"Stupid little pencil behind his ear. That's the thing like I watch a team like that. And First. I'm really glad that Bill O'Brien's not coaching the Texans anymore. And it's the one time where you go. Okay, There's a least one team that's jealous of my team. Because at least there's hope. At least we are operating with a head coaching vacancy. Not that guy is our head coach. The other thing that happened during the game yesterday. And this is during the Texans in Lions game has nothing to do with either of the two teams. Is that Jim Nansen? Tony Roma were doing the game and I enjoyed Jim Nansen, Tony Roma. I know that there's a lot of people have criticized him. Nansen, Tony Roma Roma, especially I think the criticism of Rome Oh nowadays is that he was amazing when he burst on the scene. But it I think there's a feeling he kind of phones it in a little bit now, like he doesn't totally immerse himself. In watching the teams that he's gonna be covering, to be fair to Tony Rome owe on yesterday's game, at least and I don't get to watch enough of them on Sundays because I'm busy. But I'm busy working. But to be fair to Tony Rome. Oh, honestly, like if you were a national announcer that's on the number one crew. Why would you watch the Texans or the Lions, especially the Lions? He works for CBS. That's the FC network. But if somebody who watches every snap of Texans football, I can't really say I blame Tony Rome. Oh, for not doing the Nestea plunge into some Texans film. So, But here was the moment then this is again has nothing to do with either of the two teams. It's Thanksgiving. So this is what happens on Thanksgiving broadcast. When the game starts to get out of hand, it turns into talk of Thanksgiving. What are you thankful for? What's on your plate? What's your meal I talked to so And so And this is what their favorite meal is it Thanksgiving like all the radio and TV stuff, And I'm probably guilty of it, too. I'm not. I'm not saying that to throw shade. However, Jim Nance strikes me as a really, really smart person on Lee 61 years old and I'm not saying he looks old. He looks young. But usually in this business this business like I'm in gym, Nancy's business, usually in the business of being a TV play by play person, especially the higher the profile you have you usually like 15 years older than how you actually look. He looks 61. Dude's actually 61. I couldn't believe that Go figure. Um, but Jim Nance had this to say yesterday real quick just to set this up there talking about JJ Watt, who had a pick six yesterday. Shout out to J. J. What Um yeah, Pick six. Later on in the game. He was talking about a conversation. Jim Nance did. He was talking about a conversation you had with JJ. What about Thanksgiving at the White House, growing up with his brother's TJ and Derek and here's how that went. He and his brothers, they.

"Beat 1079 68. And Cal blew out Northwest University, 86 to 61 in the NFL. The Houston Texans drew up a play in the dirt in the fourth quarter, and they were up 34 17 on Detroit. They made a stop on 1/4 and one got the ball back. One play. Later, the running back took the ball ran right, then threw it back to the Shawn Watson, who tossed it down the field. Johnson tosses it back and wide open his bowler. Touchdown. Are you kidding? I mean, this'll is unbelievable. Just silencing the fancy here. But this is outstanding Play calling you nobody plays or run like this right now Out in the backyards of America On Thanksgiving Day, this'd sandlot play. It looked like Jim Nansen Tony Rome owe on CBS. Fuller had six catches 171 yards TD receptions of 40 and 34 yards on back to back plays in the fourth quarter. The Texans Wynant 41. 