"Tony Cats today. The attacks in Israel continue. While there's a push and a desire from President Joe Biden for a cease fire that does not stop Hamas from continuing more rocket fire, nor does it stop. The Israeli defense forces from continuing to move in a way to continue to protect the people putting out on Twitter. Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze Over the last 11. Days of Mosses fired rockets indiscriminately indiscriminately at all Israeli citizens. In response, we have been precisely targeting the source of terrorism and Gaza. We will continue to do so. That source, of course, is Hamas Tomasz, a terrorist organization sponsored by Iran. We know this. To be fact. Unfortunately, they're far too many American politicians. You don't seem to want to know what the reality is. Tony Katz, Tony Cats today It is good to be with you on Facebook. Tony Katz radio. Major grown. Spielman is an idea of spokesman two of the foreign press. He has been a part of the second intifada, the second Lebanon War cast lead operation in the Gaza Strip. And a serious of other Excursions. Deployments and exercises. He joins us now from Israel, Sir, I appreciate you taking the time speaking to us about the latest that's going on responses from the Israeli defense forces. Let us start with the latest the latest attacks today and casualties. Absolutely Tony and thank you for having me. There's been in assessing barrage of attacks today. Um, I just got back from Ashkelon. Which for your listeners, Escalon is a beautiful city. Imagine Indianapolis is the beautiful city. The only difference is four miles away from the edge of that city lies the Gaza Strip. It would kind of be like Indianapolis being four miles away from Tehran on beautiful city with high rise buildings that was there instead of home, which Had just sustained a direct rocket attack hit a direct hit The woman, the mother of the family, and her son, who was there, They decided to go into their protective shelter when they heard the sirens he only had about 20 seconds. The entire home incinerated around them, and it was just a miracle that they weren't injured. And so Hamas is continuing with this barrage. Is there just firing off into the air? Hoping that those rockets will kill Israelis? Askew mentioned they killed Israelis. Jewish Israelis, They killed Arab Israelis they killed yesterday to Thai workers. Whose families had to be notified and you know overseas. And ironically, Tony, you know, one out of every five of those rockets lands back in Gaza, and there's Children and Gaza. 16, Children and gods were told over the course of two hours from their own rockets. We should take a second to to engage that and the way you describe that a difference between Palestinians, people living in Gaza and Hamas, the terrorist organization. There's a difference between the two exactly the people living in Gaza. The Palestinian people living in Gaza, Hamas was kind of thrust upon them. Hamas came in a brutal takeover, a number not that many years ago. Just over a decade ago, they took the previous regime, which was the Palestinian Authority and literally through their leadership off the roofs of the buildings in Gaza. And took over and the people in Gaza you know they don't They don't have a voice, so it's difficult to know them because there's no dissent against some US and Gaza. You know, it's not a good policy like insurance policy to complain against Gaza and You know, for years, 1000 people worked in Israel. Israelis lived in Gaza. They work together and Israel is no beef with the people of Gaza. We we would love the quality of life of the people in Gaza to improve, but Just to put this in proportion. Today I tried bringing someone to the area's crossing. It's a It's the humanitarian aid crossing and I couldn't get in. Why couldn't I get in with this person who was a reporter? Because Hamas has been bombing their own humanitarian aid crossing the last seven days, so we couldn't go in the people of Gaza are hungry. Talking to Major Doron Spielman, spokesperson before the Israeli defense forces one of the hits that idea has been taking at least in some levels of American press, and certainly from Uh, leave the punditry class is that there was a building that was taken out that was housing Hamas and headquarters but also housed The Associated Press and some other people, other journalists types We know that warning was given. How has I d f responded to those people, Whether it be in the United States or other places saying You're taking out you're going after journalists? How could you You know, the best that we've been able to do is we've asked questions back, such as a swell again. The journalists are not to blame. But it is somewhat bizarre that it's not only a Hamas target. We have to understand that this building that 18 l zero and housed Hamas, his research and develop advanced research and development wing, which is another way of saying that is where they were producing the means to kill Israeli people. And it was a primary target and you know, we did warn everybody, and they did. Nobody was hurt in the explosion, but the press for a long time he asked us provide proof. There is obviously an intel element of this person who couldn't share publicly. But we shared it with the United States government and they accepted it. But again that the conversation I do think needs to be turned around and said What? Why were you you were riding the elevators with these people? For years. You never kind of figured out. Maybe it was a good place to be, and I haven't had any real answers to that..

