Business is booming for plastic companies as demand for plexiglass surges
"One of the interesting things about the coronavirus pandemic is that it sparked a need for more plastic demand for everything from facials, gloves, takeaway food containers, and even bubble wrap for online shopping has gone up and with that demand is severely set back the effort to recycle this happening is big oil companies are investing hundreds of billions of dollars to create new plastic and companies that have made pledges to use more recyclable materials are even in a tough spot as new plastics are far cheaper than using recycled plastic for more on how the pandemic has accelerated the trend of creating more and not less plastic trash. We'll speak to Joe Brock special correspondent at Reuters. Before the pandemic, we had a plastic crisis and I think that there is an awareness about that. It's killing marine life. It's it's leaking toxins into drinking water in some of the world's poorest countries. Then the pandemic hits and we have this flood of new plastic containers from three takeaway. Bubble wrap because more people ordering in as they were stuck in lockdowns as well as the the lifesaving PPA, the mosques and the gowns and the bodybags, which is understandable but also you have this double whammy. Plastic recyclers are suffering like every other industry under an economic meltdown and they are unable to recycle the plastic and the price of oil from which plastic is made drops dramatically, and that means that new plastic becomes very cheap and we cyclist cannot compete with that new plastic. So you've got this sous Nami new plastic arriving on the scene we site closed. Struggling, and so this dynamic can only lead to more plastic waste. I. Think that's a very important thing that a lot of people don't realize or they forget right away as that plastic really comes from fossil fuels, oils and and petrochemicals, and as you were mentioning, you know to make new plastics these single use plastics. It's so much cheaper now than using recyclables. Companies that have pledged to use more recyclable materials in their packaging and whatnot, but they just can't keep up you know new plastics just cheaper for their business models and all of this can become a driver of climate change. Correct and I think this is something which has been overlooked toll misunderstood during the climate change debate not only plastic made from fossil fuels oil derived products and gas issues. A growing area for struggling oil and gas companies. People are driving more electric cars than moving to cleaner fuel. These oil and gas giants need to use up this oversupply of shale gas. In the US they've got dwindling opportunities to use this one area they put into is making new plastic for the developing world where there's a rising middle class in parts of Asia and Africa. The problem comes that these are the places who are feeling the plastics crisis the worst. So as oil and gas company suspending about four hundred, billion dollars to increase production of plastics to use up cheap oil and gas. These countries have no way of processing dot plastic. So with already a waste crisis, more supply coming online no way to deal with it what do you think's going to happen? And the oil and gas industry are planning to spend about four hundred, billion dollars over the next five years on new plans to make the raw materials or these new plastics virgin plastics as they're called through Reuters surveyed twelve of the largest oil and chemical firms around the world to see what they're doing about this waste. Really they're just spending a fraction of the money that they're making on sales to devote to working on waste. So you've got campaign groups on you know some politicians in some government sank the oil and gas industry we KINDA. Coat. We need to reduce plastic production and what the oil and gas industry saying his. Don't worry we've got this covered we've got a solution we are investing in recycling infrastructure. We are helping poor countries to deal with their waste, and that's where I'll story really came from. We wanted to check that claim on what we found was the pledges made by the oil and gas industry are fraction of best spending on increasing plastic production, and they will have minimal impact on reducing plastic waste. So I think that that's a key point I understand because as the oil and gas companies tell you that they are fixing plastic waste crisis. It's important to interrogate those figures and I think that's what we've thoughtfully achieve with the story. I wanted to talk a little bit more of the effects of the pandemic. As we said in the beginning, you know face masks gowns, the P.. P. That we need to protect ourselves. That's also a big thing that's going to be feeling a lot of the waste you mentioned in your article China US twelve times more face masks than they did in earlier months in the United States, they generated entire years worth of medical wastes in two months at the height of the pandemic. So this is a lot of stuff that we're going to be seeing. The effects are going to be with us for some time. Yeah I think that's right I. think that's where it's worth separating the issue here. I don't think anyone is saying that plastic is not an incredible material with multiple uses and that it helped industrial organizations to make planes lighter may cause lights I think the issue here is single use plastic on the fear is this pandemic will exacerbate that trend of single use plastic. So although people might need mosques a need gowns and these are essentials if companies were to take this opportunity to increase the use of plastic single use plastic, then it's GonNa add to the waste problem and that's something we've seen with oil and gas lobbies who since the pandemic is hit. Written to lawmakers in the US to say that single use plastic is safer than other materials. Now, scientists have found that that's not the case. So you have to question whether the plus the pandemic is being used by certain vested interest companies that they want to capitalize on this to increase their profits. I think when a lot of people think about plastic waste and the huge problem, they definitely think about our oceans plastics make up about eighty percent of the marine debris and we've seen the big problems. We've seen the Great Pacific Garbage Patch you know which is just a bunch of plastic and netting and things like that. So I think a lot of people are really focused on that when they hear about plastic problem, but I mean it's really ranges all over the place. Yeah absolutely, and I think this is a problem which affects everyone. It affects humanity and I think that you see you see it in the oceans and certainly in parts of Southeast Asia, which is considered one of the biggest toy destinations in the world of Pristine Beaches Turquoise Asians you've got these waterways completely clogged with plastic fishing communities devastated where they live to be a risk as you mentioned, each plastics in the Pacific and elsewhere, but it's not just in the ocean it's clogging up rivers. It's affecting communities where they rely on food supplies where plastic waste is. So you know this is an issue that impacts everybody and should be an issue which everyone wants to help fix. We talked a little bit about the efforts from the oil and gas companies to limit plastic waste. But one thing that I did not know I found very interesting that the world's top three plastic polluters for two years running now are Coca Cola Nestle and Pepsi Pepsico. Obviously, they have a lot of plastic packaging. Their bottles are made the bottles that hold the soda in are made from plastic, and they're constantly setting goals to use more recyclable plastic in their products and not meeting those standards and it goes back to what we were saying at the beginning it's just cheaper to use new plastic than it is to use recycled stuff. Coke and Pepsi and Nestle and the other big consumer goods coming committees giving up a a consistent message they wanna fix this problem they want to use more recycled products but when it comes to meeting those targets that consistently Mitch the Knicks over decades and then they set new talk. Now, what they're saying is we don't get the recycled material. Now they cannot get the recycled material at the right price it cheaper to buy new plastics. Now, how you're GONNA get movies like material will you need a very advanced recycling system and that's what we're highlighting in this story the investment in that respect infrastructure is simply not there the oil and gas industries Coke Pepsi, they say they're investing in it, but then investing a fraction of what they're spending on advertising on new production. And this is a competitive industry when you go into the store and you look at the bottle of coke bottle of Pepsi bottle of another brand, the price of the packaging is significant in not product and you don't want your product to be increasing because you're using more recycled plastic. So the proof in the pudding we've seen that they've made these promises before and they've missed them. So I think we need to keep checking and keep saying they're gonNA meet those promises in the feature.

Union League ads on voting exhibit removed from Center City trash cans after ‘misunderstanding’
"Bright advertisements wrapped around city big belly trash cans near the union. Lee get brought in Sansom displayed in bold the words ballot box ads, which were approved by the city. The ads were for the Union League Legacy Foundation's exhibit America's Fight for the Vote. John Mayko is executive director for the nonprofit, which is separate from the club. Somebody was confused if this was an actual Ballot box or something, and that is not the intention and all the attention was to draw people into our exhibit. So we apologize for that misunderstanding. Based on the complaint, the district attorney's election taskforce asked the nonprofit to take them down, which they did. In total. The ads were up about two hours. A city spokesperson says they inspected both trash cans and didn't find any ballots. Episode 41 FTN Watches A Movie Part 1: Cruel Jaws - Drive Of The Week
"Introduction long as we're here. Yes. Yes every episode we start with the driver the week. If you don't know what a drive is. It is a line from a movie or TV show said with exceptional velocity and volume and the stage belongs to mister Klein. All right, ladies and horror fuckers. What we have here is the 1983 Stephen King horror. Flick Christine. This is a classic one for me. It's grown up kid because it was one of the few R-rated movies was able to watch which shockingly because it's got so much bad language in this and there is a lot of drives in this and it was hard to pin-point flash drive to use is there is one point where a character just goes black for no reason, but I chose this one because there's always a reason yeah and the reason which is not the third reason but the reason off there to drive right back to back and it is it's checked estimate. So so here is to drives of the week from the Motion Picture film Christine off. I care about you. Like I love you lie, but I think we deserve one more try. Don't you give me a fucking ass? Come on, Lee expects her to still be on page other than kids today won't know that if you if you're slammed the phone down hard enough, it actually bounced and didn't hang up. So the other person might actually still be on the other line. It's true. That is true. But that's pretty much after you do the exact you bitch and she assumes you hang up. She's not going to hang around that kind of thing is so easily misunderstood, you know, don't like is it I'm just saying this isn't really that clear what he means right? Well, there's stuff. He just wanted a yes or no and you can't really fault them there and just yesterday. I think we give me a fucking no. I mean just because you make it because a lot of pressure is Dad is you know, Rodney Dangerfield and right right, right. He's gotta make that swim team. Yeah. Yeah. Bringing Democracy to the People With Amanda Litman
"So Amanda Run was founded on the day of trump's inauguration. So tell me a little bit about the organization and why you founded it. So I worked for Hillary's for two years before that for President Obama for the Florida Governor's race in for nonprofit and between the week after election day I, got a facebook message from somebody I went to college with Hey Amanda. You've worked in politics. You know this world I. Want to run for office because of trump president seems like anybody can do this. What do I do and I did? Not have an answer for him. I did not know what to tell him to go. He wanted to be more than just a volunteer and more than just voter. If he wanted to actually lead, there was nowhere that would be guaranteed to take this call. So I reached out to a whole bunch of people. One of whom became my co-founder that's incredible operative, Dross Morales for Cudjoe we wrote a plan we built a website and me launch run for something. As you said on inauguration day we thought we'd got maybe a hundred people who wanted to run for local office instead in the first week, we had a thousand as of today we're up. To more than fifty one, thousand young people across the country who've raised their hands just say I want to run for local office what next so we've built an organization that does best that we find more people who wanna run things like School Board City Council and state legislature and we help them through the process I think it's so cool and one of the things I love so much about run for something is that you proudly self identify as progressive and that you came from the Obama and DNC campaigns and I, think there is this kind of lake mistaken belief that you can't be progressive and be a traditional. Democrat. So what are your? Thoughts on that lay that out for US unpack that a little bit. How does it work for us? I think we define Progressive Democrat really broadly, we look for a set of shared values shared belief that everybody deserves access to affordable healthcare that everybody's sort of access to education that we need to fight for working families that we need to protect organized labor that we need to protect it and for the environment, and we can share those goals and disagree on the tactics that we need to accomplish them. But the only way we get to really implement those tactics or even have a starting place to decide a meme is to win elections. I. So, for us a Democrat or progressive in New York might look a little different than Democrat in Vienna right. But we gotta be willing to win everywhere to run everywhere on our set of shared values and we also know that for most people especially for local elections. Partisan identification is the way they make their voting decision they look at the ballot and they say, this one's a democrat. Cool. That's all I know about them. So for us, right really important to support people running under that party line knowing that that's the way the most voters make up their minds. It's so smart and it makes so much sense because every district of restate the. Issues are different and I think people forget that when we live in these big cities that when you look at some place, a state that isn't sort of a metropolitan city, you get such tunnel vision about what the issues are in the context of your life that you forget that it could be different in the context of someone else's life and especially because what we only work on local elections. So Library School Board, Water Board, University Board and Community College Boards and Yes State House and State Senate. The issues that you're focusing at these levels is often a little bit more but also a lot less partisan it how keeping water clean how are We getting trash picked up are we funding our roads and our schools? The tangible delivery of those issues makes it so that what it means to be a progressive on them are things like my favorite example here we work for the Coroner Candida in Jefferson County. Colorado which factor more than thirteen hundred counties they'll elect corners he was reading on a progressive platform. The thing that he wanted to ensure was that after death trans people were not being this gendered, which was something that the current coroner was doing, and that is a really important thing because the way that gender is recorded on death certificates affects crime statistics and homicide statistics and suicide statistics. All of which are really important especially as they relate to a community that is disproportionately represented in things like suicide homicide. So as you think about what is the progressive value look like an issue like a coroner's office? That's one of the ways in which you can show up and it was a really interesting way to see the way that our values can trade themselves into progressive policies and all kinds of offices
