What do you got the over the under there? I think in different times. Perhaps I would go. Under, but we are now living in terrible economic reality and I think ten year contract extension Dr Probably thing of the past at least temporarily. Don't underestimate the power influence and dynamism of booth, gotch returning home to Minnesota. He four seven sports. I picked Minnesota because it was the best fit for me. Overall playing in the home state, being with my family during these difficult times and playing with the talented group, coming in Gotcha is going to most likely. Sit Out for next season. He will apply for a waiver. listen. It's booth Gotcha. Anything's possible and I'd love nothing more than to talk with. With you on this podcast sometime later this year and dedicated an entire episode to Gotcha getting immediately eligible, but I don't know if he can pull that ultimately, they'll goodwin here. I mean Minnesota Beats. Out Clayton Iowa State Maryland Auburn for Gotcha Services. He played the past two seasons at Utah, coming off a season where he averaged ten point, seven point, three point, six rebounds, and two point nine assists most notably rose to fame when you and I both failed in about seven different pronunciations unexpectedly as he came up during a December episode of the eye on college basketball podcast, but he has become. Quite beloved in a short period of time legitimately can be a really good player for Minnesota. This is the third transfer. For Richard Pitino in this offseason. They also got western Michigan Transfer. Who will be immediately eligible brandon, Johnson, and then there's A. There's a good freshman guard coming in David Mustaf, who should who's from Turkey who should be pretty good as well? Jamal Mashburn Junior is going to head into the program so I'll tell you this. I mean Daniel to route to me. When he wore Minnesota uniform last season was one of the fifteen best players in college basketball. Booth, gotch can be one of the ten best players in college basketball in Minnesota uniform. You're from now if he so chooses teams also GonNa Bring Back Marks. Car GABE CAL sheer hope I'm getting that right and Trey Williams. Minnesota needs to be better. I think it will be better I don't know if it's GonNa. Be a year from now or two but I had I listen and full transparency. I insisted we do this podcast here. Okay, because it's booth, gotch. Biggest news of the week as far as I'm concerned in college basketball I. Don't see how we top this little question I have for you perish. Is I know Minnesota wasn't in your top twenty, five and one I assume version. What nineteen point I was going to be coming out on Tuesday. I must say what Minnesota from unranked to seventeenth eighteenth. Are you going to hold off even though Gosh might not? Not Be eligible I'm just wondering if there's influence on this roster scout team, and all that stuff might be enough for you to put Richard Patino team into the rankings. Here's what I would say. I I understand your skepticism about booth garage getting a waiver to play immediately at Minnesota, but I would say if Johnny. Jusin got one transferring back home to UCLA. Why wouldn the Homie Gawk get? One, at Minnesota. That's a very valid point. I consider that goofing around When I would, I reached out to people connected to the juicing situation as Joe First, congrats, secondly, how'd you get done so quickly? It wasn't just that choosing got waiver. It was like you got a waiver in like early. June or late, May, I mean it was a really sometimes. He's players waiting for waivers like the seats and started. Started and like they're still I'd nerd anything and to get one done that early. How you get a dog. And what I was told was it's was the easiest waiver request ever. You've got a young man on the other side of the country, wanting to move home to be close to his family during a pandemic. How was it ended up going to deny that one? It's like okay and if you apply that same. Logic to booth Gotcha. SCITUATE I would I would actually assume that he will get a waiver play immediately and to answer your question at that point I got bad news for I you. Look, there's a new favorite. There's a new paper to the big ten. GOPHERS. got.

Pennsylvania judges skeptical of Cosby effort to reverse sex assault conviction

"Cosby's lawyers urged a panel of pennsylvania appellate judges appellate apple appellate appellate judges monday to overturn his sexual assault conviction assume those please were met by a course of chuckles and mediocre bill cosby impressions in the courtroom cosby was convicted last last year's solely. You give me a new trial. I want to get out of here. He's got a southern twang up terrible convicted last year of course but only for one sexual assault into us and four we're of andrea constant about the jury in his case heard testimony from five other women that accused him of similar crimes. Even though that wasn't part of the case they were just like witnesses. Cosby's attorneys are now arguing the courtship of never heard from those five women since they weren't actually part of the trial they're just witnesses and that the accused the eighty two year old comedian rapist pissed is getting a bum deal including the fact that one of the prosecutors involved promised cosby that he'd never prosecute him ever again in that. He didn't say no take backs when he said that's like couple things wrong. I guess they're saying with this. Whole conviction should have heard from the women. The prosecutor promised he was a big fan all sorts of stuff going. I mean i mean well. Oh cosby's rich and he shouldn't have been convicted. According to cosby's that's basically argument. Nineteen women accused cosby of sexual assault for those keeping score at home only five or called upon by the prosecution prosecution because i believe the courtroom was just getting violently.

