Trump reports little income from Truth Social, $1M from NFTs
"Former president Donald Trump has filed a financial disclosure offering the first glimpse into his finances since he left The White House. I'm Ben Thomas with a look. In a report filed with the federal election commission, Trump says he's not making much money from his social media network. Truth social, which is served as his primary method of sharing messages with its supporters, reporting less than $201. At the same time, however, Trump estimates the Trump media and technology group is worth between 5 and $25 million. The former president also reported he made between 100,001 $1 million for a series of digital trading cards released in December. They portrayed Trump in a series of cartoon light images, including an astronaut, a cowboy, and a superhero. I'm Ben Thomas.

Trump Media CEO Devin Nunes on Fixing Government Leaks
"President Trump comes back in 2024, you've got to set the tone very rapidly. You can't have leaks in the first week. Right. Something has to be done. Well, I mean, look, the problems have spiraled out of control. I mean, the contagion now has reached the archives. It's reached the SEC, all of the military, with all the woke garbage. And how they're treating these service members that don't want to get don't want to get the COVID vaccine. So there is so much now to fix, it's really it's going to take the American people. Hopefully you see, I mean, how many more people need to leave California, Illinois, and New York. Before eventually, those people that are left in those states realize, well, wait a second. What happened to my neighbors? What's going on with this economy? Why is there a homeless people all around? So look, this is going to come down. It's coming down to just a few states. Here we are two years out. This race, whoever it's going to be, I'm not convinced it's going to be Biden, by the way, because I think he's got a real problem with this with these documents. But it's going to come down to basically Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan. And somebody's got to break through those states.

"Of the Trump media group, the man responsible for that juggernaut that is truth social, Devin Nunes. Happy Friday. It's great to be with you here on Friday. Big week. You know, I came into the week, thanking, you know, wow, it's first of the year, what could possibly happen? And then all kinds of things happen. Holy hell broke loose. Yeah, it's been quite a newsweek Fridays. We usually try to have some fun, but there's just too much important things happening. We had cash on the show earlier and now we're going to go deep dive with the man who made it all possible. So let me just get your initial. We'll talk about the Twitter files drops in a moment that have now completely utterly vindicated you. But first things first, the hashtag Biden files, where do we begin? I mean, forget absurdist. Well, it's in my garage. No, it's not your garage. It's Hunter Biden's garage. Just the mere fact that president Trump's home was raided by armed federal agents, and now every day we find a new cotton of top secret SCI documents in some building associated with Hunter Biden, or Joe Biden, your reaction, Devin. Well, look, I was actually doing a Fox business this morning. Maria bartiromo show, and afterwards, I ran it, and I was getting a cup of coffee, ran into someone and lady was asking me about it. And then I realized she was asking questions, well, yeah, and I think make a lot of sense. Well, can't a president or a vice president have these documents? And then I realized, you know, look, I think it's good to take everybody just back to the beginning. And sea bass, you are an expert in this. Because you have worked in the intelligence world in the past. So let's just talk about, let's first set aside that, yes, president of the United States has declassification authority. So the whole Mar-a-Lago fiasco will just come back to that. But let's just talk about classification and of documents how it works, how one gets a clearance, that sort of thing. There's a whole process, whether you're in the military or any intelligence agency, you go through a process to get your to get your clearance. You have to figure out

You're listening to Bloomberg business of sports from Bloomberg radio. This is the Bloomberg business of sports show will be explored the big money issues in the world of sports, Michael Barr. I'm scarlet fu. And we are speaking with Oakland athletics president Dave Cavill talking about the team and we're going to answer that long age mystery. Dave, is it the athletics or is it the ace? Well, I've always liked the a's. I think that's a fun nickname. I think that's something that obviously Charlie Finley is in the 70s brought to the club that there's something about that iconic hat and seeing that and so I've always kind of got that direction, but some people like the athletics, so we have a couple of different options for folks. The other question that wasn't, this is a little more serious here, is the Senate committee is targeting MLB antitrust exemption, a bipartisan group of senators, and they're talking about the salaries for minor leaguers. Your thoughts about it, first of all, about minor league players trying to get their fair share of getting paid and this committee about the MLB and to trust exemption. Well, I mean, obviously, we take all the actions and work of these government panels very seriously and I know the lead office and all the folks there are spending time educating all the key stakeholders on the current state of affairs and the industry, the majors, the miners, how it affects our business. And I know that's been a really positive conversation. And I think that's going to continue. And I think it will shape the discussion around some of these meetings and hopefully the outcomes that are created can be positive and maybe better reflects like the current environment that we're in. The MLB took over operations of