"twenty four snaps" Discussed on The Gridiron Guide

"Decently eleven carries for thirty seven years so In about twenty touches so you can get it back. They'll get fifteen twenty touches and you know at least five targets. I'll take that forty nine hundred bucks. That's pretty much doing that. Play and as you see. There's they're giving him the ball a lot more given a a lot more snaps in tyler johnson. So that's i'm going. Michael carter for eight hundred bucks. Yeah that's a great play. Actually i didn't even think about taking them to great volume plays which is what you need in football fantasy football. He out snap tyler johnson. Forty seven twenty one last week so look to continue like that. Play a great player. I like johnson taylorsville Tennessee something two hundred bucks. He's averaging over twenty five fancy last four games last year. He only played them onto he. Kinda got locked up this year. He played you know they played week. Three i think he kinda got held in check again. You know he had a love and touches for seventy two yards but only eleven touches. You know it's a rivalry there. Tennessee verse indie division foes. I think jonathan taylor wants to go off. I think he wants to prove you know what i'm saying. That their countries not all that and he can kinda. He's a great running back to you. Know what i'm saying. Every time they play everybody just looks. Derrick henry I think john taylor who surprised me fantasy. I think he gets it done big time. This week is funny. You mentioned john. Taylor i remember in they run you me for taking them with the seven pig but again you know what i'm saying. I'm surprised was doug. I am surprised about quarter. O- patterson sixty two hundred only sixty two hundred dollars for for running back Who plays receiver and running back. And he's I'm pretty sure he's running back to pretty much have on. The atlanta team might bay was doing anything last week being at one point or or minus or point. Eight points or something like that so you give me quarter. O- patterson two hundred bucks against carolina's defense. Carolina has one. We'd better defense. Nfl but again. This is the volume play. He had twenty Twenty touches last week. So you give me a running back a twenty touches For fifteen hundred bucks. I have to play that play Especially since he's out playing the guy who's supposedly ahead of him And it wasn't a game for last week they atlanta was up to so I was talking to to went down a little bit. Because you see Really back in the you see gauge had a pretty good game and then obviously a cow. the game but i still believe oro patterson to be involved in offense so since two hundred bucks for starting running back i'll take it and he did his research. This week had another play. That i like a lot. Didn't put him on my list. But a couple of quarter season has seventy three percents snap rate last year twenty four snaps either out wider in the slot and he also that sixteen of the twenty one running back touches so definitely trending for you know. Mike davis was benchwarmer karol patterson's guide atlanta looking like won't have to even see another game or two to confirm a little captain. Joe joe mixing versus the new york jets six hundred bucks less three weeks. The jets allow new. England's the go off mike davidson quarter patterson both to do good and derrick. Henry went off. They've lost ten rushing touchdowns in six games this year last week. Joe mixon had a much better game..

"twenty four snaps" Discussed on Niners Nation

"In this game after all what we just said here i i still think the niners can beat this team Let's get into our usual segment here. We're going to try to keep this pod short for host. Our boss rob here. He said no more ninety minutes. So let's get to this thirty five forty five minutes By walk-off release lille buddy. Yeah so i'm i. I know the first time we did this. We said like by was the three year cycle. You wanted to keep a player. Lease was just your binding for the one year walking off obviously major walking off but now since we're in week two of the season I want to change the curve. A little bit buying means to expect the dude to be a top tier contributor of the team Or you're buying into a certain rumor that you do think it's possibly true by this kyle. And now you've doghouse or Leasing means you're just tabling that discussion. You're you're you're you're not ready to buy. You're not ready to walk off the lot so you're leasing it instead. You're you're in the middle. You're not in the marriage. You're just you're just dating And then walk off. Does anita explanation at this point though. Let let's talk about the past block efficiency for the forty niners. Do you think this is something that they can maintain all year considering last year. It was awful. This year looks looks like a completely different story. A lot of. That's contributed to alex mack of that's contributed to mike mcglinchey. Plan a lot better. I don't think briscoe had a good game against the eagles Some say rewatching the film the all twenty two that it does look better than than watching it live Were it do you think they can maintain atop seed a top tier. I'm going to say top. Three a pass block efficiency for the entire season. I'm not buying that. They will maintain that level. Because i i hate the past block when rates stat itself. It's it's measured at two point. Five seconds that's how they measure it. Two point five seconds so that that means every pass play is measured on the same scale so that status kind of. It's really hard to gauge. What i will buy though. Is alex mack. And mike mcglinchey being alex mack being very very important part of this often divine in their pass protection and mcglinchey gaining whatever was thirty forty pounds. He looks much better in pass protection. I think he's allowed to pressures in two games zero sacks this often divine is going to be a top ten unit. I don't know about five. So yeah i mean i guess i'm buying what they're selling on this one by just by come on just by an will will take care of the the tags for this year The worry about that. We'll we'll pay the registration just just just by please. Yeah i'm buying. I'll buy a mind perfect. Let's let's talk about the wide receiver not random. You deebo samuel no forty niners. Wide receiver has had a thousand yard. Season cents anquan boldin and feels like anquan. Boldin has been out of league for about three years now when he did get out of league he wasn't for the forty niners so he's been out of the league for some time and he's been away from forty niners for some time. Do you buy that deibel. Samuels going to be the first wide receiver since anquan boldin to reach that thousand yard mark absolutely without question. He's ready to eighty three currently to eighty two to eighty two with one touch down to eighty two and two games. You know he's on pace you know. He's on pace for what twelve thirteen fourteen hundred yards. So yeah he's definitely one thousand yards He was nearly a thousand receivers rookie year and he missed like two games. So yes. I am absolutely bindi. Samuel is a thousand receiver this year. Yeah i'm going to buy that as well. It's just when you get off to a star and essentially have three hundred receiving yards in your first. Two games were talk. There's an extra game this year as well. I were were not mentioning into it so yet. But i will say base off the start brian or adiba samuels and be the first forty niners wide receiver to reach a thousand yards in sixteen games span So i think he doesn't even need game seventeen to reach that thousand yard mark elisha mitchell. He looked good against the detroit. Lions early struggled against the eagles had a little folder issue in that game as well so on the season he does have a hundred forty six yards on thirty six carries yet. The yards per attempt is at a four point one clip. Are you buying that. The forty niners could have success on the ground game. If elijah mitchell is they're belco. I am not buying it. I'm leasing this is probably gonna be adding another running back or their. This is who they are right. This is kyle shanahan the shanahan tree outside of mcveigh in in Leflore who've had steady running back play with girly in aaron jones and henderson and things like that. But then kyle is you know. He's he's running through ru- running backs change his underwear. You know everyone's getting hurt or guys are going to be He plays the hot hand. And that's fine. You know great can have success with allies mitchell. Yes will he be the bell cow absolutely not because you saw him kind of get worn down against the eagles. That was a tough game for anybody especially in the run game. What you know. He's he has thirty six carries for one hundred forty six yards. You can see the teams are going to sell out to stop the run right in. This is a direct direct correlation with the quarterback. Play like they're like okay. You want to run the ball. We know that run the ball thirty eight times like they did against against eagles on sunday. Teams are going to try to stack that. And they're trying to stop that and the niners are going to need to obviously not gave all thirty eight snaps to elijah or hasty or sermon. They're going to rotate these guys out so They can be successful. I don't know how successful they will be. But i'm not buying mitchell as the belco. I would lease him this year as the guy who probably gives you for five games that are really really good and then the other ones are just productive or just you know sure handed running back game you know. He had seventeen attempts for forty two yards. We give you seventeen without a fumble. And he's giving you some hard yards. You can live with that old prediction here. I think carry-on johnson will be the next towel shanahan running back to reach a hundred yards in a single game. I think era kerryon. Johnson will be the next guy to do that and i want to be shark. Kerryon johnson got an opportunity against the green bay packers. And we've seen the forty niners ground game has done to the green bay packers over recent years. I just think carry-on johnson's a talented player. A win healthy and right now the soundlink. He is the healthy. Now by lease or walk off brandon. Are you key is going to become a contributor to this offense. And he's not going to be in cows and aunts doghouse for so long last. Did out snap. Trench sherefield last game against the eagles. Sherefield had twenty four snaps and brandon. Iu cat thirty eight so brandon. How you caveat. Fourteen yet seems like his target's share is nowhere near that it will be. Are you buying or selling that. That target shares in change. And he's not gonna continue to get the lack of production that he has been so far..

