"With all the windows you know they would cover them up you know because he didn't want to that is like a supper club or casino they don't want to know what time of day it is so you can have a martini at eleven AM and not feel bad about it or or you know they just don't want you to know what the outside world is like you're meant to be immersed in that shopping experience but now the Treasure Island center windows right into the wall so many uses in the building and the Saint Paul Port Authority was was at the center of that development we were at the center that made it all happen a one yeah from absolute day one so you got the Minnesota wild in early on they've got the hockey rink the tree orthopedics hockey rink up on top Treasure Island comes in with the naming a deal going on there so what's the Treasure Island center anchor tenant you got to have those in anything especially a mixed use building absolutely to Walgreens comes in right away yep you got stacked deck brewing in their great brewery brewery and it right in downtown Saint Paul there me on here what else am I missing as far as the Minneapolis housing and finance authority right aren't they in there is Minnesota housing minister how nothing has the whole fourth floor yes we got a bunch of offices in there so it's very much a mixed use thing bringing vibrance and energy from entertainment commerce retail in his business into right to the core yeah right there in the car while the Shah you know downtown St Paul man right right there that's it yeah so so so that brings us to you know you can't you can't sustain a business just with with whose downtown so what's a what's going on how how are the vendors in there and how are you guys at at at the Port Authority what are you doing it to make sure people know about it and then and then feel comfortable in and you know have make it easy in a parking all the cuts what kind of things will kind of initiatives are going on to make it an amenable place to visit and I you know I can't go downtown you know it's so dangerous you hear that all the time though don't you yeah I mean we just do you know people in the burbs I and I don't mean to malign them and they've got their comfort zones of shopping you know but it's exciting environment when you come downtown it is exciting and vibrant and and I guess I wouldn't look at it as a shopping destination right it's not we're not putting in another basis there's a reason why that left there's not the capacity to be told that kind of retail shopping there's the capacity for Walgreens but I would say very specific to Treasure Island center what's bringing people in from the suburbs and I think they're having a good experience or the or just the rest of the city so they got it and I I use the suburbs as a sort of a blue oblique example yeah but really that is the hockey P. so what does Treasure Island said absolutely yes so you got the wild obviously they're there and they have top priority it's their facility and then you have the white caps but all of these different groups are doing hockey but there's a lot going on with youth hockey and so there's turn immense and games and practices and so there's families coming from without the whole region on a pretty regular basis that is cool yes so do this I mean there are so many times even the girls hockey tournament B. consolation games were at that rank so there are people from the suburbs and from the outer region even farther out than the suburbs that are ending up at Treasure Island center all the time that is really neat you know we call ourselves the state of hockey and so for the center to Treasure Island center to bring in the wild right away knowing that there be a community component because the Wildcats skate on that ice all the time they got a season to go play that's right you know a hundred plus games in a season ago play the the that the community re and they're really embracing and they're booking time there and there's tournaments going on their course the other the other professional team is there as you said but manis that's the fulcrum of it that's the center of it is I mean it's okay neat almost every day of the year I mean I'm sure it's closed at certain holidays around the clock there are people skating so now what prompted me to have you into was an article in the St Paul pioneer press a couple Sundays ago and we touched on this last Thursday and I got to imagine then once the Saint Paul event center which is going to be a big thing that's the next thing that will be handled out right don't rush it opens all done their grand opening when did they have the grand opening that was about we can half ago okay okay so it's all up and running up and running reservations it was like a million one million two million three that went into creating that space I don't know something like that I know is a million plus put some good money into it to really make it Innovent space in downtown Saint Paul and it's a fantastic space and with the big windows facing downtown yeah great I bet it looks beautiful so is the persona there's parking in there because there's always parking birthdate and semi that takes up the whole block knows there's parking ramp in there so is that now connected is it