"Crushed on twitter from people who were like this. Listen to this ingrate and you know what this. Maybe it's steam. We do every day biggest liars. How made ahmadi is a liar. He tweets out the picture. And you've seen some a little bit of chicken chicken chicken and that's fruit watermelon. Yeah and it's a container you get like a cafeteria which has room for three different dishes. Yup one of them's empty. It's empty because he took something out of it and you know what else he took out of. The bread is so stupid. In the corner of the photo you can see crusts of bread that thing so easy to and it's photos in my iphone. I can just crop super super quick and easy. How could he not crop that out and again. this is not really an important story lying about The afghan government. but it's a narrative. This is so this ingrate. A grown man twenty eight year old grown man complaining because the us government which she's flew him out of afghanistan brought him to america and is now giving him all the benefits. Soon of of you know being an american. You'll be on whatever kind of welfare program he wants to be on. You have no doubt about that. You'll have food stamps. He'll have all kinds of benefits from the great satan here He's complaining about the free food. He's getting it well first of all this again when we mentioned this early. Maybe weren't listening there. Ahmad is ten million jobs out there. A bitchy in el paso right now is a thousand fast food places with help wanted signs and you know well some of them. Do they eat all. You want if you work. The violates looking at this. He's like with food like this. I i wish. I just stayed behind captured by the taliban shot he writes. Oh he's a blogger and writer. He says he said he had a pretty good job back. In kabul i had a decent life. I had a family. I was forced to flee. He said he just wanted to show what refugee like was like. I hope you joy i mean. It's one one tweet after another conham ingrate complaining about this. I don't know you wanna complain about it go ahead. It's the fact that he's lying about it but he's not showing you all the food at socks. Yes shows the bread. The bread is over here. and we'll container. Which probably would be what vegetables potatoes or something is empty. Yes so eight some of the meal and then he tweeted out some of an pretended refugee life. I mean come on. You were saved from from probably slavery in kabul city decent life but flown here by the way that's going to be the next bite. Administrations is going to be one scandal after another. We're going to find out that they just the i mean we left some translators behind. Obviously we left some americans behind. Some of them are getting on airplanes trying to get out but let them out. You know what they call that they call that a hostage is going to be hostages. And we're gonna find out of the hundred twenty thousand people. We flew out in the came to america. There's going to be you know child brides. There's going to be a terrorists. People on terrorist watch lists and as isis affiliates. I mean we. We didn't vet. These people were just poured and stuffed them on c. Seventeen to america. That's it that the and again they'll be the media will cover it up but they'll be guys sixty year old guys with eleven year old wives or three wives six wives or they'll be honor killings because some afghan woman came here and suddenly showed her face. There'll be a lot of that stuff coming down the it's it's inevitable. I mean you don't think one hundred twenty thousand people even if you did some bad apples. Of course it's going to be some bad apples. But that will that. That's our latest liar. How about that lineup of liars. We had today the wrong digging rolling stone liars. We had the media lying about Abidin or covering up biden's conversation with afghan president. We had joe biden saying he was at the tree life synagogue When he wasn't he lied. We have tom brady line about getting vaccinated or or a coach. Did.

