"Experience. I'm looking for in a mobile game. So that kind of turns me off. But i stopped playing kind of right away because they made me do a lot of house cleaning to earn money to buy my first flip and they're like go into this room and scrub the floors and clean up the trash and i'm like excuse me. Do you know how much cleaning. I'm doing in my house every day time to do the dishes do the laundry. I wanna play a video game. Where i have to mop. Somebody's fucking floor. Get outta here. That's fucked up. I gotta say that as a pretty fucked up idea. It's just like the intro to the game that they're like you have to do these jobs to make money and then you'll have money to buy your first flip and it kind of is like tutorial. Is it a bit. But i i just know there's like maybe you got inheritance. Or maybe it's like the whole harvest moon shape where you inherited a farm you know and then gandhi rats off you need like the sims god codes. I feel like for that game. Yes yes that's it. Yeah i mean. 'cause i think i forget that. The sims has this very robust house building mechanic in it and decorating mechanic in it but it requires lots and lots of in game currency which you know takes years to build up or as you mentioned a lot of real world dollars. Well so we'll see i'm. I'm still planning to try. Topi this other game that i tweeted about and i'll let you guys know. Maybe i'll do stream of it could be fun does. Hdtv has their own game. So they don't but they have an expansion pack in house flipper. Oh they have their own like themed expansion. Pack i love you. I feel like this is the i know i wanted to be good for me to just don't wanna like takeout someone else's trash image head. It's like four in the morning. And you're like feeding charlie you're pumping you're fucking mopping the floor. Like you're no i'm like. Why am i doing this well. I hope your home renovation. Megan Tan: Walking Away From a Successful Podcast

"Back in two thousand fifteen megatonne picked up a microphone and she launched a podcast a career. Really megan had never produced an audio story before but that didn't matter she had a story. She felt compelled to tell a memoir recorded as it happened. You're listening to millennial a podcast series about something that no one ever teaches you how to maneuver your twenties captured in real recently. I'm millennial. I graduated from college without a plan. Then i came home but things had changed. Megan stories were honest and intimate listeners. Loved millennial did podcast reviewers. The show took off. I made my first crucial decision as a postgraduate millennial and decided to move on with my boyfriend eventually though millennial wore her down since millennial was about megan the mike she picked up was always pointed at her. Everything in her life was fodder for the program. Her relationship with her parents. Her boyfriend work friends taxes. She felt like she couldn't put the mic down until she did. Megan closed up shop about two and a half years and forty seven episodes later. She had to. She couldn't take it any longer. I interviewed megan about that decision in two thousand eighteen. So here's this thing that you built with a lot of your own sweat and you become part of radio topi a- at the best month you have your four hundred thousand downloads and you walk away Do you know how many people out there who are making their own podcast. Right now would die for that. I wonder if they would though like when the thing that you love is grinding you into the ground mentally emotionally.

'Fortnite' maker says Apple threatened to cut it out of the App Store

"Epic. Think EPIC Games. Maker four nights seemed to think that we live in a dystopia. Based on their current marketing blitz. Against Apple Got topi wrong. There like we do but that's not it. Yes. Yes, the thirty percent cut apple is taking of your book sales maybe not the most pressing issue at the moment. God let me make sure I'd correct me if I'm wrong I hope I've got the sequence of events in order here was it Thursday I think this started that epic essentially. Put v Books on sale. On IOS at the same time that they also rolled out their own internal payment processing system for V box. Is that correct? Yeah. They basically created a system in Iowa where it would show you the full price regular price for books and then have a lower price below it. That says like epic account system you can tell this much literally side by side in the guests. It's Really quite literally just giving the consumer, the option of like you can pay this much or this much yup while. Yeah so that happened and then funny going back and looking at these new stories as a wrap up for this podcast and like comparing the time stamps on the articles for that day. Because the first one when that stuff rolled was like nine something in the morning and by like two thirty ish apple had pulled four nine, the APP store entirely. And then something like an hour to ninety minutes after that epic had filed its antitrust lawsuit. Against Apple Yeah. It was pretty much a boom boom boom like. This is exactly what epic new was going to happen and they were ready for it. They had a marketing campaign an in game event. All perhaps to go as soon as apple did what apple would do by pulling the game. Off of the APP store. If you already have in your account already had it on your phone, you could still play it and launch it and all the other stuff But. Yeah. They they they did it Google would eventually follow not long afterwards By, pulling it out and Yeah and the. So this is epic trying to jump on a lot of the antitrust stuff that is swirling around apple right now, the the you primarily the EU and there were some here but the kind of increased scrutiny. Then apple just kinda like said like not us Here but the the stuff I think is still in the in the making I'm not sure. and. So basically like they've forced this event and then capitalized on events like they're like, we're going