"This show will be recapping the story of part one while diving deep into the making up. We'll be talking to people like writer and creative director Neil Druckman. First they don't like each other, and by the end of it, they're going to love each other, like the way a parent loves a child or a child loves their parent, and they're willing to do Anything for each other. You'll hear from voice actors like Ashley Johnson in Troy Baker. I feel like the line is blurred between me and Elliot. This point she may be a monster, but for right now she's a little girl and I can't abandon my little girl. And we'll be talking to some of the developers who created the game from the ground up on. I could sense how different thiss game was from any other game that existed before the fact that the game has both a clicker ripping your throat out and Ellie telling you a joke from a joke book. I think that makes for just a really rich and Multifaceted experience. You want to just leave you here? Yes is no way I will not turn into one of those things. How could you not know what losses in this world? I mean, everyone has lost someone. Also give you what we've all been waiting for You behind the scenes look into the making of the long awaited sequel, the last of US part two. Definitely. This is more of Joel's story. The first game Where is the second game is definitely more belly story. Even if I weren't a part of it, I would be blown away struggle. A long time with surviving, no matter what..

But I did feel a little weird about the implication that like this is why Achilles respects nfl why you think she deserves to live at least on criticized as I felt they were. Yeah. Yeah. Because I feel like a lot of the other things Achilles does in his pursuit of our criticized and so the idea that this woman is worth saving because she kind of seemed to align closer to your ideals of on all but ward out all his other women in. The fact that go on criticize yeah I agree I think that's a problem and I think it would have been really easy to like have that and then just Kinda like shift a little bit and be like well, what about Kris Aus Achilles, Correct Kris Aus until Patrick let's get sick Mer career. Yeah and then I also wanted to talk about the scene. In episode, for when Achilles Patrick Lists in Brazil has a three way on the beach that's all for the first time that we explicitly say that Achilles Patrick interrelationship Eliya feel like it's probably the early seen that makes them being like lovers undeniable that's fine. I guess. But we really don't have much of an inkling of how this relationship has Patrick listen tended She makes him some medicine many has the plague, but that's kind of about it in a review of the classes. Precise doesn't seem to be a symbol of sincere love and affection million means to sexual gratification more Achilles hasn't had much screen time at this point and warrant. So it's hard to feel emotionally attached to him and understand his motivations perhaps though genuine passion that. But we don't see it on the screen like they're like little bits of that court that I quite agree with basically this because I think assigning Achilles, any motivation is pretty dubious. But it's also my feelings. To an extent, I, don't think this is that different than pay isn't troy it sweeps away issues of consent by making. A willing partner, it doesn't seem to actually sanitize Achilles. I guess given the immediate treatment of how that follows but ultimately, it's so undeveloped as to be unclear. Yeah. I think you're not as he said like characterization do get a Patrick List but not a huge amount of Indonesia and I do feel like maybe could have been level scarves to contrast way the Achilles traits precise with how Portugal Straits And really develop the idea of what that relationship means to each paw. Bot focus to that, which is unfortunate I guess as with a load of how I feel about the show I feel like they very ambitious goal the things I tried to do and solidly pull off some didn't I think that's why I find it frustrating that there are assignment many little side pups that kind of made out because like there are all these things in there that it's like, okay, this is interesting. But talking about apple civil in terms of the relationship between Achilles and Patrick, let's do you feel like there's a clear best one here Alice. Again. So you'd. Be Roy yeah absolutely. Like obviously troy doesn't. That's But yeah, and I, think I'm just so frustrated in Hong Achilles with how way given their relationship. But I'm never really given a good reason why they interested in any trouble or I feel like I'm trying their relationship I'm never told why should actually feel like it would happen whereas maybe say Troy, even though I think we've said like perhaps like Achilles I'm Patrick la-z-boys don't get as much screen time. As, we would have liked I feel like I really see them interact and like at times grapple with and like talk about their relationship more and so I feel that it has more depth even though that's not the one song of Achilles. It's the one extensively like Cintas that relationship in his book about that relationship whereby Jason Yeah I mean it's tough because we're just comparing two very different pieces of media. Guess who though outweighed? Three. Inmates, yes I'm over here as we get a lot more Achilles in Patrick but as you kind of implied love, it is fairly low quality actually meaningfully developing the relationship dynamic between the two of them whereas we don't get enough of it in BBC Troy, and I can see why a Lotta people if you're a fan of the Achilles Patrick's. You probably still prefer generally song of accused. Troy, because you can't watch over BBC Troy Get Achilles in Patrick little boy which is a problem if that's what you're investing in tons of. The CERAM, the story surrounding that. But that said Ya think we do get some interesting meaty. Complex emotions and reasons for their relationship to exist in reasons for those two characters to be such Jehlum in BBC troy the are really enjoyed and that's it. It's not like I don't think. Conscience of the Country: A Tribute to John Lewis

"Congressman John Robert Louis was born in Troy Alabama on February twenty first nineteen, forty, two sharecroppers, Willie Mae, and Eddie Lewis. He is known for telling the story of preaching chickens at the boy from troy as he was nicknamed went on to become revered world leader and fearless advocate for voting rights organizing sit ins in. Nashville in nineteen sixty and becoming one of the original freedom writers Mr Lewis joined the Movement for civil rights and never looked back. As the chairman of snake he served as the youngest speaker at the march on Washington in nineteen, sixty three. In nineteen, sixty, five alongside reverend hosea, Williams Congressman Lewis led a march for voting rights across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma Alabama where he endured violent attacks by state troopers and vigilantes. Mr. Lewis fell to the ground with a fractured skull and five months later, president Lyndon B, Johnson signed the voting rights act of nineteen, sixty five until now. On the other side of that bridge Mr Lewis marched on into a life in career of activism and public service. He lost his first attempt at running for Congress in nineteen seventy seven was appointed the same year by President Jimmy Carter to the Director of action a Federal Agency for volunteerism. He then won a seat on the Atlantic City Council in nineteen eighty one and five years later ran for Congress in one. So much of the conversation about congressman, John. Lewis has been about his activism, but he stood on so many legislative accomplishments including sponsoring or co sponsoring more than eleven hundred bills. One of the most notable bills gave us the National Museum of African American History and culture in two thousand three. He served as a subcommittee chair for oversight for the prestigious ways and means. Committee, and after the retirement of Congressman John Conyers. became the dean of the Congressional. Black Caucus in twenty nineteen, he presided over the House floor as Congress passed hr four. Since his passing the bill was renamed the John Lewis Voting Rights Act which was adopted by unanimous consent. Before being admitted to the hospital, MR? Lewis stood in the heart of Black Lives Matter Plaza. He took his last breath on July seventeenth twenty twenty. But his legacy lives on in all of us. We begin this John Lewis. Tribu. where he also began with civil rights joining me for this very important conversation are Vanita Gupta President and CEO of the Leadership Conference on civil and Human Rights Derek Johnson, president and CEO of the of Lacey Pe-. Reverend, Michael Pfleger the senior pastor of the faith community of Saint. SAVINA. Reverend Dr William J Barbour, the second president of repairs of the breach and Co Chair of the poor people's campaign. An latasha Brown, Co founder and chief doer of black voters matter. A thank you all so much for making time to talk with me today about on. John Lewis. So I want to start with I'm. VANITA. Because of your work at the Department of Justice of course. I believe the year before you got to DOJ. The the case, the decision that gutted the voting rights act shelby versus holder, and so I wanna hear from you on some of the things that you experienced working with Mr Lewis on the other side of that because we know that right after that, all of the advocacy picked up to reinstate section five to get the voting rights on provision where they needed to be in Congress. And so just talk a little bit about some of your work with Mr Lewis on those issues. Shore. Is Truly an honor to be here with my. Warrior colleagues and friends and loved ones in the movement. Especially on today Angela. I think probably all of us were in tears watching Mr Lewis Funeral you know twenty thirteen is you mentioned that United States Supreme Court gutted the heart of the voting rights act in a devastating decision the shelby county versus holder decision. That really took away the longstanding tool of one of the most effective pieces of federal legislation in our nation's history in the voting rights act. That quired states with long histories of racial discrimination in voting to pre clear with the United States Justice Department changes made at the local level for election practices that had racially discriminatory impact. And the removal of that tool within hours of that decision coming down for the United. States. Court states like, North Carolina Texas enacted, Monster? Voter. Laws doing everything from. Putting forth restrictive voting laws cutting back early voting same day registration. And it took years to litigate and to hamlet the Justice Department did working with advocates and activists in all states. Where so years for federal courts in a place like North Carolina finally say that the State legislators North Carolina had enacted there. Monster Voter Suppression Law would such surgical precision to disenfranchise African Americans and meanwhile countless elections had taken place but Mr Lewis of legacy was that in the face of this overwhelmingly bad decision for voting rights he immediately. Went to action, which is always his way was never in a would not allow despair to hold him back inside we need to do everything we can restore it in went to work with legislative partners in the Congressional Black Caucus to put forth a bill immediately to restore it on every prior reauthorization of the voting. Rights. Act angelides always been done under. The Watch of Republican president and at least one house of Congress being Republican the unfortunate thing is after this decision, the really has not been bipartisan support and but Mr Lewis Year after year would stand at the podium introduced the law in say or in it for the long haul I've been there before I almost lost my life fighting for this law. In one, thousand, nine, sixty five, and we will persevere to us and we've got to keep our eye on the prize and we're not gonNA. Let go until the day that the bill becomes law. So in this moment. On where we're seeing a lot of performance morning by Senate Republicans who obstructed day after day everything that he has stood for and fought for with his life. It is time not only for us to restore the voting rights act passed the voting rights advancement act but to do everything else that we can to ensure open voting and go beyond it as President Obama said today won't be enough to rest and return to the status quo. It is time for this country to unregarded into make our democracy work for all of us in Gulf Far Beyon- restoration of the voting rights act in this moment.

