"You have lost his dogs. I feel like one of Pavlov's canines. Whenever I hear that soon from Abba, it's a rich man's. Well, you know what happens now? I see the vision of Trish Regan. In my mind. It's that association. It means it's Friday. It's means we're being joined by American consequences. Are your publisher now is that your name is your title. Trish, executive editor there. Whoa! But I am a publisher of church in town. You, Joan tell dot coms. I'm publisher there, but I am an executive editor. At American Consequences. Multiple sir, are one of our star writers. Well, thank you. Kind of just come onboard P. J. Roc's incredible website Stansbury research American consequences. She's gonna have to have multiple business cards now very, very impressed with the most important one is her podcast on her website Trish intel dot com Trip until the podcast And follow her right now. A Trish underscore Regan on Twitter. Trish William kind of something a little bit different with you today. Anything anything for you said I want to leverage. Zubin doings of incredible writing an American consequence. I mean, deep dive stuff on geopolitical issues and at Fox business. You did these these amazing monologues on Venezuela and this is the challenge I had. Look, it's tough for me because my parents suffered under communism. And when somebody and I've had a caller do this, I've had people. Listeners do this on somebody in a gym did this to me today? Educated American, says Dr G. What's what's the difference between socialism and communism? I don't want to go, dude. Really, and I don't want to say, Do you want the eight hour lecture? What is the You've done so much work on this. And where do you even begin an eight or 80 hour lecture on that one. Otis, and I think the fundamental difference that everybody needs to remember is in one system. The individual that is trying to create wealth keeps that wealth for him or no, it's not. Capitalism versus socialism. They don't even know the difference between socialism and communism. Trash socialism and you know what? They're not that far off, right, Roy, please look at what's happening in Venezuela. And that is a socialist system that I would argue, really is increasingly a communist system in a communist system. You have absolutely no input right from the people because it is the government, the bureaucrats deciding said What should be right. They are the be all end all and they know what is best for the entire population. Socialism is a great day Shin. If you would off that, so once you go to communism, then it's full on forget any kind of input at all from the people, Because at that point, the government knows it all and, you know, look, it's it's it's a slippery slope. Maybe Cuba is communist. Right? Eh? Now, I mean, there's different ways to think about it, too, because I've always thought you look at China, which is a communist system. I've always thought You really need for full capitalism to have some freedom, right? And so for that freedom, you need a democracy to me. Capitalism and democracy. Go hand in hand. You can't have Full capitalism in a communist system, which is what China has been trying to do, and it's this bizarre hybrid. That's not, you know, it's really not. I think every company if you scratch deep enough every car, every company in China. Is connected to the Congress party. Exactly. That's the bottom line you can't operate. So that's not really a capitalist system. As far as I'm concerned, they say, it is, they say its market driven, but it's not because you have to be in bed with the CCP in order to be operating there, she's dressed Regan. It is Trish intel dot com, also American consequences. Trish, are you happy? Are you celebrating today? Am I celebrating today? Friday. We'll know because Corona viruses over you. You saw Louisville. Kentucky is so you know the protest. I mean, it's it's gone. I mean, there's no social distancing and Omar so clearly it's kids disappeared. I'll tell you said, I'm still so disgusted by the members of the epidemiology community that came out from John Hawkins. Remember, there's about 1000 of them, and they all said it was really important to go out and protest yet at the same time out of the same breathy, same people are saying you need to stay home. You need to wear a mask. I mean, come on, guys, which is it? Right? I mean again. No appreciation if you would for the individual, except when it serves their needs. They want you to protest. They'll encourage you to protest. They don't want you to vote. They want you to vote by mail, though, encourage you to do that. You're an expert on the market on the macro aspect of of how we are the richest the most powerful nation in the world a month ago two months ago Everybody thought it was all going to be about the economy about getting back to work. That's what November the thought he's going to be about. Now. It looks like law and order is the primary concern. All those two things. Can you separate them from one of the true? No. Actually, you can't entirely said because to me, you do not have a thriving, prosperous economy without law and order. The two things go hand in hand for us to succeed economically. And you know this. Given your geopolitical background. I mean, go to any war torn nation anywhere in the world, right? What kind of economy do you have basically nothing because it's not a safe environment. And you may have some kind of underground economy and you know, they're They're sort of subsisting, but you're not gonna have a thriving Economy and in order for us to have that we have to have safety. The two are symbiotic. They really do go hand in hand. Now I do think that a lot of this election will come down to people feeling safe, but Let me tell you like the safety thing. It's huge, And there's so many different components of that, right. You need to feel safe in your ability to prosper. So that means you need an economic environment that safe, but you also need plain old physical safety. And and so I think you know when we talk about safety, it's not just physical. It's economic. There's a lot of components that go into it. I don't think you can fully separate the two. I really don't And what are you feeling when you look at the trend lines when you look at the events after.