better connected to the Treasure Island center I mean it was kind of thinking before was a little bit easier when it was Dayton's in some measure but even then it was kind of think you parking in a kind of the weave your way here rampant on the come down here and go over here and just fall follow the footsteps that were painted on the floor I don't know if it was that but you know what I'm saying new connections because there's some new stuff and costs and the parking we have way finding signs throughout okay you find your way I've been in the parking lot of a lot of multiple times and it's big you know you don't know you know there's a lot of parking in downtown Saint Paul now that you might not know about I mean certainly the municipal lot that's a Kitty corner you know where where the bar is there with the Amsterdam isn't right above that is all parking and then the big parking lot in in the Treasure Island center so make your way downtown and it's affordable parking too I mean it's really not that expensive you know that's what's cool about it exactly yeah you know almost all projects like this have an impact on revenue that's generated you know just the the exchange of money and and then the tax base so can you talk to us about Treasure Island center from both of those perspectives are we seeing a turn of revenue from those vendors from the from the the folks that have the shops in there the Walgreens and everybody else and then as it is the city happy I mean it's a contributing to the tax base like everybody had hoped it would yes it's definitely contributed to the city so what I do now is that at this point we've we're back to the point of contributed Hackspace where Macy's was before they close and then in addition to that there's the sale taxes coming in from all of the different businesses and we have another business opening up this week we've got another business opening up in a couple of weeks so that's just going to continue to grow yeah yeah and and bring that energy back to that area so so so you mentioned that you get you got to come up yeah I mean we've mentioned some that are in who are the ones that are coming in can you speak to them and what you know what other empty spaces do you have that you're hoping to fill in and obvious you're hoping to sell U. wonderful but but with what I mean what are you looking for to add to the texture that is already in place for Treasure Island center absolutely well the first one one that's opening up this Thursday there's a grand opening it's called the pillbox tavern so if anyone's familiar with jerseys and secondly that south Saint Paul they're opening a second restaurant called pillbox which is going to be right on street level a mob shot grand opening on Thursday yeah and so they're coming in with that sports feel kind of the idea that you can come in and it's a place to go and watch a game so they kind of felt like there was a gap in the market so you can do that maybe at some rates September Tom at Tom at Tom retirees I yeah the worst well you could you have the ten more what's the donut shop important you had to Morton's in there for but then they closed up shop all across the state so right they L. anyway so they're opening on Thursday and they've got a great great space and highest ceilings with big TV place watch the game it I seem to remember reading about two Bucks a little bit that it's going to be sort of historical in nature because there was a ball park that everybody referred to as the club back in the day seven oh in the nineteen whatever's and and so you can bring some of that memorabilia or the you know the the the the adornments of that into play into how they decorate and how they present yes I've already been in the space and they have this amazing Meryl that kind of portrays what it looked like back in the day very nice very nice of the pill box and then so in the space so we have two more coming but opening very soon on whether to importance used to be we now have Savoy pizza coming in that right away great yes okay yeah coming back to downtown right exactly seven nice right next door so that'll help and then the area when you ask about what is still available when it what have a mixed use building we had ideas of what we wanted I think last week we talked about that a big part was the event center that was a key piece well and have a fitness facility is also a key piece of what the plan is that right okay right because eight thousand people living in downtown Saint Paul you know blocks away a lot everything sky we connected pretty much yeah I could see that it was working during the day so what we have right now is we're working with D. one so they're coming into D. one training so they're coming into the building to take part of that space okay and do you want but there it it's really kind of exciting because it's a national chain are franchised and this is the first one in Minnesota all cool it is cool so it gives students and youth the same opportunity to get the same level of training that you would see in a D. one school I see how it down makes complete sense of course yes yeah I was just thinking I was trying to think to how the branding themselves there with the wind and what is that yeah you know I