Dinesh Reveals Why Elon Musk Is Giving the Left Panic Attacks

"I want to talk about Elon Musk and Twitter and I speak about this with someone who has an almost vested stake in this because quite honestly, the great traction behind our movie is in part being driven by Twitter. I don't mean the Twitter I was pushing, and I mean the fact that there's free speech or something closely approximating free speech, this is how we can talk openly about topics and quite honestly we can't talk about the same topics on a number of the other platforms. And but you'd be like YouTube. And Facebook. Yeah, I mean, those platforms have become a joke. I mean, we're still on them, at least for now, Debbie's like, who knows how long we're going to be on those platforms. We don't know and quite honestly, at the end of the day, we don't care. But let's come back to Elon Musk because his vision for Twitter. And he's going to be in the saddle very shortly. It's really important. I find it kind of funny, by the way, that he's been kind of whipping Jack Dorsey into shape because Jack Dorsey was kind of like the big tough guy that John Travolta character and calling the marching orders. And now Jack Dorsey appears to be like Elon Musk's sidekick. He's like tonto and Elon Musk is like the lone ranger. And so Jack Dorsey now says things like, no, no, no. We can't permanently bound anyone from Twitter. Wasn't I'm the Jack Dorsey that Trump got permanently banned. So now that Elon Musk goes no prominent bands, Jack Dorsey is no point in bands. It's kind of fun to watch. I mean, it's like watching a bully who's been reduced to groveling because another bigger guy has

Cuomo's Fourth Accuser, Karen Hinton, Speaks Out

"About Governor Cuomo. And we have with us here on the show his fourth accuser, Karen, hidden Karen, you seem as we were talking about before the break. Very protective and feel really bad, especially for some of these younger women. Um, you are the same age right as Governor Cuomo. So you thought you you had been experienced in terms of dealing with Politicians and a whole bunch of things. But of course, never anticipated what had happened here. Do you regret that you didn't come forward sooner? Yes, I regret it. Uh, but on the other hand, I Never. There was never an opportunity for me to speak about it because there had not been any other public accusations. And you know, at By the time I had turned 40 I was no longer working for him and didn't work for him again. Um, you know, we weigh moved my husband on my second husband. I boot from Washington to New York. He began working with Governor Cuomo as his director, state operation. And um, and so I wanted to be supportive of Andrew's position as governor of New York and I wanted him to do well and I had unhappy a great deal of respect for many of the programs and policies he's put into place. I mean, the work you did around gay marriage. Was was very moving to me and very important. To this country and the work he's done in Cove it even though he's now facing criticism and rightfully so. His handling of the Because the manipulation of the numbers or the nursing home deaths occurred, whether it was in the hospital of the nursing him. That's very problematic and rightfully so, and we should be concerned about it at the same time. He also has done a very good job of of one of the first governor because it was one of the first hot spot to really take control of the terrible situation and try to turn it around and the death and the case is dropped. And they're continuing to drop now. But do you wish like maybe do you think maybe if I had said something 21 years ago He could have. It could have illuminated his behavior could have stopped his being out late. Do you think we live in it? We live in a country. Even they, uh, you know, it's problematic for the young woman who are coming forward. Now they could end up losing jobs or not getting jobs in the future, and people may want to stay away from them. And so, uh, my decision to do it now we try to stay. You can't speak out. You don't be silent, Speak out and support these women so that they can continue to function and have vibrant Important careers because in 1998 When I'm working for Andrew Cuomo. And then, of course in 2000. This was a time when they've been so much that the board about Bill Clinton's womanizing. And I did not want to find myself in a position where I could lose my my job. I could not get another job. I could lose clients who might hire me as a consultant after I left Hut. Wait. The country was not in a position to try to believe a woman. Did anybody believe Monica Lewinsky at first? Did anybody believe other women from Arkansas who accused Clinton of inappropriate sexual behavior? No. They made fun of them. They called them been those They called him trying apart trash. No. Was I going to Uh, come out and say something about Andrew Cuomo in 2000. No I had anyway, I just decided not to do it for fear that that it would hurt me would hurt my family. And so I just opted not to say anything. Then time passes. And, uh, Andrew, an odd developed a friendship. I'm now married to someone he has known for a long time. Um, So you know I wanted doing I didn't want Oh, Tonto in any way harm that relationship, um, that he Had with my husband, So I just decided to keep it between my husband in May and another friend. That's it. That's what I was going to ask you. You told your husband and you told her friend. Um, did you ever tell? Did you ever talk to the governor and say Hey, what happened? Whether it was, you know the next day or a few years later, Or did he ever say anything to you Apologize even No, no, I wasn't gonna bring it up. I didn't want to have that kind of drama in my life. And, um s O. I just I'm just let let it nothing happened. It's not like he physically abused me in any way he let me leave. And, um and and nothing happened. So I just wanted to leave it there and looking back on it. Should I have done that? I wished More than anything that we lived in this society in 2000 turn of the century that we lived in the society where that type of behavior Would rarely happen when you're dealing with a person you are paying money to for help, and you're in a position of power, but no That's not wasn't the case in 2000 and 21 years later, it's still the case. And, you know, I'm now 62 years old. So you know, I've got I've got a life ahead of me that doesn't really involved. Um, um, Anyone needing to do me favors and get me a job? That sort of thing? How much money do you need to be happy?

