"You're listening to this. Steve Skiff, Edie show on WTMJ. Again. Some good ones. 85561616 20 little something we call ask Steve anything. Any questions? Very game. I'll do my best to answer it when we have Steve. Why is the Super Bowl so late out of Sunday night? Why not Saturday or Sunday afternoon? I actually I think that's true. I wish it was played. I wish it started at 2 30. Give everybody a chance to kind of get settlement. You go to church. You get your Hammond rolls. You prepare your stuff to 30 game kicks off. You're done by 5 30 back to normal. Why do you think the biggest game is always Sunday night? Was more eyes on it, and we'll see you Sunday night. I know I worked in radio doesn't get you didn't ask me about ratings. That's a whole separate. You asked me what I want to play 2 30 in the afternoon. Come on Bill Steak, That's That's why I mean, they got something because that's when they have the most. Of course. Here's what I don't get, though. Why is the college football national championship on Monday night? That's a good question. I never watched the college football matches it because there's NFL games, right? There's NFL games that we caught, so they're not gonna play. Probably they're not going to try to play college over on the same days of football get an NFL game. I don't know why not Saturday. Then you've got a lot of what do you got A question wasn't there? I think there were said today. I used to have them. Yeah, that weekend anyway, Moving on. This isn't Jordan. It's has everything. What's that about which Wisconsin State Legislature Steve or Wisconsin. Congressional rep has political views most similar to Marjorie Taylor Greene. I don't know that any are that Are the friends or crazy, But Tom Tiffany has been pretty out there and some of these things I don't know time and you know, I respect somebody who's willing to put themselves out there. But when you start aligning yourself with election conspiracy theories or ideas that elections to be overturned, even though I think this is one of the most consistently conducted a zealous far as the procedures of an election in the in the history of our country. I think he would fall into that. He's not Marjorie Green. There's only a few of those out there and look to all the people say you've got a point out the Democrats. I do. I've criticized Elsie and he'll have Omar and others. Because they're acting like lunatics, But I don't play the what about isn't game When one person does something I talk about when it happens. I don't bring it up when the other side does something that there's other shows that do that not interested. Steve from the equity markets talking text line. Do you think the close up shots of the vaccine needle going into the Army is harmful sensationalism by news media and likely pushing people with needle phobias away from getting the vaccine. That's a specific question. It doesn't bother me. Do you think some people are fucked about maybe Mean? Yeah. What do you I guess you don't have to show the needle going in. But It doesn't bother me. I'm here and I'll tell you a story. So when I was a little kid, I was in the hospital for like a week and a half. I had my appendix. It almost burst and back. Then your parents basically waved to you at five o'clock or six o'clock and you're by yourself in a dark hospital, which is how they were back then for for the whole night. And because of that, I had a fear, hospitals and all the procedures and when I went back as an adult The hospital. I got shaky and sweaty. I didn't I almost passed. I'll get my blood drawn. One day. I've overcome that because I had done a million times, not for my surgeries and stuff, but I get that That's the thing but Is a large enough that it's the media coverage is persuading people are making people hesitant. I don't know that that's going to be the fact I think the big thing is you want to get vaccinated because you think it's the right thing. Steve what is your busy traffic preference lighted intersections or multi lane roundabouts? I'm not a big fan around about their cooling in some circumstances, but is it appear or green Bay? That hasn't like back to back to back? It's like, come on. You got, like for these things in a row. I mean, that's it seems insane to me. Now. I know they prevent some of the you know the T bone accidents and people don't tend to slow down. But it also causes confusion for a lot of drivers. So Yeah, I would. I would prefer the light intersection. I also would prefer people to stop it later Intersections, which is a big problem from the AC unit, markets talk and text line, Steve. Why do people that have office jobs.

