So bright in here today the lights up, Valerie, Answer me. You're the producer. Answer me now. I'm today. Yeah, the lights are up. Why'd you turn them up? You want a good look at me. I didn't turn them up. This is how it was. When I left. I think somebody's been in here. Someone's been in here then because when I leave, I turned them off. Right, right. Someone was sitting in my chair and using my headphones using my microphone. Some dippy podcaster. That's what have access into the studio. Who knows what John peek and those types Jill, you know the bosses they let people have their way with our studio and stuff. Get these really nice studios here at I heart and good morning to And it's kind of like, Imagine at your workplace, you have your workstation, right? Imagine somebody else just coming in using it and changing the seat level. And all of a sudden you go to use a computer and the the mouse is different, something it's different sensitivity or Something's changed. That's what happens when people bar studio and controls are out of place and things that you're used to just aren't there. I sit in the same spot every morning and our studio isn't that big. It's a normal South. Nice to is there an indentation? I just wondered, Yeah, like mine is a slight invitation from where I said I don't know. I don't know. Take that the wrong way. Didn't you know where you were going with that? But let's say it was posted in Valerie's chair. It's just a little bit over to my right. But my entire world is turned upside down just by moving slightly to the right right, so disoriented. I don't know where I am. It's crazy when little things are changed. It's crazy. It's like, how do you think I feel this hot light in my face Right now I get it. You know someone's been in here? No, you don't turn them off. Turn him down. Just a smidge. This was a big time for this food lighting because everything I got to turn the lights off for a little more. That's that's off. Little more up good for radio, but hold it right there. Hold it right there, Little too dark. Usually I see more of your face. Right? There we go. Oh, that's nice. You weren't doing complaining. I was now you're the one controlling now. Uncertainty and doubt is gonna leave will be fired. Will anything ever changed from milwaukee this year after playing the heat quite a different story. The bucks wanted the revenge matchup. Like you're saying they didn't run from it. And they straight up dominated. A game was close than three straight blowouts game for the brin forbes game remix. What's twenty two points seven threes. Great in this series they got to bring forbes games so good bryan forbes ended up outscoring jimmy butler in the entire foreign stupidly locked in more like stupidly locked down jimmy. Fourteen points per game on twenty nine percent shooting the bucks. Were so good in this series. I gotta trash talk. Jimmy butler hurts boxer. Better than anybody could have asked for in round one so i don't know there. You gotta be feeling great if you're a bucks fan right now. "Are joining you in the struggle because it feels so much more optimistic about possibilities we have to make a change. I present agree like you. You might feel like you're just one person and that time is running out and you know this is crazy. Fronting moral panic going on a few interesting guessing to Myrtle avenue greenhouse thing. It's just a constant stream group events things get involved in much in like Somebody that hasn't a care about the issue but was that. Yeah Yeah Yeah. I like Eve overseas dedicated so much time and effort into it and I can imagine that like the ice. The frustration of is that you know you're surrounded by people in your daily life like if you work for the street you kind of get frustrated just by looking around thinking. Yeah Yeah Yeah exactly people around you just share the same kind of commitment when it such a pressing concern on on on your heart and I know I'm never going to be able to persuade. Everyone cheesy knots to me. I think we live is legal. Things going on that is just kind of made mass face. And if you're living in all that you know no one has about recycling and almost how these conversations even just seeing someone who's actively engaging seeing someone has the might see might not see a tiny little changed. Yeah Yeah yes just for straightened when it's not other people's first priority whereas the OS. Yeah Yeah but also just on on the other hand. Like just to play devil's advocate little bit deep. It sometimes think is positive and oversee safety number the new more effective when you walk in grapes in those kind of things. Do you think danger that you can sort of surround yourself in your bubble in you so begin to think everything's K. Because these these people around me and my south with this and I serve going well and it kind of like I said. I'm playing devil's advocate. But you ever worry that you take your off the ball because you surrounding yourself with people that make you feel as though everything's going I tell you see now. I think that's what my worry in being pop groups. I thought I think because when everyone around you is mentally concern as long as yes I think the worry is being resized. Is the tons people away from the call because they see usually groups of white hippie goes going out and voting. Heimer and it's actually not something that people feel that they can be. Why did you think is like is it fair to say quite disproportionately lower middle class? Yeah if only you could see us right now. I mean is just so different. Factors that come into that and there are so many groups that trying to walk on that doesn't group which is a completely like non White middle-class environmentalist trying to work with at Sarin what in France to bring in a bit. We'll just kind of make it more environment view like they can just go into. Wayne without being bought another massive thing is that the disproportion between women and men taking strikes and pain cotton environmental action is only still so prevalent. We just take it for. I didn't really get a think. The green pies had like a succession of female leaders as well isn't it whereas other political grapes happened I had one source. Luckily, and just as he was about to sit down he said to the room says look give me a just have to switch off my cell phone. It was a pace of beautiful theater. He stood up. He put a cellphone in his hand. He switched it. All then win put it in his bag in the corner. Brom? What do you think happened for the rest of the room? They all do the same thing. Yeah. Seven out of ten tables, which don't they phone and we'll pay to set in. That moment is the most important thing can offer this room right now is my tension. You have it completely. You know, the the impact of that meeting was completely transformational now because he was being hosted by other pieces of Milan for the next two days. I knew this place of Theta would play out. But it was a very deliberate sawn rather than him saying high of traveled oldest y around the world what I've got to say Madda fully he just role model. Great listening, and when when I talk to my executives about the frustrations that I find with staff members, not listening us. I wore a euro modeling when it comes to listening that simple thing is really transformational. Let's finish up with the other full levels of listening listening at level two is listening to the content. That's audio. That's what I say. It's also visual. It's what you see in terms of body language, but there's a third lie. He is feeling they energy and making sure that you understand, although the body language might be aligned, although. What I say, I might be a lawn to their woods is the energy slightly differently. And a lotta tons people that aren't buying from us will do great job of saying the right things of showing us the right body language, but something just doesn't feel right? There are of endings in your gut than there are in your Brian. So as south professionals, trusting dot. When you're feeling that something's not quite right way, getting different energy. And if you're listening at that level, you'll you'll definitely make a bigger impact on growing poplin level three advanced south people. Do this listening full the context what patents did I speak with did? I speak impulsive, so negatives. Did I talk about themselves individually or did I talk about them? And they teams did I talk about the teams in the system to that talk internally or externally did I talk about the marketplace the regulator the competitors. Or did. I just talk about inside the organization a lot of times if you're listening for these patents. You'll understand how to communicate back to them. Really really well at this level, I often sigh this is when most people might the biggest mistake as south professionals. A southwest professionals job is not. To listen to the customer. It's not even to solve the customer's.