to do this on an apples going to do this, and then we're GONNA file this lawsuit and run this sick parody of apples nineteen, eighty-four ad for all the extremely old people that are playing fortnight right? Yeah and remember this old ASS Super Bowl Ad. Super Ladder. Tablet. So granted one of the most famous commercials in history but. Yeah home call me petty but this is that trailer that they rolled out to the point where like They started losing the a little bit. I don't I. Don't I don't think they necessarily help their case with the way that they prepared this marketing blitz and well I think they're being shitty about it I think they're like it both can be right right. It's like okay this is a lawsuit that probably makes sense like we probably do need to be kicking the tires on. Apple forcing their thirty percent cut and blocking people from setting up their own payment processors and all sorts of stuff like you know that probably doesn't need to be heard one way or the other. But also epoch didn't necessarily need to like try to. Publicly paint. This is like apple took your game away. Apple did this I was like no, you did this like you knew the rules you had a lawsuit ready to go as you knew what apple would do to then try to say like Hash Tag free fortnight as like fuck you all. Ready to go into a fucking. Movie. Yeah exactly, and some hot cinema, which is hilarious. Don't get me wrong. Idea that like we're producing machinery to fucking announce a lawsuit but all the language that apple has used in response has been around stuff like breach of contract. They're pretty clear like like you. Like them or not you agree to our terms and then broke them. Yeah exactly and the terms are are not grade and you know I think there are a lot of smaller developers who would certainly benefit from epic taking this action. If it goes that way and I think that there's a real fight there, there's a real conversation to be had about. About these practices. EPIC is little. One of the few companies big enough to actually force this issue right like obviously. Like the little, guy. Making Games on the APP store has next to leverage in the situation. Right exactly takes like an epic to start this fight,

Recently he was in transparent and Topi drama the handmaid's Tale now how he starring in a broad NBC Sitcom called perfect harmony. And if it sounds like a big departure that was intentional I was sort of looking to do. Do a comedy. I've been doing a lot of dark stuff I wanted to get out of Gilead for a time. I talked with Brad Whitford before a live audience at KPCC's recent open house in perfect harmony Whitford plays a character who's very close to the show's creator. Leslie Flee Wake Webster Leslie. Had this story about her grandfather at the end of his life he was very pretentious. Kind of snooty eastern coastal dude. A WHO ended up at the end of his life kind of stock in Kentucky where she is from any ended up finding real joy and and nourishment working in this little church that he thought he didn't WanNa have anything to do with and that was sort of basis of it and I was looking for something to do in in these insane. "It's get back to what we mean. You topi? But you see playing out. Some people said, well, let's dystopia the opposite of utopia. But it is sold as utopia. It's not sold as dystopia. The mastermind. The so-called masterminds the Medeiros the Shah says is the Castro's. And quite frankly, the Bernie Sanders and so forth. Is served by an enthusiastic intelligentsia or so-called experts professionally engaged in developing and spreading utopian fantasies. Although there are conspicuous exceptions longtime Harvard, professor and political theoretician Harvey Mansfield, explain that modern intellectuals have monumental impatience with human complexity and imperfection. They believe that politics is a temporary necessity until the rational solution is put in place. Isn't that true? Well, of course, the rational solutions are not rational at all are they folks while intellectuals are obviously smart, they're not smart enough to conquered the social sciences and use them to rejig your society. They are posers to knowledge they do not and cannot possess. You see these people on TV all the time. Meanwhile, the intellectuals are immune from the impractical ability and consequences of their blueprints for they rarely present themselves for public office. Instead, they seek to influence those who do so they legislate without accountability. For the rest transforming society becomes a struggle between the U Topi and self determination and saw as evasion since the individual must acquiesce to centralise decision-making like government healthcare apart from brute force, the mastermind has in his arsenal a weapon that provides him with predominant advantage. Do you know what that is the law? The law. Basquiat the great Basquiat explain that when the law has exceeded its proper functions is not done some merely in some inconsequential in debatable matters, the laws gone further than this. It has acted in direct opposition to its own proper purpose. The law has been used to destroy its own objective. It has been applied to annihilating the Justice. It was supposed to maintain too limiting and destroying rights, which it's real appeal was to respect the law has placed the collective force at the disposal of the unscrupulous who wished without risk to exploit the person liberty and property of others. It's converted plunder into a write in order to protect plunder, and it is converted lawful. Defense into a crime in order to punish lawful defense on reading from Topi. If you're curious. Now when the law is used in this way, folks, the few plunder the many public sector unions, the many plunder the few the progressive income tax and everyone plunders everyone universal healthcare making utopia unsustainable and ultimately inhumane. EG venezuela. Centralizing and consolidating thirty is required to replace disperse