It's always it's like this is thank you as a as a person know what you wrote. Has well japan through on that road. It's like for you not to give props to people especially those people Are still in the same doing things the industry you're gonna eventually run into somebody. "That was yellow. So we go. I said hey you have a pay said no one so we go he you know i said maybe we'll stop to the cbs or whatever we stopped cvs. They didn't have any we want to walgreen. They find him. I see my go. Hey cool they got a silver one a black woman and a white. When i don't want the black because i'm getting figure side I was like. I think i'm going to get the silver one and go. Are the white whichever one i was going to get. These things are five bucks a piece and you said why. Don't you give up. And i said why would i. You said well if you get the first big your son and they signed it in the silver and you don't like it. You can switch to wide and i thought that's pretty smart narrow. Tim and then i get everybody have paint pads and now i'm stuck with ten dollars worth paint looking do nothing. Now listen what did i tell you in the cps. You're like man. I should have got this earlier. i said mark. They're all have thank. He didn't say dope the heck did i did. I said mark they're going to have paint pins there. This is what they do for us. Like you said jake robbers. What a pro. he knows. I won't be signing bunch of figures. And the best thing to signed figures with jerry. Lawler had a paint. Listen you're this is not going to be listened what you might be sanity. I hope to be actually know if i got assigned lower. That is another one of those worst case. Scenario things where you have to guy. Could you imagine me. I would be like taking pictures with you. Have like tyler main man. What i would wear them. I know that's that's why you do signings with you. That's one of those guys have somebody to do all the talking for somebody to be the butthole from the barrier bad news and say i know you brought your figure unless i didn't like i don't like the star so are ordered a jerry lawler fixed just the other day for twenty bucks family. Yes okay then we get there. And he's got a bunch of figures. Now both the forty dollars for an autograph to get my figures. And then i get there and the guy goes well. He's just signed the eight by ten for the fourth and he said the figures for twenty so if you want him to sign the figure it'll be twenty four and i thought her kid right by quits. The say doesn't say you bought the conflict because it's typically didn't bother combo. Because i didn't really i wished no no i did. It says it on the paper says forty dollar com combo. You bona combo to get your picture made with him and get autographed for this. I would want. But i know what i am daily. I did not buy the picture. I just wanted to get my favorite song. Ain't it said forty dollars. Comp i'm telling you that saying that it didn't say forty dollars combo what i'm telling you. It was forty dollars just to give up. Since i i thought it. Okay so i thought the deal for jake and and Maybe i know what kinda catchy did not the. Maybe they're deal was forty and twenty. And then you paid the i gotcha okay. And then. The combo was fifty where. I'm sorry i apologize okay. I'll always one thing. I know is what has been money. So but anyway they charge me extra twenty to sign on my figure. I but you know what i did. Yeah because i was not going to have the moment. Yeah i was like. Hey this is jerry lawler ridiculous. I don't agree with it. It's probably bad practice. But you know what. I don't wanna get into it with this guy so i just was like twenty bucks and he put he had the kind of guy that you were not going to be named to head. It was yeah it was smart. It wasn't like you know jack roberts was with tony new hunt. Hurry hunter you would have probably stood up to. You've been lying. Tony this tony tony tony. Jay would have been like these guys from a double dropkick show actually somewhere have a picture of me and tony hunter because we were testing a camera to three count show when he brought in i think. Ab it's been ricky. Stephen we were just has an immediate. Tony took a picture together to test the camera. I haven't gas fakes. But tony a good get like to have somebody do that. He's perfect for because he don't tell people. Now i mean like isa. He told me. No one time over something with With vader yet now you said gabba he. He said what did he say. There was the way he said it. It was very nice. It was like no. This is the end of art entering deo. We've completed our we. We fulfilled our obligation. Yeah along those lines right. I was trying to get something extra and he was like. Nah i can get into it. But here's what is going. I'm pretty happy i mean. Think about this this podcast in. We're pulling into the venue You think about wrestling heroes harley race stead manson bidding. Jake roberts big van vader at him Misty road road. Great player met him There's only a few gaz. Lived in a cut like terry would be on the on that list. The undertaker stone cold steve offs. Yeah that's it. It's a list and maybe hulk hogan and brutus. The barber beefcake late night because the rest of them are randy savage is gone altima warriors recruits. Gone mr perfect so a lot of those guys you know. They're gone so but of the people that are the rock obviously but that's like the rocks on a whole different level getting close enough to the rock this point unless he does it for charity will never see rock never like role they say. You know what i'm saying. I'm saying over a signed rock card to get graded. Because i paid twenty dollars for a twenty dollars for you and assigned undertake and the guy came. He's like how are you serious. That was at the legends convention. I remember those you when you told me you got those for that. I was like what. Yeah yeah that was a steel and like the guy with the shattner cards today. Golly hundred seventy five was the lowest i if i had had other star trek memorabilia. Maybe now i if he'd had a rogers so all right. Well