"Hey, might appear with him at some point, but I can't imagine a strong endorsement. Strong events would help buy in Pennsylvania from the governor because so many people are upset. With how how strong the shutdowns have been, and the one size fits all Shut down. Do you think about outdoor venues? Regardless of size, have the same restrictions as to how many people can be there based on acreage. Nothing seems to apply except just a flat number. So I think in terms of that it's The restrictions are so strong and the president's objections have such strong restrictions on the economy certainly will help his campaign and heard Biden in my opinion. Yeah, and that could effect. I mean, you look at the three Most pivotal states this year that are up for grabs The Keystone State Pennsylvania, and you have a Democrat cover Tom Wolfe. Wisconsin Tony Evers, Democrat governor, taking a lot of heat for how he handled things, and also Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan, all in the same boat, so campaigning would be very odd for Joe Biden with those governors in three key states. What about the DNC and the RNC conventions? Were you surprised that they really didn't lay out a plan of what they're going to do for the their terms if they would get reelected or elected as Faras, President Trump and Joe Biden Yeah. I was surprised about how that those conventions, especially the Democratic National Convention was handled. I thought it was unique how they bounced around the country when it came to nominating the president that that was a good one for the DNC. I thought that was well done. They may do that the future live. But in terms of just how it was handled pre recorded speech is Mrs Obama's speech, which I thought was very good. However, it was recorded so early. She wasn't even able to mention Kamala Harris and Harris being the nominee being Joe Biden's choice for vice president. I think she could re recorded her her remarks. To include a comment about Senator Harris. I thought that was very odd. Yeah, they chose not to redo her speech. Yeah, I thought so, too, especially with the, uh, the avenues they have for TV because they are a Netflix affiliated. Now they have access to camera crews pretty much at their beck and call I would imagine, right. Yeah, exactly. It just seemed gam. Sure She's got a very busy schedule against you. I thought you gave a good speech. But the fact that she never even mentioned Senator Harris because her speech have been recorded before nobody. "Absolutely, absolutely. Come on. Let's be honest. Let's help for once In the last few years, it would be nice to actually pick up the newspaper or Go to the Internet and see someone other than Fox News and even often, Fox News these days isn't so great. Just tell the truth about what's going on. Just tell the truth. It's an insurrection. There's no issue about that. At this point, they guy like I love your terms. It's an insurrection and many people volunteer. Many people want to be a part of it. And and the organization in Kenosha last night with gas masks and here in Madison with God fire with cans of gasoline and gas masks, Right and riot gear on them Fields That didn't just happen heading that was black Tak, where brought to them by somebody. Okay, there. There. There were folks running around with backpacks that had red tape on them. That's signaled that those were the riot medics. Riot medic. Now, if that isn't a death by definition An insurrection. I don't know what he is, and the problem will use that term is that many people even within that group within the rioters last night. They're not part ofthe the organized effort. They become part of it because they're just hoodlums. Or as Dave Clark said yesterday, Street turds. You know, at least if someone had a motive, like the The Black lives matter Group does, which is the take over the country and in use of Marxist values and a socialist society? Well, that's one group. But the rest of the people coming along with them are often just hoodlums. And then you get a last group of people. Who are you? Awoke white kids and their kids. Their you know their twenties their kids who in Madison, Wisconsin, your Milwaukee audience should know in Madison. By the way, they destroyed everything around the capital. Everything on State Street. Oh, except Starbucks. Oh, they didn't hurt any the windows at Starbucks. No key. They like Starbucks. Starbucks? Yeah, those that that's their place. And they didn't hurt anything at one of the little French restaurants because an old fashioned too little restaurants downtown. Why? Because that's where they go to dinner. That's where they go for their drinks. This is this has 00 to do with the police and their treatment off. African Americans and blacks and other minorities. It has nothing at this point to do with them I'd buy. We finally agree with something that Sasha roads, Conway said here in Madison. She's the mayor here in Madison, she said this morning. Folks, don't you understand what you're doing now isn't doing anything to help the our objective of defunding the police. Yeah, You know what, and then, she said, because people are starting to react against it. Aw, you think you think you think more than a few people pulled out, went downstairs and looked in suburban Brookfield or wherever in this last night and check to make sure that they did have a safe room or did have a gun? Yeah. Ah, more than a few did because it's common to your town. Next. It's already started to spread beyond containment. Not to mention that there are already Facebook pages that are trying to organize actions in suburban communities. What a suburban communities have to do with Kenosha. Absolutely nothing. What does Madison have to do with Kenosha? Absolutely nothing. What is that Burning Church have to do with police. Absolutely nothing. None of it's so incongruous. You can't make it fit together. Unless your goal is an unceasing chaos that that nobody has the guts to confront. And that's where we are right now. So they're successful in so far as they have, for reasons that that our difficulty of comprehend they terrified leadership in these same Democrat controlled cities. They've terrified leadership into total surrender. Total surrender. Why didn't the Kenosha Police Department and the National Guard Tony Evers on Ly deployed 125 National Guard out of 10,000, knowing the city was going to be attacked? By organized insurrectionists. Why didn't they close off the areas they knew were going to be targeted. Why didn't they put semi trucks blocking access beginning at the eight PM curfew? Why? Because leadership is terrified. Why didn't they shut down? Downtown Madison? Why didn't why did they allow field 150 people to go through with cans of gasoline and crowbars to smash windows and light things on fire? Why wasn't even available for access? Where is anyone in leadership in Democrat leadership? Tony Evers is hiding under his desk. Mandela. Barnes thinks he's he's you know, really? An aside for a moment, Mandela Barnes, I do believe is actually the dumbest man ever elected Tio High office. Who has who has decided that that Jacob Blake is dead? He actually he actually in his mind. Has Jacob Blake dead and he is arguing or he was He was making statements in his official capacity as lieutenant