"Trust? Did you put titled to your various investments in your house at cetera? You know, we had the will the power Carney, and living, well done. At the same time. Yes, but when you say the will was, it was, I guess it was a pour over will see look, look Tom the first thing when I saw when I saw the. Jane summary of the reason you were calling it said you hit a did a trust in North Carolina. Twenty four years ago. You should have somebody look at that trust. Because lots changed in twenty four years. I have no idea what you're what tax planning was done if any. You know there was a time when I did have that done. But, you know, Andy attorney, you know, told me they just call them and has regional nail to me. You know, question was, I didn't say they reason court since I had a copy of it. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know why the attorney would need a copy the original trust. I mean, you, you you're telling them this is the copy of the trust. So I needs to work on. And he looked at the copy. I had I brought at ten his office. I mean, I, I hate to criticize colleague at the bar without knowing all the circumstances. But I don't I don't know why he would have needed an original copy of the trust. The original copy of the trust would only become significant if somebody would was suggesting that the so-called copy was somehow a forgery or had been changed or whatever. I mean twenty four look look. I go to a different lawyer, I guess if this guy's not willing to proceed without an original copy, and you don't want to get an original copy. There's no reason you need an original copy with the important thing is that you have somebody review, the trust in just explain what, what might need some tweaking. Twenty four years is a very long time that look the tax law start with that has changed radically over twenty four years. Number one, number two, I don't know North Carolina used to have its own estate tax. It's, it's abolished at a few years ago. So you may have some tax planning and near you, don't need this point. I don't know somebody at a look at that trust Tom and it doesn't have to be the original that they're looking at. Oh, joy. Joy, judge says I said Tom loop looked up at my screen, and I see Tom's because someone named Tom is called George. No. You don't need it. You don't need the original trust to review the trust you just don't. Okay. So either either tell your attorney that, you know, do it based on the copy. I'm giving you else consulted different attorney because I just shouldn't there's nothing terribly important about the original copy of the trust in this context. Okay. Thanks for your call. Tom hang on. We gotta take a break here for a couple of announcements.

"Marsha? Greece were back live from tickies peach in south Philly, the Martian indication, that's coming up. And if you wanna get a force them get your buddies get some, some guys with work. Whatever it is. It's do twentieth. White clay creek country club in on the grounds of Delaware park. So just find our social pages, Google go to our Facebook or Twitter. You can find it. That's how you get in with the force, but we have we had four spots to give away. So this listener caller foursome we have one person already. So Bill chance for three spots between now and then the end of the show when you call in and you talk about it, you're gonna give us a fifteen second pitch on why we should pick you and it is a great day ago. Obviously, a great a great on a great golf course out there played it. Maybe ten times in my in my lifetime ban up here. Great golf course. You know what I'm saying? I we've been doing it three years. I think the event is growing each year. We've added something different every year to make the experience better for the people who have come back with us and the ones who are doing it for the first time it's a great opportunity. You've love playing golf, your big fan of the show man. We'd love to have you come out. It's like it's like the marks community, having a community golf outing was great last year. So yes, it's been great man. Play some golf. And then afterwards, we hang out, we have. And so you can get in their work ceremony. We three spots to give away three individuals spots not force the three individuals spots, when you call in tell us why we should pick you. It's pretty open ended. Let's go to Tom Abington, Tom. How are you, buddy? Today. Tom what's. So you guys are asking if we should sign Windsor, not. Well, you don't compiling a list of people at the station there, who I consider whence eight or slash foles troopers, right? Which would probably say no to paying or make them prove himself. So that list includes Joe the told the calmer. Now, we know for sure parks, Joe Jila Quevedo, and you Johnny marks. New cold wax, hater. When did you tune in today, Tom why? Because you're about to tell me that you said to him. No. So if it's a star of the show, I believe it's this is why this is probably how should have explained the difference between Donovan as Donovan will say, oh, well, you have to draft somebody, you have to make them. Wait. I realize that you don't make them. Wait. Why would you make them? Wait. What are you waiting for? Right. You sign them out. Get it out of the way he doesn't have to worry about it. You already committed to him anyway. Pay him now paying more value right now. Dine them. What let me ask you at the