So everybody's like man Here's a thought anybody. He hasn't fought anybody. It's like you guys are a bunch of casuals actually. Look at the people that I bought you doing the right thing you not get caught in any that bullshit but I don't even read the comments ban don't even look because I don't have enough followers yet to not see it. You know, like when somebody comments I'm like, oh what a my friends commented may never one of my friends. Do I do the first of all Grant look I met you when you were working at an old age home. Yeah like Bellator. Yeah. He's working and and like wage. I mean look at you five fights later. You're a fight winning streak. Yeah, I mean my my winning streaks 8, but any UFC doing you're doing everything right but I 5 a.m. Should give seats should put you in line for a title. I mean most of the time like that's the streak where you get the title shot at five fights. You know what I mean? How close are you do that? I mean, I think I'm going to get a ranked opponent next. We're calling for for clay Guida, but I think they'll give me a ranked opponent and and we'll go from there. It was so funny. Cuz I go. Hey man, great when he goes are you going to finally got a roast me now and like how long this one second left? So so here's the thing though you roast all the famous people and so when you start roasting me, that's how I know. I've made it. So I'm like, I'm on Adam I 1000% Where's your like your like you go? Yeah. You're right. Don't you one more fight Grant one more fight that I've made it and I've made an updated man. Now, where did you think of the aspirin? Yeah, man, everybody's like everybody's talking about this by everybody is, you know got their own opinions on this page. Like I think that's only makes boxing look bad, you know, everybody is saying like this makes the UFC look bad or MMA look bad and I completely disagree with that..

"Hunter that guy off the podcast maybe a great show today. Like I was saying Bill Simon, I've been like like I thought I had Cove. The vaccine but I just been sick like no other and not the second shot and the second shot. Did you in know? I got a second job like a month ago. I don't know what happened. I've just like I said just sneezing coughing. I have like a hundred and wage. Point eight or something looking crazy holyshit a hundred hundred a hundred Point. Okay 108. Yeah, nothing crazy. But like my wife's like toughen up basically and then took to watch the baby while that's going on and just spending a rough couple days, but it's okay. I'm here. We're here do a great podcast. We got a great show today. We got Grant Dawson who's a huge Street? He's a guy that one with one second left his last fight, which was insane. We have Tom lawlor was in the pfl that guy had a crazy trip. He's in the UFC and he got banned for like, I don't know off or something, but he didn't know and I believe him but he's been a pro wrestler. He was in that Golden Boy MMA thing and I was in the pfl could win a million dollars. So we have a whole and then we have another guy who's fighting for the Ella faith. This week was also a badass who wrestles for OSU which is Tom Ryan. He's the guy that gave me the scholarship, which was I didn't take it but Tom Ryan's one of them is wrestling coach. Why don't you take it because this guy's name is Mark Showtime Martin cuz I thought that like I was in high school like wrestling a tire life and I thought like you went to college or some D1 it would just be my whole life again. Yeah III then I can actually have fun in college at the same time wrestle and it won't need a whole life, but you wanted to crush some puss and you thought that your behavior of course, but I was wrong cuz wrestlers kind of sports like all or nothing. There is no like even D3 is basically like, you know, three practices off a working out or two packs a day cutting way if you want to be good at anything, there's no specially with wrestling and maybe basketball is different or football, but when you're wrestling D1 D2 D3 birth A full-time job. Yeah, you want to be an All-American?.