the minor leagues before the 2021 season. They made a lot of big changes. Can you talk a little bit about what the Oakland a's has done with its minor league team in terms of improving conditions for minor league players? Yeah, so I mean, obviously coming out of the pandemic, I think one of the key focuses with just getting back operating, figuring out which locations because it kind of was a musical chairs every couple of years in the past. You didn't know where your affiliate was going to be. It might be in Texas. It might be in Michigan. It might be in Ohio. And so we've kind of brought a little more stability to that. There's also been a huge investment in facilities to ensure that the facilities are considerably better for the players. So I think those are important steps that have occurred as part of this transition. And that's all going to be important to make sure that we have the best environment for training for the players. And also a good environment for fans in these communities to watch the game. I mean, that's the other thing too. In the minor leagues often kind of entree point for fans into baseball, especially in some of these rural communities. You brought up fans, and the a's they do have a loyal fan base, but unfortunately you have low attendance. We're talking about 8400 average per game. How do you get more butts in the seats? Well, we fundamentally need to do facility. Our current Oakland Alameda coliseum is ten years past as useful life. It's not competitive with the other professional sports venues in the Bay Area or even in the country. And we need to do what we can and we're spending millions of dollars a month. We're working on these parallel paths to determine if we can either get our waterfront ballpark in Oakland built or an option in Las Vegas. And that is really the prime focus of the organization. Now it's solving that really 20 year question of where the aids are going to be because we need to get in a new home so we can have a great experience for our fans for a bigger payroll and more competitive play on the field. Will your fan base follow you along to wherever you end up? We have fans all over the country. One thing Facebook did a study of like fans and different counties and things of that nature.

I started trading at the end of september september thirtieth was the first day of trading and it opened up with a lot of excitement because it actually ran up as high as seventeen dollars and thirty. Three cents opened a sixteen so there was a lot of excitement but it quickly sold off. It closed at ninety five that day and it pretty much stayed around the high nineties. Ninety five to ten bucks all the way until wednesday and then thursday that company announces that it is going to be merging with trump media and trump media of course owned by former president. Donald trump is going to be launching and there are in the process now of launching a streaming service video social media supposedly being targeted at conservatives. It's going to be non. Woke right not politically correct news. Entertainment i think their first app the truth. I don't know if it's going to be some type of twitter. Facebook a combination of both but first of all it is the president's way of right getting back at twitter for banning him or facebook for banning him. And i think this makes sense for donald trump as a businessman to try to capitalize on his brand on his popularity within the republican party within conservatives even though donald trump is not conservative. At least he didn't governor as a conservative. He's a populist. But of course a lot of conservatives don't actually understand that but this social media network is going to be focusing on the truth. That's obviously truth. Social is the name not that donald trump himself was a big fan of the truth because as president. He lied all the time..

"Pellet From the Bloomberg interactive studio in New York this is balance of power I'm David Westin Former president Trump has announced creation of a new media company The Trump media and technology group that he intends to take public through a merger with a spac whose stock has skyrocketed on the news To take us through what's going on we welcome now the co host of surveillance on Bloomberg radio He is mister Paul Sweeney So well great to have you here First of all I want to be clear The last time I looked at it it's skyrocketing Come back it's come down some from the peak right Yeah had a weird trade earlier this morning got it They're all weird trades But up to a $175 but it's been trading around a $100 here of about a 125% today Again remember the scene was just $10 a few days ago before they announced this transaction So boy people are just jumping into the scene of both feet So help me with this and the history of spacs I tended to think of spacious originally being companies that people got going They wanted to go public They were successful companies It could even be a unicorn or something like that And then you take a public rather than through IPO this way This company I don't think exists yet This company doesn't exist So usually if I invest in a spec I'm backing a certain investor that's kind of running this back and I trust his or her acumen to get me into a big company that's private at the moment That's kind of the idea behind a spec But then when the spac does merge with another operating company presumably then as an investor I can look at the financials of this company and decide whether I want to stick with this back that's merging into this company or get out Now I don't even have that opportunity because this company doesn't even exist So it just says hey we're going to merge with mister Trump's media company when and if he launches it in the next year And that's enough for today a 100 million shares to trade So not much of a track record as a business but a long end pretty powerful track record as a personality As someone who can attract people polarizing but boy he has some very loyal