we're back. We got work to do. We're working men so they say and we appreciate you supporting this show. "To get to a different places. You couldn't before others very little of that stuff in this game less than five times. I want to say yeah. It's really just well through gate. Yeah and then last question. I'm reading from this guy How did you feel about rasi. Goodell dying i was conflicted about it but ultimately i liked it especially because like i said i fully expected crystal dynamics to kill off cain and have rasi be the poster boy moving forward because again. That's the character that they created. But i like the idea of having kane moving forward but you could have done something. Really cool with a direct sequel. Where like roger goodell was almost like your navigator where he would his spirit would like come out of the blade and talk to kane you some neat stuff with that where it's like even though canes bhai himself right there's another character that he's talking to although i do love. I wish more games did this where it where it's like i personnel. I love that shit and especially like hearing. Cain talk about stuff is just really cool. So it's like he doesn't really need somebody to talk to because he can talk to himself. But i thought that would have been a neat thing going. Forward as if like rosie o. Was still like a spectre that could come out of the blade. Couldn't do anything but just like you know. Hey maybe you need to go do this that type of thing okay and from daniel culpa tree in a different world. Where the oh g. cass would still be alive. How would you finish the legacy of kain series preview. I forget who. I didn't rene oto from december nine and he voice in legacy gain. Yeah he did yes he did reprises roll like really the only one who's done dead that i know of his tony jay who played the elder god and he played martinez in the first game. Although i'm wondering if the voice after a moebius also died and michael bell is like getting. I think he might be close to eighty or past eighty so massive that. That's that's rough. But i you know. I think prob like i really liked the ending of defiance. I think i think this is what i would have wanted like. I think the only thing again and you know not to repeat myself. I think the only thing that i would have liked to have seen was cain that evolve again into like a closer look to the original vampires. And maybe maybe it's not a thing that he looks like permanently again. Maybe it's like a double trigger thing where you know. Sometimes he can like assume this form you know. Maybe you could do with that. Where it's like. Oh he transforms and now he can fly to this next area instead of just float or something like that. You're telling me he wanted to become a god to shoot things instead right. I haven't played that game. I cut it out of my episode to. I remember it was. It was a good game. Thousand seven yeah. I played a little bit of it for the first time. Because i like so. I collect final fantasy games. And i was like i guess. I need binder so what ahead and bought it. Because i you know the last few years have been like just like of like picking up games here and there randomly. I'm having to find a good copy of it at my local game shop. Okay let me test it. Let me make sure this works. And i played the beginning. I was like this is garbage..

"I love fighting them as he janitor and i i couldn't believe it when rossio kill what. Yeah i me for a loop. And then i'm like okay. He's done and then you go. And you kill jane janice because you have the heart and then you end up and you end up you up playing this candy. I'm like what keynes dead and all of a sudden you're in hell or something has came. Yeah that was cool. Low like one of the best like come up in any video game is a moebius like talking to the elder gods saying kane. Kane is out of the picture. He's dead and mccain. is larry behind him saying. oh you're a little premature on. that just sounds a brick a great like that and you stabs him. He finally kills him after all this time. He finally got finally got him. Yeah that was really good. I think the voice actor for moebius in this game is different than the previous ones. Which is kind of a bummer. And then like they change. More tena is designed so much that when they showed him. I was like so one of the things that i will say about this series that that i think is a detriment is that well. It's it's a double edged sword right so you get to see the same characters in each game which is kind of cool. Four doors in this game like everywhere. All the major players are in most of the games in some form or fashion but also makes the world feel smaller. Because you're not really meeting new people and so when they showed you know this like the dislike flock this this congregation leader in africa's cathedral. I was like oh cool like we're finally getting a new character but then it turned out. No it's just martinez. He looks completely different than blood. Omen in one and then also because tony jay who voices the elder god was the voice of mauritania's in blowing one sorts. Also a different voice and so. I was completely confused when i was like okay. Let's just martinez or paintings is the guy who ended up tricking came to becoming a vampire right in hell. Yeah he's a deck romance and he's the final boss of blood omen one. How morpheus was the final boston blood and when one no it's not it can using because they're you know they're both like m. starting fantasy on one hundred episodes ago and that too i don't like him and wash your. I've played a lot. So like like i remember that story pretty well. I think when we when we did it for the podcast. I had just kind of forgotten the time stuff i had forgotten. Like cain basically goes back in time and kind of is responsible for the vampire perch he looks a lot of things he does and that was also interesting you play rossi hill because you're five hundred. All the vampires are dead. Pretty much is so river also five hundred years later or is it or is this even farther ahead..

