Missions to Mars, the Moon and Beyond Await Earth in 2021

"He may have been asked to have that. Removed nasa net nasa gets pumped for twenty twenty one with hype video full of moon dreams and mars. Hope nasr's big plans for the year but doing space is still pretty hard. Last year was a big one for space missions. We got We got man missions back to the international space station. After many years of the shuttle being retired it's amazing. How long we relied on the russians. Now we don't have to write them a check but the russians are still lifting astronauts. The iss many most of them are from other countries. Now the space agency released a video previewing hyping. His plans for the new year and the moon is the star of the show. Why are we going back to the moon. Really you know honestly is that. Make any sense for some of you. Don't think we went to the moon begin with i think they ought to land on one of those missions close to a nasa landing site from the early days in. Show us some of that stuff. Did they left while the video. Swallow hope and optimism We know that the space launch system has delays is largely because of coronavirus pandemic parts parts parts and parts and parts and parts. I'm having issues getting some stuff here too that i need because there's no parts the first big test of the orion spacecraft is in the works for twenty twenty one with artists one. But we'll have to wait and see if the unscrewed mission able to launch this year after all and Of course the presser veers roller is set for a landing on mars on february tnt. So we got that to look forward to the twenty one minutes of how or whatever it's called If all goes well mark the start of a long range plan to bring martian rock samples back to earth and of course the much much delayed. James webb space telescope is still on the calendar for an october thirty first launch date. We spent so much money on the james webb space telescope. I just everyone will probably be holding their breath all the way to or visit with this thing and at the same time. The hubble is well you know well at its end of life you know well close to its end of life issues and we got a lot of the hubble is operating in your systems have died and there's no way to go and repair it so I wonder what they're gonna would have to do. If the james webb space telescope had issues once they launched but so

Netflix Misses Q3 Subscriber Forecast, Stock Falls

"In the past twelve months shares of Netflix are up more than two hundred percent so. Forgive me for not wringing my hands over the fact that shares of Netflix are down about six percent. This morning third quarter profits came in lower than expected. That said. Weakest. Subscriber growth in four years. That's I don't know. It doesn't seem like something to worry a lot about, but it certainly is noteworthy. Actually, think it's something that's kind of to be expected. So there's something called the pull forward effect, which is there's rapid growth in the first half of the year. So then the dot com steals, the subscribers would have happened in the back half of the year. So they added two point, two, million new subscribers, which is less than the three point three, million predicted. By. In total for the year, they added over twenty six million customers, which is more than they did of all of last year. So through the first nine months of twenty, twenty they've. got a point, one million members and they're on pace to add thirty, four, million users in two, thousand twenty, which will be their strongest year of growth. Aber so even though this quarter is the lowest number. Since two thousand fifteen if you kind of zoom out look at the big picture, they're going to to almost two hundred million customers in total, which if you're going to compare it to Disney sixty point, five, million subscribers who has about thirty million. So it's still by and large the most popular. Streaming site. Did Not get a chance to listen to the conference call. Do you know the extent to which management game guidance on production schedule because that's certainly we certainly seen that in the traditional movie? Industry, of Television as well to a lesser degree, but we've seen a lot of movies just stopped production altogether. Did they give any guidance on their own pipeline? They did. So they finish fifty projects since the initial shutdown and they will release more programs next year in twenty twenty, one minute didn't twenty twenty. They are returning to production mainly in Europe and in Asia not as much. So in the US, they're currently filming season for of Stranger things they're filming red notice which I don't know if that's based on the book by Bill. Browder. But if it is, I'm excited to watch it. They're filming season two of the witcher. So they seem that they are both finishing filming finishing production and filming and re ramping filming outside of the US. One of the things I did know Yeah. The headline is a subscriber growth in four years their subscriber growth in the Asia Pacific region was really strong this last quarter. Yeah, it was the largest contributor to paid membership growth. So it was forty six percent of the global paid net ads. So I think that that's an interesting kind of problem or gift that they have is they now have such a global subscriber base. So you have to see shows that are in English, and then you have to see shows that are in different languages and you have to see show that widely appeal like I don't know if you watched Indian matchmaking but that was an interesting show that appealed to. I think you know I'm not watching a match making show I heard a plus reviews my sister really liked it. But I think that that's an interesting kind of experiment and you see that it was very popular in India but it was also super popular in the US trying to figure out how they can get shows and movies that have that wide appeal while also focusing on those knee shows as well that do really well like the umbrella academy or the Social Dilemma the documentary that came out.