followers He sure does you know 77 million people voted for president Trump in the last election Presumably that is a pretty significant built in ready made audience for whatever social media platform they decide to develop in the coming weeks and months And presumably that's really really attractive for whether it's an advertisers or a subscriber or any type of business model They want to develop There is an audience out there The question is just how involved will the president be and what will the type of programming what will be the type of platform they're looking to build Well I help me with this a little bit I mean you said the magic words for me at least social media platform because certainly president Trump has had quite a career on social media He gets a lot of attention And presumably he would do that again A lot of people too Yeah Can you build a company around that around tweets 5 6 7 tweets a day that get a lot of people Yeah it's interesting It'll be an advertising driven business there 77 million or 70 million to pick a round number Or could it be even more obviously You could definitely sell advertising against that And there are certain class of advertisers that would certainly attracted to the demographics of his following I think there's definitely a viable model there if they can really put something together that actually works There is an audience out there I think that's the basis for all of this Is there an underserved audience out there that would appreciate pay for validate economically the type of content that presumably this type of platform would probably focus on One thing I think about is there is a track record of some other distinctive personalities radio and TV personalities particularly I would say typically right of center who've gone off on their own particularly from Fox News who gone out Do we know how successful they've been I mean I think Bill O'Reilly has a social media platform There are other people coming up with Fox who have created media companies of a sort They haven't generally moved the needle at all But this is an entirely a different opportunity here When you talk about president Trump and the brand he has obviously and the following that he has So it's a question of what's the business plan Is there a business plan Is there something that can support something here that right now has a market capitalization of $4.6 billion So it's clearly what we're seeing here is the meme stock phenomena on steroids here And it's just extraordinary because to see the type of movement here and the valuation that's being placed on a company that doesn't even exist Well I also wonder if there's a different kind of double bottom line here We've talked about double bottom line in terms of making money and doing good exercise Good Is there a sort of a double bottom line Part of it may be for mister Trump and others to make money off of it So maybe for him to have a platform to run for president again Very well He could win on the political side even if he's not making as much money on the business side Yeah absolutely And this is going to be presumably as per the press release would be launched before the midterm elections So suggesting that there is a political side to this as well But again it'll be itching to see what type of audience they're able to attract to this platform But clearly it will give the president if it does get up and running a Twitter or some other type of social platform boy a place to really amplify his voice as well as others that believe in his former politics One of the things that struck me I better did Jude as well because you've covered media companies for so long as they didn't in the announcement that I.

"Carol masser under CEO Michael wolff is here to give us the overview Thank you so much This is a terrific report 196 pages We were able to get all of it commended to anybody It's gold But let's start with one thing that's really in the news This weekend next week Facebook This week it was working to hire 10,000 people in Europe to create a metaverse Next week it's earnings Whatever that is Well that's my question part is is it real And is it really reflecting Facebook's concern about attracting younger users What it is is the idea that people are going to live and spend a lot of their digital time inside of a twin world a digital twin world And when you look at where that's happening today it's largely inside of games It's Roblox It's Fortnite It's Minecraft where they're already creating things And so if you look at what Facebook and other companies are doing they're trying to find something after the mobile phone Facebook was a mobile company Now they want to be in metaverse company We believe that the entire path of the metaverse is through video games It's not about just the Oculus And Facebook isn't in the video game business today Well it's a pretty big business too One of the things people are spending a lot of time on is crypto Particularly this week is we have a new crypto but Bitcoin ETF for futures right It talks about that because you've got a fair amount of discussion about FinTech and crypto in your report And how big it's gotten how much it's grown but actually where it's really making a difference Most of what our market research shows that most of what people use in crypto for today is speculation And but going forward it is going to be a great vehicle for payments for transfers as much cheaper much faster The challenges you now have between Bitcoin and Ethereum roughly have 60% of the market And yet most of the innovation is going to be and what are called altcoins Dogecoin monero and others that solve other problems You mentioned payment One of the things I took away from the report is when it comes to FinTech a lot of the course in FinTech has been actually in payment And I'm sure it's things like Venmo Yes Like that they're happening What's the role of traditional banks in that as opposed to the new guys All of our research shows that neobanks