"A lot of what. The dolphins wanted at a required davis. You played roughly fifty percent of snaps in the same thing. Was sam wadded. So josh i kinda wanna ask. Do we see this script changing week. Two when you're facing josh. Allen are you willing to want the the bigger guys like john jenkins and adam butlers in there or you're gonna try to make it work with the zach sealer christian wilkins inaugura arbitrio with those guys. I think are a little better than getting to the quarterback. Compared to those guys i stopping the run so when the dolphin start looking at ahead to this game at buffalo gonna have our full preview on friday. But i'm curious what you think. Josh is one of those scenarios where you wanna make out broke. Do you want to just get to him and do what you can. Hopefully bring him down. I didn't get to watch all that pittsburgh game. I actually had the eight boxes up whatever channel. That wasn't directtv so i was focused on that game. But you almost got to do what they did. I mean i think. They attacked josh allen. Pretty frequently and i think the biggest thing and you know what scares me most about him. Yes he has. This rocket launch army can throw it one hundred yards now field. But he's got those legs. Jake mean could ej. Manuel get gino smith. That lewis. I mean you can say her name off a mobile quarterback in the afc. That's absolutely dismantled. The miami dolphins so i hate that i always bring up jalen phillips but i mean we saw him get. What like twenty four snaps last week. I think you know you bring him in you. Let him kind of spy josh down. Maybe try to apply that pressure on the outside. I don't. i don't know how you prepare for josh. Because you i know law dolphin fans don't wanna hear this but this is a top three quarterback right now in the nfl and you know the key to this game is absolutely getting in his head. In rallying early and often dion jordan was the gronk stopper. That was kind of the memo on twitter. Wasn't meet every legitimately believed that. Do you remember when he broke up. Do you remember when he broke up. A pass from calvin johnson. Because i had that jif. And i just replayed it over and over because i thought it meant something. It meant nothing. But can you see jalen philip. Say to that. That's kind of where. I'm trying to go with the jalen belts kinda being that josh allen stopper because what would the steelers did so successful. Last week was just pressuring him right. I mean you look back at started with cam hayward who had ten pressures on josh allen and they had four excuse me nineteen total as a team which is also at the dolphin set against the patriots and i want to say that the patriots offensive line is much better and i also we need to add in because nobody wants to talk about this. That all of mack jones pass attempts. It seems to me like every single one of them was set or at least most of them. I can't say everyone because that's a little Statistically inaccurate no matter what but it seemed a lot of the time you restoring the ball before the snap was even delivered to him Something that also today. Josh was andrew ben ginkgo. He played fourteen. Pass rushing snaps. So you rush the passer fourteen times and had a team high four pressures. He ended up playing josh indra vehicle with fifty three snacks. So he's only blitzing on fourteen of those that can't be in miami's gambling to have andrew bangle covering line or covering running backs covering ends game. Right i mean that had been something that bella check schemed up and the dolphins had to kind of work through using van gingko covering a little more than he was as a pass rusher. I'm glad you brought that up. Because i mean that was def definitely sticks out. And you're right. I mean if they wanna have success. You know getting to the quarterback you need at andrew Rush the passer do those things. He's good at. I mean i don't know why. The dolphins played a lot of zone there in that game against new england but Engineer gave up that touchdown the nelson adler looked a little bit lost. I mean i don't fall for that because it is zone. But you need to get andrew banking after the quarterback I think a lot of it was the way this game was game plan and i think again. It's gonna be completely different this week. But i think the dolphins kind of knew they were going to come out here and try to run the ball. Use those heavy. Set and make mac jones. Go out there and you just execute and i hate that. It's been a huge mack jones talking about lower thing but you know lost and all that to a time a little plate. Well i you know. He made some mistakes but mack jones. I mean you have to tip your hat to him. Yes it was all underneath but i mean it like you said it looked like he knew what the defense was throwing at him and exactly where you had to go with the football no matter what looks were thrown at him so again. I think he's going to be a thorn in the side. But i think if the dolphins wanna get pressure they gotta do it in jake. I know sam guava atlanta roberts. They split reps together but tend to me. It just seems like a land. Roberts is on another level on those. You know just looks so decisive. And he knows what's going on in front of him. I'd like to see him. Get some more snaps. Because i think you know he could help. I mean we saw him in san joaquin. We saw what they can do. Those stunts and things in the preseason. I think they can help. Immensely against josh allen Offense exactly just need one of those guys. Get one of those big hits and i think that would do wonders for what you're trying to against josh adam. The bills and another thing. I think that's gonna be different in terms of day plan. Is i think the patriots are a team that will play to. Its opponent's weaknesses. Think the bills are going to be out here trying to play to their own strengths. I don't really have any statistics. Debase aside but i just kind of see that so the game plan is going to go. I think the You know the bills are gonna come in and try to do what they always to the johnsons aired out. Find those weaknesses. Lead josh allen enough time so it really does berry back down to you. Get to. The quarterback is stopped him. And you kind of clean up the game from there josh. The dolphins has certainly struggled against the bills for some time. Now it certainly seems like But like i said before. We're going to give our full preview. This weekend's game on friday so we're going to take a little break here on the other side. We're gonna talk to john holland michael party and will stay to today. We're talking about price picks. Which is the hot new thing in the world of daily fantasy and to be honest. It's not hard to see why people are getting all the way into this. Here's how it works. You pick anywhere between two and five players and take the over or the under on some specific stat projections for the day. That's it it's just you against their projected numbers. Get it right and you could win up to ten times what you put down on any entry. And here's the best part. Price picks has a ton of statistical categories to choose from including yards receptions.

"And the newcomers had a lot of snaps and this is on cincy. Jungle dot com. Share this with you here. Okay by patrick. Judas this is the week one snapped and you see the headline bengals newcomers dominate the snaps in week one verses the vikings So here are some of the tidbits. Here i will put. I'm not gonna go through every single one of these will go through some Here are here's the link in the live chat for you all but the bengals were out snapped by the vikings eighty three to sixty nine. So that's kind of interesting there. The defense was on the field quite a bit. I think there was. Also you know some scenarios in which minnesota had some extended drives and things of that nature to kinda 'cause at and of course five full quarters of play will cause that He had jomar chase had a sixty two. Snaps at receiver and higgins and boy. Only at fifty one higgins left the game with some cramps. so that would explain that But you know at march as had the most snaps on the field of the wide receiver. Group was interesting to kind of see a little. Bit of a quite from tyler. Boyd expected a little bit more from him. He did have a couple of nice catches but expected more from him. Darius hajj only at one snap so that was kind of telling a little bit as to where they think he is at from a rotational basis. Plus the bengals were able to get a lot of great pressure from the interior Larry ogan jobe and bj hill were outstanding on sunday combining for three total sacks on the inside so they didn't really have a lot of us for hajj they had a lot of snaps with trey hendrickson and You know they. They moved around guys a lot. And then of course you see here. Here's my next point. Sixty eight snapped trey hendrickson. It's seventy two from sam hubbard so those two dominated the snap counts and you can see why there was only one snap on defense. For darius hodge cam sample was on the field on a rotational basis. Twenty nine snaps. So they'd really open jobe fifty nine snaps. Bj hill only twenty four snaps in had to to saxon an additional for loss. I believe so great. Great job by larry oregon jobe. Bj hill in dj reader was one of the higher rated pf players by the bengals as well so I'm taking on the field very much. Just eight snaps. logan wilson. It's seventy two snaps but it was drained pratt He had i believe eight or nine tackles. He had the forced fumble recovery the end of the game. They're tackle for loss. He had a pretty good game. Statistically had the big play at the end there so kind of an interesting day overall from the linebacker group. I mentioned the high pass. Defense grade by davis. Gather he only had sixteen snaps on defense. Ricardo allen also had a pretty good. pf score. as well. I had kind of assumed that the bengals we're going to run a lot of three safety sets in use ricardo allen out. There are quite a bit which they did on bell was out there. Jessie bates was out. There card allow was out there and they were doing all kinds of different things on defense there so that that kind of is a snapshot of the snap count and hopefully you can follow that link that i put in the live chat there to see all of how everything played out right there. Some good news and bad news here in terms of the injury front on what's going on with the cincinnati. Bengals is scary. Moment in the game. After joe borough took a sack at came up limp living a bit on one of his legs and he is apparently fine and he was was limping off the field after a drive but he is apparently fought fine. He had his knee worked on a bit earlier this week that he is good to go by all reports in this is essentially jungle dot com as well but trains is out another week in that is not good news because Ally apple was one of the defensive players as we kind of expected who had struggled a bit on on sunday unfortunately we knew he was going to We knew he was going to have some issues there. In relief of trains we knew ayla even with trae wings in we knew that the trio of offensive weapons from the minnesota vikings. We're gonna be hard to corral. We knew that and so that they can prove to be the case Ally apple had a couple of of issues on defense but overall i thought the secondary played pretty well but regardless Tradewinds is going to be out against chicago kind of figured. That may be the case. It may be about two or three games. At least we hope that that is the worst case. Scenario by zac. Taylor confirmed that this week. The joe bureau is okay from that injury that he came up Limping a bit on On sunday and then. Of course trade wayne's out so not good news on the injury front on the defensive side of the ball but some good news for joe borough and company keeping it rolling here this. Jessie bates contract situation was not resolved before the regular season started which is usually when the bengals like to take care of these kinds of things and they did not they simply did not get it. Get it done Jesse bates wants to be paid like a top safety as he should. The bengals do want to keep him. I believe but. I'm of the opinion that they just don't like to pay that. Type of money specially guaranteed money to.

bengals trey hendrickson jomar chase vikings higgins Darius hajj Larry ogan jobe bj hill sam hubbard darius hodge larry oregon jobe logan wilson Jessie bates Ricardo allen Judas ricardo allen joe borough jobe patrick Boyd