"Because Nick swertz and good buddy of mine talks a tremendous amount of shit, and he's a fun guy to watch a game with. And so, you know, he's big time Viking big time chief, and I was like you come to my city full, and well, I'll get you. I'll take you to the game. And we will do this. Right. And so I might take sports in with me. Falcons opened up against the Viking. Oh, maybe I'll talk to our. Is it up in Minnesota in Minnesota? And then our opening game against Philadelphia in Atlanta. I'm talking to you know, the thing about the NFL sixteen games, the first three or four games matter in in a way, you can't imagine. Because it does set the tone for the rest, you either come out if you come out for no, you know, you're you're predestine playoff team. If you come out three and one you're looking to and to even anything less than that. And you kind of like, well, I guess this season. We're all going to conserve our energy. You know, it's just really hard to come back. If you're if you don't start outright, those early games people like whatever September. No it matter on a deep level. So schedule came out the falcons kind of one apparently they won the schedule release of video competition, which wasn't a competition until this Alkan released video which was a whole. I guess parody or of the game of thrones entrance came thrones opening sequels. So they did a whole thing where all the stadiums were being built in like a falcon was kind of flying around to different places, and they did this thing where a ram comes in and headbutts Saint. And the referee does not call it. Says totally trolled on the saints, which I loved, you know, the saints our biggest rival so I was like, yeah. Let's do it. Let's just remind everybody of that before we lose to the saints. Well, I'll tell you what your NFC south is tough. It's fits tough. It's going to be very tough. And we have another offensive coordinator this year who's coming back. And he was there before Dan Quinn got there. So it's going to be an interesting draft. That's why I'm excited to go to Nashville this week for the draft. And just kind of see I wanna hear I wanna fool report. I well. Yeah. Our listeners waterfall report as well. Because I'm sure you're going to see and hear things down their finger on the pulse of national. I know you do I know you do. But I also want you to observe for me. Do me a favor. Really see I'm so curious to about fan reactions when teams pick players that the fans should. Yeah. Because they unload on their team and the team management and the GM's, and the coaches, and it's just so much fun to watch. Like I've seen it when they announced and go in the first first round. The Buffalo Bills pick. You know? Neil Jackson, Neil. This. Just pulling their hair out. And it's the really one of the most pleasing things ever. I know because it's usually the team is moderately, right, especially when people are that. I remember last year when the Cowboys it was in Dallas last year and the Cowboys selected Vander check I and everyone's like what? And he ended up making stellar plays. Like, he's the best. I'm back that got them into the playoffs for sure it was not that rescue. No offense to any of the Sydney's or Dak fans who are listening. Well, listen friends. Thank you. Thank you for listening, and Gary thank you for being sort of sober ANC. You guys for having me back. It was it was a weird run there. You guys had me taking a shit for two weeks. I was in jail. The following not us, Gary that's on you. That's tough challenges send it in here as we can't all be heroes. Gary unless your name's rob regular Sarah Tian own and you can be hero everyday friends. Then you have it's a struggle. That's right. Ten not a hero. I'm glad you're out of the shooter. I'm glad you're out of jail, and Gary it's good to see your stupid face Janna. I rest my case Chandler is coming covering her face with your hair. Thank you. And you just summed it up for me. Thank you Chen. Sara so much fun hanging with you have a great time in Nashville. All right. And for wriggles picks. I'm Robert oh, Tian it forever.

