"tommy tommy tommy" Discussed on Daniel and Jorge Explain the Universe
"Maurier cartoonist and creator of Comics. Hi I'm Dana White's in I'm a particle physicist but I wish I was a physics Jeanie and welcome to our podcast Daniel and explain the universe production of iheartradio in which we take trips around the universe and explain to you all the amazing facts. The hard one slowly learn things we've discovered about the universe not through physics genie's but through hard-fought science. Is that something that physicists really wish? They could have like a physics genius. Who just answer all your questions would snap with a finger or the the rub of a laptop. I sometimes fantasize about that because I feel like the answers are out there like you know. There is a truth about the universe all the questions we have but the universe have answers. Those answers in principle can be discovered which means that just sort of out there and some days I just WanNa fast forward to figure it all out and like. What are the answers to these questions? Tommy Tommy Tommy and so. I wish there was a shortcut to getting some rain verse. You're right it's it's all right there in fact it's like it's in our fingertips right literally around us. You know that ancient humans had about the universe. We have discovered answers to those questions literally by looking at the invisible radiation that surrounds us and so it might be that answers to questions. We have are literally surrounding us in ways. We can't yet understand. Yeah they're right there waiting for us to discover them to see them to hear them. They're all just sitting there. Yup and those people will look back on us in the think. Ha Ha how silly. They were his writing. Who's right under fingertips look at their finger and there was the answer to the universe or sometimes I imagine instead of just like jumping instantaneously to the answer which is cheating imagine life what if I went. Five Hundred Years in the future learned all that physics. How quickly could I rediscovered that now? Like what is the shortest number experiment? You need to do to discover the answers today. Because that's actually possible physics genie's aside if you knew exactly how to build these experiments you learn the secrets of the universe. Yeah so in this podcast. We talk a lot about all the amazing things we can find out about the universe with through. Thanks but we also talk about ways. Physics can kill us and we don't want to give you the impression that physics is a dangerous activity most people winter physics survive just fine hair. Look Daniel I'm not sure which lesson you draw from my experience but it's sort of fun to think also about the positive side of physics physics dozen just Potentially squeezy when burn you up on reentry also potentially delivers secrets of the universe? That's a real thing. Yeah face can be a real adventure and a journey of discovery as well. That's right and so on today's episode. We thought we would take a tour of some sort of potentially fun. Physics adventures. You might be able to take and this was a suggestion from a twitter user. Who sent out this question He he or she gave us Four interesting physics adventures that you could potentially go on. You know Journeys into answering four basic questions. That I have no idea about as today. We're going to do something a little bit interesting. Which is Burgundy NBA running poll so Daniel a few minutes ago posted this poll on twitter. And I think by the time that this podcast come out. You will still have the chance to participate in this poll but in this poll were asking Reposing four different physics adventures or discoveries. Or you know answer you can find out there and we're asking. Which of these four would you prefer to know? And all of these are things that most physicians would be desperate to do would scramble for an opportunity and one of the challenges years like just picking one. Because frankly I'd like to do them all. You're like I'll take ask for five all right. I'll do them in that order or take a dessert menu go. I'll take one of everything. You answer is yes. Yes yes yes. Yes and double for the for the last one. And so today on the podcast. We'll be tackling the question which of these four physics adventures would you prefer and so we have here for interesting physics adventures. I guess is is. I guess their journeys you could take on. That would basically answer a basic and core question about universe that we don't know each one sort of pushes you passed a threshold of human knowledge or takes you somewhere. Humans have not yet been able to visit and hopefully reveals deep insight into the nature of the universe and what it means to be human. Yeah until the four physics adventures that we are going to be discussing. Today are number one visiting the quantum round with or without Paul. Rudd you are polaroid in this in the quantum realm. Everyone is Paul Rod measured. Everybody looks good at forty five. In the quantum number one and number two number two is seeing the inside of a black hole bring a flashlight I guess number three going faster than light or number four