7 Business Lessons From Instagram Launching 'Reels'
"Super committed to your success online. We've worked with them to a special offer just remarking school listeners all you have to do is go to dream host dot com slash marking school to learn more and get your website online today. Welcome to another episode of Marketing School. I'm Eric Su and I'm Neil Patel and today we're GonNa talk about seven business lessons from instagram launching. Real's. So instagram as this recording there still a, there's this battle against Tiktok the even the US is battling Tiktok while trying to get in the cell and so facebook sees tiktok as a existential threat. So they launched their tiktok competitor called reels and we just WanNa talk about a couple of business lessons that we learned watching Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook, which owns instagram over the year. So I'll start with number one number one is you know don't be afraid to coffee I mean you know they copied stories from snapchat and other copying reels. Actually not illegal to do. So people actually think maybe it's in bad taste but some people will talk trash to meals. People talk trash to me saying Oh. You know we're copping copying copying but. Even. The biggest companies in the world they iterating on things that happened to be working well, and then they move on. Yeah number two is don't expect every launch a success sometimes facebook does launches and they do well and sometimes they don't do well. But the one thing that's for sure is persistent and they keep trying new things. So whenever you launch something new and it doesn't go well, don't get discouraged just keep at it keep tweaking, keep experimenting, keep testing and keep launching because some things will be a massive hit and some things will. Number three is around if you're going to launch something, you launch it with fanfare, and so they launched it with fanfare and they announced it across channels. But also what happens is, for example, when live launched or when stories launched, they favored the stories even even an instagram right now, our facebook when you go live, they still favor you because it's engaging people on the platform. You know if you're going to launch something, make sure that you are marketing correctly you're promoting where you can and you're making the most of the distribution that you have and face because ton of distribution across its channels. So that is number three. Number Four. When you're doing a launch, you need to end up creating buzz around it before you launch, and after if you just release something and you launch it and it's a soft launch, it doesn't do well when facebook does launches, they tried to create as much noise as possible. Another player to look at when it comes to launches including noise is apple. So falling either of them is tragic to create that buzz. When you create that buzz is much more likely to go off as a hidden, and then it's going to cause more sales, conversions usage whatever the metric you're optimize for. Number five if you think about it reels launched and there's this tiktok battle going on but keep in mind to mark Zuckerberg is a really good businessman he he's not look he he helped code facebook but at the end of the day, a lot of people respect for how good he is at at business and what he did was he went to Washington I talked about how Tiktok is national security threat. Who knows if it is it isn't but the fact that matters got the crossers on Tiktok. Now there's a lot more scrutiny and boom they come out with this deal's launch. And if you can't build it crushes, that would be number six. So technically, I would say if you can't build the crush it or buy it. So if Mark Zuckerberg see something that's blowing up talk facebook is an atrocity notre by if they can't buy, they try to copy it everywhere if they can't copy it, they tried to crush just like that stop hey tiktok should end up being banned it's a really smart strategy. The other thing that you'll notice that they end up doing too is if they're going against competitor just copy. The featured on Instagram, the copy that feature on Instagram facebook what's up the everywhere? So you're much more likely to use their ecosystem versus someone else and is a very clever approach to keep people there versus going to the competition. Yeah. Number seven similar to what Neil said a little earlier. But you know if you've got a if you create something, you not only have to kill your babies if they don't work but you have to kill them pretty quickly and so face because launch a lot of different things previously that didn't work out. And they were like, they would come out and then you would see him just disappeared really quickly. Right. So you have to be willing to be unemotional just because you put in a lot of engineering resource a low costs around it and it you did all this marketing fanfare it it doesn't mean that it should stay around because you put know no sunk cost, right that's fallacy, and so you
Ice Cube defends working with Trump campaign on 'Platinum Plan' for Black Americans
"Caught on politicians to sign his contract with Black America and laid out 13 areas for improvement related to police report on prison reform, they lending so much more The President's administration actually absorb some of this into the White House is platinum Plan with ice cubes. Help sell trumps platinum plan aims to increase access to capital and black communities by always 500 billion, creating 500,000 black owned businesses and three million new jobs for the black community. That strength, strengthening immigration policies, immigration and policy policies. There's a lot of good things. Okay, well, I have to give us back our information for you. Ice Cube gave the Trump campaign permission to tell the world that they worked together on this that they were working together. Then the world when they found out Twitter got mad and just trashed Ice Cube. Bring old lyrics. Old tweets old this old that in like, how are you dealing this? You're a horrible person. You're betraying the black community. It isn't this and this. And ask. You actually wanted to make it clear, he said. He asked both parties to work with him. OK, Democrats said. Let's talk about this after the election. However, the Republicans said, Let's talk about this now and do something now. Okay, so you gonna go play a little bit of what else he had to say. And this is him talking about the CW baby that you just mentioned in game is to get a candidate to adopt this plan because it's needed for black America. You know, we are. Got our favorite candidate that we wanna win, but that they as we need just done no more time to talk. No more promises. That's the endgame. Okay, so that's him trying to, you know, Look, he's got a guy here who's instead of talking about everything that's wrong. He's trying to make something happen. He's trying to put something on paper and say, Will you sign this? Will you enact this? Will you make this happen? And yeah, sometimes. Unfortunately, that means you got to work with people that maybe you used to consider the enemy. Because maybe they're the ones in charge and I feel bad for Ice Cube. You mentioned the old lyrics about people bringing up the song where, he said, I'll never have dinner with the president. I'll never have dinner with the president and the tweet that he tweeted in. 26 team says I will never effing support Donald Trump. My thing is and I'm just going to be on the outside of here. My biggest, I guess. Quote unquote Idol Air quotes is Michael Jordan and Michael Jordan came on TV tomorrow and I'm voting for this one. It would not change if you don't like what I see Cuba's saying, if you do like what I see, he was saying I shouldn't affect like there's unless he tells you. Hey, good. By the way, I found out from Trump that he has a cure for cancer and didn't give it to you If you vote. Yeah, I think the difference is Michael Jordan never came out and said, I will never support Donald Trump. Has there been anything in your life that you said I'll never do when you've done may be speaking out abroad. Hey, I'm never going to try that restaurant. I'm never goingto listen to this type of musical asparagus. You don't like people just like just if that's what he wants to do, let do it. Yeah, but But people are calling him a
Why You Should Be Willing To Experiment
"Anyway. So I've been thinking about this. I've had questions the last couple of podcasts I have been answering different ones and it's always interesting to me when I can kind of make the stuff. FIT under one thing like two weeks ago was basically the answer to every single question that I answered was five minute pickup. There was more to it than that but I like on a lot of bag on that podcast anyway, and then last week was. Something that I can't think of in this exact moment while I'm talking to you know it was what was it? Whatever it was. It was all basically around. A theme like there were quite a few different questions that could be grouped under that theme. And I was thinking. This was kind of going to be a okay. I'll just cover the last of the questions there which I didn't guarantee. I was going to cover all the questions, but it just worked out pretty well. And Just. Today I was thinking about something in my own life i. want you know that kind of is applies to all of those questions pretty much that I was GonNa talk about my next podcast. So we're talking about experimenting like the whole concept of experimenting I think sometimes for those of us who? Have spent a lot of our lives feeling inept at this homemaking thing who have felt unqualified or bewildered by or just overall overwhelmed and not confident in. What to do to actually keep our houses under control I think that we don't always fill out of freedom. In that way because like I I, it's just the same thing as I explained to my kids I'm like you. Once you get something down like let's say you get. You get you know my daughter's Andrea team now and she works on things and Oh, I heard y'all I just have to say it has been so much fun to I mean I'm telling you just since she tried out in May. When she was trying to do it and she was, you know she made it obviously. So she did great. But the improvement that just comes from her re just knowing more like she knows more and when you know more than you have the freedom to put a little pizzazz on you know we're talking about dance there but it's really the same thing for everything like once you. have some skills down what know what to do. Then you feel more confident when you feel more confident, you're like, oh I, can try this can try that. But for those of us who have lived our lives not feeling confident in this area sometimes we're scared to experiment. We're like, please just tell me what to do, which is the beauty of something like. You know the the twenty eight days to hope for your home, which is included in my book how to manage your home without losing your mind you know those twenty eight days of building four basic habits I mean I talk through every single day like you spend seven days. Getting a new habit down and we go through all of the weird things that are going to go through your brain and all that kind of stuff and like you know I hear all the time from people who say it helps me so much to know. When I don't know what to do do the dishes. Or War with the decluttering process from decluttering at the speed of life you know I look at a space that's overwhelming. I know to just focus on the trash trash is step one. Okay. So all of those things are very helpful because they know what to do. Okay. But for those of us who are desperate for that and who that is so incredibly helpful for you know there are people out there who like. You have to tie yourself to to the Tesha like who has to tell themselves. Like they just don't even understand. That some of us have to talk ourselves through that. Okay. Because those things are more natural or more obvious maybe or more clear whatever two other people anyway. But sometimes, those of us feel like we're just hanging on with like please just tell the next step we don't feel the freedom to experiment. Well, some of these questions get into some things where it's like. Well, you really do this different ways. So I went to give you the freedom to experiment. So my example you know I'm working on my next book who knows when it's going to be done. Because it's really hard for me right now 'cause anyway. So not like hard something awful is going on. I'm just really struggling. Okay with it. Anyway. I when I wrote my second book I think I did a podcast on breaking down a huge project and all that and. When I wrote my second book it was on a really really tight deadline. And part of my issue right now is they don't have a deadline which whatever because it's not actually under contract or anything yet but I had this deadline and I had to get it done and I really reaped the benefits of having written a book before

Washington, DC - Far-right plotters 'discussed kidnapping Virginia governor Ralph Northam'