"Tony Cats in the 93 W E B C. Moesha. We first heard the story. It was box Booker Lake Monroe saying that he was walking with some friends around Lake Monroe. He is black, his friends, I think white. Came across another group people all white. The next thing you know, they've got a box book are pinned up against the tree. That's where the video takes place Box. Booker claims that they were going to Lynch him that they called for a rope. To do just that demands for their fur arrests to be made of this group of people are seeing in a video. There's yelling there screaming. There's commentary, all sorts of things. Some of it very, very not what you want to see. Certainly we don't know why box Booker was pinned up against the tree. Then the defense comes out and the lawyers come out and say This is not the case is you know it fucks booker was the aggressor. When the other when the defense started coming out. The defense started coming out for Sean Party. Who is the one of the people involved with pushing? Ah, box Booker against the tree? That's when we said OK, we can have this conversation. Tony Katz, 93 w IBC. Good Morning. There's an FBI investigation and I am waiting for the FBI investigation. But now we have a he said. He said. On this case, and the Baldwin joins me right now from Baldwin Perry, and I think it's called Came ish km. I asked H the attorney for Sean Party. Who is the group of guys and girls who were there. Lake Monroe, who claim that box Booker Waas, a trespassing They're the group that had him pinned up against a tree and their claim is no, no, no. They were restraining cause Booker was attacking them. So let's start from the beginning, sir. And I appreciate you taking the time to be with us. I should note that the lawyers for box Booker have been invited on the show that was sent by my producer Ari Castle. We have not heard from them yet. If we hear back, we invite them on more than happy to conduct. On interview with them look forward to the chance to speak to them. This story has got national attention and your contention is it's got national attention for all the wrong reasons. That's right, Tony. Thanks before I tell the story, I think you need to tell you a little bit about the accused your box book of think that context will help in the understanding of the story. That's okay. Well, we'll see what you have to say. And then we'll see if it's okay. Mark first thing that I think important to know his box Booker has been picked out of the Black Lives matter. Bloomington Branch this reported on by the Bloomberg That part doesn't matter. Let's get to the story in question were going to go. We can discuss his character all you want at a later time. That's what you're going to Dio. Let's start with the story. The story is is that VOCs Booker and his friends came upon Your group, The group that you that you're defending, and it was the first totally amicable. Yeah. Okay, So this is on July 4th around 2 p.m. and the property in question is private, and that is owned by Caroline. McCord Carolina court is the girlfriend of Sean 30 and it's butted up against a public for us that people can't bad and it's not unusual for people. Teo wander on you to play the property, and that's what happened on the day box. Booker wandered on city private property, and Sean will tell you he ran into him. He was on his four way lose. Shawn was and he said, Hey, this is private property. That's unusual. But you know, we're just private. So can I take you where you're supposed to go? Box said. Yeah, Here's I'm over this campsite like I know exactly where that is. Come on in the four wheeler and all the take out their mouth here a few minutes dropped him off. Book of said a man. Thank you hated him appear on the 12 pack of Miller genuine draft that he had, and they went on their way and everything was fine. I mean, that's that's that seems like a pretty normal kind of interaction. So that happened at what time early afternoon. He has about two o'clock is what Sean thinks. So what happens next? When did box Booker and his friends and was he with his friends at the first time was with a group of people just by himself? He was by himself. So then how many hours later? He come back with friends. About four hours later, Tony roughly, and one important thing. I think that might have happened during that four hours. It was there was a boat. That was going across mineral or lake and it had a trump sign on it and the people that were with Shawn Uh, they, you know, cheered and clapped for that Trump boat. And so that is, we're wondering if that's what triggered the next thing that happened four hours later with Booker. That was in between. And then what happened? Next is Sean, Our client is kind of at the dock area and his girlfriend Caroline McCord, is up near the woods and out of nowhere comes box Booker. And he's hot and he's angry and he's yelling that he said. You know, I am. I am a county commissioner. And you are a racist and I'm going to ruin your life. And I'm going to find you on the issue Find against you. And Caroline's there by herself with a three year old daughter, a 13 year old daughter, and he is in her face like 12 inches away, pointed his finger at her and Sean, and by that time he has come up from the water area, whether we're the Lakers You see something going on? He doesn't register that this saying that it was there earlier. He has no idea what's happening, and so he goes into separate down. And, you know, create space because he's trying to figure out what's going on. And then Booker punches him in the 10 in one of three at least three punches and that one pretty much not Sean down and you know caused him to lose for a second. Like when people get eventually they lose consciousness for a second. The Carolinas worried and they're all freaking out. This guy's out of control. And the next thing they know, Uh Dee is about five feet away and Booker is against the tree He's holding on the tree and that guide it was so loud, so boisterous. Yelling is now quiet. And he's holding on to this tree and Sean gets up and says I don't want to hit any more. So he then tries to its training this guy, by the way, Booker Six foot £300 roughly our guy, Shawn. It is 58 maybe 1 60 About that time they notice three or four or five people coming out of the woods with cell phone cameras videotaping it. The book. Is there quiet? Ok now I got now I gotta take a step back with the Andes. It's the 93 W IBC Match up. Jamie. Progressive number one number two employees leave a message at the cage. Aimee. It's.