visiting a planet with intelligent alien life and so once again. We just posted this poll on twitter. So check it out and cast your vote but at the end of this podcast we are going to reveal the running totals for this poll and I guess I should tell which does which people for. And if you don't like the answer I guess he should go on twitter right now and follow us and And and and to meet your answer. We are crowd. Sourcing this question because you know twitter tells the truth and so as usual. Daniel couldn't wait and so he was curious and so he went out into the street and ask people on the street. Which was these four adventures? They would rather go on. Think to yourself remove it. Which of these would you prefer and then listen to these answers? Would you prefer to visit the quantum realm see inside of a black hole? Go faster than light or meet intelligent. Aliens. Here's what people had to say Asher them. The speed of light seems pretty cool. Seeing inside a black hole would be pretty interesting. I feel like it'd be millions. I like to see how they would teach physics chemistry. Whatever you fight in this beautiful you can travel back and forth and two black hole. That's the one that interests me the most just because I feel like I don't know much about black holes or anything like that either one. I want to see what happens happens. You weren't travel faster than the speed of light just to see what happens. Yeah we're the black hole one. Let's see faster the speed of light. This happens yeah just seems like the craziest one two millions more because that seems like the most fun. I feel like inner seller already tackled too so like I'm not interested. Three is definitely. I think that'd be the coolest intelligent. Yes what would you man? I don't even know I'd probably just be like. Can I talk to them? That's the first thing. Can I have any kind of meaningful exchange of information? I can even do that. That he crazy wanna see what's instead of going to a planet to see. Alien Life All right. Why's that I think it would be amazing to think there would be other living things in the universe. It's scary to think that there are others and the scary thing that we alone I have no idea what the quantum realm even is. I wouldn't necessarily choose Intelligent life sounds pretty awesome although it could be also a dangerous and hostile place but if I was guaranteed of some safety that would be an interesting one all right not a lot of fans so the quantum realm not that many. Although we thought I'm really already there was a single. It wasn't that good on his back and you know they did a pretty good job in that movies maybe people feel like yeah that one. Sorta scratched off the list. I think the biggest takeaway from these is that people had a hard time choosing because they all did sound attractive. People like what what what one just one are you sure? And that's visit the black hole going faster than light through the quantum realm with an eighty next to me. That is the dream come true or did I make you make you a little bit. That's the Deep Fried Bananas. Sunday of options with US knickerbockers. Because that's not anti store. I always remember in Chicago. Which will deep fry anything for a dollar and really. Yeah you can bring Giving your iphone fried they will for dollar. You could bring us snickers bar you could bring hair stuffed in Gorgonzola cheese or would it be like one dollars. They'll fry anything all right. So we're GONNA talk about each of these four possibilities Visiting the quantum realm go visit going inside of a black hole going faster than light or meeting. Intelligent aliens and then at the end will reveal the running results of the twitter poll so number one visiting the quantum realm Daniel. First of all. Why would you want to visit? The blood is one is attractive because quantum mechanics is so weird and there's so many things about quantum mechanics the way particles don't really have a path that don't like fly through space that where they can do things that balls and ships and planes can't do that makes people want to go there and see it and visualize it Great because I mean we all live in a quantum universe but those quantum effects don't really you can really see them experience them unless you are sort of at that size really really small. Yes what do we mean by the quantum realm in these rules about quantum mechanics? Like you can't know the position of a particle and its speed. The same time or particles can be on one side of a barrier and then all of a sudden on the other side without going through the wall all these things apply only to the microscopic particles like electrons and photons and stuff like that they don't apply to the things in our world and so it feels like there's a different set of rules so we've quantum realm to me. What it means is the place where those different rules apply. And that's fascinating because I'm physicist. I want to understand how the universe works could go visit a place where the different rules applies get an intuition for that would be totally fascinating because intuition is something we really lack when it comes.