It was just like this cool idea to show off all the cool particles and lighting. That game was a while known for. But it was wasn't crafted as a personality around. It was the cool photo mode, and then over time over the last few years. You have these games that out and Spiderman my favorite of version of this where they like adds the flavor of their game to its photos like tied to the personality of that gain. On, the building tops, doing like little cell fees and Doing it with a phone. That was awesome made it. You need to spiderman so when we were like. Hey, what are we gonNA do for voter mood? To? Whatever the ghost photo mode. One, it's gotta be way better than our first one because. Our, follow up one and two. It's gotta be semantically. You know connected to the game, so we're like. Well motion in Wind I. Haven't we like? Make it less about a static image. You can do that, too, but have be about moving frame that I think is so beautiful about our game kind of spun out from there. I didn't think it was odd that you give the main character, a Selfie, stick and the iphone. His drone that goes along with. Little you know little out of place, but I thought butyl. Oh God you know it's been incredible thing to play around with, and you can do what Brian said. Every time I see more of it. It's one of those things where I've been playing every night. Still in, it's like Oh, no, I need to go jump back in the middle of the day. Because like Oh. That's a great spot I never thought. I could take a photo of I've been a particularly obsessed with going to bamboo strike locations and trying to get all the great photos. I cannot have those spot often. You know like perfectly placed at an edge or something. I sort of wondering. Because obviously this was built more with like the photo mode in mind as you development went on, because it's become so much bigger, what was world creation influenced at all by the photo mode, or were there any aspects of designing this game that were influenced by it because it is more like prevately used feature these days I guess than back when second came out. You know. A little secret you know we. We always knew we'd have a photo modem. We knew that this ambitious version of like I. said a second ago better and more dramatically connected. Owning, really work on it until pretty late, so you know we were so. Dedicated to the stories in crafting the world, so when it came to the beauty of the world. That add add everything that's in the game. I would have to imagine that that had the most iterating over anything, because it's one of the first things you do before you have the whole story articulated and put into the game. Certainly don't have cut scenes. You know it's like you're laying out terrain and at that like how does the island look and then it gets into the direction the feeling Cutting, trees down growing trees, making procedural tools like the world is the by far the most iterative on thing now. There was a point where we're like. This is how we make our game. Look good clearings. Big giant swath of like in forests, you know that you can see for miles. Off using color as like landmarks again, the Golden Forest, or read flower fields, and then, and then a you know, certainly that sort of made its way into some of our features of a photo, but the the world designed stuff. took the lead on on end photo mode. Okay, now that we've created this amazing awesome place. How do we utilize the photo mode in like critical photo that will. Take advantage of how great our team at did at creating a beautiful world. I think one of my favorite things about this game is the sort of balanced that it's constantly striking Between being sort of completely serene, and then the music swells up and swords or out, and they're slashing against each other. How hard was it to sort of get that that tone down because I could see. You know I think in in lesser hands I could be a very kind of dangerous. Push and pull, but I feel like you totally nailed that and I think that that's like some people when they look at an open world game want like nonstop jam-packed activities in in your team made the decision to pull back and let things breath every now and then How did all that come together? Well you know for me. It's the first game that I was certainly a visual director on, and so I I would I you learn something about yourself with everything you create, and for me I personally learned that I don't have a natural tendency to like create incredible. Violence, I just wasn't that was uneven. Favor Games, bloodborne like as absolutely my favorite game. Guide. You're on this show. This is gonNA be worthwhile and. About it anytime. But no, seriously like. That's my favorite game, but. When we were crafting the world would I navigated towards with Joanna. Who's environment our leader? This did this amazing a blog post recently on playstation bar. was the beauty of it was taking taking a moment to breathe in, and then I realized that some of my favorite games that are not. Show the classes certainly embraced the idea of atmosphere in a sense of this and you know I donate Fox's is is resonates. Conversations resonated with him as well so then then the conversation shifted into. Okay well. We definitely have it. We have a summer game. So you know without saying anything else as you say Amer game, you know you're going to be hitting things with a four-foot razor blade so. You know violence is GonNa come so we certainly work on that stuff. allied and we wanted to be great and gritty, and the you know like you really WanNa feel like you have contact when you have contact but the other stuff doesn't come as natural, and you have to actually work on that stuff to balance it out, you really do, and so that means like the idea is about creating Haiku, which was actually named idea You know really. Or believe it was taking a moment to. Allow the beauty to take hold, and not what I think is cool about the ICU that I hope people enjoy about it is is that they're not tied till like progression like you're not. You're not like intrinsically forced to go, do it? You know there's a sense of you have to have the wonder and curiosity desire to do it. It's not like game telling you go do this to reach next level certainly, a lot of that is tied to corporation auto out to have to consider that, but it is. It is a work philosophy to try to get that balance of that contrast It takes years to get right for sure. I really enjoyed the Haiku sections actually He was like you said. It's sort of provided like this. This relaxing breeder and I did like the you were able to select different things who essentially collate them into one kind of fresh Haiku each time. Yeah I I mean I did every single side quests in every single objective in this game, but I I really enjoyed those wow awesome. The accuser, some of my favorite ones to the cinematography. You know it was at the moment to like. You know certainly we call them breathing. Moments definitely say that studio, but it was kind of a moment. Regis Art Geek out a little bit like the people who do the cameras. Mottaki, they can place it in to get the right motion and you know, and then the writers have an opportunity to like. Give you give you a couple of cool options. Just the beauty kinda comes through which is which in the end has been a very positive thing for the experience. Yeah, the balance that Brian was. Speaking to how you were sort of describing how that all came together? I could imagine. It's a very fine line between making sure it's peaceful and calm in certain areas, but. It's still engaging for the player because you could always run the risk of it. Being something that the player doesn't want to engage with, but as Brian. Saying like finding those high coups feels like this wonderful moment of solace after I have assassinated an entire Cam Mongols. And need to reflect on Jin's life, but also just the world I, it's this really great balanced that a I think as Brian was sort of saying you always get in games, but it feels so refreshing to hear. And it's a huge part of our philosophy. How we treat. Treat the game. Whether it's a Haiku great example, he could probably keep talking about, but you know the music style music how the music comes on not having things like combat while you're doing, shrine climbs or anywhere near them so that we can let those be their own experience, and so are these, are we? Everything wanted these features that are not mainline missions. Our conversation is like about how much combat how much non-combat and what is the purpose and what are the? What's the feeling for its existence like what what is the emotional goal for for these features and these are conversations? We have a lot and sometimes triple times over we try. We don't like it. We try something else. Well and for me, what's really interesting is sort of the place that all of these features and the things you go on, have sort of in the context of sucker punches past work, because it is I've been such a huge fan of both cooper franchise and infamous. Stir a year and. You know you get increasingly larger, but often more urban. City expenses that you're exploring a lot. In both of those franchises to certain extent here you're out in the wild. There are of course settlements and encampments and things like that, but there is a there's a lot of stretches where it can just be the world around you that you're exploring and I was sort of wondering on a world design level. How do you? How do you balance? Making all of these locations unique to explore as well and interesting. Even though you know a lot of can just be more, the environment's like what are the challenges that come with that? Yeah, so one of our. Our Contractors Jeff He. He talks a lot about content density, and what is the correct density and I really am really thankful that he brought that conversation up to light so much because It's such a you know Thinking about if you're currently doing something, you're going across the world and run into something. How much further would you have to ride your horse before you might find the next thing, or can you see the next thing from where you currently are? How how dense is it and I really enjoyed that conversation? Because it let us think about what's the right philosophy for for our game and it it certainly it allows us to you know if we want to in one place, you just completed something, and you should be able to generally speaking, look around and find one more thing on horizon or see the shrine trying on top of the mountain. It influence our world design alive, because when we first had the game built for the I you know I'd say maybe two years. It was a lot of forest. It was a ton of trees and it was cool, but you always were felt like you were in this like. Tunnel beautiful, but really deforestation. which does a couple things one is? It is very cool, but. It makes it really hard to know where you are without a compass or many map. Something telling you kind of giving you that extra information that your brain is just really needing. So what we did is we started opening up fields and I definitely some shadow, the classes photos out and was like fields as as reference vm. Because it just feels so epic when you're going through field, but but you know the criticism it could be that it's boring or something like that, and and really have to embrace a philosophy that it won't be boring because there's beautiful music. There's five things now that you can see what you want to do next because you're in a field, there's more clearings and it created a Great beauty in the game, but also more opportunity to engage with that density and I I. Really I think that that was one of the conversations that was ongoing throughout the project, but we landed in a really. I think unique spot for. When when when you? When your team was the helping this game, you obviously weren't anticipating a significant portion of the world's population to be stuck indoors for months on end, but At one I mean there were obviously there. Are you know a lot of sort of like entertainment? Things that have come out during quarantined. That didn't really. Fair as well due to their. SORT, of like the way they were delivered or their subject material something that, but this is a game that I really more than ever appreciated as a guy who's in a two bedroom apartment really appreciated huge open fields and. Mountains in like sprawling rivers and seas and stuff like that but I think one of my favorite things about the big open fields is that there's always something? Or there is like a lone tree. And you're just sort of naturally drawn towards it, and I found that like that sort of like beautiful use of negative space to be like so powerful. In terms of like never felt to me like there's nothing ahead of you. This is boring. It always felt to me like this. Is this is this is like a sort of triumphant use of minimalism and and charging towards something. To reveal that there's like one loan item in the distance was so much more engaging tomato like at a mini map that had a hundred time trials, but Hamas other stuff like I. Found Myself uncovering the dog on the entire map which. I was I was like basically riding around in spirals like in that movie alto like I was trying to. Five is in half the time I was on foot to. It was really wonderful game to explore so I. WanNa ask you about that the. The the sort of the way exploration on unfolds in this game is something I. Really Really Love and I think a lot of open world games are going to take note of following the wind and talking to people and following Fox's two locations rather than just you know overtly stating the player. This is where you're GonNa go, or you go to. The map in this big thing opens up. All that come together. What was the push and pull on that to sort of find the right way to keep players in the no, but without making like overwhelming them with information. Yeah I'll talk about kind of our studio kind of struggles, but I also kind of throw in my own, maybe personal philosophy, too. So I. I judge Games my favorite game, especially them really harshly by. How does it feel if you're? You're actually not doing anything on the sticks. I would if you're just sitting there. Just sitting in the world, you're standing in the world. You're on your horse in the world like is there. Is there a what's the feeling and some of my favorite games by just sitting there? There's like things that go through your mind. Like why do we? What are you anticipating? That are stuck on the story or like. Where's that next objective like you're just what's going through your mind? because. That's when you're not doing anything. That's what you're thinking of next like. You're just taking in the beauty looking around our game I hope that translates into that sense of exploration and sense of curiosity like if you do stop for a second yearly, you're not already on kind of a train of thought it is more. One of curiosity is one of like. Hey, what? What do I want to do next? Oh, there's something over there. There's something of their. Oh, I wonder band before, so they're having gone to could check it out and I. think that the more information you were to have on your screen compasses many maps. It kinda answers those questions before you even have time to ask the question. It's just like the dots right there. Let's go do the DOT. It doesn't matter what the DOT is. It's just there's thing let's go do it, and so that that to me is is a really important part of what I think. The Games, Tries to do in the world, and and certainly we did not have the wind when we started on this project at all. In fact, what the wind was which is has got this cool story I'll say quick is. on the first direction slides on the you know we did. A presentation is like one of the first presentation out the way look and feel and everything moves was was one of them like a wind. We're going to double triple quadruple down on win, and you know there's a lot of attack that has to go into that. He got Capes moving I gala hair moving. You gotta get trees and Bushes, and especially for procedurally generated now artistically procedurally generated world. That's really tough. Two years later. Something like that. That became true and you've standing I'm standing in this world and we had other elements we were helped. Augmenting are kind of navigation and get around the world and I'm just like holy crap. The wind is amazing. It actually works at that time. It always like went from East West or West. East or something I can't remember always just directional and it's just. It's really good. And then we started having conversations like how going to get more stuff off the screen to stay in the is like beautiful world more and more because it's just. It's really stunning even years ago. And a one point I had this idea like. The Wind. It sounds kind of crazy and Adrian is like our longtime worked on has been sucker punch. Long Time. They tried a little quick prototype with me. We had like fifteen people play at were removed all the you I just to hey. Can you just just try to follow it and just and it sounds crazy, but follow in if you can get to that hot spring or that on. And it worked like the first prototype fourteen out of the fifteen people were able to easily get there so cool. Yeah and I. I was like Oh. Yeah, we have to do this. Question. Like. This is something that is going to be unique to the game and then an analyzing. Say on them about the wind because I can do it all day, but is it had like the matic ties to the island in historical kind of. Poetic, Tian's to you know. The Mongols came in as typhoon sweeps them all out to see and. You know we name the sword the sky storm after that you know him being a storm, a metaphorical storm on the island for for the island, rooting for the island, and then it was like about nature, and then the animals came along, and I, you know it just felt like a bunch of like one of these critical pieces you don't know exists, and then you find it, and you're like that fifth straight there and does and then nearly. Oh, I, think we have a good. I can see the puzzle now so. Cool, it was cool journey. Having having that comes away. It all it feels so true to the world that the team has created in those moments. Because you know, I'm I'm a completion is player like if you give me a list of a thousand things to go collect if you give me, you know like an infamous. Charge to go collect I. Collect all of them, but there's something that I think does speak so much to this world and end you wanting to be invested in that. It is really by pulling everything. Out of the screen that you're looking at and just letting you look at the world you get more familiar with it, and you start to learn more about Oh. Yeah, I've taken that pass before. That leads to that pillar of honor or there's that cemetery over there as you start to. Trek across the land. It really gets you invest in the world in a way that I think just having a list or a neon sign to tell you where to go would. Deliver it in the same way. Yeah, that's great. That's so. That's the goal so I'm glad you had that experience. And I it's one of those things you know that the open world I think speaks so well to what the team really accomplish with this game, but one of the things I was curious about wasn't and I know. We talked about this a little bit, but released, but since we can. Talk to the island as whole, but what was the? I? Guess the poll the. The back and forth poll of wanting to make sure you stay true to the spirit of this real world location, and honor the history and the people that are but also create a world that at the end of the day would be fun to run around or write a horse around in as a game. Yeah and it's a great topic, and it's kind of been the the struggle for and I would say struggle in a creative sense. It's the creative. From from from once, we actually knew we were making Susha and we started doing all this research, and and you learn so much about the island. Like the fact that at that time it was likely to be like ninety five percent covered in dense forest. Which again I told you we tried. We tried very dense forest in. It's just hard to ride a fun horse through tree. Trees it's. Pretty tough. Also, it's incredibly hilly. We went there just like it's just hill after hill after mountain after Mount After Mountain, also challenging to create a interesting layouts in combat spaces in so. So, we worked with our team in Japan. We're like hey, this is how we were planning on You know being inspired by the shape of the islands. It looks very similar to the actual shape, but here's some kind of Ford as we'd like to take or game reasons you know, make the game more fun to to roam around. The landscapes in have layouts that have. Have Cool puzzle climbing challenges, or what have you were interesting missions, and and they were totally for it you know. And they gave us feedback of maybe when we went too far and then they also they know is in a fun way. They gave us feedback of win. Hey, you could go further with us, and so that was. It was a lot of ultimately. We're super inspired by history, and what happened and then the general beauty of greater. The greater nature of Japan as a whole, it's definitely hugely inspiring to us but we also make in a game and a PR and original story and a lot of things that. Have to Challenge it, but work in tandem with it, so it's it's definitely been a challenge I'm in a good way and we learn so much. And I will say the last thing I'll say on that. Is that within Joyon on the environment? Our team myself in the constitution. We talk a lot about like realism. And You know like A. Maybe painted realism, or maybe, how can we do it like a slightly stylized version of that? And and and you know this is not even if you've ever been to Seattle only did infamous. It wasn't really a stone by stone. Kind of recreation. Roads aren't lined up exactly. It's sort of like if you blur your eyes, you're like Oh. Yeah, that's definitely definitely Seattle like it rains. A lot of people drink coffee. PUNK ROCK and grunge music. It's You know the things that are there the spacing? Like the things you would expect, but it's not the like. Let's put a magnifying glass over, and let's get it like perfectly accurate and we take that same philosophy here. We want to feel like that. This is plausibly. Dass what it could feel like. That's what if we could do smell through it. That would we would try to. Feeling into music, we're going for a as a is a is a main heart. Smell will actually be unlocked on the playstation six. Thirty I. Have Rumor, we have an today since three. Hey listeners. The the combat in this game is awesome, and that's coming from somebody who to be completely transparent. Wasn't crazy about it. At first 'cause my immediate reaction was. There's no lock on. Think what do you mean? There's no lock on like you can't. You can't have a certified again without lock on and as as I grew to. Appreciate. The sort of dynamic happenstance of a dashing between those four stances and. Fighting different types of enemies. In synchronicity while switching and switching back and forth using my sub moves and everything I was like. This is one of my favorite combat systems interview ever But what what? How did how did that decision? Come to not have have lock on? was that was at a debate internally in the studio? Because that's to me, that's one of those things that people just expect from a video game and I found myself not even thinking about it after a few hours in. I. It's definitely debate right like it's A. It was heavily debated and talked about how you know. From all corners of the CEO there was not some like. I mean because it's a it's a standard. There is a standard anytime. You go against the standard. You need to prove it out and. I'm glad we tried something different than you know. As person bloodborne like my favorite game, I like games that allow you to really kind of hone in and focus, and and control that since a control comes, comes with locking, but and you know, and certainly as a samurais sense of control is a huge fantasy so Yeah, man. We talked about it a ton Maybe when it comes to combat, I would say it's in the top three conversations that we had over the entire course of the project while. But I have to give massive. Shout out to you know. One of the studio heads. You know I've found Sucker Punch Christopher. Men he's he's behind the core design, a lot of the combat and he he works out of the code for it, and there's another Guy Ted. Who is awesome designer? And he liked those two brains man. They worked together, and they figured out a way to create something that is first of all feels like you're hitting the person when you do hit them like it's a tandem as animation, so it's not like a hit box based. It's like these. This animation links up to this one. Is I very newbie? Animation Brain. And it's not just like the slash through thing right, and so they feel like you're hitting the person it feels. A goal is a gritty feeling, but it's also incredibly fast paced at times. You know as you get like five or six people around you you can be, you could be like. Changes. In planning, and when you're going to do the smoke bomb, go around the building and do another. Jump down from the top, you know. It's just like a it. Almost like a the style of it is is better with how the walk on. That's kind of the thing that we found over time especially when she became pro at it. And locking on actually with slow down, maybe in some ways and a sense of control will be got out of it instead