"Not really not a mention of the six airplane being held on the ground if this obviously if this was donald trump is president. It would be front page news it would be the lead for cnn nbc abc. It is amazing. How how how corrupt they are amazing. How corrupt the media is this is by any definition a story. I don't know how big a story i don't know how many americans i don't know what what's gonna happen. Apparently being held on the ground in northern afghanistan not being allowed to leave right by the taliban. That's kind of a big deal. It's kind of a big deal. You know what else you don't see you know what else she didn't see anywhere it didn't i say the meat we talked about this last week. I would say it's kind of a big deal. The president joe biden Had a conversation with the former president of afghanistan. Ghani that snake who took off with one hundred sixty million. I forget where. I don't even remember where he is or central. America is he. He's he's he went to columbia. Not i don't know where when his sons went to columbia anyway. He's he's he's a snake. He took the money and ran but they had that conversation. Not so long ago. With joe biden aspartame to lie and only joe biden. Ask him to lie. Khurana joe biden. Light himself joe biden. Looked in the cameras told america that the afghan military was going to hold up and the afghan afghan government was going to be in control after we left now that obviously you know most of us had our doubts but it turns out was a flat out lie and they costly one. I think it cost thirteen service. People their lives gives me more than that. I mean it's a lot of civilians their lives to but think of this think of this. He tells he asks ghani to lie to say he said perceptions important We need we need the right perception. We need people to think that you're you're good to go. You're going to hold up the military's gonna hold up and then on july eighth biden Told del everyone the military was ready. And they were gonna they were gonna reenter thousand and seventy five thousand. Well armed well You know he lied to everybody to the world to the world and he has to lie. I dare you to find that story like on the front page of any news. I was probably in the new york post. But i believe all the usual suspects. Abc nbc cbs cnn new. They just ignored it. That is amazing. They spent weeks weeks talking about Donald trump's phone call to ukraine when he asked them to look into the corrupt biden family. A phone call to ukraine and it was like ridiculous. They impeached him for it. They wrote a thousand stories. You know talk shows and talking heads talking about how a inappropriate that was. You actually have a president asking another leader to lie to lie to cut to cover up the truth. Here's the exact quote to there is a need whether it is true or not to project. A different picture is what biden told him that. Not that's by definition asking him to live guys crazy that's by definition asking ghani to lie and what it's that's some harmless lie and we'll get to the you get to the harmless lie by comparison at least but that is amazing. How was it not like the big story in the frigging world when you have a president who is lying. Everybody lying to the public lying to the american people liked the world and asking our ally our little this this regime that lasted. What was it. Eleven days after we announced. We're leaving essentially. It was really like a weekend where they crumbled. They fell collapsed and he took off with a bunch of money on. I don't even know who went with him but he took off. And and the you know. The country fell into the hands of the taliban in a couple of days. It's one thing to have like a commentary a opinion show where you say. I don't think it was a big deal. Whatever you'll you cover up for the guy it's it's you know god people do it on both sides. You know sean hannity. He would defend trump. No matter what right. Yeah and and. I'm sure all the usual chris hayes landlords so donald will defend biden. No matter what but to ignore that to ignore it. An act like it didn't happen. That is not media bias that corruption that has immorality. They the the idea that he's your guy you know he's my guy so i'm gonna pretend happen but if you're a reader of the new york times or boston globe i don't think there's too many of those left but don't you demand better. Don't you expect more you if you want to do a straight news story and just have that quote. You just read in quotes. And here's what happened and you know you decide whether you think it's appropriate or not. That's one thing but to just ignore it and say ooh hopefully it'll just go away and our guy won't it won't embarrass our guy well. It won't hurt our side. That's just so free. I mean a a topic. We do every day here and tweet about it all the time but these are just two. This is a weekend two examples. And i haven't even got to the to the the meaningless lie yet. Which makes a t tell me this. Which do you find. More troubling when the president of the united states lies about something like this about the readiness the preparedness of the afghan government afghan military as we try to get out as we put our marines in harm's way as we get thirteen of our of our heroic warriors killed for no damn reason. Is that more disturbing. It's disturbing or the fact that president meets with some rabbis. It says oh yeah. I remember visiting the tree life. Synagogue tree of life. God if you don't remember was the site of mass shooting. I believe eleven people were slaughtered. Eleven jewish antisemitic A hate crime. I guess you'd obviously hate crime. Berta eleven people was the two thousand eighteen in pennsylvania so biden talking to rabbis just for no reason. No good reason just lies and said yeah. I went visited the tree of life synagogue and his own white house. Pr team had to issue a. I don't know what you call now correction. If you're rolling stone it's called an update. They do an update and they say actually. He didn't go there so he says he does. Something that is so easy to verify so easy to check. Does that kind of liar bother you. More than the guy who tells the big lag. I mean to me the big lie given the consequences. I agree but the big lie. He was trying to accomplish something you know. He was trying to convince people that the afghan it was a good time to leave. Yes he wanted the photo op for september eleventh right so he said it was a strategy a strategy. We're gonna lie about this and we're going to convince people that it is a good a pro an appropriate time to get out of afghanistan so to me there's a purpose to that light doesn't obviously make it right. It's it's it's very disturbing but when you have somebody who so casually and comfortably lies like to take advantage of a situation. I guess that i visited the synagogue. When immediately the people at the synagogue say no and the people at the white house say well. I guess this really no way to spin this. So we'll just say it's a holiday weekend labor day weekend..