"I know so many of these games have been like not close. There's not even such a ridiculous. It's just a shooting display, which don't get me wrong. I like offense defense, but I do want you to play both sides like the other night forget which game. It was. I think it was the warriors and clippers you know, the warriors had third thirty eight forty points in the first quarter first quarter of one where the clippers came back. They came back by came back thirty one points that was a made the best day of my life. And it was it was on the road. Anyway, it was on the road a shocker I love seeing warriors fans defeated because it's so rare, and they they have gotten a real they've gotten real cocky. Yeah. Real era gate because they've got all these titles now and their team looks under their team looks like a juggernaut. So yeah, they're just full of all kinds of. Everybody's wondering if Durant's gonna leave and go to the Knicks, you know for a one year contract. And and I think he's going to go. I think it would. I mean, only because Durant is. You know likes to be he's not the number one guy on that. He's not the face of that team. Even though he won MVP. He's an incredible. Like, he is the asset. He is the ringer one of the reasons why they win though, Sheehan ships. But that benches so deep like it's clear that he doesn't feel important in that city and crazy to me because he's clearly one of the finest players in the league for all of us. And for everybody else is just like you. I don't know see this is where I get frustrated because it is a team sport. And if you check your ego, it's well coach wooden greatest basketball coach ever to ever coach the game. I think he said it best. He goes. You'd be amazed at what you can accomplish. If you don't worry about who gets the credit, and and when you have a team of five make it about the five not about the one or the two, and you know, one will ever stop you. But that's how this shit gets derailed egos. Get. Is is like the clearest example of that. And like he's like I'm gonna go to Philadelphia. And then like, they just Gretz. Yeah. Good luck with that. I don't think they're going to go further than the next round wrong. There's some things about that situation. Brown wants to movies. That's why he's here. You know? But in his family, I give them. No, wiser. Yeah. I mean, I definitely think it'd be cool. If him and his son both get to play in the league at the same time. I think wow. Could you? Would be so level. Crazy. I don't know has ever happened. I don't think so definitely I guess. Guess Ken Griffey was managing. When couldn't junior was playing. Yes. Is that? Right. Yeah. But that's the only this is close as I've seen it. Yeah. That's definitely I mean never never that. Would be a I think it could have happened. Michael Jordan had played a little bit longer. But his son never made it into the NBA. I can't even imagine being Michael Jordan son, anyway, or LeBron trying to get NBA like it's like, you're all you're obviously everybody's already watching you from the time you're in middle school playing. So that is true. Abraham LINCOLN has a great quote about that says he said, it doesn't matter. How tall your grandfather was everybody has to do their own growing manning. You know, I'm glad Michael Jordan's, dad. But what are you got? Yeah. And and that's easier said than done because if you are Michael Jordan, son..

"He's a he's a pretty special guy standing guy, although he keeps putting out these new videos like yesterday, he put out a video of him. And like Sierra was like braiding his hair, and he was talking into the camera, and he was using a whole different voice. I've ever heard for Wilson us and a lot of people like Bowman Bomani, don't like a lot of other black guys we're giving him grief because he was like all of a sudden it was like this. New persona of a person. Can you describe it was like being aggressive was street? Yeah. Real street. Just like I've never heard Russell Wilson speak like this. You know? So I don't know if it was just like in the moment getting my hair braided or what? But he caught a lot of flack online. But whatever he got paid good for him. He should get paid. He's like he is the face of that franchise, and you could talk over you want in this country. If you wanna talk street and tough I like to talk twangy. Twenty twenty two twenty. A Warner Brothers cartoon character. Well, I mean somebody that whose accident comes out really strongly when they're on stage, or when I got a whiskey and me, I totally understand. You know, like in the moment, nobody else is talking to you, also rob gronkowski. Who is retired? But was a probably a hall of fame. He'll probably be hall of fame tight end had the Lombardi trophy. I don't know why he had the Lombardi trophy here element. And I guess they were at Fenway park. Apparently had all six of them out there. They basically had a bunch of a bunch of patriots together for this big celebration. They were going to do before a Red Sox game, and they handed out four planning. But instead of right when they were walking out about five minutes before they were gonna walk out. They were all in a tent, and they handed out each of Lombards two different patriots players. And then the handlers kind of walked away and trusted them to do whatever. Well, that's okay. So that's your biggest mistake never trust gronk with the Lombardi trophy. Child just a six pack. So it goes elements started to baseball and pitching it because he was going to throw out the first pitch. That was part of the ceremony was going to throw out the first pitch at the Red Sox game. So said I need to practice someone go catch for me. And someone standing is the better. And for some reason, they chose gronk to Sanders better, and what was growing holding a Lombardi trophy? So what a grunk do he swung at the pitch baseball. And he dented the Lombardi job. The one where they beat the falcons. I hope it's that one. Probably was God bless his to hope it is to the one that should be dented. You know when you have six of those. I guess you can be pretty. Yeah. Willy nilly willy nilly carefree devil-may-care with those trophies you overindulge sons of bitches kidding me. Yeah. Using it like if we had if we had we have one in Kansas City, if we had another one it would be laser protected behind a laser net constantly with a with a high voltage light shining on it. That's that's how I envisioned it sitting at the fifty at Arrowhead all year. You walk around in a circle teams. There's just a line of humans like ants coming into the stadium walking around at viewing it and walking out when they've you'd Stalin's body. It's never ending line of humans walking battle. Look put it on the fifty yard line. And you have to play around. I'm fine with that too. I'm I will discuss that option. Open open to talking about that. Yeah. The the NHL playoffs going on the NBA playoffs are going on. But we've got two months of those. So give me a break. I'm not gonna talk about. I hate him. Call and playoffs because it's not the play to me now the play offs and till you get down to the east finals in west finals and the finals, then it's more exciting. Well, then they're playing both into the core. Then they care..

