Donald Trump Deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for the Abraham Accords
"Question. I wanna ask you and you can go anywhere you want. But when people talk about the abraham accords. I'm not sure. I understand the significance of that. I haven't heard much about it. Tell us what's your perspective on that. What did trump achieve anything. Well the media did a terrible job covering most important storage game. Changing set of arab-israeli peace agreements in a generation re literally have not had an arab-israeli peace accord in twenty five years We've only had two prior egypt and jordan and president trump who was told by everybody in the peace industry in washington. You'll make the middle east worse you'll never make peace. You don't know what you're doing. You're a moron. And yet he accomplished four arab israeli peace agreements plus an agreement between kozo a muslim majority but non arab country and israel. It's extraordinary what trump pulled out and eric. You know this about me. In sixteen i was a sharp critic of trump. i would've considered myself a never-trumper. But i did would always know whether never-trumper did i said. Okay i have these deep concerns about him but let's let's pray for him every day and let's see how he how how he does. When i sat with them in the oval office a scene described in this book. I told him that. I'd been a never-trumper now eric. You know the man. How often does the term never-trumper get used with mr trump in his presence particularly in the oval office because judging from the looking at his is not that often. But i said to him. Listen i didn't believe your promises. I didn't trust you. But i've been stunned by what you've accomplished and i began rattling these things off. Let's just take a few right. The abraham accord had not yet happened. But we were trending there. It was clear to me that he was going to be able to pull these things off. Four arab-israeli agreements. Okay plus destroying the isis kathy. Liberating five million christians and muslims and yazidi from the reign of terror of isis taking out the isis terror. Commander abu bacher all-body taking out the top iranian terror general qasim sulamani ripping up the iran nuclear deal of imposing a maximum pressure sanctions campaign against iran. Moving the us embassy from talbot to jerusalem recognizing israel sovereign rights over the golan heights. And i could go on. And on as i do in enemies and is i believe. Trump deserves a nobel peace prize for the abraham accords. I doubt that he's going to get it. But if you don't win a nobel peace prize for creating peace with four arab countries and israel. What's the price
Pelosi's January 6 Committee Demands Phone Records From Republican Congressmen
"I want to talk about briefly. What Pelosi is having this commission she set up with all Democrats and to never Trumpers. On January 6th how they're subpoenaing. Members of Congress. Of the subpoenaing the former president of the United States. And Jonathan Turley has this right? In the Hill newspaper says he quotes this Chairman Bennie Thompson from Mississippi, a Democrat. And he says, We have quite an exhaustive list of people. I won't tell you who they are with those words. Thompson confirmed that a subpoena storm was about to be unleashed in the investigation of the January six ride in Congress, he writes. The targets would include Republican members, including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, representative Jim Jordan. We've already been told to preserve their phone records to be surrendered to the committee. The Democrats are reportedly trying to prove their prior claims that Republicans conspired or assisted insurrectionist quote unquote Even though the FBI reportedly found no evidence of a planned insurrection. But these are the dead enders. While all this is going on in the country, while all this is going on in Afghanistan, this is what the Democrats are doing because they're good at this. They're good at Stalinist old Soviet tactics. That's what they are. That's who they are.
Afghanistan Is Overrun With Terrorists Armed With American Weaponry
"Afghanistan has overrun by terrorists. Which is what we spent twenty years preventing and in the blink of an eye now afghanistan has overrun by terrorists again now. They've got billions and billions of dollars of our equipment are weaponry. Our helicopters are humvees. We have armed the taliban we. We left all the military equipment behind. I saw video last night of a helicopter with a body hanging from it now. It hasn't been corroborated yet. Verified of any doubt. These savages are capable of that. These are terrorists could they do. They kill they terrorize and we have capitulated with them. We have negotiated with them. We have cow to them. We have surrendered to them and everybody knows it. Every never-trumper who helped get trump defeated every media outlet that helped get trump defeated every republican who turned on trump and helped get him feed it. Every democrat who enthusiastically voted for this disgrace of a man and he is a disgrace. He's a disgrace. I saw guests last. Night on tucker. Carlson show who said i told my wife if he looks at his watch one more time. You can't honor men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives for this country for an hour. You gotta look at your watch where you have to go.
Never Trumpers Can't Have It Both Ways
"I saw never-trumpers on social media blasting joe biden. I'm thinking you can't have both ways. You're in bed with him. You made your bed now. Lie with them. You made your bed lying it. You tried to destroy a presidency that delivered a robust economy job creation. I shook my more secure border. A strong military respect for law and order. Refer the police but mean tweets. Well welcome to locum. To biden's america
Joe Biden Makes Jimmy Carter Look Like Winston Churchill
"Biden is making jimmy. carter looked like winston churchill. Jimmy carter was here. Roic by comparison during his abysmal presidency. This is unreal unreal and the media does not know what to do. The never trumpers don't know what to do. The never trumpers are literally scrambling to now. Condemn joe biden. You can't have it both ways. Powell you gotta you own this. You helped deliver. Joe biden to the american people you did everything to batter and destroy an eviscerate. The trump presidency. So you own it you break it you buy it you break it you buy it and we are broken right now.
MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace: '95 Percent of Americans Will Agree' With Biden Speech on Afghanistan
"Of the worst of the worst is a woman named nicole wallace over msnbc. She's like a never-trumper on steroids. I think she worked for bush. If i'm not mistaken back in the day. She's like the kind of republican wink wink. That msnbc likes and she is beyond vicious. And it's so weird because she's like such a such a pleasant demeanor and nice pleasant smile and you see her. And then what comes out of her mouth is pure vitriol. But she's such a sycophant and so to the democrats. What are george. Bush thinks of her didn't he wasn't he her wasn't he his communication secretary communications director. My gosh. hey mr president. What are you thinking nicole wallace. Now listen to what she said. This is this is rich. Here's a face and voice of sheer and utter desperation as they're playing the violins on the titanic of team biden. And is cnn is pounding away at by jake tapper and all of them are take dot lemon attacking by. They're all going. They're all running the scattering like rats off the sinking ship the sinking uss by but not nicole wallace. Check this out. Ninety five percent of the american people will agree with everything he just said. Ninety five percent of the press covering this white house will disagree and for an american president to finally be completely aligned with such an overwhelming majority of what the american people think about. Afghanistan is probably a tremendous relief to the american people on. Can't even i have a president who's finally aligned with the american people because nicole wallace. This angry vicious miserable trump hating biden loving msnbc host decided that ninety five percent of the american people agreed with biden speech yesterday.
Are We Getting the Full Truth on Afghanistan?
"You know, I just have to take exception to some of my friends on TV and radio. They just do. We were not at war in Afghanistan for 20 years. We had troops in Afghanistan. Our combat forces were removed in 2014. We were in a backup role for the most part. To the Afghan military. Intelligence. Air power. And we trained as the Wall Street Journal pointed out. The Afghan military. Basically fight is the American military does Coordination of troops with their power, Obviously no naval power necessary. And with Intelligence. It's a relatively big country. With all kinds of very difficult. Mountainous areas and so forth, so intelligence is crucial. When you pull out the air support, and you don't even tell The forces you're aligned with that you're doing that. When in the dark of night you remove your forces. From the major air base there that was actually quite protected. And you pull out your intel officials, your intel people. And when Biden says the Afghan army doesn't know how to fight in general, Keane says what they've lost between 50 and 70,000 of their own men. We're not getting all the truth here. Ladies and gentlemen, including from Libertarians, never Trumpers. Isolationists and so forth. Goal isn't to relitigate this. My goal is just to be honest about
Republicans Compare Viktor Orban to Communists
"Tucker. Carlson went to hungary last week. As many of you know. He was the speaker on saturday at a conference of young conservatives from all over europe especially eastern europe in depeche and i was the speaker of the day before and he has been an eye as well but he much more as attacked because he had viktor orban's on his program. There are bond is the head of of hungary so this is what they say. Give you an idea of the low level of the never-trumper world so these putative republicans condemned us for going. We are no different than leftists. Who went to communist countries. I know virtually all of these people. And i must tell you. My disappointment in moral idiocy is deep. You have no idea how. Well i know. Some of them and one for forty years to compare or monto communism. You can hate her. Bundle your life or are there Torture chambers and hungary like they weren't hungary and communism the that many people the communist killed in eastern europe is is he murdering people in in hungary. How about a basic thing like this. There was no way you could travel. Outside of the communist bloc when eastern europe was communist a hungarian has the freedom to travel anywhere in the world. The comparison of victor oregon to communists is another example of people trivializing communist evil. It's like comparing people to nazis. All you do is trivial is nazi evil.