This happens on MSNBC, and I wanted to share the almost the whole clip for you right. It's Craig Melvin, who's introducing it and you know, we wanted to hear from medical professionals about sending kids back to school. How this got onto NBC blows my mind. Stop what you're doing and listen. They picked five doctors. From around the country are experts agree. Most Children don't get a sick of adults and a serious complications are rare. This has been a strange pandemic because usually for respiratory viruses, Children are the first and the most substantially affected. This has really been a flip of that, where it's are adults, and particularly are older adults that have been more effective. In fact, kids only account for 2% of all cases. Doctors say they don't expect that number to significantly increase when school's open because kids don't appear to be good at spreading the virus. Our kids is good at transmitting the virus is adults. The data that has come out now seems to show that most transmissions her from adults, adults adults, two Children, a younger you are probably the less likely you are to be able to transmit the disease. Well, many teachers are concerned about reopening school so soon. Five doctors. We spoke to agreed the benefits of being in the classroom far outweigh the risk of disease. But the key is to reopen safely. We are not seeing Visions were possible guidelines think each school system is going to have to come up with their own guidelines. Because you can't just say that one city is just like the next. All agree guidelines should include rules for social distancing. Keep desks 3 to 6 feet apart and makes your desks aren't facing each other schools may want to consider holding gym classes outside. Well, that's certainly acceptable for warm weather places harder in the cold weather. But are you hearing things where people are saying? My goodness, Do not? Do not? Do not send your kid to school? They're going to die. No, As a matter of fact. You're hearing just the opposite. In your perfect world of sending gives back to school. What would you like seeing set up in the school systems. They should try Tio. Increased air flow in the classrooms tried to distance as much as possible. I have been doing a lot of research looking into face masks. I don't think they're necessarily useful in elementary school Children they do. Provide protection. I think for Isil students, would you let your kids go back to school? I will. My kids are looking forward to it. Yes, period. Absolutely absolutely. As much as I can. About a hesitation without hesitation. Yes, I have no concerns about sending my child to school in the fall. I will My kids go back to school. So high school kids wear a mask. If not just protect each other, but protect the teachers and the administration. The elementary school kids don't even have to bother. But every doctor, five doctors interviewed every doctor would say, Oh, absolutely. I send my back kids back to school. Absolutely. Positively, I would send my kids back to school. So the question before the house is what exactly is Washington Township talking about? What is it that they are saying? What is it that they're doing? Why are they doing it? Where's the science? And the question that follows up is where in the world are the parents in Houston? The teachers union is calling for a virtual start to the school year. Why I got five doctors here from the doctors of Indianapolis. We have to. We can have school. Do you know how much of this smacks is political that you're willing to use Children as shields to keep things up ended until the election. Isn't that when we thinking about California it is madness. But answer the question. The doctors are all wrong. Where's the science? You're really focused on. Did you talk to the parents at all? Or is this just political? Let me go to Randy. Randy. Welcome to the show. What's going on, Randy? Good morning, Tony Washington Township. Just past this big referendum, you know, to raise.