25. Then How about Washington blowing out Dallas 41 to 16 Washington, Now four in seven Dallas falls to three and eight. "So now suddenly Tony Rome. Oh, is getting paid a lot of money, And he now looks like Kirk cousins because cousins was the guy that signed the contract. That all the rest of the NFL teams were pissed off about because they said, Great Now my middle of the road quarterback is gonna want $30 million a year because the Vikings gave Kirk cousins 28 million. You know, CBS is we got to keep Tony Rome. Oh, so let's give. Do we give Tony Romo's 17 million Now? Here's gymnast. I want Rome owe money. The guy works a lot. You can say you're paying this guy Did I do the same exact thing he does? I do the Met. I do all you gotta pay me more money. Now. All these broad now they all want Roman money. Tony Rome. Oh, is the Kirk cousins of broadcasters all because of what's going on? You can see it in this insidious game that gets played between play by play guys and networks. It's so much fun to look at from afar limit. Let me throw this out here. Uh, Look, I remember Jim Nance calling games. Well, I know Joe Buck fan of his work. We watch games with no sound on most the time. I'm just calling it what it is. My my professional life is as lead beat you an awful lot of games where I'm not hearing the commentary. And then when I did Hopping on the roam o Karnak thing. It bugged me. I'm trying to play that chess game in my head to prove that I know something about what's going on. You're trying out Roma Rome. Oh, no. No, but the idea of all right? I'm watching. You know the formations. I'm watching defensive alignments, You know, and we play that a little bit and I certainly lean on LeVar on Sundays. All right, walk me through this, and I'll bring up the video or You know, Rich Hornberger Sunday mornings as the early games are going like, Hey, come here every wellness and found this clip here. Take me through this and and I wanted, you know, learn. And and Roma doing the work for me and look, man, you got to do your own math homework, Just like in school. But the other thing for Jim Nance and so like, like, I don't know the man I've never met the man. Could be the greatest guy in the world. In the end. Ask for what you think you're worth, but be ready for no. And if this power play of keeping Rome Oh, sidelined for fear of maybe someone being Good enough or better than what you've been putting out there. Well, that's the risk you take by having multiple jobs. So you don't like it? It got to the fall. This is a one time deal, right? But you you basically have now shown where you're at in the overall stance, Because in theory, we don't have the masters in the fall again. Yes. So it doesn't? Yeah, probably got again. But you never knows. But what you never can tell, But, you know, you know, in a one off, you kind of showed. Well, you showed your ass here. Bad, bad move by him. Twitter at How about a Fresca? "2020 Give us your thoughts. Text line is open. James Weismann would have Weissman Isn't there Are you completely against A ball brother on the Warriors. Anthony Edwards is a guy who wanted to trade back. There's been thoughts window. Carter Jr. Chicago. There's been talk of mental Robinson, eight with the Knicks 14 Marcus smart with the Celtics, but they'd have to move back. What would best benefit the Warriors? Real quick palate cleanser. According to reports. Jim Nance, Hello friends is seeking Tony Rome owe money for his next contract with CBS. His agent, said that in the last 30 years, Jim Nancy become the face and voice of CBS Sports and network has become synonymous with his voice and leadership. Bah bah, blah blah So he wants Tony Rome owe money. Well, he works a lot more than Tony Rome. Sure he does the same amount of Football games. Obviously. And then he does the Masters and all. He's the noise, the voice of their golf coverage. And he does the NC double a tournament so he wouldn't be paid. He's not asking to be paid as much per event. He's asking to be paid as much. Annually because he works way more events. How many? How many games is Tony Romo deal? The years they have the Super Bowl. May do one or two preseason games 17 plus three or four more. We added up in the twenties, you know he works a lot harder, so I'm sure he's not asking for You know Tony Rome. Oh, makes damn near a million dollars a game. That's unbelievable. No, he's not asking to get a million of the vent, but he's asking to get what is Tony make $18 Million. I mean, Jim Nance says if Tony Romo's the face of their Football coverage. Then Tony Romo's the face of the net. Are Jim answer the face of the network without question, So I don't think that's unreasonable. But that's what happens when you Below a salary structure way out of whack where you're paying, you know, one guy way more money than anybody's ever made. Then