just my stupidity was on display their friends well you made it very clear that's really cool so you get that that vibe that sort of energy level yeah it would be like to train if you're an indie one sports that's neat okay so it ends in so what other things I mean are you hoping for well and there's more space so near Deir D. one there's also space for some kind of a athletic like it athletics is what your leg like a real internet not a store Mr like a gym only okay so fitness center of fifty center Sanders room for a fitness center and I think they're having conversations with people but just waiting to see who is going to end up in that space and that'll really close up what we were hoping for as the Saint Paul Port Authority from the banana hill with and think about the neighborhood I mean you know obviously you guys with Treasure Island center filled with all this cross section of cool things of course in that Wells Fargo center there's still a lot of great businesses trade in there and so that's going to add to the energy level are also that we connected also in the neighborhood you know obviously the palace theatre yeah also in the neighborhood okay this beforehand what's that the children's music children's museum also in the neighborhood the folks at the loon cafe in Minneapolis certainly felt that there was it was time to make that leap will know when Sean had to close down great waters his brewery there but the loon cafe novel dune at Saint Paul yes is there so that adds you know Meritage is in the neighborhood so there's just all sorts of great Viby stuff right in that chunk of you know a radius of two one half three blocks.

Tropical Wonderland. Step FOOT ON COCOS ISLAND. And you'll think you're standing in the middle of Mirage an island so beautiful. It might be too good to be true well depending on who you ask it is English. Pirate Edward Davis. I landed on Cocos island in seventeen. O Nine Oh be it by accident. He and his crew were sailing their ship the Bachelor's delight to the Galapagos Islands hauling ten years worth of gold and jewels in search of a hiding spot they stumbled upon the desert cocoa silent and decided to stash their booty there where nobody would find it over one hundred years later captain. Bloody Sword Benito and his men stormed the shores of Cocos Island with one hundred fifty tonnes of gold. They'd intercepted a Spanish galleon on its way to Acapulco Mexico capturing its guard and donning their uniforms as a disguise without killing anyone. They simply unloaded all of the gold from that ship and loaded onto their own. Before heading west pirate captains spread the gold around cocoa's burying somebody at the white sand while stashing the rest in a cave. Benito not one to leave any loose ends. Blew up the cave's entrance by igniting some powder kegs from his ship closing it for good and the crewmen who helped him. He killed most of them so nobody else would know the location of the treasure. While the men he'd spared died at sea not long after Benito had been the sole survivor then in eighteen. Twenty cocoas lured another captain to its shores William Thomson. Reputable British C- Trader had been hired by the Spanish Viceroy in Peru to Hide Valuable artifacts belonging to over fifty Spanish churches. General Jose Day Son. Martin had been leading a revolution for South America's independence from Spain as his forces marched toward Lima. The Viceroy New San Martine would take everything they had so they loaded all the gold and silver onto boats also included among the riches was a life sized statue of the Virgin. Mary cast entirely in gold and covered in jewels. Thompsons instructions had been to sail the ocean with the Viceroy's treasure safely hidden aboard his ship. The Mary dear until San Martine was out of the picture. Spanish guards were even brought on board to protect the bounty in case Thompson. Got Any ideas but Thomson did get an idea or two Cardi. No load of gold. Silver and gems worth. Millions of dollars proved almost impossible to resist. After they left Lima and the shoreline had disappeared into the Horizon Thomson and his men killed the guards and dumped them overboard then they sailed to Cocos to hide what had become known as the treasure of Lima Plan. Afterward had been for Thompson crew partways until things die down then returned to the island together and split the treasure among them however as soon as they departed. Cocoas Mary deare was stopped by Spanish. Forces who arrested everyone on board Thompson and his first mate made a deal to show the Spanish guard where they'd buried everything in exchange for their lives while the rest of the crew was hanged piracy. The two remaining members of the Mary dear escorted the armed soldiers to the island as promised and then made a run for it. They escaped into the dense jungle hiding among the trees. The guard searched for hours but came up empty eventually sailing away exhausted and embarrassed Thompson and his first mate remain behind as of today the treasure of Lima has never been recovered. Cocos Island and legend surrounding that have captivated the imaginations of people everywhere from treasure hunters to writers over. Three hundred attempts have been made to find the various