decision. Making with a command and control structure that purpose of which is to coerce behavior in pursuit of a fantasy at dogmatic cause a false, religion, etc. That's not to say that knowledge and information from outside the central authority go without notice rather, it is collected in a self serving haphazard and incomplete way to tinker and adjust to torment and control. But never as a means to fundamentally challenge assumptions reconsider policies are disproved utopian ends. Obamacare. How could it since utopian since utopianism rejects rationality and appearances from the outset it repudiates experience. It is said to be nude different better and bigger. You know, like the green new deal. The mastermind relies on uniform standards born of insufficient knowledge and information, which are crafted from his own predilections, value, stereotypes experiences idiosyncrasies desires prejudice. And of course fantasy. The imposition of these standards may in the short term benefits summer, perhaps many. But over time the misery and corrosiveness from their full effects spread through the whole of society. Venezuela, although the masterminds incompetence envisioned plagued the society responsibility must be diverted. Elsewhere. That is to those assigned to carry them out or did the people's lack of sacrifice or do the enemies of the state who have conspired to thwart the utopian cause for the mastermind is inextricably linked to the fantasy. If he's fallible that who has to usher in paradise. If his judgment and wisdom are in doubt. Then the entire venture might invite scrutiny. So this leads to grander and Bulger social experiments requiring further coercion at what went before said to it'd been piecemeal and therefore inadequate the steps necessary to tree to achieve true utopianism have yet to be tried. So you can see this with ObamaCare now Medicare for all. For the individual and the people generally, this is dispiriting, destabilizing, stagnating and impoverishing. Although AllState action is said to be taken in the people's interest, the heavy if not crippling burden they shoulder is the price they pay for an impossible 'cause a cause greater than their lives. Liberty and happiness. The individual is inconsequential as a person and useful only as an insignificant part of an of an gut glamorization of insignificant parts, his worker part of a mass nothing more nothing less his existence Solis absolute obedience is the highest virtue. Look at red China after all only an army of drones is capable of building a rainbow to paradise. Now the morality of utopianism, albeit obvious to sober thinkers requires explicit attention nonetheless for perversely too, many remain enthusiastically committed to it. Utopianism is immoral per se. On what basis does utopianism make such a thorough claim on the individual's existence? On masterminds dogma in criticizing socialism's immorality, and it's peeled dropouts. Parasites? Hi, wrote rights derived from systems of relations of which the claimant has become a part through helping to maintain them any goes on. There's also no morality and utopian deception and distortion to promote an abstraction forcing the individual to behave in ways that are contrary to his best interest destructive of his nature. Tacking the civil societies ethical, norms and social arrangements and making commonplace dependency and coercion excuse me. It's a lot of speaking. But he even from bathrooms and so forth. You can see the point right? Can't use pronouns anymore to describe people based on whether they're male or female, so rather than cultivating immoral society and individual virtuous nece whether through faith education or socio -bility and building on the accumulated experience and wisdom of earlier generations. Utopianism breeds dishonesty. Not good character it encourages ideology. Not reason a rewards rashness not reflection. It attracts fanatics, not statesman. And it is transformative not Reforma tive. And as the world around him grows, increasingly unpredictable, and hostile the moral order of civil society phrase, and then unravels the individual may feel that his daily survival depends on abandoning his own moral nature and teaching including prudence sufferer strength and forethought he may become radicalized. Join the ranks of predators. Her become isolated and conniving hoping to avoid notice. He may become dispirited and detached resigned to a life of misery. He may defiantly stand his moral ground, which Casey company may become the predators. Prey in any event. The law of the jungle becomes the law of the land. As the civil society. Disintegrates? I won't read anymore, but this play more here in the first chapter of America topa. The explain what's taking place in Venezuela. "Live from the Matthews brothers studio. Eight four four or five hundred forty two forty two. So Bernie Sanders was on NPR today. And he said that he and the democrat party can win the White House in twenty twenty by explaining socialism. I think what we have to do, and I will be doing at the door. Better job may be an explaining what we mean by socialism. