"Power-play goals for the last seven games and I think all three of them are from Craig Smith, so you're not even getting you don't get power-play goals from you know, your usual guys. So you look at all those factors back into it again, it's not like you need those guys and all those factors to be pedal-to-the-metal like, you know, the power plays at 33% If you just, you know regrets back to the mean of what that team should be wage. I I don't see how you can't be encouraged by what this team how it's clicking right now because they're beating very good teams decisively without having a lot of pieces still click right now, which I think is encouraging for the Bruins in terms of just building up their overall game and I guess what is scary about that though is in past Seasons. That's also been the case where the those secondary scoring that secondary scoring has not performed as well. But again, now you have that crazy line producing. Yes, because again for so many years that creates you line wasn't producing now, it's funny. You put two competent Wingers next to krejci and it starts producing. It's crazy. Oh who would of course not coming home, but I do think you know, you mentioned the coil line that that still been kind of, you know, not really there so to speak and then you know, obviously the the D need to come back, you know break well macros like Kevin Miller like when you get in those guys back, but when you do against you if you know, if you go in again if you want to play offs close to healthy I mean, I don't see why they can't beat a team like Washington like I think that's a pretty easy pick to maybe pick them over the caps in that first round. But again, you mentioned a perfectly who are you losing in that series may lose grzelcyk because Wilson dump the puck in his corner and puts him through the glass. Are you going to lose, you know, you know what's weird and and I don't want to put bad stuff out into the universe like this, but God I didn't want to say it cuz I cuz I know if it happens I'll get killed for it, but it just has the the writing on the wall. Maybe this is cuz I it's like the Rick Nash Syndrome from a few years ago, but it would just be so capitals to be the team that like takes Taylor Hall out. Right? Like I thought yesterday afternoon. I was like there's definitely a chance to Taylor also be coming over the middle going for a shot and like Garnet Hathaway comes through like a just a fist or just hit some or something like crazy or Tom Wilson the same thing because we've become so accustomed to it. Well, I mean how dare you even say such a thing like that? I know Tom Wilson was so incensed that even people We're bringing up the argument even though I don't know was that an incidental play with Crowley? Yeah, it was unfortunate. You know, he was falling. What you going to do. That's hockey..

"Don't do very well with mundane normal like my life is just like always gotta be going going going and i need change. Change change because that's what drives me to figure out my appetite migrant my love for for my work and for personal and all that comes together i think if i just have momentum going into you know being different and you know trying to see how we can progress and grow. So i'm curious you know you ran a lot of minor league. Baseball teams joined an organization. That did that. How do you compare Running a minor league baseball team to running the end whol. What are the similarities. What are the differences and know what's changed. Maybe in ten to fifteen years with the different. Is you know minor league baseball multi million dollars. You know so. The scale is much different than for example. Here you know this is definitely you know a smaller league smaller bring costs. Muller everything peterson to the sixteen had in those six different states. The sports entertainment model to me could be quite similar though you know people coming And developing and growing that model that it's not just for the women's hockey niche or like that whole demographic is true believer like minor league baseball really grew to become a money making profitable machine. Because if found out that okay if you if you entertain beyond that minor league baseball fan that's coming that family. Entertainment dollar is huge. Our philosophy there with the goal klan group. As you know we we did things. you know made people laugh when he came. We had a a non in our right field in saint. Paul said's given out haircuts and the sizes. Bud seelig was a commissioner. At the time our mascot was a pig we call them. Bud squeeze league you know regis. Did some really awesome stuff to make people laugh like one of their all star games. One year ended in a tie. We like gave everybody these ties and litter. Let me we just. We didn't the second night we gave out a funeral. Like we asked nobody to come that night. We called it. Nobody night locked them. All out of the ballpark There's just a lot of great things i got know. I got the chance to work with mike beck and an actor bill. Murray i mean you know those are all things that we tried to do And i think that stuff can be done here. Now the spoarer jeff and you know you and i talk on quite conservative but you know i think if you just do it you know slowly but surely there's some ways that we can go in here and and make a good impact especially in the women's game because you could do it they're like wow i love it so much just like i don't have the play by the rules. Necessarily we have the purest. I get it. We also had the baseball purist but we also have another demographic that is going to be there and like you know we could just do some stuff. And i think that is what people can look for and for example in our league or you know what we did in our minor league gum operations is people knew that they were gonna have unique factor there something to make them laugh so i love that spirit. I do have to go back to something you just said what is to me night. I mean they're giveaways baby. We had giveaways all the time. So you can enter in and we had a sponsor that was giving away so Yeah it was. It's been great and now it's just it's so turn key like there's so much beautiful mess and creativity That comes out of look at some of this stuff even going on social platforms. The creativity is off the charts so it's inspiring it's eighteen years now. You've been into sports after leaving your internship. How much has changed for a female of if you to speak to a young woman now that is coming out of school or is even in high school and wants to volunteer somewhere to get their foot in the door or starting internship program to get their foot in the door. What would you say to them about. What's different now as opposed to how you started. What's better what's worse. What the path is like. What sort of advice would you give them. You think it's gotten a heck of a lot better women coming into the sport or at a college right now. That are looking for jobs I think what you get is true role models now. Like i didn't have that like you have qiming now being a gm You know you've got a lot of women. Being named an ad male dominated roles now like i think it's so beautiful it's real and it's becoming even more so in i i feel like in the next couple of years you'll see lien. See the roles opened up a little bit more towards females so the examples Feel are out there and inspiring I still think for most people in sports. So let me. Just generalize by say getting into sports generally it's so competitive at it's so cutthroat and so hard and it's a twenty four seven that game so i think in general. It's very still very much harder to get into sport. But what i do think is that the openness and perceptions of what women can do if given a chance as definitely grown in the last eighteen years. Tyler your husband is ben sherrington. Who's the gm of the pittsburgh pirates. How much do you guys talk about your sports jobs. And what's the same about them. And maybe he asked you for advice on something he's facing and you say well i dealt with this or vice versa. How much of that conversation is there between. The two of you yeah. I think it's so wonderful relationship. I know it might be nice to sound. But what i think is just so beautiful. Is that like we both can call each other up and say.