So what it was. He was saying all the time, we've been concentrating on reducing the noise four the person wearing the headphones the wireless. Right. But we haven't thought till now reduced the noise that's going to go into the phone call. He's making or if he's doing instructions to his virtual assistant. Oh, so this new headset has eight microphones for them for noise. That's a round. You two of them for noise. That is directed toward the Mike's you're going to speak in and two more that can shift function depending on with noises worst. So you still get the traditional noise cancelling the jet engine. Whatever exactly exactly people sitting next to, you won't hear echo talking to you. Well. It's better than that. So he says, let's call somebody, it's a noisy Starbucks so they call somebody and it's a Bose guy. Yes. And then he says, you know, if you want to go to the window, and you'll see a guy in the back waving. That's where he is. He's in that I don't know how they found the hotel with the Starbucks across the street where you could look into window is that guy has to sit. For somebody to call. Yeah. Joe Joe's like the low. It was great. Oh my God. It was horrific Vigo homes and reclaims this title come on. That was that was the payoff of one of the great trilogies of all time. Mike who is my son Mike was really into into those so happy this again back when Mike was just starting high school, and Chris Chris would go to the movies starting high school in two thousand four in highschool. Well, no way two thousand five eighth grade eighth grade two thousand four. I was like you're way off by by a whole year. Chris will go to those movies with him. So the first Lord of the rings movie came out in two thousand one and it was two hours. Plus, and I took chap who is five or six at that time to see that movie, and we're like an hour and a half into the movie, and it looks means dad. My legs are tired. I gotta go home. Our family would not sports related because I'm told we're supposed to talk about sports, whatever since Kansas last didn't win a share of the big twelve regular season championship. The city of Boston sports as celebrated eleven title eleven Y'all five national titles for Nick Sabin, three national titles for ROY Williams, whom Bill self replaced, by the way in Kansas won national championship for Bill self of Kansas in two thousand eight when they beat Memphis. I just can't get Lord of the rings out of my head again that was a picture won the Oscars the year that before Kansas started winning all their titles in the big twelve. "Ninety two baseball hall of Famer Frank Robinson has died at eighty three first player to win an MVP in both leagues. Russell westbrook. Last night recorded his eighth straight triple double longest streak since the nine of Wilt Chamberlain back in sixty eight and the UPS driver, who's gut instinct may have saved the customer's life that story in about twenty minutes. A wave of bankruptcies is sweeping the US farm belts trade disputes pain to the low commodity prices that have been grinding down American farmers for years. Wall Street Journal reporter Jesse Newman has been combing through federal data that shows throughout much of the midwest. US farmers are filing for chapter twelve bankruptcy protection at levels not seen for at least a decade Jesse. What have you found? So what we found is that bankruptcies in three region covering major farms that produce a lot of the nation's grain and meat they rose in two thousand eighteen to the highest level in at least ten years. So we're talking about the seventh district the eighth district and the district which includes most of the big farm states. You can think of Illinois, Indiana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas and the state saw have been a rise in bankruptcy over the last couple years. So in the seventh district we saw back into double overtime. Past decade, essentially, the same things that the district and the tenth district saw about a sixty percent increase. So we're really starting to see the signs of this lump in grain prices that farmers have been dealing with for about five years. What has happened? What's what's brought the grain prices to this point? Sure. So farmers have been grappling with a downturn in the cultural sector, and that is a result of we've had a couple of years now about five years now of huge crops so record corn and soybean crops. It also can producing a lot of we and even milk and meat as well. And that has pushed down commodity prices and worked for we were coming off a very strong period in agriculture up until two thousand thirteen income had hit their peak. But after that, you know, we had these large crops and crises just beginning to sink, and you add to that the trade disputes that. Started last year and prices have just been languishing and some farmers can only go so long if they're not profitable trouble on the dairy front as well. That's right. So milk prices have been low, and that is driving dairy farmers out of business by the hundreds to be honest. You know, overproduction has been an issue and Americans just aren't drinking as much milk as they used to. So you add all that together. And the industry is also struggling with tariffs on cheese from Mexico and China, so they're dairy farmers are having a hard time as well. So these bankruptcies that are recurring on the farmland does this generally represent the end of that farm or is it a reset button? Like, what's happening? So it varies if you buy chapter. So if you are filing for chapter eleven bankruptcy as one of our farmers, and our story did in chapter eleven you, can you can try to continue farming and reorganize your debts chapter twelve also that is a chapter that we looked at specifically that is targeted toward family farmers or family fishermen. Again, you're trying to create a plan to repay your creditors over a certain period of years. So some of these farmers are able to continue farming. But some of them are, you know, have to exit the business. So you know, the the land is still producing. I mean, not the farmland will be purchased or rented by another farm. And so the the land book Toby productive. But in some cases, these farms are going out of business normally I think of kind of mom and pop farms when I read a story like yours in here about the bankruptcies, but use that to like, even Archer Daniels Midland is feeling pinch here. Yeah. It's true. I mean, the the the larger companies certainly aren't immune to what's happening, and and even though lower crop prices can mean that the materials that they're trading in are less expensive. You know, the trade disputes have impacted the the flow of commodities across the world. And in some cases that has you know, that's got has cut into their profit. Jesse? It's Wall Street Journal reporter Jesse Newman. It's twenty one minutes now in front of the hour on This Morning, America's first news. With all the.