"twenty four snaps" Discussed on Behind the Steel Curtain

"So if you look at left tackle. Dan moore had the best score by a lot. Then it was joe hague and then it was to court for. So that's that's what we're looking at their if you look at right tackle. You've got zack. Banners twelve snaps where he scored a seventy three point. One that's all right. Then you've got more and hague in there again. Now dan moore. Junior did not do as well at right. Tackle his his score the first game. We played or attack with forty seven snaps with sixty one point two and then against carolina only twenty two snaps a thirty eight point. Oh it was. It was not good. He really struggled that game. But if you do the weighted average it comes out to a fifty three point. Eight fifty three point eight was what he is a right tackle. johannesburg when you do his weighted scores of eighty two point zero and a seventy four point six Yeah that's that's right. He was way better at right. Tackle and his weighted score was seventy seven point eight which is funny that his weighted average was actually the exact same as dan. Moore's was at left tackle so you could see that which that if those two players will be playing it would be. It would be obvious where to put. Which one of them not to throw it in there. Like i said i wanted to also mention core four and his score from last year at right tackle it was still only fifty seven point five on one thousand thirty three snaps so that is what it is and but i'm just putting the number out there so if you're looking at that your top right. Tackle score actually. Goes joe hague. Then zach banner then chew chor four and then dan moore is how it really all plays out so this is starting to get a little bit interesting so far. We're looking at it with you. Know f f wise. We'd be looking more at a dan moore junior at left tackle and a johannesburg at right tackle. I'm gonna tell you this though. This doesn't take into account you know the quality of the opponent Weaken and week out. Also which string play. You get the first string second-string third string you know the quality of the player crossing them of what they're having to do. So those are other factors that we just. They're just there. We had to identify that. They are a factor although we can't really compensate for them. Let's move to guard this one left guard. Would that's pretty simple because the way it worked there. Actually i just realized something that. I'm still the that i did. Bj finney and rashad coward at right guard. But i actually kind of dismissed this up a little bit and i. I didn't mess it up. I'm sorry i realized why did mess it up. I'm like why. Don't i have a weighted average for them right now. I just look back at. Oh come on static. You're better than this. And that's because they only played in there one game for example. Well let's start with the top. Let's start with kevin dotson and his one hundred and twenty snaps at left guard played left guard in three games. Ninety one point nine. That's his great okay. We don't need to go on about that. We pretty much that. That's that's kevin and always stops for at left guard. Bj finney played twenty four snaps. They were all in the hall of fame game. He played left guard then he played right guard. The other three games okay so. Bj finney at left guard a score. Seventy one nine and then rashad coward. He played left guard only in week. One against the eagles and the other three he played right guard. I mean played fifteen snaps at left guard and he had a score of fifty nine point four so obviously without one. Kevin datsuns the guy. We don't even need to talk about that anymore and believe it or not Especially because rashaad coward. He actually scored better at right guard anyway but were. Let's go under guard know left guard. That's that's that's kevin dotson. I tried to make. It seem like it might not be. They wanted to motivate him. Kevin datsuns the guy there and of story. Right guard trae turner. He played forty five snaps. All at right guard fifty. Five point one score. That's what he had. Bj finney played their eighty four snaps in three games. He had scores of seventy nine point. Nine fifty nine point seven and fifty five point two for a weighted average of seventy point one and then you have rishaad coward who had scores of sixty six point. Eight sixty two point six seventy five point one and he had a weighted score of sixty seven point one. So i'm going to say this. And then i'm going to say something else about it if you look at the players and based on their scores your top right guard was bj. Finney at seventy point one then it was rashad coward at sixty seven point one and then it was trade turner at fifty five point one. Here's the thing. I still think turner's the guy he just you know needed more practice. Time more acclamation. But he's got to get it done the regular season if he struggles. I think the steelers need to have these other options. Now even though. Bj finney has the higher weighted average. I'm actually going to give the advantage coward at right guard and your product. Dave dave white. Why are you doing that okay. Finney went seventy nine fifty nine point seven and fifty five point two. His scores at right guard were trending in the wrong direction when coward went sixty six eight sixty two six a little bit lower but but close and then seventy five one. He was trending in the right direction. So to me rashad coward was he has an ascending sixty seven point one while. Bj finney had a descending. Seventy point one. I hope that makes sense. So those are the numbers. But i just wanted to give them to you Then request to go to center. Because i have some other numbers. What over with you as well with everybody as a whole kendrick green. He had one hundred twenty eight snaps and he had a score of sixty sixty seven point three and my reading the correct or did i get these guys backwards now. I had the scores right now. Backwards it was. Jason hassen our head. Sixty seven point three. I wasn't quite quite right and kendrick green with his snaps because it was one hundred twenty eight snaps and kindred green with his hundred and eight snaps. He had a sixty two point eight so just to make sure we have that right. It was jaycee. Has our hundred thousand.

Bj finney joe hague dan moore rashad coward kevin dotson Kevin datsuns zach banner johannesburg Dan moore zack rashaad coward trae turner Moore carolina dan Finney turner Dave dave white eagles kevin

"twenty four snaps" Discussed on Around the NFL

"It's in their mind or not i mean that's that's up to them but i got two guys who can play and while we've been doing in practice a little bit wanted to do out there in the game and i think it's always going to be an option. He is referring. Of course to the preseason finale where lance and jimmy garoppolo traded reps over the first twenty four snaps the game. This murky gets greg. How do you diagnose what's happening in san francisco right now. I think kyle is having some fun in that third. Preseason games you know thinking about week one in the detroit lions thinking about oh that just like hey get ready because not only were they rotating but they were. They were showing some things. They were doing these. Qb power traps like they were showing what you can do with trae lance as your quarterback in terms of the read option. He was mostly handy off. You wonder if he was almost told like handed off like let's not get too crazy here in the preseason but the crazy part was they replaced them twice on the goal. Line with jimmy garoppolo which is like the opposite of what you would expect to happen one of those times. Jimmy runs it in one of those times. They didn't score with jimmy in there then they bring lands back in does run it in and i really think based on jimmy garoppolo deportment last week leading into that game. And what kyle. Santana anna said that jimmy garoppolo will be starting week one. And that we that trae lance will be playing week one. And i do think that's gonna be the the early plan and they're just gonna see how it goes. Not just having fun with dan. Campbell in arrogant landon in the line staff and having fun with us as well right we ran the sound last night after the game of cal shanahan seemingly saying right cal shan. Who famously was upset. Right at sean. Mcvay for not laminating. The play sheet on a rainy day. Right sean cal shanahan who has meticulously planned. Everything says last night at the podium. Hey i was just playing it by ear. Jimmy go in a tray going. He's that he's just making this decision on a whim Just to kind of feel it out. It's a calcium has gonna do what he wants but he's also going to have fun with those eat. The whole this whole entire offseason maintained. It doesn't behoove them to say who the starting quarterback is going to be. And i think ultimately what he truly showed us yesterday. That doesn't matter he's gonna call my is he's going to get guys open and they're gonna score points. No matter what. I do want to point out that i think lance's preseason in that game specifically supported this idea that lance needs a little more cooking little more practice time. He's made a lot of mistakes. Does seem to run. After the i read is taken away. He's also made a ridiculous amount of amazing plays and seems like an awesome running. So if there was any thought of like. Hey let's go into it with jimmy but us trae. I think the the preseason lances had sort of has supported that that's like okay. We don't need to play him week one. He's probably gonna start eventually the season but it doesn't have to be right now. Then the football gods laugh at any plans that are made because as we know. Jimmy garoppolo heard all the time. So even kyle shanahan has this grand vision using both guys and just turning the offense into a nightmare for defensive coordinators. We'll see if both guys are healthy and able to do such a plan but very interesting and we'll continue to track that perhaps.

"Back in her goes in motion. It's gonna be trae land so we go into the end zone tax frame since go. It's nick kostis and ken barclay on you. Better you bet from beck l. J. pix on the highlight odd. The color guy. There is a guy named tim. Ryan the guy who i used to work with the sirius. Xm is one of the best guys in the world. Love my guy seriously. Tea rocks went on the all time. Best people i think. That's bill king. Is the voice there. I could be wrong about that. Eli look this up for me. That is the old raiders. Play by play guy touchdown. San francisco does not quite have the same ring to it. As touchdown her. I just boost from one of the next man so anyway the forty niners game result not really was good to hear that. I missed my. It rock and san francisco. Here's what's notable and whereabouts. Hit you with everything you need to know from week. Three in the preseason some of the most important things. We'll more about it on the show coming up tomorrow as well. But i wanted to at least four big notes from the nfl. Preseason this past weekend with the preseason being done the next time we see. Nfl game action will be next thursday september ninth season opener. Buccaneers against the dallas cowboys. Which is really exciting. So four big notes here. Ken from the nfl. Prison for preseason for us to dive into the next two segments and for san francisco. The notable thing this weekend kyle shanahan over the course of twenty four snaps early in the game. Deploying both jimmy garoppolo and trae lance so like an old school like college. Football style quarterback rotation with jimmy g. Playing fourteen of the twenty four snaps and trae lance playing ten. So again in case you missed it. This was not a situation where played three series. Then trae lance came in for two series. This would be garoppolo on the field for two plays trae lanson for two plays garoppolo comes back on for a couple of place and it was. It was pretty spellbinding and extremely effective garoppolo. I thought looked great. Throwing the football. It's preseason so it doesn't mean it's a harbinger of things to come that he's going to be great in the regular season but he looks good throwing the football. Just the mere presence of trae lance out there creates more rushing lanes for a he. Moster trink sermon also looked good. Moster played a lot with the first team. Offense then sermon came afterwards. So i don't know if this means that we're gonna see shanahan. Played both these quarterbacks here. But i think that have garoppolos name. The week one starter..