Larry Elder Criticizes Gavin Newsom's Policies and Spending
"Seems like he's he's worried it seems like nine c. pelosi's neff new gruesome use is wide because every week he's coming up with with another plot to buy off voters correct. Larry that's correct even the outgoing governor. Jerry brown criticised spending with this governor has just done. Is he giving people a whole year. Risk-free free on top of the three hundred dollars that you get up until at least september and this is why california jobs are recovered only to the extent of fifty percent as opposed to two-thirds and the rest of the country. I have a lot of friends who operate small businesses while great restaurants. They cannot find people to work a group of economists from bank of america. they weren't trumpers all said anybody making about thirty two thousand dollars a year or less is better off. Not were working and this is what they've done and again. What gavin do some has done is that he is forced all these businesses to shut up. You may not know. This ran a small business. I practiced law for a while. But i ran a small business. Fourteen years. it was successful. I sold it relocated to california. The business kept want most businesses that are small ceo. Those that succeed are often just despair payroll the payroll. How many dreams that each. How many how many lives he dash you put your hopes and dreams in the business and they were all gone because at this guy and people are furious. And i want to remind people. There's a direct connection between the crime and the homelessness and the cost of living and this man and the policy that have been pushed by the super majorities of democrats in the lower and upper chambers of the legislature. Here in california.
Mark Levin Endorses Josh Mandel for U.S. Senate
"Com You know, I endorsed you a few years back, didn't I? You. Did you did You endorse me? If years back, I'd be honored to earn your endorsement. Now, I recently got endorsed by the Senate Conservatives fund. This is an organization that does not do too many endorsements. But they endorsed people in the past, like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee and others. I've also proudly been endorsed by the club for growth. I'm a huge fan of the club for growth there at the pointy tip of the spear. Standing up for liberty, individual liberties and fiscal responsibility. They've endorsed me as well. And our mutual friend, Mike Lee endorsed me also. So I would be more than proud to earn your endorsement. Mark. Well, I I'm going to endorse you endorsed you before. Nothing has changed. I believe that you'd be in the United States Senate. I believe that you would be part of the Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, Rand, Paul some of the others. Um, whether whether some of them endorse her or not, is of no consequence to me. I would have no reason to change my endorsement. You have been consistent in your viewpoints and your principles for years and years and years you've been willing to take on the establishment party Now you're willing to take on the never Trumpers. And I share your principles. That's the most important reasons. So of course I will endorse you from this platform. Uh, which which I used in the past to endorse other candidates as well. So It's Josh Mandel dot com. Josh Mandel dot com When it comes to fundraising, he's definitely the underdog. But when it comes to hard work going through the communities throughout the state of Ohio Going to churches and synagogues throughout the state of Ohio. Standing up for our principles consistently not recently, but consistently. I think your
"trumper" Discussed on RJ Politics
"On it up the border when he was at the border his news conference exactly and not because not because democrats are journalists or whoever you want to blame for whatever the narrative of things not because that exists because the republicans as they are led are still very much pushing. That is still there. It's been what eight months since the election and were still. They're still statements being put out by trump almost weekly on some election being stolen from remember what happened. He's doing events. He was in ohio this week and the same thing. The hyping up of the crowd was very much. You know i. You're a smart crowd. I bet you know who really won the election and they all yell trump and there was some i saw. I can't remember who it was there. Were ultimatums you know. Things are going to get really bad for you. If trump isn't reinstated which isn't thing By the end of the year or things like that you still see that everywhere and trump very much pushing forward so how the path you're gonna take on trump is a and and on the the election is still very very important for any republican running for office than i think lombardo especially in the comments. When he talked to bill he basically said you know. I haven't seen any evidence. And i would encourage the party. Anybody else saying that to to to show me to give the evidence which we you know. That's something that we as journalists in everybody has been saying for almost a year now basically And they did they did. Show some evidence and stuff and then it was. It was looked at by the secretary of state at various courts and deemed not sufficient. I think i think that matters been pretty. Well handled personally so he kind of took the sort of more moderate. I'm not gonna go with trump on this and then yeah on the endorsement path. There was an interesting choice by my hands. Because to me. I think of you're running in a primary a competitive primary. We know there's going to be there's already some republicans in and we know that there's probably going to be more in as well and and the pass is not so clear for someone like embargo. Who's not a die hard trumper to win that base to say you're not seeking the endorsement pretty much means you're not gonna get it out because as you say you're you're to go and present an offering and and you know be vetted in that way and to show loyalty in some way we talk about the last time. The loyalty factor is still so much so important to that group of republicans and enter the former president. So so you see him. He taken out moderate angle. Which you know we've talked about is probably good to win general. It's probably a way to handle cecil lack. Which is all he talked about. But you gotta get through primary. I so i'm interested to see. I think a lot of folks even some folks who maybe are more longshots who are like those die hard conservatives not running for office before might not even be that serious. I think they're all chomping at the bit to to hit lombardo on lack of full full-throated support for the former president..
Election 2020 Analysis: Bethany Mandel, Ron Kampeas
"Mandel is an editor writer and podcast at ricochet and online hub. For conservative conversation she's also a rising social media star and conservative columnist. Who has garnered quite a bit of attention. In recent months decrying the government overreach of quarantine restrictions and going from being a never trumper in two thousand sixteen to supporting the president's twenty twenty reelection in a recent column in the forward she talks about why pollsters trying to project the election's outcome got it so wrong once again but don't expect this conversation to be a breakdown of methodology and shifting demographics. Her explanation is much simpler than that and she will explain bethany. Welcome to people of the pot. I think you so much for having me. I'm sorry for the puppy noise. You might hear in the background okay. Now before we begin. I want to remind our listeners. Ajc is a nonpartisan five. Oh one c. Three not for profit entity that neither endorses nor opposes candidates for elective office. So anything i say or ask or challenge really is in pursuit of an explanation. Because i do want our audience to listen so bethany for those who did not read your column. Tell us why. Pollsters predicted a blue wave that we did not see in last week's election so i think that there's going to be a lot of explanations that become clear over the next few months there might be problems with the way that they call people how they call people but i noticed anecdotally and i was saying for months beforehand the most simple explanation for why i thought that it would be extremely close or why the president would garner. Reelection is just because people were lying because they didn't feel comfortable telling the truth and when they would get a call who you voted for from a stranger because you don't actually know who upholstery is. And you can't confirm their identity on the phone When they get a call from pollster hi. I'm just curious for you're voting for. They're not going to tell you on the phone who they're voting for. And in my column i give a story that i thought was really illustrative of my thinking on it coming up prior to the election. Which was i have a. I have a girlfriend who lives in a swing state. i think it's north carolina. And i asked her at the outset of our conversation who e-voting for just sort of in passing and she said. I am still undecided. I don't know what to do and we had a very long conversation. And what we're really talking about was actually. She was doing a conference that got cancelled by a social media. Mob and people were falsely accused of racism. Yada yada and the entire six months of work that she did for the conference just went up in smoke and and it was cancelled and so we were talking about that. And i said this is the kind of stuff that makes people vote for trump. Because he talks about this. Like social media mobs the cancel culture in all these things and i was kind of laughing about how this experience would make her into a trump voter over the course of our conversation. I said yeah. I'm voting for trump this summer on. I never thought i would have done that for years ago. And she was like wait. A second you are and i forgot that. She doesn't follow me on social media. She doesn't know. Sort of where i fall and i said yeah my buddy for trump and she was like oh i am too. I mailed ballots in weeks ago. And she's a friend of mine and we were having an hour long conversation and it was only after i told her that i was voting for president trump that she admitted that she was as well. And so we finished texting. And i looked at my husband and i said the polls were wrong. If this woman who i've known for five years didn't feel comfortable telling me who she was voting for until i told her there's no way we'll no much was made that there were fewer undecided voters in this year's polls but also sounds like what you're saying is that there was even smaller number because those who said they were undecided or at least some of them voted for trump right or they were lying and they said they were voting for biden instead. I i think that that's definitely a possibility as well. Okay now why would they have said president biden. What been the reasoning there. That's the safe answer in this. Cancel culture environment that you know voting for vice. President biden was stackable incorrect dancer. But i think that I think that a lot of people probably unfit apply. I'm curious if you've gotten any feedback from people who read your column and said how dare you call us liars absolutely. Not every single person understood. Even i as someone who works in the media until the eleventh hour did not want to say i was voting for president trump. Because i knew that every time he does something stupid from then on out people with throw that calm back in my face and say this is what you signed on for whatever reality. I'm like. I signed a deal with the devil and i knew i was signing a deal with the devil and i'm not not raw about him. I'm not maga- it's it's an