"Yeah. So so I have a friend. Is in maroon five and they did the Super Bowl show last year. And somebody called me and said can you find out if I was like, no, I'm not going to do that. So not going to do. So I didn't. So no, I didn't even do that. But I I remember thinking that's oh, yeah. That's how people could probably circumnavigate the system a little bit on that. Yeah. But I just didn't wanna do it because these are friends, and I don't know just seemed gross in seem wrong and didn't do next year. If you know, the super if you don't mind sharing with me, you just you don't have say it out loud. Help me when fifty dollars. And it's really important right on the sidewalk. You re one of those little planes and flying around my neighborhood. I was in Florida last week as well. I was in Naples doing a show on Wednesday. And that was right after Tampa Bay got swept in the NHL playoffs, which was like shocking king and wept sweat the president's review went like the best team in the league all season. Nobody saw that coming. And why should I mean, how do you not show up for four games? Yeah. I mean, one of their best players was suspended for games three or four or maybe both for a high hit ahead hit that was just completely unnecessary. But there are clearly playing haphazardly because they were so worried about losing which they ended up doing anyway because they set themselves up for it. So I'm I'm going to Nashville tomorrow. And so really hope. Ping that the predators win tonight. So that they force game seven, and although it'd be the energy and tastic I would love being in cities within their teams are playing in the playoffs or or in a game seven or a Super Bowl or a playoff game or because the energy in the city is palpable. And if the if they win is so much fun so much. It's so much fun. I always thought if I was like ever had like crazy money. It was like a multi multi multimillionaire had a plane that I would always just wait to see what city won the SuperBowl. And Gillet we're flying a Boston where flying and just go to that city that night because it'll be so much fun. Just to be in the city when it's that kind of sports atmosphere, and especially in Nashville because Bridgestone arena is right on Broadway. It's like in the middle of the heart of the busiest part of town and the throw a whole party outside of people watching. Outside the arena and inside the arena and everyone's just so excited, and the predators are just such a fun team to watch anyway. And you know, when I feel my pilot their few years ago, then it was the head writer, and we had this other writer named Kevin skinny who wrote on the show, and he had this idea that we were going to try to do 'cause PK superman had just signed for signed with the predators. And he wanted to do it. He he we're going to have input on his predators uniform and go door to door since he was new in town and introduce himself as a predator. Everybody know he just moved there. I have to myself the predator. Just see what people did it was such a great bit. That's a great. That's a great PK was super into it. But his scheduled in allow for it, and we couldn't end up doing it. But one day. That fit with whoever moves there for sure you have to for sure. Yeah. Let's run through it. We're just going to go through some headlines. So people when you're when you're at the office people were talking sports, you don't feel like a total douche bag on. No anything. So the Seahawks. Have a quarterback is names. Russell wilson. He is not only great quarterback. He's a great human being. And he just reached a four year contract with the Seahawks for one hundred forty million making him the highest paid player in the NFL. Good for him. So I'm happy for him. Because like I said he is he is amazing on the field and off the field..