In testimony today, an FBI agent detailed an alleged plot To kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, and we're learning that anti government paramilitary groups reportedly also considered Ralph Northam as a target. Now his office has just released a statement that says the FBI alerted key members of the governor's security team about the threat, but that because of security protocols, neither the governor nor other members of his staff were informed about it. The statement goes on to say at no time was the governor or his family in any danger, and that enhanced security protocols have been in place and will remain. The FBI did not brief Governor Northam about any potential threat, according to a state official not authorized to speak publicly. Reuters Reporter On The Rise Of Single-Use Plastic During The Pandemic
"Face Shields takeout food containers bubble wrap for online orders. Plastic bags from grocery deliveries think about how much people around the world are relying on mountains of plastic to get through this pandemic we'll have that plastic is not recyclable, and even if it were the demand for recycled plastic is down plastic is made from petrochemicals and the price of oil is so low that the price of brand new plastic known as Virgin Plastic is low to Reuters investigative reporter Joe. Brock has been connecting the dots in this other pandemic, this plastic pandemic and he joins us now. Welcome. So paint us a picture here. What was the trend for single use plastics before the coronavirus pandemic? Before the pandemic, the mom single, you slapstick woods with going out but particularly the case in developing countries where you've got a rising middle class, the condemn any exacerbated that trend and winning your investigation found was that big oil companies are hoping for a continually realising demand for new plastic, which is also made from fossil fuel. So they see that as a growth opportunity for their industry, right? That's correct. You're seeing oil and gas companies struggling. During the pandemic is your price has has dropped but as a longer term trend as we move towards electric vehicles greener energy. That is an abundance of cheap oil and gas, and that needs to go somewhere for these companies to remain successful and one of the key growth areas is me plastic for developing economies and that's what we're seeing huge amounts of investments, hundreds of billions of dollars in new petrochemicals, plants as they try and take advantage of that are these same companies that are investing in producing more new plastic. Are they also investing in recycling efforts? So these companies absolutely say that they take the waste crisis extremely seriously and they won't be part of the solution. What investigation was intended to do was to interrogate that claim I'm what we found was the investments they're making in recycling a vague and those ones that could be calculated or fraction of the money that they're spending on expanding plastic production. So the situation you have is you're trying to upper floor with a hand towel while the bosses Agra flying. Then instead of tying the topples, you start increasing the pressure. Okay we'll your investigation also found that the price of new plastic had dropped significantly during this pandemic as a result of these cheaper oil prices. So what does that mean overall for the business of recycling business being catastrophic for some smaller recycling firms because covid has led to a flawed using lease plastic but dropped the price at new plastic. So it's very difficult for those companies to compete and ready operating on extremely find margins. I mean, we should remind everyone that recycling was never going to be the solution to all the excess plastic trash produced worldwide right? Exactly. I think what's important for people to understand is that only a fraction of plastic gets recycled also most bostick cannot be recycled since nineteen fifty, six point three, billion tons of plastic waste being produced ninety one percent of has not been recycled. So can I just ask you then what do you think is the answer taller this Recycling, shutting the caught, the answer, a huge amount of investment needs to go into that from governments from consumer goods, companies to the plastic producers themselves. But is another elephant in the room here, which is we need to stop producing so much single use plastic on ultimately what it comes down to is profit margins versus the good of the planet climate on some of the poorest communities in the world right. That is reporter Joe Brock from Reuters. Thank you very much for joining us today. It's been a
Joshua A. Rauch was arrested Saturday and charged with second degree arson in Houston
"A collaboration of Houston police and the Fire Department's arson bureau has led to an arrest of a suspect for a string of fires in the greater heights area. In the past week or so. 27 year old Joshua Roaches charged with seven counts of second degree arson and the fire marshal says that there could be more cases one neighbour tells or TV partner channel to. He can't figure out the motive. It's just why I think is the biggest like why would you do this to someone? Those fires included vehicles, trash cans and sheds
Slowing Down and Looking Around With Julie Zickefoose
"I called you up because they want your expert advice on how to slow down and look around like kind of where to begin because you really seem to have a practice. Of connecting to natures tell us a little bit about you in that. Well, it really really helps to have a dog with a bladder that has to be let out every morning. Because I think a lot of know this the dog brings out her inner child it it it it forces us to go. Oh, well, I'll just take a long walk with the dog and that's a wonderful excuse to get out each and every morning you know without fail because this is an imperative and so I turned that into a morning meditation that can sometimes go four hours or more and you know that sounds like a a sort of a rich Victorian lady way to live I assure you anything but that but I don't have an office that have to go to. My Orchard and Meadow, is my office and once I realized that my life took a decided turn toward the wonderful. And you know I I realized that that observing things and sharing what I see is really my job on one of those people out there who needs to do this and share. So Tell us where you are. I am in Southeast Ohio in the Appalachian Foothold Foothills of Ohio, about twenty miles northeast of Marietta in the extreme southeast corner of the state and So this is a very rolling heavily wooded highly diverse area It's much more akin geographically to West Virginia than it is to what most people think of as flat plains Cornfield Ohio okay. So here we are and when this is airing its October and and we've been through, we will have been through most of the migration Let's talk about the recent migration of the ongoing migration who's been visiting what have you been able to say hello to along the way the snow it's been it's been so incredible. It was very late released September came and went without a bird and I was worried I didn't have my normal pulse of juvenile birds coming through in mid July and I thought Oh and then you know mid to late September third week of September came around and own. My goodness it's like the floodgates opened. So I was vastly reassured the birds had managed despite the incredibly cruel spring very, very low temperatures in late May birds managed to pull off some young that they did it later than they normally do. So these birds were not ready to fly until probably just about now. So they're pouring through and I think the the main stars this year for me have been the bay breasted warblers everywhere Blackpoll warblers as well. I get lots of Tennessee's as many people do I sometimes think Tennessee warbler must be one of the most abundant birds on the planet. Go down to Costa, Rica. You see them in the coffee plantations you see them in Guatemala on the mountain tops they're just all over the place. Magnolia warblers, chestnut sided warblers it's just been. So beautiful say that bureaus are diverse We've had a blue headed. Red. eyed. White eyed and Philadelphia here. So that's always a thrill. Oddly I. Get Philadelphia various but not warbling bureaus. And, I only get Philadelphia bureaus in the fall had one spring record in twenty eight years. The same is true of Cape. May. Warbler who are are most common migrants get gobs of them in the fall there just you know I never use the word trash bird but some burgers do I've got gobs of of Cape May warblers, but I get very few in the spring. So that tells me that migration routes. By season and probably by sex of the bird and it's it's just it's also complex and fascinating and keeping notes is the whole point well, and that's what you just said you said record you referred to record you and and I I my neighbor up the hill she leads birds as well and she texted me I don't know a week or two ago me with mid-september let's say and she said Oh. I. Still have a lot of you know hunting hummingbirds, just the Ruby throated and asthma northeast here and and and she said, you know I. Don't usually get them after this week I. Wonder if they'll still be here next week and so she keeps records right lesser quickly us right and so I quickly went to my Uber Dot Org, my cornell lab of ornithology database. You know my member account there and check and I was like and I texted her right back and I said October fourth two thousand sixteen was the latest sighting of the Hummingbird I ever had. To move. Elo. And I just that's it. Comforts me yes now yes. Says new IDI, right? Yes. Tying yourself into the phonology of the season being aware of what's normal and what's expected in a certain week is such a beautiful sing and it's the old way. It's how people lived. You Know Oh. Will it's about time for the be birds to come back in you know now. But but we've gotten away from that but but it's right within everyone's reach to just write it down on your computer on your phone in bird on paper like I do write it down and then have something you can comb through and see you know what your records look like it's it's a great great thing to do in ties right in and then the the the the Nice segue you get there is journaling. If. You're gonNA write down the dates. You see something right about them and and writing helps you process everything you see and everything you experience and then you have a record.
Protesters erupt in Kyrgyzstan after parliamentary election
"For the parliamentary election to be annulled because of fears of vote rigging. Of broken into parliament, trashed the offices and apparently thrown an awful lot of paperwork out sort of falls like snow. It's lying all over the place in front of the parliament building. Parts of the building also appeared beyond fire in video circulating flashes come amid allegations of vote rigging in last Sunday's election, directed against President Surround by Gin Beach golf. On DH following the vote, only four parties out of 16 past the 7% threshold for entry into parliament. Three of those parties have close ties to the president. That's the nub of the issue joining us now from the capital. Is Caroline Eden, who has written extensively on the area and is there in place for us now, Caroline. Thank you for joining us. I mean, it's funny seeing the pictures of the protesters basically pulling the railings back and forth and back and forth. I remember seeing almost identical pictures a few years ago, when the previous well it was a revolution. Is this a rerun of the same kind of thing? One of the Out of the tensions that are coming out in society Now, what was really interesting was how quickly this escalated. So it's the same square that you're seeing the city from the Ality Square in central Fish cake. The last two uprisings were in 2005 and 2010. I went along to the protests about four o'clock yesterday. After name on by eight o'clock, things have escalated dramatically. From the point of view. It was you felt it was time to leave. Did you? Did you mean Sometimes the atmosphere is described as a celebration? Was it uglier? So about 44 30. I was there, and I should have taken some video footage on DH watching people waving flags and making speeches on it was sort of tense, but it was okay. Barry is the starting scallop around allergies for eyes watching my phone on and I could see some people were tweeting about rightfully starting to stifle. About a block away, and I thought it's probably a good time to leave. It's a brilliantly sky. Lovely Autumn day, I walked back to my apartment about 10 minutes away from the main square. Andi and this this sort of carried on and on and on. And now the president has urged the opponents to stop public protests. This from the BBC team the moment but he's also said I've ordered security forces not to use firearms. What happens now? The demands of fairly clear they want a rerun of the election. Some politicians as I understand it. Saying Yes, we will rerun the elections. But there's also reports again from the BBC of demonstrations in support of the president elsewhere. So are we seeing once again the split in Kyrgyzstan demographics, the split in society coming to the fore. It's definitely a split, and there are protests and rallies happening in other cities around the country. There is nobody in power at the moment. There's sort of no interim nothing in the Internet. Nothing Forthcoming. We don't really know what's going to happen, but I think what was shocking last night was how quickly things escalated how violent it was so by eight o'clock the sky was flashing on and it was a sort of sound of stun grenades and tear gas on DH. Dumpsters on a sort of street behind me was still smoldering. Eight o'clock this morning. There was probably no live ammunition. But I saw cartridges this morning that a friend of mine Believe probably had metallic bull projects. Alden and the police were using It was extremely violent, and it went on all night. It sort of only calm down about 5 30 this morning, Things went bit quieter, but you know, men running through the streets of patterns. Very, very wild. Very quick, Right. Do the opposition have a figurehead. I mean, there's the call, for example, to release Political prisoners is not quite clear from the reports that we've been seeing here about whether anyone has been let out of jail. But there are people who regarded as political prisoners at the previous president is still sort of in play as a figurehead as well. Does the opposition have a demand beyond the rerun of the election or a figurehead that it can coalesce around? I think it's really unclear at the moment. I mean, what was what was crazy last night was not only that the White House, the presidential building was very contention. Storm disease. He mentioned it start in parks but replace those protesters inside. Thie imprisoned former president Almazbek Survive was also sort of freed. So I think everybody's from the national security unit size and everybody's going to be wondering what's going to happen with him, But it's sort of very uncertain at the moment and will be very interesting to see what happens. In the next 24 48 hours here. The city itself is sort of shuttered, where I am really in the censor people this morning. It very tired and anxious in the past year were littered with These empty cartridges on DH. I think there's just a lot of confusion. Eyes very, very complicated. The political situation here, Caroline listen many, many thanks indeed. Do stay safe as well.