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, democratic socialism, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, obviously, my right wing credit colleagues here want to paint that as author Atari Anisim on communism and Venezuela, and that's nonsense. Said Sanders who has refused. The call for Venezuelan. Dictator nNcholas Maduro to resign. He insists that Americans can afford socialism because the wealthiest country in the history of the world. We could provide a decent standard of living for all about people. That's just the reality Topi and dreaming that is a reality healthcare for all can be done, and we can save money doing it. Okay. Okay. All right. So there was a great story in the Wall Street Journal over the weekend. From Caracas Venezuela. They always say great journalism. You. You show. You don't tell that means you personalize story. And you know, there isn't a lot of this nearly as much great journalism as they used to be because of many factors. But there still can be great journalism. And this is an example of some. Rationed bullets worthless. Money tough times for Venezuelan bugs, a profound economic crisis is not only hurting law biding citizens. But also leaves fewer opportunities for kidnappings and armed robberies. They're singing the blues in the underworld in Caracas from his hilltop slum. Overlooking this decaying capital Luis Martinez lamented that his once lucrative armed robbery and kidnapping for ransom. Businesses way down the spy Cajal bias bullets are too costly as a parts for his getaway car few victims carry US dollars, these days, the local boulevard is nearly worthless. There simply less money around the steel, I hate it. When I robbed somebody in their pockets are full of hyper inflated cash. A middle. What happened to the greenback's? We don't need. No, stinking bolivars. Being my draw. That's the that's the that's the word for gangster in Venezuela being my Lonrho, isn't what it used to be said, Mr Martinez twenty-six, sipping cheap rum under a streetlight with a partner. He pulled out a Glock semiautomatic from his fanny pack to a show that he was down to five bullets. I have to ration these. It's getting too hard to keep up. What kind of mal? Mahlon dot Mullen Milan. Dro- can you be if you only have five bullets we got more than five bullets here in the studio up. I guess I should say that. What we what if we? If we add Mr Martinez predicament highlights is surprising byproduct of Venezuela's. Crises violent crime is down in one of the more in the one of the world's most dangerous countries. But not all types of crimes are down nationwide. Blackouts in the past week amid a standoff between President Nicolas Maduro and the political opposition spread sparked fresh looting and chaos in the country. However. How much fun? Can you have looting a store where all the shelves are empty? You know, it it scarcely pace to leave your hovel to go out at night to loot a store that has no nothing in it. Homicides have fallen nineteen percent in the past two years. The number of kidnapping cases reported to Venezuela's investigative police dropped by a third during the period for two three away in two thousand eighteen the exodus of three point four million Venezuelans fleeing the economic calamity means fewer potential victims like the commuters and nighttime partygoers that Mr Martinez said he used to target. See here's the Steve. Here's another thing. You know, like if there's no electricity why go out to a nightclub. It's like you could just you could stay in the dark in your own house. I think bottle service still works when it's dark. You don't have any electric cars either. When when there's no power everyone's got their I pods on some Milan rose have joined the exodus in August police Perot. That's what I was just telling Maria about sentence five alleged members of a notorious Venezuelan crime syndicate to nine months in prison on drug trafficking robbery and weapons charges in Colombia and Brazil reports of crimes by Venezuelan of prompted acts of mob. Justice second seem birdie reading this story say see I told you there's a positive side to this to socialism crime is down. Up until a few years ago. A thorn in Caracas's upscale L, not oh district recorded as many as two kidnappings day, but they have recorded just two since the beginning of two thousand eighteen in the latest one Iran's the ransom payment was four hundred bucks. Four hundred bucks for kidnapping, a far cry from the tens of thousands of dollars that professional gangs used to demand before the economy collapsed. They another thing. That's happened is the. Whereas in the past the criminals priority was luxury goods, some Nike's a cellphone or a brand new t shirt now they're looking for food. So here's another change in the crime scene in Venezuela. Home invasions? You know here in a capitalist free society, home, invasion, usually involves you're looking for cash or jewels. Something like that. Nowadays when there's a home invasion in Venezuela. You know, the first place the the fog's go or can't be the refrigerator because that hasn't had power for like a month. Right. But there might be something at it. It is the refrigerator that's where they go. He said there's an uptick in home invasions to raid refrigerators. And they this is the criminologist who's down there in anthropology we call this the search for protein. This is completely new in Venezuela. Is this guy this guy Martine Louis Martinez partner is Carlos Rios hosts he re hosts he's twenty two last year. Mr. re host traded in his old getaway car for third bike, which he said he was hoping to use to bear down on victims to rob purses and cellphones. See there you go. This is the problem. You've got an uncertain economy here, which is causing problems for entrepreneurs who make investments in their future, graphs. But he and Mr. well, see me he and Mr Martinez. Ditch that idea fearing extra judicial retribution from police officials. See the judicial system is also broken down, the the oil refineries aren't pumping anything they're not letting in medical supplies relief food. Shipments from the US and other countries in Latin America there everything is broken down, including the judicial system. So the cops are just randomly shooting criminals that when they find him the cops are setting up random checkpoints at night and slums often wearing black masks and toting shotguns in recent months. Mr Martinez has resorted to selling shots of coffee on the street while his fellow gangster Mr. row hospice, his days working in an auto body. Shop. The two recently reminisced about weekend block parties in the in the good old days of capitalism. Win liquor flowed until dawn and drunken resident celebrated by firing their guns in the air such we had so much ammunition fire guns into the air. I