"Did he want to be in this movie or was it a stipulation with stone Sony? It's like okay Tom. We love you but you gotta be in it. If you want to get this movie made. I don't know I would be shocked if that was part of it. We need you Tom. I'm glad you wrote it that we we need that face but it looks good h I think I think like any Tom Hanks involved World War Two type projects I mean. They're they've all been good right. Producing acting doesn't matter as long as he's involved in your World War Two property. It's going to be good doesn't seem to matter. I think that conceptually. It sounds good because I watched the trailer in it. I as a good uh this reminds me a little bit about midway. Where like they did with too much of an over reliance on CGI. In you know for me I WANNA see Thomas. Back to you. Know say roots and Mortis Character or acting really right and norm reading about the plot. I think there is a lot more room for this to be good. Because it's more about him. Not being confident captain and like this is his first command. The as self doubts. Yes like overcome on this. That to me is cool so I think there's there's room for the story really good. I really hope that they didn't over rely on too much. Cgi stuff and did a lot more about a characterization is do you think some of it looks a little off in the trailers. Yeah I do too but it's a trailer and typically the first trailer the CGI is not complete. We know that so. I'm not going to like criticize it and have a firm stance because of that. I thought it looked a bit off. But I'M GONNA say I'm looking forward to the soy base and the fact that I we I've critical to appoint of I'm just like I WANNA see comics. Do a little more thought. Maybe him not play a real person. That'd be good he's not branching out a little bit. We we love seeing. Tom Will to stuff. I want to rewatch the band of brothers and the Pacific at some point soon because those are both fantastic band of brothers fucking. That's one of the best things ever ever made for television fact I remember. He thinks I'm on the Tom. Hanks wikipedia now. And I don't know why but seen pictures of Tom. Hanks from the eighties like really. He's he looks so young it's it it. It's a really weird thing. He Tom Hanks looked Twani and then he just started looking fifty. Yes there's like. He looks the same as he did when he became the fifty looking. Tom Hanks but he just he's he's look either twenty or fifty s all life which is fine. I mean that's good still looks great by like. Yeah you're right. There's no like inbetween age picture for Tom. Hanks feel like We'll see like Moluccas filmography I want to tell you the film where that that he made that. Turn which yeah. I think I think the switch so it wasn't saving private Ryan yet. Any was older than that. Especially if you remember if it's heroin was pushed all the way back this maybe use between forrest. Gump and Saving Private Ryan. Because he looked young in forrest. Gump people forget he produced big factory wedding often forgotten fat but he also did the sequel so he didn't abandon he didn't abandon it. I know this movie came out after. Saving Private Ryan but castaway like he looked. I WANNA say younger but it makes because he looked a little heavier. I Dunno castaway. That's old Tom Hanks to me. Yes I think maybe the Davinci Code Aster cast not that far after castaway. Okay like six years and I think between that point. I think he was like young. Tom Hanks versus wiser Tom. Hanks I'm not gonNA use older okay because I don't want to be rude because he looks great still and I don't want to add those negative connotations. But he's wiser Tom. Hanks Rose Garden that we as a little kid. And he's the gangster. Yes that that was. That was pretty good. Castaways Mendez castaways like the transition period. Because there are some shots that he looks like wiser. Hanks and some it looks like younger. Hanks that's like the transition movie. Okay okay I think I found it in. It's the terminal. When he played Victor Nagorski specific. He definitely looked a little older in that one. Determine only look up the Terminal Luo yelled. I didn't like the terminal terminal perfectly fine movie. Let's all calm down here. It's a bad movie just saying like I didn't I didn't like it at thought it was He's a sweet man. Victor just trying to get get away for get back to his home country. I don't remember he's GonNa Leave or comeback first-section movie for you and is Emirates home country of the. It was a made up name and it was like war-torn but and then like the leader of TSA was an asshole. Google victims of the guy. He he looks like he's the inbetween point right here. I think this might be it. He said I like relic and I like with the transition period for Hank's young hank. Wise Hanks Index. Yeah let's move on. Next movie is antebellum which is from drawer Bush and Christopher Wren's and I believe being produced by some of the team that did OSS and get out and you know because they've plastered all over the trailer. Which if you can it do it? Sport Stars in the Lead Role Janelle monae successful author. Veronica Henley finds herself trapped in a nightmarish reality and must find a way to break free of the Hora hand. It looks like she goes back to. The days of slavery are Jodi Decipher. What the Fuck Athens and definitely on purpose. This is one with youtube comments on everyone replies and says the same thing like wow they give away anything which is rare these days with like fast and