aren't going to work for a long time People want to be in banks They want to go to branches They want to use their bank for transfers So it's going to take a while for like banking to make this transition to crypto It's a simple it's growing fast It's off a small base It's growing fast It's growing fast but if you look at the market cap of Bitcoin is roughly somewhere short of a $1 trillion way short of the amount of money that's going through payments and banks today So one thing that's coming down a pike is president Trump former president Trump Donald Trump with a media company Trump media and technology group I think it's called with this spec And it is just shot the lights out in the value thing What do you make about it Is he really creating a media company as you know that's not as easy to do as it sounds It's extraordinarily difficult Lots of people have tried to compete against Facebook and others I mean even Google remember Google+ gone The challenge is the raising a lot of money with no end inside it's going to be hard to hire the engineers In some ways it's like an SEC approved KickStarter financing campaign because we don't know what it's going to be Lots of people are going to give money to it And it's going to be a tough road ahead I mean this is going to be some set of people are going to use it But this is very difficult to build But you know the media world so well and look at this I think a lot of people are saying oh it's going to be compete with CNN or it's going to compete with some establishing 24 hour streaming At the same time it could be just a form of sort of Twitter couldn't it He has built in I think followers who might even pay subscriptions Yeah no they're people who are going to pay I mean if you look at parler parler did get a large following but it's got to be for a social network It's got to be more than just little tweets It's got for people to use it on a constant basis And so it's very difficult from a technology perspective from a user perspective lots of people have tried good luck It'd be great to see other social networks out there really doubt whether this one will make it But you make such a festival point you take Netflix at one end of the spectrum with all the money they're putting into scripted drama and things like that And you have tweets at the other end it might look easy to sort of build that huge social network It ain't It's billions of dollars would be spent on building some sort of a linear TV network and I don't know where the money would come from the secret of CNN and MSNBC and Fox News is that cable operators We pay for it And hard to do when you start something new To wrap this all up though one of the messages I took away from your report was you know what Everything old is new again In this sense a huge growth you're projecting out in terms of technology and media But a lot of the revenue will be from advertising actually Yeah if you look at we talk about about money in Netflix and others But really the majority of the money is going to come If you look at television the majority of money is coming at a traditional television the majority of the growth internationally is going to be from advertising Okay it's so great to have you with us And as I say it's a wonderful report I commend it to everybody That's Michael wolff activate founder and CEO Coming up forward.

"Dow declined by 6 points today down less than one tenth of 1% NASDAQ up 94 up 6 tenths S&P up three tenths to a record 45 49 Ten year yield now 1.68% I'm Charlie talbott Matthew is your Bloomberg business flash All right Shirley great work I read the news release last night announcing the Trump media and technology group And the first thing I thought was okay we finally launching Trump TV Remember that Trump TV And while that wasn't exactly the goal it actually may not be that far off As the former president rolls out a spac deal with digital world acquisition corp and effort to launch what will be the next big thing in social media When stock went nuts today a three bagger as we begin our coverage here on sound on with Bloomberg stocks reporter daily lip Schultz carries the byline Trumps back deal draws Yolo crowd in case you're wondering by the way Yolo you only live once Hey Bailey thanks for being with us Think triple today huh Yeah the stock was tripled It would be most traded asset on the fidelity platform So that geared towards individual investors Obviously seeing tremendous volume over 400 million shares trading So Wall Street actually obviously having a bit of a hand in the massive run up but as you said just over 330% closing at 45 50 really was the story of the day within the stock market talking really to anyone whether it was a Wall Street pro or an individual investor who was patrolling Reddit or other social media platforms Amazing So much for spacs being out of style here That's a pretty remarkable debut for any stock here Is it the lore of the Trump name or the idea that he's launching a new social media platform I think it's a bit of both I've talked to some people who really just said the stock is similar to a cryptocurrency where it's trading off a fundamental people just buying and selling it trying to make a quick buck But I also was talking to some investors who were saying you know they view the kind of more right wing conservative potential for attracting a platform obviously he had millions and millions of followers on Twitter and Facebook So if he's able to successfully roll it out there is very much an untapped potential for users because people are obviously on everything from Instagram to Twitter to Facebook so it could be potentially successful but it doesn't have that rolled out yet A beta platform will be rolling out in November They're not expecting a nation national rollout until the first quarter of next year So a lot of fanfare for kind of an early inning story Is that when the deal will be done When is the actual merger take place Bailey Well they just announced it