"You know, he could be this, this quote unquote system guy in, you know, the you could blossom into a guy that they really trust in like, but I think in an ideal world, I keep to in its Finley Dalton and, you know, they do spread out some roster spaces at some of those other crowded groups that we talked about it on this, this week show to John that interior off the offensive line. I think we said there's upwards of eight guards or something, and then you've got guys that have guard tackle flexibility, like like trae Hopkins like the kid from Texas. Am they brought in his Keaton Sutherland guy that, you know, played garden tackle and policy? You've got these positional flexibility guy. So there's a lot to sort out. I think if you're able to go to quarterback in feel comfortable with it. I think you have to do that. You also have to figure you've got four towns running backs now on the roster with, with. You know, Trayvon Williams in Rodney Anderson now being added with geo Bernard with Joe mixon that position group tends to kinda battered, Rodney Anderson is still rehabbing a knee injury, so, you know, and you wanna hang onto that guy. So I mean, if they got a probably get creative and quarterback might be one of those spots, do that, as I should point because Ronnie might be on the pup or might you be on like a week. I might open up a chance to keep one of those quarterbacks because they might only go through running backs with Anderson outland if interest. Anderson's healthy place by mccraw guess. Yeah. Yeah. That's that, that would be the, to me that would be the most likely scenario in terms of what the Bengals would do to get a third quarterback than maybe you get six to eight weeks or whatever ten weeks, maybe on the on the I R thing if that's what it is with, with Rodney Anderson. Designated return, you get a half a season for Finley to kind of get his NFL legs under him. Get a little more acclimated to things in maybe. Feel more comfortable. You can cut a guy like Driscoll loose. I, I just think if it does come down to one one backup quarterback in, that's it. I think they're going to go with Finley based on the draft stock. This regime selecting him as opposed to Driscoll that sort of thing. So that's gonna do it for us today. We've got we had called, we attacks we had YouTube questions, we had questions from the comments read. We appreciate all the interaction we appreciate you tuning in again. This is the orange and black insider, Bengals.

"Back in Chicago at the United Center, the house that Michael Jordan Bill, but it's all college tonight. And this weekend the big ten tournament back where it started twenty two seasons ago. The boiler makers have been behind a lot of the contests but back in front by two seventy one sixty nine with two forty eight to go over the gophers of Minnesota, Greg Daniels and Doug Gottlieb with this one will have another one after this between Michigan in Iowa. But that feels like it's a long ways away because this is such a hotly contested game right now right now in Minnesota part of the problem is they're shooting has gone into a slumber one for their last seven they they've gotten everybody finally got to win the game on the road. And you have to take a breath and read purdue's defense. They had Trayvon Williams in the game. All right. We want to spread you out and attack. Whether he's got the ball with a hand on the other hand, we don't want to post up against Favio Williams really don't wanna post up against that harmful. Very good post defender if they go back to now. Now, we can expose poster on the second right after these two bigs. So you're Minnesota spread about attack number fifty. He started to move his feet. The perimeter. If at long jump shots taken that guy should run to rebound. Defensively, you know, they're going to Williams at the left block who's gonna shoot the right hand or go to harm to write law. Minnesota basketball out of the time out. They trail Purdue by two twenty on the shot clock, the lobby into Amir Coffey. Coffey dribbles it with the left hand into a crowd. Good helped by trae beyond Williams. Good chase by no gel eastern. It goes out of bounds.

"But during the year, that's why at Oliver at one point looked like the first or second pick now is around that fourteenth spot to Atlanta. I think as far as a running back owes Trayvon Williams at Texas A and M if he runs great heat had a phenomenal year for JIMBO Fisher, he jumps in Dexter Lawrence than play in the in the meaningful games at the end with the suspension. He is a freakish town if he has those big time numbers at three hundred and forty pounds, he jumps heavily high that defensive tackle group, especially with Jeff. For Simmons coming off the AC L from Mississippi State and his stock dropping a bit at the Thompson safety at Alabama. Didn't have a great second half of the season two. Now the big plays. But he's a talented kid. He test great. He could be in the late first early second round discussion. And as I said earlier, I want to see what Andy Isabella UMass receiver. Retirement runs, your fastest guy. Umass. But how does that translate to the rest of the draft class? We'll see when he gets the the Annapolis this week almost every year at the combine you get some guy that you guys know, but the average person does who becomes a story. I remember years ago. It was my namesake Matt Jones that ended up playing himself after a combine into a first round pick. Give me a guy that you think after the combine nobody's talking about. But we start talking about. Akeem Butler, Iowa State. There's a kid. That's got you know, down the field. Ability separation is the key. If he would his height runs. Well, Matt he's gonna go. Hi. All right into Butler wide receiver. I was state. We'll keep that in mind it came Butler. Now, you you and I talked a little bit off air about Colorado. You would not throw if you were him right though. I wouldn't throw I wouldn't run either. And because you'll need to it's the most important things they interview and football IQ and being able to say, hey, all about football, which we know he is now and don't put yourself in a position where you're standing on the field in my opinion with somebody six four six five when you're five nine you don't need to be standing there next Daniel Jones, or or whoever it may be drew lock your Ryan Finley. You don't need that the show up medical look many. I talked to him interview. That's it that visual comparison, it'll be striking. If you standing there next to somebody six or seven inches taller than you. Everybody right now is talking about Duke and college basketball Zion. Other teams Kentucky Virginia, Gonzaga, Tennessee have a shot, but what team outside. Of the top five could make a run to actually win.