"Time and time again. Research has shown that not on Lee You need a finite amount of money to be happy, but that prioritizing things like friendships, hobbies and family may actually lead to long term. Well being. Reporter Brian Walsh, it Milly has a look at some of the studies. Briana, What are we learning? Well, I think that what everybody knows is that Americans are pressed for time right now. And the pressure that you don't have enough time to complete. What you want to do is leading to a lot of unhappiness. So that was kind of the overall scene that I found from the article and the really most important muscle. That I learned from the study published in 2018 in nature, human behavior that sounds that the ideal salary for life satisfaction is $105,000 a year. Not for an individual or a family it would run for it would be $210,000 a year, but basically it found that if you make less than that, you struggled to pay for loans. You struggle the paper based that kind of life necessities. And if you make more than that, You are often working harder and spending less time at home, Speaking with Freon Walsh control contributor at Millie, and she's written a piece entitled Here's Exactly How to Spend your Money if you Want to be happier. About the value of time and there also, I think positive, people said they were kind of more happy when they were focused on hobbies and friendships. Yes, exactly so that people who they this is a study that just studied 1000 recent college graduates and some of these recent college graduate chose careers. That were more intrinsically motivated, meaning that they would spend a little bit of their week working. But they had a lot more free time. And then some of the recent college graduates chose careers that were extra sickly motivated, so they were making a lot of money on, you know, hypothetically saving money, but it's something that the people that shows the careers that were left high pressure and left high stress often. On prioritize things like friendship. Andre Spending time on Hobby is a lot more, and that generally leads to more kind of long term feelings of satisfaction and happiness about the impact of just to a little bit of savings. Yeah, that was really interesting. You know, Atsu beginning of the pandemic, we found that a lot of Americans did not have that three months of emergency. Fabian's only 23% of Americans. There's a lot of talk about how you know Americans or not. I'm not really been able to say then that leads to a lot of Anxiety, especially the bigness of pandemic when everything shut down. But in 2017 researchers with the Urban Institute on the families that had even a little of $250 saved Avoided. Ah lot of things like being evicted, missing belt payments, applying for payday loans that have long term really negative financial consequences. So this idea that you have to have the reruns of emergency savings is great. The reality is that most people don't have that much money on. Moreover, you might not even really need that much money in order to kind of feel a sense of safety on kind of happiness in your daily life and finish up with that study about how giving away money makes us feel good. Yeah. I mean, I think that's pretty obvious. You know, if you walk that somebody you know who's asking for a dollar on the street, you feel a little bit better if you give away that dollar, as opposed to just kind of ignoring it. Um, well, if you have a friend who's going through something really rough, buying them a coffee feels really good. So these researchers 2017 at the University of Dork gave 50 people $100 and told them to give it away over the course of four weeks. Um, excuse me. Half of them are instructed to keep the money on. Half of them were instructed Tonto give it away, and the people who gave it away reported much higher levels of satisfaction and happiness. S so the lesson is that you don't need to be like a philanthropist like just basis and feel good giving away money. You could give away that pocket change or whatever. And it really does kind of lead to similar feelings of doing something kind for

‘Bachelor’ Matt James Dumps Show Winner Rachael Kirkconnell Over Racist Past

"It. What's going on with the bachelor? They're having a little ratings trouble. The bachelor had a lot of trouble last night. Um, For one thing, this is the end of the season for with the first black bachelor and you know that there was a big scandal that unfolded. Wind up round up, knocking out Chris Harrison, the host of the show, who was not on last night. He was replaced by another guy named Emmanuel Art Show, and Chris Harrison is probably out for good from the Bachelor world. Next fall. They're coming back with two seasons of the bachelor red. He's not hosting it. On. The reason is That the black bachelor Matt James chose as not to be his fiance, But I don't know what his winner of the final Rose Ah white girl from the South who had participated in Plant, a plantation party. I didn't even know apart. We don't know about this in New York, Dewey, a plantation party. They go. They rent out plantations and dress up like it's the before the civil war. And the governor's these southern governors with the black face from years ago or the sick? Yeah, And who knew that this was going on? I mean, we don't in New York. We don't know about this, but This was a shock that this girl participated in this ante bellum party and subsequent when the news got out in the pictures were published in all the tabloids, especially the English tabloids picked us up very fast. And what happened was Rachel Lindsay, who had been the first black bachelorette Interviewed Chris Harrison for extra and showed him these pictures and said, What do you think of all of this? And he defended it and said, Well, I don't know. Maybe this was okay a couple of years ago to be doing this. Well, certainly not ever OK? And, uh, Rachel Lindsey said Theo said to Chris Harrison on extra. We'll look at these pictures of this plantation party. What role would I play in this party? Well, obviously, the role would be slave. And this was like this stopped. This ended Chris Harrisons career cold and stop the conversation. And this woke this guy. I met James up to the fact that this girl that he had sort of proposed to, uh, you know, had persisted. Hated in this racist party. Well, of course last night on the show. He dumped her for good. And and she had Tonto try and explain, although very inadequately how she got involved in all of this and that, and she said she never even thought of it. So, uh, you know, very strange stuff. The audience really tuned out during this conversation about race last night. They did not want to hear it. They only want to know about the bachelor and bachelorette when it comes to rose petals on the bed. And, you know, flying and hot air balloons. Biden Signs $1.9 Trillion American Rescue Plan Into Law