"A variation on the question. How does this work. So i liked that i liked that but but the thing is like if you listen to james andrew miller he does the origins podcast right and he did a five episode deep dive into curb your enthusiasm which was fantastic and he also did a deep dive into sex in the city. Now i was never crazy about that. Show my wife love that show but the podcast was fantastic. Especially when they kind of got into talking about kim control and her relationship with sarah jessica parker and it was really intense and i thought it was fascinating and there's probably people looking at whatever device they listen to this podcast on right now like elliot. What the hell are you talking about. But that origins podcast which did curb your enthusiasm and sex in the city. That's the kind of thing that i would love to see. I would love to hear podcasts. About like a of the on a similar vein about either Black adder yup. Maybe my favorite tv show of all time fawlty towers or mighty bouche may bouche may be my favorite of all. There are any of our our listeners. Who have been tuned into any deep dive. Podcasts of what he did those Three shows please send them along To this guy so you've done a lot of different things like what would be the answer for you. I know you're big into dan. Carlin and i know you're big into wrestling a. Yeah but i approach it all the same way like. I'm with you like in anything that i do. I have the exact same approach which is how does this work like. Lift up the hood Let's let's see how this engine works as tear this thing down. Let's get down to the nuts and the bolts. Like that's how i approach pro wrestling. That's how i approach hockey. That's why we are would approach anything. Which is why you're unsolved. Mysteries idea to me is really intriguing. And they sort of tried to nudge over to aliens. Because you know who wouldn't be interested in that. I sort of go in waves. Like for the past few years i've really been interested in anything revolving around world war one and mainly what led up to world war one right now meeting guns of august. That's great king kaiser. I read a couple of years ago. mike ajello who we all know. What china radio listeners would know as as mike from buffalo a great writer and podcast himself. He's a history major and so he's always he's always sending me stuff Mike's fantastic great hockey fan. Every time i've been buffalo. I make sure. I get out to dinner with mike. Wonderful guy and big world war. One buff mike. Make sure jeff picks up a tab for once. no no no no The bill comes and go down and timely shoes. Those would be my answers sir. Okay back to hockey kevin coyle. This is a good one. What's the best trio or group of players along with the best nicknames of all time e russian five triple crown line production line or punchline. It'll just narrow that down to what's your favorite name for a line or by the way you don't have always wondered for each. We always give forwards lines. Why don't deep pairs ever have nicknames. Well you know what they used to call. I remember when ian white signed with detroit. Do you know what the redwings called him. What the second best player on the red wings. And i said why and they go because we always joke that lindstrom's partners the second best red wing. Oh that's good okay. So i like stuff like that. Actually i remember. I told i. Remember in white was represented by. I think it was pat. Morris i told pat morris that and he laughed his head off thought. That was very funny. That's really good. I like that d- do you have a favorite line name. I always i. I grew up in. I was a kid of the seventies In toronto so i love the buffet mention in buffalo sabres. The french connection to connection. Of course that was one that i grew up loving. I'm trying to remember like what would be my favorite line. I can see you being a big triple crown. Dick is that. Because i love the kings old gold uniforms and i remember feature. They did where the kings released an album right. I don't even know if it was a real album. But was that hockey sock rock. They did a video.