"Is where you can tell all about the conspiracy show with Richard Serra? A few moments remained with Derek Robinson. Derek again for people out there listening who may suspect they are targeted individuals or believe sincerely that they are how do they get in touch with people against covert, torture, and surveillance international. A couple of ways we do have a contract line. And that is one eight three nine five five five nine. Also have an Email address in ax L. S N like Nancy to Tom L like Marietta warned and which is summertime website. Which is Tommy Tommy Tommy packs entering or do any of these technologies work in concert with heart, for example. Would that is a question? There is Louis suspicion of a while back. I really have not heard much about lately actually that was on. Jesse ventura? So he talked about higher, and it has in its mind-control capability. And it is the policy does you Chen targeted individual as well as groups of individuals and capable wide geographical area. Reportedly, they are denying that hard people that work there are. Denying that. They are hop has mind control capabilities at all. Donaldson matter to page in our community and. So. If you want to talk to. Thank you. A couple of bucks about harp. And he can explain to you how the technology works. And she believes that harp is targeting, you know, our population as well. As other portions of the world with. The frequency is out there. That is true. I cannot pay for sure myself, but it's possible. And how about Chem trails? How do you? How does your membership feel about the influence of camp trails? Okay. That was also controversial in our community. And there are some that are affected by the Chem trails that have contracted Mark. Allen. To see if they feel instrumental related. To the Chem trails, and there's actually remedies around for. It's it's a real. Disease that. That people have really suffered with. But. Fortunately, some people have actually been able to deal with that effectively that has resulted from the county jail. I think ultimately if this continues, I mean. The the residue from the champ. Trails course lands on everything, you know, the the air. The food supply everything. Affects all of humanity on them animal and plant life. This is an issue that that ultimately the society is really going to have to deal with. Because there there are health consequences on average altered. So I hope that that is a drastic dared. You mentioned that according to this whistle blower somewhere between one and two million Americans are being targeted. I mean are there are there plans? Do you know do you suspect of ramping this up? So that at some point will wake up, and we'll all be targeted individuals. I believe that his agenda. Dennis. Yeah. Intention of the Ingende, even though I mean, my my feeling about that is that even though that it's not interesting intention. I do not necessarily feel that that will actually have them. And why is that? Mainly because people are becoming more aware, and at some point they'll be intervention, and there will be stopped. Well, that sounds like some good news. Finally, so often when I speak about electronic harassment in mind control. It's it's not a rosy outlook. But you're saying I think you mentioned earlier within the next couple of years, they will be some type of intervention what what form would that intervention? Take. Would there be? Would there be a? No, some some piece of legislation. How is that going to how is this going to be stopped? Well with widespread widespread public awareness. People realize what's at stake for them. I believe that cities that states that even congress will act to defend not only our group, but their own lines. I mean, they are they are at risk. There are some even in congress victims of this technology, but there's not a lot that even congressional representatives can do. Not by themselves. For them to pass legislation. They're going to support of their colleagues many of their calling and right now, it's not political to to pass congress. They're just silent at the moment. If the public becomes aware and are becoming aware, and if this becomes a national issue, which I believe it's entirely possible. Very sound. Then this would change the dynamic of our targeting and of this issue. I think that will be solution. That's at at that time. Do you have anyone in law enforcement? That's a member of of your organization. There are some that aren't law enforcement former law enforcement that on working with us. And do they believe that they were targeted or are being targeted as well? Oh, yes. Absolutely. Just because they are members of law enforcement doesn't mean that they can stop the. The style. The targeting from happening. I think real what's really stopping on this issue from being addressed. Is there really is about legislation on the books that specifically addresses? So law enforcement has discretion basically to decide whether or not. Now, how it's targeted and even if they decide they want to house, and there's only so much they can do. Because they don't have the legal underpinning to arrest. Somebody for microwave harassment. Who can you direct them to if they want their environment their home? What have you shielded to to reduce the the harassment and the electron ick surveillance and so forth? I mean, we're all many of us are familiar with Roger tolls is from the Los Angeles area bugs sweep he's very prominent. But obviously, you know, Roger can't fly over the place. Do you have resources available to people that you can direct them to to someone who can provide countermeasures? Okay. That is that is a tricky question. There are a number of individuals. Make that claim how effective they are is if something else. And we have actually been in search of now. Who would have an effective countermeasures? Lately. And dealing with someone in Chicago. And he was actually featured and one of the television shows lately caught legend hunter, they did a segment episode on mind control, and he was feature, and he has someone that that some people in action. Have have went to. Thank God to him in the past for for for microwave harassment. And there has been mixed results with the service. So we're kind of in search of those second really effectively deal with the frequency and free people from they're suffering data still a question Mark as to who can affect. Do that for our community. We're still in search of someone that can definitively that all right? Well, derek. Are there any conferences where? Targeted. Individuals can go and gather and meet other targeted individuals sort of face to face or is it all done online for the most part. We do have conferences, occasionally, we hope to have a conference this year in the Los Angeles area. Most of our meetings have been via conference call although we can have support groups in some cities where they have when they do make face to face, and those are very good opportunities for networking and support for those and Seattle area. Good some for bear. Also in Portland, Oregon. I guess if people should check the website. Conferences and more news, please quickly. Give us the.