tony jay africa Four doors five hundred each game five hundred years later Kane one rossio mauritania one hundred kane both morpheus jane janice cain things janitor double edged rossi hill

"Together the cd package there. He gonna ask absolutely got into the studio doing you. Yeah that's great. I actually interview the producer of the show a few years ago. Christopher breath for beast wars and i said i was just looking. I was just thinking just today. I go mac magin that you've got to great voices on that show among many but you got blue man. Kumon tony jay on the same show with those nice deep voices man. That's pretty cool. Oh have a want fun is. I was a big transformers fans. Oh yes the thought of actually doing voice hadn't even cross my mind when i initially saw the cartoons and fell in love with the whole concept of the book. The big change. I thought that was just the most common thing i've ever seen. You know and and to actually be blessed enough to have been asked to be the voice of tigers. John's yeah i gotta say it's a wonderful wonderful thing and man. I was knocked up the movie. Yeah the movie i i. It was hard for me to imagine how they were going to bring the cartoon characters and make them real. Yeah yeah exactly ever pull it off. They did they. What a movie away. I thought the animated series was you know cool because at the time you know widespread. Cgi wasn't as commonplace as it is now so they really did a lot with what they had to work with at the time holiday classic. Yeah it is again. They were time they took the the bar and they raised because the transfer transformers were already established and When when they went digital got intended to go to the beach got him Up on the boards and ruining Well i gotta say is knocked out now just a big kid myself and in the studio side. Some of those cat set. My man played. Megatrend dave out jesus. I had to complement complement him. After every show. Yeah you know about gardening. Yeah yes exactly. Yeah what do rats trapped. Yes right at the arguing with himself. I didn't know it was the same guy defying that out. You could not tell summating. He's one of the most talented voice actors i've ever met in my life. Gotta say how do you like doing that. Part of the business doing just. The voice work is my favorite. How is you really. Yeah i gotta say. I like to lay back. You know what i'm saying and the The fact that you you show up you put on the headphones and you start working so cool. You don't have to do wardrobe make up. You know you have to sit around. Hurry up and wait. that's right yes getting. Those are some of the goofiest crazies. People in tell you in a room with with like ten twelve cats and they're all doing captain kirk back and throwdown me. You know. I get myself. But i'm just keeping the candy store that's it is. I gotta say it's the most fun work there is and and i do a lot of commercials and things like that and a lot of times. I'll go into the sea ninth or the morning in the morning and By in fifteen. I'm done wow. I worked you go. It's my favorite stuff. Well the role that i really was introduced to you wasn't robocop. The series have and i was watching the series and the show. you know it just. It has problems for me. You know we would've in the typical era. Yeah exactly As you recall all the the movies were quite violent. Yes they were. Yeah you know that movie violence lending nonetheless. You'd like the. I always remember the same. Give the boy a hand with blue. Handle exactly yeah. But in the in the typical era on tv and allowed to go anywhere that kind of so he they couldn't shoot And be violent in the way that the movie was and it was shooting the successful successful because of that so when he had to do robocup he had to shoot the chandelier. It fell on the bad guys hit. Yeah exactly and the characters turned out to and you know the bad guys i. That's what i thought it was because we had to pull back so much and It it. It was kind of a futile attempt to really make robocup work on tv I thought that there was a lot of Humanitarian and i thought the the character driven asked that it was was okay Because you get to know who he was and you know how they felt and and the people that are dealt with matt again and the human aspect of it was okay but these spectacular the the action stuff was a bit snug. That could only go so far and that was the big draw robocop sure. Can you imagine if they in the transformers movie Like the if the do like that. The chandelier yeah that stuff. There's a say closes out of town. It was a wonderful. Experience is the first time i spent Winter out in toronto Men who jesus do yeah. That's that's talking about major cold winter going on and little west coast. Folks don't know anything. So i would say about one of the things i did like. Was your character because if you look at the movies the sergeant in the movies was like okay. I mean he was good but you you brought a little bit more to him than than it was in the they gave you a little bit more room to but but you did you bring you brought something to him and you stood out to me. And that's why i kind of like. Hey this guy's good. I'm gonna keep it. Keep an eye on this guy. Thank you very much for say. It's too bad we didn't get another season further but Then that was it was a very interesting and then warm experience. And i'm glad i had met a lot of great people. I'm still be friends with Event for example played. She was great. She was actually one of the things. I did like a lot about the show. Yeah yeah tremendous great. great lady. She's she's She's got her own line of t shirts and whatnot on the mat. It's be so do so. Dot com dot com. She's these a sweet sweet lady. Oh yeah she was great on the show. And i did like her and yeah. There was a lot of things that you know that that if given time they might have been able to straighten out. You never know yeah. That's it you all good things need that right you gotta work kinks and absolutely and say we were. We were under the gun people chipper with having you know g wasn't having it i