end to make my case for the force that me. Asked you earlier in the show when has Dak Prescott ever played at the same level. Of course him Wednesday shows and your answer was last year. So they back Prescott played an MVP Halloway Scher. Am I missing something there? Let me both saying last year Wentz comparible to deck Prescott flooded. Yeah. Took it. That's how. Understood the but, but besides he'll, so the MVP level was how many games was it? You know what I mean? It does matter right now. Yes, it does. It was thirteen so ever Sarah, thirteen games, VP level. Do you want? Enact Prescott with thirteen three. Playing all sixteen games. You understand. Played an MVP Tom, you may disagree with what I'm saying about that. I'm not saying that, that Prescott has has the ceiling of course wins that Prescott has a running game. They're built to be a different team. The Carson Wentz deck, the same kind of player the Carson Wentz. Is it doesn't mean he can't be equally effective? Right. And that's my point. Hey, my, you're gonna agree to disagree on that one that all right? All right. So you're right. So I heard a caller earlier. You said he's on the charities charitable, that's all by may. I'm in it to win it. I got a pretty good track record. I've been tournaments before it got one way under my belt. I gotta longest drive at three hundred twenty eight yard under my belt in the closest to the six and a half inches. So afraid of a little competition. Loved to join the force them. That's all I need to hear. And I need time in my group with the hell is that it is the end, then what do you think? Tom. Abington. I was that idea. I love Tom hang on. Defer to you guys on that. I mean I don't know. He's good at golf great. They could gophers man. I, I need something on the good golfer, Thomson, good. It sounds good listener to the show. So I'll go Foudy. I know we won't good. Gophers hip, but it like a guy that's trainwreck would be even more fun. You're not really a golfer. No. But if you like recipes Levi, whatever have Levi, Goffin Tom Abington, you know what I mean? Like, I'd rather have a guy that gives me a little more stimulus besides golf. I thought it was pretty good. There is a call. He was good. Yes, the question that I was asking says you didn't interpret it the right way was at what point. And Dax career had he played at the level Carson show as the highest level in which he's played as never. Okay. That was the I mean that's what I was asking. All right. But then I could see the next year that maybe that played better than John Dak Prescott is a game manager. You know you don't pay game thirty million dollars a year. And that's all well, I believe he's better than a game manager you're saying he's not he doesn't have the record before when Zeke wasn't there. While I mean, if they were ready to in sixteen had to be like they want. Very good. They weren't very good. When I was eight. I would have to look up what it is. I if. King Carson Wentz do more with less and blaming it eagles, don't have less. But could he do more with less? She. I believe he could. He's a he's better skills, the neck Prescott does all about it. The offense isn't built around Dak Prescott and Dallas. Right. But the question the question right now is as we head into next week's OTA's. What do you do with wins? There's been a lot of talk about extending him right now. And it seems I mean eagles have flat out said that that's what they wanna do. But what's the number, but we talking about market value or the eagles talking about they want to discount? They want to say, listen, we know we know what a quarterback like makes putt, we want to protect ourselves. So we'll give you some incentives to where you can come closer to that number. But if it's thirty million dollars right now should the eagles extended market, value or should they say, you know what? We're gonna wait it out till next year. Hey, he plays sixteen games as a great year. He'll get paid thirty five million thirty million dollars. Eight seven to nine ninety four ninety four and the way they speak for you. But the way that we've been talking about it's day is that it makes the most sense to do this off season to get it done? Now I mean what are we talking about here saving a couple million dollars? Maybe if he doesn't have a great year like just pay the men now, pay market value going to have to pay him. Anyway. Eagles have already told you, they said it publicly they're going to give the due to contract extension as a matter of when it's going to happen. So the eagles aren't waiting for Carson Wentz to play sixteen games. I don't think that's what they're doing. And if I remember correctly. I believe Donovan got his extension at their his first deal. It was at there's third year. I won't say Arthur year. Now, obviously Donovan was coming up. Going to the NFC championship game losing to the Rams. I think he got his contract extension that off season because it was at the year three and I think it was the first time the eagles were. Able to offer him an extent. Right. And so I just think that's just standard operating procedure for these franchises with these young is when you identify your guy, you go ahead and get him under a getting under a tame friendly deal, or you get a deal done because it's going to benefit you salary cap wise, more down the road. It just is it gives you the ability to move money around. You