"And that's it says let's is ready to go in the parking lot And I go what about? How does this work for like you know? Pay Your what. I'M SUPPOSED TO BE THE NEXT MORNING. Like he goes he goes. We'll talk to your agent about it. I'm like I don't know I still book. Who might my name? Is this point. The guy like at this point like this guy is not in this business. Doesn't what's going on so someone else from that company or from the production calls me a woman and she's like yes. We just WanNa make sure you know that you're still in where need to be on schedule. Filming comes here. Yeah I'm good. So he comes like it's the Friday before the it's the day before what so Sunday night or whatever it is twenty minutes they call me. They call me they go. He goes good news bad news. The good news is you. Don't have to shave your head. The bad news is we cut. You're seeing so actually go in there but it was funny because I still ended up meeting stunt director. I still ended up meeting the rocks. Stun double which I was like at work. Yeah yeah which I was like. Rock doesn't have a stunt double no one looks like the rock and his mother fucker walks in like. Oh Hey the rock coming over at bad eyesight is done double bits. You're supposed to try and meet the Rock. I did read the right. He faced shit out of me. Yeah Yeah so. I think the last episode. You're talking about people that pay for like a backstage experience. Oh yeah sure. So a couple watch terms out the director of that hard with their last week military discount and everything so there was a Stephen Merchant was the director of the movie. All these names and I fucking Nick. Frost was in the movie and stuff. I Don British guys Shaun of the dead. Do the fact and a hot comb is Stephen. Works Rick Buddy. There on this one was shooting scene but yeah he was like the coach movie or something. So what does your password know but boy you stood in line. I saw common. You stood in line to say hi to the row. Yeah the there's like four people I was GONNA say. Hey Man Nice to meet you. Suppose like rock bottom for whatever and I am the last I looks to me. Walk Straight the fuck off. I'm pretty sure the whole catering room Saudi was like this. Do Bruni. Happy this go real life whole on on air hundred wants to chime in all the extra work. The but as Devon ever German SUPLEX came. Bless you oh. Devin couldn't be true. Tuck Chin well. That's because it doesn't get light. I gave my. I gave him eight. She's Christ gave them a lot of that here all right he hasn't been able to. Here's one of the craziest thing so I've been a lot of big names in there. I I've been professional wrestling for six years a little over six years and I have done some things that I met people and that I never thought I would. I would tell right now. We're we'RE GOING TO FOCUS. We'll go kane because you are of you called me. Texted me or something like hey we got something going on and I was like what and you were like. Cain Velasquez come train with us and I was like. I don't give a fuck what you say right now. I'm his training partner right now that I told you there's nothing you can say right. The burgers us like a kid. I gotTA stretch yeah. Verdict came Velazquez. And I said never heard of him. But how did that come about so? Obviously you know the down we trade down here and everything like that. That's a domino junior and then Obviously is dead is the Ray Ray came in here in training and everything like that and then he pulled me aside. He goes on I think the Fed wanted K to get a little bit more working and then raise. The one said I've got the perfect place and So came Came in from San Jose and everything like that and had had an private Arbitrating is something like that. And that's when I hit hundred G. will then one hobson a couple of other people because also knew that the chronicle was going to be happening. So that all kind of came about and everything like that from From Ray Trust in me interested in the school. Missile how it all came about so when I hunter I got paired up pretty well. Cain yet day because you guys were the biggest guy. You Ain't no bronx you know but I remember Ray was like hey. Can you do a little six minute match with Kane? And of course I can't of course. And he were you so back okay. So Rai- raised in the ring with as as the referendum and I'm circling with Cain Velasquez. And I'm just thinking I'm just thinking in my head like what the doing right now. I watch this guy kick the shit out abruptly. I watch this guy kick the shit out of ministerial gail. I watch this Guy Brockton. Not just you did what he smoked for. I remember miss. It's sports debt. So he's he's that scar that brock has on his face. That's from came. I don't remember that everybody drunk yet. He destroyed but he. Oh my God. I'm circling Cain Velasquez. Right now and also he's circling you. Mother fuckers I'm circuit and blood and waterfowl and also ray the way that ray wants came to fight live more shoot style. So that's another reason. Why rebranding areas. Because he wanted me to show Cain the shoe sale with the the the work the work yet. Everything like that so he raised is kind of like telling US stuff like two and ray says like Mike shooting or something like that for the double-leg or go behind and right then. Cain throws a high kick ass and I was like whole leave. I saw obviously didn't throw it four-speed but he threw it like pretty good. As when Cain Velasquez was an emmy firing a champion champion two times skew. Look just throwing a high kick at medium speed is fast if hobby because it almost clip market my said. I.