was things like standoffs in duels, obviously assassinating somebody having that jump on, somebody gives you that, too, but we decided to really push that those moments or mythic abilities I think are. Usually will help take out people pretty quickly. The mythic abilities are interesting because I I think i. I I'm really glad that this game never really went like supernatural despite having the Word Ghost, in the title. There's. There's other there's an alternate version of this game. Were you guys just want preserved and people are summoning dragons and stuff like that. I appreciate that a lot of the crazy stuff that you got away with felt grounded even like the fire sort is ridiculous, but there's like. Oh there's there's sort of like a scientific explanation. Yeah. And then when you start doing some really intense stuff that feels deliberately over the top like dude, get terrified and they starts crawling away like. Is Watching people just straight up running around. Disappear and stuff like that. It's crazy like this is a i. mean even when we pitches his game. This was another heavily debated. Topic is going to be fantasy based or not, and obviously nate and I felt really strongly as well as many other people that we should not make it fantasy base in like high fantasy base because. It really those first of all there's. Several of those games out there already, and they do a wonderful job and I love neo I love sector, Oh, these games are awesome and they lean on that a little bit more as their unique. You know and so. Good. It's smart of us not to do that, but the reason why we didn't do the reason we did was because we were definitely were focusing a little bit more on the Human Story certainly one of the world to feel plausibly real. And you know if you like, I'll take the example. You just threw out there like having people fall in there, but get scared. Scoot away, man if you could just like, pull out a fucking dragon every five minutes. Scares them like I feel like a real challenge to overcome like and so you have to be constrained. So that when we do pull out something that's really incredible or scary or something like that that it actually has wait to it, you know and. I one of the things I do love about our game in might be some of my favorite content, actually mythic missions because. They. A build up the idea that people were legends like they talk about people in their connection to the island. The lightning one is a great example where you know, they burn the black sand, the sands black, which always like wire, the sands black back answer black, and it just bill out as they build up this legend of people that may have come before you, which is Kinda cool because? because. You're kind of building your own legend. To maybe one day, people talk about mythic stories of the ghost You know that humans can do maybe slightly crazy incredible in your living, example of that and people tell tall tales. I think that's cool. I love win. Jin would go around to the stories and people would be like. There's ghosts in the woods and he's like. No, there's not. Watching watching the people run away after a battle, though my favorite things in the game because it's it teeters on like on on like. Comedy, you would find in like vintage Kung Fu movies where somebody would come and kick. A bunch of Bass and one guy would be like away. Runaway ended every single time was I would let him run like maybe like hundreds of feet pull out my arrow. Cruel Man I know you you put it there. You know you gotta sit there, don't. If you give Brian the high ground. He will let them run as far as he wants to. I what I do love going back to the mythic tells them. You know maybe people one day telling the story of the Ghost I. I'm always sort of a sucker for. Stories that are about storytelling to a certain extent, because I do think you get so much of the human nature that we all deal with on a day to day basis of why we tell stories and everything and I I love that that permeates so much of this game, and not just in the quest, but on the on the ques- structure as a whole in this game I think is really unique, but it works really well. Because as Brian was saying earlier, you can go to a house in. Someone's saying Oh. There are nearby. Please help me or someone one of my favorite stories early on one of the side missions I found was. A woman send you to get food from the bandit that stole it from her. And then you bring the food back and she's like. Oh, thanks! I finally have food down. You're like. Wait a second. That wasn't yours to begin with. I just killed all those guys because you can't, there's. There's this. Stark sadness to a lot of the stories that I think really works in this game and I was just curious on like a total storytelling. Horrible 'cause there are moments of levity. You know like everything with Kennedy I think is so great, but how do you you know balance? I think this is a land and a group of people who are under siege. They're under attack by the suppressive force. At the same time. They are living their lives. There's this humanity going on the island. Hugs, what are some of the struggles that come up and try to tell those stories? Yeah, well first of all. When you started telling me, which story were, I was like racking my brain like which? It was so many. I I know it's crazy and I'm gonNA. Play through a bunch probably that I've played through in a long time, I play retail, but. You know It's balanced because you don't want it to be this like we did not want our game to be this like heavy thing that was constantly hitting you over the head with a that was just not what we wanted for this particular game. Think anybody really goes from bad particularly. I think they're always in goal, but but in it's hard, though because invasion and you wanna see desperation, and you WanNa see like these people have struggles. And frankly you know we want to. You know it's not always like dude. Go kill things, and so you WanNa hear you know people having. Their kids, or this or that like our parents like I. Don't know you just want to hear something that sounds like these people are struggling a little bit. But you know the when it comes to the writing and those stories, most of the stories do most of them do exist to try and reflect at the world has been in invaded, invaded place and. For people that are like these allies, and you engage with those those will get a little bit more in depth than traveling of their story, and for these little small one off encounters. Just say look even even the hasn't class is affected greatly by this and hopefully feel a sense of remorse for them or sadness for them, maybe a sense of duty that why you're doing this stuff, but as for the tone of it. I genuinely like a somber tone in general, I think Sambre is is not dark. Sombre is not grotesque. Sambas is just like a like A. Light sadness to things and I felt like that light sadness in a world that is so incredibly. Beautiful is kind of a nice. Balance and I think we look at it now that way and to some extent. That's a really good way putting now that now that you say that. It makes perfect sense because. You have all these incredible like you know. There's Fox's in this you know. Like. Rainstorms the beautiful trees and yellow leaves, but then you go, do these side quests on. You're like Oh. Wow, that was. Your family died and you can save them and you're like damn. That hit me hard that one. Particularly, there was one side quest for like now I know, too. Hard that one's talents so hard and You know there that one people on on the team who? Created that one, and then like you know as we get through the Polish face like Alan, somebody went through and added a bunch of extra work to that one for animation, and like kneeling down, and you know I you know in from liking that mission to really like connecting with more, and this is a small thing right like this is not a. Two hour long you know big big mission. It's very straightforward and simple cement to just reflects the tone of the world, a little bit and Alan Dow was one of the ones that, even though it's a small moment in your entire through I think improved a lot of the last course of the project I'm glad it exists. That's awesome. Yeah, I I, don't even know if I necessarily have a question about it, but I'm just curious to hear more about the the construction of the the site quests when it comes to the side tails when it comes to those the supporting cast that you get because I do I do think one of my favorite things. Throughout sucker punches, history has been that there is of course he usually a pretty great main character, but also this really great supporting cast as well, and you know going back to sign infamous now with ghost. I loved finding out more about Yuna and lady Moscow and just everyone at the pace that you want to in the world. And that balance I guess my question is because I. do think that's some of my favorite story. Telling him the Games in the game comes from those lines. How do you balance having this stuff? Be Optional I guess if you if a player just wants to go through the main story, but also encouraged people to want to keep going back and revisit these stories in these characters. Yeah Yeah! It's a question you know we From I is long as I can remember. I think I, think earliest pitches of the game we talked about. How we really wanted to create sort of this. Anthology of short stories. know these little little side branches off the main trunk. You know that you could. You'RE GONNA. You'RE GONNA get invited to them on the main truck main story. You'RE GONNA. Get invited them and maybe even once or twice in an engaged with them, but it's up to you hopefully, engaging enough for that story relates to you. It's up to you to kind of go. Finish out the rest of that branch, and we do a lot of stuff like we try to reward you for doing these things but I find that those things are They're good and I'm super glad. Glad reward you in different ways for playing these, but I find that the beauty of those those allies missions. If you will Masako. Norio characters is that they're just they're. They're far more developed in terms of like there are like what they need out of the world in their stories are interesting, and and they all have a different perspective on you and life, and you know in an what I what I think is kind of cool about creating a world like this is that you have to be okay with having content that exists. You're not forced to play. And you have to embrace that you have to because that. That is what makes it joyful when you go on your own ambition to go through it. It's not that you were told to go. Do it was in the Golden Path? And there were versions of the game earlier that a lot of these characters stories were more interconnected to Go Path. Through play, testing and feedback in her own kind of iteration process. We ended up where they are. Which I think is the right spot. which is you introduce them and then? Over your curiosity, we can push them push. You can go enjoy them your own Yossi, and there. Some of them are five or six missions long. And I think that's the right model, but it takes some iteration to get to that that that's spot for us. Even having late in the game the I think it's two missions for Eureka that pop up after you've revisited home. Just was such a such a Gut Punch. In the midst of as Jin, story is starting to come, full circle meant to have this exploration both more into him, but also into her life It's it was like as you were saying I, it felt so much more rewarding because I, saw it out that story within the. Yeah I think that that's A. It's not an easy philosophy to hold you now. as a director or as a contributor designer artist, because it means that somebody is going to get a bunch of people, not GonNa, play your mission bench people are not going to see your artwork, and and it's really hard to like talk about that because I want everyone to who worked on this game at Sakkara Punch to just like the super proud of it and love every moment that they cred tributed, too, but that's one where it's like. Yeah, but your thing is optional, and I can really bad, but it. In these cases it is for the for a greater feeling that. The people that will engage with it will probably tear out will probably love or be maybe even their favor mission of the game, even not the golden path I gave might be their favorite moment in the game nest. Because you, you let them engage it at their own will in. That's A. that's a hard philosophy to to. kind of stomach, but I think it's I. think it's a really healthy one for the type of game that ghost is. It absolutely plays into who I I think. My favorite thing about the game. Is that Me In the act of playing the game, so has to the game halfway in a presents all of these options, but I have to go exploring too, and I feel encouraged and want to explore and of my favorite times playing have just been putting a dot on the map letting the wind guy. A thousand kilometers, and if I if something stops me, stop if it doesn't I just keep going until something else. Interest me awesome. It's a calming experience which I don't often say I think about games at the moment. That's exactly how I played, too I would just put a marker somewhere completely random very far from me and just go there and see what I ran into along the what along the way with stories popped up which new characters I would meet, that would show me points of interest and stuff like that. and I think that that loop was really smart in terms of having sort of random gangs of bad guys. Patrolling the land and you'd run into them, and they'd have somebody kidnapped, and you'd rescue that person and that person would tell you another place to go. It felt like you're constantly pulling on these little threads. and I loved that so much was did that did that all take awhile to come together? Like outside of the wind is sort of the way the. The optional stuff and the sort of like randomize character you know excursions and stuff all interconnect. How how was it bringing all that stuff together to create the flow that you guys ended up with? The I I you both sound like you've played it exactly the way that I would recommend somebody to play, which is like hey, you know every now and then just throw down and go that direction and see what you find, and and if you don't find some great than go to your Golden, Pastora that's awesome, but try it, and because it's. In this is true for even when we're doing play testing that we did find that that was some of the ways that people would enjoy the game the most which is awesome. will you're talking about that? Like the ecosystem imbalance of people who tell you where stuff is in? How many patrols are there that stuff I'll tell you? We tweak that probably. Maybe until weeks before gold I think. Exactly the number on no top ahead, but is very late. We tweak those numbers because. because the sense of owning the curiosity, and like not having everything told you. was so important to the global feeling of enjoying just like exploring throughout the world, and as soon as you're told, were too much. Stuff is or too many things around your map. It becomes a different problem like you're kind of you either you either go into. Let's just go through the checklist which. Is Fine I think if you found them on your own but can be exhausting for some people because they're like Oh God. There's a ton of stuff to do, or it's kind of a turn off because you already know what it is, and you don't think of anything else over there, but they're actually might be if you if you actually went look, so we actually ramped down the people that the amount of people that would tell you where things were quite a bit. It used to be far more. part of the emergent processes I've almost everybody who talked to tell you. Something is, and it would put a thing on your map and We found that to be Super Smart System, and I'm so glad that we have it, but we put it in a very specific way in a very specific amount of things on the map total. Total that it would ever tell you about so that you still had your cool moment of like i. don't see anything over here on this. I'm going to head that way and finds things along the way now balance. It's really it's really tricky. Because again it goes up to that thing. I was talking about early. Enough loss of being okay with things being skipped and. That if you don't want to be so much that you don't have any information, that would be bad too right so it it is takes time to to work out, but the team did that. No, no a healthy fund way but I think even when you like clear. Mongol, Camp and Clears up a little bit. You still get a question mark. It's not even like yours, a hotel or something like that. And it's sort of it to me. It fell It felt like A. SORT, of natural to the universe that you guys were setting your game in this is this is like a long time ago. There is those no yelp. There's no google. So it seemed natural that you'd find a random person on the street and be like Oh. Thank you so much. There's this awesome restaurants. You should go check it out. Right I really doug. That I played a ton of the game in Kerr. Asala Mode Oh cool and that was. It was really it was really difficult for me. 'cause you made such beautiful game central? And I think it's I think it's. Beautiful in a different way in Curacao mode. But there was just something so special about about like heading into conflict or a story be or coming into a new environment. or it's all black and white, and there's that film green crackling, and a I read that you guys even did some stuff with the music to make it feel almost like it was coming through old speakers or something like that. Yeah, how how how how did how did you develop that? I I know. That's like obviously. It's something that you're studios. Really proud of especially since you've got endorsement from the family. It was a that was A. That was a I. I probably will put that in my top list of my entire career as like being apart process because. I mean it's just. It's just why just kind of a wild thing that you don't go into making video games because you expect to go through that process one day, yeah. which is probably why it's cool is that it's different. You know, but. The. We knew that we WANNA. Do Black and white mode I mean I think i. I don't remember when we first talked about it, but it was definitely really early Redo black and white vote, but again it got kind of pushed towards the end of the project, and then once things started to. You know you can sit in the world and you could be like. Oh, my goddess stunning! It's really a beautiful I feel I. Do feel like I'm. There's moments of this I feel like movie. It's coming. It's coming together. And, then we're like okay well. We definitely have that mode. Let's are planning for it. And an I got version of it in that was a very early version of it with a sliding team and Like what do we call this thing? and You Owe Samurai cinema or classic. Why can Wyatt our traditional La just things? You know cool cool names. And member WHO's I may was Brian Studio head. I don't remember somebody was like. When we see if we can call it, Chris Allen Mode. And I thought that was brilliant and I was like. Yes, can we? What was that process so I reached out to. One of the people that I think he deserves a special shout at his name as a relay Katami. He's on our Japanese producer. He's a helped us since the very almost since the very beginning, and he helps coordinate all of our feedback through Japan, and said Hey, you hey, who's now a dear friend of mine. I was like. Is this possible. Could you look this up? And he and the Japanese team reached out to their to their state across our state and worked out You know. They wanted to see video so I. Put together a video, and then I redid it like three times because enough. People on time video, but I was like Austin. Even Brian Our leauge rendering Guy Jasmine. He was not good. No. Though I kinda Redid it a couple of times and then eventually Is this. Is it I? I looked at so many movies measured the black and white. You know in our game. You know as you both played it. Daytime Times. There's indoor's whether there's rain. There's fog and so like you have to look at movies that have all of these things you can't just be like. Here's a movie. Here's a sample. It's the black. Man Like you gotTa. Look at all these because they exist in our game and it's a filter that'd be going over all of these and so I finally got to the point where I was, I had good black levels. White levels has cool noise. We sent them a video and and It took a little bit of time back and forth, but eventually we're like asses cooling reach an agreement. They were cool with it so. Yeah it was a it was a coup processing showed up. Is Mode teams all shit? It's called. Is it was pretty cool goal process. It has a dream come true. It's so awesome on a historical level. Because obviously you're seeing the game through its you know from the reveal trailer to now there's clearly a love and Joe Majd to the cinema and the storytelling that come in the John Mara, before it, and so to have that encapsulated as a mood that you can jump into starting to such a great I. Think like touchtone full circle thing as a fan of genres well. Also I mean the. The audio! From from like A. A gigantic Blue Tang Fan. It's it sounded like like RISI's sampling. VHS, tapes of sword slashes, and like there were moments. Paint that game and I was like I expect like method man rapid right now because. If anyone was intended, but that sort of got me on a very very like neural level I was like Oh my God like this is. This is quietly the best. Wu Tang game ever made since. The fighting gave. The quote somewhere I feel. That's. But. Our audio director Brad he that's all him he was like. I have an idea that guy's a wizard, so that usually meant something cool and he. It was like we have this special thing that we developed internally at Sony that replicates old processes from like you know fifty sixty s something like that radios and TV's and and And and he he kind of took that filtered it and figured out the right 'cause he was like. If you do too much over, you know, we wanted people to play lengthy amount of times and if they wanted to the Chrysanthemum. View too much, and it becomes incredibly fatiguing. Like, not watching move hours possibly thirty hours. You know so. You got a nice balance between that and something that you can you know Listen to over and over again? I- legitimated Curacao Mode for Poly Twenty five thirty hours and I think that I like maybe fifty sixty into the game. So how yeah! That's incredible. Yeah, along along with that and to me. It was surreal to play an open world game almost entirely in black and white. That was just I've never done anything like that before and. It was such a cool. It was such a cool experience. One of the challenges with eggs I would add is like since it's black and white. There's there's missions that use color as guiding, and so there are. There are a few missions of. It really struggles with, but for the most part we redesigned icons on the map so that it would work with answer, so you're not just looking at two icons ones. This color ones that color and we just changed the icon Lopate, but but yeah it, it's it's generally speaking. You can play through most of the game with it, which is just crazy. Yeah I think there was one mission where they're like find. The purple flowers was like Oh! I was to right back on, so that was good. Leads to so many great visual moments, and as you were saying I know we're running short on time I. don't want believe the too much, but I, genuinely really loved, and as pointing to earlier the the soundtrack and the way both game uses it. It comes in from quiet to loud, but also how the score changes both from the combat setting to the open world setting you know. Moments I would say not settings, but. That Jackson position as well as even on the side, the remixes that were coming out sort of in the lead up to the Games launch. There's so much great musicality and artistry. Bear that I think really. Elevate, so much of what's going on there on visual rebel to a works so well in tandem. You know there is no single discipline that contributes more to the game. The music like a known this case we have to composers, a team of people that obviously help implemented like their artistry is like. White just level things up so much like a scene without music in a scene with music. There's a world of difference in generally speaking I know it's not one contributor. There's quite a few people that make it happen. Processing and implementation, but it's insane. What music can do in for this game? It's it's. It's one of the best parts of the Game I. Think is the the the artistry behind the music in the soulful fullness in is is really I listened to it a lot. I love and then we tokens the glitch mob. Which is just? RIDICULOUSLY COOL! Yeah, it's an awesome combination i. do think as you were saying. It elevates so many great moments, but really. A drills home like the emotional undercurrent of everything that's going on in the game. Unfortunately. We're pretty much out of time. I think Brandon I could keep talking there so much. We love and really enjoyed about the experience and are continuing to enjoy. Time in this world, so Jason Thank you so much for taking time. We really appreciate it. SUPERFUND and thank thank you to your studio for. bookending this entire console generation with my favorite games. I I don't know if that was ever the plan, but the way that