unfortunate situation and it is what it is something that really frustrated me in the wake of biden's election was people sort of saying koumba. Let's all come together and we're were you three years ago. Where were you last year. Why didn't you speak up for the covington. Boys and pete buttigieg was one of the people who was saying it and your staffer. Literally making lists of trump administration employees to blacklist them and to strip them of their livelihood and i think people across the spectrum have different opinions of people who worked in the administration. I know a million of them and they understood the deal that the that the devil that they made to and they were trying to uniformly serve our country and to mediate. Trump's trump. Nece and i think they did a great job and i am appreciative of the work that they did in every single department they worked in and they made it possible for us to come out of the last four years. Fine we're fine as a country and pete bridges people. His former staff are making lists of all of these people and pitas coming out. And saying you know. Let's all come together. I'm like okay. Put your money where your mouth is and publicly denounced what your staff are doing. Where is that being reported. I don't know where it's being reported. It's called the trump accountability project. And if you google it. I'm sure only conservative media are covering it because that's how it is. They had a website called trump accountability project. And it's time for people to put their money where their mouth is a little bit on this and no one is and michelle. Obama tweeted something the other day. That was you know. Half of americans who voted for him are x y. You know the whole litany of and this is not. I don't know how you move forward. When that when the former first lady is impugning the motives of half of the americans that voted for for trump. And you're not. You're not voting for racism. You're not voting for you. Know i think. I think that's a really simplistic way of looking at things. And it's also a really divisive and toxic way and if biden wants to actually move forward in a kun-bae off fashion say something about what michelle obama tweeted now. I want to reiterate what you said at the beginning. Bethany that this is just your theory. it's based on anecdotal evidence. There are many reasons why the polls might not have panned out this year. But let me ask you this. Not all pollsters work for media some work for politicians who are trying to assess what their constituents want. Do you think people understand that. Not being truthful about their preferences might undermine the whole democratic process. Do you believe that so. That's an interesting question. Because in some part it undermines the thesis of my piece because we saw that the internal polling that was done by campaigns was actually far superior to that of the media companies. And i think that people are more apt to trust a cloister that is not in the media because people don't trust the media dot readily and that distrust has been well earned by the media but the internals that we can gather that the biden campaign was getting told them to go to georgia and it seemed like a crazy idea and they were right to do so. So i i think that the internal polls that campaigns had were better than the media hat by. I don't think it undermines the democratic process because is not essential to the democratic process. It just it gives campaigns some idea of where they should be focusing and what their messaging should be but overall the democratic process is completely hinged upon votes. And that's really what counts at the end of the day well bethany. Thank you so much for. Your thoughts really intriguing thoughts. I really appreciate that. And i hope our listeners. Think about it i hope. I hope you've given them food for thought. Thanks
Political Campaigns See Flood Of Outside Money, Often From Unknown Donors
"A record amount of outside money is flooding into Senate races across the country. Of course, control of the chamber is up for grabs in next week's election. As NPR's gyms are only reports much of the outside money comes from groups whose donors are mystery. Last March. A day before the filing deadline, Montana Governor Steve Bullock announced he would challenge the Republican Senate incumbents Steve Daines, and so began the epic battle of this Steve's on the airwaves. I think that Danes had his first attack at up in I would say it was less than a week. Lee Banville teaches journalism at the University of Montana, he says many millions of dollars are being spent on the race the population of its largest city. Billings, Khun fit inside a big college football stadium. So all those millions by a lot of TV and Internet ads, whether it's the radio, or, you know, gosh knows if you're watching the nightly news or jeopardy. You just It's political out after political ad do you call a man who doesn't just accept trumps corruption? But votes for it? What do you call a man like this? You call him? Delis. That ad is paid for by the never Trumper Lincoln Project, one of the most prolific spenders this year. Montana writer Dan Brooks wonders if he sledgehammers subtle negative ads turn off voters from the perspective of people that I talked about. It just makes everyone generally angry at politics. I think that like Just seeing it everywhere is alienating. Many of these groups have bland names that obscure who they really are. Ah, bill passed by the House would force them to be more transparent about their funders. It's stuck on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is desk. The idea behind the bill is that voters should know where this outside money is coming from, even if they can't get rid of it altogether. Jim's a roly NPR

"Members of Vice President Mike Pence's staff have tested positive for covert 19. But the vice president Tested negative and he'll stay on the campaign trail. Much to the dismay of The never Trumpers, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer today, the White House chief of staff conceded the White House is quote not going to control the pandemic. And yet last night, we learned that several aides close to vice President Pence Have tested recently positive for called it in the same breath with which they announced that vice president Pence was exposed. The White House said that And what he would keep on campaigning. Comparing campaigning work to the work that doctors and nurses and firefighters and police officers do.

You want to come to yours you later. I'll make sure we're not we're wearing socks. So it's not illegal right good stuff. All right. I don't know the thing is ma'am. With other people get up and Rachel Roland space while she's speaking out for black lives matter and speaking out against police brutality and releasing lists of corrupt cops who we have been victims of as well as countless black people. So, you know, like I'm I don't feel like what what we're doing is wrong and what we're calling attention to is Criminal maybe, you know, I think I think I agree with you so much for the average person that maybe they think about as radical as we are cuz I don't think we're that radical in a lot of respects, but I know some some of our audience may maybe thinks that but the results this year like that we now have a choice that Rachael Rollins has released of the all the bad officers not all of them, but at least a good number there on a list. Yeah, Richard Rollins had them on and now the public has them on the list and not just her but also Marian Ryan and other DA's across the state and there's a lot more happening to get rid of the bad police. That's my big thing. Biggest thing on leasing is we know who the bad. So we know we shouldn't have to wait till they have thirteen or fourteen complaints against them. They destroy like this one has too many complaints he needs to go. Yes, and the head of the police Union was a child off my goodness. This is got away with this broken. You know what he got away with this balance needs to end. I want to thank you guys for calling it. Thank you Rod Weber an alarm for spisa. We've been on the phone. Well, I don't want to say we're not the same politically. I understand that those guys are I'll just say those guys are like far right Edge and Argo capitalist, whatever they call themselves to be politically they're crazy people based on though. They are fun. And I think they're good people on top of it. Like I don't think they they won't stab you or or swear you or or do you hurt even more than us? Yeah, so well yourself, you might see some of the attacks on them. Yeah. Well, he's talking about he got stabbed or someone tried to stab him. What's that? Oh, yeah. Okay, so I have not seen the actual stabbing, but I've seen a photograph a still. From the video and the guy absolutely does pull a knife. Um, I don't think he's released the video of you know, it going further than that. But you know as long in Londonderry, New Hampshire she got she got choked up by one of these guys. I got punched in the face. There's lots of those things and even today on the mainstream news. They were showing Steve Shaffer being dragged across the street by Volkswagen people. So I you know, I can't speak to you about any more than the steel. I did see the skill of the knife and so Steve is one of these guys because either Narco capitalist, I believe he's trying to profit off of this heat Rickles it out, but I did see the still photo and you know God love him. I felt like it was perhaps the way she was treated me and we see her do that over and over again, and now Steve Shaffer, you know, Steve Shaffer and Michael Picard are two guys from Connecticut to come up and they troll Diana floor and they Troll rela, and it's been very interesting to see what's going on with that because over time it's gotten more and more violent, and there's been knives. There's been fist fight. Bots has been camera stolen this criminal complaints. We're going to play some of those clips tonight, maybe a couple of them and hopefully get some phone calls our new phone number. Again, 617-297-7213 wage. I miss someone's call. I'm very upset. Please call back cuz we are first call. I screwed that moment up for us. I want to ask can anyone hear me? I'm looking only at one thing right now one room only and it's the the what do we call that the oh man? I can't even the rumor the room the chat room or the room on Facebook that I started. I don't see any comments yet. I see a lot of people listening, but no comments. I hope everything is working so far. I hope you can hear me perfectly clear off. Again. The telephone number 617-297-7213. Someone left a comment. Let's see. Hi Mike. Yes. Your audio is good. Thank you, cuz I can't hear anything on my headphones. We just set up the tone new screens tonight. We set up a new telephone number and for some reason I can't hear anything on my headphones. So that's why I was wondering if everything was working correctly. But so far it looks like everything is good. We got the phone call. Definitely working. We had a phone call earlier, but I missed it human error on my part. Please do call it call back in cuz we have a lot to talk about tonight. So we're dead. We start out with Michelle mullet that clip and then we played a clip an audio that we're going to play throughout the show tonight. And it's rela basically calling her fellow Trumper Republicans in Massachusetts. Rela Campbell is a candidate for US Congress running against Ayanna Pressley. And Rayla is basically threatening people and local Trappers have caught her out on this. They're they're basically now, you're out on it and and it looks like they may even press charges cuz she threatened violence. We have a phone call who's on the phone right.