today obviously spacs have been known to kind of have as inflows So that was just that was just the announcement So it was not that they were closing obviously we were traded for the first day to day That was a closed successfully merged spac deal This one still not detail on when it will actually be publicly traded and have to go through a number of obstacles before that is completed Okay great reporting from Bailey lip Schultz Thank you for being with us here on sound on Bailey and joining me in studio with Bloomberg national political reporter Mark Nick It's great to see you Mark and lucky that you hear with us to talk through this today I can only imagine what went through your mind when you saw this news release last night as it says Trump media and technology group will soon be launching a social network named truth social So is everyone who followed him on Twitter gonna go here Well I think that's what they're counting on Because we've been waiting for a long time for Trump to roll out something Something The expectation was he was going to try to get back to social media in some way just because he doesn't think he said that he doesn't think he would have been elected in 2016 if he didn't have access to Twitter and he could directly connect with 89 million people And he used Facebook very successfully to fundraise But it was always a question about how would Trump get back on social media What do you acquire an existing platform and rebrand it as Trump Twitter Or try and start something from scratch which most people doubted because of how expensive and time consuming and difficult that would be It's still unclear what this Trump media technology group is actually going to look like Like you said they're talking about rolling out the Twitter component of this Truth social first quarter of 2022 But we don't know what that's going to look like If this is new something they're creating from scratch or they're going to buy something and rebrand it We're still looking for details on this I clicked on truth social dot com There is something there but to your point you can't see a lot other than an opportunity to pre order on the Apple App Store so you can go get it on your phone or whatever right now They write in the news release The aim of the deal is to rival the liberal media consortium and fight back against the big tech companies of Silicon Valley So this is just sort of retribution for being kicked off of everything Right but there's also a sense in Republican circles that big tech social media Twitter and Facebook in particular sensors conservatives And sensors Trump You see it daily on Twitter that the Taliban can be on Twitter but not president Trump Right And of course he was kicked off because of questions about whether he actually incited his supporters to attack the capital on January 6th So it's not like it was for nothing that he was removed from these platforms Certainly yes Now with all of that said Mark this could be a lot more than just a social network Once you have this company once this merger takes place you could buy a news network you could start a news network so many people talked about that toward the close of Donald Trump's term You know he can't wait to just get it back on TV And be able to own it Do you see that type of thing in his future Well they're kind of suggesting that that's what this new entity could be that would have multiple platforms There'd be like a Twitter platform this truth social they're talking about a subscription digital streaming service for video which could be like you know Trump TV or something that rivals Netflix or competes with other streaming services So again they're talking about sort of a multi platform media conglomerate or entity but we still have yet to see the details of how all that's going to be structured and how this is all going to get created Could buy a newsmax or an ON or something like that Are you open to these possibilities That's a question Part of this is going to be something that's completely created from scratch or would incorporate existing platforms and technologies or networks and be sort of a distribution channel Yes absolutely So instead of sending a tweet in this case you'd send a truth Is that we're going to call it I guess that's the idea Yeah he's pretty good at this Pretty good at the branding bit The spac more than quadrupled at one point to $45 more than 470 million shares Mark there's still something there huh Well and I think they have an audience for this If you have 89 million people following you on.

Intelligence Report Says Russia Tried To Help Trump In 2020
"Russia tried to influence a U. S presidential election. That's the conclusion of a new U. S intelligence report this time the 2020 election. Says Russian President Vladimir Putin authorized a misinformation campaign against Joe Biden and used people close to President Trump to undermine the election and to try to divide America. President Biden was asked about it in an interview today on ABC is Good Morning America. He will pay a price. We had a long talk and I we've known relatively well. And the conversation. Start off. I said, I know you and you know me If I established this occurred, then be prepared well, President Biden has his work cut out for him when it comes to repairing the U. S relationship with Russia. Says My next guest, Angela Stent, a long time Russia watcher, She leads the center for Eurasian, Russian and East European studies at Georgetown University. Welcome to the program. Glad to be on your program. Well, what do you make of that report? So I think the report confirms things that people had already suspected. So the Russians wanted to do at least two things. One of them was obviously to boost a president Trump's chances of being re elected and to denigrate Joe Biden when it became clear that he was going to be the candidate on particularly all of these rumors about his son and the son's laptop and corruption. And then the second one really had to do