"He was electorally. He'd be next after the catch running hard. Look like, Danny amendola. He to me helped him a hunter Renfro another game radical. Emerson you put the the game situation. Hunter Renfro emerges. So I thought the game Isabel and Renfro during the week. It was penny heart guys, I'll give you a stat. Alvin Kamara over the last two years as a rookie econ eighty one passes borderline slot receiver at times last year. He catches another eighty one passes. We saw saquon Barkley come into the league catch a ton of passes this year. You know, I have it right in front of me running backs in two thousand eighteen in the NFL caught two thousand seven hundred forty nine passes. Just a huge toilets three almost four hundred more than ten years ago. This time. Who are the running backs this year? Todd. I'll let you start here who the running backs this year who you see, you know, they can run the ball. But they also are going to be guys that you think are going to be good in front of the jugs machine during this process, and our guys that are going to be weapons in the passing game as well. I don't know that we have any Comores or or sake ones in this class. But I think Josh Jacobs is probably a little underrated in in that area. I mean his ability to work out of the slot. He can catch the ball of -ly. He's an explosive runner coming out of Alabama. I think that that's going to help his cause and probably will wind up being a big factor. And why he's the first bacteria? If that's the case, which I think it will be David Montgomery from Iowa State has some ability. He's not a huge weapon kind of after the catch and all of that. And he's not going to run away from you. But but he had twenty two catches this past year. I was state and is reliable in that regard Trayvon Williams of from Texas AM does a really good job catching the ball versatile. And he just he understands how to run routes how to get open underneath Tony Pollard who Mel just mentioned at thirty nine catches this past year, and basically receiver that that was used a running back and his versatility. "Watching this Mike McCarthy graphic flash across the screen. The Packers head coach fired earlier today. Seemed like that guy was living and did win the Super Bowl so warranted over a decade there, but seemed like the last few years the guy was living on borrowed time. Isn't it? What's crazy about the NFL though? This was a team that a few weeks ago agreed bad you were talking about. Hey, even still as a as a potential Super Bowl contender even with an not fully healthy Aaron Rodgers. And all of a sudden, you're you're a complete disaster. And you're losing it. Home is a two touchdown favorite to the Arizona. Cardinals. Can you call his tenure unsuccessful if he won a Super Bowl, but only made one Super Bowl appearance with thirteen years of Brett farve and Aaron Rodgers. I think you could. I don't know that I would be the person to to necessarily do it. But yeah, I think you can make that argument. Based on based on that alone. Just the the offensive talent that you've had across the board and their some of their defense is haven't been too shabby either. Yeah. I would say you probably could. Thirteen years there. One how many division titles? I think six or seven. I just saw. One over one hundred games in thirteen years. But is one of those guys that it's always been there's always been questions about his clock. The way manages the clock. His play calling. Last week. Happened in last week early in that that Minnesota game. They ended up getting screwed by the ramp where. They ended up with like one less time out or I forget what ended up happening early on in that game. They'll wear. He got into an argument with the with one of the officials moralize. And it ended up costing them. I wanna stay late in the game. Because they ended up having having one less time out or one less one less challenger or something that happened. But either way they still had a shot to win that game in Minnesota. And. Trayvon Williams ended up fumble and a fumble in that punt. Oh, what a disaster that was it will always be ironic that he ended up with Aaron Rodgers because he was in San Francisco's offense coordinator when they took Alex Smith over. Rushers and then he ended up getting them anyway..