governor that we have to tear down the systems of white supremacy. And I'm thinking to myself. You mean the systems like elections that got your ass elected? Really? Truly we have some of the dumbest people ever elected to office leading us. These are people who either agree with the endgame of tearing down the rule of law in the institutions of America to replace them. With what You should all ask this question. With what? What institutions? Would they like to replace these with no ones and asking and answering that question, and people who are on board with it. Or you have people who are too terrified to actually stand up to it and say We're going to restore peace and order in these areas, and it begins now, because right now there is no one who fears anything from law enforcement in those mob in those riot, mom, there's no consequence there's not. There's no consequence going to be arrested. No, and if they're arrested, you've got D A's in Milwaukee County in Kenosha County and in Dane County that are not Going to charge people and and it interesting thing. I look at it from a point standpoint of a judge when I saw the video of the Kenosha situation, and I could tell you ask any police officer any police are random. Walk up to him. Ask him this question. What is the worst situation you could be in as a police officer? He will say. She will say a domestic violence situation. There is no rationality to what occurs when there's domestic violence. Everyone in this audience knows that. Think about that A family dispute escalates with almost no provocation because, of course, there's long histories of other things that go on. And as a judge, we saw that every day. You know, we'd see that in temporary restraining order hurries. We see those in divorces. We see those in criminal complaints. Do you know how many people do get hurt or stabbed or shot in domestic violence every year in the state of Wisconsin? I'm guessing hundreds And and and so this was not a unique situation. In that respect. It had nothing to do with race, and that's why it was so infuriating. It just happened to be Ah, black couple. It could have been. Ah, gay white couple in Madison. It could have been ah, black and a white It could have been two Asians. It doesn't matter. Every domestic dispute that escalates is the most dangerous situation. Police officers find themselves in. And as I said, every police officer know this. Every judge you speak to will tell you the same thing. And so the fact that they reacted as they did. Well, let's we're gonna have to look at it and see, but the idea that had to do with race Come on, B ri, You know that's how people automatically that that is the default. And then the Democrats. Default is to leap to the conviction and the sentence to leap from what happened here..

When he was the attorney general, he wouldn't have been able to answer me right off the bat, but he would have thought about it. He would've put a team on it. He would've gotten me an answer. He would have come on this program and he would have answered my questions about it. "Here it is, it is, it is an important dilemma that we solve, and that's the problem because I'm telling you I have I have sought out advice from a former police chief from former Sheriff David Clarke multiple lawyers and a former DA in a former federal investigator, and now you and everyone's telling me the same thing the answer is. We don't know we don't know what to tell you to do in the event. That something like this happens to you and yet this is happening to be. This is why truckers don't want to go into some of these areas, because they don't want to be in a position where they have to make that decision either, and I just talked to the president of a trucking company yesterday. WHO said as much? I was killed. People just trust your instincts. I can't tell you how many times I've had victims of iron rob walk into a parking lot in upcoming Stephen, I saw sky standing over by the Bushes I. Probably should have back in the building, but I decided to try to get into Alycia. Why well you know, but if you don't know your instincts, medical series and there has enough people down. That are losing money at some point, they can put him up political pressure on the sheriff there. Your police chief up Madison Right now I really don't know what's going on the balanced, but you know at least in. The the the line in the sand seems to be when they try to take over. The streets expressway the arresting those people, but yesterday they let. Go one of the activists dome you know in the whatever, and after activist, eighty applies one of those jobs and. but they let him go with when they talk houseplants. Apparently I don't know exactly what the wants us to recant this before we can house, right. We can't arrest the people who are burning the houses down. But. You can't defend your house if you're. "Up a comment that I actually left on legal blog today. I'm seeking answers to this question. Honestly the reason. I'm putting putting this question out. There is because I don't think anybody's got an answer. This was on the Scott Greenfield blog. That is called hold on a second. I'll give you the name of this this guy's blog. He's a lawyer. He's got a fairly popular legal blog called simple justice and I, and this is the question I asked I said. What if you're surrounded by raving lunatics doing violence on behalf of Justice and your window is about to come in. Police are not likely to come to your rescue. Of course, everyone will call nine one one anyway and one of its me a five foot, three inch, middle, aged woman, who can't fight our weight of a paper bag, or a twenty-something mom and her kids or your grandpa driving grandma to the clinic. Must you wait for the first shot in Wisconsin? We have the castle doctrine which. Which helps protect me legally if I if someone tries to enter my vehicle when I'm in it, but that law protects me if I must use deadly force on the person trying to break in what is it if any protection do I have rolling forward in potentially injuring the other rabble standing in front of my car gunning. It does not appear to be covered under castle doctrine. So, what do you do? And at what point do I get to decide that you know the risk of the whatever that might be coming through? My window is too high. Steve SPINGOLA retired detective Milwaukee Police Department. There isn't a simple answer to this, is there? No there really, isn't it? Depends upon the perception of the. Individual the force. That's the honest. Person Back what would a reasonable person do and unfortunately right now that's kind of ask. You got armed protesters for the first time carrying guns, standing in front of people, causing property damage and people are in fear of their safety and their own lives, and they're starting to fight back and look what happened in Saint Louis they're actually considering charging homeowners, after this group of protesters broke down a gate and approach them I I believe they had a reasonable fear that they would be an exactly and by the way those homeowners Saint Louis. Many of you have probably seen that story or those pictures. Those homeowners simply arm themselves in held off the mob from entering their home, which was one of these historic homes that have been restored by them..