I've only got five bullets left Amiga. I don't wedding those. We used to go through two hundred rounds of my boy, the munition it flowed over the shelves such entertainment is a distant memory now in the socialist utopia with bullets on the black market selling for nearly one dollar a piece in the country where most people make under ten dollars a month. Mr Martinez was laid off from his job as a mechanic. He that that was his fallback position for being a being an armed robber. I'm just imagining a standoff where a guy takes the gun, and he's trying to rob me. Look, look Hombre. I know you're not gonna shoot me. Those bullets are worth too much come on. I don't have enough money on me. Hey, you for those bullets, but how many movies have you seen where capos as long as there's no more than? Two or three. Have. I yet me there's any more than five I'm coming out with my hands up. In august. The is fallback job was he was a mechanic. But he lost that he lost that job after the government decreed a six thousand percent increase in the minimum wage that seems like a lot of that seems like a big increase in the minimum wage, but you must remember that the inflation rate last year in Venezuela was running at one million percent. So it scarcely was keeping up with the rate of inflation that put many shops out of business the whole experience the gangster the mall Molla, Donna has said has left him disillusioned. So there's are lesson. That's our first lesson in socialism for Bernie Sanders. Supporters nor Mondo you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead. No bond. Well, yeah. Well, it's not it's not Spanish day anyway from California by way of west. Here's the thing if bullets got gas in this country would Nancy Pelosi. Normal. Please please I got to cut you off for saying that you can call back later. But that we couldn't let you go through that. Where can we find that article on Venezuela? It's behind a paywall. Unfortunately, it's it was in the Wall Street Journal over the weekend. But if you can if you can somehow find it if you can get around the pay wall, the headline is rationed bullets com. A worthless. Money colon tough times for Venezuelan fogs. It's it's the best story. I've read all year, if if they gave a Pulitzer prize for real reporting this been the varsity blue story, though, it's the best individual individually, it's not the best like larger story. But I mean, it's for for humor. It's just a it's just a really good well reported story eight four if I if if if they gave if they gave a Pulitzer for spot news reporting for real spot news reporting as opposed to concocted, Donald. Trump fake news. This would this would be in the running. Jim you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead. Jim. I how how are you? Good. I want to explain to you. What's wrong with these people post modernist status and the education system slash indoctrination system. Basically has taught them that. There is nothing right or wrong. It's only what they determined based on how they feel now this is going to change until we take back the education system, Howie. I think you're probably right, Jim. But I it's. That seems like such an intractable problem at this point. I mean, given the the iron fisted control that the that the unions, and the the hippies from the sixties and seventies seemed to have on the whole education system from K through twelve all the way up through college and post grad, isn't it?.

"But just to put them in too big group of diseases that would be practical for pet owners to understand is Caesar's either could have an underlying cause and that underlying cause could be many different things, you know, from brain disease to diseases out of the brain which in a couple of minutes. We're gonna you know mentioned solve the more common ones or be what's called an idiopathic epilepsy. Any paddock epilepsy means, you know, s seizure of unknown origin, which is genetic and origin. You know? So there is no structural abnormality. With the brain what it is. It's an abnormal chemical activity or electrical activity of the brain and with idiot paddock epilepsy. What happens is you don't have an underlying disease to tweets after pet needs treatment. It's gonna be symptomatic treatment of the seizures would anti-epileptic medications which. Fortunately in this day and age we have many different options. So we definitely try to establish a treatment plan that is appropriate for that dog based on the nature of the seizures. And what other conditions is going on with the dog. You know, at the end of the day, we have to take everything into concentration. How's the dogs bloodwork kidney values, Louis valleys, and so forth? The other, you know, conditions are when there's an underlying reason for the seizures. And when we divide them, we call them, either intra cranial meaning diseases that are happening in the brain. And those are the ones that are more straightforward people. At least understand better, you know, unfortunately with older pets, we see brain tumors strokes, we discussed at the start of this conversation and stuff elitest meningitis just turn for information or infection of the brain and many more conditions. So those are the conditions that directly affected. A brain. As a consequence of that, the pet could have seizures or other neurological conditions, but the other thing is extra cranial causes those are disease as out of the brain that the effective rain at you know, they could cause a seizure is one of the more common. Things would be what's called a portrait systemic shot, for example, like in small breed or Topi talks, but younger ones sometimes they could have an abnormal vessel that bypasses deliver. And as we know liver. You know has a job of filtering a lot of the byproducts in the brain. So if some of the abnormal by products, which are toxic to the brain do not get filtered and end up in the bloodstream, they could affect the brain. And cause seizures for