Her are he's no longer with us. I won't say his who he was but He was with a sixty six year old woman and while he was like twenty the five and he he was like it was the best because it was horrible. Yes we call that again. He was also like like controller. Six six you won't see. Yeah absolutely cut to the chase. I think so and they know the good restaurants by at that age. They know where to go. They know a decent place. You can also now Google and find that out yelp reviews on that person's profile other wants to cross reference if they know what they're talking about because when you get to a certain age you start forgetting things to say and then maybe you might WanNa just here to promote anything. Anything I wanted to see you and say you would have text me and said Hey I'm in town I'm here. I know I know clue about and are always. Can't that's what will be the opposite of what we were just talking with m. l. w. about their athletic lettuce based hybrid strong style. Imagine imagine a match between Filthy Tom. LAWLOR RJ city. Like I think they would just stare at each each other for twenty minutes. I don't think I don't think there. I've wrestled RJ city. He he does like to play some games on the microphone. I I believe one of our times. He sang a song of the time. And every time we had a feud going on for a little bit in Toronto we had a little bit of a feud where it was facing each other. But he's he's a good wrestler Hustler but he prefers just to kind of. Do these things put it this way. I can wrestle but I don't okay I get it. I understand remind you of a young Paul Roma it does yes who also looks great by the way and can still work. Apparently I don't know about that I. I saw a picture of doing a top rope elbow from like last year. Really so yeah. Maybe that's my mania weekend. Max Is me and Paul Roma I will say. There's a lot to get in to discuss. "So if you're a fan and you were at that show I mean that's probably one of the things that you remember the most is that even if you don't remember what was going on in that match you remember. This guy was in there for damn near an hour so every time that I'm back at the Melrose ballroom in New York in Queens. I seem I feel like I'm at home. I get a really good reaction from on the crowd So this is one of my favorite places I do. Enjoy the atmosphere of kind of like the smaller. Venue the nightclub tale venue where you have a balcony and there's people out there it's just a different atmosphere than the large open spaces that you get like convention centers and stuff like ban. I prefer the more intimate setting. In the Melrose Boreham is very similar to the event in Orlando that Mel W is at the guild nightclub. It's very similar. Look like everything else so you probably feel at home there. Well I mentioned the melrose ballroom for reason. Not the Orlando Guilt. I the crowd here. I think is a little more with with the action. That's going on in the Roswell as I think the product the EMEL W fans of a certain you know it's it's it's a a wrestling based company that they have their own fan base. I mean from www impact. We are all the same. But what's going can attract fans watch something different it's the athletes and the basic management style. I feel MSW does have a more of an athletic almost like a new Japan. Japanese Japanese style base or a mixture of And those fans are really really into that style. And it's it's showing by the success of Emo w yeah absolutely and you mentioned the style and that seems to be a style that is really not just with them. L. W. but also all all over the world of pro wrestling. Do you see that growing more and more do you. Do you feel. There is a good connection between the two. Yeah obviously like Russell goes to do these. Large Epson Ebbs and flows and you have Different styles come up throughout the years. Obviously there's been like since the nineties. More of a Lucia Lebron Salman talking about new Japan. Or you know a strong style. I guess some people would say a harder hitting style But now kind of the best guys from each style have been locked up you know. They've been They've been around for a while people seeing what they can do. And they've kind of infiltrated did the the larger I guess wrestling you know like the wrestling world. You know. There's there's more there's more japanese-style wrestling there's more wrestling with acrobatic high spots And now is the time for another style of wrestling to kind of emerge. I think it is this More realistic I guess you could say or more martial arts based style Talk about animal w kind of being a representative that here will as you're talking about that. I'm thinking about this show. That's happening tomorrow night. And it's like Davey Boy Smith Junior is on the show right Timothy Thatcher Shinjiro Otani You know those are all guys who are known as wrestlers like professional wrestlers through and through and then you throw in Richard Holiday M J F Hammer Stone in this tournament as well so you get a good mix of everything But the guys that you much like I mentioned Angelique David Boy Smith Junior. We're talking about the style they boy Smith Junior Timothy