"They were for that in their subtly unfortunately as long as anymore disney was great the days for them years ago yes so i do work for disney. I am not a representative of disney on this podcast but there was a ah no gun jumping so captain marvel and captain america the first avenger was still a paramount movie so disney could not work on that paramount movie be but because i was in a partnership marketing where we did ad sales and other things we could work on a paramount movie as kind of the executive arm that was kind of once wants removed so we went there with the paramount executives to beverly hilton like you said they read out a ballroom of the beverly hilton they have the actual shield there there and then just <hes> backdrops with awesome graphics on it and we had some <hes> disney folks interviewing chris evans and then it just went from there but yeah it's amazing to mark things and i think we still haven't hanging in the in the closet there. That's awesome. I love that jam in the green room. You mentioned a few things things about an aircraft carrier. Yes under under the the the title of be careful what you raise your hand for <hes> <hes> don't say yes immediately be wait until they finish their sentence. I had worked on the triple x. d._v._d. Eighty that rob cohen had directed and a great guy. I mean just really got along with rob and love working for him on his films for a little bit of time and this this he was doing a film called stealth which was a sony project and same same clamp that had <hes> done with me and and the film the the entire film was shot with the exception of the entire film was shot in australia. I remember correctly and we had done all this great stuff with rob for the triple x. d._v._d. So he wanted to duplicate down on stealth and <hes> so we had a guy embedded with him and and you know i went to australia a couple of times to do interviews and shoot some some behind the scenes footage and then there was another another crew in the same company that was doing the marketing side of it just just doing the behind the scenes and the rap the production and they come back and then i get i get an email from the studio saying hey roots hold these days and i go okay and then they said okay. It's gonna be in hawaii so can you can you bring todd are embedded embedded cameraman and pick up a sound hawaii so we start googling soundmen in hawaii trying to find out who would do that kind of thing and and flew out to my first visit hawaii ever ever. We flew out to whatever honolulu. I think we're pearl. Harbor is correct correct. Yeah who fly out to honolulu in this really tropical cool hotel with his parakeets parakeets and parrots and two cans and vegetate was like i'd never seen i was like wow this is amazing and we get it the next morning we have breakfast and we meet in the lobby and there's a van to take all of us in there and we're all high five and hadn't seen each other in a while because movie had wrapped and we would go really go in depth rather we would go to scoring bring sessions and we would be in you know <hes> fully set usually places that behind the scenes cameras don't always go. He really wanted people to know the experience of what he went through and so we get on this van and they drive south for harboring. The driver is a is a local driver is if you look at that building over to your left as he's driving like on the tarmac as well if you look at the building of the beholder that's from a japanese zeros when they came in strafed during world war two that building's been here since world war two and over there. There's a building that has a couple of big big holes in those are all machine guns remote. I'm like oh my god. That was ages ago. Wow so we're standing. At this thing and there's you know i'm like where's what what are we doing. Why are we at the airport and the guy said look shut mike yeah but i mean assume it's like doc somewhere right now. The ships ships two hundred miles out to sea. We're gonna take a little skiff out there. I mean like a little fishing boat and he goes no. We're going to go on a plane so it took about three clicks before i realized well well if we're going to go on a plane to land on an aircraft carrier off started flops wedding and i was like i don't fly i i can't go and my cairns look like are you nuts and incomes. I mean literally. If you just had the music it would have been a teaching ginger. Sky turns a corner and he's in the jumpsuit suit. He's got the spiked hair. He's got the mirrored sunglasses on. He's he's totally cut and his co. His code name was foul and i'm like it was it was is basically the top gun just walked in and i'm like so he started chat me but he's he's eating like a twelve inch hoagie. I mean he's like just and i'm i've got it is i don't know thirty two ounce bottle of water trying to keep my throat from drying out and find the plane lands and it's this modified whatever they call it a cod flight c. o. d. and again i don't know what that acronym is for but it's basically like off and it has limited range but it takes off and brings v._i._p.'s and like if people are really sick they get him off the boat to get them to the nearest hospital or if if some high ranking officials coming in on this plane is a bunch of guys from movie land right