example. It's called hypnotic and stuff LOP at the meeting seizure that comes from or brain disease that comes from liver problems. So that's one of the things we see low blood sugar, you know, regardless of the caused that could. Another reason for seizures and many more that could be the extra cranial or two diseases out of their print the call the seizure. So when we address she's your case, we kind of comprehensive workup, I we do a neurological exam on a dog and see ace unday examination. Do we see any hint of any abnormalities where the brain, and if you see some abnormal neurological findings that's oftentimes indication that there might be a primate brain disease. Then the patient will need a full blood, work dot CBC chemistry and sometimes additional thyroid battle or you know, test of liver function. Oftentimes, this is done by the primary veterinarian, you know, their family veterinarian. I does the blood work. And then if the blood work is normal, they get referred to us for further case, and sometimes it's done by us. And then if everything is, you know under remarkable. And doesn't explain the seizure is the next step is to look for primary brain issues that's been the MRI to look for, you know, structural brain abnormalities or spinal tap, which looks for evidence and stuff flyers or meningitis is done and the combination of these tests and most cases allow us to either identify underlying reason for the seizure and treated to the best of our ability, which many of these conditions are quite treatable manageable. Or if we rule everything else out and everything is normal. That's you know, how we can objectively diagnosed idiopathic epilepsy idiopathic epilepsy for the most part is a diagnosis of exclusion. When we exclude all the other at finding out that people are oftentimes most concerned about their pets being in pain. And I've always said that seizures we can honestly say are not painful, let's say fall down hurt themselves at cetera. Because. We can talk to people who have seizures and say is the seizure process itself painful, and my response to people has always been seizures are not painful in my correct in that. Yes, you are so Caesar's oftentimes are not painful. I would stay probably more difficult for the people and household to see it. And it's could be quite devastating based on how people with seizures of people with epilepsy. They feel you know, definitely they could be essays before the seizure that the the patient or a patient or the pet could feel abnormal and for lack of better term could feel awkward or Spacey. But the actual seizure episode is not painful at for the great speaking right now with Dr alley gorgeous. He's a board certified veteran urologist and neurosurgeon and owner a bright tear veterinary hospital in Orange County, California..

"I know the Disney has seen with cocoa that there's huge money in that Latina, you know, leading market, and I think they're hoping to advantage of it not I think it's all business, but it is. Show business, and you know, we were talking about Byron Howard. And he is one of the directors as Topi, and they just announced that they are making a wind for topa and Shanghai Disney. Disneyland it when I first saw Zootopia, I was like, you know, sitting there in the theater, and they're giving, you know, she arrives. And that like monorail train thing. I was like, oh, this is totally going to be a land in one of the Disney parks. I predicted. It was going to be animal kingdom in the states. But now we're learning it's going to be in Shanghai HD. Would we know? Well, chirpy is as Topi after all and it's getting its first utopia themed land at Shanghai Disneyland. Like, you said at the theme resort and prudan Shanghai. As part of the second major expansion for the resort since it opened in two thousand sixteen and the reason that it's in Shanghai. Disneyland is probably because Toby with a mega hit in China. It went on to. Earn about two hundred thirty six million dollars at the country's box office, which was an all comers record for an animation film in Chinese theaters and has developed quite a pop of their following in China as well. So it's not a surprise that it's coming to Shanghai Disneyland. I although it would seem like the first option would be animal kingdom. But this also is not the first time that Disney has tested out attractions or open attractions in international Disney parks before moving it over to DisneyWorld or Disneyland for sure, and I think a lot of people are surprised because Zootopia isn't a franchise that thought was big enough to. I mean, this isn't just a ride it's its own land. And to me that signals that were probably going to get as Topi sequel at some point either sequel or TV series or something like, I don't think Disney would be investing a whole land. If it was just that movie, and you know, we're moving on. But. Let's move onto net flicks. They recently announced that they're increasing pricing. Chris what kind of fact, do they expect us to have on subscribers? So survey was done. And you know, it's we're putting up at this is just a survey of about a six hundred and seven random subscribers. So it's obviously, not every Netflix fusion. But based on this survey, they learned that at least twenty seven percent of the people surveyed said they're considering canceling because of this price increase and others said they would be happy to just pay less for Netflix with ads on it. So it it seems like some people are not very happy about this. How much is this price increase? Let's see it goes. So it bumped up considerably says they're playing now is nine dollars originally seven. So it's not it's not a small increase at the same time, Hulu as decreased their prices. I don't know like a two extra dollars and a quarter of the subscribers supposedly are thinking about quitting the service. I wanna like I mean, I don't consider myself a rich person, but pink two dollars more a month for what Netflix offers.

