"Fame. Boiler slash titans and Washington. Pro Football Hall of Famer. NFL 100. And years as a guidance counselor of the Houston area. Could you imagine your guidance counselor is one of the greatest football players ever to live? Pretty cool. Versus mine. Who was just sub crotchety old guy that told me Don't apply to that school, you'll never get in, dude. Thanks, Mr Sherman. It's really nice of you. Don't think I ever sought guidance counselor, which would explain a lot. You never actually had to go toe one just to talk about where to apply your how you're Well, I guess you didn't take the s A T and didn't apply anywhere. So I mean, that's what I'm saying. I'm not. I really I'm not trying hard for this and make a mockery of my past year, but sure, I know we were assigned guidance counselors, but I really actually looking back. I other don't remember. Or I might have just blatantly blown off any meetings with guidance counselors, which would explain not taking the s A T s and not a pie applying to any college until last week of graduation. And what would the story behind you finally applying? Like somebody said you have to apply to a school like right now? Yeah, well, I had Not a punch room. I had applied to Duke. I'd apply the stony Brook and I got her checked it. So I wasn't in anywhere. And it was Danielle, who was in high school with me who said, Well, where you gonna show? I said I'll probably just go toe suffered. Community college is a community college and she said, Well, did you get in yet? I I didn't know I had to apply. I thought they just took us like high school. I This is terrible. In hindsight, it was a ridiculous is. I thought I literally could show up at the school. Just ask them for a schedule and I could just go. Yeah, I didn't know I had to fill out the paperwork. Yep. You show up first day of school. You go to a college campus and ask where the Where the home room is where? Where's the front desk? You go up here like I'm here for school today. Okay. What classes are you enrolled in? I don't know. You tell May Okay. Well, I'm here. Teach away. We don't really have a way. Don't have your information, sir. I really think I'm an open book works like that. I did It actually cost money as well. They have a check on your just gonna pay cash. Yeah, I know. I think they run through the pricing and everything once they chose to classes with you, and then you take out your wad of twenties from subway that day. Just pay for first semester that way. These smell like weird tuna. Clearly I didn't have guidance. There's no doubt about it from anyone over taking this 1 to 1 and a cookie. That come with a free Coke. So Tony Romo yesterday said, I think that this Super Bowl is a legacy game. This is going to be one of the great matchups in sports history. This is what you talk about with your friends. Could you imagine if Michael Jordan got to the NBA finals against LeBron who's becoming the face of the league? We're getting that in this Super Bowl. It's like Jack Nicolas against Tiger Woods. There's nothing else I could find. The fact that my homes is somehow in this discussion shows you how amazing this guy is. There's a chance for Patrick to homes playing this game to climb the ladder. If Mahomes wins, he keeps that door open That's Tony Roma yesterday. I think that's blowing things out of proportion. Okay, Here's what I would agree with. Could we look back and view this as a changing of the guard off the former great quarterback of the league to the current Sure. Tom Brady losing this game to Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes having two rings Brady not making another championship game in the next year or two that he plays. Certainly we could look back and say you see, that was kind of a veritable passing of the torch could happen. Certainly. Yes. Down the road of Patrick Mahomes Get to This incredible stratosphere. It could be like Michael versus Kobe, NBA Finals or Michael versus LeBron. But at this moment, the legacies actually right now won't change In this moment they won't change. If Tom Brady loses this game next Sunday, he doesn't get knocked off of his platform. Wherever you put him most make him the greatest quarterback of all time. Almost everybody considers him the greatest winner in NFL history. Some people consider him the greatest player in NFL history if he loses next week. None of that gets taken away. Could only add to it. But how much can you add to being the greatest? You're already number one. Like next week doesn't change people's minds about whether he's better than Joe Montana or Jim Brown or Lawrence Taylor. He's already at the top of all of those lists for most people. And if he's not another ring probably doesn't change much. As for my homes, so much of his career is still out there. He's only been starting in the NFL for three seasons. He's only been a starting quarterback for three years. If he loses next Sunday. Already is one and one. A week. Does anybody believe he won't get back? If he wins, He's got two and