I think except that when people were brewing as they were coming up the field it's not just all it was about that but it was also about him leaving it's also about this team that's what I want to get into with you this seems like the second time in three years that the Indianapolis Colts lied to the fans about what was going on it was a calf strain it was a magical thing it was bone thing now it's retirement how or GM Ballard Chris Ballard and the coach Frank Reich discussing this and are they aware of the fact that for the failing side never will get to the team a second for the fans side there is all lot of mistrust of

Trump hails 'treasured alliance' between US and Japan
"President was in Japan. And the president was there, of course, to work a deal on trade. But it had a couple of other interesting pieces to it because it was more than just an idea on trade. Certainly the president discussed the importance of the alliance over the past two years. We have developed a close entrusting partnership that we greatly cherish your majesty the first lady, and I will never forget, this gracious invitation, and we thank the people of Japan for their incredible hospitality and warm. Welcome in this. Majestic land. Majesty into spirit of beautiful harmony may we celebrate the many possibilities of this new era. May we remember duties to past and future generations. And may we protect the cherish bond between America and Japan for our children. Now. The whole your majesty thing might be throwing you may or may not know that Japan has an emperor. It's you know it's not necessarily the most commonplace thing. I mean when we talk about World War Two, we talk about the surrender Japan that was that was hero. Hito the emperor today is not a heat to. N. A. R U, H, I, T O. And that's where a very unique bit of symbolism comes in to the story, Tony cats. Ninety-three WIBC, great to be with you. The big part of the meeting was President Trump Shinzo Ave. The prime minister having a conversation about trade because that's what you have a conversation about the tariffs haven't had an effect on Japan as well, the US, not happy with the sixty seven billion dollar trade deficit that goes on with Japan. They've been discussing tariffs on automobiles on agricultural products, people feel good coming out of the meeting that according. To CNBC, and I don't think that you're going to have much longer an issue regarding Japan, which is to say they will come to a trade deal quicker than maybe others, certainly it will come at the expense of China in. That's how it's going to be leveraged. And that's one of the reasons it's going to get done Japan has a very unique relationship with the United States. If we I mean my goodness, talk about new, we're talking about just being seventy plus years removed from from World War Two, and this is how chummy it is. And it is Japan recognizes that their future lies, in a strong relationship with the United States because it cannot line a strong relationship with China certainly not with the threat of North Korea. You live within the Pacific rim. You understand what China's situation is growth that they're engaged in their idea of Gemini, their desire to control the seas, you need the United States, as your partner and your ally. This is why we're going to see a trade deal happen. More quickly than others certainly happen before China and will be utilized as a way of engaging pressure on China. China will then try to extend pressure on Japan. But the bigger symbolism was President Trump and Melania Trump. The first lady meeting with emperor Naruhito at the imperial palace in Tokyo. The reason that it matters is that Donald Trump was the first world leader, the first to meet the emperor. I mean it's, it's so it it has the new emperor, the new empress. So therefore, he was the first so the symbolism and being the first is always something that people talk about the bigger symbolism is that here is a nation that doesn't look upon Donald Trump with the derision that our media apparatchik tells us he is looked with Ephraim everybody else he is in hated. He isn't reviled. He was warmly welcomed. He was loved the video of him at the sumo matches you kind of see it. It's incredibly trophy. Oh, the look of Milania Trump of watching wrestling going, what am I watching? It was great. But that is not this is not Sadique Khan of, of the mayor of London. This isn't angle Merckel. This is a warm embrace. Now, is it because their future security may depend on it. Okay. I don't mind the politics. But they went out of their way, and that is worth

"To manufacture a crisis, stoke, fear and divert attention from the turmoil in his administration seems that's causing a bit of a stir. Tony cats. Tony cats today. Eight three three Tony that's the number eight three three four six eight eight six six nine. The speech from the president last night. Well, really went down a lot of ideological paths with people saying they liked it or didn't like it based on their politics. The question is how did it move Republicans and Democrats on the hill? How will it moves senators how move members of the house? Are they going to stand firm behind the president stand firm for getting funding for a wall? Is there a deal to be made one of the people? I had the chance to speak to is congressman Susan Brooks from the fifth district of Indiana. And did the president congressman Brooks make his case? Yes, I do believe the president has made the case and is trying to educate the American people about the crisis at the border. I will tell you that I traveled to the border back in July of this past summer. This was when it was in the middle of the family separation discussion, but what I saw absolutely shocked me. I went to a facility where. We were holding thirteen hundred over thirteen hundred boys. I think what he talked about. Last night is the untold story at the border. These were boys from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, about ages eight to about fifteen and our laws don't allow us to return those children to their countries. Now, their families are paying smugglers, untold amounts of money to bring them to our country because they know they will be cared for this really is a humanitarian tragedy and what's happening again. I'm really glad the president focused on that last night as the worst seeing unprecedented numbers of families and unaccompanied children being brought by smugglers to the border. We had over sixty thousand people come across our border in December alone new October, November December. Either off the numbers chart. I mean off the charts numbers over twenty five thousand of those were family what we're called family unit apprehensions that was in November alone. So we've got children many of whom are coming though without adults. We are taking the men were providing them healthcare, we're providing education, but they are in these detention in these facilities, then being placed either with families or people that we I don't think I've done a sufficient check on as to who they are that they're being placed within this country or we're holding them in dozens upon dozens of around the country. Let me ask you congressman Brooks part of the Indiana delegation. Congressman Andre Carson said that President Trump is manufacturing this crisis in from the response yesterday. Here is Senator Chuck Schumer tonight and throughout this.