"So you should bring it into rich sons. 3,000,008 time, Right? Match me and Well, I guess we'll see you when you got here. 23,000,040 Watt siren. She J. The place you want to go live with wanna go much You're listening to the Steve Skippy Show on Wtmj. For the breaker has to question what should happen to Tom Tiffany and Scott Fitzgerald, who essentially rejected the will of the voters. One of my text, her friends said. If they reject the vote that should resign. We can't trust him to represent us. And do our will to good points. Let's go to Ryan calling from a condom walk. Welcome, Ryan here and Wtmj. Hey, thanks for taking my call. Um, you know they're not gonna read die. They're not going to resign. There. They come from very heavily Republican district's that voted very heavily for Trump. So you know, you have to think a majority of the voters that area kind of light what they did in in letting this go now they could be censured and all that stuff That's not gonna do anything. The only thing that could be done. Is when they come up for election next. That there is a heavy campaign against them and get them out of office. It's the only way to do it. I mean, that's that's America. You have to actually then trust the election system, you know, which has worked and will work again. On dope that enough people saw what itwas and It's not for what itwas and you know, elect him out of office. Yeah, thanks for the call. Right? That's exactly right. Elections have consequences, and I would call their votes pandering because we don't know. Elects presidents by congressional District Way represent. Candidates we represents by states, not by congressional district. So accepting results. We're gonna do it by congressional districts. We're gonna have a much bigger, uh, mess than we already have it right now. Let's go to Johnny calling from Montella, Wisconsin. Hey, Johnny. Yeah. Interesting question. Hey, no Censure. No, no leaving office. I think they represent the mindset of their districts, their voters They were elected, duly elected into office. And I don't think that You know, most of the people that voted for me as your last caller said he stole my thunder, But, um, they're pretty much in line with their constituents. So you know, in America, we do get the government that we deserve. And that includes a Quinn, president. So, um, they've spoken. They've expressed the opinion now we need to move on in in a couple weeks. All right. Thanks for the call Johnny. The interesting thing about that they Johnny's point. Others have made this they represent their constituents. I would argue that Ron Johnson's supporters would be angry that he didn't represent its constituents. I would I would argue that my Gallagher, who has I'm just guessing, cause I'm not living that part of the state has a constituency that's probably not happy as well, but they made a bigger decision. This is where this representing the constituent stuffs falls down if your constituents are wrong And they're living in a world of reality. It's not Real. That's where leadership comes in. That's where I played for some of some of this for you. Earlier, I met Romney steps in and says, Hold on a second here. This is not what we're supposed to be doing. That's where leadership comes in. Always in the best leaders make decisions that some people will hate. But in time history proves that decision was rights. Nobody gets 100% approval, but Leaders make tough decisions, often that popular decisions and maybe in a state like Wisconsin Scott Fitzgerald and Tom Tiffany could have set an example that in the future, we're gonna respect our election results and respect the will of the voters in Wisconsin. Maybe that's something they should have thought about. Matt from Burlington wants to join the conversation high man. All right. I think that to congressman should be primary from the center. You hear about primary from the left and the right. And maybe it's time to come back to the middle of the road for politicians. But I'm not optimistic. Listen other talk radio, and they were still feeding the delusion. It was full full on this morning last night. It's not gonna stop the continued a feat. What I call the bad wolf. Yeah, Let me let me ask you a question about that. Jack. Let me ask you a question about that because I also listen to some of the other shows and I know what's being said, and I often talk about it. When you hear conversations like that, that you know are True. Or your words delusional. Why do you listen? I listened in the hope. That at some point, there's moderation. And that it's kind of a check in reality. Where you say, Wait a minute. No, you look and it's frankly kind of mentally ill. I don't mean I'm not trying to say this by listen to this. My watch from the people that were saying stuff that the that the Congress Congress yesterday. And I say, Wow, you see, these are clear signs of an unhealthy mental status of an American electorate. I think you might be right. Thanks for the call Matt. Let's squeeze in rush from Green Bay. Hey, Russ. Welcome to the show. Thanks for having me the colors. One of Victoria's today really were good callers said..