"But whatever people believe. All. Everyone saw the way they wanna see it. And and so I went to the police station that night, and what video came out, and we talked to the chief about going outside the talk to the protests went outside and talked to he went outside. And we went with him saying next to him. And while he's reading his statement there about hundred protests than it was at night. So you really couldn't see a lot of people because it will lights and someone cursed me they say he blank, the church, and I was like I my head just drugged up. Like how we how we get this. And then they said blankety blank the mouse. And it really bothered me. And then so that was Tuesday we went to I went to staff meeting the next day and staff we have black white Hispanic Asian Middle Eastern, all these different ethnic pastoral staff thirty passes in the room. So we got a discussion. I said, look we got we gotta talk about this. Because I got address this Sunday. I could easily say, hey, let's pray for the city. But you know, we just kind of go in deep a little bit. So. So we had a discussion I'm thinking we're we were divided in that room because they were an ex cop in that room. There was a pastor whose brother was working swat in the protests that week, and then they were African American guys. We've got to tell the kids how to respond with a cop SOPs. So we were all having this discussion in now in pastoral step. So that Sunday, I got. All these different points of team, right and nothing and these only thirty. Thousands. And so God gave me this vision of this table with five chairs and one share represented the police officer once represented the people who thought the shooting was justified which some did and the real another chair represented, the people who thought that shooting was unjustified. And then there was another chair that Representative devil said you gotta pick one or the other. And that's with gets divided. That's where paint comes from. You got to pick a side. And then the other chair said I have third option that was God's chair. And it's how the the big question that night was. So how do us each cheer Topi was? I thought it was brilliant. Well, I said I said some of you in here, we'll say his behind the my father was a cut my son's aqap. And now, my father arrested cops as so cups of human their incredible difficult job, but the human once you pick a side you by cultural standards can agree with the other side. So if you Republican you can't agree with the democrat, if you're democrat, you can't agree Republican, even if they have a great idea it used to be but not anymore. We're so polarized. So if you if you are someone who size with the police, you find yourself in a position where you always have to side with police and never look and never be able to accept that. Maybe sometimes they're wrong. If you side against a police, it's the same thing. And that's the problem with the culture. And so I still behind polices. Oh, I believe most police are great servants. And they do great job. And there's some who do make the stakes or and or Melissa then there's some people who believe that the shooting was justified you stood by have Asher. And you know what? I can't. Okay. I get it..

"Yeah. And I'm like you'll see one day. And one day. I'll be on a video game pot yet. Able show you, but I'm still struggling. Chalice? There is there's a thing with this. Because there's the famous Nintendo hard for video games were the games, you know, had to be so short because there is only so much memory the systems had it's so much on. So that the games were difficult. So that it would feel like you got your money's worth. And sometimes because they were arcade games. They want people to plug quarters in Disney came out with this thing that feels like it's Disney Nintendo heart, which is a step alone to heart, but they figured out. Exactly what is difficult but doable for eight year. And then they made a bunch of games at that level. Did you 'cause mega man? There was some games. Have were you punch in a code to get you to where like you left off? Right. You would you win codes. Yeah. You get through that. I can't remember if this game heads didn't have any none. It was underlined when I read up about this yet. Way to cheat this game. That's unless you had a game genie. Is it a game which one of my head? Yeah. My friend had that. And I was like so jealous of it. But it was fun to play games after that. Even just like, I don't have. I can't die. Just can't keep reading as much. Yeah. Exactly. But yeah. Because I remember like the coat thing happening. But with like Chippendale, it's weird that you say that because I guess I just knew how to beat the level. Yeah. And I just applied it to the next. It's kind of like a weird training for being like. Yeah. Failures good. Yeah. Exactly. Failing and failing. And then once you learn you apply it to the next time. And it's like, oh, that's how you get better point that Jesse are working out a big deal and. One point is like so Chippendales tomorrow and Jesse stared at me like what? And I was like the video game. He goes, oh my God. I thought Keith meant. So we're going to Nancy Chippendales smart. Right. And I was like, no we're not doing that. That's tuesday. Yeah. That's that's next week, man. Get it. Right. And I was like putting my bow tie on. I was like man, I did not get this dry-cleaned. Yeah. Well, you know, I try to be supportive and go see you guys whenever you. I good moves. Thanks, man. The hardest part is finding is finding the right soundtrack because people get real sick of twisted sister. After awhile, you would think they would. But where I'm from not enough. Did you ever replay this game after you'd because it was a brain system you replayed re? Oh, you mean recently now I mean like when you're a kid or kid. Oh, yeah. Because I owned it so became I never like sold. My games are traded them. I just own them. Yeah. Yeah. And I didn't have very many games. What's what did this Topi and passed down own them? I just they did what I want things to me with no free will eventually I gave them away to. I can't remember maybe some kids I knew or something I don't know or we gave it away to charity or something. Yeah. I was that was that hard. No..