"Some type of formal written order, or or even suggestion that okay. Hey, when we have the leaders on the phone, we should record this conversation and the response back to the Journal. Sentinel was there are there are no written records of this call at all so I? Mean that just kind of take the step further and says. Well. This was obviously something that was very informal. which leads you to believe that somebody was out there thinking of themselves? Boy. There's a reason we should F-, probably record this conversation, and it's probably not for any good reason in my estimation, so you know I liked the journal Sentinel went that direction. It kind of narrows the scope again I. Don't think the press has given up on this I know. We're not giving up on this hidden damage, the relationship to the point with the legislature where it's really become hard, even function on a normal basis at this point. Here's here's my second question then because there's also almost no From either the lieutenant governor or the governor on the attack on a sitting state Senator in that of course happened during the Madison riots. We don't have anything coming from this governor. Despite the fact that the capital itself was under siege We don't have any indication that the state of Wisconsin is ready and willing to go to defend the capital. I saw state assemblywoman who had put out a tweet saying you know what what do I tell my staff? What do I tell people when they come to Madison because it doesn't appear that the governor is interested in making sure that he maintains a high level of safety, order and control of the capital swear area. No and there was a certain percentage of state employees that had been of migrating back into the capital. There was questions about when the legislature was having hearing that you know whether or not say capital should be open during those period times, and now all that reverse I mean obviously people are throwing bricks through the windows of the capital. That is not a safe work. Environment and the employees are not gonNA WANNA be sitting in their offices so until the away with the governor resolves this issue as well We've got a massive just. Completely on the Capitol Square at this point. You have Madison radicals. You have Madison radicals little privileged Bolsheviks, donning berets and chanting revolution that are now that nobody got to vote into power are now controlling access to the Wisconsin state capital in if they feel like beating up state senator for exercising his First Amendment rights to take a photograph I. Guess They can do that, and that's okay with the governor, a and everybody else. In some of your listeners may be familiar with this, but you know sometimes these groups start to kind of gather as early as like one o'clock in the afternoon. If you're on the very edge of seat streak right next to the capital, you know there can be fifty. There could be one hundred people there in the afternoons so in Zero Supervision. Nobody watching them. It's kind of like everyone just presumes. This is a very peaceful group, although if you're trying to navigate traffic in that area, it's very difficult to this time so..

"We get a declaration that you are not going to succumb to a mob action and put students through an inquisition, simply because you disagree with their political worldview. I think that is something that the alumni ought to be demanding of that institution, because otherwise there will be an unequal application, so if marquette gets a high level, recruit and high level recruit has social media that says he supports president trump and nobody pays attention to that and the Marquette Administration can plausibly not have to pay attention to that. He probably gets a pass, but if somebody pays attention to that and start harassing the administration and demands that he be his his his acceptance be rescinded. It all again that all depends then if that mob action gets attention in John, McAdams picks up on it or somebody like that picks up on it. Because there's no, there's no rules we don't have rules. The university gets to act on a whim. And, that's something that you alumni out. There ought to demand, not take place any longer, so get a statement from the administration that the students are not going to have their social media comb through in mob. Actions are not going to be brought to bear against them to force. To to to inspire the administration to try to shake those students down for their political views. That's what I would do. If I were alumni I would I would get on the phone. I would write a letter. I would threaten to take away my university donation. And say I want a statement that you are going to support free speech for your students all right Scott Fitzgerald little bit late, but better late than Never Senate majority leader Scott Fitzgerald on the program how you doing. I'm doing well. How are you I'm all right, believe it or not, so here's my. Question to you, Senator is. Where's Tony? Where's Mandela Barnes where are these people? Because when it comes to what is now I think become obvious that we have a likely felony committed in the governor's office or a state senator attacked in a riot. It doesn't seem like these guys have much interest in anything except hostage videos, talking about the existential threat of Covid, nineteen in Wisconsin, and since apparently fewer people are interested in that they seem to have gone into hiding. I can't disagree. I don't know where they're at in. You know we've had a couple of different things that have come up in the last couple of days where we're kind of like. The press is looking for answers to questions and these guys aren't anywhere to be found. They'd had these eleven. Thirty conference calls that have been going on. Those have dwindled down to nothing and Yes, now the latest is this question that continues to be brought up about whether or not. There's any formal record as to who was equally recording the the call that the speaker in Iraq. So, we don't have a formal record. We don't have anybody willing to cop to it. So nobody on the call is willing to cop to it. Right saying I authorized it even though if you cop to it that actually you know that's legal, if sleazy right, but it's legal, so we don't have anybody willing to cop to it. There's still there's still claiming that this was somebody who is not authorized to do it, and certainly not authorized to be on the call and and yet. We don't have any action being taken. Neither neither in the form of an investigation and official criminal investigation, even though this is a likely felony, and we certainly don't have an ethics investigation. We don't have even the governor's office willing to identify the employee. No and journal Sentinel to their credit, did an open records request looking for.