Thatcher Myself Simon Simon Grimm's Ivan God ship Douglas this James King Mo dominant Greenie. These are all guys now under the mold of you banner who have a fighting back around. And I haven't even mentioned low key yet. Yeah you know so. There's a ton of guys who while they may not all be specifically like a Jujitsu player or enemy guys. They are all martial artists in a way and I think that is going to be the next wave. And then you have like a man's Warner and Jimmy Havoc that those guys that you know bring in you know staple guns and everything thing else of man's can throw down. I was hoping we'd get. Manson studio is going to bring in a case of Bud Light. I think would appreciate that. He's probably like fifteen skin. Deep all started bears debut brother and who would have thought that in the age of a throwback. Because there's a lot of wrestlers that I've never been in a real fight and there's a lot of wrestlers out. They're not you know saying anyone is in tough but to me you need to be at least one real fight to understand psychology Or like you. If you go down in Dallas you may get jumped then you have to be able to defend yourself and I like the fact that. MSW Does have some tough guys and that's important for wrestling and gives you credibility when you're already credible Mike. What you're hearing catch busted open in live Monday through Saturday from nine? AM to noon eastern on Sirius. Jericho is Greg Val title. Who's Greg Bell Towers? Yes was. He's the Hammer. It was a different shape at the time but he was in that shape. Um You tax demand was a picture of Jim backus with a puppet. Yeah Yeah and then you responded one back to me with Jim in you said he wanted story worry about us. Jim backus kind of sound like he was almost going to cheat on his wife with Marilyn Monroe correct Marilyn Monroe called him into her dressing room. And he's like ooh let's do this and she said. Can you please please do the Mr Magoo voice for me. So you're talking about the Jim backus from Mary Jo fame other Jim back is most people look Gilligan's island I choose to say I marry Joan to me is the better. I'm happy we're bringing out these hot button issues on this program. That's what we're here for. You not doing comedy you're doing where are you staying. I'm staying at my grandmother's Garden City. I came into say see her and then I was like hey I'm going to be it's only for a few days and then it turned into this and then I'm doing I was out Last evening with some theater people talking about some hot things and of course yes uncles of mine. And of course a lot of people don't know this but me and Tommy I met we were doing a table. Read of the revival of Damn Damn Yankees. Yes absolutely unfortunately he didn't get and don't listen to what the critics say. I thought you were great. Thank you I appreciate and a lot of people. Don't know how Tommy Dreamer even got the name Dreamer because he actually big fan of Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat. That's where it so. I love the Seinfeld Seinfeld episode. Where the with Joseph Technical dreamcoat technical technicolor technicolor? dreamcoat like the technical one. Not a big fan of Seinfeld Seinfeld so I didn't catch that episode argue. What year were you born fifty? Yes we worked out culturally. I'm like sixty two. What is your infatuation relation with this older culture? And do you like do you look at a grandma. God I gotta hit that. I've I've been trying to update older. They're women because I need someone who can hang in the conversation or like a betty white type. No because Betty White scumbag. I say top guy just the top like I would call becky lynch atop guy well. She's the man works. Yeah that works out. Well so is your favorite. all-time time actor actor will actor and since its all time than actress. Then I'll say singer about that. Okay I like Victor Victor Bono. He's on my head right now and just whatever picking out of thin air because he just fun fun roles you don't know it's no good. How many people have tuned out is? The has the demographics demographics. Now now. Now we're GonNa get whatever something and then my favorite actress. I like Madeline Kahn. I think it's a good solid. Pick a Bette Davis of course and singer. I'm going through a deep Bobby Darin phase interesting Bobby Darin. Yeah here. That often madeline. Kahn was in some Great Mel Brooks. Well she she was probably in the greatest comedy ever blazing saddles. Yeah she was also great in young Frankenstein so young. I thought she was better. She's great in and it's it's not a great movie history of the world less great in it she. She is battling a great combination of sexy. And and if that's such a thing I like it sounds like someone I met a lot of women. I Know David my dear friend friend David Arquette. Yes Jean Part. "Lou knows what's going on with this gentleman after what we saw on Thanksgiving. I'm being sports. L. W. Fusion. And we welcome in for a second time here in studio. Tom All the time are you today. I'm doing great. Although you introduced Jake Afa to as the champion champion. You should be introducing me as the champion Unfortunately his cohorts in Contra