right and so we get in there and the guy goes all right and meanwhile this is one of those planes were the bottom just drops and you walk up the ramp and you and we've got our you know oh yeah yea luggage and whatnot and they're like i stole it right. There and these guys are like like they're telling us like okay <hes> and so you gotta wear float coat and afloat coat is a deflated vast vest but when you hit the water in the saltwater ignites it and it puffs up and then you've got a cranial cap on you've got these deadening earphones you've got goggles on and you're in a five five point harness and this plane is facing backwards so the cockpit is in front of me. I'm back into the cockpit and so the guys like i listen in and and because you can't hear anything and doing these and meanwhile imagine getting on a southwest airlines and all the plastic that covers up all the vents and the lights it's all that's gone all the plastic around the windows gone. If you see this this this plane's made of aluminum foil. I mean look there's a little right there. I i can feel and freaking out and and and the grip next to me just sits down the seat and it's one of these guys i admire. He just falls asleep. I mean he was asleep for like two hours. By how does he do that so h- basically vow my my buddy so next green and you know still finish sandwich. Hey thumbs up thumbs up because you can't hear anything and these guys do these things where they wave their hands in the lake. Well we're taking off. We're taking off so you know. Flight is going along smooth and i'm i'm drinking water and all of a sudden i hear who and and the guys in the back don't move and so the back of the front the back of the plane. I guess it was but it seemed i was facing looking at them so they were in front of me and the guy next to me go tasks me on the helmet down and he goes all right. I screaming. He takes his left hand and he puts it out. This is the ship okay. We're going to have to come all the way around fly around the ship and then we're going to go in like that. You got that you got that and i stewart flight attendant. No no no snacks nothing and so. I'm like okay now. I'm kind of bent over because i've had to go to the bathroom now for like forty forty minutes because i drank all that water and all of a sudden i hear this again we're slow go to dinner bitter and like what is did her and and and these guys outed and he taps hidden he goes forget what i said. The ship has turned going straight and brothers straight in and i'm like oh god i'm pulling my five point harness down and i'm tucking chin when you hit that when you hit that cable the your body stops the plane stops put the fluid in your body goes far to the edge of your face as possible before actually shooting out and then we turn the plane and the the tail goes down and all i see is the bow of the ship going up in the ocean and all the guys with the different colored shirts shirts guys and gals have different colored shirts. They're like hey forget. Your luggage. Goes go come behind. This is a fourteen and they gotta get this plane. So what what they do is a former human wall on either side so guys like me don't stumble off the edge of the aircraft carrier and so the next thing i'm standing in the captain's quarters orders disguise walking around with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and everybody's talking to robin roberts telling everybody with the movies why we're shooting this thing and this is the the nimitz by the way okay okay. I was gonna ask what ship it was amazing amazing. I mean everybody should do this once and then never have to do it again but we woke up the next morning morning and it was literally the top gun moment. We literally came up on the elevator. They brought all the i'll say like standing there like yeah and and and so it was like you know that scene when it comes up we come up and then i said to the guy was asking what's the float coat your thing and he goes well. You know it because a occasionally guys get blown off the deck. They saw what happened. He goes well when you hit the water. You pretty much dead dead because it's like a sixty foot fall but he said the photo code allows us to find you in the water so that's cool right now. Mike shoot the scene which which was an added scene which was a burial at sea for jamie fox's character and i was talking to these two young kids. This is what i love about the armed forces and i can't can't say enough about the respect that we should always show to folks that have represented and protect this country. <hes> these two kids that were both nineteen were medics and they were running around the whole day making assure everybody had sunscreen on and i said so <hes> so when you guys go back and he goes. What do you mean. I said when you go back to hawaii the are we going back away. At the end of the day or he goes no sir we are. We we're going to iraq. We will be gone for three months. We're going to go to we're deployed to iraq and i was like wow this guy's going and this. I forget what year this was late. Maybe maybe late nineties early two thousands maybe maybe early two thousand two thousand and three thousand four somebody that so there was a bunch of stuff going on out there and and they were amazing and i go what