"Like one $40 laptop hub can give you a laptop's hubs worth of components, memory card access. There are a whole bunch of other things that you can add really easily through that one cable connection and still charge your phone. This is the huge difference between a lightning connector and a proper USB three device connection. So that to me becomes the bigger the bigger draw. The final transfers do get faster, but it's harder for me to quantify exactly how much faster they might get because we're also talking about mobile chipsets and that performance isn't necessarily an oranges don't oranges comparison against proper computers, also sending files over USB three, you do get the full support of USB three on a phone though with the exception of the pixel, which doesn't have video out and that drives me crazy. It drives me nuts on a Xiaomi on a me 11 ultra. I desperately want my vivo back because it had really good support for video output. The duo finally got on Android 11, the dual one now has a reasonably good desktop mode that got activated. The desktop mode on the dual one is cute because it acts like a third screen of your home screen. It's slow and it's kind of twitchy. It is not ready for mission critical applications, but it's an intriguing step in it doesn't look like the Android desktop mode. It looks like another panel on the surface. Like if you turned your duo into a trifold, you're monitor connected to that connected to the duo becomes a third panel, which is pretty sweet. It's almost like you get a surface trio if that makes any sense. Oh, that's the Dory. I can't really answer 'cause it doesn't really ask the selfie the front facing camera. Pixel 6 versus 6 pro, I've only had the 6 pro. So I can't comment on the regular pixel 6. But oh. But that's true. I do hate the front facing cameras. So take your photos from the rear facing camera, you'll be much happier..
