I don't think to michael hasty given that. He played last week and especially played on third down but could be kind of interesting to monitor like. Be a woozy for the bengals. Brought him from dallas in the off season. And eli apple. now they didn't wayne's. It's supposed to be that started. He was out last week then crazy. So he's gonna be out again this week for the bengals and look. They did struggle in that opener. They they won. I mean they upset the vikings that was impressive. But they'll twenty two catches two hundred and fifty yards in two touchdowns to minnesota's wide receivers. Obviously a terrific do there. But even k j. Osborne got in on the fun for the vikings in that game. They'll at the third most fantasy points to receivers. And i know that came over time even if you adjust for volume six worse against that position in terms of efficiency in week one. So it's a problem there. A woozy struggle tons of production. I won't get into the numbers there but apple might kill was heavily targeted. All three guys struggled. And that's notable because robinson was on the outside fifty seven percent of the time in week one mooney sixty two percent thing with these guys all over the field in this offense. So they're going to see all three corners. It's an upgrade situation. Like the bears receivers. This week i believe last week. If i saw the correct numbers that most of allen robinson's targets came opposite of jalen ramsey. Too who some consider the many consider the preeminent corner and football. So you're going from not just a tough match against the rams in general but the toughest match-ups against cornerbacks much favorable spot you've got robinsons. How your top ten mike. I am out on my top dan. And it's really nothing to do with robinson. The match up. It's probably just that wide. Receivers are super super talented this year. That like you get past the usual suspects that deandre hopkins in the tyreek stefan digs in even devante adams etc etc. And it's like the guys. I have between like eight and ten aren't some slouches. They are equally superstars whether it's just in jefferson or keenan allen our players of that calibre. Cd lamb in amari cooper. But we still all feel like a much better days ahead brown robinson. Yeah no doubt especially in this match up. The target is always huge. It was big last week. Even that tough match-up and again not the not the best start but again we expect that you know. He's facing off one of the best defense in the league and love that ramsey role. I mean the guy is so good that he plays the star. That's his position. He doesn't play a corner perimeter corner or safety or line but he's just all over the field they just use them however they need 'em every week it's amazing please. Football that guy is official. Updates and some rankings chatter as well mike. Good to have you back. How are you doing this morning. Pretty good pretty good exhausting. We post week. One is always the toughest of the year. Because you know we speculate offseason. We read reports. We maneuver for injuries. Information but week one comes and the coaches can't lie to us anymore. They put it all all their cards on the table. We see l. personnel deployed. And we have to read and react to that so a lot of. It's been a busy exhausting week. But i'm ready to roll for the season. Now you are now ready to roll. That was good news to find your bell. We start off by saying good morning to you. We're gonna get right into some news as odell beckham junior. there's been injury update or status update for week two. What do we know about. Lbj who did not play in week one. Well we know that he's not gonna play in week two kevin's defence case saying that he's already been ruled out and i think we're you know everybody's scratching their heads a little bit if you go back to. How odell was looking even before training camp in the summer we were hearing about him looking. Good doing some route running When ota's were happening and then training camp. He was reportedly making great progress. Although we didn't see him involved in practice beaches felt like that was coming and even the local reporters were saying how much work they expected him to get in week one. There was an expectation that he was going to play week one so we were surprised when not only did he come in as questionable but then it was a game time decision and the wording at the time for sunday was they were going to warm him up and see he felt tells me that there's a bit of a confidence issue as far as the player feeling comfortable getting back out into the field and i think what happened here is kevin stansky. Made it easier for odell. I mean you talk about game. Planning and preparation. So they knew they were going to do. But i think part of it is to give the player two weeks and you let him work through some things that he needs to do to get back onto the field as of right now. I'm not overly alarmed. He's still in that window of nine to twelve months with return to competition an acl. But if we get beyond week three and we don't have more clarity as to why he's not coming back then. I'm going to start to get more nervous. Interestingly enough the browns are balanced a team there is right now in the nfl. I think the interesting wildcard here is donovan. people's jones because you just went through the pass routes and he was one behind jarvis landry in week one he was there number two wide receiver but the only other one target anthony shorts for whatever reason he would step on the field and eleven personnel and they throw it to him and it was. It didn't really make a lotta sense. It didn't certainly alignment the snap count. So i'm keeping an eye on him. Maybe for playing in a tournament. Throw a little dart people's jones this week and pretty good matchup against houston. Schwartz is a guy put on the bench and if you league just to see how it plays out maybe as role increases that was his first game as third round rookie and he had a ton. Air yards actually dominated the air yards in this game. So keep an eye on the progress of those guys. But your point they use they use a lot of personnel. A lotta guys get the ball to twenty one as well with the two running backs a fullback long term. it's going to be hard for schwartz. And people's jones sustain any sort of fantasy value wants back in his back and we don't know when beckham we'll be back but the wording yesterday seemed to suggest that we could be in play for. Devante freeman has been promoted from the ravens practice squad to the active roster recently they released trenton cannon and i dunno mike. Do you think there is a fantasy. Maybe and if that happens that's taking away from tyson williams. It's you know it's it's taking away from latavius murray. Obviously it hurts your fantasy stock a little bit. So i'm a little nervous about that about them going with the three headed attack because we already saw kind of play on week one where tyson williams had the that really impressive touchdown run but then and you got obviously this phase out of it in the second half so i'm nervous. This is also not look ravens running backs as a whole will do a ton on the ground but they're not targeted much and as a whole they don't it's not like it's an elite group in terms of total fantasy points. Kind of like cleveland. You don't really see that some little nervous if they use two or three is that it's not it's not going to give you a consistent. Fantasy starter sean. Nervous by right now. One tyson williams as a flex option this week and we'll see of plays out latavius murray's the first guy would want on my bench and then if i'm gonna d. league maybe i'll grab devante freeman just in case bullock. He's twenty nine now he isn't. I don't think he's really been an effective efficient vaccine. Twenty seventeen righty barely played to the past. Three years. Not chew worried about him. But i am worried about just a major committee that hurts. The fantasy stock instincts are that both he and lady on bell or non factors this year and fantasy in that. Eventually mike often tells us the cream. Rises game in baltimore will be both tyson williams and also latavius murray even if they are an imperfect group this year on offense is always run the football effectively. And there'd be some games where they just run the ball fifty times or whatever forty times and the running back plus the mar- combined for fifty five fantasy points just on the ground alone so still optimistic about tyson williams. I think this is note but not necessarily something that changes my perception of williams value other than if the team feels like those pass protection concerns that have been speculated upon late in the game. "I think. Ian thomas is someone that should make the roster but i think it kind of depends on what the panthers do with their running back and fullback situation 'cause which is also interesting. Yeah 'cause theoretically if tommy tremble like at least progresses into what you would think he can be in the short term. As far as a blocker goes he could just play fullback. Lot play in a similar role to fullback blocking like h back in that sense in that scenario i could see them retaining him. I could see them retaining arnold while they're going to retain arnold he's gonna he's probably going to be a starter. I don't see reason why won't be He had some good years with the saints. He had a pretty good year with the cardinals despite them having like a ton of weapons to throw to So like thomas could stick around. It's it's just a matter of what happens with running backs and at that point. Because they they have to hubbard. He's gonna stick around Reggie bonafide was unfortunately hurt last year. So it's one of those things where it's like. He was a decent backup to christian. Mccaffrey before that. And then they have other running backs today. Like trenton cannon apparently.