you know everybody else. It's like you on this show. You make so much money that I wanted. I just give me give me $1 less than what John makes. I don't need to make as much but give me like a dollar less. I want the Bill Russell Wilt Chamberlain deal by the way, with the trading So there was a trade made today in the end to Leon Rose of the Knickerbockers traded up in the draft, right? So you can't from what I think you could do. He went from 27 38 up to 23, so I think they will announce trades. Before the draft starts. And then once the draft starts Then I think it reverts back to Luca and Trey. Pending and see where you're even Vince and Antoine when Stanley made that trade They were made at the time and then the trades were made. A draft picks were made after I believe that's what happens, The question would be In Washington. Rosky works for ESPN who was on the you know, running the draft. Would they be allowed to? You know, Schefter monger? It just, you know, announced these trades. As somebody gets chosen, so you got wasn't around Ski and Shamsher Rania are the two main guys on Twitter that leak all the stuff out. Are they gonna wait until? Probably not so I think. Well, they just won't announce that the actual draft will happen. Where, you know, maybe Minnesota takes Wiseman. But they're going to trade him to Charlotte and then They go through that whole ridiculous exercise of putting the T Wolves cap on him for a minute to take a picture. That's You know, worthless except it's funny later. No. You get the picture of inch character in a warrior hat. He got one of those out there and then, you know? Whoa, Jin Shams come in and clarify it, But I think the way it works is you could make trades because they are trading in the next just did it today with Leon Rose. Our new head of basketball ops until the draft actually starts, and then I think you draft and if you want to trade on the clock, then you're not that trade later. I think that's how it works. And I was looking today at Donovan Mitchell had a nugget sat on Oops. Yeah, It was a pretty How many guys? Kawai Leonard, right. You went to Indiana, Danny for a little bit. You put a face your head track. Yeah. Happens all the time. You see guys, Dad, So anyway, there's there's not going on today. Other things a palate cleanser before we get to the NBA draft talk all the time. Matthew McConnell says he'd consider running for Texas governor. Would you vote for Makani? All right, All right. All right. I don't live in Texas. Chance. I don't think I get it. I'm just saying that would be kind of weird with it. McConnell. Maybe you remember who our governor was here in the state of California should do. Yeah, I'll be back. Thank you, Gray Davis. You're the one that got us. I'll be back. There you go. Yeah. What else we should leave. I think we should leave running for public office and you know, serving the community to people that have spent a lifetime of doing that would be my My turn. Whatever we're starting to learn. Robinson Cano has been Hey tested positive P E DS. He's has been suspended for the 2021 season. That just came out moments ago is the second time for him. Yeah. Yep. So, there you go. He hasn't Robinson Cano. Don't you know he's not going to the Hall of fame. Now, if you're not gonna take care of them are or the rocket can't take care. And I'll love he was gonna be a Hall of fame. It's twice he's tested positive. There you go. And oh, by the way, I wonder what people are doing. I'm curious. You can have some of the text line on this. We were gonna have a gathering for a Thanksgiving that's gone. So is everybody just canceling and then just having like their immediate Family at like three or four of you, and you're getting a tiny bird. Is that what people are doing? Or what? I don't like to lump everybody and everybody because everybody you I'd say you can do whatever you want, and so everybody, You know it's an individual thing. So you can take a poll from holders big poles and we can get the data. But you say you sound like somebody else and everybody thinks this way. No, we don't Obviously Anyway. Um, we're still trying to figure it out. My wife said to Max text out to the kids during the 40 Niners Saints game, so I haven't read it. But basically, it.