certainly you put him in this kind of rarefied air with some of the greats. But you're also not saying that he's got to win this to be Brady. He could lose this and still be one of the greatest of all time, obviously, so I think there's some hyperbole here. Is it awesome that one of the greats ever is playing a future? Great in a Super Bowl? Absolutely. Is it? One of the most intriguing quarterback matchups in Super Bowl history? Absolutely. One day down the road. Could we look at this is well, remember that clash and look with this meant for the end of Brady's career, the beginning of the homes career? Yes. But if it doesn't go the predictable way that lineage should the homes gets through. Brady wins this. It's Brady's final chance of the Super Bowl. The torch is passed because the other way and Brady wins in the homes loses. Is that, like Suddenly, legacies are defined there. It doesn't mean that suddenly anything changes really. So that putting that, on top of this happens a lot. And it's not surprising that Tony Romo's speaks hyperbole because Valley's Tony rubble Standing by with our headlines is Andrew Bogus. Although I guess morass hasn't addendum on the Suffolk County Community College story here. No, I mean that was just more for the G chat. But just I will tell you that something community college of all the things I learned it was the first time I learned that there were two different types of honey mustard. Here's the spicy and sweet. I was only aware of the spicy prior to going to community college. Then when I started getting chicken fingers there, I learned that there was sweet and I never liked spicy honey mustard My life has altered it to this day. I still buy sweet honey mustard in my own refrigerator and that'll change the moment I stepped foot on that campus. Wait. Don't you mean spicy mustard? There's a spicy honey mustard. Yes, there is. It's more instead of just like the straight yellow. It's more has like some of that brown fragments in it. Or maybe a little Browner. There is two different types of honey mustard. Bogus. There is Mac and Barry. I thought your mother was its own thing. And there is spicy yellow mustard and yellow mustard. There's variations you're all hooked is a sweet yellow and there's like stuff with like the grainy mustard the stuff within honey mustard. Mac and Bear tweets more as how do you remember this stuff from all of these years ago? Not only do you identify your college experience, primarily through learning about spicy honey.

"Ground zero For the attempts by liberals to gain control of American society has been the public schools. This is not new. People are wondering how the millennials turned out to be the way that they were. And the answer is, is that they went to these reeducation camps. But I mean, they want to put Castro schools to shame. They cranked out liberals by shoving an ideology down their throat and telling kids that they had to think a certain way and In many instances, they did a terrible job of teaching subjects like science, American history, World history. And so on. Where You have a lot of people that are simply ignorant of our history. But they end up with some of these attitudes and values because We frankly have allowed public education and a some stance private education to be hijacked by very unprofessional people who get into these classrooms. And decide that they're going to shove ideology down throat that they believe that that's what school's therefore not to teach. This is often tolerated by school superintendents to themselves and liberals. And as I pointed out many times in most communities, the school boards tend to be fire more liberal than the communities is the hole that says a lot to do with the fact That liberals tend to run for school boards and secondly, The teachers. Unions tend to put in a lot of effort and resources and, in some cases, money endorsing the candidates. That support them. So let's go to Burlington, which is a rare rather conservative community. Western. Racine County known for a lot of things, including Tony rubble. Relented. Should not be thought of is this lefty is, say Racine Unified School District. It's not Couple of weeks ago. A teacher in the Burlington school district was caught using unauthorized curriculum in her class. She was taking material state straight out of a black lives matter. Pamphlet. No, we always have to distinguish, And it's part of the reason Black lives matter deserves some credit for being smart enough to choose a name that sounds like something everyone says would support to cover for an ideology that is Marxist. Anti American. And often supportive of rebellion. Black lives matter has put out pamphlets and materials and instructional stuff that Presents. They're very, very biased Worldview. And their view of the United States. One of the teachers in Burlington. Took some black lives matter material and simply presented to the kids as education. Violation of the rules. You're not allowed in that school. This chick just grabbed whatever