furious giving out a form in a trailer for the newest movie. I don't really know what to take from this. But it is super intrigued. It worked exactly. How one of those teaser type trailer should work. I think they've been teasing this in trailers or four movies for a while right. Can you've seen this in theaters right? Yes sauce I WANNA say lease like three ish months six months ago. Probably I travel for this. I like the the belittle the premise that we get. There's much more to say but I think we're on board that if you can show intriguing stuff to look at some sounds. Kinda get your interest. Get your attention. That's what should do I'm A. I'm a big fan of. I think she's beyond being a fantastic Vocal artists which many people obviously know. She's a great actress to choose in hidden figures. I think welcome tomorrow and wall very bad movie. I think she was very good in. And I this is our first lead role right. No that for sure I wanNA say yes. But I don't know for sure because Harry if she inherited in I'm not gonNA count like Rio to add. I think this is her first lead role. Yeah I think you're right it is it. Yeah so I'm excited for it. I have that that's the way I think if I could say like this is how I want teaser trailers to be. I don't know anything about it but I'm like okay. I got my attention. I agree again. You can do that when you can put up makers get out on us. Clean your pocket one more trailer than a bit of a bit of an ad. Read trolls Infinity War. Baby third trailer for this thing Got a James Corden joke at the end of the trailer. They talk about the strings. Which again is just feels like feels like the infinity stones movies trying very hard. This movie is putting in a lot of effort. It looks great. Yeah the troll is fantastic. I know we knew we know if you listen to pod you know. Trills is an enjoyer of the first trolls. It's not on our future review list and it's been pointed out by people like we wish you were reviewing trolls. I don't think you really do but I think people know that you are fan of trolls and wicked in the has the cast lists is is insane. Poppy andbranch that's what Huge huge cast. It's Anna Kendrick Justin Timberlake. James Corden Ozzy Osborne Rachel Bloom. George Clinton Mary J. Blige Kelly Clarkson San Rockwell. Same rockoff dislike in the Middle Mississippi musicians. Gwen Stafani Ron funches iconic Pop Dornan Keenan Thompson. That's a big one should. Ats in here. Why not you never no chance the rapper? Is it an undisclosed role? There's K pop trolls though but it's red velvet. I don't know who they are. I imagine they're huge so it's probably that's that's good that's good for marketing. They couldn't get beat. Uso Dimension a schedule Pretty fucking full of Dude said podcasters Justin Travis Griffin mcelroy. Meeting gets I said Travis Travis McCoy I thought that was grabbing McCoy as well at that traveling McCoy is going to be as we tweet it out from. Mar Our account which which are cat at pledge. Camera pod on twitter. We were we pride ourselves in being the first to get trailers out a lot because we try we try to be the source for for news and all that. Shit so we have a lot a real stuff on there and we dropped something fake now and then boy it puts people's heads in Pretzel. And the tweet about Ben Stiller. It's we tweeted fun. Fact fast and furious nine star. Ben Stiller was originally going to be a member of the Band Gym Class Heros with Travis McCoy and Matt McGinley before they went in a different direction and no one really knew heartache that mostly because we also added the fast and furious nine thing which at the time of that tweet if you searched it there were still some rumors out there that with possible so anyway broke their brains out in Gym Class Heroes but this movie trill this whole week and I just had this thing in my head like vh one behind the music for I know. F- FERAL does it. But just say like there was one guy who was brought under blurred lines to make the sound. No they just brought the one guy. He's like this guy's the best you're in the business and that's all he did. Bill Clinton and then I also have this other skit. I made up where you guys ever heard the unplugged version. Leyla no so before he does it he says. See if you can this one and you know like the crowd claps and then they start figuring out. It's Layla and then they kind of clap more and I just imagining a guy in the background. It's like it's Leyla Leyla. That's Leyla Anyway. Brain dump that but the unplugged version of the real version of Layla more. There's there's a version off of A. I think it's like one more car one more driver. Eric Clapton live album of Leyla. I like the actual guitar version with the second part of Leyla to got to have all eight min minute experience. There's it's it's they're very different but I think they're both fantastic. I mean the the Cousteau Guan's great because it's just a completely new arrangement for the song. Yeah the when Mike. The way he delivers like got me on my knees late like he says them all. Yeah it's a different song. Great Dude that that. That album was a bad albums like the most boomer album of all time classroom Eric Clapton. Unplug like that is the the the the pro pro at the top of the boomer album list. You know you've got a good song you can just. Redo it a bunch of times and it's still equally as good We'll get to our second half news here and some quick things news one that I know Ken jackets very excited about first episode..