know, it gives you the -bility restructure cautious contract allocate money here there, because you already have him under contract. Right. So the eagles understand this business. And so if they didn't think it was smart to give Fletcher to give Carson Wentz a new deal right now. They wouldn't be talking about doing it so openly. Right. And they are so they know they want to get it done now. Yup. And I, I don't think it's at a discount. I mean maybe it's right. Why would why would he do? I don't know if it's thirty two in the neighborhood thirty million, I would say is fair estimate what he gets more. And here's my thing on that. I would love if the eagles are able to sort of gain some leverage, and get a contract structure to where it's going on loud them to continue to add pieces to this team twenty two twenty three million nonsense. Get outta here with that you're gonna be way closer to thirty million away from. Yes. So if they're able to get that done. That's great. Because I do believe you still need to have the ability to add players around Carson. No, you're right. And that's what the Cowboys are trying to sell Dak on Stephen Jones. Brought that up say, yeah. We want to have the ability to have sustained success and you wanna put a Ross now that's not responsibility. That's the GM's response, I think trying to kill trip being listened, same thing. The patriots Tom Brady when it yet, and he does. So either you. I'm not telling that he should take less money. But I'm telling you. That's what the Cowboys are trying to go to Mike Schuylkill county, Mike. What do you think man? How are you? I'm good. How you guys it very. Well, thank you. Good. Good. Yeah. It first time talking is, it's a pleasure to drive homeless, it, you make it a dream. I, I. I I don't I love Carson Wentz. And at his best he was fantastic. Football's dangerous game. And he's can have a lot more pieces around somebody to protect tackle coming up in back and Jason Peters has more weapons than I, I think you're just pay the money. It's not my money. It's not the callers money. And I just think you'd have to make an investment, right? I mean, what Mike I mean, honestly, anybody could say it's not our money, what do we care, but we know in the NFL that money does matter, you have a salary cap and everything else. And so that's why I think a lot of fans are saying, yeah, we like Carson but he gets hurt. And if you're gonna have a high high price back because you're worried about him getting hurt. You need more money. If he's making thirty million dollars, you can't bring in a lot of other people eagles aren't interested in paying a backup a lot of money. And that's why they drafted the young aren't interested in paying a backup seven eight million dollars to ABM. Germantown AB. How are you? Johny mark. How are you a whatever you got me so mad. Right. You with a snowball? I came to me. Yeah. I know point by you. Yeah. A win. You don't have nothing good to say about me. What do you like about cars?.

"Available in the US? I don't know exact answer to that. But it is probably the Hyundai accent. I think there's I think there's still a version of that. You can get out the door with an automatic under sixteen grand. Wow. Yeah. Wow. All right. Okay. Eight four seven area code says. What is time think what we were just talking about this unveiling time think about the twenty twenty Toyota Supra it recently sold at auction for two point one million. Have you heard you? Have you heard any negative feedback? The only negative feedback is coming from the media because I think it's not styled aggressively enough. I don't know until we drive it. We won't know. It is rare drive. It isn't inline six as a Supra. Hopefully it lives up to that name. I suspect it's going to be a great car. Okay. Seven seven three area code says. I love my two thousand five dodge grand caravan with two hundred and thirty eight thousand miles even though rust has taken over over. I'm still writing it's still writing great. My question is what would be a comparable vehicle sees the end in sight. There still is a grand caravan. That's the good news. It was supposed to have been discontinued two years ago. But there is still a brand new dodge grand caravan. If you're looking for a deal, there are two or three year old examples of that out there that are probably pretty affordable. Okay. And speaking of lots of mileage, our listener duck, Tom dot Yasha, tell us about this. He's gonna hit. He's gonna hit a million miles in his civic docking. I could we actually last time. I was on the radio with you. Yeah. Dot called it. And we finally connected offline and we've been talking about Email and accidentally pictures of dock with his his civic. Yeah. It's a two thousand eight civic with nine hundred eighty thousand miles on it. And I absolutely want to write about this guy and his car, doc, as you might expect kinda crazy. Yeah. He's awesome. Doc regular listener he's called in before we know doc special. I'm very much looking forward to ride you this. But I'm going to share this once I've got the story up. I'll make sure I share it with you guys. I want to get it to to the other folks. Because I think they're gonna wanna talk to talk about this. Absolutely. How often does something like that happened a million miles? I not often anymore because people just don't hold onto their cars that law, and it takes a certain amount of