Confusion and it extends the eviction moratorium and also provides funding for vaccine distribution. Now it does not provide liability shield for business is it does not provide money for state and local governments, and it does not provide direct aid to the restaurant industry, which has been so hard hit already. "Western Wisconsin in August for a road trip with my family. I was shocked at the number of Joe Biden signs I saw. On farms. The challenge, though, is to get that message out there where we don't have the advantage of conservative talk radio like we do here in the Fox Valley in Madison with Vicki McKenna and myself, How do you get that message out there? And how do you get voters engaged and make voter contacts? Win those races out in areas where there more dominated by Iowa and Minnesota media? Yeah. Great question. I mean, we have felt all Long here that the way to win this race is through Ah, grassroots army of volunteers making sure that people have the ability to talk one on one with people talk to neighbors. Talk to family members talked to church members. So over 15 months ago Now we started building our team. We hired our state director for this campaign earlier than we ever had before in July. Normally, a state director comes on board in February of the election year. From there, we built out our team and now have the biggest team we've ever had on the ground in Wisconsin. So it is Training recruiting volunteers, training volunteers activating volunteers so that they can cut through the noise so that they can talk to people one on one and spread that message that record accomplishment with for President Trump for Derek Van Orden, whoever it may be Tom Tiffany and really talking to people, But then it comes back to message. And talking to people about things that they care about things that impact them around their kitchen table. That's what we've got to do in those areas. We've got to talk about the U. S. M C and why it opens up new markets for farmers how the president has brought back manufacturing jobs. They're jobs that, Obama said. We're dead, gone. Never coming back talking about the president's health care plan. Always cut, you know, wants to make sure that people have pre existing conditions covered. Talk to them about what he is. Gonna lower the prescription drug costs, So it's it's having the ground game in place and having the message in place to motivate people to come out and vote Republican in the last segment, Andrew I asked both Rick and David about The challenge of doing door knocks of doing voter contacts in a pandemic world. I mean, we are in on election cycle, I think unlike any other while it's totally different than it was on, say, April 7th When people truly work scared to leave their houses, I think we now know. Okay, you, Khun, Go out and vote safely. Okay? You can talk to somebody on the porch. And you can. You can make that voter contact. How are you doing so differently in 2020. And how are you still able to make those contacts s so you know, I like to say that the Democrats are up in the cloud. We're on the ground, actually knocking on doors, having events making phone calls training volunteers. We went virtual in March, April May in early June. We were completely virtual, doing everything that we're doing now, but doing it, you know, on a zoom But then in June, we got backto work in the field, and you have to be careful. You have to be conscientious not only of people's views and feelings on cove in 19, but also because obviously the virus is dangerous to certain people. And we've got to be cognizant of that on DSO. When we'd knock on doors were wearing masks wearing gloves you're taking you're knocking on the door. You're taking several steps back. So when somebody comes to it, there's distance in between you you're talking to them. Some will want literature. Some We'll just say I'll go to the website. Some will say, Leave it on the step for me. I'll get it a little bit later, so it's making sure that we're careful and conscientious when we're doing events, making sure that we're offering mask and hand sanitizer doing temperature checks, But you know what? We've got to realize too. That we've got to find a way to function in this pandemic, or, you know, our kids aren't going to be in school. Our jobs are not going to be there. If we can't figure out how to function, we're not going to have a country to come back to. And that is the needle that we as Republicans air trying to thread every day. On the campaign trail, being