"At the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater has been fired after allegations of sexual misconduct. Troy Powell was the artistic director of Aley, too, in videos posted on TIC Tac dancers alleged that he demanded sex from men who wanted to join the company. One Michael Porter. The second has a contributor to the Observer. He says many of the allegations have gone unreported. But in some cases, dancers say the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater ignored their stories. I've spoken with the young dancer who attempted to tell a senior company member at the Daily Organization and was told point blank in his telling, I don't want to hear it. Don't talk to me about Troy. Spokesperson for the Dance company says it learned of the allegations in June and promptly launched an investigation. 85

Cowboys' Prescott doesn't get deal to replace franchise tag

"Not Deal for. Prescott and the cowboys could not agree to terms on a deal that would have the quarterback between thirty three and thirty five million dollars annually with a hundred and ten million of that guaranteed. So Daf will now play this season on the thirty one point four million dollar franchise tag. He will once again on himself this season if there were reports that the two sides were close, they clearly were not close enough. WHO's more likely to regret? Not Getting a deal done deaf Prescott or the Dallas Cowboys. I'm going to say. Despite the fact that I believe is going to end up the highest paid player than Patrick Mahomes in NFL, history I Dak is going to get the money that he ultimately wanted I think he's going to be franchise tag this year franchise tag next year and then hit open free agency. But here for deck that in the in the pursuit of that money, he's going to become an athlete that I. Don't think any athlete wants to be which is your name is not your name anymore? It's not Dak. Prescott is having a Joe Johnson Joe. Johnson stopped being Joe Johnson. He started being Joe Contract because no matter how good he was, he was never going to be able to live up to that contract. And I think Jack is setting himself up to be a little bit richer than he otherwise would be. Be a guy who can never live up to that contract, and the reason I think Dallas is not gonNA regret this, even if they back on the quarterback treadmill is because the the worst thing you can have in this league. Wild does not have a quarterback. The worst thing you can have is a vastly overpaid quarterback. If you don't have a quarterback and find a new one, you can go try to find one if you have a vastly overpaid quarterback. You're just stuck and so I think Jack is going to get what he thinks he wants in this the most money in. Have ever gotten aside from Mahomes I. Think he will end up regretting it because you have a great organization, you have great skill, position guys, and if he would've just signed for Carson, Wentz plus ten percent, no one would've held it against him, and instead this contract and the negotiations around at wild. You're going to be the narrative surrounding him for years to come. See I disagree. You think that it's it's. I think the worst thing to have is a mediocre quarterback. Any shot at the super. Bowl and I'm GONNA throw to a clip of Darren Woodson in a second, but I think in our minds if it's been glossed over that, it was troy and then Tony, but there was a the drew bledsoe Weirdo error there that they were in a bad spot. If we can take a listen a Darren Woodson please hubs. In, the world when you have quarterback purgatory. Where you can. You're not good at that position. That position is holding you back from winning games, and there was a time before Tony Romo era. Where there were four years, we went five and eleven. In a week, totally struggled at that one position in in today's game that one position is means a ton means wins and losses gotta get you over the Hump in when you don't have that Clare in that position. It's a huge struggle. I'm. So. Bryan. I think this eventually gets done I. Don't know if he gets franchise again. I think that we just moved the goalposts and a long-term deals going to get done. They like each other. Dak wanted for the cowboys wanted five I. Don't think the answer is. Let's get divorced just because we can't agree. I think this eventually get works gets worked out and I. Don't think anyone has any regrets long-term. The cowboys ended up regretted. Just a bit because I think that goes out and has a very good year. This season with Mike McCarthy Mike McCarthy comes back in after winning a playoff game or two, and says we need to have Dak back now. The cowboys have to pay him that long term contract, which is going to be a little bit more than they would have had to pay him this year. Here's the question that I've always had. If if the cowboys don't love, why would they ever want to sign him to a five year deal versus the forty deal if you don't love them then? On to a four year deal, you can get rid of him quicker. Why would you want WanNa longer contract if you don't love him, and you don't know exactly what he is for your football team to me I think they know who back is they just don't WanNa, pay him because they see him as a fourth round pick. A guy that has played well in this career hasn't quite got over the Hump. I don't think they want to pay him if I'm back Prescott I, feel like I'm in a great position to meet the floor. The absolute four is thirty three to thirty five million dollar contract that you can get from some other team after the season. If things don't work out for you here in Dallas, I think a team like Jacksonville. Teams that would need a quarterback was still need a quarterback next year and would be that open market possibly if he doesn't give franchise in the floor to his contract would be that deal that he turned down this season from the cowboys.

"troy" Discussed on Based On a True Story

"Was most likely a real person. She probably was not the sole cause for the war between Greece and Troy the catch here. Is that we're not really sure what would have been the cause for the war? Maybe there wasn't a single cause for the war at all. Maybe it was a mixture of things and Helen was. The final straw when she went from Greece to Troy, or maybe it was something the movie hints, at a collection of Greek city states under the unification of Agamemnon trying to add yet another one to the mix to expand the kingdom as it were. Regardless of what that reason was though. We end up with a similar result, Greece on the beaches of Troy. Oh. And for a bit of geographical context. The location of the real city of Troy's believed to be in modern day Turkey on the northwest shore. So that would be east of Greece of cross the Mediterranean Sea. We talked a little bit about this earlier, but the archaeological site today is known as his Arlit and many believe it to be the city in the legend of Troy, there's evidence of the city that was inhabited for some four thousand years or so. And that its demise came by way of being burned and destroyed, although there are some thirteen different cities found at the archaeological site. Historians believe that one one city was destroyed. A new one was built on the site of the last city, so which of them was the legendary city of Troy, well, all of them, but I'm talking about the timeline, and that is a very good question. Maybe it was none of them at all. Well, we'll never really know for sure which if any of the archaeological sites were the city of Troy from the legends, probably the most likely one would be the site called Troy seven eight that's roughly a two hundred thousand square meter layer of the city of Troy that archaeologists believe was built on top of the site of the previous city. It was also Troy, but a previous generation after that was destroyed by an earthquake rough estimates for the population of the city were around five to ten thousand people, which was quite large for a city at the time. Oh, and that time would have been between thirteen hundred and nine fifty BC, which would date the city of Troy, seven a that site as being during the Greek Mycenaean era during the bronze age. So the timing seems to line up with the legends and it would. Have been an impressive city for that time to Troy seven. A was said to have had walls that were thirty feet tall or about nine meters, the remains of a single tower measured sixty feet by sixty feet at its base or about eighteen by eighteen meters and it's probably worth pointing out that in some versions of the story, the outer defenses of the real Troy was said to have been deep trenches. And then once you got past those, then you have to get past the massive walls. So if those versions of the story, correct, and it's not like you could walk right up to the walls, like we see in the movie, going back to the movies timeline now. We see the great war between the Greeks and Trojans begin it starts with Orlando, Bloom's version of Paris challenging, Brendan Gleeson version of men allows to a fight. He's trying to end the war before it even begins with a one on one fight. But men allows is a much better. Better fighter Paris, is soon beaten and crawls to his brother's feet. It's a move that everyone sees as cowardly, but nonetheless, Eric banners version of the great warrior, Hector doesn't want to see his brother die. So he tells me allows that the fight is over. Men allows doesn't listen and tries to strike at Paris in a swift move. Hector pulses sword and kills metals. According to the legends that is not how it happened, even though the one on one battle, we see in the movie was described by Homer in the Iliad. It was not Hector, who came to Paris his rescue instead, after Menelaus had beaten Paris. It was the goddess of love after daddy, who spirited Paris away to safety inside the walls of Troy, so the key points difference, there would be that even though Paris survived both versions of the story, both in the movie and in the Iliad so too did Menelaus that means he was involved in the war a lot more than he was in the movie sense. He died right away in the film. Speaking of which going back to the movies, timeline. Now after seeing his brother's death Agamemnon is furious the Greeks attack in full force, but they are no match for the defenses of the Trojans. They're driven back through heavy losses from a combination of the archers on the walls above and hector's army on the ground. But the Trojans don't completely route the Greeks thanks to the Greek archers who defend the beaches, the next day, the Trojans decide to attack the Greeks this time the Greeks manage to fend off the Trojans. They seem to be at a stalemate for the time, being this brings up a good point that I think is worth pointing out because the overall structure of how the movie portrays, the wars have bit off. If we are to believe the movie, the Trojan war took place, over the course of a couple weeks. Seventeen days to be a little more precise. However, according to Homer's Iliad, the war took ten year. Years during most of that time, the city of Troy was under siege by the Greeks. So that's sort of stalemate that the movie shows was true. But on a much grander scale than what we see in the film, and all that sort of gives you an idea of how historically accurate, the back and forth, that we see in the movie would be, as well, the Greeks attack the church's, defend the charge tactic Greek defendants Owen, according to the movie, though, a major plot point shows how the stalemate ends between the two opposing forces. And it's another one on one battle this time, it's between the two greatest warriors, Eric band version of Hector, and Brad Pitt's version of achilles. In a surprise to the Greeks Hector deals, a fatal blow to achilles

"I mean the fuck up very has visited us again. This deuce Brag chimed in about this whole Kevin Hart situation which. I'm sure you're going to talk about on your podcast. You know the one where Kevin Hart lost the job hosting the Academy Awards because he posted something homophobic years ago about how his son came home trying to play with his daughter's dollhouse or something like that he was going to react with physical violence. Okay not cool That's just my opinion. Well okay. Jim Are Cheesy tweeted about it and said quote no straight male wants his son to be gay. A gay son is a curse that takes away your family. Traditions and heritage. Lgbtq is a parent's nightmare that destroys families and ruins holidays like Christmas. Kevin Hart we support you end quote. Okay grant. What do you have to say about this one? Well you know what's a curse and takes away family? Tradition and destroys families is ignorance and intolerance. And that's exactly what he is what he did You know he's doing it. He's following the trump era that we're in. He's looking for attention he is like why would he you know he's such as such macho man you know. Why would such a family man feel the need to have to go on twitter and retweets somewhat and write that in response to it and endorse it? I mean really. It's so stupid you know I. My biggest regret is that we had him on. When I was on after buzz for the real housewives of New Jersey during that season we had them call in and I did. I did not know that he was a homophobe. I didn't know that he was a real like tea party. Republican nut But whatever he talked about a lot of things he gave us some dirt. I don't know what was true. It wasn't it was years ago. Who Cares but you know we follow each other and we would DM. This is way back when I when I saw this tweet that you're referring to. I went to twitter to follow. I had already on followed him. I remember it sure was something trump or immigrant related that I didn't agree with and I don't want to be associated with anybody like that so I hate in a way that I did have an interview with him. It was on a panel years back. Because that's not someone I want on my resume you know to be associated with. I mean the whole thing is uncalled for gusting ignorant. Yeah no I totally agree. Here's my feeling dot protest too much. I mean why are you chiming in about this if you are secure with yourself? There's no reason to say any of this and I was just shocked by it because I didn't like you and you're very much more personal dealings with him. I didn't get that vibe from him. You know I thought maybe it was just on a canvas next to the other ridiculousness that was real housewives of New Jersey. At that time it looked. He looked more normal than anyone. But seeing this. It's like wow. He's really extreme. I don't know I always thought he was stupid but this was just occasion. He used that Hashtag. Like liberalism is a curse that yeah at what was it. Loo- liberalism is a joke. Or something like that. Okay yeah I mean that just goes right there like the type of person we're dealing with? I mean it's one of those people that are just you know they're living in the ancient times and you know they're they're resistant to any type of change of progression right and I really truly hope that you know whether know he has to two or three children. I hope You know none of them you know feel burned from that if the going through anything in their life personally because to be bother to children and just say that. Put that out publicly. I mean you can't take that back right. Well that's the other question that I have is like. Why are people who are in the public putting out these statements? This is the kind of suffering career ending. It's the kind of stuff it's just. It's dangerous territory private about it. It's it's wild. It's why is new boss? He's on boss and he's he's looks up to trump. I mean He. That's the role model that we have. I mean that's that's what's happening online all over the place. These people are now feeling validated. To say what they want any ignorant crap they want because they feel validate. It's terrible but anyway that's view not very high via another. It's a whole `nother show but we. I think it was important to discuss here. Because we definitely are not condoning it all right moving on. I'm glad you brought it up. Thank you okay. Daniel molins This is also. This is a mess. the Ninety Day Fiance Star was at risk of losing her home until she asked for. Five thousand dollars in crowdfunding She or maybe it was her friends. Set it up for her like a gofundme page and she got it she got the five grand and she sent out a message to fans and she thinks the audience for helping her out. I'm just curious how we feel about this. 'cause I'm I feel one of two ways about it what about you? I don't have any loyalty to her. Like I mean I. I saw her on the show and the radio. And it's like I don't feel like you know like I would like you know. I'm happy for her either way. I do believe that a friend did not set this up for her You know why. Why would they? What are they gonNA get out of it? I mean it's it's exclusively benefit a her and her home. I mean it has to be a new low when you can't afford to pay your bills and I believe that the The and. I know everyone goes through things and she had a career. She lost her. Yes she wa- she had her hours cut back at work. Is that right? Yeah but still though. That's something that you deal with privately. I mean you know never would I even think to you and put anything like that on twitter? Nevermind ask for money. I don't ask for anything and I wouldn't never and I would never ask anyone for money specifically and it's just it's not a thing but it's a new low and I read the article that you sent me a new low in comparison to how she acted on ninety day. Fiance General for reality stars like this. This is the new thing her. I don't think personally it has to be a new low and you have to pay bills using a support yourself. I want one thing I wanted to say. I read the article and she's trying to save a trailer lot. And you know she only always the figure five thousand dollars right. Yeah and I think it's a rental by the way I don't even think it's like I don't think it's owning this thing. I was at five thousand dollars deep like it seems like you would have been evicted like the the rent on. The trailer cannot be expensive now. And that's something that's what I want to say with. This is like imagine being her age. You know she's not you know. I think maybe a lot of her earning years maybe behind her at this point and like you know like not having any money to even be able to live. It's it's a sad situation. It truly is a low To not have anything in the bank spending money on I probably men online. Who knows guess but true? Here's kind of a different perspective. A lot of people gave her heat for it but I kind of feel like well then. Don't donate like let her live. Okay Oh can we cannot expect people on ninety eight to be as savvy as somebody on shark tank and use the show as an opportunity to like pull promote an idea that they've been keeping in their back pocket. Would that be what I did if I was going to be on a reality show one hundred percent but I think we're our expectations might be a little high the other side of the coin? Yes I think. Don't donate to her campaign but she probably was like shucks. I had such an opportunity and a platform to do something. Maybe I'll just do a gofundme campaign it be like a last. Hurrah who knows? It's too bad you WANNA leverage from time on that. Show for something or anything out when you're busy let's show you. She's got her eye on the prize or some some full. I don't know but yeah there's this kind of crazy I mean I. I don't know I would save face but then I have to remember. People don't really care they just want the cash you know that's it was you've got nothing to lose at this point so why that's true. She should've asked for a lot more that she I bet she regrets not asking bet she jazz. They'll be around to put my money on it Okay we're talking about somebody who doesn't have money problems. Lisa Vander pump. Apparently and I just thought this was some interesting news. Lisa van doesn't own a credit card hours this even possible and when eighteen grant I liked that it was reported Fox News. I mean you out there. I have a credit card. Here's what I use it for our flights and hotels. I really I can actually and I you know I don't enjoy his Vanna pump. I rant about her all the time. I have no no interest. At least I can relate. I remember that Yeah. I pay through my my debit card and do cash for everything. I will put the big stuff like that on flights and hotels. And which really isn't that big but I will do that just to earn some type of cash back which is the interest rate is so damn low. I make nothing so I can almost kind of relate to her with this but I don't have banner pump money but what I do think about is the points that she's losing out on. I mean you know office somebody being. She's really missing out. You know I guess it right ours. She's been car. Fancy clothes makes strips. I mean you know imagine the points. I know I should actually. I should get her a credit card from my line. That's just in her name. I should get her a card. That's in her. Let her borrow it. And I'll just send her a bill or I'll help her pay. Here's this kind of sparked my curiosity and I looked it up. Grant she is worth seventy five million dollars. Please tell me where the fuck does that money come from? I cannot wrap my head around it. Well I mean I know. She came in with a lot of money from her overseas ventures that she started their husband the restaurants. I see how she can get to that level. We know the housewives. They've talked about the pay that they make the higher end but not that hundred K. A season is still does not add up to seventy five million dollars. I heard more was like almost a million because they had to keep around nine million dollars for doing nothing on a reality show for years after year. I mean you know it's good for her. She Must Invest Well. I. I'm curious what she is partners with or with you know. It seems strange to me. And here's why because because I started thinking about other restaurant tours right Wolfgang puck probably the most famous of them all right. He obviously started out at SPAGO in Beverly Hills. And then but now he's in. He has chain restaurants all over the place. Wolfgang puck express or whatever it's called so he's been his name. There's packaged foods that are in every grocery store. He is worth seventy five million dollars like it does make sense. How is Lisa Banner Pump? She has three restaurants in. La What do they have? I don't get it. I do not yet. Isn't she a partner in that restaurant so I don't think she'll outright so there's that so it's already like a two and a half. Wow I really can't figure it out something going on here. There's something going on. Maybe Ken came into the picture with a bunch of money but she claims article that they keep their money separate which I think is smart. You know I mean they've got plenty of it. Who Cares at a white you know but like I think it's smart belly? She's independent with that. My tickets a good thing. You know that way. She knows like me like I know. Exactly what's in my account? So that's how she manages our money. It's worked for her. I don't know it's still a mystery amid cracked that case all right moving on last but not least the hills specifically justin bobby from the hills. So the hills reboot called New Beginnings..