dedication to do that. But he's he's managing to put a hundred thousand miles a year on his car and keep it running. That's amazing. Yeah. It's amazing. Okay. Tom hang on. We'll do. All right. Tom appel is with us. "Commercial during the holiday season is about a husband buying a wife a car wife buying a husband a car or something like that is that really a phenomenon. I don't think it is. I I don't know the answer to that question that I've been asked this before I do know that someone of my office actually, located a company that sells bows big enough for cars. Doing a lot of business. Yeah. That's the that's the other thing Tom every single one of the cars. In those commercials has a giant red bull on top of it. Not one the one that kills me as the guy that buys his wife, GMC Acadia. She wants to pick up truck. He bought himself right at all. I can think about is is that that's a hundred ten grand worth a stocking stuffers. That's a heck of a Christian. That's what I'm talking about town every time I just this past the past few weeks where you're inundated with these commercials. I just every time I watch when I'm like, nobody buys cars for their husbands or wives that just doesn't happen. And again like you how much money are you spending for Christmas? I mean, let me ask you this time, you know, our sales during the holidays, do the does it spike. No, actually, you know, December starts to be strange. Mas because sales are sort of really strong towards the beginning of the month. And then they taper off as people sort of get distracted by holiday planning, right? And in January and February very slow sales months. Right. I don't I have no idea whether or not the notion of hey could give a car gift is really a trigger or not. I doubt it. Yeah. I don't know. I just I've always been fair. I mean, it's always been fascinating to me and this year. It's I don't know why. But this year, it seemed like every single car commercial, and you know, depending on what sort of programming you're watching the there are several several car commercials that happened during commercial breaks. And I watch a lot of hawks games and stuff. And so, you know, there's a car commercial every brace beer and cars and so. Yeah. I just I just that was an observation that I made I just I don't believe these commercials. These people in these commercials don't exist. I don't believe they happen. And I think it was primarily, Lexus, GMC and Mercedes. Putting those ads this time this year. And and Lexus always does it. The big bows. I can't believe you. Where is this? Do you know where this company is that makes the giant bows for the cars? Soclean expensive. Yeah. So not only are you paying a ton of money for the car. But you're also paying a lot of money for the boat that goes on top of that you're gonna pitch into the garbage and twenty minutes. Yeah. My grandmother used to save bows? But that one seems too big. I was gonna say you can't reuse that way. No. I mean, everybody we we my family we use we reused Vos all the time. But not that size. So all right. A couple of quick. Couple of quick tax Sam. Seven seven three area codes says we're interested in purchasing two thousand nine hundred eighteen Toyota RAV four hybrid they won't be out until March. But what do you think of them? Oh, I have not driven the four hybrid yet. I really liked the old rat four hybrid. It's a failure forcible system. The uses a system where only the real wheels are driven by eletricity which cuts down on weight and cost. But it's nearly as effective, and it it to that reason hybrid is not that much more expensive. Version, but the fuel economy is generally good seriously, consider purchasing just full disclosure of the last generation. I suspect it's going to be very good. Okay. All right. Very cool. When did Toyota get into the hybrid game. Wow. The first came out almost twenty twenty years ago, something like that that that long. Really? Yeah. Yeah. And they've been in the game ever since and virtually every Lexus model, for example, Lexus division of Toyota is available as a hybrid and most Toyota models are available as hybrids. They generally very good hybrid. So the tiller advantages usually significant do they kind of lead the hybrids, then are the in the in the in the category. Sowing the most hybrid, and and in most categories in terms of just general refinement in seamlessness of operation to kind of headed. I came. Okay. Also from seven seven three Erica, by the way. If you guys have any questions or concerns or questions, it's three one two nine eight one seven two hundred for talk and text three one thousand nine hundred seventy eight hundred. What does Tom think of the two thousand nine hundred Jeep compass? Oh, the compass to compass is GPS compact crossover it sold insanely well of two thousand eighteen I think there's a lot of good deals out there. But I wouldn't talk anyone of buying this generally space efficient. It's kind of fun to drive my primary concerns of that vehicle is that the only engine available in the US market is as pets. Tiger sharks two point four liter engine. And it's a little rough. I just don't think it's that refined. But I would definitely if you want one I would definitely try that. And then I would try couple other vehicles try a hundred via we just mentioned the wrath for the ramp for. Okay. All right. All right. Well, so there's some of the texts that