"Seven four nine seven thousand one the big what are the numbers might down Saturday day talking of course about corona virus what else Hey let's kick this off with a bang from our friend that good information good morning plan morning Margo are you I'm good now how was I wrong this morning but I think the only thing you're wrong about my quite honestly of that your verification or the forming of the committee I think that's fairly routine welcome to questions like this are all the questions well done after H. one in one that was done after Katrina it was done after nine eleven again early routine well I'm glad you mentioned that clan because as I said I'm not gonna tell you I read this part of it but in the bill itself there's all kinds of oversight written into it in a different room I write about the money being spent on let me finish let me finish orders also a house committee and has been since nineteen twenty seven house committee on oversight and government reform not okay but let's just cut through all that year and honest manner and I truly believe that but are you going to tell you that you don't think Nancy Pelosi and Adam shift are forming this committee ought to start another witch hunt against the president on the coronavirus response do you think it's an honest and legitimate effort on their behalf I guess I don't I don't believe the responsible or a look into it would be a live chat given that apartment obviously didn't heed the advice of the people in this administration that once now about a pop last year we noted the very first single caller happen and what January twenty four we we know that and when that whole period of time I got acquainted with and what to look for weeks the president and fox news they downplayed the effects of this coronavirus now you and I both know there are plenty of montage of out there with people on fox news downplaying the effects of the virus the reason why Trish Williams and I know you know who she is because you listen to fox news and fox business news she was Barton park business news because exactly that no boxing news telling their their ankle people to take this seriously because they aren't as litigation out there are people looking to park news because both of them downplaying the corona virus there's no no lawsuit there no litigation out there against fox news without planted there are memos from internal data fox news eight we can no longer play the game of holders the democratic hopeful this is the lame stream media making the stuff up there though the firing of trickling well it's not going to go anywhere in the end the thing about it is national anywhere mark they were they were on top of it just at the same time everybody else was going on the only difference is there unlike MSNBC and CNN it wasn't their automatic reflective response we'll try to get my president no it's not about making it to the president about letting people know that no this isn't a democratic hoax no this isn't about the lame stream media probability and doctor felt she said there approximately one hundred thousand two hundred thousand people dying in the country and that's it we've done everything perfect I know you know both both Mike let me ask you do you want done everything perfect might know we're probably going to be twice that number thanks bye right now I don't know either but given the doctor's office if we did everything right we would have two hundred thousand up I don't think it's safe to say we haven't done everything right or even close to right and therefore the need for investigation I think the American people want to know why we disbanded a global pandemic illness and then the president says he doesn't know anything about it and he looked for a moment right but to look it up have any illusions that this investigation that pelo C. N. Schumer are starting will be fair to the president of the United States on March that we know that we know who the majority is up in the house we also know how the Russia which can't wet Ukraine hopes one November actually calling current Brooklyn apartment if you don't believe that if we don't give you money you know they'll go back and read a clan I've read it and it doesn't say anything like that we have four quid pro quo investigative political rival in my eyes that I won't give up crime it wasn't there though glance Hey listen I got a lot of people in it and I do appreciate your point of view but there was no quid pro quo in that letter thank you Glenn always like hearing from you even if you are wrong let me go to Lisa in spring bill good morning Lisa good morning how are you doing today I'm good I want to kind of follow up on that Canada came crashing and he was asking for comment your response to unsound terminating especially as a lawyer so we can night granted this kind of investigation is reaching a new agreement that bank yes routine through the yacht