C-SPAN suspends Scully after he admits to lie about hack
"So last night fence we had the two competing town halls and Joe Biden got a two hour town hall. President Trump got a 40 minute town hall because the 1st 20 minutes of his town hall were spent arguing with Savannah Guthrie, who thought she was there to debate the president. But what last night was supposed to be was supposed to be nice to be a town hall with both candidates on the same stage, which could have happened last night and should have happened last night. But that was a goat rodeo. And so it didn't happen last night, thanks to the council on the presidential debates. S so instead, we have the two competing town halls. Now. C Span's Steve Sculley was supposed to be moderating that town. Holly's has been one of the moderators of the town hall That was supposed to happen last night. And the whole thing fell apart and part of this whole thing falling apart. You know the president was was the president, you know? Could he be there without being a super spreader they were calling on Biden's campaign, you know, apparently didn't want in there. They only wanted him there. If he was encased in like the boy in the plastic bubble like John Travolta, you know all these ridiculousness, but Steve's going one of getting caught up in this Because President Trump criticized Steve Scully as a never Trumper And Scully tweets at Scaramucci Anthony Scaramucci build Trump aide Should Scaramucci Should I respond to Trump? And everybody is thinking. Oh, he meant his put this editor a D. M. He meant to message right scare a Scaramucci directly, but instead he tweeted it out. And that, of course, caught everyone's attention. So in response to that, Scully says, My Twitter account was hacked, and we all laughed at it because it was like the third time. He said that his Twitter account has been hacked. And every time it happens, his Twitter account goes away. And then it comes back once the controversial wait. I'm sorry. There were multiple times that he did that. Yeah, there was more than what there was more that I have. No, it's okay. I didn't. I just didn't realize that okay? Yeah, he's done a multiple times hilarious even worse. Yeah, so so his account goes away, and then it comes back. So that's why I think a lot of people were a little little suspicious about him, saying that his account was hacked yet again. Well, turns out he could not keep up the lie, and he has admitted that his Twitter account was not hacked, he said. I falsely claim that my Twitter account had been hacked. So he has now been suspended as the political editor Force C span after he admitted that his Twitter feed was hacked. And you know what part of me feels like. Okay, good for him. He admitted it. How many of these people especially on the left will ride that denial down into the grand and into their graves? Because they say, Hey, it worked for joy Reid. So it'll work for me and what is left. Do they just deny and double down on denying double down and then they dare you to continue to come after them and most on the right, Just go OK and they walk away, but that didn't work for Steve

"8 P.m.. It's Steve Levin that dice man. Roll the dice where you don't know what the hell we're gonna be talking about. But you be sure to listen, learn and laughed. 44305 78 100. That's 844305 78 100. This is the Jared Dillion show. We're going to get into these arguments again about who is better for the economy. Trumper Biden. There's ah hole number of ways you can look at it. One of the ways I like to think about this is who was better in the short run and who was better in the long run? And I think Biden Potentially could be better in the short run. And I think Trump is probably better in the long run, but neither are really what I would characterize as good for the economy. Because we're gonna get a lot of debt. What President is best for innovation and entrepreneurs. That should be obvious. Which president is better for sustainable long term growth? Which president is better for reducing debt? Which president makes the stock market go up. Actually, the last one should not be a concern. You know, some of our best presidents had presided over declines in the stock market. Um, but, you know, going through this list. Yeah, I would say that. Biden is marginally better in the short run, and Trump is marginally better in the long run. It's president that's for innovation and entrepreneurs. It's definitely gonna be trump for sure. Um You're talking about mind raising long term capital gains taxes, which you know, it's funny. I did a little research on capital gains taxes and the research on how capital gains taxes. Affect the economy is kind of inconclusive. But one of the things that people don't take into consideration is that 17% of the wealth owned in this country is owned in the form of private small businesses. And these are people When they sell their businesses, they will have to pay capital gains tax, which could be substantial. I mean, if you built the business, you started it from scratch and you sell it for $10 million. The cost basis is effectively zero. You're gonna be paying $3.96 million of tax on that. As opposed to $2 million of tax as a stands right now. So when you look at long term capital gains It's definitely Trump is better for innovation and entrepreneurs. And also, you know, income taxes. There's going to be higher, marginal rates, So that's you know, Trump wins here. Which president is better for sustainable long term growth? Kind of neither. Neither is really good for sustainable growth. When you talk about the amount of debt that we're gonna have Which president is better for reducing debt? They're both bad. Trump is better, but they're definitely both like terrible, horrendous. Which president makes the stock market go up. Now, it kind of seems like Biden is making the stock market go up because the market is thinking that we're going to get trillions of dollars of stimulus next year, which I don't think is an unreasonable expectation. So in terms of the stock market going up in the short term, maybe it's button. I don't know. What a lot of people don't realize is that economic policy works with a very long black case. Only actions you take today the effects of that are felt very far out into the future. And you know, people look at the growth of the 19 nineties, and Clinton takes credit for that. I don't think Clinton should take credit for that. I mean, he, after all did raise taxes. One of the things that he did that he does get credit for is free trade. So that was good. But I mean I what I believe is that the tax cuts that were passed in the eighties taking top tax rates from 70% down to 28%. I think that was rocket fuel for the economy and that propelled the economy for 20 years. So economic policy works with a very long black. By the way, nobody is doing supply side economics anymore. Nobody is talking about them. This is all this economics is demand side, its demand side Kensi and economics, which is not good. So again, who is better for the economy? Biden or Trump? Now. I write a pretty good article about this today. And either way, it is short term gain in long term pain. Trump a nomics or Biden nomics, rising above the immediate concerns of the covert crisis. In a potentially disputed presidential election result. Which of these policy agendas is likely to prove better for the U. S. And by extension world economies. I cannot entirely agree with my colleague on this one. The answer basically boils down to the age old debate about which generates more growth per capita. Ah low tax, lightly regulated economy or ah higher tax higher spending economy with lots of regulatory safeguards. That's the nub of the political argument in the run up to next month's election. The shame is that the distractions of culture wars and the president's health means that it is unlikely to get a proper airing. For what they're worth forecast from both Goldman Sachs and Moody's suggest Biden's policies will generate more growth over the next four year presidency than Trump's. Very significantly. Maurin Moody's view. Their reasons for thinking this or essentially threefold. First. Biden's policy agenda is Mohr fiscally expansionary. Yes, he threatens to tax high income earners high net worth individuals and corporations, Mohr to help pay for spending pledges, but he also plans to borrow to spend on top Whereas Trump's plans beyond the Koven related fiscal package he's currently trying to get through Congress seemed fiscally to be continuation.
US cyclist suspended for 'divisive' tweet
"American cyclist suspended from team over so called divisive tweet supporting Trump. Yeah. Hey, I mean, who cycling It is what it is right. So some some cycling group named Trek hyphen. Sigge. Fredo. I don't know. They suspended. An American named Quinn Simmons. They called, they said his tweet was divisive. He's 19. What did he tweet that was so divisive. He rooty tweeted one word. One word. Bye, B Y e. With a dark skinned man hand emoji waving What? What? What did he What did he tweet? Why did he do that? So apparently, he was reacting to a tweet from a Dutch journalist named Jose being B E N being a bit where in which she said She hoped her American friends she hoped for her American friends that this horrible presidency ends for you. And then she wrote, If you follow me and support Trump you, Khun, go. So she did that? That's okay. So she said, If you support trump and follow me, you can go. So he tweeted by With a hand waving emoji. Apparently the word by and hand waving Emoji is now divisive because it showed support for President Trump. Somebody else reacted to his tweets and wrote apparently a Trumper. This. Quinn Simmons, the spices cyclist. And he wrote back this cyclist that's right with the American flag. Right? About that, So apparently We're tweeting that by like he was just doing what that trump hating journalist said. If you like Trump You follow me, you Khun! Go. Okay, bye. So they suspended him until further notice.