"Question and I will update on. The Marquette student to was on the program day or two ago. Samantha was her name. The update on Samantha by the way is the attention on this story appears to have had a positive effect is Marquette seeks A. C. Y. A.. Matt kittle followed up on this story for Wisconsin spotlight and Empower Wisconsin and Marquette is now saying Oh. We never rescinded. We never threatened to rescind her acceptance although. They very much did but mark has an interesting question. We're not where that stands as of yet mark, but but feel free to ask your hypothetical. Ya. Yes No I yeah. I have a I. was I listen to some discussion the other day regarding the Marquette? And I do have kind of A. Somewhat of an affiliation of Marquette in a back door sort of way, but. My question is i. saw the tape of this morning. Marquette had recruiter. High Level Basketball Recruit and. Not Very very high level, but apparently a good player, and my my question would be mark here were to. Retrieve A. A real high level, a top ten national recruit someone could really raise the level of the program and ended up making a lot of money. for the university if that student. Were to. spouse, support, president, trump and. As far as some of the same, use it a young lady as talk. Radio today. I'm curious how Marquette would handle that I. Think the I think the alumni call marquette and say. Can we get a statement saying that you will not allow cyber bullies and the mob to. Force you to harass those students. I mean the the answer. Is it all depends on how much attention it got mark? That's the. If it were a high level recruit if this were someone might. I'm just saying it would. This is the truth. It would depend on how much attention that person social media postings God, and how how powerful a mob action was being brought against that person. That's how I honestly would depend on that, and whether or not that person would survive would depend on whether or not. Somebody knew it was happening, so John McAdams knew that young Samantha was under assault by the mob, and by the administration of Marquette, so he blog did I saw it. I put Samantha on the Air Matt Kit a listen to that. He wrote a story about it now. There's attention to marquette so Samantha's in better shape than she. She was a couple of days ago. She's not out of the woods, but that's the simple simple answer. Your question is it depends on on how how powerful and big the mob was, who got attention of the administration, and whether or not the administration acted based on how big and powerful the mob was, and the and the student himself would have to hopefully get the attention of someone like me or John. McAdams or somebody else in talk radio. ETC, so it's never there's never just a rule. There's never just one rule that applies here, and that's why I think. The alumni of marquette ought to be in the inboxes of the administration saying..

That find yourself turning accidentally or must. Travel through a mob. What do you do if the mob surrounds your car? I talked about a story yesterday about a man pulling out of a madison parking lot down down Madison parking lot who was swarmed? What do you do? When that's you. I'd like an answer to the question. I would like an answer from Tony Evers I would like an answer. From Mayor Tom Barrett I would like an answer from Mir Sasha Roads Conway. What do you do? What is the advice that the police chief in Milwaukee Alfonso Morales would give to people if they find themselves in this situation surrounded by a mob, a Ma that is acting in every way to give that person the idea that they are as violence coming. "Aren't going to be, brave. They might talk quietly. They might whisper. That they agree with Senator Juan Guard a retired police officer. Senator, Fitzgerald, I mean they might be having chats in the hallways with Republicans under their breath. About. HOW CRAZY! All of this is getting, but they're not going to stand. For the majority. Of Americans Wisconsin, they're not going to stand not not not in Washington DC. Where it is insane, it is insane to have the mayor of Washington DC. Try to evict. The National Guard. From the city. The National Guard are there to defend the city. And to defend the White House. That is insane. Democrats no that is insane. But they're not going to be courageous and say this is insane. Shop. I'll tell you why give you a couple of local examples. Sheriff David Moaning Dane County. He was paid a visit by the radical Marxist group. Freedom Inc. they vandalized his front line. They know where he lives. They issued threats. That's what happens. They're going after the radicals are going after Democrats. Yes, they're going after conservatives. But They're not changing our minds. Even legend even some of the week is legislators on the Republican side aren't going to throw in. With the people who want to tear apart law, enforcement and de-fund law enforcement. That's not gonNA happen. Even the weakest Republicans aren't going to do that. But Democrats will. If you, scare them. Gloria Ray as school board president in the Madison Schools Madison Metropolitan School district former mayor. She was paid a visit. She had her home vandalized. Protesters showed up in her. Way. Kind of feels like act ten. For those of you? Liberals out there Who are? Worried about experiencing this now you know what the Republicans in what conservative activists had to deal with during the at ten uprisings, but that's what they're doing. They know that they're not really going to make a difference. In threatening conservatives. They might scare people of running for office, but they are going to make a difference with Democrats. Who are afraid? To say anything. That is in disagreement. Why was Dave Mahoney targeted a sheriff? This guy is he. Is Awoken Sheriff? He was targeted because he was working behind the scenes to get a new jail approved. Why was Gloria Reyaz an Hispanic woman who is the president of the school board who has bent over backward to contorted herself into a Woke Pretzel? Why was she targeted because she didn't drop the hammer on school? Resource officers and get rid of them when the demand was to get rid of school resource officers. Michael Johnson is is a black man and an activist is. As progressive as they calm card, carrying member of Planet Wall Club. From boys and girls, clubs and Dane County. He's being targeted right now. Because he's not. Signing on one hundred percent with de-fund, the police empty out the jails redirect our law enforcement resources to these radical groups through the Wisconsin Department of Justice Josh. Cole knows better. The Attorney General of this state who seems to be living in a gopher hole and never pops his head above. The ground level except to see what's going on, and it scares the ever loving crap out of him, and so he's hiding under his desk, and just simply rubber stamping the