don't know how much we would've been able to pull it off anyway because you with robocop you gotta let it kind of hang out there. You know stuff needs to be blowing up and you know he needs to be fighting real real serious vicious vicious people. Oh yeah oh absolutely at the movies really work. Oh yeah factor. Absolutely now we have anything coming up that you might be working on or going to start shooting or anything I have a couple of things that That i'm going to be producing all just created michael media. Oh great yeah We'll be working with this great Yeah we have a couple of shows on the On the burner. But i'm gonna keep it kinda on manhattan back now. Sure we moved them along a little further. I understand there's a an entity called pacific gold entertainment. He had Going to be doing some things that these folks just coming on the horizon. The first film is called blood. A butcher's tale. "I know you've got you know you've got a Tom holt pronounced holes holes Playing quasimodo who if you've ever seen the movie day Yeah he is the the the lead role in that You know kevin kline as captain Focus famous You know tony jay who Has done a number of of disney voice acting roles if you if you watched even if you are saturday morning cartoons in the nineties you would have heard tony jay at some point. I think i think what what i was most familiar with. outside of hunchback was a reboot. He played megabyte which you know you know easy. He's got that that voice that just of course your voice actor. What else are you going to do. But he's just he's amazing he's you you put them in. Put him in your movie and it's just high. Yeah yeah of course you dizzy being disney and they gotta put Know some who some more recognizable tv personality. And they're so. We've got jason alexander as the voice of hugo one of the not gargoyles tattered. Egli those are not gargoyles Victor hugo and laverne. Obviously victor hugo named after victor hugo Laverne comes from the anderson. Sisters was a singing group but They they originally wanted to name the name those characters after like lon chaney and some of the people laid quasi in yeah other adaptations. But they're like disney legals like. I don't think we can do that. Pretty sure these states of those people would frown on that so upset. Yeah but technically they are not gore. Goya's are never actually referred to as gargoyles They are Grotesques which are generally statues of demons or monsters said to scare off evil spirits. True guy gargoyles are hollow and use as spouts her draining rain water hence the name it comes from the french french word gaga which means to gargle. So there you go dealers. Yeah there's something new. Don't tell goliath yes. That's the other thing is like at the at the same time you know. The gargoyles tv show from disney. Was i think yeah it was. It was going around this time or you know it was. It was well known and very popular. And then they have hunchback come out and you have these three goofy gargoyles and it's just kind of like really if the internet as we know it today was around then the crossover fan art and maybe there is some. I just haven't really looked would be hilarious. Yeah maybe we'd have brutus and pixie you style like like you. The action gargoyles from the show versus the combat. The comic relief wants from this from the hunchback movie off. It would be interesting to say. At least i always made that connection by head. 'cause i loved i loved the gargoyles tv show. I watched it all the time. And then i watch this movie and i'm like Not impressed yes. With those specific arguelles oils. I know back. They're not gargoyles. i i know. Apparently jason alexander really wanted to be a disney movie. He was quite excited to. Yeah this is kind of the time period where the big name celebrities are like. Oh you know. It's sort of like now that they all wanna be in marvel movies so they'll take any part back then it was. I wanna be the voice in a disney movie. So they'd get. That's why you get all these these these really famous tv actors or you know character actor. Yeah come in and do those hair. It's like an hour to the movies and the parents are like. Oh look he's got a new animated movie out. That's great you know it's like oh and that's that guy from seinfeld's something for the parents. Yes parents to enjoy. I didn't have a chance to see hunchback in the theaters. That remember seeing it in rental and i happened to be watching it and my dad's jim dial round for victor hugo's here but So this this movie is just it's it's a really really interesting When you really like pull back and don't yeah you look at it. Not from ten thousand foot view of just oh. It's disney cartoon with music traditional disney musical and dissect it more on a deeper level. I mean this movie's just it's an amazing like kind of how also i'm looking for say thesis put the. That's the only thing i can think of Representation i guess of religion and politics and Disney it never really done anything. Yeah in this realm before. Yeah and it's also kind of indicative like like we sit here and watch it in ninety six when it first came out oreo now in in two thousand twenty one and we just have. Our culture has just a different viewpoint of just kind of religion in general from your when when the when the story was written. And it's you know it it it. It occupies a different place in our culture in our society. And however you feel about it It's so you know looking at it now. We're kind of like you know we get one thing from it. But the you know the people back then to to to hear about these things or to have this characterization it was kind of a big deal for for that for these kind of things to be to be stated that you know there was corruption anytime you give people power of any sort. There is always that potential for to be to for for corruption. Bad things to happen. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Yeah at where they don't if they don't have i mean there are. There are some good good people who are. And i and i believe i'm sure i believe this was.