with Ukraine, because when President Biden was vice president, he really had the Ukraine account. He was very active there, and they knew that if he got reelected, probably the United States would ramp up its efforts to help the Ukrainians in their struggle against the Russians. And so that's where the Ukraine anger comes in. To try and reinforce the idea that no one should want to deal with this country because it was so corrupt. And when they talk about people close to President Trump being used by the Russians to spread disinformation. They didn't name any names in the report. But were they really referring to, really Giuliani? I think we have to assume they were because we have photographs off Mr Giuliani with some of the Ukrainians and Russians that are mentioned in the report. And what did they say? The Russians did with someone like Giuliani, how exactly where they being used to spread misinformation. So they, you know, they told them all these things they presumably may have given them some things and writing. They had these recordings off vice president. Then Biden talking to various Ukrainians, and then they also reached out to the U. S media. So, Mr Giuliani, if it is, indeed him had this information, but they reached out to the media via. You know their contacts. And if you like agents in the United States So you have some of this obviously made its way to Fox News on another pro trump media outlets again. All of the you know, accusing candidate Biden of being in cahoots with

Voting Firms Turn To Defamation Lawsuits To Counter False Claims
"And another election Cos. Smartmatic have also filed defamation lawsuits against Trump allies and pro trump media companies with more likely to come. Bill Adair runs the journalism program of Duke University and founded the fact checking website politic Fact, I think this is a completely new Way of tackling misinformation as a journalist. I am I'm a little bit nervous. The idea of using defamation lawsuits makes us a little bit concerned. In particular, he's worried defamation suits could become a weapon against journalists just doing their jobs. But in the current moment, he's come to believe they have a role to play. We need to incentivize truth and we need to de incentivize. Lying money is what matters to AH Media company. Defamation lawsuit is a big way to do that. The suits appear to be having an effect. An anchor for Newsmax walked out on a live interview with the My Pillow CEO when he started making false claims about Dominion voting machines. Can we get out of here, please? But defamation lawsuits are difficult to win. You need to show the person knew or should have known a statement was false when they made it. George Freeman spent three decades defending people against defamation lawsuits as the in house counsel for the New York Times, He says media organizations have a First Amendment right to report on what important people say, even if it may be untrue. But he says the pro trump outlets like Newsmax and away in May have crossed a legal line by amplifying and appearing to endorse obvious falsehoods. They haven't stepped back, although I don't now. Your signs that they're starting to because they're worried about liability, and I think that's a good thing. Still, Freeman thinks the strongest defamation case is against Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani. He made certain accusations on TV. But then he didn't make those in court because I think he knew you would be subject to discipline and perjury if you made them an official documents, so that would seem to be pretty good evidence that he knew they were false. Yet there are reasons why defamation cases aren't filed more often. Many conspiracy theories don't target a specific person or company and the cases can take years to go through the courts, so it's likely when the next presidential election begins. These lawsuits about the 2020 election will still be grinding along.

"It Point University now joining us on this nightcap of blogger, Twitter Guy media, celebrity Great great writer and also a business political analyst that we have on the program a zoo regularly as he could make it on with us. Fantastic musician, too. Happy New Year James Hirsen, How are you? Very happy New Year to you, Jerry, Jeff, and hopefully we'll have better news this year than we've had last year. Hopefully we'll we'll see what happens in the next couple of days. That's right. That's exactly right. Uh, speaking of which You. You posted something about the post election deception. And I think we're all on the same page. A to least you and I are but explain what the post election deception has been. Well, when I was talking about is the concept of SIA Which is psychological operations, which is a military concept. That is defined as conveying selected information. People to influence their emotions, and it's used in a military context. Kind of soften up the enemy psychologically. In other words, it's a war on the mind. And what we have experienced and we're talking about 2020 2020 was where Buy up a sigh up. Um, was used against the American people. Um, this is what in countries like communist China. North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela. Is that there is in essence, the enemy of the government is people and you can see it by the way, for example in China treated the dissidents and Hong Kong and the way now that they're literally wiping out individual freedom and their training. And in essence, the people like an enemy. So when I say we're being treated like an enemy It's because never before Did we see such a mass communication monolith where we have Tech companies, Um social media companies, the big giants, which control the conveyance of information and search engines. Essentially hide. Information. And when I say hide it If you tried to search for using Google, it doesn't come up. And if you tried toe actually view it on YouTube. It's not there. People are being suspended from these platforms. And