"Yes, even though it should have been thirty one seventeen technically. I thought there was a good amount of ugliness to this game. As there often is with LSU in Arkansas that it was nothing that LSU fans should come away saying, oh, we're comfortably better than Arkansas based on last night's performance about LSU at a number of issues on offense. And there is sort of that lack of killer instinct that comes with inconsistent quarterback play. I know he actually completed a bunch, but wasn't a huge fan of, you know, aside from was one big Justin Jefferson play what they look like, you know, moving the ball against is a pretty bad Arkansas defense. So listen when you're clunkers LSU, did it it's fine in my mind. They're still disqualified from any playoff talk. So we can just move forward. And finally in the SEC we had am thirty five ole miss twenty four big game or Trayvon Williams to twenty eight. And a touchdown on the ground still too many mistakes Kellen Mont, but a win nonetheless four, Texas am and finally the close out the SEC we had Mizzou thirty three and vandy Twenty-eight anything to add. Yeah. Need conversation about the best running backs in the country. Have to must include Trayvon Williams. Kellyn Monde is probably this year's like I I forget the exact line, dumb and dumber. Which is just a a huge air by me. But like the right when I think you haven't done you couldn't be any worse you go and completely redeeming. Redeem yourself that is that is the Kelham on experience. So yes, good for Mizzou for coming back in this game. They needed all. You know, however, many thousands hundreds of thousands of seconds to make it work against vandy. But they make it work against a against the doors. Fandy just is having problems finishing. Let's move over to the Pac twelve in. Let's very quickly. Very here's where we stand from the thirty thousand foot view on the Pac twelve ASU now controls its own destiny in the Pac twelve south Utah's working if ASU's should stumble at Oregon or at a resort Utah would be. But right now ASU in in control, excuse me. And it also looks like in the north the apple Cup is likely going to decide who moves onto the Pac twelve championship game. The rest of the pack though, Dan who we're talking seven teams that are five and five or six and four at this point. We are indeed. And I like it I like the just insanity and how stupid everything looks in the pack twelve right now because it's very clear that there are no actual stakes involved in the Pac twelve beyond Washington state, who by the way that is probably the story of yesterday that felt very trapping. The defense made a huge statement in in the cougs taking down Colorado a team still without lettuce cushion, all but really great job by the cougs. Arizona state looks very good. You know, Benjamin I think is for real the running back who has emerged for the sun devils against a UCLA team that that plays with a lot of fight were in this game. The whole time I thought Wilton spe did a pretty good job for the Bruins. And that's that's a short handed UCLA team. So encouraged by state holding on and winning that game to kill Harry. We know is a dude amongst dudes as well. As for Utah. Utah beat a below average Oregon team with their backup quarterback and backup running back. And if you watch any of this game, you should come away extremely encouraged that listen, Utah has issues, but they don't have organised this, right? And I thought the youths did a good job. Putting the the back of quarterback Jason Shelley and a position to make plays. They may plays on the ground. They weathered a pretty significant charge from Oregon in the third quarter when their offense finally appeared to enjoy getting first downs or desire first downs. Organ is basically a five and seven six and sixteen that because of their schedule will finish with a better record. But the organ's remains broken the organ defense remains just bad. And it's a shame. Given Justin Herbert's talents and ability to to make huge NFL type throws Oregon just doesn't want layups organ refuses take laps when they do. It works..