conscientious, being cognizant but getting out there and making sure people know that we care about them that we care to talk to them about issues that they care about because of what happened in Kenosha. And because of the not just the rioting, not just governor Evers response to it, which was widely condemned even by members of his own state Party National Party. There's a huge article in politico right after, but you also had, and I took note of this. It was a New York Times article maybe three days after the riots in which there was a new attorney. Black woman Kenosha resident who said this was my kids, 9 11 and Well, that seems, you know, maybe that's a farfetched comparison to a little boy. Who's seeing his town burned down. It's not okay. To that end. How is Wisconsin? I think uniquely position, given the fact that this didn't happen in far off Portland or Seattle but rather in Kenosha, Wisconsin. And it happened under a democratic mayors watch. It happened under a Democratic governors watch You had a democratic governor who I believe was fanning the flames with this statement the first night of the rioting talking about black people being mercilessly killed by law enforcement, and this was potentially another example when it wasn't clear whether Jacob Blake was going to die or not. Given that this happened in our backyard. How is the state GOP Communicating the message that it was President Trump who is pushing Governor Rivers toe allow National guard supporting Pinochet was president Trump aided by Republican Congressman Brian Style who was pushing this every step of the way that restored order and restored peace to Kenosha? Yeah, well, you know, first that situation down there was so serious and You know for her to, you know, kind of talk about that being a 9 11 moment. I think we got her understand and realize what some folks went through down there. I mean, I talked to some folks who every night, the dad's the husband's kiss their kids gave him a hug. Put them to bed. Said goodbye to their wife loaded up their firearms and went to the edge of the neighborhood and sat there all night to make sure that their kids were safe Now. I mean, Dan, I've never been through that You've probably never been through that. I hope none of us here ever go through that. But that is something that I think is really it's scary. It's terrifying. And if it happened in Kenosha, it could happen anywhere. They you know they closed the interstate exits. That's you know that the in Chicago they had to put the drawbridge is down, right? This is what they did in Wisconsin. It can happen here. And so you know, after the Madison riots, we actually filmed a digital ad and TV ad criticizing the governor's response. We did that on DH played that during the DNC week on purpose to tee up the law and order aspect that we wanted to hit. After Kenosha happened. We actually We ran that digital ad now down in Kenosha. We're cutting another and we're still running that ad. We've spent well over $100,000 on it, actually, and you know, every time every chance we get an opportunity to speak about law and order and the lawlessness and the risks of it were thinking President Trump for everything he did to bring. Bring the troops Bring federal resource is Brian style. I think Congressman style he's gonna have Have a statue. Ah, erected. I think in his honor down in Kenosha, because I mean this guy, you know, I think we all know. I mean, he literally called the White House switchboard and said, I need to talk to President Trump. And you know, that's not only is that amazing, but this president is the most accessible and his team is the most accessible president that I've ever heard off. And they are there for us. They are responding. They care on DH. That's why, you know, I think that that impacts that resonates and that's going to resonate all around the wild counties all around Milwaukee, and it's going to deliver Wisconsin for the president and in Milwaukee County, especially David, This is something that already has resonated for the better part of a month and a half, right? Absolutely. You know, the Andrews point I would like to point out Just to give a shout out to Congressman style. He represents the first district also the Kenosha he exhibited great leadership, Congressman Style did along with President Trump and so many others. That were. What we want to do is bring law and order to each of our cities, so we don't have the same issues. The same matters that Kenosha had just you know, Ford at 4 to 6 weeks ago..