"It's Grant Rudder High Grant Loesch Ri- thank you for having me on the podcast. I'm ready to rant. I'm ready around with you. I was I was actually looking through your list of episodes and I was blown away. I couldn't even believe what I was seeing. You have been podcasting grants rants since two thousand and fifteen. It's has almost two thousand. Nineteen what the Hell I know. I had that realization recently too. I recently crossed over one hundred episodes. I've been guessing for a while but yes I mean just like one hundred and ten episodes at this point but I've I've covered a lot. I came in when the Kardashians were the only thing on page six like there was nothing to cover it so I've always said my show will not cover them. You know we'll talk about other things. Some older news like this is a safe space because it was when I started the show was ridiculous like the everything was just blanketed by Cam and the mother and now agenda younger lips so yeah I mean I do love doing it and you know. We'll see what happens. It's a ton of work and I was just blown away. I mean anybody anytime. I see anyone who's been over one hundred episodes. I'm like I'm never going to get there but to be doing it since two thousand fifteen. I mean what a time to get started and I was thinking back in two thousand fifteen. I didn't really even know what a podcast was. I mean I'm behind on the time in general a lot of a lot of a lot of different ways but I don't think I was to podcasts. Back then did you feel like you're alone in two thousand fifteen well. It was a good time to get it. I felt at the time when I started the show that I was too late. And I said you know I better get the show up. Because like at that point like podcasts. World like a thing at a lot of people before like two thousand fifteen this is before smartphones like really took off the way they are now people would download them onto their phone onto their ipods of the time or even their ipads and they use them for travel. Now of course. The people plugged in moberly. But at that point I was like damn like I'm GonNa miss this whole wave and now since I've been doing the show it's really taken off like it's really now. Every brand wants a podcast network wants show and that covers pop culture and so that's why I look into twenty nineteen and say you know what can I do differently where I can still cover pop culture but I'm not? I don't like lumped in to like. Oh you know you chuck housewives like you know I wanNa really kind of you know. Make it a different experience people and evolved the way the podcast has well and no one is safe on. Grant doesn't just talk about housewives. Nobody Save. He will talk some shit about any celebrity. It doesn't matter who you are equal opportunity hater. It's it's not all hate. It's just all rans the truth according to me right exactly and grant and I actually have something in common which I really appreciate. We both invite our senile elders to the show. I don't know if you would call. Your senile is certainly. Don't mind using that adjective. Gret like my prissy grant has his own version of prissy and it's your grammy is that right yeah granny. She cut down at the knees. If I call senile. She's a she's a tough one. Yeah usually have a call with her on the day where we created this podcast but I said look I'm busy. You GotTa wait so we're going to talk later on well. Don't tell her because she is. She's like a spicy one. I mean she's a firecracker and I actually discovered her before. I heard her on your podcast. I discovered her on your Youtube series which I encourage everyone to go and watch because it is a treat. She grant films them driving around in the car and she's just a riot and she has really strong opinions about everything it's hilarious. How did you convince her to come on and record with you had to really warm her up because she doesn't really understand well she didn't and now she's all over it. I mean now she's like asking constantly you know. What am I going to do it again? I have a book to promote. Like she is now a brand seriously. I brand ninety-year-old brand. But she's she's going for it But in the beginning of the video she was like what is this. I don't really know. Where is this going to go? And you know she has some haters a she thought the haters. We're GONNA look her up like you know the older friends so my mom the exact same thing. Yeah so we don't have find you so I would always tell her you better get the hair right the makeup. I want you in a for a coat and drinking why that's right and that's and that's what we did size and let the haters watch. Oh my gosh that we had some fun actually would love to do that again. believe it or not as much as I love having her on. We are very different people. So it's hard to find things that we both have opinions about. you know. It's hard to find common things so a lot of that is television. She watches everything on Bravo for me but it is hard to find things that like. She really even knows about our cares about That can really fill both like a two part Youtube thing. And then our podcast. So that's why I kind of chose the podcast over the video but who knows maybe I can convince them to get behind the wheel totally. It's it's funny that you mention her being nervous about people finding her. My mom who is also eighty. She was nervous. She was just she me she was like Troy. You better remind people that I have a gun and I was like okay. Calm down grandma like year fine. No one's coming after you don't worry about it. You're doing good doing more than most just for now but now she seriously as written books so now she uses the platform to promote her work. So she she's like a brand. She's out there just like him. K. and on twitter and active on whatever's out there trying to you know make a name for herself good for her good for her. Okay all right. We have a lot to cover here. So let's just jump right into this week's reality TV news and we'll just go through the list by name first. Up Ramona singer Ramona was caught making out with another. Then Harry Dubin. The two were caught mid make out session at a nightclub in New York. Grant initial thoughts on this story. Well I I literally count on my fingers now. I said well hold on. This is number four for him as far as we know of that we know of. That's true and then I hate to. Tmz I really don't care for TMZ. But I had to see the photo for myself. It isn't very unflattering photo for anyone. Okay this is what I was confused about. Because Harry was asked about the incident. People called him out for it and he said sorry. There are thousands of photos out there. There are pictures out there where someone looks like. They're doing something and they're not grant. They are literally devour each other's faces. Right yeah what is what is what do they think. What does he think they're doing in that photo? No it was really off. I mean like him. I mean it was enormous. I mean come on. How can you blame a camera angle these days? You know you just can't you gotta own it. There's no you can't make an excuse for something like that. I mean just thrown up and you know. Why is he embarrassed we have would be? I would be embarrassed if I kissed like that. Because their mouths were entirely open. Who kisses like that? Have you seen beetlejuice? Because you know there's two characters with the wide open mouths that look like alligators. That is what Ramona and Harry. Look like in this picture. You guys have got to go see this. I'm going to have to look this up. Beetlejuice mouth yeah like just these characters. It's what it reminded me of. Yes exactly I'm here's what I'm curious about. I'm curious why he's lying. Because that's for me as the Red Flag. I don't even find the kissing and making out like if they're to single people that's not weird and there's no reason to deny it. I want to know why he's lying about it because why not just say yeah unless one of them is trying to hide it from someone could be. Isn't he always in these open? Relationships could not. I don't mean to open but like you know he's always kind of in these like open ended. I guess I should say like relationships so I don't know why she wound her why she would want to get involved with him at this point. I mean she's going to turn into a joke. I mean if she already has it I just like I just hope it got caught on camera like that's that's all I care about. I WANNA see it on next season. Yeah hopefully someone will bring it up. They love to talk about page six on that show. I'm sure it'll surface speaking of somebody who loves page six. Let's talk about Sonja Morgan. Apparently Sonia is an Improv comic. Now she can add that to her list following toaster all the other things. The international fashion lifestyle brand can now add Improv to her resume Here's the story. She guest hosted an event at the Improv asylum. In New York City it was just like a one time thing is my understanding of it but grain right. You know it's GonNa be described as something much. Bigger as Sonia does as soon as she talks about it on the next season. It's GonNa be her her next Kabir less right. Do we know if cameras their housewives? Were there so I would assume that it was being filmed. I mean it sounds like one of these gimmicky things where they like. We got a film. That right yeah. I'm I'm hoping that it's on there because if not I don't really care the way because like you said it was a one off so like whenever but yeah no I. I can see like bill milk. This they'll have her go for a rehearsal and then they'll have our gopher meeting. Oh it'll be thing. Oh yeah totally. Yeah I enjoy her. I think that she is perfect for this. I'd rather see her do it. Then so unlike Tinsley or Luanne. Even I totally agree with you but here. Here's I actually got excited. I was like Oh there's going to be a show I'M GONNA go. Here's my question for you. Do you think she's funny? And would you go see her? If she had a traveling improv acting show it all depends take costumer. I guess you know. It better be like twenty-five under because I mean you know. She's not a gifted comedian. She's that someone right slung years of jokes at the comedy store. I mean thinks she has. She thinks she's hilarious. But I think I actually think she is hilarious but not in the same way that she thinks she's I think she's funny in candid moments that she might not realise are funny like that. That scene where she's laying in bed covered in tarps next to a bottle of pills a pair of dirty penny's and a pair of pliers. I think Erin Martin described as her staging her own death like those are the moments from Sonia. The I love. Oh Yeah I'm excited I want. I can just imagine. She must've been all like flirty loose. You know like moving around Sh- issues in a short drafts. I WANNA see her our comic shops. I went to how she did in those scenes. 'cause she's up against professionals right so you know. I'm sure they kind of. I don't know if you've ever taken an Improv class. But I'm sure they made pushed her along you know I'm sure they helped her through those moments. You know professionals. Because I don't think she probably knew what she was especially Improv. Doesn't think you can't really rehearse that stuff. So you know she has to follow the Improv rules and be in the moment and yes and I don't know if she can pull all that off in front of an audience I don't know I feel like she will probably just try and make everything sexual like I think that's her. Oh Jeez you know. It'll just be sexual. Yeah so all right okay. Next up this one. I'm not happy about Jim. Marchesi from real housewives of Jersey for anyone who's forgotten this is real housewives of New Jersey Star Amber Marchi's husband. They had a brief since Yeah exactly talk about someone who needs to go away..

"It in her eyes as the rage builds right and in this moment. I realized we are the crazy ones. Okay because the one thing my take away from nine hundred fiance is. This show has shown me that all of us Americans are totally fucking nuts. Have you do you pat? We are insane. I've been writing about that for years on reality. The whole point of this show is to show us who we are and I mean we as Americans because it is. It's it's very interesting more often than not this. Show in love after lockup which also by sharp production which is a very parallel show to this in many ways. It shows you. The person who thinks they're in control is actually not in control at all. So in the case of Ninety Day fiance the Americans think they have all the power and they think that they they know it all and it turns out when this foreigner comes over with old quote love of their life whatever the transaction is a little bit different than they realize you know. And the same would love after lockup which is coming back December seventh on we TV and you have got to watch that troy. You've got to watch love after lockup it's the same idea sharp entertainment put this out because of the success of ninety day and it's the person on the outside who falls in love with an inmate and it shows upon release day what happens to their relationship afterwards. The person on the outside is kind of like the American in ninety days. They have all the power until that person is released. And then you realize Oh. The person who was in prison just committed a crime. The person on the outside bat shit crazy right. They've been rehabilitated. In order to fall in love with somebody who is imprisoned. You've got to be totally nuts. I mean what does that say about a person? They met them on purpose because they were in prison because they could tell them get away because they also couldn't find someone else just like a ninety day you think. Colt is really scoring it up but the ladies of Las Vegas now more the ladies of any court let the ladies of Earth. Let's say you're not really. Is it his reach so he has got to go somewhere else and then he feels like he's powerful but he's not such you hit the nail on the. Oh it's deep it's deep it shows me. We're just fucking crazy. It us to be the crazy ones which we are and it makes me think about the times in my life that I've gotten into an argument especially with my significant other. Call me crazy if you WANNA see me. Go fucking crazy right. Well I will rage on you if you call me crazy and so I just. I just felt so familiar to me. Tanya space was all of our faces when anyone calls us crazy especially or CIGNA. You haven't seen crazy yet totally comfort. Yeah Oh my gosh okay. Let's play a little game of. Would you rather okay I? Would you rather trust one of your children with a sway Lou for one week or share a twin sized bed with Eric for one week? I'm going to swallow I. I'm putting my trust in him. "Yes terrifying you. You Buy Changer locks. Curiously I write my recaps every week and when they publish I just think please God let me live another. Because have you been on their radar at all do no. I have not been on the radar as far as I know but I will tell you that. This season six ninety day cast are lunatics on social media and they are gruesome and and lead Lleida. Whatever the hell is going after people directly in fact I interview a person this week on my patriot. Which is my private pink shake network that was directly harassed by her brutally and latest account was shut down right weekend so so she shut down on instagram so like in a nutshell like what was happening with her. She was having outburst but she was accusing. Tlc of doing false editing and making her look bad and all this other stuff but she was lashing out at people. What do you mean your all of the Oliva numb nuts do that? I mean they all go on the show and then there it's like. Have you ever seen this before now? I think that we have ratcheted up. I guess like unhinged quality to some of the players because they are foreign and I don't say that to throw shade or anything I just mean. I don't think they're ready for like an American TV audience of this particular should show which I love with all my heart. I say Shit. Show at love but nate when they see the rabid two billion viewers a week coming at them. They don't know what to do. And so later has responded by. Here's what her move has been. And it's really like above and beyond. She starts trolling pages. Pages that have recaps or pages that her fan pages on instrument. Whatever and she tries to find. It's not too hard to do. Comments that are derogatory toward her. She screeched screen shots them and she was creating fake accounts on instagram. To then go follow or friend. Whoever wrote these things and then she would capture their private pictures and make public memes out of them. My Gosh what. She does way too much time on her hands like a job. Change her parents to stop taking care of her. And now it's disgusting. Total hypocrite. Right giving Tasha his daughter hard time by the way him trying to send her to a Roach. Motel like you. I hope that your kids remember how you treated them when you get old and they send your bed. Ridden asked to a roach motel whenever you whenever you're ancient seriously that yeah. I'll get you one of those budget hotels in Barra Bill. Oh my God oh my God who is later to criticize? Tasha later is twenty nine. Tasha's much younger. She pays her own bills she pays rent. It's gross. Yeah she's a total. Let's actually get the the honest truth out there because Tasha has come out and said this at. I actually believe her. It is her apartment. She's on the move. What happened is yes get this. Here's some tea so it's Tasha apartment. Her name's on the lease which she mentioned in the episode but the deeper story is that she let Eric move in with her after her married roommates left because they had a child. That's why the fuck in place only has a single bed in the other room. That's why it has an air couch. That's why it has futons and that's why it has basically no possessions of Eric's anywhere to be seen there's no military memorabilia. There's nothing because it's Tasha's apartment. She let her dad move in. Because guess what Troy. He was homeless and living in his car before that of course we was of course now. He's acting on TV like he's really helping his daughter out but it's time for her to leave. I'm confused about how he is also looking for houses with what job like. What is he doing to prepare himself to move into a house with late? I'm confused I don't I don't understand. I'm convinced that he's about to collect social security because he's forty then. I'm thirteen right totally. There's no way that he's forty no way. And now he's like brandishing his birth record on social media recently and I'm just like whatever dude you've lived like it's in dog years that because you are so like an old looking and then he's posting pictures of himself in the military and saying look at this handsome guy the both of them. Here's what I love. I love that they're together because it's too terrible people together instead of us. It's always bad when there's a load some horrific person with a really sweet person so at least together and they take each other off the market and like just go away. Yes I totally agree and I and I have to say about her. She is a Brat. Okay she's she's grown she's spoiled Brat. I'm not even convinced. Her family has all that much money. They have like Indonesia money okay. Whatever but I'm Wisconsin. Pretty but people who say that her expectations are unreasonably high. Also need to remember that. They're they're high for ninety day. Fiance right like we have to remind ourselves. It's really not too much to ask to share a twin size bed okay. That's fine but she's awful when she's saying why don't you have a maid and all of this other bullshit it's gross. She's like I love this. She had to clean the apartment secretly. Because it's like you know she just never specimen I know they you're right. They do deserve each other. The only victim in this allesandro I mean. I really truly hope that Eric Cares for him but the way he treated his own. Children is not not an indication that he does yeah. Raina latest sister is really the one who was taking care of Allesandro because I never see later interactive. You're not even touch her child. What is that? It's and we'll also. Why does her fake ask? English accent disappear when she's angry like it just disappears. There's something weird going on. There's weird going on with that family. There's something very weird going on. I mean the fact that there is so much drama coming from these two people. There's so much drama coming from all of the cast. These two in particular like Eric was on instagram. Showing his gun and saying all the haters can come for him. He's ready. He's really really out there. I didn't I had not even seen that whenever I said. I think he's the next lone wolf shooter like that only confirms that's so Terry Cow. Okay moving on not so dark internet chat about Coltie and Larussa I. I've never cringed some much watching any one couple. And can I just say haven't sauced having salt? I want a big. Blackie not cheapie car with conditioning yes from colty. He won't buy me couch E he won't buy me see is actually my fave colts from Vegas. He's doing everything except sleeping with his own. Mom Debbie and I'm. I'm not even convinced about that. Exactly they have lived together for their entire lives except for a two year stint. They got back together. Here's here's gather. He looks like Janet Reno and his confessionals. I cannot see an else. He's got it's crazy. Look Larussa is from Brazil. She's easily excited by bunnies flowers and shiny things and this girl has really bad luck. That's my only impression of hers. She has really bad luck. She found the perfect sucker to bring her here and she ended up in Las Vegas. Yuck I miss you got arrested at Urban Las Vegas. Oh yeah totally even worse. I loved her reaction from the jump when she was like. I feel like I'm on Mars a hated here. There's no I mean it's like reality. Hit Her way. Sooner than usually it takes for ninety fiance the show follows. A pattern is like when the person gets here. They're usually really excited. And then reality sets in. I loved it. It just like slapped her in the fake. Oh Karma moment you can see in her eyes she was like I have made a terrible terrible. What have I done so unconvinced convinced that Colt and Debbie has mom are keeping prisoners in the basement. Okay there are definitely bodies hidden in the walls I. I don't even want to know what happens in that house at night. I besides the cats being dressed up so crazy troy bad even right this shit right. I saw the whole package of coal. You know what we saw package actually this week but when I saw that whole thing about him like dressing up cookie dough his cookie Joe Sweet stroger. I don't know what his castle names are him doing that. And then him saying the following line. A man's best friend is really his mother. I was like that is straight Seca literally. It's it's a gift of Norman. Bates he says that line in Psycho and then he says mother and I had had arthur going for quite a while. Now ristic at I. I mean screaming Emoji face same dark. Oh my gosh and it doesn't. It doesn't help that they look completely inbred either. Like you know this has been going on for gender rich in the family and he has that slow smirk when when. Larisa and his mom are fighting. You can tell. He like weirdly enjoys it like he. I think he thinks they're fighting over him is like a sign of both of their love. Like your who's stew is gonNA eat your. It's just so yeah. It's so freaky that his mom is one of the ladies. Who's fighting over him? So okay so this whole smirk thing you mentioned that makes me think about this moment in the Bistro. That was for me the most cringe-worthy and confusing scene because they're in the BISTRO scoping out for their reception right and he looks at this hostess. That is showing them around. And says I like your glasses and then and then Larizza accuses. Him of flirting like says that he's a womanizer. I'm sorry bat. I guess other people but I didn't pick up on that. I just found him to be socially awkward. I did not pick up on that yet. Thank you I actually went on the Jenny McCarthy show earlier today and we were talking about this scenario because I was like is that are we all in the upside down all the things that we're going to actually think Larussa needs to be jealous about other women. You know like Colt her owner and pet runnymede like they're not even on the same. They're not even the same species. Practically and Colt. Flirting is like so far out of the realm of possibility. That's why he had to get a mail order bride so Larysa is just deeply insecure or something because the reality of this is like coal. It does not even compute. I don't even think for him to flirt she. That's why Russia got arrested recently. All all the shit hit the fan because she was posting. That Colt is flirting with all these girls online. I'm like so we're we're actually supposed to believe the his cats and what was his mom right. There's no way that this guy was flirting unless there's some unique artistic way of doing it. I don't get it at all. He's got her brainwashed and just before he eats her brain because I do not think that he was flirting. I did not pick up on thirty and I was I was..