"Open until. At three fifty five. I've got a question for you. And I don't know how you how you would answer it. I think I know, but I'm not sure. No, okay. I size article today that the headline was is Tom Brady going to retire. If the patriots win the Super Bowl, and I thought for everybody hates the patriots. And it does not want the patriots to win the Super Bowl. Would you not root for the patriots to win the Super Bowl of Tom Brady would retire? No. You wouldn't you'd say. Yes. Oh because then he'll be done. No. I don't know. Mm to retire. Lose gonna lose. They're not gonna lose 'til he retires. We can't lose it. If he retires. That's true. But he goes out winning. Jagger. They're they're going to win. He'll be in a wheelchair back there because nobody gets through and he'd just throw it. They'll lose eventually be Forty-six. But they'll lose eventually eventually they're going to live. I'll take a loss here. It lose another Super Bowl. You realize how close they were all Seattle. Three in their last three seven bulls should be. I mean, it's all ifs and buts and give them the credit because they made the playoffs. I mean, they're they're the better team. And they made the plays the falcons Joe Seattle didn't make the Seattle falcons. Choked decline. If lost who's twenty four I'm losing the if the running back makes the block we've talked to Kyle Freeman. The Freeman makes the block is wide open player. I mean, that's that's the that's the margin of victory or defeat. Ran it three times faster taking a sack. Yeah. Now, hold they lost eighteen yard. That was Julio Jones's like run it sack. Hold on. No just kicked a field goal. Kick. The field goal games over. If he makes it it can't guarantee to make it but in a dome what forty order. I'll take my chances on that one Brian especially at time. He was I mean, they're really close to be no one three. Yeah. So they they haven't been dominant in the Super Bowl they've won. But up his worse. It does especially when you have the other team. I should be three one and two you're not going to bet on this year. I bet the patriots against the chargers. Everybody had the charger that took the patriots. But yeah, I didn't I didn't take him last week. I didn't take the chiefs either the over and got lucky in that one. But no, I'm not I won't bet. I'm not going to sit there and root for the Super Bowl images. They can't do it even though they might be the smart play. I'd love to get the Rams plus three. But I don't think that's going to happen. I don't I think two and a half price is is gonna it's gonna get. I it just now. Now, just look. If they win the ultimate compliment. I want to lose. I would have had it with you, would you. I would. I don't know to win. And they just go off into the sunset owned. A lose lose again, come back. You gotta get Yukon, man. Coming in this week or next week next week. Well, he'll be going to Atlanta. I'm sure it'd be a damn. Tip game. That was awesome. Because Al Brady said after the game usually his family's there. But I guess they weren't there. But then you was and he was with a bunch of friends, and then on his Twitter they had and he was like in the crowd keeping the families. Tired of it? Yeah. Families like come on. Tommy, we just just even nine of these things championship game again win this. We'll go to the Super Bowl. What is done? Dealt with the F C championship game. You your AFC championship games for the Super Bowl? It's all about Tommy. Isn't it all the time? It's Tommy Tommy Tommy Tommy Tommy liquor my rings. Oh. We're done with you. We'll go to the Super Bowl. Does it think that way? That's true. Good. Thank you. I think has sisters right? I was gonna I was gonna think if he had a brother brothers think that way. That's enough. Jack ask like, could you imagine ally? And Peyton Manning's brother. What's his name Cooper Cooper, man? He's just gotta be like enough with you guys, man. Oh, yeah. Nuff? That's how brothers are enough. A UCLA up enough in my life. Will you stop it? It said lucky you do the whole Kansas City thing we're going to sit here in California and watch it on TV. Here's the nice and toasty warm. That was the whole thing is we were saying, oh, it's not going to be that cold. I think it kickoff. It was nineteen. And then they they showed the thing and with wind chill five. Sorry. It's sixty today. It's beautiful. I'm like, why would he go to five when I watch it on TV you're gonna win anyway. And then we'll just go to the Super Bowl. And that's inside guess was a member a couple of years ago, his mom was badly. Awesome stuff. So who knows maybe, you know, some wasn't feeling great. And they don't want to go to the game. And they just figure, you know, what we don't want to travel twice and go to go to Kansas City, sit out in the cold. And then go to Atlanta. So, but you know, what we know you're gonna win. Yeah. They're probably waiting in