"Yeah that i remember using that And also you know just the disposable ones that is a concept do disposable cameras are like extinct now. people still use them at weddings. Don't they are now. Maybe i don't know but yeah. It seems like now that everybody has a camera in their phone. You probably wouldn't see that. I can't believe i have to say this. But there's probably people listening who don't know what yeah can't disposable. They were like little cardboard and plastic cameras. That you could take like twenty four shots with a little like plastic wheel that would advance take rain. And then you would take it to Like a walgreens or whatever yeah or a walmart or any place that had like a photo center and you'd give them the whole camera you give him the fucking camera and they would print out the pictures like a few days later and give them to you. There was no way to know what they looked like. Yeah and so you would just kind of hand this box to somebody and then see if anything you took came out. I met ben folds on my sixteenth birthday. The first concert ever went to my friend took a picture of us with a disposable camera and then like a month later. they're like. Here's the picture and it was so awful center. Larry bad and i was like fuck i should. I should've had you take multiple pictures. But there's only twenty four snaps on this mom batboy throw it away so wasteful but we did have those any any vacation. We went on our church camp. We would have like a disposable cameras because those things were cheap. You know and like a scary thing if you damaged it in some way yeah There were also the sort of form factor you've just described like this long rectangle was a common thing for like lower end cameras. We had one in our family that was teenage mutant ninja turtles theme. Any picture. you took on it. You would take the film out and get it developed at a photo center and then it would have a tiny little superimposed image of michelangelo in the corner specifically michaelangelo. I don't know if there were other like turtle cameras michelangelo model which is not even. He's ninety my favorite. Oh really donatello like the. I guess you're kind of intellectual. I mean i also like to party. There is these days. I feel like there are like digital cameras for children. Henry hands one you can buy very cheap cheap cheap digital cameras yeah. They're covered in thick plastics. Out of an airplane. Window usually have less buttons pretty straightforward. How you take a picture but they also can do some fun stuff We were playing around. Charlie who got a little digital camera that can do like green screen stuff That has like kind of advanced in very interesting. And there's something so delightful to me about a kid with a camera because it's it's so empowering because even if you don't have like a an artistic bone in your body and you cannot draw. I have never been a good artist like at all. I do not have the ability to to draw things. I just never really learned how but you can take a picture and obviously there is a an incalculable. A skill ceiling of art taking pictures. Also but you can you know without knowing how to pick up a pin and draw certain shapes or whatever you can take you can hold up a camera in press a button and then have this piece of art essentially. Yeah well it's also i mean. This is like a larger art history conversation. But it's also interesting just to see what a kid would want to take a picture of exactly. Yeah no it is a a a a picture is like a representation of what that person was seeing at the time that they took the picture and so that gets so interesting for kids. Because it's like yeah. Maybe you're not following the rule of thirds or whatever but like henry has grab my phone and taking some pictures on it that are like. Oh that's kind of cool. That's like what you were looking at and we wanted to frame this and how you sort of captured this moment in time. That's so neat and it also kind of away to learn. I don't know it to kind of learn. What photos or four. Because i will say as a kid if i went to the zoo for example i would take a lotta pictures of the animals or like in my trip to washington d. c. When i was in eighth grade i took a lot of pictures of like monuments but it was like the pictures of my friends that i actually wanted to return to. That is really interesting thing that differs from person to person. I will never forget we went to. I think we were at some amusement park in hong kong and there were a ton of tourists there who are taking pictures of like every single. Stop it like this aquarium thing that we walked through and everything and i remember thinking like that is a. It's such an interesting thing that thing that people think like This is the thing. I'm gonna wanna look at later or this. Is the thing that i'm going to win a post online. So that people know that i saw a jellyfish Yeah which is not inherently like a culture to culture thing. It's like you know our our parents take pictures differently than we take pictures. Just like our children take pictures differently from us so cool The main reason. I wanna talk about this. I've been getting into Gameboy collection modification stuff again. And i dug out my old game. Boy camera have ever showed that to you. Oh it's a gameboy. Game is a cartridge. That goes into the the gameboy and then it has this little bulb on top that you can actually swivel one hundred and eighty degrees so you can do selfie mode if you if you want to and then you can take these one hundred twenty eight one hundred twenty eight pixel gray scale images with it. You can take what you can snap thirty of them and save them to to the cartridge and then you can. There's like on the game itself. You can like add silly stickers or a little doodle onto the images or like superimpose words onto. You could also take a picture of your face and then put it on like an old game and watch game so that like you're sprinting on like a racetrack or like doing a side scrolling space shooter but your head is all the this nine hundred ninety eight so it's kind of like incredible. I think we had this before we had like a digital camera. At my house yeah And where it got really wild. I still have my game boy camera which is like a collector's item. Now because you can't just reproduce you can't emulate that he's got a fricken camera on top of what is really hard to find an. I don't have anymore. There was a printer. So you could prey on your pictures in these like postage-stamp sized thermal paper stickers so you can make your own sticker so i had like a for like a couple years like all of my binders and folders. Pencil cases were covered in these homemade stickers. I made but the game boy camera and it was such a thing because again like i always had a creative streak but for like visual arts like i had no venue for that. I have no way to get that. Get that out. And here comes. The gameboy camera clever. Yeah that's what was so exciting about the polaroid camera We never had one in our house but it was so cool. This idea that you could take a picture and immediately see i. I've always thought it was a very cool thing..

"He'll basically be the strong side linebacker in this game. You know strong strong side. Linebackers play sixteen to twenty four snaps game depending on what. You're what you're looking at. The team runs a lot. You're you're gonna be out there more. But but how many teams run a lot in the nfl. Now enlightened vander asia's still better in coverage than jalen I think you're gonna see packages for jalen smith to rush the passer on the edge But when you're talking about Coverage being significant Jalen smith really out of the five linebackers on the roster would be five out of the five because jibril cox is also the other fourth round pick out of lsu is very good in coverage and you're paying janus with an awful lot of money to be Sixteen twenty snap guy so. That's a loss for the cowboys So evan. Let's shift over to The raiders this year and what we think that they have done and in the best is about the rangers to me is that the season is two-thirds the way dot. That's that's the best news to me about. This ranger sees boy. Do i have good news for you. What's that it's more like seventy percent done. Oh my masters mad all right good too. Nice no i. I think that most of i think for most fans most disappointing thing about the the rebuild is it that it's been hard for them to see real visible building blocks for the future on the current roster and the bottom line is there may not be any If you go back to two thousand twelve the cubs They were one of the last teams to lose a hundred and then come back within a five year period and win a world series and the number of guys it played on the two thousand twelve clubs and then on the two thousand sixteen world series champs were to kris bryant and a reliever and that's it so maybe is nobody here that will help. But i do think that if if you're looking at the pieces that you've got in the projects that you had going into the year you have to be pretty encouraged by what you've seen from dane dunning and a couple of the other young pitchers and if you get two or three pitchers out of this you can count on long-term then you're gonna have. This will have had at least some net value on the field I think kevin when we talked about this year concern was the when i brought up. Dane dunning Taylor hearn and Joe barlow which would be the three guys to me that stand out. Most your concern was there's only one starter there as correct an estimate. The hardest thing to identify team is a is a rotation And and and that's the issue for me going forward is is that in this entire c. You know going into the season we felt pretty good about deigned. Dunning chances of mean. I thought you know he. He looked good goodland his trial with the white sox and and i thought that he had an opportunity and i think he's done that and they've been very careful with him. Not stretch him out They're doing all the right things with him. At this point. I would've liked to have seen them. Identify one more starter this year. A guy that you you thought you could really count on going forward. And and unless they shift taylor hearn to the starting rotation which seems a little bit of a stretch to me at this point. I just don't see that we'll as we talk here. You know this is. Taylor is gonna make the start tonight on tuesday for the rangers against seattle and the big questions that that i need to see answered from him going forward are does he have a third pitch to get through a lineup. A third time and he really hasn't had to do that He's never faced a hitter a third time in a game. So that's a big deal to see that happen over the next couple of of weeks Secondly he's never thrown more than sixty five pitches in a big league game so and and quite frankly he's only thrown more than fifty three times and those are all happened in the last two weeks. So there's there's a lot of buildup that still a happen. Here with taylor her But but what i do think is. We've seen some positive results over longer. Stints over two and three and four inning outings And as if the rangers continue to be careful with them And build them up seventy five ninety pitches and reinforce you know that there's gotta be they've gotta find a third pitch in there because he's basically a to pitch pitcher in that's not gonna work at the big league level. He's gonna have to use his change up a little bit more and he's going to have to be able to Use the slider a little bit more when he needs to so. Those are the things. I'm looking for from taylor her But you've also got spencer howard or you're gonna look at here these next five weeks and i don't know if they're gonna try and build up spencer howard to five or six innings but i do think that they will stretch him out more than they. How and you're gonna have john king come back from the injured list here in the next two to three days and i think he's gonna get a chance to to to pitch some Longer outings and before september i it would not surprise me if they call up glen auto the pitcher that they acquired from the yankees in the imagery gala trade. So you will have a timber full of of starting rotation auditions. Will that tell you anything long term. I'm not sure with the exception of done. I'm not sure that it will that. There will be a whole lot of long term value in it yet done. It just seems to me the guy that that that looks like he knows what he's doing He just looks like here's a guy who's getting out and he's not blown anybody away just he just knows how to pitch And and i think that That impresses me about him And it seems to be the issue with a lot of these guys. I just feel like taylor. Hearn is kinda guy if you're looking at as a star. That's two or three years down the road. I i just feel like he'll have to come out of the bullpen for a while before he develops into that potential Just just seems to be That should be the ralph for you and if you've gotta go some unconventional methods and get in pick piggyback guys next year. Maybe you do that. But i think right now to at least look at taylor earn and try and get a baseline on what he would do as a starter. I think now is about the right time. Oh absolutely no question about that time. We find stuff out. You know. I was thinking about that. You know with the The rangers this year seemed to have a real success story and adults garcia who is kind of rallying a little bit lately says showing a little more pop But still kind of struggling a little little kind of he's kind of been almost a freefall at this point You know what do you think about a dollar future. Do you think that he's going to be the starting center fielder next year I think he's gonna be in the outfield next year. Basically because they they probably don't have any other Really attractive options. I think in september you will see leoni taveras come back up here and get another opportunity. But i don't know if If that's if he's the answer i think already his hit the ball better here at aaa over the last couple months On dooley's i think anything you get at this point in time term is just kind of found money on. Yeah no question about that and listen he can play at the big league level. He can do some damage at the big league level. I think the swing and miss is always going to be a significant flaw. But he can he can defend. You can run. He's got some power At the very least peace somewhere in a lineup is it. A fourth outfielder maybe And maybe that has more value to the rangers long-term to to peel off at some point in time because by the time they get to a point where they're gonna content. He might not have as much use for them. But i think.