"That's my Thanksgiving. I want to stuff my face and not listen to anybody. But Jim Nansen, Tony Rome. Oh, that's my plan. Now I don't like my extended family. I like my nuclear family. I don't like my extended family, so I don't want to talk to that fighter. I'm just saying in the hypothetical world What would be nice is if I actually like that I would actually sit down and talk. And finally, here is Mike Tomlin as his undefeated stealers. Oh, they've got a tough one coming up. They're gonna trap game discussion. I understand That's things that you guys like to talk about. But this is the NFL and more than anything that guy's no my attitude regarding that. We're not a big 10 team playing a Mac opponent this week. But you might as well be because they're playing the one win Jaguars. So this is Ohio State, taking on accurate now in the NFL? It's likely to be close for a half. And look, the Jaguars kept a close against the Packers last weekend, so it wouldn't shock me of this thing is closed. Remember that the Steelers play close games oftentimes to play down their opponent? This has been a definite Definite signature of the Big Bend Mike Tomlin era questionable losses against lesser opponents, so it wouldn't shock me if this is a lot closer than you would think, in fact, save this tape. I think what? We're talking about this game on Monday. We're like Why What? Why the heck to the Jaguars hang around with the Steelers for so long. So this is Tom when trying to get ahead of the trap game mentality and wake his guys up because I'm sure they think We're going to absolutely pummel the one when Jaguars and they should But more than likely this is gonna be a one possession game for a lot of time. A lot of the game. But it is Ohio State playing accurate because if the Steelers played their absolute potential and the Jaguars with the same this is a three touchdown win by Pittsburgh. That is your sound check. Andrew, Bogus is our headlines this morning, Mr Bugs You come from a somewhat reputable family. What time you eat your Thanksgiving dinner? Definitely on the earlier son actually think this would be a good question for our audience? Because I think you and idea at least in my experience eat at the at the more popular time, then Sean does. Most of all I know have Thanksgiving dinner early, not at the normal. Dinner time like maybe not as early as three. Maybe, if more 44 30 on my end, but it's not six o'clock and not dinner. I'm not deserted nine PM, like Sean just said. No. One Thanksgiving. I think most people don't eat when it's dark, and I think they at least they start the dinner when it's light out and nowadays just getting dark right around five o'clock before 30, But I think this various d a said he sits out of three. But that's when the appetizers come out everything to me. I could live with a 44 30. I'm not gonna have definitely done it with Danielle's family, too. The bird can't be eaten before four o'clock under any circumstance. Otherwise, you're now having Thanksgiving lunch, not Thanksgiving Dinner. Okay, well, four o'clock Now were these air overlapping times here? So you would be okay if the bird comes out at 4 30. Yes. If the bird came out of 4 30, I live with that because at least we're going into old people of Florida dinner time. We've at least entered some kind of dinner stratosphere. My point is it's Thanksgiving dinner. You have to eat it at least a time. Human beings eat dinner, not lunch. Bugs Are you like the morass is where you just take your plate for the table and go right to the TV and just shove your face like a pig. No, because my family like I am the biggest sports fan in our group. So like I'm the only one that would actually want to get up and leave the table and go watch the game, and I really I can't be the only person that does that. So it's not, you know, Thanksgiving Christmas when there's MBA games on, I gotta figure out a way to eat on the quicker side. And then very politely sneak my way back to the couch. You know what This brings us back to Nancy, who We spent a lot of time morning, Nancy. We spent a lot of time with PGP yesterday, discussing why Nancy was so hot and bothered by both me and bogus and why she's really you know, she's she's hammering me a bogus and having the show and says, Why do I listen to the show every single morning, Nancy? I don't know. Frankly, I mean, I don't know why I listen to the show every single morning. I don't know why you have something else that you can actually do. But my question is, is Nancy. Okay? She is a mother of three. She is raised a good hearted family. She likes bonding. She likes relationship. She's like spending time with one another. Is she okay? Hosting a Thanksgiving where nobody actually sits around a table and talk to one another, but just gets their their food line tray like it's a cafeteria and goes and sits in front of the TV. Not obviously, people sit down the table. There are tables and people gather. It's a matter of Esther. You make different rules. Yeah, there's a couple of the break off because, you know, whatever the tape, you got to remember. My dad was one of seven kids. So whenever we gathered with my dad's side of the family, I mean, what do you have, like 35 40 people? There's no table big enough. So eventually becomes all right. 12 Eastern, on the table, the rest of your scatter when we get my mom's side of family grow up, Of course, we sat at tables and everything like that. But we usually time and set the table instead of using works wolves in the wired, but it would be known We time it out around halftime off, probably the cowboy occasionally right before the kickoff of the cowboy. Absolutely, but When you grow up with that many people on a Thanksgiving dinner. I'm sorry. Eventually different rules. Apply it. You know, if it was six of us, then maybe I would have grown up in a different era. Of course. First time I ever did Did everything else from was blown away? I'm the only one looking for a football game. Everybody sitting down at a table for three hours I went insane is this is not for me. We have to figure this out around. I'm doing something. Yeah, I understand different families, different areas, But when you grow up and you know you have a million cousins and your dad's want to seven, and those of the Thanksgiving's where eventually you're gonna lay with your ass down, watching a cowboy game, that's what's gonna happen. Oh, so Nancy can't be happy about this that because she would like to have everybody bonding around a dinner table, but my mom or shoulder my dad, sure, but my mom just gives up because she knows it's not worth certain fights. Hmm. Okay?.