"Other vodka or camera Harrison's husband M Douglas M Hav Doug. Part and part of me Douglas if you're listening thank God. So on the one hand on the other hand American Jewry over the past four or five years for good reason right this horrible institute in pits homeless in Pittsburgh, the tree life synagogue in San Diego, and Brooklyn I. Believe if not in the Bronx we see violent anti scientists and so how do you Hawaii why you know why or somebody who is willing to understand and and look at the darker side anti-semitism Deborah Lipstadt Barry, Weiss etc and at the positive side of American either filed som or Aloe Semitism we're no one read these making an issue of Vonk trump being Jewish And does m have been Jewish Noah's and I have nothing this an issue in any way shape or form in the elections I'm so why look the negative when we can look at the positive? We have so much more to say about this, but he ladas giving me that look like w always ask one more question. So let's go. Well Okay I mean, it's not exactly what you're talking about, but I also have A A little bit of a suspicion of generalizing positively. Okay. This goes back to studies of prejudice and Gordon allport. You know when somebody says to me Oh you Jews I just love you guys because you're really smart I get really uncomfortable. Look. Why is that? Because they are generalizing and I think if they generalize in a good direction, they will generalize in a bad direction. This is definitely my position I mean I think over this'll be a freeze position Alice. Semitism is problematic not as antisemitism in itself but is problematic. Jews say flippers slow I mean let's get to the Jews were saved in Denmark not because they were Jews but because we're johnny citizens and because because they will you and being, and this is the way I think we all want to be treated not because you're smarter because not all we we wouldn't like that our less smart kid or neighbor will not be saved because he's not as supposed to be. Speaking as the kid has always been less smart. Or accused thereof. I again flip the question back to. Dalian to my different guy, what's so difficult about trying to accept the fact that people don't hate us or like us We can think of of the of the Obama. Had Eight or nine or ten centers for the study of anti-semitism. God only knows how many books about Anti Semitism and the study files Semitism. There's no institute for Awesome. They're very few books about the study Semitism. So what is about this? Draws debts your next book topic. About this topic that draws people to it, and what about the other topic that makes people suspicious. That's the question that those kind of questions we like to ask. "Service. The last couple of weeks. I've been talking about talking to leaders in public, safety and. From the leaders leadership perspective, and I I wanna deviate from that a little bit. As we talk about salute to service helped helped up by our great partners at Waterstones Bank. And that's with the problem of mass shooting in this country gun violence in this country. I thought we talked to a subject matter expert on that subject. He is Paul mess Kerry from the clear wall safety group and Paul joins us on the show. Good morning. Paul. Good morning. Steve thanks for having me on. So I've talked to a lot of leaders law enforcement. But as we've done that over the last two weeks stories, we've talked about as part of the show and part of the station have to do with mass shootings active shooters. And I wanted to kind of set the table for folks as we talk about the challenges in this case to schools places of worship and kind of separate fact from fiction, and I know somebody who teaches this you can help us do that. So help me separate what's real what's not real. And maybe even what works in these situations both from the law enforcement side and from the public side. Yeah. Absolutely, Steve we keep seeing these tragic incidents of active shooter attacks incidence of targeted violence. And unfortunately, you know, we're getting pretty good. We have gotten pretty good at responding to them as civilians who've been doing need active shooter drills. Oftentimes since they were in kindergarten ended law enforcement who you know, especially this week. We remember the bravery of the men and women that that in law enforcement that respond to the and you saw that firsthand. What the bravery? Within a Murphy and the rest of law enforcement at the temple. But what we really need to improve on is preventing these incidents so active shooter drills while they're extremely important in target hardening, which there's probably a little bit less evidence to support they don't, you know, at the end of the day. They don't prevent violence anymore than a fire. Drill prevents fires. Correct. But what we do know. And there's decades of research on this it shows that in the overwhelming majority, and there's some research out there over over eighty percent almost up to ninety percent of the majority of targeted mass violence cases, there were warning signs in the form of leakage. Somebody accidentally said something or just outright told people that they were gonna do something or they were exhibiting concerning behavior. So what we really need to focus on as employers as schools as places of worship. And even long Forsman is prevention is the threat assessment and threatened management. It's it's been around forever. The secret service developed it to deal with you know, threats to to the president and and hope high profile, and it's been. You know, I it's been modified to work in places of worship in schools, you know, on on campuses of higher education. So how do we take that concept being more aware being understanding that there's there's these warning signs to the reality of schools and places of worship and other things other locations where mass shootings have happened. How do we make that connection? Well, I think what we need to do is. You know, again, you know, whether it's employers, whether it's schools, you know, whether it's it's clergy at a place of worship, you know, they have