"Brian anthony davis. We just talked about expectations. I wanna get your thoughts on some training camp battles and i have an article to running on wednesday. I think it's ads nine o'clock in the morning and i basically went through all the training camp battles that we had going on prior to camp. Starting wanna see where you think. It is as of right now so you already penis. Yes no bugging dried. You haven't been ready for anything. It's not expectation. One more expectation and that go for brian to actually watch the game. So we can discuss. That will be every single snap. Let's get let's get to this day. No of deontay. Johnson played them. Okay let's go with the center position so we're talking about the battle that was between half an hour finney and green. We all know. Dave brought it up at the press conference. Everyone was like tomlin. Say that he shouldn't. You shouldn't read too much into green getting to starts to start. The preseason doesn't matter and we're back leaves adamant one game after one game. How do you see shaking out at the center position. Brian will start with you. I graded the other day. Mr kendrick green or i'm sorry quadrant green day. I apologize Mr green number fifty three i. It looks like they are grooming him to be the starter and the way he played in the game. He got a lot of push in the hall of fame game. It seems like he's winning that battle already. But we haven't seen that much of anybody else. I think it's almost like the I'm sure we're going to talk about the other battle. The big battle the jeff's concern about but it's almost. I'm not going to bring those players up. But i am going to bring up kendrick renowned and say if he could continue to be consistent and get the kind of play that we got from him in the hall of fame game then. The job is probably his if he if he reverts back to looking like a rookie. 'cause he i thought he looked. I thought he looked pretty good the other day. I know there was a there was some problems with snaps in practice but there was not a problem with a snap from him mason. It was a bubble between mason and chase klay poll so i was not as concerned about that so if he plays clean that battles his i think right now. He's got to be the front runner daily thing. I was surprised at something from this past game. Do you know the kendra. Green played the least amount of snaps on the offensive line of any player. I kind of blew my mind. I need because i read the article. Did the arctic want it that that surprised me. That has our played forty one and green played eighteen. Where with every so they brought hashing our and to play. What one series with the guys that were running his ones in that game before they didn't switched the four guys which i thought was kind of interesting but i still kind feel like it's greens job to i. Don't wanna say lose. I'm going to say to not grab because he's being given every opportunity to do it. Synock grand to not grow. I mean if he if he doesn't get if he doesn't get the week one starting job. It's not from lack of a chance to show what he has. He's been given the opportunity day in day out in practice running with the once every time when they start practice and the good new seven shots they liked the list out. Who's the offensive line. I try to put that tweet. In the in the tracker article every day and it's been kendra green. So he's getting his chance but it's funny because my talented say you know. Should we read into this. And he said you shouldn't and then he followed it up with all these glowing remarks of kendra green his work ethic. And now he's adapting well and varsity level stuff unless kendrick green starts throwing snaps over heads are bouncing them fumbling. It's his job. I think that's to say it's his job like y'all said all right. Let's go to another training camp battle. Let's talk about guard. This wasn't necessarily one that was talked about a bunch but now the sudden rashard cowart his in injected himself into a very important role guys. What's going to happen. Guard in terms of the depth. Not necessarily starters but who they keep you got half an hour he can play guardia finney. Who can play guard finney. I don't think played any snaps at center on monday night. So what are we going on with the depth. That guard. brian go ahead. I think the guy that is the most susceptible to being cut would be. Bj finney out of the three. I i would think that. I think that they're high enough on half an hour with the fact as a backup being able to play both positions. And if it's it's a situation between the both of those. I think has an hour winds that face off now. I a lot of people in the live chat will do not wanna see that and i get it but i'm just saying what i think will happen now. Coward came out of nowhere. And when i say came out of nowhere the fans when they signed him and when they signed jo hague as well when they signed both of these guys they there was no excitement over it. There was really no fanfare whatsoever. They they were being labeled as camp bodies. And i think coward came out in that game the other day and proclaimed that i am not a camp body that i can go ahead and hold down my job here so i really think that. If it's a face. I mean if it's the three to go in it's not going to be finn but if the front runner right now for that backup guard position has got to be coward based on what we saw all right dave leaving about the guard position. Yeah i'm kind of on the exact opposite end. There is one brian. Anthony davis i think. Bj finney in how he played in the hall of fame game and the fact that he stepped in guard and in my opinion. He's a much better guard than center. I think i don't think there's any way vinny feeney does make the team. He's just he came. We have. I haven't talked about him enough because i've was one that said. Hey we don't have anything from two thousand twenty to go off of because he wasn't even going to get on the field for seattle and then after he got traded to the bengals couldn't get on the field there either but you know what he was on the field on monday night or monday night thursday night in the hall of fame. I can't remember what what date is. He played twenty four snaps. And if you not to have grades or what you know if they're the end all be all everything. I'm not saying that but jeff did. The article finney was the third highest ranked offensive lineman get. He did very well because they adamant dart. I've from the very beginning. I've had reshad coward on this team because i thought you know he actually brings in some experience at guard and right now. He's you're starting left guard for now. So that's why. I'm thinking that's the way rolls out. We weren't even talking about guard yet. But we kinda got there because of the anything right. Yeah and our possibly making the team. I have passed now or not. Make a team to boy. Wha- what a damning thing now it'd be he's starting center on the right now. I think it's pretty change. I know they love guys names on the table. Let's go to the next position the training camp battles of running back. This got interesting because of an injury. That was benny snell. Ceylan biolog- has played well but now he's hurt and he's probably not going to play on thursday. We know nauseous making the team..

"Gang jones always already throwing the football. And you weren't even coming out of your point. Yeah you're not even open. But he played or hundred and twenty four snaps offensive snaps last year. That's a lot of snaps and now those are going to go to area's tony sterling. Shepard darius slayton. Maybe john ross or some of these other guys were about to talk to obviously kenny golladay. The eleven personnel package that we hope to see a little bit more in jason garrett's which is funny. Because you think about ben mcadoo. All that guy ran was eleven personnel like ninety percent. It was ridiculous at jason garrett runs a lot twelve twelve and thirteen. We want to see a little bit more eleven to have gone tate. Now and now you can mix and match this personnel grouping these starters and even bringing some of these other players like john. Ross dante pettis or whomever which weber ends up making the squad. That's a much more diverse set of personnel and much more explosive. And that's one of the biggest gripes with the giants. Offense last year is the fact that they were not explosive. All the successful teams in the national football league right now all those offenses their explosive defenses are catering to stop explosive. Plays and the giants are out there. Running four yardsticks every damn play the other thing too that excites me about this year's receiver group a lot more than last. You're coming into last season. I think this is pretty obvious. Is that. there's some pretty good depth on this group here. And if we look at the backups. Who not all three. These guys are guaranteed to make the roster you have john ross who was a former top ten pick has elite speed but has not really played up to the level that maybe we expected or hoped has had some injury issues. So if he's fully healthy might be able to have an impact as that v receiver in the group then have cj board who is likely going to be a defacto special teams impact player and then they pettus is also a speedster. I know we're not really thought. They pet us in exactly the best out of the group. He hasn't really been productive as we would have hoped early on in his career and then he comes over the giant giants midway through last season. But he still has the talent so these three guys. I think are really good depth players compared to what we saw last year. Where you had to bring up guys from the practice squad There was a lot of inconsistency on who those guys were. I really like the group that they have and the battle between these three guys for the last two spots. As do i as do i in pettus. He came in late in the year played week. Sixteen seventeen had six targets caught. What is it four or five targets. The giants caught four of them. And then he had that one touchdown for seventy six yards against dallas in week. Seventeen and i think the team does like dante pettis but they also signed john. Ross for reason. I do believe they wanna put a high priority on being a little bit more. Explosive love cadavers. Tony very explosive player. Doesn't have the kind of vertical deep separation speed that john. Ross has. i think it's gonna be really interesting battle between those two and then the player that on the field. The offense is in as talented as them. Cj board but he has real laws special teams value. And that's a big part of a lot of these guys on the back end of the roster making the team especially fuse If continues to prove that he can be reliable. Goner that they're gonna look for on punt returns or on punts and stuff like that. And that's where i think. Cj board could also fight for one of those last wide receiver roster spots in end up seeing the field of injuries. Do end up happening to the giants but between pederson. Ross i might go a ross. Even though he's just dropped so many. Footballs and he's injured. But there's that explosive element could be really really valuable especially when you have all that other personnel. Who can really thrive with route running the intermediate parts of the field. You can have ross clear out. You have kenny. Golladay on dig. You can australian shepherd underneath. You really really chris. Route runners there can golladay case really really big target with large catch radius. I think that could be interesting. Yeah you mention basically the numbers game with this receiving group and it's going to be very interesting to follow over the course of training cabin and through the final cut downs. You know. i think we're pretty confident in the top. Four guys. but then there's the question of just how many wide receivers the giants will carry on their final roster yet. Six is usually pretty standard. Nfl wide. but you talked about and we'll get we'll get into this after the break you know. The giants played a lot of twelve and thirteen personnel to in three tight end sets which kind of limits you to two or just one wide receiver so there isn't that a real need to have six or potentially more wide receivers but then you also have that need for special teams. Cj board is really great governor. He made he made a bunch of flies on special teams last year. But dante pettis is also a really good and particularly punt returns and teams might be kicking the ball out the back of the end zone on kickoffs a lot more but punt returns still do have value as well so that could wind up being very difficult decision for the giants and then there's also john ross's long speed. He's beazely assuming he's healthy. He's easily the fastest player on the team. He's really one of the very fastest players in the nfl. But then you know being healthy is. That is an issue with him. He's had two years his rookie year and then last year. Twenty twenty where. He's only had three games and then he's only played more than eight games. Once that was a sophomore year when he played in thirteen started ten games so the the trick with him is really just getting him on the field. And then you also mentioned the drops those are issue with him as well so this battle for the the backup receiver roles or potentially just backup. Receiver role is going to be very fierce. Because each of these guys bring something to the table that nobody else on. The team really does now if we discuss. These fringe players. It's really odd to see this list. Because there's a number of guys in here who were asked to step up and play some games in suit up not all of them but they're all pretty familiar names and right now. I don't even know if even any of these guys are going to stick around. A majority of them might end up being on practice. Squads they might end up getting picked up off of the giants. Practice squad in signed other rosters. That's something that's definitely in play here because some of these guys are pretty quality players. The number referring to austin mac is probably the biggest one here who suited up and got a decent amount of snaps. You made some decent plays. We talked about during the season. Chris and i did about how we were impressed with some of the things that austin mac did being fifth receiver but after him. David sills alex. Bachman feels like they've been around forever. I don't know why but it hasn't been that long. And then also derek dillon who was a you. Dfa from the previous class another guy with some elite speed here for these guys that are fringe players. They are put in the very difficult position of having to beat out. Those quality. backups. That we just talked about how they have a lot of good traits. They have a lot of strong abilities that they can be used in this giants offense as players so these guys really have to look really really good and camp in. Knock off one of these veterans. Otherwise they're going to end up on a practice squad or they're going to end up on another team. And i kinda think. That's going to be the destination for austin mac..