caches of gold and jewels. "Seeing is believing. It's a well known phrase that has come to mean the opposite of its original intent writer and physician. Thomas Fuller originated the quote in Seventeen. Thirty two when he said scenes believing but feelings the truth. Meaning your eyes may deceive you but what you can touch and feel will be the true test of what's real students and faculty at Cornell. University got a test in truth in the early nineteen twenties after a major storm coated the campus in snow. Someone noticed a set of footprints large footprints bigger than any human could make. The prince started on campus and travelled until they reached nearby Beebe Lake where they stopped. The lake had frozen over but something had opened up a wide hole in the ice presumably. Whatever creature had made the footprints zoologist at the university rushed to the scene and identify the kind of animal that could have made such imprints and such large hole in the ice it was? He said a Rhinoceros. Authorities were called in to drag the water for a body. The local paper announced the de Reina. S- had drowned in Beebe Lake and nobody on campus students or staff would drink water from the TAP. As the university's water supply came directly from that lake. A few people who did drink it claim that they could taste the rhinoceros. One thing's true about the story arena. Zerous did make those tracks well part of one professor. Louis Agassi was an ornithologist at Cornell. He had traveled all over the world and brought back many souvenirs from his journey. One such item was a waste basket made from a hollowed out leg from a rhinoceros. But I didn't make the tracks that was all the work of PRANKSTER and Cornell student. Hugh Troy Troy had snuck into the professor's Office to borrow the leg for his stunt he and a friend shield it with scrap metal to way down then tied a thirty foot clothesline to it which they held at each end together. The friends walked to the lake. Pressing the basket into the snow to give the illusion of Rhino tracks. Then troy cut away part of the ice over the lake to make it look like the Rhino had simply walked in and drown. It wasn't until much later when an anonymous letter penned by troy explain the hoax to everyone on campus troy was a mastermind pranks and fooling an entire university was only the beginning. He wants painted bare feet on a lecturers galoshes then cover them soot after the lecture was over. The owner of the shoes put them back on and stepped outside into the rain. Which washed away the soot making. It look like the speaker was walking around campus without shoes on he also wants a piece of corn beef to look like a human ear then hung it at a Van. Gogh exhibit in. New York's Museum of Modern Art the plaque that he had made to go with it claimed that the ear had been. The One van Gogh himself had cut off before he died. Museum goers swarmed the display until employees realized what had been done but perhaps the greatest trick this devil ever pulled happened in New York City's Central Park Troy had purchased a park bench for himself and decided to walk through the park carrying the police upon seeing a man hauling a park bench by himself thought he was stealing it however every time they tried to arrest him. Troy pulled out the receipt to show them that he had in fact purchased the item. He didn't so often. The authorities eventually stopped arresting him. That's when troy put the real prank emotion. He organized a group of friends to go through the park and take the real city benches various cops on the beat Bop. It was troy up to his old tricks again so they let them go and all. The benches were carried off from central park from rhinocerous prints in the snow and a severed ear hanging in a museum to coordinating mass. Theft of park benches hugh troy pulled off so many practical jokes. He could talk about them for hours to a pack auditory him. It's about three four stories high. Just this rooms cavernous hand is the historian. She's on the board of directors of Treasure Island Museum. They've been hanging around treasure island and doing research. I've been doing that for about thirty years. She tells me this building it was supposed to be an airport. Turn a century ago. All this the terminal the land treasure treasure island itself wasn't here what was here was a Sandie. Shaw that surrounded Yerba Buena that naturally occurring island just next door in the nineteen thirties. A lot was happening in San Francisco. It was coming out of the depression. Passenger flights were new exploding in popularity rip. THEM SAFE has burgeoned. Flights a giant planes in American air into San Francisco wanted a bigger airport. Also engineers were almost. I done building both the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge. They would open within a year of each other. The city wanted to celebrate these engineering marvels with a big world's fair. You're done this before. That's how the city got the Palace of Fine Arts. They build up for world fair to show people. They had fully recovered from the nineteen nineteen o six earthquake and so meeting space for an airport and a fair city leaders started looking for land. And what do you. What do you know they? They decided