"I worked in a bag factory. It was the summer before my freshman year in college. And you know, anyway, it was it was awful. It was the worst. But I gave this his car broke down after work. So I gave them a ride home, and we pull up to he might have stop it here. Real quick. I just want go grab something. And then my my apartment's just up the road for sure no problem. So stop, and I'm sitting in the car he gets out goes knocks on the door. They're having this conversation. He comes back, and he's all pissed and I'm like what's wrong because I won't let me anything's. You're a cop. Before college. Yeah. The parents. Well, so it's just something that's been with me for a long time. How many cops have you played in movies several several? Well, let's see the movie, let's be cops. The other guys the other guys hangover. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. There's a couple. Yeah. And just life just parallelly get into certain departments people that have that little blue light. And they would put it in their car like just as jokes and stuff like a federal offence. Their accused in my high school had their cars outfitted with the lights and the grills and stuff and the PA systems, and they'd pull people over just screw with them. But speaking four twenty it'd be a great video of it is put rob and full uniform and send him down to the Venice boardwalk, and I'm just go. Hey and super stone guys during to realize that the guy from twenty street like what the hell's going on like that would be really video content. In california. Like, I don't think anybody like just cares. I mean, I know fence. No, I agree with you. But I think of people of the right age if your high enough, and you're my or older you you'd have to think about that for a second. You're you're not past it. It would be a good mind scramble. I'd like to dress up as Buford t Justice from smokey and the bandit and be like a southern like a Georgia sheriff come all the hail look house coming out and just really give them the old twang twang, but having a total sheriff's outfit. Doing what you call it. The old twang twenty. Now. Okay. How running a bow with no clothes on? He also sound like that rooster the rooster cartoons. Heartland going Comey. Oh, boy, I wanna talk to you. Why you go out in that marijuana? Stick. The marijuana grass. Yeah. So four twenty this weekend. And I know I'm looking around the room here and high. Everybody was high y'all hippies hippies out there partying with the grand. I don't know how you do. It was actually in San Francisco and four twenty. And now, it makes a lot more sense. That whole town had to be just as a kite. Yeah. I had a show at this place called piano fight in San Francisco, and it's really cool venue. But I didn't realize it's in the tenderloin, which I guess is like. Tenderloin? Yeah. Which already sound like a section of town. Yes. Okay. Tender the tenderloin section and I was walking from bar to the venue, which was like, three blocks. And I was like scared for my life. I'm never nervous anywhere. And I was like who there's just a lot of riffraff happening. The grosses. No just about me buy shoes out of their car. That was more that you know, like, you know, you don't you had pretty cute shoes on. But apparently where we called those shoes. Need us is eleven Airmax their car. And then when I got there. I was like, ooh, it's a little in the guy goes first time at the tenderloin, and I go. Oh, that's where I am. Okay. Make sense. Let's just a section of San Fran. "Twang or again, everybody real quick. I don't want to belabor it. But the airport is nutter butters. It's like Alexis in the middle of a doll store. It's crazy. So get there early my friend. Lisa. She goes airport all the time. She said she's never seen like this. So the lines lex the terminal to what did you say the lines? Normally that's the fast terminal rate. The lines are over the bridge and into the parking ramp right over the river through the woods to grandmother's house. We go. Crazy. So be careful. Get there early. You might have heard the promo a few minutes ago. Let's let's let's take a moment. You three you to us three all of you listening friends. You all of you are invisible friends. Let's take a moment and talk about Donna mills gate because be Arthur I gave her a grief yesterday. I don't know when it was a couple of days ago. Where the anniversary's coming up. And when is the next Wednesday. A you tape the promo and I remember. Getting ready to cover the sags again. So there. Awards. And if you remember last year, if you're new to our station, I won't go through the whole thing. But Lori and Julia got to Hollywood they like to go to the hobnob tried to go to the hop places and try to star watch and they went to the bar one night, and they took a picture with Donna mills and sat with her at her booth. They talked. And then that night. Julia sent me a text message in the middle of the night. Oh my goodness. Jason. Does she knows that? I love knots landing. I liked the prime time soaps of the eighties. So she knew that. I would appreciate it. Why I noticed I didn't pay much attention to the picture over the weekend. Admittedly. She sent it on a Friday. And I remember I didn't really look at it much over the weekend. And then Monday morning, we come back on the air. And I'll never forget this. Our very last segment on that Monday. I I was just tooling around with my phone, and I saw that text. And I'm like, you know, I'm gonna take it, and I'm gonna I'm gonna look this. Yeah. I'll tell you posted on social media by then too. So we all saw there too. Yeah. So I look at the picture, and I'm like good crime any nibbles. Not Donna mills. No. That is not Donna mills Abby fare gate. Ewing sumner. It's not. And so I told on air I said, I couldn't tell you what just happened. And then we'll in the store, and thus it began and it lasted for a month. Because oh, kind of like my cough. It lasted for a month because the girls were steadfast. In their result. They were steadfast in their experience that they met Donna mills. Yeah. So then we included all of you. Because then we re posted the picture with side by sides of the real, Donna mills, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. They were not deterred at all. And actually the longer this went on and the more. We flapped are gums about it. Mainly me, the more irritated the girls. Got. And