"twenty four snaps" Discussed on Behind the Steel Curtain

"This is a little bit taking some time here at the beginning in the show but i have to give a big shoutout today because today is my eldest sons tenth birthday. My oldest son. Gabriel is ten years old today. He is my middle child after children. He's the one in the middle. But he but i have to say he's my eldest son because i have a daughter and then two sons and he's turning ten and it's crazy because i always remembered with his birthday. That was my last day in what was supposed to be my life long career i took i had spent ten years for those of you know i'll share a little bit about myself. I actually i have a degree in physics and a minor in mathematics and also that i have a certificate for secondary education. Along with that is is what i went to college for and i loved physics. I love math. And they'll reason. I switched from math. Physics at the last minute before went to college is because physics was math with a purpose. So that was it. I still really love numbers as you can tell with the staff geeky but I wanted to go into teaching as much. Because i wanted to be coach. That's what i wanted to do. I wanted to coach. So i got a job right out of college and i was began teaching and coaching. I coached high school football and indoor and outdoor track. I did that for seven years and when my daughter was born what my last semester. I wasn't coaching. High school actually coached at the local college but when my daughter was born i took a leave of absence from coaching because she was born right before football season started and therefore i knew that i just wasn't. Luckily she was born early a little bit and would she have been born late. It would have been already when practices started so i took a year off from coaching. And then that ended up being two and then three and then when my son was born actually took a leave of absence from teaching and a semester turned into a year turned into to turn into three and now turned into ten which allows me to do behind the curtain. So happy birthday gabriel. I'm glad that i had a chance to To to to take my turn after my wife took a turn we were. And then i won the flip for the third child Of of of spending time with him when he was born and it turned into this which is fantastic. So now out here. I am talking to you all on a thursday morning. You're like that's enough dave. Let's talk steelers. Yes here's what's crazy. I'm reminiscent we're gonna be reminiscent even more. Because what we're gonna be talking about today is kendra green kendrick green. But we're not gonna be talking about kindergarten. We're gonna be talking about what kendrick bourne could be. Katie green is my choice to win the job. Day one of the twenty twenty one regular season in other words week. One starter at center for the steelers. I just think that he's the best option. I know a lot of people would be any. Bj finney is a backup. That's what he was with the steelers and when he left the steelers struggled to even be that anywhere else so to come in and think he's going to be an answer as a starter. I think putting too much on him. I like bj finney. I think he's a great person. I like him in the role that he's in. I just don't know that he's the guy that you want to turn to totally if he's got start for awhile until green is ready. That's what it needs to be. But it's not like i think. Bj fini's the long-term answer at the position. where i think kinder- green is so you're like well. What are you talking. so much about. Kinder- green kindergarten was the steelers third round. Pick this year. And i went to do an article this weekend. This didn't come from a question from a user. This came from a question that i ended up posing myself. I went to write an article this weekend as much as i started diving into it. Either send a message to jeff. And i'm like this article coming later. This has got to be static this week. This is absolutely crazy. What i found. I was just looking for a simple answer and it was not a simple answer. And you're you're gonna love this. My simple question. That i had thought was a simple answer was okay kendrick. Green third round pick. What if he starts week one and then starts week two and starts the whole season. Who was the last third round. Pick to do that for the steelers. Wow you want to talk about having the dive deep the depth this had to go. I started with twenty. Twenty and i was working backwards. Came and lets you see how it worked out. You probably already have in your mind. Oh it might have been so and so it could have been so and so. Let's get this answer. So twenty. Twenty alex smith week one. He wasn't a starter he didn't start until week. Twelve after by depre- got hurt. He played ten snaps his first game. He had one tackle. So that's what i'm looking at. You know how many snaps you played in week one. What kind of stats did you have. When did you really become a starter. That was alex meant the year. Before was the andre johnson. He played twenty four snaps which was thirty six percent of the offensive snaps for the steelers and he had three catches for twenty five yards. But he didn't actually get a what would be called a start until week three but he played all the time. So you like okay. We're getting there. But he didn't really play a significant portion of the snaps until much later in the season the other two thousand nine hundred third round pick justin lane. He didn't play a single defensive snaps his rookie year and he's yet to become starter. So that's just that was what was. He wasn't even active for week. One you're gonna find this being a theme if you go to two thousand eighteen. There was two third round picks there as well mason. Rudolph inactive wasn't act of the entire season. He didn't start until year two and he wouldn't even started at. It's ben roethlisberger got hurt then. The other third round pick was ju- core for he played seventeen snaps which was twenty percent of the steelers offensive snaps in week. One he didn't have any stats. He was offensive linemen and he technically started week. One that's correct chook. Sikora for started week one of his rookie year. You're like why only played twenty percent of the snaps. He was the jumbo tight end and the steelers opened their season.

Rudolph andre johnson Gabriel twenty percent gabriel ten years seven years kendrick bourne thirty six percent twenty five yards bj finney today twenty four snaps seventeen snaps thursday morning ten snaps Sikora first game jeff three

"Let's start with the bears let's talk a little bit NFL because. what talk to you about something I was thinking about earlier today. regarding. the term all offensive identity. offensive identity. how old do you describe the bears offense you how do you describe the bears office that we have seen not just how do you describe the bears offense from we saw that this past Thursday against the Packers how do you describe the bears offense see when I watch Kansas city. this past Sunday when I watched him city and see Patrick homes and watch how that offense works you know it's a prolific offense is one the best in the NFL not the best in the NFL when I watch the Dallas Cowboys especially this last Sunday when they have everybody on the field ready to go terrific running game with them as he can. have a number receivers for their press got to connect with you know it's a good offense when everyone's on the field there what people are complaining about. when I do I get paid or not and just actually performed Dallas is a terrific offense. when I went to New Orleans Saints from Monday Night Football yesterday we want to say to how to get up and down the field with drew Brees a hall of Famer you know it it's fun it's fun to watch you know what they are when you see them when you see the rams how they marched their way to a point of getting to the Superbowl last year their offense worked with Sean McVay is our head coach and Jared Goff as your quarterback it all work together so there's certain teams in the NFL. when you watch them you know exactly what you're watching when it comes to the offense but how do you describe the bears offense the office that you see here in twenty nineteen what you saw last year as well. you realize that eighteen games into the mat Maggie euro. I'm really unsure of this team's offense of identity that stems from the quarterback in the stem from head coach. Dan Duncan from the athletic dot com who does a terrific job very difficult to get on the show but I still enjoys columns either way I just wanna just quote from you just a few things that stood out to me about his column from the athletic dot com some numbers that stood out some of us. the Montgomery generated two of the bears five first quarter first downs. two others came by penalty and the other attributes you scramble. it's impossible to reconcile how Montgomery only got two more touches the remaining three quarters. you think about the running game it's something that you and I talked about last year how come the bears are running the football more join Howard to return and others and you wonder like why where is the running game. and it's not necessarily about trying to turn the clock back to nineteen eighty seven as far as exclusively run the football and sometimes throwing it because we know what is a good offense looks like in the NFL right we've seen what it looks like we have to see what looks like a with the bears but we have seen it around the NFL as we talk about the beers with Jonathan hood on ESPN one thousand and the ESPN app so Montgomery generate two of the bears five first quarter types downs first downs the others came by penalty and the other attributes you scramble. how is not coming to be utilized more that's a red check mark for sure I guess the bears how about this one if that one doesn't tickle your fancy how about this one. now do you use thirty two different personnel packages against the Packers. their most common personnel groupings were the eleven which is one running back one tight and and three wide receivers the twenty is two running backs no tight ends in three receivers and the twenty four snaps of peace think about that. so their most productive personal was there two running backs one sided into receivers which gained a hundred four yards and four touchdowns with seventeen place six point one one yards per play average so when they were successful whatever you could measure success is from what we saw this past Thursday I guess the Packers. our most productive personnel's when they had to what he backs into a tight end two receivers. the most productive personnel package was the Montgomery and three tone on the field the same time when she he'd as a tight end Allen Robinson Taylor Gabriel as receivers in seven snaps that group generated forty five yards and two first downs. the most common personal package come on Mike Davis Robinson Gabriel Cordell Patterson but on eight **** that group only had eleven yards one first down it was sacked twice on the snaps. so exactly what does this team do well offensively. one was on the field forty nine snaps lining up in the slot as a white out for forty four of them the bears play with multiple running backs on fifty nine percent of the snaps. Miller played eighteen offense of snaps getting just one target. yet they had him on the kickoff coverage team as well. this is so it goes back to the question exactly what do the bears do well off instantly. so when you think about that game against the Packers what Mike Patton being defensive coordinator and we can get into the minutiae of what is the chicken expiry when it comes to players versus coaches right. more times than not you will tell me could let me tell you when the bears one cone was great travesty was great or the defense was great you always go to the players. when the team under Jeeves everyone porch pointed the coaches as if this is high school or college it's kind of how it is in the cities I kind of how it is what fandom instead of just blaming everybody for the collapse you point fingers at just one group just the coaches well actually it's on a number of things. when you go back and look at that game against the Packers and see different a quarter Mike Pettit right Mike Patton's there and it was a battle between Matt Nagy who knows offense.