they wanted to do it on your point of shoals but they needed money. Ideally federal money so they picked President Franklin Roosevelt on the idea and FDR really love the idea of an airport and was agreeable to the idea of a world's fair to to follow the airport so The federal government provided quite a bit of money to build the island. How do you build an island on the shows? You scoop up mud from the bottom of the bay. The Army Corps of Engineers piled tons of boulders onto the reef. North of your Boyne Island. They dug up the equivalent of two. WHO and a half million dump trucks bay mud and sand pouring the muck inside the Boulder Dam then? They built the airport terminal that anadyr standing in a terminal but no runway. The fair's organizers wanted to send a message of unity and peace so they include architecture from across the Pacific especially ancient type architecture but really it was just a big movie set more than ten million people came during the fares first season. Admission ticket cost fifty cents but still the fair lost money. It looked like magic city was going to be giant beautiful failure. What a AH said to have saved the fair was entertainment? Billy rose's aqua cade and it was wildly successful and the fair showstopper. Billy rose in his well known synchronized swimming in music. Show to perform on treasure. Island swimmers and divers performed an elaborate costumes costumes to music from a huge band. Drums and trumpets kid was a hit and extended the life of the fair for months longer than expected in September of nineteen forty two fair ending. The war in Europe was impossible to ignore and the navy began occupying Japan Treasure Island. I understand they basically started moving onto the island. Almost ascend is the fair ended. I've got a client that he was living out here for longtime. He came back from the Boston area originally and says some was out here and the grandkids are out here. And so they're working for a long time here in the bay area valley and. What's a retire? They planned it all out. Now, they were doing fine and enjoying life here. And then they said now our kids on the east coast have younger kids your grandkids. So maybe we should go spend time with them. So they moved back out. There can restarted the funny actually neighbors of minotaur ridge. I met them. Yeah. They had so many friends so many people they knew, but these are the Caterpillar where they can just get involved and stuff, and so he was big into saline. So obviously on the east coast a little by the water. They're going to be selling a lot more. And I'm sure he's going to be involved in charity stuff there because he was teaching at the Treasure Island center out here. And really what he's what they've been able to do is they had some lifetime income. So they were able to remodel a bunch of it and get all those things then. And now they're doing the life that they want to do, and it's a little bit different than than what they've planned, but it's working great. And so that's what the things that be thinking about is. How are you going to be able to meet new people if you change where you're living? How's that could be? Yeah. And don't be too set on one set of things that you're going to do in retirement because it's gonna change a lot over time. And again, it's always comes back to having that plan right and figuring out how am I going to have enough money to live? And you know, what what's the best thing for me? Where should I be living? What's the tax ramifications of moved to this state or this area because it may have social security tax? Maybe not. Yeah. What's the state income tax rate? All these things that they can change. What's this cost of selling my house, if I'm gonna pay a bunch of capital gains and all these issues so best thing to do is have a plan and have that written income plan? And that's part of what we do here at Heckman financial as we create that blueprint. "WC welcome to beyond reality radio. It's great to have you on with us tonight. Well, thank you very much happy to be here. Hey, welcome to the show. So when did you first become fascinated and interested in buried treasure? I was eleven years old as a matter of fact, I was. Gathered up by a team of professional treasure hunters. They hit a math, and we're in search of one hundred gold ingots hidden in a cave in the Guadalupe mountains of west, Texas. I was I brought along as a chore. Boy, I kept the campfire going wash the dishes. Firewood. But I also got to go out with them while they were searching for this cache of gold ingots. And I was I was with when they found it, and I got to help them unload the or carry the Carribean gets out of the out of the cave and down the side of the mountain to the to the camp side. There was a I wasn't entirely sure at eleven years old a Golding was, but there was a kind of a magical feeling relatives of that whole experience that I knew that this was something that I was going to be associated with for pretty much the rest of my life, and that turned out to be true. I think every boy I think every boy and maybe girl as well. I don't know as as a man, I know when I was a boy any talk of buried treasure or the possibility of wandering in the woods and finding a hole that