stories that are true. Did our, um actual factual stories that are very important to the American people to make informed decisions such as an election. Are intentionally suppressed and hidden. We we have and it's uniforms. It's across All of the what we used to call the mainstream media, which is now sort of the establishment corporate corrupt media, which includes Fox News now, so getting the truth and getting information. Is truly a challenge for people. Thankfully, there's talk radio talk radio's of mainstay. It has always been a place people were able to go to to get away from the propaganda press. But now Um, you know when I say it's a challenge is a challenge digitally because For example, I used to be able to search using Google news and let's say you wanted to find out what was happening with the scandal involving candidate Joe Biden. Son Hunter Biden, right, You would go to Google News, your plug in some search terms and various publications would come up. Now, you know, in the lead up to the election and in the post election That story is gone. Um and that, and that was a story. That was, you know, well sourced within incredibly credible witness of in Tony Bubble is key had corroborating documents. Laptops actually more than one Some hard drives. I mean, it's It's absolutely astounding. So the post election deception, of course. Involved the image it I'm growing. It involves all of the irregularities, malfeasance and Cheated. Yeah, Let's just call it you know, I think irregularities is just way way too soft to term. This is outright fraud. This is cheating. Yes. I mean, you know 80% of it. Is outright fraud. Absolutely, And it seems like on a daily basis. Um those of us that pay attention are shocked. Why not? Just the month? Sure amount of evidence. Were shocked by the nature of the evidence. There it is. It's people proudly betraying the most important check on government that Americans have their betraying. Are free election. And they're disenfranchising voters. I mean, we have new stories emerging just today. That there were counterfeit ballots being printed excess amounts of ballots. Yeah, a printing company and that these ballots than were sent So what? We'll call it a boiler room in New York. Where people filled them out. Just the presidential part. And put in the name Biden. And then they shipped them back to Pennsylvania, all filled out. Ready to for the dumps that took place lately have don't we have a truck driver who signed it? After day with that? Said he drove the truck from New York to Pennsylvania. We sure do. And that is one of the, you know, courageous witnesses that came forward. And there were attempts to intimidate him. Um, and that's as Paul Harvey would say We now seem to have the rest of the story. Very good. You know, we're finding out that that just have a lot of people were saying, Well, why would you have Alex coming from New York and well, it's because of the blanks were sent there. And and and this is the whole thing with the whole mailings scheme. Um, last minute rule changes to enable the unconstitutional rule changes, according to the state constitutions. And then the United States in the United States Constitution, according to the federal Constitution, according to the United States Constitution, Article one Section two Article one, Section four and so and this is Why it's it's a nerve ng. It's perplexing, but still today. We hear prominent figures who are being paid millions of dollars. Anchors on ABC, CBS, NBC and all the cable channels. We're saying either, though they have a number of ways of saying this. There's no evidence of fraud. There's no widespread evidence of fraud. There's no substantial evidence of fraud well substantiated and I have all these adjectives. They're blatantly lying to the American people. These are the same people that we're standing in front of Ah, full on four alarm fire and calling it a mostly peaceful protest. James so Well, that's exactly right. And that note just talk about post election deceptions. You know, they told us, you have the people that were breaking windows and destroying businesses. Threatening people killing people harming people that that was mostly peaceful and in the major cities, mayors like the mayor of Washington, D. C. Not only didn't Make the proper actions to prevent it. Criticized any action. By the police. She called it escalation. Mrs. Mayor Bowser, Merial Bowser and Muriel Bowser has called out the National Guard. Because of the president inviting Patriots to Washington, D. C. In a couple of days on January 6 Yep, in which there's reportedly millions of people making their way to D. C and they have Police escorted Busses. Of Antifa. Being escorted and bust end to the area where the Patriots are planning on showing their support of President It's just the hypocrisy. The attempt. Trying to basically counter this And of course we know A regular media is going to be 04 Million people show up. Outside the capital. What will have is a certain percentage of the media will ignore it. Thankfully, the American people again I have found ways to get around that and in the age of the Internet and streaming Find a way to see what's going on and, of course in the social media. On the alternative social media. But this this is a business Asai up. Or getting inured to it. Because we're getting the idea that That this election was legit. Is really it's virtually I believe a very tiny percentage of the population actually believes that I think there's some people that Want to repeat the mantra. That there was an actual election because they like the result. And then there's another group of people who say, Admit, openly admit That there was cheating going on. But after all to get rid of Donald Trump It's worth it because it's so oh, Yeah, because all morals were suspended in the attack on Trump Media ethics gone Professional journalism. God of you know the idea that politicians served the interests of their constituents gone everything..