"Don't get to do a game. You don't get your paycheck for this week because we're gonna put Tony Rome on your spot with your guy. You do games with every single your crew. All the producers like their crew. They go to every game together. They work together like I can understand that they wouldn't just throw Rome. Oh, into that. I agree. It's crazy that he gets a week off when he makes this kind of money, But I understand logistically why they probably didn't do it well. All right. So you're saying it's too much too upset? Yeah, it's these crews work together. And then you're also making another guy not get a game that he's supposed to get. How about this? How about this one? Whatever is the top CBS game three announcers. That's interesting. That's a demented China. Is that so hard threat? I think that makes more sense than like taking someone perfect. Perfect. I think you look ridiculous. I guess is I mean, she just does it really matter like, um I'm gonna watch more or less based on Tony Roma or someone else. I don't think so. I know. I mean, I don't think I will. Maybe there's some people out there that do find Just giving the guy the week off to me is Ridiculous means making 100 $80 million. There's only 20 of these weeks a year. I mean, there's 16 games in a couple of postseason games. That's it. Go home. Everybody tell you what I say. We'll see in 32 more weeks. Can't just a little bit disillusioned with Tony Rome owe his performance lately. I agree, John, not as good as you had been. I feel like He's trying to take it to the next level. I now it's bled over into like he's trying to predict what Jim Nance is about to read, you know, like, Oh, well, I'm about to say something, but you have to do the read for such and such, you know, it's weird. Here's what I would refer to him trying to be all knowing or something, and I think it's affecting the bottom line like I don't want to hear some of the stuff he's saying now, all right, so I haven't noticed that aspect. Although I Leave you? I would just say this. From my vantage point. I have found Roma this year. I'll give you one word. Annoying. Yeah. He's in Florida. I I feel the same way and I don't know if I would feel the same way if it wasn't Tony Roma, like if it were someone But I like room. I think Romo's a good dude what I did, and now he seems a little bit like no it Ali or something. I'll listen for that. Yeah, I just know that I would summon up as annoying and I think it's a really bad luck. Both for him and CBS. And in the first year of a 10 Year $180 million deal in the mid point of the season. He gets a week off. I just think it's bizarre charter. Cameron John Red. She will talk to Howard asking coming up next. His thoughts so well. How about Harding? For Simmons? But if Cam is back to being 100% healthy and can get the deep ball down, Ben said earlier that that had been kind of hurting Cam the last few years Well, if you if your ankles and back and neck and shoulder and everything are healthy again, maybe he's got some juice left in that arm. But that that's stat that Cam Newton and his career nine year career has just a CZ, many and rushing yards as a whole Patriots quarterbacks for the last four decades combined. Do you think if Cam gets this job that Belichick changes their offensive scheme altogether? Well, Bella tick changes their their scheme every week depends on who they're playing, sometimes separating throw it 50 times. And sometimes they would just, you know, be running the winky. So I think he is. He's so malleable. You know, the Patriots are aware that they could do you know a whole variety of things during this season on Yeah, I think that if Cam Newton winds up as a starter, and this team is really good It's not because he throws for 5000 yards. I think it's because they run the ball alive. And yet he's you know, sort of that goal line for him as a couple of years ago. Move. I think it's going to be fun, but I really do think it's going to be fun to see. Give me that Miami dolphins, So when they brought over the world way the fish will win. Wait. No. What was that? Because to is going to take over the world is that she said that everybody to attack about low, right? Is he starter day one in this fantasy world of your horse. You want to talk about getting healthy? Yeah, He's got to get healthy. First gave I'll tell you why I'm doing this show for my calendar so much easier just to say crazy things like when I'm saying it into the microphone. I feel there is some sort of accountability now, just like you know what I guess whatever Tony Rome coming out of retirement, and you don't have my eyes