"I'm Chris Foster the Democrats coronavirus, financial relief and stimulus plan to sign into law by President Biden. Historic legislation is about rebuilding the backbone of this country on giving people this nation working people middle class folks, people built the country of fighting chance. Nearly $2 trillion American rescue plan passed with precisely zero Republican support in the House or the Senate. Presented a plan at the White House. The president found two beef two small so Democrats with their new majorities in the House and Senate. Go it alone, passing the first bill dividing presidency. Well, they really wanted was to find a way to go. Sure in their liberal progressive pay everybody built in Scott's Republican senator from South Carolina. We spoke to him yesterday. Unfortunately, they were able to succeed at that, but hopefully we'll have a chance to push back on it. It is one of the most ridiculous pieces of legislation that has so little to do with covert relief and everything to do with the progressive wish list. I mean, you could have these calls for bipartisanship, but in the end, they really they just needed Joe Manchin and other centrist Democrats, right? Absolutely. When you look at what they've done, they were able to Tonto. I don't want to go or buy off, but they were able to negotiate with the mansion. To lower the unemployment from 400 to 300, But then they extended it. The September said. In a different way, I believe what we sit what we saw happen. There was the are now paying people to stay home even longer, Not through June or July. But now through September. And interestingly enough, Chris the unemployment rate has gone down, not up. We had 379,000 new jobs added to the economy. The last thing we need to do is extend the unemployment benefits until September, when in fact the recovery as fragile as it is. Continues. Center. Ah, lot of Americans are very happy about are going to be very happy about this film, including some of your constituents. South Carolina's got something like the 10th highest poverty rate in the country and a lot of people. Gonna be very happy to get this child tax credit and getting essentially huge races in their take home pay. What do you tell them? Well, Chris, this is this is a baby. Well, honestly, the road to socialism starts with one step. And the bottom line is that what we're looking at here is not paying people for increased production, not paying people for increased challenges that were brought on by the government. They're simply making this into Progressive approach, ushering in the first few steps of socialism, and that is a huge challenge. A new study shows that all the covert stimulus caused each American $17,000. That That means that we're simply pushing ourselves in the wrong direction with these resource is being put out there. But, yeah, people like money. There's no question about that. But when they understand that they have to pay it back. You like it less when you add interest on top of that they like it even less. And when they understand that they may be compromising the future of the next generation of Americans by spending money today that we don't have that we have to borrow from China. That the bad thing for every single American in every single American child that we have the generations to come will face an avalanche of debt unnecessarily. So because of $2 trillion under the guise of covert relief, when, in fact, it's social policy that transforms the American economy. And now this, I mean, look, it's only got through because of budget reconciliation. We're spending bills. Be passed with 50 votes and no filibuster right now. Other than spending bills are Democrat. Is this a last gasp for them? Or are they gonna get anything through their voting rights bill The House passed this week and infrastructure playing this gun legislation pending If they can't If they can't get any GOP votes on anything. Might they just throw their hands up and say Fine? We're killing the filibuster. Everything needs 50 votes. Way I watched your mansion trying to walk through that minefield on Sunday, and the truth of the matter is what he said Woz that he is willing to make the filibuster harder to use that is very dangerous. Stiller Buster conversation is a slippery slope. We know that you give the Democrats inch They want a mile, and that's not good for the American people. And frankly, the agenda of the left is so radical that the center right country that we still have Is going to have an allergic reaction to the medicine brought to the table. And that may be very good for us in 2022, prayerfully and 2024, But Maurin importantly, it is just bad policy and the stench of it will, I think made people noxious. The more we see the thought that we're going to give a 16 year old the rights of vote because they believe they do better with younger people that we do doesn't sound like they're looking for a way to level the playing field. The thought that they want to nationalize elections. We should be looking for ways to limit Mail in ballots, not expand mail in ballots. We should be looking for ways to expand voter. I d not eliminate voter I d. So what they're trying to do is position this country not to recover from their lurch and then leaked to the far far far left. Those are dangerous position in their HR one. And you and I both know that we're gonna have to fight tooth and nail to protect the second Amendment. We are in for that fight. We're in it to win it. We will, because America was founded on the concept that we must be. We must have. The resource is in the arms necessary to defend ourselves, period. And that must stand and that is one of the things that's one of the reasons we should be very thankful for our Constitution, and especially