"They don't really they're sick of cleaning up trash because look we need to make our revenue and if there's constantly trash on our bed is how are we supposed to do that? Right? So that that's what's going on. But anyways, we're going to move over California now and California has decided to pass a new executive order in which they want to get rid of the sale of gas. Powered cars by the year 2035 official statement released today from the governor's office Governor Gavin Newsom obviously is the governor said that we need a more clean energy. We need to stop polluting. The environment pollution is not good and true kind of, you know clarify this this is not just Banning gas powered cars in general. This is Banning the sales of them starting in twenty thirty five pounds. So you you can still have them you just can't sell anymore. And so he said again Newsome said this and I quote not everybody is going to join hands on this but one thing I know this is a trend line that will become a headline across the rest of the world. We are not just going to be the back of the bus. We are going to be leading. Once again, we're going to be driving its accelerated change so often do some a set of disorders necessary as transportation is responsible for over half of the carbon emissions inside of California. And this is this is debated if is a coach True, but I'm just trying to push this environmental agenda in by 2035. He's trying to enforce this and these carbon emissions have been a real issue among the voter base in California. So this is something that's likely going to be popular of getting rid of gas sale cars, but this is not stop the Trump Administration and the Republican party in general from could not a little bit of criticism on Governors. They said that you thought just stopped a private business or selling cars itself the job of government to intervene. How dare the government step is dirty. Boot inside of my business. Stop us from selling cars, which are my cars to sell new some you are infringing on my rights. And so they said that they also said it's not going to make much of a difference the driver stopping you're not banded gas cars. Anyways, you're just ban a Salesman by 23% What's that going to do? People are still going to be using gas cars and what they'll do is just refurbish them. If you really insist on just shutting shutting it down, you know, people just come to your house and build it for you if they need to like there's a game. Rolls around this Republican party saying is this really necessary. In fact, the Trump Administration is opened up a lawsuit against Governor Newsome to try to counter this but we'll see where that goes most federal law suits and State Governor suing president which happens a lot in President Trump's doing State Governors usually doesn't doesn't get anywhere a bunch of politicking. Yeah a lot of politicking. But anyways, this is a little bit less politics. In fact, this is a little bit of humorous story cuz we're going to move over to Australia and New Zealand humorous to my nationalistic New Zealand friends. Yes, it's quite expensive according to the flag person that will get you in a second. But anyways, yeah and the Australian state of South Wales, which is where the city of Sydney is located, you know, the famous Sydney the beautiful city in Australia the Opera House house Bridge. Yeah, it's all there in Sydney. They decided that they want to make a mistake and which this is regarding this mistake is regarding the flag of New Zealand. So what's wrong with the flag? Well, it's designed was a little dog..

"A lot of tension in Europe laugh is yelling at Cypress a lot of problems with immigration the usual problems for Europeans and their tiny countries. Unlike the United States giant. Yeah it is. Anyways, we're gonna talk about trash now cuz I know yourself off I'm kidding. I feel really bad now. It's okay. I'm sorry because massive amounts of trash. I'm not just me have rolled up on the shores of Honduras in a tourist city of Obama. So what is Obama? Why don't we talk about Ammo affirmative action was a sparkling Mediterranean City with that crystal clear blue water. So if you people are on the other side of the ocean in Europe and Asia Africa, you guys don't know the Caribbean like us Americans do it's the only place that a lot of Americans God. We know it for its sparkling beautiful Waters beautiful as far the eye can see with see right whites. And yeah, it's it's supposed to be beautiful city and there's trash everywhere and where did this trash come from? Guatemala came from Guatemala this trash flowed to Honduras from Guatemala, which has anger the authorities local authorities and Hunters wonder why is there a bunch of try? Like they wake up the next day. There's a bunch of trash just sitting here on the shores of omoa. Are you kidding me Josh? What were you doing in Guatemala? But I just I'm sorry no more so cold here. So yep. Official statement from the environment Ministry and Honduras release will this statement regarding the trash? They said quote we are committed to clearing our beaches and keeping them clean. But today we are demanding that authorities in Tegucigalpa. And I'm going to stop Google for a minute two examples the capital of Honduras and consume quo take strong actions actions to find a permanent solution to this problem this wave of trash which came from the mud bath River really surprised Us in even though it caused problems. It has not stopped our activities. So especially in the coronavirus pandemic tourism is the industry's kind of struggling in general. And so the touring package are there they don't like they let's go in the water but there's a bunch of trash. It's they don't find it comfortable. They're paying for this vacation. Why would I want to sit and trash so you're not seeing people going to a lower right. Now. This is really saying this is just cause a lot of it. Not a lot of tensions Honduras. The central government is not directly angry at Guatemala. I mean, they're not like we're going to declare war on you over your trash. But there's just kind of annoyed. They're like, why you gotta clean up? Okay, dude, it's my neighbor leaves their trash on my yard. I'm kind of invade though. Yeah, baby to just wipe them how long it's so yeah, the Guatemalan Authority says that the cause of this was Heavy Rain from the river that I said earlier The Mont agua River. Hope I'm pronouncing that right but Faith at River. They said it flooded and then the trash has carried over to the shores of all MOA was not our fault. It's the rain man. It's the rain is what my neighbor said. Yeah and so odd, that's really interesting because the environmental environmental Ministry and Honduras is just quite annoyed by this..

I know rockstars did one on Jayjay was in it. Okay Great Jovi right right. He was on Fox and did one. Man I'm tired of this from home shit like you know well again it's They just won't I don't know why they don't take a hiatus or whatever It's just not really working. But they they just really need to keep their their face out there in their show going. I mean it's it's time for them to Kinda take a little bit of a break. You cancel you probably wouldn't get those advertising dollars. So maybe maybe that's what it is. Speaking of which ticketmaster just decided to pull out their their penis and bone everyone yesterday. How they're not giving refunds. So what everybody's doing with all these tickets in events that are moved because all of them removed and or postponed unless they are outright canceled. Ticketmaster is saying. Hey Man we can't refund you write. The promoter of the event has to refund you and then go through us or whatever and they just straight up changed the language on their website. Which surprised you just. You can't be sued for because ticketmaster typically ensures that type of shit and it say by moving all of this stuff you'd think like coachella right. Yeah that's a big ticket. That's five hundred for Gen pop and a grand for VIP there. They've moved it Sou- October and you know what if you can't go because typically that takes place during spring break for kids and all that Shit right. Yeah now. It's an October. So that's the most of the things is like we got baby sitters. We got plane tickets hotels for this time. W- I mean you can give us. I don't know you can honor the ticket Benegas. They could sell them. I don't know fucking over. A lot of people here rains One would think ticketmaster has the insurance for that. I guess they don't because they're saying no they've lost upwards of lake six point eight billion dollars or something like that. So they're saying no so if you can make the postponement too bad. Sell the tickets on your own. Right faces right. Which is crazy is if I needed one. More reason. Hate ticketmaster shirt. They have a monopoly tickets with them. I wish man anyways anymore. Except for a stub hub and all these people were but those are resells so directly you can hardly even get a ticket directly from ticketmaster anymore. No dude the big sold out in like four minutes and you get like a spinning wheel. Look we've had benny the ticket guru on. He's under number of sports all the time he was telling us he was like dude. They fucking hold back like thirty percent of their tickets because they have a resell like stubhub tickets. Now it's owned by ticketmaster and they're reselling tickets for sold out events and it's like an an thirty percent of these tickets and then just reselling them at a higher price is yeah and make more money. Yeah fucking things monopoly. Ticketmaster should be brought down. I'm surprised no one has come along to try to challenge a ticketmaster but I guess you'd have to go out to all these venues and try to secure it. This one is one of those ones that the government should step in on and say. Hey man this is a monopoly they tried to with. At and T. With the last merger with comcast where they stepped in there were like no. We can't allow you to buy this because you own time Warner and all this other shit Somebody should do something about ticketmaster. This fall in places in abomination to him. She's Christ yeah. Just turn into a ticket bender where they're just selling to all the other places like I remember back in the day Pearl Jam trying to do it on their own. Still tickets to their website. Can't do it because you don't have that type of power and that's look that's that's too much man right So I feel terrible people because look some of these events like the masters do you save up forever to go to the masters or were Coachella. There's a lot of these events are once in a lifetime. Now it's like an not away you probably out of a job when this is all said and done then remember those tickets vacation in that thing you plan for now. We're not gonNA give you your money back on campus. Find a way to go back to some kind of job. You can't be asking for time off you can tell your boss. It's Masters Week in November. May actually have these tickets so for the masters we cool. Can I just take a week off November Scott this job and I'm really happy to have it thinks but piece that's terrible Ma'am Again that the government should step in do something about this bullshits. Lucian no taint japes. Okay Buddy I'm gonNA CUOMO now. Okay on ticketmaster. You can do that and you do know so you don't have a Cuomo problem because even me like you know. I love Coachella Coachella. You know it's a part of me I'm probably a part of it right. It's a fabric share genes. Ooh aware it's sleeve right right right. Don't WanNa go in November. I don't WanNa go in October. No just don't like there's too much of the cool shit going on you won't be. Nfl College football. Don't want to go to coach. I don't WanNa miss that. You know no you won't be. I liked it in. The springs came in so I might be other jobs. You won't be going. I might be out there. Were no cool coca. Coca-cola WANNA miss the game so I'm not GonNa go but man I'd be so pissed off if I bought all that Shit And then boom I tell you what though if you're out there and you have a job and you've been able to to maintain through this bullshit and you want to go you'll be able to get tickets for like eight dollars in a really nice hotel room for for forty eight dollars. I'm sure so. Have yourself a time? Have yourself a merry little Christmas and Christmas time now? That's a Christmas gift. It's going to be October. October came an Christmases couple months away. Playing real fast and loose with I knew in a real broad getting in time but anyway that's okay so look now's your time if you're out there and you wanna go see one of these big events because weights goateed. Go to Ebay. You'RE GONNA be rocking and rolling on Ebay Jay Fun show today. Sips Fun since Brooke. I'll be calling you. Yeah we don't have to all be so I'm not GonNa go Cuomo on anybody. No no one's been super cool so whatever I want I want to. What do you think the magnetic lenses or the US? Keep those in enough to keep them for today but unclear. Okay undecided got it. Were the easier to put on your normal. Yeah Yeah Yeah okay cool because you literally just stick them on you just pop them in like suck to him and what is the what does the magnet push? Stay on Saturday. You take that off when you go to bed You saw