Baker I'm confused a great day Jim Acosta, exactly, what is his, plan I'm Tony cats great to be with you eight three three four six eight eight. Six six nine. Because Jimi Kosta thinks that He's the. One being abused you heard. There that it was the Trump rally in Tampa and people are screaming and yelling Jim Acosta. Angry with Jim kosten Jim. Acosta he seems truly confused truly lost at the idea that, anybody would be upset with him Stunned these maverick he put out on Twitter this is true this this. Is Jim Acosta CNN one of the surprising things, I heard tonight in Tampa is Trump's supporters. Saying I. Should be on their team anybody remember when we were on the same team I do Who exactly is he talking to, right there What is he talking about when? He's talking about all? On the same team what was that exactly You mean we're all on the same team when we wanted to report on. The election of two thousand sixteen and journalists weren't taking sides proactively for Hillary Clinton against Donald Trump they weren't. Proactively stating that they were giving up their journalistic integrity to ensure Donald Trump? Didn't win the election Who is he talking to How in the world? View come to this place anybody remember when we, were on. The same team I do Well this led, to a A piece that is in the, Washington Times by Larry, O'Connor Larry, O'Connor's a friend Larry O'Connor's. A fellow radio host. You, you catch him on On. Radio there in DC And he wrote magilla constant CNN don't understand about the angry crowds at Trump rallies And what he says is that Jim Acosta is saying that I'm very worried that the hostility whipped up by Trump and some in conservative media. Will result in somebody getting hurt we. Should not treat our fellow Americans this way. The press is not the enemy that line, has got, the press very upset the president enemy, of. The people fake news conversations etc I. Have discussed this in on many different occasions. And and I continually remind people that the, press is not simply a victimized observer in this, case They are the ones. Who made this happen when you. Were willing proactively to speak out against President Trump didn't matter what it was and not fully look at Hillary Clinton you have culpability. In this situation And it. Is a situation I, won't say now is the press the enemy the people know are there. Members. Of the press who? Are, willing to. Lie repeatedly to move, forward their agenda they've given up journalistic integrity they're actually not journalists get somehow want the respect and somehow this do privilege of the reporter absolutely should they get it no it shouldn't but to. This point Larry O'Connor writes that what Mr. consta- doesn't understand is that. The, anger and hostility and loathing he sees on the faces of Trump supporters in his video, is a, reflection of the same hostility they see on. The faces, of anchors reporters and. Analysts on his network now there's no doubt? That people look at CNN and they look. At MSNBC and they say my God these people are are are nasty and vicious and mean and crude an awful why do they treat us like this one and they talk to us like this with it's this constant. Talking down to it's disgusting and It's awful They don't want to be treated, like this how many Americans voted the way they voted because they were sick and tired of being. Called racist they woke up. Every morning they went to work. Every day they took care of their families and they paid, their taxes why they're also racists. And bigots You couldn't least cut him a, break couldn't give them some slack But I don't think. Larry O'Connor has it right Larry O'Connor's break He's a friend, as I said it is not that Jim Acosta doesn't understand about the anger. And the hostility it's that he does not accept that you have the right to have any. Anger or stability you see everything would be better if you would just. Listen to him everything would be better if you're, on his team everything would be better if you would just listening, because after all, he's the press. He's the media he. Knows what's right The issue, the fundamental issue. With elitism is not It has no dollar amount to. It you agree Richard bore and be an elitist you'll. Be a man or woman and be an elitist the issue with elitism. Is that they believe they know better than you. And the. Problem is you didn't listen to them Everything. In America better if you just listened. Everything would be better if you just do. What I say this is exactly what Barack Obama was. Beginning to end Jim Acosta's the same way why are these people so. Mad at me I'm just trying to save them The issue is. Not that he doesn't understand the issue is?