"I like an outright here. I'm not sure if I said that South Carolina was favored or an was favored. It does look like am is favored by two and a half, but I'm gonna. I'm gonna lay the points here on the road. AM wins. Yeah, I think we agree and never forgets. This is the Kenny troll game. That's right. This is the Kenny trout game from holy cow, two thousand the ins- thirteen. I don't even remember fourteen. I remember coming home from the mysterious day job and throwing myself in front of the TV to watch this game. I was all amped up for the start of the college football season. And I remember the Kenny trill game. Was like, who is this guy? He's incredible. And then it just sort of spiraled from there. But yeah, I mean, we always had that one game. Dan. I was two thousand fourteen. I am wins this comfortably do not like we're South Carolina's defense is heading both these teams in letdown spots. Tech say m the overtime, win, South Carolina with that last second win. We'll see who starts who actually gets the start at quarterback for the Gamecocks. But I think I am. I'm pushing all of my Trayvon Williams chips to the center of the table. And I, I am hoping forbid things seven PM ESPN two. This is officially the Vegas knows something game of the week. Okay. Got Miami is six point only a six point road favorite at Virginia. You haven't talked much about UVA this year, but they are actually making some good strides. Its top forty, five. I'd say team at the moment if the numbers our wrecked. Okay, that's a pretty big improvement. Right. Considering where Virginia's been decade, that's an improvement for UVA right now. They're sitting at three into the run the ball pretty well. I worry that the defense gives out against the team like Miami, so I am going to take the canes here, but I do fear that I am walking into a bit of a trap of my own making. So give me the canes would not at all. Surprise me for Gina covers this point spreader if they win the game outright. This is the remember Kurt bankers first-half last year. That's what this game is. I sure letdown spot first Miami going on the road. Virginia's not a team like northwestern or Utah that is built to just spotlight problems, but I don't know. Something's rubbing me the wrong way about this Miami team. The loss of Amman Richards really is a huge bummer. Hopefully, he gets better just physically and lives a really good life, but he has done playing for Miami, which will affect their offense. Moving forward, Virginia. There's a lot to kinda like, but not a lot to really, really like they generate some big plays. I do like their receivers, a good amount, but this is a tough, Miami secondary. I'm gonna take the points. Okay. I think Virginia does enough in this game to put a pretty big scare and to Miami, but Miami pulls it out Virginia's like the girl or guy after summer break in high school or they come back. It's like, hey, what are they up to. Let's what's going on over there. Three and a half inches taller. It's going on over there. Moving on can tap backboard ten thirty PM eastern on f s one Colorado at USC USC a touchdown favourite here. Look. I'm gonna take Colorado with the points. Yeah, they're good against the pass. They should be able to generate a pass, rush against JT Daniels and I'm just gonna laid out there. I am afraid for my life. If I bet against Colorado, those fans were so mean earlier in the year. I don't wanna put myself through that. It was free range cruelty, tie. It wasn't too bad. So. We USC is leaps and bounds more talented than anything Colorado has faced thus far. Yes, agree. Maybe it's a bit of a letdown spot in that close win, close issue in against Aaron state USC coming off a bye believe, right? Yeah, at home against Colorado. I in, it's like a, it's a late eastern time kickoff, right?.

"We're used to sink Florida defensive lines coming through, but for Florida to to handle LSU's defense like they did felt like a big step forward for the Gators. Yeah, it wasn't the cleanest of games. I don't know if anyone know it would be otherwise, but we saw four turnovers. His nineteen penalties a combined eight of thirty. The Ellen third downs really defensive-minded game, but LSU definitely had more trouble with forms front. I was impressed with how Florida ran the football. It's bad. Why? Since I watched a Florida game and it felt like they had a cohesive ground attack between what Michael p Ryan, who ran angry in this football game and even Jordan, scarlet. Both of them I thought were exceptional. Maybe not eye-popping numbers, but really did get the job done. I was impressed with Florida here and you're right, we'll talk about an and Kentucky and a little bit specifically. Kentucky on defense is, is a pretty valid opponent for not just other SEC teams. Really anyone in the country. They play angry own their defensive front. And perhaps we've come to a point where we need to reevaluate how Kentucky health, Laura, how Mississippi State figure into the mixture in the SEC. But specifically as. As it relates to this game and nice win for Florida. I will say this though, Florida next week at vandy maybe a once in a lifetime. Let down look ahead sandwich game these times it. Maybe it's an open faced game because it's not truly an opponent on the other side of the vandy game. It's a by, but we've got obviously a huge win at home over LSU on the road next week at vandy, then a buy week and then Georgia. So I feel like there's an opportunity next week to play a sound and maybe take a home dog home dog skew on the Vanderbilt Commodores. Yeah. Vandy has scored thirteen and a half points. They've averaged thirteen and a half points in their last two SEC games. They get killed by Georgia loose comfortably to South Carolina. So I think Florida may win that game ugly in a a twenty two eleven kind of way. Exactly. Oh, exactly. But I, yeah, I don't. I don't see vandy really bringing it to the wire big win though. For the Florida Gators again, twenty seven and nineteen. They win at home and onward. They go. Let's stay in the SEC. Texas am twenty. Kentucky, fourteen this game went to overtime and it featured a giant blink, a giant Dave. Throwing off the crossbar on a forty three yard field goal, which is something you see a whole lot of, but especially on a day where a Missouri kicker hit a fifty seven yarder about midway up the net on a wet field. So Ryan college kickers have gotten better feels over the course of time. Not often. You see a dunk off the crossbar and a forty three yarder. But this one goes to overtime in large part due to Kentucky's defense, which got a really big play on a strange kellyn mon- blunder with about four minutes left am is up fourteen to seven. Most importantly, at that point, they're covering the point spreads seeing as how they were my lock of the week Mon. Does this little pirouette in the backfield? I don't know what he's trying to do puts the ball on the ground, Kentucky scoops and scores at that's how they end up tying up. Up will it appears Texas a. and m. recovers it before an offensive lineman? Also just buffs it over Kentucky player. Yeah, important clarification. Yeah. Then the game goes to overtime. Then we have Kentucky, don't you get off the crossbar and then eventually Trayvon Williams running it into the end zone for the w I was impressed with Kentucky's defense. It's apparent that I've underestimated them throughout the course of the season. I was also impressed with an EMS defense because Kentucky was held to just one hundred seventy eight total yards of offense. Benny Snell rendered mostly ineffective, just sixty yards on the ground. Anamika wasn't a pretty game, wasn't a pretty w, but they did get the job done. It was technically over a top fifteen opponent and certainly one of the better defenses in the country. So good on them. Good on JIMBO Fisher. Yeah, tech CENA with as much as they struggled upfront, protecting Callum aunt who was was okay. He made plays and Trayvon Williams by the..