demands of the radical left to move justice dollars into these groups and fund them. One group we learned. Got Three point six million dollars since two thousand fourteen. A group that is dedicated to tearing apart. Law Enforcement Our court system. You've heard about all of these. Da's Da's our elected positions. You've heard about Da's across the country. You've got delays in Milwaukee Da's and Madison D. as in Dallas in Houston in San Antonio in New York and Philadelphia and Baltimore name the city. That have been elected. By these types of organizations because those Chicago those days have pledged. That, they will not put young black men in prison. And? They're not doing it. You've seen the Democrats be forced to adopt force at almost at gun. Point their fears palatable. Forced at gunpoint almost to adopt these bill reform rules. I see a New York state judge finally drop the hammer and said New York police could arrest rioters and hold them for twenty four hours, because under the bail reform rules, they were being processed and released immediately. Democrats are terrified of their own. Brown shirts they're terrified of them. So unless the Republicans in Republicans aren't exactly known for their spines, unless the Republicans as a group as party. Stand up and push back and don't let someone say. Black lives. Matter is just an organization that is about you know promoting success in the black community, because it's not, it is about promoting destruction in America, and it necessarily will begin with wholesale destruction of black communities. I don't know how many of you guys saw this video yesterday. Put it up on my facebook page. An immigrant woman in Washington DC marches on black lives matter protests, which by the way is comp- is overrun with a bunch of woke white people and she starts screaming at them. I am free you do not care about black lives and she starts listing the reasons go to Chicago. Look at the murder rate in Washington DC. You don't care about the destruction, the poverty, the dependency drug dealing all she goes off on them. have nothing to say to her. Except to try to shout or down. This organization isn't about helping black people. So why is that? Republicans are so afraid to say it. Why is it that as a party? Why is it that that that president trump and the Republicans can say the word Antifa, but can't say black lives matter. These groups are working in tandem. They they were, they showed.

"Maybe you've noticed things have changed. You noticed a change that occurred in maybe the last eight days. Scott Walker still the governor for a few more weeks, but Tony Evers is going to be the governor. And it's time for the Democrats take some responsibility for running the state, given the fact that the voters gave them so power to run the state. There's no reason for Republicans to do this road. Let me give you the background. Kimberly Clark operates even the corporate headquarters left Wisconsin long ago during earlier democratic administration, they continue to operate to large factories in the FOX valley area. Kimberly Clark is in the middle of a large, restructuring and downsizing. They have a dispute with their union and their plans are to close both of the plants in the FOX valley area. The Wisconsin state assembly has already passed that incentive package. It's not facts contact numbers. But it's not small. It's about seventy billion dollars aimed at convincing of the keep one of the plants in the FOX valley. It's located near Manasseh. While the Bill passed the state assembly. The state Senate took no action on it prior to the election. The Senate is back in session, obviously now here after the election to deal with a number of issues in the Kimberly Clark Bill is still out there at according to a report on GSI online today. Republican Senate leaders say they still don't have the votes to pass the Bill. Some Republicans are in favor of it. But others are not. Before the election. There were legitimate questions raised and I'm not saying it's the right stand on the issue. But it's certainly legitimate to ask. If the state of Wisconsin is going to come up with incentives to try to provide a major manufacturer for southeastern Wisconsin FOX God. Why won't you do anything to keep an existing major manufacturer? Like, Kimberly Clark. What do you care as much about the facts valley as you do about Milwaukee Racine? Kenosha. That's the suggestion. That was made others have said the just because you did Foxconn does it mean, you have to do everything. Kimberly Clark is profitable. They're not losing money. They're making decisions plant locations that have a lap to do with the attitude of the union of the local communities that they're in. And there are some Republicans who are wondering why we're going to provide an incentive to accompany. Who's union won't even agreed to pay cuts of their own an incentive changes of their own in order to make the plant here. More desirable for them to keep. No as I said, I think each set of incentive packages has to be decided to other on each situation is different. You can simply say we're not going to be getting involved in economic development, and you could dry up and blow away as some states have done. You could also go so hog wild on it that everybody who comes down the pike and says they want money they want money, you give it to them. You want to do that. I would certainly think that this package makes a lot more sense than the massive guaranteed that the federal government has given for the court Tura Milwaukee. On the other hand, the fact that it makes more sense that a stupid deal still is at resent enough to do it. So where am I coming from? You wanted to where I'm coming from on. This Paul says he wants to know where I'm coming from. Here's where I'm coming from. If this Bill is going to pass the state Senate, I want Democrats to vote for it. And if they don't vote for it, let it die. Let them start taking some responsibility here their side now has been empowered with the governorship. Every democrat of the state Senate says they're going to vote. No. And after they vote. No, they'll blame the Republicans for losing Kimberly Clark. Well, guess what? The election is over the Republicans have nothing to prove to anybody anymore. If the Democrats want to save Kimberly Clark, let them put up about eight or nine of the votes that are necessary to pass this thing to the Senate. Remember now, we're still in the so-called old state Senate, the Republicans have eighteen fifteen majority after January first Andrei Jacques comes in and the guy that he beat. I think his name is forced mid eastern. Wisconsin goes out the Republicans will be nineteen fourteen but twenty well, that'd be the governor. You could simply wait pass the Bill after Iverson's the governor. And then let him veto it. If he doesn't like it. Which I suspect he wouldn't do. It's time to start