So the big guy tells me, you know, we have this contest a little after fun where you text and all this stuff, and you could win a green. And obviously, it's a national contest than people. Choose win. Well, why why don't you ask Travis McCoy Franklin? Hey, just picked up a grand nice see say, we're actually on a roll of a several people have one listening to this station in this thing. And this is like a Cumulus wide national contests. Travis can I borrow twenty. Say so well, the the reason being is because we have we have so much clout. You know, we just got so much clo-. Well, and wink loves us, wink, love wink, is me and wink, just like an Alvin you're up next the Phil Valentine show, Alvin what's up? Long time listener first-time caller. I'm a retired police officer and earlier pick the topic was rumors. I think with the brick events of the news about that topic, maybe has moved on discuss. Rumors discuss a -pinion. Well, you're you're you're into biz. How do these things get twisted around so much so early? Well, I can give you an example of one time. I was the public information officer for our department here, and I learned early on that if we had homicide or or major crime that brought out the news agencies. I had to go in and says the situation get them some information early own or that board would be sealed by bystanders or people that lived in the neighborhood, and I can give you an example of that we had one shooting of a involved in one of the apartment complexes out near campus. And I get there. And of course, the the media starting together. So we in assess the situation. Find out it was a drug deal gone bad, basically at one of the apartments. So I come out, and I'm a poor approach by of reporters who are telling me that the residents there say that a prison bus has crashed prisoners have escaped and somebody's been killed. So it boggles the mind, but you have to most of most if amazing officers are probably tell you that if you don't feed the media little something early they'll find something around with. Well, that is a good point. Because if they don't get it from you, they're going to get it from somebody else and somebody else's using that be reliable. Yes. And and I can tell you. I don't hear a lot of police officers calling in and let me give you a little idea why that is mostly south. There's probably ninety five percent or better very conservative because we see the real world as it is. But you gotta understand a lot of police officers work in urban areas. A lot of your urban governments lean more liberal. So you really have to be careful about what you say in voicing your opinion on retired now. So I'll tell you grew. And and you know, it concerns me this issue is gun control. Highly advocate. Anyone who wants to take the time? To learn the safer seater Albright handgun to keep a weapon your home. Because it's just a matter of fact, I've worked round well thirty three years in police work, and I will tell you with the exception of a few bad apples. Most police officers will run into harm's way on your behalf. But until we in villa or develop. In Star Trek. We can't be there. That's run times before things go bad. And I know in in my time in law enforcement things changed early on if you had a Bank robbery, and they had hostages. We would we would try to negotiate. Now, we're taught if it's something going down, and there's cheating going on we rush in we go straight in. But it still takes us down to get there know, that's what people don't understand. I appreciate your, you know, you're a lot of times. You're just a write up the report, unfortunately, you can't be there to protect everybody. We'll be back.

"No, I left that credit union many many years ago. Okay. But I feel work with credit union. I consult them I automate their processes, so I it's a dichotomy of mine. I love I love my credit union. But I do I spend more time with coaching individuals families groups and public speaking, I, you know, I get paid to speak people want to pay me to talk. Okay. So it's just that this next book that I that I'm about the p- self-published again another book, I'm NFL publish. It is something that we need to hear because one of the number one reasons why people divorce because of money, misunderstandings, and and the cash conflicts, okay, permanent. So by yeah. So by understanding within the book will help some families to not argue about money as much. Okay, perfect. But I think before before we go we end the first half. I really want you to get into one what you did to get out of that forty thousand dollars in unsecured debt sixty thousand dollars, including Carr notes, and what have you and how you then built your business, please tell us step by step. You come to this revelation. I'm he you say to yourself Tara. This does not look, right. I'm managing a Bank or credit union on my own. I'm staying on budget and on target yet. I feel like a hypocrite because. My own finances are not where they need to be. I have all of these as you said you had a STD substantially tremendous debt. You you write this book the book is resonating with people and selling how then did you get yourself on track? And then start building this business as the money coach. When I wrote the book, I actually shares some tips that I started to do the first thing that I did was I got help because coaches knee coaches to and so even though I was able to give advice I wasn't obviously able to take my own advice. So I gotta financial coach I got I got a a financial advisor who was also a coach to help me to organize to focus and to help me with my discipline. And you know, within that I realized I had some emotional and mental health issues that I needed to deal with as well. And so I'm not only did I did a financial coach. But I also went to counseling because there were emotional reasons why I was doing what I was doing. Once I was able to get that handled. I then have to understand where I was. So I wrote out all of my debt what the payments were what the interest rates were. And I created a plan to start paying