me taking it off with the little q tip thing. That's the laws that would that is. It's a little bit more hardcore than a liner. But you know doing what I can't have to put on makeup every single fucking day and it's not good for your face is so you know dude. I'm trying to like find different ways to not ruined my self everything about getting tattoo. Makeup on your whole head. I've seen it. I don't think it's there yet. I don't think I don't think it's too level that I'm ready jumping. Yeah Yeah Yeah if when they can get a real natural shading and like A pigments that don't have that much red in them. I'm all in. Yeah Yeah I go in and get some eyebrows waxed choice here church just twice a year little strip in the middle over the top seeds right. Uh-huh keeps shit somewhat in control because a couple of forest fires up above a couple of smokybear inventors. Yeah enters the Eyebrow there and I talked to two homegirl. She's probably in her sixties. Sixty two and She goes She goes you know. I'm glad I don't have to do this anymore. I was like Oh why not so I get tattooed on. Yeah I was like Shit is a thing. "What happens but he just unloaded on CNN? And then the whole scene in general which what. They're saying unbelievably rare because he's the he's the superstar they're now like I feel. I would have said Anderson Cooper. I want to say a coops right share. But he's gotten so fucking boring an old manish. I feel like this was Cuomo's time but he was taking over. He's a Jack Dude. Good looking dude. His brothers the fuck governor of New York. He's getting a lot of screen time. This was this was. This is Komo time Sharon CUOMO sexual time. Cuomo Exxon's yeah croissants for for the Democrats and I was really really shocked that he came out and went just full bone against what his life is. So they're saying he had sort of minor existential crisis on era broke down because of the corona virus where he was just like kind of forced him to re examine his life right. That's what people were speculating. I don't know and I get it buddy so I'm going to read this word for word what he said but I mean he essentially blasted. Cnn blasted try blast. Everybody to be honest with you. He said I don't want to spend my time doing things that I don't think are valuable enough to me personally. I don't value indulging rationality and hyper partisanship. We've said this forever on the show like that's all that is CNN and Fox. There is no one is better than the. I clearly hates CNN. Just because of their their lower thirds fucking crayons and all that bullshit that they're constantly prepping. It's a fear monger network boxes a little better but not much. Let's face it right. Everybody's doing this. For Ratings. Everybody has picked aside. And he's tired of it so he says he actually did say that his battle with Krona viruses made him rethink his values and questioned his position as a public figure. He said I don't like what I do professionally. I don't think it's worth my time. And then he launches into this the story about this loser biker who he calls who confronted him on Easter Sunday outside of his Southampton home with his family must go right right I. I don't know how the loser biker got onto the island or exactly jackass loser. Fat Tire biker rights and got in his face despite him being diagnosed with a chronic virus again. I think if you pulled most Americans individually they just don't really care I walked into a business today and none of those mother fuckers were mask. It's not essential service and it was business as usual eight people. Nobody looked any any weird than a normal day which I enjoyed. But he said I don't want some jackass loser. Fat Tire biker. Fat Tire means. Yeah maybe around the waist around the waist or he was like the beer was he beat tiger. I don't know with the fat tire. could be could be one of those beach cruisers on fat. Yeah Yeah I know. You're talking about this big tires. Fat Tire biker. Being able to pull over and get my space and talk bullshit to me. I don't WanNa hear it. He says he wished he could acted like a regular joe and told the biker to go to hell that matters to me more than making millions of dollars a year. Because I've saved my money and I don't need it anymore. I want to be able to tell people to go to hell to shut your mouth. I'd do that for a living me being able to tell you to shut the fuck up and do things the way that other people do to each other as what's most valuable to me and He said look man. These things include trafficking things that I think are ridiculous again. We've said this a million times on the show your CNN in particular is constantly spinning a narrative and it goes from cycle to cycle to cycle. It wasn't peach mint right first of all was Russia gate that went on for close to three years and then it was impeachment. All impeachment on impeachment right. The Corona virus was going on in January. All of that was here. They decided not to report on it because they wanted to impeach the president. Meanwhile trump puts the travel bannon. Nobody's coming over from China. He's a racist Zima. Phob buck all this shit. Still no coverage what the corona virus actually is or what. It's about to do nothing because they're focused on the impeachment thing so I understand what he's saying here with this and he goes on to say the things that include talking Democrats about things that I don't really believe they mean which none of them don't but you have to spend this narrative in order to try to win an election which I think is unwinnable at this point. Just me personally And we'll get to that in a second But he also says he wants to stop the president we all know is full of Shit by design so we didn't spare either side here in this and he says look man the fact that he has to tolerate other people's opinions of him. It's not worth his time anymore. He says I don't think it's worth it to me because I don't mean enough. I don't think I matter enough. I don't think I can really change anything. So then what am I really doing at CNN? Mrs I'm basically being perceived as a successful guy in the system that I don't value I'm seen as as good at being on TV and advocating different positions but I don't know if I value those things certainly not as much as I value being able to live my life on my own terms but here I am in an almost powerless position against this asked. Because I'm a celebrity. And he's allowed to say whatever he wants to me. I e the biker and I have to take it because he's going to call the New York Post and lie about something and then I'm going to have to fuck and deal with his shits. I don't have to tolerate people's opinion about me because I'm a public figure. I don't want to do that and I don't think it's worth my time. So where does he go from? Here is the question does he not on CNN? Any we'll find out today. This happened yesterday. That happened yesterday. Who's going to show up for work today? Someone is going to. It's worth noting as well. He actually did exactly what he was talking about doing to someone in a long island bar a long time ago so they had this guy in the bar called him freight Oh and he said I will fucking ruin your shit. I will fucking throw you down these stairs like a little fucking punk and CNN. Put out a statement that said they completely support him really. That's it he was not. I didn't hear that. Actually the bar. Totally understand yeah but like you know for him to say that and like figure like that. Cnn could very easily as like. He's saying he can't do this kind of thing Just playing devil's advocate a little bit. Cnn could definitely be like. We don't condone this kind of language towards pushed him like he got in a fight with this guy. If you see the video it comes out. That like he was definitely in the right but as a network. Cnn could have definitely been like these are not the views of us like we don't. They completely backed him and completely supported him. Sure Hey Jamie pulled a picture of Chris. Cuomo flexing been Chris cuomo flexing on Google and but it will see that. He's a Jack Dude. So in that confrontation. You're you're talking about yes. He could have beat that guy's ass. He's on some clean hgh that the dudes in shape and I I would lead to beat the fuck out of that guy in the bar and not for nothing. It's freight Oh that fucking whore. I mean no I mean. It is very racist. It's a drug rates derogatory term for. He's an Italian Guy Cuomo now. He's an Italian guy calling him and he was saying that. That's a derogatory term problem with Italian. Guys which is like we know you're Italian. I don't have any problem with that whatsoever but I think there was more things that he said he kinda like added Fredo to just like talking to him. Basically like I said I mean. It's it's weird that he saying this now when in fact like if if this had come out you know I guess it would be like no I keep doing. I think. Honestly why he's saying it now is where are you at Jamie there? It is CUOMO CUOMO FLEXING DUDE. Cuomo sexual. He's got he's got the rainbow shirt onto. Wow sure which is nice. I think he's here's my honest opinion about this. I think probably off air. He's a pretty genuine dude It's clearly a Smart Guy. And he really is the superstar of that network. I think there has to come to a point in all of this shit where you do ask yourself. Are we doing more harm than good right? The one of the most important things to me or the people ask me all the time. It's like why do you love doing podcasts? Everyday you say and do whatever I want every day. It's my own opinions in their true. I'm not. I'm not pushing a narrative because I have to. I'm not being paid by anybody to say anything one way or another so I can come on air and say whatever I want right if Chris. Cuomo has his own show on Sirius Xm. I'm sure he can do the Goddamn same. And he could come on and have a podcast and it'd be just as big at CNN look CNN is rolling out the fucking truck for him so he's making millions of dollars there. It'd be a slight decrease in salary for a couple of years but I think he'd be able to get that back up especially with the name that he's garnered during all of this shit's he's probably looking for a way out. Now it's like God damn it man the way. This is heading right Especially today today. Obama's going to come on TV. I think at two o'clock and endorse Biden He didn't want to endorse he. Doesn't want to endorse by Nancy. What had done it before he stuck now. Because that's the fucking nominee and all this other shit now. Cuomo is going to have to go on air tonight and make a big deal about this when behind the scenes. Everyone knows that Obama doesn't doesn't want Biden as the nominee. But he's fucking choice. He was as vice president for eight years. He could have endorsed him any time over the last eight months in didn't now he's stuck in the house too and I think Cuomo just sitting there going man now I gotta go on air and fucking spin this tonight and then ride this story out for another few days jams corona virus in people's faces where clearly he's fine if he's out with his family in the Hamptons. It's like women saying all along. It's a three or four day illness for people like him who were of the age when you're healthy and you can beat this and he's like God damn it man now I gotta go on air and keep continuously lying about the corona virus on top of that like going into work every day saying shit or doing shit. You don't believe in at a certain point you're going to get sick of it. And Yeah if he said he's got millions of dollars saved away. What do you care at that point? You know what I'm saying like there's things that I want to do when I have millions of dollars stashed away and most of it involves my family where it's just like great. I want to do some more shit with my kids or whatever and it's like yeah man I'll cut back on things at that point. You know him so if he does have it and he's genuine about it like Shit blessing so we'll see what happens corona. Yeah we'll see what happens. I mean he. I like you're saying he can find a home in many different places if it's not anywhere to be honest with doing his Sirius. Xm show or move onto podcast or move over to Fox. I don't know what he was. I think he'll go to Fox. It's the same thing I mean he's going to be You know he's going to be forced to push a narrative that is bright gonna buy that shit either man like it's probably down the Middle Type. A guy probably pretty reasonable and You know it is what it is but Look if he issues an apology and comes back see I will be. That would be rough for him. Why would he do that? I don't know I don't know. Why would he do that? I mean that sounded like the end for him right a little bit. I don't think people would buy it now. It's like Oh sorry I lost my mind. We'll see I think he will to be honest with you. I think you'll just kinda breathe it over and move on find tonight. I'll pop on tonight. I know yeah Breaking news by the way Hang Steinbrenner the Kohner the Yankees just died sixty three years old. Yeesh the virus the sickness. No No Says it was after a long illness? That is not cove related That was George Steinbrenner kid and I remember when he took over but circa Yemen. Sixty-three Shit. I didn't hear he was sick at all to be honest with you know.