"All right. My guest today needs an introduction about as much as she needs knives which is to say not at all. I know I'm not alone when I say she is. One of the big reasons we kept coming back for more in seasons one and two of the real housewives of Dallas and so far season. Three is no exception. You don't WanNa mess with Texas and you don't WanNa mess with her or her Magdala or her panty liner for that matter. It's an Army punk turned Dallas Dame Leeann luck and highly n hi-. Oh my God. That was awesome so true. I'm not about to mess with the mcgilla. So don't worry don't don't send my off. It doesn't go well for people. Who Do we've noticed? Trust me. We have noticed okay. So let's just get it all out in the open last week. Sure my mom. Prissy bless her heart had some very colorful things to say about mislead N. yes she is definitely a Deandra. Fan C. C. Deandra Fan. She's not ashamed to say she may have said you. Were a kept woman. There were some red flags chatter. I am DB. She needs me. I'm no kept woman at all. That's kind of that's what I told her I was like. I don't think that's the case I had your back I've never been a kept woman. There's not a single piece of clothing or accessories. That richest bought me. I mean now. That's that's my thing I had your back so don't worry about that and the last thing was that you were turning into Melissa which I personally thought was a compliment. I think that sounds fabulous costume. Lawler would make a good Melissa. Anyway let me let me ask you. Did you ever think an eighty year old woman could throw such shade? Your mom is just a a one of a kind of a one of a kind. The reality is also like you know. I think a lot of people like your mom. You know they they have a heart for they see the person who's struggling the most and right now that definitely as Deandra and you know you want US support the underdog and I get that but you know this underdog bites so. Be careful what you support. I'm GonNa let her know and you can turn on a dime. I wouldn't be if tomorrow's I opening. Okay well we can't wait to see. I did tell my mom. She better sleep with one eye open. You know she lives in Texas too so she just making it. Easy cannot be held responsible for what comes out of that woman's mouth. Okay I hear Ya. Sometimes I can't help be held responsible for what comes out of my mouth. I hear you. I feel like we need to start a new show called the real gangster granny's of Bravo. Tv It'll be prissy. How all Mama D Patricia Cultural Mercedes Mom Vida from the Shahs of sunset the Old Lady Gang from Atlanta. Exactly exactly someone's GonNa kick you imagine what you would learn out bitches. Don't die easy and they'd all be having the same drama that the young bitches do. Someone's going to take a walker to the cooter. Someone's Bonita is GonNa get swamped. Relax and be like you'll a woman can't keep your hands. You know what I told her by the way I said. I wish I was a kept woman who she actually. Okay sounds like an easy life. Okay Leeann well. It's been a while before the taste of reality podcast ever existed Leeann. I sat down for a little one on one interview. And I'M GONNA repose that transcript for on this podcast page for everyone to go back and read. It's actually really interesting to see how things have changed. It was actually one of my favorite interviews because it was back when the show was just getting started. And you were so candid about the experience and how you were just kind of rolling with the punches. A lot of thought that Dallas was going to be asleep or season when it was first announced and here. We are three seasons later. And it's one of our favorites plugging along. Are You surprised? Totally one hundred percent who knew that people would find our lives so interesting interesting. You told in touch magazine that the show wouldn't exist without you and I'm not disagreeing with you at all. Wait a minute. Where was that in quotes. It was that common in close. Aren't they say? Oh maybe they said it. But you didn't deny okay all right all right. It's not enclosed. You CAN'T ATTACK OKAY. All right fine I'll give you that Do you do you struggle without me. That's for Damn sure okay. Well there we go go for moment to Leigh Ann's neck liens hands shut out this year. I don't feel like it's a hand one neck. Ring that bell to keep those hands obey do that. Ball dented so one of the things you mentioned in our first interview was how you weren't trying to pedal your wares or put your name on any clothes okay. But this season we saw you kick off an interesting twist on fashion. What's with the change of heart and tell us all about it well. I'm not really trying to peddle my wares it. You really look at the dress for what it is it perfectly in line with what. My brand is which is always trying to help someone. This dress is about trying to make sure that women who can't afford one hundred and seventy five dresses can buy one dress. And now they have the ability to have one hundred and seventy five dresses without. You know it's like yeah it's like how do you make your dollars go further and this is how you do it with every single time. I create a new set of attachments. You're extending the longevity of the dress so you this is address. That goes from a simple little dress to an evening Gal. That's really smart. You know. Yeah no that's smart so this was This was something that I've had migraine for probably fifteen years and I just you know came across the sketch this year and I just thought you know what now I have enough behind me in my bank account all these other things that I feel like. Maybe let's try to do this and see what happens and you know listen. I basically sketched a triangle and gave it to the girl manufacturers line. I was like this is a Cape Sleeve. And she was like this is a triangle. And I'm like yes I know. Now make it look good so I mean I'm not saying I'm like some genius stashes designer saying listen. I'm just trying to help women 'cause if you find one dress that looks good on you and you could wear it more than one time. That's a that's a gold mine totally okay. That's what that's what I feel like. The stresses hopefully will be two women and people are loving it and okay and I'm no grounds fashion expert. Okay but I like it because this is totally a guys approach to fashion because a of guys have a ton of different clothes but tend to gravitate toward the same outfit every day with just a few minor changes to really switch things up and it just keeps trying women simple and clean and easy. I like it. I think it's really interesting. Well thank you and what I love about. It is up bandaged type based dress so it's like wearing ten times thanks. Oh so it's super comfy keeps it all comfy hold you in and makes you look anything from daytime fabulous to eating elegant? Okay when is? When is the men's land coming out? Forget I never even gets them in a stick figure never say never never say never say never there you go work on it so so. Where can people score the collection right now? It is only available on our Schopflin SANITY DOT COM website We'd launch November twenty first with The fashion show on during season. So we'll launch line the twenty-first and be ready to ship. I'm excited sweet. And if you're looking for liens little black dress. Add the link to this podcast page so everybody can find a and we actually did an article on taste of reality dot com. So I'll re post that for everyone to get all of the details and it's just in time for the holidays right so perfect. It's a great holiday gift. I mean basically you're really are. How many times have you seen a woman sneak up? You know baggy clothes in the house. We'll hear you don't have to sneak it anymore. Here's address you can literally change up. You know I mean to me. That was like the goal was like. I have dresses that I'm like God. I love that dress. Lets me so well? I wish I could wear it again. And I'm like oh I just two weeks ago probably shouldn't do that you but you're like I really want to so B- we're starting it in black and I you know I'm I'm if once I get through my wedding planning and my wedding. Then we'll probably expand the line into other colors dresses and other colors other a colored attachments. I mean this is really like yeah. This is something that I could see this being like a resort Bridal Party dress. You know what I mean. Yeah Yeah Yeah totally you could. You could have it down for the wedding on the beach. And then take the bottom off and change the sleaze. And now you're going into a disco GONNA send prissy one. This is perseus Christmas gift this year. I wonder how we'll take picks okay. Another thing that we talked about before was your engagement to rich. Okay and back then being slide and you were hiding your ring from me because we were skyping. But you've been actually I know but you've been engaged for a year now but yeah okay a few people namely some of your best frenemies have been speculating about when or if you're actually going to get married. So what can you tell us about getting hitched?.