calling. The Democrats bluff on some of these things. What had initially looked like Kimberly Clark was going to leave. The Repub the Democrats all jammed up say Scott Walker cares about Foxconn. But he doesn't care about Kimberly Clark. Then the Republicans Pasadena and the assembly for Kimberly Clark, it suddenly the Democrats don't support the very deal that they just told us they wanted us to pass. Well, then here if you're the Republicans at the state Senate. If you could get eight or nine if you're a beverage the vote. Yes fi. But don't put any more pressure at anybody else. Did you so tell the Democrats that come up with eight or nine votes, and if they don't have the votes would then we are going to keep the Kimberly Clark planet, we won't pass the incentives. The Democrats ran for office. Right. I guess that means they want to govern. Well, then then let them start taking responsibility for some of this stuff. We're going to do a deal here making a compromise deal. So I'm telling Republicans in the state Senate that if they pass that if they go twist all these arms to try to get to seventeen votes with the Democrats don't put up any they're being suckers. You've got to state Senator a democrat whose district is very very close to that area Hanson from Green Bay you'll have to explain to him where Kimberly Clark is and will have to take a fair amount of time to do it. So the dole Dave knows what it is that you're talking about. Let's see what is Dan said this is he gonna vote against jobs for an area very very close to his own. No. Most of the FOX valley state Senate the representation is Republican. The Democrats pretty much though represent anything other right now than Madison, Madison and Milwaukee. But. I see no reason given the results of last week's election. For Republicans to feel as though they have to solve every single problem in the state. And then take the crap when somebody doesn't like the solution. Let the Democrats chime in and see what they want to do with Kimberly Clark at work out a deal at both sides. They wanna put something on with it. Then I'll take a look at it. But if the Republicans pass this Bill, here's what's going to happen. You know, what's going to happen? They pass it. It's Scott Walker signs, it the Democrats rep import and Tony Evers will be the beneficiary of the fact that Todd that Kimberly Clark state of the state why do this for that? Why given the fact that they're governor would be the beneficiary if if Kimberly Clark stays, let them put up some of the votes to pass it rather than making Republicans take some Republican is this is nowhere near the facts valley having to take this vote and then put up with crap and criticism for it. So any Republican who doesn't believe that? This is a good idea should simply not vote for it. And if no Democrats supports that and Kimberly Clark loses while they had the opportunity to come on here. I was mentioning in yesterday's program that it was odd to be that. There was absolutely no coverage other than dano Donald report on Friday about a shakeup at very prominent retailer here in southeastern Wisconsin kesslersdiamonds there is a story on GS online today. And they report the same thing that Dan has reported which is that Kesslers which is an hour employee owned company over the years. Richard Kessler had sold off chunks of the company to his employees. He was apparently forced out by the board of directors. Nobody's giving a reason for it. Other than that, they're going to stay true to the mission of the company so forth. And so on the story in the newspaper since it as a personnel matter. We cannot share what a tale as the one hundred percent employee owned company. Our employees owners are committed to continuing moving the company forward, we've had a leadership succession plan in place since July of of 2017. There's a guy named Joe girka who is the president of kesslersdiamonds. He succeed. Richard Kessler who remained as chairman and CEO of the company cusses his based in Germantown, but has very high profile Jovi stores throughout southeastern Wisconsin. They are obviously a major advertiser, and w I s n and also everywhere else. Certain this. It's accurate to say that they're the biggest well, take it back. I mean hack does a lot of advertising there a few others that do a fair amount. But it's a very high profile company and Richard Kessler himself is high profile because virtually every ad. They've run forever has been focused on him and his voice in his style. And his unique approach and his advertising style in the way that they some of the practices. They have that has engendered criticism of their competitors. And you've heard advertising saying that as well. So anyway. This is an extremely well known guy. It's always weird when you see somebody forced out of a company that they founded. But it happens all the time. Yeah. I mean it happened. It happened with the original owner with the original founders of apple. Jobs left. And then he came back. It happens generally, the most prominent example right now that I can think of is Steve Wynn got forced out of wed this past summer after there were allegations of inappropriate behavior on his part. But you know, you take a company public or you have a bunch of shareholders and you start the company as your own it. But now you don't own more than ten fifteen twenty percent of the stock often, they're moved on. I'm trying to think of another case of this. But. Mean it's happened quite a bit. I just can't really at some point. Didn't they kick? Colonel Sanders out of control. Well, they must have been is that all about trying to figure out which of the people which of these characters are actually real in which ones are not like. Was there ever an aunt Jemima? There was not was there ever a Betty Crocker. I do too. No. There was never a Betty Crocker that was fictional. What about the cough drops ludens? There was what was the other coughed or what's the other big cough drop name not halls the the other one I think there was one of those also it's like half and half. There was as we all know there actually was a Colonel Sanders, and, you know, back in the day, you know, now, they do these stupid things at different actors dress it up as Kurt do you? Remember the old commercials with the actual living. Colonel Sanders was of or is that before your time. Eight probably died in the seventy s I'm guessing. Who's doing a thing? The other. Colonel Sanders is doing one with. I would just talk to me. I did not even know that. I'm just talking about the both of them. Colonel Sanders is holding up aunt Jemima. How could almost it's not racist. Isn't this just seemed like it has to be racist? Watch somebody's gonna claim that it is. I can't even say doesn't that seem like it's racist zero is what somebody's going to claim somehow it is racist. Is that what callers are saying that it's racist?.