During this writing the new Saint James St James Book sure. That is getting real. Close thanksgiving Thanksgiving Kids. So hold on. Dick's wow Saint James. St James should be background. Thanksgiving I come into the bedroom last night. You've got netflix. Now ran out of content on Netflix went to HBO. Nada went to showtime nothing zero. Hulu Ma Ma had to go to the PBS APP. That I have. That's the thing yes. Pbs has their own APP. Yes and they actually don't say with their crazy. Pbs style stuff that's like Oh this is. Pbs They actually have some really good stuff. Like Anthony. Bourdain had a lot of stuff on there They have like breaking bread. They have taste makers from Austin. They have some really good. It's public service. Pbs Public Broadcasting System Broadcast System. So it's like from all over you know there's good and bad there is so anyways I got to the end of my content Q. And now and so. Last night I decided to watch. Benjamin Franklin's bones Is that the name of the show or is that. What's the what's the name of the book of the bones? That's so it's called it's called. Benjamin Franklin's bone yep great and I said Sir about someone else's and I said yes thank you right so once I finally got into it. It's basically in the basement of his place that he lived for many years was they found the skeletons of over. Like fifteen bodies great. Yeah and so. They found him in ninety eight and carbon dated them to around the time that he lived swell But we all know Benjamin Franklin is was he murdering Bussey who is murdering down there because we all know he was different France so there was like a baby. There was a lady there was like look. Listen I just said. Benjamin Franklin's bones I didn't say that he murdered them. Well I mean why else would you keep a bag of bones in the basement? You weren't murdering so what they finally got to after this long drawn-out documentary was that he was doing like anatomy lessons with his protege. Okay William Heusen which you can't get still at that time in seventeen seventy six or something revolution. Yeah so in. That time it was. It was just as hard to come by dead bodies legally as it is now as it is now. Yeah Yeah you dead bodies so they like did grave. Robbing I think or like black market dead bodies delivered to them so that they could like cut them up when they found the bones there was like straight up cuts like in the bones. Garner like jude like going from Maryland. I think they were just doing. They were figuring out anatomy at that time. They didn't know everything that they know. Now you know what I mean so you have to actually like cut people up. So there's Franks I know right. Massive Freemason Poon Hound like many ladies Sexually transmitted diseases dead bodies in his basement. Founding Father Fungi founding and you know the key to the kite right yeah shit. Yeah Yup fucking amazing beef. Ranks have known do would unknown. Benjamin Franklin's bone yet. A curious mind is what we call it in the Bizet curious mind wanted to cut open people. That's the thing is back then. People used to do shit like that was just like man. I'd like to learn about everything. There is no college. Schooling is in a little tiny wooden house with the other eight kids that live on your block so speaker shit out on her own. How are we GONNA do this? Like Davinci did a bunch of weird shit beef. Franks doing shit. Edison Sherburne lakes. Steve figure you gotTa sometimes you gotta pull open a butter knife and a body. Try to dig into. Somebody's SC wrote and figure out what's going on in this world. We call biology. Yeah Yeah and I respect that about him. I'll give you a pass on that. That sounds like a fun thing. Yeah Yeah it was done very you know. Pbs re-enactors with the whigs and the guy that played Benjamin Franklin in the reenactment how he was everything like he looked like he was a real coon hound in real life. They just found a guy that had longer gray hair. They were like you because you know I wanted to start a re-enactors Getting Troop Bozo Ring Right A. B. Rain yet. The guy that played him did not bowls and then he had long long back to anyways he banging a black man not in. This could have been for her because braided up for her to show his. He's cooler. No this was more about the bones but yeah. I'm sure I'm may go down because you know how I get. I may go down a Franklin Hall. Okay do you know what I mean? Yeah we're way to put it. We may go real deep into a Franklin whole now because sure he has peaked. My interest room. Like what the fuck was this guy into and back in the day? When you don't have real document he was a freemason so you kind of like he could go behind closed doors and like no one would know about the weird shit that he did not like scientology and he was like a powerful person that leads. You don't really question you're like all right. I guess you know do whatever you want for sure. Franks so he signed the Declaration of Independence Right. No one knows Franklin right all I know about is the bones and the poon hounding but again I will go deep into that just like I did with the House of Windsor on PBS. That you're giving so much shit about You learned a lot I did. And what did he was one of the right. God bless it one one five fifty five signatures someone again Get MYSELF FIFTY. Five pats on the back for that way to go russ asked him at school. You know it does pay off Sharon but let's keep it in the history theme here last. Today is a big day for me. You Know My love of Ford's theatre the assassination. Love all of that. Today's the day and wasn't as the day it happened. Okay the Wilkes booth yeah. Today's the day he pulled the trig. Ten Fifteen PM E. Markets Tonight's and know that I will be raising shots shot glass okay for that. They were watching our American cousin and John. Wilkes booth pulled out that derringer one shot in the back of the dome. We still need to America's greatest president. Yeah we need to get you back into that. Go back to DC at some point when all of this you know. I love to actually get to go in and then follow the Lake Body. A fucking losers. I've been before right and you've done the whole thing. The whole thing followed the body across hang on. They've really ramped it up. Now so yeah. They didn't have that much going on now. They've preserved the theater all that shit like I've seen the pillow that he died on and he was laid out on the little tiny bed kind of put his body in crazy and the blood still on the pillow. And that's in case across the street across the street right and then he ended up dying the next day. But certainly every anniversary Daniel day-lewis should just do it. Yeah yeah yeah he should fucking like. Dd L. should be up there sitting in the business for the anniversary and then you like walk you like follow the body across like you love to do and then you're like oh my gosh. Here's the thing once a year and this would be a fun thing for ticket sales because let's face it everybody's the fuck out over the Kovic Bullshit. They might not go. Tourism might be down at Ford's theater right to rampant backup. I see you get DD L. And then once a year just wants you. Don't tell anybody what day it's on. It'd be like seeing a no hitter or a perfect game in person. Dd L. Turns and knocks out John Wilkes booth and then they fucking change history. And you're like Oh shit we you there on that one night. It's like yeah. It's like seeing the original Hamilton. Cast in like Puerto Rico Jerry Once upon a time in Hollywood I love it just kind of like. Wouldn't it be great if this happened? People were still alive he just turns out just knocks out booth and I mean a violence. Bloody knockout knock out in Abe goes into his house and gets Kovic is it's a little too now of the now like keep it in the period you know what I'm saying. Keep it nats of vein punches that crazy wife and then has a hot bitch. That like comes up quantum leap. You know what I'm saying like there is no leap. He's staying in his time period and stays in his lane B if he threw him on stage and said. Hey you know what? You'RE A fucking actor. Act motherfucker know right and then boom the play goes on and then we kind of figure out what the rest of his gun on him. He goes down long. WanNa go yes and if you WANNA go sexual with it. He takes Mary todd across the street. Maybe another actress and they fucking that bed that he died in you know and that's the whole experience like we follow. That happen fun. You know. Yeah that's fun. Another like a threesome. During those times I could I I could have died. I didn't now. I'm having a threesome families with the kids and they're like Oh my God like because you don't know the time that they're going to do you know how they do it like every so they'll say the day but you get the ticket for whatever our you got right and then you bring your kids your family. Whatever and that one hour you don't know which one is going to be. You don't know everything changes everything changes and it's like you know your eight year old is freaked out and you're like no no son open your eyes open your eyes and your ears and maybe you can hear a little better. You'RE GONNA Watch President Lincoln Book Today. He's GonNa he's going to have a little threesome. Maybe make a low baby right. Because is there a better person to teach your kids about the birds and the bees than Abraham Lincoln is there? Tippers differ. There would be anybody else. Better than Abraham Lincoln teaching our kids about sex and threesomes right. Where'd you learn that? From Abraham Lincoln. Fuck all right cool man. I guess you can watch that King on Youtube. Then go ahead right. You can put your headphones on and get that king on your tablet your fine you know. That came big store today. Kids this Zalm Brahma Cuomo sexual. "What did Howard say about Mrs Jeff? Oh that's a great question. Howard Howard? Stern is such a petty fucking loser. There's breaking news warrior Howard. Stern is a petty fucking loser. He went off on Imus. Basically you know pissed on his grave because that's a brave move to do right. You pissed on I Mrs Grave. He he came back from one of his month vacations and then his first order of business was to get right into it and trash imus as I'm as his lane cold in the ground somewhere. That's real brave. Howard you're a brave man? I hope that Fed. You're stupid fat fucking. Can you go all right. Let me read. This Howard doesn't get a lot of prestige days so it's another reason why he decided to go after imus because he knows everybody would talk about it. But he's such a fucking loser most of us most of US human beings you know when when you have a beef with someone and and you really dislike someone and you go out back and forth for years and then that person ends up dying. Most of us are human beings. We actually let it go. I was gonNA start seeing let it go from frozen and I decided that would be really really fucking stupid. All right from the Daily News finally finally back from the holidays. Howard stern addressed passing fellow shock jock? Don I miss with the message of indifference Monday. He said and hi quote. I don't fucking care and soon as Howard says I don't fucking care you know. He cares a lot so you know he's about to go off. The self proclaimed King of all media returned to the airwaves Monday and started the New Year by kicking dirt on the grave of the late. Dj A who many consider to be a rival. Stern said he was. I shocked by news of his death as was his sidekick Robin quivers then the pair said on their Sirius. XM morning show that they will ultimately remember Imus as racist Anti Semite of limited talent. Holy Shit Oh this Howard Stern for whatever reason needs the world to know that he's the greatest human being Tabora live good luck. What could you got great competition with Donald Trump there? Howard you've bought in lows sir? Oh my God first of all the the amount of racist material that Howard put out on on the airwaves over. The years was probably way more than what I'm did. And then the beauty thirty of imus. He didn't start going through his archives and editing. Out All the edgy crazy. Material to make himself look better like Howard has been doing for the last few years he wants everyone to just you know think that he never was a racist and never did racist material on his radio show He. He got away with way more than the average shocked. Because he had robin quivers sitting there co-signing for the whole thing making it easier because it's easier to do racist stuff off if you got a black person in the room with you Let's see let's continue with this article from the Daily News. Amen thank you thank thank you. There was no charm there with I'm stern said after announcing we were entering an free decade and twenty twenty yeah. He used to have a K.. AKA member on his show. But Howard doesn't want you to know that anymore. He's he's he's rewriting his own history and then he goes after missing saying he was a racist according to Stern. And this is bullshit This might be all that all those years of therapy. He says he feels sympathy for Mrs Family. But his grief ends there I went back and listen to and read some of the shit he said about us and about other people it was like I don't fucking care. Stern said stern recall that one of his biggest. The problem with this is that the cowboys had wearing hose frequently took credit for being a trailblazer went. According to Stern Sixty five his seventy nine year old colleague changes own act when both men were at NBC and Stern Star began to rise. Of course of course. Of course. I'm doing doing it wrong until you came along. Our of course fucking delusional man fucking delusional. I never saw myself as someone who came from the School of broadcasting. Stern said I felt like I miss came from my school of broadcasting. yuck according to stern I miss made a career out of claiming to be his chief competitor though the feeling was never mutual. Are you kidding me for a long time. They were competitors patters. I'll stroke your ego today there. Howard I mean but in the end you had had the big show yes but you absolutely were competitors for very very long time? It was total. Bullshit it was fake news like trump saying some bullshit about how he had a bigger crowd than Obama. Stern said. I'm said it enough times that people start believing wing it. There is absolutely zero evidence to support this. He wasn't number two to my number one. I was in fact number one. How we're losing a ship because Don Imus died? That's crazy man bro. You're still living and breathing