"Elliot seven game suspension for tom wilson. I don't wanna go over. They can prejudice a jury here. I don't want to go over the usual arguments here about did he. Didn't he intention all that kind of stuff. That always gets itself played out hysterically on twitter and we saw that fire tonight and over the weekend and no these conversations going to happen. But what are some of the questions that you had going into the tom wilson hearing and are you surprised that he had one in the first place and does any part of a seven game suspension. Surprise you you know. I think the most interesting thing i've found is that you know there are a lot of people who believed that. He only got suspended. Because he's tom wilson And that if it was just about any other player in the nhl who delivered that hit. We wouldn't be talking about anything here. And i think the capitals believe that. I mean you heard peter laviolette save. I saw the the hit. I mean his feet round the ice. He stayed down with everything. Looks like a hard hit in the corner of not not exactly sure what happened but to me. It looked like just a hit. You heard ovechkin call it a joke And one of the things we talked about on. Fridays podcast was. How frederick drove the capitals crazy on the wednesday night game the night to game two nights earlier when he was all over ovechkin than ovechkin spirit him and you were the one who asked okay. How was he allowed to do this. And then two days later they play again and on the shift with carlo. Wilson tries to engage frederick a couple of times. And frederick's noah got a constant winning a game here and he runs over carlo you know. Maybe he was frustrated. I don't know i i. I don't know how wilson would explain it but you know. Saturday is a day. I make a of my phone calls and i asked around legalized and people are just generic conversation. It came up. What do you think about wilson how bad you think he's gonna get it and i did have a lot of people say to me if this was anyone other than number forty three on the capital's nobody would even be talking about this. Nobody would be if it was a hit that anyone else delivered. It wouldn't be a penalty or suspension. A lot of people felt them. But that's what happens when you have the history right. All of a sudden people look at you differently. You don't get the benefit of the doubt name Four hundred other players in the league if they throw that hit they get nothing but because of his history. That's what happened in this case. Like i really believe probably looked at elliot. Moore's while that was a tough hit with a bad outcome. But because his tom. But but i think generally predisposed to assume the worst when it comes to tom wilson but that's a reputation that earned so on friday night. He throws the hit because there was head contact. The first thing everybody looks at is rule forty eight yep illegal check to the head and is the head the main point of contact and the answer there is no this is my guess. My guess is that the people in the nhl department of players safety said this is not a rule forty eight and then when they started thinking about it they looked at it and they're like we don't like this. Is there anything else it is and if you read rule forty one which is boarding. You know it's there you can make that argument. And i think that's exactly what happened. Is they made that argument. And they said that's boarding. Now it's new president's you know that's not the way boarding tends to get called boarding tends to get called when a guy has hit from behind and carl wasn't hit from behind i think that's one of the things that the capitals and possibly the players association discussed wise. You guys don't call boarding like this and at the end of the day that's why it wasn't also like thirty or forty games because boarding doesn't carry those kinds of suspensions historically the highest boarding penalty i could find. I suspension was zac. Rinaldo in two thousand fifteen. It was eight games. Right and wilson gets seven. So i think that's why he got less. You know the other thing. Is you know the capitals argued. It was a clean hit like some other people had said to me and the league just felt the totality of it all was illegal.