Biden boosts US vaccine stockpile as world waits

"President Biden announced a deal with Johnson and Johnson for another 100 million doses of their single shot. Covert 19 vaccine. Christopher Roland is covering this for the Washington Post and spoke with Cuomo's Taylor Band sites. Christopher Do we know how long it's going to take for the U. S to see delivery of these additional 100 million doses? Well, this additional $100 million is just probably destined to arrive in the second half of the year. Really the way that the administration is framing this and the president just a few minutes ago in the White House. Are framing this as a precautionary step. I mean, there were the U. S already has more than enough vaccine, Tonto on order to vaccinate, you know the entire adult population. Almost twice over, But But what the president said, is that the nation needs to be prepared for the eventuality that there's going to be things like. Variance, you mutated variants that require a booster shot. Also, there's the strong possibility that early next year there'll be a pediatric vaccine, a pediatric authorization. And at that point there will be new, fresh demand for a whole new, You know, young population of young people. So really, what the administration do is here is this is all about stockpiling supply at this point. Not immediate supply in the next few couple of months. You know, I think I got a little bogged down or lost over how many millions of each vaccine has been ordered and delivered in all of that. When when all these purchases were made, and stockpile is grown on. What not? Is there a deadline or or killed by date on these vials of vaccine or or is there A pretty long shelf life. They have good shelf life as long as they're frozen, you know, and kept in a deep freeze on refrigerated and also remember there being rolled out. You know, in the tens of millions each month on then use pretty fast S O the president's promise that there's going to be enough available by the end of May. We're all American adults to get the vaccine. Then you know, actually getting it through the pipeline at the local level and into arms will be enough. You know, a bit of more of a challenge, as we all know. But by summer, you know, there's a possibility that you know everybody wants a vaccine should be able to have it so But no, there's not too much danger of these things expiring. It'll be in a stockpile stocked away and it also be Made on a schedule that's live, you know, every month all year long. The heads of Mark and Johnson and Johnson were speaking today just before President Biden took the podium. How vital was the partnership between those two companies in making not only this new $100 million purchase possible, But in building that stockpile? Both companies have not been transparent on that front. To tell you the truth. So and they're not discussing how many new vaccines Merc will be making of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, the president has said, and last week when he announced that extraordinary, unprecedented partnership That they'll be doubling essentially the back the total jnj vaccine supply s. So you were talking definitely hundreds of millions of doses of vaccine. To come on, you know, later this year and into next year on at that point Depending on how much the U. S is going to need. And if there's variance and boosters required, you know that could be a problem. But then you might see some of that begin to get shared with the rest of the world. There's a huge Get growing concern about the gap between the US and

How to leverage social media for business

"Mistakes, so to speak, that people are making when it comes to online because, you know, I always say that there's literally like newborn babies on social media. All we have to, you know, you've got your older people who are just starting Tonto catch up to the trends of social media is starting to really learn about it. And so we've got everybody from the whole spectrum of ages from all over the world over a billion people alone. Just use Facebook. So what are some of the mistakes you see people making and what are some things that people should be there? When it comes to leveraging social media for their businesses. Well, I think it goes back to being culturally aware. So one mistake that springs to mind is coke that sent a bunch of you know young white kids to Mexico to launch a new type of coke. When you bottle. I don't remember the exact thing there. But that was seen as being very ingratiating to the Mexicans that they needed. These, you know, white kids from the US to come and show them how to do something. Was making really know exactly so I think he really got to do still the deep research and now there's a lot of information available about audiences, different cultures, how those things are going to be received. So just because somebody else made something go viral doesn't mean it will translate very well. And typically, if you try to replicate somebody else's viral campaign, it'll fall flat. Editor-in-chief of the National Journal, Jeff Dufour, Discusses Manchin's Role in Senate Negotiations