"The airtime in your area. Sucky defense certainly played well tonight, Jeff. Being asked to come up with a big stop on third and one had been asked to do a lot tonight. They got the turnover Kentucky good knew anything with it. And the second touchdown for AM earlier in this half came as a result of a fluke. It was a crossing pattern to Buckley deflected off his hand. And it hit the tight end stirred burger right in stride. And he ran in for the touchdown for forty six yards out. Yeah. Just four penalties against the AM all five yards. It's tough to play eleven on thirteen. And that's the way it's been the referees. Have not been dying to Kentucky tonight straight. I pull back the twelfth, man. Is in the game and front of Trayvon Williams mon- under center, that's lieutnant. Play fake hit me back of all. Battled. Florida's scooped up by Kentucky. Darius. Touchdown. Stupid score. How about that? Darius west comes up with the interception. And they're the big fella. I think that was. Number McCoy that tried to pick it up. Instead of just fall on the ball is what you told top. He doesn't it squirts free at Darius is right there to pick it up and walk into the end zone. Stunned crowd with the little over four minutes to go here. Am trying to run out the clock to get a key first down. Williams hit in the backfield. So the penetration to law. The play is what started it they forced the fumble. And Kentucky with a chance to tie on miles Butler's point after I have no idea what they're waiting on. I guess every touchdown. Call is is reviewed in. Birmingham. But many picked up the fumble. And ran it in. You cannot go back and call a penalty after a play. But I think miss Texas. I wanted to call them. Mississippi State, Texas, ain't got lucky. It looked to me like McCullum. The the the center was pulling out before snapped the ball movement before the snap. But you can't go fly that right? AM has a player down over on the far side. But it's outside the boundaries. So it could be what's going on here. I see. Fourteen thirteen am at the moment is Kentucky awaits the potential tying point after for miles Butler out of Paducah Kentucky. L the break that Kentucky needed a night one. It's offense has struggled mightily. The defense comes up with the touchdown. It's the second fumble recovery for a touchdown this season. For the Kentucky defense. I I did not mention McKenzie Milton for UCF he put up five touchdowns as well. For some reason you've left him out of the conversation CF they won the national title. Let them in the playoff. Let them in any thoughts about trace McSorley. No. Think traces out of the conversation at this moment. Don't forget Wayne Haskins. Penn State is status say Pitt by the way to that young. But Dr Dari noca- from Dr Ian Mel heard here, Saturday mornings on ESPN one thousand and the ESPN app chance to talk a little bit about Texas and in house, they feels that takes could be Clemson the winner. This game deter is determined by can Texas A and M upfront on the offensive line peel back in some way, give opportunities for kellyn and the quarterback Trayvon Williams. Running back to gain any sort of productive production up against that defensive line. We know the names Cleland Farrell, Dexter Lawrence Christian Wilkins, Austin, Brian. They are the best defensive line in football. They are all four preseason. First team all ACC picks. They'll all be in the NFL, and if Amn can in some. Way allow their skill guys to gain any semblance of offensive yards. They'll have a chance in this game. It all comes down to me to protection for Kellerman, the A and M quarterback and opening up holes for Trayvon Williams who went for two forty last week that really is just rolling the dice. There is he said it without saying it he actually likes I sound like he likes am or if nothing else closer than the experts think Clemson. I don't know if that is the case, see, here's what it comes down to from gambling standpoint guys. Sometimes you overweight, the coach so much new program. Right. So it's like, oh, what's JIMBO, right. So Jim, oh, get them right now. No, no, JIMBO will not get them right in this game against Clemson. Because it happens to be Clemson whether it's one quarterback or to Clemson is the quality salt favorite Adam in this game. Yeah. I don't think you could have said it any better jimbo's great. And he might have a an equal game plan to