and you're getting closer and closer to a billionaire. Yeah when you. When are you going to be happy? What is it gonNA take for you to be happy? Oh my God all right where where was I all right. He was like number twenty any three in the market but he's somehow thought the rest of the radio dial didn't exist. Stern finds it telling that I'm as frequently sought to align himself with him but the opposite wasn't isn't always true. That isn't true. Howard especially in the last ten fifteen years of his career? He barely mentioned you. He was doing his own thing. Every obituary about Imus mentions me by the second paragraph. You said I could tell you when I die. I don't think there'll be mentioning. I miss. He's just happy that he's finally getting some press to this guy. He's hours insane. He's absolutely insane. Howard Stern is the next Bruce Jenner? I said that a while ago. You stealing my material James Evans. I said a while ago I said that Howard is very jealous. Ellison pissed off that Bruce Jenner beat them to the punch now. I don't know anything but I'm just saying Howard stern invented Don Imus all right didn't go head to head with our for a long time before our went up I I mean they worked penetrators they absolutely were competitors and they didn't like each other but but tha to piss on his grave. Now that he's dead is so fucking lame and petty. I can't tell you he should know. Oh better most. People drop their beeps when someone dies that they didn't like let's see quivers said her discuss. Brian has started when he called Her the N.. Word in the hallway at NBC. I'm is called into the show to claim he'd in fact I He'd in fact called her a Negro which he followed up by asking if she prefer are being called by different. Racial Epithet. All right. That's a little rough but I but I wasn't in the hallways. That day was joking. Do they have such problems that he went. There decided to go for the atom bomb. I don't know but Howard's not innocent when it comes to that racial shit. We all know that according adding to stern and other black colleagues at I'm had insulted her with the same language racial insensitivity will surely be a big big part of Obama's legacy most notable notable was his NC insult of the rutgers. Women's basketball team play as nappy headed. HOS during a two thousand seven broadcast. Whatever I mean Howard did that type of shit as well? I mean you know a short time after insulting quivers oakwoods call them a sniveling coward. Wow Wow Robin short time. After insulting quivers Imus referred to stern as a Jew bastard during the nineteen eighty-four interview. And what you suggested. His rival should be put in an oven. There you go. That's a little rough. It's rough but you've got two guys that don't like each other so they were kind of thrown. Some you know some atomic bombs at each other all right. They have recordings to support their claims. I've been around that my whole life stern said when you're smarter than someone okay outward art and you're just better at it than someone and they're desperate to get to you the real pigs go to the Jew bastard comment because they think that cuts through you okay. Okay like you haven't said really horrible shit to people because you were pissed off. According to Stern I'm issued have thanked him for setting precedent that radio personalities can make a name for themselves by talking about the day's events without playing records though he contends he didn't get the point of imus skits nor did the nor did he find him. Am Clever. How is the obituary? Going stern laugh toward the end of his tirade. Hug Stern of luck stern invented everything thing. There you go. That's what he needs to feed that faulk in Eagle of his shortly before retiring from radio in March I'm told. CBS Sunday Sunday morning. Whatever bad blood stern felt toward him wasn't reciprocated when they worked together that'd be say between eighty two and eighty five or since he had a big problem with me? I said I didn't with him. So there you have it. I think I think it's just completely ridiculous and how it went down that road. He should have just fucking faulk let it be man. The guy's gone. Yeah he's a big man who can't let the dead rest there you go James Evans. Yeah have you ever spoken our one on one. No I did. Not You know the story. I sit start saying hi to them in the hallway and he did that and I think he told his story about how I miss one let people people say hi to him and radio stations and I'm sitting there on my couch. Holy Fuck Howard do the same shit that he's claiming that I'm as did Komo fired up. Sorry I apologize. This was supposed to be a nice little. Hey let's look at the sunset but I saw that in the daily news is I think it's I. I really do think it's petty and pathetic to go down that road after someone dies..

"Talks with the Iranian foreign minister what happened today rich did the Iranians just take two tankers out of commission in international waters that makes three in like three or four days and they've taken the the crew the kidnap the crew must be America's fault were itching for war you see ladies and gentlemen and tensions arise and what the president of the United States needs to do right now ladies and gentlemen is fire John Bolton with the Iranians love that Sir John Bolton's the boogie man it's like Halliburton you know John Paul the patriot so you're gonna hear this from the code pink wing or I should call it the Eliane Omar wing of the Republican Party and media so we get a conga line of oddballs telling us how the entrenched people in Washington DC want war hi I just a sometimes I'm just astonished by the stupidity that I have to hear by the ideologues did you know Donald Trump is surrounded by people who want war John but once war ladies and gentleman you know that why are these people attacking John Bolton should they be attacking the people who run Iran it John Bolton take any a tanker today to taking Americans kidnapped to kidnap Americans killed American though so so why the hate for John Bolton this is partly the Philip Klein is a great pace great column today the of Washington examiner you should check it out of park I thank because the Iranians are very good a propaganda and unfortunately there are some people in our own country that seem to be repeating it the Iranians took provocative actions today not we the American people that the United States Navy no we're not looking for war the Iranians are in multiple wars they're looking for war has nothing to do with the Iraq war that took place nothing what I mean the difference between prudence and practicality first his ideology and so you'll see a lot of these radio shows and TV shows they really aim to trying to influence the president's foreign policy you know Mister president we know you're good but you're surrounded by a bunch of neocons the neo cons and so you have people you respect ladies and gentlemen to sound like the left when in fact that's not the case at all so I trust the president I faith in the present on this he understands what he's dealing with he's dealing with an S. llama **** regime if they had nuclear weapons I fear they would use them and that's the risk that's the rest the code pink Republicans are willing to take is at risk you're willing to take I don't know how we condemn Obama for appeasing the Iranians and yet we have people code pink Republicans who insist on appeasing the Iranians really it's usually the same crowd is that the same crowd that really trashes America trashes America's institutions trashes the state of Israel like you know Israel's behind it that's the Jewish lobby you know like this clown in The Washington compost L. thank or whatever his name was how fraud to the Jewish lobby really it's the Jewish lobby the told the Iranians to do what they did today to the United Kingdom how sick and stupid this I mean I'd say senator rand Paul links to an article by guy the used to calm sub the southern Avenger was a secessionist and any Confederate I mean this is the insanity you get from the code pink Republicans who ply their radical libertarian ideology to the constitution that's not how you interpret the constitution nor is it how you interpret what's taking place all over the world if you want to live your life that way go for it I've got no problem with that tell I wanna live my life for the most part but it's unfortunate the Iranians don't live that way the Chinese government does want to live that way the north Korean government does want to live that way does want to live that way I also recall that so many of these people these code pink Republicans hate America first even though they pretend otherwise on the right where at making excuses for beauty not talking about interference in the election no but they they would even say that they added my admiration for cute what that be the beauty who sends jets to buzz our bombers and our ships I mean it's so bizarre to me it's so bizarre so there's a tendency unfortunately it's not just the Democrat party media that do this but it's also the code pink ears that are in the media who do the same thing they load up their guest lists the propagandists who will support their positions what they have somebody on who disagrees with them they'll shut them down interrupt them constantly although from a non sequiturs like well what about the Iraq war well I don't know what about the Spanish American war what does that have to do it if they look at each situation as it presents itself and try to make the best judgment you can that's what you're supposed to do if you're serious person fortune internalize here's people you know like mark Levin the neo con who puts war first in America last kind of insane low IQ Neanderthal writes an article like that I don't know what kind of senator links to it right ran chip off the old block father was a cook and say with all due respect hi all right let's see if there's any calls here Mister producer and fortunately my call screeners buzzed out go ahead and and give me a good one in Israel okay Rick in Israel on the live in app you understand this is part of the Jewish conspiracy right Rick reporter right so I'm thank you for taking my call you are truly my teacher my professor and I love listening to you I even love traffic jam yes I was going to say that the left view this with view the Jews with so much content that they don't even know that he even by their own double standard by their own canon lasted ideology we don't get so I got a fire to owner when we feel like we're being attacked by anti semite like Marin tie leave and so forth great to them I did drop anything that might even be that tangentially very tangentially related or unrelated no question about it and I can't and they get covered by The Washington Post The New York Times and CNN and all the rest of them and I would I was going to add you were talking about Comcast before and the fact that your time is owned by Jewish family following last so you know thanks again billionaire stepped in about seventeen or so percent of it but still pretty much contemptible we can all right my friend by the way what time is it in Israel it is eighty three twelve in the morning and I'm about to collapse how do you listen to the show in Israel on the mark live an app your because I mean Carolina I worked a at the Chicago board of trade for a long time lot of Jewish people around and just I don't know just got it like so the Christian like learning how they think about religion and things right and and a and him being a Jewish person I don't understand like how you put it like this self haters I really don't understand well it's it's tough thing to understand and it is difficult history the media chapter two the use of propaganda and pseudo events chapter three character abuse of power chapter seven in terms of how they've covered presidents in the past so we cover a lot of territory but we do and I think I do it there is no way I do it in a I think compelling way I don't have any co authors like you know the southern Avenger all by my lonesome but I hope you folks will "The words that you just heard of habitual liar. Bottom feeding scumbag James Comey and his ilk. That we ripped the media bitch unamerican Taikang when they do it. Oh, it's perfectly. Okay. When they lie. It's perfectly. Okay. When they deceive. It's perfectly. Okay. Well, the first amendment is just for them. Right. It's very true true. That's right. They get all the free speech, and blah, blah, blah, black bag. That's right. We have to be regulated. We could be thrown in jail. If we disagree with popular liberal thought in theory. And here's call me who for months has been trashing Trump because Trump trashes the media, and he comes out and trashes, Fox News. Here's Colby laughing. At the fact that he was brought back in to testify behind closed doors. I might add about his involvement in the Hilary Clinton Email scandal or is racist. James Clyburn told us yesterday. This is a waste of the people's money and a waste of time the same racist James Clyburn who has come out and said, we're going to investigate everything about Trump lot of waste of money. Ladies and gentlemen. No. It's only when the Republicans do it is it a waste of money and a waste of time. This is why I continually say if you listen to anything these people if you go along with anything, they say, you're the fool. They want to intimidate you. And make you buckle. Ooh. I can't rip the media. They told me it's it's unconstitutional and the media has a free pass, and they can do whatever they want. So I'm not gonna rip the media. Then they come out and rip the media. There's perfectly okay. All of a sudden, according to racist, James Clyburn. It's a waste of money to do these investigations. I wonder if racist James Clyburn is going to talk about how much money is being wasted. By all the investigations. That the socialists going to undertake. I'll bet you then racist James Clyburn says no no the American people deserve the truth. No matter what we have to follow. It all the way to the end you watch that'll be that'll be very similar to what he'll claim he won't talk about waste of time. No waste of money. Then. Oh, no. No, no. Then the American people deserve to know the truth. I don't listen to anything. They say I take no direction from these people. Now, let's go onto let's go onto before we get back to this five billion dollars. Oh my God. For the wall. And how it's not conservative to be in favor of the wall. Let's go to Michael Flynn. Who will be sentenced prediction again? Ladies