amount of oxygen for respiration plants use restoration convert nutrients from worlds from the soil and the energy and the use photosynthesis to convert light to a chemical energy which can later be used in restoration so the New York times and the wash imposed were using all kinds of interesting ways of can I conveying what the Amazon forest is they said that they were the lungs of the world they reported that once the rain forest burned it cannot be restored and that's a lie that's not true we know that the complex system always restored to sell to the previous fires in an area but once again the long so long as we have that's just the tip of the iceberg consider this CNN ran a long segment with the banner fires burning at record rate in Amazon forest while leading climate reporter claimed and the current fires without precedent in the past twenty thousand years once again big lie these these are lies all of our lives well the number of fires in twenty nineteen is indeed eighty percent higher than in twenty eighteen it's just seven percent higher than the average over the last ten years and the idea that fires don't happen in the I I read that to the fires don't happen in the Amazon that's nonsense as well their fires all the time happening in that area local farmers in the area they said blazes in there and they said fires a and there seems to be this overwhelming hysteria about the fires even though there have been fires in the region before in fact the photos of the fires you seeing going all over the internet they're not the real photos of fires their photos all the fires in Brazil but and in some of their nothing Brazil I saw one on the internet they should elephant that was his feet were burning there are no elephants in in South America that would live in the rainforest okay none it was actually a number of photos of the fires in being used by the media and Madonna and Leonardo di Caprio for actually spreading these pictures on Instagram one it was a picture from twenty thirteen it was far from the Amazon it was another making the rounds of taking in the Amazon thirty years ago another thirty years ago third twenty thirteen thirty years ago and then of course nineteen eighty nine there was a a picture of the twenty thirteen and then thirty years ago to a nineteen eighty nine they have a sent a manual McCrone Ricky Martin Lee Arnold Capri also shared pictures from thirty years of nineteen eighty nine so there you go it's it's pretty bizarre are other examples of photos misleading and and that are used to raise awareness right now some some of been just completely of other fires at not necessary the Amazon once again it means that there there it it does not mean there are no fires it just appears in the media and celebrities are over reacting because their agenda push climate change there was a then fired metal magazine I think it's called very hot of I remember I was reading it reading parts I don't speak up Portuguese all that well how to read it I can read it okay because I I can read Spanish but apparently as I was reading what was going on here they said that most of the coverage in the United States the fires has been misleading and that Hollywood is grab hold of it in that it really made a mockery of it all one of things that Amazon forest fires is that what may happen in many of them do their hidden by the tree canopies in only increase during drought years so what's going on in the Amazon right now the fires are burning they're not a global crisis okay not a global crisis whatsoever there's nothing abnormal about the claim of this year or the rainfall in the Amazon just a little below average according to Alberto Setzer whose researcher Brazil's National Institute for space research and this is from Reuters said the dry season create favorable conditions for the use and spread of fire starting a fire is the work of humans it's either deliberately or by accident so the Amazon blazer being supportive of climate change agenda we knew this would be the truth and.