had something to say about that in the past. So I'll I'll let that slide but I appreciate you welcoming welcoming I know and I do want to get into this. Because let's just what's this look back at. What took place place on Thanksgiving and Tommy? You know it's Thanksgiving. I've decided to make it a new tradition to watch. MSW wrestling on Thanksgiving. I'm not watching the NFL anymore. And and you know the families around. I'm watching it and the show ends and you hear you know Tom or say fuck. Contra fucked Devante Eric's so where does your legion dryer do. Do you have any allegiance at all. I'm pretty sure my allegiance lies with myself. Okay I haven't changed as a person over time I'm just you know letting people see what the Eric's are all about. And if you've done your research over the past thirty plus years in the sport you know when it comes down to the von Erich. It's all about them them and they made w all about themselves. They made my fight with the Contra unit about themselves about bringing it back to Dallas and get done in front of their family. But what about me you know. I'm the one that brought them in here. I gave them the opportunity to do all that. And I just got thrown by the wayside so I'm not not changing. There's no change in me. I'm still the same person. I'm just enlightening. Everybody else as to how Eric's truly are you know why he has this attitude the two because he's a real deal fighter and he has a competitive edge and yes betting upon yourself like he does he also. He's one of these rare hybrid rid athletes that comes from the world and has now been successful In Our world I got a question for you. The it was weird weird to me. Maybe you can enlighten us enlighten nation because we got so many people hitting us up on social media There was a statement that you are no longer with m. l. w. you and then like a week later you'd resign when Mo.. W is this like per what was going on in your head or like what's going on with your actions now Alec How you're basically bet upon yourself There's a lot of things that when into the process of I guess now resigning with 'em all W W. It it's been going on for months and months and months and as everybody knows there's there's other opportunities in the professional wrestling world And not only that but there's other options and opportunities. I have outside of the professional wrestling world. Whether it's in a mixed martial arts or commentary or you know I've been a big supporter of going to military bases overseas And training with troops and stuff like that and Emily W is really the place where I can continue to you have outside personal interests and also be involved in professional wrestling at the highest level that I can possibly be at and Emel wsa place to do that so there was a time time. Where in my head? I thought you know this is either gonNA move on from wrestling or I'll go somewhere else But after talking core after sitting down and come to an agreement Like I said it took months. It wasn't like this was all a one day process along thing and You know timing timing is everything and it was the perfect time for me to resign with Mel. W that's great. I mean I tell people everywhere I work if it's eighty w impact wrestler even even when I'm friends record I've worked M W you can use this company like a company will use you and they're going to get the most data view so make the most out of it or make it your home and if you make it your home then you're going to work even harder to make it better. An MSW is for wrestler. It's great that we had these options. And you know for for M. L. W. They're providing quality entertainment quality matches You know and it's also what the quality of the the people that they're working with. I mean yourself Jacob. The list goes on non of really really good athletes with not great wrestling storylines and and I'm happy that you made that decision. You're decided to make it that your home and because is also as you know. Now it's a business because I met you a long time ago Where you you Kinda knew and green into the business but you realize that it is a business and that you're making l. w. home and you're going to be the face of the company that's a great decision for you and for L. W. Fans? Yeah it's been it's been two years now I don't know if it's like two years exactly but about two years that I've been with MSW and you know when. I sat down and looked at the lay of the land. And you know obviously there w which has been around forever impacts on the rise with the deal with access a w obviously When I looked with everything there was still a lot of stuff I wanted to do in L. W. and You know sound like I'm putting a time stamp on that Miam- getting older so that's really the only time stamp the one I can put on myself but You know I I see myself with emo W for you know for as long futures I can see in the sport so You know oh I'm like I said I'm very happy that we came to an agreement. That's awesome now here in New York City as we talked about with Jake to M. L. W. Two thousand nine hundred Opera Opera Cup is taking place tomorrow night at the mellows ballroom in New York City. Now