Atlanta. We're just gonna watch. We'll see there in a couple of weeks. We gotta have we bought a house. Well, we talked about the worst fan base. It's similar. It's like it a lot. Yeah. I don't know what you thought. But the I thought the national championship game Alabama. Clemson was like seventy percent Clemson fans at that stadium. I'd never heard the plays louder. And I think it was because Bama fans went whatever you go every year all the way to the bay area. Nah, we're good. We'll be your next year. We'll probably in the thing. Anyway. Yeah. That's how fan base is get. Yup, absolutely nine Super Bowl. And they don't have any animosity. It's not like, I hate them. It's like I say, I always say sports eight eight oh, there's a difference. You gotta you gotta respect an organization that does it the way they do it in the fight that Brady's had in the row that he's taken to get to where he's at and Bella check and all those guys. It's incredible. Just I think there's. Don't most people feel the way I do unless you're a patriot fan. You just get tired of seeing the same team over. No, there's gonna be tons of people out there that are rooting against the warriors. They might even be hate him. I don't wanna see him when again for somebody. Plus think about it. The patriots have been doing that like three to four times longer. People hate the warriors. You know, the most hated end most loved team in the NBA right now. But a lot of people don't like him and yet the patriots and been doing it nearly twenty years the words what five? It's the it's the reason why there's only so many sequels in a movie of a series. I go Kay you've done three generally speaking, I know Star Wars and others are different. But generally speaking, you might do like three. And then you're like, okay. Let's stop because people get sick of it. Like I've seen it. It's like the difference between the Red Sox and the Yankees Red Sox. I'm tired of the Red Sox. I mean, just tired of them. It's just all Red Sox nation and they've all the new red sock. Hats you see ready? That's more with the warriors. And I'm tired of the Red Sox. But I don't I don't really hate the Red Sox. The Yankees are different story. Yeah. Is you hated Steinbrenner growing up? I couldn't stand. Reggie Jackson growing up. He did stick his ass out against the dodgers. Okay. Let's get that straight. That wasn't just head up. My hip. He did that on purpose. Whoa. My ass. He was in the way. Yeah. And you just and then you hated the fact that they went out and created your team. Buddy. You're like they do it all year round. And they win all the time all of the eighties. They were terrible which was kind of fun to watch him. But I mean, it is better when they're good because then you convert against them like you do enjoy that. And even during the nineties when they were really good. They didn't have a bunch of guys you looked and go get a bag like Bernie Williams. Bernie Williams again looking at going get behind that guy. I get behind Passat. He's cool enough guy jeeter's a little much sometimes. But Pettit behind him Rivera. Just say the Yankees suck. They put on the uniform, but they didn't have players. I mean, Paul O'Neil was a red ask like you look at him. Now, blah was kind of a red as you look at them. And they had guys thirteen you're like a like a one zero win over there to were Iraqi hated the warriors even guys hate except for Draymond remind. You can hate he's easily readable like I could see the guy. Hey, Draymond against standard amongst the crappy does and now they have cousins. So maybe they have two guys. They really don't like. But it really is about winning again. That's the ultimate compliment. People don't like Duke because they win all the time. It is it they're not bad guys except for laying there. And I think we all would agree with that. They will have the hateful white guy entertain this year, though, the JJ Rediker, the was the guy that was tripping. Everybody is on the jazz. Now, they don't have. Yeah. Grayson allen. Yeah. Have they don't really they usually have that annoying white guy. And it's like it can be really good or not really good. Was that guy? What are you gonna do? Stop. Quin snyder. Exactly, he always had that guy. They just have those three guys. Now, they're just there. Yeah. They're they're pretty good. All right. Greg Cosell three fifty five we'll get into some NFL stuff. Oh, one of the NFL thing. I wanted to ask you to. But anyway, I would like to know if Brady would retire would you would you not going to say openly root for the patriots? I'm not saying they only know you like them to win. Okay. Now. That'd be over. No. Then you're would be oh, oh, hang around and keep getting beaten. To win. Anyway, caviar you want to get into it. We talked a little hall of fame. If you wanna if you can get a chance to get in that we can do that as well here on the sports center. Tolbert.