you could dig and uncover something of value that in itself is kind of a a an very alluring and almost has a siren like quality to it doesn't it. I agree with you. And when you think about it, some of our finest literature over the past few thousand years has been associated with the search for lost treasure, you, we can go clear back to the search Jason and the golden fleece that story is a couple of thousand years old. More recent times, you've got who hasn't read Treasure Island. The adventures of all of those pirates and lost treasure and the book series. The what the publishers are calling the very treasures of America series. The first one debuted. I think in nineteen eighty eight and they're still going strong. And I probably communicate with people on the order of about five or six times a week relative to various notions on where some treasure might be your mounting, expedition or just exchanging information when you said it best JV and even when kids or even a dolts. I mean here we I think we've got like six metal detectors and just going out with my sons and they've been doing it since they were three or four but going out with metal detectors, and they could find something as small as an old soda can. And it's like finding just just as good as finding gold to them. And it's amazing. But even as an adult, it's one of those things where you get out and the excitement is always there anytime that thing goes off and you're starting to dig you, just you you can only imagine what you're going to find this just an amazing. Feeling. Yeah. And every once in a while, you get lucky and maybe find some coins, maybe kinda watch. Or maybe a cache of gold or silver and gets happened before it's it's still happening today. It's it's been amazing to me how many. Treasures lost and buried that are still being found today to search continues for for a lot of these. This is kind of a short segment, so I don't want to get into the details of the books yet. But I do want to ask about this alluring appeal of treasure hunting in itself is it is is the peeled. You think WC the same type of appeal? We have when we go play a one point four billion dollar louder Powerball lottery ticket or is this something more complicated and more complex than that. I think it's a couple of things everybody, I think has dreams of being rich those dreams may involve signing. Australia dreams may involve winning the lottery. Those dreams may involve inheriting a lot of money from somebody. I've been on probably well over two hundred expeditions while we've been lucky sometimes we've we've also had a number of. Several years of experience doing this. I founded what satisfies me the most is the quest. It's the search is the adventure. Even those expeditions that we that we undertook where we found. In other news the Labor Department reported that modest gain of about one, hundred fifty seven. Thousand jobs, in July but. If you look at it over the course of the year this year's average monthly job creation. Numbers, better. Than we saw in either of the last two years we're joined live now on the KCBS ring central Newsline by CBS news. Senior, business analyst Jill Schlesinger Joe good morning and this question of job creation has been central to the way people feel about the economy. Oh absolutely and I would say that a lot of the confidence that has been building around this economy has to do with your job obviously the. Most important, numbers that, you can imagine with job. Are you know you either have zero job or you have one hundred. Percent I have a job and we went from I'm that kind of decision to wait a minute do I like. My, job could I get a better job and now that the, market is tightening up we're seeing many more people take the plunge and. Leave a comfortable job to try something new So more job hopping does, that open up more opportunities for people who maybe have been. On the sidelines absolutely and we are seeing more, people who been on the sidelines. Come back into, the labor, force not a huge number because our, labor force participation is still pretty low but that. Has more to do with demographics than anything else but what we know is that after the recession a lot of workers were nervous they were saying thank goodness I have a job and you. Know I know that you guys in the bay area you've got such a huge tech footprint that it's hard to maybe understand that there's. So many parts of the country where you. Don't have that baseline and you don't have. That those big employers so now we are starting to see job seekers move into. The marketplace and people who have jobs jobs switchers are finding that thing. Move they get more money with one big asterisk. I'm going to say that's? A great idea be careful to? Understand what you might be giving up when, you make that decision there's also this question of exactly what kind of jobs Wall Street Journal Ticks out part a bit this morning and looks at retail and manufacturing? Is. Hardware for example featured in this story planning to hire about, thirteen hundred new people this year, but these retail sector Judd's don't tend to pay terribly well that is, absolutely true and we know that there have been a lot. Of shifts in the labor market and you know, we've