Washington Capitals' Tom Wilson Receives 7 Game Suspension After Hitting Boston Bruins' Brandon Carlo

"Tom wilson's added again. The washington capitals rugged. Ford i was gonna call him tough guy but that was very tough thing. He did there recently against the boston. Bruins tom wilson has now been suspended for seven games for a hit against the boards on boston's brandon carlo. And it was well ugly in every way hit can be ugly. It was basically carlo up against the boards. Got the pocket and his skates. And wilson comes up and pretty much collides with the side of the guy's head and he left the game due to injury and It was just and it's not one of those deals where he can sort of. Give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Tom wilson continually runs into trouble with the nhl law and I mean these seven game. Suspensions four-game game suspensions the they just don't seem to be getting through to this guy. Now what did you think of him. There's no doubt in my mind that that he's lining up the guy's head okay whether shoulder right. That's the big hit right. That's the big hit when you when you leave the ice. Hers people incorrectly. See all the time. He left his feet. You know when he when he's leaving the isis the guys up against the boards. I think he's not even looking at him. Got his head down and this guy sort of lays into them with a shoulder to connect with his head. Okay so that's that's a terrible brutal disgusting dirty hidden hockey. Triple that stevie. When you're looking at the guys had up against the glass and you're gonna go smashing. You know like the guy the guys up the guys up against the boards and there's his his face might even be against the glass when he does it steve. It's just freaking heinous man idea. I thought i. That's what i thought when i looked out said that's like punching a guy down steve that's like punching a guy when his heads on the ice and you know as heads on the ice right. They don't do it right. You seldom see that right. The guy will pull up. What was the example. Last week was a beautiful example. The guy waving the linesmen and because he was going to use going to murder the kitty was fighting right. Yeah but this guy. I think he. He saw it from a mile away in terms of hockey speed. You know like you have a good two seconds there and tried to smash his head like a pumpkin into the glass. That's what i that's what i saw. Elsie the same. I mean and it's and it's this guy it's one of those deals where maybe i'm throwing around benefit of doubt of. It's somebody who's never done something like this before because it is a fast game and guys move the last second but there's nothing i can find here where i i can even begin to go down that road. A it's is tom wilson. You know if there's been a murder and there's a serial killer hanging around the scene of the crime. I'm gonna probably look his way and not given benefit of the doubt It's tom wilson and brandon. Carlo is totally stationary up against the boards. There was one today it was. Let's see. I think it was chicago in saint. Louis i wanna say and There was a big hit Behind the net and I mean it was one where he could look at and say okay. Well that's second go either way but this one was just. This is a guy. Carlos stationary against the boards. He didn't change direction. Didn't spin at the last second. He's totally still. And this guy had really his choice of where he wanted to hit him and He clearly chose get the the good. Maybe do the most damage knock this guy goofy. Get the puck and off. I go and intimidating. That's tom wilson's game. And so it's that's that's the frustrating part of it but more than that though it's hard for me to get to work out a budget anymore. Because the nhl at large doesn't seem to care that much y'all through a seven game suspension. Well this guy's been suspended repeatedly in the league and It doesn't seem to change anything for him and they don't ever seem to want to do something more fierce with this

Washington DC’s Tom Wilson Not Penalized For Hit On Boston Bruins’ Brandon Carlo

"Almost literally took a 51 beating in Boston and in their four game win streak and pretty miserable fashion. It was a physical game, one that included a controversial Tom Wilson hits on Brandon Carlo that was not penalized. That sent Carlo to the hospital. The Bruins then had a three goal second period after that place, so coach Peter Laviolette, it's fair to ask. Did you guys get sidetracked by all the physical play? We knew it was gonna be physical. You know, you hear what's coming out of their locker room. You knew it was gonna be a more competitive game. The first game was physical. And so I don't know if we got sidetracked. I don't know if we were surprised that it was a physical game. I think where we got it all done tonight is that we're from a defensive standpoint, There's too many quality chances. There was too many backdoor tap ins. Backdoor plays where we could have done something better defensively, and our goaltenders really had no chance. While she turns lone bright spot came on its lone goal. Nicolas Backstrom registered career assist number 700 on his setup for Jacob Brana that makes back in the 54th player in NHL history to reach that milestone, but comes in a pretty bad loss there in Boston