"The latter's office scandal loss yet but that wasn't the weeks only realistic here peacefully in Wisconsin and Tom Tiffany also secured election it's not all smooth sailing for the red team however recent polls suggest that Joe Biden continues to expand his lead over president trump all right let me bring in Ryan yeah because you're very good on these issues right but how do you see these rights well let's see if the race in Wisconsin was a but trump won that seat by twenty one point six points and if you want to buy sep fifteen point seven so it's basically a Republican seat to a solution they want it with Garcia it was very interesting because in California the early ballots that come in usually Republicans hold the lead then they lose election day voting and anybody that comes in afterwards the interesting thing was Garcia not only won the early ballots you one day of election voting in Los Angeles it was his campaign was monumental this the seat that Hillary won by six point seven he went one by twelve if you want to take it to a national level that most time special action to come have a national trends I work for Bob Turner ridge what you want to Anthony Weiner seat and then Obama was elected reelected a year later most of the time they don't have any national income is the only time that this may happen national repercussion is the fact that seated very very well a majority Hispanic precincts near looking at the fighting campaign now spending fifty five million dollars trying to win over Hispanic men there is clearly if you look at almost every poll trump is edging towards the high thirties low forties with the Hispanics with Hispanic voters especially Hispanic men and you're seeing the recent Las Vegas Nevada independent poll showing nearly a tie between Biden and trump if trump is having a search it is partially because because he's winning over more Hispanic voters where he's having a deficit however is because he's losing senior citizens since the coronavirus and handling of the crime I don't know I think he's losing senior citizens because they figured out that you don't really have their best interests at heart but the California election I want to point out is does have warning signs for the Democrats because the Democrats have been really a campaign for universal mail in votes and Donald Trump doesn't want it says it last time Republicans get elected and was met met mail and was basically what the election Californians about and the Republicans did much better if the Democrats had a hard time energizing young boy loosely affiliated voters part of the Obama coalition they didn't turn out so that that I think it raises the question of whether it is male and of voters and they may not be the savior for the Democrats in November they've got to do a lot more to energize their base and pot you know we do talk about biting in the basement but he's the post suggests yes it's Arlene yes everything can change in yes they're probably signed a trumpet is but he seems to be growing is laid on the president no I don't think so he's not growing is really what is happening is clearly trump is down from the forty nine percent when you began the battle with the coronavirus down to forty one or forty two percent and pardon simply happens to be on the other side the problem provide needed shock he says he's going to stay in the basement which is a good strategy because your blind ship near a door knock on not being she but the problem comes when he comes out and we have to face the public you would have to face trouble when he has to campaign I enjoy the connection over combat you have to overcome that deficit he's got in his ability to communicate auch in ideas and insurance and words all right things are and and and you're saying that trump has the ability to do all those things yes you will you tell us to reject a Lysol into our names and you can say and just things about his his his enemies but he's not an inspirational leader which is what this country where a lot of work people excuse me please I think you know Joe Biden will not be in the basement for ever and you can keep questioning his energy level and was compassionate and set those expectations as you watch because until we see I think the most important thing that's coming out of polls right now is when Manson who do you trust in certain issues on the issue of health care Americans overwhelmingly trust Joe Biden on the issue the economy even despite high unemployment Americans still believe down something better than Joe Biden the question is what will be the question remember people voting for health care for the economy the economy trump has an edge thank you right at our office today four years ago Clarence concluding I think up this is the world going up replied well for the economy but but let's face it but what I'll speak at the moment three players which seem works under Republican so the bushes and then not trump and well we are but trump of course the coronavirus came in and with overwhelming burden we saw a lot more money coming into the government going out so well we have a a situation now and what's the contest reflection still six months away I have been going up okay my two cents on the gusty a race I think it's an opportunity that for Republicans to perhaps look beyond the trump immigration rhetoric to mobilizing Hispanic Americans under the shared values of faith Roman Catholic Church the personal responsibility hard work pays off on your bike is so much better all right more of the Madoc is free time I've always wanted to learn another language but every time I try it never sticks so I decided to give babble a try and I really like the teaching method of the app I started with the beginner lesson on Babel and it starts with simple words and phrases and soon you're putting those words into a conversation each lesson takes about ten to fifteen minutes and they're all really different which keeps things interesting the app is a really smart it actually keeps track of the words I'm struggling with so I can practice them and get better I just babble because it was created by real language teachers they built it around real life how people actually communicate and what they care about I.