to be, you know, they have to know what what threat assessment is they have to know what to do with a threat, or when somebody observes, you know, concerning behavior, and then, you know, law enforcement, it it's a multidisciplinary approach because you know, when you see these things, unfortunately, after the fact, you know, we hear, oh, well, you know, this person did this or he said that and there's a lot of pieces of the puzzle, and, you know, help healthcare profession. Finals mental healthcare professionals might have a piece long force that might have a piece and employer might have a piece family members. And what you know when you're following behavioral threat assessment and management model. It's really focusing on gathering that intelligence. You know, putting the pieces of the puzzle together. And then intervening before something bad happens miscarry from Clearwell safety. He's a consultant in that industry. So do you think looking at the stories, and I've talked about it on the show many times in a lot of different ways. We've seen story after story tree life synagogue and all the other shootings in schools the Marjory stoneman Douglas a year ago. Now is it is it that it's happening more often. Or are we just talking about it more often? Do you think? Well, you know, I would say first of all the data on that, even you know defining what an active shooter is the imperfect. You know, there's when you're talking about school shootings. There's department of education, you know, data that that's guest that potentially it's up. But then there's, you know, other, you know, independent outlets like the Washington Post and every town for gun safety that, you know, have conflicting data, but, you know, at the end of the day, you know, perception is reality and right now people fear of of this happening is is driving. You know, a multi billion dollar a year industry, and you know, bulletproof glass, bulletproof backpacks whiteboards. You know, those types of things that you know, still are are reactive in nature. And you know, we focus on you know, what people knew and when they knew it. Why did this person? Do that. But then the, you know, the the discussion, you know, automatically turns to gun control or arming teachers, you know, it seems to go back, and it has you know, for for decades. Now, unfortunately, going back to those things that still, you know, you know, whether you implemented any of those things are still, you know, reactive in nature and so trying to change the conversation to look at prevention. Look at what works and getting things in the hands of the people that that are going to be in a position to prevent, you know, these types of tragedies is what's really important. Love this comes down to the amount of money. That's put into this 'cause prevention. Yes that that can be the answer. But it requires dollars invested in education outreach communications the tools of communication, whether it's a pamphlet a an appearance by somebody like yourself, who's a consultant industry that requires money. And I don't know that we're at a point in this country wherever you know, we're challenged on budgets for everything from just having enough police officers in a community to actually implementing something like this. Are we ready as somebody who looks at this this issue? Are we ready to make that commitment? Well, I think we need to be quite frankly, and you know, and it does. But when you look at what we're spending money on, you know, in terms of facility upgrades, and and, you know, gunshot detection systems or bulletproof glass, you know, those kinds of things are cheap. But, but they're certainly, you know, they're more expensive than training in policy and procedure. You know, what those things take our effort? And you know, it takes somebody to say, okay, I'm gonna put in, you know, the time to develop a policy I'm gonna make sure people are trained, and that's ongoing because there's always turnover there's turnover teachers administration HR professionals, you know, so so it's, you know, on top of all the other requirements, but you know, I think we're starting to get to that point. There's you know in in in congress. There's bipartisan legislation around threat assessment in management states. Like, Florida Virginia have have mandated it. You know related to schools. So, you know, I think you know, the conversation starting to change. I don't think it's it's changing fast enough. You know, somebody who worked in law enforcement and higher education following Virginia Tech and northern Illinois higher education as a whole responded very quickly. And you know, you would be challenged to find a campus in the United States that doesn't have behavioral intervention committee a threat assessment management team it because they looked at those incidents and said we're not going to let that that happened here. And you know, by and large there haven't been whether it's related or not there. There haven't been the same amount of active shooter incidents on on college campuses. As you know, we we initially saw. So, you know, that's where you know. I think you know, the rest of us need to take a page out of that book. And then look at what really works. What are we spending our money on? And what are we spending our time and energy on leave it with this one? When you meet with a client, and you're a consultant for safety. What did they ask you? What's the first question? They ask you. Well, you know, I mean a lot of times, you know, I get calls after something happens. You know, if we haven't had an active shooter incident or something, you know, of that nature in a while, you know, it gets kind of quiet, but but things like because people want to know, what can I do to prevent this from happening here. Can you do active shooter training? I said, yes, absolutely. I can do active shooter training, it's important. But let's talk about prevention as well. Because, you know, active shooter training, you have to, you know, prevention starts before there's a gunman your door, you need to you need to do things to hopefully prevent