obviously thanksgiving. He took a chair to Ross. Fine Eric You're so you don't know exactly who you're going to wrestle tomorrow night but you know it's going to be a member of the von Erich family is there a preference. I don't care the von Eric Family. Every single one of them probably deserves what they're going to get in the future Ross Ross Marshall. Whoever I don't I don't care you can dig up any von Erich you can go find him out on the ranch In Hawaii you go go find a long lost inbred cousin in Texas. Do whatever you want. Okay I just want to get my hands. On one of those family members you do understand though like the von Erich family is like the biggest family in the history of pro wrestling. There's tradition there. I mean I grew up myself. What about what about George Hacking Schmidt? Schmidt I I get that with the von add sentelle. The von Eric's guy using a claw guys guys mccaw ripping limbs apart tariff over. All you got so much colleague flow. Yeah they're going to be do me a favor. That's that's like a twenty thousand dollar procedure that would have to pay to get tickets. You do know by saying this about the von Erich you're now going to be the most hated man in m. l. w. you my twitter and social media my emails seriously since I hit Ross with a chair and blown up with threats People send death death threats. They threatened my family. It is amazing at all of the I'M GONNA try to use a an a new term stands out there. The von Erich stands hands. So maybe maybe I'll fight. Stand on Eric Tomorrow. I don't know there's Tommy I mean obviously we're around the same age you grew up watching the von Air. 'cause I I mean here we are. We have Tom Lawlor in front of us. But if he's facing von Erich and he is he's going to face a member of the von Erich family tomorrow night in Queens New York at the melrose. Our was ballroom. I mean you can be rooting for the von Erich. So you not well. It is in Queens New York They'll be rooting for whoever they feel is the better later in ring performer. And if this was Texas yes you're going to go all all von Erich. But you know Tom. I'm show a different side of himself. He's showing more aggressive. Side is looking to me reminds me a bit of a stone cold dish where he don't really give a crap about anyone but himself hope so. Why not and that was a major statement that you made at the end of that show because we had Jacob too and he thought for a second? Hey did that because maybe you want to be a part of Contra but but obviously what your statements after that. You don't care about country you don't care about the von Erich you don't care about anybody do care about myself you know. Tommy said I want to say I don't care about anybody. I certainly care about myself but nobody else really takes the time to care about me. So why should I care about them. I mean I could run down in a laundry list of things I mean. If you WANNA pull up the video from wargames or though the war chamber citizen game to me The War Chamber you. You could see still shots frame by frame me down on the Mat. My face covered in Miss. I had been moon salted on super kicked beaten in up. I'm laying there. And what are the Eric's do they bring their dad into the cage. He walks right over me. Walks right over the top of me as I'm laying there. Are you kidding me well right barefoot and didn't want to step back. Yeah that's a good point sir. You still feel disrespected. I don't feel disrespected. I was disrespected. There's one person that was in that cage that may have have taken taking a look at me and may have noticed what was going on and it wasn't the von Erich it was it was low key. It was the smartest guy out of the three. That were in. There certainly wasn't a Ross or Marshall Partial. They were up there celebrating. While I'm sitting there her. Okay I'm I'm covering my face in shame as been being up. I don't know what's going on. There's music playing there celebrated on top of the cage. There's there's four there's four posts in that cage four corners four people in the match that won the match each one goes up to hit the corner and celebrate Kevin von Erich up there in the corner instead of me right. I can't even get a spot to stand on and celebrate after the matches over. Now I've I've to stand on the ground while the von Eric's and low key or a higher above above above me. I know I should be at the top of the mountain. Not them pretty good point Tommy. Now if you want to go for heat heat if he attacked Kevin von Erich even in Queens WanNa want to kill him. I bet you but but and Tom you know this. Because you've you've wrestled get on a plane that might be true or less yet the compression Russian stocks on But seriously you've you've wrestled in front of his New York crowd before and as Tom said the crowd is a bit different than anywhere else in the country. Is there a preference of crowd that you like to wrestle in front of. Is there a certain place you love to be a part of. I really liked this New York crowd at the Melrose Ballroom Room One of the biggest matches that I've had was the MLB battle riot a few years ago and it was in that place. And I was in there for fifty minutes..