'Wake up Call': Prominent Group Warns Biden Campaign That It's Falling Short on Outreach to Women of Color
"Want to back to something that you all at she the people did you had a series of virtual listening sessions and you're take away from those was that they were real. WAKEUP call. That's what you were quoted as saying, we're ringing alarm bells were saying we want to win. But if you listen to the women on the ground were not there yet can you talk to us about those sessions and your conversations with the Biden campaign about them she the People's network includes many women in the battleground states at the focus for us is an Arizona Texas Georgia Florida and the three Midwest states that trump won last time Michigan Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. And we gathered you know local and state elected officials and heads of organizations people who work on voter registration engagement, and we asked a series of open ended questions. How much do you see yourself in the campaign? Is the Biden campaign been in touch with you What are the issues that matter what would need to happen for you to want to amplify the message? What are your frustrations and what we heard? Is, that there was a lot of frustration on the on the ground amongst the women of color who are in the middle of the critical voter turnout we know in our big lesson from two thousand sixteen is that winning and twenty twenty is about turning out our voters and activating those who are most likely to vote democratic. That's women of color particularly black women and in the states that I mentioned with very few exceptions. Women of color about a quarter of the electorate in the majority of women and so It's incredibly crucial that the women of Color in these battleground states turn out at higher rates and how was the Biden teams response we had a meeting that that there was a lot of openness and listening I think there's some really smart women who the Biden campaign is brought on and I don't. Think it's any secret they're playing catch up. You know because it's not like Biden's a new candidate. You know it's just that right now for the general election in this strange year, the women who were on board now both Black Asian American. Latina who are an indigenous who are running speaking of folks on the ground there they're open they're listening the issue is that we we did not want. I didn't want to see these red flags and not talk about it because it is a People who are in the business of electoral politics, understand one of the biggest mistakes that the Hillary Clinton campaign, and when I say the campaign, it's a campaign it's the it was the priorities pack it was the major It was the party apparatus as a whole ecosystem. One of the biggest mistakes was not too deeply invest in black voters, which is black women early and often and look at it as turn out. There was way way too much focus on trying to convince Republicans are moderate white voters with the messaging and the Komo. You know all that in order to carry the election I. Still See evidence that we haven't completely learned the lesson from two thousand sixteen because WHO's going to be on the DNC stage. Well, John Casick, who is a Republican he's never trumper, but he's also the guy who in Ohio as governor got rid of the early voting Sundays with with. What black organizers would would call souls to the polls? So here's a guy on the DNC stage who was part of voter suppression in a key swing state. That affected the black community whom the Democrats depend on high turnout. We haven't gotten the the lesson fully but. Those of us who are on the ground understand what is going to need to happen, and we wanted to make sure to make those relationships and call out where we need to do some investment and fix things fast in order for us to have high turnout.
Trump asked China to help him win in 2020, offered 'favors to dictators,' Bolton says
"Take a look at how the media covers New York times Peter Baker I never Trumper but pretends to be reporter John R. Bolton the former national security adviser says in his new book that the house and its impeachment increase should be investigated president trump not just for pressuring Ukraine to incriminate his domestic flows but for a variety of instances when he sought to intervene in law enforcement matters for political reasons give comment on what should have happened the Attorney General United States obviously doesn't think so the deputy Attorney General United States obviously doesn't think so and down the chain but John Bolton thinks well that's news Mr ball describes several episodes with the president expressed willing to willingness to halt criminal investigations quote to an effective personal favors to dictators he liked unquote citing cases involving major firms in China and Turkey quote the pattern look like obstruction of justice as a way of life which we couldn't accept Mr Bolton writes adding that he reported his concerns to Attorney General William Barr but your concerns obviously and obviously you had in the back your mind to write a book and so a lot of his conduct as a result of this ladies and gentlemen becomes suspect suspect Mr ball Mads a striking new allegation by saying that Mr trump overtly link trade negotiations to solve political fortunes by asking president Jean ping of China to buy a lot of American agricultural products to help him win farm states in this election year Mr trump he writes was pleading with G. to ensure he'd win he stressed the importance of farmers and increase Chinese purchases of soybeans and wheat in the electoral outcome ladies and gentlemen it just so happens that from a national security and American economic point of view it makes sense for him to want China to buy more of our farm goods but when he says the president was pleading with G. let me ask you a question folks do you think she wants reelected excuse me elected as president trump or Biden so this doesn't even ring true

"A lot of republican money that Wa- as is concerned as we are and wanted to put together a team. That could tackle this issue. Moreover the amount of money we've raised online has been kind of breathtaking can Well it's available in the reports. But we've raised over million dollars. Within the first week I think in the average donation seventy seven dollars. Most of these are recurring contributions. So that's that was after the initial launch and we saw months to build into this thing so there is a. There's an appetite for this undeniably and the second place where we will be going into those Senate seats that I mentioned earlier. Mick Sally in in Arizona Gardner in Colorado Collins in Maine or Tillis North Carolina. Lindsey Graham is in single digits. He's a lot weaker than people think. We're going after. Lindsey if no other reason than just send Lindsey a message and send the rest of the Republican base a message. He's fearless group of warriors by far the strongest group of people who are ready to make a change and ready to put our careers our reputations on the line to make an impact for our country. And that's kind of Nice to be able to say at this point in my career. The third this is where I think it gets really interesting as we are going to look at places like California where we can make a difference in helping the Republican Party In its own demise. If it's not going to choose to do the right thing we will help expedite that process so that that either that rebirth can happen or and again. This is an important distinction. I'm conservative before I may. Republican republicanism has been a vehicle for my conservative beliefs. Wants the Republican Party vacates that field and IT largely has. I'm okay with disbanding. The Republican Party so as long as the ends of my conservative public policy believes can find it. Better venue to accomplish those aims if the party wants to reform itself and figure that out. I'm happy to help. But in the meantime it is a threat to everything that I have worked for. And that's what we will be addressing in places like California where the outcomes are largely predetermined but the parties still remain a very intense base of support for for nationalism instead. So you'd be spending your twenty twenty. Spend my twenty twenty trying to help. Republicans get elected here in the in California. I plan on probably working on some independent expenditure as we say in the business that the air quotes were up for that trying to get some Republicans in the in the State House particularly the State Senate. And that'd be my focus. So yeah I'm not welcomed by the federal committees and I know I don't really don't you know I hope all the Republicans in Congress return but you know people like Devin Nunes. I just think our were really offensive. I just don't think he can. He can be. He can be beat The city I'll be sitting out a lot of the the federal side. But you don't look there's an opportunity to be involved in efforts to help reelect someone like Cory Gardner in Colorado or Collins. Main I would I would gladly do that and I think there has to be some nuanced understanding MC. Sally who in the last couple of weeks holy adopted these trump type tactics Which is really appalling. S Cory Gardner who could come out and say something against trump and his base will abandon him and he won't get reelected so your some of these people they're kind of they're damned either almost either way that will we're asking them to do which would be the Jeff Flake version. Just walk away from it. I wonder one last thing. We sort of alluded to to Mitt Romney. Getting a lot of love from both the left Well I shouldn't say both US mostly for his his vote on impeachment or removal should say put. I mean He. Also you know isn't a PA- reelection. He's this is probably you know he's in a safe seat. The president he's more popular in the president in. Utah was how much of that was courage. And how much can use them his as a role model talk. Well based on Mitt Romney. I wrote a piece that I think you guys posted online road through. Cal Matters defending at work permit Norway. Proud alum if you listen to mitt explain it and he did it interview with Mark Leibovich played. I heard the play on the podcast. this clearly. I was a an issue of of deep conviction for him and sure he's not up for re election but what he's going through And nobody would want that on you. The hell would go through that and it didn't make any difference in terms of the vote to convict right but hopefully the difference it made is the consciences in will will rally some people to say there are some lines here. that shouldn't be cross outlook but politicians are politicians mid-may calculating decisions in the bass like any politician has he. He's the much easier path would have been not done. This probably is a very defensible.