the more irritated. Some of you. And then we got a hold of Donna mills is folks, and I found out her representation and I emailed them about the shenanigans. And I said, here's what's happening. At our radio station. And would you like to participate or at the very least could you confirm or deny that Huey and Louie really didn't meet Donald mills, so Donna immediately said yes that she would lie. She would like to participate because she thought this was hysterical. And and then she called in and revealed live on the air. Oh that there is no way in hell that the girls met her. But that was not done. A mill wasn't a picture of her. And she was there. Some random woman. Her name was Lisa Goldberg or something that was not Donna mills. So an even in that moment. Julia couldn't believe it. And it led to just I mean, the entire staff screamed when Donna finally revealed it we were all here. Gosh. It was hysterical audio is so funny so on Wednesday to hear you guys recap and give some behind the scenes. Happenings. That's gonna be so fun. Yeah. We're going to be we're going to be airing it on our show on Wednesday. And like I said, we'll we'll tell you some of the behind it. And we we, you know, you guys, especially our show, we told you some of the behind the scenes some funny stuff and not and we tell you everything some not so funny stuff. That's a it's all in this the way I began it I joked to be Arthur Arthur, call Michelle. Anniversary and we're going to plan on show. Oh. Mind if we replay on that's because it was actually the beginning of a really rough four months for me because I'll tell you all about it on Wednesday. That'll be the day. But it what people took it some people took it. So seriously, some hardcore low Jay defenders that they thought that I was being incredibly mean to the girls. And I I I'm not joking when I say never received the amount of hateful emails and feedback as I did during that month. It was so bizarre to me because I'm like it is a bit. So you'll hear all about that starting on you'll hear all about that on Wednesday. But now, I look back on it. And I just think of the fun. I just think of the we made that fun promo and then Donna calling in kind of wash away the haters. But. Was so that was the most fun because every day we had an update every there was something else that the girls went off on because they were Don, right? They got they weren't the longer. This went on the more confident. They got they were steadfast. And they're like you don't understand we saw in person we talked to her for twenty minutes. She was so nice. We sat right next to her and booth with her husband. It was Donna mills. And how dare you question us. Yeah. Why would why would this woman talk to us about knots landing? If she wasn't done Mel fodder drinks was half in the bag. Yeah. I thought it was funny. So she could tell everybody for years how to women from Minnesota thought she was Donna mills Goldberg wanted a free drink. That's why she bought to you. Oh my gosh. It's fine. All had times where we thought it was somebody else, you know. It's like is that Ellen or whatever. Oh, it just I'm telling you it was that day was all worth it. Because that finale day when Donna was so sweet that day when she called in and my goodness. Who and the look on Julius face Giulio still didn't believe in that moment was almost irritated. No. No, no, you're lying. You weren't there. Thomas like know, how many in Portuguese how many ways? Wasn't me lady. Anyway. So that's Wednesday Wednesday morning on our show. Don't miss it. It's coming up on seven forty three. We're going to take a break, and we will be back after these words, Laurie and Julia, according to merriam Webster head pin bully. Yeah. It's actually.

"In a cross like is it it's imagine single people are having sex, but are married people married. Young people having less sex too. Or is this from probably a singles problem? Well, they're two parts to that. I mean, the short answer is one big cause of what we're seeing is that fewer people who are under thirty five are living with a spouse or a partner and for all the people like to joke about Mary people not having sex anymore. If you live with a sexual partner, you are just going to have more sex over the course of the year than somebody who doesn't a third of of people under thirty five or living adults under thirty five. I should say are living with. A parent. That's, you know, higher than it's been in a very long time, and it's actually more common than any other living arrangements. So obviously, if you're not living with a partner more, so if you're living with your parents, this is going to have an effect on your sex life. But twang as research does suggest that even people who are in relationships are having sex last across most generational groups, and that sort of raises the question of what may be going on to make even sort of long-term couples compared to their predecessors be physically intimate less. So a lot of parents, ministers educators will probably see this decline in young people hooking up having sex a good thing because you know, there's a decrease in teen pregnancy rates, which is a good thing. People have been we've been working on that since you know, the fifties, basically STD's or down. But as you said like this this whole idea of people having sex it. It speaks to a larger issue just about how humans are relating today. And maybe people having less sex. Can indicate that something below you know, that is going on that's causing people to have less ex-. What's going on there? You think? Yeah. So actually wanna pause and just linger on the first part of what you said, which is key. And I don't want that to be lost in all of this. The fact that teenage teenage pregnancy rate is a third of what it was a third of what it was in the early nineties is a remarkable and good development. I mean, that's terrific. And there are other parts of this. That are really good as well. Some of which I talk about in the piece in some of which I don't more people now are likely than in the past to say that their first sexual experience whenever it happened was wanted and welcome about as terrific. So they're really I, you know, I don't see that. There's any rush you not that. I'm decrying the sort of delay teenagers having sex or young adults having sex. But what I m curious about is what's causing this..