"Let's go live now, with an update on Skype to Jeff Do. Four editor in chief of National Journal. Jeff in the plainest language possible. What did mansion get that caused him to change his mind and end this Well in the context of a $1.9 trillion bill. Uh, not much. These air presents pretty small provision that took nine hours. The final deal essentially is $300 per week of federal unemployment assistance through the end of August, the house had wanted 400. Said. It's bringing it down to 300. It was originally supposed to expire at the end of September. Now it's going to expire at the end of August. Essentially now one of mansions things was he wanted Tonto. To exempt the taxi. You want to accept the tax exemptions from this two households making over $150,000 a year so currently, if you get these jobless benefits, you can deduct tow up to 10,000 of that from from your taxes. He said. That shouldn't apply. If you make more than 100 $50,000 a year in your household, and it appears the Senate is going to agree to that now, the votes technically still open, even though they supposedly have a deal. I mean time wise. A lot was made out of Senator Ron Johnson last night, forcing the clerk to read the entire bill, which took hours. But this one vote on one Amendment has now taken longer than that did last night. And this is the first vote in what they billed as a vote A Rama quote unquote to come. So they're in for a lot of overtime in the Senate this weekend, the Senate record as you mentioned for longest vote has been broken again because all of this the previous record was from back in 2019. Is this something like the longest vote a sign of serious dysfunction on the hill? Or is it a sign of something else? I don't know The dysfunction is any greater than it has been in years past, which is still pretty significant, But it's combining that dysfunction with a 50 50 senate. I think I think we know a couple things now going forward Number one. This bill is probably going to go to the house like this weekend. Like you said, we're barring anything else on foreseen. They're gonna sense that the president for his signature, it's gonna give Biden his first big victory as president. But maybe more importantly, we know now that any significant legislation like this is going to be a real slaughter and a real challenge to pass vote Counting is critical. And there's all kinds of procedural hurdles that a senator, One senator can throw in the way in a 50 50 Senate now that applies to three bills at the House passed this past week that high up on their agenda. The voting rights package. The George Floyd policing reform and extending civil rights toe LGBT Q Americans, It's going to apply the unorganized labor bill and and gun legislation that they hope to pass this week. Those five just to name a few are all going to need 60 votes in the Senate. And if I were a betting man, I'd say they're not going to get it for most of them. President Biden, who you could almost jokingly say it's still a senator. He's you know, inextricably linked to the U. S. Senate, he called mansion directly. One wonders whether this deal could have been done without the president's efforts. And some people, I suppose, would be encouraged to see that he's getting involved. Others would say, Man, it's a bad sign that the president has to get directly involved like that. And I would also say this is probably not going to be the last conversation that by the mansion have during this Congress, because, uh, mansion is for people who count these things. Mansion is the most centrist member of the entire Senate. He is the swing vote. In the Democratic caucus, and he's the most important vote in the Senate right now, and he knows it. He's gonna exact every bit of power he can out of this toe, get what he wants for his state and for his And just for his for his views to make sure that whatever passes the Senate reflects his

38 killed as Myanmar protesters suffer "bloodiest day" since coup

"Mass protests in Myanmar against the military coup just over a month ago. Wednesday was one of the bloodiest day so far with reports that 38 people were killed after the security forces opened fire on the demonstrators. And yet today Thursday, large numbers of protesters are back on the streets despite that threat of lethal violence. This footage was taken in Yang gone the main city and captured the sound of stun grenades and tear gas being fired at demonstrators. have also been reports the live rounds of again being used today. Well, the protesters reinforced barricades with tires and barbed wire, many chanting in protest. Been talking to one leading pro democracy activist in Myanmar, also a former TV host in Yangon. She's thin zah suddenly who's been telling me more? Do we have in horror, serious, fatal shooting yet, But we've been hearing arrest being conducted by the police and authority. So and also we'll worry about the detain people there. 1000 people already got detained and some of them are already ensured that they couldn't meet with their Even with the lawyers, But what lots of people are still come out onto the streets, even though it was so dangerous yesterday exactly. Despite all these brutal killing yesterday, But today we witness large numeral people even more than yesterday, you know, get on street, especially on those area with the brutal Crackdown in me engine in mo. Your more people in Ah, in a township level protest happening the whole day today, but on people scared, scared for their lives. Obviously, people are scared for our life that we are more scared off the future like our generation's future If we don't resist if we don't Ricks our life right now than our generations. You can't would live with us forever. And what can you tell us about these reports of protesters barricading blocking off their streets? That happened since the crack house that it so in yesterday as well in no local Oppa, where the Buddha crackdown happen in the angle the block in the last gig in the main road. So that military track cannot come in. So and then, when we can block the roads, then the protester can protest in their own place in a safe are, you know in the far distant place? Um, not just make sure very Kate. You know, because the military you nick and military in Yemen are patriarchal societies. Also now woman are using their and the well, you know, as buried as a barricade as well. So you can see today's photo. These soldiers are so busy picking up you know all these trying to destroy all these very gay because they can't get in and under the woman and away because they feel like if they go into that, then they don't have any dignity at all. This is a kind off social norms that they have religious noon. So it's stop them. It was actually working on. Is it true that some members of the police have bean abandoning their uniforms and going over to the protesters? Is that right? It's not like they're going directly to the protest area is like they're deciding the police stations and they're joining the CD M 70 so we don't movement because of the brutal killing. They would not the experience and they couldn't Um well, they orders anymore. So we're seeing today more more. Policemen are joining the civet. So Vidia movement, But how many is it Just is it just a few Compared to the other day. It was more like we're seeing around 30 30 like as reported from the new sources around 30. Police meant, um in the nationwide level are joining. I think They have many more were not reported. You know, even I was helping. Ah, police meant, you know, running off in the early morning just yesterday because he couldn't wait any day. You know any longer, Tonto to get our office Police stations were about to speak to the United Nations Human Rights Office in in Geneva. I just wonder what would you say to them? The United Nations being in phone about me or my situation for a long time since 30 years ago, the ethnic minorities from my country are being reported about the project killings, arbitrary arrest and all these things. Find the same army in the same pendant. You know, indiscriminately doing the same thing to us theory ruins of people as well. So the United Nations is already in for more than enough. Just that they need to actually add on that