bulging out of my head or my face being like, What's the nonverbals? You're just there by yourself thinking everything you say is correct. Right? So one more thing was golf really good yesterday played 36 holes on proud Is that a way to go king of soda? It was on, oftentimes I didn't think I could do it. And I was I had a plenty of energy at the end. We only got 33 holes into started raining on us, but I didn't kill anybody That's going. Yeah, my erratic, erratic driving, So I was feeling good about Jayson. More MLB players. They're saying they're not going to play. We're going to talk about that coming up. We miss you. We love you, Jason. Dick Sports talk coming back at you. Probably. Maybe we'll go. Goodbye..

"So there's this is our story from the guy who was allegedly all this debt and found a way to scrape together. Eighty some thousand dollars eighty six thousand dollars put it on Tiger Woods and win over a million dollars, which is a hell of a pay up. And the story went from something really cool like really feel good to now really difficult and uncomfortable. When this guy's history has been uncovered it was a press conference. If you're listening to push the odds on Tuesday with Matt parole. You heard the audio you heard this guy talking James duty will let you hear. From him coming up at a couple of minutes before that the thing with Russell Wilson. This broke at the end of our show Tuesday night, technically, I guess Tuesday morning, if you will and we had a couple of minutes to kind of recap and react to it was mainly that creepy as video that he put out next to his wife now when you look at the record setting contract that he had on the self imposed deadline knowing that it's going to be a clips by the next player. What's interesting here is he's not going to be the last guy, but this was a conscious decision made by the Seattle Seahawks. Ten not take advantage of being in the best position. You can be in professional sports. And that's having talent true talents at the quarterback position under a rookie deal. If you can build a team of mercenaries, consign guys. And as soon as you find out the earlier, the better that you identify that you have some. Serious talent at the quarterback position that you want to remain in that really sweet spot. But as we've seen countless times skies gay paid Matthew Stafford Tony Rome guys get paid that maybe aren't as deserving as what you would think of top dollar. That's why people in other sports weighing like man, which I could play football which could be that bad sports stats. I should say then put up there on a tweet, which I do this and throw these many picks and get a record setting contract. It's supply and demand a truly is supply and demand. But that shifts to just because you have a good that you're supplying at a high rate because the demand is high doesn't mean that it's going to be that way until the time that could stand some test of five ten fifteen twenty one hundred years things changed the market fluctuates. And I think what you're going to see is a team. That's not as dependent on. Russell Wilson quarterback. Make a decision. They're going to draw a line and say, all right. Is it quote is it coach as it system? Is it something that we've established already with key skill set players that don't play the quarterback spot? Or is it we have to resign this guy because he so dangerous and integral to our team success. And I think the Russell Wilson contract speaks way. More to how good of an individual talent. Russell wilson. Seriously. This guy alone can win football games. Now. It's difficult to win games in the playoffs. It's difficult to win a Super Bowl this way. This is not a sustainable plan of success weaken weak out. It's really the only sustainable plan that you have is you're gonna get somebody hurt. But this man has been able to come in and influence and impact games for the Seahawks. Despite the people that he's. Working with despite his co workers, you don't have some amazing offensive line. You don't have three or four incredible pass catchers that he's throwing the football to you barely have a running game. At this point you really and yet. Instead of looking at that as an opportunity to really rebuild truly take two steps back to take five Ford. And you know, what maybe they would have been blamed out in Seattle. Maybe they would have caught a lot of heat initially in Seattle for trading away, a guy who has the face of this team has done in sacrifice so much, but they would have gotten a hall, and if they were truly trade him you look at the team in the position that they're in moving