"Fifty nine and fifty nine t buckle your safety belts, folks. It's about to get worse. Yeah. Exactly. Maybe because of all of that you need your faith in humanity restored. Well, you know, what I'm gonna take a crack at it today. There's a four year old in Chicago that is restored my faith in humanity. And you know, what's so have her parents? Here's why her name is Florence was now sqi Florence. You know, what mom and dad did they use the connection to hurricane Florence to her name to show her the world doesn't revolve around you things happen in the world. And they asked her do you want to help these folks that are being battered along the east coast with horror king Florence, and they said, she's absolutely mom, dad. Yeah. What can I do? What can I do? What can I do? So dad was kind of cute. And you know, he he took one of those graphics that show the path of the hurricane and where it's going. Head and they were placed like the little dots with her face. Okay. Little four year old Florence. Yeah. And they made the poster, and what they did is they place the poster on a box for donation at her school thinking they'd receive a few items to send to folks in north and South Carolina. Were they were they were overwhelmed with the response. Mom, says you know, I haven't talked to people in twenty years, and I'm having Amazon packages delivered at my house. "Well, okay. If Tommy was here, he would say that I don't take the food into the kitchen right after I finish eating it, but I'm like, but I might want like another bite later. Like how much later like tomorrow too. I have no idea what my craziest thing is, what's your craziest thing? Honey. That's not nice. Probably will. It's, it's, it just depends. Like we talked earlier, like I'm a hypochondriac, so like definitely that's something that, and then I just, I ruminated a lot like that's my crazy. So that must really hurt you because if you're wondering and worried, you know up staying up at night, worried about what could be wrong with you. I would want to cure you from having that problem. Thank you. I'm cared. Okay. She should. During pregnancy? Her craziest thing is her nightstand my what we're like, ten LaCroix is. Days ago, if I don't clean it off, it would be, I mean, as tall as the lamp on the nightstand stresses how it is. It's just mostly when she's pregnant. I hate look right only when I'm pregnant. I can drink it. Oh, my favorite thing to you get heartburn. I didn't get heartburn away. Do you have any so no kids yet? Not yet. Do you wanna have kids? Of course? Yeah. Yes. Here with Singa on Tommy Tommy Tommy. So I, I, I my eggs and then I'm as you freeze your eggs here. What do you mean like in LA? Oh, yes. Where which we're plate place actually SERC southern California reproductive afternoons there Dr. Shaheen Gedir. Oh, he I decided a second him on the doctors. He's so sweet. He's he, I, I am in such good hands with him. Yeah, he's awesome. Yeah, and I went to high school with him. Oh, that's funny. Yeah. So he's actually a really, really good guy. Yeah, I run into him. It's places like Cicconi. Then he would say, you're my only friend who has an. Frozen their eggs. So I really had an ignorant mentality about it because I thought I had all the time in the world elder you I'm now forty five. Okay. But at the time I was in my third, late thirties, and I think that the false misleading things that we read about women getting pregnant late in their forties gives women in their late thirties, false sense of security that they should wait when they shouldn't well. And I will say this 'cause I feel like I got misquoted I would went to premiere last week in us. Weekly asked me something, and I said, I personally wanted to be done at thirty five. But for me, it's like they, they put such a a target on women over thirty five that because after thirty five year geriatric, but I didn't mean that it's not a, it's not a bad thing to be able to have. I, I heard about that actually. Oh, you did you getting backlash for it? Yeah, but I'm like, I didn't say like for me personally, I just wanted to be done before. We've had a really hard time getting pregnant and you know, I'm. Blessed that were pregnant for the second time. And I just I want to stop after this. I got on wanna test my I don't want to go through like what we've been through. I would have had my kids younger and yeah, I think first of all, you should be able to have an opinion. That's something that we're not allowed to have any more without getting crushed in the media. But I respect your opinion. And I think that if you're going to harvest your eggs than women, you guys should do it now don't wait until you're forty and over because you're just ruining your chances of like how many eggs you can harvest. We'll inequality of the two. But and that's what I meant to say in the thing was like, it's sad that it's called geriatric at thirty five. Because women are, you know, having totally fine, healthy pregnancies forty on, right. So it's like, what? Why? At thirty? Five..