about that cod flight man has great haniyeh's pardon me sir and i'm like the tailhook and he goes no no sir we get on the ship in hawaii. We don't get off until we get to wherever the safe zone was for them to doxa doc so there on that ship for three months and just blew my mind and so <hes> so yeah to the next day we're we're traveling home and having all sorts of problems and the catapulted about this and the catapult that and you sit there and you are in there's only two windows on one on the left side. One of the right side and of course rob had the window seat and producer the other windows. It's all of us are in the dr and you hear this sound of this hydrog thing going and then a plane takes off but it's not you're playing but you're waiting and then eventually you hear the pilot. Go river order or gruber. I'm like i don't know what she said female pile. I don't know what she said but and then all of a sudden he's the guy start waving their arms and they sit down and strap in and that thing hits you you and when there's a ride i think at magic mountain in valencia here where it one loop. I think it just catapult you. It's literally the same thing as an aircraft carrier cannibals the one loop you go up to the top and then you come back down and do the reverse. I thought i was upset because the plane goes off the end of the ship and drops and then polls itself back up and you wanna talk about thirty five guys high five in each other and i have a certificate somewhere in the office that makes me an official tailhook or for the u._s. Nimitz that's amazing and you know there's tons of stories like this is that i was trying to tell my daughters is don't be afraid to raise your hand. I mean you know obviously be cautious and be skeptical sometimes but the opportunities that the film industry opens up opens doors for you she would never be in is <hes> is greatest adisu industry in the world. I think because of just the things that you get to see and do because it's entertainment well in one of the things that i've recently watched and that's kind of you know close to what i've done and i mean maybe not to the effect of this is <hes> you know ten. I've talked about it as free solo love that movie which the guy free solo d- el capitan without any protection no ropes no harnesses no none of that and you're looking at like all these film guys camera guys in directors and all this you know director photography and all this stuff and they're all on the side of l. cap filming this guy climb just with no protection you know and all this stuff and it's just it goes right into what you're saying like. The film industry allows you to get into that kind of stuff to you know be able to shoot film and capture imagery that i mean you know. Only you could do if you were doing it..

"Looking at it for a long time. And so when I came upon this simple phrase, why needy is creepy. It was like bingo. I all of a sudden I got exactly how I been feeling for a long time. So where are you need? This is what I'm gonna ask you to think about where do you feel needy in your life? Are you in need of? Let's put it that way. Are where are you in need of are you in need of more money or a better job are you in need of a new relationship or unimproved relationship where? Where are you looking to the outside for validating or for a helping hand where do you feel needy? And then how does it make you feel? How does needing make you feel and I'm not gonna I'm not gonna go here right unit have to put it into words. How does needy? Make you feel in your body. Like, I said before for me needy feels immediately I get small immediately. I feel my throat close or my stomach clench. Immediately. I go into this other pattern of being than I am right now. When I feel abundant when I feel confident and clear and stable, I feel bigger right? Just like Amy Cuddy talks about her Ted talk about power positions when we feel needy. We do get small physically. So how do you feel when you feel needy? This is really important because it's happening already in your life. There are times throughout the day. Perhaps when you're you're you feel less than right? So many people I talk to including myself. I we struggle with the less than not worthy enough, and it starts physically. So over the course of our life. We start to accumulate physical patterns, and this is something I see as a as yoga teacher as movement teacher. We accumulate physical patterns that some of them are really helpful. Right. Just like that Amy Cuddy power woman wonder woman, right? When you put your hand on your. Hips, new open, your chests, and you this is a powerful movement pattern that if we took it for two minutes or more. We'd actually start to feel more powerful. The on the flip side, we have these movement patterns that we go into when we feel small when we play small when we play when we're in this needy needy zone. So what does that feel like for you for me? It's small small clenched gut clinched gut tight throat, right? Maybe. My eyes like I don't even see as well. Right. And I am I heart races. So I'm going to give you an example. I had a phone call last June. It was a it was an Email introduction to somebody that I really respect as a he's a therapist or he's a psychologist who works with sports teams. He has a