them down. And you know, it was hard. But I have the practice financial accident. And that's the biggest thing you get financial STD's or s CD, otherwise, your doctor or your financial adviser is going to tell you that you need to stop you need to stop using credit for a minute you need to flow down on the spending. So I had to practice financial app and not necessarily stop spending. But I needed to put myself within Ramadorai that I'm only going to spend this amount. And I'm only going to do it through cash, and I'm not gonna use credit because we're not gonna knock down credit if he paid off and then use it again. So it was a couple of years that I just didn't use credit at all, and I focused on paying down the debt, and I only use cash, and so when I was able to start knocking down the debt and feeling we're comfortable back when the kicks were really relevant impractical. And I share though to put some of my clients, and they saw success as well one moment, implying a part of me clients clients, meaning clients from your credit union or was this from your own personal coaching business. We're trying to figure out how you transitioned. Yeah. So when I was with the credit union after I decided to leave the credit union, which was a maybe two or three two years after I wrote the book, I had a coaching business. I had a financial coaching business because did you start the business because you're still like we we we want to get very granular. This is a show for entrepeneurship. We're envisioning you a president of a credit union. You write this book, you're selling most of your copies on Amazon. Yes. On and also on my website. Great. So you're selling the books on your website. How then do you transition to being a money coach to you? First of all you built the website while you were at the credit union. Correct. Correct. Okay. Great. And then how did you start getting clients? What exactly did you did you form LLC? We want you to get very specific and very granular with respect to this transition. Please. Gotcha. So when I decided to leave the credit union, I knew that I was going to with that was a business. So the first thing that I did was I established a legitimate business. I it Salish an LLC with my counting to help me with the best tax structure for that. I got a business license, and the the name thing is with the social media because I knew a lot of my clients were on social media. So I made sure I started sharing what I did. And a lot of people don't say they don't want to be on social media because they don't want to tell their business, and I tell people all the time if you don't tell your business on social media, people don't know you're in business. So is about what business you're sharing. So I started doing means almost eight years ago before means were very popular and people were calling me, narcissistic, because I had my picture with my quotes on it. And but people started saying about a money amount of money. And that's when I created the website and started a blog now starting a blog on my website is what really got me traction and attention because I was providing pit sharing it on social media. And then when people click the information, they came to my website. And that is the biggest strategy that helped me is by providing content to share on my website and share on social media to pull people to my website. Because if they like my information than they're going to hang around and see what I have to offer. I also got a coach I had to get a business coach, and they are the ones that taught me strategy taught me about what a call to action is a call to action is you have to tell people what you want them to do. For more information click here. And when I started doing that people were clicking here for consultations. I started I started out really a doing free consultations for fifteen minutes. And once they understood that I knew what I was talking about. They wanted to work more with me. I gave them offer of ninety seven dollars an hour. I started out like that. But when I got the most clients, how wasn't the one on one. Type thing it was when I decided to do speaking engagements. Right. So when I decided to be for free and free for me fans for fully reimbursed for every expense. Right. So it didn't cost me anything. But I just didn't charge them. A speaker fake so churches need money person. I would speak at the church because not I'm not speaking to one person every hour for one hundred hours. Now, I'm speaking to one hundred people in one hour, and so now people gravitate to me because they want to ask me questions. And because I had the book it gave me more credibility and legitimacy and I was able to sell the book. And so that's how my coaching business really came about is by understanding where pines that I wanted where they were what they needed they needed tip, and I needed someplace for them to go. So my first website with a wig. It was a free website w I x. And you know, I don't knock people I tell people you can have a free website up in like two minutes with sites like wig because people want to they need some place to go. And if you're not if you don't own internet real estate, you're missing the boat, people will Google you. They will YouTube you they will look for you. And if you don't have a website, they questioned your legitimacy so I had to have a website there. And that's really how I started there. Once I started getting more people to see me because I did more speaking engagement, then eventually people started paying me they asked me what your speaker fee, and so then I had to get with a coach that helped me with pricing with my speaker fee because unfortunately, I didn't value myself like I should have because I'm like, oh, I'm new to the game. Maybe I'll just you hundred two hundred fifty dollars where I probably should have charged the thousand dollars per. Perfect. Perfect perfect. We this is a fascinating conversation. But that's after already proving yourself is being affective through fifteen minute free consultation. Additionally, you had