"Nineteen eighty two or nineteen eighty three it's the album it's hard that's the name of the album but anyway so that's for you John and no you know you do your hearing it wrong the show didn't just start I just felt like doing that I'm a little capped up as you may have figured out by now plus I've told you all right senator Tom Tiffany is on the phone state senator Tom Tiffany who is hoping to soon become congressman Tom Tiffany Tom you have an election tomorrow tomorrow in case anybody forgot and you happen to be listening in district seven you have an election tomorrow Tony eaters decided to schedule the special election for Sean Duffy's replacement on a weird day so that it would not coincide with anything that would normally seem like an election day say like an election day but Tom it's good to have you on the program my first question is are you seeing any polling stamping shenanigans are we okay when it comes to people you know understanding that they need to staff polling locations I need to make sure that there are enough places for people to go to vote he Vicky so first of all I thought I thought the same thing it's the bottom of the hour in your doing your intro I thought it was for the big day tomorrow vote Tom Tiffany yeah absolutely it's a preview of tomorrow he yeah for sure so yeah well we don't think that there's gonna be anything funny like that you never know all but we sure hope not but you know here's one of the curious thing is that governor reverse has insisted that there should not be regional differences recognize right you're gonna lock the state down your lock down the entire state you don't recognize any differences at all yes he said a couple times over the last few weeks that yeah things are a little different in northern Wisconsin I don't see any reason why we have to be moving that election or doing anything unusual once again the inconsistencies coming from this in an administration they just continue to stay arbitrary and capricious those are the words that keep popping up arbitrary and capricious how about today as governor Iverson ounces that standalone retail which is everything from you know maybe you're downtown main street business to Coles can have five people five people because Tom they deserve to be able to have five people in their stores which means most of them won't even buy this descent people over an open stores but this is what they're grateful I hope they're grateful thank you right grateful they should be on bended knee saying oh thank you for calling me deserving you know governor rivers also said on Friday that he is encouraging businesses to think about their businesses Tom I I I you know there's no consistency to any of this and you know I I think you're seeing the same thing seemingly across this country as well where you've got some states that are saying you know we don't think we're impacted that dramatically so we're going to open up and other states that are impacted about is lightly is other is states like South Dakota are saying now we're going to stay locked down no consistency there isn't data there isn't science there just seems to be the exercise of raw power at this point in that terrifies me yeah no doubt about it no doubt about it and that's part of the reason I mean if you look at the differences between me and my opponent she is an AOC surrogate she go out there and join the squad I mean she really let the let our guard down in a couple debates last week when she just made it very clear open borders Americans you get to pay for the world health care you know Emily's list you wanna aborted child at nine months just go ahead and do it I mean it's just crazy stuff that does not reflect the values of people in Wisconsin and that's what I'm up against tomorrow and that's why people got to get out and vote and if you can't vote if you're not in the listing if you're not in the seventh congressional district you know somebody who is somebody that's in Marshfield or Hudson or superior park falls call them up and tell them to vote for Tom Tiffany tomorrow you got somebody running against you who would better represent downtown Madison then enter money okay and would be mark Pocan would be best buddies right so instead of running in Madison she wants to run in northern Wisconsin and bring the AOC sensibilities let's talk about what AOC one she wants universal basic income she wants everybody to be eight B. pay two thousand dollars a month in perpetuity and never go back to work when people are in fact allowed to go back to their jobs and their jobs are still available to go back to she wants she is encouraging people to to start a general strike she's calling for a general strike and yes she wants open borders isn't that interesting at a time when when the when the progressive laugh like your opponent is encouraging is insouciant sickly embracing this wholesale destruction of the American economy by shutting down businesses by executive order she wants the the southern border of the United States to be wide open so that everybody with corona virus south of the border can come into the United States presumably so we never get over the hump of these of these infections and be treated at the taxpayer expense here in the U. S. in much just toss in the group green new deal on top of it as much as agriculture is been stomped on over the last six to seven years finally turning the corner with some good trade deals ratified by president trump put in place by him and now they get hit with this and she's saying that we need to green new deal also just to put you know but the stake through the heart to apparently right too big to fail we always