that. In the first place. This is been joined by Palma scary from the Clearwater, clear wall safety group, appreciate your knowledge on this your expertise. I this is a complex issue. I liked the idea that you're talking about being proactive because so much of this is reactive. And and that's why I wanted to make this part of our discussion. So thanks for joining me. You're welcome. Steve, thanks for having me. On palm scary. He's a consultant in the safety industry, and he meets with a lot of different organizations are trying to figure this stuff out in the reason I included this as part of my salute to service. This is one of the number one concerns when it talks about the law enforcement side of the public safety world. And I think it's something that the professionals who work in that area. Think about we we think about it. We talk about it on the show. What do we do? We heard there that it's not just the reaction active shooter training investment in making. Soft targets hard targets. But also what you do at the beginning at the front end and good stuff from pomace, Gary. All right. Take a break more next. You're listening to Steve Skippy show on WGN, Jay. We get the same heartbreaking. Call just about every week. It usually goes something like this. Do you repair? Metal roofs are metal roof is leaking. And I can't find roofing guy friends. The only thing worse than wasting money on temporary asphalt roof is investing hard earned money on what was supposed to be permanent. Only to find out that your roof was improperly installed or even worse. A sub-standard product, permanent roofing is very popular in Wisconsin. But with every new product, there's a learning curve and buyer, beware. Now, I'm not going to tell you where perfect, but I will tell you that we will never leave you hanging..

"We saw it again in Pittsburgh at the tree life synagogue, tackle, the deadliest in American history on Jewish community and reminded again that we are in a battle. We are in a battle for America soul. I really believe that we have to restore the folks. The battle for America's soul. I really believe that. Yeah. You want to control them all skip forward. Number eight. This is this morning. Good morning. America, Robin Roberts. Interviewing. Joseph. What what would you say to the Trump voter Trump supporter who looks at the economy is very strong numbers here in Pennsylvania. Unemployment rate is a record low. What would you say to them? What I'd say is did you get any benefit from the tax cut have your wages really gone up. Think you deserved your employers? Treat you with any more respected dignity. They did before the story asked the folks in this state another state pretty well. And the fact that the matter is that they're not getting their fair share American people, the people who built this country are ordinary Americans dynamic toured Inari things where did he get that does not show a great tool respect their bottom line for the vast majority of working class and no class. People is not significantly better. It's not significant. It is this is this is part of the never ending series of lies that the media has the tax cut didn't help anybody. But the rich the tax cut actually occurred. People in this lie worked the first time in history where a tax cut has successfully been portrayed as as a mechanism for making people lose money. It's literally absurd. Did you get any benefit of tax cut? Joe look at the employment rate. It's an all time low in Pennsylvania, of course, consumer spending his way up have your wages really gone up. Yeah. They have your employers treat, you Joe all this stuff was stuff that happened. When you and Obama were in power. That's when there wasn't a tax cut. That's when there wasn't any economic growth. That's when we were losing jobs left and writing you were telling people they weren't coming back. Why is it left to us to remind people of this? If Joe were eight Republican out there saying this stuff, they would've already resurrected the Obama Biden soundbites, and they talked about they replayed Joe Biden and Obama telling people the best day is behind us wins the new normal out there, and it's a it's a it's a new state of decline, and we're the people to manage the decline for you where people to keep your heads on straight as America changes its role in the well, this is all this was their message for eight years. Now, there has been a one thousand percent improvement and they want to run against it. JFK had the same problem in nineteen sixty Eisenhower is wrapping it up. We've had the post World War Two boom in the fifties. And the economy was percolate, and it was chugging along. There was some down spots in it. But overall the economy of the country in nineteen fifty nine nine hundred sixty was booming. But Eisenhower was finished finish his two terms. So Kennedy's running against Nixon, what Kennedy do Kennedy acknowledged out. Good. It wasn't. It can be even better. It's time for a torch to pass to a new generation of us young people to make an even better than it is now these guys are going to try to run against the prosperity. They're going to try to run against the improved economic activity and employment, and they're going to do it on the basis that it shouldn't be happening because Donald Trump is scum. That's going to be their message. That you shouldn't appreciate this economic improvement. Because the president is somebody who shouldn't be there. You shouldn't have elected. He's a reprobate his human debris. And so this economic doesn't really count. It shouldn't happen with Trump is what they're really going to tell you. It shouldn't happen. Trump shouldn't be president this stuff shouldn't be happening. You need to turn Washington back over to people like us who have been in charge of an all these years, and we know how to manage it properly. Trump didn't even know what he's doing scum shouldn't be that's going to be their message. And boy folks, it's going to be frustrating. As all get out. You had better steel yourself. For it must take another brief time out and be back in continue before you.