And when when Vince hired me he said, I want you to replace me. I want you be the guy to come in and do Saturday night's main event, I want you to be our lead announcer. So that's what I envisioned for you. And then I think in Bruce Prichard was my boss at that time. But he kind of fell out of favor because I did summer slam. I did not do the survivor series. They guerrilla back in there to do survivor series because that's back when they had to four pay per views. So I did summer slam of eighty nine. We were in Orlando Florida, and we had scheduled a noon production meeting in Orlando at the at the old Orlando arena and Vince was late and he had been down in Boca. He and his family and he's down in Boca. Having a great weekend. They were laid the production meetings beginning at one thirty or two o'clock. And I never will forget he walked in. He sit down to the table. And he he said I don't want to do this today. Look to me said you got your tux. I said, yes, sir. He said you're doing play by play with Jesse. So just because he had such a such a bang-up weekend at Boca, right? He didn't wanna do the commentary. So I did the commentary for the Royal rumble and that began the HOGAN warrior angled kind of leading to wrestlemainia six. Oh, and you're the voice. I forgot about that. Yeah. I was like working with Jesse. Great. Just he's still probably. Well, you had we'll talk about the brain to. Yeah. Probably sure. Best color commentators of all time. I've been fortunate. Yeah. Working with both of them as almost there straight men runaways. I was really starstruck with both of them. And especially Jesse because I had watched Saturday night's main event, and what some of the stuff that he did. And I just felt really starstruck. You know, working with him. And he was almost the the prototype for the the he'll calm. Oh, yeah. That they still try and do to this day. Exactly. He he was he was the man he he apps absolutely was. And you you go back, and I when I worked for Vince, I had a chance to do this work going back in the library and looking at the old Saturday night's main event that he that was some classic great stuff that they did back then so being able to work with him..

"Right. What is your keep it? Mike keep it is also white we wearing thank you. Getting my keeping his false equivalences. Feels especially like relevant, given, you know, the bombing attempts or the assassinate that is a real world where the assassination attempt via mail mobbing to all these various political figures and then this Pittsburgh shooting and the Kroger shooting. That's the thing. That's not getting reported. A man sought out of black church in Louisville Kentucky get in and went to a Kroger and shot to elderly black people because these people are always cowards and didn't shoot a white person who was armed with a gun. I have questions about why that white person didn't shoot that man when he was walking by. But that white I don't even know this terrorist name, but he said, why shoot rights, which is why he didn't shoot the way prince is definitely a hate crime. Even though the twisted they do. Everybody. Race crime. That is what black on black crime is a redundancy. Crime is what that is. But my my frustration is this lack of nuance that sort of is perpetuated by people online, but also engaged with actively strategy on the part of political figures, like Mitch McConnell and company where or Lindsey Graham, even where they act as if the the turtle. He's so so rude with their southern accent Jeff Sessions and Lindsey Graham sassy would've twang. I would says Trent Lott finishing school. These Keebler cottage. And and you know, Cory Booker somebody saying we fight back. There's a there's a Gulf in between the language in terms of you know, like conservatism is about stoking fears and making people anxious and making people reactive, and when that reactive thing is not just voting, but, you know, telling people to show up arm to make sure other people can't vote, and then tongue punch rallies and decided that people are the enemy of the American people that language is not the same aggressively. I got twenty minutes of free time at two in the afternoon on a Monday praise. Greg that Brian didn't figure it out. Neither one of them had any clue whatsoever. It was amazing. But Mason was so offended that I said he left the game early that He he just. just. Don. Yeah. Because he's so in his time line right now look at by gram. Posted. Brian Brian says hearing just texting me hearing it again, I'm embarrassed. We didn't know it was you. Your accent work is spotty at work done. You cabinets key? All right. So I want to get to the Lakers. But something happened at the Rams game on Sunday that I want to ask you guys about because it it has just a development has just happened that that affects what happened at the end of the ram game. I'll explain it next. Ben lines information. I'm John Ireland ESPN LA. All right, Mason and Ireland show like doing this show. Ben Lyons is information. Did you watch the ram game thin? I did watch the Rams put on a show on Sunday. What people are still talking about. What time Montgomery the Packers did at the end of that game with a little over two minutes to go Montgomery was told to take me and a