heard that when when president Obama was in office you know we can't have anything too big to fail look what's going on time in your small business guy you're actually a small business guy that relies on on people using natural resources northern Wisconsin coming and visiting northern Wisconsin and she doesn't want businesses like yours to survive she doesn't you know she doesn't want to have that small mom and pop small town America actually be able to thrive instead you want to concentrate all of the success in all of the survival in these businesses that are already large in these businesses that back will only then after this and all of these other small businesses fail absorber the leftovers of what used to be the the the scaffolding in the skeleton of small town America because that's all that's gonna be left Vicky what people if they don't realize it by now they should is the Democrat party the twenty first century Democrat party is all about big business in billionaires they are the party of big business and billionaires you see the money I mean you see Bloomberg pumping money into these people across the country including my opponent with some of her anti second amendment activities that went on in the Wausau area they are the party of the billionaires we are the main street party and that's why we gotta stand up for main street and people can count on me doing that billionaires and big business and you're exactly right right and yet the press says that you guys that's the Republicans billionaires and big business except that that's not true the billionaires the the the mega companies apple and Google and Amazon and Facebook who are they supporting and and they're calling the shots time and it scares the hell out of me when you have a massive massive corporations it would be one thing if they were just looking for a deal for themselves but they're not they're calling the shots on the law they're calling the shots on the constitution they're calling the shots on culture they're calling the shots in regulation and that leaves if you're gonna leave it up to them and you're gonna leave it up to their lobbyists that leaves your business small town businesses fending for themselves in an environment that would have been made that much more hostile if in fact other Republicans are not able to eventually you know wrest back control from the Democrats in the house no doubt about it in the case that I make to people is two thousand ten after having spent two decades running a business small business with my wife I went to Madison with a bunch of like minded people and it was a daunting task three billion dollar deficit unemployment almost ten percent just think back ten years ago and we took on the rap for the last and we made the changes I'm asking people to send me to Washington DC because I will take the same attitude Madison did not change me Vicky in nine years that I was down there Washington DC will not either senator Tiffany you're you're exactly right and remember the days when the conservative Republicans and governor Scott Walker were in Wisconsin this was after a deep deep recession and we were able to to spring back our jobs numbers manufacturing came back that the structural deficit was erased there were more jobs available than the number of the number of people to fill those jobs that was that was an economic iconomi that kept growing and and I thought honestly thought you know would have been able to survive Tony Iverson the mistake that voters made and unfortunately now with the with the kind of power that he is wielding you can see exactly exactly what the Democrats want to continue as policy going forward and that is something that that ought to be obvious to people when the Democrats have power this is what they will do with their power and even though the Republicans are perfect at least there's a check on that zeal for for unlimited power and I think maybe some people are realizing that now for sure in if we have a couple more minutes Vicki I know something that's really near and dear to you and it is to me because I rewrote the law in regards to this that has to have everyone that values their liberty in United States of America should be deeply concerned with is the prosecution of general Flynn that we are fully we are beginning to see the full the full information of how this happened this is directly parallel to the John Doe in Wisconsin when they came in the pre dawn hours and knocked on people's doors and then took their a fax from them many of them still have not gotten it back though the fax back from the law and these people these people word it was done to them because they were simply practicing their first amendment rights to free political speech the same thing is happening in Washington DC and I can assure you if elected I'm gonna go out there and dig into that issue also because you can set aside all the regulatory in taxes and all that other stuff that we debate if you don't have your first amendment rights to practice political speech everything is gone in this country we have to protect the liberties that we were given by our founders time seventy thanks very much for coming on the program today in people please remember you have if you're in the northern Wisconsin area you're listening on our I. hard stream and or if you're listening on the on the broadcast and you're listening to over the air radio let people you know who live in northern Wisconsin I understand that tomorrow the first thing they're gonna do is go to the polls and vote for Tom Tiffany thanks for coming on I heart radio goes one on one with Luke Bryan to touch on how there's no set formula.
