"Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars will become the first NFL team to play two international games in the same season when they spend back to back weeks in London this year. The Jaguars will host the Atlanta Falcons at Wembley Stadium on October 1st and visit the Buffalo Bills at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 8th. The Jaguars were set to play two designated home games in London in 2020, but the pandemic canceled those plans. Newcastle catches United with 2-0 win
"Newcastle took a huge step towards Champions League by blanking Manchester United two nil. The magpies finally got on the board with Joe Willock's header in the 65th minute and Callum Wilson ice the victory in the 88th for united, it's just the second loss in 17 games across all competitions, but the team is winless in three straight Premier League outings. Conte slams 'selfish' Tottenham after draw with Southampton
"Platinum wasted a two goal lead and settled for a three three draw with Southampton. James ward prowse scored on a penalty and stoppage time, leaving spurs two points ahead of Newcastle for the final Champions League birth. Southampton had scored just twice in its previous 5 league games. Harry Kane notched his 23rd goal for spurs, who also received scoring from Pedro poro and Ivan perisic. "Alexander Esau scored the tying and winning goals as Newcastle knocked off Nottingham Forest two one. Essex tallied in the first half stoppage time and connected again on a penalty and stop its time in the second half. The goals allowed the magpies to pull within a point of Tottenham with a game in hand for the final Champions League birth. Newcastle is also 5 points clear of Liverpool Emmanuel Dennis had the goal for forest, which remains two points clear of relegation. It was for his first league loss at city ground since September. Casemiro sent off again, Man United held 0-0 by Southampton
"Manchester United scoreless streak has reached two games with a nil nil draw with last place Southampton. United avoided a loss despite Casa Miro's second red card in his last three league games. The midfielder was sent off in the 34th minute for a studs up challenge that was initially worthy of a yellow card. Casimir will sit out four straight games. Chelsea wins again, Liverpool loses at Bournemouth in EPL
"Liverpool's one zero loss to Bournemouth leaves the red 6 points behind Tottenham for the final Champions League birth. Philip billing scored in the 28th minute after being teed up in the box by dongo cotera. Liverpool had a golden chance to tie it, but most salad badly missed a penalty in the 70th, sailing at way wide of the left post. Biggest loss in 90 years for Man U in 7-0 rout at Liverpool
"Liverpool's resurgence has continued with a 7 zero humiliation of Manchester United. Cody gakpo, Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah, each scored twice for the reds, who tallied 6 times in the second half. Brighton draws with Leicester
"A late goal allowed Brighton to earn a two all tie with Lester and move to 6 than the EPL table. Back up Evan Ferguson scored on a header with two minutes to play, leaving the seagulls two points behind 5th place Tottenham. Opened the scoring, but lest her tied it on Mark albright in school in the first half, and went ahead when Harvey Barnes tallied in the 63rd minute. "Giving a bit of a less than the first half, and then haven't ever complete rethink. And recently it's been too late in these games. The only in this season against Alexa Bournemouth and others, it wasn't. They came back from being behind. Some things were two goals down. They came back. You can't keep doing that and getting away with it. Not against good saves. We were better in the second half. It's a comfort to no one. And I don't understand why Antonio Conte is seeing that. We've seen sports come back and be a second half team for a lot of this season. But if you're arsenal and you're too up at halftime and you know that spurs can step it up again and you've shown that. All you have to do is just as a you just don't do anything silly. You don't lose this game. So Antonio contino saying, well, we were back in the second half, it says he might as well come out and say, well, we didn't lose four nil. Also didn't continue to be as good as they were in the second half and batter us four zero. That is a comfort to absolutely nobody makes no sense in the context of this game. What was the feeling most of the crowd draws? My love frustration, for sure. I mean, the where we were signing the price box, people around us were leaving ten minutes before the end, 5 minutes. They were not even waiting in case there's a girl from spurs. You come back to two one down and then you can still maybe somehow get a drawer Tutu in they didn't even wait. They went home. I mean, I heard psychiatry that they said that it was hard to explain the difference maybe, but certainly that the club has the same message from the bottom to the top. And I think this is the key here they all together this, whether you are in this first team, whether you're in the academy, whether you in the offices, everybody is putting in the same direction, which is the key and I think Arteta has the recruitment team as an amazing job to build this together. If you look at the squad artist had when he took over, for example, even if you look at the team that they put against spurs at the Tottenham stadium last season at the end of the season to go and get that fourth or 5th place, it's very different to the one that he played today and the way they play is very different as well. They've built that team gradually, they build a squad gradually. Depending on the fitness of, I don't think I even Tony's going to be fair, but there are say that causes problems, particularly at home, scores, goals are a threat and Liverpool the fact the two games bike that the one that will not convince them against vela vela park got the result. And I certainly will not convince him against Leicester. So yeah, I think that's why I think defensively is the issue I've got with them. That's why I've gone for two. Stevie? I just, I can't disagree that Liverpool have been less than convincing, to be honest, but I think what Tottenham did to Brentford when they actually decided to start putting some pressure on them. And there's no question, Brent for Walter. Lost a couple of goals from