also been talking a lot. About gosh what, happens when, many of these jobs are automated well, with robotics or it's a or an algorithm that. Can come in and do you know an asset allocation plan instead of a human being but I think that that's also a really good prompt for people to say wait a minute am I. An industry where I have growth do I need a job versus a better job and some of these questions are finally coming to the. Fore ten years after the great recession began. And this is why it's a good time. To at least ask yourself those questions am I in a place where I'm going. To grow if not what are my alternatives and by, the way maybe I'm in an industry like retail and I say well I'm not doing. So well here but maybe I take my skill set? And say, go into logistics where? There's a lot more, growth The other question and before the great recession. We all talked. About just getting up and going you know there. Were jobs in Austin or jobs in Portland whatever people would move then people got stuck because they, couldn't, sell a house they were underwater, they couldn't afford a place at the other end, what do we know about that mobility factor now And I think we were having. Trouble and we've finally reached trouble we've lost our Apologize for that we had been talking receive Bs new senior business, analyst Jill Schlesinger big trouble at, the bay bridge. "Was weird that was strange z and his love affair woman for parents hating him it was very weird because it's like i feel like after you know jim henson died and like after the henson family kind of left because the muppets started with a very kind of like frag oh rocky like this buddhist almost approach to like life and like giving these lessons about social behavior in lessons about there's a lot of counter culture yeah exactly yeah but then i feel like the muppets eased as it just doesn't it just doesn't have that and that breaks my heart i think a lot of that has to do with the fact that it's sold to the walt disney company and a lot of it's been you know it's been come overly commodified that's kinda how i felt about the new star wars i was like there's i need any about thirty five percent less jokes less like i'm like why does everyone get a one liner is there a one liner in this scene now what i what i think one of the reasons why this movie works spite it being like a disney movie because this is after they were acquired by the disney company it's still a brian hinson joined right and he and some family hansa family and he is equally a month appearance and i actually got to meet brian henson recently how did i influence style could you tell the notes the panic you know you know it's funny it's funny that you mention that because you would love his style actually he wears like crazy blazers yeah that are like a little bit too big just figure out how to gatica myself and being like four inches taller i could wear more suits but i really don't wear suits because i feel very what's the word hillary clinton who do i admire in many many ways is not my style i call really even her emails sorry i didn't mean to get just making a joke i love oh can i say my anecdote please okay so here's my anecdote i'm muppet treasure island when i i saw this movie i was in sixth grade and i was home with a terrible terrible stomach flu and we we haven't gotten to see so it was rented so we rented a vhs was like oh you love them up it's watch muppet treasure island by going to work and i was like oh and i was so sick and i put it on and it was so colorful and fold with constant sound and motion that if made me so sick but i loved watching it and i was like muppets their dancing the boat also to motion sickness so anyway my first memories of this movie i are very terrible physical ffiliated then many more watching later and yet you still love interesting it's very funny it's very funny i got to say i thoroughly enjoyed it normally on this part of the show we do a brief recap we can keep it pretty brief because this movie follows very closely the classic treasure island tale has ever read treasure island or seen the other sort of adaptations of treasure is on the movie i've watched treasure planet as well which is another excellent animated treasure island rendition for where the the tim curry character you know long johnson doors will he's played by this large cartoon alien and you can't tell if he's jamaican or irish his accent keeps just changing the voice actor didn't fully commit he's like oh billy bones remember recording that and they even got on me midway through they were like mitchell you've gotta take an accident and i was just like i can do whatever i want are you doing what are you doing we women issue oh i just took it everywhere yeah yeah the international the international accent does follow very closely to the treasury treasure island tale you know and what's the name of the scary very scary muppet in that first scene or that i when he gives a dot the dot dot dot the that is like french yeah he's like captain pure some so scary as a mopping both is is biggest knows you've ever seen just terrifying at the same time just like slapstick hilarious because he's a visually challenged yes little politically correct joke in there and.