take down. Clemson. He's have the athletes. He doesn't have the players to do it. This is the first year. He doesn't have the guys at Texas A that can go up. He like. I say. Holes. It's not opening up holes against that defensive line. Listen, it's not like Texas ain't now is some unknown school. They were pretty good someone underachieved. It's not like, they're they don't have talent. They've got more money than God down there. And you know, that they're putting all the efforts into the football program. They're going to have over one hundred thousand people at Kyle field tonight. It's going to be rocking. But I agree that clemson's gonna roll in this game. And I don't think it's as close as people may making it seem I just think it's a little bit of the east coast bias where top team heading to go play another big program. That's not ranked and trying to build the game up more than it, really. Is. I think it'll be a little lower scoring than the experts think. Oh, it's so in other words, Adam is going with Dari lights the aggies plus twelve lower school. See I wonder I agree with dollar. I think the under on the fifty four and a half is where I would play. That's up to fifty four and fifty one fifty one and a half. That's changed since I wrote this down yesterday afternoon. So I I'm saying like, oh, I'm telling you low scoring, but I think Clemson stole the better team. I don't think it's going to be close if you like the, and you think they're gonna compete, and I don't believe that's going to be the case. Not necessarily. No. I don't think. I don't think. I mean, you could put you you could be up. It could be a thirty to ten games stolen under via thirty five to seven and still the under. I'm just trying to just trying to get your where you guys are going with that. All right number currently is at fifty one and a half or yesterday. It was at fifty four and a half. It's dropped three points. Get stuff early. If we if we have if we have Chicago college tailgate shirts. Let's get lines early. Like, it would be that would be the logo. That'd be army. We don't have votes on that some censorship. I though lines early hit lines. We're not. Well, that's where your mind goes. Yeah. I mean, Eric. How's that? We're we're gambling and second of all we don't have the budget for that. What's your t-shirt? Oh, yes. We do. We do job along with Chris here on ESPN ESPN app. All look at what's on my screen. Okay. We'll do this for Yatom. Dave Radson was on and Silvy what to expect from Illinois going for big batch up against the leather necks of western Illinois afford to lose that game. A to win MAC team from a year ago with a new coach. So you know to me to come back in the way, they did. I thought they played really well in the second half. I mean, you know, they scored twenty eight points in the second half. They never scored more than twenty four in a game last year. There were a hundred teams that average more than twenty four points per game last year that was the most Illinois scored any day. So I thought AJ Bush looked good in the second half. It feels like he's a really good fit for this offense. They brought up a rod Smith the offensive coordinator from Arizona. It's a lot more spread uptempo kind of stuff with running quarterback. He was the brains. Behind Khalil Tate last year in terms of developing that offense, and and he took the Pac twelve by storm. So I'm optimistic that that they played the way they did in the second half. But you know, again, there aren't that many games on the schedule where they could play like they did in the first half and have a chance to come back. They gotta look much better against western. And then I think south Florida is going to be a real challenge in Soldier Field a week from tomorrow that'll be a very good. Gauge of where this team is. There's your guy day revson from the big ten network on the preview of Illinois against western a night game too. By the way in champagne for that big -til tilt. I do you guys have a number on this. I I see it off the board here because it's western have you guys seen a number four Illinois western tonight. If and if you don't give me a number for this. I will find a number. I just wondering if we hit our Illinois quota of we said Illinois enough to fill. Our we need to talk about Illiinois quota. I I do not have a line for not to give me a number. Western by six. Ha. Latest.