"Lebanon video with you on this Friday. Of course, the Friday forum to different people from to watch of life guests today both been here. Many times, Tracy Johnson. Suggest safer back to the governor's race. All right. So the governor Scott Walker's been the foil of Democrats for at least eight years, you can probably go beyond that who's the next in line as the target of Democrats the social media foil the target of their ads and their opinions who's that person, Tracy. Well, I think Donald Trump is going to do a pretty good job of keeping that story going into kind of go back to the the elections. We talked a lot about this thing in a diamond on on Donald Trump. I guess I I see it as much I think over overall and over casting all of the election it may have. But when this came down to it, you kind of hit it on the head. It was really after Scott Walker. And we were talking earlier though, what Robin Voss you've said in. I mean, he kind of put it out there. Right. I had him on the show this morning. He's all in on saying, look, we're not going to give up the progress of the last eight years because we have a democratic governor. And I believe Robin boss when he says things, and I think he's pretty clear on what the intent is. I just don't know how that's going to play out with a new ministration and the voters in the states who even though we don't like it put Tony Evers in that position. But isn't that interesting that that the assembly and the Senate is still overwhelmingly Republican I think that speaks to the fact that people people want progress to happen, and again, the messaging and the politics of of the governors election. I think just kind of got away from got away from us. Before the election. It's Madison and Milwaukee. That's that's the driver of the Tony givers win. And I think the rest of the state, I think I agree with you. They like where the state's going it played out in the law school poll right track wrong track numbers. What was it? Fifty five percent said we're going the right direction. It's hard to ignore those numbers. I was talking to a woman from lacrosse this morning, actually in it. I hadn't heard this post-election. But what she said, it was that the the road conversation actually was top top of mind is just the condition of the roads in the fact that there wasn't anything done or it was even addressed during the campaign by Scott Skywalker reliability. And I think that to be again optimistic which which I haven't been on the future in the near term future. Is that is a potential bipartisan effort that could move forward. CJ? Yeah. I mean the biggest villain. Let me throw it out there. Senate majority leader, Scott FitzGerald, I think if you're reading the tea leaves that's going to be very difficult caucus, that's a very conservative caucus. That's actually more conservative. And you know, I I haven't listened to your show yet. But I would say that there's probably more agreement that Voss and Everts can come down on when you were talking about roads gas tax increase, and you know, it's something that fits has just said as a non starter. And oh, by the way, his caucus will not go along with that too. Jason I gotta weigh in on that one, but that divided caucus, and that always fascinated me as you've got the really conservative than the more moderate always fascinated me. And I always thought that would be an issue. But I think in many ways it keeps a good check and balance at least within that very strong ssat majority. All right, let let's put our democratic hat sounds since we're on the other side. What do you think? Tony. Uber's is thinking I I read a statement on the show earlier. He is saying look I have I have a what he thinks is a mandate from the voters. You're not gonna get my way. What do you think he's thinking at this moment when he's hearing the comments from Robin Boston, and Scott FitzGerald, and how does he approach this? I mean to be is. I think he's thrilled. I mean, so with all due respect to the Republican leadership. I probably would have waited twenty four hours. I think they went like six hours after Walker was quick conceited. And I think that gave us the opportunity to play the on the adult in the room, and I'm trying to bring everyone together. And I think that's what's going to come. I think we're going to continue to get routed by Uber's. If I if I'm Tony Uber's. Best case worst case. You know, the best cases he kind of looks for areas to compromise. Kind of tries to stay above the fray tries to look for opportunities on transportation on spending increases for schools. The worst case. And this is the case, I think most realistic is that he's gonna take an approach from the Obama administration where he's going to say, I got a got a pen and a phone and I'm going to use it. And he's going to be pushing -secutive orders pushing the regulatory state in trying to accomplish liberal policies not through the legislature, but through the agencies, well, speaking of the agencies, I think one thing we're going to start to see over the next couple of weeks, and where we're really going to be able to tell how he comes down on these things is when he starts to to to appoint those secretaries, and we start to hear those names surface. And that I think is is going to tell a lot are they all going to be the people from Madison are they all going to be? Yes. Are they all going to be sixty years old and having retreaded through the system? I'm just just. Hypothesizing? But we kind of know where this is gonna sound. They think they have a mandate is so just to sum up your optimistic Tracy from from your environment working in real estate and a lot of economic optimistic, and I'm generally an optimistic person. I am not optimistic about the near term future. CJ where are you at? So I just I have it. Right. Well, keep in mind, I work at a conservative law and policy center. And we've done a number of lawsuits against the state superintendent, Tony we've gone after him when he's I mean, heck, we're still scheduled to be in the state supreme court in the spring against state superintendent the office of state superintendent for violating state law violating the reins act. So we kind of expect him to take that mindset into the governor's office. It's going to be interesting next few years in Wisconsin. All right. We're gonna shift to national politics after the break, Tracy Johnson CJ, safer, more the Friday forum right here in WTMJ. I called MRs crane to thank you for trusting metal roofing systems with her new permanent metal roof. I went on to explain how she's going to love her new metal roof and that the transformation was going to be breathtaking. Well, she put me in my place. Mrs crane explained to me that she didn't hire us because our home was going to look she invested in a permanent metal roof because she knew that her husband would never again have to go up and shovel off the roof. You see she's been trying to keep Jim off the roof for years with a metal roof. The snow'll just slide right off every few days or so and he won't be going up there for ongoing maintenance because there is no ongoing maintenance. These are just a couple of many reasons why you might consider a permanent roof over a temporary conventional roof..