forward. Now, they can spend a ton of money and also take advantage of draft picks. You shouldn't be in the basement long. I know that division is tough. But you shouldn't take two steps back and be in that position for a long time. See that's the true fear. Isn't it whenever you take a step or two back in you tank or you set yourself up where you clear cap space, and you can spend more and be aggressive in free agency. It's not so much taking the steps back. It's not so much the initial step or two backwards. It's the fear legit fear that you might be there for a little bit. That you might be stuck in that to step back mode, and everything you do to try to wiggle out of it is just not going to work in this particular case, the Seahawks could have justified it, they truly could have justified. They could have pointed to the rest of the NFL. Hey, even are Super Bowl. Even the damn thing that we one here when we raise the Lombardi trophy or should have raised the second one outside of that brain freeze to give the ball to Russell Wilson instead of marshawn Lynch, but despite that even the level of success that they experienced with Wilson under his rookie deal enough to justify moving on from him. Hey, gosh, you saw it. I don't fans pissed off. You're upset. What am I gonna do? Do. I really wanna go to see Seahawks games. Now that they got rid of my favorite player who's left. I get that. You're not wrong for feeling that way evening expressing that way. But they would have been able to at least just. Defy it. They would have been able to point and say, we're better off taking this hall. King's ransom that we can get for Wilson and truly starting over and rebuilding the way which we've shown you we can acquire talent as opposed to locking ourselves in. And here's the beauty as we end this Avon respiration radio.

"Let's go to city. Dave you're on the fan. Hey, buddy. How are you? How you doing good good? No complaints except that the damn patriots. Keep making the Super Bowl. I you know as much as a Red Sox fan. I am Tony. That's how much I ate the patriots. I I don't know if this is my head talking as much as it is my heart. But I have it's thirty seven fourteen Rams with that that that defensive linemen who's too short was his name Daniels all over Tom Brady all day. And and for once Bill Belichick doesn't know how to respond and I go to sleep happy. The only prop. I'm wondering you think the consumer gets a? Unsportsmanlike conduct. Hope so because our else would we know it's him. Tony on the Porzingis thing. Look, I mean, you know, you make your bed, and then you have to sleep in what kind of a surprise is it that the kid didn't want to be here anymore. I mean, I know him and his brother are kind of a tough act, and you know, he throws his weight around brats a whole lot more than he should given the limited accomplishments that he's had, but he is a superior talent. And if he finds a way to stay on the court, he's going to do real well somewhere. But you know, you watch the way you watch the way players get treated they don't have to be superstars if they're treated badly. You know, you watch what's going on your watch that the team's not accomplishing anything. When you multiply the fact that the the prime free agents are not even gonna have zinc is to attract them here anymore. How about the way a guy like Anna's Kanter how about the way a guy like Grady gets? Treated, you think you think the players don't see this. Look look look at 'em. They look look Carmelo look how they treated. Kanner? Like, you said, it's funny. The Brandon wanna come here. Durant won. What makes you think that that superstars wanna come here? Now when the team was the worst in the league. Yeah. Yeah. What's the attraction to be Stephen bills? Come on. You know, if he was to guard experience, the gardening experiences going and paying a lot of money to watch the other team coming in and beat the nicks. That's what it is. You get to see, you know, you get to see LeBron when he comes in you get to see all the other stars. You're not there's nothing on the Knicks right now. And and I don't believe these two max contracts. I don't believe anybody's coming because it's still would Dolan. He's gonna be meddling. I I don't think anybody's coming in. I think Tony, you know, at at the age of sixty six I really can't say this definitively. But I think I may even have gotten smart enough not to come anymore. Right. All right, buddy. I'll talk to you. All right. Yeah. It's it's look it's all set up for everybody to get hyped. Who to Mexico when it was going to be be kyri Durant? Klay Thompson and