"We've got what I would consider mailman three monster games in college football. But a whole slew. Of near monster games. In college football. Very interesting week two games in college football. We'll get folks ready for week one in the NFL. Of course, it started with a rather ugly penalty fast in Philadelphia on Thursday. That ended with a phenomenal defensive play by the eagles to beat Atlanta. So the chance wanna know the falcons dropped their first game. But we'll get into the some of the other games that really get our attention here as we as we get cruising along Melbourne. So you tell me of all of the games that we get today in college football. Gimme the big one in your mind. The one you are most looking forward to well. It's the SEC Dario when you get a game down at Williams Brice stadium. And you get a game at three thirty Georgia, South Carolina, Georgia has its sights set on winning a national title. They played for the national title last year. Didn't get it done when to abroad Alabama back, and I think for Kirby smart to recruit the way he has to have so much town on the offensive side of the ball went to see if the defense can get up to speed and beat to the level. They needed to be with all the losses. They had case in point roquan Smith not being there. But I think you look at Georgia South Carolina with Bentley and the weapons he has around in particularly catching the football with deebo and Ed. Edwards and other. So I would think that would be the game. I would focus on. But today Dari now in Tempe. Arizona we've talked about you're going out there already just said there's something historical can happen in Tempe. Todd mcshay. My good buddy Todd Todd just doing something at noon. He's never done before. We'll talk about that at nine forty five today. And there is a play in college football play football in general. But in college football, they refused to run this play. It's one of the best place in football is become kind of a dinosaur. I'm gonna talk about that during the show as well. About think about where I'm going with the plate the offensive play college football team that got beat last week should have us and didn't and more team should use it. But don't what all what? Okay. Okay. All right. Good. I'm by the way, I'm with you on this Georgia, South Carolina. A lot of people are are on this game cock bandwagon here, and it's going to be a hundred and twenty degrees on the field of williams-brice. Not the Georgia can't play in. That place gets hotter than any stadium. I've ever been inside. All afternoon. Three thirty kick. It is. And we can't get we can't get under ninety two ninety three for a high in the Carolinas. Right. I mean, it's been unbelievable. But on the field. The offense really struggled for South Carolina year ago, and they still one nine football games. Now, they went nine games without deebo Samuel. And there's ten actually and there's no question that impacted them. So he's back made a highlight reel one handed touchdown catch last week. They are they have a shot. I would not be surprised if South Carolina beats Georgia. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they did. And that is an enormous game in the SEC east, but an opportunity for two guys that are close friends both played the same position at Georgia will champion Kirby. Smart you go head to head there. How about a game tonight on ESPN seven eastern. Number two, Clemson hits the road to face, Texas. Am two coaches that are very familiar with one another they faced of eight times, JIMBO Fisher and Dabo Sweeney. They've all been in ACC games. Of course, when JIMBO was at Florida state Daboh on the herbstreet and Fitzsimmons podcast on facing, JIMBO for a ninth time now that will be strange, I've known JIMBO time. And and we've had a lot of epic battles. If you will have great respect for the job. He did it Florida state. I don't have any doubt that he'll really build a special program there in college station, but it'll be strange. And you know, I wish you had a lot of other schools to choose from. But he chose the one school that just happened to be on our schedule for this year and next year. So looks like we're going hook it up a couple more times here. Yeah, there's a certain familiarity there make no mistake. This thing comes down to one thing for me. And tell me if you agree or disagree. But I think the winner of this game deter is determined by can Texas A and M upfront on the offensive line. Peel back in some way, give opportunities for kellyn Ma and the quarterback Trayvon Williams. Running back to gain any sort of production production up against that defensive line. We know the names Cleland Farrell, Dexter Lawrence Christian Wilkins, Austin, Brian. They are the best defensive line in football. They are all four preseason. First team all ACC picks. They'll all be in the NFL, and if Amn can in some way, allow their skill guys to gain any semblance of offensive yards. They'll have a chance in this game. It all comes down to me to protection for kellyn Ma the A and M quarterback and opening up holes for Trayvon Williams who went for two forty last week. Yeah. A great talent. Then as healthy, and he can give them four JIMBO would have Dalvand cook and others have done. It's been tailback tight in and stern. Burger a tight end has been a factor as well already. And that's what JIMBO. Oh, us heavily, Nick, O'Leary and other end dance. Tailback tight end dominated stern burger Williams key guys. But you're running into the Clemson defense and Mon has to give them some balance. Is this a reality? Check for a and they get a real dose. There's no doubt about this is this is where Clemson is national championship caliber, Texas and M is not but Texas A&_M. Hey, they feel like hey, we can upset Clemson. And we can shock the world. Do all that great. But when you think about what travels defense and Clemson has it and a running game. So yeah, Clemson has everything in place, and I wanna see if they can block McCoy and outstanding center can block that group of NFL caliber defensive lineman. I don't think they can as a group. I think how we motivate Christian Wilkins off to a nice start last week. He didn't have sack opportunities last year didn't have production from the from getting that backfield sack in a quarterback. He did