bears NFL Packers Dallas Cowboys Dallas Sean McVay Dan Duncan Kansas Mike Patton New Orleans Saints rams Football Jared Goff Brees Jeeves Patrick Matt Nagy defensive coordinator NFL. Mike Pettit

"Have somebody number twenty four snapping by? I wanna play number number four again. But I had to squeeze it in in a precious few amount of busy broadcast seconds. And it really is important Democrats, it may sound funny. And I guess it is, but they still and the media and by the way, NS NBC CNN are continuing to hemorrhage audience new ratings for last week the hemorrhaging to began the week before continued last week. It's not it's not pretty their audiences require fake news. They cannot deal with facts reality. They have to fake news. So they're looking for narratives to get the audiences back and one of the narratives is that bars line? They're hiding the truth that essentially Robert Voller has been kidnapped. He's tied up in an isolated and a distant Washington safehouse nothing, but a pail of water to urinate in and a loaf of bread to eat anything perjured until he admits to go public with the idea that he found no, collusion and the obstruction. I mean, it's a bit of an exaggeration. But they remain convinced that collusion was found but bar the hand picked attorney general like every other presidential appointees hand picked if somehow messing with the truth, just like their world, exit polls should count more than actual votes. So here's Lahey giving it one last college. Try have you overruled Muller or his team on any redaction question? Nope. See they are convinced that bars in their redacting won't kinds of stuff and molars objecting. But they got me tied up in the basement at the safe house. With Wiley Coyote. So he can't do anything about it. So bars in the Nope Muller is not overruled me at all not one way or no no not at all lately. Well, damn, okay. Well, how about this? Mr. attorney general have you discussed any specific reductions or the White House, meaning is Trump redacting? This thing is that what's really going on you. You've let Trump know. No. Special counsel not tied up in the basement of a safe house with a pale breath. He's working with me on these reductions, we don't have any disagreements about anything so far. And the president doesn't even know what? Folks. I can't this is this is why you never give up. This is why you never let forlorn despondency take over. And we're not there yet. They're still has to be the actual investigation. Right now. We're told there's going to be and Bart. He knows what went on. Got to follow through on it. Graham, somebody twenty seven you have to hear this too. I referenced this. But I want you to hear it. This Senate appropriations committee Senator Brian Schatz democrat from Hawaii. He is convinced that bar didn't mean to say that he thinks that the Trump campaign was spied on. He misspoke. So Senator shots is going graciously give bar a second chance. The second stab at this. You're gonna give him a chance to revise and extend his remarks. He's going to give him a chance to take it back. He's going to give him a chance say, you're right Senator. I didn't mean to say that I thought the Trump campaign was being spied on. Here's how that exchange went you want to rephrase what you're doing because I think the word spying could cause everybody in the cable news eco-system to freak out. And I think it's necessary for you to be precise with your language here. You normally are I want to give you a chance to be especially precise here. I'm not sure if all the connotations of that were they refer. To unauthorized surveillance. I to make sure there was no unauthorized surveillance is appropriate your mind. This is your call. I really did want to give you a chance to say it how you wanted to say and make sure that you didn't speak. We didn't want to you. We know you really didn't mean you think spying going on there. Oh, I didn't. I damn well did if you wanna call it surveillance on authorized surveys. My whatever you want that. I'm telling you by and this chance now that it's going to cause everybody cable news ecosystem to freak out damn, right? It is because they were willing participants in this whole hoax scandal. What have you and any investigation that is worth? It's salt is going to reveal media complicit complicit in this here or complicity. It's going to reveal it. Their only hope is to say, they were duped, they trusted their sources there were multiple sources. And we always knew Trump was reprobates stuff down drew to us. It's it's one of those days folks in there aren't many. But when they happen, you need to stop take stock and take notice is one of those days that is a bad day for leftists around the world in Israel. Prime minister be nothing yo won reelection for fifth turn now leading up to it. We got the same kind of news that we got leading up to the two thousand sixteen as BB was hated. He was despised. He was a criminal. He was a thug. He was corrupting. There was no way his own party hated his guts. There is so many look could show that Beebe had no prayer then the exit polls that's too close to call. Looks like baby has breathed his last breath as a prime minister. Turns out v wins. Turns out BB one. So handedly that there's now a column in a publication called the week dot com, which makes the nation that there isn't any leftist political movement Israel today that Israel's political movements are quote, unquote, far, right right and center. And by my campaign interference did Obama's people go out and help defeat BB in this election as they did in previous like, do, you know, the Obama administration sent people over two Israeli campaign against Israel Netanyahu. So PB wins media said no way couldn't happen. Not going to happen. These toast beebees history. BB's a white nationalist. Is a Jewish white. Then bar comes along and flips this entire scandal. This entire silent cool on its head at long last. And now we're looking at the real conspirators. We're gonna take an investigation and look into the real collusion. Hillary and the Russians the FBI and the Russians the deal Jay and the Russians we're finally got to start looking at this the right lens and in the right direction. Where's Trump did I- Trump's down in Texas opening up oil and gas? Oh, folks, I have I'm reading my tech blogs. Are you ready for this? I've got the story. I'll have actual. Word for word. Details on it. One of my tech blogs guys was near panic last night. Because there was a report that digital music streaming does not assist reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Digital new. They they thought that going digital getting rid of vinyl getting rid of CDs. DVD's would save the planet that would put less stress on climate change and an official scientific report came out saying that digital music streaming will not save the planet. Can you believe anybody actually believed that the way you listen to music contributed to the destruction of the planet? They do and they did. And that you could you could I could see the tears right there on my iphone screen is. I'm reading this stuff. I'll have the verbatim. You won't believe it. So Trump's down in Texas opening up oil and gas. The Pentagon has awarded two contracts to start building a wall on the southern border and another shocking election in Wisconsin. The supreme court is conservative. The media kept telling us that the left wing Democrats. We're going to dominate the supreme court elections, Wisconsin. But. Conservative one. It just is one of those rare days where it's a bad day for left us and for more comic relief audio sound bite number twenty four. Mt. Maxine anti Maxine chairs the House Financial Services committee. "Mutual insurance company and affiliates. Equal housing. I'm Chris alanine. Our college football studios, presented by Mercedes Benz vans. The college football playoff national title game, presented by AT and T features Alabama and Clemson two teams have won the last three national championships. Bama knocked the Tigers out in the semifinals a year ago, but Alabama head coach Nick Sabin says this Clemson offense is different thanks to its quarterback Trevor Lawrence they're much more balanced offensively. They certainly can run the ball effectively and they've done that all year long, but his ability to to to make throws maker explosive plays down the field with some of the very good talented receivers that they have created a different set of circumstances. Last year, they were a little bit more quarterback run oriented this year. They are making a lot of explosive plays in the passing game. And and he's done a really good job of executing that for them in the semi-final win Lawrence four of six hundred sixty yards two touchdowns on passing through twenty yards or more downfield. That's today's Home Depot nexgen stat. The Home Depot the next generation of home. Improvement with everything you need to do projects smarter. The Home Depot. More saving more doing back to Glendale. We go to Jason Monetti. Chris. Thank you. LSU has filibuster this game. They've had the ball forty two minutes. Twenty one seconds UCF to thirteen minutes at steel goal tied for Tracy at LSU at four seventeen to go. Go kick it out of the hold of grout. Twenty six yard boot. It is odd the way ended once again by sex those upright so forty two twenty four coal Tracy with his twenty nine field goal. This year a school record for LSU. And it looks like the bayou Bengals are going to be the first team at LSU history to have four top ten wins. Yeah. That is impressive in. Also. They're going to be the first team it appears to be UCF in about twenty six tries. Curebowl two thousand sixteen Arkansas state beat UCF the last loss for the nights. Four twelve to go in this game and LSU a forty two twenty four advantages there one miracle for the nights from Orlando. They need to actually to miracles and a couple of two point conversions to go along with the miracles. So forty minus twenty four sixteen touchdowns or were six you get a couple of two point conversion sixteen tank. You would thanks for bringing your Abacus of this, really. Appreciate the favor consciousness. Atkins approaches the ball at boots left side through the end zone. The twenty five yard line is where UCF will go from with four twelve to go in this game. You have to wonder what UCF would be like with McKenzie Milton in the light up in the same breath. Though, you have to wonder what LSU would be like with at all a full complement of its defense close to that. Yeah. Like four to six starters that are out for various reasons. You mean heavy those guys back. Yeah. I mean, no question about it. But obviously you play the game with the guys that are out there, but MacKenzie built isn't just a really good quarterback. He's the leader of this football team. And they miss that in certain situations. You know, get tied in games, and you need that one constant voice penalty for style. So UCF forgot what it