Durant. Both come got gut. The the warriors. Let me put put yourself in their shoes. If you were an elite NBA ballplayer, and you're an unrestricted free agent, you're playing out west somewhere in the middle of the country or down south to anywhere. You would come to the Knicks for what reason? You're going to get paid no matter where you play. So that that's one thing. Legacies all about winning. You know, when I always talk about using the analogy of building a house when you sign a contract, and then you're going to buy a house built house. They tell you how long it's gonna take. You know, there might be some days, we can't work because the weather or, but basically we're to we're going to break ground here. And it should be finished by here. Give or take. You have no concept with with the Knicks. You don't know when this is going to end the first thing is July when it's free agency. Kyrie Irving said you asked me July first other Nick's going to be ready to roll July. First. Are they gonna have it in place? Hey, they might surprise us in maybe, you know. Maybe to get it all done. Maybe they have everything rate or maybe they do know something, we don't know. He's just like the Knicks that they do something not supposed to do in the commission finds out or they wound up losing everything they signed the rant. He's gotta go because the free agent you go somewhere else. Costa the nets? Rickie in the village Ricky here on the fan. Tony rome. Are you? All right, man. What's going on? Not much. All Nick, saying, it's just it's just unbelievable. I just I feel bad for one man. Who's got to be there every on game? Mr. Nick, welfare as your. Yeah. I mean, I can't imagine what how each heels in there. You know with their history. They're like. What do you think he said? Oh, man. I think it's been so bad for so long. I think he's just hoping I get to see a champion some kind of championship run. Or you know, I hope we just get back to the playoffs in my lifetime. I it's I don't know, you know. Oh, man. Shame to. It's just a shame. That's online personally. You couldn't pay me to go to a game. Do that. I mean, it's worse than watching a pickup game less west street. Well, that's more fun. Anyway, just wanted to hear you. I'm voting for Cory Booker. He's the man. All right. Crowded field. That's for sure to get him on. So he listened to the program. But. What you know what the Knicks did with all this time? In buys dreams you thinking, oh, they're going to get max players. This is this is this is the way back. You'll see. If they don't get the number one pick. They don't get the fifth pick. It's like you lose your the worst team in basketball, and you still can't get the number one pick. Shows you how how franchises can change. When the bucks and the sons. Know what to see who gets the the number one pick in the draft. Flip a coin and the bucks. Get Lew Alcindor. And the Suns take Neil walk. I think Neil Walker had one year we had twenty points in ten rebounds, double double. They just one Kareem. Let's face it at the sons won the title. And when the when the the flip they get Kareem. They probably get at least one title. Say oh, it's do. We had Patrick one time. Now that we're going to get Williams. Well. That's that's that's just chance. You can have the worst record in the league and still not get the number one pick. It's just the way it is. Concentrate on the ball players. That's why you look at you look at baseball which auto and Harper, and it's still not done. You look at the ran he'll he'll have a lot of suitors. This would be one. I'm sure the nets could be one Golden State may want him to stay pick where he wants to go. But in the same is going to be hard to see Machado or Harper would actually sign a really bad team. And the Padres are involved in in. Harper. But seriously, you're going to, you know, are you going to go from a playoff contender to a team that needs to be fixed to even get back to the playoffs. Let's go to Paul in network. Paul you're on the fan. Hey, donny. All right. I guess I disagree with a lot of what's being said about this thing with the opening up of gaps based of bringing people year because wherever you gotta bring here. It's like it's like LeBron going back to the Cavaliers, you know, he went back, and he. Team. Good made the playoffs every year and know granted championship with that. So I mean, the bringing Durant Kyrie Irving or whoever else they're young Kemba Walker whatever I think it's going to be. An incentive to say. Well, this is gonna be my team. This is going to be my dynasty. Yeah. Bringing these guys here like. Like, I feel that.