"Going to do to your ceiling. I like ceiling Matt paint, you can just use dead flat. He'll do the same thing. But tell me about the colors in your home. Well, I kind liked the topi- colors that I've got some Topi with some green in it, you know, different rooms, I have different colors that it. Oh, I'm not sure what coloring paint this part of the house. Tell me tell me when you say Tope use the colors that you see when you see Tope. Do you see paying her pulse? You see beige DC, grey and beige. Yeah. I see grays and the one in the kitchen is green. But it is like Topi green. It's and then we've got. I don't know contrasting colors around the windows and stuff. But and then I use oranges in blue in there. Okay. So Tope, and and I certainly I just want to also say that I very much appreciate your call and your question. But I always try to remind myself gel that are not just feed you, but I am speaking to our listening audience and a lot of times, and I'm not suggesting this is you I am suggesting though that people should ask a few questions because oftentimes they're calling something Tope that is not. In fact, it is a great like a gray beige color, and it can have a green undertone. It can have a blue undertone yellow undertone, but Tope has a pink purple undertone. And that's what makes it. Atop and so often so that color can read pink pretty quickly, and it's difficult unless it's really more of a yellow Greyfield to work well with oranges. So that's but the green undertone sounds lovely. So your question to me is about the ceiling, and I wanna follow that up with perfect ceiling colors because I think this is a great topic. All right. "Post to her if she hadn't done, I don't know if I would have I told her told everybody within shouting range, it was like, look, I love marriage. So I propose to my ex wife. It didn't work out so good. Therefore what right? Do I have to? It felt like it's like what does it mean? For me to get on one knee and say, hey, you know, what? I go to feel in this one's I got it certainly to me there's an elephant in that room where it's like. Yeah. But what do you know? I you're the one guy in this exchange that doesn't know whether or not you should be proposing to someone you already did it. And it was always an open joke between Cody because she's she's like what if I ever proposed. You the day you propose to me you fucking automatic. Yes. And love you. I wanna be with you for the rest of my life. But that and that's sort of what all couples are in a sense. Like, it's not like, hopefully, there's not a lot of couples where someone's like, by the way. Shitter get off the pot. It's a good we perceive it that way. But the truth is that you're like you. It's more of a continuum. And so that's why like I said, of course, I said, yes. Because of course, the answer's yes. And then for the next two days unbeknownst to Cody I was sort of like in my head. It was like. Why do I feel an easy and the answer is because this wasn't? I didn't. I I'm missing the way. You miss your wallet? Or your keys. I missing my agency. I it's not like this isn't what I wanted. It's just that. I didn't. I'm like I've been shocked like cord of like something that doesn't protect me. Anyway, it doesn't matter didn't want it. But it was like it's gone. I didn't it was at even knowing wanted it. And then I started thinking my head. It was like why don't you run through some exercises? Like like, what's your worst nightmare is like, okay. Well, I am I've been taken. So it's my job to serve this woman for the rest of my life. And that actually kind of made me start like I was sort of like like I was thinking in my head. It was like what if you were like property what if you had been taken what if you had no agency. What if somebody had looked at you and said, I want that. And you're like, okay. I'll okay, I'll let you take that. And like, I don't want you to leave me. So I guess I'd better be on my toes from now on as opposed to this other. I wonder if any woman here could relate to that feeling. That's my point is I was sort of like in doses of sort of lake subjecting myself, and the and the more I pushed the weirdest Topi narrative where it was like what if you actually were just a slave. What if you were a servant what what is your nightmare? What is the worst thing? What do we fear about? What are these symbols? Represent ring on your finger like ring on my finger doing this. I take that. My father pays for this. You've I you gives you away. What transactional stuff and then like like thinking about like, my part of it and going like what if I was like a damsel? What if I I it came out? I liked it. I was like oh like like. Yeah. Get get like, this is the good side of the equality thing. Like, yeah. Fucking. I don't wanna I don't wanna deal with this shit like doesn't every guy want like installs like aren't insults. Complaining about like, don't like the like how women are just giving me sex. Like, what do you think they'd be happy? If like we lived in a world where women could like walk up to them and you in so. Shoes you? Cheekbones? Can you make breakfast?.

And even about Danny age leave how six out of it. You know, sports and entertainment are just that sports and entertainment people go to watch phenomenal athletes and great artists. Do their crap.