"Still inclined to think. He doesn't mean huge variables. Two Thousand Variables Democrats GONNA join a nominee who who would be his toughest opponent and who would be his easiest. The point I think his toughest opponent would be Mike Bloomberg. And why is that well because I think Bloomberg can attract centrist voters? I think the Republican coalition that Mike was talking about the voted for Democrat House. Members in the suburbs would probably mostly get comfortable with Bloomberg pride. You shouldn't talk about banning. Sodas I think Biden could have fit that bill. But as we sit here on the eve of New Hampshire yes this is GonNa be posted after that you know. It doesn't look like Joe's finishing strong. I think we're starting to look at certain a certain way I look. I think the most vulnerable the Dems are obviously with with Sanders I think they would have been less so with with Warren. Who Doesn't appear? She's going to win that let lane but I think sanders is a dangerous candidate for them if not you know in some ways their own donald trump. He doesn't he doesn't like obviously lie. But there's so much you know horse believe involved with what he's peddling And a lot of weird conspiracy stuff and I in some ways it sanders and trump. I kind of feel like we're we're at halftime on this. Just strange amazing journey through American politics that were in the midst of wow. I hope it's not just the first quarter because I mean I think it's the fourth quarter. Yeah I think I agree. One hundred percent with rob just said. I think that a is too early to know what the dynamics are going to be. But I I do believe and I've been saying this for some time. I think that Bernie Sanders threat in many ways is as dangerous as the trump threat to democracy in the way that we have known it in will because it's a sign of of of rising populism which is not specific to the Republican Party. Donald trump is just kind of spectacular vulgar exhausting figure on the right and we just think it's a Republican problem. It's really not. It's it's a broader social phenomenon and Bernie Sanders is tapping into that same is not just anti establishment. He's running against his own party. And talking about you know. Tearing the institutions down in order to meet the goals of this revolution and what happens in that environment is those subscribers those adherence to this philosophy by more to the personality than the actual ideology so partisanship and parties which have been great roadmaps for voters for centuries at least a couple of centuries here to to give people an understanding of what their philosophy of governance is is thrown out the window and ideology becomes malleable. So trump can get up and say well now. Republicans like the Russians. Now we're four Tara. Our pose a free trade a candidate based on their image their personality their you're choosing a tribal chieftain to look out for your own tribe and that's the danger and Bernie Sanders. As has characteristic of the same attributes jamming of sanders is elected president. You'll be sitting here. In three years. To Democrat Consultants Truman project trying to purify the Democrat Party. I mean the script could completely if seniors should one of the great debates in the Democratic Party right now is should the party spent more time trying to bring back the Obama trump voter or should they spend that say you know. Forget those guys and let's spend more time trying to expand the party base. The Obama coalition women young people people of Color Etcetera Etcetera and. I know there's no better people to ask them to Republican consultants about this. But do you think those people are the those voters are lost or are they were trying to bring back? Now you can see you can bring them back. They're also going to be diminishing part of the electric which goes to the Democrats pointed for Democratic demographic reasons demographic residents just that the electorate is very different. Well it's different analyzed states. That are GONNA go blue. We've seen youth. We've seen young minority voters registered here and vote in the last election Californian by hundreds of thousands of new voters but look the winning call if I'm the Democrats the winning coalition inside the House and the squad might be who you see on cable. Tv every night but for the squad. There's actually about twice as many incredibly impressive. Moderate Democrats many of them women who won in these suburban districts that absolutely could. I think you know if that was the party. The message in the face of the party they would have the danger of building a large Clinton type type majority. I mean this is what he has become a Clinton. I mean this is this is what the fighting Cajun Carvel's been talking about Michael Benefit rotter the whole deal see model and interesting. You look a year ago. The Democrats won two governorships in the deep South one was reelected Louisiana. And the other was wasn't was in Kentucky and they're you know they're all blue dogs right there pro-life they're okay with their guns. They're really pretty moderate. And if the Democrats could ever figure that out again especially in the south which Shirley went red but it's going to continue to diversify mostly because a lot of Californians are moving there. They've got real opportunity To really become a majority party for the next decade this republic this is there anything the Republicans are just giving away. There's no there's no majority for the next decade and becoming a white Party in America Gripe right and let's talk about speaking out. Let's talk about your home party here. The California Republican Party Which should they be doing in this? In this state. Where two thirds of the we we should start restart the clock on his podcast. Right now with two thirds of the voters. Here don't like the president or D disagreeable two-thirds they're gonNA vote against. What should they be doing now? 'cause I had the Jessica. Patterson on G STANDS BY THE PRESIDENT. But at the same time you know. She's trying to interweave from a little bit more about that. What should they be doing to? What's the path back to relevancy? I look and I I I. I will the full disclaimer on this. Is I think the solution to this is very easy from an intellectual standpoint. It's extraordinarily complicated from a practical political standpoint. I think that we have to do what successful. Republican governors in Maryland and Vermont and Massachusetts have done very deep blue states. What they have done is they have vocally and publicly distanced themselves from Donald Trump and trumpism and they've demonstrated that conservative governance works and trumpism is abhorrent and. This is some of the most popular governors and of the three. I think are the most popular governors in America. Are Republican governors in blue states? So it can be done now. California's different unique much. More diverse electorate which makes it even more challenging. But the road map is there. It's not complicated to figure out now. The Republican Party as it shrinking it. You know it's on a downward trajectory and has been for twenty years is increasingly represented in areas. Have a couple of key characteristics overwhelmingly white? The Republican Party is eighty percent white my registration in a state. That is thirty. Six percent white they have much lower medium incomes than the average Californian. They're in districts where trump one and only sixteen percent of the congressional districts where Republicans represent the house. Only sixteen percent of the population have college degrees. So these communities don't look like the rest of California by educational racial or income or ethnic standards so but but we are only talking to those constituencies so we will say as a party and we have since I was a Political Director. Twenty five some odd years ago that we want to reach out to these communities and different issue set in. Let's show up and you demonstrate that we care too you know show up and wherever the truth of the matter is the party has not done that in twenty five years in any meaningful way. It has no plans. No designs to it is doubling down on its shrinking constituency. Because as it shrinks it becomes more monolithic. You lose those moderate voices you lose the ability for people to think outside of that bubble and so it becomes an even smaller more intense echo chamber and so no. The party is not going to come back in California. Anytime soon. And we'LL COSIGN ROB Watson. There's a there are a couple people who could come out of this. Whatever happens in the next few years Kevin Faulkner Faulkner fans? He was on the PODCASTS. These seems like someone who could get that Middle Road. He's the or could he could. He win statewide. Look if you go by the numbers. Republicans are the third category of registration. And about twenty three thousand. Actually it actually grew for the first time. Yes but at some of the some because everyone's gone to their tribes right. This thing is getting really try the whole here. They're choosing the gangs before this all goes down November so in reality the party still declining so by the numbers. It's it's it's really kind of cult. Imagine a Republican winning absent extenuating circumstances. And you know been through a few things in California politics in a recall election. You're at the head of the tip of the spirit of the Governor Schwarzenegger ending. Extenuating circumstances are possible when there's a downturn in the economy that the effect on the budget here we know is devastating to incumbent governors This homelessness issue people are going to get to the point where they're going to hold people to account who again. They may do so with a lot of political violence so in at Fault obviously has identified homelessness issue ballot measure on. I think any what we've learned especially the trump is the never say never But I do think it's difficult and with the prospect of a rising centrist or centre right independent to me might be seem more plausible. Mamie than a Republican. If the only person out there I can identify I think that maybe this could come around for with an opportunity would would be faulkner. I one hundred percent agree. I'll tell you why. Think Everything Rob said plus one other area. The homelessness issue exemplifies. Not just an emerging issue which I think is is a an issue that both parties really have a difficult time getting their arms around what it means. What's causing it? And what are the solutions to it? But Kevin faulkners Republican who has worked on urban policy problems in a major city. That's an extremely rare commodity. I think there's one member of the assembly and the Senate that has actually served on the city council and one of our ten biggest cities in California. So they're not very very. Few Republicans have actually gone their hands dirty in the governance of actually making government work. A lot of them just can't take the sidelines and it's easier to just kind of be sort of the party of no. He's had to get in there. That's incendiary quite quite successful. He's got a record and so for Republicans talk about successful governance. I think in its own way very unique so really tall a obstacles before him. But I think Kevin Falcon. I'm a big fan of. I liked the way he approaches governance. He's not he doesn't hate government he understands that there's a role that he's gotTa make it work and he does it from a conservative perspective. "They won't do it they would rather do what the never Trumper suggested which is hello what to give up the Democrats have control and at least we won't so we ourselves with the problems are creating for the country well that's a wonderfully cute concept and they want to go founding fathers on that one the problem is can you imagine the damage that Hillary Clinton would have done if you want to say that Donald Trump is damage the country you got a look again because just like the narrative that he the country hates Donald Trump the narrative of Donald Trump is damaged the country's simply untrue you can argue that the anger between trump and and the media apparatchiks has has damaged the country the anger in general dams country I will agree but to blame that on president trump is nuts does it Brian Stelter CNN doesn't even exist when of course he really and truly does cancel culture is built to silence people it is the left sway of silencing anybody who disagrees with them conversation is necessary to hear bad ideas to your good ideas to discuss ideas to figure out what's a bad idea what's a good idea that's what it does that's what talking does that's a free speech allows which is why I always side with free speech on every single level cancel culture is about not allowing anybody to humanize those people you want to consider in human if Donald Trump is humanized and Vince Vaughn wants to talk to him maybe you could talk to maybe he's not have been as bad of a guy as Chris Cuomo don my may have told you maybe if if actors and and produces like mark Duplass say something nice about Ben Shapiro maybe it means Ben Shapiro isn't evil but since the political left can't have that they can't allow him to be human they attacked the mark Duplass until he apologizes which is what happened you had to hotel owners in New York both K. have lunch with Ted Cruz when he was running for president Menem in the present United States that much with them to talk about what they're what they think what's going on people cancelled conventions they canceled their hotel appointments these two hotel owners had to beg forgiveness not allowed to humanize other people you know what to humanize those people and that the apparatchiks that the end of the elites in this case the media's the operatic these the elites that you can't humanized people that deletes the side of the enemy that are in human not to cancel culture is built to do is to punish those people who humanized who they decide are the in human so first they want to end speech and and conversation and they want to end the conversation because they don't want you to think of the other person is human or decent or acceptable or viable or good or kind or in some way not as bad as they have told you which is why we need to cancel cancel culture cause cancer culture goes against free speech cancel culture goes.