being turned up. And if there's one thing Liverpool do do, they create a chances. And so I still see them creating chances and still see them scrolling goals. I don't see a Liverpool keeping a clean sheet. Defensive, they also are given chances up. But I just think the bread will have gone for two, one, but maybe it'll be three two. I just think a Liverpool will score more goals and branford. "Against England? I mean, it's yeah, the first goal is a big mistake. A lot of them have had to come from behind and couldn't been turned on at Bournemouth. I came back to when it laid on three two. There's been an ear of desperation about how he's had to change it and make the sobs. There was that early game at Chelsea in the season where they got completely buttered and then he just was able to go his bench and resurrect the situation. I just felt at the time when he needed ironically I thought and it's not going well from at the moment and we're going to know what we're going to discuss. But ironically, I actually fought Porter was probably a better for Tottenham than Namibia's where he is at the moment. Chelsea. Because he was a manager that wasn't going to scream and was prepared to toil the line will ever hit an extent. What with what he's got in terms of similarities to Brighton, get them playing some nice football as what he did at Brighton. "Against them, you know, the one guy that you're scared of that place to Tottenham is a center of fall would go higher he can. You don't want anything to do. Certainly in the box. Well, Harry kid Harley ever spends any time no one is saying the penalty box. You know, they don't have a so called playmaker in the middle of the park. The players they have out front are all about, you know, getting some space and using the piece to break in behind with the likes of rich Charleston and particularly so on. And so when there's none of that space and you've got Harry came dropping deep to be a playmaker, but who's getting the ball? You know, how do you come and get it? And then play himself on. Because right now that seems to be the only option that this pods have. And defensively, they've been horrible all season. It's one thing to struggle going forward, spoils and other teams, thinking it's Chelsea as well. But it's another thing to have your defense, which just looks as though it's going to give goals away every time they step on the field. Today, your research back there has got a mistake and me best. And they end up one behind. So it's not that difficult to see where sponsors problems are. But it's quick. To somewhat surprising results, we saw Chelsea held away by Nottingham Forest, that game finished one one. We'll talk about that a little bit later on, but we'll kick things off with Tottenham, losing at home by two goals to now against Aston Villa for more on this. Let's welcome in, shall we Stevie nickel, Frank Labeouf and his Julianne Laurent with before we hear from them. This was bad. Rotten. Just a continuation, really. I understand let's use the first day of the transfer window, so obviously there's been nothing happened. Leading into this game, whether that changes between now and the end of January for Tottenham, that remains to be seen. And they were missing rich arts and more accuracy of Benton corps, who has had a problem since the World Cup. I understand all that. However, you're still managed to put a half decent team out on the field, but you've continued to play in this environment that you've played recently. I mean, it is just so tough to watch. Harry Kane did you listen to the commentary most people were 20 minutes around the 20 minute mark before he even touched the ball. Right. And it's quite scary, really, so the box stops with them. I can take defeat. I can certainly watch Tottenham. Are any team losing, particularly with this Kenny squad that haven't spent a couple of 100 million plus dollars in the summer. I can accept the defeat happens. But he's responsible for performance as well as a result and was in neither a moment from this Tottenham side. And he's managing to get a tune out of summer around them who seemed to be happy to be jumping on his bandwagon that is we're just never, ever. Oh, it was a miracle. What you don't understand was last year was a miracle. I'm a magician getting this team in the top four. I was wonderful last year. And now it's just about the squad and it's really not my fault. Basically is what he's seen. Stevie, unless you're an Aston Villa fan, this is a really hard game to watch, wasn't it? Yeah, I mean, it was really drop. "Liverpool managed the two one win over Leicester without netting a goal. The red scoring came off the feet of Leicester defenseman Wout foss, about 6 and a half minutes apart late in the first half. "Mister Robson. Yeah, I've got the outside toilets at the Emirates have been named after me. The Porter news. The ball to load, yeah. To get the big gates with a big padlock on it. And I know he's a good coach. But honestly, at the moment, if you said to me, who's in charge of Tottenham, the way the plane, marine your Conte, it's very different. Right. That's how dull and boring it is until they're asked to come out of the shell to the point of the treat to come out the shell and go and play. The answer to the equation is not ideal, switch it on and off like a lightbulb. However, plasma will react and desperation and can usually cope with that kind of thing. But yeah, you know, you'd want them to be on the front foot. That's how city and Liverpool over the last three or four years whatever as I've had the success. By coming out and smothering teams and getting on the front foot and pushing teams back and it just seems Tottenham are either unable to do it, which I find slightly I don't believe that with the players they've got. Are they just don't want to do it? Frank, how long before a match did you know the starting lineup? Well, normally, to run 5 p.m., you know, we have a meeting just after having a little snack, we have a meeting with the coach and he put the line up and give us the start 11. It's normally where you know exactly who's going to play and this is the day before. No, that's the afternoon. When I used to play at 8 p.m. in France, that was around 5 p.m. and in England, when we played at 3 p.m., I would say that the culture that's at a meeting around 12 to 30, maybe one, and it was putting the 11 names.