podcast out. And I really respect him. And we were brought together through some mutual connections. And so I had a fifteen minute call with this guy. I can't even say his name because it makes me it makes me tighten up even thinking about this call. There's no reason for me to feel small with with this gentleman. Right. We have so many similar interests similar friends yet. I got a call, and I was like a different person. I was a completely different person. My voice got. Squeaky. Hey janie. We got some friends on here. Mitch is here a Mitch and Lawrence. Thanks for joining me. Mike, my voice got squeaky. And I started speaking really really fast. And even as the phone call was happening. I was watching myself like who are you who what is happening? And I started saying stuff that was not to not feel like me I asked like I made a pretty bold ask that that. He interview me on his podcast to good seines. Caceres the words came out a like, no, no Honey as not what you should have done. So anyway, I'm just being honest with you, the whole call was a flop in my opinion. Now, he probably hopefully does he remember it for me. It was like a pigmy of needy. I felt creepy right? Is it was happening? I felt creepy. So I learned and I learned in looked at it. And I thought about it. I was like, you know, I really didn't need anything from him. I was just looking to make a connection and so since that time last June. So this is now seven eight months, I've really started to look at how it feels to be in need of somebody else giving the approval and I recognized. It's it's not a nice feeling. So again back to you. What are you in need of like write it down? This is really helpful. What are you in need of in life, who would you seeking approval from an why? Okay. Just admitting to yourself I need so and so two like me or I need to have when I post a picture on Instagram. I need to have so many likes whatever, right. It could be a simple as that. Or I really need my superior. The you know, this client to like me. So I can get more business be honest with what you're in need of want to start to notice what needy feels like in your body. It probably has a specific movement patter. Or physical patter such as heart race or clench or throat clench or physically crossing your arms or cowering or tucking chin. Starting to know what the movement pattern feels like then gives you the power to start changing those movement patterns, catching them immediately. I'll tell you have you know, if I have the chance to speak to this gentleman again, which I hope to do so soon min approach completely differently which brings me to my third and final point when you're approaching situations where you know, you're gonna be in need of. Prime your systems. I'm big into priming priming the nervous system. Or does this meet when we are stable and balanced when our nervous system are automatic nervous system is in a balanced state, meaning not too stressed and not too relaxed where hummingbird right down the center when we feel balanced in clear and stable like that we're able to navigate in a way that's more open and clear and confident. Priming your system. In other words, make sure your stable in clear before you take the phone call. Make sure you've done something to help you be grounded and steady before you go into the meeting or board before you post, whatever you need to post take whatever chance rescue needs to take. Priming yourself before your put yourself out there. So in yoga terms, we call this stability before mobility right being steady before you take action before you leap had you prime simple. Simplest thing is to breathe I five deep breaths, one of my many wins. I call it. Stop take five take five deep. Coherent, breaths, set. Your inhale exhale or even in deep will help your Yuda shift into a more stable state move your body. Sometimes just getting out of your away. You know, shaking your hands doing a little jog to a couple of squats you getting the juices flowing in your body or even a full walk can help you again shift from that state of needing this or intimidation too stable clear calm. And then the last one is may be in silence. Sometimes being in quiet tuning in to your body tuning into your breath tuning into a song, whatever or being completely quiet. No music. No, nothing can help you again, prying your state, so just to close this all out needy is creepy. I may be agree. Maybe don't I know for me. I feel like I can't stand it when I feel needy anymore. So immediately I need to shift that the way to start shifting to notice. What you in need of really, what are you in need of what do you need from the outside? We have so many of the resources that we need already within get to know, what your need of get to know what it feels like internally physically. What is it when you start grasping and saying those silly things or feeling authentic? And then third prime your system change your state before you put yourself out there in a way that is challenging. So I hope this is helpful all thank you for joining me and tune in next time, I'll be throwing out these lives gonna move this over to YouTube, so others concede as well if you like to connect with me Keira at CARA, Bradley dot net and hope to connect with these soon. Thank you all have a great day.