Korpisalo continues CBJ domination of Capitals

"All right so last night as we've been talking about on the show it was a fantastic night for Columbus blue jacket fans and the Columbus blue jackets and boy corpus although I can't say enough about him and and his performance last night let's bring in the sideline reporter for reset reporter for foxsports Ohio in the Columbus blue jackets Dave Matt's old Matt's year in Detroit right now yes are not just Detroit it's beautiful downtown Detroit I mean if this place is phenomenal so last night let's start with last night boy I I don't know what the feeling was around there but boy it was really fun to watch corporate solid do its thing last night Hey look I'm not talking to I I want to forget about the rest of the team as well but let's face it they were quality parts flying at him all night long and this guy was just you know stop after stop after stop in the blue jackets they boy they just they cranked it up last night it was really really fun to watch Hey boys look towards has been saying for a couple of weeks that this isn't a five hundred hockey team because the goaltending and he meant that as a compliment your goal of corpus all he has kept this team in games that they otherwise has no business being in even at one nothing overtime loss in Pittsburgh after that game towards the quote this game could therefore nothing very easily in the favor of Pittsburgh but it wasn't because of course the last night might have been his best of the year if you go back up maybe a week before that Alaska because Washington that might have been his best game of the year until last night he's really plays at a really high level and and eliminated one of the big question marks right going into the season only what was it well I think you want to answer that question very very well yeah boy yeah it was again I saw you you talk to him but right after the game there and he just sees a he just seems like a cool customer man he just seems unfazed right now and I think last night maybe even a little more growing and and this is just based on I don't know that clearly you don't that that like what he was doing last night isn't something you just all the sudden discovered obviously it's there the talent is there he's got the chops and that was as good a performance of we've seen from Bob as far as what your listed last night especially when you consider the team and the people who are coming out of all night rolled out about and that's a really good way to characterize it through the first two periods Aliso basket at night job and they've also got a great second line which is centered bikers that soft yes you J. Oshie on that line yes Sir could run on that one Backstrom is the back in the lineup for for about a week or so so you're talking about a team that has five or six guys with four points then the blue jackets leading scorer that is really quite a lot of fire power coming at your school to someone last night all and I think and it's not because the guy asking me in posted it got to be almost personal between him and and that's good right Michael veterans like I would this guy was there with this guy yeah Jana stood tall on every shot he thinks it was really really fun to watch and really encouraging for the future of that goal tending position with the blue jackets no doubt about it second time only so far drops the gloves last year and I'm telling you man it was offer that goon Wilson and and him but basically what he Louis left is free to you he was he that that check was not a check that was a dirty shot in any more on that going on right now Meryl they'll be no trouble dental discipline for Tom Wilson even though he's left it like that and in even towards called after games like that needless yet yeah well why you with what you would do that at that point the game the game is already sealed up but yes savvy yeah I was talking about the are there some the game of life if you have a fight I can't remember him ever having a fight it won't be hold a third period there was his second time NHL fight he didn't even look like a fighter because he's not a fighter but the fact that he went back after Wilson after that cheap shot it was a really good side it builds a lot terms of team unity that kind of thing right in the sense of art is a big dude so he's gone Hey you know maybe even though he's not he's not a fighter but he's gone Hey pick on somebody a little bit more your own size and I I love it man him stand up like that that was that was really cool to actually see that and you're right I can't believe they're not going to do nothing's going to come down for Wilson especially when it's needless and clearly was frustration man they they're just they're helpless they're like why can't we can score on these guys it was making him crazy and it's not just core be I mean everybody is in the right place sticks in the right place I mean more deflecting were you know re direct I mean it was it was just crazy was the perfect storm last night yeah it much like the game a week prior in Washington there six were good there they were playing on their toes they scored only court made that stand up until they could add a little bit of insurance in the third period it was just all on one hand it make you say wow these guys are really played a great game on the other hand why don't you like this on more nights why do we have to suffer through games like we saw in Pittsburgh and to a certain extent an audible work they were facing at the pleaded team and could not score how does happen so I'm sure it's a little bit frustrating for the coaching staff as well but there's still time they they've got themselves we had a late fall will be here plays but there is still time they have to win tonight are you in our testing about this early but they have to win tonight or completely deflate what happened last night right when they got to come back Thursday and beat the kings way and get some momentum going here because I've got some games that should be what about games between now and Christmas thank god some guys who were called up last night too and will they be starting again tonight I would imagine well the good news about tonight is the best news is as accurate he comes back a week and a half earlier than anybody expected wow that's awesome he's going to come back in the lineup he's a Detroit kid obviously grew up rooting for the red wings that that was a one hundred percent blue jacket that'll really really be a nice addition especially with some of these injured injuries that they suffered in the in the Ottawa so yeah but you know listen you had that Kevin Stedman called up and Marco dental cold up with those guys well is there a work on the fourth one you have Eric Robinson who still learning the NHL game score a big goal last night off a great feat from Alexander text yearly towards talks about developing players these are young players who are developing right before our eyes and people like that I don't wanna you're developing other one who developing a what is your playoff push and all that kind of stuff but I think we're seeing a mix of it right now it's still hoping that they can make a push for a playoff spot and also developing some of these guys look at the stars of the of the blue jackets future well Elvis in that tonight hopefully he can get his first NHL win I know Corby needs the rest and you know hopefully if there's a time to actually play him I guess that would be versus the red wings but boy you know I I guess on any given night right yeah I'm not sure that's a hundred percent walk you know one of the people have assume dealt with the net but all this was skating this morning he was one of only two guys to skate the this morning he had called her wits and generally what a goaltender states in the morning he doesn't play that night so I think maybe it could be over but I'm only we but convinced but I'm it could be fifty fifty at this point from the starts and that's a nine nine coal that's all we'll be watching tonight for you obviously on Fox Sports Ohio what puck drops at seven correct I