"Tonto stock their countries, especially in a difficult time like this. These days in Palm Beach County. We have roughly 14,000 births each year, so there are a lot of families out there who needs support and healthy mothers, healthy babies. That's that's what they do. They provide support to whichever of those families needed. And how did you become involved in healthy mothers, Healthy babies? And well for me. My family is the most important thing in my life, and I had an amazing childhood growing up with fantastic parents in Connecticut. And I've been married now for 23 years and living in Florida here in Palm Beach County to my wife, Africa, and we have two teenagers name own and Parker and that's absolutely the best part of my life. So a few years ago in 2017, when I was looking for a way to invest my time in the community. Found healthy mothers, healthy babies, and it was so appealing to me because I thought if there was any way that I could help families with challenges received the kind of joy from being a family that I've received in my life. That was That was how I wanted to invest my time. And once you start working with them and volunteering for them and to see the incredible work they're doing in the community, you want to keep going to more. Now we know that our friends in the nonprofit world the 501 see threes, and the charitable organizations have really been hit hard by the pandemic. And, of course, the quarantine, especially, you know, coming and taking out now. Who the fund raising seasons and it's It's caused all of our friends and in that world to look at fundraising in a different way and s O now is a good time to talk about baskets for babies. Tell us about that event. Run That's so true, so healthy mothers, healthy babies big event every year. Big fundraiser every year is an event called moments traditionally, and it's a big gala affair where we rent out a country club and we haven't been able to do that the past couple of years. So This year. We thought we would try to come. We actually had the idea to do this. Before the quarantine was it worked out. The timing was fortuitous, so we wanted our event to be a simple online type of event. And we came up with the concept of shooting a basket because I felt like that was sort of a universal touch point. Everybody does that at some point of their lives, whether it's at school or in your driveway or even fall off a piece of paper in your office and you fired into a waste basket. We felt it was. It was something everyone could relate to. And we started Take a lesson from the ice bucket challenge. And so the event itself will be, uh, people shooting a basket post filming it hosting the video of the basket. I'm lying on their social media. And making a donation and inviting their friends and co workers and families to do the same thing, and we're hoping it will spread organically That way. Um, far is the name came once we had the idea. We were kicking around names and someone said just randomly baskets for Bt's four in the middle of illegal. Yeah, that's it. That's the name. We were lucky in that regard. I can tell you enjoy doing this. This brings you a great deal of joy. Oh, yeah, It's true. I mean, the people. First of all, I love families who doesn't love mothers and babies run like that. First thing, right? But then the people that healthy mothers, healthy babies, they're just fantastic. They're inspiring toe work with and work for. And yeah, Z the best part of my day. Always when I'm doing some work with healthy mothers, healthy babies Well, we were talking a little bit about fund raising and events like this and groups. Like healthy mothers. Healthy babies depend a lot on sponsors. And you have some great sponsors on board of for this event. Tell us about your sponsors. Yeah, I would love to. So Ah, um, I'd like to shout out some of our big sponsors so far that we have that I think financial That's the credit union where I work, where the largest credit union in Palm Beach County. And Florida Power and light. Lewis Longman and Walker OV END up O B G Y N specialists of the Palm Beach is Office Depot. Hubbard Radio X 102.3. That's you know, are always super supportive of our events, and we're so appreciative of that. Also 97.9 WR Anna And Florida Atlantic University. Athletics have been really supportive, and if there are any other companies out there interested. We have sponsorship packages at the event website. But also we're just inviting companies to sign up for the event as a team. So, for instance, that's one thing we did in my credit union. We made a credit union team at the event, and then we're all gonna have our employees joined the team and shoot our baskets individually, but then post them as a team and sort of raised money as a group. Now this event, one of the great things about the event is anyone can participate. It's open to the public, and all you need is some sort of a backstop. That is true. You don't even need to backstop run because he didn't do it in your office. Just ball it up and shoot it into a waste basket or into your laundry basket. But that is very true. Anyone can participate. As a matter of fact, already the event isn't technically start until March. But I have one young friend who's four years old. They many the baller, who has been posting videos with his mom on his instagram page, and he's already raised over $600 for the event. So, yes, it's even a four year old Any age to participate and you touched a little bit on the website. I assume that's where folks can go to get more information and to submit their their their video. What is the website? Yeah. So the website for the event is, uh, there's a page at the healthy Mothers Healthy Babies website. So I'm going to read the, uh the address. It's H m h b t b c dot org's Boards slash basket. That will bring you right to the event page. And that's where you would find up and potentially make a donation. If you're able to, and then you get a link once you sign up, and then when you actually shoot the basket you posted on your own social media with the link to the events that other people then could do the same thing. And you mentioned donations and dollars races in this event will support the healthy mothers Healthy babies in Palm Beach County. Absolutely right. So every dollar raised from the event will go directly into the programs that benefit pregnant families in Palm Beach County. So a couple of the programs that are my favorites that healthy mothers healthy babies has one is named taps and cribs. And that's a team Mom mentoring program that helps younger families have AH, safe and happy pregnancies, and another one is called basics.