a business cultural helped you increase your speaker fee. And so you make money through speaking fees, as well, very very good, please tell us what have been the most rewarding aspects of this journey in moving from being a president of a credit union to now being a full time entrepreneur money coach. The thing is the people that have been able to help on a personal level to be able to see people's minds transform. Because of a little bit of attention. And what most people don't realize lot. I did an article for black enterprise of why people don't wanna talk to financial advisers. Well, with financial advisers can be very intimidating because some financial advisers require that you have a certain amount of money where people think that it's expensive. But there are several reasons why. And so as the money coach, I tell people as the money coach or financial coach, I am like your basic training before you go off to battle. So your battle. Maybe, you know, earning more money with your investments or whatever with the financial advisor. But before you go and talk to them, let's do the basics through basic training list. Do the mindset last due to the discipline? Because if you think about big training, that's all it is they're they're reforming person's mind. They're teaching them discipline, and they're preparing them for what's gonna be next for the sergeant to go. And so that's what. Money coaches are often for isn't Lisa training. When people say, I don't know how to budget or I'm having a hard time with this. Or I need to take my credit. I don't even understand credit. And so it was my pleasure being able to use what I understand as a financial institution to be able to teach them the game because financial institutions are playing they're playing since they're not cheating. They're just playing the consumers are being taught. And so when consumers trying to play the financial game they're going to lose if they don't understand financial chef. And so that's why I decided to be the money coach because I got sick of my people lose and I needed them to understand strategy. And I needed them to understand what I was thinking. I needed them understand why cry financial decline you for loan. I need you to understand how you can get approved with the for long even with their credit. I need you to understand how to save where to save we're to make more money. And so that's been. The most rewarding thing for me in this journey is taking what I have learned in sharing it with other people. So they don't have to make the same mistakes. Or if they did they understand that. There's factor. There's resurrection financial resurrection. Wonderful, and please tell us what have been the greatest challenges. The greatest challenges need wanting it more than some of my clients. Wow. And helping those, you know, one of my friends told me carry you're going to go broke trying to help people and that was hard for me to hear because I'm a philanthropist at heart, and I love helping people. However, the people that probably need the most help probably can't afford to pay me the sea. And so I had to learn how to differentiate my heart based business from my wealth based business, and I needed to understand who clients work wealth face versus heartbe. So if I it to a commuter community or a single mom and she's having a hard time paycheck to paycheck. But she needs to understand how to manage. The financial seeing has more than likely probably doesn't have the money to pay ninety seven to three ninety seven to do a consultation with me. However, there's some people that make six figure in in Tom com. The same problem, they got the money. They're just spending it in the wrong places. The navy help with organizing their spending habits they can afford that. So I had to learn how to differentiate those two, but the diggers challenges. I either wanted it more than they did or the people that are really wanted help couldn't really pay me to help. Because the way my bills are set up. My Bill don't really care if I have a really big heart. Thank you so much for that honesty and vulnerability because I think many people can relate to that same issue. I would also ask you whether sometimes you noticed that the people who need it and might be able to actually afford. It didn't recognize it. They really need that. Lasting in. Because it's like, yeah. John de MARTINI says, you know, money shows your values money goals where it's valued the most basically, so the idea of not being able to afford something sometimes is not one that set in stone because you have the money in your Bank account physically. Right. Is there? But whether you decide you want to spend one hundred dollars on a money coaching session, or you really wanna buy another peer black shoes. Even though you have three or four pairs of black shoes ready is really a value system idea. Not an actual money issue. You're absolutely right. And what where I realized that was when I did the same thing. Right. So when I started out my business, I had the money to hire a coach. But for the first year, I didn't hire the coach let me tell you why. Because I wanted to figure it out myself. I figured that. I could probably save money by figuring out myself. Well, the problem is I spent fifty thousand hours trying to figure it out myself. Whereas if I only paid three thousand dollars for a coach, I could've made thirty thousand dollars. And so that was an expensive lesson to understand my value system. So now, I invest in coaches, I invest in conferences, I invest in systems. That's gonna teach me something to make me money and not figuring out because wealth is really not about money. Everybody in their life is probably gonna make a million dollars. It's just that it may take one person eighty years to make it through their job or takes one person a year wealth and being Richard about time. How quickly can you make the million dollars? And it all depends on how you invest your money. Makes sense makes sense makes sense. So please tell us about your your new book before money languages..
