They are woven into the fabric of your being, and when I heard her voice on the phone it all. It's not that it all came back. It wasn't it didn't all come back, but the familiarity was there. But if he wants to cut to chime in, we're definitely gonna have them and we're talking to some of the people from the The event itself. Some of the rocket mortgage people hopefully will have a surprise or two in the final hour of this show. Um We'll wait and see. I don't want to mention any names because I don't want to jinx anything. By the way. Um, while I have a moment rate template are fine engineer. It's his anniversary weekend. So I would be remiss if I didn't throw that out there, Ray, you only want Okay. Happy anniversary. To the templates. How's that? Hey, what you guys would be remiss if we didn't talk about area area 313 again, just so many good things, and I know that we talked to Jason and some of the fine folks of rocket mortgage about giving back and you said Jay Farner do the commercial talking about doing a better job of getting Detroit online. But what's your take on area 313 Well, I think it's fantastic out. For those of you that don't know. Area 313 is holes 14 15 and 16 and during the tournament if they make an eagle on 13 Or an ace on 15 or a Bernie on 16. Certain amount of money gets donated by rocket mortgage. And this year the last solo I saw it. His grand told off $385,000. It was 70,000 on 14 and they had 63 birdies on 16 and they had 315th. I mean, that's awesome. It's unbelievable. It's just bunk. Incredible amount of money for the city of Detroit is so Cool. It is so great with an idea. I mean, what a marketing idea. Unbelievable. Now. The other thing to Sean is that people can call in text in for donations to Take index donations. Toe Area 313 to 2 For 3725 You Khun Text that and donate money that way, too. So that's not even that small amount. No, that's what's what's that text number I'ma write that text number down just for us, so I could mention that a few times its area 313 Tio 243725 243725 Let's make a little bit more money. Yeah, we make a little bit more money coming. That would be really an outstanding thing. You guys have played that. Ah Ah, we do have Tom laying on the line. All right, let's get to Tom laying right now. Kindly joining us and we really appreciate it. From the Michigan Golf Journal. Let's welcome in Tom Ling Tom really appreciate you joining us here on spin on golf for what another tremendous weekend for Detroit for Rocket mortgage for the game of golf. Oh, absolutely. It was very incredible Play out there. Unfortunately, almost nobody thought I rode in a story yesterday or the day before that. I've been to high school state tournaments that had more people on site. It was a really weird situation in that regard. I even felt guilty a few times, giving a polite hand clap for a birdie, but The silence was deafening. Tom, But what what? What was it like being there like I mean, I'm sure you know You've never seen anything on the pro tour like this. What was it like for the PGA guys? You know, I know they've been doing this for a few weeks. But did you get a chance to talk to any of them? Would they rather have the fans there? Do they like it like this? Was there an opinion either way. It varied between persons. A lot of people are lot of players didn't seem to care. At least they wouldn't say publicly that they really cared one way or another strongly. They know it depends on their personality and what not, it was tough to watch. There's no doubt about that. Now. I'm not saying it was not a good tournament because it was a very good tournament. Ah, lot of great action. Bryson today proved that you can actually win with with bombing out. I didn't think you could at Detroit Golf Club, but he proved you could. He did not even hit a fairway till the seventh. Whole today? Yeah, He was three under on the front nine. And he was just making saved from places You couldn't believe so not only to the proving environment, but he proved he could gouge it out and get it on the cream. But as far as the atmosphere it was very bizarre. You guys might have even noticed the comments by Matthew Wolf yesterday when he took the lead after three rounds, But he was taking the vibe off of hearing a little ice cream truck driving around the neighborhood near by and it was like soothing his mind. So to speak. He was singing the song to himself, I guess taking his mind off the pressure Whoa! You know you could have had ice cream truck right on the tee and not hurt it. If the fans were there, there'd be so much of Ah din of talking and low noise that that just tells you how quiet it really wass and He actually started to go downhill on the front nine When I heard, you know, rockets coming what I thought was from the house and I thought people were just partying too much and ended up being protesters walking up the road and trying to stand outside the front gate for a while so, but they stayed for about an hour and then left and And he gathered himself and But Bryson was still great today. He he pulled away a lot of talent. Maybe not all the right decisions, but a lot of talent. Tom Lane, kindly joining us again from the Michigan Golf Journal, Tom We were just talking. Bc mike fan myself the course just looked awesome. Of course, this is television. This is overhead shots. This.