"Their conclusions in that report, I will say this. It was the result of a process that was unlike anything I've ever witnessed in my FBI career. We know it to be a result that they rushed to get to before. I was fired essentially delivering the result that the president himself called for in his own Twitter messages about knee and my plan retirement. So there are so many questions about not just the conclusions in the report, which I disagree with. But the processor which they were derived, I guess what they're really focusing on the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton too. And that's going to be rolled out in may. So I'm all upset about institutions, and the scrutiny that they're under and the sanctity in which they should be held. However, if it evolves me, I'll read it really kill them. If you're President Trump, and you've been fighting your whole life for the smallest and biggest stories in towers and buildings and golf courses. You're not going to back off in any fight with. Any law enforcement people that you think are trying to ram Raja right out of the office. And guess what you doing the same thing that you Deming President Trump for doing next jussie small Somali let this guy is part of a show. I don't watch. "I mean, seriously, I don't think you can pull somebody away from that. Maybe you know, there's there was Paul anything Iowa poll showed that there was some openness fair fair degree to Romney Rubio. So the key here is that these guys America needs another Romney. Yeah. I mean, it's just like really, but the key here that they that the point that they made is that these are people who are not seeing as never Trumpers Romney is a little bit. But if you never Trumper Trumper kind of Trump or not so much Trump or. Yeah. Very right. As as Romney does. I mean, the thing about Nikki Haley is she served under his administration, and she could come in and say I served under the president. I love him and respect him. But I feel like, you know, they're probably gonna he's not gonna win like the Republican party needs somebody else. So that otherwise you're going to get all these Trump voters who feel like the never Trump, you know, candidate is attacking them personally because that's how politics works in the in the era of tribalism. Especially in the area of Trump. Trump voters feel like oh, you're criticizing Trump. You're criticizing me. Right. Right. Exactly. So I know you have to go. But I want to ask you about one other little little little thing in here. Not not a major part of your book. But but something in episode, I didn't know about. Paul Corbin who was kind of a Kennedy loyalists trickster, no formal role in the campaign, but a longtime Canada Roger stone type of Roger stone of. And he. Was it was a communist self-described communist? So he wasn't. But he ended up working for Reagan because he's so detested Jimmy Carter, and you you mentioned this episode where he was accused of basically stealing the debate prep. The Carter debate prep stuff and deliver them to the to the Reagan campaign. Yeah. Which of course, reminds me of the whole episode with with George W Bush and gore, but what would tell us about about that in about Paul Corbin? Yeah, with that was all about Craig Shirley book actually has a lot his a whole chapter on Paul Corbin. I think and yet Corbin. Was not I guess he was a communist, but he wasn't super ideological and he said. I mean, he just was you know, he I think he took it. So personally on bar on behalf of the Kennedys that that car beat him that he went and worked for Reagan. There was a a Senate inquiry into this. So we was accused what would you accused of this is taking the the Carter. I think he was in the White House meeting with somebody and he ended up pilfering. Prep book from the White House and taking it and giving it to the Reagan, folks. It's amazing. Yeah. I don't I'm trying to remember the ever admitted. No, no. So, but there was just, but it was really who was Reagan guy said it'd happen. Yeah. There was a Senate inquiry like an AB too. Yeah. And I think they concluded that this likely happened. Yeah. Yeah. So the guy who's like devoted his life to helping Ted Kennedy is politically as far left as you can get. Yeah. Goes to do everything he can to help Reagan. Because of of how person I mean, it's just it just encapsulates how that race. Was it does I, you know, it's really interesting to wonder about what would have happened. If Carter had somehow won't be Reagan. I mean, it's it's a hard thing to argue. But if he had successfully moved the Democratic Party to the to the more of a middle position, do you? Then even if he loses. Well, now, if he wins, you have, you know, the mindell Dukakis sort of wilderness period, or does the Democratic Party, actually nominate. People more in Carter's mold before you don't have. You don't have a Reagan revolution of that happen. Right. So there's a whole anyway. So so so John, what's what's the next book project now that you got this? Well, the only thing I've thought about I haven't done much on it. But I I am curious about writing a book about growing up you've been Jellicoe that's been on my mind for a while. So awesome. I interviewed a very famous reporter. It will be a podcast. I think today won't it. Yes. Interviewed him today. He's great. And we get to actually go into a subject without you know, breaking it up too much. And I think you'll enjoy the podcast. They're right. They're breaking records and people don't know that outside of the media. But we know it podcasts are only three weeks old already breaking records in terms of people who are interested in them. And I appreciate your your listenership. It's very easy to do. You're gonna michaelsavage dot com or you go to any of the podcast sites. And you the Michael Savage podcast. That's the end of it. It's free. But I want to go to the main topic today, which is the heartbreak the heartbreak of Trump being decapitated by Pelosi. Look, we all know it was a showdown. It was a showdown he lost. He blinked. She I was going to on the plane ride home. I had a lot of time to think about it. And I said why doesn't the president just give the state of the union address in the Oval Office on camera not only to the American people, but to congress so that would be unprecedented. But what Pelosi just did is more unprecedented. And and really an insult to the traditions to the government and to the American people into decency itself, but she's not interested in decency. She's one of the worst people one of those vicious people in the history of American politics. Her own daughter said my mother is so tough that she can cut your head off. And you don't even know what happened is that somebody you look up to is that someone you would Meyer a vicious human being like this. You take pleasure. And a woman who lives only to hurt people or you good liberals you sick owes. So I thought to myself why doesn't he Trumper? Why does he Trump by his saying, look, she won't let me speak to the joint session. I'm going to give a speech from the Oval Office with all of the dignity surrounding it. And to give the state of the union originally was given us a written statement to congress. It wasn't until recently that it became this big stupid show of every two seconds. You sergeant learning. I start member when Obama came in there wouldn't stop. He would get up there and burp another twelve minutes he'd get up, and then sees twelve more minutes of applause it. Was sickening. A dumb nation like this cannot survive without an illiterate. It's impossible. And that you bring you in twenty thirty million morons who are illiterate in their own language that cannot read or write Spanish most of them. Do you understand that it's bad enough that they're going to be wards of the state either them or their children for the next fifty years? But most of them are illiterate in their own language. That's why below wants them. That's why governor Brown wanted them. That's why governor Cuomo wants them. That's why every demon criminal wants them. They are easily manipulated. And they will always vote democrat. If you give them a handout that's economics one zero one, and it's the road to perdition take a look at what's going on down there, a Madero land take a look at what your socialism as wrought in a once great oil-rich nation of Venezuela managed by people like Cuomo and Jerry Brown, take a look at what it led to take a look at what happens when you have a nation run by someone like Pelosi. They're eating zoo animals the middle class fled. That's what's going to happen here. They promised the people are money from the rich. They promised to nationalize the oil business. They promised it'd be a chicken in every pot, and what they wound up is what they wound up with was an ostrich in every pot that they got out of the zoo. It's not a funny thing. It's not a joke with dealing with life and death here. And when you have a criminal class that poses as a political class, and they will destroy a nation in the name of power and greed. We the people are the ones who suffer. Eight five five four seven two eight two. Let's go to the callers. We got the brainwashed. Brainwashed. Bill in California Europe, one of the brainwash ones. I think. Hey, Dr savage yet. My initial response I agree with you most of the time in my initial response was on par with your response. I was disgusted and I didn't like it at all. But I thought about it a little bit more, and this whole shutdown bludgeon, the Democrats employees here using against Trump. So he was going to give him a state of the union address. It would have been under fractured terms in the media would just rant circles, I understand. But why couldn't they have given a state of the union from the Oval Office, which would be unprecedented, but still still in all acceptable. Why didn't he just do that? Why did they bypass the system? He's supposed to be the outside of figures these things out, but he's not surrounded by very