I remember but it was from The iheart radio music festival a couple of years ago and it was. We were backstage at Think billy eyelash right before billy is was going to go on stage. She was on the day. Stage that yeah And you guys are gonna go do announcements. And i think bob pittman and then at some point tom poelman which are the big big big big bosses right. Anthony huge boss. Ceo came over and the person who organized the entire concert for the we have. Bob's bob's the head of our company and tom pohlmann's ahead of us. He's the head of all the programming. Yeah so very few times in radio or i think in any job you get to meet that person in your company. Will you get to meet the the the head guy and your company. So that's the moment you're supposed to at least make a great impression. Say hi you know. Show like so. He remembers you anything. Just anything at all. So he's like oh my regular. You're gonna have to be the person that's going to be known as the person that screwed up a great medium like radio. Great podcasts yesterday called inside the studio and it's all about the magic and the math in the dirty work behind the scenes to create stuff like disneyworld or different places that provide entertainment. It's all the original creators of mtv. And when mtv started it was just a cable tv channel. They said let's put music on tv and show people with these artists exits. They created so many things. And you listen to these ideas. These stories of how these guys decided to start that mtv network and what its become they were the first to do all these different things. They were just a bunch of twenty year olds and said let's start a music channel and tv and they're doing the same thing now and they said a lot of these radio companies. Were all worried like a will podcast. Takeover will streaming takeover. Bob and his team got together and said let's create the largest podcast company in the world and they did and they said let's take all this great talent we have of shows that already exist on radio and just give them a new platform and make them international and across the world instead of just in their towns. The larry nassar investigation. So this story is a huge story this morning everywhere today and i wanna play you guys the news report on this one so they say that the fbi knew about larry nassar years before and if they would have done a proper investigation that blown it off that there would have been so many more victims that were affected by larry nassar that would have never even known because he would have been arrested fundamental errors by the fbi. That's the takeaway from the justice department's office of inspector general's report about how the federal agency handle the larry nassar sexual abuse case. That's simply unacceptable. It's disgusting and there's something. These women deserve justice for alex. County has one of the attorneys representing the more than one hundred fifty survivors. He says at the fbi would've followed proper procedures when it came to investigating investigating these claims. Several of the sexual assault cases could have been avoided backs really the tragic part of this. And that's why so. Many people are so angry about what's happened here. There's a lot of bad policies bad procedures but there are a lot of people who shows not to do what they're supposed to according to the inspector general's report starting with the senior officials and the indianapolis fbi field office who initially blew off the case. Then twenty fifteen and failed to report the allegations against nassar to look up. The i are local authorities which could have stopped the abuse of at least forty victims. It took several months. Formal investigation was launched. Nassar wasn't arrested until december of two thousand sixteen when the inspector general's office questions supervisory special agents about it. They're accused of falsifying a victim statement and lying about how. Why would they case protecting him. For some reason. I have an fbi agent lying during this investigation and they. They've shown it in that report extensively so there needs to be some sort of accountability especially when that individuals talking about getting the job with the united states. Olympic committee attorneys say survivors of nassar's abuse. Want this special agent in charge and others involved. In trying to conceal the case to be criminally charged. Rachel dead hollander. One of the most vocal survivors tweeting her disgust with a lack of accountability. In the case she says the rest of us are left with lifelong consequences and already bore the cost of pushing for the truth and these agents retire on government. Pensions while survivors fight to stay alive. Law enforcement of all all their jobs have protect the public and they just what is there has to be some kind of a cover-up reason why the f. b. i. would have while they're eating. They're saying they covered it up to hide their errors because they realized they. They messed up stuff so they were trying to look better to move on and other departments or to get another job so they were hiding their errors but like you said the tragedy in that eight months.