I guess we don't want delays in transporting them to their destinations of choice. Again, whatever happened to sending them to sanctuary cities. What happened sending back? By the way. I read earlier today where? In Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, the coyotes are running radio ads telling people how to join the caravans telling people where to go where to find the coyotes where to get caravan where to sign up how to get their advertising, not us the coyotes are at least as far as we know we're not advertising. Federal officials made clear the troops will not perform any law enforcement functions. Now, this is from Breitbart. This is not fake news. What the heck? Joe Biden wasn't through. After telling us about the constant media, doom and gloom. She continued with this see neighbors who pick up groceries for the mom, whose husband is deployed. I see middle class families who are giving record breaking amounts of donations to causes that they care about. And other violent anti-government group's feeding off the anger and resentment over the economic downturn and fears about illegal immigration, and especially troubling the messaging from these groups seem to be gaining traction among disgruntled military veterans a group well trained in the use of firearms and combat the homeland security report was labeled for official use only and was not intended for public consumption. But in the spring of two thousand nine after its author shared it with state and local law enforcement officials its contents were leaked and there was an uproar Republicans in congress expressed out. Outrage that the department was targeting American citizens who as then house minority leader John bainer, put it disagree with the direction. Washington. Democrats are taking our nation President Obama's homeland security secretary Janet Napolitano withdrew the report and even apologized for it. But today after a series of terrorist attacks and plots by white nationalists, including the February fifteenth arrest of a Coast Guard Lieutenant who is stockpiling weapons and planning to start a race war that homeland security report is looking more prophetic than ever. We'll talk to Darryl Johnson, the author of that two thousand nine report on this episode of buried treasure. Because people have gotta know whether or not their president's across. Well, I'm not a crop. I told the American people I did not create arms hostile my heart. And my best intentions still tell me that's true. And this coast guard guy who was working in coast guard headquarters and stockpiling weapons and ammunition while talking by self describing himself as a white nationalist and talking about attacks on people, you know, one of the things that people found on his computer investigators found was he wanted to have focused violence to establish a white homeland. What do you think about the fact that for so many people around the country? They're now learning about squirrel hill and the neighborhood will probably forever be associated in part with this tragedy. Yeah, I'm sure for for people around the country. They will you know, people Pittsburgh of different take. It's Pittsburgh's a major city. But in many ways, we're a small town. We all know each other. We're all connected, scroll hill is the biggest neighborhood in the in the city of Pittsburgh. And it's also a very small town. We all know each other when these names were going to be released the last on on Sunday morning, all of us knew we were going to know many of the folks in there, you know, we're burying our last the last funeral today of rose Mallender and most of us know, the Mallender family, not just rose, but her her son and her sons and daughter, her her grandchildren their part of the community through multi generations. And and you know, they're the kind of folks that is emblematic of really what squirrel hill is about and has been about for many many years, President Trump visited a Pittsburgh earlier this week he didn't make any public statements. But there were protests around his visit some people thought he should have stayed away. Do you think the president's visit helped or hurt at all? Well, I think in in many ways it didn't. Affect in the that, we thought it would. And and I think most of us, you know, this is really a time that that was again about the community coming together. And and putting that aside. So, you know, while there were, you know, protests and a visit I don't think they I think the central focus has still been on these eleven victims their families in the community trying to heal the suspect in the shooting face to forty four count indictment in court yesterday that includes charges of hate crimes he could face the death penalty. Does it give you any comfort that the alleged shooter appears to be getting the full force of the law. Well, no, I mean, it's it's it's not going to bring those victims back..