bright people and advising them correctly. One. Last thing we show you can the media will would have poorly overshadow, this whole speech, everything with the shutdown. It would have been shut down. We have who cares. What the Marxist drug addicted media says who believes a word that the Marxist drug addicted anti-american, perverted media says who cares what they say. Unfortunately, half of the American, but the same halfway h Trump would hate him anyway and the same half who loves him we love him anyway, but he would have shown guts Mahoney's in plain English. He would have been the leader that we elected he would have shown the daring, and the buccaneers spirit that we need to defeat these enemies. But instead he caved in a walked away like a beaten dog in plain English, also forcing Pelosi at this point to now be in a position where she has to invite him. Why does she have to do anything? She has won every step of the way, she knows the Goshi better than him. She knows the art of the deal, and you know, what the number one rule in the art of the deal is he who cares least wins. Apparently Trump missed that in his book. It's going to go from the art of the deal to the art of the squeal as sure as I'm sitting here write that one down a less. Trump gets some advisers around him unlike the drunk Giuliani and the clown Hannity and whoever else is advising him misplayed, their whatever she is doing on the couch right now unless he gets your display Hannity Giuliani whoever's miss advising him, and that's wait a minute. Here's how we're gonna win. Again, you're elected to be a maverick and outside tough guy. John, Wayne, here's what you do. You Trump all of them? We're going to give the state of the union as scheduled on Tuesday. We thought about it. He could still do it. We're holding a national state of the union speech from the Oval Office. And if the networks don't cover it, then you'll know who they are. He He could out. out Trump them as well. You're the stand that we do without all of the guards. And now without all of the clapping every two seconds. Just tell us the state of the union and make it eight minutes long doesn't have to be eighty minutes long like like the Hollywood of a kademi awards who needs that garbage? It should have been done that way. Anyway in the age of television. Shouldn't it do it on the internet gives us give it on Facebook, for God's sakes? Give the state of the union on Facebook. I'll have a bigger audience than he would have had a television when you're competing with all of the idiots watching football and cooking shows and shows about the transgender cooking. That'll be the latest thing transgender cooking. You can cook with ACDC and gas power. But putting that aside he could he could just give the speech the state of the union eight minutes to say good night. And thank you, America's doing great on the me. The economy's doing great. We have no foreign wars to worry about who have bringing the troops home. There's so many good things to talk about. What does he need the witch for what's the witch of the tenderloin four he doesn't need her permission to give the state of the union speech? But he let her take control. Don't you understand? He lost. Don't tell me. What some idiot radio told you to think everyone? I know says he lost it. I know some pretty bright people who are all Trump supporters. They all walked away saying he lost. He looks beaten and defeated and he can come back. If my dream comes true, and it won't come true because I'm on the outside again because the very same people were missing advising him the drunks and the miscreants the under minors the leakers the people who hate him behind this back. He's listening to them. Instead it to me. I would say you can still pull it out of the hat. You could say on on further consideration. This is an American tradition that must continue. And for that reason, I'm giving a state of the union address as it should be conducted on Tuesday as expected it will be done from the Oval Office. We'll run it on Facebook on Twitter, and whichever television network chooses to send their cameras, then we'll be glad to accommodate them. Eight minutes. Ten minutes goodbye. And the story she is suddenly defeated. Now will he listen to this will he get this message will even reach him all the president's men. Make sure he doesn't even here this this idea. I guarantee you spray. Well, tell them about it. Well, Bill shine rela-. This message to him the shiny shine. I am positive that. Hey, Abbott won't. Hey, abbott. Didn't come up with the idea because if hey Abbott ever had an idea you get frightened. He'd have to call a psychiatrist but break three new bricks with his hand, I looked at this is getting sicker by the day. How do you save this country? He just gave the country away to the worst person possible. He just caved into a mad woman. A woman who was so drunk on her power that this slurring fool thinks she could be president Xi is so drunk drunk on her power that she thinks she could be president. He just empowered her by not blinking. I but by walking off main street. It was like Gary Cooper at high noon and the villain one. Gary Cooper, put his gun back into his holster turned around and walked off the street, and there she was victoriously mocking him. Don't play it any other way, you could write that one down. But high noon is not over yet. Because there's there's still one PM and there's two PM and there's three PM and there's also high midnight. There's also the high midnight. He can come up by the end of the day and save the day. And like a Phoenix he can rise from the ashes by saying he will fulfil the American tradition and give the state of the union address as the American people deserve and expect and show continuity in government and stability in America, and for that sake because he doesn't want to permit Pelosi and the Democrats who are catering to a foreign power catering only to those who don't. Even have the right to vote in this country..

"Really tuned in the Rush Limbaugh, and they're the ones who really put the screws to the politicians on this. And so and a lot of ways they become they become captive to the media. First FOX to be kind of cheerleading for the Bush administration and by the end of the presidency. They're really sending the course for it. And now, we got the moment where you know of FOX and friends and Trumper, you know, practically expect to be part of his cabinet, right? Yeah. We well. I mean, this has been that way. I feel like yeah. That's right, FOX and friends. I mean Limbaugh is a little bit has has receded a little bit from the popular magin. I think he's getting tired. But art, well, so let me ask you this. I think if I could just jump in. I think one different San that's important. Is there Republicans until recently did at least try to imagine a way to build a coalition and. And if you look in the early Reagan years, it's interesting in that they didn't understand why African Americans weren't supporting Reagan or many why there was a gender gap. But they're at least trying to figure it out and trying to see what they could do at a minimum rhetorically to try to to diminish the gaps. That were emerging what's striking today is that is totally gone and you ever Republican party. That's now comfortable being narrow minority party. But I don't think that was always the case. And I think this has been building and and getting worse over time to where to where they are today. It's funny that you say that because I just like, and I don't know if it came from one of you guys or would just threat, but there was a clip of Wally George who was sort of like a a precursor to Limbaugh television who had the rapper T R Q on his show. The RNC. I think in like ninety two. Pushing back, you know. And so there was an attempt like the idea that there would be. Rappers at well. I guess Trump tries to bring in some some some credit. He has his gots it moment. But all right. Well, let me ask you this do either one of you seriously believe that we are headed into a period of less. There's any potential for less polarization without the defeat of one of the two major parties like like like an enormous defeat. Or is it just gonna keep replaying this Kevin let you go first. And then you Julia. We're story that our training is hindsight professionally, but but I'll take a stab of this. I think that is going to have to take a shakeup like that to really fundamentally bring things into any kind of of new stability. I think we'll always have as we noted certain kind of fault lines in the country. But as long as as a as one of the two major parties, and that's that's basically the system we have we've got to time usually was one of the two major parties is or or both of them are driven by this this going to play to the basement talent that has become increasingly popular recently. But but definitely with with with the Trump era. I think we're locked into that. So I think you would have to see a major major set of defeats. I mean, that's almost where we begin the book. Right. The book begins with with Watergate and the Republicans being devastated in the nineteen seventy four midterms and losing the White House in seventy six and throughout that period. There's a move out of over. Publican say say, we've got abandoned the Sparty they come close to doing it. That compose setting where it was going to be a new conservative party William rusher from national review is behind this..

It would be I've covered her as the UN, and she is a really significant fast learner on that and has been really adept at navigating. I don't know what the percentage is of Trump not running for re election, but I could see him getting fed up if things close in and if there's a lot of financial, you know, baggage as well as family exposure. Yeah. Based on my reporting where we are in December of two thousand eighteen everybody is preparing for Donald Trump to run again. All right democratic nominee. You can pick three. Three.