"Protected. There's probably not a bonus coming your way. And for sure the extra part of your checking come in that way. And there's another factor involved in here as well. Not only are you just robbing this person, essentially, they feel that way of the money, right? You don't have much money to win do need every opportunity to collect every single dollar. The other reality here independent what the rules of the customs say is that there's a degree of honor involved. I don't think that there's a whole lot of valor in taking a beating when we already know you're tough. There are moments that it's time to prove you're tough. And then there are moments where we kind of already know, and it doesn't really serve a purpose again. Whether this one of the situations is the one that we're talking about or not is is a separate point. But I do think that when you're not competing for much money that much money as you should be making anyway, and you're gonna lose half if they stop it and more to the point in MMA, one of the reason. Why everyone is so sensitive in the sport. And they can't tolerate any degree of even quite fair criticism is because it's a bit of an honor culture. Right. So we valorize taking a beating. It's why everyone is always walking on eggshells about their opinions. Whether it's media or fighters or any other kind of figure everyone is very very careful about what they say import because you have to see everybody else. But important because it's an honor culture people are trying to preserve their honor. Listen to the tweet lots of people complaining about Magnus corner, not stopping and have never stepped foot in a cage and fought for money. He's talking one about the need to make that money and get every opportunity you can because there's not much of an opportunity to make much money generally to just have someone take it away, very very difficult. And he's also talking about the honor of it all if you don't have much money that you're going to win. Anyway, part of what you can preserve is your sense of honor. And that is a big component here that has nothing to do with the rules the rules. Don't speak about this at all on the rules. Don't inside. Devise any change in those incentives there two things utterly divorced. You wanna get better corner? Stoppages there's probably a variety of ways to get them. You want to get more proactive corner. Stoppages there's probably variety of ways to get them. It will come when the rules and the language and the customs cohere with the actual incentives that fighters face what Tom Lawlor quite correctly is observing here is that there is a whatever the rule, say, whatever the custom say, and whatever people who'd never fought in a cage for money say here's the reality that we're facing if they are that divorced and they are that far apart. You're never really going to make headway in obvious ways to raise pay. But there's probably other ways as well that are worth exploration. But you're never even going to come close. You're never going to happen. As long as there's the fighter and rule set. Utterly divided by an ocean of competing, non overlapping values and incentives. They'll ever make any sense in boxing. They're much more closely aligned you have a bit of a father, son relationship and training. You have guys who have been through the ringer who understand what they're looking at when they see somebody in a particular predicament and went to make that call when not to make that call. They know guys have a higher upside if they can stay healthy and make more money over the long term. They have a lot of guaranteed purses. You don't even hardly see any splits in boxing. So all these different factors. Put it in alignment. There's no alignment in may. So I can get up here and say, whatever I want about any issue related to this as long as the fighters feel like that is utterly divorced from the rules in which and the customs in which and the incentives in which they operate there will be no progress. All right. That's the way in here. What is next? Oh, yes. About this time now, ladies and gentleman for the Monday morning analysts..

Hey, I want to take this opportunity to say, thank you to Plante Moran and have the opportunity here to do that. Because Jerry Hildebrand and Connor Saint Charles year. They are how did you refer yourself PM capped in jazz. So we have our m cares initiative at Plante Moran. So it's Plante Moran cares. I'm so we're captains for the Detroit office. Well, thank you for captaining your team because as a result of your efforts, you have joined on as partners at the safe place center up at liberty park, and you've gotten deeply involved on a lot of different levels up. There already the academic enrichment center, which is under our umbrella there, then all of a sudden you came out of the blue and donated six thousand dollars to help fund items for students say play, including monitors for the kids were studying for the SAT's, which is really important and robotics and things like that. Plus in addition to coaching and athletic coaching. All the rest of it. You send volunteers down every other week. You don't know this candy, but the volunteers from Plante Moran come down and labeled the bags of popcorn for. Yeah. For the Brown bag popcorn. Because you know, you gotta keep label those things over and over and they come down and put the labels on the bags that we then sell at the Detroit water ice factory or in Plum market where you can get the popcorn. So that a key. Thank you. Both of you. Yes. Yeah. Beats accounting suppose. Now, what is that mean? I'm always amazed that corporations who make no mistake or bones about the fact that they are