"Okay okay. I have one of those twenty three and me tests done and I think you have some explaining to do. Okay let's just. Let's just paint the picture for everyone? You are blonde and you have blue eyes. My siblings are blonde haired blue eyed and I am dark skinned with Brown hair and eyes and I want you to tell me right here and right now who is my father. And what was the milk? Man's name well. I don't know who your father is. I at least you're being honest now. Okay that's right. I think you are not the only brown hair brown ad and I don't see anybody else in the family looking quite like me again. Thanks for the genetics. If they really are yours but looking at this twenty three and me thing it shows we don't have anything. We have no relation to anyone in Denmark but seventeen percent Iberian. I mean how do you explain that we're part Spanish? I don't Explain that you'd have to ask my great great great Ben. I don't know about that. I think you might be the shady one and the results of that test determined. That was a lie We need to go on. Maury. That's Ripe. We do need to go on my. I think that would be wonderful. I would just be so happy for all of my friends to know that I was going to do that. All right next up de host a cooking class and Deandra is hoping to use it as an opportunity to fix her friendship with Leeann. Mom Cooking is apparently very important to these ladies guarantee. I'm a better cook any. Actually I do not disagree with you and I would be willing to put one of your dishes up against Mama Ds. Okay but I want you to fill in the blank here. D- says that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach and Leeann says a way to a man's heart is through blank. I'll have to think on that one. Do you remember yes I do? I don't want to say that something you can get. Don't remember the exact words something you could maybe get around up. Maybe okay all right. So Cameron shows up with her mother-in-law. Jimmy West Scott who is apparently the socialite in Dallas. Right and she of am. I wrong here okay. I'm just going to say. She looks like that. Cat Lady Jocelyn Wildenstein. Do you know who I'm talking about. Yes I do and yes she does what is up with this style of plastic surgery I don't know but it is pitiful. Why do all these people try to look like the cowardly line? That's right. I know it's like this weird I it's like they flip through a book and the find a book of Feline Expressions to choose from and they all end up looking like cats. I don't get it at all and looked ants because their faces are frozen from talked. No I don't think I have had plenty of Bo talks and I don't think I'm looking catlike if anything in making friends and bad plastic surgery yes I think that that's it. It's like fillers or something I don't know it's a mess anyway. All right Deandra friendship with brandy comes into question here and it feels a little premeditated. Don't you think yes okay? What's your take on this situation? Cameron and Jimmy her step mom and Leeann giving her a hard time with brandy. What's what's your take on the situation because none of them like brandy and so. They've all decided that she is not a to their standard water. Went after right. Well what does all this business about being in society is correct? Me If I'm wrong but when you think of Dallas do you think of socialites and you know really like a posh lifestyle I don't know I don't I don't either. I mean I have lots of relatives in Dallas and it's not like that right no I mean I don't care what you say. Texas is not that old. I mean in comparison to the south like the real south. It is not not old and I don't understand. It's all nouveau riche. To me I don't know yeah all right well later. Deandra Calls Cameron out there at the art release of the wall. You know her husband took the photograph and Deandra calls out for the whole situation. Feeling like a set up and Cameron says well. Jimmy is not someone you want to. Piss off okay. It sounded like I don't think yes. Yes okay what advice would you? What advice would you give to Deandra? I tell her nor them and be friends with Brandy. My Gosh who wants to be friends with Kamran early and either one. I know they're going to hold you to these like really high standards but one thing is really confusing too because Leeann has a real foul mouth. And Sodas Cameron actually. She's standing outside and she goes. She's acting like an effing bitch and I just don't get it. Deandre seems to be the only one who's really composed. The whole thing is really confusing to me. But that being said the next episode looks like it's going to be a lot more entertaining. Don't you think yes? I think it's going to be things are going forward to it. That's where things are. GonNa get riled up. Leeann is talking about bringing her hands again. I don't know you probably this. But she's got these infamous hands they're just hand and yes deandra and Leon almost come to blows in this episode and then we see carry heading off to Denmark to meet her long lost family. Mum Maybe we can start planning a trip to Spain. It's fine my real dad. What do you say maybe so we could find out who your daddies. Thanks a lot mom all right. That's all the time we have for today. Mom Love Ya thanks for coming on. I'm going to let you go. Take your pills continue? Oh yes I will continue taking your narcotics and I hope you sleep. "Hi thanks for joining me. I'm so impressed with your year Texan. Okay listen people don't know this. I was actually born and raised. Well not raised but born in the panhandle on a ranch and up until I was about the age of twelve I was like taking care of goats and feeding pigs and driving a combine and I live in a totally different life. I had no idea I didn't know we had goats in Texas just kin- Q. They were really cute until my neighbor. took them and came to school the next day and said. Oh thanks for those votes. They were delicious. How traumatizing is that? That is traumatizing. You earned your body. Then that's right so okay I WANNA get into season three a little bit later but first I wanNA talk about you and your history before the show because I feel like there's so much there that we need to know and we only got a little taste of it on season two so you were born and raised in Dallas Right. Yes actually. I was born and raised in two thousand only cast member that actually is born raised in Dallas and. Actually Jeff are six generation. I gotta I gotTA check it again. I'm either fifth or Sixth Generation Texan which is pretty cool and so I know a lot about Dallas in a lot about Texas and I know a lot about the. The INS and outs of health. Society works here which you hear a lot about that. Run out in this season. You'll stay here a much more about it so well. I always imagined everyone else in Texas. Even in the big cities were that they were going to Rodeos lion dancing milking cows livestock auctions. So I get the sense that maybe that wasn't you and your family. You're right actually. When I was little my grand my dad so my biological father was is not. Glenn Simmons Glenn. My mother and Glenn Married when I was six run. He raced from that time. I was four. And that's how I my last name is Simmons. Because when my mother married him? I actually didn't take his last name until I was eighteen because he had raised me my whole life and my mom felt like we talked as a family. That was the right thing to do So anyway my biological father had a Mike. Grandmother had a sister with a big ranch in Ranger Texas near Stephenville and as a young girl I would go there every at least I don't know every few months or it could have even been. It could be in been once a month because I went to see my grandmother and Kilgore Texas in a moment to Stephenville ranger and I had read horses starting at three. We went butting for crawfish. They had all kinds of animals and it was it was a part of your real Texan. And that's Kinda learn how to ride and things like that. It is a little. Garon horse is three to four years old. Oh wow how interesting. I would have never guessed that I thought you were a city girl through and through so have you ever. Have you ever touched an utter though? Now I probably have sure not on ranches and my dad and his brother had a big glenn in his brother had a very big ranch in Arkansas or thousand acres in and I learned how to shoot into fish and all the kind of outdoors things that we do down here in Texas. You know explains why. You're so tough now. I was kind of curious. Yeah and I'm a really good shot. Skeet shooting range and we have a trap shooting range at that ranch so we also used to shoot tin cans. We didn't have that so I used to work with as she with a bow and all that kind of staffing just refund for targets would love to do that kind of stuff and you saw me last year with a cherry. We went out to the rain Has Some that you do? If you're a Texas girl but of course I was aggressive. My mother was in the fashion business. She was very glamorous she still is and I developed a love for close as early on as a young girl Never that's never gone away so I loved and whenever I left to go to college eighteen in Virginia and when I came back to my parents my mother was in society at my age. She was cheering events. And things like that but it really wasn't her cup of tea person as she really liked doing that more than she liked. Kind of the Kapisa. Boss Yeah the competition between society women is just. It's really exhausting and finally pretty much walked away from it when I decided to do real housewives. Because it's just one of those things where this kind of show in this format. Is You know people kind of a lot of people love it. Allowed people to love it. Let's just put it that way. You know yeah I can imagine. We'll get to that but I want him back up just a little. What was it like growing up and Dallas? Well you got to remember. We're talking like eighties. S and his seventies eighties in the wind was in the bottom economy was at the early nineties. I can't remember Ho so glamorous it was jet airplanes in everybody had these big fur coats injured aeroplanes. Diamonds and opulence in Jr was you know in Dallas was the biggest show on TV. That's what Dallas really was. That's how my mom. She walked out of the House and into go to these. Glamorous dinners My Dad in Herald they had planes and we traveled to dinner in New Orleans and San Antonio just for fun and just as it was money. Like W is just like water like oil floating around everywhere like streets so it was really amazing. I mean it was just Dallas in Texas in general. I think it's just a little bit over the top. Were definitely not discreet. Would measure yeah. We're not discreet. Were not like Blueblood ish like they are in the east coast very showy probably There's no such thing really as old money in Texas. I would say like you would say on the east coast and also little different. It's all nouveau riche right. I don't care if you're hot. You're still nouveau riche. You know that the white is sure came later so it makes sense today. What do you like the most about Dallas? What do you dislike about Dallas? What I love about my city is that everybody's very friendly in general. I mean you can use people. Just have that southern kind of hospitality about them but what I now Dallas has changed so much we have. Most people don't know this. The biggest arts district in the United States is in downtown Dallas. So we have people that are really into arts and so we built this beautiful Opera House. A beautiful theater with the booker. T. Washington at Center for the Performing Arts School that People Air Kabar Do nor Jones went to in. Its is to be on the board there. We've got a beautiful symphony. So people are really walking arts district so I love the fact that our city is becoming more of an art city. We have the park now. Clyde Warren Park that is like our baby baby central park that walk around and that's beautiful You've got the shopping. And you have the number one cosmetic counter in the world at Neiman Marcus at North Park. You would never know the. Dallas has all this stuff? I mean you can buy anything you can. You have great restaurants you have A. I think we have more restaurants per capita. I'm not saying they're all as good as they are another cities. But we watch and I believe that you having the choices we have in having everything I live in highland park in its access close to downtown close to North Park everything and then also you can drive a few hours away. Be IN THE HILL COUNTRY. Beautiful there be down different places in Texas where they have fresh water springs. And you can go get peaches in the summertime. You can go. Here's some good music at Green Dance Hall and new braunfels also Texas has its own culture but it also has a sound level of sophistication. That's different but it it's going to be a little more. Glam more show Asian probably under in the US but that's kind of we were republic. I mean we. We still have a nationalistic Attitude about being republic at one point I would definitely that definitely exists. Well you've got me sold but let's get real. What are some of the things that you dislike about it? Some of the things I just like about it. I believe that. Have some really good friends of unlucky for that? I've had friends for a long time. But some of the cattiness that goes on among women here. I think is unnecessary in southern shade. Yeah that-that's something that I really don't enjoy. I did exit myself out of a lot of the charity events in Dallas. Because I felt like at one point. It's not about the charity anymore. It's about you know who's cheering deaths. pictures in what paper? And what you know. Who's on the best dressed list in whose husband is running the biggest check and it a lot of times? It's women cutting other women on and that's just not my game. I don't like that so I worked very hard in established myself as one of the fundraisers in this city. And then when you're at the top sometimes people wanna cut you down and that's kind of what happened to me and it was very disheartening. Hurt my hurt me for a long time. That would I have done so much. Women were jealous and they been treated me fairly in. Data's the only thing I think that really kind of a little la. But I don't see the level of cattiness in judging that we. We have here a lot of other cities. My girlfriend's it went to college with me in Virginia. They are all been on the east coast mostly in the day Communist. This is ridiculous. I can't believe you know people are fighting about these silly things talking about these things and you're not women into a clever or a position because they're jealous of something. I mean it's that kind of things I don't like about Really in the women's kind of circles here I think that's all over Texas too. I think that that's taxes thing. That's a Texas sized drama infringe on the other hand. There's lovely people here and not everybody's like that when you're in like a little society group. I think that people tend to focus on things that are really not important in the bigger scheme of things. And there's a lot of competition which is unnecessary. Because then you cut out. You'll that can do a lot for the city because I don't like her so she's not going to be able to do this or and that's not how. I would vote people in two different organizations all the time that I didn't care for but they could raise that money and I voted in thinking about the charity. Not about myself and I don't have to go have lunch with cocktails or do anything with them. As long as they brought the money to the bottom line you swim in and have a bigger macro picture. Not just about like Suzie because her hair is this way or her husband has more money or we steepest so people get exclusionary with charity. They kind of like pit charity against one. Another Interesting that's dirty. That's the only thing I don't really like besides Dal besides that I. I don't like the heat to match. Yeah I don't blame you okay. So if somebody were visiting. Where is one place that you would recommend? They shop one place he would recommend they eat One place you recommend. They go out at night so shopping. Obviously they've got to go to highland park village because that's like our little Rodeo drive area and that's where you find all the beauties chanels and the YSL and you find the dior and all that good stuff there at and my friends. Lisa Heather Lisa Summers in Heather Washburne. own that and at least it has a beautiful shot..

They're of course if you need inspiration you can browse taste of reality dot com to find all the locations from all your favorite shows all right. Let's talk the news this week in reality. Tv Bethany Franko WanNA fight in court to have a trial that will determine if she can gain permanent primary custody and right to choose of her daughter. Brin a judge slammed Jason hoppy and his attorney after they suggested that Bethany not only lacked parenting judgment. For leading Bryn spend time with Dennis shields who passed away from an overdose but she herself might have a substance abuse problem following her behavior on the real housewives of New York trip in which she appeared inebriated running around without clothes before passing out. The judge turned their nose up at that allegation citing with Bethany who had in fact not move forward in her relationship with Dennis congrats. Speaking of Dennis fans were slamming. Carole radziwill for her twitter response to his death. And why all because she didn't include Bethany in her well wishes what the fuck people that is just ridiculous. Do you know how creepy it would be? If one of my ex's died and one of my friends put out a public statement that said Oh troy. I'm so sorry for your life like fuck you you Weirdo. I'm still here. Carol is a class act and I have no doubt that she sent her condolences privately. Also Carol I'm still waiting on you to call me okay by Thomas. Ravanell is claiming to have quit southern charm. Yeah fucking right. His latest tweet said I'm not doing the show because in the contract they have the right to fictionalized your story. All right. Say what you will about people leaving or being fired from a show who cares but we can all agree that Thomas needed to go. If you need any more prove please go back and listen to my interviews with Aaron Martin. Who has the full scoop on his indiscretions? My concern is though whether or not the show which you all know is one of my favorites will be able to survive. I think it needs that old southern money element and unless they find it. I really have my doubts about its future. Rumours are also swirling that Thomas Ravanelli and Ashley Jacobs have officially split. Apparently another podcast told people magazine. That Ashley had disclosed the break up to her in a recent phone call Ashley later confirmed the split in an instagram live video requesting that fans hook her up with some eligible bachelors. Hey I hear Jimbo Lena's back on the market but then this morning I saw Ashley and Thomas were caught a photo by some stranger who would snap their pig at home team barbecue back in Charleston. So who knows what the fuck is going on there but I am pretty curious about it all right. A little ninety days fiance news whore. Hey Nava told fans he is going on a year. Long vacation dumped entente to prison because he got caught transporting marijuana. Nobody knows what his plea deal with the state of Arizona might until but all we know. Is that an pieces baby. Dreams are definitely on hold in other ninety day. Fiance News people freaked out when they saw a photo of any swain not wearing her wedding ring. This is just one of the problems with mirror. Selfish people one wrong angle and you can shut down the Internet. It turns out her other hand was just being used to take the photo. What a relief. Alright that's going to do it for this week's reality news for more of this juicy gossip head on over to taste of reality DOT COM and check out the buzz blog. Stay tuned Deandra. Simmons is coming right up. All.

"Because you're like this is what I actually do. Yeah and I I I forgot. Those frustrations actually came out. And you're like no no no like this is. This is my line of work. Yeah instead that's what I was trying to say belittling her telling her she can't do it. I was just frustrated because I was like. How dare you guys throw me under the bus like enact like job when this is actually what I I mean? Not This not what she does. But it's like her side Gig when it's actually my full good feel like do you feel like she's the one who maybe threw a fit about you coming back to the show. I'm going to plead the fifth on this one. Well that speaks volumes I think we can read between the lines Just from like a someone who watches a lot of reality? Tv It doesn't seem like a very good choice on Bravo's half because you made great TV. I feel like well thank you. I don't think that I'm I'm gone. Completely hooked yeah. We'll just we'll see you know to me again. You'll see that on the season two is that I'm I have a lot going on so it's not like my only thing you know so if if I don't continue to be part of the show then I better stop in in you know. Some of the CAST members. Don't have that option so It's a little bit different and I'm not. I'm not going to change who I am to to fit into a mold for TV. You know and I want viewers to know that too. It's like I am one hundred percent of the time all the time and so if I was to kind of alter that to kind of fit in then that would that'd be really against. That'd be super hypocritical for me as a person in general so yes and you know what? What are your thoughts on? Hey good speaking of somebody who does have stuff going on What are your thoughts on? Hey good I think she's a really sweet girl and you'll see her and I have some some some really Good conversation at in the future And I think she's just young and I think that she's looking for her way and I think that she needs to find her voice But I think she's you know a beautiful girl. How old is she anyway? She's like twenty four or something Yes who around twenty three twenty four young? I I like are like you said before. I think she's gorgeous. I actually feel like kindred spirit with this girl I also grew up on a ranch though mine was like it was like a thousand acres. It wasn't twenty four thousand She surprises me though. Because her family seems so southern southern style rigid and she talks about witchcraft kissing girls while also been through Castilian and private school. And all of that. It feels like very post millennial. Don't you think yeah absolutely I am. I think she's a cool gal because that should never would have like. I could never have talked about any of that stuff whenever I was twenty. Three in my gosh no way and. I couldn't even talk to my parents about dating until I was already pregnant and married. I'm like I'm nervous for her for what her parents see it. Because they're going to be like you're coming back to the ranch and we're chaining you in the barn boy okay. Let's play a little Word Association. I'm going to say the name of one of your cast mates and you just GonNa give me the first word that comes to mind okay. Rapid rapid fire right Louis socks good. Lyle Apple Hannah. I'm not gonNA tell you. What came to Catherine Vodka and vodka? That's good that's good hugh. That's pretty accurate brandon the Gay Daniel. Okay and Hey. Good horses Amazing those are all really good. Those are all really good. All right so what can we expect from you for the rest of the season and you know to be honest? I don't know 'cause thick I don't get surprised you last season. Yeah I have no idea. I would have never thought that things would have been the way last season And this season I don't know what they'll use you know I It's not a lot. There's not any sort of crazy drama or Well maybe on the last episode but You know I think it's kind of I don't show any skin by the way I took notes southern lady I know I was really looking forward to it. I am. I'd had enough of getting she. Body shamed constantly Bodies did you really get body shamed. Yeah what was always about. You know women don't understand. Is that like the reason? I'm confident is that I don't care like an eye see flaws in myself hugely and so part of it is me trying to encourage people. I've tons of stretch marks. You know like I'm not I I I don't see myself as having a really great body and so it's kind of like I just dress how I want to dress and investing around me. It's not for attention or it's not to be sexy. It's just because I'm I'm just comfortable my skin now but it wasn't always this way you know when I was younger you know throughout high school and Middle School I was extremely insecure with my body And very uncomfortable with the way I looked and No I haven't had tons of plastic surgery like they said But you got talks on. The show is destroyed. The women like yeah. I don't have any wrinkles but that's not because I'm just perfect. You know I didn't feel like I didn't know anyone was giving you a hard time about that. I always thought it was great that you were owning it and Yeah I love seeing you go in there and get pumped up and I thought that was great. Would you be down for a season? Three of Savannah. If they asked you to come back we will see. I don't know you know Like I said I've got. I've got this stuff going on now on this movies and And to me you know this sort of the the this is my real job and tell us about. Tell us about the movie. It was so exciting. You know I've never been In a Hollywood feature as like a you know supporting look a roll roll And I worked with. Gabriel Byrne WHO's Is a nice guy and I had no idea what the fuck I was doing. Did you have to do. You had an acting coach and all that and where. Where were you filming? No winging it totally winging it. I'm the director just believed in me which is really a huge compliment and I told him I was like I don't do it. You just be you and do it and really right in with the rest of Hollywood. Right they can till you make it as doing with the actor But it was a doctor. Is that right? Yes I play a doctor so I kind of talked to my parents about what that means and they're both doctors. They're both doctors correct. Yeah so my role in the movies really cool. It's like Super Chill and I'm the one that kind of like turns things. Wet Round like a positive way and supportive and Very hippy vibe. Yeah IT LOOKS. It looks super interesting and what a great opportunity. I'm definitely looking forward to checking it out and I'm also looking forward to seeing more of you this season and I really hope it's not short-lived I hope that we get to see plenty more of you. Well we'll see but thank you for that. I appreciate it and thanks for taking the time to come on today. Tell people where they can follow you. So I'm Ashley Dot Borders on Instagram. "I'll post that link on the episode page and Facebook so you can find it. Come hang with US literally all right. Let's get into some of the latest juicy news this week in reality. Tv LUANDA LESS UPS has officially made her exit from Rehab in Connecticut. Where she spent less than three weeks she left to prepare for an upcoming performance of her live. Cabaret show Hashtag Countess and friends in Atlantic City. I'm no expert but the average. Stay FOR PEOPLE IN. Rehab is thirty days with some making a stay as long as ninety days. Point is this just wouldn't have been long enough for someone with a true addiction especially one who's been in and out. I've said this before. I don't believe Luanne has a drinking problem now. An entitlement issue so severe that a person makes threats and assaults other people. Maybe a drinking problem doubtful either way. Look out for Countess and friends coming to a city near you and sign me up to Southern Charms Catherine Dennis is rumored to be in talks about being on the Bachelorette. This would be the crossover of all crossovers and I for one would love it. The news came following a curious fan asking Catherine on twitter. Hey would you ever consider being the BACHELORETTE ON ABC? That would be amazing. Catherine's response. Actually I'm kind of talks about it. The only thing is that there is usually some sort of non compete clause in these reality. Tv contracts so basically. Bravo owns her. But that doesn't mean she couldn't do a relationship style show on Bravo either way. Count me in for watching following her dismissal from real housewives of Atlanta Kenya Moore had an army of fans picketing outside the embassy building at Rockefeller Plaza. Okay so maybe it was a modest turnout of just about five people but hey a movement is a movement and team twirled doesn't play. They came ready to show Bravo executives that they meant business sporting homemade signs and shouting chants including Boycott Bravo Boycott Bravo and Kenya. More team twirl. According to another report the crowd also shouted. What do we want Kenya? Who Do we need Kenya? Bring Back Kenyan. More real. The network is clearly sending a message to all of the ladies in every housewife city. Share it all or lose your job because we all know. Kenya was shielding many parts of her life especially as they related to her marriage. All right the real grandma's of New York are looking to replace Carole radziwill with a much younger lady according to insiders. They're just worried that they're getting too far away. From the show's original intention to showcase the lives of fabulous women in their forties living the life of luxury. Personally I don't know why didn't mess with a good thing. Scott Disick is getting his own show on e this is the description. Scott will be traveling sometimes. And it will focus on his real estate dealings while groundbreaking. Of course we all know. This is just an extension of the KARDASHIAN empire and we can expect any number of famous family.