"Being an arbors? Well, an arborist is basically a tree doctor. Um The, um You know, we usually come to this. There's some places that have, like urban forestry programs, orb or culture programs into colleges, or, you know, degrees and forestry like mine. Um, but the difference between a Forrester in an arborist is like the difference between a rancher and a veterinarian. There you go. So you know, typically as an arborist, you know, we're looking at, you know one tree of the time. As you know, from in healthcare standpoint. Where is this A Forrester? You're looking at a stand of trees. So you know, you can lose the odd tree or two as a Forrester and still be okay. But as an arborist You know you're trying to protect the trees and someone's yard and losing the tree oftentimes is not an option for them. So Um you know, we'll treat trees for you know insects, diseases, you know, soil nutrition, soil compaction, cabling, bracing, pruning and in some cases, lightning protection. How do you do that? Um, you actually install a lightning protection system in a tree? It's very similar to one that would go on the house. But we installing lightning right at the top of the tree, right? It's e mean there's an air terminal. That is not huge, but it's attached, you know, woven copper cable that run down the tree and very s so that we can ground it. So this bar that still have a pretty good intern. You'll still do Intern programs, huh? That's good. Okay, Let's get back to the phones. Talk, Tonto Joy, a joy stand, Marcus the morning joy. Good morning, Harry. All we're doing fine. How can we help? My daughter wants to plant crepe myrtles. And we're wondering when a good time is to do it. And the purpose of them is going to be well, not only because she likes them, but she wants to use him like a the border along the front of her house. Kind of like maybe a fence line. Okay, So if you want him to grow 6 to 10 ft, tall, which would be kind of a Border fence line, but really not printing them. Real formally. Lead and be real thick. You probably want to look for dwarf. Or semi dwarf selections. Will get 6 to 10 FT. Tall. Because you really don't want a top or really did that much turning on them. You probably want to make sure you space them out. 5 ft Off center where they kind of grow into each other, but at the same time Make sure they have enough sunlight, proper air circulation. You can plan them any time of the year. Um, uh, you just really have to source. The That what the tree has doesn't have fall color. The hue color the color of the bloom and dark red light red pink, ex cetera up. The best selection is when they're starting to bloom, not only around town When the nurseries and garden Center start receiving them. So probably may in June is when you're probably gonna find the The largest selection. But if you go to a reputable place, and they have good inventory in properly tagged Trees that you're that you're looking for planning this week, and if you can find them Oh, really? Yes. Definitely. Okay, So you think like 5 ft apart, he said, Yeah. If you want him to grow up to 10 ft. 5 ft spacing Want off center One center to the next. Is adequate. Okay, any certain brand, or I don't know if that's the right word, but it really depends on the color that you want, because they have They have so many different names. You know, they change all the time from the size and the size, So that's the key, right. There is the color. And the hue of that color that you want, because red is pink to me and vice versa. So that's why a lot of people wait till marriage in When they're blooming to make sure that they not only confined the best inventory, but that color that they're really, really like. Okay. All right. Well, thank you very much. Good luck. Thank you. I appreciate the call..

That comes a day after multiple news outlets, including Bloomberg obtained a phone recording of President Trump pressuring George Election officials to find the votes to overturn his loss. "Everyone to furlough one day a week. But when you take away 1/5 of someone's income Who's a single mom and doing everything right toe be employed and has never needed help before. He's of the bumps in the road that we are there. Specifically to help She doesn't need a big, huge program. She doesn't need anything except a neighbor who's willing to hold her hand and walk with her in this part of her life. Jerry the power of the food that our network distributes is seen immediately. And the economic value that it provides to a household. And in this case in this story you just shared with us. It also illustrates that it brings to Billy as you said, to lose 1/5 of your income. Oh, my gosh. That's who could survive that. I don't care who you are right? I mean, and then you know, just to be able to tow Tonto to give her that since that She's empowered. She's been made in her life very well. And this is a huge problem. But yet she's found a solution that's empowering for people and that's the power of the food. Absolutely. And I and I want to point out here's another household with kids. You know so many of the households that come to us our households with kids, and when I talk about the faces of hunger, I can't say enough. The vast majority of the people who need help. Are people who are living close to the poverty line. With kids. They're raising a family and for the most part They make it work. Like cry sometimes. They need some bit to get over the hump. As you like to say, Doctor. They've got a little bit more month and money. Right? And it's up to us to come alongside of them and help them where their act not where.