was like to have the football in the play clock. Ran dry. It's what a redshirt freshman Dixie in charge. When you get on the field needs to get going. It's like he completely forgot that there is a play clock. Both teams have eleven penalties in this game. I touted fifteenth snap tobacco backside pressure was coming through it at incomplete drop by Nixon on a slant route we did have some green in front of it. Definitely did. Dow trade Nixon got a waiver to transfer immediately to UCF the champions if the American conference second and fifteen four to go back takes his staff is under sees flag comes in he stood up and dropped. There were flags down. Whistles had blown another flag. Cubs yet on a possible late get from Phillips and Thornton. Ed. Will check the markers that a penalty written PlayStation fiesta bowl. There are two thousand a played both by the defense personal foul facemask after the play was over personal foul unnecessary roughness number six both fifteen yard penalties will be enforced. I boy thirty yards for free. Ladies and gentlemen. This is nice game. Three. So Thornton the face Baz Phillips, the sports. But like he was suspended for the first house to try to get it. Yeah. He just has all kinds of energy was sentenced somewhere in the locker room a half number one. But that was a neat. Little concept by David daveramsey defensively. Stevens comes on the blitz and the running back blocks him, Patrick, Quinn or Queen is. Actually is going to cover the running back if he goes out and. On a route ten EP doesn't when becomes the pressure guy. Mid field snapped toback stabs at all. Outside. Sideline and John battle realty inbounds. He went flying through the air to bring it in caught the ball. But he did not get his foot down in bounds. Although watching the replay here it seemed as though he may have tiptoed before the elbow came down out of bounds. Here's a quick snap from UCF. They will run up the middle with Anders said he's tossed the forty two yard line. You might be right with that interception with battles. No, I think he actually ended up out of bounds. It's anything except the hand in the fort. Or in this case, it could be the hand in the foot coming down inbounds. I don't think that happened hand off to Anderson, and he puts across the thirty five to thirty sputter out after a gain of twelve by Devon white three twenty four to go in this game. UCF has one timeout remaining moving back the freshman out of the shotgun. Ball hash Mark left. He takes the step. Standing tall. Fires down the middle. Incomplete. Battle was closest each up to the air and nearly got his hands on it. Second down coming up, by the way, the thirty yards of those two penalties were as much in the way of yardage as UCF had tire half. That's kind of what it felt like so far in the second half with his office. We talked about this the adjustment period by LSU defensively was pretty quick. And once they got acclimated to the speed in which UCF plays offensively LSU caught up with them in a hurry. They certainly did three ten to go LSU forty two twenty four at a false start against UCF. And it looks like the right tackle. False start number eighty eight offense five yard, credibly. Jake has cockpit tight end was on the right side of the line. And it'll be second and fifteen which they certainly didn't need Darrell Mack, by the way, one four eleven this. Tend to go LSU forty UCF. Twenty four snap toback. Handoff mcrae. Driving the legs. Applies to thirty and balances skates to the twenty four yard line. It's a gain of eleven Devon white ushered avowed along with battle third doubted four for UCF. High rate of speed Switzer the right one of the lead staff to back off the gray inside left by the twenty fifth dodgy outside five and finally rushed at the three yard line out of bounds by battle first and goal UCF again at twenty one. Two fifty three to play. Lead is sixteen Parrella issue slight danger that hand off to the gray. And he goes down with one needed a two yard line. The best wasn't cleaned battle the tackle. That's a case where sometimes going fast defense is set up in the opposite line. Don't know whether target's second doubt, stab toback catches dates back. Chuck sit in a year and out of bounds over the far sideline left. Jacoby Stevens the pressure paralysis you third and goal and Darryl knack has to anticipate pressure. The deeper you get into the red zone who more the defensive coordinator is going to pressure. The offense to get them out of rhythm and create a negative point. And certainly there MAC has to understand that right here. Dave Aranda is definitely going to be bringing extra people. You don't have a ton of time down in this part of the field. Slow substitution self and comes in along with the college stamp on third down a handoff up. Touchdown Taj by Cowan bloods, his across the goal line. A two yard Rauner. Josh Hypo signals with two fingers in the air to go for two they will take a look at the touchdown. Gerard more is Richard Lawrence Lawrence's the defender that's down in. Would it big veteran defensive players pounding his fist on the turf? It. Typically is not a good sign. He has had an outstanding game today. Couple of sacks four tackles for loss. Boasted that early on. I think Lawrence got ran down a little bit is the number of plays climbed. And. Just gets rolled over late in that play a little bit on the bottom of the pile. Taj McGowan the senior at a Hollywood in the state of Florida gets the touchdown LSU forty UCF thirty to twenty four to go UCF has one timeout remaining. So you don't necessarily if you do get the two point conversion you don't necessarily have to on site. And you know, why onside kick. Because the way that LSU's offensive line is performed for three drives in a row. UCF hasn't had an answer. I mean, they could literally go up to the line of scrimmage and say this is where we're running with the football. And I don't think you can do anything about it. It's a nightmare for defensive coordinator. And I think that's been Randy, Shannon, or, Shannon. The last three drives. There's nowhere to nowhere to hide his defensive line of UCF is Lawrence takes some. Liftings steps toward the sideline. Is it a bad way the lower body? But he will mostly under his own power. Find his way to the sideline as he takes a walk across the ten yard line to the near side left. Ball placed at the three for the two point conversion for UCLA. They have had some wild comebacks. They were down big Tibet physically American championship as Thomas comes in for Lawrence on the two point conversion to twenty four to play Glendale. It a PlayStation fiesta bowl. This is where a running quarterback that also is a big running quarterback is invaluable in place. Just like this deep in the red zone. Two point conversions. I would think Darryl max gonna get involved in this in the run game. And maybe even out on the air. UCF huddling up twenty five game win streak on the line. Darrelle back the redshirt freshman out of the Tidewater area. Northview highschool Dr. Buckner as base. The in house PA system visits all of our filling here at Glendale. You turn up the bass their stopper. I feel it down in my diaphragm to some extent. You know where that is? I do. Yeah. Yeah. Feeling that? We are ready to go. Two twenty four to play your CF needs a two point conversion score game. Vixen why did the right trips to the left back in the backfield? Now, he's joined by two killings Anderson. Scap toback warranted. The right. He's got Anderson lobs it there Anderson. The cats across the goal line for two. Forty two thirty two. There was a two man game with MAC and Anderson killings was there to block attitude twenty four to go. Suddenly lucky UCF is within eight once again, I love the design you have three playmakers in the backfield in killings, in Anderson and also Darrell MAC, and then you get one of them Darrell Mack with the ball in his hands out on the sideline. And then Otis Sanderson initially was a blocker. And then he slipped by the blocker and slipped into the flat. Then is that blocker attacked the quarterback? Nobody is covering ODA. Sanderson will execute it. Where you're talking about that offensive line Brel is Dave Aranda was harkening back when we chatted with him this week to his division three days. And he said look when you were indeed three the two worst parts of the team were the offensive line quarterback. And it was get them before they get you. The war Nader and the offense. It live for UCLA has been outdone so far within quarterbacks for Dave Aranda that's ringing in his ears. You've gotta believe bringing all that pressure to force back. Yeah. That is such a good point. And I think you're exactly right. Right tease it up and he boots at farside. Onside kick opportunity. The ground and. On top of it foster borough wearing that special eighteen jersey collapsed on a loose pigskin that UCF had a shot at Kelly Stouffer executed to perfection, it's on the ground. And then it takes that dreaded late high hop and LSU initially couldn't corral, and I think it was just in Jefferson part of the hands team out there hit him right in the chest. Then McGowan had chance at it for UCF. He was kind of held at the bottom of the pile. Couldn't get the arm outstretched. And finally borough on an island. Takes it for LSU first down in ten forty three parole under center blow set behind the borough. Takes the snap set who drives across the forty yard line of the thirty nine. And Nick pro set timeout says a second down. Last time out for the nights to nineteen to go. They can get the ball back. I mean, you gotta stop right here. Second down at six coming up. You can have the ball bat for one last gas. Yeah. The problem is that we talked about this. The last three drives at LSU offensive line. It's not the bigger and more physical, which they are. But they're fits have been better. You know, we talk about run fits on the deep from the defense standpoint. On the opposite side of the ball. It's landmarks, and they call handing them up getting a hat on a defender. And if you're three hundred twenty pounds, you get a hat on offender they disappear and then a running back gets that was a muddy run right there for four yards. You do that three times in your converting in you possess it and before long the entire quarters gone like LSU's done this second half drives at five minutes. Six minutes and seven minutes. Relics use staff to borough seconded six handoff to Brisac straight ahead. He goes to the thirty six yard line. It'll be third down at about two four LSU with two oh seven ago and moving called third three for the thirty six and even that was a nifty little run for set cut back with defensive in Titus Davis. Flashed across the play and percent was just patient. He patiently waited for his opportunity to play behind very good running backs and his strong suit is being patient as Iran Whitelock down to seven LSU breaks auto gets to the live third down three to thirty.