that we've gotten that are coming in. We're gonna talk when we take a break here for the news in a minute here, Tom. Okay. We're going to talk about how auto sales increased in two thousand eighteen unexpectedly. Yeah. And then the original nineteen sixty four Broncos are making a comeback crazy. And again, the, you know, the first thing you when when I say Ford Bronco and people are hearing, what's the first thing that pops into people's minds when you when you say Ford, Bronco gotta be oh, Jason exactly. So unfortunately, it is. The Ford Bronco a lot of people really love that car. And then all of a sudden now is always associated with OJ Simpson. Vets like when we talk sports down and talk, and whenever I mentioned, George Brett who was one of the greatest baseball players who ever played the game amazing first thing, I think of when I think of George Brennan pine tar, and then hemorrhoids. That's the first thing. I think it's so, unfortunately, you first thing you think of when you think of Ford Bronco is OJ Simpson, and George Bradwell that would be hemorrhoids and pine tar. Despite the fact that he's you know, he's he's an he's an amazing baseball player. So that is exactly the same thing. Tom hang on. Okay. Powell is with us. We got more car stories and automotive stuff to talk about. And if you have questions or comments or concerns automotive related, it's three one two nine eight one seven two hundred three one two nine eight one seven two hundred for talk and text. Yeah. Why does it seems slightly wrong? Time especially BMW BMW is like a company that any true auto enthusiast. Just lose the day they ever discovered the crossover was just just so culture to what the company was about. And yet, they started building crossovers, and the crossovers are awesome. There's much fun to drive almost as their sedans coupes, and it seems wrong, and yet somehow I took a weird pleasure in knowing that this big heavy crossover. Also handles extremely well. Okay. So that US highway seventy two in our Vada caller had a question about a traffic signal that is indeed a seat on signals or folks are going to be looking into that single signal on Indiana street, somebody else had a question about tower road and Denver that's actually a Denver project, and it is still ongoing. Okay. The Colorado boulevard and cherry creek where the gentleman says he saw five accident today that is that's a that's a Denver signals. So we will contact sitting Denver to let them know that concern, and they can take a look at that. And then the color that concerned about York street on part of the central seventy project that is indeed closing permanently. And a lot of people are gonna have comments questions about. The central seventy projects we actually have a hotline number that people can call and it is eight three three c seventy info or eight three three two seven zero four six three six. So if people have questions about that central seventy project, there's a hotline that can actually go to to get their questions answered. Okay. So that's eight three three c seventy info. That's right. I'm writing it out on your folder that I have free to put questions in to. So I can refer back to that later. The other thing was you wanted to make a comment about toll roads on I seventy in the mountains because the guy said, hey, those roads are paid for isn't it double-taxation to make us pay for it again. No interesting question, so central time or I seventy was built, you know, decades ago with tax dollars Colorado tax dollars federal tax dollars for the interstate highway program what was done about three years ago because of the congestion on on I seventy we did a project about an eighty million dollar project that widened the highway. In the eastbound direction added an express lane, which is told and that tolling helps pay for the bonds on the on the on the project that was the improvement that can improve travel time reliability on central on. I seventy and it certainly has done that. So it is just because it was built decades ago with the increase in traffic flow, or because the highways deteriorated we need to go in and rebuild. And that's true of most of our facilities across the state just because they were bills like our homes when we build our homes somewhere down the road twenty five years down the road. We have to put a new roof on it. And we have to pay for it. All right. Let's go to Mars excuse me. Tom hang on there. Oh my gosh. Marcy held all that time. Go right ahead with seats. Michael lewis. Hi, hey, I've got a question about an off ramp from seventy westbound onto northbound Sheridan. Okay. There used to be a yield sign there. There hasn't been one for quite some time. And I drive by there every single day, and I've almost been hit multiple times by people coming off of I seventy and not realizing they're supposed to wait to merge. Yeah. No, great question. Tom. I'm familiar with the interject intersection. In fact, I had a we had a meeting on that earlier in the week because of neighborhood concerns about the safety that intersection or region. One office is looking at that to see if there are some things both on a short term basis that we could do to improve safety that intersection. And also more of a longterm. What are the are there physical improvements that can be made canon should be made to that? Intersection. And so I appreciate that. It's very timely.