crap you want and pass it off and say you're going to teach the kids whatever ideology you feel like teaching them. So some parents complained. And initially, the school superintendent. Apologised and pointed out that we're going to address this. And no, You can't just go off on your own presenting this sort of stuff. Particularly in a community where I think the majority of people do not agree with the radical anti American views of black lives matter. Some of the residents said. That's not good enough. We want this teacher fired. No, actually trying to fire a public school teacher is like trying to climb Mount Everest walking backwards. It's very, very hard thing to do, but they wanted to show up at a school board meeting and demand the firing of this teacher so that these teachers realize they can't keep getting away with this crap. At least not in a community like Burlington That's going to have some standards. Well, the black lives matter Organization in Milwaukee found out about this. And they sent protesters into Burlington the night of the school board meeting, and there've been threat. Some of them are on social media. Some of them are spoken. That anybody who supports firing this teacher is going to have protesters at their houses. A group has formed in Burlington. Calling itself the Burlington Coalition to dismantle racism. Otherwise notice be cdr. It's got the same agenda that you see from a lot of these groups like this in which they claim that they wanted this man of racism. But when you see what their actual mechanism is, it becomes all the normal talking points out of radical America. So that group fired back and defense of the schoolteacher who put the curriculum out there and the people that were demanding that something be done about this. This was turned on them, and they were accused of being racist. So rather than Burlington, firing the schoolteacher. They've ended up apologizing for giving them any crap. It all they had. Other words took a total dive. Burlington do not get to the point of actual violent protests of the city. But there were some of these that were threatened. Burlington's not that far from Kenosha. Some of the members of the community were obviously afraid that they'd burn Burlington to the ground. As they said it would be interested to see what happened when you got something like this to a correct conservative community, and so far the indication in Burlington is going to be that they're simply going to cave in, again and again and again and again and again, And as I've been saying, it's not going to stop with this. So what happened is The leadership of the community of Burlington, including the police chief. Has decided to put out a statement filled with cold words in which they try to make it clear. That they're not part of any of this attempt to get rid of teachers who abusing their positions. And so I'm going to read this to you. The Burlington area school district superintendent and board, along with the chief of police reject all forms of racism, discrimination and harassment of students, family staff members and our visitors in school or within the community. I guess that's a reference that you're not supposed to criticize a teacher who is unprofessional that that would be considered harassment it continues. Such behaviour will be treated as being destructive to the district and the police Department's mission vision values and goals, sadistic pledges and is committed to providing a physically and.

"Expected from three to four fourteen. I expect the Yankees to win almost every time. They go out but listening they've been playing well with half the team on the injured list. And if you're a Yankee fan right now, I don't think you could play that much with the way they won Tuesday night's game. All right. You're not gonna win every game. And you know, what he's still put us. Follow your faith as a good comeback. Okay. The guy beat by and its overall. It's good series. It's been a good. We have and for the Mets. Listen to Mets made a decision to send Dom Smith down keep Todd Frazier and the biggest spot of the game was second and third to ads. They have to send Todd Frazier up against a righty, and what is Frazier. Do. He strikes out because he's one of the worst players in baseball while he's in Syracuse. Great listen, the Mets the Mets never put the best twenty five men on their roster. And that's that's why they are losing franchise. Yep. One of the many reasons why they are losing friends. Do you think when they bring up Larry, they cut Fraser, I hope? So I mean, I don't know how you justify anything else. Yeah. Yeah. Seriously, at this point what other are you going to send JD Davis Syracuse? No. So now, you're gonna have Frazier up while Davis Ed Smith or in AAA and Brockton and Frazier still on the roster. I mean, that's that's embarrassing. Both of those guys and bring back down Dominic Smith. Oh, yeah. Or bring your calls Gomez is hot bring him. Maybe catch lightning in a bottle for two weeks. Something happens. I