So please do it. I also want to quickly mention about. What happened in in Pittsburgh with the full blown antisemitic crime or you can talk about that. Dr. No, I'm gonna talk about how I didn't mean. I didn't mean that to sound like sad. But one of the doctors was like a four four most like aids doctor in the eighties. So yeah, there were like holocaust survivors that were victims. It's beyond tragic. What was sort of something that happened that? I hope gets more attention is. We'll be there. So here's the thing. And I think it even speaks to the Brazil thing is there. I do think there are more good people than bad in this country. However. The bad stuff can't be brushed aside. This was horrific. The solution is not to arm everybody. The solution is to vote out assholes. And like you said. Donald Trump speaks lies to power. "After that. He said they're good people on both sides. So if you're a normal president I disagree with George W Bush, whoever right? And boy, I mean, there's an argument to be made. I disagreed with Bush more than Trump that he did more damage than Trump, but he wasn't anti semitic. He never said there are good people on the Nazi side. So would he if he goes to an event like this that makes perfect sense? Right. Trump who had to be coaxed into saying. Hey, it's a tragedy. Who said they're good people on both sides after they murdered Heather hired rain over thirty people and chanting Jews will not replace us. I think the temerity to show up after another right winger kills jewish-americans are brothers and sisters like that. Why do you think though, the politicians don't wanna show with a guy who clearly encouraged both violence and anti semitism now, pretending he cares. Nobody wants a piece of that. I want to say this too. Because I I'm so tired of people saying, oh, he has a Jewish son in law. The one of the problems has a black wife. Let me just be clear. So that we don't have to discuss this again because it's getting old you can be married to Jewish person married to a black person married to a Latino and still be a racist. And that person can just be a self hating minority or. Not even well aware of the racism, that's around them. But please stop saying that Donald Trump has Jewish grandchildren or children that are half Jewish or it is insulting to people of color. When you use the example, oh, he hangs out with black people. That means he's not a racist. Some of the things that Donald Trump has said, very problematic. They're good people on both sides is not we're not exaggerating. That's very problematic that one young woman that lost her life is Charlottesville people forgot about her like she was not a human being. And that mother said my daughter is not a talking point. You will not politicize that. And I I'm sorry, Jake. I don't see Donald Trump as president so him going to Pittsburgh is not. It's it's I see him as a celebrity who is constantly trying to get like. And that is why I don't think he should show his face in Pittsburgh, let those people grieve in peace. So the only excuse that that some people use is. Well, look, it's not that he's anti semitic for all the reasons that I did just, you know, explain shot down. But, but it's that he knows it is base is anti semitic. That's why he says there's good people on both sides. He's just trying to encourage face. Congratulations. Sam he encouraged them into murdering eleven Jews in the synagogue in Pittsburgh. So I guess well played if you're in that encouraging Nazi business, and what a bizarre line to draw that he's not a cynic. He just wants more people to be semitic. What do you think is the actual distinction between those two things in practice? What is actually different? And by the way. Of course, we there's like anytime. It's hey, could we put together list of all things down? Trump has done on X subject. You'll forget about ninety percent of them. But I mean, we can't help remember when he tweeted out the thing about Hillary Clinton without corrupt. She was and how she's influenced by globalist with the star of David in the picture when he gave the speech on holocaust remembrance day and didn't mention Judaism or Jews during that entire thing. That seems a little bit weird. And you could go on and on of course. Yeah. Racist, but racism is not a deal breaker for him. I guess and also the people in this community someone to go there. Some don't that's up to them. Really? But we also have to understand that we're gonna have a talk later on the show about sort of his general responsibility for violence. But in this particular case, the whack job ended up shooting up tree life synagogue, the thing that apparently set him off that he was posting about on social media just hours before was the conspiracy theories about the caravan that is what actually set him off. And that is basically all that right wing media and right wing politicians had been pushing in the week leading up to that shooting. Now that doesn't mean that they pulled the trigger. Doesn't mean the put the gun in his hands..