and gentlemen. It'll be a tap on the wrist. If that. The judge in this case. Emmet Sullivan sees right through the deceit of captain America. Bobby Muller, who we still don't know how much he benefited financially from signing off on uranium one. This is the head of the this is a guy. Now think about this. This is a guy who supposedly his investigation is supposedly it's not anything of supposedly about Russian interference in collusion. And all that. And this is a guy who signed on and signed off. On selling the Russians eighty percents of our uranium supply. Now think about that. Anyhow. So Flynn is going to get his sentencing today. And an article written by former federal prosecutors, Sydney Powell headline new facts indicate Muller, destroyed evidence and obstructed Justice. The supreme court held long ago in Brady versus Maryland that the constitution requires the prosecution which holds all the cards in a criminal case to give the defense all evidence favorable to the defendant, whether it impeaches a witness mitigates punishment or shows his innocence. Indeed, the burden is on the prosecutors to find anything in the possession of the government that is favorable to the defense from the minute judge Emmet Sullivan received the case against Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, which will be decided today he ordered Muller to provide the defense with all Brady material last week. Judge Sullivan specifically ordered Muller to produce any FBI interview reports called three oh twos or memoranda relevant to the original interview of general Flynn. Ironically, Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley has been requested. The agents notes and the three oh two's for two years did Muller comply. Let me pause for a second the whole his whole time Muller, the CIA the FBI they have dragged their feet in every way possible to delay releasing asked for documents. They have lied. They have coerced. They have played games staved on everything. But produce the documents. And the article goes on remarkably not, but not surprisingly to those who have read his book Muller has thumbed his nose at judge Sullivan's order. He produced Olea three oh two created by his own squad seven months later from his own agents interview of none other than the infamous fired for by is disgraced Trump loathing former agent. Peter struck. The guy who swore he'd stop President Trump and devised an insurance policy with his mistress. Lisa page and deputy director Andy McCabe in case, Trump won the election. We are watching Muller execute that insurance policy by the day. The evidence indicates Muller has destroyed or suppressing Brady material. There was an original three oh to created within five days by FBI protocol on January twenty four th two thousand sixteen ambush interview of general Flynn by two agents Strock and special agent. Joe Pete guy, it is PI and TK. It is mentioned in the struck page. Text messages and on page four the recrafted three. Oh, two Muller filed. Call me read the original three oh, two before he was fired it existed as Grassley well knows it was written by agent. Or again, I don't know how to pronounce that name who also took extensive handwritten notes whose name is redacted from Muller's filing, and who seems to have disappeared. Where are the original three oh to his notes, and whereas agent Panca Grassley has been trying to get access to all three for almost two years. Where's this agent? Ladies and gentlemen. Oh, one a Saudi journalist disappeared. The American journalist enemy of the American people is who they are. They didn't ask any questions about where this agent is disappeared. You wanna bet he's been sent away by Muller? On a nice island trip somewhere in the Caribbean where he can't be found he stored away somewhere. Muller's filing confirms that Adrian was assigned to take notes to the interview judge Sullivan's. Order encompasses the production of those notes. Where are they will? They destroyed despite Grassley is longstanding request and judge Sullivan's original Brady order the failure to produce them as another Brady violation at warrants, the dismissal of the charges against Flynn and warns holding Muller and his team in contempt of court. By the way. Even struck that deceitful little weasel. And we don't know about this. I think this good guy too. They even said that Flynn wasn't lying. They even said that they questioned him. After lying to him about what the whole thing was all about. They claimed it the questionnaires excuse me, the questioners they said, he wasn't lying, but Bobby Muller claims. He is make no mistake. Bobby Muller's is establishment is the rest of these people his whole what we know this already. We know this investigation is a crock of garbage. Anyway, the article goes on it's, but he makes the case that it is Bob Muller who indeed in destroyed evidence. And it is Bob Muller who indeed obstructed Justice. Had. He lays it out. Very clearly you could read that article on the daily caller. It's therefore you if you want to read more of it. By the way. So since we're talking about, and we briefly mentioned it will dive back in deep in relation to the waist. That it costs to build the wall. How much is this? How much is this rat investigation cost us? It's funny. How the never Trumper foot there. The phony conservatives, by the way, they the never Trumpers of the phony conservatives when they get to your television set and tell you a you're really not a conservative. They are because they oppose Trump and yet. Virtually everything that Trump has done has been conservative, even though he's not a conservative. And when they tell you how conservative they are, you know, easy. It is to poke holes in these people. But they're going to educate us on what conservativism is. Yes. Conservativism is open. Borders conservativism is a lying FBI and CIA conservativism is a president hatching a plot against his successor conservativism, and I can keep going on with these people. They're the phony conservatives, ladies and gentlemen, they are the never conservatives. Not us. Remember liberals will always accuse you of what they are. I'm thinking these these never Trumpers, really liberals at heart because they will accuse you accused me. Choose us of being what they are. Fascinating stuff. Okay. When we come back. We'll jump back into that into that. Supposedly being you're not really a conservative. If you're in favor of the war. We just dug up a couple of things at random because you know, that five billion dollars. This is the case if you're a conservative how can you warn spending five dollars on a wall, that's not very conservative, actually. It is very conservative. But the never Trumpers. I've wondered this who makes you who makes you wanna wretch more. The liberals who still haven't accepted their defeat. And that's why you see all this nonsense or the never Trumpers. For me, you know, the liberals are acting like liberals, hypocrites, liars, etc. The never Trumpers. They're even worse. Ladies and gentlemen, there even worse because they'll just find some straw, man, phony argument to take up against the president based on the fact that they hate the president. But they're going to tell us what real let's put it this way. Let me ask you listen. I love George W Bush. Not a perfect, man. Certainly not a perfect president. But a wonderful human being so. But I asked this who's been more conservative Trump or Bush. Who I have the undying respect for the late H W Bush. I don't hate him as much as many Republicans, do okay. Realizing that you know, I mean, you could poke a hole a few holes in his conservative under doings. But who's more conservative Hw Bush whose acted who's presided more as a conservative H W Bush or Donald Trump who is not a conservative who's actually done more conservative. I don't know we have h w gave us judge Souter. We'll see by the way about judge Cavanaugh because his first major ruling on that abortion case. And that's another thing. I thought judge Cavanaugh was going to wipe out Roe versus Wade. And yet his first ruling on abortion when in favor of the pro choice or the pro death party. No question. That Trump has acted more conservative than George W Bush or George H W Bush. But these conservatives are so dug in that despite all the great the conservative things that Trump has done. They'll find reason why they hate them too. Five billion dollars. Oh my God. Ladies and gentlemen. You do realize that's gonna bust the Bank on this country. Right. We can't do it. Yeah. Yeah. Wait till we give you some of. This is look this is all random where we spent a lot more, for example. Just to tease you a little bit. And then we'll come back with even the audio. That boondoggle stimulus cost almost a trillion dollars. I ask you this. What will do better for the country, a trillion dollar giveaway to lunatic environmental groups and leftist activists because that's what Obama did what our money or five billion dollars spent on a wall, which one will actually help this country more and do more for this country, the five billion dollar wall or the trillion dollar stimulus. That's what I thought. It's the morning ritual on KFI AM seven ninety Tucson's. Most stimulating talk.

"Sports law right now at the same time you. Have this busy Hoppy on the. Weekends tell about your latest racing pursuits how you doing on the, track yeah you know so we're out there we just had our fourth race. Which is pretty amazing how well we're doing considering this is. The fourth time I've ever driven a race car We got our fifth race coming up and actually we've had some listeners stop by and the pits afterwards Aw yeah gentlemen come by and and he said it, was, like I. Heard you on the radio show. Love the show and wanted to, come by and say. Hi so anyway great to have him come by I think it was a carburetor Mike was his name Mike if, you're, listening thank you So anyway we were doing so good last week and we were running sixth fastest in practice qualified on the pole for the. Dash and coming out of turn one we were leading and then going into when I came back around the track, going back into overdrive the corner just a little bit in. The car wouldn't hold the bottom we're having. A little bit of a challenge keep the car down low so pushed up just a, little kind of left an opening which basically caused, us to go three wide now you don't go, three? Wide and a heat, race right I. Didn't know that but you do it's. Kind of a rule of, thumb she'd done k. three. Y but we went through what so I'm sandwiched in the middle gave plenty of room to the guy in the bottom. And the, guy in the top but unfortunately the guy in the bottom decided that. Eight wheels turn better than four so he, slammed his car. Into me Look at the picture and he is literally splitting between the low and the high line and you're like buddy you gotta stay. On the line of do that but just over drove the corner hit me Mike car starts to slide hit the, car up top sends me to a slide now headed towards. The wall I managed to save it keep. Going without spending the photos you literally see my car sliding sideways like eighty miles an, hour oh ma'am but I saved it and jump, back on it and anyway so we were running, so? "Wrote with richard boyle but that year actually woody allen one for his sisters another interesting nominee that year paul hogan for a little movie called crocodile dundee that was nominated for best screenplay i love that screenplay the part where he thinks the dudes at the cool manhattan party or snorting eucalyptus because they have colds dumps it into boiling water i forgot about that it always made me do the eucalyptus in hot water thing so every single time i was like what is that other cool stuff that the guys are doing that looks fun all right so what about people what do people think of this film most people really adored platoon i think it was useful in that it started a conversation among that to their family members is the story that you always hear the people from this time saying that for the first time they were really able to show vietnam film to their kids to their wives in say this is what it was like i have hard time talking about it but this is what it was like although a few vietnam vets did watch the film afterwards and they were like well okay but you have these scenes where the viet cong are like walking right behind a bright light they would never do that because you have your also torn between trying to make it look as messy and catholic war and then the fact that what was even messier than this they were fighting in absolute pitch blackness but oliver stone couldn't make a solidly black movie otherwise everybody would have walked course or is that technical difficulties roger ebert said something really interesting when it came out that actually connects slightly to bonnie and clyde he said that francois to said it is not possible to make an anti war movie because all warm of their energy and sense of adventure end up making combat looked like fun but rodriguez truffaut had seen platoon if he had lived long enough to see platoon the which recalls calls the best phone is eighty six he would have changed his mind because this film finally made war look awful interesting but that's not fun who wants a compliment let's talk about pauline kale trashing mogo weight because of course polling kill trashes movie here's some excerpts from her big paneth attune we concern is that stone became a grunt in vietnam to quote unquote become a man and to become a writer as platoon a coming of age film demonstrates he went through his right of passage but as platoon also demonstrates he became a very bad writer a hype artist when he doesn't destroy things with voiceover banalities or square line of dialogue he made it with a florida yester such as having the christ figures elliot's run away from the viet cong who were firing at him towards the departing helicopter which is only chance for life and lift his arms to heaven elliot's is supposed to represent true manliness but if stones other films tell us anything if this film tells us anything it's that stone is temperamentally more on the side of the crazy stud barnes the preparation extolling the nobility of the common man is worse than a quote unquote privileged boys guilt it is a grown man's con wow wow she sees through everybody look at her however she does also say in the review she calls all over stone several times a good director it that's one of the things i've always admired about palling kayla's a.