out there to make money. That's okay. There's certain ones just seem to put an enormous effort in community involvement and getting their people to volunteer. They take time off of work. Wh where does that come from an some firms and not not others? I guess I can only really speak for Plante Moran. But Plante Moran is like core. Values are principles of always been based around the idea of we care. So we care about employees. We care about our communities. It you know, we we care. So what PM cares? The organization is kind of our grassroots location based charity how we can reach out to our community directly. Connor you want to jump in here. He just want to keep looking at only at your. I mean, just killing it. And so I mean, this is part of the corporate philosophy. Then like what can we do? We get above do. They actually have meetings like where they say who's got an idea who's got a charity, you how did not look we're very very grateful. Don't misunderstand. But I'm curious how did we get on your radar? So basically, it's a firm might initiative, but each office chooses their own location own chair do support and so it's a one year thing. And so each year, we pick a new charity to support. And so in the summer, we came up with a list of a couple of different charities. And then we presented it to the office. We presented the different charity is what they do. And we had a vote and say Detroit won the vote. And so that's how we just didn't happen to have like to water ice in your hand at the time. Didn't help. Though, her volunteer. Yeah. Incentivize. Well, we appreciate that. Sam white is here who people remember Sam when we were having her on regularly for Shakespeare in Detroit, which still operates, but Sam now, I'm happy to say works with us at say, Detroit as our charity, liaison, she's done a remarkable job. You could talk into that microphone there. Sam you know, how it works pull it up a little higher. There. We go. I was taking pictures. I was taking pictures of her friends Connor and Sarah live in the moment. Not just take snapshots true. That's true. And you also have helped coordinate this. And it's a great thing when we get, you know, so much of charity work is going out and trying to get people to help you with faces trying to get people to help fund you trying to get people to volunteer. So when a company comes to you or picks you and says, hey, we want to work with you that Sam is probably the best case scenario, isn't it. It's amazing in Plante Moran. You know, some people say they went to help and they kinda stall. And maybe it takes a while for them to get actually involved, but they hit the ground running in two weeks later, we had a donation which is remarkable. Thank you. We're expecting one every two weeks from here on and going forward. Yes. And the the. Stuff that you've done it say play just in just enhanced that a little bit at our at our center up at limpkey detail some of that. Yeah. So we're still kind of working out the details with Sam and in the team there. But we have a lot of people that are interested in volunteering like assistant coaches for volleyball and basketball this fall and winter, which is really cool. And then we're also trying to put together a financial literacy program for the kids kind of taking what we know as a county and giving them the skills to be successful adults in the future. So we're we're putting together the curriculum. We're working with Sam and we're going to do like a four-month four module program for the seventh and eighth graders. And we're really excited about be great. I mean, so much of the life skills that we you know, if you have a benefit of a of a little more luxurious upbringing, you got a two parent home. You you take a lot of that stuff for granted. You know, you were getting an allowance from the time, you were five days old, and you know, you have a little Bank account, and you know, how to do. But there are a lot of kids in our city who have never written a check. They've never been funds for a check. They don't know how to give change. They don't you know in these little things just go on on. And it starts to become embarrassing for some of them to admit that they don't know how to do it. And if you just take the bull by the ones that certainly by seventh eighth grade kids should know that and if you anthocyanins that you're you're teaching what I call practical math, you know, instead of algebra and geometry not that those are important, but you know, things like how do I balance my Bank account, and what our taxes, and what's? Percentage of my income. And how do I figure out how much change I'm supposed to get back? When I give somebody a, you know, a fifty dollar Bill spree important stuff. So we really appreciate your doing that. So we just wanted to take a couple of minutes and say, thank you. Connor and Sarah. Please tell everybody back at the back Plante Moran. How much we appreciate what they're doing? And especially when it comes out and backup those bags because when we opened the doors down there and they're already sticker. I don't have to do this. Yeah. We can do we figured it out. So since we're accountants, we do a lot of counting each boxes one thousand bags, and we can do about a thousand bags in an hour or so when we have five or six people. Wow. So we have a science. Yeah. No, I like it a lot that way. I could set the new bar for the employees. Wait a minute doing this for free. Our guys you got people again. Thank you so much for coming in. All right. Connor Saint Charles and Sarah Hildebrand from Plante Moran and great partners in the community. And we appreciate everything you're doing for Detroit. A brief break.