"This is a Fox News alert. I'm Carmen Roberts. Republicans lose a seat in the Senate has Nevada elects democratic congresswoman Jackie Rosen to the upper house. Florida's Republican governor Rick Scott is headed to the Senate. We all know that change never popular, especially when you're talking about how you're going to change government, Scott defeating democratic Senator Bill Nelson to flip that seat. The Wisconsin governor's race incumbent Republican Scott Walker calls for a recounts democrat Tony Evers with a slightly there. And for CONGRESS Republicans do keep control of the Senate. But Democrats flip the house to blue. The White House is going to have to adopt a greater town of bipartisanship. If it helps to get anything down. I think there's also going to be a lot of rancor between the White House and the house. Fox's John Roberts at the White House. This is a Fox News alert. "Preview for us this morning of his take on the United States census and what needs needs to change dramatically to help America to kind of a big deal here from him. And at, eight oh five Josh Kraushaar from national journal in with. All of this primary results from yesterday will give us his analysis and what to. Expect for November I'm Vince counties alongside me this morning is Joe conscious media reporter for the in for Mary Walter, who. Good morning sir these c. j. c. and DC not being PC I kind of morphed into Cosell there at. The end but thanks for having me is love doing it thank you very much that it's it's a lot of, fun. So far this morning a lot to talk about Yesterday some primary results around the country a couple of a couple of states had, some elections and in them You know we go over to the midwest in Wisconsin Tony Evers is going to be. The democratic nominee he's the public school superintendent in Wisconsin. He has been for the last ten years or, so he, will be the democratic nominee against a governor Scott. Walker he beat back a bunch, of rivals, very easily nobody else. Getting above twenty percent political reports and people are people and they're saying this is going to be. A very competitive race between Scott Walker and Tony ever, so very close one to watch coming up in November but it seems like Scott Walker is the. Teflon candidate like everything. That's ever been thrown at him he's he. Skated through he's by by the skin of his teeth he's succeeded, as he's, face recall after recall. On election after election Scott Walker just persists. In Wisconsin so we'll we'll, see? What happens in November. He's had a lotta practice right he. Wins, that election, then they make him win the election again But it's funny because Scott Walker, actually was, considered a front runner. For the Republican nomination before a man named Trump came along and then that that changed everything look. He's he's seen as a favourite in Wisconsin and there's. No reason to believe after he's won so many times that he couldn't win again the only thing. That you'd probably have. To battle as Walker fatigue at this point. Right and obviously Republicans in general don't have the best brand name, right now, so everything is competitive. Right well wiscon- here is here's Scott Walker. Speaking to some of his, supporters? Last night after winning, on his on his ticket the GOP nomination Voters in this state are going to have. A very clear choice between do we want to continue. To move Wisconsin forward or we're going to, take a giant step backwards because think about, that before I was your. Governor Wisconsin was not very good at, that time, in terms of where we were headed yes Scott Walker happy with that you know. The big thing of course with him is his his a confrontation with unions in the state. Has been a long running so Democrats have a special place in their in whatever the opposite of their heart is for Scott, Walker they do not like this. Guy, hey look and and he could run really on an economic platform you know what the unemployment rate is in in Wisconsin I don't. Even, know if this is possible but apparently mathematically it is Vince two point eight percent, two? Point eight, I get the, national averages around four but boy it's hard. To run against somebody, when? Things, are that good in your state economically once you have Konami it's hard to run against somebody in really put some, holes in there In the record here's his, opponent yesterday Tony Evers I've seen parents and, families struggling with rising healthcare. Costs and stay stagnant wages I've driven, as you, have on crumbling roads and I've watched as Scott Walker has made the decision after. Decision that benefits himself, and his wealthy donors and not what benefits us the people of Wisconsin Yes so there there, he is over in Minnesota I mentioned you know governor Tim Paul anti former governor. Tim. Paul anti running to get his old job, back didn't work he'll lost in the Republican primary yesterday to Jeff Johnson and this is so apparently wasn't even close the Associated Press. Calling the race Johnson Above Paul anti fifty three to. Forty four percent Johnston had the support of President Trump temple anti did, not and saying in his after his concession yesterday this is the era of. Trump and I don't fit into that very well you remember Paul lengthy of course being namedrop. Constantly as maybe future president of the United States and of course he did actually. Make a bid for it and didn't. Work yet remember in two thousand twelve before Paul Ryan was picked as mitt Romney's number two Tim was a definitive favorite. Before that happened he was seen as the next big thing you know kind of a moderate. Republican a moderate state and now where do you go from here is is it. Fox News or CNN at this point. Because that seems to be the only option I'd be surprised if either hire him on sleep but you know. I mean policies never really excited the viewers as far as I can tell but you never. Know some guys do end up there he was, criticized for his his career in DC after his presidential, I am visions and that was used against him in Minnesota, as is so often done when people choose, to, spend some. Time in DC before they go back to their. Home states I also, wanna get into you in a moment Keith Ellison. And how it his day, was, like yesterday electorally in light of, all of these, new, accusations against him and whether the DNC has remained silent six forty three wwl you get more for your money at Thompson creek this is Mary Walter and I. Know firsthand that Thompson creek window company does it all they design build and install replacement windows to.