touchback on the kickoff that would have given Aaron Rodgers the ball with the pack down by to only needing a field goal to win. There's two oh six left on the clock. The reason the Green Bay coaches wanted Montgomery to take an he was twofold, one with two six to go it protected the. Clock. So he got you got an extra time out with the two minute warning Rogers, I play automatically. He could you could use the middle of the field because the clock was gonna stop anyway for the two minute warning. And Secondly, it guaranteed Rogers would get the ball, which is really good at. And all you needed was a field goal. And they have Mason. Crosby a decent kicker. He probably needed to get to the other thirty five. But I think in that situation. It's a coin flip who wins the game. It's Aaron Rodgers best player of a generation at that position. And you gotta give them a shot. Okay. Instead Montgomery inexplicably. Brought the kick out. Fumbled. It gave the ball back to the Rams LA. Ran out the clock won the game twenty nine twenty seven. So here's my question. I was gonna do some fasttrack. But something just happens. I'm doing it. Now. Let's say you run the Packers. What would you do with Montgomery? I mean, obviously, he's he's a Stanford guy. He's been part of your team for a long time you draft him as wide receiver. He actually worked as a running back for you past couple of years when you had running back injuries. So he's done a lot for you. But that's a pretty unforgivable mistake. What would you do with them? Just bench him punish him just say. Hey, mistakes happen. What would you do? Look, clearly, they don't know what to do with him, which I guess you said they drafted him at one position that trying to get them into play another position. The fact he's even returning punts says that they don't know what to do with him coughs in this case. And and look you gotta finish out the stretch with what you got. But he's clearly not part of your future. You gotta move them or get done with them the great low Judah with him. I'd get rid of him..

So it's like, I'm at this point now, do I wanna do like a forty minute run to really grind and get all these cells and then just get lit up when I'm trying to get into new parts of the game. Like how fun is that some waiting for that back half of the game to click. 'cause I'm not quite there. I think I let I don't mean this to be a humble brag, but I think I let skill and or getting. I was good at carry me further and the game, then I should be. And now I'm kind of hitting a little bit of difficulty curve or I need to learn a different load out, but I'm so committed to the weapons. I'm using that. I haven't learned how to you know, parlay these enemies, weaknesses that facing now. Yeah, it's interesting. You sort of get yourself into a rhythm of a certain path through the early content and you. I'm not saying you telling me, I tend to thing where you. Repeat the same. It's like, let's say you, you're trying to memorize something and you say the first two pages of thing, and then you get stuck on the third and then you go back to the beginning to the first two, or would you like writing your first screenplay? And you keep rewriting the first bit and then you add an extra page and then you read it through and you re-read the the first bit. Again, the second your that I like little bit is going to be really good because you keep doing it over and over and over again and the latter half which you do rarely is takes longer to get right. And I feel like that's the same phenomenon here is you get so good on those first few areas because they're so familiar because you keep doing them over and over again. And it takes so much longer to get to the latter half and get good at those areas because right. And even though the first part is procedural in isn't exactly the same layout? No, the enemy types and know how to I'm comfortable defeating them. I know what I wanna load up to go take on the concierge and I know my way up the tower and. Kind of how I wanna play those sections of the game. But yet it's hard. I'm a little a little frustrated with with myself and with the game right now. 'cause it's just any other game right one, a non rogue. Like you get to the hard boss and guacamole too, or whatever, or heart section, and you can just reload that section in here as even as well versed, as I am in the early parts of the game, it's still twenty minutes. It's like, do play this game for twenty minutes to get your butt handed to you on minute twenty one. And I haven't quite found the joy in that yet. But I think I'll take a little break here next week with another game that's coming out on PlayStation. And then I'll dive back in. All right, Christian. What is on your playlists? I wanna talk about is far cry, five, the DLC update it is dead living. Zombies came out in the third and final thing of kind of the season pass or was been planned and man. I really like these deal sees that they're not as rich as the main game, but in terms of little encapsulated experiences within the world, they're really cool. And this one takes the kind of left for dead approach where there are multiple chapters that are all kind of standalone playthrough experiences that lead me to one of my annoyances with it..