"Welcome back. Don't handle here. This is a handle on law Marginal legal advice. Hey, Dennis. Welcome to handle on the law. Yes, sir. I called the law back about my wife passing away and you help me out? I got another question. We have assurance from policy that we've had for 30 years. If I called the insurance company and produce it or give the insurance company a death certificate. Well, they have to rewrite the whole policy again. Well, hang on. What was the insurance policy? Who's the beneficiary? Who had to die? Okay. It was it was for you know, for a mental home. It was just for property destruction, You know, like a prior or anything like that. No, I don't think so. I don't think they have to rewrite it. No, uh, because, yeah, it's not one of those things. That is the question of ownership. It's not one of those things that where anything changes whatsoever. Uh, it just it's insurance for Ah, piece of property that is owned by both of you and one of you is not there anymore. So the insurance still is in place. I mean, you could call them. But I don't think they're gonna rewrite it theirs and if they do you it's just because they're being nice guys, but I don't think there's a problem there. I think I think you're fine. Okay. The other thing is, if I do get a hold of what they make me Changed the title on it before they write it or hang on What title is it's? Ah, it's a mobile home. That okay, that you the both of you own. I don't think so. You know, I really don't think that change the title because you Yeah, I don't think so. No, I think I'm gonna be okay. But it's worth called, but it's worth coming. But it's worth calling. I know the policy is in both of your names. I understand that, But I don't think it changes anything. If one of you is not around because it was on the legal paperwork from H p d d that you know, gives a document out for you. No ownership. It says Rye. Got a, uh, the soak up survivorship. Oh, you're finding then that's fine. Then there's a lot on the form. Yeah, that said then you're done. Hi, Carrie. Welcome to handle on the law. My cousin passed away on Monday. I was Pio a for her. For many years she was on medical And in a facility completely disabled. I was in her trust and in her will Tonto to get her house when she passed away. The house is worth a lot of money. It's in Cupertino. I am listed an attorney to make sure that I did all of the admin things correctly. He wants $4000 up front. No problem. But then he said he He takes 1% of the selling cost of the house. Is that right? It depends on what the retainer says. I carry it just It literally depends on the agreement between you and the attorney. When you enlist the services of an attorney, there has to be a retainer agreement signed that specifically lays out. Here's what I get paid. Here's what I charge. This is what you're responsible for. This is what I'm going to do for you, and I'm not gonna do anything more. Unless you pay me And so if it's not in the contract, no, he can't take any percent of the sale. He just discharging X number of dollars, So just look at the contract and if he comes up with, okay, that's it. So you have to know how unusual lawyer trying to go after somebody that he or she doesn't deserve, But maybe it's written in the contract. I don't know either. Able Come away Bul. How you guys? Yes, sir. What can I do for you? Well, first I want to say thank you so much for for the service. You've been to the community on behalf of, you know a lot of people. I'm pretty sure. All right. Abel. Abel. Abel, you could stop right there. Okay, hang on a minute before we get into your phone call. Misty. Just wanna let you know this is our screener. Misty. The next person you put on that sucks up to me. Like able we hang up on Please, Abel, let's go ahead. What can I do for you? Yes. Okay, So the reason I'm calling her I'm trying to find a way. To send a message of, you know of what ever happened to me. That doesn't happen to anybody else. I was working at this company. I was working in.

"In your family. What happened? What happened? Why did they pass? My brother passed in, and he's had a long growing problem with these lungs. Anybody bosom? Anyone's young Pete was in the building trade and he bought a space doses, so his lungs have been bad for about. 20 years. Hey, was told Tonto stay at home, and then he's calmed down. You know, I mean, so. Within five days, even fun. Anything The government has handled current affairs. That's a big question. Well, I'm a bit of a lefty, so I'm not thrilled with the government. I don't think it was the government's fault that they didn't know what we were dealing with. I think they've locked down too late. Look, I'm no fun of this government. I think they were handed a very difficult task. I don't think they've handled it well. On the other hand, we're not as bad as America. There's not been denial. That's not been burying ahead and it is a difficult thing to handle. Do you think this is it? Do you think we're heading back to normal life or what do you think's gonna happen next? I don't think it'll be normal for ages. I think we might have a bit of a patch in the summer when the weather gets better, and people stop getting quite supportive. And then I I really interested to see what happens next autumn. I think it might come back again and Who knows it might mutate. I think we could be for a pattern of this happening in the winter every winter. Does it feel like thistle coded? Time is coming to an end now. Mm. Not yet. I think we're starting to see the end of the light at the end of the tunnel. Exactly. But I.