the house oversight committee yes not a separate standing committee now okay would you agree that it needs to be investigated all right I don't know so much is investigated other than that then looked at it investigators look let me do me clarify that investigated yes there's no problem with that but here's the sixty four thousand dollar question Lisa will it be a fair investigation and if Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi are run on it I think the obvious answer is no what do you think I think that I wouldn't make that assumption because I think this is way too serious to bring politics in the next what about Nancy Pelosi with trying to ram all those goodies through the third coronavirus response package they'll and they have no compunction about politicizing this well I know the kind of a focus on the issue itself I mean I understand the packages instead of second is everybody's time to try to bring some politicians and that but I really want to stay focused on because I think when you have a failed leader and he made a mistake don't you think the best way to deal with that is to own your mistakes people are dying he is not a failed leader Lisa and he did not make a mistake so I reject your premise okay that's it you are a lawyer yes ma'am I think okay so I'm going to give you the benefit of being open and honest and but I want to trust you in the conversation you will agree former he called it somewhat right now for about a week okay only okay Mr family how many people and what do you think he could have done in that week while he was calling to let me let me clarify that he didn't call it a hoax he was saying that the hoax was being perpetrated by people that don't like him so again I reject the thesis okay in that moment in human as the political and political entertainment against him so so let's say a week okay so we agree with the week I disagree with that but after a week okay so then when they were calling for him to to check them all for the country that I really have to admire our governor he took this very seriously anything you take action pretty quick well when the president refused to call on the woman whose heart the lately new wartime he claimed to be a wartime president over there he then take action but he finally did and I'm sorry I gotta let you go if he's referring to and I can't remember the name of it specifically the act where the president during time of national crisis can force like Ford GM and those people to make ventilators he did do that I think he did it yesterday with three AM because they were not cooperating doing it voluntarily so you know as I said in the rant his response has not been perfect and you know what maybe even he would admit that but I think under the circumstances has been pretty darn good we gotta take a break here but we'll be back with your calls news radio seven hundred WLW consider join me Monday morning at nine seven working from home and social distancing in the continuing question of when will things get back to normal we know that one of the things you might be worried about is paying your bills we're here to help and.

I was talking to my best one of my best friends there and talk about we were doing because getting donations from people and she said yes do we really want all those thousands and thousands of people and she's one of the most beautiful Christians now and I looked her in the honest that this isn't about politics. This is not ah what we're talking about here. These are human beings that need help in. It's not about politics and that's all I can say to people sister. Norma Pimentel runs the respite center in downtown mcallen. She started at a nearby church in two thousand fourteen fourteen as unaccompanied minors began reaching the border in record numbers. We thought it was just going to be for a couple of days. Turn out that it this was ongoing in ever stopped sister. Norma says more migrants come through this location than any other respite center in in the country upwards of nine hundred people day. She does not hide her disdain for the current immigration policies like limiting the number of asylum seekers who can enter the U._S.. Each day. She blames this policy for the death of Oscar Ramirez Mitya's and his twenty three months old daughter. The Nation cringed at a photo of them face down along the Rio Grande the border between the U._S. and Mexico. They drowned while trying to cross just a few days before our visit. This family was trying to intercountry the right way to the point of entry in the waited for weeks months because the policies that we have in place deters them from doing that and keeps them desperate to the point that they <hes> Arista lives in and going through a river that was dangerous and and losing their lives because of that we have to hold our leaders accountable. Coming up we'll continue our journey along the southern.