"That's funny because we WANNA see Ramona. Take a shot out of a lose like an ice luge sushi smart about stuff whereas the other women it's like choppy or they're not funny and you know a lot of the women will say afterwards like oh. I should have said that like. She's just quick on her feet. She came to deliver. Yeah so that's part of it too. I'm well this has been. This has been a very analytical episode. I love it. It's like perfect. I'm just saying is that I understand her. An I understand her in a way. She's a lot like my sister too so I kind of get it but I think carol is just somebody like. You're cut off your cut off. Another problem is that once they had the falling out. Bethany is a Bethany is whole thing is like I'm not GonNa talk about it So she stays quiet. What Carol kept talking. She went to Sonia with the earrings. Looking for dirt Yeah I get that I get that and did all these interviews and bathroom like those are just too many nails in the coffin. Like now you you've crossed alliance. There's no those two will never ever be friends again. So there's also this moment where Bethany is talking about getting the freeze from Carol and and Bethany makes it seem like Carol was freeloading off of her she said. I took adamant her to the Bahamas. I took her to the Hamptons. I don't do you think that that's accurate though because I'm pretty sure Carol. Carol has is loaded herself. She doesn't really need anyone to take her anywhere. I have no idea but I will say that. That kind of makes sense because it goes into her idea like a Bethany criticizing atom. He's a reloaded. I get them all the things the trips these opportunities and then I asked him to take pictures for charity. And he says how much you're GonNa pay me right at the news coming from like wait a minute. This guy who's been hanging around I already think is like using. You is like a freeloader. Now he won't help me out with the charity and Carol saw that as you're criticizing my boyfriend interesting perspective. I never really thought about the way I've been Gung Ho Carol this entire time. But maybe you're making me rethink things. Jeez like you know this season you see or go to a meeting at cosmopolitan to write a one pager. And I'm like fifty four and you're writing for cosmopolitan like this is not who you really are. I think Carol is going to be so much happier off the show because intellect documentary film making news producing because she's a really cerebral percent turf Susia. She seemed Super Smart. I agree with you released smart and thoughtful. And she's a very curious person about people and about The world and this I just don't I think that like she surpassed this this opportunity. She's kind of like outgrown it and she would be much better suited going back to her previous life. I mean I think that she is she. I just think of her as like an anthropologist too so she did Dan she kinda really got out what she she. You know kind of like I out. Yeah that's A. That's a good way of putting that she really came in as an anthropologist. She came in. She did her study. She's good with it now. Yeah was announced now that she's officially leaving the show. I'm I'm personally going to miss her. Because I loved her side. Commentary and interviews. But how do you feel about Jill coming back? Well I don't I don't I don't really think kills coming back. Oh you don't know I talked to the producers. May I ask them? Is there anybody that you want to come back? And they said now once you're gone you're gone like we're okay. I think that I've told them I think they're sweet. Spot really is to find somebody between forty and fifty five. They have to been married. I think it's really hard for someone like Carolyn. Tinsley who've never had children to really connect with the other women to connect yours so somebody who's lived a full life They've had children or stepchildren. Maybe they've had like one or two marriages under their belt. I'd like to see somebody who has had some success in their life. I think a great addition would be somebody who is who maybe has worked in. Politics is a lobbyist S- some something in the political world because they have very thick skin and have strong opinions and be quick on their feet. So I'm saying that or maybe somebody who was like a Wall Street wife. Ooh I would love that on a one on Wall Street. And they've raised some kids and now they're in their second chapter of their life. That would be very interesting because I feel like those are the kind of people that make New York very unique. New York is like a quick town incredibly successful. People like education's really important and that is what makes differentiates it from other cities. So some like a quintessential New York woman is like. Who's touched Wall Street? In some way politics I would welcome that over. Jill Zarin comeback any day. That is for sure Okay back to the drama. That is Cartagena I do think it's interesting. Bethany and Sonia become so close. Ah Somebody is the only person Bellamy has left to talk to. And there's this moment where they are. They have somehow ended up shivering in an alleyway together sobbing. Sonia by the way is constantly setting the stage for her own murder. I Love Sonya should she. She's essentially like when Bethany is sobbing to her. Sonya's like yeah. I'm the wrong one to help you because I can't even navigate my own relationships so sorry and Bethany you sent i. I'm not helping you because she can't keep her mouth shut. Oh Yeah Right. Someone's you're kicking someone when they're down there like what everyone is talking about right now. It's like shut uk about and by then you just can't take anymore so she picks up the phone. She calls Dennis and she's threatening to get on a plane. And did she know where any of a surprise no but she finally makes her way back to the other girls who were having lunch and then there's another moment that? I love where she tries to make light of the fact that she's had yet another emotional break and she says she makes a joke that everyone at the table wanted to poison her. And did you catch everyone's reaction? Yeah I did I did. I was getting tipped off mid season. That was frustrated with Bethany. They felt like she would put them down and make snide remarks about like how they were losers and a so. I think that that's a lot of what you see on camera two. Is that it it. Before they even arrived on the trip they were all feeling like there was a divide. Like she's too good for the show. So I I think that's part of what you're seeing on camera to. No one blinked an. I would have gone to bed hungry that night. So back at the hotel then. She's planning the absurd amount of re retail therapy. She's just gifted herself and back to Sonia. Who again is completely delivering? This season. she is struggling with a case of massive camel. Till which only makes her more relatable. You know men have that problem too. Sometimes it's called Moose knuckles show Let's talk about the dinner. There is a lot going on here as viewers. We think that it's the showdown finally between Bethany Carol. But there's actually another much larger storm brewing and the background. Let's just break it down. Carol and Arinda move off to the side to have a smoke and I don't know what they were smoking when they took their little break but whatever it was it ruins dinners if not lives. What because they come back to the table and all hell breaks loose. What did you think about this dinner? I think you know it's I don't know I just thought like was what makes that franchise best is that they will all gopher each other's jugular in a way that others cities won't and they do so in such a clever way And somehow somebody in that in that city could have drag-out fight and then somehow the next day they're fine subconscious kind of fascinating. I like that. They're all these different sites going on at one table. I think the Dirigiste. I don't understand why after watching all these seasons she doesn't just take a step back and say maybe I was at a line Maher. I shouldn't drink as much like there's just doesn't seem to be any self reflection there. I can't imagine going for someone jugular like that and then just the next morning saint. Yeah sometimes I can be nasty. Move on yeah moving right along the whole thing with Carol and Bethany really paled in comparison. You know like they're gonNA. I feel like they're going to do this for a while. They're going to go back and forth Carols GonNa kiss her on the cheek and say I love you and then just like really quietly be done with it but this whole thing with Arinda and really everyone but this time. Who's who by the way it's so countess. Like of her to shame. Somebody for their drinking problem. Tinsley wasn't wrong. Whenever she said that in the car but I got to say I love. She was totally saying it was about alcohol. Though about Lou Lou Lou. Ann was saying that yeah. I don't think that's totally what she was saying about. It was all about alcohol like during the there you go during the has an anger problem though. Not just a drinking problem. It only really. Does it happen whenever she's sober. Also you think well I don't think it's exclusive to alcohol which he's pissed at somebody she lashes out and she chalks it up as like. I'm an Italian like that's an asshole thing. We don't like when you're in a fight you don't go for something like you'll join killer. He somebody offered their knees like she goes for the thing. That is the most deep most painful deep painful thing to you right and I. That's kind of like an asshole thing and that you have to at some point go God. I really got a knock it all. She really did go. Zero to ninety. But here you go durant. Oh thank all your husband's not here to rope things in like no one would say that to her because every so hey it would be so heinous What was the worst? What was the thing that she said though? I'm not the one who got a mugshot from drinking without it. It was like Okay Fallon. Go back to have another drink. Yes have another drink thelen. I mean I I just. I can't. I don't know people like that. I don't know well I I do have to say though I love. I love horrendous. Hand motions like her gangster hands and when she's like really really like strikes again. I do like it when she does like that. Really like Sheikh does but you know what in talking head interview. She goes about that but she's not the runaway train. It's a runaway train. And you know words going. We all know where it's going scraped to call people out because we appreciate that on a reality show that going. You're someone's Achilles. Heel gets really frustrating. After a while in someone's going to do to you and it's not going to feel great still love it. I just gotTa love it. I I want the best for I obviously issues to address Cut to dinners over now cut to back at the house. Heath Ledger has risen from the dead as the joker back at the house during still slurring about God knows what something about inviting heroin addicts into our home wherever she she referred to them as heroin or drinks It makes you wonder if maybe Luanda's right. Yeah you're right I think there's some some metoo what Luana saying And she really does look like a massive hill that lipstick smeared across her face. Poor Arinda I feel it. Drains little lost the season. I think that she's leaning in too much into the show. I and she's such a smart person. I feel like she needs something. In addition to the show like writing Going into politics something. That's like makes her feel a little bit more grounded because the show cannot ground you it so dickel. The audience is fickle. Storylines are fickle. She needs something that gives her a sense of self outside of it. Well EPISODE AFTER EPISODE. This season just keeps delivering and the next one is no exception. Listen to this..

Bethany Carol Gung Ho Carol New York Jill Zarin Carol Tinsley Bahamas Arinda Lou Lou Lou uk Sonya Heath Ledger murder Dan Carolyn Luana Bellamy heroin Luanda Dennis

"Home Office doing insurance sales. It really was about the odd hersal dynamics with her assistant Laurie right. And then in the season to see how their their socio economic level had switched radcliff. So Vicki be start was the rich one and she had this like poor assistant. Who was going through divorce and then Laurie ends up marrying this extremely wealthy businessmen right and so that's the kind of stuff I love And I don't love the way that somebody like. Vicki is curator for the camera. Uranium for the camera but also her face is totally changed out during like Chanel necklaces. And it's it just doesn't feel like it's a real representation of that person's personality anymore. It's then leaning into the character that they You know that they kind of created on the show moved into. It moves into the direction of a soap opera. It's becomes a soap opera and not a reality show anymore. Yeah I agree with you was okay. So on this other charmer unions. We can really just break these down until like five highlights. Okay Catharine. Dennis is officially redeemed. What do you think of her transformation? Okay so I because a interviews like I get a chance to get to know. Some of these people are Interviewing them and some of them I carry on relationships with afterwards kind of in a peripheral way so catherine I would say. She joined the show. She was twenty one years old. She's total kid and I think she was She didn't have some sorta parental advocate that kind of stood up for her and Sir backbone so she gets in the show. She meets an older guy. I think the Thomas is a gas lighter. I think he makes everyone around like they're crazy absolutely and she next thing you know. She's pregnant she doesn't really have anybody. Who's like an ad advocate for her? And then she just sort of unwinds on camera because he's gas lining her and. I don't think that the rest of the cast really understood to what degree he was doing so You know I think now they kind of understand or so but they were kids two cents so we really watched her grow up on camera and Yeah. It seemed like in these reunions. The cast really kind of woke up to what they had just experienced over the last five years. Yeah she's certainly very poised and you know. I think she had a hard time and I'm happy to see her doing well. I'm being sober. The second highlight here is still. The men have zero ambition. Who Do you agree? Yeah bums me out and somebody said to me yesterday will that's that's their job now author on TV. But I think that that's a huge mistake to make and I think it wasn't. Things weren't so different for any of them before before the show. You think that some of them are just leaning on the show now absolutely. I think that's a huge mistake. That a reality star makes to to rely solely on the show because you are expandable. I don't care who you are. You spendable so if you rely on this. It's like taking time off for. It's like somebody who's like twenty four saying I'm GONNA take a year off from my job and financial services and go backpacking through Europe. It's like well good luck trying to get back into job though. It's the same thing with Ella Vision. I mean huge sacrifice when you go on. Tv show because that is going to be an imprint. Now like that's going to be difficult for up for people to look past that unless you have plans to use the television opportunity to springboard to something within the entertainment industry or like or launching line or another business. You're an entrepreneur and you WANNA start like jewelry businesses or something that makes sense there really is a blip. It is reality. Tv for if you're a actual talent on or quote unquote talent on the show. It really is just a blip in your life. Yeah let you so if you go to try to get a job like insurance two years after you're on a reality show that's GonNa follow you absolutely. You have to be very careful before you join a reality show and if you are a rally show you must have supplements Ansari. Yeah absolutely and you do hear a like you said you do hear about housewives and other people who start lashing out after they've departed show because they're grasping for some tension or tabloid or to sell a story or anything like that happens all the time. There's a there. There's this one housewife that had laptops show and I remember she had reached to a couple of people and said you know. Do you think I could pitch like a cookbook? Gives two shits about your cooking my friend? It's over you missed a missed. The boat yes. I said this last night to somebody I feel like if I had a sliding door life I would have been a great agent because some people are just really. They're not they. Sign ALLOTTED SAVVY CONTRACT. And you know these contracts are really quite something. We'll be like twenty pages long. The next the next story in these reunions Chelsea and Aston Romance storyline might finally be done for good. Thank God was bored by that one. number four. Naomi and Craig are like coke and mental else I'm disappointed though. We didn't get the Naomi meltdown that we were promised. Did you notice that everyone was talking about how nuts Naomi goes on the reunion and I guess I missed it while they were supposed to do it? Three parts and then they cut it down to two and right away. Vincent's tuneup. I think because they realized that most people were really interested in the dynamics. Between Catherine and Ashley. Right and this brings me to number five the Ashley Interior. I've tangled up and Ashley and Catherine coming face to face. What did you think about Ashley on the Union? Did she come off as heinous as you expected? I know I was expecting her to Did she come off that way on the reunion? I I was kind of expecting war. I don't know why I've spoken.

Naomi Ashley Vicki Laurie Ashley Interior Catherine Home Office radcliff Catharine Dennis Europe Ella Vision Thomas Vincent Ansari Union Chelsea Craig