Maybe you have a better thought on and give me give me your biggest conflict, and I'll see if I can deal with pay. He's up in the mountains. Yep. He's killed something. Yep. He is so distraught. He gets ill. Yeah. And he shoots three rolls of film. I don't know about three might have been three roles of how he takes video and film. Yeah. Well, he had these things with him. No. I didn't seem unreasonable to me that he would. And that he would try to document something like this. Hell you look if you saw UFO I carry my Nikon with me at all, you're missing my point. If you saw UFO end, you had your trustee Narcan with you, would you use it or not? If I could you say you weren't enough there you are. So obviously, he used it. I I don't know if I find that to be a. No. But he he kept stating. He was so upset distraught. Y'all any fell to his knees shaky? And then he he also said that there was a lot of. Hover from the trees that the well, you can see that in the pictures. Exactly. Although it was a very low light situation. Yeah. So shutter speeds were probably one second half a second. Well, if you're on automatic. I mean, you can set shutter speeds anywhere, you weren't right? But in low light, the shutter speed slowdown. Karen and the aperture opens out. So you're the field desperate. Now. What what is your point in his pictures? The depth of field is great. Okay. Well, okay. I appreciate your call. It's a typical. Now. Look, I'm not saying that read encounter was real. It could be a hoax who the hell knows. But people complain this guy was complaining because the pictures were too good. And there's no winning. I mean there really is no winning. If the pictures are fuzzy they see things, you know, this kind of always fuzzy, and he can't make out any detail. Well, here we have clear pictures and people are complaining about that. So there's no way to win. Maybe if you could come up with sort of a halfway between fuzzy and absolutely clear picture, people wouldn't have anything to say..

"Bill tired. I was pleased with his effort. Oh, please. And played twenty one minutes. I believe it was. And he's going to be an enormous to this team. So lucky to have that as he gets his rhythm and his group. He's going to be fantastic. How boogie got his groove back. That's what we're paying attention to nine to five checks, and and we're going to get to this Jordan bell thing because not you five and text related to that saying, Jordan bell. If you missed it last night Steve Kerr, Jordan Bill get into it on the bench at the start of the fourth quarter. Bill comes out in the fourth. He he takes to jump shots. Clang some both kind of lazy lackadaisical on defense Lakers, actually one that fourth quarter one and a bit of a run there. So, you know, Jordan bell and getting into it. It's gotta be bubbling over for Jordan bell, the frustration that he's not where he wants to be probably he's not where the team wants to be. He has lost his role really in the rotation. He's gotta be at this point the last year. The parents like him in Fonzie McKinney sitting back with Quinn cook like damn man or getting any run right now, especially with boogie back. So Jordan, ninety-five, Jordan bell will be. Moved to get to to get into his situation show signs of to get into this situation with Steve Kerr show signs that he is an uncomfortable player. I don't know quite about that he should watch. How Jonas Jared Cohen kevon looney learn how to fit in kevon looney. I think a different type of player they were expecting different things. They give come on any more time to develop as well. This is now been a few years of development for him whereas Jordan last year because of how he burst onto the scene. I think they expected bigger things from him. Also Repco been around for a long time he signed to be a role player, whereas Jordan bell has played his way and out of favor with the with the team and and with the rotation. So they ask Steve Kerr after the game. Jordan bell not available for comment. They ask Steve Kerr. In the media question is included here about the blow up with with Jordan Bill. Was total miss.

A great wall would however be far easier less expensive solution. He's right have been writing since two thousand and five we've already built large new section than fully renovated others making them like new the Democrats, however for strictly political reasons, he's right. And because they have been pulled so far to the left. He is correct. Do not want border security is absolutely one thousand percent on the Mark. They want open borders. For anyone to come in.