last week extra Lawrence. Will he stepped up? He's healthy. Now, you know Farrell off the edge. You can get it done. They are loaded. This is like I say, this is the fearsome foursome of college. No doubt about us and Canadian MTO with that can deal with it. Yup. Looking Trayvon Williams at two forty rushing last week against cupcake. Can he do it against this defense? I say running into the teeth of that Clemson defense. We'll see I think it's going to be a little bit too much for for for Texas. Am but it should be all well but atmosphere, oh my goodness, man. Twelve man will be out of control tonight. I mean, it's going to be an absolute beautiful seed tonight coming up on ESPN, seven o'clock eastern AM. And Clemson, I'm with you, though, the A and M front really the team over the last few years under Kevin has been characterized as soft, and if JIMBO has not changed that early in his tenure that offensive line can and will get run over by Clemson not allowing any production anti windows to throw any room to run for the Aggie offense. Finally, the third big game. As I see it real quick west coast, eight thirty USC number seventeen taking on tenth ranked Stanford. You know, we do a fun little office pool every week here. Ten of us do it where just for just for pride. We'll you know. We'll prideful people where we pick seven games against the spread and of the seven this week. This was the hardest one for me Stanford's a six point favorite at home against Southern Cal hard for me to figure this out. But I ended up taking Stanford minus the six in this office pool. And I'll tell you why. Because USC gave up three hundred eight yards on the ground UNLV last week three hundred and eight yards on the ground. What is Stanford going to want to do? They're going to want to do what they didn't do last week against San Diego State. They're going to want to run the football Bryce love was held in check because San Diego State loaded the box. Will fortunately K J Castilla was able to make them pay by throwing the football and finding his new favorite target are Siga Whiteside. Right. I think Sanford can run the football against USC. And I think you do that you believe the clock. You put drives together, and it's a much better defense than SE face last week against UNLV. They can I think at least start to rattle potentially JT Daniels the first year starting quarterback. But that was a tough game for me to come up with their you went back to UNLV. Lexington Thomas is the runningback five nine about one hundred seven hundred seventy five pounds who can ROY scoot? He had fourteen carries on it and thirty six yard story along of seventy one in the seventy one yard run. If you take that out so at thirteen for sixty five that's a five yard average against that USC defense Cameron Smith back healthy. The defense has talent. There's no question if stars at every line of defense USC does. But I think for Bryce love they certainly want to get him going and get him back. Yeah. Ended up Heisman talk. And really make a statement that Bryce love is one of the best offensive players in college football. So those are those are the three biggest games. Mel at least as I seem. I don't know if you agree. But there are a lot of other ones, and we're going to dive into a lot of.

"Get up is presented by Genesis. The official luxury vehicle on the NFL. And we'll get back to the NFL, but I superstar is on the court last night, including Serena Williams at the US open taking on honest, Asia stove, and Serena started slowly and then went into full Terminator mode dropped the first two games of the match and then won twelve out of thirteen in run wins the first six, three there on the smash unstoppable. In the second match point at five love in the second set, Serena Williams on fire six, three, six love on her way to the US open final for the first time in four years. It's honestly really incredible year ago. I was fighting for literally my life at the hospital after I had the baby. So every day I step out on this court, I am so grateful that I am have an opportunity. Food. No matter what happens in any match. You know, semifinals I just feel like I've already won so. You see what it means to her and she's playing so. Well, right now she's an familiar position favored to win the US open. Final minus two seventy at the west gate, Las Vegas super book. She's one each of her last three, chances at the US open final as a heavy favorite in each of them. The ball downfield touchdown, welcome back college football, the high older, read one done. Now, let's get down to the business with the season is about. Grunt that is a tough atmosphere and tough place to play. Now, do they difficult game to grind of hitting the road approving of last week's? We is one anomalies. Or last week's losses indicators out there on the table. There's no more margin for error who is really as good as they show and not who is that overrate who is wanting the entire nation slept pool. They definitely can play with anybody in the country right in the end zone. Paul about state run what team has the ability to raise their level as they, of course, to rise to two occasion. Yeah. Let the grind kid. About this time tomorrow morning, Maria Taylor and I will be in college station. She is there now to preface on week two of the college football season, Maria ahead, a chance to talk to those Texas and players, including Trayvon Williams. What did the running back tell you about his preparation for this week's matchup against Clemson. Well, Jen, Trayvon Williams is coming off of two hundred and forty yard rushing game, and he knows that won't be as easy and week to to accomplish that Clemson defense that only allowed thirteen points per game a season ago and led the ACC and sacks. But one thing that he said for sure that JIMBO Fisher has made this Texas fan. Mtm focus on every single little detail says that this pro style offense has so many different wrinkles and options that they'll have ways to adjust and adapt to the Clemson defense on the fly. So one of their preparations has definitely been making sure that they can make a change as the game is progressing according to what they're saying from this Clinton Defense. Yeah, a big keta success has always been able to make those adjustments. What about killing mon-?.