Where the fake Trump media massacre video came from, and other things to know about it
"All right so for those of you that might not be totally into this story or understanding where it's come from this was totally trending on twitter all day a and it just so happens that I spoke at the conference where this is the center of controversy so there was a horrific museum video where you're donald trump massacres fake news media now essentially there's these videos that go around and there's this community of people that love the president so much they'll take popular videos superimpose the face of Donald trump onto somebody kickboxing or somebody with a lightsaber fighting people they disagree with so I guess the most this one was the CNN which with precise which was the body slam when the wwe one because the president shared that one and so this particular video was from the movies kingsman which is about the British Secret Service or something starring Colin Firth actually doesn't fourteen. I've never enjoyed those movies I it's called the dark comedy only for some people only some people very cheesy I never liked that movie right somehow killing people's funny but no there is a whole genre it appeals to a certain the demographics never liked the not Nora Nora I've tried to watch it a couple times is just not really my my genre so anyway this memoir so those that don't seem to have to define what a menas because we do have some people okay so mean is what is the best way to find a mean kind of like when you know it Ben Johnson Adam Benny Johnson chief creative officer turning point USA so look amine is a picture or a video that satirizes or explains an issue in a short sound bite that usually his comedy or uses wit I guess that's a good way to put it that it turns it on its head flips it sure Iran nick insightful. Almost here's the best way I can describe it it's the Internet's equivalent of political cartoons that a good way to put it share okay a modern digital essentially this scene in kingsman which I don't understand how this scene was really funnier incite fuller enjoyable the watch but allegedly there was a scene where somebody walks into a church and kills a bunch of people that was the scene Church massacre and they superimposed Donald Trump's face to be the guy that's killing everyone and then he's killing the fake news media CNN MSNBC as well as Democrats like Barack Obama Nancy Pelosi unless we totally denounces videos unequivocally and totally I don't think it's funny to show violence against other people I think it's it's not my not my taste I don't think it's funny people I find that Kinda dark humor interesting I'm not one of those people however he let's just get through some facts they say this was shown at the president's Miami resort so all of the media covering this is insinuating as if the president approved this or this was at his resort he didn't at all okay so I was at this event it was a unique event it was one with a lot of energy and a lot of people that were really excited to be there and Donald Trump junior Sarah Sanders governor on descent data's thankful to be invited you know so this video is shown in a side room in a breakout room against a wall in a very kind of make shift CAPAC- acidy and Don Jr. Ron to Santa Sarah Sanders myself and Corey Lewandowski knew nothing of it we didn't know about this until the news actually broke and now we're being lumped into this I might have spent forty minutes at this event basically the entire time I was at the event was when I was speaking in and out and Laura Ingraham that night and then I flew to Detroit super early the next morning I didn't hang around it was not but they're acting as if we were behind this entire thing the headlines are all all sort of inferring it's like Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Donald trump junior charlie kirk and this

Facebook will ban misinformation around voting during the midterm elections
"And confusing your friends. I wasn't. The only one sounded the alarm lots of reporters were trying to call this out in the run-up to the presidential election. There was so much misinformation so many unreliable sources in the run up to the election. So we started covering the problem on this program and others. But between the day Trump one and the day he was inaugurated, he sees the term fake news. He gave it all new definition. He diverted attention away from the real problem keeps growing and growing and instead attacked real news outlets. But let me give you a sense of the problem, the scope of the problem fake news and misinformation around the world headlines from this week from the Middle East about Twitter trolls employed by Saudi Arabia. Spreading lies about Jamal and about his killing these Twitter trolls. Also try to make it look like the crown prince was a beloved hero is happening in Brazil. Vote. In this month's elections have been inundated with smears and hoaxes on the what's up messaging that it's a big problem for what's out which is owned by Facebook and right here in the United States with the midterms. Again, sixteen days away Facebook, Twitter and other sites are trying to stamp out fake stories about voter fraud and other topics. But this is an uphill battle on Friday, a Russian national with charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States. She is accused of working on funding online propaganda efforts to manipulate American voters both back in two thousand sixteen and right now today the US government says, it continues to see the Russians as well as the Chinese and other foreign actors using social media to influence Americans. This is a widespread problem, but I want to go back to a very specific example that I showed two years ago. This is a pro-trump Facebook page that I showed two years ago. It is twice as popular now and it still posting completely fake content. For example, there's a quote they put up the other day, a medium. Attributed George H W Bush that he never said, take it off the screen. It's a ally, but most of the maga- posts that are on this page aren't really fake one hundred percent. They're just incredibly one-sided treating Trump like God and his opponents, like the devil. This is hyper partisan content that spreads all across social media because it's made to go viral. Just one of many different examples of the problems that plague, these social networks. So what's being done? We've been talking about this problem for two years. What is being done in this new age of information warfare looking all of us do to help? Well, Facebook is bringing reporters into this brand new war room. Look at this. You might have seen these pictures the other day. It's a so-called war room at Facebook. Headquarters designed to protect