mean, you're a team that's about to fall out of it. Again. It's early may. We haven't even hit mother's day yet do something. No. Somebody else's just thinking about. What do you do with phrase if you keep them on the on the the Rossi's it'll be a pinch hitter? Now, don't need it. Listen that might have been the role for him if you were getting production from anywhere else. But Davis is better. Smith is better. Todd frazier. You watch his at bats. They guys not contributing anything to a major league team more. Sorry. It's over and what's Lagarde's is to for twenty one or something like that. He's in a slump too slim there. Well, yeah. Because you know, what they're mostly a collection of bad baseball players when you don't go and pay and get great players, and you just settle for guys who were okay? This is what I mean. This has been the Mets MO for a decade now. He's. Other than four and a half months of good baseball in two thousand fifteen in two thousand sixteen when cesspit is carried him on his back. Right. And the Mets are bad baseball team. When they're obsessed with is slowing down his we having see I don't buy that. Everybody. Three thousand six sixteen. The Mets were pretty much out of it. We all thought they were dead there under five hundred what happened cesspit as comes back. The team goes on an unreal run. And they make the wildcard game. That's because of your citizen for all people saying, you know, what he's a dog. He's not coming back if the Mets aren't in it he proved he proved that wrong before. Now, I just wanted to come back as fast as you can. But you know, we don't they don't give you much highly doing what they do. And listen, that's the team that could be his doctors. It's it's kind of an unprecedented surgery. They don't really know exactly. What's going on with him? But again, remember the problem with cesspool this is when separatists went to Terry Collins and sandy Alderson said, hey, I'm hurt. They said our team is so bad that we can't afford to not have you in the lineup. Keep going out there. What happened? It got a lot worse. Yeah. Well, hopefully, Kevin Durant. Okay. Because if he doesn't come to the Knicks. I mean, who what is the New York sports is the Yankees. And maybe the jets in a year. Yeah. I'm not, you know, they don't get Williamson waves bring in Durant. But if they don't get Williamson, I don't have to get the rant. And I still I still think he's coming here. I just I don't know. Why maybe I think he is especially if they get Zion Williamson, I dunno. It just seems like there's so much smoke there. And I agree with all the people that say, well, why should he come here? They're not wrong. But a lot of people make decisions for reasons that we don't agree with. And it seems like Kevin Durant wants to come to New York wants to come to the Knicks. And listen, if he does it's going to be the same reason that I don't crush Carmelo Anthony. Even a Marsh Statham are to a lesser extent. We always complain. Oh, you should want New York. You should want to come here. And you know, forget all the guys we hate all the guys who don't wanna come here does want to come here. And he's willing to at least take on the challenge. Then I'm going to give him a shot because. Nobody for the last twenty years has wanted anything to do with the Knicks now, and they're right because the Knicks were a train wreck. But if Durant willing to take a shot, hopefully, he comes just after tonight. I mean, how could you walk high rehearsing to be the gun with or without Durant? How could you on? I don't want to take the we're gonna take one of the two thousand pusses I'll take take Jimmy Butler. I wouldn't even I wouldn't touch him mean be if they I mean, it's a crazy also think that the lottery is a couple of days away. We'll know in less than a week. And if you get him Durant, I be very happy with Kemba Walker being that second guy. I I read something about him a while ago that that he really likes being in Carolina. And he said if you come to New York, even though he's great at the guard. He has to do it a lot of family, and you know, the the hassles of tickets and all that kind of stuff. So I don't know. We'll see. But hey, he would be know. We know he lives in the garden. He could play there. That's for. Sure. That's sure. And that could be you know, what could be the thing that sways him. All right. I have a chance to play with Zion. Williamson. All right. You have a chance to play with Zion and Durant or even you know, that's that's the kind of thing that could maybe push a player over the edge where he's kind of teetering. But that's that's too hard to pass up because as much as he likes being in Charlotte in that area. You realize is this team actually gonna win anything? That's that's a good point eight seven seven three seven sixty six sixty six thousand dollars anytime anywhere. Download radio dot com app favorites today. The Mets won a championship. You know? It's like watching Boston. These days. Seems like every sport up their win something.