A victim not Brady I Thomas we were talking about this yesterday is one of the great players of, all time he was, on a dynasty with the pistons by the way Michael Jordan couldn't beat that team at their prime Michael Jordan could. Not beat, Thomas and the pistons Isaiah Thomas was talking about Lonzo ball the Lakers and I want you to listen to this piece of tape Great to us I mean I don't, think you're gonna be able to fix. His jump shot at work with a better than how it is right now he's a talented. Talented young player special because he has a special but it's, interesting he said I don't think they'll be able. To fix his jump shot when Isaiah was a. General. Manager it should be noted he, had a, good eye for talent hit a very good eye for talent Oh that's the Yeah so here's the thing. About Lonzo ball let me. Just, say this He. Isn't. Going to be able to fix his. Jump shot he's not ever He's not gonna fix. His jump shot Give me the list of guys in the, NBA who came into the NBA talented and we knew they weren't good shooters, and, then ten years later you're like wow what a, shooter John wall came into, this league not a shooter John. Wall, eight years in last year shot forty. Two percent still can't hit it three Okay Derrick rose came in this like, been, in the league ten years he's still shooting about, forty three forty four percent, Westbrook last year three point shooting. Percentage, was twenty nine point eight percent awful It's not like they. Don't work. On it it's practice it's not like, those guys don't. Sit outside and wanna be better. Like Lonzo ball's. Never going to be a good shooter. But that's not what they brought Lonzo xactly, he's long he has great vision. By the way last twenty games he played, Lakers thirteen and seven, he, wanted UCLA he. Left UCLA wasn't the same. Program he's going to be. A really good player but they do studies right, now they do studies in. America all the time your personality by six seven eight years. Old it is what it is you. Can go to therapy you can. Get. Into a. Great relationship by six seven and eight years old they. Will do tests on your personality and, forty years later you are. Largely overwhelmingly the same person it's the same, in the, NBA Now LeBron mellow both came in with. A high ceiling LeBron reached his ceiling. Carmelo didn't because LeBron worked harder But Lonzo ball I've said this before. Will never be a, superstar in this league Ben Simmons has the same basic flaw could be worse. Than Lonzo he can't shoot either. But Ben Simmons will be a superstar because he's. Much better, physically much better athletic lease. A much bigger body Ben. Simmons and Lonzo ball had the. Same problem in fact Benz problems worse than Lonzo he can't shoot it all. Lonzo can't shoot Ben Simmons Walt he so bad people are suggesting Ben Simmons. To shoot with the other hand but the point is much like kids being. Developed at eight nine years old the difference. Is, Ben's got a much higher ceiling because, he's a better athlete Ben Simmons will never be a great shooter initially I doubt he's ever a good shooter but. It can still be a star because he can get. Two other shooters and he. Does finish at the, rim he shot. Fifty percents. That he finishes at the rim he's also a great defender he's big. Strong long all that stuff great vision but it's funny about Lonzo Jason Kidd is the one person everybody uses everybody goes Jason Jason Kidd Jason. Good Jessica What Jason Kidd you ever thought of him as one of the great shooters in the NBA even his. Best year shooting in the NBA Jason, Kidd had one year reshot forty four percent. Years before it years after it thirty eight thirty nine and a half forty and Jason Kidd made. A miraculous improvement in a shooting. He was never a natural shooter he, got much better at the three but even his best year he had years before it and his years, after back to what he was everybody doesn't have to have the same skill set in order to be successful or. To, be, a, hall, of, Famer, now. Again Lots of had the same. Shot when he was at UCLA. It's not like the Lakers didn't have, that tape on him shooting the exact same way now I do believe that LeBron will make potentially could, make Lonzo the best Lonzo can be right but Lonzo will never average twenty five I don't think you'll ever average. Twenty, two But but I think LeBron will get the mo- he'll pull, the most out of him but it's funny when I hear people talk. About I don't think he's going to be able to fix that shot Westbrook can't fix a shot, he's ten years in. The league they're still. Turkey we. Just talked about it. Yesterday is working on. His three point shots. All summer John wall. Can't fix it and John wall wants to fix it and Derrick rose can fix it you come into, this league and there's certain. Things you just are what you are in lonzo's long but he's. Not athletic he's not real strong he's not he's not physically imposing he has tremendous vision he does win games he makes, teams better UCLA fell off the map when he left when he. Played his last twenty games last year rookie year there were. Thirteen and seven they were a real team with Lonzo. People like playing with him I think he's a pretty good. On ball defender because he's pretty quick and he's really good rebound or is really long. But I don't think his shot will ever get significantly better either everybody doesn't needs to be obscure, shooter is not natural season that's not. What it is brought him there to do The. Problem with his shots and. Me everyone thinks that it's it's. His his unnatural. Movements with his hands but if you watch when Lonzo shoots it's really how he lands that is a problem, with his shot people have had unorthodox shots before shooting is not just. How you hold the ball how you bring it up your entire body it's your core and your, hips if you watch. How it lands that's. Really what. Needs to be coming. Up next I am. Surprised nobody else is. Saying it but it's. Going to happen and it's the first time it's going to happen in nearly twenty years and that is, coming up next are you.