"They play hockey now isn't billiard balls anymore like for all the hue and cry but find me at Tom Wilson. Find me a Tom Olsen. He's one of the most valuable players that style in the NHL. Where's that guy coming from? I mean to some extent that could shocks right? Matthew could Chuck Brady? But they're not Tom Wilson. No like that prop Keith, certainly. But that's maybe when you look at the the first round the drafts the last couple of years, that's probably the closest thing you have to it will we're gonna find out now, right? It takes a while. But does the contract and the effectiveness because it's beyond the guy's a hell of a player. Yeah. Even if you don't like what he does is that going to bring that back though. No the other guy right now who's interesting because I wrote about him this week is the door off the other guy who's very different. He's fearsome. He hits you. He's a throwback. He's down four minutes game this year. Why do you think that is? Well, one of the things air Johnson's healthy there. Johnson played pretty well. He's a man eater there. This is the lowest ice time was a door career his history and Colorado has been interesting. There's been a lot of in the doghouse out of the dog. Yes. So if something does happen there. I don't think anybody should really Pranav surprise faces. Yes. But he's that kind of player they don't make him like that anymore. And last year a heck of a year remember showed up by shape the didn't play him opening night when they won in New York against the Rangers. But he really came on. And no matter what PK's van. No. He was a really he was a really improved player for them. And was a big part of the reason they got to the playoffs is throwback guy because you very seldom see guys chase a hit. Right. And we're talking about guys chase hits and Zadora outs. One of those guys that chases hits. Tom Wilson chases a hidden now for every Tom Wilson that you say, hey, we need to go. Find a guy like this. The other side of the coin there is a player like meal on Lucci who others fans are pulling their hair out over with that contract and that lack of production Lucci has is older than both. Those guys is the lesson there that when you play that style of game your career is limited. And when.

"Chicago blackhawks who have a pedigree for winning they're in a losing weight right now they had a good game against anaheim but could win he says you just never know about these games they could come out here and score seven eight nine goals so you really have to be ready while he was prophetic this morning and his team gave up seven goals brayden whole peter starting goaltender gave up six of the seven goals and was pulled after two periods in the blackhawks added an insurance marker from the cat alex to break it is 22nd on the season from hartmann and short the blackhawks took the lead in this game on a taves goal at six nineteen to the first the camps tied about half way through the first period tom wilson's tenth on the season and then brandon saad picked up the game winner at twelve forty seven of the first period he now leaves the blackhawks in gamewinning goals with seven it was the second for brandon sod in as many games final shots on goal favoring the blackhawks forty four to twenty two the double the capitals in shots on goal and as i said before a senate away this is one that i think the blackhawks kinda old the capitals because when the blackhawks would go to washington the last couple years it seemed like the caps took great delight in rolling up the score on the chicago blackhawks maybe it's be because of their early playoff elimination it was their way of trying to preserve some some pride i don't know it goes that far but they have throttled the blackhawks a couple of times here in the last couple of years well the hawks got a little pay back here tonight with a convincing seven two one victory in all by the way alex ovechkin who came into this game ninth overall and scoring the national hockey league led the league in goals he was pointless here tonight final score the hawks seven the capitals one i gotta move this along i want to thank everybody involved with our broadcast here tonight starting with my partner troy murray great job by you were the.
